Starting point is 00:00:00 Get ready to hear the truth about America on a show that's not immune to the facts with your host, Dan Bongino. So why do liberals believe so much dumb stuff? You know, it's fairly obvious when you see the story that went nuclear yesterday about this guy at NPR. NPR, of course, the left-wing outlet largely funded by taxpayers, contrary to what they'll tell you. This guy comes out, this Uri Berliner guy, and he's like, listen, NPR, they don't have a Republican on the entire editorial board. Why do liberals believe so much dumb stuff? Well, now you know, because they never, ever hear from anyone outside of their own bubble. I'm going to show you what I mean and give you absolute concrete examples of why your
Starting point is 00:00:51 liberal friends are morons. And I'm going to show you why in relationship to this story. Also, Vanity Fair freaking out about Donald Trump 2.0. This is a good one. They are losing their minds. I told you. Today's show is sponsored by Blackout Coffee. Stop giving your money to those woke companies that don't support our values. Support Blackout
Starting point is 00:01:07 Coffee. Go to blackoutcoffee.com slash Bongino. Use coupon code Bongino for 20% off your first order. Big show for you today. And again, I'll reiterate what I said yesterday. Do not debate your liberal friends on an away field. Always bring them back to the home field, facts and reality. And I promise you, you'll never lose. Using the internet without ExpressVPN is like walking your dog in public without securing it on a leash, the doggy. Most of the time, you're probably okay,
Starting point is 00:01:33 but what if they run away and you lose them? They get dognapped. It's better to be careful, especially when it's as simple as using ExpressVPN. Every time you connect to an unencrypted network in cafes, hotels, airports, your online data is not secured. Any hacker on that network can gain access to and steal your personal data.
Starting point is 00:01:49 ExpressVPN creates a secure encrypted tunnel between your device and the Internet so they can. They take a hacker with a supercomputer over a billion years to get past ExpressVPN's encryption. ExpressVPN works on all your devices, phones, laptops, tablets, even your smart TV. It's easy to use. Just fire up the app, click one button, and get protected. I don't want the government watching what I'm doing online because I don't trust them. You shouldn't, too.
Starting point is 00:02:11 Get an extra three months of ExpressVPN free at expressvpn.com slash bongino. It's expressvpn.com slash bongino. Expressvpn.com slash bongino. Go today. All right, fellas, let's go. Why do liberals believe dumb shit? I said the gee yesterday.
Starting point is 00:02:32 I put the whole show together. I sent out all the show prep emails. I'm finally, like, getting ready to cool out. I'm putting my protein shake together. By the way, if you want the recipe, it's on Locals. You can watch a couple videos back. I showed you how protein shake together. By the way, if you want the recipe, it's on Locals. You can watch a couple videos back. I showed you how I do it. And that's like the time of the day, like 5 p.m., where everything kind of goes tranquilo.
Starting point is 00:02:52 And this NPR article goes nuclear. I'll get to it in a minute, the gist of it is what I said before. This insider at NPR, this left-wing Al, it's like, you know, there's no Republicans here at all. And this thing went nuclear because he basically said what we already knew, that left-wing newsrooms are full of left-wingers. But it really harps on something I've been trying to hammer home into your cerebral cortex for a really long time, that liberals believe a lot of dumb stuff that is factually inaccurate.
Starting point is 00:03:28 And now you know why. Because the minute you enter the newsroom of a media outlet that's broadcasting to millions of people and say, hey man, is that thing you said about COVID, masks, police violence, police hunting down black men, taxes, Is that actually true? The goons in the left-wing newsroom without a single Republican there instantly respond with revulsion and kick you out of the newsroom, as this insider said. I want to just set the playing field, show you what I mean right here. Why if you argue on their playing field, you will always lose. Now, when you're talking about police in America on their playing field,
Starting point is 00:04:08 instantly the idea is that police are hunting randomly black men and shooting them down in the streets. Nobody's going to defend that. If you accept that faulty premise from the beginning, of course you're going to look like a defender of immorality. I don't want that. What are you talking about? That's not true. Why do liberals like a defender of immorality. I don't want, what are you talking about? That's not true.
Starting point is 00:04:26 Why do liberals believe a lot of dumb shit? Because they're told the same thing by liberals all the time. We never challenge them. Here, are police hunting down black men in the street randomly? I'm sure NPR and others will tell you that. But when you look at the actual studies here, you'll see 8 in 10 African American survey responders believe that young black men are more likely to be shot to death by the police than to die in a traffic accident. One in 10 disagrees. Among a highly educated sample of liberal whites, more than
Starting point is 00:04:54 six in 10 agree. In reality, considerably more young African-American men die in car accidents than are shot to death by police. Considerably more. Why do they believe that? Because left-wing newsrooms tell them that and nobody challenges them in the newsroom. Let's go to another one. This popped yesterday. Same day. I'm putting together the show yesterday, America's secret progressive income tax. Here's another one. You ask liberals, are black men being shot in the street or are more black men being run over by the car? Police are shooting them dead everywhere. It's not true.
Starting point is 00:05:27 It's not true. They believe in an alternate reality. Look at this thing with the income tax. Why do liberals want to tax you more or think they want to tax you more? Because if you're successful, they don't think you pay any taxes. Look at this. A new poll. Why do liberals believe dumb shit?
Starting point is 00:05:43 Because dumb people tell them dumb shit. To the best of your knowledge, they ask these folks in a new poll. Why do liberals believe dumb shit? Because dumb people tell them dumb shit. To the best of your knowledge, they asked these folks in a new poll, how much do you think the top 1% of taxpayers by income accounts for in terms of the total federal income taxes paid? In other words, how much of the income tax load do the wealthy people pay? The correct answer is 42%. The top 1% of earners pay 42% of the income taxes. But get a load of this.
Starting point is 00:06:09 You're liberal friends or morons, but less than a quarter of those surveyed guessed right. 22%, including more than a third of Democrats, thought the top 1% of taxpayers paid only 1% of income taxes. Only off by a factor of 42. 25% suggested it was 12% of revenue. 19% shrugged and said they weren't sure. They're not even close. Why do your liberal friends believe dumb stuff? Because they're told dumb stuff by people at NPR. Here's a gem here, another one from the Wall Street Journal piece. 71% of the people in the poll, they said, hey, what should these rich people pay?
Starting point is 00:06:57 They said, listen, 71% said they should pay 30% or less. Really? The top income tax rate already is 37%. So the same people who think they want to tax you more are actually recommending a 7 percentage point tax cut. You're dealing with idiots, man. You're dealing with freaking idiots. Do you understand? Everybody understand?
Starting point is 00:07:21 Can we get a group hug together? Here, watch this segment from Bill Maher. Bill Maher, the dude's not our friend, folks. The dude's a lefty. But here's a segment from the Bill Maher show about COVID. Your dopey liberal friends who believe COVID wipes out 75% of people or whatever infect them. They're all lunatics. They believe dumb shit. Why? Because dopey people in the media tell them dumb shit and nobody ever challenges it. Watch this. What about liberals? You know, the high information by the science people. In a recent Gallup survey, Democrats did much worse than Republicans in getting the right answer to the fundamental question, what are the chances that someone
Starting point is 00:08:02 who gets COVID will need to be hospitalized? The answer is between 1 and 5 percent. 41 percent of Democrats thought it was over 50 percent. Another 28 percent put the chances at 20 to 49. So almost 70 percent of Democrats are wildly off on this key question and also have a greatly exaggerated view of the danger of COVID-2 and the mortality rate among children. Folks, here's the actual study here. You can look at it yourself. Again, we do freaking facts and data on this show. We don't do misinformation and bullshit. Your liberal friends, I'm sorry, are idiots. They are idiots. Look at the infection fatality rate in this study. It's nowhere close to what your moron liberal friends believe. They believe in an alternate reality where police are randomly firing on black men in the street and mowing them down. COVID's killing, you know, hospitalizing 40% of people. The rich pay 1% of the tax rate.
Starting point is 00:09:15 This is all factually incorrect. Any idiot can actually go and look it up. So why do they believe this dumb stuff? Well, they believe it because of this NPR, Yuri Berlin or individual that won nuclear yesterday on Bari Weiss's podcast. Free Press covered it. Guy says, I've been at NPR 25 years. Here's how we lost America's trust. He notes that the Hunter Biden laptop store, you know, NPR, the publicly funded national public radio. By the way, NPR, leave that up there.
Starting point is 00:09:52 NPR loves to claim that it's a small portion of government funding that goes into its coffers. That's BS. It's a large portion. A lot of it are projects and grants and things like that. And also contracts they have. Don't believe it. A lot of your tax money goes to and things like that, and also contracts they have. Don't believe it. A lot of your tax money goes to NPR. Guy notes he was there.
Starting point is 00:10:10 The Hunter Biden laptop story was newsworthy. But the timeless journalistic instinct of following a hot story lead was squelched at NPR. During a meeting with colleagues, he notes, I listened to what NPR's best and most fair-minded journalists say it was good we weren't following the Hunter laptop story because it could help Trump. Why do liberals believe dumb stuff? Because they surround themselves with a bunch of activists who actively lie to you. Listen, I get it. Republicans are not the solution to all your problems. Dan Bongino understands. Two thumbs and gets it, this guy. I get it. However, the cause of all your problems are Democrats.
Starting point is 00:10:51 And your Democrat activist friends in the media, yes, they're registered Democrats. Berliner noted, Uri Berliner, that the people in the newsroom were all Democrats. There wasn't a single Republican in their newsroom, in their editorial board. None of them. Because they choose to lie to you. Why are your liberal friends dumb? And why do they believe dumb stuff? Because dumb people tell them dumb stuff and no Republicans allowed in to correct them.
Starting point is 00:11:20 Here's the segment that lit up the internet yesterday. This is from Bari Weiss's podcast. Here's this insider at NPR talking about how bad left-wing journalism is right now at NPR. And think about it, folks. The left just sucks. They just suck it in. They know they're being lied to. Insiders are telling you you're being lied to. The data backs up you're being lied to.
Starting point is 00:11:43 And they keep sucking in the lies. Incredible. We have to live with this group of idiots. Here, check this out. We assumed Hillary Clinton was going to win and and she didn't. And it was really an unsettling experience. But I also think to me, it revealed that we didn't really understand a lot of what was going on in America that we were out of touch but I think also we we kind of locked down after a while I think after a while we started covering Trump in a way that that like a lot of legacy news news organizations that we were trying to damage his presidency, to even find anything we could to harm him. And I think what we latched onto was Russia collusion,
Starting point is 00:12:32 like a lot of news organizations, which was, as I write, sort of catnip, although it was just rumors, and a lot of it based on pretty shoddy documents or evidence. It wasn't really solid, but I think it was compelling. pretty shoddy documents or evidence. It wasn't really solid. But I think it was compelling. Why was it compelling, folks?
Starting point is 00:12:54 Why was it compelling? It was compelling because it damaged Donald Trump. This isn't journalism. This is agitation and propaganda. Listen, I got to tell you, man, can I be straight with you? Of course I can be straight. It's the best thing to do. I really debated even covering this because if you're in my chat right now,
Starting point is 00:13:11 I think we all know there's no revelation here. Oh, NPR is biased left-wing journalism, right? But I still believe it's important. And let me tell you why. I'm not a hypocrite here, okay? but I still believe it's important. And let me tell you why. I'm not a hypocrite here, okay? When I tell you we're not debating the left, the far left, we're debating for the third person listening, I mean it.
Starting point is 00:13:37 I have zero doubt that there are two corners in this fight. There's us in one corner. You got, you know, Tyson here and Lennox Lewis in the other. In one corner, we're like, why are we talking about this? We all know the left is full of shit and the news people are agitation propaganda people. We're not journalists. We get it. And in the other corner are lefties who they know they're being lied to and they want to maintain the lie because it damages Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:13:58 They don't care they're being lied to. But matter of fact, they actually welcome the lie if it damages Donald Trump. So you're probably thinking, well, what's the point? The point is my theory here that we're always debating for the third person. And I mean that person who comments on a tweet. Say you get into a fight with a liberal on Twitter, right? You get into a fight. You're never going to convince that liberal on Twitter. You've seen it. They'll just call you a racist or Nazi in the end anyway. But go read the comments. There's always a third person watching the interaction. And you're going to read a few comments where people, if you have a big following, are going to be like, man, that
Starting point is 00:14:34 guy makes sense. So however ridiculous it seems, because I know last night we were all struggling with putting this in the show. However ridiculous it seems to talk about, oh yeah, the left wing is biased. Look, this guy's admitting it in NPR. I want you to know it's still important we put this stuff out there because there's always a third party listening who may be like, gosh, that Bongino guy,
Starting point is 00:14:57 I was told he was a far right conspiracy theorist. Shit, he's been right. Police violence, COVID, masks, the Vax, tax rates. He's absolutely correct. Why are we so dumb? Well, now you know. This is how stuff like this flies. This is Kamala Harris talking about student loans.
Starting point is 00:15:17 This is how stuff like this in the left-wing ecosystem flies. They're talking about student loan cancellation. I brought it up yesterday, so I don't want to hammer this point endlessly. It's not canceled. I was happy to see Kat Tempt on Fox yesterday in the Cavuto show. Shelve this language of canceling student loans. They're not canceled. They're transferred. The money, the loan is transferred, the burden of the loan to you. It's not canceled. But notice, left-wing media doesn't challenge the verbiage at all. You're always playing on the away field. Here, listen to this.
Starting point is 00:15:48 Loans will be completely forgiven regardless of your income and even if you did not graduate. So I'm going to repeat that. If you've paid undergraduate loans for more than 20 years or graduate loans for more than 25 years, those loans will be completely forgiven regardless of your income and even if you did not graduate. And forgiveness will be automatic for the vast majority of the 25 million people that we believe will benefit from this approach.
Starting point is 00:16:19 Notice the language game that if we had an honest media, unlike Berliner points out in that NPR piece, if we had an honest media, none of this would fly. If Donald Trump was talking about loans being forgiven and canceled, I promise you, because they want to hurt Donald Trump, as this guy just testified to, this is what their goal is, not to do media. They would tell you nothing's canceled or forgiven. It's simply transferred to the taxpayer for you to pay off your neighbor's kid Samuel's student loans. It's simply transferred to the taxpayer for you to pay off your neighbor's kid Samuel's student loans. Folks, it's the weaponization of language is one of the most powerful things the left has. It's this euphemism game they play all the time.
Starting point is 00:16:57 Way to watch this because I got a lot of stuff to get to. Way to watch what I'm talking about here. This guy has gone viral for all the wrong reasons. There's a protest in Dearborn, Michigan. The death to America chant breaks out. Death to America. This reminds me of the peaceful protest BLM rallies where they were burning buildings down. People were getting hurt. People were getting beat up. Businesses were being looted, but they were called peaceful protests. I want you to watch these guys in their own words, called for death to America, which if you just listen to what they're saying is by nature not peaceful.
Starting point is 00:17:29 Listen to this. We've been asked in the past, why are our protests on the International Day of Quds, why are they so anti-America? Why don't we just focus more on Israel and not talk so much about America? Why don't we just focus more on Israel and not talk so much about America? Gaza has shown the entire world why these protests are so anti-America. Because it's the United States government that provides the funds for all of the atrocities that we just heard about. And this is why Imam Khomeini who declared the International Day of Quds, this is why he would say to pour all of your chants and all of your shouts upon the head of America. Al-Mawzi America! Al-Mawzi America! Al-Mawzi America!
Starting point is 00:18:26 Now I want you to listen to Karine Jean-Pierre's response to this in the Brady Pressman. I want you to keep in mind, if you say make America great again with a hat on and repeat those same things, make America great again. By the way, death to America. You would be in jail tomorrow and be under an FBI investigation, OK? But because it's a bunch of political advocates who they think they can gain their support in Dearborn, Michigan, to win an election, this is how Kareem Jean-Pierre answers the question. You see how the media outside of Fox and Jackie DeAngelis, you see how the media is totally hands off and never asks a serious question here? Watch this. The president is all concerned that Dearborn is becoming, is facing a risk of becoming a hotbed of any sort of homegrown threats?
Starting point is 00:19:06 I don't have any intelligence to share with you on that. Obviously, that's something that we're always very vigilant about, but don't have any national intelligence to share with you. But obviously, we will condemn any violent rhetoric, which we have been very... I mean, you're hearing from me, right? You're asking me a question, I'm answering it. And we've been very vigilant about,
Starting point is 00:19:29 or very consistent about denouncing that type of rhetoric. Should we expect a statement from the president on that though? I mean, it was a pretty significant display. I mean, you're hearing from me. I think that's important. The other part too, that I do wanna be very clear about,
Starting point is 00:19:44 peaceful protests is something that the president has also been very, very clear that is important for to give folks space to peacefully protest. But any type of violent rhetoric we are going to denounce. Notice how she throws the peaceful protest caveat in there. By the way, it's Jackie Heinrich. Thanks, Jim, for correcting that. He listens to the show a lot. Peaceful protests. You're telling me if that was a MAGA hat wearing person, they'd be getting the same speech from the White House. And hey, listen, even though the MAGA hat people said death to America,
Starting point is 00:20:13 it's okay. It's a peaceful protest. You're telling me they get that carve out to ads. Bullshit. You know it. They'd be in jail tomorrow. The FBI be investigating every one of you. But because we don't have an honest media and they think that can help them win an election in Dearborn, Michigan with a very specific pro-terror vote down there.
Starting point is 00:20:28 She's got to throw that in a peaceful protest. All right, let me get to what I, uh, quick, quick break here. And on the other side of this, a vanity fair piece, folks, here's some good news. The left-wing media, including vanity fair, starting to freak out about Trump 2.0, something I've been telling you about for a long time, about how they learn from their mistakes. You'll see what I mean coming up next. Don't go anywhere. Americanfinancing.net.
Starting point is 00:20:51 Hey, a lot of us are struggling to keep up with everyday bills. Everything's really expensive. Inflation popped again today, 3.5%. I'll cover that in detail tomorrow. If you own a home, I want you to call my friends at American Financing. Interest rates have dropped into the fives, the lowest they've been in a long time, and they're saving their customers an average of $854 a month by
Starting point is 00:21:08 tapping into their home's equity and wiping out high interest credit card debt. $854 a month is like a $10,000 raise. Credit card interest rates are insane. Most of us are still carrying a balance from month to month. Call American Financing and take care of that today. Don't wait for it to get worse. If you call today, you may not have to make next month's mortgage payment. Call today. Here's the number. Don't wait. 888-994-7660. That's 888-994-7660. 888-994-7660. The website's AmericanFinancing.net. That's a.net. AmericanFinancing.net. NMLS 182334. NMLsconsumeraccess.org. APR for rates in the five starts at 6.799% for well-qualified borrowers. Call 888-994-7660 for details about credit costs and terms. Thank you, American Financing. Folks, they're freaking out. What are the big mistakes,
Starting point is 00:21:56 which I think we can all acknowledge, and I don't think it's a mystery because the Trump people talk about it themselves, especially the Trump campaign right now, which is being run very professionally. I've seen it, not honestly from the inside. I'm not a campaign insider, but I know a lot of the people involved and the people running the campaign now are running an entirely different ship and it has Vanity Fair and others freaking out. No, I mean, literally freaking out. Read this headline inside the terrifyingly competent Trump 2024 campaign. When you understand the NPR guy, how these left-wing newsrooms hate Donald Trump, you see why you would write a headline like this. The terrifyingly competent.
Starting point is 00:22:36 A normal person, unlike Gabe Sherman, would just write a piece about a competent campaign. But because they may win, and because these people are devout, agitprop leftists, that's terrifying to them. How would you, who has ever in their life used the words terrifyingly incompetent together? The answer, left-wing nutbags talking about Donald Trump. But he talks about something really critical here, this Gabe Sherman. He says, here's where a second Trump administration might distinguish itself. While his 2016 agenda was stymied by infighting and incompetence, available signs point to a second West Wing staffed by loyalists who would actually carry out his policies. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:23:15 People actually loyal to Donald Trump and the constitutional conservative agenda. The horror. The horror. They note that the takeover of the RNC, which Trump completed, installing his daughter-in-law as a blueprint to keep in mind. President Trump knows who can deliver and who can't. The backstabbers who were around in 2016 won't be in the next White House, Jason Miller said from the Trump team. Folks, I understand why that's a bad thing. You know, one of the things we've been talking about in an evergreen fashion
Starting point is 00:23:46 throughout the history of the show here since the Donald Trump era started is there were two big, I think, errors that we have to, actually, I'd say three we need to correct. The spending was a bit out of control in the first Trump era. And granted, you know, a lot of that comes from Congress, too, but we shouldn't gloss over that. He was a president. The second is we had some personnel issues.
Starting point is 00:24:07 There were people who did turn out to be backstabbers. Miller's correct, and I'm glad they recognize that. The third is we got to work out these vax issues, okay? The vaccine thing was a total mess and is still a mess now. Having said that, when you look at the successes of the agenda, the Abraham Accords, the Supreme Court appointments, the tax cuts, the economy, the deregulation, the efforts to get school choice on a roll nationwide. These are huge, huge, huge accomplishments, okay? But they are personnel, our policy. If we didn't learn from the first time, you're just going to have a mess the second time. The
Starting point is 00:24:38 fact that they know this, this is a really, really big deal because folks, personnel, our policy, and there's going to be two ways to fix this going forward. Number one is we're going to need guardrails and we're going to need better people in charge. You can't have an FBI staffed with crazy people anymore. You can't have an intelligence community staffed with crazy people. And ladies and gentlemen, this is a hot issue right now all over the place. Pay very close attention to this segment because if you want a constitutional republic, you cannot have this FISA legislation the way it is now. There's legislation out there right now to reform FISA. FISA are these secret spying courts that were used to ensnare Americans. The talking point from the swampy right and some people on the
Starting point is 00:25:22 police state left is, oh, these spying courts are no big deal. They're only directed at foreigners. What they frequently leave out is that they spy on foreigners as a way to, through the back door, spy on Americans. Let me give you an example of how they do this, because this is how it was done to target Donald Trump's team. If I say, let me say Tony's talking to someone in the Russian secret police and we think he's a spy, but I don't want to get a warrant on Tony. What I do is I query the
Starting point is 00:25:52 database for the guy he's talking to. And then I'm like, oh, look, here's Tony's email to winky, winky, nod, nod. No, no, no, no, no. This is a hot debate right now going on. Here's Jim Jordan on exactly this. Ladies and gentlemen, you want to spy on Americans, get a warrant. No more secret courts. No more non-adversarial courts. No more spying on your political opponents. When you give up liberty for the sake of security, you will have neither.
Starting point is 00:26:20 You know the adage is true. Listen to Jim Jordan on this. Check this out. The thing that I think counts the most is the warrant requirement amendment. That was in the base text of the bill that came out of our committee. It came out of our committee, by the way, 35 to 2, strong by part, as strong as we've probably ever had in that committee, certainly in this Congress. The warrant requirement, I think, is what's needed, because when you have the history we have with this organization
Starting point is 00:26:45 relative to not following the rules we think you need a separate and equal branch of the government to look at to approve a warrant before you can query American citizens information and that to me is the most important thing we have exceptions built into our warrant requirement if there's an imminent threat of that's an exception if you agree to let the epa if you talk to them and say yeah you can you can use my phone number our email address to search you agree to that or if there's a known cyber threat some malware you know about that's an exception too but if you're going to look in this what I call the haystack of information that is collected, which has Americans information in it, if you're going to use Jerry Nadler's phone number or his
Starting point is 00:27:31 email address, then you should go to a separate and equal branch of government to get a warrant to do so. Let me give you their battle plan. You ready for this? I know you guys love Mike Benz too. I've got a couple Mike Benz, three Mike Benz videos coming up next, describing what this future dystopia looks like. The left wants these courts and the police state right and left, the police state swampy right and the left. They want these courts for a reason.
Starting point is 00:27:58 The secret courts and their ability to spy on you gives it an air of legitimacy. Oh, look, it went to the courts. They don't tell you. And they try to avoid that they're secret courts. You'll never see. You won't even know you're being spied on. There'll be no criminal case. There'll be no discovery, nothing. We understand. Let me give you three steps. Secret courts, which puts an air of legitimacy over this. Oh, look, we spied on him, but it went to the courts. This is why the deep state wants this. Number two, they want hate speech laws.
Starting point is 00:28:27 Why? Because they can categorize anything as hate speech, which they can then go to the courts and say, hey, man, we need to spy on this guy. It's hate speech. He's a threat to democracy. And then last, they want NGOs, non-government organizations, taking taxpayer money to then go out and find the
Starting point is 00:28:46 subjects they should be spying on and then censor them on social media. That is their three-step plan. And by the way, they worked in a carve-out for themselves. Look at these shitheads up in Congress. They worked out the 702. Here, this new spying court, God forbid you spy on a member of Congress, they must notify the member. So you're okay, folks. You're okay. They can spy
Starting point is 00:29:10 on you. No worries at all. Right over the head. Spy on Congress? You damn well better notify them. It's all in your best interest, though, I'm sure. I'm going to play some Ben's videos coming up next. We love Mike Ben's.
Starting point is 00:29:25 This guy's forgotten more about the censorship regime than anyone else. Three-step plan. Secret courts, hate speech laws, NGOs, and censorship funded by the government. It's beautiful for their communist future. You'll see Ben's layout, what I'm talking about, coming up in a second. Don't go anywhere. It's a great video. Folks, blackout coffee.
Starting point is 00:29:45 This is blueberry crumble. Paula's favorite. Someone sent me an email yesterday about the cinnamon French toast Blackout Coffee. It's freaking amazing. You're going to love it. I'd try it. Just try it and send me an email. That's all I ask.
Starting point is 00:29:59 Blackout Coffee uses premium grade coffee beans. Most people don't even know what that tastes like because a lot of the regular coffees out there and these woke companies use garbage beans. You get that bitter coffee. There's a bold taste, never bitter. That's why I'm proud to personally recommend Blackout Coffee. Start off the year right with a resolution to support companies like Blackout Coffee. Skip those long lines.
Starting point is 00:30:18 Order online. The folks at Blackout ship within 48 hours of roasting. The coffee's amazing. A couple of folks in the chat this morning asked me what I was doing. I said, I'm drinking some Blackout, getting ready for the show. Do me a favor. Go to blackoutcoffee.com slash Bongino.
Starting point is 00:30:31 See what I'm talking about. They're the real deal. Real coffee. Bold. Never bitter. That's blackoutcoffee.com slash Bongino or use coupon code Bongino for an astonishing 20% off your first order.
Starting point is 00:30:43 Make the switch to Black Owl Coffee. You're going to love it. Check it out. Our last sponsor, I'll get back to those videos. It's good stuff here. All of you out there know Mike Lindell and MyPillow. They no longer have the support of those box stores out there and shopping channels where they used to.

Thanks, Mike. We appreciate it. So I just told you this dystopian future. This is why I keep saying if we lose this election, ladies and gentlemen, the show's not going anywhere. We're
Starting point is 00:32:01 all vibing together. I'll be with you. We're a family. We'll be here. We'll fight through it. is not going anywhere. We all vibing together. I'll be with you. We're a family. We'll be here. We'll fight through it. We've got a mission. Sometimes the fight matters. Even in a bad result, you got to keep on going. We're not here to give up. We're not a bunch of wuss bags. However, it's going to be a far different show if we lose. The days after that election, it's going to be a show about how to prepare and how to resist, how to really resist, because we're going to be in a lot of trouble. They want this deep state entrenched, censorship, secret courts, hate speech laws. Here's Mike Benz. He was at the Heritage Foundation. Now, I got two clips from this,
Starting point is 00:32:39 but I'm going to break it up with one in between. He's talking about the third component of what I talked about, how the government has found a mechanism to censor you in and around the First Amendment. The government's not supposed to interfere with free speech. It's actually in our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. But they found this vehicle and they did it. Here's about a minute of him at Heritage where he talks about where this thing really gained a head of steam. It has a lot to do with NATO. This is worth your time check this out you know this is something that i refer to as the foreign to domestic switcheroo the the initial censorship structure in this country grew out of uh what was called the hybrid warfare doctrine that nato came up with after the crimea annexation and there was essentially a pan military decision across nato for the military to play a more active role in the media
Starting point is 00:33:27 because they perceived a loss of hearts and minds in Eastern Europe as a seeding ground to Russia politically. And then when Brexit and the Trump election happened, the Russiagate predicate was used to basically portray any sort of right-wing populism as being favorable for Russia and then so could be censored on the basis of being Russian propaganda. The problem was when Russiagate died in the summer of 2019 when Mueller choked on the stand in the hearing, instead of shutting down that censorship apparatus that
Starting point is 00:33:57 joined together the FBI and the CIA and DOD and State Department, they simply changed the predicate from being a Russiagate predicate to a democracy predicate. And this is very nasty because democracy is the watchword of the foreign policy establishment to overthrow governments. You see why the Russia collusion hoax was so important to them? Going back to the beginning of the show, why do your liberal friends believe a lot of dumb shit like Trump colluded with the Russians to steal an election despite the fact that there's not a shred of evidence that's actually true. Because people who pump this into the media and these NGOs and this government censorship apparatus needed the Russia collusion thing. So they could censor you under the guise of we're preventing foreign
Starting point is 00:34:38 disinformation from interfering in our politics. You understand what he was getting at there? They feel like in this new democratized information environment, Twitter, True Social, Rumble, where they don't have control anymore over the information that comes to you. They don't own Cronkite and Brokaw and CBS anymore in the message. They're afraid they're losing control. So to get back control, they use these NGO groups in conjunction with government,
Starting point is 00:35:04 who all make money off of this, censoring you to shut you down. He did a show with this guy, Mark Beckman, on a podcast. And here's a little teaser clip from Ben's where he talks about exactly this, how folks don't attribute to technological sophistication what you can attribute to greed. People make money off this system. The deep state works because there's profit in it. There's billions of dollars of money flowing from taxpayers to non-government organizations and universities to censor you. Yes, they are ideologues. Yes, they're communists, but there's money in it. That's why. Don't attribute this to these higher order values these people have.
Starting point is 00:35:45 Here, watch him explain this. Can you put a market valuation on Censorship, Inc.? The content moderation trade publications, I think in 2022, pegged it at $8 billion worldwide. Wow. Content moderation. That was two years ago. I'd say it's probably doubled in that time. Wow.
Starting point is 00:36:02 It's a massive industry because everyone's got a stake in it. Every major company is a multinational company now, which means they need the State Department to influence elections on their behalf in 180 some countries around the world. The civil society institutions are dependent on the money in order to get the universities funded, in order to have the NGOs funded. The media institutions are dependent on the government money because that is what protects them against competition from alternative media. And that is what protects their monopoly in terms of Google search results or in Facebook news feeds. The government is, it's an instrument of statecraft. It's a multi-billion dollar industry for a reason
Starting point is 00:36:36 because it's about control of society and commercial interests and political interests, but at the very heart of it all. There's money in this. You know, these people are genuinely awful and evil. These media folks that are doing this, the pee pee tape hoaxers, we get that. But I want you to understand when I wrote my book, Follow the Money, where I document the money trail, that the reason they continue to stick, oh my gosh, Dan, they knew collusion was a fake story. Why'd they keep doing it? Because people were getting rich off it. The New York Times is getting clicks. NGOs and Christopher Steele and Fusion GPS were making money.
Starting point is 00:37:17 Hillary Clinton's getting campaign donations on the story. Don't attribute to these people, again, these higher order values. It's simple thievery and greed. There is money in being a dystopian communist censor. Here, one last clip. It's about a minute. This is back to the Heritage Foundation with Benz, where he explains how the National Science Foundation is one of the lead funders. By the way, this is your tax dollars of a lot of these groups getting paid to censor you. That's why they want hate speech laws.
Starting point is 00:37:49 They want hate speech laws so that they can say, oh, look, we're not censoring you. We're just following the law. We're censoring hate speech. What's hate speech? Whatever we say it is. Oh, by the way, should we spy on them, too? They could be a danger to democracy. Yeah, let we spy on them too? They could be a danger to democracy. Yeah. Let's spy. This is all one big hellscape in the future where a bunch of people are fattening their
Starting point is 00:38:11 wallets off it. Here, check this out. And National Science Foundation is the number one. It's the number one funder of all secondary research in the U.S. Ten billion dollars goes to our universities, the National Science Foundation. They created a program which used a democracy, they created two programs actually during the Biden administration, which simply said misinformation is a threat to democracy. And so they've given over $60 million
Starting point is 00:38:35 just in the past year to specially constructed censorship labs, they call them, counter misinformation labs within universities. It's now a growing profession where undergraduates and PhD students are staking their professional careers on the rise of the censorship industry. And it's all constructed around a democracy predicate, which again, simply means the control and the ability to overthrow a government who's not doing the bidding of the US.S. foreign policy establishment. Now, folks, you may ask yourself, Dan, why are you playing down the sophistication? I am not. I'm not. Everything I do is for a tactical reason, because when I'm out there and I actually I'm actually discussing this topic with like activist type folks and other people who are really interested in this communist censorship future, CBDCs, secret courts, hate speech laws, NGOs taking taxpayer money to
Starting point is 00:39:32 censor you. It's amazing how many people think we've already been defeated and they'll say, gosh, these people are so good at this and they'll imply that they're so smart. They're not smart. They're not smart. They're doing it because there's money in it. So if Trump were to come in office like Vanity Fair suggests and eliminate people from positions that are shoveling the money out the door, then we've cut off one of those lifelines. And then when we fix the processes, the Pfizer reform, is it going to be impossible for the deep state to take root again? No, of course they're never going to give up. But folks, in four years, we can do a lot of damage to it.
Starting point is 00:40:08 We're not helpless. We're not helpless little kittens. Oh, go ahead, little kitten. Come on. No, no, no. That's not us. We're freaking warriors for freedom, brothers and sisters. We need to, like, get our nuts and put them in a thing and keep going, you know,
Starting point is 00:40:21 fucking wheelbarrow them babies off. We're not sitting here just taking this shit. The people we're dealing with are morons. Here, look at the leader of the pack. This is their oatmeal gun. Here's Biden yesterday giving an interview. I got a couple of clips of this coming up. Giving an interview with Univision or something.
Starting point is 00:40:39 And he's in the Oval Office talking about how he's running for office to keep us out of like Vietnam or something. What the hell? check this guy out did you spend a lot of time thinking about what your legacy would look like well i hope i hope the legacy is that uh they kept my word that i said that the reason i was running was to help change the life of ordinary people they reduced the prospect of war and because of vietnam i don't know i'm just moving on i please we are not helpless little puppy dogs oh come on fido here's about no no no no you're warriors. A lot of you are cops, ex-military, coal miners, working out on construction rigs. We're just going to sit back and let a bunch of morons get rich
Starting point is 00:41:35 off censoring us and throwing us in secret courts? No, we're not doing it. Look at the idiots leading the way here. You want to see another moron? Again, we can laugh at this all we want, and you should. However, I'm trying to highlight a point here. These are not intellectual sophisticants doing this. They're morons. Do you see this clip from Sheila Jackson Lee? She thinks the moon's made it.
Starting point is 00:42:01 You know what? Just listen to this yourself. There's no justice I could do to this by teasing it play this and sometimes you've heard the word full moon sometimes you need to take the opportunity just to come out and see a full moon is that complete rounded circle which is made up mostly of gases and that's why the question the question is why or how could we as humans live on the moon? Are the gases such that we could do that? The sun is a mighty powerful heat. And it's almost impossible to go near the sun.
Starting point is 00:42:38 The moon is more manageable. And you will see in a moment, or not a moment, you'll see in a couple of years that NASA is going back to the moon. You're scared of these people? Oh man, it's over, Dan. Country's finished. Sheila Jackson Lee and Biden are in charge. Here's another one. Here's another one. You're scared of these people? No, you're not.
Starting point is 00:43:09 You're not allowed to be on this show. I'm sorry. If you're scared of these people, you got to leave. You got to leave. I'm sorry. I can't. I can't do that. You know Jasmine Crockett, another moron up on Capitol Hill?
Starting point is 00:43:20 Here she is giving an interview where she basically admits that, you know what, this reparations thing, we could give people tax cuts, but we'd rather give out checks because it basically makes us look good. And people like checks because they think the government's doing something. Imagine admitting this as a liberal with no sense of irony at all in an interview and smiling about it. Here, watch this. Just this past week, I saw, I don't remember which celebrity, but it was actually a celebrity. And I was like saw i don't remember which celebrity but it was actually a celebrity and i was like i don't know that's not necessarily a bad idea but i'd have to think through it a lot one of the things that they propose is black folk not have to pay taxes
Starting point is 00:43:53 for a certain amount of time because then again that puts money back in your pocket but at the same time it may not be as objectionable to some people about actually giving out dollars. But obviously, then you start dealing with the different tax brackets and things like that. And that's one of the reasons that, you know, we argue the reparations make sense because so many black folk, not only do you owe for the labor that was stolen and killed and all the other things. Right. But the fact is, like, we end up being so far behind right and so it's like how do you bring forth people exactly and so it's like if you if you do the no tax thing for people that are already say struggling and aren't really paying taxes in the first place it doesn't really
Starting point is 00:44:39 exactly they may want those those checks like they got. Exactly. Imagine admitting this on a left-wing podcast. Here's another gem from the oatmeal god in the White House, who again is incapable of telling you the truth. The man is a sociopathic, kid-sniffing, woman-feeling, daughter-showering nightmare of a human being. This is their guy. This guy has raised a fortune. They love this guy. Here he is
Starting point is 00:45:07 again in this interview. So off base. This thing's gone nuclear this morning. In what? How long is this clip like? 20 seconds, 14 in 14 seconds. He manages to tell two whoppers of a lie that are easily falsifiable. If you just crack crack again the Charlie Brown encyclopedia. Watch this. From the very beginning, I used to teach the Second Amendment in law school. From the very beginning, there were limitations. You couldn't own a cannon. You couldn't you could own a rifle, a gun.
Starting point is 00:45:39 But there are certain things you couldn't do. But they weren't weapons of war. OK, he did not teach. He was not a professor. He was an honorary professor. How many freaking times is this dipshit going to tell this story? Fox News. Biden berated for claiming he taught political theory at University of Pennsylvania.
Starting point is 00:46:04 This article is from last year. This guy just shits on the truth all day. He was not a professor. He did not teach classes. And secondly, the Second Amendment says nothing about owning the canons. However, the Constitution does. How bad does it have to be when left-wing lunatic Glenn Kessler, one of the dumbest human beings on planet Earth,
Starting point is 00:46:38 in the Washington Post had a fact-checked disclaim about the cannon ownership? You're like, gosh, this is from 2021? Yes, because Biden's told this lie before. The Second Amendment says you can't own a cannon. Actually, the Constitution says the opposite. That's the tax one. It says the exact opposite. The Constitution addresses these letters of these marquee and reprisal where actually ships can go and use this authority using cannons.
Starting point is 00:47:05 All you've got to do is read the actual constitution. How stupid do you have to be? Folks, this guy cannot stop bullshitting people. He is simply incapable of doing it. Now, if you're watching this show, you guys are at least three, four, five, sometimes six months ahead of the news cycle. I promise I'll never let you down. And we're never going to have a situation here where someone's going to go to the press and say something like, oh, you know, Dan Bongino show
Starting point is 00:47:35 lied intentionally. No, something reflects poorly on Republicans. And we're going to talk about it if it's the truth. I told you a long time ago, I don't know, three, four, five months ago, six months ago, that Section 212F of the INA, Immigration Nationality Act, gave Biden the power to shut down the border right now. I've told you this over and over. Of course, left-wingers and other morons out there, left-wing talking heads, said, oh, you know, Biden's limited by his power. There's not much he can do. It's fascinating. The same Biden who craps all over the courts when it comes to student loans is now claiming, oh, you know, I do something about the border, but I'm a little concerned about the courts. I want you to watch this clip. I'm going
Starting point is 00:48:20 to show you how I told you months ago, this guy has the authority to shut down the border. He just doesn't want it. Here, watch this. Have you made a final decision on taking executive order in terms of what you want to do at the border? That includes the power to shut down the border, as it was suggested. Well, it suggested that we're examining whether or not I have that power. I would have that power under the legislation when the border has over 500,000 people, 5,000 people a day trying to cross the border because you can't manage it, slow it up. There's no guarantee that I have that power all by myself without legislation.
Starting point is 00:48:59 And some have suggested I should just go ahead and try it. And if I get shut down by the court, I get shut down by the court. But we're trying to work through that right now. I mean, the amount of hypocrisy, again, in this hierarchical system that they don't really care about, but the third party might, is really stunning. He doesn't care about the courts. He makes fun of the courts in the student loan issue. Now he's pretending they're really concerned about the courts about shutting down the border. Folks, 212F, Center for Immigration Studies, the Immigration
Starting point is 00:49:31 Nationality Act. Whenever the president finds the entry of any aliens or class of aliens into the U.S. would be detrimental, he may by proclamation and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or class of aliens as immigrants or non-immigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate. That is the law now. It's right in front of him. This bozo doesn't want to take it. Now, I told you that was there, which makes this Axios email this morning even more hilarious. This guy actually pretending that 212F didn't exist,
Starting point is 00:50:15 and now all of a sudden he found 212F. Axios' email list this morning. Scoop, Biden plans an order to limit southern border crossings by the end of the month. Read, folks, read this second paragraph. Biden would use authority in Section 212F of the Immigration and Nationality Act, which gives the president broad leeway to block entry of certain immigrants that we consider detrimental to U.S. national interest. Where'd you'd you hear that yeah on the show three months ago six months ago why do liberals believe a bunch of dumb stuff because they have a bunch of dumb people in
Starting point is 00:50:57 newsrooms they don't have people like me in a newsroom going hey guys you know the president has the power now under 212F to shut the border down and chooses not to use it. That's a conspiracy theory. Really? It's funny. You only acknowledge it this morning after Biden now is trying to use 212F. Why is he trying to do it, folks? Because he realizes he's having a political crisis right now, not because the law has changed at all. That law has been there the entire time. These people hate you. Do you understand that? These politicians, they can't stand you. They hate your guts. They hate everything about you. They do everything in their own self-interest. And the reason they're allowed
Starting point is 00:51:34 to do it is because media morons protect them with this isolated bubble, this Praetorian guard around them that protects them from any kind of analysis whatsoever. You were way ahead of this, man. You knew about this months ago. You're telling me Biden just found out about it now? Us, a bunch of middle-class Joes sitting here talking about stuff all day, people who work for a living. You're telling Biden had an entire team of lawyers in the White House and just found out about 212F?
Starting point is 00:52:06 Come on, man. Give me a break. By the way, this is a bad enough yet update. Did you see this video? I grew up in Queens in New York. Is it bad enough yet? We got to take a quick poll.
Starting point is 00:52:17 My humble opinion, no, I don't think so. Sadly, it's not bad enough yet. But ladies and gentlemen, it's certainly getting there. When is this damn going to break and crack open? I don't know. But they can lie to you about crime statistics all they want.
Starting point is 00:52:31 It's getting really ugly out there. Here's some video taken in Queens. Look at this poor lady, 68-year-old lady. There you go. Punched her right down the stairs. She's in critical condition now. Knocks her right down the stairs. This is, again, an area of Queens, not very far
Starting point is 00:52:45 from where I grew up. Poor lady. Stole her car, stole everything. The middle of the day, by the way. Think it's bad enough yet? What about this story? Libs at TikTok. I told you these stories would keep filtering out out of the border. Is it bad enough yet? Breaking. An illegal from El Salvador with a criminal history was just arrested in California for a gruesome murder. 25-year-old Fraley Hernandez was found dismembered in an abandoned car. They note El Salvador cracked down on crime in 2023. El Salvador was rated safer than the U.S. These criminals know now they can't escape justice in their own country, so they come here through Biden's open border. How crazy is this? Criminals escaping El Salvador and now leaving El Salvador to come to
Starting point is 00:53:32 the United States to commit crimes they wouldn't commit in El Salvador. Ladies and gentlemen, is it bad enough yet? The answer is, I don't think so. But when it happens and it does get bad enough, I promise it's going to creep up on you. I've lived through this twice. Many of you have too. I hate to bring up the example again, but it's meant to put a smile on your face, especially at the end of the show, knowing that some salvation is coming here. Eventually, people get tired of living in shit. They do.
Starting point is 00:53:57 They get tired of it. I lived in New York in the Rudy Giuliani era. New York was 8 to 1, nine to one Democrat to Republican. No Republican had a shot of winning. It was bad. Thousands of people were being murdered a year in New York. People's cars were getting stolen every day.
Starting point is 00:54:14 We used to get mugged on the way home from school. People would steal. I always tell the story that they had this drink, Tropical Fantasy. Guys would just come off the bus and just steal it from us. It wasn't even like a thing. Like as long as you didn't lose a tooth, that's just the way it was. People just stole stuff from you.
Starting point is 00:54:30 My mother got flashed on the train by some lunatic headed into work at Con Edison one time. That's just how people were. They were crazy. And after a while, people got tired of it. And it just happened. I don't know what it was. It just happened. Eventually, people woke up. It was like some quantum energy or some shit just took over. The same thing happened in the 1980s with the Reagan era. There was a mass awakening in the country.
Starting point is 00:54:58 It's going to happen. Are we there yet? I don't think so. But as you start seeing more and more of this stuff out there, the awakening is going to happen. Let's hope it happens in November. Folks, thanks again for tuning in. I so deeply appreciate it.
