Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, everybody. Welcome to Vince on a Monday, man. It is so great to have you with us, the best damn audience in media. We have a big show for you today. The president is cracking down on crime and he's having a lot of success doing it. So far, things are going great in Washington, D.C. Have you heard of, remember homicide? Remember when homicide was a thing? Right now it's not a thing in the nation's capital. Amazing. I'll get into the data on that coming up. Also, the president's going to take it on to another city next. He wants to go to Chicago. We'll get into the details there. We've got J.D. Vance going on the Sunday shows this weekend, smacking the media around fantastic news. Also, Kilmar-Abrego-Garcia, he was free, and now he's back in custody.
Starting point is 00:00:42 I just can't even get over how ridiculous this whole Kilmar-Abrigo-Garcia saga is. In other words, we have a lot to get to today on this edition of Vince. I'm glad you're here for it, a lot more to get to. Hey, before we move along, I want to thank the great sponsors who make this entire show possible. Have you heard by any chance of the audience effect? Have you ever heard of the audience effect? It's the psychological theory that every person's behavior changes when they know they're being watched.
Starting point is 00:01:08 Like me, for instance. Moments ago, I wasn't talking to a camera. Now I'm talking to a camera. I know I'm being watched. Here's the thing. We're all being watched. Every time you use the internet, your service provider is recording everything that you do online.
Starting point is 00:01:19 Don't want to fall victim to this digital version of the audience effect? You don't have to. Just get ExpressVPN. With ExpressVPN, 100% of my. online activity well it's rerouted through secure encrypted servers and this makes it impossible for my ISP to see what I'm doing online none of their business Express VPN also hides your IP address so data brokers can't use it to build a profile on you then sell it to marketers and other companies Express
Starting point is 00:01:46 VPN is easy to use it just takes a click just one and it works on all of your devices and you can use it on up to eight devices at once so right now you can get an extra four months of privacy protection for free when you use my special link go to expressvpn.com slash vince and get four extra months of express VPN. That's EXPR-E-S-V-S-V-P-N.com slash Vince. Okay, we've got we've got the president of the United States doing something that nobody remembers ever happening before in Washington, D.C. In fact, for the first time in living memory, Washington, D.C. has now gone a dozen days without a homicide. A dozen days? How is that even possible that this has been achieved? John Lott, pointing out this weekend, the great John Lott
Starting point is 00:02:39 from the Crime Prevention Research Center, that D.C. has marked when he posted this, it was yesterday in the afternoon, 11 days, make it 12 now, without a homicide after President Trump's takeover. Now, what are the odds of that occurring? Well, he looked back at the 2024 data and he said it was 0.35%. The chances of a 12-day stretch, it was 11 days yesterday, an 11-day stretch without any homicides, 0.35%. And then for 2025's first seven months, 0.58% chance that this could even happen. In other words, like, it's impossible. It is completely impossible if DC continued with the status quo, if it continued the way it was being run, into the ground where criminals get to do whatever they want, they get to murder with a reckless abandon, they get to steal cars, they get to
Starting point is 00:03:29 break into stuff, they get to mug people on the streets, they get to shoot up fentanyl no matter where they are, just out of control behavior, totally allowed by the lefties who ran D.C., who do run D.C. The president taking the reins, and it is paid off big time. The lives being saved, John Lott points out, are all black, almost entirely black lives being saved in all of this. The media not really interested in telling you that story. and so john john points out this is huge huge great news to see now it's not the only data point that we've got going on the the the dc police union has been really happy with the president here here's the change in crime this is ready for this here's the change in crime stats
Starting point is 00:04:12 other than murder which we know is way down since the president took over at versus that's for two weeks now the president has run the run the operation and they compared it to the 14 days before that and here's what they learned in the process. Robbery in Washington, D.C., as of right now, is down 42%, 42%, that's as of this morning. It's down that much. Assault with a deadly weapon is down 13% in the nation's capital. Carjackings are down 85%. Car theft, 24% violent crime, 25% property crime, 10%. And total crime is down 11%. The D.C. Police Union says that it's great to have the feds helping out. They love it, but they also say that the D.C. counsel's ridiculous anti-police laws need to be repealed.
Starting point is 00:05:02 It's called the Comprehensive Policing and Justice Reform Act. This is the thing that made it really hard for cops in D.C. You know, in D.C., the cops are not allowed to chase bad guys. If the bad guy gets in the car and drives off, the cop can't chase him. And the cops are like, this is crazy. We have to get back to a place where we can chase the bad guys. You know, in D.C., the cops are not allowed to use their own body camera footage when they write down a police report. They can't look at the camera footage that they captured on. on their outfit when they fill out the police report. And then if there's a discrepancy between the written police report that just comes from the
Starting point is 00:05:31 cop's memory versus the camera, the bad guy gets away with it. It's thrown out in court. Oh, sorry. Sorry. Can't have that. And so that's the way D.C. has been operating for a very long time. And the handcuffs, if there aren't anyone, it's been on the cops in D.C. And so the president of the United States has stepped in and said, no, no, no, we're going to
Starting point is 00:05:49 change this around. We're going to get rid of all this crime. And we're going to help the cops. We're going to support them. So the good news is that D.C. has been a massive success story. So this is great. Obviously, we should take this to the next level. Don't you think, folks?
Starting point is 00:06:03 We should get to the next level where the Congress does its job again. They repealed D.C. home rule and they take over the nation's capital. They run the business of the nation's capital again, as they did before the 1970s, before they abdicated their responsibility for the capital and, of course, have heard it so badly by doing that. So that's the good news out of D.C. The president looks at this and goes, okay, is this transferable? Can we take this elsewhere? And the answer is, oh, yes, we can.
Starting point is 00:06:34 Yes, indeed. The president of the United States saying this past week, he wants to move on to Chicago next. Next up is Chicago. And what we have here is a report out of WLS, this report out of the WLS television station, ABC in in Chicago and they write that a U.S. official has confirmed that the Pentagon is planning a National Guard deployment in Chicago. According to Mayor Brandon Johnson, he's very upset about this. That's, you know, Brandon Johnson. He's a terrible mayor, very poorly rated, lowest approval rating in the country. In fact, he's the most disliked BJ in the entire country.
Starting point is 00:07:16 We have here, according to WLS, a U.S. official confirmed to A.S. official confirmed to A.S. ABC News Sunday, the Pentagon is drafting plans for the potential use of national guard troops in Chicago now, a Pentagon spokesperson saying, we're not going to speculate on further operations. The department is planning organization, is a planning organization and is continuously working with other agency partners on plans to protect federal assets and personnel. Mayor Brandon Johnson says he's in contact with county and state officials, but he says he's heard nothing from the White House. He called a possible national guard deployment in Chicago, quote, costly, illegal,
Starting point is 00:07:51 and unconstitutional. Of course, of course, this Democrat who's destroying his own city is angry that someone might come in and rescue it from him and what he's done to that city. Insanity. The Washington Post did report that the president is planning on deploying thousands, thousands of national guard troops to the city of Chicago to bring some order to a city
Starting point is 00:08:17 that desperately needs it, a great American city that needs to be restored to peace. And the president wants to do that. The leadership in Chicago doesn't. Brandon Johnson doesn't. In fact, here's Brandon Johnson this weekend complaining on one of the Sunday shows. Cut one, that the president is doing something that he hates. So therefore, it's bad.
Starting point is 00:08:35 It's bad for our country. Chicago is a mess. You have an incompetent mayor, grossly incompetent. And we'll straighten that one out probably next. That'll be our next one after this. And it won't even be tough. Mayor Johnson. yes your reaction to what you just heard yeah yeah well listen you know the president of the united
Starting point is 00:09:00 states of america has repeated this you know petulant presentation since he is assumed office and you know if the reporting is actually true what he is proposing at this point would be the most flagrant violation of our constitution in the 21st century wrong the city of of Chicago does not need a military occupation, that's not what we need. In fact, we've been very clear about what we need. We need to invest in people to ensure that we can build safe and affordable communities. That's what I've done as mayor since assuming office. It's unfortunate that this president is working overtime to divide in his attempt to conquer working families and to conquer cities across America. But this is clearly a violation of the Constitution.
Starting point is 00:09:51 and we're going to remain firm and vigilant in our commitment to ensure that our democracy is protected and our humanity is secured. This guy's a freaking idiot. What a goal that jackass is. So he's not conquering families. He's not hurting Americans. He's not going after peaceful people. He's not using the police state against his political opponents. That's all what the left does.
Starting point is 00:10:14 That's what people like you do, Brandon Johnson. What President Trump wants to do is rescue the people of Chicago from the. chaos that they have to live through every single day. Chicago's not alone. A lot of cities in the country that are like this, all run by Democrats right into the ground and life is much too chaotic. The president does believe, as I keep emphasizing, that we deserve a safe country, that as an American, you deserve something better. So President Trump was elected on a promise to deliver that something better. And that's what he's going to do. And so don't bother getting in his way. let him do the job, let him clean up the city.
Starting point is 00:10:51 I get it. It's embarrassing to you. It demonstrates the failure that you represent. But I don't care what it does to your ego. I just want to see what we can do for Chicago. I think it'll go a long way if we can get that city cleaned up. If the president succeeds here, it'll be once again another lesson in the value of law enforcement and why we need it and how it does protect the community and why we should be.
Starting point is 00:11:13 You want to invest in a community? Invest in the cops. Take the handcuffs off of them and let them go after the criminals. That's how you invest. And then you heard Brandon Johnson there say that if the president gets his way that this will be the most sincere threat to the Constitution of the 21st century,
Starting point is 00:11:29 no way in hell does that guy know what he's even talking about. This is just projection on the part of the left. Think about the threats to the Constitution that this country has endured this century. How about weaponizing an entire justice system against your political opponents just because they disagree with you and just because you don't want to lose power?
Starting point is 00:11:47 That's what the left has done. That's what they do when they go after parents who go to school board meetings and are concerned about what's happening to their kids in school. That's what they do when they go after people who sing church hymns outside of abortion mills. When they go after fathers like Mark Halk who are just defending their kid from crazy people outside of an abortion operation. That's what they do. That's what they do when they go after January 6 defendants, lock them away, throw away the key. When they go after people like Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon and Roger Stone, when they go after President Trump himself and try and use the justice system to prevent him from getting back into office.
Starting point is 00:12:21 You want to talk about sincere threats to the Constitution? All of those are as sincere as you can possibly get. Oh, yeah, and never mind the fact that the last president of the United States didn't have a functioning brain and you had people who were pretending to be the president out of sight wielding the power of the presidency through the auto pen. We want to talk about sincere threats to the Constitution? We've been living through them. President Trump was elected as an answer to them.
Starting point is 00:12:49 And here he is now trying to clean up the mess that you've created Brandon Johnson. So Brandon Johnson's pissed about all this. I'm pissed that Brandon Johnson's screwing up a great city. Here's Brandon Johnson, though, going a step further. Now, you listen to this and you tell me, chat, what you think of Brandon Johnson's assessment here. He says if President Trump sends in a rescue for Chicago, it might be incumbent on the people of Chicago to stage. an insurrection? Cut two.
Starting point is 00:13:18 Take a listen to this. And so, you know, look, we're going to remain firm. We'll take legal action, but the people in this city are accustomed to rising up against tyranny. And if that's necessary, I believe that the people of Chicago will stand firm alongside of me as I work every single day to protect the people of this city. Acustomed to rising up against tyranny, we will rise up against the president of the United States. The mayor of Chicago says that the plan is he wants to whip the people of his city into a frenzy. Now, we'll see how far he can get. He's got 6% approval rating, so we'll find out
Starting point is 00:13:56 how big his posse is here. But he wants to whip everybody into a frenzy to rise up against the sitting duly elected president of the United States. You tell me how that's not an insurrection, exactly, from Brandon Johnson. Boy, how do these people elected? Democrats. How does anybody elect a Democrat at this rate? You understand what this party represents? They're the party of complete chaos. The only thing he even said that was approaching some kind of answer was how to deal with violence is we need more community investment. As if crime is merely an outgrowth of somebody just falling on hard times. The left likes to frame this up like, oh, people are poor so they steal food in order to feed their families.
Starting point is 00:14:44 That's the way they kind of describe all this. That's not what this is. Why, for instance, in Washington, D.C., have we seen an explosion in teen carjackings? It's not so that kids could steal cars to go fetch food for their starving, impoverished families. It's so that people can have the thrill of doing something awful and they're not having any consequences for it. Kids learn that there were no consequences,
Starting point is 00:15:07 so they kept doing it to impress one another. It was a culture of lawlessness that was inculcated by a city that refused to enforce the law. That's so obviously true. You have to have hit your head not to understand the lessons here. And the same is true in Chicago. The same is true in Chicago. The same is true in Chicago. The more lawlessness you aid in the bet, the more you're going to get. And it's nothing to do with poor struggling people trying to make ends meet and everything to do with you encouraging the very criminality that's wrecking your city. So it's time for the adults to come in, you jackass and take care of that city. The president wants to do that. So that's
Starting point is 00:15:44 that's good news very good news um love seeing that love seeing the president go after chicago a few thousand troops expected to come in there uh and uh it'll be good um coming up today on the program i'm going to be talking to uh julie kelly julie kelly's stopping by looking forward to chat with her when she does stop by want to talk to her about what happened on friday john bolton's house gets a visit right he gets raided by the fbi as they're rifling through all of these documents looking for classified information national security secrets that john bolton took and then disseminated definitely in his book and the idea is like hey you weren't allowed to do any of this who do you think you are the try the Biden administration went out of their way
Starting point is 00:16:24 as a cleanup operation to try and make it all go away and and I told you on Friday it was it was cash Patel and Dan Bongino that reopened this whole thing they did they reopened it a mature investigation gets its life back and now John Bolton is under investigation for credible accusations they pull a warrant from a magistrate in Maryland that the the judge signed off on because the evidence was clear enough to justify the warrant against John Bolton. This thing's on the up and up. And yet the left is accusing, isn't it great what they do? It's so amazing. It's the same thing every time it's projection. The left is accusing Trump of being Soviet. Here's an MSNBC guest by the name of Tom Nichols this weekend doing
Starting point is 00:17:04 the old. Oh, Trump is just like Stalin. Take a look. People keep trying to do the call back to Germany in the 1930s. To me, maybe because I spent so much time studying it and being there, this to me is like the Soviet Union in the 1950s. This is, you know, you've run afoul of the party, comrade, and now you're going to be investigated for your unpatriotic and, you know, anti-party-like tendencies cooperating with foreign imperialists and all these kind of crazy show trial charges. I mean, this whole thing is just, you know, I mean, it's hard i know it's hard for people to take seriously but you know jen's point about the judges not just judges have to take this seriously everybody citizens elected officials because even though
Starting point is 00:17:51 these guys come across as clowns they're clowns with flame throwers what a pudgy loser all right so this is the whole thing you what you're seeing right now and i gotta let me just prepare you for what's going to come next just i'll project forward for you how this is all going to go so that guy that that pudgy loser. His reaction to John Bolton being credibly investigated by the FBI is over the top. It's hysterical. It's projection. You know, the left this weekend is saying, oh, this is Soviet.
Starting point is 00:18:24 There's an old Soviet expression. Show me the man and I'll show you the crime. In other words, President Trump is just merely targeting John Bolton because John Bolton says mean things about Trump. That's what's happening here. And this thing is, first of all, the left has been operating this way. the show me the man show you the crime operation precisely why i mentioned people like you know peter navarro and and steve bannon and carter page and mike flin all of that was soviet targeting by the left it wasn't about actual crimes it was about crushing their political opponents
Starting point is 00:18:58 and sending a message to the rest of us hey you want the same fate then you stand up for trump you'd be a part of that movement because that same fate awaits you that was the message that was being sent. And, you know, these guys, the Trump administration, if anything, those of us on the right who've been watching this, we're frustrated by the pace because we want it to move faster, right? Right, chat? You want all this stuff to go faster. I do too. I want to see people handcuffs. I want to see people prosecute him. And so on Friday we get this raid of John Bolton, which is good. You know, Bolton should be held accountable for whatever he did wrong. And I don't doubt for a second that Cash Patel and Dan Bongino have his number. But look at the left
Starting point is 00:19:37 and how they're screeching right now about this, how upset they are right now about John Bolton, a guy who a decade ago, they hated John Bolton. He was Dick Cheney to them, who by the way they also love now, because Dick Cheney's anti-Trump, so they love Dick Cheney. Just you wait until it's not Bolton anymore.
Starting point is 00:19:58 Wait until it's Brennan. Wait until it's calming. Wait until it's Democrats who are being picked up by this operation. when that happens that screeching's going to get more hysterical that that's going to be over the top that pudgy loser dude he's going to be crying on national television just you wait for that that's ahead i've got a lot more ahead including the vice president of the united states is reacting to all this stupidity too which is great jd vance is a great american i can't wait to share this with you we'll do that

You know, my wife, Allison, sometimes when we're in the car, she'll be looking down at her phone or something, reading some email. And as she's looking down and not up at the road, she starts to get a little bit of motion sickness. She's like, oh, I feel a little car sick.

Reliefband.com promo code Vince. Thank you to Reliefband. Great, great operation. All right. So John Bolton gets the FBI raid.
Starting point is 00:22:16 The media are apoplectic. They can't stand this. Meanwhile, they were cheering on when Roger Stone had a SWAT team show up at his house and floating in the canal behind his home in Florida, you know, absolutely terrorizing him and his wife. Craziness. And John Bolton and his mustache gets,
Starting point is 00:22:34 some scrutiny and the press goes absolutely bonkers. And that led to this this weekend. J.D. Vance was on with Kristen Welker on Meet the Press. And he was asked about this. Are you doing retribution? Are you hurting the people who don't like you? And here's what J.D. Vance had to say to that. Cut for. Take a look at this. You know, a lot of people have already looked at this and said, this looks a lot like retribution. Is this retribution? Well, who has said it looks a lot like retribution, Kristen, a lot of people who tried to throw Donald Trump in prison for completely fake charges that were later thrown out by multiple different courts. I suspect that if the media and the American people let this case actually unfold, if they let the investigation unfold as it's
Starting point is 00:23:19 currently doing, they're going to find out that what we're doing is being very deliberate and being very driven by the national interest and by the law here. And that's as it should be. Yeah, oh my gosh, isn't it so nice to have an adult in charge? Isn't it nice to have adults who can answer a question? and be like, actually, we're doing this in a sober way. We're letting the facts guide us here. We're not targeting people on the basis of whether or not they like us or not. That's not what this is about. This is about doing the job the American people elected us to do in enforcing the law appropriately, the laws that are on the books.
Starting point is 00:23:48 And, you know, of course, like, Kristen Walker's like, this is retribution. He's like, who says that? The people who kept trying to throw Trump in jail, the people were trying to remove him from the ballot? Come on, spare us these stupid talking points from the party that represents. these types of gross violations of the power that the people have entrusted in them. Crazy. J.D. Vance is good
Starting point is 00:24:12 in a lot of ways. J.D. Vance was running circles around these guys this weekend. Running circles around Kristen Welker. In fact, she was talking to him about illegal aliens and the left here so fundamentally dishonest doing this thing well, illegals aren't allowed to vote. Why are you so concerned about illegals in our elections?
Starting point is 00:24:28 Here's J.D. Vance, cut five, just smacking Kristen Welker around and going, yeah, the illegals have a lot of. a huge impact on our elections. Watch. Of course, people who are here and who are not documented or not eligible to vote. But let me- They're not eligible to vote, but they do go in the congressional apportionment. That's why California has so many more seats is because they count illegal aliens. So even though they don't vote, well, some of them actually do vote, but hopefully most of them don't, they end up getting congressional representation that ought by right go to
Starting point is 00:24:57 American citizens. I know. Okay, so here's why that's so important. It's not just that Kristen Welker was given a lesson that she needed she knows that already she knows that detail she's probably surprised that jd vans was able to whip it out so quickly here's the thing that is for the meet the press consuming audience wherever they are and however big it is all across the country so christin wucker puts the false talking point out well they're not eligible to vote and then jd vans comes flying in from it with a top rope jump and lands on an lands on her with an elbow and says yeah illegals are completely distorting our elections. We apportioned congressional seats and electoral college votes based on those illegals. And that is completely unfair to American citizens whose votes are
Starting point is 00:25:40 watered down by that action. That should not be happening. And Kristen Walker has nothing to say to it because it's unimpeachably true. And so J.D. Vance, we want to talk about a guy who's capable, it's that guy. J.D. Vance has got his stuff together. And I love this thing. I think, I hope he just keeps doing these kinds of adversarial interviews because every time he does, He's very good. Here's another one. She tried to confront him with like, oh, Republicans are trying to rig elections by gerrymandering, Texas. And J.D. says, you serious?
Starting point is 00:26:13 You want to talk about rigging elections and the way gerrymandering is done in the country? Get a load of Democrats. Cut six. Take a listen to this. If President Trump's agenda is so popular, why do Republicans need to add additional seats to the map? Well, first of all, Kristen, you have to ask yourself, why have Democrats gerrymandered their states, aggressively over the past 10 to 20 years. If you look, for example, at the popular vote
Starting point is 00:26:36 in a lot of these states and Massachusetts, where 32% of the residents of Massachusetts voted for Republicans, zero Republican federal representatives. So we're not trying to sort of, all we're doing, frankly, is trying to make the situation a little bit more fair on a national scale. The Democrats have gerrymandered their states really aggressively. We think there are opportunities to push back against that,
Starting point is 00:27:00 and that's really all we're doing. And yet, Mr. Vice President, you were able to win the House in the Senate in 2024. Why can't you do it again without adding a deal? But we had way, but this is a very important question, Kristen. We had way fewer House seats than we should have. One, if the Democrats hadn't aggressively gerrymandered, and two, if illegal aliens weren't counted in the census for purposes of apportioning congressional seats. The best estimates I've seen is that in California, for example, has five additional congressional seats than it should have because they count illegal aliens. for the purpose of apportioning representatives.
Starting point is 00:27:33 Meanwhile, Ohio, my home state lost a representative. We're literally losing representatives for American citizens in order to give congressional representation to illegal aliens. Republicans are trying to balance out the scales a little bit for basic fairness and for the integrity of our democracy, which the president cares about as much as anybody in the country. This is so good. I love these clips.
Starting point is 00:27:55 I love them so much. You know, J.D., explaining all of that really well, and none of this should have been happening. I love how she's like, well, aren't you satisfied with the fact that you have slim majorities in the House and the Senate? What more could you ask for? Are you serious right now? Do you know much easier it would be if Republicans had the margins that the voters intended them to have? I'm not saying Republicans are great. Republicans have a long way to go before they're great. They have a lot of lessons to learn from people like President Trump and J.D. Vance, the Republicans in the House and the Senate. But that said, there's no reason that the margins should be as slim as they are right now, especially in the House.
Starting point is 00:28:31 House, especially in the House. The Senate, those are statewide elections to begin with. So that's not a gerrymandered situation. But the House is. And as a result, you get this very slim margin in the House that you should not exist. In the last census, blue states were overcounted. Blue states were given all sorts of extra votes that they didn't deserve on top of the fact that they've imported a bunch of illegal aliens into those populations in order to pad the numbers. And then red states were undercounted in terms of their actual population. We know that for a fact. And as a result, there are fewer Republican members
Starting point is 00:29:07 of Congress than there should be. And there are way more Democrat members of Congress than there should be. In other words, the system is rigged in the favor of Democrats. And despite those advantages, the Democrats don't control the House and the Senate right now, despite the fact that they rigged the system, paid off the refs, fixed the scoreboard.
Starting point is 00:29:27 They still couldn't win under those circumstances. There was an expression for this in 2024. What did the president say? Too big to rig. Too big to rig. And now that the president's in a position to do something about it, that Republicans are in a position to do something about this, they should use their power to fix the system,
Starting point is 00:29:48 not to tilt it unfairly in their direction, as much as some of us might want that. But instead, just to make it fair. Because if it was fair, conservatives would be better represented in our government right now. Jady Vance is right. He's very right about this. All right. Coming up, I've got Julie Kelly stopping by.
Starting point is 00:30:08 I love Julie Kelly. She's so great. And she's going to talk to us all about what is happening here as we try and right-size the justice system, get it back into shape, and to go after people like John Bolton who deserve these investigations. So give us her thoughts on all of the breaking news and who might be arrested next. We'll talk about it. Starting point is 00:33:19 Speaking of the best, I'm joined by the great Julie Kelly now. Julie Kelly has been tracking all of the machinations of the world. of judicial tyranny when the left was controlling things. Now that President Trump's in charge, we have a different story to tell. You can follow Julie Kelly on X, and you can get to her a great substack. Julie Kelly, great to talk to you, as always. You too, Vince, you are awfully chipper for only having a few hours of sleep. So kudos to you.
Starting point is 00:33:49 And congratulations to your parents, 40 years. That is a big accomplishment. So I'm sure you had a great celebration. It was really nice. You know, the good thing was, you know, my brothers and I, we all live in different spots in the country, but we all got together and all the kids were there. And so it was really nice for everybody to be together. My dad, you may or may not know, is a Marine Corps General. He's retired. And my mom wanted him in the same outfit that he wore when they got married. So he wore his uniform for the renewal. And it was just a beautiful. It was a small ceremony in our church, but it was beautiful.
Starting point is 00:34:21 And it was great. It was really great. So thank you. That's wonderful. Yes. Very cool. So Friday, we saw Rudy Giuliani's home get raided in Bethesda, Maryland. Excuse me, not Rudy. Forget it. Rudy got raided before. He got raided again? See, now there's evidence that I'm a little sleepy.
Starting point is 00:34:39 Now, John Bolton gets raided on Friday. And the media have spent the weekend being apoplectic about this because apparently one of their own is being hassled here. And they're to consider, I just played a clip from MSNBC, a guy called Tom Nichols telling us that, oh, this is Soviet. This is like, you know, this is like, show me the man, I'll show you the crime operation. What do you think of this in terms of, like,
Starting point is 00:35:02 is John Bolton the kind of guy who deserves this kind of scrutiny? Well, first of all, and hopefully we can dig in a little bit more into the total hypocrisy of the media, including papers like the Wall Street Journal and their editorial after this. So it's unclear exactly why. they raided John Bolton's home and apparently his office in Washington, D.C., but there is speculation that it has to do with his keeping, unlawfully keeping classified material, government, national security, information, and possibly leaking it to the media.
Starting point is 00:35:44 So, of course, both of those are crime. There has been also speculation that this relates to his publishing classified material in his 2020. memoir that at the time the Trump DOJ sued to try to put a hold on the release of that book that was released in late June of 2020 just to coincide with the presidential election. A federal judge events did review the material and did conclude that he was recklessly publishing classified information in his book but refused to issue a temporary restraining order halting that. So we're not sure what exactly was in the application for the search warrant, but it does appear that he will be brought up on charges imminently in the short term, and then we will discern and be able to figure out exactly what they are investigating him
Starting point is 00:36:43 for. So one thought, you know, you know these, you know these guys, you know Cash Patel and Dan Banji, you know, who run the FBI. You know, there's no secret that they're under a lot of pressure from the people who support them to hold people accountable, you know, to go after the people who have abused their power in our government. My thought going into seeing what happened Friday was like, they're not doing this. This is not a hip shot. This is not a circumstance where they think this is going to fizzle out
Starting point is 00:37:10 and there's going to be no consequences. Did you something so high profile and so early with a guy like John Bolton? It suggests to me they think they've got a pretty airtight case, don't you think? I believe so. And this, the warrant was signed off apparently reportedly by a magistrate judge in Maryland. So this is the jurisdiction under which he will be investigated. So obviously that's his residence where he lives. So again, time will tell exactly what he's being investigated for.
Starting point is 00:37:41 But this was a welcome development, at least on our side. As you know, Vince, because you are right, Cash and Dan, Attorney General Pam Bondi and her team under immense pressure. to start indicting those responsible for the lawfare against the president, abusing their authority, abusing access to government secrets like John Bolton apparently still has, although the president did revoke his security clearance right after he was sworn in. So, but look, John Bolton is a longtime swamp creature, 50 plus years in Washington, D.C., his dirty fingerprints all over some of the worst foreign policy decisions this country has ever made. And then bragging about and throwing in the face of the president, his access to classified
Starting point is 00:38:31 material and publishing it in his book just a few months before Election Day in 2020. He is just one of many individuals in Washington who use their access, who abuse their authority and their influence to try to take down President Trump. So this is one shot across the bow. As you know, when you've talked to people and interviewed people, does appear that their grand jury investigations, proceedings, and other jurisdictions related to other potential lawfare perpetrators. Okay, so we'll talk a little bit more about those in a moment.
Starting point is 00:39:12 But go ahead and reflect on the media, would you? Because the press is doing something. I just told the audience that this is only the warm-up act. The way the press is reacting to John Bolton's raid this past week is it just pales in comparison to what's going to come next. If we see a Brennan or a Comey arrested and prosecuted here, the hysteria is going to be turned up to another level. What do you think of the press's reaction so far? I mean, I think that they are laying the groundwork, Vince, for doing exactly what you just said. So they're hyperventilating about John Bolton without knowing the details of what the nature of this investigation,
Starting point is 00:39:54 simply speculating that this is retaliation by the president and nothing more. And to read this on the pages, the editorial pages of a place like the Wall Street Journal, where John Bolton, by the way, is a contributor. And I posted this last night. Maybe you didn't see it. You probably didn't. Although maybe because you were delayed, you did. But I went through that editorial.
Starting point is 00:40:16 and I posted snippets from what the editors at the Wall Street Journal said. And in one sentence, they said, well, we've never experienced John Bolton leaking to us classified information. So ergo, he would never do something like that. I mean, the twisted thinking that it requires to presume that these sort of investigations and potential prosecutions are only part of a revenge or retaliation crusade by the president. And not that we know these people committed crimes. We know that John Brennan committed crimes. We know James Comey did.
Starting point is 00:40:54 We know Jim Clapper did. We know that all of them did. The very least perjury, obstruction of justice, conspiring against rights, as Mike Davis has talked about. That's just what we know. So the idea that they, yes, of course, they are presumed innocent, except that we have evidence to the contrary. Wait, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:41:18 They've gotten away with it. I just want to clarify something. Let me clarify something with you. You said the Wall Street Journal editorial board said that Bolton had never leaked to them so they don't believe he's a leaker. Did they really use that logic in their op-ed? I mean, I can pull up the exact sentence, but that was what they said. That was not their experience with John Bolton.
Starting point is 00:41:39 that doesn't make any sense so if if anybody understands how a news operation works the editorial board does is not involved in the acts of journalism of the paper the people who write the editorial for the paper are the opinion department they're not the journalists who'd be receiving the classified leaks so it doesn't even make sense what they're saying they're basically trying to use the fact that the public isn't broadly aware of that as a as a form of some kind of deception to make that claim that's very bizarre it's extremely bizarre the whole editorial was really shameful but look this is part of the trajectory of the wall street journal and it's really disappointing because it used to be a great paper to read and that you felt like you know in this cacophony of corporate media that the
Starting point is 00:42:32 wall street journal especially their editorial page stood out against the new york times and washington Post and other big news outlets as, you know, bringing some sanity to the opinions of what or, you know, observations about what was happening politically. Their editorial and even their news reporting is becoming indistinguishable from the Washington Post and New York Times. In fact, they have poached reporters like Molly Ball, who worked at Time Magazine, who wrote that infamous piece, remember in 2021, bragging about how the left conspired behind the scenes to sabotage the presidential election.
Starting point is 00:43:13 These are the sort of reporters that the Wall Street Journal is bringing on. And now their editorials reflect that, you know, left-leaning bias that the paper now has. So really shameful editorial, but just, you know, part of what we can expect to see back to what you said as more perhaps searches, raids, and certainly indictments are handed down. future. Let me move on to one of the other guys who's being investigated right now. All signs point to a grand jury has been impaneled to look into California Senator Adam Schiff and his mortgage fraud. And as Ed Martin, the weaponizations are, has made pretty clear. If they're starting with mortgage fraud and a grand jury, that's not the only place they're going
Starting point is 00:43:57 to end up. They're going to end up at a lot of other places too. Here's Adam Schiff being asked this weekend by NBC about whether or not he is indeed committing mortgage. fraud. Take a look here. Here's cut seven, Adam Schiff on NBC. Take a list. Mortgage company, Fannie Mae says you're, quote, engaged in a sustained pattern of possible occupancy misrepresentation on several loans. Are these allegations true? How do you respond to them? They're patently false. And the president knows that in the housing agency, president's person, Pulte knows it. He's essentially doing the president's bidding against me, against Letitia James, against this person on the Federal Reserve.
Starting point is 00:44:37 Mortgage is their new weapon to go after their critics. But I've been very open about my residency, both in California and in Maryland, with my constituents and with the lenders. So there's no there there. But the common denominator is they will manufacture anything to go after their critics. Yeah. Meanwhile, the facts are, of course, not on his side at all because the there is there. In the documents, he claimed both the primary residence in California as well as Maryland in order to get favorable loan terms. So they've got him dead to rights, and he's just annoyed that they caught him, Julie. That's right.
Starting point is 00:45:14 I mean, to hear those words trickle out of Adam Schiff's mouth. I mean, when his lips are moving, he's lying. Again, going back to we have demonstrated evidence of crimes committed by people, also like Adam Schiff, access to classified information, that he was leaking, misleading Congress and the American public in official congressional documents. about the Rushie Gate investigation. Remember his memo that followed up Devin Nunes's February 2018 memo, exposing the ties between the DNC and Hillary Clinton and Fusion GPS and putting that all together. Adam Schiff then wrote a follow-up, I think it was a day or so later, filled with lies.
Starting point is 00:45:57 Now, this is an official congressional record. So the fact that he escaped punishment and culpability, this is why the MAGA base is so frustrated. and I think overly anxious to start seeing arrests because we have to see people like Adam Schiff not just facing consequences for what he did to the president and deceiving the American people. He's actually elevated to the U.S. Senate. So I have no doubt that Ed Martin is very busy,
Starting point is 00:46:30 has his hands full in both of those investigations. And to your point, speculating that this, could lead to other areas of possible incrimination as well. But see, this is one of the reasons why you're so important in this story is, first of all, obviously, because we all deserve the truth and you're constantly digging for it. But here's the other thing is like, you and I both kind of know what happens next. If Adam Schiff is handcuffed for his behavior, God willing, he is. If that happens, we're going to see a full-blown media firestorm alleging that the president
Starting point is 00:46:59 is doing something Soviet. They're already suggesting it now that that's what he's up to. And in order for us to push back on those lies, you have to know what the truth is. You have to know what the actual receipts are and what this guy and everybody around him is guilty of as they abuse their power, Julie. Correct. And luckily, I did cover the Rushigate hoax as it started to unfold in 2017. So I do know the background of that. And, of course, it's the common threat between crossfire hurricane, Russiagate, the Ukrainian impeachment, of course, that Adam Schiff.
Starting point is 00:47:34 led that on, then all the way through January 6th and the January 6th investigation and prosecution of the president in that, the classified documents, same sort of people, same people behind this entire operation for almost a decade. And what do we have? No one held accountable except one attorney who faced a perjury conviction and got a slap on the wrist. That's it. So it is important. I think, well, it's valuable for someone like me covering now the lawfare and the, shall we say, comeuppance of these individuals dating back to RussiGate. So you can explain to people who aren't that familiar with RussiGate. You know, we can talk about it. Obviously, Dan wrote a book on it. I talk about it in my books as well. But you have to
Starting point is 00:48:25 make sure that the American people are, their memories are refreshed about who, you know, who is responsible for perpetrating the biggest, most destructive political hoax in U.S. history. And these are the same people we are still hearing from. And so that's why it's important to kind of remind, refresh people, remind people what happened during the Russia Gate hoax. And I commend Tulsi Gabbard and the Attorney General and Chuck Grassley's office and Jim Jordan's office for forcing the productions and public release of those emails.
Starting point is 00:49:01 of material that further prove exactly how dirty that operation was. Although, you know something I would like to see is I'd like to see the communications ahead of the Mar-a-Lago raid. I would love to know more about what exactly the FBI was looking for inside of that building. It wasn't, oh, we just needed to recover classified information. No, there's a lot more to that story, I think, that should be made public, don't you think?
Starting point is 00:49:24 Oh, absolutely. And as you know, I covered that case in Florida. I went to the courthouse numerous times to cover the proceedings and all the documents there. And what they exposed, and really, I have to commend the judge in that case, Judge Eileen Cannon, she knew from the very beginning. She had serious questions about what happened during that raid, why they approved that raid, what happened with evidence that was handled afterwards. Remember, Judge Cannon in September, this was almost now three years ago, took the very unusual,
Starting point is 00:49:57 and I think courageous step of appointing what they call a special master, a third party to take all the evidence that the FBI collected at Marilago and vet that evidence, not trusting the DOJ and FBI to do it cautiously and objectively, which is what she said in her order. Now, that order was overturned by the 11th Circuit, but she eventually was proven right because as I covered and as we know, they did mishandle evidence. They were close to admitting before the case was tossed in July of 20, 24. They were close to admitting that they lost some of the files that they claimed were classified. We know Vince, and I reported this as soon as it happened, that that infamous photo of files sprawled across
Starting point is 00:50:47 the floor in Mar-a-Lago with all these different colored cover sheets and classified top-secret. The FBI brought those cover sheets. Not only did they bring them there. saying, oh, we were going to use them as replacement sheets for where we found these files and boxes. No. Then they had to admit in last summer that they clipped those cover sheets to the folders or to the papers and then took photos, added that to a court filing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. They staged the photos. It's all so crazy. And then, of course, they never did the same to Biden as they found the documents in the garage. They didn't fan them out on the hood of the classic Corvette or anything.
Starting point is 00:51:27 No, it's wild. Okay, so before you go, Julie, do you have any inkling as to who might be next? We see John Bolton raided on Friday, but who do you suspect is going to receive a visit from the FBI in some capacity next? I'm not really sure, but Vince, back to the Mar-a-Lago raid. You know I covered both of special counsel, Jack Smith's cases against the president. I want to see culpability for what Jack Smith and his team of floor. Thugs did J. Brad and David Harbock in Florida, Molly Gaston, and Tom Windham in Washington, D.C. I want to see those communications as well. And I want to see where they lead to at the Biden White House.
Starting point is 00:52:10 We know in the classified documents case that they were in communication with one of the White House general counsels at the time as early as 2021 on that case. I want to see those communications as well. And I want those dirty prosecutors. including Jack Smith and that special counsel team who put the president through hell for no reason. I want those people because they really, in many ways, were the tip of the sphere of the new era of lawfare against the president. So I'm hoping that's still underway. And I think you like me think that part of the reason that they raided Mar-a-Lago at all, maybe the chief reason, was they were looking for Russia-Gate documents that they didn't want to become public, evidence of their crimes. and they wanted to destroy them. And that was the whole purpose under this ridiculous pretext.
Starting point is 00:52:58 And now we just need the final pieces to put it all together. I've read speculation about that. I've heard that for years. I really think it was more just a stunt. It was a publicity stunt because they knew that President Trump was going to announce he was running for re-election again. The president and his team had already been cooperating for over a year with the archives and then with the DOJ. Right. Think about this, Vince. On June 3rd of 2022, Jay Brat and two of his three FBI agents went to Mar-a-Lago. The president was there, told him, look for whatever you want. Two months later, they raid Mar-a-Lago. Were they looking for Russia Gate documents, possibly? I don't know. But I think more so than that, this was a publicity stunt to create optics. And again, underscore the idea that the president was a criminal, that he was reckless and he should not be re-elected. I think that. it was more motivation and the objective of that raid than really looking for any sort of documents.
Starting point is 00:53:59 Yeah. Why not both? It could be both. Hey, Julie, you're great. Thank you for constantly digging in here. And people, of course, should follow you on X and on Substack, Declassified with Julie Kelly. Julie, great to talk to you, as always. Thanks, Vince. Have a great week. You too. There is. Here she is Julie Kelly. Thank you so much for joining us today. You want to talk about guys who are actually criminals, guys who actually have a bad, track record that should not be in our country at all. How about Kilmar Abrago Garcia?
Starting point is 00:54:29 Have you been tracking the latest with Kilmar? So Kilmar was this past week in Tennessee. He was freed. A judge freed Kilmar-A-Brega-Garcia. Let me put this up on the full-screen fellas. Take a look here. This is Kilmar being released from prison. I'll just mute it.
Starting point is 00:54:48 I'll play it on my screen. And here he is being released from prison. On Friday, there he is, getting out in Cookville, Tennessee, and they're leading him away from the jailhouse. Now, he's awaiting his, basically his human trafficking trial because the government has determined that over and over and over, he was trafficking human beings into the country. And so he was brought back into the United States to stand trial. And, you know, he was released Friday. So he gets in the car and he's en route to Maryland. They take him to Maryland.
Starting point is 00:55:22 The private security team takes him to Maryland. And he arrived over the weekend. And this morning, he was ordered to report to ICE in the Baltimore area. And so he did. And just ahead of his arrival at the ICE facility, he was giving a press conference this morning, talking in Spanish as he had a translator with him from an organization called Casa. Kasa is a pro-illegal alien operation that is based primarily in Maryland. And here's what it sounded like this morning, 7.10 a.m. Eastern time, just a short time before we got the show started today.
Starting point is 00:56:04 Here's Kilmar-Abrego-Garcia speaking to the public. Take a look at this. Thank you, to God. Thank you, to God, and a gracias to all the community. This was a miracle. Thank you to God. and thank you to the community power. And for that I want to say
Starting point is 00:56:23 to you guys to each one of you who marcheded, levanted, levanted their voices, and they never to believe and to fight for my liberty. And this is why I want to thank each and every one of you
Starting point is 00:56:38 who marched, lift your voices, never stopped praying, and continued to fight in my name. Okay, so that's Kilmar-Ibrigo-Garcia this morning, giving Kamala Harris level speech about how grateful he is for all the support. And I remember, just for those of you don't remember this guy, I'll just give you the quick summary on him.
Starting point is 00:56:57 He's very obviously MS-13, plenty of evidence of his gang affiliations, including his MS-13 tattoo that covers his fist. The guy has been accused, caught, pulled over, doing human trafficking through the years. He's beat his wife over and over and over again, according to her own testimony, calls to cops and and basically interrupt moments of desperation calling law enforcement about this and here he is back in the country now the president of the united states sent him to el salvador he's from el salvador and uh the left demanded that he come back including uh Maryland senator Chris van Holland Democrat who paid Abrago Garcia a conjugal visit down in El Salvador now that
Starting point is 00:57:40 Abrago Garcia is back in the United States Chris Van Hollen over the weekend held a an intimate Zoom call with him on Sunday to chat with him some more about how much he loves him and wants to keep him here in the country. But the future for Abrago Garcia is not to stay here. I know people were concerned. Oh, he was released. And there he is free as of this morning. Well, the update to that story is he's no longer free.
Starting point is 00:58:07 Kilmar has been once again arrested by immigration and customs enforcement moments after the video i just played for you secretary christie noem posting to social media today ice law enforcement arrested kilmar abrego garcia and are processing him for deportation president trump is not going to allow this illegal alien who has an ms 13 gang member human trafficker serial domestic abuser and child predator to terrorize american citizens any longer so just like that kilmar gets picked up again by ice. Tom Holman and the gang take him in the custody and they're going to send him out of the country. Now it's just a matter of where's it going? Costa Rica, Uganda. Oh, there's some options on the board and the Trump administration is not playing around. And that's a warning shot to
Starting point is 00:58:55 everybody else. You want to stay here? We're coming for you. We're going to get you out because we live in a country that needs to play by the rules.
