Now's a good time to remember where Tequila's story truly began.
In 1795, Cuervo invented Tequila.
Cuervo.
What are you doing here?
Cuervo.
Anytime someone says Cuervo, I show up.
Well, I do know that to be true, but even during ad reads, like...
Cuervo.
I think he could lay out, especially for one of our great partners.
Sweet, delicious Cuervo.
Since then, Cuervo has stayed true to its roots.
The same family, the same land, the same passion. Cuervo. So, enjoy the Tequila that started it all. Cuervo has stayed true to its roots. The same family, the same land, the same passion. Cuervo. So enjoy the tequila that started it all.

Powering possibilities. This is the Dan Lebatard Show with the StuGots Podcast.
So if you've listened to The Local Hour, The Big Sui and and hour one you have now heard two complete interviews on the Dan LeBattard
Show with Stu gots with the then
reality TV show star and
real estate mogul
Donald Trump now we are moving on to an interview from May 27th
2015 which means this was just 20 days before Donald Trump would announce
his first run for the presidency of the United States.
MSNBC's Pablo Torre was sitting in with Dan and Stu Gotz that day, which makes this
all the funnier, as Dan and Stu grill Donald Trump about Deflategate because of his friendship with Tom Brady and
quote terrific person Bob Kraft and Bill Belichick.
Why Tom Brady should have sued the NFL?
He also detailed being billions of dollars in, which surely wouldn't be an issue for
a guy running for president, right?
Who was he in debt to?
Surely it couldn't be the folks in Moscow that he was talking about in the local hour,
right?
That tie doesn't matter.
But no joke, we're 20 days from that declaration that he'd run for president and Stu Gotts
asked him if he would.
And this is the first time maybe anyone would hear the phrase.
I will make this country great again.
It is so wild to listen to what Trump has to say in this interview about China and more
specifically Mexico and America's relationship with Mexico
considering where we are now 10 years later with mass deportation and the
jailing of immigrants in a place called Alligator Alcatraz in the middle of the
Everglades where the response is
yeah you know if migrants escape and they get eaten by wildlife isn't that
kind of the point and there's so much in here that will really blow your mind
considering where things went what what a weird 4th of July this is huh anyway
here's here's the final interview
on the Dan LeBattard Show with Stu Gotts with President Donald Trump 20 days before he would
announce his first run for the presidency. And Chris Cody, I have to thank you once again
for putting me in this position to not only have to listen to all of these interviews and
me in this position to not only have to listen to all of these interviews and swallow the reality of what they were, but to guide our audience through it.
Thank you so much, Chris.
This has just been the time of my life, exactly how I wanted to spend my Fourth of July.
Alright folks, here's the final interview.
And hopefully I'll never have to listen to any of this again.
Jeremy, you know something about me, right?
You know when I'm grilling outside and it's summertime,
you know how I supplement my summertime?
Of course I do.
I make it Miller time.
Of course.
That beautiful white can.
Oh, when it's so hot outside,
I just put it right to my forehead, right there.
And I just roll it sometimes, right on the forehead,
cool my body down, and then I crack it open,
in some relief, and then that first sip,
brother, does that first sip?
That is a top five sequence of events
that you can possibly go through.
I'm just serenity now when I just imagine
that first sip of Miller Lite.
Just thinking about it's making me happy.
Dude, the sun is out, it's nice,
you have your friends showing up,
you got your family there,
you just had your first sip of Miller Lite,
and you know what?

Howdy folks, it's Mike Ryan NASCAR is back in Chicago and it's not just out of track
No, no, they're racing through the actual streets of downtown. I've been there for this race
It is a great race.
Beautiful skyscrapers, Lakefront Grand Park, July 5th and 6th.
Feels like America.
It's a NASCAR Cup Series and the Xfinity Series, which was a great race last year, tearing
it up in the Windy City.
We're talking 40 drivers, Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin, my favorite, Kyle Larson, flying through
the street course like you've never seen it before.
It's part race, part music festival, all adrenaline.
Chicago turns into one massive summer block party with horsepower.
Want in?
Head to NASCARCHICAGO.COM right now and grab those tickets.
Watch the Xfinity Series July 5th at 4.30pm Eastern on the CW, then the Cubs Series July
6th at 2pm Eastern on TNT Sports and streaming on Max.
This isn't just a race, it's a whole vibe.
Alright Trump, thank you as always for joining us.
I want to get to some truths here with you, if I may.
Pablo Torre in with us all show today.
Is it true that Donald Trump has never in his life used an ATM?
Well I haven't used too many of them, but I do love the concept.
And you know, we're going to have to be a little bit careful.
A lot of money is being taken out
of different forms of computerization.
I think someday we're going to have to go back to the old days,
you know, the old way.
But no, I'm not big on them, but I have used them, yes.
How often does someone try to steal Donald Trump's identity?
That must happen all the time, right?
You are probably the subject of identity theft all the time I'm hearing it does we deal with it
harshly like you guys would deal with it we deal with it very very harshly but
it's happening to me and it happens to many people how many times a week no
doubt about how many times a week does that happen to Donald Trump well I'm not
sure about a week but it does. There's no question about it
Donald Trump with us here on ESPN radio. Who is your best famous friend like among your famous friends? I'm giving you the opportunity you've waited for all your life here Trump to just name-drop all of your friends
And so I'm wondering who is your best of your famous friends? You know what people don't know about me
I have a lot of friends. I have a lot of good friends and uh... that's not my image but i actually have people that
do like me which is a little hard to believe
well i have a lot of people in the sports world bob craft is a friend coach
bellichek is a friend tom brady is a friend and by the way tom brady is a
great guy
and uh... i hope that all works out of the hope it works out well and soon but
tom brady is a global and so i don't experience if these are your best
friends how did you experience the flight date
like if if brady i did experience it and i go along with tom and you know a lot
of people questioning whether or not they were actually measured properly and
there's a lot of different things can go on but i can only tell you this tom
brady is an honorable guy is an honest guy and he's a really good guy
i play golf with tom brady and if he played
this i've won a lot of club championships over the years i can tell
you if he played he would be a phenomenal he played more
he would be he's got tremendous golf talent i'm sure you're not surprised to
hear that because
you know it's great at one of the time you got to know you tell someone's a
great golfer i don't care whether he's a great golfer or not.
I do, I do Donald, I do.
Is Gadel a friend?
I know him well, I like him a lot.
He's had a rough year, there's no question about it, but I think he's a terrific person.
He's a very good man.
Good golfer?
I don't know him as a golfer.
Oh wow, Donald Trump, finally we've cornered Donald Trump. But I'm just curious, as you've
seen Deflategate play out in the press, I'm curious if you're friends with Belichick and
Bob Kraft, like Bob Kraft, that was a hugely humbling thing that he had to experience where
he goes from the NFL is going to owe me an apology soon to never mind, I'm going to run
away with my tails between my legs.
Well, I was surprised that he did it and personally I would have never done it
in a million years I would not have done what he did. I was very surprised that he
took the punishment without an appeal. I think you're always better off appealing
because if you appeal you're gonna get something out of it that even if it's
not much you're gonna get something so there must have been tremendous pressure
I mean I know bob well and
he's a terrific person and uh... he's got a he's been a great team owner if
you think about it with
you know not too much uh... drama he's just taking that team and they've done a
great job for many years now
it helps when you have bellacheck and it helps when you have brady but he's been
a very good team or i was very surprised
when he didn't take an appeal actually
trump you mean not much drama outside of the giant cheating scandals
well though there's a scandal going now but i'm saying up to this point
certainly there hasn't been for somebody that's been at the top of the heap for
so long i think there's been very little drama now this is
you know cause a little bit of drama and they've had a couple of things with
has been some drama but
if you think about it they've done really well
lots of super bowl lots of everything else they've been in lots of super
balls at two super bowls that could have been one
they could add five
but uh... you know i i think there's been a lack of drama for
for somebody that's been in that position which i give a lot of credit
for i think bob craft has been a great honor
donald i'm curious is there a and have it is there a story of somebody from
sports asking you for advice and you recall a notable piece of advice you
gave to somebody
in the world of athletics
well i get it all the time i mean you talk about the flake a day talk about
those folks and uh... you know frankly i think tom brady should see the nfl for two hundred and fifty million dollars in settle for
nothing and you know get out of this thing but you know i can but i get it
all the time i get a lot of people now what he Johnson of the jet is a terrific
guy to friend of mine and and the case family are friends of mine and i have a
lot of friends in sports uh... fred will ponder the sign for the fact i know
more on the role you have a lot of great in sports uh... fred will ponder the sign brenton fact i know more on the role
you have a lot of great people in sports i just got back
from the united states golf association with jack nicklaus is a good friend of
mine
was being honored you know who's better than jacket
the world of golf and you know that from
from anything but
they just donated or just just opened a wing
uh... to jack nicklaus a wing of the museum to Jack Nicklaus
and he really deserves it.
So, you know, I have so many friends in sports.
People in sports are amazing people, they're great people.
Hold on a second, what did you suggest?
You said Tom Brady should sue for $250 million?
No, I'm not saying I suggest it.
I say I think I would have sued the NFL.
I would have gotten myself a really nice lawyer.
I would have called Trump and said, give me a good lawyer. And I would have if do the nfl i would have gotten myself a really nice lawyer that i would have called trump and said give me a good lawyer
and uh... i would have if i were tom because you know they have a
situation that even though whether the balls were inflated properly not
inflated nobody knows i mean the referees really blew it you want to know
the truth
but i would say that i would sue the nfl for a tremendous amount of money and
probably somewhere down the line you'll settle i think tom is the kind of guy
that would like to see it
over with he wants to get back to winning super bowls
and he's a fantastic guy it is a fantastic water back so i understand
that do i think i would have taken a different i would have brought a lawsuit
against the nfl for about two hundred fifty million right out of curiosity
we take a couple of minutes as a giver take a couple of it what is the last
time donald Trump found himself in a in a position where he simply did not have?
Cash to pay for something where you were in a place and you forgot your wallet or you just simply didn't you couldn't pay for something?
Well, I mean I could tell you years ago when the market crashed
I was in deep trouble of friends of mine and then enemies of mine also were going bankrupt i never did
but i i i had billions and billions of dollars that i was in deep trouble and i
fought it out
and uh... now my company's much bigger much stronger than ever before but i had
you know many people in the real estate industry and a lot of other industries
are going out of business and
i thought like hell you learn a lot about yourself in bad times i will tell you that you know you learn if you can take it or not but
it's like sports I mean sports is amazing because it's sort of a mini
version of life and you would just watch and you just see that but I owed
billions of dollars explain to us that explain to us going to bed at night
knowing hey I'm gonna wake up in the morning billions of dollars in the hole
like what is that what does that one feel?
Well, see, I view it differently.
The banks have problems.
That's what I say to myself, okay?
I say, boy, do those banks have problems.
Now, somebody else with the wrong attitude would say,
maybe they have a problem.
But I view it as the people that have the money
maybe have a problem.
So, and I say that a little bit laughingly
and a little sarcastically,
but it worked out amazingly well. And know many many people you know that a
many many people went out of business i mean there was a terrible recession
uh... five six seven years ago there was a terrible recession in the early
nineties in the early nineties was brutal
and i came out
very strong and this last one it was the opposite it was
it i was so strong
going into the dead i loved it because i but a lot of stuff you know just what
the great turnberry
of scotland the numbers which is one of the great places that's where they have
been the open championship
i bought the rail
in miami hundreds of acres of land right in the middle of miami and
uh... but that about four years ago and we did it and it's now
just about the number one resort in the middle of Miami and I bought that about four years ago and redid it and it's now just about the number one resort in the country and you know it's
called Trump National derail so we have a lot of fun with this stuff I'm
building a hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue right opposite the White House force the
old post office building best location in Washington DC and I have a lot of
fun but people do they call me they want advice for different things and I like
to give it to them if I like themald do me a favor break news right here on this show on the sbn radio don't
wait till june are you running for are you running for office are you running
for president looking at it very seriously fellows about the way you guys
have a great show that's why i'm doing it but i i think you have a great show i
watch a lot
but i am thinking about it very very seriously and uh... the country's in
trouble with being left that by everybody china's taking our jobs, they're taking our
manufacturing, they're loaning us the money, they're taking our money, and then they loan it back to us. We owe China now
1.3 trillion dollars. Can you believe trillion?
1.3 trillion dollars.
Mexico is not our friend. Mexico is doing a number on us, not only at the border, but they're doing a number
economically. They're taking our jobs like crazy crazy for just announced a two and a half billion
dollar plant in Mexico I am looking at it very seriously and I'll be announcing
in June and I think a lot of people are going to be very very surprised one
thing I will tell you if I decide to do it and if I win I will make this country
great again because our country is run by people that don't have a clue and our country really i mean it's run by politicians and a
politician and i've said it for a long time nobody knows him better than me
they're all talk they're no action and this country's in trouble our country is
in trouble so wait we're not friends with mexico are moving on here's lisa
lambert i think and the reason is that people are outsmarting our people.
Here's...
Oh, look, Mexico's fine.
But their people are outsmarting our people at every cross.
This might damage your presidential campaign, this comment from Lisa Lampanelli.
Donald, tonight people will make fun of your looks.
F*** them.
You've always gotten beautiful women.
You've ruined more models models lives than bulimia
you've disappointed more women than sex in the city to that from the comedy
central roast uh...
your only that lead to a great use of the ad you know she was on the
apprentice that you did a great job but he was terrific
what kind of common is that are you not going to work in a city was that you
know the show has been such a big success the apprentice and celebrity apprentice but it's been such
a tremendous success and and uh... you know who would have thought this was
going to happen to me right
so i have a show and you know there's been fifteen copies of the apprentice
fifteen
and he many of your friends have copied of people that you know very well in the
world of sports it copied it and every one of them have failed and failed badly and so you know I'm just honored
by the great success of that show but now I'm on to something you know NBC
wants very much to renew it they've already announced we're renewing it as
soon as Donald is ready but I told them I have something that I'm doing that's
very important even important even important to you guys all right but
we've got to go, unfortunately.
We don't have time to hear about that right now.
That's OK.
Thank you.
Thank you for watching our show, Donald.
Thank you, Donald.
Thank you.
Keep the show going.
It's terrific.
Hey, friends, it's Jerobar here.
And I'm here to tell you all about Boost Mobile, which
is now a legit nationwide 5G network.
So I must take a break from the jokes here for a second and
put on my serious voice.
Because I would never ever joke about a 5G network that has invested billions building
5G towers across the country.
Not even once.
Not even if Mr. Boost Mobile himself asked me to.
There is nothing funny about it. Boost Mobile is now a legit nationwide
5G network and also provides coverage across 99% of America. Seriously. Visit BoostMobile.com
or your nearest Boost Mobile store location to learn more. The Boost Mobile network, together
with our roaming partners, covers 99% of the US population. 5G speeds not available in
all areas.
