Greg Cody fled the premises shouting about invasion of privacy. He was legitimately mad. I know a lot of people here think that everything's an act around here and it can be hard to tell what's real and what's not real. I know my friend's anger. I know what it looks like. Chris Cody knows what his father's anger looks like. That's as hot as he's ever been around here. The pressure is getting to him. It's understandable, is it not? Why Billy are you putting your head in your hands on this?

Where did that picture come from? Not the tiger one. Where did the hospital one come from? I don't know where Juju gets stuff. He's got pictures of all of us. I don't know where he gets all of it. But in the hospital, if Greg doesn't want that, how did that even get out?

I don't know, but he was screaming about invasion of privacy, and it's what pissed him off this weekend as well. I did not know, I don't know where Juju finds, I mean, hasn't Juju found 100 photos of us that none of us know where they come from? He's very good at social media, that's why he does social media

and he's not trying to piss Greg Cody off. I didn't think it would piss Greg Cody off. In fact, I thought Juju, like every weekend, is great on social media. Don't put that up. He is asked that that no longer go out he doesn't find it funny, but I Have found generally frustrating that I want to have some fun with certain things like pictures of Greg Cody at Mardi Gras

Chris, what's your father been like all weekend? He's trying to act like he doesn't feel the pressure of how this all kind of falls on him.

He's trying to play like, ah, no one actually, it's a few wackos on the extremes, everyone, no one really is, he's trying to avoid blame for this. And I think deep down, and I think we saw it in the outbursts, it is getting to him and he is gonna feel the pressure for this. Regular season games at the beginning where all of it felt like it was spent right here until you got to the very end and then the very end San Antonio sweeps them on the floor and everyone's just sort of relieved like thank God that's over. I don't want to

live on that roller coaster anymore. This blew out Kevin Durant and Golden State. Next thing you know, Draymond Green's punching everybody. You can't live in this space for years and years. Well, that's why that LeBron era feels so much longer than it actually was. If you look back, in terms of percentage of his career, thank God it was his prime, but we didn't get a huge chunk of his career. is the only time I've ever been kinda like this, you've been right there next to me. Whether it be like one season where there was a fragile Miami hurricane team that took a number one, they would have been number one if they lost that last game, but no one ever thought that they were actually a championship good. The Heat, I was crazed.

I was Matthew McConaughey. I was Russ Cole. I was out there. I was lost. I was trying to convince myself through some very dark lyrics that everything was going to be alright. Mike, I'm going to guess, having done no research whatsoever, that in the history of hockey, there has never been a Stanley Cup final winner that has been outscored 18 to five in games four through six. You do understand, I think everyone listening to this understands that there is less of a connection that this country has to hockey at least in

part because we like to know that the human beings that we're watching on television though they're superhuman we have some connections points to and whether it's you'll get or don't change or hockey players from another country when all of the players are foreigners they're going to be some Difficulties getting an American audience to connect where human beings connect on stories and simple things, but tonight. It's just about sports It's just about aren't sports great. You've got possible history You've got a player on the other side that is being talked about as the best player ever and Tony

I know that you I know that you have some thoughts on how shitty it feels to be on the wrong side of history So I've always I've always wanted to see somebody come back from 3o right like we were talking about it I think in the Mavs versus Minnesota series where was like hey We need to see some history here. And now that I'm getting it, I feel bad because of my comrades that, you know, are obviously very excited and very happy about this team. But I would like to see something happen that nobody's ever seen before since 1942

is basically nobody's ever seen it. But that's what a lot of people are gonna be gathered around the television set tonight with a bit of what's this all about? your mainlining, games with stakes, after a month, there's just one. The entire sport lends itself on bent knee to watching these two teams do the greatest thing that exists in sports, which is all or nothing. Tonight, one night, we're gonna decide it. I think that it is random.

It is lotto time. It is, we are watching tonight and anything. Well, one team's got a lot more tickets, Dan. They're not underdogs on the road for game seven. They are loosey goosey and they are playing well. And while you think, and I think you're right, most would side with you, and you came up through sports in a time where there were very few teams in this market, you manufactured allegiances to other teams

that were available on TV, and by the time you were a grown man, you were working in the thing, and the storylines were what attracted you to the sport in general. For me, this is the worst of sports. I feel terrible. I'm envious of how the Tampa Bay Lightning fans are just sitting back and ready to drink tears. This is horrible. The part that's weird to me, Mike,

is you're envious of Edmonton. You're envious of the vibes Edmonton's coming in here with. So loose. So loose. So confident. But imagine if the roles were reversed, right? Edmonton's coming in here. But where that penalty kill is great is stopping the thing that Barkov brought to the table. Those entry rushes, we're not doing it well.

And when we do have a lane, we're stick handling into our own guys, we're turning it over and it's a fast break the other way. And right now they're clicking in a way that if they get a quality chance, they are putting it away 100% of the time. I don't think we have an answer for those zone entries. I haven't seen a good zone entry out of this team on a consistent basis in three

games. That's the key to everything. They need a greasy one to go up 1-0 so they can play their game and feel comfortable. That's what we need. That first goal Dan, everything changes. they were in a 3-0 hole. I don't know what to tell you, man. I don't see a path to victory here. I don't see if I'm going off of vibes and what I've seen from around practice and how guys are answering questions, and I understand, you're taking this hard, you're losing, you're not gonna be super chipper,

but I don't have signs of encouragement, signs to make me believe they're gonna come out on that ice and give me the Florida Panthers effort that I thought I was gonna see their game six. And I hope they're listening to me, and I hope they get deeply offended, like, how how dare you you've seen this team all year long I don't recognize that Florida Panther team and tonight I'd like to.
