Look at what nobody drags Philadelphia

and Philadelphia like that. Do it in the post season. That's fine, but they would have last year if they had a quarterback, if McCaffrey wasn't playing quarterback. Right. They've done it quite a bit in the post season. And you know what, they make it to the NFC championship game. They make it to a Super Bowl. They never finish it off. Finish it off. Okay. So do it in the Super Bowl

and finish it off and finish it off. Alright. Yeah. Okay. I think I'm talking off a little bit. A little bit impressive team nonetheless. We saw it yesterday. They're healthy. Holy shit. They're going to be hard to beat by anybody. But to me, the most encouraging thing about what the dolphins have that is meant to echo that because San Francisco has been a step away with Garoppolo. He can't play as a sustainable business model when you've got the Schemer who can produce 45 points. And he's got some sort of cheat code because a Chan now, I think now this is cheating because they scored seventy against denver but when he's out there there five hundred yards of game and forty points of game on average because what they have a sustainable because where

And now he leads the league in touchdowns, but who's second, most are, and he's not the special one on this offense. No. Like that, that parts crazy. You're built like San Francisco. You got San Francisco East now and what the dolphins are.

And now you're competing at the top of the brain power of the sport Well, I've got good news for for dolphins fans because I think what you're presently seeing is You are turning into Kansas City where you had the young cheap quarterback put up big numbers because he had great skill set and As you mentioned Kansas City has won two Super Bowls that way. What you're seeing with Kansas City today in the last two weeks, which has really been the story of the season with Kansas City is those receivers are not making plays. And while Patrick Mahomes still remains the best quarterback in the league from a talent perspective, he needs some

skill help. And hopefully for the Miami Dolphins, you get to the point where you're going to have to overpay to a and you may also have to say goodbye to Tyree Kill down the line the way that the Kansas City Chiefs were, but that's a good model to find, especially for this franchise, that's dying at a shot at a Super Bowl. It is, but I do feel like for the dolphins to make it to the Super Bowl, they need to have the one C, they need to have home field advantage. Like, I'm more confident that my homes can go on the road and win a couple of playoffs games. You don't get to be tapped the breaks today. I'm saying that right now, as of today, the top seed in December is the Miami Dolphins

and that they've won all the games against easy teams and that you doubt them, doesn't much matter to me because I imagine that what would happen to Miami against San Francisco being healthy is what just happened to Philadelphia. That's okay, but I also think the dolphins can beat anybody and I certainly think that it went to playoff games and then take their chances against hoping that San Francisco's hurt. See the dolphins and their fans have gotten too comfortable already with their success that we're going into the conversation of can we compete against these good teams.

I don't want to do that yet. We can have that conversation when we get to the playoffs. Let's just celebrate the teams that were better than now. We are now in a space. I am watching football games, and I'm like, this cold tightens game is so sad. I was them for 20 years.

I was watching the ESPN College football selection show, which I know you'll talk about. That happened later in the show, but I honestly missed all of the highlights from the, did they even show it on Red Zone? Like, I think this game was over so quickly that I must have just missed all I think the main talking point is a fan got a religious exemption for his flanagan scuffle what we need to talk about I did see that what fan was able to bring

in a flanagan's cup and apparently it was because he was given a religious exemption according to the tweet what does that mean mean, you know if you're from here. It's the challenge. Yeah. Yeah. The cup and challenge. That is, it is the most golden cup we have. We should absolutely have some sort of flanigan cup trophy for some great prize one around here because it is the great, it's bigger. Put it on the pole, Jude.

And the merch store is where my brother's art resides.

The merch store was never meant to be anything other than at Disney. They had their brackets for where producers could get and whatnot. And they wouldn't allow me to keep paying people with my own money. I on the ball. And so we had to invent a different way to monetize what the producers were making around

here because they'd been pushed down into files, into brackets. You needed to create a revenue stream to give more money to the producers. It's that simple. So I made no money off of this ever. Never wanted to be in the business. Wrote a bunch of checks for a bunch of employees.

Never wanted to be doing any of those kinds of things. Like don't like math, business makes me mad. And I know poison when I see it and money is poison and the way people get around it is poison. So we tried to split it up as West we could among everybody and now it resides here the company. We owned it. That was the beginning of the end for us at Disney. Once we negotiated our own like my brother's own ability to make art and merge, like that's the first conflict we had that ruined one mosque down here, because I was trying to throw parties with my brother that celebrated art and music and sports being fun.

And so my brother had a merch store, his best friend, my best friend, you know, bedside for the last year with my brother. And what he wants from me with something he birth because he never thought I trafficked in this lane enough. Dan, no, go make money. Who cares if you're a f**k and sell out? Who cares? Put your art on boat. You get to make a living this way. Do this second would get away from us. No, no, here, but here's, this is why a man don't like this strikes an emotional cord for me. It's not just merch.

It's not just merch. And so we debuted last week and Samson's handling this for us. He's handling the merch store for us. And I've avoided social media because it's been poison for a while now. And I've just been trying to get Angel Resto the ability to immediately make things live off of the show so people can enjoy remembering that moment. And we opened and Angel calls me hurt.

He's hurt because this thing, he's caretaking my brother spirit He's caretaking my brother's art and that's what I've entrusted Samson with That's the merch store the merch store is not just another merch store And so when I hear our customers are complaining to me that we're priced like everybody else. I'm like are you kidding me? Are you kidding me like we're following everybody else. I'm like, are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? Like we're following everybody else's model? Now? Now that we got to free them, we're going to do it the way everyone else does it. And so, Samson comes in and I haven't talked about this part with him because he's doing his best. He cares about me. He's doing his best. Like this person loves me.

He does, yes. And he's doing his best to do this. And we debut and all I'm hearing is complaints because we're in business now and we're selling art. So David, what happened? Well, what happened is that you ruined my weekend by communicating with me nonstop at all hours of the day and night because you were upset

that your fans were upset about prices, your fans were upset about the selection, your fans were upset about prices, your fans were upset about the selection, your fans were upset. Angel was upset because there weren't enough of his designs on people in the shipping container were upset because of the split and how it was going to happen, both financially and from an art standpoint. And you downloaded on me all of the problems. And you didn't take into account of what I had to deal with to just get the merch store up

because you built a company that is full of nothing but people who stop things from getting done. And most things don't get done at all. So you basically ruined my weekend. And I really, and then you asked me to be on the show this morning when I had a different appointment and I promised you I would cancel my appointment. So I'm here. What is it that is bothering you other than the emotion of me not taking care of everybody properly? No, it's because I want to figure out a way to make it so that everyone can be happy

around the money because our audience is always giving money to the causes around us. Anytime we ask them for money, it's meaningful. It's not like just, hey, give us $7 for something. The chief complaint that bothered me was how expensive things were. You just did a deal with Max where you could end up behind a paywall for the same hour that is free on YouTube. And you're talking to me about you don't care about money. When you, when I know exactly how much money, metal arc and you are making, but no, no, a $40 shirt is now too much. It's not me.

I've put other people in charge of the business side of this. That's why I need you to clean this shit up. Yeah, but I did clean it up. Yeah, you put David Samsung in charge of the business. Right. And now you're upset with what David Samsung did with the power. All this is what he does. $10 shirts. Great. No. The prices are exactly where they should be. Should your stuff be more expensive than my stuff? Yes, you've got more fans. You've got a bigger audience. It's time to take advantage of that audience and monetize it. Supply the

man. He decks out of your pocket. Why not let the customer write the checks so you can make more money? Dan, listen to David Samson. It is time to take advantage of our audience. What we're talking about here is the $40 t-shirts, right? They're $40. Is that what the... Well, she and the people complain on Twitter. being in charge of the merch store was a bit until I just asked Mike Rhyde, and he was like, no, this is actually real. He is, he is, he is. He's really doing, he is. One thing that confused me is, I know that we prioritize, I was involved with the last merch store

that had plenty of options, but the customer service wasn't up to snuff, the quality of the shirts wasn't up to snuff. And I think from still images, people have made a snap judgment on the quality of the shirts. When I know that that was a priority, which is probably helping explain the price point, but I'm not gonna speak for David,

David spoke for David Plenty here. Well, are there any upcoming pivots for the merch stores this one? No, no, we're not doing it that way. What do you mean, are there upcoming pivots? We're not doing it that way. I never, you're surprised in getting mad at a man who sold Roy Halliday's no hit ball.

Okay, well, okay, because I'm not good at this part and neither are you, Stu Gontz, because you want all of the money So Samson help me bridge this divide because it's why they say don't work with your friends Don't do business with your friends. Are you an idiot? Lebitard doing business with your friends again? I will tell you I can't have our customer base that supports us most loyal Most loyal David than any customer base. It's how we build the way we do. It's because they listen for more hours than anybody.

No matter what Spotify does to junk up the numbers. And they deserve, like, they deserve it to be cheaper than everybody else. Don't tell me Bart still does this and Rogan does this. Like, I haven't talked to you about the specifics of how much this bothers me spiritually, because we, like, I keep getting told, you don't mix these two things,

creatives can't do these things. And this is why, because you guys all f***** up. So let me address two things that Dan, you need to change about yourself. Number one, the fact that you let business bleed into our relationship this weekend is extremely problematic because this price points in the merch store is the tip of the iceberg with what needs to change at Metal Arc that I want to be a part of and do that you've charged me to do.

We've only just begun, Karen Carpenter. So if you don't have the stomach, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, you may have a problem with everything else. Not the price down, David, like seriously, knock the price down. Mike, you put him in charge, Dad. Thirty-seven bucks. Can we revisit the cut that the shipping container is unhappy about? Because this is the first time hearing about this. Well, so listen to this part.

You really are. Calm down. Dan, I would like to point out that one of the biggest mistakes you made in forming metal arc is you paid people for things that, for revenue that did not exist. The merch store revenue wasn't there, but you were paying everyone, as though they were getting a piece of something that was Fagazi. And now what we've done is that nobody gets a piece of anything but you, and by the way, for you and how high

and mighty you are about, oh, it's all about the audience, you demanded it that way. You wanted to make sure that nobody got paid anything except you wanted me to take the blame for it. What do you mean? I mean, be to do it. What do you mean? My decision. No, what I'm happy to do it, Dan. Okay, we can argue about that. But, but Deans, okay, with the whole thing being a TV commercial, that's what we're all doing. We're all selling sports. This is what it is. What it is. I mean, I'm a, you know who really messed it up, and it really good.

But you know who messed it up is Washington. They messed it up because that's not a huge market in their end. You got, you got during Michigan, Texas, Alabama, Washington, and they can play. God, they're good. I mean, they can flat out play. They got a quarterback that's out of this world of defense is coming.

This is this is make particular. I can't wait to see how it plays out, but leaving out a Florida state as well as a Georgia. My God, that's why I'm thankful. It's increased next year. Because that seemed like it wouldn't be a lot of fun. Now, it was tough. The reason it was tough, because I'm a Dernabunner. I'm a winner. So that's tough with losing games, not only losing games, we got our butts kicked twice. Now, the rest of the games, we were in it

within six to seven to eight points of victory that we were right there. You talk about a team that won one game prior that was in it for 10 games that could have possibly won, but we didn't know how to win. We didn't have those eight to 10 players that we need to get us over to hump. But guess what today is is portal day. He loves it. It's portal day.

That's why I have 10 portal. He's portal day. He gets mad. He's a kid. He's a portal. He's a portal. I am in the portal like, like, yeah, I'm not hooked. You don't know how to put it. You get sort of fun. I'm not even. I can't just man.

And I can't say what I want to say because it's offensive. But if you do your homework on what we lost, then we really need that. He's losing who he wants to lose. You weren't good enough. Now, you got to understand. You guys talking us because you say we lost this and lost it.

Quarterback, they losing tremendous pieces of their puzzle. We hadn't. And as far as coaches, man, I want all my coaches to elevate and get an opportunity and get to the next level.

So one of my mentors, one of my guys that I get to shoot a commercial with every year is Coach Saven. When I'm shooting a commercial, I'm throwing questions at him 100 miles an hour

and he's hitting him right back to me. I mean, like Barry Barnes and I love it. And it's not a season that he does not lose coaches. And he's giving me the wisdom on that. So I love it. These guys are elevate, man. That's what you want. You want impact to be an institution

where people want to glean from you. I love that. But as far as the kids, man, that's part of the game. Do you like the business of it or is it too dirty? It's not too dirty. I just want to play with what you play with. If you got a big marble, I want a big marble. You know, if you, you got a swing set,

I want to be pushed to in the swing set. I don't want you to have the competitive advantage and finances, and I don't, I don't like that part. I don't want it to be NASCAR. I want it to be college football, and I love all the attributes of it. I love college football, man, I do it the attributes of it. I love college football man I do it. I love and I love what I do

It's not a day that I wake up and bolder call around of that. I don't want to get in there and go get it And I'm getting a father my kids at the same during time. I'm the happiest man alive, man All right, Deion. What is the most challenging thing about coaching your son? Nothing really cuz they're pretty good. Yeah, they are pretty good your son. Nothing really because they're pretty good. Yeah, they are pretty good. Both my kids are pretty very good. And then my son that does all the video work in YouTube stuff, you guys YouTube. He's phenomenal. He's he's one of the best in the game. So he's protecting the business as well. He is really honestly one of the best business men of my time. Perhaps Herschel Walker. That would be a great, where is he? Game show. So everyone's mad in a scenario where it's inevitable stugots because it's not about measuring

the best. It's a concoction. It's the last four, but it's not about measuring the best. It is about make a television show. And if make the argument around why the television show measures who and who isn't best, but let's just get the ratings. Let's just make sure that we get everybody. It's a made for television spectacle.

It is not pure. I would actually like to applaud the committee I don't care what it is. It was entertaining and I think we got the final four That we wanted we got the best four teams were the best or the most entertaining teams in the country Dan The best for television so I want to applaud the committee because for years We have been railing against all the last two undefeated teams, they play each other in national championship. You know what the committee said, not this year. That team, while undefeated, while in a power five, while winning two or three road games and, you know, conference championship games with their backup quarterback and their

third string quarterback, they're not good enough. These teams are better. And I applaud them because I do believe the four teams they put in are better than Florida. All so best for television. And it can be both. I don't know if that's true, Stugats, if they are, like it depends how you rate these things. And I think their argument was that Florida State without Jordan Travis is a different team than Florida State with Jordan Travis. And that was their excuse for letting them go. I don't really think it came down to ACC being a second tier league or whatever.

Although I think that they're never going to leave out in SEC. There was never going to be a playoff without at least one SEC team. I could even have seen them putting in Georgia and Alabama. And I was stunned. But is it because of the strength of the conference or is it because those are obviously, if it's Alabama, Georgia, you know you've got Georgia getting unceremoniously dropped after the run they just had like that's offensive. What just happened? It should be noted for Georgia 29 game win streak back to back raining defending national

champions and they lose by three seasons. Don't carry over me. I mean, I understand, but there's something to be said for not as Alabama get in the night. That's the whole. Hold on. I'm gonna I'm gonna I understand, but there's something to be said for not. Because how does that all bamba get in the nutty? That's the whole. Hold on, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna just totally take you apart right now because you say they have the best four teams in there. Do you, do you think really that if we're putting the four best teams in there, George is not one of the four best teams? No, I don't.

Well, that's convenient. I don't. But I think anybody would say George is one of the best four teams in the nation. Except a committee of people at a lot of people. A lot of people, but is, is, is to of the best four teams in the nation. Except a committee of people at a job. It is to decide this. They said, no, it's just awfully convenient to apply the logic towards Alabama. They they're one of the four best teams in the nation.

We that's what this college football play is about. It's one of the worst Bama teams in like a decade. I mean, if you're going to apply that logic, then George should be there too. There's it was a hard decision. One one school multiple schools were going gonna be pissed off by it. There's really no great answer to it, but generally, I think most people are like su gots. Happy that they get to see Alabama
