Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to Giraffe King's Network. I'm not sure if I planned on revealing this much today, but I've revealed a lot today. Probably the grossest one was my face from October of 2021. Chris is shaking his head because he must be thinking of an uncircumcised penis Which is going to be all on your computer for the rest of time by the way after my algorithm. Yeah It's been looking up Dildos all day. Oh boy. This is a terrible transition, but Lucy Almost busted up her face this weekend too, and I'm just wondering if it would have been uglier or Probably not as bad as mine. I definitely would not have made it out of this. So I was on a little walk and it was raining.
Starting point is 00:00:49 Yeah, I love a little, well, not as much anymore. It was like, wow. Like a little hot girl walk, right? A hot? Yeah, a hot. So I was on a little hot girl walk and it was raining. And it's important that it was raining because I had my umbrella.
Starting point is 00:01:06 My umbrella is very colorful. It's like purple and orange. It's a bright campus in umbrella. So the fun thing about Miami drivers is they don't yield left ever. They don't look if other cars are coming and they don't look if they're a pedestrian. Especially left.
Starting point is 00:01:22 Yes. So if they're turning left, they're just going to go. They're not going to look. So I'm crossing the street. I have the right of way. And I look to my right. Here's someone's scream. And a giant trolley bus is like five feet away from ending
Starting point is 00:01:38 my life. And it was so embarrassing. Everybody saw me almost get hit by this bus, even though it wasn't my fault at all, especially because I was so colorful, there's no way you could have missed me, so I just kept walking. I did not acknowledge that it happened. This lady was like, are you all right? And I just kept going. So I went like a block pass and I turned back and realized that I guess when the trolley bus almost hit me, it triggered like the emergency break and it was stuck. Oh, and so I stayed and I
Starting point is 00:02:06 watched and for about 20 minutes this toy bus was stuck in the middle of the intersection from when it almost killed me. It's firing your work. Yeah, I was. Captain Chaos over there. You just created this mess and then turn around. I thought I was walking where I was allowed to walk. I was crossing the street and they did not look and they went real fast in this turn. And if I had like been a second slower, I probably would not be here. Those things aren't our rails. No, it was like what are the little buses? Oh, that looks like a fake curly bus.
Starting point is 00:02:34 What kind of damage would it have done if it didn't? I, the way the woman screamed and how close it was to me, I don't think I would have gotten something like this. So she was screaming because she almost got hit or she was screaming to protect you. He saved your life. No, she didn't save my life. It was one of those things where it was like the horror of the situation or she just realized that she almost saw me die.
Starting point is 00:02:53 And I didn't even realize it like I, you know, it was coming. It was there and I just kept going. And then probably like three minutes later is when my body realized that I had almost died and I could like feel it in my chest. But then I just watched the traffic jam that I cost. And this was like- You would have died, you would have really hated Miami.
Starting point is 00:03:11 Yeah, it was a very Miami moment. It was also like 6 p.m. so terrible time. But if you got stuck in traffic, that was probably not bad. You know more, was that, you said that was the weekend? Yeah. So like Saturday? Sure. So on a call, it's about Saturday, you said that was the weekend? Yeah. So like Saturday? Sure. So on a college football Saturday,
Starting point is 00:03:27 do you actually leave the house or do you stay home? No. The only time I ever left the house was kind of cool. Iowa had lost and I was really sad. So I went, so I went for a little walk. Another hot girl walk? Yeah, but it was a sad girl walk. And because I was picking up dinner and I ran into Adam's hand there.
Starting point is 00:03:40 And that was cool. Wait, was he dressed like a lesbian? He was dressed, yeah, he pretty much had the exact same outfit. Why was that sad? No, Iowa had lost, so I was on my sad girl's law. He saw Adam Sandler. What was he doing in Iowa? No, this was in LA.
Starting point is 00:03:52 Oh, more like Adam's sadler. Yeah. Oh boy. I think he could sense my pain. So sometimes I do leave the house and then you have a cool moment like that. What about it? The most of the time I don't. Can you just play the white guy sound real quick?
Starting point is 00:04:03 That was the lightest. I've five I've ever seen Hey man, I explained how you dab last week So you explained it Yeah, I explained it over the air How long are your walks for? Oh, I'm a walker Yeah, I was reading about how we've kind of lost the 10,000 step fed I think
Starting point is 00:04:22 I don't think people are doing that I need my 10,000 steps anymore That they used to do every day I like track my steps. I usually get to 10,000 every day, but like It's it's not the same in Miami because it's too hot But when I lived in LA if it was within like two two and a half miles, I would walk up I have no point of reference when people talk about their steps because it's somebody's like, oh wow 2010 I'm like that's fantastic great job. I like no, I should be at a 10 walk Who in a half miles?
Starting point is 00:04:45 Yeah, I would walk. Just for fun. Yeah, I'd love to walk. I like love walking. Why? I don't know. You ever say, like, man, I got two and a half miles to go, so I've been a jog.
Starting point is 00:04:56 There have been a couple times where I'm like, shit, do I go on over back home? Like, I've never done it, because it's usually, like, I get so embarrassed. Because if I'm willing to walk that far, I should walk back. But you get embarrassed by I'm sorry, just yourself. Yeah. Like because you're the only person who knows that you walked there. Yeah, but it's like I committed to it.
Starting point is 00:05:16 And I'm not today self. Yeah. And also there have been a few times where I'm like I cannot spend $20 on an overback. That makes me just have to walk. Yeah, two and a half miles. That's like a good hour, almost, right? Yeah. I used to walk to the craft store. It was like two miles away. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:05:33 And then you came back with a bag full of craft. And sometimes I would like walk to the store and underestimate how much I need. I do have a giant crayon. But Billy, crayon. Yeah. Oh wow. Crayon. Crayon. Yeah. Oh, wow. Crayon. Yeah, I'm a crayon guy.
Starting point is 00:05:47 You're a mirror, you're a mirror in crayon guy. I heard you pronounce mirror mirror and crayon crayon. Well, are you happy that you have a crazy person I am? You have that. No, it's just, no, it's, you're not a crazy person. I say both wrong, wrong too, apparently. That's how you nailed it. Well, I, Mike has changed me, scarred me when I first worked here years ago.
Starting point is 00:06:05 He's like, how do you say, I said both. Yeah, because it's a curious, I'm not telling you, you're wrong, it's just not a way of speaking that, it's not regionalized. It's not regional, like you don't sound like a South Floridian. You sound like everything about a British accent. And I don't know if it's all British accents or if it's some region, but when they say like fourth, instead of T8s, they just do another F like back and forth, back and forth.
Starting point is 00:06:28 That one's my favorite, but I'm curious for Billy now that you have Pablo around every once in a while, do you feel like you have a brother in your soft tease because he's a softie as well. He does the buttons instead of buttons. Yeah. I've noticed. I've honestly, I saw you guys high five last week and say softy brothers. Yeah, exactly I've just tried to remove any reference to that word from my language all together
Starting point is 00:06:51 Like I will just never talk about anything involving that word If I feel like it's coming up. I'll just change the subject or I'll talk about something else He also enunciates when you get a guided when you go somewhere at a museum and you get a guided Billy tour tour tour it's tour and you go somewhere at a museum and you get a guided, Billy. Tour. Tour. Tour? It's tour. I think Billy is actually, Billy's actually saying it correctly,
Starting point is 00:07:09 but most people I think just say tour. Tour? No, I was just saying it right away. I think this is another crazy type of an tour. Yeah, I'm not saying language lessons from Cody. When you, everyone heard Billy did it and everyone was like, oh, that is kind of odd. And now all of a sudden, it's back on me all of a sudden.
Starting point is 00:07:23 No, everyone's going on tour. Everyone says tour. Tour. Tour. Tour is not tour. Yeah, that is kind of odd. And now all of a sudden, it's back on me, all of a sudden. No, everyone's going on tour. Everyone says tour. Tour. Tour. Tour is not tour. Tour. Yeah, he says it's funny. Yeah, it says tour.
Starting point is 00:07:32 You're saying it's the correct one. I do say Jaguar. No. Jaguar. I said tour and Mike looked at me like, you see, Jaguar doing it again. It drives me crazy. Crazy.
Starting point is 00:07:40 It's not a car. It's like four. Tour, four. Right? Yeah. I say tour. do you say tour one two three four hmm when you play golf if you hit a bad shot or the left hat's on Billy you idiot you caramel. I said caramel. Can't just shut the door when you hear me.
Starting point is 00:08:07 Whoa. Oh, wow. You got a call back earlier in the week. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. God. Wait, not you Billy. Me? For what? I thought Chris asked you a question. Oh, no, we were just talking about caramel or caramel over here. Yeah, caramel. What do you say caramel? It's caramel. It's not caramel. It'samel. It's not caramel. It's caramel.
Starting point is 00:08:25 It's not caramel. It's not caramel. It's caramel. That's how you would say I say caramel. There's a whole letter here, man. It's a caramel. Like, it's caramel. Caramel.
Starting point is 00:08:33 I say caramel, but like in the South, the caramel. Caramel. Caramel. Caramel sounds like car, car, car, caramel. You almost have to say like caramel in your mouth. Yeah. Caramel. Caramel. It's kind of the same it like you have caramel in your mouth. Carom, carom. It's kind of the same way, like we say,
Starting point is 00:08:48 the state I-L-L-I-N-O-I-S, you have to say it like you're drunk. Illinois. Illinois. Yeah. You could just say Illinois, that's like Louisville. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:57 Louisville, I can't say that. I do say Louisville. Louisville. Louisville. You say who? Louisville. Louisville. I like saying Louisville. I'm'm part of why you don't say it like that I do you make yourself say yes, that's exactly what I do say like that. No, but I do say it like that now
Starting point is 00:09:11 Well, that's like what he's saying controversy. Well, yeah, well, he's not just when someone has just stupid We didn't get to it, but he saw the Barbie movie by himself and we were very concerned like that's not the one It's gonna see Barbie by yourself. What is dialect is all learned behaviors? I guess you could say that about anybody, but like that's not the one. It's gonna see Barbie by yourself. When he's dialect is all learned behaviors, I guess you could say that about anybody, but he grew up in South Florida. No one says Rose Ed, ever.
Starting point is 00:09:31 No, ever. No. He's Colombian for heaven's sake. For heaven's sake. And he says Rose Ed. He taught himself to do that. Now, would a why? And about a why?
Starting point is 00:09:40 Yeah, I told myself to do it, but people pronounce it that way. Like especially in South Florida, you'll hear people say, about a why, yeah, I told myself to do it, but people pronounce it that way. Like especially in South Florida, you'll hear people say, by the way, who do why? I've never run into anyone saying Rose Ed. Chris, did you see, did you catch it, Mike McDaniel? Has clearly been listening to the show?
Starting point is 00:09:54 Because he dropped, henceforth during his press conference the other day. That's fun. I circled it and sent it to Mike. He's affecting local a local coding. I got a lot of text. I got a lot of crap for henceforth. I think it's an effective use of vocabulary. It is. But then when you say it away, Chris says it. It's just efficient. It's sufficient.
Starting point is 00:10:18 From here on out, I don't like henceforth. It's just like quick. But you got to give it the old school accent. You can't take it. It's worth. Yeah, there you go. We're all on Bridgetin or something. You guys think Mike McDaniel's in a similar, stately situation where it's like,
Starting point is 00:10:34 eh, not even close. No, worse have of the season was cute. And then people got figured it out. Maybe, I mean, I think he's a bad year away from being in that conversation. But after last year, I think everyone is thrilled with McDaniel right now. What do people figure out about him? His Q play stopped working when two is not there.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Well, yeah, one in Skylar Thompson is difficult. Yeah. Or unless it's the first play, then two, I can't do it either. But do you think he's just going to like allow, let people know that he vapes now? Or is he still going to think like admit that that's not a thing? I really hope he eventually just makes it clear to everybody that he's a vape guy. Sounds like Billy's dollfout. No, I mean, I don't know what to do because I can't wear my two adjures anymore.
Starting point is 00:11:10 It's in a frame. So do I buy another one? Why don't you frame it? Kim, can you sign it? You know what to do? You cut holes in the frame. What? I got two two at sign football.
Starting point is 00:11:20 No, Chris is right. Where is his right? Where's your arm to the picture? Put your head through the frame. Why did he about that? Where are you arms to the picture? Put your head through the frame. Why did you do that? It's a wire to hang it. So I guess I could just put it around my neck and walk around.
Starting point is 00:11:30 And I got me. Yeah. It's a two-o-butt safer version of two. You can't actually concuss him. You just protect a good. You really framed it just because he signed it? Yeah. Two might actually be safer if he wore like a...
Starting point is 00:11:42 Francher's eat through a frame. I don't think so. There's glass involved. It's probably a lot of stuff. I'm a family disagree. Yeah, probably. Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and say it's way more. Way more danger. So I'm like McDaniel on a hot seat.
Starting point is 00:11:56 Situation way more dangerous to be surrounded by potential shards of glass. It's a funny visual that falling for a living. Yeah. Well, he rolls. Now he doesn't fall said, hut. Like, like, through the, I've got anyway, It's a funny visual that's falling for a living. Yeah. Well, he rolls now. He doesn't fall. Said, hut.
Starting point is 00:12:06 Like, through the, I've got, anyway. We'll say. And it's fourth, it will be protected. There's nothing I'm now down to eighth on my list of co-hosts because I have been well
