My favorite part of the football season is the confidence everybody has before it kickoff.
Zaslo already knows how the game is going to end.
Tony has studied every possible matchup and Chris Cody is convinced his fantasy team is unbeatable.
Then the game starts, everything immediately goes off the rails,
and suddenly nobody remembers making any of those predictions.
That's why a legendary game day starts with an ice cold Miller light,
whether I'm at a tailgate, watching with friends,
or settling in for a full Saturday of college football.
Miller Light is the beer I can depend on.
It's crisp, refreshing, and has a clean finish that hits perfectly during a hot South Florida game day.

This is the Dan Levitar show with the Stucats podcast.
This episode of the Dan Levitars show is presented by Draft King Sports.
Draft Kings.
The crown is yours.
Let's go.
I have some chief's thoughts that I think are more macro and a lot bigger.
than what it is, the hyperventilation of the moment will be today because we analyze for some reason
some of these things around greatness week to week.
We were just talking about Josh Allen at 30 and Dan Marino in his 30s.
And what you saw from the chiefs last night, macro, okay, that's exactly how a good organization with a good coach
allow their injured quarterback who is aging and not as mobile as he used to be, but still excellent.
That's how you allow a great quarterback to age with grace.
You get him a running game in the offseason, and you just protect him.
And what they did last night, organizationally, never mind what they did to the Broncos, okay,
because Sean Payton will not catch that team.
Like, Sean Payton will not do that with Bo Nix.
Organizationalally, if you're going to be better as an organization, going and getting Kenneth Walker,
they don't do 20-yard runs.
They used to be deep ball all over the place.
They can't even do that anymore.
That's not, they can't get down the field that way.
So they reinvented themselves in the offseason, and they got the Super Bowl MVP,
and everyone tells us the running back is disposable and you don't have to pay them.
And Derek Henry, you can get him for $10 million a year.
And that's how you protect Mahomes right there.
It's not even offensive line.
It's just keep hand.
Start the season.
Just keep giving the ball to Kenneth Walker.
But before we get into the whole of that game, because I do think a number of things
were interesting there, including Sean Payton telling his wife that Jalen Waddle is someone
she should pick up in fantasy.
Two yards was his longest catch last night.
It was his only catch.
I'm telling you it's important the way these things are built,
but when you have the quarterback, you can do everything in that sport.
And they obviously, the chiefs have the quarterback,
and everyone's chasing them again.
But I watched that game like I've never watched a game before
because in the first half, I thought I heard something again and again and I could not tell.
And so instead of watching the second half,
I went back and rewatch the first half so that I could.
do this with you guys. This is what Troy Aikman, the ESPN has the Super Bowl this year,
this is what Troy Aikman said. The Denver roster is as deep as any in football. Reed understands
as much as anyone in football that they've got to run the football. Pat Bryant had as good
at camp as anyone in football. Denver has as deep a wide receiver room as anyone in football.
Denver has as good as secondary as there is in all of football. Trent McDuffie is as good as
anyone in all of football. That was the first quarter. First quarter. Second quarter. Denver is as
good as any defense in football, even though they don't take the ball away. Denver plays as much man
as anyone in football. Kenneth Walker is as patient as anyone in football. Riley Moss gets targeted
as much as anyone in football. I don't believe you. Denver is as good an offensive line as there
isn't football. Vance Joseph is as good at defensive coordinator as there isn't all of football.
Sean Payton is as good a play caller as there isn't all of football. Cortland Sutton is as
as good as anyone in football,
winning one-on-one.
I don't believe you.
I went back and wrote it.
I didn't believe it.
Like, I'm like,
that can't be how I'm hearing this.
I'm listening passively.
I went back,
I didn't see the second half.
I went back and watched the first half
and just took all of those notes.
I'm not, I did not watch the second half of that football game
because I'm like, am I hearing this right?
Like, how, is this what's happening here
where it's just everyone in this game
and the next game and everyone Aikman does
is as good as anyone in football?
Are you comfortable saying you're the only one
who experienced that game like this last night?
Yes.
I'm not making that up.
And the reason that I did it is because, like, did I hear that right?
It just seemed like, because I never noticed it before.
It just seemed like that was the go-to on everything.
And I'm not saying those two teams aren't very good,
but one of them didn't make the playoffs last year.
I watched the game on mute last night because I was watching my stories.
You see that Roman, see how Roman rains last night?
Holy shit, Dan, he's so good.
What's crazy, though, as a Cowboys fan, a reluctant Cowboys fan, is that he does not do that when he calls Cowboys games.
He mercilessly flates pretty much the entire roster.
It was like, here.
I mean, Dan, look at my tribal chief here.
Look at him.
Come on.
Look at him.
Just soaking it in.
He beat Pent on Mexico City.
Match of the year candidate last night.
Oh, he's unbeatable.
What are you laughing about, Cody?
Just zaz's infatuation with pro wrestling is always.
amusing to me? The game
last night, Denver
loses, and I don't
know whether I'm being fair about
doing this to Bo Nix, but
I just don't want him at the
end. Like, if you're going to give me any
of the great quarterbacks in this sport,
and I've got that one that needs the defense
to be great in order for him to be great,
I'd rather have the quarterbacks that can win
like Caleb Williams just did,
whether his defense is great or
or not. I
understand that Sean Payton can mix and match,
Do you guys see that story that came out that they were thinking about going with Drew Breeze in the AFC championship game last year instead of, what was it, Jared Stidham?
Is that that, so they called a 47-year-old Drew Breeze because Sean Payne, that would have been.
Wouldn't we all have wanted that?
I mean, we were all into Philip Rivers returning for regular, meaningless regular season games.
Can you imagine if Drew Breeze is going to play the AFC championship game?
How is that even allowed, by the way?
He hasn't been on the team the whole year.
Just have a new quarterback for the title game?
My eyes agree with you on this, Dan.
I feel the same way about Bo Nix,
but he also has the most fourth quarter comebacks of any quarterback in the history of football.
He's as good as anyone in football in their first two seasons.
I'm not actually talking about the end of games.
I'm talking about the end of seasons.
I'm talking about what I need my quarterback to be at the very end of things,
where, yeah, Donald can win the championship if his defense is that good,
but I prefer to have the quarterback that I know.
Look, Josh Allen may never win a Super Bowl, okay?
But I prefer to have him just simply because even if your defense is good,
he does what he did to Houston on Sunday.
And so I'd just rather have the quarterback.
And I don't even actually mean it as a knock on Bo Nix.
I don't.
It's just in the game that I'm watching last night,
if both defenses are about equal, I mean, they load it.
That was a substantive trade that they made for Waddle.
Like they're, they are building around Bo Nix as if they think that him and that offense can take them over the top.
And it presumes, A, that defense is recreatable from year to year.
And B, Denver doesn't cause turnovers.
They're a good defense.
But last year, for whatever the reason was, they don't get the football.
And I'd prefer a defense like Houston.
I'd prefer a defense that goes and creates chaos plays that makes the other quarterback lose the football.
Bronco fans are annoyed right now with Jalen Waddle, right?
Even if it's one game, but they scored 10 points last night against a team that, you know,
it's not really known for being great defensively.
And Waddle does nothing.
Like, they're definitely mad last night, right?
The building of those organizations is interesting to me because the chiefs are the standard, okay?
And what Sean Payton just did in the off season, they were saying during the broadcast last night
that the Broncos' offensive line is the best in football.
They went and got him a bunch of receivers.
Like when they, it's not just Jalen Waddle.
It's as deep a wide receiver room as there is in football, according to Troy Aitman.
The way the Broncos are built, they're at their ceiling.
You know what the chief ceiling is.
I kind of think that this is like a bullshit argument, not to say it's because I'm an Oregon alum
and I'm trying to find ways to carry water for Bo Nix.
But do we just forget that that Buffalo game existed and that he broke his ankle?
It was like, well, we had 27, 23 with 4.5.
minutes and 11 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Bo Nix deep left to Marvin Mims for 26 yards
and they go to overtime. And he wasn't able to play the next game because his ankle was broken.
So like I think almost beating the bills in a postseason game. It's pretty good.
Well, the bills are made to lose in the postseason. So is Josh Allen. I mean, that's the argument
against Josh Allen and the bills is that they're pretty great in the regular season.
and then what have you done for me lately in January.
I think the story of the game we're talking about is Kansas City proving everybody wrong.
A year ago, everybody except Nick Wright, was going, the windows closed.
Mahomes is done.
He's not going to come back.
And now, in Walker, they've given him a way to age gracefully.
And that Kansas City defense is pretty damn good.
And with a running game, Mahomes is going to be Mahomes again.
Okay, wait a minute, though. He's never had a running game.
They haven't had a thousand-yard rush in the Mahomes era.
Like, not one. It's the longest streak in the sport.
Not necessarily because they didn't have a guy who was good enough.
It's because that has not been their MO.
Understood, but what they just showed you last night is, no, we'll beat you this other way.
Like, that's what I find interesting.
People are going to be talking about Patrick's back or the Chiefs are back.
They're back in a different form.
This is a different football team.
And what I'm telling you about the quarterback that the Chiefs have after having the
discussion about Josh Allen and Dan Marino and do you trade someone like that in your early 30s,
Patrick Mahomes is playing with a knee brace. I'm actually surprised he was able to play in that
game that only took him nine months in order to get back. That first quarter, he was throwing the
ball all over the place. He was like three for 13 and they're saying Pat's back just because
he runs into the end zone. But they won that game because they got the Super Bowl MVP in their
backfield. And they don't have big play offense running ever. They don't have that. They don't have
They threw the ball down the field.
That's more 20-yard runs than you will see from that team all of last season.
This is what they're going to be all of this year.
Like Kenneth Walker is a good runner.
They're going to protect their quarterback who clearly came back really quick from that injury.
It'll get really interesting next year.
Like, are they going to stick with being this team?
Or when Mahomes is a year removed from the surgery,
do they go back to putting the ball in his hands for most of the game?
I think they'll put the ball in his hands this year.
I don't think they're going to wait.
If the Kenneth Walker we saw is the ground game they have all season, if he's a guy, you know, among the league leaders in rushing,
defenses are going to start to stack the box and go, we don't have to worry about Mahomes that much anymore.
And that's when Mahomes is going to have the 38 attempt big game like you associate.
I'm not actually that interested in how Mahomes looked or didn't look.
To me, organizationally, when you go and pay that much for the Broncos and then pay that much for Sean Payton,
It's because you think that he and his management is going to give you an advantage.
And against this guy, it's not.
Against this organization, it's not.
You passed them last year because, yes, Bo Nix broke his ankle, but they lost their quarterback.
And so they fixed it.
What they've done is fix it, but they didn't fix it the way you thought they were going to fix it.
Tyreek Hill isn't going back to the chief so that they can beat you with plays down the field.
What they've now learned, this is the part of Mahomes' career to me.
that will be fascinating to find out if he is indeed, like the all-time greatest.
It's the next 10 years, not the first 10.
It's whatever happens next with how it is that they manage the fact that we all know he's
great, but he's not going to be able to play that style.
Just look at what he has learned over the last few years, okay?
That team is so dangerous because on third and nine, it doesn't matter when he drops back.
He will either convert the third and nine or he'll run for nine and a half yards.
that dissipates as you age.
It already has injured his body.
They used to beat your way down the field.
Now he's learned I can dink and dunk you too.
I'll do 12 play drives.
I can do that kind of patient.
And also, in my big ego-filled return to football,
everyone's waiting.
I'm the biggest star in the sport, right?
I'm going to hand off to start the game four straight times.
And I'm going to just keep giving the ball to Kenneth Walker on the first drive.
And we're going to right down the field on what you told me was the best defense in football,
Troy Aikman.
It's a little bit weird when you think about it, right?
Like last night I'm watching the game and my son, my 14-year-old walks in the room and,
you know, Kenneth Walker with the hand.
My mother goes, Kenneth Walker's now on the Chiefs.
Like, that's a Super Bowl MVP.
They just let the Super Bowl MVP walk.
And you remember you had that weird moment, right, at the Seahawks Championship parade
where the owner was like, hey, Kenneth started negotiating a contract me.
We don't let him go anywhere, you know.
And it's a Super Bowl MVP.
Oh, but this is what I believe, though, that the greatest organizations do.
And this is how evolution happens in sports and in fiscal places where people are invented.
Oh, you're going to undervalue something?
Okay.
Give me the market inefficiency of you don't think a running back should be paid very much.
I'm going to show you in my organization that I can do something with that.
It's not a coincidence that the Ravens got Derek Henry.
The Ravens have been a great organization for 25.
years.
Titan should have kept him.
You can make the argument that Derek Henry at $10 million last year was the entire
market telling you that's all he's worth.
And that's exactly what the best hedge fund managers and the best leaders exploit when
the rest of the sport is undervaluing something.
They figure out how to make that something that's resourceful, economical, and allows
Patrick Mahomes to age.
The chiefs also have a great opportunity here to get off to a hot start.
Like since they won that game last night, their next game is Sunday night hosting Indianapolis,
and then they're at the Dolphins.
Like, they're going to be 3-0 heading into another divisional game in week four.
Well, I think what's also really interesting is some of the other smaller moves that the
chiefs have made.
You get Emmett Johnson as a rookie in the fifth round, and he looked awesome.
He was a doke award semifinalists.
And I think the thing that was stunning to me was undrafted rookie Khalil Benson,
as the left tackle and it just works, their talent evaluation is incredible.
And what impresses me most is that they didn't get an aging Kenneth Walker hoping to
eat one or two more years out of them. They got a 25-year-old running back. Even for that
position, that's young. That's coming into his prime. Kenneth Walker is going to be a supreme
running back really for the rest of Patrick Gahombs' prime. You know, they are well set. I don't
think they have great receivers. They need to remedy that, but they're well set at quarterback
and running back for the foreseeable future. Has there ever been a Super Bowl MVP that immediately
left his team? Yeah, James Washington did when he went from Dallas to Tampa after winning
the Super Bowl MVP. I don't know if that's the last one or not. My favorite part of the football
season is the confidence everybody has before a kickoff. Zazlo already knows how the game is going to
And Tony has studied every possible matchup, and Chris Cody is convinced his fantasy team is unbeatable.

Dan Levatar
16.
Great Cody.
Take the rest of the day off.
This is the Dan Levitation.
This player, his nickname is K-9, which is great because his uniform is nine and his name is Kenneth.
And the Super Bowl MVP, when you guys talk about what is happening in this sport when it comes to the running back,
Derek Henry, what he did Sunday, I know that we're a bit numb to it, but Derek Henry being still this kind of,
of great after having an enormous workload in the SEC at Alabama, you would think that the body
would wear down. I was saying to you guys yesterday, hey, that Eagle's offensive line, they can't
keep playing like that every year where they're mauling everyone, mauling everyone, and their bodies
don't deteriorate. How does Derek Henry, like in terms of physical specimens in that sport, is there
one whose success is more inexplicable in terms of longevity than that one? Like, how is that body
not breaking down.
I just, the answer to that question is, for me is, I don't know, but I, I think we really need
to have a conversation about Derek Henry being the best running back of all time.
This is his 11th year.
He, and you know the way, the reason they don't want to pay running backs anymore is because
like, hey, four, five, maybe six years, chew him up, spit him out.
This guy, every year is getting over 300 carries.
He's in his 11th year.
He doesn't look close to slowing down.
down. He's never injured.
If you tell, you tell me he's going to continue performing like this.
He's in year 11. He's going to continue performing like this for another few years.
We, we shouldn't rightfully be having a conversation that this guy is the best ever.
Prisoner of the moment.
So the three, that's a good segment. See if you get imaging for that where it's just a bunch of
people shouting prisoner of the moment. The three candidates are Barry Sanders, Emmett Smith,
and Jim Brown, correct? That's who you're, you're putting it in the panthe.
You're putting him on the Mount Rushmore.
correct? You're already saying Derek Henry, put it on the poll at Lebitard show.
Does Derek Henry belong right now on the Mount Rushmore of Best Running Backs ever?
Greg, you are not a prisoner of the moment.
Am I missing anybody when I say it's Emmett Smith, it's Barry Sanders, and it's Jim Brown?
I don't know if I'd start with Emmett.
For me, it's Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, maybe Adrian Peterson, maybe Ladanian Tomlinson.
I think Derek Henry is knocking on the mountain.
He's knocking. I'm with my dad.
He's knocking on the mountain. He's knocking on the mountain. He's knocking on the mountain. Why is he knocking on the mountain? Because the door wasn't there. So he picked the mountain.
knocking on the mountain?
Just stick with it.
I kind of see what they were getting at, you know?
Yeah.
Do you?
Because I don't.
I don't know what he's doing there.
No, no, like the McClatchy people.
Oh, okay.
The fastball is starting to lose.
What does that mean?
See, here's the thing.
If you say knocking on the door, you're accused of spouting a cliche.
I'm not big on cliches.
So knocking on the mountain, what happened is...
But you're not doing anything if you're knocking on the mountain.
No, what happened is I just...
I just invented a future cliche.
People are from generations from now, people are saying he's knocking on the mountain, man.
Greg, you knock on the door somebody opens the door.
You knock on the door, you knock on the door, you're just a fool who's knocking on a mountain.
No, because it's Mount Rushmore.
You know what they say.
The four stone faces are looking down going, who's knocking?
Knock, knock, knock, knocking on the mountain door.
Doors have mountains.
Mountains have doors.
Oh, boy.
Don't, Greg.
Yeah, they do.
Doors have mountains.
Mountains have doors.
Okay, yeah? Listen to me.
Mount Rushmore has a door.
It's the railings of a loon.
Mount Rushmore has a door.
So you're knocking on the mountain of Mount Rushmore?
Yes.
That's what he was saying.
That's what he was saying.
In Winnie the Pooh, there's a door in a tree.
There you go.
Very helpful. Thank you.
Okay, people...
I wish McClatchie had laid you off.
Okay, Mount Rushmore is clean.
The faces on Mount Rushmore are cleaned once every couple of years, I believe.
When the team goes up there to steam clean,
the big nose of what's his name.
There's a door there.
That's really disrespectful.
Oh, boy.
The giant, giant features on Mount Rushmore, ears, noses.
Oh, that's good.
So he's knocking.
Anyway, at any rate, getting back to that,
Derek Henry's knocking on the mountain.
For me, he's not there yet.
So forgive me, I should have put Walter Payton where I put Emmett Smith,
but now we've got a problem.
We're doing a show.
Now who's knocking on the mountain?
We're doing a show about best running backs ever.
Yes.
That's the problem.
Well, we're really doing a show about doors and mountains.
And by the way, the Jim Brown estate would like a word.
I mentioned him already.
Oh, boy.
Derek Henry, almost 2,700 carries in his career in the NFL, 600 carries at Alabama.
Can you put them next to each other in terms of yards per carry, please, touchdowns?
Give me some stats to support your argument, Zez, instead of just doing the prisoner of the moment of shouting the guy I'm watching now is the best guy ever.
Derek Henry is 4.9.
Barry Sanders was five.
Emmett Smith 4.2.
Give me a moment to year.
You know, Emma was a little bit of a compiler at the end of his career.
Give me a moment for the other guys.
That's fine.
Just make the argument a little bit more, have more arithmetic in it
because I don't know where the touchdown numbers are.
This is also an aesthetic thing, right?
Because a couple of the other guys that I mentioned don't run like Derek Henry does.
Derek Henry, and this is something that I celebrate in the storytelling,
The reason Jim Brown got to be the best ever is because Jim Brown was the most menacing man on a field filled with violence.
Barry Sanders and Walter Pate were very good at avoiding it.
They weren't running over a whole lot of people.
What Derek Henry is doing is more physically violent than other people.
Yeah, he's more in the style of Larry Zonka, Franco Harris, guys like that.
But by the way, this is just in.
No, no, no, no, Greg, but that's the part that's not right, though.
He runs away from secondaries.
Like, he's not getting caught from behind by anybody.
He's got a 99-yard run.
He's got screen passes that are 80 yards.
That is not Larry Zonka.
That is not a guy who's just big and bruising.
That's not even Earl Campbell.
That's Earl Campbell, and he's faster than anyone on the field.
That's the part that doesn't make sense 11 years in.
I don't know.
I disagree with you on Derek Kennedy's running style.
What was that?
Take a sip.
It's your inner monologue is what it is.
I didn't know my inner monologue was here today.
Okay, I'll tell you guys what happened.
He got the joy of the first hour.
He's got nothing left.
We talked about him, him, his laying off, and he's out of material.
I got everything left.
I just invented knocking on a mountain.
And by the way, Mount Rushmore is now referred to as Mount Rush Door from this point forward.
Why wasn't it just knocking on the mount?
Pause.
Knocking on the mountain has a ring to it, I think.
Can you get closer to the microphone?
Yes, please.
You're just very self-satisfied with everything that's happened around here so far.
I'm trying to enjoy myself.
Derek Henry, 45440 at that size and that power, that's insane.
Yeah.
Look at him next to Mark Ingram.
I think that we can, when I'm talking some about how we're in the age of mastery,
I do believe these two things that I'm about to say are not prisoner of the moment.
I think you can make the argument that Russell Westbrook, in terms of athleticism,
is the most athletic person in the history of basketball.
I think you can form the argument just in terms of athleticism.
And I think that we can make the argument that Derek Henry, there has never been a physical specimen like that at the running back position.
I might not make him the best running back of all time, but I will say there has never been that in a backfield.
Adrian Peterson was big. He wasn't this.
That handshake, though.
I need to shake Derek Henry's hand before I can really assess this.
So we've gotten to the point, though, Greg, where the running back everyone tells us is disposable.
But the Super Bowl MVP was a running back.
And last night, a running back has been gotten by a great organization to protect this part of Patrick Mahomes' career.
How could that have gone much better in terms of soft landing for Patrick and that you weren't asking him to do very much last night?
I know.
And he wasn't that good, Patrick Mahomes.
He was 15 for 27.
That's inaccurate by his standards.
He had some rust on him.
You know, he had the kind of off game by his standards that if they didn't have that running game,
I'm not saying they would have lost because they won handily,
and Kansas City's defense is forever underrated.
But now he didn't have to do everything for the first time in his career.
Did you watch the game fully?
Did you go to bed early?
I watched.
He was watching Roman Raines.
Come on, son.
I was not watching Roman Raines or whatever his name is,
but I live in a house with a woman who loves, who loves,
award shows. You're a box score watcher. You're watching the Emmys. No, here's what
happened. I was forced to watch a lot of the Emmys. You know about that Mariska Hargatay?
Whatever you said, I agree with you. And then four or five times during the Emmys, I'm like,
let's go back to the football game just to see, you know, just to see. If only you had nine TVs
in your house. Well, we only had one of them on. So to your point, did I watch every minute of
the game? I did not. Because the part that threw me was when you were like, they won the game
handily. And there was a moment there when Denver turned the ball or turned Kansas City over.
That interception late in the game. Which I had to stay up for because I thought we needed to be
prepared by watching the game, which clearly you didn't want to do. Yeah, I really didn't. No, but I love
that the Emmys had an honorary. Why are the Emmys on on a Monday? I know. Because it's on NBC and they
had Sunday Night Football on before. Yeah, but Dolly Parton got our props on the Emmys, which was nice.
even though nobody associates Dolly Parton with TV, do they?
What's up with that?
Emmys or TV?
It was misplaced honorarium.
Anyway, I did not watch all the games.
Whoa, that is the first negative Dolly Parton opinion I've heard.
He's bringing back the Scott Mitchell column.
I'm blaming, I refer to it as the Dame Reno column.
I'm blaming the channel.
I'm blaming the Emmys, a TV award show for honoring someone not associated with TV.
That's all.
She deserves everything. I love Dolly Parton. Always have.
Tony, you know that moment at a party or a tailgate where everything just sort of clicks.
I know it well. It's usually when I show up. Everybody goes crazy.
Yeah, you usually take all the credit for it.
But it's because Tony usually walks in with Quervo.
I'm walking like this.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Quervo is a thing that turns hanging out into this is the night.
It has that effect on people.
It does. You usually take the credit for it.
But again, it's the Quervo effect.
It's like that moment in a big game where everyone,
and the crowd just starts standing up, hooting and hollering.
Keep it quervo.
Keep it quervo, baby.
Down lebatar.
Can't wait for 39.
Yeah, I can't either.
40 comes first.
Do you know what 40 is yet?
Not yet.
What are we doing?
Greg, did you just laugh?
Did you just laugh out loud at something Lewis said in your ear?
Greg, Cody.
Yes.
I couldn't help, but it was funny.
Thanks, Lewis.
Gagging the goose.
Of course.
Choking the frog.
I mean, there's a million of them.
Of course.
Half of them would sound dirty if we keep doing it.
This is the Dan Levitate show.
I got some numbers here for you, Dan, for best running backs ever.
You ready for this?
All right, here we go.
Walter Payton played 13 years.
10 of those, he had over 1,000 yards.
4.4 yards to carry, 110 total touchdowns.
Okay.
Emmett Smith, 15 years, 11 with 1,000 yards, 4.2 yards per carry.
All-time leader, 164.
this down, Dan? Jim Brown, nine years, only nine years, Jim Brown, seven of those, thousand-yard
seasons, 5.2 yards per carry, 106 touchdowns. Barry Sanders, 10 years, all 10, 1,000 yards
yards to carry 99 touchdowns, and finally, Derek Henry, he's in his 11th year, he's
had 7,000-yard seasons, 4.9 yards to carry, 122 touchdowns, third most all-time. If he plays
another four seasons, he will definitely surpass Emmett Smith. That's a lot.
Maybe three seasons. Maybe three.
Oh, but now he makes, if you were just listening, I know Chris wasn't, because he tunes out as soon as a first number is uttered.
He does not like to do arithmetic.
Who won there? I wasn't listening.
Well, who won is Derek Henry in four years if he stays healthy?
Like, if he'll have numbers that he clips.
Who won?
Are you ready for the catchphrases?
Always.
It was a layup.
Let's do the catchphrases now.
Let's go.
Where are we?
Is there?
Who won? Yeah, you mentioned that.
Okay.
You can never mention that.
enough.
The catch
The catch phrases are
down to number two,
but after we reveal number two,
we have a major announcement to make.
Oh, no.
Ooh.
Are you ready? Well, okay, I
think I am. Can I ask just a really quick question
about the who won?
Say it like that. Yeah, no,
that's what I'm asking about, is
why do you say it kind of
like with a tremble? Like an old
woman? Haunting. Yes.
Haunting. Yeah, haunting.
Like that, if you put that,
in an audio haunted house, please create that for it.
Who won?
Yes, the Who won being spoken in a group.
We're going to create our own haunted house for this Halloween and that will be included in.
This is haunting.
She's right when she says that if I'm walking through a house that is creepy at midnight
and I don't know whether I'm alone and I don't know if the spirit world is involved
in what it is that I'm experiencing.
And I hear this from behind a wall.
Who won?
Terrifying.
Trista, to answer your question, it's his mom, my grandma.
We would always play golf, me, my dad and my uncle.
I am like 20 strokes better than both of them.
So it's very obvious every time who won,
but we would come back from golf
and my sweet little 90-something-year-old grandma
would just be like, who won?
And it was always me.
I would love that explanation for all 70 of these.
I think we need to have like a bit of an oral history on all of them
so people have some record keeping.
My mom's been asking me to go by the house
and just look through some things so that I know
what everything in the family means,
I think you should have somewhere
an oral history as an heirloom
all 70 explanations
for what these things meant,
because when he's gone, no one's going to care.
Well, here's the thing. Yeah, people will care.
The catchphrase countdown will live on.
I know, but it needs to live on.
On the Mount Rush Door of podcast bits.
Number 70.
Number 70, I'm fuller than Vern Fuller.
69.
Where's my click, click?
68 hey butter finger up 67 punt 66 scrant
65 I'm busy your one-arm paper hanger 64 Georgia Georgia

53, dummy up, save up.
52, catches, catch can.
51, doesn't make it right.
50, so on and so forth.
49.
Very good.
48, the Little League theory.
47, nice hat ass.
46.
The others, they all...
What's the hat?
What's the hat?
Zazlo was wearing a hat, and he called him an ass.
That's true.
That is the etymology there.
Wow.
Very inside baseball.
That's a good point.
What kind of hat was it?
A backward cap.
So, like, just the Zaz cap?
Yes, it was just the first time you saw the Zaz cap?
Wow.
I botched this.
He botched it. It was Pete Blackburn.
It was the guy the McGovern.
This is why you have to do an oral history.
Oh, yeah, you're right.
Because no one's going to remember when he's gone.
I'll never forget.
It was Blackburn.
Blackburn singing in the dead of night.
That's right, old classic.
Okay.
Keep going.
All right.
Nice hat ass.
46.
The others, they all learn from me.
45.
Don't go showering to try to please me.
44.
Look at that.
He's wrong.
He's not right.
he's wrong
He's white hat
It was it was Greg
watching Zaz
Give a take about the
Marino column
And then he's like
Nice hat asshole
He was yelling at the Blackburn
You're so wrong
No no no
No no
Put it forth worse
White hat
White hat
White hat
White hat
That was Pete Blackburn
White hat
He just yelled
White hat
So I was right
Jeremy was wrong
You were right
Jeremy was wrong
Thanks Tony
Unbelievable
Where did he come from
I don't know
Privacy
He had your back
Okay, where'd I leave off?
Don't go showering.
44, look at that jerk.
43, it's like a packing house in here.
There should be hams hanging from hooks.
42, would you learn?
41.
He-hop three, badam.
40.
I'm not going to take a quiz.
39, sassafrasse.
38, will we break a window?
37.
Hello?
36.
One.
35.
Trailers for sale, oh, rent.
34, you get you to peck of dirt before you die.
What?
33.
Three words.
Wait.
Yeah.
What was that?
You got to eat a peck of dirt before you die.
A peck?
A peck. Nanda Dugi always said that.
It's basically a peck is way bigger than you'd actually think.
It's like a big sack.
So it's basically saying don't be a germaphobe because you have to eat a whole peck of dirt before you die.
You know about that, Nanadugie?
No, but you don't have to eat any dirt before you die.
I think the saying is just don't be a hypochondriac because there's going to be so much crap in your system.
You got to eat a peck of dirt anyways.
Yeah.
You drop a piece of food on the floor.
you pick it up, you notice it's got a couple of, you know, the floor stuff on it.
Eat it anyway.
I can't believe that you're someone who picks up a piece of food off the floor, but not the dog's.
Five second rule.
But he puts it in his mouth.
The five second rule.
The five second rule is real.
It's not just something that somebody made up.
Anyway, where was I?
You got to eat a peck of dirt before you die.
You do.
You got to eat a peck of dirt before you die.
I lost my spot now.
really threw a wrench in the whole thing, didn't she?
You're like a dog with the bone. You've gotten real.
She's brain beating you. You'd gotten really good
at just going through it
and she's got questions. Some of these
questions are valid. Like, I don't know.
I'm guessing we should do a game
show. I'm going to quiz you guys
on this and I'm guessing you don't know the
etymology of half of these.
Well, here's the thing. On the Greg Cody show
podcast, when we reveal these...
With Greg Cody? Yeah, when we reveal these
for the first time every week, and
etymology is attached. Like,
I will explain the origin of that, and I will give credit when it's due.
If I'm picking that up from somebody else, like, obviously, you know, I didn't invent the phrase trailers for sale of rent.
That's a popular song back in the 60s.
But I purloined it and put my spin on it, and now it's mine.
Perloin?
I perloined it.
Stole it.
Yeah.
Where was I?
Here we go.
You got to eat a pack of dirt before you do.
Yeah, that's 34.
33.
Three words, we are the Lobos.
32, you're going to go to Buffalo.
You're going to go to Buffalo with Bernie.
That's four words.
She got me on that one.
You can't put anything over her.
Okay.
31, Rappy Kack.
30.
Ass.
Okay.
You're not joking.
Oh, boy.
All right.
31, Rappy Kack.
30, another crisis salt.
29.
Nice chatting with him.
28.
He ain't heavy.
He's my blank.
27. Hey, that's what I'm talking about. 26. Who led a pet?
25. Good on you.
24. Dancing swords. 23. QK. Quick crap.
22.
Bay.
21. Blanking it. 20. That's a fact. Jack. 19. Got to want to learn. Got to want to earn.
18. Put a lobo's mint under your pillow and dream.
17. Quite of it. 16. Take the rest of the day off.
15. Do what now? 14. 14. Ride.
John. 13. Who shot John?
12. If I had a hammer,
11. Rap, rap, rap.
They call him the rapper. That's with a
W.R. Not an RAP.
10. Do it to your satisfied.
9. Me maximum.
8. The burp sweet.
Brad, ass wipe, sack,
and yike.
7.
What? What? What?
What's that one?
The last one?
Yeah, that.
Yeah, it's the word what.
It's the word what.
elongated and repeated.
It's just like an exaggeration.
When someone says something shocking, it's what?
What?
What?
So a chicken.
Yeah, it's got a little chicken quality.
A chicken that says what, but he's shocked.
Right, from a distance.
Okay.
Six, Zagaki.
Five, baby.
Four.
Who needs me?
Three.
And you know it.
And now, number two.
You never know.
Wow. Oh, my God.
Oh, that's not number one.
You know how strong your list is when your top five doesn't have Zagaki in it?
You know how strong your list is?
What is the major news that we have to accompany your catchphrase?
Okay, the major news is that the catchphrase countdown has expanded.
We'll expand from 70 to 75.
What?
And here's what's going to happen.
Wait, in previous times, we've just put.
pushed everything back. So that can't be because you never know can't be number six.
Let me explain. What's going to happen beginning next week, we're not going to announce what's number one.
We're going to announce what's number 71 through 75.
You can't do it.
Here's what we're doing.
No, this is by popular demand.
We're going to pause before announcing number one.
Who's the mavened this?
Nobody demanded.
No, no. It's been demanded.
No.
It's been demanded.
By whom?
That's not a, that's not a real discussion.
No, it's a real discussion.
and the board of directors for my podcast narrowly approved this at the last meeting.
So what we're going to do is we're going to announce 71 through 75, which are the five that didn't make the top 70.
And there's some bangers in there, by the way.
You're going to be surprised like, how's that not in the top 20?
So next week, all at once, we're going to announce 71 through 75.
Nope.
And then the following week, we're going to announce number one.
Wow.
That kind of thing.
Nice chatting with you.
One.
