Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to Giraffe King's Network. Maple syrup, we love you, but Canada is way more. It's poutine mixed with kimchi, maple syrup on hollow hollow, Montreal style bagels eaten in Brandon, Manitoba. Here we take the best from one side of the world and mix it with the other. And you can shop that whole world right here in our aisles. Find it all here with more ways to save at Real Canadian Superstore. Dad, how surprised were you to see a Hee Haw 3 shirt out in the wild at the Final Four?
Starting point is 00:00:48 It was great. Lucy took a picture of a guy wearing a Hee Haw 3 shirt. No, it was a delight and a thoroughly unexpected delight. I don't know how many of those we've sold, but it's probably a pretty modest number. And to see one in the wild was great didn't Lucy tweet that out Thank you, Lucy. I appreciate it wasn't worth David Samson threatening legal action over It was worth it it was worth it. Yeah, you were telling Yeti And I you want to go after Samson for something. What are you on go go to Dan directly?
Starting point is 00:01:22 What are you what were you complaining about on the Greg Cody show this week? Well, I mean the Greg Cody co the Greg Cody show featuring Greg Cody with yeah with but Thank you No, I I was blistering the Levitard merch store and and I know you don't deal with that You're above that level, but I don't know whose decision it was to come out with David shirt called the, what was it called, the insistence of incompetence or... Persistence. The persistence of incompetence with my likeness in a melting clock. Now, the melting clock
Starting point is 00:01:59 is an homage to Salvador Dali. Yeah, it's the persistence of memory is the name of the artwork. Exactly. But to call it persistence of incompetence and target me for it, I'm offended by it. And I, you know... Fake outrage. No, he thinks everything is fake outrage. He doesn't believe that I really enjoyed the eclipse and now he thinks I'm faking this. Why would I fake this? I'm insulted by that. Okay, I don't think of myself as incompetent, and I don't like it bugled on a t-shirt that's for sale. Ha ha!
Starting point is 00:02:30 Look, let's make Greg the butt of a joke. He's incompetent. Why? Because they trick him into missing a hard network out every once in a while. You know, it's skull-duggery. I think the Libertard Show should cease cease and desist and remove that from the shelves of the online store. Trick you, we trick you. I wore a clock on a hat for several years in order to help you not miss the network. Back then, I was a novice in this industry.
Starting point is 00:02:58 I was a print journalism, a scribe with ink on his hands. I come into a whole new world. I'm trying to learn how to dip my beak into a mic and talk and make checkpoints and clocks all over the place, willy nilly. Not all over the place, just on my hat. I agree with Greg. Greg, I never get to see you on Tuesdays.
Starting point is 00:03:19 And being here and watching them do this to you live, it really, ugh, it's like a knife in my heart. Okay, thank you, Jess. No, I appreciate that. You reminded me last segment. When we talk about real outrage and fake outrage, you were really unmasked there, Jessica. You were really betrayed.
Starting point is 00:03:40 When we talk about fake outrage, how common is it, Chris? I don't know the rest of you reacted the same way i did when he was in the presence of memory after chris cody and did so by calling him junior all of us reacted the same way there is that something that he often does chris this was a earlier in the show let's play that sound okay junior yeah he's that out a handful with me. That's his go-to when he's trying to listen young whippersnapper Yeah, okay, Jr. The father is officially allowed to refer to his son as Jr. It's not even considered
Starting point is 00:04:18 It's not a Greg. He's not a junior. He's Chris. He's not a no if you call him a junior, and he's not a junior It is absolutely a pejorative Disagree no, I'm daddy. I'm allowed to call my kid junior sometimes. I refer to him as a as a drifter Hey drifter. Hey, don't enough of that. I know what I wish I did Now you will Drifter yeah somebody somebody who doesn't have a home and roams the highways. Like a rail hobo. Right, a drifter.
Starting point is 00:04:53 That's a great nickname. And you use it in a mildly negative context. Like if it says something I don't agree with, I'm like, drifter, get your facts straight. You've never said that to me before. before I know but I'm incorporating it. Where's something to write on? right say Drifter yeah, okay. We're good. You think that calling him jr When he's not a jr. He's not Greg Cody jr. He's literally I'm his creator mm-hmm Titles me to certain language. You can take him out of this world, you know what I mean? Brought him into it, take him out. He wouldn't exist if it weren't for me.
Starting point is 00:05:33 I'm his creator is somehow more condescending than calling him Junior. Why? It's the truth. He used to be Greg Seaman, Dan. Yeah, I didn't do it alone. My wife was involved, but still.
