Starting point is 00:00:00 All right. Hey baby. Welcome to Vince. Good to have you with us here on a what are we at now? Wednesday? The week kind of condensed. The week's kind of condensed. I'll be honest straight up with you. I'm off this Friday. It's Independence Day. So I'm taking the day off. But I am so glad that you're here with us today. Man, it's so awesome. And actually speaking of Independence Day as we get started, I am wearing one of my American flag themed shirts today. And as soon as I sat down in the chair this morning, the team, Guy and Justin immediately started yelling at me that you're not supposed to wear shirts with small patterns on camera,
Starting point is 00:00:31 which is something that I knew I just, you know, my, in my love of country, I blacked out over the subject. So I arrived today. It is a cool shirt though. I've got a George Washington and Abraham Lincoln is on here, American flags and Frederick Douglass and Benjamin Franklin and it's awesome. So of course I wore it and I hope you can, I hope it doesn't, it's not too visually distracting.
Starting point is 00:00:57 Can you see it okay? You can see it on rumble, okay? All right, well, I'll take it. There's a big thing on television, it's always like small patterns on ties. They create this like weird sort of distortion effect. And so they always discourage you. If you ever go on television, try to avoid the small patterns.
Starting point is 00:01:15 Wear large stripes or solid colors. There's all sorts of stupid rules for all of this. But anyway, great to have you with us today. The big, beautiful bill made its way through the Senate this week. Will it make its way through the House? Coming up in a few minutes, we'll have Congressman Jason Smith on the program. And we've also got to get to a bunch of big wins for President Trump. The President, big wins for women this week, big wins against the media. We have a very big show. Also, he got rid of USAID. USAID is shuttered.
Starting point is 00:01:45 This is amazing. The left is freaking out. They say everybody's gonna die. Will they die? I think so. I think in the end, we all do die, but the left wants to turn this into a political issue. It's all ahead on Vince.
Starting point is 00:01:57 Before we get there, gotta thank our sponsors. ExpressVPN is a mighty sponsor of this program. I'm grateful for them. You know, what you do online, it's not private. Data brokers have been tracking and creating a profile of your online activities. And in the United States, they're legally allowed to sell that information
Starting point is 00:02:15 to whoever wants to buy it. But there is a way to push back and hold onto your values, your autonomy and your freedom. And this is with ExpressVPN. You see, with ExpressVPN, 100% of my online activity is rerouted. It's through secure encrypted servers. And that makes it impossible,
Starting point is 00:02:30 impossible rather for my internet provider to know what I'm doing online, because it's none of their business. It's mine. ExpressVPN also hides your IP address. So data brokers can't use that number to build a profile on you and then sell that profile. And best of all, it's easy to use.
Starting point is 00:02:45 It just takes one click. And ExpressVPN works on all of your devices. You can have it on up to eight devices at once. So you can give the gift of privacy and freedom to your whole family. So do you wanna protect yourself and your family from all of the con artists out there, all of the people who are trying to scrape the data
Starting point is 00:03:04 out of your household in order to sell it off? How about no? How about I get to protect what's mine? Right now you can do that. You can get an extra four months for free when you use my special link. Go to expressvpn.com slash Vince and get four extra months of ExpressVPN. That's E-X-P-R-E-S-S-V-P-N dot com slash Vince. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:29 All right. Debate in the chat over the shirt. Thank you for that. Appreciate it. Appreciate everybody looking at your style and Vince's Stella. Thank you, Stella. I love you. You're, you're a wonderful person.
Starting point is 00:03:37 Um, okay. Let's get into, uh, some basics here. The, the big, beautiful bill obviously does make its way through the Senate. And here's something crazy. You know the members of the House all went back home? Not all of them, but a bunch of them did. They all drove back to their home states or flew back to their home states, and they've been gone. What are they doing? Why did you go home? You knew the big, beautiful bill was about to pass and you went home?
Starting point is 00:04:05 Politico's got this report up last night that House members have been scrambling now to return to DC for the mega bill vote, is how they describe it. The president wants this thing passed by Independence Day. We all do. We'd like to see this thing passed by Independence Day. Some House members are going to great lengths
Starting point is 00:04:22 to make it back to Washington right now for a vote on this Republican mega bill after severe weather canceled dozens of flights. President Trump and Speaker Johnson are pushing to advance all of this before July 4th, setting up a condensed time frame for a House vote. A lot of members had already returned to their districts and they're now scrambling to get back to D.C. What are you doing? The president said July 4th. this was not a secret. I knew this, the chat knew this, we all knew this.
Starting point is 00:04:50 We all have to be at work five days a week. What are the rest of you doing? You're in Congress, you're making what? $174,000 a year, you can't be there? Representative Rajakrishnamurthy, a Democrat from Illinois, hosted a virtual town hall at the beginning of what he said was a 14 hour drive
Starting point is 00:05:08 from his suburban Chicago home to Washington, saying, I've got my gas money, I've got my snacks, away we go. Yeah, well, you're a Democrat, so why don't you just stay home? We don't need your vote, just stay home. It'll actually help the rest of us. Just take it easy, put your feet up.
Starting point is 00:05:23 Congresswoman Nancy Mase of South Carolina, Republican, said she's planning to drive from Charleston, South Carolina to the Capitol. Nearly an eight hour drive, according to a screenshot of her GPS that she shared on social media, this would have been yesterday. Congressman Russell Frye of South Carolina, also apparently drove through the night, overnight,
Starting point is 00:05:41 to get back to Washington. He said in a video posted to X, he said this moment is much too important to sit around and wait at an airport while driving from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. So a bunch of these guys finally coming back but what? What? Again, what? We knew the vote was here. We knew it. And so now today in the United States House of Representatives are debating this thing. We're gonna have
Starting point is 00:06:04 coming up in just a few minutes, we'll have Congressman Jason Smith. He's the chairman of the Ways and Means Committee. He's got a big job. He's got a very big and important job here. And we'll get his perspective. I will tell you as we're doing this live right now on rumble.com slash Vince, well, hopefully one, we get them exactly on time, but you never know with members of Congress in the midst of all of this drama. And two, we've already had to move the interview a bit. I was going to take them later in the program. Instead, we're going to take them a little bit closer towards the front because that's how frenetic everything is right now on the Capitol, all the way down to meetings between
Starting point is 00:06:35 these members of Congress, as well as talking to the White House, meeting with the White House and trying to get this thing across the finish line. The president desperately does, desperately does. And these members are debating it. Now I do see that there are some House members who are bitching and moaning about the fact that the Senate changed the bill. Well, of course they changed the bill. That's the way this works. The House comes up with this version, the Senate comes up with this version, and now the House has to deal with whatever the Senate came up with. That's just the way these things happen. You know? And in some cases, the Senate came up with. That's just the way these things happen. And in some cases, the Senate actually improved the legislation. I didn't expect that to happen, but the Senate did improve the
Starting point is 00:07:10 legislation in some ways. Here's one meaningful way. The Senate got rid of the AI moratorium on regulation in the states. In other words, the states were going to be forbidden from having any regulations over AI to protect American families. That's out. That's been stripped out of the bill. And thank God and thank God. So it goes back to the House. So what do you want to do? Restore it to the old version? You better not. I don't want that old version back. I like the new version that lets the states have this regulation over AI.
Starting point is 00:07:39 That's a big deal. So, you know, these guys are going to have to work out the details here. I will remember, I don't know if you remember this, but when the House originally passed this bill, remember, there were a couple of lawmakers who didn't make it in time for the vote. Some people Republicans, Republicans who were late, one Republican slept through the vote. One Republican straight up slept through the vote. So Mike Johnson said, Yes, that's true. The final vote was a very narrow, narrow margin,
Starting point is 00:08:06 but it would have been bigger if everyone had been awake. Okay, wake the hell up. Don't leave Washington. Stay awake, drink your coffee, get a little bit of blackout, you can do it, and then vote on this thing. Get this legislation passed so we can all have a great Independence Day. You want to go home to your families, do your jobs, then go
Starting point is 00:08:30 home to your families. So we've got that coming up. Here's another piece. Here's another piece for you. We've got, um, I this is I want to issue a correction to something I discussed yesterday. And I'm always willing to issue corrections. If I screw it up, I'm going to correct it. But here's one that everybody seemed to get wrong yesterday. Remember the conversation that the Senate had this vote in order to prevent illegals from getting 1.4 million of them from getting access to Medicaid? And then it failed in the Senate? It failed during the Votorama.
Starting point is 00:09:03 during the Votorama. So you would be forgiven for thinking that that provision, that protection for Americans didn't make it into the bill because we had all concluded that. We saw that the vote had failed. Well, it turns out Senator Eric Schmidt revealed on social media overnight that actually things are good. Things are way better than you realized.
Starting point is 00:09:29 And I'm grateful for this. He said, look, the big, beautiful bill does kick 1.4 million illegal immigrants off of Medicaid. Really? Yeah, it does, he says. For too long, Americans have been paying for the welfare of people who shouldn't even be in our country. Today, the Senate vote voted to end that.
Starting point is 00:09:46 And yes, it did make it into the final draft of the bill. Now Senator Schmidt addressed the fact that there was a lot of confusion around this. He said yesterday there were a lot of rumors floating around about the ban on Medicaid for illegal aliens being stripped from the bill. Thankfully, that's not true. It's very much in the bill that we just passed at Senator Schmidt. You can even look it up.
Starting point is 00:10:08 It's on page 602, section 77109. You can find it right there. And he said, here's where the rumor came from. During yesterday's Votorama, an amendment that was banning Medicaid for illegal immigrants was voted down. The clip of that vote started circulating on the internet, and then folks took that to mean, as you would, as I did,
Starting point is 00:10:29 that the provision had been stripped from the bill altogether. He said, but that's not what that was. That amendment was what he referred to as a, quote, messaging amendment, designed to force Democrats to vote against it. In this case, a ban on some Medicaid funding for illegals who commit heinous crimes on the record.
Starting point is 00:10:49 It was meant just to show the public how radical these Democrats were. The ban itself was already in the bill. It was never taken out, said Senator Schmidt. And it wasn't just a ban on some Medicaid for illegal aliens who commit heinous crimes. It applies to all Medicaid for all illegal aliens and most non-citizens generally.
Starting point is 00:11:12 Senator Schmidt says the bill we passed actually goes even further beyond banning Medicaid for 1.4 million illegals. It also requires states to verify citizenship status before even providing coverage. That's huge to do that. It bans automatic Medicaid enrollment for the children of illegal aliens, and it excludes DACA from Medicaid.
Starting point is 00:11:32 In other words, illegal aliens don't get Medicaid. That's what DACA is for. DACA is an amnesty for illegal aliens. And Senator Schmidt said, no, no, no, we're not doing that. We're not giving Medicaid to illegal aliens. According to the Congressional Budget Office, roughly 1.4 million illegals are currently on Medicaid, despite the fact that they don't even meet
Starting point is 00:11:52 federal enrollment requirements, because blue states have expanded their federally funded Medicaid programs to include them. As of April of 2025, 14 states plus Washington, DC, give government healthcare to people regardless of their immigration status. Now this is separate from Medicaid. These are just state governments
Starting point is 00:12:11 and the District of Columbia saying, yeah, we're gonna take taxpayer funds from the people who live in our region and we're gonna give it to illegals. Seven states plus DC offer government healthcare to these adults, these illegals, regardless of immigration status. The big, beautiful bill ends all of that, ends that arrangement by restricting Medicaid
Starting point is 00:12:35 eligibility. According to the official data from the CBO, that kicks a whopping 1.4 million illegals off of the Medicaid rolls. This is not a small amount of money, Senator Schmidt explains. This could cost blue states tens of billions of dollars now. And so look, these states have serious budget problems, he points out, and now they've got to bear the burden here. If they want to keep giving away money to illegals,
Starting point is 00:13:00 it's going to get a lot more costly for him. They're going to run themselves into the ground. And so blue states are left with a choice, either send your illegals home or you're going to be paying these bills by yourself. No Medicaid funding. Stop stealing from taxpayers. So to reiterate, the ban for illegal aliens,
Starting point is 00:13:19 that amendment, that failed because it didn't reach the 60 vote threshold, but the original ban was already in the bill. So that was just a messaging stunt, a messaging piece meant to demonstrate the Democrats are radical, mission accomplished. You definitely did. And then simultaneously, the bill is good. So that I am here.
Starting point is 00:13:39 I'm telling you, look, I fell for it too. I fell for it too. Because what do you think when you see the United States Senate doing all of this? What do you see when you see a vote like that? The video comes out, it is as clear as you think it could possibly be. And then every so often you're reminded
Starting point is 00:13:55 that the Senate is a process that can be Byzantine, hard to sort through. And we get an update here from an actual United States Senator who knows his stuff, Senator Schmidt saying, no, no, no, you want proof of this thing? Look right at the legislation is in there. In fact, you can go right to page 602, section 77109. It's in there.
Starting point is 00:14:17 We're stopping illegals from getting Medicaid. And I'll just add one more piece to this. It's already illegal for illegal aliens to take Medicaid and Medicare. It's already illegal. What the Congress is doing here is closing whatever remaining loopholes are left where these illegals are taking advantage of us. At least that's at least they're making some progress there. So some good news, some very good news, and I'm happy to bring that correction to you because it's it's really meaningful and it's a very very big deal. So thank you to Senator Schmidt for offering that clarification. That's big.
Starting point is 00:14:47 Fellas, is the congressman standing by for me? Okay, so we're in the midst of connecting with him. And I'm like, holy cow, I just got a serving of fruits and vegetables. Not a bad way to do it. Not a bad way to do it. All right, let's dig into the big, beautiful bill, the chances of passage before Independence Day.
Starting point is 00:16:40 The president really once said, one of the guys who definitely knows the details of what's going on is my next guest, Congressman Jason Smith is here. He is the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee. Congressman, good to have you with us today. Thank you. It's good to be with you.
Starting point is 00:16:52 Okay, give me the latest on the chances of this thing actually passing by Independence Day this Friday. We're gonna pass it by Independence Day. This is something that the president has asked us to do for several months and, and everything is falling in line with the Senate passing it yesterday morning. The rules committee finished their process yesterday and, and we're going to get the votes.
Starting point is 00:17:17 We're going to make sure it's passed. This will be the one big, beautiful bill will be the largest tax cut for, for middle income families and for workers. It, it will create the largest tax cut for for middle income families and for workers. It will create the largest investment in border security. It will create the golden dome for security for all Americans. And it is also the largest mandatory cuts of spending in the history of America. It's a good bill. It's not perfect, but it's great. And the last thing that my colleagues need to do
Starting point is 00:17:45 is to stand in the way of greatness, just trying to get perfect. Yeah, no, I completely agree with you. And I think that the biggest elements of this that really stand out to me, and I've stood out the whole time, are the tax cuts, not only the permanence of the Trump tax cuts from 2017,
Starting point is 00:18:00 but the extra tax cuts that are coming along now for social security over time and for tips as well. But then the other piece is border security. We get meaningful border barriers and all the navigable portions of the border. And we get 10,000 more ICE agents to get these mass deportations underway, Congressman. This bill delivers on the promises that President Trump and the Republican House and Senate campaigned on and 77 million people followed through. We wanted permanency of the expiring provisions of Trump's successful 2017 tax cuts.
Starting point is 00:18:36 We wanted no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, tax relief for seniors, tax deduction for autos made in the United States. These are all things that the president campaigned on and we're gonna deliver on it in this one big, beautiful bill. And when you just look at border security, the largest investment to secure the border in the history of America. And the president's already done an amazing job by himself and now Congress is stepping up to the plate
Starting point is 00:19:05 and helping put more tools in his toolbox. I was mentioning a moment ago, I know everyone you're on a condensed timeline. There are members of Congress who are rushing back to the house right now in order to be a part of all of these votes. There's been some travel delays. I know we've had weather in the country.
Starting point is 00:19:20 So if some people are jumping into cars to make that happen, driving many hours, and you wanna get this done by Independence Day, does that mean that if the House passes this legislation, it has to be done without any alterations? In other words, you have to pass the Senate version of it in order to make this timeline. So the Senate bill shows how careful you have to thread a needle.
Starting point is 00:19:41 We passed the House bill 215 to 214. They passed it with the tie breaking vote of the vice president 51 to 50. It is definitely a careful balance. This this bill that the Senate passed is virtually the House bill. When you look at the tax policies, there's 103 different tax provisions within the Senate bill, 85% of those provisions are identical or just little technical changes to the House bill to help be compliant with the Senate parliamentarian. So for the most part, the tax bill is what passed out of the House. Okay. But what it sounds like you're saying is that it's likely that the version that the House
Starting point is 00:20:24 is about to approve will be word for word the same one the Senate did. So that way there's no more going back and forth between the two houses. Yeah, the House can't change what the Senate just sent over. We have two options. We can pick up and pass what the Senate passed and send it directly to the president's desk. Or two, we can ask the Senate to go to a conference and then iron out our differences. And then both chambers would have to vote again to get it to the president's desk by July 4, we need
Starting point is 00:20:53 to pick up and pass the Senate bill. Okay, got it. So you don't anticipate an actual conference, you expect the house is going to pass this thing and then it's on. I do, we're going to send it to the president's desk so he can sign it on July 4th. And the American people can help help celebrate the largest tax cut in U.S. history on the start of the 250th year of America as a great nation. Now, I have to note, as I as I did at the beginning of the show,
Starting point is 00:21:21 you mentioned that when the House passed this, they passed it by a one vote margin. but there are some qualifiers there because as Speaker Johnson talked about it upon passage, he goes, actually, the numbers should have been bigger. A couple of people missed the vote. At least one congressman literally slept through it. So your margins are a little bit bigger than just one vote, right? It is. We have two individuals that missed that vote because one did sleep through it
Starting point is 00:21:47 and one of them just didn't make it there in enough time because they were asleep. However, that's not going to be the case this time. We're going to to get it passed. We can lose three. We can lose three Republicans in the House and still pass the bill if everyone is in attendance. in the House and still pass the bill if everyone is in attendance. We're going to deliver this. Of course, in in the 119th Congress, there can be a lot of ups and downs, but but don't underestimate the fact that we will deliver this for the American people. OK, and so is there any is there any scenario where you get a cattle prod
Starting point is 00:22:21 and make sure that these congressmen are awake? Are you going to be out there zapping them like, hey, you got to vote right now. No more sleep into this stuff. I am monitoring every one of my colleagues right now to make sure that they are here, that they show up because the American people's counting on us to deliver this and we're going to do it. Big time. All right. So give me a sense of what else happens
Starting point is 00:22:41 today. Are you are members of Congress talking to the White House meeting with the White House? How involved is the White House in making sure this thing gets done quickly? You know, I've worked with a lot of presidents, a lot of executives, and I have never worked with more, a more engaged executive than President Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:23:00 This morning, he was texting me. This gentleman is the hardest working person, not just in Washington, D.C., but in America. And it is quite phenomenal. He is all in on this bill being sent to his desk and where he can sign it and deliver for the 77 million Americans that he made the various campaign promises to, which this bill does deliver. But it is pretty, pretty rewarding to see someone who's working so hard. Yeah, for sure. But if the president is involved this morning, does that give us a sense that he thinks that the chances of a passing are still dicey at this hour?
Starting point is 00:23:39 If he's still kind of regaling you to get this done, encouraging you, what is he doing? Checking in to see what the whip count is? Is that is that where he's at right now? The president is always engaging with members all the time, whether there's a vote on that bill today or whether it was six, six months ago, he is always engaging and he definitely has his his ear to the ground and knows what's going on, which which is a really good place to be. He knows the dynamics of the House, the personalities in the House. He knows the dynamics in the Senate, the personalities in the Senate.
Starting point is 00:24:11 And and he's able to negotiate. He's the big, big dealmaker. You're going to see that with some trade announcements just this week. That will be coming very shortly. So it's it's it's good for America and for the economy. All right, let me close with the last piece. Throughout this debate on the big, beautiful bill, we've heard concerns about the out-of-control spending
Starting point is 00:24:34 going on in Washington. And I think you and I both agree that it is out of control. And that's obviously one thing that has to be dealt with. The president sent a $9 billion rescissions package to the House, which you successfully passed is in the hands of the Senate now. It do you anticipate in your conversations with the president or otherwise, more spending cuts of this nature to
Starting point is 00:24:54 come in the near term? Absolutely, it has to because Washington does not have a revenue problem. Washington has a spending problem. If you just compare the numbers over the last 50 years, spending to GDP has averaged about 20% for the for 45 years ago, excluding the most recent five. If you look at the most recent five spending to GDP averages 26% shows that we have a terrible spending problem. And that's why in this bill, the fact that we are cutting $1.6 trillion in mandatory
Starting point is 00:25:31 spending is huge. It will be the largest cut in US history, but it's not enough. We need to continue to move forward and make additional cuts through discretionary spending and also non-discretionary spending. Okay. All right. Congressman Jason Smith, I know you got a busy day. Thank you for spending some time with us. Appreciate you for that. through discretionary spending and also non-discretionary spending. Okay. All right, Congressman Jason Smith,
Starting point is 00:25:46 I know you got a busy day. Thank you for spending some time with us. Appreciate you for that. Great to be with you. We're good to talk to you. There he is. Congressman Jason Smith is the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee,
Starting point is 00:25:55 and they've got a lot to get to today. They gotta get that legislation passed. Do it. Do it now. You gotta get it passed. All right, coming up, I've got a litany of big successes this week, including USAID is officially closed.
Starting point is 00:26:11 It's officially closed, which is a cause for celebration. Unless you're a lefty who's had your disgusting little fingers inside of that slush fund for years, and you don't know what you're gonna do now. So the panic is setting in, which is wonderful to see. I've got great updates on that subject and so much more. Also the president scoring a massive victory for women and women's sports this week and a massive victory against the media.
Starting point is 00:26:37 He won another lawsuit, baby. The guy's like printing money off of the lies that the media tells about him. There's more. There's so much more to get to before we do. I got to thank our sponsors. All right, fellas, let's see. We're days away from what has been dubbed the Rio reset. That's coming up, possibly the greatest threat to the U.S.
Starting point is 00:26:54 dollar's global dominance in just over 80 years. And on July 6th, the BRICS nations, those include Russia, China, India, Iran and many more. They're all expected to unveil these plans to try to circumvent the US dollar, thus cratering its value. Yeah, that's right. Starting point is 00:29:20 Appreciate you for doing this. Okay. Let's see. No, coffee is great. Who said they didn't like coffee? But you don't have to like coffee, but I love coffee. I think it's wonderful.
Starting point is 00:29:31 Okay. I've got some very good news for you. Let's start with USAID. USAID, hallelujah, is officially closed. It's done. It's gone. The slush fund known as USAID is officially closed for business.
Starting point is 00:29:50 And we get this update from Secretary Marco Rubio. I almost said Senator, the guy does everything. So it's hard to track which job he's in now. Secretary Marco Rubio officially announcing that USAID is donezo. USAID will no longer send foreign assistance across the globe with the State Department taking over any programs that the Trump administration even considers to be important. That's it. That's it.
Starting point is 00:30:17 If it's worth keeping, the State Department will handle it. Rubio making the announcement in a Tuesday statement saying that USAID had for decades failed to ensure that the programs it funded actually supported any of America's interests, Fox News reports. The State Department is taking over foreign assistance programs beginning July 1st. When is that? Oh, that was yesterday. Yesterday. So beyond creating a globe spanning NGO industrial complex at taxpayer expense, USAID has little to show since the end of the Cold War. Development objectives have rarely been met. Instability has often worsened and anti-American sentiment has only grown, Rubio wrote. So it's time to end it. So as of July 1, USAID officially ceases to implement foreign assistance. What
Starting point is 00:31:08 a great, great thing. I am so excited about this. It's wonderful news. And remember, USAID has been a cash grab. It's been a total slush fund. The left and some on the right have dumped all sorts of money into this to make it completely unaccountable, to enrich themselves on the back of unwitting taxpayers. I mean, how many people had never even heard of USAID for not too long ago? And the president gets into office, he's got the right people around him, and they target these slush funds, and they just tear them apart. And I can't wait to see more of this. So they take down USAID. That's wonderful, wonderful news.
Starting point is 00:31:50 Now it has led to some hilarious reactions from the left. Here is CNN freaking out about the USAID cuts. Take a look here at cut four. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is hailing the end of USAID, the nation's largest foreign aid agency, even as a new analysis finds that its closure could contribute to some 14 million deaths in the next five years. What? 14 million people are going to die because of Marco Rubio?
Starting point is 00:32:24 That's a lot of people. 14 million people are going to die because of Marco Rubio? That's a lot of people. 14 million? They just say it with a straight face. Yeah, 14 million people are likely to die because of what Marco Rubio just... Holy cow. How did you arrive at this shocking conclusion? He's killing 14 million people. They're gonna die. They're going to die. And CNN's not alone. NBC. Check out this NBC post from yesterday after Marco Rubio announced the news. More than 14 million people could die over the next five years because of the Trump administration's dismantling of the US Agency for International Development, USAID, according to an analysis published Monday in the medical journal, The Lancet.
Starting point is 00:33:12 The Lancet. Now, where have I heard this word before? The Lancet. Where is the Lancet from? Oh, that's right. The Lancet is the science magazine, the science journal that lied to you about the origins of COVID. Do you remember that?
Starting point is 00:33:30 It was March of 2020, March of 2020, that the Lancet puts out a letter claiming that there is no way on God's green earth that COVID came from a lab, that it only had a natural origin. Fellows, put this very boring, but controversial Lancet article up on screen if you would. And it says here, the title of this thing is,
Starting point is 00:33:56 Statement in Support of the Scientists, Public Health Professionals, and Medical Professionals of China, Combating COVID-19. Combating COVID-19. Combating COVID-19. This was March of 2020 that they put this letter out and in it, they claim the following. We stand together to strongly condemn conspiracy theories suggesting that COVID-19 does not have a natural origin.
Starting point is 00:34:22 This was the Lancet, the same Lancet right now that is claiming that Marco Rubio is going to kill 14 million people by shutting down USAID. Scientists from multiple countries have published and analyzed genomes of the causative agent, severe acute respiratory syndrome, coronavirus 2, SARS-CoV-2, and they overwhelmingly conclude that this coronavirus originated in Wildlife, that's right It came to us from a bat into a pangolin into a human at a wet market in Wuhan China And that's how everybody got infected pay no attention to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which is right nearby now
Starting point is 00:34:58 Again on this Lancet article. Do you want to see who's on the byline? Who's on the byline on this thing? Who's in the byline? Oh, look at that name. There's a name right there. Peter Dazak is one of the guys who wrote the Lancet piece. You know who Peter Dazak is, Chad? Peter Dazak is the guy who ran a group called EcoHealth Alliance. And Anthony Fauci gave Peter Dazak and EcoHealth Alliance all of this money so that they could do this quote, research in that lab in the Wuhan Institute of Virology. So in other words, the letter in the scientific journal condemning the conspiracy theories was written by the guy
Starting point is 00:35:42 who was taking your money to fund the creation of COVID in the Wuhan Institute of Rheology. Just to be really clear about exactly what we're dealing with here. So the Lancet said it, so you have to believe it. If the Lancet says that 14 million people are going to die, you should just reflexively believe it. Now let me just tell you about the methodology of this Lancet study to the extent that we can call it real at all or in any way scientific.
Starting point is 00:36:07 Here's how they make their assumptions. They just say, okay, what countries have received money from USAID over the years? Okay, let's look at those countries. And then they start claiming that the reason fewer people are dying in those countries compared to other countries is because of USAID funding. So they're giving USAID credit probably for stuff that they don't even deserve considering USAID has just been a corrupt slush fund where people are just stealing money. They're not helping health anyway.
Starting point is 00:36:37 So they're saying they're claiming that well USAID money has been responsible for all these people being alive, surviving. That's the claim. Additionally, they operate under the assumption that if USAID money is pulled, that there's no other way that any of these programs or people are ever gonna be taken care of in any capacity. In other words, only you, only you, American taxpayer, are the reason that some struggling person is surviving
Starting point is 00:37:02 and there's no other way they're gonna survive. As soon as the money's gone, you killed them. That's the claim by the Lancet here and by NBC and by CNN, which of course is bullshit and you know it. We all know it. This claim is absurd. And in fact, Emily Jashinsky, I just had her on the program, she pointed out this week that in these articles
Starting point is 00:37:26 about this, oh, there's 14 million people going to die, they don't even mention that there are multiple organizations who have already decided to start getting money from rich people and donating on a private basis. That philanthropies have already stepped into the gap in order to cover whatever they think the USAID should be spending money on. So in other words, this is already taken care of. The whole thing is so stupid. It's so completely stupid.
Starting point is 00:37:55 It's so deceitful. And it's yet another media scam that every time they shop it around to some globalist, hacky, fake expert who writes up a study based on a tenuous methodology that has no basis in any scientific principle whatsoever, they make some absurd claim like 14 million people are going to die, and it's all used to justify a never-ending slush fund that the globalists continue to rob you with. That's all this is. And I'll tell you what, one of the great things about the era that you and I live in right now is that Marco Rubio can announce yesterday that USAID is completely shuttered.
Starting point is 00:38:33 The media can make up a story about 14 million people dying. And within five minutes, you and I have debunked the whole damn thing and we can move on with the rest of our lives. Isn't that great? Isn't that so much better than it used to be? I love it. I love it. Yeah, so keep on telling us lies.
Starting point is 00:38:48 Keep devaluing your currency as a so-called news organization. As you tell people, oh, 14 million people are gonna die. This is also not the first time we've heard this kind of garbage at all. Here's, this is a cut five. Take a listen to this.
Starting point is 00:39:04 This is Bono, the singer from U2. He was sitting down on the Joe Rogan podcast. And earlier this year, this is when they thought the numbers, they thought a couple hundred thousand would be a good lie to lean on. So at that point, it was 300,000 people are already dead. This is Bono. Listen to him. Just recent report. It's not proven, but the surveillance enough suggests 300,000 people have already died from just this cut off, this hard cut of USAID. So this food rotting in boats in warehouses there is this this this will will fuck you off this will not you will not be happy no American will but there is I think it's 50,000 tons of food that are stored in Djibouti, South Africa, Dubai, Jordan, Djibouti, Houston, Texas.
Starting point is 00:40:08 Anyway, you know, support for any of that and USAID people were asked about this. State Department people were asked about this. Doge people were asked about this in Congress, and they routinely, including Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State said that's absurd. The whole thing is absurd. It's so completely stupid. These are conspiracy theories. These are tinfoil-headed conspiracy theories that the left is pushing. And again, to be clear, what you just heard from the Trump administration is, hey, if we've got a real program
Starting point is 00:40:34 that's really helping struggling people and we think that there's value for it, we're still doing it. We're doing it at the State Department. But that slush fund, it's over. It's over. Now, Bono's not the only person freaking out about this. CNN, NBC, not the only people freaking out about this. Chuck Schumer,
Starting point is 00:40:52 hilariously freaking out about this. Take a look at cut six here. The top Democrat in the Senate saying USAID is closed. What could be next? Take a listen. Also know this is just the beginning. If Doge attacks USAID today, then you can be sure they'll move on to another target tomorrow. Who knows? Maybe it'll be the Postal Service or the IRS
Starting point is 00:41:18 or even the Social Security Administration. They could be next. Or maybe our national security agencies. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Do you promise we can get rid of the IRS? We can get rid of the national security agencies? We can get rid of all of these inefficient, corrupt, abusive taxpayer thieving organizations? Please.
Starting point is 00:41:42 That guy should cut an ad for President Trump. In fact, President Trump should just run that as a spot and say, I'm Donald Trump and I approve this message. Because that's how good that would be. Yes, let's get rid of it. In fact, President Trump ran in part on this notion that we need to make the IRS obsolete. We don't need the internal revenue service. We need the external revenue service, the ERS. So funny. So anyway, all these guys are freaking out.
Starting point is 00:42:07 Chuck Schumer freaking out. They're closing USAID. What's next? The IRS? What kind of politics is this? Who wakes up in the morning and thinks, here's what will really speak to voters. If I defend the IRS, if I get up there and I white knight for the agency that takes money out of your paycheck every single month, you're really going to vote for my party now.
Starting point is 00:42:28 Keep it up, Democrats. You're doing great. You're doing wonderfully. You're doing wonderfully. And on that point, these Democrats who are totally delusional about the politics of all of this and what the American people actually want, you saw yesterday that the president did pay a visit to Alligator Alcatraz.
Starting point is 00:42:47 Opening day, Alligator Alcatraz, the president's there, taking a tour, having a great time, standing next to Ron DeSantis. The two of them were getting along as splendidly as I've ever seen. The president said yesterday that he and Ron DeSantis are a 10 out of 10. That's how good the relationship is.
Starting point is 00:43:02 I think he caveated it at one point. He said, maybe it's a 9.9, but it's basically a 10 out of 10. Yeah, how good the relationship is. I think he caveated it at one point, he said, maybe it's a 9.9, but it's basically a 10 out of 10. Yeah, the guys are getting along great these days. And to be crystal clear, that's definitely in Ron DeSantis, his political interest, if he wants a future with you, if he wants a future with MAGA supporters, with with supporters of President Trump, he needs to be respectful of them and their decision and the fact that they
Starting point is 00:43:22 chose President Trump over Ron DeSantis in the primary process. And he clearly is. So the two of the two of these guys are definitely working together. In fact, DeSantis and the president made a big public announcement yesterday, that they're going to rapidly expand deportations by adding more deportation judges and Governor DeSantis has a novel way to do this. Just have National Guard lawyers become immigration judges.
Starting point is 00:43:50 It's a great idea. And the president's on board. Take a look. Cut one. This is we're offering up our National Guard and other folks in Florida to be deputized to be immigration judges. We're working with the Department of Justice for the approvals. I'm sure Pam will approve. But then you have, I'll have a National Guard judge advocate here. Someone has a notice to appear. Biden would tell them to come back in three years and appear.
Starting point is 00:44:15 Now you'll be able to appear in like a day or two. So they're not going to be detained, hopefully, for all that long. We'll have people here in this facility that can make, you know, it's a bureaucracy. President's got to deal with the bureaucracy. Now that Supreme Court ruling was good because that's going to allow him to be able to exercise Article 2 the way founders intended, but you still have bureaucracy. So we want to cut through that so that we have an efficient operation between Florida and DHS to get the removal of these illegals done. I love it.
Starting point is 00:44:44 I love it. I love it. I love it. Yeah, so that's a great idea. And more states should be like Florida. Thank God for Florida. Thank God for Florida. It wasn't that long ago that Florida was, it was the kind of the subject of mockery,
Starting point is 00:44:57 let's be honest, the Florida man stories and the alligators stuff. It was like, it was basically America's Australia. Like that place is weird. That place is weird. Uh, it's boy, it's changed. It's changed. Hasn't it?
Starting point is 00:45:11 Florida, that's the place to be the free state of Florida. And they move quick. You have a hurricane in a second. The emergency response is right on top of everything. They get the bridges rebuilt in, in days, in days. What'd you say, Justin? It's been 20 years since hanging chads. That's totally right.
Starting point is 00:45:31 Yeah, Florida was synonymous with election shenanigans. No more. Florida accurately and credibly counts their votes in seconds and has the results by election night. Again, every state should be modeling itself based on modern day Florida. And that includes offering their National Guard lawyers to be deportation judges.
Starting point is 00:45:52 In fact, I actually kind of think the president should take it a step further now that I'm processing it. Let's think about this together. Don't you think the president should just nationalize all of the National Guard lawyers all across the country and make them immigration judges right now. Wouldn't that be good?
Starting point is 00:46:09 How you doing? Gavin Newsom, Gavin, how you doing? Gavin Newsom was freaking out about the president exerting federal authority over the National Guard, but it's his right to do. The president should take a page out of what Ron DeSantis just suggested and get every single one of these lawyers
Starting point is 00:46:26 in the National Guard all across the country to become deportation judges, and accelerate these people out of the country. Could be good. Anyway, if anybody knows someone at the White House, let them know. It could be good. I think that'd be really neat.
Starting point is 00:46:38 Hey, okay. So we got the meeting down in Alligator Alcatraz. There was a lot of funny moments. The president is as relaxed as you've ever seen him. Like hard to blame him. He's had a huge week of victories, so he's feeling good. And he did point out that at Alligator Alcatraz, they've got these cages and it's way nicer than anything Obama had.
Starting point is 00:46:57 Remember the Obama cages where they were stacking up people like cordwood and then pretended like it wasn't their problem? Yeah, it was your problem. Obama did that. Um, here's president Trump at alligator Alcatraz saying, yeah, it's, it's a detention center and to be honest with you, Joe Biden, that son of a bitch, he wanted to keep me here. Here's the president cut to yesterday.
Starting point is 00:47:20 Viewers at home should know that this is air conditioned facility. So if any of the news claims are keeping them out in the hot humid South Florida, that is wrong. It's probably 62 degrees. Hey, Biden wanted me in here. Okay. He wanted me, it didn't work out that way, but he wanted me in here. That son of a bitch, he says that son of a bitch. He wanted me in here, but he didn't get his way. I'm glad nobody gave Obama, Biden rather that idea. I should say Obama because Obama was kind of running the show, but I'm
Starting point is 00:47:49 glad they never got that idea because that would be awful. But, but no, they weren't able to do that. And now president Trump has this big, um, theatrically efficient symbol of why that you should self-deport from the United States get out now before alligator alcatraz is your home. Let's do that. Let's get you out of here. This is one of my favorite clips of the day though.
Starting point is 00:48:13 You get an MSNBC host reacting to all of this and thinking and saying the following. I won't even preview the language of this. You're gonna hear this clip. And if you're listening while you're driving a car, just keep both hands planted on the steering wheel because I don't want you to veer off the side of the road laughing.
Starting point is 00:48:30 It is so ridiculous. Cut three, take a listen here. This is from Playbook. They call it setting the trap. They're calling it a classic dividing line political issue where a party pushes its position on a core issue, immigration, further and further toward one extreme in order to force its opponent to take a stance. Democrats have been avoiding talking about immigration all summer, but get ready for
Starting point is 00:48:54 sky-high levels of outrage if this alligator Alcatraz facility is as unpleasant as it is feared. Is this the Republican Party laying a trap for Democrats so that they can paint them as the open border party? Paint them as the open border party? Oh, that Trump, he's so tricky. He's tricking voters into thinking Democrats are the open borders party.
Starting point is 00:49:20 Nevermind the fact that the Democrats are the open borders party. That is laugh out that the Democrats are the open borders party. That is laugh out loud funny. That is so wonderfully stupid. That is unbelievable. He's painting them as the open borders party. Are you kidding me? They opened the border, they steal our taxpayer money that they import for nationals by the millions. But yes, Trump did that. Trump made them. Trump made them do that. That's actually the entire Trump presidency. Everything Trump does is meant to paint Democrats as the crazy party. You know, that's also another way of Democrats comforting themselves that they don't have to change course at all.
Starting point is 00:49:52 There's nothing they have to do. They just stay the same. It's not our fault. It's Trump's fault that people don't like us. Okay, you stick with that. You're doing great Democrats. You just keep you stay on that track. Double down on that strategy. Let's see how that pays off for you, Cotton. Really funny. Are they trying to trick voters into thinking Democrats are the open borders party? No, no, Democrats have done that perfectly fine on their own, perfectly fine on their own.
Starting point is 00:50:17 Okay, a couple of big items I have to get to before we check out here today on the show. One, huge win for women. Huge win for women yesterday. There's a big update on men cheating in women's sports. The Trump administration has struck a deal with the University of Pennsylvania, forcing the school to strip a man called William Thomas
Starting point is 00:50:42 of all of the records that he stole, all of the titles that he stole, and all of the other recognitions that he stole while competing on the women's swim team. It goes by Leah Thomas, pretends to be a woman. The University of Pennsylvania has signed an agreement to resolve its own Title IX violations. Title IX is to protect women. Hello. And so the University of Pennsylvania is going to have to undertake the following actions. It will have to restore all female athletes, individual swimming records, titles, or any recognitions that were misappropriated to men in all these female categories. The University of Pennsylvania is going to have to issue a public statement to the university community
Starting point is 00:51:26 declaring that it will comply with Title IX to protect women and that it will not let men into women's sports any longer. Additionally, they will be forced to adopt biology-based definitions for the words male and female pursuant to Title IX and consistent with the president's executive order, saying that men are men and women are women.
Starting point is 00:51:52 Also, the University of Pennsylvania is gonna have to post a statement in a prominent location on its main website and on each of its websites for women's athletics. You know, we have to put a big sign up that demonstrates the shame they should feel for what they did. The University of Pennsylvania will further rescind any guidance which violated Title
Starting point is 00:52:11 IX, remove or revise any internal or public-facing statements that are inconsistent with protecting women and notify all women's athletics of the move. And then finally, here's the big fun one. The University of Pennsylvania is going gonna send a personalized letter of apology to every impacted female swimmer, every single one. Here's Linda McMahon, the secretary of education, revealing this yesterday, as the Trump administration shared the news,
Starting point is 00:52:39 cut seven, secretary McMahon. The university will be sending a personal apology to every female athlete who is forced to compete against a man. Woohoo! Applause Isn't that awesome? Isn't that awesome? That is so wonderful.
Starting point is 00:52:58 We're done with that shit. It is so much better now. So there you go. Now, why did the University of Pennsylvania agree to this? Money. They wanted money. What power did the Trump administration wield over the University of Pennsylvania?
Starting point is 00:53:11 Money. So the University of Pennsylvania has been relying on $175 million of federal taxpayer cash, $175 million. And the Trump administration said, "'I'm sorry, you're in complete violation of Title IX. You are abusing women. There's no way in hell federal taxpayers are going to continue to fund that.
Starting point is 00:53:31 You've got to get rid of that. So they did. $175 million reasons for why the University of Pennsylvania is now complying. Now I'll remind you, this leverage has existed for a long time, but nobody's had the courage to use it until President Trump. Nobody. President Trump's in office, and now female athletes are getting handwritten apologies from a major American university for having cheated them in their own sports.
Starting point is 00:54:02 What a great, great move. What a great, great move. One more thing on money that I have to share with you. And on that issue, by the way, Lyndon McMahon says the Trump administration is going after a lot of other schools too. It's not stopping with the University of Pennsylvania. You and I are going to be doing more celebrating on this topic, in other words. Last thing, just for now, the president scored a massive victory against Paramount and CBS overnight. Paramount and CBS, remember the president sued CBS for trying to rig the election in 2024 by deceptively editing a video
Starting point is 00:54:41 that involved an interview with Kamala Harris. CBS doesn't want the heat. They want to get out of this thing. Paramount wants to get out of this thing. And they're saying that the sum here, the settlement is going to reach upwards of $30 million to settle the lawsuit against the network. The president's going to receive $16 million upfront
Starting point is 00:55:01 to cover legal fees, the case itself, and get this, contributions to his presidential library. I love it. I love it. So CBS is going to be paying to help build President Trump's library. That's wonderful and hilarious news. CBS was desperate to get out of this and clearly knew that this was going to be a very painful
Starting point is 00:55:23 process for them. So they are settling and it is ticking the left off to no end. They hate this settlement. I need to remind you though, it's not the only victory of this nature. The president has already won, remember he won that lawsuit against ABC and George Stephanopoulos? Disney, which owns ABC, paid the president $15 million, that money going to the presidential library of the president of the United States. Hilarious. Facebook, Metta, this month in January paid $25 million to President Trump to settle their
Starting point is 00:55:58 lawsuit that stretches back to 2021 with him. And then ex, formerly Twitter under Elon Musk, just paid $10 million to President Trump to settle a similar lawsuit, again, related to them banning the president and treating them like garbage in the wake of the 2020 election. So, I'm telling you, it's just amazing. It is just amazing what's going on.
Starting point is 00:56:27 Every single story I just told you over the course of the last hour, every one of them could have been the biggest story of any given month in American history. And somehow the president packs all of these stories into a week. I don't know how he does it. I don't know how he does it, but I'm grateful that he does.
Starting point is 00:56:46 And I'm grateful that you're here too. Thank you for being with me always. The best damn audience in media. It's not just the podcast. The podcast is a lot of fun.
