Starting point is 00:00:00 Mike, good whistling day. Yeah, the weather has been nice after the rain came in. VAC's been fixed. You're cooking right now. I'm gonna lay out. I was thinking of doing a shadow show where I would just whistle for you and then you'd be like, oh, good whistling day.
Starting point is 00:00:18 You taught me how to whistle. I did. What if you did, hey, tried doing, okay, this is something else I learned online. So put your mouth in a whistling thing and then whisper the letter Q. but change sort of the pressures on your lips. I did it.
Starting point is 00:00:35 No. That was me. No. Everybody else, lay out. You're saying, you can. Yeah, not a good whistle. That's not a good one for you.
Starting point is 00:00:48 Well, it's a tricky way to do it. I mean. Yeah, it is. That one's tougher than a normal way. But you just whistle. I mean, I think it only works for people who know how to whistle. So when you do it, you're just like, oh, well. I was forcing the whistle, too.
Starting point is 00:01:00 The Q thing didn't really work. Yeah, okay. That wasn't terrible. That's about as good as you can get from Sue. Thank you. Yep. I am told Jeremy has a top five list of topics he'd like to bring up on this show, but no one would buy it. Yeah, that's right.
Starting point is 00:01:18 Just things I saw over the weekend where I was like, oh, that's interesting. And then I realized immediately that I shouldn't put it down as a topic because none of you would talk about it with me. This show will do that to you. No doubt about it. go ahead. Let's hear, well, is he have something? No, I don't. I was just counting. Does this exclude topics you've already brought up or no?
Starting point is 00:01:38 Yeah, a little. So you cross those off and then you replace them with like OLIs or whatever. Right. Well, the other things I... It's a fresh five is what Billy is asking. Yeah, it is a fresh five. That was my best discretion on stuff I thought you might like so you can only imagine how much you're not going to like
Starting point is 00:01:53 any of this. Curious to see if you've learned. O-L-I. Right. Per monitoring the future's data, the amount of young men between 8th grade and 10th grade, believing in gender equality and equal pay, have plummeted since 2018. Give me that age group again? Oh, well, I, 12 years ago this week, roar by Katie Perry and applause by Lady Gaga were released in the same week, sparking the glee episode, Katie or Gaga. How did you imagine that?
Starting point is 00:02:29 conversation going? Like this one. Number five. Was the Glee episode airing that week also? It was like, I think, just a couple weeks later. They really just turned it around. Wow. There's some volume. Look at you. It was pretty quick, pretty impressive. Didn't age very well. Big one. Not really a competition there. No, not at all. It's pretty crazy when you look back at it. Oh, another OLLI. Oh. CBO research shows that Trump's big beautiful bill shows the bottom 20% getting poorer, not much change for most of America, and the top 10% getting meaningfully richer. The largest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in a single law in American history. All right, number five.
Starting point is 00:03:07 Demi Lovato reuniting with the Jonas Brothers at a concert. Pretty exciting, right? I saw of it. Yeah, it was pretty awesome. They played some old songs. This is real. This is me. It was pretty exciting.
Starting point is 00:03:18 I did watch Camp Rock the other day. Did you actually? Yeah. It was on at the hotel. That was one of the songs. It's a great movie. They sang at the concert. I'm more of like a descendant zombies guy now.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Yeah. But a tip of the hat to the old guard. All right. I'll take that. That's as much engagement as I could have possibly hoped for. Number four, Supreme Court's going to take away gay marriage. Hey, we kind of told you this was coming. Guys, they're going to take a look at it.
Starting point is 00:03:46 Yeah, they're going to do it. Which, speaking of... See, what's what? Number three, fascisms totally and completely back. They're militarizing the police department. department in D.C., which, you know, that's what you do when you're a fascist regime as you militarize the police force in other areas and make them preach your ideals and arrest your political opponents.
Starting point is 00:04:08 I'm going to be vulnerable right here. We've had months and months of me hearing that word. No clue what it means. Yeah. That actually tracks. You'd be surprised. Stu and I had a lengthy conversation about this before the show. Really?
Starting point is 00:04:21 No, no, not at all. Yep. Number two. Was that Geffron and Camp Rock? No, that's high school musical. musical. That's one that you like. Yeah, high school musical, that's a great one. You got to say back jack, and then there would have been more buy-in was a thing on that one. I would think if fascism is back, Jack. I would think someone who's a fascist.
Starting point is 00:04:39 Well, hold on. He's really good with fashion. Hold on. I'm glad you said that. I'm glad you said that because I was just going to ask you, what do you think, if we were to ask you, Chris Cody, what is fascism? Oh, I just figured that's what I would have. Got it. Jeremy, very fascisty. Yeah, Jeremy's a fascist. Yes. Number two. The Last Culturistas Awards. Anybody? Oh, I saw that was a thing. It was really good. Oh, buy it.
Starting point is 00:05:06 Page the Sorbonne Cool Girl a year, right? Yeah. Ben Platt sang a beautiful stripped-down version of Diet Pepsi by Addison Ray that has now shot that song up the charts because everybody's streaming it. Beautiful. You should listen to the rendition. Did you guys, speaking of award shows, see the VMAs are going to be on CBS this year? Really?
Starting point is 00:05:24 Yeah, they keep just announcing VMAs on CBS. Yeah, and part of the lead-up is MTV goes to its original wall-to-wall music video programming two weeks of the lead-up. So, Chris, you just think every time you turn on CNN, they're talking about fashionistas? Nah, I knew that it didn't mean that, but I'm just like, I always hear the word. I'm like, it's not good. It doesn't sound good. So it was bad fashion. Right. Number one, baseball.
Starting point is 00:05:49 I'm so glad we got here.
