You've got me in the Santa hat. It's a beautiful thing. We love Santa Claus. He's a tremendous person. St. Nick. Some people call him Chris Kringle. As long as you don't call him Chris Christie, we're very happy about it. You know, he's one of those fat people who won't be coming down your chimney, I could tell you, and you don't want that to happen. Merry Christmas to everybody here, Bongino Army, Invincibles, everybody who's here and so excited to be here again, once again, guest hosting for you. We've got a lot to get to, and I want to start with a, you know, with polling. Some people say to
Starting point is 00:02:46 me, Sean, you can't trust the polls. The polls are fake. The polls can't be trusted. Well, I'll tell you one thing. The polls, they're not perfect. but if there's one thing I could tell you about polls is that they are a reliable not a reliable but a data set so we have it's the only data that we have uh when we talk about these these issues surrounding american politics and this is a very interesting poll you know we hear about trump derangement syndrome all the time right and you could live by TDS you could die by TDS right and of course i mean that uh metaphorically speaking or rhetorically speaking we don't want anybody to actually be hurt before people start running around like chickens with their heads cut off. He's calling for, no, we're not calling for violence. But a majority of folks polled here, and I want to be very clear about this particular poll because if you've studied polling
Starting point is 00:03:38 and you look at all the different polling firms and different polls that go out on websites like 538 or real clear politics, you kind of start to learn which way these polls tend to lean. And this poll in particular is not a poll that I would say leans to the right. This would be a poll that I would say, if anything, leans pretty heavily to the left, right?
Starting point is 00:04:02 So you have some right-leaning polls, kind of like Trafalgar, maybe some insider advantage polls, signal, quantis insights from time to time. Rasmussen, you know, and they probably won't appreciate me saying they skew to the right. When I say skew to the right,
Starting point is 00:04:17 they skew to the right more so than your general Quinnipiac, Emerson, and Harvard Harris. And this poll is a Harvard Harris poll, and it shows a trend that we've been taking note of, right? On my show on LFA TV, we talk about this all the time, that the Democrats and the way they think, that is the outlier in this country. And what I mean by that is generally since 2023, we've seen this trend bear out in a lot of these polls. You see Republicans and independents feel one way about something. And then you see Democrats all the way out there in left field, they feel.
Starting point is 00:04:55 a whole different way about something you know and and and that's exactly what's happening here with this poll that harvard harris conducted in december a majority of americans so a majority of everybody poll this is not the splits yet a majority of americans believe that the democrats should take a wait and see attitude and approach on president donald trump's actions rather than blindly opposing them right so again you live by td s you die by tds one of my favorite movies you know, other than Star Wars, which everybody knows. Everybody knows that it's my, but I also happen to like this, you know, Pirates of the Caribbean. I think Jack Sparrow is one of my favorite movie characters of all time.
Starting point is 00:05:35 He's just a silly person. He's kind of like a functioning alcoholic and he bounces around the ship and, you know. So from the original Pirates of the Caribbean movie, there's a scene where those, the British soldiers are rowing out of the cave or they're going into the cave to go to confront the pirates. And one of the people says, how come we're not doing what, what Captain Sparrow said to do in waiting by the ships. And the Commodore says because it was Captain Jack Sparrow who said it. And this is the moral of that story, not that we were taking, you know, lessons from a pirate
Starting point is 00:06:09 move here or anything, but the lesson is real, right? Don't just discount what somebody says because somebody who you don't like said it. You know, there's a lot of people on social media, a lot of people in the conservative media space that I've kind of grown tired of over the last, I would say, 12 months. And if you need to know who I'm talking about, you can see on my social media exactly some of these people who I'm talking about. But if they came out and said, you know, water is wet. I wouldn't look at that and go, well, water might not be wet anymore because so and so who I don't like and I don't trust said it, right? Some things are just obvious. Some things, you know, we don't necessarily need to
Starting point is 00:06:50 argue. So that's what the majority of voters are telling the Democrats to do. Look, don't just discount. Don't just, uh, you know, laugh off and gaff off Donald Trump's ideas because Trump said it. I mean, I made bits about this over the summer. We're endorsing oxygen. We love breathing, right? Uh, you look at it. I get along very well with air. They call it air. I call it O2. You look at O2. I love oxygen. Oxygen is great. And you breathe in, you breathe out. And I did that in front of my doctors. And my doctor said, sir, these are the greatest lungs the world has ever say they inflate, they deflate. You've got a beautiful, you got big beautiful lungs and you're going to keep, I want all of you to breathe because we're hoping that the radical left wing crazy people and
Starting point is 00:07:33 frankly, stupid people hold their breath. That's honestly what they do. You know, you remember when Donald and I made that, why did I make that? I made that because remember when RFK and Donald Trump came out and said, hey, you know, maybe stay away from Tylenol when you're pregnant. And there were people eating Tylenol on TikTok. They were just like, oh, Trump said not to take Tylenol, and they started guzzling the pills out of the bottle. That's stupid and insane behavior. And this is what the majority of Americans who answered this poll
Starting point is 00:08:02 want Democrats to stop doing. They're saying, look, not every idea that Trump has is a great idea. Not every idea that Trump has is necessarily something that we want to see done. But why don't we see if it works first, than just writing it off because Trump said it. So 60% of those polled by Harvard Harris, this is a Harvard Harris poll. Again, this is not a poll that generally is favorable
Starting point is 00:08:31 or produces results that I would normally be out here behind a microphone in front of a camera talking about. I would be saying, ah, this is a poll that can't be trusted. 60%, okay? That's nearly two thirds, said that Democrats should take more of a wait and see attitude compared to 40% who said they should just oppose everything Trump is doing and just lean into your TDS. Now opinions, of course, greatly vary on party lines. Most Democrats, 62% believe that the Democrats should just oppose everything that Donald Trump
Starting point is 00:09:10 is doing compared to 38% of Democrats who believe they should take a wait and see approach. So there you go. That's where the Democrats stand. And this is the trend that we saw starting to take place. I watched these polls, these approval rating polls. It was Joe Biden. He was only getting a favorable approval rating from Democrats, Republicans, and independents. Didn't like Joe Biden back in 2023. Inflation, the price of gas, the direction of the country, you name it.
Starting point is 00:09:37 This trend showed itself every single time from 2023 all the way through the 2024 election, which, you know, Donald Trump won in a landslide. So you've got 62% of Democrats, a majority of Democrats, a large majority of Democrats, believe TDS is the way. Lean into your Trump derangement syndrome, lean into it, feel good about it, just oppose everything Donald Trump is doing, obstruct him every step of the way. This is what Democrats want the Democrats to do. However, most Republicans and independence, okay, 79% of Republicans and 62% of Republicans and
Starting point is 00:10:14 62% of independence believe that Democrats should have a wait and see attitude compared to 39% of independents and 21% of Republicans who say the opposite, who say, yeah, Democrats should just oppose what Donald Trump wants to do simply because it's Donald Trump and they don't want to let them have their way. So here we go. Republicans and independents agree that Democrats should stop just leaning into TDS, should stop defaulting to if Trump says it, it's bad. And if Trump wants to do it, we can't let it happen. And let's see what happens, right? And one of the examples that I have is tariffs, right? You look at the tariffs. And Donald Trump was doing this to protect American workers. They said, no, these companies, they're going to wind
Starting point is 00:11:02 up passing these costs onto the consumers. You're going to watch the price of everything that you want to go up. The world is going to end. The sky is going to start falling. There's going to things coming out of the sky and all sorts of not what happened with tariffs why don't we wait and see you know it was like appealing to me when i hear the president of the united states saying he wants to replace the income tax which i can't stand with tariffs right well you're going to pay more for things yes but if you're not going to be paying the income tax on every dollar that you make i would say that that's a pretty fair trade i'd like that trade because then essentially what's happening is you're paying a sales tax, right? So if the cost of goods and services increase, right,
Starting point is 00:11:44 because of tariffs, if the cost of these things go up, that only impacts me when I buy those things, right? I mean, it has to make sense. So if, if let's say that, you know, a coffee mug that comes from China, right? And I get along very well with China. And you look at President Xi of China. I call him Winnie the Pooh. They say, sir, you're not supposed to say that. And I said to President Xi, if you don't want me to call you Winnie the Pooh, you have to stop looking like Winnie the Pooh and tell Christopher Rabin, I said hello, and no more honey for you until you start behaving. But if I have a coffee mug that comes from China, right, and there's a 300% tariff on that mug, and so now it costs three times as much, but I only have to pay that when I buy the
Starting point is 00:12:30 coffee mug, and I can avoid the tariff by buying a mug that doesn't come from China, right? that comes from the good old US of A. So you look at that example. So I only have to pay the quote unquote tax. Everyone's all a tariff is a tax. I only have to pay the quote unquote tax when I buy something. Now the income tax applies to after the standard deduction obviously every single dollar that I make regardless of whether or not I'm buying something.
Starting point is 00:12:58 So I would rather be taxed or have to deal with the increased cost of something when I'm consuming that good or service instead of paying a percentage of my income to the federal government on every dollar that I make. And that's just one of those things, the wait and see approach. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:13:19 You guys say tariffs are going to be terrible. You guys say it's going to be the end of the world. You guys say it's going to tank the economy. Well, you're never going to be proven right if you stand in the way. If you're saying it's the worst thing in the world, then you should probably let it happen. Well, you say, oh, if it's going to be so bad for the country, no, they're afraid to let these things happen because they know they're going to be good for the country.
Starting point is 00:13:42 Look at the southern border. Tom Holman just gave a glowing review over what he saw down there on the southern border. Zero illegal aliens have been released into the country between May and November of 2025. That's insane. That's six months of zero. It's a goose egg. It's a donut. Zero illegal aliens released into the United States. Zero.
Starting point is 00:14:10 That doesn't mean that none are coming in. That means those who are coming in are being apprehended, detained, and not just being turned loose in the interior of the United States. Say, all right, well, we'll see you when we see you. Show up the court if you want. And if you don't show up the court, that's no big deal. We'll get back to you when we can. The southern border has been a rousing success.
Starting point is 00:14:30 All we heard from Democrats is that, well, first we heard that they needed an act of Congress. in order to secure the southern border. Donald Trump did it in a day. He snapped his fingers, my big, beautiful fingers. He snapped his fingers, and the border was closed. Now you've got 1.9, I believe, was the number. 1.9 million illegal aliens have self-deported, and 600,000 have been involuntarily deported.
Starting point is 00:14:56 Fine by me. I don't care how they leave as long as they leave, right? It's like that song, closing time. You don't have to go home, but you can't stay. here. And I don't care where you go. Just get out. I know Dan used to do karate man from trading places. There's another scene in trading places where they're in Eddie Murphy's house, right? The character in Eddie Murphy's house. And the party's going on too long. And he doesn't like the fact that they're kind of trash in the house. And he just said, get the F out. That's how I feel
Starting point is 00:15:24 about the illegals at this point. Okay? The all-time great movie, by the way, trading places. And technically a Christmas movie. It's on TV like every night now. It's an amazing move, right? It's an amazing move. Lionel Joseph. We had great fun there at the pavilion. Bo Billy, bovillie, bovillie, it's great. I certainly whooped as enough spears on the tree in for me. You know, Dan Aykroyd did a better Jamaican accent than Kamala Harris.
Starting point is 00:15:50 With Stephen Colbert, remember that nonsense? How have you no empathy, man? What are you doing? And then on Univision. And when she went on Univision, is your house okay? Is your family okay? Right? What are you doing? Could you imagine if Donald Trump for a second put on, you know, a Spanish accent on Univision? And he was just like, happy Cinco di Porto, me fellow Americansos, get the hell out of our country. And that wasn't even a Spanish accent. No, it wasn't it. You know, Felis di Portad, right? Get the hell out. Felis di Portad. Prospero, Viaje and no Vos. That means have a safe trip and don't come back. We love it. And we're talking all about it. These polls and these, these, this data. is disastrous for the Democrats, and it spells out a larger issue.
Starting point is 00:16:38 So while they may claim, they may claim that Donald Trump, oh, he is historically unpopular, well, according to most, if not all, polling right now, Donald Trump's approval rating in his second term is better than Bush, is better than Obama, it's better than Clinton. I mean, come on. Historically unpopular, I don't think so. I'll tell you who is historically unpopular, though. And that's the Democrat Party in Congress. Now, the Republicans are not right there either. I mean, they're not doing too hot either.
Starting point is 00:17:08 It's because they're doing a whole lot of nothing right now. But the Democrats, I believe, have an 18% approval rating. 18%. Now, when they asked our good friend, well, I say good friend in jest, Hakeem Jeffries about it. What is Brennan calls Harkim Jefferson. That's Dallisto. She called him Dallisto.
Starting point is 00:17:29 Dallas, Dahlast. Stor Obama. We called them during the Schumer C.S., remember the sombreros? We called them Pesostor Obama. That was so funny. And then we had, and remember this too? Remember we had the Indian headdress on Columbus Day, they call me Chief Golden Eagle, and they call Hakeem Jeffries, Chief Tiny Tee. Here's a very small teepee. The biggest tip of the world has ever seen, Chief Tiny Teepe. But Hakeem Jeffries was asked this question about a new poll that came out regarding the Democrats approval rating? Do we have that? Can we roll Hakeem Jeffreys? He said, it's an outlier.
Starting point is 00:18:04 He said, it's an outlier. Let's go to that Jeffrey's clip. Actually, the Democrats in recent polls are actually fearing worse than the Republicans. Take a look at a Quinnipiac poll out just this week, shows that Democrats have their lowest approval rating in the poll's 15-year
Starting point is 00:18:20 history. Only 18 percent give Democrats in a high approval rating in the handling of the economy. Only 18 percent, 73 percent disapproval. What are you doing wrong? Well, clearly that's an outlier poll. Clearly, yeah, clearly. It's because it's inconvenient.
Starting point is 00:18:41 It's like that scene from liar, liar. Objection, Your Honor. Why? What was he said? On what grounds? Because it's devastating to my case. It's not an outlier. Hakeem. Dallisto, Pesostore, whatever you want to call yourself, right? Timu Obatimu, he's Obama from China. Even the Epstein people, remember that letter they sent? They called him Brooklyn's Barack. All right. It's not an outlier.
Starting point is 00:19:13 Even Harvard, so you have Quinnipiac, that's a left-leaning poll. Or left-leaning pollster. Harvard Harris, right, left-leaning pollster. They're all showing you, they're all showing you the same results. They're all showing you the same results. Democrats are either, A, unpopular, 18, could you imagine having an 18% approval rating and thinking you're doing a good job?
Starting point is 00:19:37 Could you imagine? I mean, I get it. You know, political capital and you don't want to sit there and admit you're doing something wrong and admit defeat look weak. But I mean, when your approval rating is at 18%, you might want to change things up a little bit.
Starting point is 00:19:51 You may want to make a little adjustment at halftime, right? It's like the New York Jets. So you have like two yards of total offense in the first half. You might want to do something different. Aaron Glenn. There's a long-suffering jazz fan that pains me to bring up the fact that this team is perpetually a disaster.
Starting point is 00:20:06 18% approval rating. You've got this poll from Harvard Harris of a majority of Americans. The Democrats are like, no, we love TDS. But the rest of us, right? Nearly two-thirds of us are saying, hey, you should probably stop with that TDS stuff. And just let Trump do what he's going to do.
Starting point is 00:20:23 And if it's going to be an issue, and if it's such a bad thing, we'll all find out, you'll be right. and we'll reward you, I won't, but we'll reward you with our votes and our support. So, you know, and I know people say, again, the polling is fake and we can't trust the polls, but these are, these issue polls to me are extremely valuable because it allows you to get a pulse. It allows you to get a pulse. It allows you to feel the heartbeat of where the country is.
Starting point is 00:20:52 It allows you to feel the sentiment of where the country is and how very crucial voting blocks are feeling at any point in time. And when you have nearly two-thirds of Americans polled 60 to 40, right? I mean, a 20-point margin. It's not like, oh, it's well within the margin of error, you know, majority technically. No, 60-40 saying the Democrats should stop with the TDS and just let Trump do what he's going to do. After all, we voted for this last year, didn't we, in 2024?
Starting point is 00:21:22 We voted for the agenda. It's time for the Democrats to allow Trump to enact his agenda. And it's not just me saying it. It's an overwhelming majority of Americans who are saying it. Now, we're going to get to a little bit more polling in just a second that came out of Turning Point USA's America Fest, which again, we talk about polling. It gives us the sentiment. It gives us a little bit of an indicator on how people are feeling.
Starting point is 00:21:51 and the turning point poll we talk about young people very young beautiful people young people and how they're feeling what they want to see that's the future of the country so we might want to pay attention to what they're saying and this poll about immigration is bad for the democrats but before we do that i want to get to a word from our friends over at helix we love helix during this colder season listen spending way more time inside and honestly the bedroom has become the happy place The secret? The Helix mattress. Before Helix, nights were rough. I'd wake up too hot, toss and turn for hours and deal with back pain every single morning. And we got the Helix sleep quiz, took that Helix sleep quiz, got matched with the perfect mattress and everything changed. Now I'm sleeping cooler. I'm sleeping deeper. And I wake up feeling refreshed, ready to take on the day. With the holidays around the corner, good sleep matters more than ever. Between family gatherings, shopping, and all the do not forget to treat yourself to better rest my guest even asked what mattress i have and that's what it is helix helix sleep.com we love it helix ships free across the united states comes with a 120
Starting point is 00:23:02 night sleep trial and a limited lifetime warranty no stress just amazing sleep and now helix is offering a 25% discount off site wide go to helix sleep.com slash vince for 25% off sitewide that is helix sleep.com Vince for 25% off sitewide. Make sure to enter the show name Vince into the post-purchase survey so they know we sent you Helixleep.com slash Vince. Thank you, Helix, being a part of the show and we'll get to a little bit more polling here. You can tell I kind of geek out about numbers sometimes, right? It's one of these things.
Starting point is 00:23:42 I did the Zelda election by hand in New York back in 2022. Let's get to a poll that came out of turning point. USA's America Fest, right? 90%. This is insane. I mean, this is as close to unanimous as you're going to get. And I want to know who the 10% is who said the opposite. 90% of America Fest attendees want to halt all ALL immigration to the United States. 90%. 9 in 10 attendees of Turning Point USA's America Fest said that they want to halt all immigration. both illegal and legal to the United States. The straw poll, which was conducted at the First America Fest since TPA USA founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated in September, asked attendees, quote,
Starting point is 00:24:32 would you support a moratorium on new immigration into the United States, about nine and ten attendees who are overwhelmingly young conservatives? That's important, said they support an immigration moratorium, while just 10.5% of attendees said they disagreed. The straw poll also asked attendees what the biggest threats are facing the United States. The number one threat ranked by attendees was radical Islam. By the way, appropriate. It's a huge problem in our country, which has made its way into American communities, mostly through immigration. You know, we had to hear from Joe Biden and the Democrat Party that, oh, you know, the border's open.
Starting point is 00:25:14 We owe it to the rest of the world. They have to come in here. They're just looking for a better life. you don't, like, think that these people who want to do us harm, that they're not going to stare at a wide open border and go, that's a great opportunity to go infiltrate the United States of America. Of course they are. 18,000 of them are in the country now, according to the Department of Homeland Security. And you've got, you know, you have the FBI. They're doing a good job, by the way, deputy director, Director Patel, Deputy Director Bonjino, only for a limited time now,
Starting point is 00:25:46 right following radical Islam as the biggest threat were communism and mass migration the straw pole found radical Islam and mass migration essentially going hand in hand and by the way communism and Marxism too because it's like this new brand of Islamo Marxism you know you see what Zoran Mamdani is doing in New York City is that Islam al-Marxist kind of blend that they've put together I would say it's pretty accurate radical Islam the number one threat to America is a testament to Charlie Kirk, according to Blake Neffon X, who was deeply concerned with that topic in the final months of his life. Very few people were concerned about America's low birth rate, though.
Starting point is 00:26:24 And that's a topic of conversation people should be concerned about as well. By the way, for all of the Internet haters out there who, you know, like to complain about Israel and all of this, foreign influence operations, which I guess would be, you know, oh, APEC! Everything is APEC. everything if it rains it was apex like no it rained well how do you know the falling water wasn't an apak siop because rain happens that's how i know jewish water jewish water falling from the sky foreign influence operations ranked 14th out of 17 issues so uh take that for what it's worth
Starting point is 00:27:00 and that's a straw poll turning point USA young conservatives you know so there's this narrative that's going around right now but uh yeah that's for another day nine out of 10 say that All immigration should be halted. And, you know, maybe a year or two ago, I might have looked at that and said, we don't need to halt all of it. We can still let legal immigrants come in. But I've reached the point of, you know, of the process now where I say, you know, I kind of think we're full, right?
Starting point is 00:27:30 The United States were full. There's like 10 or 20 or 30 or 40 million illegal aliens in our country. You know, people who shouldn't be here, they have no legal right to be here. You've got the whole Somali situation going on in Minnesota. Nine. Could you believe this $9 billion of alleged fraud that these Somalis, you know, took part in in Minnesota? Nine billion dollars. They looted the federal Medicaid program.
Starting point is 00:28:01 They distributed all these funds in the federal Medicaid program to the state of Minnesota. Nine billion dollars. And look, I'm one of these people. I don't love social programs. I'm not into the whole, you know, tax and give it to people and all this. Our social programs in this country were designed to help American citizens who are down on their luck having a hard time. I know some people who may have been on these programs for a little bit. And they needed a hand up, not a handout, right?
Starting point is 00:28:30 They needed a hand up, not a handout. These programs are not designed to support the lives of refugees that pour into our country from third world, you know, assholes, for lack of. of a better term. And Trump calls him that and they go nuts when he calls him. How dare you? Well, if it wasn't an asshole, why'd you leave? Right? I mean, if it's so good in Somalia, I mean, you could go back, right? Ilhan, some people did something. Go back. Go back if it's so bad in the United States. No, they never go back. They're not going to leave. They're going to come here. They're going to pillage. They're going to loot this country. And that's exactly what they're doing. Now, I'm not saying every immigrant does this. That's not the truth. Okay.
Starting point is 00:29:11 But the fact of the matter is, if you walk into a hotel and you beg and you plead and you get on your knees, but I'll clean your toilets and I'll make your beds and I'll cook your meals, sorry, I can't give you a room because we have no rooms available. We are full. Now, I'm not saying we need to permanently halt all immigration, but I think for at least a foreseeable future, we need to make it very difficult for people to come into our country. We don't have the space.
Starting point is 00:29:39 we just don't and supply and demand would teach you when you have a finite supply right there's a cap on how much housing is available in this country until you build more houses there's a cap on how much food is available in this country there's a cap on on you know the the availability of health care and resources hospital beds emergency rooms etc and it's it's designed to accommodate a certain amount of people okay when you throw 20 30, 40 million additional people into the equation, you are creating so much more demand. What happens when you create more demand? Price goes up, cost goes up, everything goes through the roof.
Starting point is 00:30:22 Why are we seeing a massive increase in the cost of living, the cost of homes, the rents are going through the roof now? Why? Because there's so much competition. And golden rule, you want to make the price of something go up? Have government subsidize it. Every single time. Government doesn't subsidize the cost of televisions.
Starting point is 00:30:42 What's happened? You can go to Walmart right now for $150 and walk out of there with a 43-inch television. It may not be the best one, but it'll work. You can watch whatever you want to watch on it. Government subsidizes education. Government subsidizes health care. Government subsidizes housing. Government subsidizes in many cases, in some cases food.
Starting point is 00:31:00 And what are we seeing? We've seen the cost of those things through the roof. so the golden rule you want to make the cost of something skyrocket have government just start printing money you know making it rain here you go free money for you
Starting point is 00:31:15 free money for you and you and you and you as well it's like Oprah you get a subsidy you get a subsidy but the subsidy doesn't do anything A the money's basically not real and B what the government does at that point in time is they basically set the floor of the market
Starting point is 00:31:30 hey this is what it's going to cost that minimum you know you have an apartment building let's say with, I don't know, 100 units in it, right? One tenant, one landlord owns the entire building, 100 units. And he blocks off 10 of them for affordable housing, right? Let's say he's charging everybody in that building, $600 a month for an identical unit, $600 a month, one bedroom apartment, 100 units in the building. 10 of those units are now earmarked for affordable housing.
Starting point is 00:31:59 And the government decides, we're going to give you $1,000 if you're in, you know, you're getting your housing subsidized. We're going to give you $1,000 to spend on housing. Guess what the cost of that unit now is in that building? $1,000. Why? Because the government's giving people free money. And if they price out somebody who's not getting their apartment subsidized,
Starting point is 00:32:20 they know the government will just subsidize it with somebody else, and they'll get that thousand from the government. Don't you see how this is a problem? Health care, same deal. And we'll touch on that in a second, you know, with the shutdown looming. you want to make the cost of something go through the roof government subsidizes it we don't have the space we don't have the availability we're full and so 90% 90% of these young conservatives want a moratorium on immigration and i have to agree with them i have to agree with them we are full we cannot take
Starting point is 00:32:55 anybody right now maybe after some deportations if we've got some room maybe we can take you then but for now uh-uh we're full i'm sorry but uh you're going to have to try again later all right quick break and uh then we're going to have some fun at the expense of chuck todd we can have some fun at the expense of bernie sanders you know i don't think the i don't think the bunch you know army has has heard that i dabble in bernie sanders you do dabble i dabble we'll see what happens uh and and of course um how about the announcement of the trump class war warship, the greatest warships in the history of the world. You know, they call me a pirate king, so we'll talk about it. But first, a word from our friends over at American financing.
Starting point is 00:33:41 Folks, the Fed dropped rates for the fourth time. And if you're a homeowner, you should call American financing today. You could be saving real money every month. High interest debt is crushing budgets across the country, but homeowners who act now are using their equity to wipe it out. American financing customers are saving an average of $800 a month with some getting rates in the low fives. A massive difference compared to credit cards charging 20% or more. Speak with a salary-based mortgage consultant and find out exactly what you qualify for. There are never any upfront fees to find out how much you could save. Move quickly and you could even delay two mortgage payments putting cash back in your pocket immediately, giving you back some
Starting point is 00:34:25 of the money you spent during the holidays. Call American financing today. The sooner you act, the quicker you can save. It's 888-879-64-60. That is 888-879-64-60. Americanfinancing.net slash Vince NMLS-182-334-NMLS Consumer Access.org. APR for rates in the 5 start at 6.196% for well-qualified borrowers. Call 888-879-640 or Americanfinancing.net slash Vince for details about credit costs and terms. And now a word from our friends over at Hillsdale, Hillsdale College. There's so much
Starting point is 00:35:08 confusion in the world today that it can be hard to find clarity and truth. A new Hillsdale College miniseries on Colonial America offers a powerful reminder that the first Americans were searching for the same things. It's a stirring look at the ideas that still hold us together today. In a brand new six-part documentary series, Hillsdale College, professors will teach you the religious, political, cultural, and economic ideas that shaped a uniquely American culture during the colonial period. You'll learn why the idea of religious liberty inspired the settlers of America to cross the Atlantic, how Americans organized local governments, and why America has always been a land where virtue can lead to peace and prosperity.
Starting point is 00:35:55 This Hillsdale College miniseries is completely free, and it is extremely easy to access. Hillsdale offers more than 40 other free online courses, including a course on C.S. Lewis, the stories in the book of Genesis, and the rise and fall of the Roman Republic. Listen, I talked to Vince a lot. He's a tremendous guy, and he told me he loves the Colonial America course here on Hillsdale College. And we all know Vince has great taste. So go to Hillsdale.edu slash Vince to enroll. There's no cost, and it's easy to get started. That is Hillsdale.edu slash Vince to enroll for free. Hillsdale.edu slash Vince.
Starting point is 00:36:34 Thank you, Hillsdale College. We appreciate it. And onwards and upwards we go. Let's talk about this January 30th deadline, shall we? It looks like the Democrats are once again getting ready to shut the government down. And I have been a staunch defender of the filibuster, and my defense is starting to wear out. you know oh but if the democrats get it and there's no filibuster they're going to pack the they're going to do it anyway they're going to do it anyway we might as well just end this thing
Starting point is 00:37:06 on our terms because they're we just showed you 62 percent of democrats believe that they should just obstruct because they don't like Donald Trump right they should just obstruct Donald Trump's agenda obstruct what he wants to do get in the way of governing instead of taking that wait and see approach January 30th is on the horizon it's just over a month away and we may have another government shutdown on our hands about the same thing that it was about the last go-around. The Obamacare subsidies,
Starting point is 00:37:37 and specifically, you know, they want to make sure that the illegal aliens get those subsidies too, which, by the way, was happening. You look at states like New York, you look at states like California, a lot of other blue states around the country, Minnesota, cough-cough, the Somali problem,
Starting point is 00:37:52 where you have federal matching funds coming out of the Medicaid program, right? and the Medicare program, the states that are giving illegal aliens health care are being reimbursed by the federal government. So yes, the federal government, through the Affordable Care Act, through Medicaid, Medicare,
Starting point is 00:38:10 is footing the bill for illegal aliens to get taxpayer-funded health care. But I have a question that nobody on the left has found a way to answer, okay? And this is the old, you know, the Dan Bongino Moneyball theory, right? If he's such a good hitter, how come he doesn't hit good, right? If he's such a good hitter, why doesn't he hit good?
Starting point is 00:38:36 If the Affordable Care Act made health care affordable, then why is health care unaffordable? It's really a simple question, right? You have these COVID-era subsidies that were put in place during the pandemic, right? and the Democrats designed them to expire. I like to compare it to when you feel kind of cruddy, maybe you have a cold, right? You go to your pharmacy, CVS, Walgreens, wherever you go.
Starting point is 00:39:06 Give a little day quill. Yeah, your cold is gone at about five to seven days. If you're lucky, if you're me, it's gone at about four months. But once your cold is gone, do you keep chugging dayquil? Do you like the way it tastes? Is it something that you just enjoy? right so you you go you pick up your day cool you pick up your cold meds your cold is gone you don't keep taking your cough and cold medication if you don't have a cough and cold right so if these
Starting point is 00:39:34 covid era subsidies were for the covid era and the covid era is over then there should be no reason to have the subsidies anymore right i would think so i would say that's fair and it shouldn't be a problem right it shouldn't be an issue because we would just go back to the original Affordable Care Act subsidies. After all, the Affordable Care Act should make health care affordable. That's the name Affordable Care Act. But we're being told now that if you take away the enhanced subsidies for the Affordable Care Act, that health care would not be affordable anymore.
Starting point is 00:40:13 That's the unaffordable care act, as Donald Trump likes to call it. So, I mean, a couple weeks ago when the government was reopened, Bernie Sanders was on the floor and and he was just you know he was doing what he normally does and he's waving his finger it's like he's on puppet string sometimes he does this but he was like our health care system is broken and i'm like bro Bernie it's your system you put this system in place you the democrats it was it was it was it was a 100% Democrat thing Republicans didn't vote for the ACA for Obamacare. Our health care system, people are going to die. People are going to, how do we get there? First of all, people are going to die. This is the Democrats' baby. This is Obama's, you know,
Starting point is 00:41:03 his, is like big-time piece of legislation. This is his signature piece of legislation, Obamacare. You're telling me that the Affordable Care Act didn't solve the health care problem, didn't solve the affordability crisis in the health care industry? Well, I'll tell you, we told you one of the golden rules, right? If you want to make the cost of something skyrocket, if you want to make the cost of something skyrocket, have government subsidize it. So look, the Republicans are trying to offer kind of an alternative to this now,
Starting point is 00:41:36 where instead of the money going directly to the insurance companies, the money goes to the people. Now, if it was up to me, and I could wave a magic wand, which I wish I had. I don't have a magic wand, but if I could wave a magic wand, I would take government out of health care. I don't believe government belongs in health care. Why don't we treat health care like we're treating education? Leave it up to the states. It's not listed in the Constitution as one of the enumerated powers. That is something that the states should be handling at the state level. Get the federal government out of health care.
Starting point is 00:42:07 But seeing as how that's not the case right now, the Affordable Care Act is in place, why are we sending all of these subsidies directly to the insurance companies? You know, Senator Marsha Blackburn, who's running for governor here in the state of Tennessee, came out and said there's actually been a ton of fraudulent enrollments in health care plans on the health care.gov marketplace where there are people who are enrolled in plans, let's say, with United Health Care, okay, that they either, A, don't know that they're enrolled or B, aren't actually enrolled at all. Well, those insurance companies are just getting money, free money for these people who aren't even technically, they may not exist, they may not want to be enrolled, they may not know that they're enrolled, but these insurance companies are getting free money.
Starting point is 00:42:53 Why not give the money directly to the people? Get rid of the health care.gov marketplace and let the people choose which company they want to buy health insurance from. You know what happens if you do that? Take a look at your cell phone, right? How many times you see these commercials? If you switch to so-and-so, we'll give you this, that, and the other. We'll give you an introductory deal. Cable, internet, whatever it is. I used to sell direct TV.
Starting point is 00:43:17 You know, we would have a promotional rate for two years. And we would add some premium channels and the NFL Sunday ticket and all of these things. We would add value to win over the business from the consumer. That's exactly what will happen if you get the money directly to the hands. of the people. You will have these insurance companies instead of feeling like they are entitled to your business. Instead of feeling like, well, you know, we're on the health care marketplace, so we have a leg up on some of these other companies. They will have to compete with everybody who's offering health insurance across the United States. You should be allowed to sell and
Starting point is 00:43:54 purchase health care across state lines. The more competition that you have, the lower the cost will be. The CBO, which got tariffs completely wrong, says that the Republican-led health care plan would save upwards of $30 billion with a B dollars for the U.S. taxpayer and lower health care premiums by 11%. And I believe that's low-balling it. I believe that's low-balling it. Look, I want government out of health care,
Starting point is 00:44:22 but if they're going to be involved, give the money directly to the people. Give the money directly to the people and let the people spend it where they want and make these insurance companies have to compete for our business. Make them earn it instead of them being entitled to your business because they're listed in the health care exchange. January 30th is coming up and it is going to be very interesting to see if the government shuts down again.
Starting point is 00:44:52 Or if John Thune decides that he's going to maybe push to nuke the filibuster. or you have a couple of Republicans. Mark Wayne Mullen is now on board with this idea. Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin is on board with this idea. He's like, John Thune came out. It's, oh, you know, we don't know if the Democrats are going to play ball. Well, you know what, cut them out of the process at this point. You know what they want to do.
Starting point is 00:45:17 We just talked about that poll where the majority of their party believes obstructing is the right thing to do. That's it. Cut them out of the process. They want to participate after that. Good. If not, we don't need you. We don't need you. Of course, it's going to rely on.
Starting point is 00:45:29 We have to rely on Republicans to actually do their job, which is, you know, a shot in the dark as well. But January 30th is on the horizon with regards to a potential second government shutdown. And you know, the mainstream media is going to, they're going to flip out over it. Right? The first go around, we had the sombreros. They went around. Hakeem Jeffries, the whole nine yards. El Hakeem.
Starting point is 00:45:51 We called him El Hakema. And he was horrible. El Hafe, but he's not El Hafe. El He means the boss. He's not the boss of anything. and he has a small sombril and a small teepee and he's just a very stupid person I have to say and he's very embarrassed about it and he doesn't like to talk about it but the media was you know they were trying to blame Republicans for we had the filibuster how ironic is it now
Starting point is 00:46:15 Chuck Todd was out there whining moaning about how the media has lost trust how the media has has you know and it's like oh it's unfair these internet algorithms it's not it's not that it's you let's play this clip of chuck todd groveling complaining that the media has lost credibility let's roll that i always say i'm i'm as good as the sources i have not necessarily the sources i want at times um to borrow a phrase from uh the late donald rumsfeld meaning um if you're getting untrustworthy sources you may be reporting untrustworthy information right you get my drift here And so I think that the collapse of trust in overall institutions, the media in some ways is a reflection of that distrust. And so that we may be reporting what the quote unquote experts tell us.
Starting point is 00:47:09 But if the public doesn't trust those experts, and then we in the media are quoting those experts, they don't trust us too. It's sort of across the board. And what you have now, I would argue, Tom, is essentially the left doesn't trust the media now and the right doesn't trust the media. We are in this, you know, siloed world. I put the blame on big tech and algorithms. Puts the blame on big tech and algorithms. No. Nope, nope, nope.
Starting point is 00:47:37 I think the blame rests squarely on the shoulders of people like Chuck Todd. This is from the great, highly, highly respected, extremely talented, Maismore on X, a little side by side. Chuck Todd talking about the Hunter Biden laptop and then wagging his finger and you spread misinformation. Yeah, let's roll that one. Chuck Todd passing the buck here. Instead of Roger Stone and WikiLeaks, it's Rudy Giuliani and some computer guy in Delaware. So this didn't work. So he'll try another planted story or another, you know, Russian, uh, you some other, you know, discredited Russian propaganda. And for those of you spreading
Starting point is 00:48:18 misinformation, shame on you. Shame on you. I don't know how some of you sleep at night who are doing this for a living. on television. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. The reason why I'm giggling, okay, is because you heard him in the first clip saying, well, I'm only as good as my sources.
Starting point is 00:48:39 Yeah. You want to know who is, remember this? You want to know who his sources were? Pencilneck, watermelon head, bug eyes. It's an engineering marvel. You look at that tiny little neck. It's holding up that big head. Shifty shift, right?
Starting point is 00:48:54 he's a shift head we call him a shift head uh shift for brains right think about it well that was chuck todd source during rushagate he's only as good as the sources that he has your source was adam schiff so you suck play this one from chuck todd i got to ask you something that you said also to me on sunday is that you took you thought that at the time former uh director of national intelligence and James Clapper was too definitive when he said no evidence of collusion at the time that he served through January, essentially January 20th of this year. What basis can you feel confident saying that the Director of National Intelligence oversold something? Well, look, I don't think it was deliberate on the director's part, but all I can tell
Starting point is 00:49:47 you is reviewing the evidence that I have. I don't think you can conclude that at all, far from it. But you admit it's a circum, all you have right now is a circumstantial case. Actually, no, Chuck. I can tell you that the case is more than that. And I can't go into the particulars, but there is more than circumstantial evidence now. So again, I think... So you have seen direct evidence of collusion?
Starting point is 00:50:16 I don't want to go into specifics, but I will say that there is evidence that is not circumstantial. and is very much worthy of investigation. So that is what we ought to do. Not circumstantial, huh? Chuck Todd, we're only as good as the sources, but it's the Internet's fault that the media has lost trust. Yeah, it's a bunch of bull.
Starting point is 00:50:40 You know what I'm doing? Sign language, that's not sign language or BS, actually, but it is for me, right? Bull, and then on the backside of the bull, you have an issue. Okay? Hockey. There you go. Operation Tootsy Row, we called it, right?
Starting point is 00:50:52 that? When Crooked Joe Biden went in front of the Pope, you're not supposed to do that. But he did it at the Vatican, no good. Not a good thing to do. Why is the mainstream media losing credibility? We got one more. It's, uh, Rachel, I call her Rachel Mad Cowell. You look at her. And I haven't seen her and Stephen Colbert in the same room. They are the same person. Just like Jim Acosta and Rosie O'Donnell. They look like the same person, but the submarine porthole glasses. Remember this? The vaccine it stops the virus. What a load of nonsense that was.
Starting point is 00:51:26 Roll this from from Rachel Mad Cow. Okay. This is her telling you that with every vaccinated person, the COVID virus and transmission stops. So we will not have that problem. Roll it. It means that instead of the vaccine being able, excuse me, it means instead of the virus being able to hop from person to person to person to person,
Starting point is 00:51:47 spreading and spreading, sickening some of them, but not all of them. And the ones that it doesn't sicken, don't know they have it, and then they give it to even more people, because they didn't recognize. Instead of the virus being able to hop from person to person to person, potentially mutating and becoming more virulent and drug-resistant along the way, now we know that the vaccines work well enough, that the virus stops with every vaccinated person. A vaccinated person gets exposed to the virus.
Starting point is 00:52:16 The virus does not infect them. The virus cannot then use that person to go anywhere. else. It cannot use a vaccinated person as a host to go get more people. That's me. That aged well. That age like gas station sushi. That age like, oh my God. That age like milk. And milk, for what, you know, it doesn't age well, unless you try to make cheese, then milk ages beautifully. I mean, what? That aged about as well as Martha ratits his face the talking catchers met right the that does that make any sense i remember when the whole vaccine thing was going on i was like wait a minute so you mean to tell me that like if i get this
Starting point is 00:53:02 vaccine which we don't know anything about and i come in contact with the virus the virus like knows it can't what i i don't if i cough i can't get anyone how does that work and she believed that and even worse there were people who believe that so when chuck todd wants to say all the rhythms in the internet no it's it's you it's you go get a mirror okay take a look in it the face that you see staring back at you which is a very ugly face you look at it the face that you see looking back in the mirror that's the person to blame for the fact that your institutions aren't trusted anymore how about the fact that anthony fouchy and the hardcore left during 2020 I wanted you to believe that some dude's old pair of boxers, right,
Starting point is 00:53:51 that you could buy in Costco. You're 25 cents a sheet and you'd get like 100 of them, okay, could stop this super deadly scary pandemic. Give me a break. That's why the institutions and the trust in those institutions has been eroded because you sold us a load on nonsense and told us blindly trust the experts. Well, when the experts are telling me things that don't make sense, I don't trust them.
Starting point is 00:54:17 Sorry. And I was in New York for all this, and we had to deal with the LoveGov, Andrew Cuomo. We don't want to put people on ventilators. Andrew Cuomo, who declared randomly Buffalo Wings didn't count as food, but soup did in order to keep people out of the bars. Just insane. These people are nuts, and they only have themselves to blame for the fact that other people are figuring out that they're nuts. okay finally we've had these stories about these I could not believe it when I heard about it a couple weeks ago right these seized tankers I was like
Starting point is 00:54:55 so like where do we get the authority to just take another country ship you know and I could do that they say speak softly but carry a big stick right and I have the biggest stick you know that and they call me King Donald with the biggest the most beautiful sceptor the world has ever seen everybody knows about it but I you know I look into this and it's so there are processes if you sanction an oil tanker and then they go ahead
Starting point is 00:55:20 and violate U.S. sanction laws like that first one. They said they were using the U.S. financial system. The tanker can be seized. I said, you know, this is interesting. And now we did it again a couple of days ago. They took another one. And that is a third one that we're going after. And I'm just going, all right. The president of the United States is a pirate. I love this. I think it's great. And I don't mean that in a bad way. I love pirates. But I'm just sitting there thinking,
Starting point is 00:55:47 should we lean into this? It's the perfect time to bring back sea shanties. Sea shanty. Soon may the Wellermen come to bring us sugar and tea and rum. What would you do with a drunken sailor? Right? You put him in the brig until he's sober. I know all the sea shanties.
Starting point is 00:56:03 And by the way, they call me the pirate king. Check this out, right? They call me the pirate king. That's it. The pirate king is here. We have our own fleet I got along very well with They called him Blackbeard
Starting point is 00:56:17 You're not allowed to say that I call him beard of color Right think about it And got along well with him Captain Kidd Got along well with him too And We're going to make you walk the plank
Starting point is 00:56:28 If you mess around You know we say F around and find out We're going to make you walk the plank And I have the biggest plank The world has ever seen We're not going to make Chris Christie walk the plank Though he's going to break the plank We're going to slowly lower them
Starting point is 00:56:39 into the water if we have to throw them overboard we have to be careful because you throw them too hard it's going to create what's called a tsunami and you don't want to deal with that but the pirate king is here of asked you scurvy dogs your scurvy dogs very scurvy swab the poop deck
Starting point is 00:56:56 crooked Joe Biden knows a thing or two about the poop deck he treated the Vatican like the poop deck it was the only time the pope ever uttered the words holy sugar honey iced tea and I said to him Mr. Pope, you're not supposed to say that, he says, sir. Mr. Pope, you're not supposed to say that. The Pirate King. What do you think?
Starting point is 00:57:19 What do you think? That's good. I like that. Hoist the colors, maids. Yo-ho, yo-ho. A pirate's life for me. Think about it. All right, we're coming up on the end of this one. Guys and gals, I hope you had a good time, and I hope you have a very merry Christmas
Starting point is 00:57:33 as we close in on the most wonderful time of the year, It's the most beautiful time of the year. You know, I love the fact that the pirate king is now, he's got his own battleships named after him now, the Trump class warship. And the speech that he gave, he was like, it's the big, I can't, and I love Trump. I cannot count how many times he said it's the biggest, the fastest, the strongest, the greatest. Even the Navy secretary was like, yeah, these ships are going to be the best, top of their class, and the best looking.
Starting point is 00:58:00 It's like Trump was probably elbowing him. Make sure you say they look nice, right? Make sure you say they look nice. I really appreciate the opportunity on behalf of the whole silver line. team that gave this opportunity to me you know i told you the dan bonjino origin story uh my first time filling in for vince a couple of years ago means the world to be able to be doing this for you with you uh and uh it kind of as a full circle moment for me right sitting on the tapancy bridge in 2018 now we're here in tennessee and uh and hanging out with the bonjino army right before
Starting point is 00:58:31 right before christmas season i want to say thank you again to the entire silver lock team gie justin and who's involved in making this happen. This means the world to me.
