Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to Giraffe King's Network. As a big-time CEO, I demand to be the smartest person in the room, which is why I never let Wittenden-Luglin employment lawyers in my office. Because they make employees smarter by putting them in control of their options for workplace harassment, discrimination, and wrongful dismissal. And as someone who condones all those things, being constantly outsmarted would leave no rooms for me to be in. Witten and Lublin employment moeers.
Starting point is 00:00:37 Bad bosses hate us, employees love us. This is the Dunlabel Tarsh with the StugatSpotcast! [♪ INTRO MUSIC PLAYING [♪ Skeleton crew down here in Miami today. I just made a fat joke of myself. What are we doing here? You like it? No idea. There's four of us here. The entire rest of the company is out in California. Aguina Ikebizarohad. That's true.
Starting point is 00:01:10 That's just, let's say what's obvious. What? Nobody wants to work? He didn't say it like that. No, he said it better, actually. I've been, so we recorded God Bless Football for a Monday episode a little while ago, right before this. We got a really early to do the Monday God bless football.
Starting point is 00:01:25 Yes, we did. And I have had a difficult time trying to balance not recycling takes from that show to this show. Sure. And this week, it's even harder. Well, last week I wasn't here because of jury to put this week, it's even harder because I'm here. I feel like I'm expected to talk more than when I'm there and when I'm there, it's easy
Starting point is 00:01:44 because I just am like you know what? There's a thousand people here. I can just take it easy. You can just appear Go hug this one. Yeah, not not disappear But like I feel like I don't need to have as many things to talk about So then I was having difficulty deciding on what I wanted to share on God bless football thoughts wise Right, and what I wanted to save for this and I save stuff for this. Okay. Well, what'd you say? I don't like the dolphin stand I'm becoming. Why? Are you getting spoiled? Are you expecting them to win now and you get like mad when they own? I'll say this before a lot of perspective before Billy gets to it. I will say this. I have
Starting point is 00:02:17 no idea who's good. What's happening in the NFL? And it seems to be the case every single year. Last year dolphins were the best last week, the dolphins were the best team in the NFL. This week, they lose the Eagles. Last week, I said, the Lions were the best team in the NFC, they get blown up on the map. I have no idea what to expect week to week. Zero, anyway. Well, I think usually you take what a team did last week
Starting point is 00:02:40 and you're like, they're gonna do that again next week. Right. But I think the way it works is the opposite of that. Like the Eagles last week, you're like, oh, they lost the jets. Right. Okay, dolphins are coming in there, better than the jets. This is an easy one. Yes.
Starting point is 00:02:52 You gotta just, you gotta, you gotta, you gotta, you gotta, you gotta, zag. When your mind says, zig, you gotta, zag. Except the chiefs. Somehow Patrick Mahomes just always ends up being six and one. Right. Five and one. Every year, it's like, they had a bad,
Starting point is 00:03:02 about, he's, oh no, wait, there's six and one, oh, okay. Well, this has, this has nothing to do with my expectations of the game or how I thought the dolphins were gonna do. five and one every year. It's like they had a bad about these Oh no wait, there's six and one. Oh, okay. Well, this has nothing to do with my expectations of the game or how I thought the dolphins were going to do. I actually thought that they did an okay job. Okay. I thought they had a better game against the Eagles than they had against the bills, but you can listen to that on Godless football.
Starting point is 00:03:16 That's not what I say. I mean, 17, 17 second half they had a chance to win a game, a big game on the road. They didn't get it done, but they were in the game in the second half. Chris score on offense in the second half. Chris, I was telling you two guys, I don't want to be the referee person. I don't want to be the official person. I'll do it. We got screwed last year. This is what I didn't want to do though. That a boy. Yeah. I mean, it was that discrepancy. That's just not fair. There was clearly three to four, you know what? I'm going to call it four to five. Wow.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Wow. I think that's a big step. One from three to five. It's almost a little mid sentence. It's a big one. I'm just thinking of them in my head. Yeah. And it's just, it was nonsense. You have the exact calls. Uh, the Cedric Wilson was bad. The face mask. The face mask. The face mask was bad. Uh, yeah, there are other ones. Okay. Well, they had a touchdown called back on a hold where it was, it was like a, you know, he had a, you know, you can let that, let him play sometime. I mean, Chris had three to four that went to five to six that he
Starting point is 00:04:13 can only recall one, but I'm trying to let everyone get their shots off here. I don't want to just say all of them. I'm going to let Tony go a little. Oh, I see one ever to bring their own. There was one on the brotherly shove that they called offensive offsideside Nobody was off sides. It was just Kelsey's other hand, which they called the penalties They thought it was like the guards hand. Yeah, yeah, barely Kelsey's hands allowed to be up there right no other hand Right the only penalty they called on them was wrong, okay? Bullshit would happen last night. I'm not saying it would have changed the result Right, look the dolphins went into a tough environment, five and two. I am still thrilled with how this season's going.
Starting point is 00:04:48 I'm not going to go flying off the handle here, but to say that their officials didn't play a factor in last night's game, I don't think you can do that. Okay. If anything, I would say, I think you could feel better about that, right, is that if you think that the dolphins were robbed by the officials, you're like, well, you know, they could hang with the Eagles, but they didn't hang with the Eagles. They did. I mean, it is a bad luck just to,
Starting point is 00:05:12 I'm with Billy that as much as I feel the things that I just said the stuff about the ref, but I instantly regret it because you don't want to be that team. Oh, well, that leads me to why I don't like the fan that I've become. Okay. Because I have a friend who's a fan of the Eagles, right? And I was texting some foul things.
Starting point is 00:05:30 I was talking about how smug I think Nick Sireon. He looks, Nick Sireon it looks very smug. He's saying that. I don't even know if smug the word, but his face is something. And here's the thing, right, that I say like on the front end where I say Nick Sireon he looks so smug where he's there and he's doing his things and he does this whole thing with his face. Look at the ref from the last time I said something about
Starting point is 00:05:49 someone's face, it went very poorly for me. It was like, let's do billboards, a chat shout, I was like, I'm never gonna talk about anyone's face again. And I was saying, God, this Nick Syriani looks so smug where he was there and he was gonna punty. You think the Dolphs have a chance to get right back into it then calls the time out and then goes for it and then they get in and his smug looks that he's doing the entire time.
Starting point is 00:06:07 And again, I was saying this to my friend Allison, who's an Eagles fan. I was saying, you know what, I understand Mike McDaniel's a Dolphin's coach. So I cannot be the person saying this coach looks smug because Mike McDaniel, we can agree. He is smug. Looks a little. A little sometimes a little too cool for school. I'm not going to say smug. Let's just say little sometimes a little too cool for school. I'm not going to say smug. Let's just say sometimes looks a little too cool for school. Okay.
Starting point is 00:06:28 Seriani though. So I was calling. Seriani. He put that on the list. His mic, McDaniel, look too cool for school. Sometimes. Sometimes. Okay. Then on games like yesterday where he's losing, he looks like he looks better when he wins. Yes. A hundred percent. Looks better when he win. I also have you notice that for day games, he wears those sunglasses that I assume are prescription sunglasses that he wears. Right. You know what I'm talking about? At nighttime, he has to take a big ray band,
Starting point is 00:06:51 they're like two tones, and then at night, he's just wearing his sunglasses. Like a fighter pilot glasses. Kind of, yeah. But I don't think he'd be eligible to fly a fighter jet. Yeah. You know, it's like very... What grounds, what do you mean by that?
Starting point is 00:07:03 Well, as vision, you can't. Yeah, like if you have like, I think if you wear glasses, you can't fly a jet. Yeah. No. You know, it's like very, What grounds, what do you mean by that? Well, as vision, you can't. Yeah, like if you have like, I think if you wear glasses, you can't fly a jet. But you can just get laceric. No. So you can't get laceric that have naturally perfect.
Starting point is 00:07:12 No, look it up. It's very hard to fly a fighter jet. Ah, they all look it up. No, it's true. Actually, look it up. I am interested. Like if you have glass. Okay, I mean, I'll look it up.
Starting point is 00:07:20 No, it is. It's really, it's really hard. Like any little thing, it's like, nah, sorry, you can't fly this. And it makes sense, because those jets are like $50 million each. You should have a lot.
Starting point is 00:07:28 You should have a lot of vision. You have to be absolutely perfect in every sense of the word, or you can't fly the plane. Makes sense. Yeah. I think at one point, I'm looking for like the meanest thing that I said.
Starting point is 00:07:37 So I have said on the record, and I know that last week, or the week before we had a clip of David Samson going after Philly's fans, and like went, like somewhat viral, like people were like like Philly's fans were really bothered by this clip and watching they were all commenting on it. And I was saying, I'm having a hard time rooting against the Philly's, right? And I know you're wondering why are we talking about this for a time by the dogs game.
Starting point is 00:07:59 That's okay. I'm having a hard time rooting against the Philly's. Philly connection. Billy. Lazy River. Chris gets it. Okay. Lazy River. Chris gets it. Okay. Lazy River. So we are left to our own devices. We're the only four left to this company. Everyone else is in LA. Yeah. Okay. Lazy River. Have fun. Also, um, speaking of lazy river on Air Force dot com. Not a website. That's really the internet force dot com. Hold on. That's
Starting point is 00:08:19 not the qualifications here. I've got the qualifications for being an Air Force pilot on Air Force dot com. Yeah. Knowledge and theory of flight, air navigation, meteorology, flying directives, aircraft, operating procedures, and mission tactics. Number two, completion of Air Force specialized undergraduate pilot training, another training that you need to do, additional requirements specific to specificity, which seems vague. So nothing about vision. Nothing about vision must be in the wrong place.
Starting point is 00:08:45 Must be training between the ages of 20 of 18 to 33. I'm seeing that, yes, although Air Force pilot eyesight requirements are more complex. Thank you. It's saying, though, but you can have glasses. As long as you have a certain standard of eyesight, you can. Why are you saying thank you? Thank you.
Starting point is 00:09:01 As long as you can see, you can become a fighter pilot. So I started typing, can you be a fighter pilot and then Google was auto filling and it said with glasses and it says Air Force pilot vision requirements. Can you be a fighter pilot with glasses? Yes, although Air Force pilot eyesight requirements are more complex. So I'm going to check that up. Is that on Air Force.com? It's now. It says normal color vision. I don't know what that means. 2030 near sighted vision without correction and then it just stops. So I'm not going to keep clicking. I'm looking at that.
Starting point is 00:09:28 Anyways, so I was saying that I am, I don't want to root against the Phillies, basically because every other team is boring and I don't want the actors to win again and all this stuff, right? So I was like the Phillies fans have been great blah blah. Eagles fans though, and I realized there was the exact same people. Oh God, no, I was so over it yesterday. At one point, I told my friend to his an eagles fan, Allison. I said, I hope the earth swallows up Philadelphia.
Starting point is 00:09:50 I don't even know what that means. A little aggressive. I don't know what it means. I don't know how the earth would swallow up a city, but I was hoping that it happened. If it happened, you'd feel bad pretty instantly. You would, yes, yes. What your friend Allison had to respond to that? He was saying the dolphins were worse. I hate the uniforms. They're the worst things horrendous. The throwbacks are terrible. As soon as I saw the Kelly Green last night, I was like, we're screwed.
Starting point is 00:10:13 The greens are so good. I hate them. The color of the helmet was incredible. Colts look cool yesterday. Those helmets are lame. What? The Colts ones? No. The Eagles ones. Lame helmets. What's your problem? What's your problem with the Eagles helmets? The the wing is not defined. What do you mean? The wings not? It's just a great wing. I need the I need the tracing of the feathers. I need to see
Starting point is 00:10:33 the actual wing. If not, I don't know what it is. It looks like a peninsula. To open until it's on every. Yeah. Can we talk about the touch push? Do you want to say that for later? No, I think Billy's right. I think Jaylin hurts is a one trick pony.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Can you be kidding me? Keep a street face. It's all they do. It's all they do. It's unstoppable. It's like they're third and seven and they aim for fourth and short. Right. They don't try to get the first down on the down. They're like, let's make sure to get fourth and one here. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:58 They did that in the red zone. It was a third and seven or third and eight at the 10 yard line or something. And then they just ran it. And they got like two yards. It was like, what are they doing? Why don't they just do that the entire way of the field exactly what I told you I said just have the play the entire game I go just have every game and it's one drive They should troll like America one drive Why did why do people want it banned like why did they say it's not because they suck at it?
Starting point is 00:11:23 No because it's cheating to like how to hold on. How is it cheating? Because it's legal within the rules. It feels like cheating when you're pushing your quarter back. It's getting help. It's the same reason why a field goal kick, you can't push, you know, you can't push people and live. I can't leverage right? I can't lift you up on a, like when we just need miles, that would be sick on a field goal block. If you could like get together and do like cheerleading style cat and but that's a good example of why people have have issues with it. Imagine if you could lift someone up and have them try
Starting point is 00:11:52 The thing is you can't the block of field goal. They can try it other teams can try it It's not like oh, you know what the only team that can do it is Philly nobody else can try it right everybody can do it If you just suck at it It's like just sucking at running the ball or throwing the ball like Like if you have a back quarterback, that's your fault. Not mine. I am confused as strategy to try to stop it. You have Javon Hall and like jumping up as if it's like a guy. It's like, no, you gotta get behind the defa,
Starting point is 00:12:14 like there should be linebackers pushing the offense alignment. Like I'm confused why the defense is aren't using the same strategy they're using. Cause it's just, they're getting out numbered. It's like they're all lined up single file and they're getting bulldozed. I should have had for Kelsey in that situation. Why? Because he's at the bottom of the pile.
Starting point is 00:12:31 Yeah, but he lives for that. He lives to be at the bottom of a pile. What do you mean? Dear line is so good. And to son reddick, oh my god, is a monster. Why are we running at him? The whole first act. It didn't make any of it.
Starting point is 00:12:41 It was like, hey, there's their best defender. Let's get it right out. Maybe that is the strategy. Sometimes you go right out of guy. But it was not yesterday. I know they tried to have crack back blocks. They tried to like bring in a tight end or something to stop a song. Right? I think it was just going around every. Well, guys, I think the Dolphitch strategy is we could run the football at anyone against anyone. I mean, they didn't show it like that. But going into the game, that's
Starting point is 00:13:01 what they were thinking. Now streaming on Paramount Plus. Hey baby, I hear the blues You call in, toss salads, That's scrambled eggs. Y'all know how this goes. And maybe I seem a bit confused. Yeah, maybe. But I got you picked.
Starting point is 00:13:17 Ha-ha-ha. But I don't know what to do With those toss salads and scrambles. They. Kelsey Grammer returns in Frazier. Life's calling again. New series now streaming on Paramount Plus. Don Lebertard, Greg Cody of The Miami Herald is writing an article, and I'm reading in it, Moss Miami, sold out.
Starting point is 00:13:39 Miami artist, Miami culture, and I'm reading Moss Miami's sold out. And I'm reading about digital podcast network, and I'm reading about digital podcast network and I'm reading about us And I'm like this is our dreams coming true through gods a thousand people come out and we see the shipping container on They're on a stage and they're like rock stars you and me both had tears in our eyes We're like mom and dad of sentiment and it's hard to get you to sentiment man That was a very emotional moment for us to see those guys I'm telling you guys You are on stage did and I were both crying are you guys aware of this crying? Yeah, like crocodile tears we believe crocodile tears are fake
Starting point is 00:14:16 I thought they meant big DCC down lebertar show with this to got I do feel like there is a question to be asked about the Dolphin's offense traveling. We've seen how it looks at the home. I mean, obviously the competition has been, like, the Eagles and Bills. Maybe that's just it and it's not being on the road. But the offense hasn't looked good on the road against these good defenses, which obviously it's going to be tougher against good defenses, but I don't know. I just want a little more production.
Starting point is 00:14:45 I think this is the first time the dolphins have played a defensive line to the, to the status of the Philadelphia Eagles, right? The bills had a good defensive line and look what happened to them scored 20 points. Dolphins scored 20. Yes. Right. If it weren't for that pick six last night, the Dolphins scored 10 points. It should be noted that dolphins were missing three starting offense lineman.
Starting point is 00:15:03 Sure. Connor Williams and Terran, and Armstead are just just difference making and then win got her to like like first or second play of the game. I like I made such a dumb Homer bet last night. If I didn't even pay it. I didn't do the is Connor playing is Teran playing like even Howard not playing was just so clear in hindsight. That this the dolphins like was most of your bets are armed with information. I just think we're forget about my stuff. Suck it. Behind site, the dolphins were under man last night. They didn't play well and they were missing.
Starting point is 00:15:30 You could argue five of their top eight guys. Right. And Waddle got hurt. Yeah, I mean, it's like tough spot. Connor Williams being out too was tough because you saw what happened when I can bird got into center. I can work was ranked 39 of 39. Balls all over the plate. Love those PFF one low one high. What's the side?
Starting point is 00:15:46 All the Eagles players four of the five Eagles offense alignment top 10 PFF offense line. Crazy. Yeah, that's what that's what I was seeing. And I was like this team is ridiculous. Yeah, they're getting Johnson. It's a little for Saxons like 2000. And then last night Phillips got one on him.
Starting point is 00:16:00 He did. And then you looked at the dolphins. PFF rankings and they sure is all like 19 23. And I was like, not good. Are we just realizing the Eagles are good? They went to the Super Bowl last year. It's just the line play. What do you mean, eh.
Starting point is 00:16:12 I don't know, I just made a sense. Oh, okay. I'm trying to keep things moving. It's just we don't know how to quantify like offensive line play. So you look at the Eagles and you're like, wow, they have a great unit. Right.
Starting point is 00:16:21 They can do the brotherly shove. And then everybody else is like, I don't really know. Do the Pittsburgh Steelers have an all good offensive line? I don't know. I have no idea. I have no idea of any team. The A of some of the offensive line. I don't know. I have no idea. But Chris does have a right to be concerned. I think dolphin fans should be concerned. No, they didn't score an offensive point in the second half. They're not, they're clearly not as good on the road as they are at home. And they haven't beaten a really good team in
Starting point is 00:16:44 the NFL yet. They just haven aren't home and they haven't beaten a really good team in the NFL yet. They just haven't like Billy. They haven't. Chargers aren't good. What's their record? No, I agree. I think that's the only debate. I mean, Chaelin Rams is still hasn't played for the dolphins.
Starting point is 00:16:55 And that's going to be a difference when he's on the defense. Agreed. Checking out the chargers. What there? They're two and four. Two and four. Two and four. I mean, at the time they played play then it felt like a great victory. The dolphins are banged up like H and his out and he's
Starting point is 00:17:09 a giant difference maker on the offense. They have linemen that are out like there. It's just about what are they going to look like late in the air. I think everybody knows when the dolphins have enough of their pieces, they're going to be one of the top end teams. It's just going to be like, how does this all shake out? It's not when we come on here, people want to know like tell me exactly how things are going to work out. Right. The dolphins are going to be in the mix, but you see, no, they're definitely in the mix. You do wonder if the dolphin, if they don't have home field advantage in the playoffs, if the dolphins can make it to a super bowl. That's a fair thing to be thinking right now for your dolphin. But you would
Starting point is 00:17:39 think that about most NFL team. Yeah. Sorry. I'm not panicking. I'm not panicking. Yes, it is. I don't know why you want us to panic and freak out about this team, Stegas. I don't know. I'm only supporting Chris here in his concern about the dolphins offense on the road. It is a vastly different offense at home. It is on the road. I have a question for you. So the next road game technically is the Jets, even though they have a game against the Chiefs in Germany in between. They have the Patriots. By the way, that's not a road. 9.30 a.m. start for that game. I hate it.
Starting point is 00:18:07 Okay. I don't. Not us. Make a Viennese who Germans the Germans. Yeah. Have the games somewhere. I don't know what time 10 a.m. or whatever we over there where we can get like a night game over here.
Starting point is 00:18:17 I don't know what the math is, but they want the games to stand out. Like, you know what I mean? They don't want Germany to just be in the one o'clock slate. No, but have it have it be the night game then and then started early started at 2 a.m. German in Germany. It's at the time. I don't know I'm sorry. I mean, it's like six. I don't think it's us.
Starting point is 00:18:31 It could be news. Them it's our game. It's our sport. Yeah, right. I know. I know. I'm kind of with you get your own sport.
Starting point is 00:18:38 Get there. You want football 2 30 in the morning. Here it is. But you know the players, but you know the players have to play it at tooth. Like this is not just about the fan. Ah, players, players. Oh, if they, if they leave the day before and just keep the body clock is the same, right? Another difference. So it's unfair to the players to have them playing at 2 30 in the morning. How about it? So I'm for the players to send them to Germany for no reason. That's for what? What are you getting out of this? Wait a second, but two 30 in the morning in Germany is what time here?
Starting point is 00:19:05 APM. APM. Okay. We're back. Body cloth. I'm assuming that Germany's the same time zone is London. I know London six. I don't think it is.
Starting point is 00:19:13 I don't know about that. Let's look down. I just know you're up generally soccer games six ahead. That's just where I live my life. Where? In America. There's different times as an American too. So you know that, right?
Starting point is 00:19:27 Wait, so you like the 930 gig, Dolphin shoes? I do. I don't mind a Sunday. What do I get one game in? That game feels too big for a 930 gig. Exactly. Why are we complaining about that game? Shouldn't be in Germany. It's sort of, we're gonna be 100%
Starting point is 00:19:39 that game should not be in Germany. I don't think I don't know why he said that. I don't think people expected the dolphins to be this good. Like they're like, they scheduled it this year. It's not like this is scheduled five years in advance. They knew this is going to be a good game. They knew this is going to be a Tyree Kill revenge game. What are we doing?
Starting point is 00:19:55 Why is that game in Germany? Because it's the first game in Germany. And the chair is about to be. Right now it's 3.22 right now in Germany, 3.22 PM. Chris is very, I did not know his loyalty. He's pro German. That was actually a weird one. Funny thing is, is I was at an out October fest.
Starting point is 00:20:09 Right. Oh, that's what he was. That's what he was. Oh, that's what he was. Oh, that's what he was. Yeah. They're like, hey, you know what, night 30, you have bad, not bad.
Starting point is 00:20:17 When in Germany, yeah. Wait a minute, it's three o'clock in Germany right now. Yeah, 3 PM. So you could play this, you could play this game at one o'clock and it's still like six or seven past, but I'm trying to tell you, right? Because they're not trying to put the Germany games with all the other one o'clock. I want them to stand out. They want everyone to be like watch this. So no one on the West. I can safely tell you no matter where you put that game. That's the game I'm watching that week. Hey, guess what? By the way, just
Starting point is 00:20:40 because you have two games in Germany a year doesn't mean that the NFL is going to be a thing in Germany. So let's just give up on that right now. You want to go to Germany, NFL, whoever it is, decide to go on vacation in Germany. Why do you have to take the whole NFL place? You're going to Germany. Just pay for a trip to Germany. Chris is average. That Dell makes like 50 million dollars a year.
Starting point is 00:20:55 He can't just go pay to go to Germany. It's just going to Germany. It just makes sense. Imagine how they're not even going to that game. How they're doing it makes perfect sense. It doesn't make any sense. They can play it. They can show in LA because you want to go to the play. They get to play at a normal.
Starting point is 00:21:08 So now I'm sitting down now. I made it. That's huge. Huge. Yeah. I got fluffy too. Who's fluffy? What are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:21:16 What? We're talking about in LA. Fluffy. There's just an example. It was in specific to anything. Right. But they got a comedian. Fluffy.
Starting point is 00:21:24 Yeah. Dan did a selfie session with you don't know fluffy. No popular comedian Chris Doesn't know his name either, which is why he hasn't studied it glaciers. Yeah, he really glaces fluffy iglaces old game So you went to October fest Yeah, I did and I had so why you so broke Germany this morning. I Got there, it's weird And I had so why you so broke Germany this morning. I got here weird. Okay guys, you know what? There's some nice people over there. Crushed a few bruise had a brat worst. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:21:52 I'm not and then I had to go to the toilet and I had an experience. What? Oh my god. Classic. It's never an outdoor festival bathroom time out. Never. It's a lot to overfest. You had some beers or brought you went to a public bathroom, which is always a dangerous game. Always. And then I actually had an october fest. And then I, so I'm sitting down. I'm squatting. I'm not even on the scene. It had to be a portapod, right? It was not a portapod
Starting point is 00:22:13 is one of these like man-made like like a trailer. There was like a trailer with like four stalls. Right. The walls way too high up. Yes. And I sit down at the only available one. And there's a guy next to me. I usually try to look for one that's got some secludedness.
Starting point is 00:22:29 And I got a foot, I got a sanded foot, what do you mean? Breaking into my territory, I got a picture of it. Oh, there it is! That's a picture of it. What else? I want that guy's toe. I don't know, man.
Starting point is 00:22:40 Is that your dad? That's my second toe is curved. This is just not what you want to see when you're trying to enjoy a nice two more water on that perished relax nice release. Yeah. Wait, so his book got into your space. I mean, look, if you look, that's past the line.
Starting point is 00:22:53 That's a weird foot. It is better. It should be the actual line. And I could see him being comfortable when I'm not there. But once I enter, you got to move that foot in. Right. What if he was just really battling, dude, and he had to like really get a wide stand to make sure that he was he was okay to release that guy might have been having the
Starting point is 00:23:08 fight of his life in that bathroom and he was talking about him like, you know what? Tony, I do like the idea of there being an actual line. Yeah. Okay. Offside. Take a look at the water. Right. If your book goes over the line, Chris. That is like whatever you watch on it. Fraction. Is that the center? Say it though, guy? Is that the guard's foot or the center's foot? It's like the offside, it's in a room official. Oh, flying on the boat. Hey, I would toilet paper.
Starting point is 00:23:31 Sandal guy, mine is five yards, coming back this way. His second tell is quite curled. That's what I'm saying. It's sideways. Any well. Yeah, so what happened? So that was my weekend. Okay.
Starting point is 00:23:41 You just went to October fest. You went to the bathroom? I went to the bathroom. Where was the October fest? It was up north. It was You just went to October fest, you went to the bathroom? I went to the bathroom. Where was the October fest? It was up north. It was like in like Lake Worth. Damn. Jesus Lake Worth.
Starting point is 00:23:49 Look, it was like 50 minutes. You're playing there? Yeah. It's like 50 minutes north of me. There's north of you. Yeah. Or land though. Actually right by my house.
Starting point is 00:23:57 It was a little back yard. Little East is two guys. Wait, so did you say anything to the guy? No. What are you going to say? I just took a picture of his foot and put it up. Exactly. I just put it out of my house. I mean, I just took a picture of it and put it on a popular podcast. That's right. Did you hover? Did I just break a law right there?
Starting point is 00:24:12 Yeah, probably. I didn't get his permission. Hover technique. Yeah, I was hovering. And I had to pay and I had the I put because it was gross. Like I put like, of course, it will pay for down because I'll throw about I famously make someone it's got to be really dear like I'm not someone who like is like saying it like I I don't think my ass needs like you know everyone thinks they need to clean these toilets like I'm just like Hey, if it looks fine, I'll sit and this your very ass kind of guy yeah normally But this one was so bad and gross that I hovered I put toilet paper down like I'm one that
Starting point is 00:24:44 Generally if I look at it and looks fine you'll just right down right but this one was like bad and gross that I hovered, I put toilet paper down like I'm one that generally if I look at it and it looks fine, I'll just sit right there. But this one was like I need toilet paper and I'm hovering. Which means it was so terrible. None of us would actually have gone to the bathroom in that bathroom. I'm telling you, you felt like I did you would have. It was not one of these ones where I'm like, I could hold it. What was it? Why did you have to go to the bathroom?
Starting point is 00:24:59 I think it was the brats. Yeah. Oh, it went from one brats to brats. I might have finished my daughters, the dad tax. Put that on the pole, what's in the brats? Just that, just what's in the brats? Can I ask you a question? When you guys have beer,
Starting point is 00:25:17 you just need to go to the bathroom right away because I do, whatever. I'll have like a beer, I'll start drinking a beer, I need to pee like nobody's gonna keep the seal. Sometimes you'll close. Sometimes number two also. No, you have to keep the seal on the ground. Sometimes I'm like, ooh. I'll start drinking a beer. I need to pee like nobody's I'll keep the seal sometimes you'll close sometimes number two also now you have to keep Sometimes I'm like, ooh, I got it. I got to get going. No, but the seal closed is important. Keep it closed as long as possible. Exactly. For me, it's usually like three or four beer. Out of boy. No. All hundred percent to guy.
Starting point is 00:25:37 Yeah. Inside will explode. No, you got to hold on as tight as you can. Three to four beers is that. No, and then you go to the bathroom and then at that, once you open the seal, it's a floodgate. A call back to mystery crate, the funniest part of being at October fest, a lady and a husband came out to me and they were like, hey Kyle. Wow. That was a call back for people.
Starting point is 00:25:55 You can check mystery crate. I told a story about calling my wife Kyle. No, you call him. No, you call him. That's a call turn. That's a spoil idea. Yeah, but I didn't listen to mystery crate. And that's why I know.
Starting point is 00:26:04 I'm sorry, I was busy. I know you're always locked. We were talking, turn. Yeah, but I didn't listen to mystery great. And that's why I'm sorry. I was busy. I know you're always locked. We were talking, we were talking, we were talking, you said we put out too much content. Yeah, but you're on a, you're on a plane. You could listen to them on the plane. We were talking pet names. We were talking pet names.
Starting point is 00:26:13 Do you and your wife have a pet name? Like what do you call your wife? Like when you guys really, hey, honey. Abby. Yeah. Honey, honey, honey, honey, honey. Okay. Nice.
Starting point is 00:26:21 H.O.W.N. I short hold sports. That's an old, old pet name. Right. Yeah. You have a an old, cool pet name. Right. Yeah. You have a pet name, Billy? No. As soon as beer touches my lips, I need to, it's just like, I don't even know where all the lilies are.
Starting point is 00:26:31 Like you should just drink at a urinal, basically. Yeah. As soon as it's just like that. The air falls. It's crazy. It's crazy. And then if I go to a stop, forget about it. I'm never leaving.
Starting point is 00:26:41 Is that so? Yeah. He just said they're all day. It's the truth. You're weird. Q the next song and load up on Tim's loaded bowls packed with hearty ingredients for a satisfying meal. Our fourth flavors hit the right notes.

Starting point is 00:27:37 Can't cheer that type of stuff. Tom Brady went down with a Achilles, the only time he got hurt in his entire career, and I was fist-pumped in my living room at home because the chance finally had a chance to win a division. I mean, I'm sorry. I'm not gonna apologize for that. I'm sorry. I'm not going to apologize for that is one of the most amazing sentences you've ever uttered. Still got from the maker of trust me. Don't trust me. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to apologize. but I'm not going to apologize. You are amazing. You are a flower gas.
Starting point is 00:28:10 Delight. You happen upon G is comedy by accident. That's my gift. DCC down. Libertar show with this two cats. Sorry about that. Are you curious? That's I didn't. I didn't.
Starting point is 00:28:24 You're excited. I didn't. You're excited. I didn't know we were on the I am excited. One day's are. Right. Monday's are long ones. Yeah. The jet's had a big week. By not playing.
Starting point is 00:28:32 Yeah. I've been pacing myself with my coffee and I don't know that it's a very good strategy. What do you mean by pacing yourself? Well, so I made coffee before I left the house this morning and I knew that today was going to kind of like take a while and I knew that we were down and a bunch of people. Right. And we had Godless football early on and then I could be sitting here with you
Starting point is 00:28:47 and we have like, you know, another four hours that we're gonna do. So I said, you let me, we're just bailed on us. Let me pace myself with my coffee because I know I'm gonna need it later. Now I could just go and make new coffee, sure, right? But I didn't wanna have too much coffee,
Starting point is 00:29:02 so I was like, I'm gonna pace myself with my coffee. And now I have it in one of those cups that supposedly keeps the warm, but now I'm thinking, by the time I need it, it's gonna be cold. No doubt, yeah. Wait, but if I put ice in it, then I could just make it a cold brew. A cold brew. Maybe this does work out. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:29:16 I'm glad we're talking this out. Yeah, just talking it out. You're like, I'm talking it out. Yeah, well, I don't know how you guys are planning on getting through this day, but it's gonna be a long one for all of us. Long one. It has been even longer for the listener. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:30 It's a raw dog kind of guy though. What? What is that? Same. What does that mean? No coffee. No, no, no coffee. Really? Yeah, I just, I never have coffee in the morning.
Starting point is 00:29:38 I'm weird with coffee. I only drink double espresso. Like for me, I've always said, I just want to get straight to it. I do shots at the Kila. I don't want to have nine drinks when I could just have two shots at the Kila and I'm hammered, you know. And so I like to get straight to the sex is what I'm trying to say. And so a double espresso just boom, puts me right there.
Starting point is 00:29:55 Then I follow it up with another one a couple of hours later. Do you guys get resentment from your family for not drinking coffee in the morning? All the time. Like everyone in my family, my both my parents, both my inlaws, my wife, my sister-in-law, like, whenever we travel, they are just like, we wake up, I gotta get coffee. And I'm just like, I'm good.
Starting point is 00:30:13 And they like, I see, you're a tea guy though. I see you at the pastor for a tea guy. I do like something in the morning, but. So I bought myself a curig machine on sale recently, right? And I am now, that's why I'm making this coffee in the morning. And before I had an espresso machine,
Starting point is 00:30:29 I still have an espresso machine. And I would just make myself a little light-yavuz and I would do a little shot of it, right? Like a little Cuban coffee shot. But I felt like I was just kind of chugging it and not really enjoying it. So I thought, you know what? I'd like to enjoy a cup of coffee
Starting point is 00:30:43 so I got myself the curing machine, right? And now I feel like I'm making myself this like donut shop coffee every morning just to justify this purchase. Because as soon as I bought it. Do you know what those are? I've seen that one. Yeah, it was a hundred.
Starting point is 00:30:56 It was a hundred five. A hundred five. It's $6 off. That's like 25,000 five. I got a hundred of them for like $34. It's like 30 cents a card. I know exactly what you're talking about. I'm hearing it's trash in my ear.
Starting point is 00:31:09 Well, that's Lewis. Lewis doesn't know anything. That's why he doesn't talk. I almost bought the other day, the pumpkin spice one that they sell for care. So only if you talk, you know something. Is that what you're making? You want Lewis to talk?
Starting point is 00:31:20 You want to lose the number, Mike? Fair point, but I'm sorry. I'm sorry. So I got the, I almost bought the pumpkin spice one and I almost bought pumpkin spice creamer to give to my wife. Wait, the huge one? Yeah. Well, it was like 30 something,
Starting point is 00:31:32 but I was like, I don't know if I can commit to this because my wife does not, she doesn't like the curig. I'm getting a private show in my ear from Lewis. She doesn't like the curig machine and I feel judged for using the curig. What I'm trying to do is do the curig in the morning and then the little like, yeah, they like Cuban coffee shot when I needed in the afternoon to keep it going. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:52 Interesting. It's not. I don't even know how we ended up here. I'm just trying to get brought it up. I mean, you know what I've actually been doing. So like last night, I found when I go to like, we got here Sunday nights, a lot of water. I start drinking a lot of water. Billy, I'm just telling you that for years, just drink water, dude.
Starting point is 00:32:08 No, but it keeps me up instead of the coffee, because the coffee won't let me sleep. I just drink water and I'm fine. Also, I was like, I try to do a lot of prep. I try to do extra prep because I get like concerned about how the Monday morning godless football show is going to go. Right. So like, I try to take notes on all the games that come in here and I have pronounce of all these things, highlights, color, color, coated things, all these stuff. Oh, Billy going to go. Right. So like I try to take notes on all the games I come in here and I have printouts of all these things highlights color code of things all these stuff.
Starting point is 00:32:26 Oh, Bill is game notes. Wow. Yeah. So I do. I every week I go and I print out a bunch of stuff. And it's really just called being a professional, which is not something that we normally do here. No, it's not notes like observations. It's literally just like just give us give us some examples.
Starting point is 00:32:40 Well, this one's actually a note. Ready? Right. Who can accua is back? Okay. Reception's a hundred fifty four yards. Right but he's good, but he went away for a while or? Yeah, when Cooper came back, we were wondering, is this the end of Pukin' Akua, but it wasn't. It was last week, but we went back. Okay, good.
Starting point is 00:32:55 No, but then my other notes are just like, just give us a few, that's all. Doesn't matter. Nathan Peterman, zero for zero, fumble recovered, still in the NFL. What team? He is on the bears, I believe. Wow. Yeah. Tyson Bajin. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:12 Isn't it patient? Whatever. Special agent. Then, then my notes are just things like PJ Walker, 178 yards, one interception. How the hell is that game? You write the stats down. It's literally just like stacked and fun notes. Like, so what I'll do is I'll watch like red zone, right?
Starting point is 00:33:26 But then when I'm watching red zone, I'm watching it passively. I'm watching it as a fan just enjoying it. So then I'll go through every game. I'll go through all the stats. I'll take notes. I'll read the recaps on some of them. And then I'll watch NFL's like game day recap,
Starting point is 00:33:40 which I found out Chris Rose hosts a lot of the time, which I was like, hey, Chris Rose, that's where he is. Is that the thing where you can watch an entire game in like five minutes? No, I would do that. It's like a sports center company. It's basically like sports center, but it's just football and then I know I can go
Starting point is 00:33:52 through every single game and just kind of see what it is that I missed on the red zone. Did you get the TV set up or has your wife kind of next to you? Yes, it was the second time that I used the projector in my house and I did it. And the sports bar. Yeah, and I actually it just for. This is the first bar. Yeah, and I actually bought for one of, so the first time we did it,
Starting point is 00:34:09 I have a window that's poorly placed, and it's like, it brings in a lot of light, so it's not great for a projector. So I used like a gray sheeting company redacted sheet over the window to block out the light. And then instead of doing that, this time window to block out the light. And then instead of doing that, this time, it looked, yeah, instead of doing that because my wife didn't like that,
Starting point is 00:34:30 what I ended up doing was I bought a temporary blackout shade from Amazon, but I didn't need it because by the time I got home yesterday to do the two TV set up, it was already dark. So I was good. But next week, I'm whipping out the blackout shade for that way to see how it goes. And that's the big, exhausting being you. Why so? He just thinking so much. I mean, it's like, always looking for bargains, you know, I know I'm looking for practicality. I'm trying to make the look. I need to watch the yesterday.
Starting point is 00:34:57 I needed to watch Sunday night football, but I also needed to take my notes and the world series was on. So I could only do two things at once. Well, not the world series. Or the ALCS. I'm sorry series. Or the ALCS. I'm sorry. Yeah, the ALCS. By the way, game seven tonight. How do you feel about that? Best of words is sports.
Starting point is 00:35:10 Yeah. The kids are bad. Does anyone like your kids? I don't think you have to put the, no, the game started today. 30 guys. That's also the normal time to put your, they shouldn't be sleeping anyway.
Starting point is 00:35:18 But you don't have to put your kids to bed for, for a baseball game. I don't feel like there's ever been a baseball game in the history of baseball in which you have to put the kids to bed. That's usually a physical game. My honor't feel like there's ever been a baseball game in the history of baseball in which you have to put the kids to bed. That's usually a physical game. My daughter just goes to bed at 8.15. No, I had to put my daughter to bed
Starting point is 00:35:31 and I made sure to get everything going early enough where if there was any complications, I would still be good to go. Got it. Great. I need to put my daughter to bed just to make sure that I can do the things that I need to do. If she's not making it.
Starting point is 00:35:44 If she's not making it. If she's not making it, viewing your wife split that duty, is it like I've taken her in type thing? We are in a situation, well we have two now, so each has to put one to sleep. Still playing man though. Yeah, well my annoying thing that people say with kids is like, oh you're still playing man defense. So now you're on zone. My eldest daughter likes when I put her to sleep. So I have been doing that lately. But just straight out, like, kids have no shame. They're just like, mommy, I want daddy to do it. Yeah, she did that last night.
Starting point is 00:36:09 I felt really bad. I feel bad would have, I feel good, but I feel bad. Selflessly, you're like, yes. No, I do. I feel really good, but I feel bad because I know that it's not like a great thing. You feel good because your child shows you. You feel bad because you don't want to do that. Those things count.
Starting point is 00:36:23 No, no, no, I feel bad. I feel bad. No, no, no, no, I feel bad. I feel bad, no, no, no. I feel good because I feel like, oh my God, I'm loved, but I feel bad because I know how, if I were to go to put her to sleep and she's like, no, mommy, I would be like, ooh, ow. Those things come in swings though.
Starting point is 00:36:36 She's okay. Yeah, six months later, she'll want everything mommy to do. Oh, my daughter's gonna hate me at something. Yeah, I know this. Both of them will. Oh, yes, she will. Yeah, both my daughters will hate me. Can I, there was something? Oh, yes, she will. Yeah, both my daughters will hate me.
Starting point is 00:36:45 There was something. Oh, yes, they will. There was something going on over Twitter during this dolphins game last night after a couple of plays where a ball don't lie Twitter. Oh, I hate them. I hate them. Does the ball lie? Because it was what happened was, is the play we were talking about earlier where there
Starting point is 00:36:59 was a clear face mass penalty against the Eagles not called. Eagles get the ball back and immediately throw a pick six. And the big ball don't lie, people came flying out of nowhere. And I just like, what does that mean? It's just whenever in that instance, whenever you get screw, in that instance, they're saying, we were owed a penalty there. We should have had the ball back. So karma gave us a pick six right away because the ball doesn't lie. And I'm hitting it. And Tony, I feel like it agrees with me. The ball lies a lot. The ball lies a ton. Right. And it's just such a, it's, I think of all the, the, the fan tropes that is at the right
Starting point is 00:37:31 word that he's there. And I feel like ball don't lie is just the worst and the laziest. It's late, it's worse than blame the refs. Right. Which it's kind of, it is, it is, no, I, this is 10 blame the refs though. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, it's like a sore loser. They had 10 penalties.
Starting point is 00:37:46 How do you go an entire game without getting a flag thrown on you? And they did have one flagged, but they got taken away. Right. So you're saying the ball does lie sometimes? Absolutely. I'm a believer that the ball does lie. And people like to pull that out at the most convenient of times. Right.
Starting point is 00:38:01 It was a random interception, but the ball had nothing to do with that. There was a bit of karma there though, right? I mean, it's the same trope. I'm big into it. I realize I say the word trope. You like to learn the word over the weekend. The old runner's three and a half on it. How many guys in the back?
Starting point is 00:38:15 We're out the hit, guy in the bathroom tell you trope, like where we get this from. But it just like, I just hate, I don't like the fans. Like ball don't lie, blame the refs. Like we're better than that. We like ball don't lie blame the refs like we're better in that We're five and two. We're still good. You're fine. Let's let's wait till we're out of the playoff You're not ready to blame the refs yet until they bounce you out of the playoffs That you're Russian. That's what like yeah this scheme Brad Allen No, I mean listen to what picture this game doesn't matter no, but it does matter because for whatever reason as good as this Dolphin team is ban is good as this dolphin team has been
Starting point is 00:38:45 as good as the offensive been, people still like to poke holes at the dolphins. Still like to say that they don't think too is very good. He's a system quarterback. He's a product of what Mike McDaniel is doing. People like to criticize the dolphins. They become a very polarizing team. So now you give the national media, you know, you give us some stuff today to talk about and blast the dolphins.
Starting point is 00:39:04 They can pick through the schedule. They can say you haven't beaten a good team, go on the road. The office doesn't look the same on the road as it does at home. Like, you have left the national media with ways to pick this team apart yet again. And they're five and two. Yeah, but it's with the national media fans do. They did this recap late in the game of a couple of two as throws and the two a haters can't say shit about a few of those throws last night. The Sedgric Wilson deep out the touchdown to two over the safeties over the top to re talk
Starting point is 00:39:32 my bad. It was a perfect to himself. That was in wild for years on the field. Where he literally he has no space other than the corner of that end zone. It was perfect. Yes. So the two a haters to it was not the issue last and the one he threw, Jalen Waddle that was between Darius Lai and the safety that he put it right between both of them. Just dropping. And then he's, we've come to, like, you
Starting point is 00:39:52 get a lot of good with two up, but we've come to realize you're going to get that one throw a game where he just kind of lops it up. That would get a lot of contact there. What did you say? There's a lot of contact on that. But it was just not a, by whom you want. Wait, go, go with me there. Eagles defenders. There's a lot of contact on that. But it was just not a by whom you want. Wait, go go with me there. Eagles defenders. There's a little little bit of contact. Maybe a P.I. not called. That's I'm saying it. You could make it.
