And Logan, in the interest and the energy of WNBA All-Star Weekend, we had to bring in a five-time WNBA All-Star to join the show today.

Our girl, Angel McCartrey joins the show. What's up? What's up? You looking tan and glowing. You've been all over the world. You know, I had a little vacation, you know, you gotta get away some time. What were all the places you went to in Europe? So I was promoting my film by guns in London.

So I did that. And then congratulations. Thank you. Then once a visa to just relax, you know, I work hard. I still think basketball. So I get away for a little bit. She's an international superstar. Yes. Yes. Logan was Logan was watching the content coming out of a visa.

You said that in our pre show meeting. Yeah, I opened my feet. I said, oh, my jaw dropped. Oh, yeah. That came out of Ibiza. You thought about what we were talking about. What did you set up the photo shoot? Like I have questions. I mean, I've seen these photos from Angel.

Oh, the kids are watching. You know what I'm saying? This is an adult audience. No, no, no. But but listen, you look good, girl. And you did your thing. Well, you know, just 40. We age and like fine wine, right? Rock 40. Rock, you're here.

Not me. I would have thought you're like 28. That's how good you look in those photos. Both of y'all. Logan is 24, so like, are you still 24, Logan? Yeah. Yeah, so like the concept of like 40 is crazy. But no, we're still, we're in our 30s and we're thriving. And that's why our girl was in Ibiza, letting the people know what she's working with.

So period, on period. If I had abs like you, I'd be in creative photo shoots as well. On vacation. Today, let's go through the menu. We're going to be talking about team Clark versus team fee team Collier. The advantages that each team has, which team is going to take home the win and who will be the MVP. Plus we play a game. You know, we like games here. All-star smash up game with Angel.

We have team Clark taking on team B this Saturday. When looking at them, I mean, they're both different, but also so similar in a way they both have their advantages. But y'all coming from your experience, what does

what advantage does each team have here? Let me see. We have team Clark, team Collier. I think they both have a really, really good bench. I'm really excited to see who's going to come off really excited and ready to make going to come off really excited and ready to make some moves. You all see, you all seen my moves in the All-Star game. I've come with the most acrobatic moves. Arise, who don't beat out my moves yet? My 360 layups, me throwing it off.

Oh, OK. I thought you were going to say I did a cartwheel. OK, you've always been very explosive in an All-Star game, but I will say one of the most exciting players in the All-Star game. It's our girl. It's always our Rikki, Rikki Agumbuwala. It's sad she's not here this year, but when she had all of her points in the second half last year and then won the MVP.

And Rikki is exciting. And first of all, we're going to miss her this year. She should be in there this year. OK, because she's one of the most acrobatic players to be in the Oscar game. I don't know why she's not in. So she has a tough year and she was injured. She was in a tough year. The team's having a tough year. I mean, it was going to be hard and put her in.

You know, we will miss. We will miss her. But as far as this year's teams and players that are in there for razzle dazzle, team Clark has the home crowd advantage because they got all the fever girlies. They got a Leo Boston. They got Kelsey Mitchell. Like they are going to get the crowd behind them. So that's an advantage for them.

That's an advantage. They do have the crowd behind them. I do have team Collier though. I think they're going to use that to really just spark. I think they I think they're going to win. I really just spark. I think they're going to win. I'm going to say, sorry, sorry, Caitlin, you know, you're my little sis. I love you. But I'm going with Team Collier because it's just something about from my experience playing, when you're playing against the home crowd, you're just ready to go. It just drives you.

Yeah, yeah, no, you might like feed off of the crowd. And I honestly, in my opinion, I think Team Collier, I think these team is just better. Like it's a way more veteran team. It's a way more all-star experience team. Team Clark is a whole bunch of first timers. Look, Kiki, you got the rookie Citron. You got a first timer, Gabby Williams, Kayla Thornton. These people just got there. You know, like, look.

Yeah, that's part of disadvantage. Does that matter? Does that matter? It does matter. I mean, your first All-Star, you don't know what to expect. You're kind of like in sometimes and what about groupie mode? Like you're in just like, oh, my God. I know my first time I was just like, hey, can I get an autograph? I'm just here.

You know, and I was like, oh, yeah, I got it. Really? Well, I forgot because you get kind of caught up in the hoopla. And you know, all the celebrities are going to be there more than what it was before. All the brands are there more than what it was before. So, you know, that first time could be something. But those vets on team Collier, they know what to expect. They've done it.

They know the atmosphere. They know what to do. They know how to play the game. You know, you kind of coast in the beginning. And then at the end, you kind of go a little harder because it's time to win. OK, so I know one first timer that is not going to be overwhelmed by the moment. And you know who that is?

Yeah. Paige Becker's. Yo, at last year's All-Star game, Paige Becker's was on the sidelines hanging out with the WNBA players. You would have thought she was in the league. Like, like, I feel like she's just so smooth and cool. And like, I actually think Paige might shine in this game because everybody loves Paige. And like, she's going to be surrounded by a ton of stars. She's going to like, I feel like she'll be really comfortable.

People will want to see her do well. And she's going to get her assists up. Like, I think Paige will do well. Paige has been here before. She's she's been there before. She has that energy. Like you say, it's the maturity there. I see her doing well.

I still think she's going to be caught up in the moment too, but she knows how to handle it. But on her team, I'm going to go with Kelsey Mitchell really showing out on team Clark. I just feel like she's that one that's just gonna come bink, bink, bring you the acrobatic moves, hit the game with the shots.

I just see Kelsey Mitchell, that's my one. But Paige, yeah, she gonna do some things. She's gonna do some things for sure. Yeah, yeah. And I think also Kelsey's gonna have the indie crowd behind her. But if I come back to team Fee, and Logan chime in here too, whatever you're seeing from these teams. But if I come back to Team Fee and Logan, chime in here to like whatever you've seen from these teams.

But if I go back to Team Fee, what I'm seeing is that's a team that has rebounders. I mean, you got Angel, you got Nega, you got Fee, you got Stewie in there. You got versatile players. You got post that pass that are cerebral. You got shooters, you got passers, you got Olympians, you got vets. Like they're the most entertaining thing. You're going to be entertained. That's not the only thing they are too.

Um, team, can you show my graphic for. Followings. I asked our producers to do Instagram followings for team Clark and team Collier. Cause when I was looking at fees team, I was like, oh, fees team, they got the moguls, they got presidents. This is the all motion team. They got the most followers. They got look at Courtney in there, Courtney. They got podcasts. They stream. They got businesses. Look at the feed. They got leagues.

They got unrivaled. You got more in there. NECA. You got a president. And if you look, they're they're up three and a half million followers on Team Clark. They could do a podcast. They could do a podcast. That's a great, great analysis. I've never even thought about it in that kind of way. But when you put it like that, like they're the ones that that's the team who I got winning. And if I had to choose, if I'm an all star, I want to be on team Collier to play with NECA and Courtney. Come on. Yeah. Courtney, Courtney would get Natesha and do a stud buds after the show and then show the graphic one more time that I think is interesting on the IG following. So 11 million for team Collier, five million of that is from Angel

Reese. 2.7 is from Paige Beckers. You got a Caitlin Clark's team. Seven and a half million followers total. It's Caitlin Clark carrying them with three and a half million. And then the other two players over one million is Sabrina and Asia. I'm always keeping my eye on motion. You know, I think that's OK. Forget about it.

How does that mix? So, oh, my God. Oh, but Kelsey Plum is on the other team. So the other million milers for team fee is Kelsey Plum, Skylar Diggins. For Collie. Yeah, we knew that. Yeah. So hey, team Collie over here. Sorry, Caitlin. I'm going with team Collie. I feel like the MVP is actually going to come from Courtney Williams on that team. Something about the her trajectory right now, both on the court and socially more so socially is huge. And I feel like she's just going to pop off for the stream.

Why not stud buds? They'll probably be streaming during the game. Be streaming. I think they're streaming live. They're streaming live for throughout. Yeah, I heard for like 72 hours straight. They're going to stream through All-Star. We're actually a great idea to do. We've never heard that before. Genie, I hope they got a sponsor.

Absolutely. I got three films being the most talkative trash talking player on the team, but my MVP, I'm going because you know, I got both Kelsey's right now. I think she'll dazzle, but because I have Team Fee actually winning this thing, I'm gonna go say Angel Reese. And the reason why is in these types of games, like not everybody's going super hard anyway. And like, you know, Angel had a double double last year. I think she's gonna have some crazy numbers. Like she might have like 14 points and 27 rebounds in this thing, you know,

and end up as the MVP on Team Fee. You feel me on that? What you think? She's been on a hit. She's going to be trying to be point guard and shoot threes and bring the ball up. You know, I think I saw it. You know, she's going to be in a paint like that. She's been undeniable lately. She has been undeniable lately.

Yeah, so we used to have the East versus West. The now is the format is what? Two players get to choose their team. Am I correct?

Yeah, it'll be captains like team Fete and Clark. Team Clark. And actually, my question is, how do we even pick the captains? That's based on who gets the most votes. Right. I am old school fan vote fan vote. I believe in the old school East versus West, baby. People love that rival, that East Coast versus West Coast. It's just something about that.

I think the NBA still uses that format. Am I correct? No, no, they're doing team captains too. I don't know. The NBA been changing up every year. Something, the NBA this year did something else. I forgot what it was. It didn't work. Spoiler alert, but it was not memorable, as you can tell, especially with us getting more teams, right? With Cleveland coming, Philly more East Coast, West Coast teams. Let's go back to East versus West because we know the vote is sometimes it's a popularity vote, right?

Might not be necessarily who's the best at the moment or who's killing. It's just sometimes it's a popularity vote. So I like the East versus West. That's just me. I also like the East versus West. I think there was those jerseys were cool. I think it's easy to like pick a side and find pride. I think we got away from that because like, especially on the men's side, the All-Star games just wasn't competitive.

And I think like that's on the players. It's on the league to continue to innovate. But I don't know if I was a player. I don't know if I would love my all star jersey as much as I would love Eastern Conference All-Star Jersey versus Team Clark Jersey or Team Fee Jersey. You understand I'm saying I'm also a star. I don't want to wear your star jersey. You understand what I'm saying?

Exactly. So you get to it now. It's just kind of like that mix of match of players from everywhere all over on who picks you. Hey, am I going to feel some kind of way that Clark picked me and calling and pick me girl? I thought we was cool. You know, some of that sometimes. So the draft could be you could take the draft personal. It wouldn't just be all fun for you because they do draft the players.

I'm sure the girl is going to take it like, you know, I want to be on your team, girl. I'm sure that stuff happens. You know what I mean? I don't know. Wow. I'm from the old format. So I never got to experience the new format. So I would.

Yeah. You know what I mean? But what's the best part of being mixed in with all of those other players and stars from all those different teams? Like who are some of your favorite people to mix in with during of those other players and stars from all those different teams? Like who are some of your favorite people to mix in with during All-Star Week and like and get to know and hang out with? What's that like? Or are there times where you see some stars you're not messing with and you gotta bring me out? You know what I would say I came from such a great era. I mean to play I had Maya Moore throwing me,

you know, the Ilioups. She loved throwing me Ilioups. You know, sometimes I would dunk them sometimes. To get Maya Moore, like, to play with Elena Deladon, Simone, I was like, come on, that era was so much fun. And really, we played hard. We didn't play like it was all star. It was like because like Kobe said it best.

You have people that play harder in a pickup game. So why can't you play a little bit in an all star game? Right. So we play we play like that was like one of the best pickup games you could ever see. I know Logan's going to have to close us out soon, but I just want to jump in with like, how do you approach these games? Because all-star games are interesting. Like, everybody would love to win the MVP.

Do you come out gunning right away or do you kind of like let it come to you first? Um, I would do it, I would let it come first. You know what I'm saying? Cause I'm watching, who's trying to gun right away? Who's trying to go all hard? Who's trying to guard hard? I'm watching the flow first. to gun right away. Who's trying to go all hard. She's shooting wildly efficiently and Caitlin, as we know, she's super talented, but this has not been her most efficient year. So whoever this player is, someone should put them on their team.
