Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to Giraffe King's Network. This is the Dunluba Tarshall with this Tougat's podcast. We've got a mean-out-hast in here now. Not late. He does out-ball, right? Was Charlotte Wilder? Yes, I do. So, this is kinda, yes.
Starting point is 00:00:28 The Gackie. Like you're sure, by the way, today. Yesterday, Juju wore a shirt, a custom-made shirt, with these Charlotte Hornets logo, old school logo, with Charlotte Wilder on it. And today, he's wearing a t-shirt that just says, Zagaki. Zagaki.
Starting point is 00:00:41 You went the full Zagaki. You didn't go with the Zagaki, which is now like it's been shortened. He doesn't go, you don't go Zagaki anymore. He just goes Zagak. Straight Mark, T.O. Yeah, that's a deep cut T-shirt when you just goes the gag. But when speaking of late here, because Chris Cody, one of my favorite things about him in general,
Starting point is 00:01:00 but four straight days, or three, three out of four days of Chris Cody, you get a lot of these, hey, I got a topic idea. And it's something really small minor, but you never know where it's going to go. So I'd like to know what Chris Cody thinks that running late text etiquette actually is. Well, this is something me and my dad have had issues with because me and my dad will grab an occasional lunch. And my dad is the type, if you say you're meeting for lunch at 12.30. He's texting you at 12.31
Starting point is 00:01:26 and and it's just annoying and I tell him we can just focus on lunches if you want because there's obviously different scenarios meeting up for a party Like there's different situations here, but for a lunch for me you have five minutes If you want to text me at 12.05 or 12.35 then that's's fine. Like I'm saying, if we start, I didn't know. Did I say 12 or 12.30 originally? I was talking. 12.30, 12.35. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:50 If you can text me at 12.35, then I'm cool. So you and Greg go way back, huh? Wait. I love you knowing each other. I would say so the part of it. So what happens at 12.35? Like, are you just ordering away and you're having lunch by yourself? No, like it's usually a place. I sit a sit down place. So he's there waiting for me. And that's what like,
Starting point is 00:02:08 I'm driving and I'll be there at 12.33, but at 12.31, I get a text from him, hey, I'm here where you at. And it's like, oh, dude, okay. So me and Lucy had the same, I thought he was late. That's right. And he was texting you at 12.31, like, you know, I'm late. That's how I was. And for me, okay, so I'm sorry, then that's that's. So he's there waiting for me. Okay, so I'm sorry then. That's that's so he's there waiting for me He texted me one minute after 12. For me you have a five minutes window. Yeah, don't text me if you text me at 35 I'm good with it because I'm running late at that point But I will send a text if I'm going to be more than five minutes first of all, I'm a little surprised that you're running late for lunch second of all wow
Starting point is 00:02:42 I'm a little surprised that you're running late for lunch Second of all wow Damn soon It's partially why I thought that Greg Cody was was the one running late and Chris is at the table being like come on dad I'm hungry over here. So just to take you guys inside the mind of Izzy Gutierrez. No, he's mean to There's yes, he's been really what happened. said, you're not fat and we love you. This is what happened. Your observations were rose. I am fat. In Isis head, two men walked in with chains on. And those chains had keys. And they both put the keys into
Starting point is 00:03:15 thing, turned the lock, boom. These panels open, comes out with this little thing, broke it, got a code in it. They entered the code. And the other code is entered in and then another flap opens up. As a red button and I'm not acting so I can't be asked on. Larger terminology. Panel opens red button, hit it and on the screen you saw the mushroom cloud where Chris Cody once was. Ladies, gentlemen, that was a nuclear strike this is why I don't believe your dream recounts why because you just do these random like movie scenes off the top of your head I feel like you just wake up out of it you wake up at night and be like and just start thinking of an idea and be
Starting point is 00:03:56 like hey that was a dream because you just did it these aren't no that's first of all this what I just what I just described well because I was interrupted by some charlatans in the back But what I just described is the actual like nuclear launch code sequence like that There's people that put keys or at least it wasn't the 80s when I watch war games, right? We're talking about what does it have to do with me like that going to lunch? He just That's what happened. That's how he moved your ass. And you know what you did?
Starting point is 00:04:26 You just sat there and took it. You ever heard of mutually assured self-destruction? It's people don't do nuclear strikes because they know if they do, the other side will do a nuclear strike. That keeps the world turning. Exactly. But you know what, you know who doesn't
Starting point is 00:04:39 have mutually assured self-destruction people don't have nukes. You shut the hell up. I mean, what the hell are you talking about? We're talking about texts for being late. We're talking about curing. I'm not talking about curing. You're not always defending me.
Starting point is 00:04:51 Yeah, I was trying, but you're out here like, what are you doing? You know what? You deserve to be a hole in the ground. This has been a very confusing fact. You're radioactive. All of you. I don't know who side you're on.
Starting point is 00:05:00 I don't know what we're even talking about. And I certainly don't know what kind of nuclear codes were entered into some closet and something appeared in Chris Cody like essence of Chris Cody was in this Why is this so hard for you to understand because you're explaining it horribly? I'm not if you're paying attention. No, there was two people turning the keys. Thank you Like and then what at lunch and where was great Cody? He's saying that you're barbed we open the restaurant together on purpose open the restaurant No, he said that your barb was akin to a nuclear strike. I mean, I'm talking about your brain
Starting point is 00:05:35 Formulating a really really really cutting joke at the expense of this man. I didn't even notice he was fat So what we were trying to say was. That's it. You're trying to say it was a good roast. Instead, you give me all this. I mean, PPR and non PPR. I've already got a warning that you like to blow up segments for absolutely no reason. I feel like this is the only thing you're the one that took the opportunity to install poor Chris. I honestly don't understand. I don't. But I'm just saying you've been mean this week. I just don't understand. His nickname is Fats and Info. I came up with that. The Miss Piggy thing was still relevant though.
Starting point is 00:06:09 Just a countermeasure. Wow. Wow. I mean, she's ready for the wedding. When did that stop happening? This is set enough in these ways. It is for the spectacular. That actually worked.
Starting point is 00:06:21 I said I'm with my trainer. What? You know what? It was a the spectacular, that is actually work. I said him up with my trainer. You know what? Some of us were trying to stand here and defend, but you know what? The whole room over there was like,
Starting point is 00:06:34 I mean, what are you doing? Guess what? You're getting nuked. I want you to listen back to that segment. Yeah. You absolutely used to get your cell. I followed this segment. I followed.
Starting point is 00:06:44 It was entered the code. It was the goal. Lucy, do you follow what's going on here? I had no clue what was going on. But then I got it once you explained it. Horily. But it took a long time to ask. I didn't explain it.
Starting point is 00:06:55 It was a good thing. Pretty vividly, actually. And that was probably the problem. Those are always the best jokes. I'm still trying to figure out what Greg Cody is doing. He's sitting there waiting for to order lunch and all of a sudden things just blow up around.
Starting point is 00:07:06 Did you send a text before, Anne, saying, hey, I'm going to be a little old. No, for me, you have that five minute window. That's my argument here. My dad thinks, if you're not there right at 1230, you need to send a text for me. You have a five minute window. Chris, it takes two to synchronize the opening of the law. Right. Right.
Starting point is 00:07:22 And if you're not going to be there, if you're not going to be there at 30, you should send a text, say, Hey, I'm running a little bit behind. That's what I thought the original statement was. Was that right? I thought, Hey, why would you text me at 12, when you text me at 12, 20, yo, I'm running a little bit. That's on me. I'm sorry. It's a dad thing with you. You don't want your dad telling you, Hey, where are you son? Like, do you have any friends that do that? I think 12, 31, but for me, five minutes is like, I agree with you Chris.
Starting point is 00:07:46 Like it's a window. Like I don't have, like this isn't. Punctuality is about respect. This isn't an airline flight. There's two ways to do it. It's like, just say, hey, I'm running a little bit late because I'm always the person that's sitting at the table at the designated time.
Starting point is 00:07:59 And therefore, whatever reason traffic is back, I'm not gonna tell a blow smoke and say, I'm on time all the time. But if I'm running late, I take it personally and I make sure to say, hey, I'm not gonna tell a bloat smoke and say, I'm on time all the time, but if I'm running late, I take it personally, and I make sure to say, hey, I'm running a little bit behind them very sorry. I definitely, definitely want to be that person that's letting someone know in advance,
Starting point is 00:08:15 but I'm not gonna call someone out on being late until at least five minutes, like what Chris is saying. Like I would never at 1231 send a friend to text like, hey, we're all right. That's the problem. Here's what I would do though. There's two people on the wrong here. Well, three if you include, if you include Izzy. No, but for me, it's not, for me, it's that window though,
Starting point is 00:08:34 for me, you're not late until 1235. I would like to, I give them 15. I give them like a dot as I was 15 minutes. I'm sitting there for long time. 1245 and I'm like, okay, you're I'll give a 15 minutes. I'm sitting there for long until it's well 45 and I'm like, okay You're sitting by yourself for 15 minutes. I am I'm all sometimes trying to get a little bit over with and I'm out of there It's no even takes back If you're in mean, you don't mind. You just get next to drinking
Starting point is 00:08:57 Secondly Okay, I mean come on. I was fine. It's not a hundred dollars for the segment. Yeah, this flat Yeah, 100 on each one. $195 on me now, because the chair of fun. I mean, I'm not lying. You nodded. But Chris, I would be the type. I'd be the type.
Starting point is 00:09:13 Review the tapes. Lowest video team is spent tackled, by the way. So look to the video team. Hold it. They don't point. I don't think he nodded. I mean, do you have a very long reference point that we can get lost in to describe what a misuse.
Starting point is 00:09:26 He just did. Don't get on the bad side. What? I was locked in on your eyes trying to follow. He's already on my bad side. Don't you do it. It's a man that he was our famous when he had a show looking on ESPN radio than he is now.
Starting point is 00:09:37 Oh my damn. Oh my god. We all need to take a deep breath. Thank you, Los. Ace. I think he's more famous now. What? I mean, I was on Bermani acid.
Starting point is 00:09:48 Transition. Transition. What should Los is new nickname be? Because I don't want to call her Los Tooth. That's just not fire. I think she should call it because Luchi or Luchiano or Luchini or something amazing. Luchiman.
Starting point is 00:10:03 Luchiman is awesome awesome. So you feel me Lucifer it is That's being Mike back to a mean I think you're awesome You're one of my best friends in the entire world You know it doesn't get mentioned enough you always reach out and you let me be involved in your your podcast And I you're so nice brother and when we we be outside in our start games and situations, you make me feel like I'm actually your brother. I see you, your brother.
Starting point is 00:10:31 I apologize how the segment went for you brother. What are we doing? A mean gets recognized all the time. You're very famous. A mean is very recognizable. What are you all doing? What's going on? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:10:41 They're all trying to make you feel good when you just took an absolute bomb to the segment with your team. I didn't take a bomb. Chris had a perfectly good idea. No, Chris did. No, Chris did until you decided to use that as a, a, a in. Yeah, that never happened to devastate him. I did communicate it poorly because no one understood what I was talking. No, I got Chris. I could do better next time. I was struggling, but I think, uh, I think we're all in each other's feelings right now, except for Lucy, loose, was talking. No, I got Chris. I could do better next time. I was struggling, but I think we're all in each other's feelings right now, except for Lucy, loose, Lucifer. Lucy,
Starting point is 00:11:09 Roy's been pretty chill this segment, but it's been tasty. Roy, when are you texting me? If we have a 12.30 lunch, what time are you texting me? No, I'm late. No, no, no, I just can't do this. I don't know how to set top. So Roy, you're sitting at the table. It is 12.31.
Starting point is 00:11:23 Chris is supposed to be there by 12.30. How many more minutes until you text him, where are you? I'll probably give him a three to five. Three to five. So 12.33. A window. You want to? Roy's big on punctuality.
Starting point is 00:11:35 Roy's always like the first person at the party. Anytime I had like a birthday or a gathering of anything, like Roy's there, like with that. Too early probably showing up to a party, right? Hey, listen, I'm not Eli Manning or anything. In 20. You don't need you don't need to I enjoy Roy's company So like great reference. I can always count on Roy being there. I cut that I appreciate punctuality It's a big deal. I appreciate them like for me a party is a totally different conversation a party like you have an hour The party started seven if I'm not oh yeah
Starting point is 00:11:59 Oh, there's a different thing that's a different thing There's a different but if you have a meeting and you're set up, like, and you're running late and I'd say, hey, I'm running a little bit behind. For a party, there is no arrival time. I have a nine. I have Chris with a full order ready if he's running even five minutes late. I think, hey, Dad, I'll be there in about five,
Starting point is 00:12:17 but can you just order me all of this please? I'm over this. You brought it up, Chris. I'm sorry. You're me, and to ask your question, I'm a guy. You're not fast. What are we doing. I'm sorry. You're being too enthusiastic. I'm a guy. You're not fast. What are we doing? I'm being awesome.
Starting point is 00:12:29 What are you up to? Don Lebertard. Can't cheer that type of stuff. Tom Brady went down with a Achilles. The only time he got hurt in his entire career. And I was fist pumped in my living room at home because the chance finally had a chance to win a division. I mean, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:12:41 I'm not going to apologize for that. I'm sorry. I'm not going to apologize for that. It's one of the most amazing sentences you've ever uttered. Still got from the maker of trust me. Don't trust me. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to know. You are a flabbergast in delight. You happen upon G is comedy by accident. That's my gift. DCC Don't Lebatar show with this two gods. Zach Snyder has been making movies that have been topics of conversation for a while. He came out pretty hot with 300 and since then it kind of feels like he's been trying to recapture that.
Starting point is 00:13:41 His movies have been mostly miss, although he became polarizing figure and there are people that swear by his justice like movies. What are you doing? A loud close-up. That was the loudest drinking of water ever, and you know you do this all the time. And, by the way, let's just get back, I'm sorry, Zach's not there. Come on. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:14:00 Let's not let that happen. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, You're feelings right now and you are not hot man. This is not you looking good I mean like we did this once before amazing and I'm not a fan like you Think this is a look for you. I mean you look hot, bro. No I'm only here for one more day. What? Oh, huh? Good riddance. Oh, no. I don't know what is happening Zack Snyder is why this is happening
Starting point is 00:14:40 What will you do with Zack Snyder? This is what have to do everything with the majors being a little bit too sensitive. And him trying to explain something when all I'm trying to do is make a simple press code. We started a brand new segment. We were going in a topic. We had closed the previous chapter. We left it alone. We had a break and then you decided to do all of this.
Starting point is 00:15:07 I mean, that happens every Tuesday as well. Yeah, it's Greg Cody, 69 years old. We can, you know, go ahead and explain that, but I mean, I can't have a drink of water. Not like that, man. I can't have a drink of water. I think I have to have that perfect. No, I just want to clear. So that when my throat is all dry
Starting point is 00:15:20 and I start carving and stuff like that, that's okay, right? Because I can't drink. And you're playing. You're playing like a hard drinker. I mean, you know very well how the- Just go drink it outside. I'll go drink outside.
Starting point is 00:15:30 Go, go, go. I'll go drink outside. Thank you. This is not gonna be helpful because I don't know shit about Zack Snyder movies and he's about to go outside. And Mike's gonna pick this up from here, but see you later, I mean. I love you so much, I mean, you, my brother.
Starting point is 00:15:44 I promise. I'm sorry, you guys have to work that out on him. You have to work it out of him. It's crazy. He tries to play a part, tries to blow, and then he gets all sensitive. Like don't get sensitive with me, man. I don't think it's wise to talk about him
Starting point is 00:15:54 when he's left the game. I wanna do that. All right, Zack Snyder. I don't wanna talk about Zack Snyder. Wow, why? I'm gonna talk about them. Because I just feel like it inflamed further tensions. All right.
Starting point is 00:16:04 So whose fault was this? Really? I mean, you see it on it. Like on the heels of the last segment, you know, we know a mean. Like you got to him a little bit. We were trying to move forward and then you just brought it back to something petty
Starting point is 00:16:16 and then like how did I get to him? How did I get to him? The same way you got to me yesterday. Who else is in this chair and makes random shaming jokes to other people in there? Is he going to yell it down that way? Is that not part of the structure of the show? I don't. Can we just get along? We can. I will say you're doing wonders for my likeability rating. I'm here for you, man. I'm generally like, I'm getting hit with all
Starting point is 00:16:42 the poison. I think I've been pretty chill. Yeah. And look, I am doing terrible things for my likeability. Because the last time I was here, I was crying like a baby. And everybody's like, oh, we love his, he's such a nice guy. And now I'm here in a mean with the terrible joke ruins all of that. Those shoes are doing terrible for your likeability act sweat.
Starting point is 00:17:00 We, my nipple shoes are doing great. Do you want to get water too? No, I was just trying to put a little possess on my words, trying to lighten them all. Yeah, I messed up a barrier, you know? Guys, great. I'm not great. I don't have to deal with the mean for the rest of this deck, guys.
Starting point is 00:17:13 No, I want to talk to you with making it worse. Well, hey, all right. Look, shipping container. Yes, on us to heal whatever this is, and make sure it's not something that permeates through the rest of the show. Yes. Well, rally.
Starting point is 00:17:24 After this, we'll take a quick break, and we'll say, whatever this is, make sure it's not something that permeates through the rest of the show. Well, rally. After this, we'll take a quick break, and we'll say, whatever's happening isn't exactly working. Nor is it entertaining. We have to close the door on that and get back to making a good show. All right, we'll do that after the break. But in the meantime, I want to talk about Trolls 3.
Starting point is 00:17:41 Yeah. You mentioned that you don't watch trailers, which is why you thought Oppenheimer is one of the funniest things I've ever so good. You thought Oppenheimer was a superhero movie until about an hour in when you realize, oh, this is actually pretty, it's a biopic. That's what happened to Logan Paul, I believe.
Starting point is 00:17:58 Yeah, Logan Paul said he walked down on Oppenheimer because it was just people talking. He did that on a podcast. Logan Paul said this on a nightmare because it was just people talking. He did that on a podcast. Logan Paul set this on a podcast in which he's only talking. But I haven't heard the take any kind of makes sense if you're not watching the trailer and you're only seeing the print marketing aspect of it, I kind of get it. I totally get it. I think it makes a lot of sense.
Starting point is 00:18:22 He saw sound waves and fire. I think it makes a lot of sense. He saw sound waves and fired, how? So I get you there, but you missed out because, do you watch trailers if you're at a movie theater and they're playing before? Nah, I don't go in until this time, I curtains. How do you map that out? Triskurious. Basically, I kind of hang out.
Starting point is 00:18:42 I'm usually going to the movies with somebody and I hang out and I see what's going on. When the lights go down, and the movie roller coaster starts happening, that's when I enter. What's your equipment standing there, Bayden White Light? Just make sure if you're that late, you send great Goodya text.
Starting point is 00:19:00 So you miss out on trailers, which is, I want to talk specifically about a trailer. Hang on one second. Can somebody just go check on a mean real quick because I'd honestly I don't want him to be upset at me He was upset. I will chat. He was upset. I'll second. He said he said MF on his way out He's like, he said that all the time MF this the guy he was not he's trying to do content here And it's like an improv game and I feel like he feels strongly about one app I'm not gonna find out but we're building a bridge one app and that's fine. We'll find out. But we're building a bridge.
Starting point is 00:19:26 We're getting over it. We're talking trolls three. Hey. In the trailer, there was a goose bump moment. Now, I've seen the trolls franchise because I have a soon to be four year old. Not the biggest fan of it. I must admit, doesn't really do much for the storyline. The art.
Starting point is 00:19:43 Everything is just not one of my favorite animated films, but in this trailer, for those that are unfamiliar, Justin Timberlake is a part of this franchise. He's like the lead male voice in this film franchise. And each trolls movie has a lot to do with music. It's heavy on the music. And the Kendrick's in the cast, They have music artists through numbers in it. The sequel was all about journalism music and all that, how they had all their different types of trolls. The third film seems to be concentrating on pop music and nostalgic pop music. It's basically a film for the parents that are taking their kids to go see trolls while
Starting point is 00:20:21 it reintroduces. Not unlike that. It introduces this brand of music to all of it. From the trailer, you hear a lot of early 2000s, late 90s, hot music, boy band music. And there's an elephant in the room when you're doing that because Justin Timberlake's in the cast. From the trailer, you can tell that Justin Timberlake's got to be singing Baxery Boy's songs. And Justin Timberlake is actually singing in sync songs, which is he's broken off from that group.
Starting point is 00:20:51 They haven't reunited. His career totally blew up and the rest of them say doing nostalgia acts around there, except for JC. JC is just waiting in the wings. Very curious to see what JC's next move is. I used to know the dirty pop choreography from that video. That was my favorite. Chris, you're back.
Starting point is 00:21:09 From the Make In The Band? From the Make In The Video. No, the video, just regular video. Well, because it famously had a making video episode on MTV where everyone got the choreography down. How about that? I didn't see that. Same with Bye-Bye-Bye.
Starting point is 00:21:20 That was just a very bad. Chris. I thought this was like, you know, we're all having fun here. I'm sorry. Barely he left. And he's quoted as saying this is effing bullshit as he left. Yeah. Which part?
Starting point is 00:21:33 What is it with you two when you're making audio together where a mean leaves? This is a second time you've done it. I'm not the one leaving. No, but on ESPN radio, he famously left a segment in the middle of it, because he was frustrated with you. Why are we? I never know what a means doing. It's like I said before, I don't believe his dream recounts.
Starting point is 00:21:54 I think he's a frustrated screenwriter. I also think he's a frustrated actor, because he just does stuff. And I have no idea if it's real or not, but now he's gone. And so it's got to be real, because I've got another couple hours to fill, and I don't have another co-host. Well, but now he's gone. And so it's gotta be real because I've got another couple hours to fill and I don't have another co-host. Well, that was really unprofessional of the mean.
Starting point is 00:22:08 I'm sad to hear that he left and I will call him after this because again, it's on us. We'll get through this together. Not to mention, he slept through a radio show that I did with him one time, called him every 15 minutes, didn't even pick up his phone.
Starting point is 00:22:22 I had to carry the thing all by myself. You think, I said, hey, a mean, why'd you sleep through it? I didn't even fake it. I was just like, hey, I did a great show. We're not helping this. This matters. It doesn't. It doesn't.
Starting point is 00:22:31 But it wouldn't have been brought up. You know, take off. These are deep-seater resentments that we don't need to air out over the air. What we need to talk about is trolls. Three. Yes, ma'am. Yes, ma'am.
Starting point is 00:22:40 Hi. One thing that I read and deciphered from the trailer and then later sought out via Google is it appears that instinct is indeed reuniting for this film. This is one of the best pieces of news I've received in about a decade. I feel like we could all use a little good news right now. Yeah. And I you couple this with there was a Joey Fattone performance at that one. All right. And there's a song lyric where he mentions word reunite. And he gave such a coi smile. He was like reunite. And everyone got popular on social media. Because everyone's like, oh my gosh, it's really happening. Are they getting back together? And it's not in the conventional sense. It's for trolls three. But if this is successful,
Starting point is 00:23:22 maybe where is Lance bass? He's usually doing the joy. Performing at the Joey Fattone concert. It's like Joey Fattone's same thing. Joey Fattone has become the most famous because he's hosted game shows. The Chris Karpatric and Lance Bass kind of ride side car on the Joey Fattone thing. You would think it would be Joey Fattone Lance Bass
Starting point is 00:23:40 and Chris Karpatric of Insync, but no, very clear headliner. In terms of most famous members of in sync. Joey Vittone is second. He's more famous than JC just because JC has been hiding. Yeah, I mean, I would say Joey Vittone in Lance Bass or sort of the co headliners there, but you can't forget that Chris Kirkpatrick was a chip skylark and fairly odd parents. My shiny teeth and me shout out to the real ones who know that song.
Starting point is 00:24:04 The interesting with the with in sync is that the trolls movie is called trolls band together. So it would make sense that a boy band would come back together for this movie, but I think it also sets up for what I think Justin Timberlake should do with the rest of his career. He looks like he's about to potentially release a new single with Nelly Frittado and Timberlake and come back and do that. Missy American Century. He missed the American Century championships, the golf thing that we saw every year, where he's a fixture because he was in, quote, the lab.
Starting point is 00:24:34 Yeah, he could have been one of the top rows and missed his opportunity, but he's supposed to be releasing music with them. He's seemingly doing the nostalgia play within sync as well in trolls. And what I think Justin Timberlake should do is at this moment of his career, where his likability isn't there the same way, he should do the reverse airstor. Take a note from Taylor Swift and start his concerts with his brand new single that he's going to have with Timberlaine and Elifertado go reverse chronology through his entire discography to get to the end of the concert where every single
Starting point is 00:25:05 night the encore is an in sync reunion. JT, you're welcome for saving your career. Discography. Did I not say that film? That's a stadium tour of a, if they reunite. That's what I'm saying. Potentially needs another act to be big enough and backstreet boys would jump in from the trailer.
Starting point is 00:25:21 It sounds like in sync and backstreet band together and do a BSB number. Insink's back. All right. Somebody go outside and figure out if it means like legit or if he's foolish. He's legit. He's legit. Don LeBotard. If I'm at the house with them and they're all rooting, I could just be like, yeah,
Starting point is 00:25:37 rah rah rah. Go Yankees. Oh, God. You know how unsettling it would be if I attended a live sporting event and someone behind me was just going, rah Rah! Rah! Rah! Browns! Rah! He's... Rah Rah Rah! BCC Don LeBathar Show with his two guards!
Starting point is 00:26:01 I'm sitting in the CP chair today, so I'm just gonna call Amin on air and not tell Amin's on air. All right, that's what we're gonna do. He left, he stormed out, and we're putting him back on air. Let's see if I... I'm dangerous game, man, because he stormed out. Like, it's not like he's finally being part of it. Let's just see what he was doing. Hello? Amin. What's up?
Starting point is 00:26:19 Are you coming back here? Not, man. I'm cooling air by the way. Are you just come you don't want to just come back up just we'll talk all step out and we can talk like we thought this was kind of like a bit. No, you don't have to No, it's not a bit man. It's Okay, I was because he's not because I don't like Yeah, he's a guest. I don't know what like why we're Like this allowing you to happen shit. Yeah, okay. I thought we were just having fun. Is he excited about... I'm regretting doing this on air now. No, it's three.
Starting point is 00:27:06 Kind of regretting doing this. Trolls three. That's an astronaut. Zack Sider. How do you feel about that decision, EP? I thought we were going to get some fun there. Like, what happened, is he? I thought we were...
Starting point is 00:27:16 Listen, I have no idea. I have no idea how people respond to me. I apparently cannot tell jokes to certain people. Even you, Chris, got a little upset. When I said something, I'm just like, come on now. I thought we all lean into this stuff here. I think I'm just working too, Dan much. He's got oddball every day. He's the only one who gets to come in here on Fridays. He's probably all spinning by himself, nothing to do. Yeah, I think he's just working too much and got sensitive and wants to take it out
Starting point is 00:27:39 on me because he knows I'm not going to be back next week. Speaking of not being back next week, the newest episode of hard knocks, snooze, best. Please. This is a mean topic, by the way. So please, let's do it here. Aaron Rogers just is coming off to, it's too try hard. He's trying to be too likable. Hey, right. Everything he says is for the camera. Everything everybody does is for the camera. And Evan Cook coming in. Wasn't he against the hard knocks saying it first? Right. And now he's really leaning into it.
Starting point is 00:28:08 We're going to take the show back. I think you need a cool off a little bit. Go for it. You guys, I will just jump in like a double Dutch. Whenever you guys are in rhythm, I'll jump in. Let's, let's, you look two minutes for roughing. I think that's the, the play here. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:22 A great 12 blocks. We're not going to talk bad about you. I just think that you actually have to get yourself out of this space to calm down because you're still bringing up old shit. I'm going to be going because, um, look, whatever. You're not storming out too early. I'm out.
Starting point is 00:28:33 He said two minutes a rough. Just two minutes. I think just center yourself and we'll get back on it and we'll deal with no one mean. Leaving my nipple. Oh, my god. Let's go out and see if it's involved. Do you, do it's soft on?
Starting point is 00:28:46 No, no. I don't know what I'm feeling right now, but I'm feeling something. I can't, I thought the whole time. It's just real between those two. I feel like I had my finger on the pulse, and now I can't. I know, right?
Starting point is 00:28:57 It's this weird feeling. It's anxiety. Guys, look, we're all friends here, and we're family, and sometimes you get annoyed with your brother or your sister and you just gotta keep it moving. They'll be better for this. I think generally the content today has been fine
Starting point is 00:29:11 and we can salvage this. It's not a big deal. A mean left, okay, I mean, wasn't here for most of this show. Is he's not here right now, he's cool enough? He'll be back. I do think he's been a little bit mean but I promise not to talk bad about him but I've told him directly to his face.
Starting point is 00:29:24 Talk to me about hard knocks. At least you're not completely alone in there now. I'm fine with it. I feel generally given my character, I feel alone often. This is actually just a manifestation of how alone I feel, generally. That cannot be how Robert Salah X, Auditamber, he's speaking verbs and how pervaly his son is adorable,
Starting point is 00:29:44 but come on, brother. I'm, you know what I realized over the last few years that I'm out completely on the concept of hard knocks. Okay. And Tony was probably right about quarterback because I watched the first couple episodes of quarterback and it's like all the best things of hard knocks just condensed. I'm with Tony. Quarterback is better than hard knocks.
Starting point is 00:30:01 Well, to me, the best things about hard knocks and I'm going to date myself here. It's the Bobby Cipios of the world. It's a Danny Amindola. It's a guy on the end of the Ross or Truss Hogan team. And it's 7-11. It's those stories. Guys that became stars and known primarily through hard knocks, I understand. It's too tempting to not hone in on Aaron Rodgers and make them the story.
Starting point is 00:30:25 It is a big story in a new place, but that's not the secret sauce that makes a hard-knock's work. And from everything that I've heard of, there really aren't those stories to get their hooks into you. And there haven't been for a long time. I guess last year, I didn't Campbell cool,
Starting point is 00:30:44 like I'm not here to hate on Dan Campbell. I just, I'm more familiar with Dan Campbell being that he was an interim coach here in Miami. So the novelty isn't there for me with Dan Campbell that it was there last year. And I was just like, they're really going to hammer home this character that are more than enough familiar with. Yeah. And then the COVID year, I got, that was the year that got me out of Hard Knocks when they focus on the Rams and the Chargers too. It was interesting. All tested. Right. It was interesting to see their infrastructure for all that stuff, but again, no big story to get me emotionally invested. So I just think it's flatly, it's not a show that works in the modern era.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Right. I think what you said is true. It usually focuses on the underdog and chose the perseverance of it. This season is coming in focusing on the superstar, I'm in the who look who's coming in town. And yeah, he's ours guys. That's our quarterback. And it's like there's not too much feeling. They touched on a little bit with the family of the running back who got injured in the jazz game. Forget his name, 25. But outside of that, there isn't. Oh, also the charcoose board guy. He's, he's, he's, yeah, he's on the path to make the team as well. Charcootry. Yeah. Yeah. No, no, he said charcoochie. He said, he said, the guy said,
Starting point is 00:31:57 now there was, there was some pushback from the NFL PA a couple of years ago that look, someone gets cut in hard knocks. They're going gonna cut for real. And it says something about us that we wanna actually see those things. So they've gotten away from that too. Because when hard knocks first came out, when it was a Cowboys, that was cold. And DeHopkins versus, what's his name? DeAngelo Ha, whoo, that was awesome.
Starting point is 00:32:21 That was on hard knocks? Yeah. Oh, I remember seeing that. I didn't know that was hard. I would say getting cut is a hard knock life. Now when you came back in here, Oh, that was awesome. That was on hard knocks? Yeah. Oh, I remember seeing that. I didn't know that was hard. I would say getting cut is a hard knock life. Now, when you came back in here, when you came back in here,
Starting point is 00:32:30 you used for some reason smelled your shoes. Just a little bit, just to make sure. Is the smell of your shoe like farts? Like everyone likes their own brand? Like is that similar? Do people like the smell of their shoes? I don't think so. I was just smelling my shoes.
Starting point is 00:32:43 And then as he said into my ear, my feet never stink. I mean, God. How do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how
Starting point is 00:32:52 do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how do you, how was so hot and the scent emanated throughout the whole hallway and it was terrible. And all of a sudden I grew up and my feet don't stink. Let's test this. Let Mike smell your shoe. No, no.
Starting point is 00:33:08 You just wore them as nipples. I'm not going to make them smell them. So science experiment. You want to come in here and do it. I'll let you smell it. Mike's closer. If he says they don't smell, like, uh, while they do that, Lucy, who? Like if he says it doesn't smell bad, like if he says it smells bad, I wouldn't want to smell it. Right, but since it doesn't, yeah. All right, I'll do this.
Starting point is 00:33:24 All right, I'll do this. I'm going to turn away because the internet's weird and that image would last forever. You got to pay big bucks for that. Who is your favorite? In a person they don't smell. They don't smell nice. They do. Really? Uh, slight, slight tinge of there was a foot in here, but nothing.
Starting point is 00:33:39 Would you wear it as a cologne? No. Okay. No, it just doesn't smell. I guarantee you, my shoe probably smells a little bit more. Is he, did you wipe your feet off before just walking out there barefoot? No, I can't believe you don't even have the little like half socks on. Well, I'm a little concerned about what anyone saw out there because I have this one, my right big toenail. It was almost
Starting point is 00:33:59 on the verge of a great toast. It's what was a Greg's toe call to get the great toast situation because I got stomped on so hard back in February while playing football that it just looked like a little bloody toe nail to sort of let it grow out. But after I let it grow out, I realized this is fake nail. And so I like just did it like that and it cracked and it all came off. And so underneath that apparently,
Starting point is 00:34:20 like my, I don't know if this is a thing, it looks like my nail bed was reset. It looks like somebody stomped so hard that I've got that much nail now, and it just kind of looks like an unborn nail. So you're second most disgusting revelation of the week. That's the dream. I once had a thing about the other one.
Starting point is 00:34:35 I don't have grapefee. I inherited bad feed from both my mother and father. And when I got into my early 20s, I was playing a lot of basketball, and I was playing so much that a toenail just fell off. Just fell off. But it was actually a good thing because it was not appealing to the eye.
Starting point is 00:34:53 And doing that actually made the nail nice again, to which I was relatively proud of that nail. So a nail falling off isn't the worst thing in the world. Lucy, if I go get a manipedi, will they look at that and say, I don't know what to do with that or are there advancements in technology that I can sort of regrow my nail there? You could definitely regrow it. I'm sure you could go to a CVS and find something, but I don't think they're going to be mean to you if you go get a pedicure, but you should definitely tip extra.
Starting point is 00:35:23 You know who has a terrible pedicure, pedicure, shakilonil, and he was a Miami heat. Did you see the, what I got aggregated yesterday between Spostra and Anthony Edwards? Exactly what you learned the foundation. You feel me? Jeremy was psychic. And this is a topic that I mean wanted to talk about again. So let's get into it, Jeremy. I mean, I'm not going to say that I laid the foundation for Eric Spolstra to be able to lay the foundation for Anthony Edwards to come to Miami.
Starting point is 00:35:53 But we did come on this show yesterday and say specifically that Spone needed to go out and say that Anthony Edwards reminded him of a certain two guard back in the day who wore the number three in Miami. And that is exactly what happened. Literally as soon as we all got out of here, there started to be quotes that came out from Eric Spolster praising Anthony Edwards and how similar he is to Dwayne Wade. Before we continue, I'd like to just talk to Jude here and how we all fell for that terrible segue because it had nothing to do with feet or Shaquille O'Neal.
Starting point is 00:36:22 You just jumped from Shaquille O'Neal, former teammate of Duane Wade, coached by Eric's post-trip boom. And then you got a fist bump from Roy, which is a great transition. I think something's inside of you right now. That's just kind of breeding the negativity. That's right. It's the one to set them up like that. Right, is it? Huh?
Starting point is 00:36:40 You don't want to see what you're doing. I see what I did, but I'm also a real, I mean, I look, man, I be trying to fit into y'all circles and try to be nice and bring stuff in, but the insults are coming from your way, Izzy, 100 miles an hour. I don't know if it's the shoes or what, it must be the shoes, because I'm just trying to involve
Starting point is 00:36:59 all our teammates in these conversations that you keep having in ballhogging on, talking about some damn mean. He's literally acting. I mean, it's about about 30 minutes not involved in the conversation at all. I told you I was just going to do the double judge jump in and you guys were talking about something and I got asked about my feet and I answered the question. I think a Jeremy Tashay was talking about air exposure. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:19 And then you bought it back to me for some reason to get a joke. Because we don't know. We have to examine these things as how the show works. Chris can't say a word and mispronounce might leave without dance on yet. And so, you know. I'm not doing anything, brother. You're the one that's been doing it on YouTube.
Starting point is 00:37:32 You've been saying, I'm not doing okay, look, I ain't saying nothing, but success. There's never ever since the spunk lock. You're a no, by the way. You've been, you've been sent to let people not talk about their winners, not talk about their feet. You're like a body part shape. You know what?
Starting point is 00:37:44 You know why? You know why? Because I run the social media for this show. And I see the comments and the fans of the show who love Dan for 20 years, they don't want to hear penis talk. They don't want to hear a poop talk. They don't want to hear none of that stuff. They don't want to tune in and talk about the current sports that's going on in this great country that we live in. You're filming the fans of the Dan Levitard show are tuning in for contemporary sports socks the gack. Yes. I do
Starting point is 00:38:07 I don't know what y'all do y'all come here and play games. I'm in here game money Who has Greg Cody tattooed on him. It's all about the sports breed. Zagaki
