it before, but this is getting at this point so unbelievably toxic that the problem is, I'm not sure there's going to be an antibiotic to kill this bacteria if it starts to fester and get gangreness. And we're reaching the red line here. we're reaching the red line of we're going to have to like amputate. It's the back. You know where I'm going. You know what I'm going. Folks, it's, we're in a really bad place right now.

Something happened yesterday. I was going to go a totally different place with this show this morning. And I'm saying, because I got a really a ton of material to address between Iran and, you know, the media debacle last night on CNN of catastrophic. proportion. However, I put out a really simple tweet yesterday. The 10th was the six-month anniversary of the murder of our good friend and my good friend Charlie Kirk. So, you know, I just wanted to recognize Charlie was really a simple moment. A moment you wouldn't think would be in any way, you know, controversial at all.

I, excuse me, just indicated on X how it really was one of the saddest days of my life. I almost couldn't believe it. I know a lot of you couldn't either. And what happened afterwards, I just looked at myself and said, man, I can't believe this. I can't believe that this great movement is just devolving into this. Like I said, if this is a movement and it's not, by the way, If it were, I would want no, I would want no part of it. I'll wrap this thing up tomorrow, be like, I'm out, man. It's okay.

You know what I mean. You've seen it. So I got a lot to address today. I've got that. I've got some just stunning video, something that happened on CNN last night, that ordinarily we'd give people outside of left-wing media. You let people make a mistake and move on, but this is not a mistake. It happens all the time. And that's why the public's just done with these people and nobody trusts the media anymore. You know, sometimes I can't believe it's been six months. I mean, we all remember the day that our good friend, I say our good friend because a piece of Charlie belonged to everyone. He was a bridge between so many components of this movement. He was. He was a bridge between the younger kids. He was a bridge between some establishment folks, between some more conservative folks,

between old school hawks and some newer school doves. He just, Charlie, because Charlie had to be a bridge builder, He had an organization that appealed to a large number of people. Charlie had to learn to talk to people in a different way. Charlie had a skill. I saw this tweet up by Turning Point yesterday. Six months and still, or a couple of days ago, Charlie's vision challenges us to think bigger, stand taller,

and fight harder for the country he loved. Folks, as a part, not over exaggerating anything, but as a very close personal friend of Charlie who shared a lot of his interests, Charlie and I would talk about radio, about podcasting, about politics, about candidates. And the fact that it's been, you know, six months and just a couple days right now is just we all remember where we were. I'm going to tell you something.

I don't know how you feel. And please comment away in the chat. Jeff and then C says he absolutely would have been president one day. There are three moments in my life that stick out. I mean, stick out like I can remember the smell, the look, the sounds. When Reagan was shot, I was a kid. I was in a Buster Brown store. My mother was trying on new shoes for me.

I was putting new shoes on my. And the guy came out of the back and said, oh, my God, is exactly what? Reagan was shot. And I remember as a little kid being like, wait, what? I remember like it was yesterday. I also remember the space shuttle, Kristen McCullough.

I mean, I remember, oh, was it, Miss Gilfeather, the teacher in fifth grade, came in and said, The space shuttle just exploded. You have these moments, too. You guys have them, too, I'm sure. I mean, Jasmine, you have them, right? We all have, like, those two stick out to me.

The third was Charlie. I was sitting in my office in the Hoover Building on the seventh floor, and there's a TV in the office. And obviously, I had it on Fox. I wanted to see actual news, not fake stuff. And Sandra Smith was on. Do you guys remember? And having had a TV show on Fox myself,

the golden rule of television is you never stop talking on TV. You can stop talking on radio and play a cut because nobody knows what's going on because they can't see you. On TV, if you stop talking, everybody's staring at you and you look like this. Here, I'll even do it for a second on a podcast. It's uncomfortable here. You feel how weird that is? Sandra Smith just stopped talking.

And I saw her head go down in her hand. Now, I have the TV on mute because I'm doing a meeting about the be I was destroying a bunch of our own guns. It was like the dumbest thing I'd ever heard. And I said, wait, everybody timeout, something's going on. And I saw on the Chiron, you know, Charlie Kirk was shot. We all remember where we were. Unbelievably, that was six months ago. You know, I'm going to tell you something, however uncomfortable it is to hear. There were a lot of, there was a lot of commentary afterwards that this was going to be some unifying moment for the country that, okay, this is enough. We finally reached like a breaking point.

I'm going to tell you some. I never really thought that. Maybe for a split second, I thought, but I dispelled that. The second I went to X and saw the explosion of negativity, people cheering it on and a thousand different theories about what had happened, I knew, I just knew this was not going to be what we thought it was going to be. And that's the saddest, tragedy of all that this powerhouse who served as a bridge between so many groups of people and found these intersection points found in economics the market clearing price for an idea we could all agree on right I just knew the country was just going to explode over it so I just put out a tweet yesterday and I you know I just was acknowledging six months because I felt like it

was a right thing to do and I posted a couple of pictures and it just I could not. I was even taken aback by the explosion in bots. Not all of those bots, but at good point, you can tell. The bot comments, the negativity. Folks, we can't go on as a party like this. There's no movement that can possibly survive inside its own tent, having a cancerous, bacteria-laden postule.

There's no way. It'll absolutely consume the host. I'll address this with Sean Farrer's my guest later. But the problem we're having now, any good party, remember the, you know, Reagan 80, 20 rule, like you're never going to, not everyone in a party is going to disagree on everything. It's going to be disagreement.

That's a good thing. We're not robots. However, if I agree with you on 80% of the issues, we're in a good spot. Reagan used to say, I'll come back for the other 20 later. You may get it. you may not. But forget about the politicians in Capitol Hill, the political class.

I'm talking about us, the people who vote, the people who tune in a political podcast, who follow this stuff and live and die by the greatness of this country and making it a little bit better on the margins every single day. We agree on 80% of the stuff to 20% we disagree on. That's healthy and normal. The problem with the cancerous, bacteria-laden postule growing, on this party and it's still controllable is they spend 80% of their time attacking the rest of us who are supposed to agree with them on 80% of the issues and only 20% of the time going after

the real opponent, which is the collectivist communist left. Folks, it's a math problem. We're not going to be able to overcome if we don't cut this out soon. Now, there is still time. I know when you're on X, you think to yourself. I saw an article this morning in a mainstream outlet, but it was actually pretty accurate. The point of the article was this.

The social media world on X is not indicative of what the real world is thinking. If you just look at the data, put up that interactive polls thing I saw yesterday. Here's a perfect example. Do you approve or disapprove the way Trump is handling the situation in Iran? Maga supporters, 91% approval. Republicans in general, 83% approval. Those are super, super duper majorities. There is no unified disagreement on what's happening with Donald Trump's policy in Iran right now.

There may be if things break bad in the future. There's just not. Those are just the numbers. Yet, you go online in the social world and you're given this warp perception of what reality is. And there's a problem with that. The problem with that is then people start to tailor. It's the finger-licking approach. Let me lick my finger and see where the wind is going.

You ever play outfield in baseball? You throw grass in the air, see which direction the wind is blowing. So you know how the ball's going to move when it's up in the air? If you're a baseball player, you know what I'm talking about. Grass throwing, finger licking. The problem is they think the wind is blowing in that direction. Oh, my gosh, there's this unified support against Donald Trump right now. He's really blowing it.

That's just not true. That is just not true. At least when our movement, yes, there are a lot of Democrats and media people who hate what Donald Trump's doing. They hate everything Donald Trump's doing. Fair enough. I'm talking about within our party. This is a small minority of people. Getting back to what I was talking about before,

I wake up this morning. It was this mainstream media article piece. It was not terribly inaccurate. It was just giving raw numbers about how something like four out of five Americans are not even on social media regularly at all. So you're seeing this stuff, bots, paid influence campaigns,

and some normal people who just don't like what Donald Trump's doing. And you get this perception of it like, oh my God, this party's collapse. Everything's falling apart. Meanwhile, you see polling even on CNN. We played that Harry Anton's CNN segment last week. Donald Trump's approval rating at this point of his presidency is above George W.N. Obama, where they were with their respective parties and the voters in general.

I'm just trying to follow the advice. Was it a, is it Friedman gave to Walter Williams one time when you talk about liberty, talk about it with a smile? folks when you talk about our party talk about it with a smile we are in a good place and

the doom and gloom stuff while 20% of the time should be spent cleaning up our own party pushing the SAVE Act pushing people in a more conservative direction we should not be spending 80% of the time just beating the shit out of each other

there's an opportunity cost to that That time could be spent elsewhere. There's an opportunity cost of time. A foregone opportunity that you didn't take because you're busy attacking each other is time completely wasted. You're never going to get back. I want you to remember something, too, about these folks.

When you're listening to content out there that seems like it's agenda-driven, in other words, like this doesn't sound right. Like this guy or this woman wasn't saying this for, the last five or 10 years. I have been remarkably consistent on a lot of my policy positions. I've changed my mind on some things. I think I've been pretty honest about that based on new inputs. It's the way human beings are. But when it comes to my big ideological tent polls, I've been remarkably consistent. I don't lick my finger and see where the money is and who's saying

other people seem to be doing that. And I want you to ask yourself two questions, two important questions, when you're watching that content and something just doesn't, I hate this term like smells wrong because there's no smell to it. But everybody knows what that means. When something just smells wrong, that salmon's like three days old. Should I eat it? Ah, probably not.

When something smells wrong, there's probably something wrong. There's probably some bacteria growing in there. I want you to keep in mind these two things. I mentioned this before when reviewing content. is the content valid and is the content reliable? Because those aren't the same things. You can have a scale, forgive me if you've heard this analogy before, but it's critical, that is reliable but not valid.

How can that possibly be? Say you get on a bathroom scale in a hotel, and there's a sign on the wall, it says, this scale is off by 20 pounds. It's going to add 20 pounds. They put it on so you don't jump off the balcony because you think you're really fat or something like that, right? So you get on, I weigh like 205.

What's the scale going to say? Liberals are having a tough time with the math. Normal people are like, it's going to say 225. It's reliable. If my wife gets on and it's 100 pounds, it's going to say what? It's going to say 120, correct? That's reliable. But it's not valid.

You understand it's not valid. It's not measuring your weight. You're not 225, and my wife's not 120. It's not valid. It's not measuring your weight because that's not your weight. So when you see content in the space that is reliably wrong, but reliable, they say the same thing every time. World War III, World War III, World War III, World War III, economic crash, tariffs, gloom and doom, all the such stuff, and they are reliably wrong. They are reliable, but they're not valid because they're not actually accurate.

And folks, that has to matter. And when you see something that is reliably wrong, you've got to excise it from your movement. There is no other way. Gosh, I'm going to tell you something, man. That thing with Charlie yesterday, I've never seen anything like it. I love X and I love free speech. I put my money in my life behind it. Hell, man, I invest in a platform where people use it to shit on me all day.

Go for it, man. Go for it. That's what it's about. I'm allowed to fight back too. But I put my money into that place. I've invested in your ability to go and attack me. Can you really say the same? I am not about censorship.

I don't like boycotts against our side or anything like that. The other side, whatever, they're on the road. But the thing with Charlie, I have never seen hatred like this in my life. I mean, this is just unadulterated evil. There's a spiritual war going on right now. We're living in it right now. Charlie was an amazing guy. Everything about him was good and pure.

Can I tell you something quick? I'm not going to share any texts or anything like that. Really, that's just the wrong thing to do. Other people do your own thing. That's just not my thing. Those are meant to be two, you know, a one-way conversation, him to me and one-way back me to him. That's it.

One time Charlie wanted me to speak in an event. So whenever Charlie wanted me to speak in an event, Charlie would go through Paula. Charlie and Andrew, you know, Andrew. They would go through Paula. So Paula had almost as much interaction with Charlie and Andrew as I did because Paula is the Bongino-in queen

and she runs the schedule. So, I mean, seriously, like they knew each other as well as I knew him. There was an event one time. I'm not going to say where it was, but we had made a last-minute decision. This is not that long ago to attend a best. big event. And it was last minute. And everyone had asked us, we were going to go. We said,

no. Last minute, we changed our mind. And we wind up going. Paula walks by an event, Charlie was hosting. And she's like, man, I can't believe we weren't invited. Well, the reason we weren't invited was because we told them we weren't going. So I said, yeah, you know, he just probably didn't think we were going. But I'm talking to Charlie about a week or so later. And I just mentioned it as a joke. I'm like, yeah, Paula was, like she was a little mift we didn't get an invite to the event i swear to you i'm like laughing about it because we told me and he's like he told us you weren't going i said yeah i know do you know charlie said i swear to you i have to i'm not showing anyone i promise you was it charlie said this like

tolstoy like manifesto to paula apologizing for not inviting an event we told him we weren't going to go to when i was just joking about it because he was so concerned about how she felt he had no reason to do that nobody we didn't even really care was not that big of a deal if i ever was going to show you a text. I'd show you that one. I promise you, though, it's there. That's who he was. He had no reason to send that at all, except the fact that he really cared. He was an amazing guy, folks, an amazing guy. And it's just, I'm just asking you as a friend and one of you. I am. I'm just funny, I'm not perfect. You know, the last year of my life was very challenging. I got a bunch of people reaching out about all kinds of commentary about them.

things and it was the most simultaneously the most enjoyable and challenging part of my life at the same time. But I'm not Professor X. I'm not, you know, Magneto. I don't have any X-Men-like Marvel superpowers. I'm not the Flash on the D.C. side. I'm not George R. Binks. You get that later. I don't have any special powers, man. I'm just like a regular guy with an average IQ who just, God's blessed with an audience. That's it. And what's the most powerful superpower in the world? The ability to command attention in an audience. But that's who he was. And I'm just asking who's a friend going forward, we should really take this opportunity now that's been six months since we lost Charlie and the bridge between all the different factions

of this MAGA tent. We should really take the opportunity to reevaluate everything. Even we do. I'm going to try. I've tried to be a little bit less hostile on X. I've tried. And I'm going forward. How it's going to work, I don't know. I still got a bit of queens in me. But it is so important that we take back this movement and when we talk about it, and we talk about it with a smile. No one wants to be part of a miserable movement, folks. We're the movement that represents liberty and freedom and all the good things God gave us. It's better than this. I got a lot to get to today. I was just the beginning of the show. I haven't even really gotten to the core what I'm going to talk about.

I've been out of law enforcement for a while, been close to over a decade. and going back in, you know, you realize that a lot of things in your life are being told by fairy tale artists. Like, you know what? It is an opportunity for rehabilitation for a lot of these violent criminals. Folks, I said to you the 80, 20 rule before, the chances of a hardcore violent criminal being rehabilitated are probably, and I'm being generous here, less than 5%. It's probably a 95 plus percent chance that the violent criminal was out there. Less than 10% of the population commits the overwhelming majority of violent crime

that these people will never be rehabilitated. And I learned this over the last year. It's a beautiful place. I love God. I love Jesus. He's given us beautiful sunsets, our kids, all this other stuff. However, there were also demons among us. And we have to stop pretending otherwise. It's a weird way to open up the show. The only reason I opened up the show with this today is I saw this on X yesterday.

I almost had a hard time believing this was true. I saw this tweet out there, this article. I had to go look at the piece because I'm like, there's no way this true. That this man who was sentenced to life for raping a 76-year-old, woman at knife point, beating her with a frying pan, then raping the visiting nurse that showed up, that Massachusetts just granted him parole. So I read the article, I'm like, there's no way this is true. Apparently it is.

And when you read the story, which I encourage you not to, yes, that's correct, not to, it's even worse. I say that because over the last year, while I was working for you guys, We would read a lot of stories like this. There was a morning briefing every day, a big briefing on Tuesday and Thursday, a smaller one with Cash Me and the assistant directors and ops directors, Monday, Wednesday, Friday. And folks, I got to tell you, I am not a morning person.

Why do you have a morning show? This isn't the morning for me. I get up early. However, the briefings would start about 7.45, 8 a.m. And the first thing you want to hear in the morning when you're in your office and you're not a morning person like me, I'm still haven't shaken off the cobwebs, even after working out in the morning, is you sit down in the Hoover building to 7th floor,

you don't want to hear about, you know, little girls being kidnapped, a mass shooting, a terror attack. This is every freaking day. Every day. So you get really, really, your skin gets really thick to this really fast because you don't have a choice.

I mean, it's like when you're, you know, I had cancer a while back, and I used to ask the cancer doctor, how do you tell all these people that are going to die every day? And the lady told me at this, she's like, listen, when you do it every day, sadly, you just get used to it.

It's never fun, but, you know, that was a job. I say that because this president has a different approach to this. We see this Axios article about murder rates at an all-time low. He doesn't get into this flowery bullshit, folks. He told us early on, when we approached him with this broken windows-type policing model, Rudy Giuliani used in New York, where you commit a crime, you're going to jail. And it's not about you anymore rehab. It's about keeping your ass in jail as long.

as humanly possible. When we take these people off the street, less things are going to happen because a small pool of people commit the overwhelming majority of violent crime. And look what happened. The murder rate was the lowest that's been in modern U.S. history.

I'm telling you this, because you've got a lot of these blue states out there and a lot of these blue state governors are going to be running for president. You've got midterms coming up. Folks, do you really want to go back to this? Do you really want to go back to this coddling criminals bullshit rehabilitation model?

And this is where I discuss constantly the idea of validity, reliability, and media framing, how they're not reliable or valid. The only thing they reliably do is attack anything this president does. there are no guiding principles at all. Here, this is a perfect example. I know I've told you probably close to two, three hundred times, but it matters. What is gaslighting? If you don't understand the principle of gas lighting,

gaslighting is getting people to believe a narrative, a story that is patently untrue. How do you get people to believe something that's false? You get them to believe something that's false by lying about it, lying often about it, repeating it, lying confidently about it, but then importantly, isolating people from the actual truth.

Reminds me of that. Was it, M. Night Shyamalan was at the village? You've probably seen the movie where, oh, these scary people on the outside. They isolated them from the truth. And then when they see the truth, they're like, well, not that scary all of a sudden. That's what gaslighting is.

The isolating people from the truth, I'm sorry if I'm getting into too much wankery, but it's critical here, is the framing component where you take a story, and you frame it in a way, you put a perimeter around it, that you leave on the outside certain facts that are important for normal, reasonable people

One of them right now, despite we're in these global hostilities going on right now, despite that fact, the Democrat Party, the Democrat, not Democratic, the Democrat Party has voted now or refused to vote on opening up the government for DHS, the Department of Homeland Security. They have shut down the Department of Homeland Security effectively,

except for emergency employees. They're not getting paid. We are in a perilously dangerous global situation right now, and the Democrats do not want to open it up. That's just a fact. Now, that's a fact. That should be in the framing, correct? It's kind of critical to note the Republicans want to open it up.

You think it's illegal to enter the United States like illegally?

you're up for the Supreme Court. You have no idea what a woman is? Do you have any idea how many things you're going to be ruling on from your throne on the Supreme Court that involve women, pregnancy issues, reproduction, human reproduction, birth control laws. Men don't take birth control with female birth control. I have their own mechanisms, of course. You have things being, you don't do the same birth control mechanism. on a man, you do want a woman. Because the parts are different.

I promise, if men take female birth control pills, it's not going to work. But how? I don't know what a woman is. What do you mean? That's one of a thousand different issues that impact women and men differently. Republicans may not be the solution to all your problems, but the cause of all your problems are Democrats. And in an imperfect world of level 10 decisions, shitty call, shittier call.

This knucklehead who's running for president in California, Gavin Newsom, You hear this guy on stage. I read a piece about him yesterday, how he's evolved in his presentation, how if you go back and look at that infamous clip of him with Adam Carolla when he was a lieutenant governor, Adam Carolla on the podcast, just ate Newsom's lunch.

He was the LG at the time. He just looked like a buffoon. I was reading his piece yesterday, how Newsom has gotten better at bullshitting people. That was the gist of the piece. I'm going to go through the whole thing. And he has. I watched the debate with the Santas. I thought the Santa's crushed him.

However, you come away with that if you don't know a lot about politics and you think like, wow, California is really doing great. It's not by any sound metric relative to other states of comparable size, even remotely comparable size, like Florida knows. They're not doing great. They're not doing great. He is a stupid, smart person. He is a person who, he pretends that he talks in like his elitist language and does a good presentation.

But he's really a moron because he doesn't. know the limits of his own knowledge. Here's what I mean. The facts even matter anymore to the left. The perfect example here, New York Post here. Companies are moving out of California in droves. Yamaha's the latest one. They're headed to Georgia. These companies have one thing in common. The states they're moving to a red states from California to blue state. Newsom, the facts even, liberals, how do you, when you see these stories about all of these companies getting up and leaving California, Washington, other liberal states to go to red states, and conservative states.

basically shutting down the internal statewide traffic in petrochemicals. Here's a CBS article I saw Barry Weiss put up about massive levels of fraud out of California. Of course, this will be ignored everywhere else. Incredible investigation from CBS since she took over over there. Our reporters visited Ground Zero for Hospice Fraud, Los Angeles. One building had 89 registered hospices. Wow, that's a lot of folks dying in one spot. 89 registered hospices in this one place.

Folks, you're never going to be able to combat this fraud by chasing it after the fact. Never. We had that Minnesota case when I was there. I think we're up to over 100 arrests. There's just not enough. There's only effectively about 12,000 FBI agents. Factor out national security, CT, C.I, VAC squads.

You probably have supervisors, people out on leave, you probably have less than a couple thousand people working specific white collar stuff at this point in the entire world. It's a global organization. You can't chase everyone. You need state support, city support, and others. We shouldn't have to chase them, though. If this money would have never went out the door in Minnesota and California and elsewhere because lawmakers would get their head out of their ass, we wouldn't have this problem. Why do I bring this up? Because finally some good things are happening. On that side, Scott Besson, who's been kind of a quiet superhero in the president's

cabinet, the Treasury Secretary, I saw this yesterday, where they're now going to be going after this on the preemptive side and the IRS side. They're going to be going after some of this just virulent festering fraud in the system because it's not all going to be done by chasing them down with handcuffs later. We just don't have the numbers to do it. Check this out. Civil enforcement is auditing financial institutions that facilitated the laundering of Minnesota of funds in addition to helping support criminal and civil enforcement efforts. This is critical. They are now going to be going after the financial intermediaries who process these payments

saying, hey, man, how did you not know this is fraud? But again, just the stupid continues on the left where they're like, I don't see nothing, I don't hear nothing, the Sergeant Schultz. I love Newsom, he's got great hair gel, whatever. Well, what is he actually done? This is an example, again, what I'm talking about with, with stupid smart people. People who project like Newsom, an aura of intellectual superiority. Oh, you dumb Republicans and Trump supporters.

You should be a lot like us. They say things so patently ridiculous that you hear them, and you've got to prevent yourself from vomiting on the screen. This Joy Reid, right? Is Joy, forget her for saying. She's talking to Wajahad Ali, just a, absolute tool on if you follow this guy or you ever see some of his stuff on accent commentary speaks for itself perfect example of a stupid smart person what he says about pakistan you're telling me people live in

Pakistan and karachi would rather live there than the united states of america and you expect that this is what passes the same commentary on the liberal left no no real i'm not kidding check this out other countries were laughing at him and laughing at us i want to tell you all something about about Pakistan. My parents were from Pakistan. It's a country with many challenges. My cousin came here from Pakistan, studied, went back. He was about to come to America. You know what he said? He goes, hey, man, I was about to buy a ticket to America, but things look really bad. I'm just going to stick back in Karachi. When people in Pakistan are looking at us and they're like taking pity. Yeah. Joy.

Okay, I don't know about this cat's cousin. Maybe that's true. Maybe he's a liberal lunatic like this guy. I don't know him. But that somebody says, Ethan, when people in Pakistan, I know you're talking for your cousin. I can almost guarantee you if we were to open, I'm not suggesting we should do this. Open up the portals of immigration. 90% of the country would leave to come here. The stupid smart people problem.

Folks, listen to me, the world is too volatile right now. This last year was just such an eye-opener. Sometimes I would come home on the weekends. And I would be sitting upstairs with Paula. We had this small room upstairs. It's kind of dark and you can chill and just whatever. Watch a movie. Paula walked in not that long ago.

She knows I used to do this. And I'd say, you know, sorry, I shouldn't be whispering. I would tell her, hey, man, you know, ignorance may be ignorant, but it's certainly bliss sometimes. I'm not kidding. There are some things you know that you just don't want to know. But once they get tattooed in your brain, you can't unsee or unhear them. The world is way too dangerous. of a place for stupid smart people like Newsom and these other morons to be in charge with a scale

that doesn't work. I'll just focus on one little thing right now. I saw this tweet yesterday. You hear what happened over at Amazon. I saw this gentleman on Twitter report on it. So Amazon, according to this tweet, had did some kind of an AI upgrade to their coding system. I think it was somewhere in China.

Apparently, the thing ran wild. And they asked it to make a little fix. Put up the tweet. and it wound up like redoing the whole system or something like that caused this big problem. And Amazon had this meetings, according to this guy, Lucas Olenjik, I don't know, forgive me him, saying your name wrong. Amazon said, hey, Amazon's holding a mandatory meeting about AI breaking its systems, he notes.

And they said, quote, the official framing is part of normal business. But there are a trend of incidents with high blast radius caused by AI-assisted changes. What I'm getting at, folks, is we are at a point right now, a very, very unique, and I hate that word because it's ironically overused. We are at a unique point in global history, not just American history, where technological changes from AI combined with quantum computing, we put up that chart. This is meant to be kind of a joke. It's not. Elon posted it yesterday. That we are at the point right now where the geometric advancement in computer jet, intelligence, AI, and quantum computing abilities that we are just probably moments away

in the long chronological history of time from a spot where we may not be able to control this stuff if the stupid smart people don't get the right guardrails up. Folks, I worry about this every single day. It is a single biggest problem we have now, which is this powerful technology in the hands of a bunch of idiots who don't understand the perimeter of their own knowledge, letting it get in the hands of our enemy who could dominate us. I don't think people understand out there how perilous of a problem this is. You have a super intelligence on the horizon, not far away, not far away, that is going to look at us like we're like ants. Remember that story I told you about Lucy?

He used to Lucy run around in the yard all the time. And then one day a bird died in the yard. And I picked a bird up and, you know, when birds die, all kinds of germs and stuff, drew the bird in the garbage. And Lucy used to run around the spot all time. One day I see her upset. She goes over the spot with a bird died.

And she's like got her nose in it. And I was like, Lucy, I screamed. And Lucy doesn't know. Lucy's like I sniffed this spot a thousand times. Why are you yelling at me now? I can't explain to where a bird died there because she doesn't have the capacity. Folks, we're at the spot with computing power and AI

where I'm not sure the average viewer understands how powerful this is going to be. We don't have time to school around. All right, let me take a quick break and I will get to our guys. And I guess the word got around that there was going to be a small ceremony for this veteran, but that not a lot of people could be there because he had outlived most of his family and friends. So it's kind of dream come true to kind of be here with you. It's awesome. I told you I want to have you back regularly. I'm a man of my word. He's the host of Ungoverned on LFA TV. is, man, if it was ever time for a divorce inside this party, and I'm using that term party loosely because I don't really believe a lot of these people are ours, and we should claim them. I guess it's not infighting when people claim a whole set of different ideas, walk in our tent and try to kill the host. But it's time for divorce, and here's why. There's a math problem here. we should be spending 80% or 80% of our time on issues and like 20% of our time on cleaning up in you know the inside of the 10th 80% outside 20% inside it's always going to be internal problems any club team party whatever the problem now is some of these doomers are spending 80% of their time attacking within the 10th and then 20% of the time pretending they care about democrats we got freaking midterms to win I'm not telling you like the reposers Republicans are the answer to all your problems, but Democrats are the cause of all your problems. This is just annihilating the host, and it is way past time for a divorce. Well, 100%. And here's the problem with what we see. So these Dumers, the black pillars,

the whatever they want to be called or however they call, whatever they call themselves, whatever we want to call them. Everyone knows who we're talking about, right? So it's, the problem is they'll come out, they'll start taking shots, right? They took a lot of shots at you. They've taken shots at me, you know, and they'll do it when maybe you're vulnerable or they'll do it on, on social media where they realize, you know, they can get a lot of clicks by accusing somebody of being paid, right? I love this. They tell me that I'm paid by, Dan, I'm paid by so many people.

I have no idea. I wish one of those checks would come in the mail. It would be great. You know, I said, guys, trust me, if I'm taking all this money from a foreign country, there would be signs, okay? I promise you. And I have probably a few different hats, you know, a few new things. You probably would notice some signs.

But they love to say that every time you have a slight disagreement on any issue, the automatic assumption is that, oh, you're paid to take that position. And it's just, it's ridiculous. And then when you hit back and you say, no, this is, this is crazy. And you're causing a problem. They go, stop attacking me. I know what happened to free speech. It's unbelievable.

First of all, the First Amendment, they love to talk about the first amendment. The First Amendment says, Congress shall make no law. It does not say content creators shall have no opinions, right? So they have opinions. We have opinions. I have opinions about them. They have opinions about me. That's the way it goes.

But the problem is, is that the way they act, the tantrums that they throw, the accusations that they sling, oh, you're protecting pedophiles. Like, really? I don't remember ever doing that. You know, it's, it is unbelievable. And the damage online that they're doing. doing is significant, you know, and it's not just maybe damage to the party as a whole. It is a distraction. We're spending time on things that we shouldn't be spending time on.

But I think it's a bit of a demoralization campaign because when you have people who, you know, are on their favorite social media app for a long time, reading these comments. If you don't have thick enough skin, you may start to believe some of these things about yourself and start to change who you are. And so that's why I always tell people to kind of look, the internet, there are. real people on the internet i like to say the internet's not real life because it's not a total representation of real life although there are real conversations that take place on these apps but i like to say deli counter politics go to uh a supermarket and ask somebody at the deli counter what their

opinion is about what let's say candace owens just said and they'll they'll respond with who is that i just want my turkey and when you say that to these people they're like oh well she's got a bigger audience than you And she very well might. But when we go to the deli counter, we are equals, okay? And so in the real world, I like to talk to real people in the real world. I mean, we're very involved here locally. My wife and I are going to start door knocking for a sheriff candidate this weekend.

We're very excited about that. Obviously, that's a big position for us having been swatted a year ago. So we want to make sure that we get our guy in. You know, it's one of these things where in the real world, it's totally different conversation than what you see on social media. A lot of that's influenced by people in other countries. And you're right about needing a divorce from these people. These folks, they, you know, they like, oh, there's division.

Maga is dead. And it's like, well, you're the ones who are causing it. And I can't unite with somebody who, if I don't fall 100% in lockstep with all of their opinions, some of them are disgusting, right? Then I'm some sort of foreign agent. So there is no uniting with people like that if they want to try and form their own thing. online and have their little click. That's fine. But in the real world, nobody knows who they are. They're not actually very significant. And I think it's time to cast them aside and get down to

business on our side because we've proven that we can win. We've proven that we can reach new people. And I always say this, you know, if you want to fall by the wayside, no problem, we'll trade up. We'll upgrade at the position and we will succeed without them. So they can either behave like rational human beings and be a part of this amazing movie. that's taking shape over the last 10 years, or they can do their own thing and chase online clicks and money and cloud. I think they're taking option B, but that's on them. You know, Sean, we're talking to Sean Farrish, host of Ungoverned.

You know, you would think some of these people would have learned from what happened to the left, how the left moved from the old DLC, Bill Clinton type, the era big government is over party. That was his speech, Bill Clinton, at the State of the Union. The old, you know, John F. Kennedy's speech about marginal tax rates being too high. Yes, I didn't say that wrong. You know, you had this type of Democrat, the old school blue dog who had performed very well.

I mean, Clinton, despite all his sexual escapade, so on left office, we're close to a 60% approval rating. I'm not celebrating his presidency by any means. You had Hillary Care and all those debacles. I'm just telling you, like, there's a model for success to kind of moderate. the insanity. But what I find now is you get this small portion of people pretending to be ours, and they're replicating the model by trying to pull sane people into the insane sphere. You know, space aliens came over and killed this guy, and this person's involved in a conspiracy

with the Jews and all this other stuff. It's like insanity. It's like cannibalism theory in reverse. But having said that, I do want to kind of give a point, counterpoint. I think there's a counterpoint here, you and I should both address as content creators to that. I said 80-20 because it is helpful, I don't know, 15, 20 percent at a time to keep your own party in check too. I mean, you see it right now and your comments on the SAVE Act. You've been all over this. This is critically important to preserve the integrity of our elections. And let's be honest, whereas the base of Republicans is there and wants this voter measures, voter integrity measures, voter ID, even the Democrat base wants it. You got people in D.C. who should be moving mountains for it.

lawmakers, especially on the Senate side, and they just don't seem to be responding. So there is a role for this kind of point, counterpoint where we keep our own party in check too. Yeah, we have to keep our own party in check or else what are, you know, we don't actually have any. We the people have a job to play in this system. And I think, unfortunately, we hit this like level. Folks haven't cracked open. And I don't mean to say this in a condescending way.

It's just that the understanding of civics in the country is, it's like lacking. And I think that's an indictment on the education system. I always equated to like a restaurant, right? When you go to a restaurant, I ask you how you want your steak cooked, you tell them, right? How you want your steak cooked. And if you answer with anything like well done, no offense to the president, but like we can't be friends. You need to give me some red.

I need some red. I like how you made an exception for President Trump. He likes it well done with ketchup. Like, hey, man, he's earned his right to do that. You know, presidential victories, billions of dollars. You can get your steak like freaking shoe leather if you want, man. Well, he's not the type of person I want to get upset with me right now, considering what he's doing to the mullers, right?

You know, you look at the, you look at the Supreme. They called him the Supreme Leader. I call him the Supreme Loser. He's he died like a dog. We needed that. But I'm saying, my favorite line of his presidency was the like a dog. He died like a dog. I know.

He's got to resurrect that one again for this one. I was listening to that. my way to work that day and i almost crashed i couldn't believe what i was listening to was the greatest press conference in history and you could trust that with like obama after bin laden and it's just too it was just great but my point here i so with with the um with with how government works i always equated to a restaurant you tell your server your servant your waiter your chef whatever how you want your meal cooked if we're not telling our representatives how we want our meal cooked then you can't get upset when your meal comes out and it's cooked wrong. So we have to play a role in the system. They are public servants,

but we have to be there to tell them how we want to be served or else they could just play dumb. And well, I didn't hear from my constituents. I didn't hear from anybody. I thought they didn't want the save back pass. Well, obviously that's not the case. You see social media. You see some of these folks. Scott Pressler is leading a charge now to handwrite notes and send them to John Thune and post a picture on social media of your handwritten letters. So we have to play a bigger role in that process to and tell our servants, our public servants, how we want to be served. And I think we're doing that. And sometimes when we do that, people look at that and go, oh, my gosh, you're attacking your own people. We're not attacking. We're literally saying, like, this is what we want and we want you to

follow through. You're supposed to represent our best interests, and you're not doing that. And it's obvious. And by the way, it's both parties have a horrible approval rating in Congress. So like the both chambers of Congress, the House and the Senate, are completely detached from the American people. Something's wrong there. And I think part of what would make that better is if we consistently play a bigger role in this process. A lot of, unfortunately, what happened after 2024 was, you know, we celebrated winning the Super Bowl and then acted like, well, just because we won the Super Bowl last year means we're going to win again next year. And it's like, no, you got to remember at the beginning of every. new season, the champion, the defending champion has the same record as everybody else.

So we got to get back to work and do that again. We've proven that it's possible. We can just copy and paste the same formula. So I think we could look inwards a little bit too, look in the mirror. And when we talk about cleaning up our own side, whether it's the bad actors online or maybe some of these squishes up in D.C., we have to play a bigger and better and more consistent role in doing that because if we don't, unfortunately, we're part of the problem, too. So I think, you know, we could be part of the solution while addressing these problems as well.

You know, Sean, you and I share a lot in common, kind of grew up in blue states. So we're used to being in not only the minority, but in some cases the super minority, where the super majority just overwhelms us everywhere. You know, New York, Maryland in my case, you're obviously very familiar with New York politics. I think we just see it differently. You develop a different kind of kind of internal grit because you're always just getting your political ass just handed to you every election.

And there is no giving up because you don't have a choice. Like you've got to live there. You know, when I was young, my, you know, I lived with my parents. I'm going to be going to do move at 13. And these things are kind of forced down your throat. But you and I experienced also George Pataki up in New York. Well, I mean, let's be honest, it wasn't Ronald Reagan. However, three-term Republican governor.

Yes, folks, that's right. three consecutive terms in New York. Rudy Giuliani, you know, two unbelievably successful terms of Republican mayor in New York City. So you and I get it. Like, you know, when Donald Trump isn't on the ballot, there's been this kind of fade accompli attitude. Oh, we're going to lose. No, if you show up tautologically and get people to vote, you're going to win.

And if we can do it in a blue state, there's no excuse for losing a swing state seat, you know, anywhere in like Tennessee where you are now or anywhere else. I mean, that's the kind of attitude we have to have where we're always, always punching back regardless because the other guy's still kicking your ass. That's right. And it's also not just showing up in November, but look at Texas, right? The primary is more important in many cases than the general because a lot of times right here. What's the point of voting?

It's a rhino. This person is just going to go to D.C. and not listen to me. Okay, well, then be a part of candidate selection, right? Like, this is all stuff that we can do. And it's stuff that, you know, like I said, we're involved. at a local sheriff's race right now here with an amazing guy. And we've gotten to know them. We had meetings with them.

We're going to go door knocking. This is what you have to do. A lot of people, you know, I don't have time for that. Really like 30 minutes a couple times a week. You know, you do 10, 10 and 10. We just go walk around your neighborhood. Just have some conversations. Just do your own neighborhood.

Yeah, just do your own neighborhood. Do 10 houses in your neighborhood. If everyone did 10 houses and we, you know, we had what? 70,000 streamers yesterday. if they did 10 houses, you know, you're talking about a significant number of people who've been contacted. And as, you know, you're probably aware of from marketing, you have to touch someone with an ad or a palm card or something, seven to 21 times before the message even registers, no less if they're going to vote for you. You've got to get out there and look people in the eye.

That's right. Well, look, I always say this. You know, if face-to-face conversations didn't work, there'd be no door-to-door salesman. Why do I have a new roof? I got hail last year. We got nailed with this major hail. It was a huge hail storm. I mean, it was insane.

I kind of liked it because I love extreme weather. I'm weird like that. But we needed a new roof. We had somebody knock on our door and, you know, go up on the roof. And they sold us on the job. We had insurance covered the whole line. But if door-to-door sales didn't work, then there would be no door-to-door salesman. And it wouldn't be as lucrative of a job as it is.

I mean, you can make a lot of money in face-to-face sales. Like I said, we talked about it last time. I did a lot of face-to-face with DirecTV. It's the best way that I was able to sell the product was in front of people. So just apply that to other things. Politics is essentially sales. You're selling your platform. You're selling yourself.

And again, I hear the complaint all the time. Well, what's the point of voting for Republicans? They just go to Washington, D.C. They sell us out anyway. Well, first of all, the first point is handing power to Marxists is never the answer. Right. So I see all these people. Oh, I'm just going to vote.

Democrat to send the Republicans a message. Okay. I mean, you're literally cutting off your nose despite your face or you're just coming out of the closet and you're showing, you do the show your ass theory. You're showing everybody your ass. And I hate to be graphic, but it's unwiped. Like, it's not pretty. Okay. It's gross. So don't, but you're telling me, you're telling me that voting Democrat is the answer in what world, right? You know what the answer is being involved in every step of the process, going to your local Republican party meetings, knowing when there's We do this thing on my show on LFAT, first of every month. First show of every month.

We say, go on Google, Google, the Google machine, the Google Mayor Eric Adams. So Google one time. It was hysterical. We say we go on Google, first of every month, and we type in, is there an election that I can vote in, in, and then you put your zip code this month. And you will never, ever, ever, ever, ever be unaware again. And it takes you two minutes to do that 12 times a year. That is 24 minutes over the course of a whole year.

That's not even a full, you know, episode of Bugs Bunny or some sort of cartoon. Two minutes, once a month, first of every month, find out if there's something to vote in. Go meet your candidates. It's not hard. It's just something that with everything else that, you know, life has for all of us, it kind of falls by the wayside. But that's why you wind up with some of these candidates that we get disappointed with in the future. Play a role in candidate selection. Vote in your primaries.

Go to your meetings. Form those networks of people in, in the, neighborhoods and i've seen it when i was on long island the reason why we were able to flip school board seats the reason why we were able to flip county executive seats that hadn't been republican in years district attorney seats that hadn't been republican in years the reason why lee zeldon came within six points the last time he ran for governor six points in new york unheard of is because so many people got out and in the real world face to face had these conversations informed coalitions with each other that's what we're supposed to do in this process you always talk about being an activist

first and that's to me i always put that hat on and say how can we take control of this situation how can we play a bigger role how can the people be involved you know they say the government is supposed to operate with the consent of the governed well it's time for us to start giving our consent or pushing back on things that we don't want so i always say look in the mirror and let's play a big role in the process we can do a little bit more you know and so can our representatives but we've got to put the pressure on and i think with the save act i think you're starting to to see that. You know, I think you're starting to see the Senate start to feel some of the heat. Hopefully they feel it enough and get this over the finish line. I hope so. And I'll tell you, Sean,

if we've known each other a long time, I always hesitate to discuss this, this get out and do stuff with regards to elections that you and I are addressing in this segment with this audience, because the 70, 80,000 people are watching live and another, I don't know, five, six hundred thousand are going to watch on demand later, they're already doing it. So to them, it's like, you know, hello, Captain, obvious. But what I say to those folks listening is, we're not addressing this at you. We're asking you to be vehicles like the show is to go pull in other people into the activist orbit.

That's the 10, 10, and 10 rule. We're not saying you go. We know you're doing it. I saw your tweet about the sheriff candidate the other day with a picture. And I thought, man, he really doesn't slow down this guy. You got your job. You got your show. all this stuff going on.

But we're asking you to go get your neighbor who may be on the fence about getting involved and just start them small. Forget 10, 10, 10, and 10. Ask them one, one and one. Hey, maybe you got a cousin who's interested in politics as well. Hey, here's the website, whatever. That's how I got people involved in politics. I had a neighbor in my neighborhood who couldn't have given a shit about politics.

Now he's talking about running for office. There was a guy in Maryland who's a state delegate who got involved in politics because he hosted a fundraiser for me when I ran for Senate. He's like a three-term state delegate now and a damn good conservative. This guy, Brian. So, you know, this stuff happens. That's what we're getting out with this. You made me think before, though, you know, you're quite funny, but you're also very insightful.

You know, Mattoscalco, Sebastian Manascalco, the comedian, he's hilarious. How, like, we're talking about knocking on doors for politics and sales. That segment he does about how, you know, everybody used to get excited when someone knocks on your door. And now someone knocks on everybody's hiding. Turn the lights out. Turn it. You ever see that segment? Everybody's like jumping behind the couch.

That's the world we live in today in connectivity, where everybody exists online. They're so afraid of real world interaction. Yeah, it's scary, right? It's like, what is this person doing at my door? It's like, it's all right. It's human being, right? We can have this conversation. It's fine.

I mean, I'd be a liar if I told you, though, knocking doors for candidates. I haven't had a few doors slammed in my face. I laugh when that happens. I'm like, dang, they do not want to be bothered. I knocked on 5,500 doors myself in one congressional race I was involved in when I ran for Maryland District 6. One, I mean, I'd have one at least one or two an hour. I had one where they let the dog, like, charge the door. And even though you see the door between you and a dog, your instincts kick in,

and almost fell off the freaking stairs. I mean, people, you know, people don't like that. But I was used to say to folks and activists and candidates knocking on doors, If you give one empathetic statement to start, you can, and I learn this from trial and error, show empathy with these people who don't want their privacy interrupted. It'll diffuse 90% of the negativity. If you say, sir, I totally understand that there's someone at your door you don't know.

You were very hesitant to talk to me. I get it. I hate when people knock on my door. I'm just going to make this super quick if you've got a second. I'm Dan Bongino. I'm running for office. And then typically 90% of time it would diffuse the situation. You have to show them that you actually.

actually care. I got one final question for you and I are in the digital space here. You addressed earlier in the show how technology for content delivery is changing. Not everything is cable news anymore anymore. It's a lot. It's a huge chunk of it. But everything's on demand now, that two-button problem. We used to turn on talk radio and rush would be on. Now you have to go to an app, hit the app, hit play. You get this two-button problem. The kids have it figured out. Some of us, older folks, like me, you know, it took us a while to get used to technology. But my point is in the future where everything is going to be some on-demand delivery system and you're not just going to turn a channel on and someone's going to be there,

your content better be really good. I think that's what's driving a lot of the division is people's need to be controversial rather than right. But I believe that's a short-term model for success rather than long-term success, where people want truth. They don't want like up and down spikes. Ah, here's bullshit. They want the truth over time.

That's what's going to be the model for success. We've been around 10 years doing that. 100% I say a lot of these folks that you know we were alluding to at the beginning of this segment you know are are essentially just shock jocks right so you're not tuning in to be enlightened you're tuning in to hear what crazy thing is going to be said next like oh well I remember when the left called you crazy for saying masks don't work and I'm like yeah well a little bit of a different situation right it's like trying to stop mosquitoes with a chain link fence but in this case when you hear these wild theories every sing I Dan everything is Israel it rained outside the ground is wet it wasn't rain somebody from Israel dumped water on my front that's that's literally what they're saying they're like though how do you know that didn't happen and I'm like because I watched on the radar when the rain came down well how do you know the radar wasn't a sci up built by the Jews and I'm like all right so you're just in that camp whatever I'll never get through to you

these people are shock jocks there they're there people watch this type of content these these wild the dumer class because it's I call it the outrage addicts or enragement farming that's what they're doing they're making money off of getting you upset and I don't like when people are manipulating, you know, friends of mine, viewers of mine, supporters of mine, supporters of yours, emotionally, it's wrong, but sometimes it feels good to like be mad about something, right? And they know that. In this space, I think you're right. If you want staying power, you've got to give somebody something of value. If you're going to provide them

with a product and eventually you're not going to make good on your promises, you're going to get turned off. Someone's going to turn you off. It's not going to last forever. So, while that short-term instant gratification of, wow, look at all these views, all these likes, You get that dopamine hit and it feels great. You got to know, like, around the corner, your day of reckoning is coming. And people are at some point, it's going to happen where they're going to realize, you know, you're full of crap. And just like we said in the real world where you may get a, you know, a door slammed in your face, which, by the way, Dan, what you said yesterday, the only reason I'd ever slam a door on your face, if you ever say that Jar Jar Jar Binks is less annoying than the Ewox again, I'm going to have a big problem. How did I know you were going there?

I don't like the Ewarks. I swear I knew you were going. I don't like the Ewks, but Jar Jar is the worst Star Wars character in the history of the movies. And your whole team will agree with me. But these people online are going to slam the door on these. I hope the folks online slam the door on all these. No more. Axe, never again back on the show.

Well, that's actually not going to work because I have, can I say what can it happen next week? Is that okay? Sure. Yeah, that's fine. Sean Ferris, who's one of my good friends. and I really love his content. Next week, folks, Monday and Tuesday, I have a family engagement.
