Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to Giraffe King's Network. So you guys see the Facebook post on the NBA? I don't know Facebook. Are you still on Facebook? I'm not. Oh, get ready. But I saw the post. I used to look for marketplace.
Starting point is 00:00:23 Mm-hmm. You get real good stuff on there. You really? You buying or selling? Yeah, I'm ready, but I saw the post. I used to prefer marketplace. Mm-hmm. You get real good stuff on there. You really? Buying or selling? Yeah, great question. Lucy, are you so young that Facebook was never cool for you? No, Facebook, I had unsupervised internet access as a kid. What is that mean?
Starting point is 00:00:36 My parents just like, let me use the internet. They never looked at what I was doing. They were just like, go ahead. I don't think we really knew what it was at the time. So I had a Facebook very early. Facebook was really big for me in the middle school. All of your parents, like 19? There's no basketball, where she was.
Starting point is 00:00:49 No, they were, they were a lot older. Just Chris Paul. They just didn't understand the internet so they didn't realize there were bad things on it, but I was a really good kid so I didn't really abuse the power. Lucy told me off here, and I don't know if I'm supposed to say this, but whatever, we're here.
Starting point is 00:01:02 There's, she has. She has one of the greatest Etsy shops I've ever heard of. It's not active right now, so I'm supposed to say this, but whatever, or here, there's she has, she has one of the greatest Etsy shops I've ever heard of. Um, it's not active right now. So I'm sorry, I can't place any orders, but I do like to paint college football coaches onto purses. Such a great gig. That is so bizarre. Can you see an example?
Starting point is 00:01:16 Yeah, let me find a picture. I have a great like Bob's between your bag. The Bobby Patrino one is amazing. Yeah, it's awesome. I'll find it. It'll probably take a minute. It's not the Virginia Tech Coach celebrating zero zero. Yeah, I got the brand new zero zero.
Starting point is 00:01:33 If I carried a purse, I would buy several. Do you more celebrating zero zero on a purse? Yeah, just like, I do. Wait, I would you paint my money in his hospital bed on a purse for me, please. I tried to do a few freez. It's pretty tough, but I'll work on it. I feel like you and Meena have a growing business, budding business together.
Starting point is 00:01:50 It's so good. I feel like I can't do face-to-face. You don't put it on a purse? Yeah. It's just get-t-t-t-t-t-t. Yeah, which is way more impressive. And I'm not good at faces, so I don't need to just don't give them face-to-face. But that's the best thing about your purses is you can tell exactly who it is without any
Starting point is 00:02:03 sort of, or always, or no-no-no-no-nothing. exactly who it is without any sort of an eye's mouth. Wow. No, it was nothing. I found it. You found it. Yeah, I did. Faster than me. Which one did you find?
Starting point is 00:02:12 I found Lucy painting stuff. Oh, yeah, that's it. But I don't think I... What do you think about the name? Yeah. Okay, so this, I also have a Mike Gundy one, but let me get my Bobby bag. That's my bag. I'm 40.
Starting point is 00:02:22 Yeah. Oh, nice. It's the weirdest hobby. It's still open. It says low stock only one left. Yeah, well, I'm not even trying. Yeah, because I have to make it. I don't just like paint them and sell them. Wait, so you're lying to people?
Starting point is 00:02:34 There's not one left that you just want to make it. There are like, there's a few bags that I have painted that I don't use, so I would sell those. They are low stock. There's zero. The stock is zero. And there's one left meaning that she's willing to make one more they also low stock they're rare if they are rare who's on the one that you don't use my lane kiffin one really that's not even on there the sun burnt lane kiffin I have to him holding a golf ball
Starting point is 00:02:59 okay yeah it's really thank you it's a super odd hobby. I don't know like how it started but this is a Michael Cors purse that presumably costs more than a hundred dollars. Yeah, your art is devaluing it. No, it was a bad. It was really. I'm just saying. This purse costs more than a hundred dollars. You're selling for less. Okay hang around easy to me. Okay, you don't need one. It's Michael Corspell with a C. That might explain it. It was a bag that I didn't use. It turned blue and that's hurtful.
Starting point is 00:03:34 You're not getting a purse. I didn't mean it that way but I'm just, I'm trying to figure out the map. This business isn't working out for you if you're paying more for the purses. I'm not. I normally go, I used to go to Goodwill, but Goodwill's purses are so expensive now that she wants me to go to like, I know, it pisses me off where I'm like going to Goodwill, trying to find a bad, it's like $15.
Starting point is 00:03:53 I'm not spending that. Can I tell you guys how to save money? I love to save money. It's one of my favorite things. I've already turned to you for the copay scams. I go. Copay scams. Yeah, he always enforces me on what's a copay scam
Starting point is 00:04:03 and when I don't need to go to a doctor. Oh, okay. You might be careful with that term co-paste scams after Terrence Williams has got 10 years for some insurance fraud stuff though. Transition. Guys, if you download the chevron app, you get a dollar off for a gallon,
Starting point is 00:04:19 for your next three pumps. My light was on, I say $17 on gas yesterday. It actually works. I couldn't believe that it actually worked I'm on it. That's all or they don't do anything else. They don't require you to do anything else You just sign up. I mean I'm I'm not subscribed to something that you don't know about and am I am I allowed to say I'm an app or I've become an app Or where I just I'll download a bunch of I'll download a bunch of apps if it's gonna save me money I'll just have them on my phone and I'll use them as long as I can get you know
Starting point is 00:04:44 The benefits and then I'll just move on to the next app. I don't think that's how horning works. Is it? I don't know. That level of clutter on my phone I think would be the issue for me though. The idea of just having all of these random apps that I know I don't use. It used to, but now I've just got into the point where you just like go down and you start typing it into the search.
Starting point is 00:05:02 And I don't even care what the pages look like anymore. I don't care except the, except, and we talked about this before, except the Twitter thing still throws me off because I go down and you start typing it into the search. And I don't even care what the pages look like anymore. I don't care, except the, except when we talked about this before, except the Twitter thing still throws me off because I go down and I start typing Twitter. And then it still comes up. It doesn't, I have to type actually to come up. Yeah. Do you remember all the names of the apps?
Starting point is 00:05:16 Cause some apps have like weird names. It's usually like for a store for a place that I'm going is what if I'm looking for the app or like if I'm gonna drive somewhere, I know the name of the app. Look at McDonald's app. What do you mean, McDonald's app? I don't use like 80% you know me and McDonald's. I don't use like 80% of the apps on my phone, probably.
Starting point is 00:05:31 Me too. You're not an app whore, you're an app john. Yeah, that's what I was get to. I'm not trying to save you as much money as Billy, but sometimes if you just like hit the cancel, like on my New York Times cooking subscription, if you hit cancel, they'll just offer it to you at half price. And you can't sell them one more time, they'll offer you even cheaper.
Starting point is 00:05:48 Really? And then you take it. That's a key money saving technique right there. Save me $3 a month, not a month. Except I don't have any apps that I pay for. So New York Times cooking, you should get on it, it's good. Yeah, that's all right. Did you start this segment by wanna talk about something? I did, I did.
Starting point is 00:06:04 So the NBA had this social media person who quit, but apparently still had the logins for the Facebook account. So he decides, zero link, write this post, and I think we can throw it up on the screen for the video audience, for the audio audience. I'll read it to you.
Starting point is 00:06:18 How do I log out of this? Haven't worked here in weeks. Anyway, the NBA overextends its social media employees greatly to the detriment of their health and social lives for a salary less than 50k annually after taxes. I worked 14 hours shifts without breaks I see great. Great. He's going with this. What? I know what it's going to be.
Starting point is 00:06:38 Shout out and that voice is not the leading. That's what you do. I'm just that. How this was written. No. I'm just really shout out Adam silver We don't get health insurance until 90 days on the job That's silly isn't it glad I resigned no need for a job to get in the way of your happiness
Starting point is 00:06:55 Donate the mental health causes peace out emoji Hmm, and it seems like you have a negative feeling. Yeah, it would seem that way. The reading that I understand completely where they're coming from. You're just doing a lot of media. But wow, that's, that's interesting. That's amazing stuff right there. Interesting literature. Well, I just read on that 50k. You just have five boxes.
Starting point is 00:07:17 You're just taking out. Do you just sell? How long did you work for the NBA? Do you finally log out? Do you guys do you guys out? Do you guys remember? Do you guys remember that rock? It's person that like had, they got fired for doing some kind of stuff. But the gun, the gun, the gun emoji.
Starting point is 00:07:31 We hired them for a weekend. That's what I was just getting at because we didn't change the password for a very long time after that. And that rock is employee could have done something like that and could have done whatever they wanted on social media. Yeah, the gun emoji and the horse emoji because it just beat the Mavericks. And because of that uproar, you guys know this? Apple chains the gun emoji.
Starting point is 00:07:49 Used to be an auto gun. And now it's like it's green waters. That's why they changed it. I don't think it's because of that. That was the big, high profile event. I'm also fairly sure that if you search gun on your emojis, the water gun doesn't show up. Really?
Starting point is 00:08:02 You have to search water. Check that I'm right. Because I know I've had the same experience. I think you have to search water for it to come up because Really? You have to search water. Yeah, I'm right. No, I've had the same experience. I think you have to search water for it to come up. Because they don't want you to search texting gun. I'm going to put it over here. So does the arm muscle? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:15 That's been updated. That's not good. I swear there was a time Jeremy confirmed it with a nod. There was a time that you typed in gun and the water gun would not come up. Jeremy has a bad doubt. There was a bad doubt. Is reading internet wrong? Yeah. Jeremy has been there was $5 reading internet wrong. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:25 Jeremy has never, never, ever denied anything. Yeah. It does come up. He is the yes and man. Yes. Jeremy little fantastic in his shirt too, by the way. That's the elephant. Yes I do.
Starting point is 00:08:37 I don't want to address a lot of fresh right now. I feel incredible. Like confidence is the guy. You know what? You know what he says? Yes, everything. He doesn't like to rock the boat I'm a Leah joke. He isn't a junior job remember from earlier. That's not really a should I gotta go I finally saw these purses like you guys were talking about we have images
Starting point is 00:09:03 Please don't reach out. I'm not going to make anymore for a while. They take forever. Yeah, but you could sell. I know the ACC network logo on there too. You could sell so many of them. I like the Bobby Bag better if we have that one. Bobby Bowden or Bob Prattino? Bobby Patrino with the network.
Starting point is 00:09:19 That's cool. I have it. This is my Beamer Bag. My favorite is End deregulation. I would, if I were you, I would reopen this store. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. So, you could retire.
Starting point is 00:09:30 Did you go to retire? I don't know. I can't one or two and then have those shipped off and duplicated and now you got a whole new personal. No, I don't want it like that. Okay. I like, I appreciate the idea, but I like work really hard and it's the fact that it's hand painted.
Starting point is 00:09:46 What is this? Are you one of these people that if someone tries to buy your meal in line in front of you, you're gonna say, no, I waited too long in the sky. No, I do. And it's not fair to those people. It's because it takes me like 15 hours to paint a purse like that.
Starting point is 00:09:59 So what he's saying is you do one, and then you duplicate it, and that makes it less special. Yeah, special. That's less special. Yeah, special. That's last special. Special. Yeah. What are you talking about? Speaking of special, I really hope we have this Bobby Patrina.
Starting point is 00:10:11 Oh, wow. Wow. Wow. You need to read Openness Store. Openness Store makes so much money. It doesn't matter how dirty his face gets. It's always going to be appropriate. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Sweet to show. Bring back Lucy. Yeah, bring back Lucy. Send us your cash tag. Bring back Lucy. So long. You can do it. I'm telling you to make so much. Yeah, I mean, I'm allowed to do that like because I don't. Yeah, I mean, I paint it. So it's, I guess it's my image now. Yes, you can. They don't have faces and they don't have faces. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Yeah, and that doesn't say Arkansas. That's it's Arca, yeah, right? different.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Arca and sauce. But yeah, that's my hobby.
