Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey everybody, welcome to Vince on a Wednesday. It is great to have you with us, the best audience anywhere. We've got a big show for you today. We're going to get into the Charlie Kirk Medal of Freedom ceremony that took place yesterday at the White House. A great event, touching event, as the president presented a great American posthumously with the Medal of Freedom. His widow, Erica Kirk, there to accept it. We'll dive into that. Also, we've got some interesting things that are developing at the White House today,
Starting point is 00:00:30 involving Cash Patel and the president of the United States will explore what that could mean coming up. And new attacks on border patrol, immigration enforcement in the United States in Chicago. It's also out of control. And I will explain exactly what's happening here, what needs to happen next. It's all ahead on another busy edition of Vince. It is great to have you here, as always. It really is. Do you ever feel like you're being observed on the internet?
Starting point is 00:00:55 Ever feel like you're being watched? Internet service providers can see every single website. site that you visit. And in the United States, they're even allowed to sell your browsing history. That's what they do to you. But until the laws can be changed around this, you need to protect yourself. And the way I do it is with ExpressVPN, an easy-to-use app that encrypts and reroutes all my internet traffic through secure servers. Because I use ExpressVPN, my internet provider cannot see my browsing history and turn around and sell it. I don't want that. ExpressVPN also hides my IP address so greedy data brokers can't use it to build a program.
Starting point is 00:01:30 of me to sell off to marketers. I wouldn't call myself the biggest tech expert, but I do find ExpressVPN incredibly easy to use. I just tap one button and boom, I'm connected. They've got apps for every device, not to mention it is the number one rated VPN by CNET, The Verge, and tons of other tech reviewers. So if you want to start taking your online privacy seriously, don't wait. Use my special link. You'll get four extra months of ExpressVPN for free at ExpressVPN.com slash Vince. That's ExpressVPN.com slash Vince. Yeah, the president of the United States is set to hold a mystery 3 p.m. press conference today. As at the time we're putting this show together, of course, we're doing it live on Rumble.
Starting point is 00:02:19 Rumble.com slash Vince 10 a.m. Eastern time each day. But the president's going to have an announcement at 3 p.m. eager to see what that is i won't dwell on it for a tremendous amount of time because especially there will be podcast listeners who are hearing all of this going this we know what it's about i'm listening after it happened okay i respect you for that but i can't climb into a time machine right now and tell you what's going to happen at three o'clock so let me just make a let me just theorize about it for a moment if it's the FBI director at the white house with the president of the united states it is not to announce prosecutions it won't be what the attorney general would do
Starting point is 00:02:54 which is to announce that they're dropping fresh prosecutions on someone, that indictments are coming for somebody in particular. That's not what this will be. The FBI is an investigative body. So presumably, they're going to make an investigative announcement. What will they announce? Well, let me guess. Let me think about it.
Starting point is 00:03:13 It could be Antifa related. The president of the United States is very concerned about left-wing violence in the United States of America being perpetrated against her. citizens and also against federal law enforcement in places like Portland and Chicago. So could we see an announcement today related to an investigation into Antifa, the effort that the FBI is taking to get to the bottom of it? Could we see, for instance, a public request for tips to take Antifa down? That's all very possible. And so again, because it's going to happen at 3 o'clock today, I won't spend a lot of time speculating on the subject, but it matters a great
Starting point is 00:03:50 deal and I'm eager to see it. So we'll get a hold of that and probably have some things to say about it tomorrow on this program. But we are watching, we're watching that. Oh, also, yeah, that's a really good point. Justin puts on screen the other thing here that Cash Patel has just announced that the FBI has taken down one of the largest global human trafficking and cyber fraud networks ever. This was a criminal empire built on forced labor and lies and we crushed it, protect kids at all costs, SADS MAGO voice. So that may very well be what this is about here, that they, that they, that they celebrate this at the end of a global human trafficking ring. Yeah, that's worth celebrating with the president of the United States. So that's, that's very likely a very reasonable answer
Starting point is 00:04:33 to this. I hope both men take questions today. The president often does. It's, you know, the FBI director, if he's involved, you know, the FBI is not always in the position to be able to answer all of the questions, but we'll see. I do, I do hope there's a press conference at to this thing. Speaking of Antifa and left-wing violence, we're definitely still seeing a lot of it. And that includes in the city of Chicago. We get some chaos in Chicago.
Starting point is 00:04:59 Broadview is the location of the immigration processing center there in Illinois. An illegal alien just rammed border patrol law enforcement vehicles in Chicago yesterday. And we get some early indications on this story from Ali Bradley. Great reporter over at News Nation. I've always appreciated Ali through the years. She's been a great guest on all of my programs. And she says that sources confirmed to her that an illegal alien had rammed a Border Patrol vehicle
Starting point is 00:05:29 Tuesday morning in Chicago. And as a result of that, a pursuit began naturally. Law enforcement gave chase. Agents conducted a pit maneuver to stop the fleeing suspects. In other words, like disabled the vehicle by ramming into it themselves. A crowd formed and gas was deployed by, agents to get the group to disperse the DHS released a statement on the subject saying that Tuesday morning while conducting an immigration enforcement operation in Chicago, a vehicle driven
Starting point is 00:05:58 by an illegal alien rammed a border patrol vehicle and attempted to flee the scene. Border Patrol pursued this vehicle and was eventually able to stop it, utilizing an authorized precision immobilized technique. Sorry, it's called a precision immobilization technique, a pit maneuver. Once the, when I think of a pit maneuver, I think of, you know, if you basically tap the back of the vehicle with your car and you throw it. You just hit the back corner of it. You guys in law enforcement can tell me if I'm right about that, but that seems like the way you do it. Once the vehicle was stopped, the suspects who are both illegal aliens attempted to flee on foot. As Border Patrol arrested the subjects and attempted to secure the scene, a crowd began to form and eventually turned hostile.
Starting point is 00:06:42 Yeah, a mob surrounded from. federal law enforcement yesterday. They had to use crowd control measures to stop the chaos. This incident is not isolated, says DHS. It reflects a growing and dangerous trend of illegal aliens, violently resisting arrest and agitators and criminals ramming cars into our law enforcement officers. The fact that this attack was carried out by two illegals highlights the need for federal
Starting point is 00:07:06 law enforcement to continue to do their job of enforcing the laws of our nation, all while receiving no pay thanks to the Democrats, It's continued government shutdown. Take a look at the coverage of this. We've got some video footage from a local Chicago affiliate. They had an eye in the sky, a helicopter over the scene, watching as a mob descends on federal law enforcement. Take a listen.
Starting point is 00:07:31 When you first got on scene and you were able to talk to some neighbors and some witnesses there on the scene and described to us what initially... Judy, wait one second. I see Chicago police are... arriving and putting themselves in the middle of the situation right now. It appears there might be someone in command from what I can see approaching the area. I'm not sure if this isn't an attempt to start dispersing the crowd. But we have just in the last few seconds seen Chicago police would remain back bay, now starting to put themselves in the middle of the
Starting point is 00:08:13 it. Oh, God. Protesters are starting to throw rocks. We're going to get away from the scene right now, Judy. Okay, Michelle, you take care of yourself. I'm going to let her get off the phone. Yeah. So what's happened here is you watch as the mob surrounds those vehicles. And there's a really important piece of that audio that I want to dwell on. That local reporter said something that really stood out to me. Chicago police showed up. yesterday and intervened as they were watching their fellow federal law enforcement officers under attack, under attack. So you get these crazy rioters, this mob attacking federal law enforcement, Chicago police said we're not going to stand it. Now, did that order come from
Starting point is 00:09:03 the top that these guys intervene? We don't know at this hour, but we do know that the cops just said, I'm not going to stand for this. I'm jumping in there. So thank you to the Chicago police officers who did their jobs yesterday that's an improvement over the circumstance that we were dealing with before that's where you were watching as federal law enforcement under attack and chicago police told stand down don't intervene don't intervene at all and and and just i mean for those of you watching rumbull dot com slash viz just look at the footage here mostly peaceful rocks yes thanks tick pick and mcgrowing that's what they were throwing look at the mostly peaceful rocks they were throwing at federal law enforcement who were just chasing down uh the only they just chased down
Starting point is 00:09:46 a couple of illegals who had rammed a border patrol vehicle to attack them and so the mob shows up and they begin throwing rocks at federal law enforcement these rocks not a small deal to have a rock thrown ask especially border patrol agents what's that what that's like on our southern border they call these rocking attacks rocking attacks where rocks are thrown sometimes from the Mexican side of the border at border patrol agents who are patrolling either in the intervening space or far on the American side of the border and border patrol agents have been very grievously wounded by a rock being thrown through the air sometimes struck in the head and the body gashes open wound blood it's not a small thing to be hit by a rock like this so as soon as these
Starting point is 00:10:30 dangerous projectiles get launched into the air law enforcement begins dispersing tear gas and various chemicals to try and disperse the crowd because they need to create a safe environment rapidly for law enforcement they did the right thing here and you know it's it's amazing the lies that democrats will tell about all of this the the awful governor of illinois jellybelly pritzker last night this is after this had all happened uh he said this ice is recklessly throwing tear gas into our neighborhoods and busy streets including near children and and at school and chicago police department officers the trump administration must stop their deployment of dangerous chemical weapons into the air of peaceful american communities ladies and gentlemen
Starting point is 00:11:22 you just heard my description or you saw what i played here on the video version of the program um the reason chicago police are in the vicinity of the tear gas is because they actually attempted to come to the aid of federal law enforcement so governor pritzker is once again an overweight steaming pile of deception. As he presents to this as some sort of like tyrannical behavior on the part of ice, remember what happened here. Border Patrol gets attacked. The beginning of this is border patrol gets attacked in a ramming attack.
Starting point is 00:11:56 They give chase to the assailants. They pit maneuver the car. They take the guys into custody. They're surrounded by a violent mob who begin, throwing rocks at federal law enforcement. Local Chicago police intervene to assist federal law enforcement. They dispersed the crowd with chemical agents. And guess who the villain of this story is? According to J.B. Pritzker hates law enforcement. He hates law and order. He definitely hates Trump and he enthusiastically hates you for voting for Trump in the first
Starting point is 00:12:32 place. That is the awful, awful governor of Illinois, J.B. Pritzker, as these guys are once again under attack. So this is why I have been hoping that we'll get some big announcements from the White House about Antifa, because this has to stop. These people need to be arrested. Every one of these people who are throwing rocks and trying to hurt law enforcement, they need to be face planted into the pavement, taken into custody, and then locked away. The only way you stop bad behavior, any parent knows this, the only way you stop bad behavior is as if you impose consequences on the people who are doing the bad things who are performing badly please by all means by all means j b prisker and you know what this is he's running
Starting point is 00:13:15 for president of the united states pristker thinks that because he's wealthy and because he's got a radical base who wants him to act like this uh that that combination of events will conspire to make him the president of the united states god help us god help us if he comes anywhere close to that job but that's uh that's the guy that's the guy uh so so there you go these guys once again under attack and these guys once again have our gratitude um look a lot of federal employees as dhs said here that uh that border patrol is not getting paid these ice agents plenty of dhs officials are not getting paid right now during the government shut down they have to wait to get their money um here's the thing um they're they're still working they still
Starting point is 00:14:01 have to they still have to go to work and and do the job so they're not you know they're not being sent home to wait for the government shutdown to conclude they're essential employees but uh the president is doing everything he can right now to make sure that the men and women who serve our country so well do get paid um we got an update on that as it relates to the military the president of the United States has successfully paid the military this week. They're getting their paychecks. I think they started coming in yesterday and today. And that's great news. They found money for that. And the president said yesterday that in fact, there was an offer that he got from a very rich person. Some rich billionaire, of course, has to be a billionaire, contacted him and said,
Starting point is 00:14:48 hey, if you don't have the money, I can front it for you. I can pay the troops for you during this period just to make ends meet. Listen to the president cut seven yesterday at the White House describing a very generous offer. You have the money to pay the troops on October 15. Okay. I actually have a man who is a very wealthy person who know that when I tell you this who called a donor a great gentleman and he said if there's any money necessary shortfall for the paying of the troops, that I will pay it, meaning he will pay it. How about that? I said, look, we're not going to need it. We're going to take care of our troops, but this was a position that's being forced upon us by Democrats.
Starting point is 00:15:40 Okay, I'm going to say one thing with utter certainty. That wasn't George Soros. Soros do not offer to pay the troops. That was not the phone call. I can promise you that. We don't know who it was, but we know it was in Soros. There's some speculation that it was Elon Musk, who may have done that. I do feel like Elon might have tweeted that particular detail or posted it to X, whatever we're calling that these days. And if that was his offer, somebody made the offer. And whoever that person is, I just want to say on behalf of the rest of the country, thank you. Thank you for that generosity.
Starting point is 00:16:15 The president says, we don't need it. I saw some people did crunch the numbers on that. What would that cost to pay? all of the troops in a single two-week pay period. What would the cost of that be? The answer to that is apparently $6.6.6 billion. $6.6 billion. Now, Chad, and do any of you have $6.6 billion lying around?
Starting point is 00:16:39 Anybody? By the way, if you do, could you please make a contribution to a couple of free Rumble premium subscriptions for the chat? If you could just gift, you know, just say 100 Rumble premium subscriptions, that would be nice. six billion dollars yeah i don't i don't really know anybody who's got that kind of money i mean i know they exist i i'm just i'm just not friends with them they're friends with trump though there are friends with the president of the united states he called and he said yeah we could
Starting point is 00:17:08 we could front that that's really nice anyway so thank you it is and it's and it's and you know what's nice it's a good reminder that there are people of means uh who who have done very well in life who've been blessed, who turn around and they love our country. And in the midst of this fight, as Democrats keep the government shut down, in order to juice their delusional no-kings protests, that there are very good people out there who are saying, you know what, let them do whatever they want. We're going to keep this country going, whatever it takes.
Starting point is 00:17:41 And that definitely includes paying our military. Yeah, and that, yeah, Rub McGrathen, it wasn't Bill Gates. Yeah, there's a couple of things we can say with certainty. Bill Gates didn't offer this. Wait a second. Hold on. Anita McGroin. Is Anita McGroin a billionaire?
Starting point is 00:17:58 We didn't realize this? Anita McRoyne is making it rain right now in our chat. Rumble premium gifts are being given at the moment by Anita McRoyne. That's, Anita McGrath. Okay, I think what we can do, everybody, is conclude this story with the following. The great Anita McRoyne was very likely the person who just offered to pay the troops. six point six billion dollars a round of applause for anita anita thank you unbelievably generous unbelievably generous thank you anita oh that's isn't that what a what a nice treat we live in a
Starting point is 00:18:35 great country anita's a great person thank you anita very much all right more ahead on the program uh we've we've got a lot to get to we have a major supreme court uh oral argument today it has a big implication for the country very big implication for the country we've got Charlie Kirk's Medal of Freedom Ceremony, which is, which was wonderful at the White House yesterday. And, oh, and I've got, I've got more from PsychoGate. Yeah, Katie Porter, the leading candidate for governor, is trying to talk her way out of PsychoGate right now.
Starting point is 00:19:08 Will it work? We'll explore. It's all ahead on this edition of Vince. Hey, every so often something happens that reminds the rest of us, just how fragile our freedoms are. And we can't afford to take our rights for granted. We must draw a line in the sand. And our friends at Patriot Mobile have been doing that for 12 years.
Starting point is 00:19:25 The truth is, there's really just one provider that boldly stands in the gap for Americans who believe freedom is worth fighting for. And that is Patriot Mobile. Not only are they leading the red economy, they're also outpacing the competition in technology. Patriot Mobile is one of the only carriers offering premium access to all three major U.S. networks, giving you nationwide coverage and service that you can count on. Use the promo code Vince for a free month of service. That's patreonmobile.com slash Vince or call 972 Patriot. make the switch today that's right patriot mobile patriot mobile thank you to patriot mobile okay there's a there's a big case happening today
Starting point is 00:20:28 in fact there's oral arguments taking place as we are speaking live this morning in the united states supreme court and it revolves around the the law in question is the voting rights act but i'll just let me be even more explicit than this what the the case today before the court is very simply, are Democrats allowed to rig elections by using racial prejudice as a way to draw congressional districts? It's as simple as that. That really is the case before the court today. Can they use your race as a way to draw a congressional district around you? Yes or no? Well, for those of us who grew up in America, especially in this century, we've, we should,
Starting point is 00:21:17 know that the Constitution forbids this type of treatment, that people should not be treated based on their skin color, that the system should be fair for everyone without any racial prejudice whatsoever. And yet today, we have a Supreme Court case about that very subject because we're not quite there yet. Democrats refuse to get there. Today, it's all about race-based redistricting. How do we draw congressional districts in the United States? How do we dole out seats within Congress? And can districts be drawn in such a way that are dedicated to the skin color of the people who live within the districts? Sean Fleetwood for the federalist this week writes about the case that's being argued in the Supreme Court. He says in a race-based
Starting point is 00:22:03 redistricting battle, Louisiana is urging the Supreme Court to uphold America's colorblind constitution. Colorblind. That's the way that this should be conducted. Is the use of race in the redistricting process unconstitutional? The answer to that should obviously be yes, but let's explore the legal fight here. That's a key question that the court is considering today in a pair of high-profile cases that are being argued, known as Louisiana versus Calais and Robinson v. Calais. The matters provide the court with the opportunity to end long-standing conflicts between the Constitution and race-centric voting provisions that have plagued states and the redistricting process for decades.
Starting point is 00:22:44 The Louisiana Attorney General is called Liz Merle, and she said that she believes that these cases are, quote, good vehicles for the Supreme Court to address some of these issues that have been percolating for a very long time. This goes down to the origins of this particular dispute dates back to spring of 2022. That's when the Louisiana legislature drafted a congressional map with a single black majority district. This prompted a group of plaintiffs represented by the left, like the ACLU, to so. saying that the map, quote, diluted black voting strength and therefore violated Section 2 of the 1965 Voting Rights Act. All right, I want you to contempl, I want you to think about that phrase for a moment, black voting strength. Do all black people vote the same way? What's the answer to that question is quite obviously, no, they don't. Do all Hispanic people
Starting point is 00:23:41 vote the same way? No, they don't. Do all white people vote the same way? No, they don't. So what is this? Now, is it true that black voters right now are majority in the United States, just as a matter of averages, likely to support Democrats?
Starting point is 00:24:01 The answer to that is yes, that is true. And that's what's at stake here. Democrats like using their belief that black votes can be taken for granted as Democrat votes, as a way to draw congressional maps in order to try and guarantee Democrat members of Congress. Now, the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the thing that they're debating right now, the whole reason we had to pass a Voting Rights Act of 1965 was because Democrat states were imposing
Starting point is 00:24:35 Jim Crow laws on black Americans in the early 1900s. The Voting Rights Act was a way to prevent the sins of the sins of racial prejudice from being employed against people to try and deny them the right to vote. Since then, Democrats have so mutilated and distorted the original purpose of the Voting Rights Act, which was to stop their abuses, they've created more abuses under the guise of the Voting Rights Act. Now they judge voters and districts based on the skin color of the people who live within those districts in order to try and guarantee long-term Democrat power. It's all about election rigging.
Starting point is 00:25:16 That's it. That's the whole thing. So today, as the United States Supreme Court debates this, God willing, they can defeat racial prejudice. That's the point. And the left is freaking out about this right now. How do I know this? Because, well, they write about it. Politico's got a piece up right now.
Starting point is 00:25:38 It's from earlier this month saying that Republicans could get 19 more House seats if this Supreme Court ruling goes down in the way of decency of constitutionality 19 more house seats for Republicans if if if the election system is unrigged because of the racial prejudice left Democrats have been using and now I will say that this number is likely I saw see people using Dan's a great expression bullshitico this this is likely bullshit that it'd be 19 more Republican house seats because Here's where that number comes to us from. That calculation was made in a new report from an organization called Fair Fight Action
Starting point is 00:26:22 and Black Voters Matter Fund. Fair Fight Action is Stacey Abrams's group in Georgia. That's Stacey, Stacey Abrams, the lunatic who thinks that she's actually the governor of Georgia. That's her number. They came up with that. Also, the Black Voters Matter fund, you can tell that's out of the BLM, activists of the left so these are these organizations are lefty organizations they they put these numbers forward that oh republicans are getting at 19 more house seats if the supreme court ends racial
Starting point is 00:26:56 segregation ends racial prejudice um then uh that's their number so in other words like that's their pessimistic take on events but one way or another i'm telling you however this settles out you can't draw districts based on skin color districts look if a community is predetermined nominally one skin color and they happen to also be like a cohesive town okay so the district is majority black or majority Hispanic whatever it's a town it's a it's a coherent thing that should be a congressional district you should draw it based on is this a real community but you should not draw it based on hey what's the skin color of the people within the district let's carve it up so we can guarantee more democrat seats no that's actually forbidden and today
Starting point is 00:27:44 the Supreme Court justices have an opportunity to smack this crap down. So this is a massive, massive case with big implications for the country, important ones, and you should know about it, which is why, of course, we're talking about it. That's what we do here on this edition and every edition of Vince. I've got a lot more to get to. Let's get to the Charlie Kirk Medal of Freedom Ceremony at the White House yesterday. Starting point is 00:31:59 Erica Kirk is there, his beautiful widow, dressed in all black. United States Marine hands the Medal of Freedom to the President. The President brings the Medal of Freedom in a beautiful case. over to Erica Kirk the crowd applauds a touching moment a sweet gesture and a real demonstration of this
Starting point is 00:32:20 country's gratitude to the role that Charlie Kirk has played in making it a better place to live thank you Charlie what a nice what a nice thing for the president to do and the president himself as you know he's been very busy he's been working on world peace
Starting point is 00:32:35 something that Charlie was very eager to see the president do. And he had to rush back from his trip to Israel and Egypt just to be able to make this ceremony. The president said that there had been some conversation about changing the date of it to accommodate his own busy schedule. But he said when he realized that this was Charlie's birthday, he said he really had no choice he had to be back for it. Here's the president yesterday saying he raced home to do this. As you know, only hours ago, I returned from a very historic trip to secure peace in the Middle East. People said that couldn't be done.
Starting point is 00:33:10 Charlie felt it could be done. Charlie felt it could be done. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you very much. But I raised back halfway around the globe. I was going to call Erica and say, Erica, could you maybe move it to Friday?
Starting point is 00:33:37 And I didn't have the courage to call. But you know why I didn't call? Because I heard today was Charlie's birthday. And I said, you know, now we, that was a definite. And I said, we're going to have to forget about some of those very big, very rich countries that expected me to be there. And I can tell you, based on the length of that flight, I wouldn't want to go back tomorrow. But I would not have missed this moment for anything in the world.
Starting point is 00:34:04 Nothing. what a nice what a nice remark and what a nice effort that the president has undertaken that medal of freedom just so so people know is the first medal of freedom to ever have a cross inscribed on the back of it they actually were able to engrave a cross right on the back of it and it says charles jame kirk guys can you pull my screen up i just want people to see this the back of the presidential medal of freedom here is erika kirk holding you it in the image again um a cross for jesus christ and charles james kirk james kirk inscribed on the back of it um just really nice uh thing and a nice gesture by the white house as uh they give her this wonderful gift yeah he is the isn't he the greatest the chat saying man this guy's such a great president he really thoughtful too they really they kind of they don't leave any detail out they really think through all the details i i stink at planning things i like I put things together. I forget so much.
Starting point is 00:35:07 And this White House, they just really think through all the details. So thank you to the president of the United States for being so attentive to that. And it's a sign of how much they love the guy. They really do. And we have a great country. That video, by the way, I believe was captured by Benny Johnson, who's great. So thank you to Benny
Starting point is 00:35:24 for getting that video of Erica Kirk showing people the back of the Medal of Freedom. Erica Kirk was wonderful, as usual. She said that this cross is the perfect. birthday gift for Charlie. Take a look at this. Honestly, President Trump, I have spent seven and a half years trying to find the perfect birthday gift for Charlie. And it's so difficult. And those of you that have spouses or loved ones, you know how difficult it is sometimes to buy a gift for someone that you love.
Starting point is 00:35:54 Because he wasn't a materialistic man, so that also did not help. But now I can say with confidence, Mr. President, that you have given him the best birthday gift. he could ever have yeah beautiful beautiful so sad that um that he's gone but but erika kirk erika kirk has been so impressive through all of this she has just been an extraordinary demonstration of what it means to be a devoted wife and in his death she is she has become as fierce and as determined as ever which i love um erika kirk Eric also said that she kind of, she acknowledged a reality about Charlie, which is that Charlie was a prayerful man, and that he prayed for his enemies, yes. And he looked back, and she looked
Starting point is 00:36:46 back at President Trump, as almost as if she was inviting him to start doing the same thing. Here's Erica Kirk yesterday in a light and touching moment. God, when it was costly, but that's what we're called to do. Surprisingly enough, he did pray for his enemies, which is very important. very hard but he did he did I he did no one else I mean I saw him do it no he never did it in front of anyone else but I can attest about but he also loved people when it was inconvenient and he ran his race with endurance and he kept the faith and now he wears the crown of a righteous martyr now he wears the crown of a righteous martyr
Starting point is 00:37:34 I love the president when she looks back at him and she goes, yeah, he prayed. Charlie prayed for his enemies. She looks back at the president and he smiles and he kind of shrugs like, all right, fine. He's better than me. He's a good person. It was funny. That's what the crowd was laughing at. And it was great.
Starting point is 00:37:51 It was just wonderful. There's a lot of love there in that Rose Garden yesterday as so many of Charlie's great friends and admirers gathered together to celebrate him. Erica also called on all of Americans to embody the medal of freedom that was given to Charlie yesterday. Charlie's not here to wear that medal, but the rest of us are here to live out its values. Listen to Erica. This is a commissioning. And my message is simple.
Starting point is 00:38:19 I want you to be the embodiment of this medal. I do. I want you to free yourself from fear. I want you to stand courageous. religiously in the truth, listen for the still, small voice of God. And remember that while freedom is inherited in this country, each of us must be intentional stewards every single day. God began a mighty work through my husband, and I intend to see it through.
Starting point is 00:38:53 And the torch is in our hands now. It's in mine. It's in yours. It's in all of yours. It's in all the students with Turning Point USA. we inherit freedom but it is not guaranteed it is our job to maintain it we have an obligation to keep the flame of liberty burning in the united states of america that's the role that charlie played in his life and so when she talks about the medal of freedom and what it implies for the rest of us
Starting point is 00:39:21 well yeah we should all live lives that comport to making this country a better place we've got to do that boy she's good isn't she good she's very good really talented and thoughtful speaker finally she shared a birthday message from their daughter these poor children i i keep wondering what do they know about this they're so young erika shared a birthday message from their daughter she she asked their daughter um what would you like daddy to have for his birthday and here's what their daughter said and before i close i'll share with you that i asked our daughter what she would like to say to daddy for his birthday Excuse me.
Starting point is 00:40:09 She said, Happy birthday daddy. I want to give you a stuffed animal. I want you to eat a cupcake with ice cream. And I want you to go have a birthday surprise. I love you, that's what she said. And while our son, he's precious, he can't yet speak. In classic Kirk family fashion, his actions spoke louder than his words,
Starting point is 00:40:49 and his gift to you, Charlie and myself, for that matter, was deciding to become the man of the house and be fully potty trained at 16 months. But Charlie, baby, I know that you're celebrating. in heaven today but gosh i miss you it's got to be so tough it's got to be so tough charlie's family was there yesterday his parents were there i hadn't really seen his parents throughout this process and there were photos of them standing there as they honored charlie and uh my my sense is that erika's got a great support group around her doing everything they can to help her but, you know, as any widow knows,
Starting point is 00:41:33 as anybody who's lost a loved one who's very close to them knows, you know, that journey is tough. That journey is very, very tough. And Erica, under the circumstances, is meeting this moment magnificently. So God bless her. Thank you to the President of the United States
Starting point is 00:41:48 for honoring Charlie Kirk in the way that you have and for using Charlie's passing as an invitation for the rest of us to try and, you know, double down on our resolve to make the country great. It's a really big deal. At any rate, thank you. What a nice event.
Starting point is 00:42:05 I see somebody in the chat pointing out, Mary Margaret Ollahan was there. Yeah, we had Mary Margaret on the program yesterday. She's the White House correspondent for the Daily Wire, and she was there yesterday at the ceremony celebrating alongside so many people. There were a lot of well-known conservative media figures there. People were close to Benny, certainly all of the people. It's not Benny. Benny Johnson was there close to Charlie, I meant to say.
Starting point is 00:42:27 Benny Johnson was there close to the people who were part of the Charlie Kirk show there. And then, of course, like a lot of the, you know, my longtime friend, former boss, Tucker Carlson was there and Jesse Waters and Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity and Megan Kelly. They were all taking pictures together. Glenn Beck was there. So the world. And by the way, not everybody lives in Washington. People are all across the country. They all fly in for this.
Starting point is 00:42:54 They were very serious about honoring Charlie. It was a really nice gesture. So anyway, it was, that was great to see. Thank you, thank you, thank you to the president of the United States. Now, also thank you to Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Marco Rubio did something I thought was really great yesterday. And that was to start kicking out of the country, all of these idiot visa holders who rooted on Charlie's death or somehow celebrated his assassination. It's just utterly contemptible that this has been taking place.
Starting point is 00:43:30 And here's what happened yesterday. The United States, the Department of State posted the following to social media. The United States has no obligation to host foreigners who wish death on Americans. The State Department continues to identify visa holders who celebrated the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk. Here are just a few examples of aliens who are no longer welcome in the United States. And they give us, hopefully they give us examples. They say there's an Argentine national who said that, her quote devoted his entire life spreading racist xenophobic misogynistic rhetoric and deserve
Starting point is 00:44:01 to burn in hell visa revoked the department of state revoked the visa for this idiot and said no you don't get to stay here being here in the united states is a privilege goodbye you're disgusting you're a disgrace you don't fit in here go you reject our country well then we reject you the department of state also saying a south african national mocked americans grieving the of Kirk saying, quote, they're hurt that the racist rally ended in attempted martyrdom and alleged, quote, he was used to astroturf a movement of white nationalist trailer trash. Oh, well, guess what happens? Visa revoked. Goodbye. A Mexican national said that Kirk died, quote, being a racist. He died being a misogynist and stated that, quote, there are people who
Starting point is 00:44:51 deserve to die. There are people who would make the world better off dead. Visa revoked a Brazilian national charge that Charlie Kirk was the reason for a Nazi rally where they marched in homage to him and that Kirk quote died too late visa revoked what else a German national celebrated Kirk's death attempted to justify his murder writing quote when fascists die Democrats don't complain visa revoked a Paraguayan national charge that Charlie Kirk was a son of a bitch, and he died by his own rules. Visa rev revoked. You are out of the country.
Starting point is 00:45:34 The president of the United States, Secretary Marco Rubio, will defend our borders, our culture, and our citizens by enforcing our immigration laws. Aliens who take advantage of America's hospitality while celebrating the assassination of our citizens will be removed. Get out is the message. Get out. Now, I've noticed that there are some people who consider themselves to be free speech absolutists, that the first, saying that the First Amendment is somehow conferred upon foreign nationals who say vile things about the people of this country and root against the culture of this country. That is not true. I don't know where do these people come up with this stuff. No, when you are here on a visa in the United States of America, you are here with the blessing and permission of the American people. And if you root for the destruction of the American people, we have every right to revoke your visa and say, actually, you're not the kind of person that's welcome in our country.
Starting point is 00:46:33 It's very different. Then, look, the United States Constitution is designed to protect, to the utmost, the rights of American citizens. Now, are there foreigners who become the beneficiaries of some of the protections of the Constitution? Sure, in limited ways. That does happen. For instance, if you commit a crime in our country,
Starting point is 00:46:51 you're afforded due process rights, definitely, because we have a system of justice that makes fairness the most important quality. Has the left done things to diminish that? Absolutely. But yes, you will be the beneficiary of the rights that are granted to people who are within our borders. But it doesn't mean that every protection of the Constitution is yours. You're not an American citizen. So, for instance, I'll give you a really clear example, one that most, that I don't know anybody you can disagree with unless you're some insane Democrat on the Hill. Illegal aliens don't receive welfare benefits in the United States.
Starting point is 00:47:22 they're not supposed to democrats are often trying to make that happen without out of sight of you but it is illegal for federal welfare benefits to go to illegal aliens now why is that because it's common sense why would we give federal taxpayer benefits to illegals people who are not supposed to be here people were not entitled to them now are those illegal aliens protected by the 14th amendment of the constitution equal protection under the law anybody who's here gets everything no they're not we don't extend 14th amendment equal protections to illegal aliens in order for them to take welfare that's insane try that in court see what that does in front the supreme court and the same is true of people who express insane opinions who are here as a privilege in the united states on a visa
Starting point is 00:48:08 if you come in here and you root on the death of american citizens then a state department with two brain cells to rub together should know that you should have your visa revoked and your ass should be kicked out of the country so they are getting what they do deserve. This amounts to winning. And our immigration system, you know, however you come into the country, should be done with a shared priority because the immigrant wants to come here because they want to benefit from being in the United States. Fine, I understand your incentive structure. Our incentive structure needs to be, do you improve our country? We welcome you if you benefit us. That's the system. That's the system. This is a bargain we're making. We're not
Starting point is 00:48:50 rolling over we're not kicking the doors open we're not saying anybody come in if you come in you assimilate you integrate into the country you join it you become a productive member of it and that's the means by which you get in otherwise stay out and if you're here already we'll take you out thank you to the state department for doing this you know it's crazy that um that it takes this much like it's just crazy that it's taken this long to be this sensible isn't it and this administration has demonstrated a lot of common sense a lot of it okay let me see i there's boy i i'm telling you what i've got so much i want to get to today i don't want to miss out on anything so let me let me try and do some rapid fire here there's a politico report
Starting point is 00:49:39 democrats so here's something there's something going on here democrats are the winning that i'm describing is driving democrats crazy because they cannot find scandals to wrap their arms around they are struggling to find real scandals to smear trump with so what they are relying on is what nancy pelosi calls the wrap-up smear and the wrap-up smear is very basic it's basically the left lodges some sort of fictional or unrelated complaint against the people that they hate in the hopes that it sticks and then somehow voters will hold them accountable for things that they didn't do or distortions about their record so we just got a version of this this yesterday. And it comes to us from what you guys were calling earlier, as Dan calls it,
Starting point is 00:50:27 bullshitico, politico. And this is the story. You ready? You're ready for this is super dramatic. So just prepare yourself for how crazy this is. Here's the headline on it. I love Hitler, is the headline. I love Hitler. Leaked messages expose young Republicans' racist chat. Okay? And so the piece revolves around a number of apparently young Republicans. Young Republicans is an organization, I guess primarily based out of New York in this case, where you had these young people who have none of whom I've ever heard of. I have no idea who these people are, candidly.
Starting point is 00:51:09 And I've been in and around conservative politics on conservative media for a long time. I have no idea who any of these people are. but Politico's insisting that they are the epicenter of the Republican Party. This is what they're trying to imply, that somehow that this is everybody. And what you read is a bunch of, this is a group chat that these guys were having privately amongst themselves where they were saying stuff like, I love Hitler. Now, clearly anybody who writes that, I mean, that has to be some sort of dark, insane joke. But they're edge lords.
Starting point is 00:51:37 They're people who are just edge lording each other. They're trying to be as dark as they possibly can. And if you read through these things, you're like, is that, is that, Was that a racist comment? Flatly. There's flatly racist, bigoted garbage in this. But again, I'm wondering what the hell does this have to do with anything, candidly, with anything, with the rest of us? So Politico goes out of its way to write this big scandalous story, and they try and link it to the Trump administration. And in fact, they say there was one person who was apparently on the receiving end of these chats who works at the small business administration. One person in the chat works in the Trump administration.
Starting point is 00:52:19 He serves as a senior advisor in the office of general counsel within the U.S. Small Business Administration. But here's the thing about that part of the story. You ready for this? That person did not have much to say in the chat, but he didn't offer any pushback against the offensive rhetoric in it either. He declined to comment. That's the scandal that this guy was ignoring his group chats. Do you know how many group chats I get put on that I don't even want to be a part of? And then I'm like, maybe one day I'll go and check what the hell these people are talking about.
Starting point is 00:52:52 You're really trying to create a scandal here? Talk about a bunch of garbage. And so what you're witnessing right now, as is typical, is the media has suddenly found a bunch of text messages that they're interested in. And they involve unknown, so-called young Republicans who are trying to out-edge lord each other. Now, if you had one of these Democrats in front of you who was saying, I'm so scandalized by this. Here's a simple question. Name one person in this text chain.
Starting point is 00:53:21 Name one. Go ahead. I'll wait. No, no, no, no, no, no. Just name one. I don't know who any of these people are. Nobody knows who any of these people are. It's completely irrelevant.
Starting point is 00:53:34 Yeah. We have no idea who the hell these people are. Meanwhile, the leading candidate for Attorney General in the Commonwealth of Virginia, or at least up until recently, the leading candidate, the Democrat, J. Jones, has texted that he wants two bullets in the head of his Republican political opponent. Two bullets.
Starting point is 00:53:55 And there is, there are media crickets about this question. Two bullets to the head of Todd Gilbert, the former Speaker of the House. He also suggested that he wanted to see Todd Gilbert's kids die in order to change political outcomes in the state of Virginia. nobody cares nobody cares now on the left jd vans has weighed in on all of this he's he's noticed the ridiculousness of all of this uh and he wrote the following on x last night quote this meaning what j jones said is far worse than anything said in a college group chat and the guy
Starting point is 00:54:32 who said it could become the attorney general of virginia i refuse to join the pearl clutching when powerful people call for political violence. That's why that man deserves to be the vice president of the United States. He is not falling for that ship. He's not falling for it. Does this excuse people acting poorly? No, you should comport yourself well. Remember that the internet is a constant record of everything you do.
Starting point is 00:55:01 Try to be the best version of yourself, including in private, always. But should this be used as some sort of. broad smear against Republicans everywhere, this random political garbage? No, it's insane. So any Republican who falls for this crap, who plays by their rules, who says, yeah, go ahead, stab me some more. You're a psychopath. You're a psychopath. You're a masochist. And J.D. Vance is saying, I'm not playing this game. So Vice President Vance instantly detecting the tremendous amount of horseshit that's at play here and calling it out. So good for the vice president of the United States, really very good.
Starting point is 00:55:42 Okay, one more thing for you today that I wanted to get to because I can't resist. I can't PsychoGate continues. You know, Katie Porter, she's the leading candidate for governor in the state of California. She's a crazy person. She treats everybody around her like crap. She treats interviewers like crap. She treats her staff like crap. She doesn't think the voters are worth a thing.
Starting point is 00:56:03 She believes in abortion to solve inflation. She said every possible psychotic thing you could possibly imagine in public and certainly in private. And here she is trying to rescue her failing candidacy right now. She just did an interview yesterday where she's pretending to be contrite. This is with Nextar. She sits down for an interview. She's pretending to be contrite. Now, pay attention to this because you can tell that she tried practicing it before she sat down for the interview.
Starting point is 00:56:33 And she's leaning into a speech pattern that she doesn't normally use. And the speech pattern here is uptalk. Uptalk is when you end each sentence in a higher register than you started it in. And usually it's a very clear sign of insecurity, a very clear sign. And so what ends up happening here is Katie Porter tries to uptalk her way out of PsychoGate. Take a look at this. Should California voters feel confident that there aren't any more Katie Porter videos out there? Well, what I know is that I could have done better in those moments.
Starting point is 00:57:07 I'm going to be focused on earning their votes and earning their trust. That's true in every election. I've only ever had tough elections. So I'm absolutely aware that I'm going to have to continue to show them. I'm going to have to answer every question. I'm glad I got to continue that interview and finish that interview and answer all her questions. And that's what I'm going to continue to do. But not just the CBS interview, the interview with the staffer.
Starting point is 00:57:28 Can voters be confident that there won't be another one of those videos that's going to come to light? What I do know is that I could have done better. situation. But that's not a no. So is there potentially another video that we're going to see? Nikki, I'm going to be honest with you. I know that that video and that video was several years ago, as you know, and apologize to the staffer. That's super important to me. And we'll continue to try to hold myself to do better. That's what I can promise. But not that there's not going to be any more videos because that's what people are wondering. Are we going to see something else like that? I can tell you what I've told you
Starting point is 00:58:06 which is that I'm taking responsibility for this situation and I'm also not going to back down from fighting back for California from being tough I don't think this is a moment where the same old is going to cut it but that doesn't change the fact
Starting point is 00:58:22 that I what I did to that staffer was wrong I've acknowledged it wrong to her she just keeps going it's so crazy are you listening to this shit oh my gosh she's unreal And imagine how angry she is. My favorite part of that interview is she has to control her normally unbridled rage.
Starting point is 00:58:42 She can't, so you know what's playing out in Katie Porter's head as she's doing this? She's, I just want to grab this woman by the throat, and I want to dislodge her trachea. I want to pop her head off of her body. I want to choke slam this lady for daring to ask me these questions. And she's doing, you know what the interviewer is doing? The interview is doing my favorite thing to do to Katie Porter, follow-ups. She's asking follow-ups, and Katie Porter is just struggling to keep her head above water. I love it.
Starting point is 00:59:14 I think the whole thing is so freaking funny. It's unreal. At any rate, we'll keep following the PsychoGate saga because it's hysterical. And I'm going to do everything I can to help the good Californians here. We have to. We've got to help our brothers and sisters in California. You know, that Golden State needs to become golden. again we are living in the golden age of america after all thanks for joining me today on
