Starting point is 00:01:58 listeners and viewership? If you're watching on video right now, you're looking at Taylor's smiling face. He's in the Fuentes seat today. Are you nervous? How you feel? We're gonna make you talk right away. I'm not nervous This is like coaching the Olympics where I just have to let you guys take the ball and let you do the rest I'm kind of just step what does doesn't play? You're saying you're Cheryl Reve and you're a Hall of Fame coach right now, I'm Steve Kerr instead of trying to be Steph Curry Who is the Jason Tatum of this group? You're not gonna let him in the lineup. I guess it's Ethan.
Starting point is 00:02:27 You think the audience likes when we name drop just like random people all the time? You think they do? Yeah, they liked me a lot more when you guys name dropped me before I started actually speaking on the air. Well, it's not, I mean, I'm not saying you did it to yourself, but you did introduce your character
Starting point is 00:02:43 as guy who makes dad jokes right off the bat Well first I was introduced as a heat expert and then very quickly undermined What we do bro, not a heat expert. Yeah as a homer and so that quickly turned and then I was like Well, what do I do now? I guess I'll just be myself and Hasn't worked out so well either The polar opposite of that is Rose. It seems like everybody loves her now. Oh yeah, put her on the, she should be the star of everything that we do in my opinion.
Starting point is 00:03:11 She's like Tyrese Halliburton. Has Rose ever, yeah, has Rose ever been on air? Oh yeah, did you watch the hockey show? Hockey show, come on. Oh yeah. Thanks a million, wow. I mean other than the hockey show. Rose does on that show what Taylor's doing today
Starting point is 00:03:22 and what Fuentes doesn't do. She lays out, she lets the talent run. Oh man. Is this a Fuentes batch? Fuentes is gonna be furious. The roast of Mike Fuentes, except normally the person getting roasted gets to go to the roast and then get their moment
Starting point is 00:03:35 to talk back, but where is he? Is he Kansas City or something? Yeah, he's out and about doing some Mike Fuentes things, you know what I mean? Okay, fair enough. Are you guys kinda done with this? Is it Ooze? The secret?
Starting point is 00:03:48 Oh my God, thank you so much for saying that. Who, Secret of the Ooze? Said the Boon people? No. Oh. That's Big AJ. And right now they're like at their peak descending. Yes.
Starting point is 00:03:59 Really? The Boon people. I know what this is. Well the behind the scenes thing happened. But for the people who don't know. I don't know, tell me what it is, please. Well there's Big AJ. Oh no, we're not doing another episode of this. No, what's Ooze? No, I know the Ooze. the scenes for the people who don't know I don't know tell me what well there's big AJ Oh, no, we're not
Starting point is 00:04:11 Really oh I remember OZ but it's ooze Perlman. He's the guy he's like the magician guy goes all these Oh, yes, and he like he all of a sudden you the the Texas A&M quarterback has a card that in his shoe His name's Oz, isn't it? No, it's not Oz. It's Ooz, yeah. It's spelled Oz, but it's not. We called him Oz last year. Everyone's called him Oz.
Starting point is 00:04:29 No, I'm telling you. If it's only one O, it's Oz. No, it's a thousand percent not Oz. It's spelled Oz. He was on the Jet Car Nauts last year. This is the mentalist guy? Yes. I think it's Oz.
Starting point is 00:04:37 It's Ooz, it's Ooz Perlman. I'm telling you. I think it's Oz because it's spelled OZ, but it's not pronounced. I'm not telling you how to pronounce it. I'm telling you, when he was a guest on the Levitard, yeah, good job, good job. I'm telling you, without'm not telling you how to pronounce it. I'm telling you, when he was a guest on the Levitard show last year, we called him Oz the entire time.
Starting point is 00:04:53 And nobody corrected us. I'm not sure that's true. I'm pretty sure he would have. No, 100% that's true. Yeah, that's exactly what happened. OK, regardless, it's not pronounced Oz. We were dumb then. If that's what we did, we shouldn't have done that.
Starting point is 00:05:03 But about this guy, like, all right, so either this guy is a warlock who can just, is just not human, or he's got everyone, it's the biggest ruse ever, and the Texas A&M quarterback's in on it. How did the card get in that guy's shoe? I don't know. All right, let's break the fourth wall.
Starting point is 00:05:21 It's obviously not real magic, okay? We don't believe, nobody out here actually believes that he magically put the card in his shoe. So is it like, does he have an assistant that goes into the locker room and is like, oh, I think those are the quarterback shoes. I'm gonna slide the card. Like, I need to know, is the quarterback in on it?
Starting point is 00:05:37 I changed my mind. He has to be in on it. So the whole trick, so he was at college, Texas A&M, college station for like this thing with at Texas A&M College Station for this thing with the Texas A&M football team. And I feel like every year football season comes around and there's some big feature with this guy where he goes to a locker room and freaks out all the players with his tricks. And so he did it with the Texas A&M quarterback.
Starting point is 00:05:56 He was like, think of a card, blah, blah, blah. And then the card, he was like, take off your shoe. And the card was in the shoe. And then he's like, who are you going to call to tell about the story? And he was like, my friend, Kerry. And then he's like, look at the back of the card was in the shoe, and then he's like, who are you gonna call to tell about the story? And he's like, my friend, Carrie. And then he's like, look at the back of the card. It says Carrie. It says Carrie.
Starting point is 00:06:09 So it's like the craziest, like this guy's a warlock. But do you think he's that good of an actor, the quarterback? That's what I'm saying. So it's like, what's happening? So the real, what really is happening here? Magic does freak me out. No, because I know what's happening here.
Starting point is 00:06:19 What's happening here is, he's got like a, Pearlman's got a whole team, and he somehow gets access where he like tells a clubhouse guy, he's got like a, Pearlman's got a whole team and he somehow gets access where he like tells a clubhouse guy, he's like look, I need to get in this clubhouse and like, just let me in here. I bet you it's a vague thing where it's like, we wanna do a bit. Like that has to be the explanation.
Starting point is 00:06:36 I just don't, how does he get the card in the shoe, Taylor? That's what I need to know. Mike Pointas would know, cause he knows a little bit about everything. Or he'd just lie and make up an answer I'm just done with them. I don't done with Perlman. I have an update. His name is Oh's There's no way his name was there's no way his name was ooze I just knew it wasn't Oz
Starting point is 00:06:58 I just knew I know it's spelled Oz, but I know it's not Roy, let's be clear. Everyone was wrong. No one knows how to pronounce it. I could argue that I was the most right. He said it was Oz. He said it was Ooze. I was like, I think Chris is right,
Starting point is 00:07:11 because I know it's not Oz. To be fair, if it were Oz, I definitely would go, huh! Ugh! What does that mean? Bum, ba-na-na. So it's not Oz? Is it Oz?
Starting point is 00:07:20 It's not Oz. The guy from Law and Order was new in that show. Yeah, Keller. His name was Chris Keller. Yeah. Wait, really? Elliot Stable's name was Chris Keller. He's naked in Oz? The guy from law and order was always new in that show yeah That character in particular he was always just walking Naked he was like he was a little predatory. Yeah I've never seen it. I know it's like scary. It's a heavy show. It was a little before my time in that it was a show
Starting point is 00:07:48 that I knew would make me afraid. So I didn't watch it. Not that like the subject matter I was necessarily like too young for, but I was like, oh, I'm too young to be scared. How old were you? When did it come out, 2004? No, Oz was like 2000, 99.
Starting point is 00:08:03 I'm telling you. I was six. It's the perfect. It was like. Yeah, you shouldn't be watching shows with penises. It was like me in? No, Oz was like 2000, 99. I'm telling you. I was six. It's the perfect, it was like. Yeah, shouldn't be watching shows with penises. It was like me in high school, like late at night, like I shouldn't be watching this. I'll tell you, I remember telling my dad, hey there's a show about prison that's called Oz,
Starting point is 00:08:15 it's really good, he said, yeah, but you know, they don't probably depict prison like it really is. I'm like, no dad, it's a pretty realistic depiction of prison, he's like, no, no, no, I mean, there are things that happen in prison that they wouldn't put in a TV show. I said, no dad, they've got it all. He's like, no, no, no, I mean, there are things that happen in prison that they wouldn't put in a TV show. I was like, no, dad, they've got it all. He's like, no, no, you don't understand, I mean,
Starting point is 00:08:29 things happen in prison that are kind of like, that you don't, I'm like, yeah. They feature that. They have that too, dad. You're a grown man at this point, right? Yes, and he's like, no, no, and he's got this, oh, this poor, sweet, innocent child look on his face. He said, sometimes, I mean, when people go to prison,
Starting point is 00:08:45 men start to look at other men like they're women because they haven't been out in so long. And I said, yeah, they had that too. He's like, what? I'm like, yes, I'm telling you, it's the most realistic depiction of prison. And it is singularly the reason why I've always said, if I ever have to go to prison, put me in solitary,
Starting point is 00:09:04 keep me away from everybody. Everybody. You don't wanna play the game? I'm gonna go crazy. Back to Oz. That JK Simmons. Ooze. Ooze.
Starting point is 00:09:12 JK Simmons, another penis you saw in that show. Yeah. He was a big time white supremacist. He was like the leader of the whites. The leader of the Aryan nation. Geez. The cast on that show, by the way. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:23 Phenomenal. The guy from the chaos guy, the by the way. Yeah phenomenal the guy from the the the chaos guy the inch the Commercial guys the K that was like the main And his brother you know I'd have the one it was it came out like a couple months ago It's like you and your brother are fighting. It's no this is out about whatever the brother that brother was crazy That was like he's a memorable character of like that dude. I am yeah that guy was terrible on us I'll tell you who else was on Oz, Luis Guzman. He played the leader of the Hispanic gang.
Starting point is 00:09:49 That dude was in everything in the 90s, in like early 2000s. Ernie Hudson. Ernie Hudson was the warden. That's right. Dude, Oz had a cast. Yeah, dude. I mean, Oz.
Starting point is 00:09:59 Back to Oz, do you think everyone else is also like, I'm sick of this guy or is it just us? I think I need is, cause he's done this to dozens of teams at this point. I need someone to come out and be like, there was funny business here. Cause even with us, he tried to like pre-interview us, but it wasn't past a certain line where it was like,
Starting point is 00:10:17 tell me the answer. He would just like ask us questions. And it was like, he definitely wanted to pre-interview people so he could like get information. Like I'm sure he talked to Wegman at some point and was like who's your best friend Wegman whatever I see the look did I say it wrong no actually it's been it's been a point of contention because a lot of people are unsure yes if it's Wegman or Wegman I thought it was Wegman but then
Starting point is 00:10:40 throughout the game I really started it's an ooze oh situation all I know is he stinks and that Taylor gave it to me-oze situation. Yeah, all I know is he stinks, and that Taylor gave it to me as his play of the year, sorry. Okay, no. How do you have a play of the year week one? It's tough to lose your play of the year week one. I don't know where you go from here. Why are you putting yourself out there week one?
Starting point is 00:10:54 Why are you listening to Taylor about a game, a team that I have watched every single game of for the last 30 years as playing in, and I'm telling you, don't bet on it, don't bet on it. Notre Dame, you're gonna get a little emotional with me, whereas he's not connected to that. Notre Dame, I'm more like, oh, we're gonna lose. I hate my life, oh my God, I'm stuck.
Starting point is 00:11:10 That's emotional though. I'm not asking for North Carolina. But I was saying, don't do it, because even throughout all my negativity, I have a pretty good feeling. I didn't ask him specifically for that game. I just was like, what do you like? And he goes, text A&M Moneyline play of the year
Starting point is 00:11:26 Well, how am I not gonna put the bed in if I see that I also know it lost but I'll die on the hill that That was the right play. Oh my how is that possible? He was so bad dude that quarterback. Nobody could have seen how bad Back to owes. Yeah, a lot of Texas A&M fans were writing on the message boards after the game. They saw that game day feature where he was freaking out about the O's thing and the card and the shoe and they were like, uh oh. He doesn't seem like very confident at all. Nice, good job Jeremy. Thanks.
Starting point is 00:11:56 Thanks, at all. But. I gotta lie. Whoa! Don't put yourself out there, play the year week one. Like I would have taken it if you just said I like them. All right, so we're back to Fuentes and Taylor are here right now equal Taylor was here and now
Starting point is 00:12:10 Chris Cody putting him down the rankings a little bit But what we were talking about we need somebody who's been Oozd like someone in the Jets locker room from last year on hard to come out and be like alright He asked like I'm gonna be honest. He asked me blah blah, but you haven't heard anyone do that So like this guy might be a warlock There's no cuz there's no follow-ups like he predicted the Jets were gonna be in, he asked me blah blah blah. But you haven't heard anyone do that, so this guy might be a warlock. There's no, cause there's no follow ups. He predicted the Jets were gonna be in the Super Bowl
Starting point is 00:12:28 and they were very much not in the Super Bowl. Did he actually predict that? Yeah, on hard knocks. Wow, pampering. No one ever goes back and is like, you know what? They're like, he was so nice. Bruce was wrong. We're not gonna blow up his spot.
Starting point is 00:12:40 But in the moment. I'll tell you guys. Come on, man. Remember, he made us do something with the money and write something on money or whatever. He told me to hold up the bill before the show. Could you hold up the camera? And I think that's when he saw the serial number right there
Starting point is 00:12:55 and he screenshotted it, whatever. So there are some things. You just have to know what to look for. So you're saying magic is not real. Well, it was very impressive. He did our interview over Zoom. Other than the magic friendship. Which. Well, it was very impressive. Like over, he did us our interview over Zoom. Other than the magic friendship. Which is crazy, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:07 Like over Zoom, I get it. Like that's hard to be a warlock over Zoom. It's all about distraction, right? You're like, oh, look at this way. Well, I'm doing something over here, the prestige. I don't, I hate to be the guy that's like, hey magician, tell me how you do your magic trick. But I'm just over this.
Starting point is 00:13:19 Cause every other magic trick, I kinda, you know, as a magic cam veteran, like if you put a handkerchief. You went to magic camp. Yeah, I did. If you put a handkerchief in your hand and it disappears, I kinda, you know, as a magic cam veteran, like if you put a handkerchief. You went to magic camp. Yeah, I did. If you put a handkerchief in your hand and it disappears, I know where it is because I know how that trick is done. How are you putting the handkerchief away?
Starting point is 00:13:33 Show me that again. Okay, there we go. Okay, yeah. Everyone does. Now, I'm wondering, on your TikTok algorithm, do you have magic revealed? Because that's part of my algorithm. I don't, I probably will now.
Starting point is 00:13:42 Magic revealed. Oh my god, it's so great. These like, they wear masks. I'm in on this. Do you get kicked out of the magicians alliance?'t, I probably will now. Magic Reveals. Oh my God, it's so great. These like, they wear masks. Do you get kicked out of the Magicians Alliance? Yeah, there was a guy that got kicked out of the Magic Castle because of it. That's why they wear the masks when they do it.
Starting point is 00:13:52 Wait, what? They're like anonymous? Yep, they wear a mask and I'm saying they because I don't know whether it's a he or she or any of them, so it's a they. And they put on a mask and then they do the tricks. They show you how the tricks are done, like the way they palm the cards and all that.ulate their voices a little bit. Yeah. Oh my god
Starting point is 00:14:09 I hope I get on this algorithm now. I say it a couple more times. I am interested in watching that I am interested in that magic. I mean, I know how the handkerchief thing. It's like you guys that's the I know that one Everyone knows that that one you want to know actually Everyone knows that trick. What's that one? You wanna know actually? Should I put it on? Spoiler alert. I know how to do it.
Starting point is 00:14:25 Hold on, you're gonna get kicked out of the mess. If your young children are around. Illusions, Michael. It's a fake thumb. It's a fake thumb. It's a fake thumb. It's a fake thumb. It's a fake thumb.
Starting point is 00:14:35 A fake thumb? It's like a little plastic looking fake thumb that you have in your hand. So now when you put the thing in, your last one, you put the thumb in. And then you cut off your thumb? No, no, your thumb goes into like a fake. And what happens to your real thumb?
Starting point is 00:14:49 You just like, you kind of like go like this, and you hold it like this, and people don't notice. So the handkerchief goes inside the thumb? Inside your thumb. Why isn't the thumb like a massive? Because when you're doing this afterwards, it looks, it's like skin colored, and it looks. You don't just sit there and have people examine that thumb.
Starting point is 00:15:05 And then when you're about to, you want it to reappear again, you quickly grab the thumb and now it's back in your hand. It's a gout ridden thumb. What if you have a mole on your thumb? You have to get a fake thumb with a mole on it probably. It's one of the sadder tricks, like if you know the trick and you know what to look for, you always see the magician's thumb and it's like,
Starting point is 00:15:21 oh, that's clearly a fake thumb. Can I give a spoiler alert for a magic trick? I had a magic set as a child one time, and spoiler alert, if no one wants this trick revealed. So it was like, you get like a styrofoam cup and then you pour a drink into it and then you put a pencil through it. And then it's like, wow, how is it
Starting point is 00:15:42 that this doesn't work, right? And it's because there was like an insert in said cup that looked almost like a, like one of the individual packets of Pringles that's like, you know, curved or whatever, and then you poke it through the part that's curved. Now, I miscalculated and I stabbed the insert and I was like I have a magic trick,
Starting point is 00:16:03 water's not gonna come out of this thing. Or I did like soda or something so you couldn't see it. I'm like I have a magic trick, water's not gonna come out of this thing or I did like soda or something so you couldn't see it. I'm like, I have a magic trick, soda's not gonna come out. And it went, and then all of the soda came out and I'm like, magic's not for me. Are you getting big trouble? Yeah, oh yeah, they were not happy with me.
Starting point is 00:16:14 Magic was not for me. No. And botched it. Welcome to Mystery Crate. Yeah, yeah, woo. I saw that there was one, now that since we're ruining magic, there was one like Vegas thing once where it's like, these people have been moved, teleported from one, they're standing in a box here,
Starting point is 00:16:29 and now they're all of a sudden in this one, and it was like, they were all twins. It's always twins, right? It was all twins. That's the big, That was the big reveal. I mean, I feel like we've talked about this before, right? Carbonaro has a twin, like secret twin, right?
Starting point is 00:16:40 Yes, yeah. Like, we know that he has to have a twin. Yeah, cause there's no other way he can do any of these things. Yeah. By the way, the Carbonaro effect, his number one audience is black people. Yeah, I think we've done this already It was on it was on true TV. I don't know if it's still it was like the show that was on when impractical jokers wasn't Yeah, basically, it's the best way to describe the first shows on that channel. Really? No, I'm asking
Starting point is 00:17:01 Oh, no, but I think the first shows were like, world, wow, this police chase is over now. We're not talking about Costco. I have a Danny Bonaducci. This is a person. Yeah, Carbonaro. No, Carbonaro is a guy. Carbonaro. Carbonaro, not Carbonaro.
Starting point is 00:17:14 Carbonaro is if you're from Chicago or Wisconsin or someone like that. Just like Lewis earlier said he wants to do Shaka Can. I can play some Shaka Can. I said, where are you from? Shaka Can. America's Heartland? Shaka-can. I said, where are you from? Shaka-can. America's Heartland? Carbonaro Effect, an unscripted series
Starting point is 00:17:29 in which he deceives, amazes, and amuses unsuspecting public. Unsuspecting black people. Yeah. It did seem to be a theme with him. Black people react well to magic. Like, they give the reactions that TV really wants. Harrison Ford was on that show, right?
Starting point is 00:17:44 What? No, he wasn't. Harrison Ford was on that show right what no he wasn't no Harrison Ford was yeah, I thought I don't think so Deceived Harrison Ford and not me not on the way hold on David Blaine performs for Harrison Ford there you go I don't see anything about supposed to mean carbon arrow. No carbon arrow. Oh, why'd you confuse it to them? I don't know man. It was a magic show It's very possible. He was also on the Carbonaro effect. It is impossible that Harrison Ford was on the Carbonaro effect.
Starting point is 00:18:13 I've never heard of it till today. Speaking of Harrison Ford, I recently binge through Shrinking on Apple TV. Oh yeah. And I have to say, we got Bill Lawrence. Bill Lawrence was in on Thursday. Was on on Thursday. I'm glad I got to bring up to him that that show Made me feel feelings You'd be on my you'd be on my like list of top ten people that I associate with a lot that I wouldn't imagine has
Starting point is 00:18:41 a lot of those. Feelings. Who else is on that list? Me. I feel like Roy just answered for you. Anger is a feeling, Roy. Yeah. Not that I don't think of you to be like a caring person, I just like, you don't seem like too emotional with things. Sentimental, you're just not, you don't like people to see a sentimental side of you.
Starting point is 00:19:01 I don't have sentiments. It's true. Like diagnosed? Like I know you don't do birthdays, but for your kids you do. Like it's true. Like diagnosed? Like I know you don't do birthdays, but for your kids you do. Like on their birthdays are you like, oh happy birthday, woo! I do purely for like a developmental,
Starting point is 00:19:14 like it's not, there's no part of me, it's like I really want them to feel special. I don't want them to grow up to be ax murders. So, make them have a regular childhood. That's why I celebrate with them. I mean, Woody probably had birthdays. Yeah. Yeah. What did Renee call Roy earlier this week, Mr. That's why I celebrate with them. I mean, Woody probably had birthdays. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:25 Look at me. What did Renee call Roy earlier this week, Mr. Grump? Mr. Grumps. That's a good name for a cat. It kind of is. Yeah. Cats are usually grumpy. I actually met a really nice cat the other day.
Starting point is 00:19:36 Really? Yeah. Oh, really? Willow became friends with a cat. Wow. We talked last week on Mystery Crate how she's afraid of cats. She made a friend with a cat this week. So not all cats are evil. No. My cats are sweethearts, man. Don't you dare call how she's afraid of cats. She made a friend with a cat this week. So not all cats are evil.
Starting point is 00:19:45 No. My cats are sweethearts, man. Don't you dare call them evil. Jeremy has cats. They're so cute. Come on, man. It's on brand. Everything I do is on brand.
Starting point is 00:19:53 You know what I don't? Whatever you assume about me, it's true. If I have to say one negative thing about Conors, I think cat owners. I think that they are so quick to like judge the way you are around their cat Not at all like when I go over my buddy John's house They have a new cat and they're always analyzing how I am around their cat It's like ooh like I'll walk by and not pet it and they're like, oh, you don't like cats
Starting point is 00:20:16 It's just like relax. You don't do this with your dog. Yeah, just exist. Just let me be let the cat I actually do it with my dog though. If people come over and they're kind of weird I'm like, hmm, what's that about? But I'm telling you Koners do it more than donors Corners I feel like I feel like people really judge you if you don't like dogs where people assume you don't like cats I gotta say right now Koner sounds like a slur. I don't know towards whom cyclone cyclone fans Koners, oh He called me the c-word fans, Conors. Oh, he called me the C word.
Starting point is 00:20:44 Whoa. You said all of that. I didn't, for the record, didn't say any of that. Yeah, I'm right here looking at you. How's this going for you, Taylor? Yeah. It's going well. Actually, I have a magic story. Oh, boy. I went to I went to Las Vegas.
Starting point is 00:21:00 I went to Las Vegas. I had met Paulo Manchero at Rookie of the Year, and itchera rookie of the year, and it was my player of the year. Scott's got the best faked hair. Clip that. I went to Las Vegas. My parents took me and my sister there for a family vacation,
Starting point is 00:21:14 where they basically just put you in the hotel. Good parenting. And then they'd get you out at night. How old were you? Amazing. Second grade. First or second grade. Oh my god.
Starting point is 00:21:23 In his parents' defense, Vegas does have good pools. Yes, and we did a lot with him. You have a great pool. I was in Vegas with my parents. Leave your children alone in a Vegas pool. I think that goes without saying. Well no, your parents are going with you. Yo, Taylor said I was left in my hotel room alone
Starting point is 00:21:35 as a second grader. Exactly. And Chris's response was, to be fair, good pools, good pools. They do have good pools. I went there as a kid with my parents. And we were staying at the Mirage hotel and the first night we got there we were we were so tired and
Starting point is 00:21:50 They read Roy because my parents drugged us sick free to get sick free It's not a Z. Zurbio. Yeah, you made it Zurbia. It's sick Frieden Roy sick Frieden Roy the night We got there. We didn't do anything because we were so tired from the flight. Yeah was the night he got attacked Oh, wow, so you could have seen it Perhaps oh my god Opportunity I don't know what would have been worse parenting leaving you alone in the hotel room We're taking you to see so get mauled by a tiger whatever happen were they okay after that what I look it up What happened? I remember that story
Starting point is 00:22:31 Really I like that's just Roy. No, no, he's not dead. He got mauled, but he didn't die. He didn't die during that. But I think that would be so traumatizing to see as a child. Hell no. I'd be come back to 2001 or 2002. Dude, I come back to school, and guys, you're not gonna believe what the hell I just saw this weekend. I would be traumatized. You guys went to the water park? Oh, that's cute. They're both no longer with us. But what were the extent of the injuries
Starting point is 00:22:55 that Taylor almost witnessed? Horn survived, but the attack severed his spine, resulting in massive blood loss and severely injuring other parts of his body, left him with permanent impairment to his motor and verbal abilities. He also then had a stroke while being dragged off stage. So Roy was the one that was attacked.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Terrible time for a stroke. Yeah. Cause we're already having like the worst day. Probably related. I think they were probably. I would guess. I think it was coincidence. I don't know if Chris is doing a bad time.
Starting point is 00:23:24 Just compounding. I don't know what Chris is doing about it. Just compounding. I don't know. But how are the pools? The pools are great if they... Have you ever been to a Vegas pool? They're all great. Wait, hold on. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:23:34 I love the idea of him getting mauled. Ah! Ah! Oh, this day couldn't get any worse. Like, oh no, I can't feel my left side. I mean, I smell burning toes. Here we go. By the way, it was Roy who was attacked Roy house not sick not sick

It was impossible to know
Starting point is 00:26:43 All the time you hear oh this guy got mauled by a dog and he had a stroke in the middle of it. You don't just think of like. It's a tiger, not a dog. Oh, so like that's a common thing when you get attacked by a tiger, you get a stroke? I don't know the common things when you get attacked by a tiger in particular.
Starting point is 00:26:56 I don't know whether they're related. You guys are all acting like smarty pants over here. So like someone gets in a car accident, they break their arm, like oh man, what a bad time to break their arm. No, but that's like. Right after they got in a car accident. No, but the accident broke their arm.
Starting point is 00:27:07 So you're saying basically the stroke happened like a bolt of lightning. Like as he's getting dragged off, lightning came. Whoa! I have a crazy update to this story, which is that what they haven't determined is whether his stroke occurred before. Of course, then.
Starting point is 00:27:24 You guys are all acting like, oh, when you get bit by a tiger in that obvious spot. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Just relax. I just love everyone, like, thank you, Caleb. They're not sure if he had the stroke before or after. While en route to the hospital, Horn stated, Manticore, the name of the cat, is a great cat.
Starting point is 00:27:38 Make sure no harm comes to Manticore. And he told People Magazine in September of 2004, so a year after, that he believes that Manticore actually saved his life By trying to drag him to safety after he had the stroke. I'm buying with that guy Oh, he's also a human being that lived with tigers and lions so not exactly Good look in the mirror As if you could just like, you guys were acting like,
Starting point is 00:28:06 it's a common thing when you get bit by a lion, you have a stroke. I think the point was like, he may have had a brain injury that caused him to have a stroke. So it's more- And I have the assumption- And my point was, we don't know that- So it's more believable that the tiger, tiger lion,
Starting point is 00:28:20 what do they call it? The trained tiger, look- It's more believable that this tiger knew he was having a stroke and just severed his spinal cord to save the animal. I love this. What do they train tiger look it's more believable that this tiger? And just severed his spinal cord to save Everybody remembers for McGill so this is for Chris, so this is what's happening Montecore is like alright here We go guys we do this every night three times a night. We got it. We got this game face gave Roy Roy
Starting point is 00:28:43 What no Roy hold on I gotta get you to the hospital Roy. Come with me Roy. And then the way, like Mrs. Dalfar, help is on the way, the lion comes over and takes him. And the tiger's like telling everybody, guys, Roy's having a stroke. But it sounds like this. There are support dogs that will,
Starting point is 00:29:01 if you have epilepsy and they know that you're about to faint, they'll come to your rescue. Montecore did not know. They'll help you like get safely to the ground and then get help for you. Like this is a thing that animals are, some animals are trained to do. I mean, we can't pretend to know the psychology of these tigers. Thank you. Sui, 2025 please. Amin Elhassan as Montecore, the lion at Malden. I thought I did a good job. And you know what time it is it's
Starting point is 00:29:30 What is her on Bay was trying to save that kid yeah We and we killed her on Bay for no reason kill her on me. Yeah, and the kid was having a stroke What if no way of knowing? You betcha is sponsored by DraftKings. Stay tuned because you'll hear more about DraftKings and all it has to offer throughout the show. DraftKings, the crown is yours. We have a three team college football parlay.
Starting point is 00:29:55 Tennessee. Play of the year? No, not a play of the year. Tennessee minus eight, neutral site against NC State. Love Tennessee's quarterback, maybe the best quarterback in half court football. App State, we're gonna take a flyer on App State, plus 17 against Clemson.
Starting point is 00:30:11 Like it? Trap game. Yes, and then Nebraska Moneyline, at home versus Colorado. We're fading Deon. All three of those together, it's a plus 393 parlay. And that was you, you, you, you, you, you, you, It's a plus 393 parlay and that was Yeah, that's how this goes it was just pick inner Miami Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, whenever it's messy to score add that UCF. That'd be hard
Starting point is 00:30:36 Jeremy has an update about Roy Roy died of COVID-19 He I knew they both didn't die because of tiger attacks like Like I knew it was one of them and then they stopped. No, that was the same one. Neither one died of tiger attacks. The one that was attacked by the tiger. So he got attacked by the tiger and had like major injuries but still lived another 20 years. He lived long enough to tell people
Starting point is 00:30:56 that the tiger actually tried to save his life. I'm not saying I'm buying it, I'm just saying I don't know enough information to judge either way. I would like more information Maybe we say that next time before we jump down my throat and monda course And then it turned out Chris Lawrence
Starting point is 00:31:24 Contradicted the story and said that the tiger just attacked him. I mean, if I needed to feel better about my life choices and my tiger, I would probably say what he said. Yeah, the duo dismissed his claim saying, quote, he had problems with his life anyway. Roy or the tiger? I'm just saying, I see both sides.
Starting point is 00:31:46 If I were Roy, I'd be like, you know what? The tiger was actually trying to save my life. Everyone that told me I was crazy all those years, you're the crazy ones. That tiger knew I was having a stroke. And if I were some other guy, I'd be like, that's insane. Like we said to Chris Cody. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:58 So, interesting. I can't believe this all started with the fact that Taylor almost witnessed this. That's crazy. You could have told us, we could have been like, Taylor, did he have the appearance of a person having a stroke? Or maybe you would have known he was having a stroke, and then Montecor would have to sit then.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Yeah. Exactly. It also could be like a parallel universe where I'm not in this spot right now. Wow. Because it changed you. Where would you be? Never know.
Starting point is 00:32:20 In the multiverse. Taming tigers. Do you guys believe in that? LSU. The idea that every decision you make creates a parallel universe that then is being lived out so like Yeah, like essentially the butterfly effect. Yeah, I watched the culture I started watching just watch that for the first time this weekend. Do it again. It's a jarring movie. It is I remember I remembered it as oh, it's a fun movie that they replay different parts in your life
Starting point is 00:32:42 And I'm like I didn't remember the first half hour that uh-huh that first half hour is dark the first half hour Someone dies right someone dies. There's like Child predator stuff. Yeah, it is a truly dark movie It was like final destination style time But I just remembered as a kid like only like the the fun stuff where they're like oh, we're going back in time First half hour was like I don't remember any of this. It is so messed up. That was dude, where's my car that you were picking up?
Starting point is 00:33:08 It's funny, because that's what the premise was, is that we decided we were gonna start when we need to randomly watch a movie or just fill some time with some sort of something we wanna watch, that instead of just having to scroll through Netflix or pick anything else out, we're just gonna pick an actor or an actress and just go through whatever movies we like from them first
Starting point is 00:33:28 and then move on to the next one. So we wanted to watch The Butterfly Effect, so we started with Ashton Kutcher. We'll start with A. You know what, maybe I will make this an alphabetical. I'll make a list, I'll put it alphabetical, and we'll go from there. Is there a world in which Taylor becomes Hunter Renfro?
Starting point is 00:33:41 Yeah, for sure. Yeah, why not? Yeah. Potentially. I got cut from my basketball team in 11th grade and to fill that time in the winter I started running track and then my first track meet I got offered a scholarship from North Carolina so if I never got cut from the basketball team I most likely never go to North Carolina. Wait and so then the football was just something that happened on the side?
Starting point is 00:34:02 Football, I never liked track so I got there my freshman year and was just butting heads with the coach the entire time so after my look like after Butting heads well he made me run the 800 and every time I ran the 800 I would throw up And I was like this race isn't for me, and he's like I think you're gonna be good at it I'm yeah, my body is physically That happens. You're just out of shape. The world after the 800?
Starting point is 00:34:27 Yes, every time. Does this coach have a pedigree? Is this a good, he knows talent? No, he's not at Carolina anymore. He sees fraud. This is also interesting because I've heard ever since we talked about it. Wait, what was your coach's name?
Starting point is 00:34:36 I think my coach went to Carolina after he coached me at FIU. Did he tell you to keep going? What was your coach's name? Coach Rubin. That was my coach in track! Shut up! That was my track coach! Steve Rubin! No way! What?!
Starting point is 00:34:49 What?! And parallel universe. Did you like him? It's carbonero. Taylor just ripped him. This is crazy! Holy s***! Best revelation. Apparently he thought Billy had it though. He didn't try to change his... Who's who's ass? You guys should have said it at the same time. He didn't try to change his Amherst college now, yeah, let's see if I don't go from Carolina to am her she get him on mystery crane If you know what you're doing All right head coaching career looks like
Starting point is 00:35:19 2000 what what years were you in college Billy 2003 to 2007 head coach FIU 2012 2017 head coach University, North Carolina a small world I used to I used to practice to I used to throw up in his practices, too, and I just thought I was out of shape Same track coach look at us birds of a feather crazy Coach should like you're looking you're like what should he have said when you throw up? Oh also real quick mark this right now best revelation How do we not figure this out before this is our backhoe Taylor I had multiple people with no affiliation to the show text me and be like that can't be true I mean the backhoe thing with them
Starting point is 00:36:03 It's such a weird lie, but I'm not saying you're lying I know such a random thing that like I got multiple people being like is that actually true for the record I agree that It's crazy because what baby is like back home And you guys put it in a hat and like rise across the office at the yes, and there were witnesses That's why it's like we couldn't made it up like people saw us Like notice this at this house that not a suey nominee by the way? It was, Revelation. Yeah it was.
Starting point is 00:36:28 Oh I wasn't here that day, I'm sorry. That's where we heard it. I missed that day where we gave those nominations. Okay, you're right, you're right, you're right. I don't know how it didn't win honestly. It was Samson revealing that he cries out of sex. I mean that one is. That's pretty good.
Starting point is 00:36:41 I mean, shocking. Not as shocking. Definitely more humiliating. But yes. Wow, you and Billy, same coach. What a bonding moment this is. I don't normally talk about my track days. That's why we probably never knew about that.
Starting point is 00:36:56 Oddly enough, Jeremy and I had the same baseball coach. Yeah, we did. We had the same high school baseball coach. We didn't learn that today. But we've known that. Wow. It relates. Do you guys go to the same high school?
Starting point is 00:37:04 Stop stealing our moment. Yeah, sorry, I don't know why I got in we guys were also in a very we were Yeah, within the county you North Carolina. Are you in your guys is way better? I came in with a far less interesting story, but it was just related that's somewhat Yeah, yeah a couple of the duos playing for the same coaches You know maybe there is like some sort of parallel timeline thing happening because what are the odds in another universe we're all here together? Are you the same age as Taylor? Because Billy and I are very close in age.
Starting point is 00:37:29 Me and Taylor are the same age and he's one year younger. Jeremy's one year younger. I'm young. Jesus Christ. Maybe there is something going on here because Billy and I are the same age, they're the same age. Me and Amina are in their 40s right now.
Starting point is 00:37:39 What if like we are living in the alternate timeline? This isn't the main timeline. It's more likely our parents just all did it the same time. Yeah. Forgot to be honest. Do they synchronize? Not mine.
Starting point is 00:37:51 You guys ready? All across the world, let's go, now! Synchronize sex. One, two, three, go! Is a funny visual. Everyone just think about it right now. Taylor, this is the moment that. Stop!
Starting point is 00:38:02 These are the moments you're supposed to get in and direct us. Yeah. take a different topic. I have Whatever happened to driving around the block, Jess Guys whatever happened To you make a wrong turn. Uh-huh. You're not sure exactly where you're going But you know you got to go back the other way and instead of just driving around the block You decide to do a u-turn into oncoming traffic. I have had this happen to me so many times.
Starting point is 00:38:28 People do U-turns into my parking garage once a day. Just go around the block. It's very simple. Whatever happened to that? What about pulling into a stranger's driveway? How do we feel about that? Kind of scares me a little. A little three-point turn action.
Starting point is 00:38:42 A little three-point turn into the driveway? Someone's driveway? Or they have like a circle driveway. Cause at least that way I'm not, like you can still drive by me. Where if you do it in the middle of the road, you're just like, okay, I'm making this all about me. Well, I'm also trying to turn into my driveway.
Starting point is 00:38:52 And now there's a car turning into my driveway that wants to back out into me. So it doesn't really work. And instead, you could just go down the street, turn left, turn left again, turn left again. Just go around the block. Go around the block. Go around the block. Notice this happens to me a lot in Miami.
Starting point is 00:39:07 It does happen to me too. I have wondered why don't you just go an extra corner and just drive right back around. It's not a big deal. Or like the people that like will miss it and then they'll try to back up and it's like, just go around the block. Just go around the block.
Starting point is 00:39:17 You miss an exit on an expressway, just get off on the next exit. Don't do a U-turn. Get back on. Like don't go across four lanes. Just get off on the next one. Yes. Get back on, come back. It's a lot safer. The don't go across four lanes. Just get off on the next one, get back on, come back. That's another one.
Starting point is 00:39:26 It's a lot safer. The people that cut across four lanes of traffic at the last minute. I mean, when's that next exit? Cause I gotta go. A mile. I mean, a lot of these, it's like a mile. A mile and a half.
Starting point is 00:39:34 Yeah, you're not like driving to Orlando. Although we're at Notre Dame, if you're driving to Notre Dame from Chicago and you miss the Notre Dame exit, you're on the highway for another 15 miles before the next exit. It is gonna set you back yeah you can that space where you're trying to go past the EHA junction and oh fuck you can't talk about you had junction again I'm over that place it does happen though in Florida
Starting point is 00:39:57 you're right you get stuck on the turnpike and the next exit is like magic kingdom no you just got to do a u-turn through that grassy gnoll situation. Enough with grassy gnolls. Yeah, geez Louise. Overrated. Can I give you guys a topic? I don't know if Taylor wants to talk about something else. That last transition was so smooth,
Starting point is 00:40:13 I think we should let Taylor get it. We need to talk about something. No, Taylor, you go. All right. I was gonna update you on our WNBA Fantasy League at work. You can do that. Well, here's the situation. I'm in the championship against Coogler and Rose.
Starting point is 00:40:27 Rose didn't make the championship. No she didn't. She started the league so she could draft Caitlin Clark. Just for that reason. And then accidentally benched Caitlin Clark for the playoffs. Correct. And now is not in contention anymore. That is so Rose.
Starting point is 00:40:37 Is that correct? She's been eliminated but she came to me privately because I told her like, Rose you're in the playoffs, what are you doing? You gotta play, oh there's Rose. Rose you gotta play, you gotta play Caitlin, like what are you doing? You're gonna be eliminated from the playoffs. She's like, you're in the playoffs, what are you doing? You gotta play, oh there's Rose. Rose you gotta play, you gotta play Caitlyn, like what are you doing? You're gonna be eliminated from the playoffs.
Starting point is 00:40:48 She's like I'm in the playoffs, I'm like Rose come on, we gotta pay attention. And then she felt this extreme amount of guilt that she cost Caitlyn another championship that she offered to trade Caitlyn to my team so that Caitlyn could win a championship. And I'm very conflicted on whether I should make that trade or not.
Starting point is 00:41:03 You should make the trade, it's Coogler. Rose come on in. Who does Kugler have on his team? By the way Chris Cody another thing you should have taken my advice for you were asking about WNBA draft And I said Nafisa Collier. She's gonna play every game. She was the one that I was like I'll call dibs on but I haven't really checked My team a lot of being honest. Well you're welcome for the good tip It's your fault you didn't listen to me or maybe you did that time. Rose, what are your thoughts on all this? You got a mic yourself? What was the question again? Sorry? Oh, come on. Just why'd you bench Katelyn Clark? We don't punch in the face
Starting point is 00:41:38 No, no Billy did on purpose because he was Do you know that you were in the playoffs? I'm'm like, no. Oh yeah, a week ago. I'm like, buddy, you should have told me a week ago. So he just decided to. Classic Rose. Aren't you the commissioner? Right, that is off-point. That's neither here nor there, okay.
Starting point is 00:41:58 That is out of the point, but. So I told him to take a look at this. How do you feel about U-turns, Rose? U-turn? Yeah. Have you had any driving adventures lately? Not since the drive from Calgary to Edmonton. No, no, no, yeah, no. My drive to Key West, I was stopped by the cops,
Starting point is 00:42:16 but I told them my story and they were like, oh. Wait, was this when you didn't have your wallet? Yeah. Oh, gosh. Oh, no. And what happened? So when I told the police, I don't have my license with me because, well, my wallet was thrown in the dumpster and I'm gonna go find it.
Starting point is 00:42:35 And everything. The audience is not familiar with this story. It's such a random story that the cop's like, all right. Here's just a quick Rose. Rose, and correct me if I'm wrong. For the audience that doesn't know the story, because why would you unless you know Rose. Rose was at a fishing and barbecue tournament
Starting point is 00:42:51 with Jess and Roy. It was starting to rain, so Rose decided that she was, she was gonna store her bag with all of the equipment in a garbage bag so it wouldn't get wet. Be responsible. Low and behold, well, low and behold. Wait, Rose, what happened after that? Low and behold, after Jess warned her that it was going to get picked up as garbage since
Starting point is 00:43:08 it was at a street festival of sorts and it was garbage bag, they sure enough picked up her bag and threw it away in the trash because it was in a garbage bag. Rose left and then I guess at some point realized she didn't have her bag, then had to go back and they had to go through a trash compactor to find the garbage bag that had her stuff and her equipment in it. And somehow, in some miracle, only one piece of equipment got damaged after it went through the trash compactor and she was able to get her stuff back. Can we add one more thing, which is that
Starting point is 00:43:37 it was thrown away with bags full of raw meat from the barbecue contest. Just like raw meat and animal drippings and fat and cuttings and like sauces and like the dead ends of vegetables. What else Rose, what else was on your bag? Yeah, when they gave it to me, it was dripping blood and everything. Meat, meat juice.
Starting point is 00:43:58 It was dripping blood, the bag? Yeah, because it was meat juice and everything. Meat juice. It's blood, bro. So you got pulled over and you used, you told the cop about your situation and he believed you. the bag? Yeah, because it was meat juice and everything. Meat juice. It's blood, bro. So you got pulled over and you told the cop about your situation and he believed you. And he was like, I'm just gonna give you a warning, but if you can slow down, I'm like, yes.
Starting point is 00:44:14 How fast were you driving? I was 45 in a 35. Two Americas, am I right, Roy? Yeah, 10 miles per hour to get you for that. 45 in a 35? Yeah. The thing is- 45 in a 35? Yeah. The thing is, this is my theory. My theory is that because in Key West
Starting point is 00:44:29 there's nothing happening, they're bored. Exactly. Only thing they do- Especially this time of year. They were getting ready for Jimmy Buffett's anniversary party of his death. It's to stop people. All right, thank you, Rose.
Starting point is 00:44:43 You've been dismissed. You're gonna see you on the hockey show sometime. Thank you, Rose. You've been dismissed. All right. You're gonna see on the hockey show sometime. Yeah. That means listening to go through my topics list. Yeah. What else you got? Um, have you ever met somebody out and apologize for Dan or something that this show did? Because I'll buy time for you. I went to Texas A and M this weekend with Lucy and I saw Reese Davis out on the sideline and was talking to him. ["Look at Me, Louise"]
Starting point is 00:45:14 And when I saw Reese Davis, I said, hey, I just want to apologize for Dan. You're a lot more than a traffic cop and it embarrassed me. But why would you bring that up? You volunteered that. Cool. Well, I said, hey, I'm You valedir'd that? Why would you bring that up? That's not cool. Well I said, hey, I'm from the Dan Levitart show, and he said, I love those guys,
Starting point is 00:45:29 so then I said, hey, you're a lot more than a traffic cop. No look, Taylor texted me this and sent me videos of this, and was like, he loved it. Yes he did. Taylor's perception is that Reese loved this, and in the video, Reese is just playing the game, like you could have said anything to him there. You were videoing him while you were talking to him.
Starting point is 00:45:46 He just gave you the standard like, ha ha, nice man. Like you could have told him, like I broke into your car before I came into the stadium and he would have been like, ah ha, my man. To answer your question, Taylor, yes. I won't say who it was, but it was a family member of someone that Dan has a very contentious relationship with who I met, found out where I worked and
Starting point is 00:46:06 There was like an awkward just ten second pause and then I was like yeah, sorry I I didn't work there when all that stuff happened But anyways like cool to meet you Ronnie I love Dan, but Reese Davis. Oh no. He's a legend Reese Davis would be my guy Yeah, I also had a similar moment actually where you just like what is that you would choose Reese over Dan I love Dan, but Reese Davis. Oh no, he's a legend. Reese Davis would be my guy. I also had a similar moment actually with- Did you just like say that you would choose Reese over Dan?
Starting point is 00:46:29 What does that mean, he would be my guy? I also had a similar moment. When David Sampson was in Miami, he asked, hey Taylor, do you want to go to this heat game? Oh yeah, you went with Pablo. Pablo, me, Juju, and Sampson. And I said, I'll gladly take the ticket, but first I just have to preface this, I'm a Jeter guy.
Starting point is 00:46:48 Like, if Derek Jeter ever came to this studio and was like, hey, you have to choose a side, me or Samson, I'm a Jeter guy. I don't think you have to preface it with that. Yeah, you don't have to bring it up. With Samson, like, I'll still go to the game with you. I think Samson was appreciative that, at least I was forthcoming.
Starting point is 00:47:04 You were honest. That I'm a Jeter guy I don't you don't have to be yeah I don't think anyone walks around the earth wondering if someone's a Jeter guy or not as if Samson's walking around like man I like this kid, but I hope he's not a Jeter guy. How does he feel about Derek Jeter? If it came out later like oh this guy would pick Derek Jeter over me, but I invited him a game Samson No, I think it's good to be up front. Yeah, I think it's I think I'm with Taylor on this one gotta be up Billy Why are you shaking your head? Do not you gotta go up and say something like that like this person that you dislike?
Starting point is 00:47:30 I'm really you know if things get serious You don't want to have to wait and then they find out later what feels like a betrayal in what world? What is the scenario in this world? That's gonna come up that then David Samson gets mad at you for being a fan of Derek Jeter over. If in this hypothetical situation, Sampson walks into a room and he's about to fight Derek Jeter and he's like Taylor. At the heat game tonight.
Starting point is 00:47:53 Yes, and Taylor is behind me on my side. You played out in this head, in your head, in this head, your head, that Derek Jeter is gonna be at this heat game, David Sampson's gonna walk in and he's immediately gonna say it's time to fight, Taylor you with me and then you're gonna say no and you're gonna punch David Samson because you're a cheater guy. He's gonna look behind him and be like where's Taylor and then he's gonna look back and be like oh now Taylor's
Starting point is 00:48:15 standing behind Derek Cheater. At least I was forthcoming and saying like hey if if this ever happens. This is crazy logic. I'm going to be on that side. Or like in a situation where a photographer comes in and they're going to take a picture of you with Samson and they're gonna say, hey, by the way, we send all the pictures of people with David Samson to Derek Jeter so he knows who's on his side or not. Yeah, that makes more sense. You can say, I'm gonna step out,
Starting point is 00:48:43 I don't wanna be in this photo, but go ahead. Yes. And in that case, Samson already knows. Derek Jeter just hires a photographer to take pictures with Samson to know who's on his side. Or if somehow I ever meet Derek Jeter and Derek Jeter is like, hey, weren't you at the basketball game with Samson? I could preface it by saying, yes, but but I told Sampson beforehand. Exactly, yes.
Starting point is 00:49:05 I'm a cheater guy. Yeah, bring that up to me. Yeah, I think you've got this thing figured out. Yeah. I apologize, I'm wrong. You handled this the right way. I think you handled it the right way. And you know what?
Starting point is 00:49:16 I bet Reese loved that. I bet Reese was like, hey, thank you. I'm not just a traffic cop. I have my own opinions. I have my own dreams. I don't live here just to tell Kirk Herb Street when it's his turn or Dez when it's his turn. I'm Reese, god damn it.
Starting point is 00:49:30 I call games too. Yeah. Can I ask you guys a question, a behind the bit of sorts? Oh, okay. Taylor, and I feel like the answer is gonna be it was you. That Ted Cruz video with Lucy, was that you? You were the cameraman?
Starting point is 00:49:43 Filming it, yes. how did that play out? Did like, did he do a walk past before so you knew that was coming and you timed it perfectly? Or it was just a coincidence that you were filming then you catch him and then you turned to Lucy? We saw him on the sideline. So we were on the Notre Dame sideline and we could see him walking behind the benches
Starting point is 00:50:02 because there was like a mob of people, mob of security with him. And as he was walking, me and Lucy kind of looked at each other at the same time was like, let's record this. I didn't know what she was going to do when I, when I pan to her. So great improv skills. I texted you. I was like, Hey dude, no one's talking about you. You're the guy that shot that thing. It was good camera work for sure. I also, I didn't realize how that went viral until you texted me the screenshot from the Newsweek article that was like we reached out to Senator Cruz and Lucy Rodin for comment and have not heard back. The Jimmy
Starting point is 00:50:33 Kimmel show reached out I'm pretty sure asking for permission from the video. Oh wow. Well they asked Lucy for permission. But you took the video. It's your video. Yeah Lucy called me and was like hey the Jimmy Kimmel show might reach out to you. I was like just tell them they don't need much you play hardball be like No, I wouldn't even know where to set that Would you just float that out there? Hey, we're willing to pay you interview me on the show. No, no, don't do that Why not fly me out? Let me start talking about his Story again, wait, would you go on Jimmy Fallon? Be like, hey, I just want you to know I'm a Kimmel guy. Yeah
Starting point is 00:51:08 Would you tell Kim of Kimmel books you what like revelation do you have to tell Jimmy Kimmel right away? I don't really I wouldn't pick a side in the late night talk show really Well, you would be terrible on the dead love it hard show then cuz I'm very Very defiant on my Derek cheater like you grow up in New York you grow up wanting to be Derek cheater Yeah, all right, so how would we great? That's a good question that is a really good You know what this the Sigmund and Roy yeah brought it that was before that Field Sigfield and right think Frieden Roy that, we were looking at like a C plus.
Starting point is 00:51:45 I'm gonna bump him up to like a B. That was a really solid revelation that you almost saw someone get mauled by a tiger. And we had the revelation of the coach. Yeah. I'm gonna have to give it an A plus for mystery crate. Wow. We had a mean, great limited fake with the tiger.
Starting point is 00:52:00 So you're taking credit for that too, okay, good. I mean, it was from his revelation. We had a Jess doing a fake tailor Taylor which we wouldn't have done a Taylor Yeah, I'm talking about driving around the corner. Yeah, probably the best topic of the day I think you're the MVP of this episode Taylor, and I don't think we need Mike Funtas back Yeah, I wasn't gonna say that but there is the case as you all are familiar with famous Yankee story Right Wally Pip Wally Pip came to the ballpark one day, had a headache. The guy that replaced him, Lou Gehrig.
Starting point is 00:52:28 Wow. I was hoping you were gonna sell us another Yankee story that was not Wally Pip, if I'm gonna be 100% honest with you. Okay, goodbye. That's the only one I had in my bag. We still have two minutes, Roy. We got two minutes left. This week on DNF, Spencer and I had an interview
