Here's a 2021 staple, my fireworks with geraldo rivera my weekly
fireworks this is one where he tried to throw a piece of paper at the camera i don't know if he
realized like it's not going to come through the other side of the camera this isn't like
an episode of the twilight zone check this out get ready to hear the truth about America on a show that's not immune to the facts with your host, Dan Bongino.
Being stupid has a price,
and the price is paid by you.
What does this have to do with my battle
with Geraldo last night,
or as my mother-in-law calls him, Geraldo?
Because he just doesn't know anything,
and he keeps going on the air
and saying things that he doesn't know anything. And he keeps going on the air and saying things that he doesn't know
and misinforming people who then believe what he says.
That's a problem.
He did it on the police issue.
Every time there's a police shooting and I'm on the air debating,
I'm not every time, but unfortunately a lot of the time,
he goes on the air and says something about,
there are black moms crying because they're well
if you know losing your child i would cry too but what he does is he introduces race into these
police use of force incidents when he has no evidence whatsoever that any of the incidents
we debate on tv are in fact motivated by racism so why bring racism into it the answer is because
you want to misinform people he did it last night in israel
again as you know the palestinian children being killed yes folks that's a tragedy no
one wants to see a child killed you'd have to be a maniac but bringing emotion into it
does not solve the problem of why there is a potential war brewing in the Middle East.
There's a why.
And the why is very simple.
Because a terror group called Hamas decided it would be a good idea to launch rockets into Israel.
That's why.
For those of you who missed it,
here's about a minute of my appearance last night.
You know what?
Wait, before I get to that, before I get to that,
this is important. I don't want to go out of order here because it is critical. We do this the right
way. Remember the theme of the show today. Liberals live in an alternate reality. It's not real as
real world effects. When they do stupid stuff, there's an article Bongino dot com written by
resident fact checker Matt Palumbo. I want you to check it out, please. It'll be in my newsletter
today. It's very informative.
Survey finds conservative media viewers are more informed than liberals on important topics.
Folks, read the article.
I'm not going to do the whole thing.
It's up at my website, Bongino.com.
It's an amazing piece.
People who watch Fox News and conservative media
know a whole lot more than liberals who watch msnbc on coronavirus
police shootings israel the national debt tax rates health care and gun violence we just know more
there are facts how many people are are killed with ar-15 rifles every year liberals don't know
conservatives do what's the percentage of Americans That don't have healthcare
Liberals don't know
Conservatives do
What's the national debt
Liberals don't know
Conservatives do
How many people have died from coronavirus
Liberals don't know
Conservatives do
You get the point
Because we tune into media outlets
To tell the truth
When you tune into people outlets to tell the truth.
When you tune into people like, well, play the Al Sharpton thing,
Al Sharpton, Geraldo, and others who don't know anything,
it's no wonder that liberals who listen to some of these folks out there are misinformed on the topics.
Here's a quick clip of my appearance with him last night on Hannity, Geraldo,
where, again, I have to correct his misinformation about what's actually going on in Israel because then liberals will believe it and
they'll want to start a war with Israel. Check this out. There are dozens of Palestinian children
dead with ammunition provided to Israel by the United States without even a demand for a cease
fire. I demand a cease fire. I demand my president to demand a ceasefire.
Israel needs to win the war against terrorism
and terrorists that are firing rockets at their people.
Let's kill them all.
Let's kill all these children.
Dan.
Peraldo, you do this every time.
This is such garbage, and I'm really getting sick of it.
You play this emotional
game with the audience and use your position of responsibility to put out misinformation
and BS.
You know, stop attacking me, punk.
You did it on the police thing.
Address the issue.
You did it on the police thing again.
You had the guts to address the issue and not address it.
You just, this is not about me.
You can't control yourself, can you?
You didn't come on this show to attack me.
You can't control yourself.
You came on the show to talk about the issue.
No, it isn't about you.
Because again, you're using your position of authority here to say things that are absolutely
outrageous.
Geraldo, let him talk.
You're an uncontrolled lunatic.
Geraldo, let him talk.
Because you can't go on the air.
I'm an out of control lunatic.
Can you calm down?
Yeah.
You really need to calm down.
I'm a 10-time Emmy winner with deep experience in the Middle East.
Have you ever even been there?
I want to make my point, Sean.
Again, you see what happens?
He goes to the emotional argument right away.
It's about the Palestinian children.
Doesn't mention the Israeli children that would probably be killed if Israel didn't have the Iron Dome,
preventing 3,000 somewhat Hamas rockets from destroying Israel.
He doesn't mention that at all.
He goes right to the emotion.
And when you try to correct him on the issue, he goes right to the ad hominem attack.
And folks, I don't mind.
I'm nobody's victim.
I really don't mind at all.
Okay?
I don't mind.
He's allowed to do what he has to do.
Let him do his thing.
But he goes right to the ad hominem.
You're a punk.
Starts throwing paper, whatever.
And then he said something I didn't catch. He said something like, I was, I have 10 Emmys.
Oh my Emmy. Gosh, I wish I had 10 Emmys. It's really funny. I have 10 Emmys.
And I didn't hear him because you have to understand when you're on
television and you're screaming like a lunatic like that. Here's what I hear. You know,
Charlie Brown's teacher. That's all I hear. So I don't really hear everything Geraldo says
because he's always yelling. So at one point he said, I was a correspondent in the Middle East.
You've never been there. I bet you've never been there. Well, this is a correspondent in the Middle East. You've never been there.
I bet you've never been there.
Well, this is a text from my wife.
I didn't catch till after the appearance.
She's watching it live.
You better tell him you've been there.
I didn't hear it.
Yes, Geraldo, unlike you,
who was reporting on the security situation in the Middle East,
I was actually doing it.
Been to Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Northern Africa, Egypt.
Yes, I don't need to prove my bona fides to Geraldo,
and I wasn't there on vacation.
Geraldo was, what, taking pictures or something like that?
Geraldo lives in an alternate universe
where he feels like if you bring up a situation
and you say, well, listen, a Palestinian child was killed.
That's a tragedy.
I don't want anybody's children dead.
Nobody does.
Only savages want that.
But you divorce it from the facts of what happened
and how this started.
You see why liberals are almost every time confused about real facts.
So Geraldo, Geraldo owes me $1,000.
I haven't figured out where I'm going to donate it with, donate that to.
It's going to be some charity.
But Geraldo won't pay up because Geraldo doesn't have the dignity to pay up.
And he's too busy screaming all the time on the air.
It's really incredible how when I debate this guy on Sean Hannity show,
I patiently listened to him spout all his misinformation nonsense.
He never knows what he's talking about.
He pulls facts out of context.
Has no idea.
They're all political attacks because he's a failure.
And he doesn't let me get a sentence out before opening is,
is yapper because he has no sense of self-control.
He's like a child.
He is.
He's like an infant.
You have to, like, change his diaper once in a while.
So, again, I get a lot, and I want to repeat this because it's important.
About 80% of the comments I get are positive.
Dan, thanks for beating back all those misinformation.
But about 20%, I see no point in this.
No, I do.
And I'm sorry, but I disagree.
I do see a point going on the air and combating this guy's misinformation because he uses our Republican brand to go on the air and say things that are factually inaccurate. Or he takes a fact like he did last night, takes it entirely out of context.
And when I correct him on it, he then bets me a thousand dollars that I'm lying when he's in fact the one trying to misconstrue
what's going on in Florida and elsewhere.
What do I mean?
What happened?
Well, I want my $1,000 from this guy
because this happened last night.
We were debating and Geraldo throws out a number
about coronavirus cases in Florida.
He says 16 or 17,000 a day.
That number's meaningless, folks.
Cases doesn't mean anything
because we don't know how many cases there are.
Why?
Because that's only the people who were tested,
meaning people who probably were showing symptoms.
Candidly, Florida could have double the number of cases.
We could have a number of asymptomatic cases in New York
where people aren't getting tested.
Cases doesn't mean anything.
What we care about
here in this pandemic are hospitalizations and death. Cases doesn't mean it. It's not a metric
you can use because you don't know how many cases there are. Only the people who are really sick
are going to go get tested. I shouldn't say it's useless. It's not a useless number. More useful,
however, is hospitalizations and deaths. That's a very
serious number. Geraldo throws the case number out, never mentions the Florida deaths per capita at
all because he wants to destroy Ron DeSantis. I correct him and then he bets me, loses the bet,
and then celebrates it. Here, check this out. Geraldo doesn't know about Ron DeSantis. He
doesn't know the numbers. I live here. Florida is 26 in COVID deaths per hundred. Dan,
it's not my fault. You never know what you're talking
about. It's not my fault that you never research
anything before you come on the air. You are so full of it.
That's why I hate coming on with you. Because you are such a cheap shot.
How silly this guy is.
That's why I hate coming on with you.
Folks, please look at us to prove how silly this guy is. You're a bad seven-team shot.
Geraldo, let Dan talk.
Geraldo.
Dan.
He doesn't like to do that, Sean, because he always gets caught never knowing what he's talking about.
Stick to the facts.
And he's embarrassed.
Stick to the story.
And his position on the border.
I did stick to the facts.
I'm embarrassed to be on this air with you.
That's why I'm embarrassed.
You never know them.
And then you hit.
It's unbelievable.
And your position on the board is so ridiculously incoherent.
You want to put your money where your mouth is?
You want to put your money where your mouth is?
16,000 infections.
All right, guys.
17,000.
You see what he did there?
I bring up a data point to show that Geraldo, again,
doesn't know what he's talking about ever. Never does any homework before he comes on the air. The guy's embarrassed. He really is. I'm
sorry, but he's an embarrassment. He goes on the air. He wants to attack Ron DeSantis because
Geraldo is a hardcore leftist. He pretends to be some pseudo Republican because he thinks it'll
give him street cred. The man is a hardcore open borders, attack Republicans, attack Donald Trump leftist, period.
That's not even open for debate.
The evidence is clear.
I throw out a number to him to give the debate some grounding in science.
All right, Geraldo, you're mentioning cases.
I mentioned to him, if you go back and watch there again, if you rewind the tape, that Florida is, in fact, 26th when it comes to deaths from coronavirus per 100,000 people.
To which Geraldo can't shut up, loses his mind because I throw a number at him that doesn't comport with his narrative.
His narrative, because he's a radical leftist, is what?
GOP governors suck. Joe Biden is my king.
Therefore, I'm going to use a number that sounds bad, cases, taking it entirely out of context about how Florida has performed with deaths here,
showing you I was accurate and Geraldo, in fact, owes me a thousand dollars and I'll expect the
money. I want the check written to me. I'm not even going to give my home address. I'm going
to have to send it to a P.O. box because he's that crazy. He'll probably show up.
Here's Statista, which monitors, by the way, deaths per 100,000 people.
I put the link in my newsletter today for those media people eager to defend their golden calf, Geraldo, showing you I was right and Geraldo owes me $1,000.
Statista.
I had to skip all the way to the end because it can't all fit on the screen at one time. If you go there and you look at the link in my newsletter today, Bongino.com slash newsletter,
you will see Florida is in fact 26th in deaths per capita.
Geraldo can't count, of course.
He's not a very bright guy.
Again, he probably found his numbers in the empty Al Capone's vault and is flushing them
out now for his new narrative of the day.
Now, shockingly, after losing the bet, he challenges me on my data just to be clear what happened there.
And then when he challenges me on my data because he won't let me talk because he never knows anything and he has to yell and scream like the lunatic he is.
What does he do? He changes the bet back to his 17,000 cases a day,
ignoring what I just said.
He bets me on what I just said and then changes back to what he said,
which is a fascinating way to make a bet.
That's like betting someone,
I'll bet you $1,000 the Whoppers made in Burger King.
And you say, yeah, yeah, the Whoppers made in Burger King.
And then he comes back and says, I said the Big Mac's made in McDonald's.
And you're like, wait, what?
This is how Geraldo, because he never knows anything, ever, ever.
Someone probably, you know, whispered in his ear before he came on the air,
one of his liberal buddies, hey, gosh, you know, 17,000 cases.
He doesn't understand any of the numbers in context.
Now he tweets out this morning, this complete dunce.
He says, Tuesday, Florida suffered over 17,000 cases.
On Wednesday, another 7,000 cases.
I was right.
DiBangino, as usual, was full of mm.
And he owes, I owe him a thousand dollars.
This is hilarious.
Then he attacks Ron DeSantis.
This is the kind of loser this guy is.
A total zero.
Changes the bet midstream while talking over you because he knows
he got called out. He was trying to attack DeSantis. He doesn't understand the full set of
data at all because he's Geraldo. He never knows anything about anything ever. And his positions
are totally incoherent, as evidenced by Cut 2, where he gets even more ridiculous on this segment after trying to attack Ron DeSantis
when that wasn't even what the segment was about because he's a leftist.
He's a radical, hardcore leftist.
And he's a wuss, too.
He pretends to be brave and a tough guy.
Folks, it's really pathetic.
I don't even want to get that.
It's a joke.
Like, it's embarrassing.
You blow too hard, you knock this guy over.
And he pretends to be a tough guy because he got his nose broken 30 years ago on TV.
Give me a break.
This isn't foxy boxing, okay?
Please stop before you humiliate yourself further.
Here's cut two, where Geraldo suggests, incredibly,
that we should give super rights to people
to cross our border illegally to get a vaccine.
Keeping in mind, the vaccine doesn't even kick in
antibody production for about seven to 10 to 14 days
after the first dose.
So let infected people across the border illegally,
give them a free vaccine here for doing it
and then wait and hope they don't spread it
for the seven to 10 days until
they can produce effective antibodies. This is Geraldo's logic. By the way, while you,
so we have super rights, right? Super rights for illegal immigrants that Geraldo wants.
Cross the border, free vaccines, spread the infection, do whatever you want. But he doesn't
want you to have the right to put a medicine or a treatment in your own body. He wants to force a vaccine
mandate on you. This is how crazy this guy is. Check this out. On the border, his position is
ridiculous. So let me get this straight. You want to take away the rights of American citizens
to put a medicine or a treatment in their body while simultaneously granting super rights to non-citizens who get to cross our border
and get a free vaccination.
Were you not listening?
Despite saying that.
Were you not listening?
That makes, do you want me to say something?
No, no, no.
You weren't even listening.
I heard exactly what you said.
I want everyone coming across the border to be vaccinated.
Everyone.
No, no, no, no.
Coming across the border to be vaccinated.
No, I want everyone to cross the border.
Period.
Legally first.
Why don't you cross the border?
I don't care if they cross legally or illegally. I want them vaccinated. Okay, there first. Why don't you cross the border legally?
I want them vaccinated.
Okay, there you go.
The most important thing is they get vaccinated.
So you just proved my point.
You just proved my point.
You want to grant a set of rights to non-citizens, right?
You want to allow them to walk in and out of the country
while I have to stop at a line at a passport station to come back as a citizen
while you want to take away actual
citizens rights over controlling gas lighting gas lighting medicines are going in Geraldo you
your position is so ridiculous you know this guy may have been a thing in like the 60s I don't
even know what was he like a studio 54 guy he's not a thing anymore he's like fetch okay he's
trying to make himself happen but he's not happening this guy. He's like fetch, okay? He's trying to make himself happen,
but he's not happening.
This guy is the fetch of cable news talking heads.
And please don't mistake for a minute like,
oh my gosh, he worked, they worked.
This is not some act, believe me.
I genuinely dislike this guy.
Trust me, I don't do acts.
I don't have time for it.
I don't need it.
The nice part about having the jobs I have
is I do them because I want to,
not that I need them.
I've been very smart with my money, saved my money.
I'm A-OK.
I don't need any of these jobs.
I have these jobs because I want them.
And this guy is a numbnuts.
Like I said, he was a thing back in the 40s or whenever.
He's not a thing anymore when he's not taking naked pictures of himself.
By the way, do a few push-ups before you get on the air and try to get some swole on.
Even your naked pictures that you took with your own selfies are pretty disgusting. I'll
throw that in there. Here's Geraldo, little mini totalitarian falling right in line yesterday on
the five. Geraldo's upset that according to my sources, a number of Southwest pilots object to the vaccine mandate and called in sick.
And although it wasn't the only issue involved with the Southwest Airlines cancellations, Geraldo's upset that Republican Representative Chip Roy has said, hey, listen, it's good people are standing up for freedom and against unscientific vaccine mandates.
That drives Geraldo crazy because Geraldo's a little mini totalitarian.
Geraldo also cites his Supreme Court case.
I believe he's citing the wrong year.
He doesn't know what the case,
I think he's a lawyer, says he is or whatever.
But here's Geraldo falling right in line
with his little totalitarian impulse.
Again, proving my point,
this has nothing to do with science
and it's all about control.
Check this disaster out from yesterday.
I believe that mandates exist for a reason. The Supreme Court in a 1905 decision made very clear, unless this court reverses over a century of precedents. That wasn't federal.
The federal government has the constitutional right to impose a mandate. You misread the law.
I misread nothing. I absolutely got it exactly right. No, you misread it.
They are, and these airline pilots are screwing the public.
And the worst of all is not the pilots, because I say use whatever weapons you have.
It's Chip Roy, the congressman from San Antonio and Austin.
This guy is an ideological lunatic.
He said when he looked at the crowd of people who could not get on their Southwest flights
because they were canceled and so forth, this makes me happier than I can possibly articulate.
Eat it, Southwest Airlines. This is a guy getting almost sexual pleasure from the chaos.
I'm not getting sexual pleasure.
From the chaos and the disruption.
To make this sexual, you're a sick man.
Congressman Roy, I challenge you. What did you mean when you said eat it to
southwest airlines when you said okay sexual pleasure what a weirdo this guy is huh oh my
gosh i mean i know this guy was a thing in like the 40s or something but uh he's not a thing
anymore uh what a weirdo congressman chip roy gets sexual pleasure out of calling out unscientific vaccine mandates
unscientific for two reasons um number one they don't take into account natural immunity which
geraldo is science or all those not very familiar with science not really familiar with the law
either as he kind of uh misinterprets the jacobson decision because he doesn't understand what it
means i think he's a lawyer right and uh also it's unscientific because as we've seen,
the vaccine mandate is driving down trust in vaccine programs. So it loses on both sides,
but Geraldo doesn't know that. He doesn't actually do any research. And he cites the Jacobson
decision, which was about smallpox, vaccinations for smallpox. And it was about a equivalent,
in today's money, $150 fine if you did not get the vaccine. And it was limited to that case.
Smallpox, a disease with a much higher fatality rate than coronavirus.
But, you know, it's Geraldo.
I don't expect very much from him.
He's lucky I wasn't on that panel on the five.
It would have been humiliating for him.
But you need more proof?
This is not about science.
You have people like Geraldo and Kerry Chant who don't even look up the science.
All they care about are two things.
I can't.
I'm sorry to keep beating this, beating you over the head with this.
They care about two things.
What are the approved two narratives with Geraldo and the totalitarians, Kerry Chant
and others?
Take a vaccine and shut your mouth, Geraldo.
Number two, wear a mask.
It'll solve your problems.
That's it.
You're not allowed to say anything else because both of
those require government and their visual symbols of fear in one case, the mask, and a government
mandate in the other, and they both empower totalitarians. A fear agenda and a mandate agenda.
