Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to Giraffe King's Network. This is the Dunlabel Tarshall with the Stugat's Podcast. Charlotte, count us in. Five. Wait, do I turn to do it? You turn, yes, you turn to one too. Five. Well, do I turn to do it? You turn, yes, you turn to do it. Five. Well, no, your mic is on.
Starting point is 00:00:29 That's just a means. Let's just start. Okay. Hello. Hello. Well, this is a problem. Mike has had a problem recently, Charlotte. You gotta get better at this.
Starting point is 00:00:41 Everyone around here needs to get better at this. Mike's scared to leave that seat because clearly i'm not trustworthy at this state i'm unstable and there are a lot of plates spinning and uh... he needs that seat to be able to do certain things that when roys not here see roi people don't know this roi handles that part way and might doesn't have to worry about anything when roys over there handling some of those things that are audio
Starting point is 00:01:04 but we don't have a lot of other producers who have bothered to learn any of that. Yes, well I want you to know that I am doing my best. I'm trying to be a sponge for the information and now I know to push these two buttons and my button and to count down. I didn't do that. You want to do it right now? Yeah, we're not on air yet. So you want to do it right now. You can do that. You want to do it right now? Yeah. We're not on air yet. So if you want to do it right now, you can do it. Five, four, three. Please stop interrupting her. Two.
Starting point is 00:01:29 She has to restart it every time. Five. Five. Last time. Five, four. Just one more time though. Are you going to learn this? Five.
Starting point is 00:01:37 Are you, will you learn it anytime soon? Five. Do you think you'll, will you be too busy eating blue cheese and pears to ever learn? I don't like either of those individuality. Five, four, three. Show us not good counting. How's that? Damn it.
Starting point is 00:01:51 OK, Travis Kelsey is planning a birthday party for Taylor Swift. That's what I want to talk about, Dan. Because he said it's going to be over the top. It's going to be the best thing you ever saw. You ain't never seen anything like this. Sean Stolotto actually is planning it. But I just want to think of the best play, like, sure. You could take her to anywhere in the world.
Starting point is 00:02:11 You're both unbelievably rich, right? He needs to zig where everybody would tag. He needs to do, like, he needs to rent out a Daven Busters and throw like the greatest party you've ever seen at a Daven Busters or like a Rainforest Cafe. I'm really hoping that's what we get from this. But you can't buy it out though, greatest party you've ever seen at a Dave and Busters or like a rainforest cafe. I'm really hoping that's what we get from this. But you can't buy it out though,
Starting point is 00:02:28 because then it'll just be so obvious that you're rich and we have this whole place. You want it to seem like a normal thing. So you have to hire a bunch of people to just be at Dave and Busters. So they can act normal. So they can be at the Seedball machine without being bothered,
Starting point is 00:02:42 but they still want to have people around. So it feels like they're in a normal setting. So you need to hire, I'd say what, like 50, 100 actors, just to be in the David butz busters and not talk to them. That's not Ziggin. Ziggin is saying, you know what? We're not doing anything because birthdays are dumb. Oh, well, I'm gonna expand their take in here. Oh, of course.
Starting point is 00:02:59 Cool tortilla blanket. You want to instead of talking about Taylor Swift and romance and Travis Kelsey and the hot story you want to talk of talking about Taylor Swift and romance and Travis Kelsey and the hot story you want to talk about birthdays are overrated. That's what you want to do. This feel like if you lead with I don't celebrate birthdays, it saves a lot of trouble of figuring out what the pressure on this doesn't like decaprio rent out Dodger Stadium isn't that a thing that like pop stars do or young people where they'll have a can didn't didn't be or do candlelight dinner at the forum or something where they
Starting point is 00:03:27 just rent out these giant places can he be low key on how it is that he does a birthday for Taylor Swift is there too much pressure on it that's what I'm saying you're never gonna be able to hit the highest mark so just say I don't do it and also like he's the poor one here you know what I mean so like he can't get her anything that she doesn't already like he can't get her anything that she doesn't already have or can't get herself. Which is why you've got to go weird with it. That's why you've got to do something
Starting point is 00:03:52 she would never do, like the Buffalo Wildlings in Times Square. Which is actually the last place that I ate before the pandemic hit. Fun fact. A little bonus fact from the weird eater. Yep. Blue cheese there. You had plenty of pears and blue cheese.
Starting point is 00:04:07 Where was the last place you ate before the pandemic? Yeah. Like when shit went down. Yeah, when Tom Hanks got it. Was it before Rudy Go Bear? I think of Go Bear first. For me, like, I don't know, let's Tom Hanks. For me, the shit went down, and I'm not trying to one up.
Starting point is 00:04:23 I'm just like, no, no, no, no. Shit went down for everybody. Like, we all agree's Tom Hanks? For me, the shit went down, and I'm not trying to one up, I'm just like, no, no, no, shit went down for everybody. Like, we all agree, Tom Hanks getting in and the rooty go bear thing, that was like, oh shit. I was at a laundromat. Yeah, but slightly before then, we had to put things in place. Wait a minute. Yeah. What?
Starting point is 00:04:39 Yeah, I was at a laundromat when Tom Hanks got it. I'll never forget. So you were out at a place where you could have caught it. Yeah, that's what it was. It's when it got well, I had to wash my comforter and the washer dryer unit that we had in our apartment wasn't big enough for the comforter. So we walked over to the laundromat over there
Starting point is 00:04:56 on like Alton Road or whatever it was and we were washing our comforter. And then I found out Tom Hanks had it and then I found out that, oh God, what was the name of the deal get there? That's not, that's not fair. I found out Sarah Palin was on the mass singer singing baby got back at the same time.
Starting point is 00:05:14 It was a crazy thing. Neither of those things are very comforting pieces of information. We'll get back to Travis Kelsey. I remember the Sunday before everybody wanted to go out on the boat because it was like, what's gonna happen? Let's have one good day on the boat.
Starting point is 00:05:29 So I went out on the boat, found a ramp that wasn't closed. And then I got a phone call while I was at the, on the boat from my bosses at ESPN saying that this host had just dropped off remote equipment and we were going remote beginning that Monday. I met the host of the disease. Yeah, I was like, oh my God. That was Amber.
Starting point is 00:05:48 Amber had a remote kit and we needed that to do our show. And ESPN decided, all right, might go to the Cleveland or get it. I'm like, wait, so you don't want us going to the Cleveland for work, but you're having me go to the Cleveland or right now as everyone is raging thinking that it might be the last rage or ever.
Starting point is 00:06:08 You want me to just walk through that. I'm presently on a boat. I got dropped off at a dock. I had a call in Uber and I went straight to the Clevelander through a lot of people breathing out of their mouths. And that's how we got the show up and running that following. I think I, didn't you send me to Amber? I remember going to Amber's house.
Starting point is 00:06:25 You went to Amber's house, you dropped it off at the Clevelander, I picked it up, so we both risked life in love. Look at me. It trickled down $50 million like there it was. There it is. And Stephen A Smith now has learned that what he has to do is find the amount of money
Starting point is 00:06:41 that they're paying McAfee outside of ESPN. like it's a real twist that that whole thing took again at a company that made Mike go out into the virus and Mike Then sent Chris out to the virus because we couldn't get a microphone. It was early on Yeah, and he was just meeting up with Amber and then he went to the I don't I think she like put it somewhere we didn't go near each other like she put it down Walked away and then I went and got it Because you went to South Beach what a time we thought we were all living in contagion right like where we didn't know it was I miss it Was that before masks? I don't even remember we weren't masking up. Yeah, this is pre-mask Yeah, they're like don't wear masks wash your hands causes it
Starting point is 00:07:21 Causes it it was a fun time man. I won't lie Billy. You miss it. Yeah I used to walk up like not even like on the grass on like rocks on all kinds of things if someone's walking within like four feet of me when I was walking my dog I was off that sidewalk. I was all road. Do you know? I avoided so many people at the grocery store. Is that a sea lion? Well no I was going to say something but she was going, I just remember literally holding my breath when walking by people in public. I remember that time of like, I'm good. I held my breath.
Starting point is 00:07:53 Yes. Not all the time. Do you remember everyone? Everyone became like a survivor contestant. They were wearing like the buffs around like their nose. Oh, I love that buff. I missed that. See?
Starting point is 00:08:03 And then they said the buffs didn't do anything. Yeah, they were like, oh, the band-daddy even wearing that looks pretty cool. That's right. Pretty cool. I liked it. They were like, you got to wear these these like P90 or something. I did that bandana over a mask and then I was walking down the street and almost died. Like I thought I was cutting off like all possible air from getting in. You were the most, you were the most vigilantly scared, correct? Among all the people who were in Washington. I mean, Billy has been washing his groceries
Starting point is 00:08:28 since before, like the pandemic, like for seven years, Billy's been washing his groceries. Same, dude, when it came out and they were like, you should carry hand sanitizer at all times. You should stay away from people, don't get on planes. Like, if you have a mask, I wear it eventually. I was like, you guys haven't been doing this? I've been a hypochondromyne my whole life.
Starting point is 00:08:44 I have a hand sanitizer in every single backpack I own. I think I only own one backpack, but I have a few hands in a tussure. I had it your time. All right, so where does Kelsey take Taylor's lead? It's a great question, she's asking, because I do think this is now pressurized in a way that's not terribly reasonable.
Starting point is 00:09:03 Like maybe he already knows her so well that he could buy the syrupy, romantic gift, but look at him. I'm telling you, she just wants to do normal things. Just look at a commercial flight. What's more normal than forgetting a birthday? I feel like you're not dating Travis Kelsey to get swept off your feet.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Right. Yes, that's exactly why. No, she has everything. You got to bring regular life back to her. But he's what she wants. No, but he could reach her with romance if he knows something that will move her in a spiritual place about her. And telling you it's David Buster's. I'm with Charlotte. I feel like he burps in front of her already and she likes that normalcy. 1000%. That he's just a I do think it's a refreshing change of pace for her because Travis Kelsey is as close
Starting point is 00:09:50 to a normal guy in terms of her dating catalog that she's ever gonna find and she probably finds a look at this guy you just farted, can you imagine that Harry never did that? Her life has to be super weird, right? Like before him, the things in her life must be... If she's selling out arenas of 100,000 hardest-ticking and entertainment where people are outside of the arenas
Starting point is 00:10:17 singing her songs, certainly she's being treated like an entertainment economy with every whim and desire catered to by every human being in her orbit, correct? Yeah, she said before the midnight album came out, she was like, I struggle sometimes with not feeling like a person because this is insane, basically. So I think that Travis Kelsey is,
Starting point is 00:10:38 I mean, he also is so publicly proud of her and wants to be seen with her and all of her other boyfriends were like, you know, just running away. Oh, no shit. Okay. Of course, like, of course. No, but they all weren't. They were all like, oh, she's more successful than I might hate it.
Starting point is 00:10:53 And what did none of them give her? Skieball. Pop a shot. Exactly. Tickets that you can use to buy things. Buy things that currency can't buy. Where are you going to get a spider ring from? Where are you going to get the finger trap from? Bouncy Ball. Where are you going to get that money can't buy where are you gonna get a spider ring from where you're gonna get the finger trap from bouncy ball
Starting point is 00:11:06 Where you gonna get that money can't buy that you need tickets and where do you get them DMB's you know They don't even do tickets anymore. It's all electronic car. It's all just like I give my card I got nine under ticket did COVID ruin this too Do you see the meme where it was like what if Dave and Buster's were the same guy behind Barnes and Noble so it was Dave Noble? Wait, oh here we go Here we go, you'll find it. Here we go. David Buster By the way, I know my girl cook 15 seconds
Starting point is 00:11:35 No, I know No, it's just her barns. What they're what they're only 10 seconds. Barnam and daily. You got to hit it with the clock Dave noble in Buster Barnes. You got to you got to draw it with the clock. Dave Noble in Buster Barnes. You got to draw it out a little bit more in five seconds. Buster. Five. And four. Three, two, one. Don Lebertard.
Starting point is 00:11:55 They would try to bring in some minority characters. And you could, yeah, they tried. Louis Aguirre was one of them. They tried to dabble in Latin flavor and they went, he got, Maurice Chessant was one, either. Maurice Chessant, I'm sorry. God, what a beefcake in that show.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Miranda, why didn't you stay with him? I mean, we're gonna go with Steve on this one, seriously. Spulgatz. Oh no, clear out. I have to issue an apology. Uh oh, oh no. Oh no, is it a sex in the city apology? I would like to formally apologize to Blair Underwood for calling a morish chestnut. Oh, no!
Starting point is 00:12:34 Wow. Look. LA law, man. Come on, yo. This is the Dalébatá show with the stugats. The dude from David Buster's killed himself by the way. Oh God, David Buster. I think Buster killed himself. Buster. It is more of a bust. Billy, where'd your mustache go? Take me instead.
Starting point is 00:12:54 Billy, where are your mustache? The adhesive part is really hard to get off. What do you mean it's? And I was doing too many changes during the Delaney that I ran. I was pacing myself out. That's a weird thing for you. Is that the weird way you called Delays?
Starting point is 00:13:10 What? The way you were like during the Delays. I know that. But people with no context are there. I know that. During the Delaney. I was like, this is the funky way I say Delays. I think we have a new category of what used to be
Starting point is 00:13:22 sports radio. How do you talk about grief, the worst kind, with an old-timey baseball player in the background who's editing God Bless football? That's the Delaney. Delaney. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:33 I have somewhere I want to take this segment. I do. I've been watching some of these daytime television shows on mute, and I can see everyone is playing this Cam Newton clip. It's pretty inflammatory. He's calling a lot of quarterbacks game managers. We're going to play it. I'm going to get your read on it right now. Le Marjax and obviously Patrick Mahomes, Dak Prescott, Brack Pairty, like, but Brock,
Starting point is 00:13:57 let's, they're not winning because of him. He's not turning the ball over. He's managing the game. And if we were to put that in its own right as game managers, Brock, Pairty, to a tongue of a lower,
Starting point is 00:14:13 Jeric off. And really, that press got. These are game managers. They're not different smakers. And when you say game manager, I'm not asking you to go out and win the game. I'm just asking you not to lose. Not to lose the game. That's listen up. I don't give a damn what you do. You don't have to score every time. You just don't
Starting point is 00:14:32 have to throw a pick every time either. If we're gonna really call a spade a spade, a game manager is different than a game changer. How long do you think it takes him to get dressed in the morning? Thank you. That... My whole take here is everyone's just talking about how he insulted all these quarterbacks and Kim Newton has seemingly lulled everybody into thinking that this get-up is fine. What is he wearing? This is ridiculous! He has an Oxford shirt under a Christmas vest with a tie, but the collar's up.
Starting point is 00:15:06 And- That's leader-hosen. Buried the lead with that hat. Yeah, right? He's wearing, how did you go there? He's got a first. He's got a marching band conductor hat. Because I was trying to figure out what the combination
Starting point is 00:15:15 is. No, what is the hat first? OK, let me explain this to the audience. That is leader-hosen. Let me explain to the audience the audio audience that is still for me the most precious audience audience, but we gotta grow out video. This hat, someone explained it to the audio audience that cannot see what this hat is, what is that hat?
Starting point is 00:15:33 You remember the mouse from Dumbo? That's the hat. That's the hat. It looks like the taste of peaches and blue cheese. Oh, okay. The mouse from Dumbo. So amazing. The mouse from Dumbo sounds like Tommy the videos agent
Starting point is 00:15:47 I think his name is Timothy. Yeah, this is like a Shalameh if there was like a Christmas tree that came in contact with the ooze that made the ninja turtles and that overnight Animated and became someone that delivers quarterback. Thanks. What's at October fest? What is the symbol that's on that? Is that a woman that looks like Saiga, like for the audience, the hat is big as his head, correct? The hat is bigger than his head, bigger than the entirety of his head face.
Starting point is 00:16:17 That is high. It's a high hat above his head. Yeah, and it looks like a cowboy hat with a baseball brim felt. And it's wearing a belt. Yeah, it is. That is where it is. As that's due. I'm going to take the sound off, but can we put it in motion again?
Starting point is 00:16:34 Because does he have his logo on? Okay, no, that was a digital logo. Yeah, just put it in motion. I want to see this thing, how it moves. I want to see it in the light. I want to also ridiculous take. They're not winning because of him. Oh, I don't how it moves. I want to see it in the light. I want to also a ridiculous take. They're not winning because of him. Oh, I don't think it's a ridiculous thing. The game. Oh, come on, man. Come on. It's not a ridiculous take.
Starting point is 00:16:57 Well, those are those are overalls. It's a leader, it has. Oh, man. I thought that was just a design. I didn't know he's wearing a tie that is tucked under a sweater. He has his collar up around the tie. This is an absurd get up. I don't hate it. He's pulling it off. I don't hate it. I actually don't.
Starting point is 00:17:15 He pulls everything off. Layering is very cool. Wanted to physically pull this off. I just wonder, like, does he go to, like, publics? Well, do you guys not think, forgive me, when you say you want him to physically pull this off, you don't think his entire life is a famous person, everybody's wanted to pull that off of him?
Starting point is 00:17:33 We just talked about Taylor Swift. What he's talking about, the meat of what he's talking about is that these other quarterbacks are not the stars that he is, that he was in college. That's always the prison that he applies his take it to, which is it always comes back to cam. Matter of fact, that had nowhere near as big as his head. He's got a dry clean everything.
Starting point is 00:17:53 There's no, there's no laundry that can handle that. Well, some sweaters you actually can wash in a machine. If you have a special bag that you drive them in. Were you washing one during COVID? No, comfortfort. Comfort. That's a good mustache. That's the best one you've had so far. I believe that that makes you look the old time mustache. I think it's on upside down though, Billy. Is it? Mike, this sound of Cam Newton. I take offense to it. You know I'm a big Brock party guy because I watch Brock party. And yes, he was hitting open
Starting point is 00:18:24 receivers against the Seattle Seahawks that had loads of separation. Also, those throws were absurd. They were crazy throws that he's not gonna get credit for, and I watch him, and I'm specifically watching him, at least early on, to see where we can poke holes so we can further elevate the genius that Kyle Shannon is because you know how much I rate him. But I have very recent quarterbacks that played within that system that aren't doing what he's doing.
Starting point is 00:18:48 Brock pretty can make every throw. So if he's making BTTs in these games with immense talent, but that's what his low contract helps provide, I don't think he's just a game manager. If he's doing things that we've seen all their quarterbacks, that you could label as game managers do. He is making all the throw. This is what I would tell you as muddled here and it's weird to me to have it muddled because you would think in a sport that we're analyzing this much. You're looking for value that the measurements would be accurate but I will tell you again.
Starting point is 00:19:19 Nobody in that sport even at the top of the sport knows how to measure some of these things and not even the very best at this sport understand totally how Kyle Shanahan does that. Kyle Shanahan picked Tray Lansk because he thought he could make all the throws. Kyle Shanahan himself genius has been and must be surprised by the existence of Brock Purdy, but he got to within a throw of winning a Super Bowl with someone who was not Brock Purdy who started this process by making us confused about well How good is Jimmy Garoppolo actually Kyle Shane and also has this convenient thing when it comes to Tray lands Where everyone says well, he didn't really want Tray lands
Starting point is 00:19:53 So it was a front office decision and no one comes back around says well, he wanted Mac Jones like that's who we want it Take for this for what you want Christens has told us because we've asked him directly what directly, what if he got Mac Jones and he was there instead of Brock Purti, he said he would be Brock Purti. God bless football is excellent. And Chris Sims, I know a lot of people don't like him, but man, he is strong with his opinions itself.
Starting point is 00:20:17 And they are, nobody's super informed. Man, I don't care. It gives off, I don't give a shit what you think, which, you know, rubs people the wrong way. I like Chris. How good is your information is what i like and how reported how researched and you can get takes wrong here and they're of course because it look man none of us know in the last three quarterbacks that the
Starting point is 00:20:36 forty-nineers have told us are good that they believe in none of us know which of those three actually would be the best in every system. Hey, you know what would be? It would be like Tommy DeVito. It would be like Tommy DeVito. It would be like Tommy DeVito. It would be like Tommy DeVito.
Starting point is 00:20:54 It would be like Tommy DeVito. It would be like Tommy DeVito. It would be like Tommy DeVito. It would be like Tommy DeVito. It would be like Tommy DeVito. It would be like Tommy DeVito. It would be like Tommy DeVito. It would be like Tommy DeVito.
Starting point is 00:21:02 It would be like Tommy DeVito. It would be like Tommy DeVito. It would be like Tommy DeVito. It would be like Tommy DeVito. It would be like Tommy DeVito. It would be like Tommy DeVito. It would be like Tommy DeVito. present not terrible fake by you right there. I don't have to just leave you alone out there. Thank you. I was like Charlotte Shout out. Why don't we alone just we got to make this outfit a grid of death punishment. Okay. We will do that but Let's combine the outfit with the take mic because I do this to me this part of it is fascinating The sport is being revolutionized now defenses have made the changes that make it so that if they prepare for Josh Dobbs, no, get out of here. You're not that good. You're not a game manager. You're not anything. Get out of here. Astronaut. That's an excellent point. And the NFL and the
Starting point is 00:21:32 defenses right now are finding ways to expose these people that would be perceived as game managers. And he labeled a lot of names over there that I don't think I don't think it's just to say that that press got is a game manager but this is the the the thing that I would tell you is is everyone tries to make the measurements and cam newton is telling you I statuist me who has the confidence to wear this out if it don't care what you think because everyone wants to tear it off me i'm always superman i'm always i'm the i'm, I'm the, I'm Superman. He's here telling you, none of these people are as good as me
Starting point is 00:22:07 because he went, whatever it was, 15 or one as the only good player any of us remember on that Carolina team. Yeah, and even in that clip, he kind of compares, he thinks in his mind the antithesis of a game manager is what he was. They're not being asked to go make a big play every time down the field, which is what he was asked
Starting point is 00:22:23 with that one-logged line of things. Like Xandarm. Yeah, oh, he's the field, which is what he was asked with that one-loggy line of things. Like, like Xandarm. Yeah. Oh, he's the greatest, right- Right, right- your physical body. But here, let's examine this for a second, because the 49ers thought that the skillset of Tray Lance was Cam Newton's. They picked him that high,
Starting point is 00:22:37 they traded a bunch of people for him, they thought that that skill set physically was the things that you want from a quarterback that he gets in the system. I mean, he's not a lot of physical comps for Cam Newton. No, but Josh Allen is the list. The way they traded for him. The place they put the value.
Starting point is 00:22:51 Yeah, what they thought the end result would be would be that kind of success. We are so genius that if we put a bet, look at what we just did with Garoppolo. If we do it with somebody who's got the skill set, never mind, we don't know anything. Brock Pertie, nobody wanted him, Mr. A A relevant. Kyle Shanahan can do it with anybody. I want to ask you as we reinvent the measurements of the position and the industry itself doesn't know how to do the measurements. You know how confused all of us are going to be around this conversation because none of us actually know who's the game manager and who isn't? None of us actually know, because dolphins are gonna have to pay or not pay toa, and when it's not perfect for toa,
Starting point is 00:23:30 he doesn't end up looking like my homes, but when it's not perfect for my homes in the last two games, he doesn't end up looking like my homes either, like this shit's getting hard. I have an important update. Camden has at least three of these hats in different colors. He has a red one, an orange one, and a brown one with a reindeer on it. Oh, I got to see the reindeer one.
Starting point is 00:23:49 Yeah, it looks like the reindeer's eating lime. You just noticed this? Like, sometime like six weeks ago, we just stopped caring what the status of Jimmy Garoppolo's injury is. But it wasn't supposed to be this bad, was it? We just didn't bring ourselves to care. Don Lebertard! Again, started on the breakfast, Juan breakfast line. Oh man I've been singing a song to myself one morning while breakfast.
Starting point is 00:24:10 Long. Doon doon doon doon. Stu got you never heard the breakfast line song. No, anyway that. Okay. I wish I find a breakfast like that? This is the Dunlabel Tarshou with this two gods. Starg spread in the news, NFC and A, Offensive players of the week, in New York, New York, to Vito Hewals. Wilson making plays, the Mormon and Italian, in New York, New York. Zach Wilson soaking with a mom just to the tip. Tommy Doug Vito's the man. Forget about it
Starting point is 00:25:49 These offensive lines Protecting all day They'll actually get some passes off In old New York If they can make it there they'll make it anywhere. Oh! Jeremy made that in 10 minutes and it sounds like it. Oh, come on. I mean, that's good stuff for that. The Gabbagol I was good. The Gabbagol I was great.
Starting point is 00:26:39 He just made it. I like NFC and A personally, but I do have some questions about the middle. So can I pull back the curtain a little bit before We played it Mike says to Jeremy I Got to screen it first and I was like Jeremy's not gonna do anything objection What are you talking about and then he's got a line in there about soaking just the tip? Well, what was objectionable is that we aired it. It's Gabbagoo New York
Starting point is 00:27:09 New York That should have been the whole thing. If that was the whole thing. Hey Tony. I guess. How was Jeremy rising in the company? Because he shows initiative. And while you may want to take shots at the song and I can understand it, I will not
Starting point is 00:27:23 defend the merits of that song. You screened it and allowed it. Like you should have wasted my time with that. I've got too many things to ramble about. But it's timely. And we can't ever really play that one again. They can't all be winners, but if it's timely, he made it four minutes ago. You have to strike while the iron's hot right now when it comes to Tommy DeVito
Starting point is 00:27:46 There is never going to be another week where Tommy DeVito and Zach Wilson both win We have seen NSP's a week. Do not know that Michael. Tom and I we are in New York. Are any of us in New York? Any more of that? Jeremy is very eager. Less of that. No he's too eager no, he's great. He's here on a floating day We have people floating around and he's out there making stuff. That's good. Well you mentioned sitting
Starting point is 00:28:13 What what's funny about what he just mentioned a floating day? You hear what he said We got so many people were paying around the Jimmy's out there floating He's just floating but there was someone else floating and I did not think we could have a worse mustache in that seat But there's Tony. Oh hell no, I don't do it like that. What's that, that's good. New, yeah. But Tony was also floating today, and now he came in. I was not floating, Dan.
Starting point is 00:28:36 I came here, I thought I had. That's what I do. That's the difference. You see the difference, right? People are floating, I'm throwing a handle. Right, different story. Well, this, but funny though, while he was floating made a song while you're travel on though you just grow mustache i've had it though
Starting point is 00:28:49 got back go new york new york come around on the song isn't that the song Greg Cody was supposed to sing with perfect timing when we did grammar and and instead just came out and danced around and then forgot to get his cue. Yeah I'm trying to find that. Oh my god.
Starting point is 00:29:08 Alright, no I want to play that back for the audience. I don't know if Jeremy might know this. Oh while I look for that. It's time for... Oh yes! Good job! Hailed it. Dan, you know how this game's played. I was just belching because I needed surgery. Okay.
Starting point is 00:29:40 Don't worry, I actually been told that the guttural sounds that are coming from inside that disgust me and Roy when we're sitting in these seats with our headphones on aren't coming across on the podcast. They are on television now. On DKN. It's time for Against the Spread and it's brought to you by Draftking Sportsbook Use Code Dan when you sign up on the app for a limited time offer for new customers. Guys, this is the final week of this competition.
Starting point is 00:30:04 We hand out a grand prize next week, depending on these results. I thought we were doing that Monday at our watch party. No, but the thing is, everybody did well last week, and we were all bunched up last week. So, the grand prize will be handed out next week, and it's guys massive. We secured something, and I think everyone's going to be really, really happy about as soon as I think about it. So, Dan, we've all established a U-Route on this game. You're just putting up style points at this point. Bring it up the rear. You lead us off on against the spread!
Starting point is 00:30:41 But what if I wanted to do something else? It's not what I wanted to be doing. I wanted to be playing the Greg Cody sound. We'll get to it. Provided that you give me enough time, but you're filibustering right now. I am because I haven't had enough time because I've been managing our company. I haven't had quite enough time to look up something here
Starting point is 00:31:00 so that I can get more against the spread. I have a handle over here. I, yo, I, I'm out of hand. That's a boy, Dano. Now you get it. I have, I found the great Cody clip and I can't get to it with you doing this. With music running over each other. Can you just, okay, I will give you a pick, but I'm telling you on the front end.
Starting point is 00:31:18 I have not looked at anything. I don't know anything. I haven't talked to anybody. I, I don't know how to do this. So I will just simply... Oh my God, that's bad. Against the spread, I will take whoever it is that's playing out West tonight in basketball. All of them? At home.
Starting point is 00:31:35 It's the weirdest way anyone's ever made a bet. Gosh, you know what? At home. I'm making the ruling, you're done. You're cut off. Wow. You're out of here. Zero effort put into that.
Starting point is 00:31:44 At the throw a handle just so lazy I told you you did you did look at this spread a crazy day Mike Mike. It's been a crazy day. I gave you time Okay, so it's you did you did Mike you started today by yelling in a mean to say something bad to you He couldn't say I'm mad up to here. All right a mean yes. Yes. Your turn on against a spread. I guess it's bad. Lakers, one and a half point favorites on the road. At San Antonio, who have lost 17 games in a row, make it 18 the night, boys and girls.
Starting point is 00:32:15 They've lost 70 games with the greatest basketball player ever, incredible. Amazing how that was. Why is that spread so small? I don't know. I, the, the, the post in season tournament. Let down, hang over. Let don't know. I the the post in season tournament champion changlover. Yeah, that's a big letdown spot for them. I'm gonna go over in commanders and Rams again. Charlotte. My turn. Yeah. You know, damn, I'm not okay. You
Starting point is 00:32:43 know, I don't know anything and I didn't know I haven't know damn I said you don't know okay, you know I'm back off. No damn I don't know anything and I didn't know I haven't talked anybody I don't know what that's how I feel just on a daily basis so I'm gonna take the Sixers against the pistons another team that can't win a game to save their lives again I got the bread what's the spread What's the matter Jeremy doesn't matter here because I really wanted to make sure I didn't miss my opportunity at the prize by not Participating this all right. We're skipping Jeremy, but you're not a pony Tony you're up now
Starting point is 00:33:14 This is actually a huge controversy because Billy had to go and do God bless football He is presently the leader by one and he is allowing Tony to pick against the spread. I didn't do that right. I got a good one. I got a good one. My proxy. Huge one here, but Tony, you can win it all for the rest of us. Or lose it. Thank you, Michael. I've got a, and with John McKay used to call a cockfighting, going to the
Starting point is 00:33:40 great sport of UFC led by a great people over there. I will be taking another great patriot Colby Covington and Leon Edwards to go over Yes, there is thank you There's so many great Patriots to choose from the new bit of talking while not into the microphone and not the most helpful I will go over four and a half rounds on that fight with Colby Covington and Leon Edwards I will go over four and a half rounds on that fight with Colby Coventon Leon Edwards Roger by against us, bro. It's brought to you by Avocado's from Mexico. New sponsor very excited to have it
Starting point is 00:34:14 Avocados from Mexico check their papers Brother the entire world is telling me not to do this and I know it brother They need a committee to decide this division's winner, but I'm going. I'm fitting it so dirty right now I'm taking it all the way to the dirtiest zone yeah Atlanta Falcons will beat the Carolina Panthers by three points I'm gonna take them dirty birds piece up a town down again I'm sticking with Tommy Cole cuts plus six giants over there. Good. Good. Good. Good.
Starting point is 00:34:49 Good. All right, great job. Everybody except for Dan and Jeremy. Can I have the show back, please? Thank you. Greg Cody, when we did a very uncomfortable, the first time we'd ever done anything like this, a live show in front of 3,000 people or 2,000 people, whatever it was. Greg Cody let us off. All he had to do was we got to New York. He had to come out on stage singing
Starting point is 00:35:11 a song. Yeah, but the grandma's he does that whole 3,000. Keep getting bigger in my mind. It was a wonderful night. A million people's hanging from the refters. There were I become Trump right in front of your eyes. There're the biggest crowd biggest inauguration ever now. We're talking The quote was split Greg Cody had to run out on stage. We practiced it. We never practice anything It's longest rehearsal in the history of show. But is this the only time we've ever practiced? skipped is there anything we've ever practiced before? We practiced and he was supposed to just come out and sing his song and he ran right past the microphone
Starting point is 00:35:49 and just enjoyed the applause of thousands of people. Ladies and gentlemen. Yes. Actually, no, not yes. It's just gentlemen because this is an unrelenting ocean of sausage. I. Chenthalman, I present to you Greg Coden. Woo! Woo! Woo! Woo! Woo! Woo! Woo! Woo! That's not bad. Wow.
Starting point is 00:36:30 Wow! You screwed it up, you guys. You all screwed it up. Let's do it again. We do this like seven times. Yeah, you screwed it up. We do it again. We do it again.
Starting point is 00:36:38 We do it again. We do it again. Let's do it again. You can't do it. We'll keep putting. You were taking the praise. You got caught it. Let's do the praise. He got caught in. Let's go back and do it again.
Starting point is 00:36:47 Well, we rehearsed. We did it like seven times today. He got it wrong. We were telling you to make your game tonight. Like, uh, go. Do it again. Don't walk for my day. Ladies and gentlemen, just gentlemen.
Starting point is 00:37:01 Rick Cote. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Whoa. Whoa. Yeah. That's insane. Rick Cody! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Oh! That's insane, so... The song is yours!
Starting point is 00:37:11 Start spreading the news! It's unbelievable! The video was amazing, by the way. We didn't get to show that, but him walking out and just hurt the jacket. Basking, basking in that audience. We should tell video to staple that at some point to what it is we're doing here so that people can see it.
Starting point is 00:37:31 I want to do useless sound. It doesn't appear to be that we have enough time for that anymore. It's been a crowded show. It's been a weird show. Jeremy, I salute you for trying, but try better. I tried really hard. I was out there writing with the crew of producers
Starting point is 00:37:48 that we have sitting at the table. Wait a minute, that had... That soaking line was not mine. Oh, deflecting, wow, blaming it. Wait a minute, I was working. That had a workforce behind it. It had me in Thomas. Who's that?
Starting point is 00:38:02 I mean, name and name. Don't drag Thomas. Name and name. You know what, Thomas, I'm sorry. I'll take full responsibility. I was that mean. Name a name. Don't drag Thomas. You know what? Thomas, I'm sorry. I'll take full responsibility. I know it wasn't good. Holy canole.
Starting point is 00:38:10 How do you snitch and then take it back? It's on me, man. You know what? This is not in my best. You're like an airy. I mean, come on out, Thomas. Now, you know what? Thomas, wherever in the camera, I don't know, man, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:38:24 I haven't had a three-time, it's come on, I'm not bad for him. Oh no, big show. It's my fault. I ruined everything. No. This is already a weird show. Thomas, come on, Thomas.
Starting point is 00:38:34 I love you, Thomas. Thomas, come on in here. Just Thomas, I love you. Let's see who's fault this was. Let's see, Taylor's been dying for this shine. He'll take it under any circumstances. Thomas, just come on in here so we can all look at you and see who it is that made that shit Just garbage. It was just one line
Starting point is 00:39:02 Everyone's deflecting away from the song.
