You know what that means. It is time for Thursday Thunder. It is time for Thursday Thunder. Brought to you by our friends at Draft King Sportsbook. You can follow along on our parlay on the Draft King Sportsbook app. And we got a good one today. And by a good one, I mean, we have baseball because it's our only option.
Starting point is 00:01:11 What else is happening? I don't think we have baseballs, right? We should do ones in the future where people can bet on what time I go to bed one night, just like us, an us parlay. And us parlay. A little Tony have for lunch tomorrow. And then there's a few things you can bet on.
Starting point is 00:01:25 Good question. That's a nice way for us to make some money because we can control that. I think that's why they probably wouldn't do it. Don't give it away. Anyways, we love our people at DraftKings. We have a three game parlay. We've been all right at this recently.
Starting point is 00:01:37 Even if we haven't, let's just, there is WMBA. We could do that, but I'm going to stick, I know mine of the three. I'm going with the Houston Astros I have a theory the biggest favorite in what like you see the all the baseball matchups There's one that's gonna be a monster favorite that thing will probably lose you want to go with the second biggest favorite of the day who I like this and the Astros are the second biggest favorite of the night So you're feeling good about it going in Ast Astros, first leg of the parlay.
Starting point is 00:02:05 Tony, what do you got for the second leg? I like betting on people that are good. That's a crazy theory, right? It's a pretty good idea. But people who are really good, I like Shohei Otoni. I know their team isn't very good, but I'm getting plus juice on Shohei Otoni. He's on the bump tonight against
Starting point is 00:02:20 the Texas Rangers, Nathan of Aldi on the bump for the year. Shohei Otoni plus juice is a nice bet. That's what I'm saying. It's plus 105 right now. We're throwing a little part Lyski making it happen. I don't have any of the details of what the actual bet is here. But we've got again, talking about players who were good. A really good picture for the Chicago.
Starting point is 00:02:39 I like this. She are giving a good analysis here. Hey, pick the good team. Yeah, good players. Good pitchers. In particular I would pick the good team. Yeah, good players. Good pitchers. In particular, you got a good team in the Astros. You got good pitchers in what Tony and I are doing here. Marcus Strowman on the hill, the Strow Chicago Cubs,
Starting point is 00:02:54 they're gonna complete the sweep against the Pittsburgh pirates. That's the final link. I think we're gonna hit it. You want me to recap it for everybody? Okay, so we got Cubs. Uh-huh. Moneyline. We've got Angels.
Starting point is 00:03:09 Moneyline plus 105 and nice little juice, juice up, piece there. And for the last and final leg, the second or third highest odds, the Houston Astros to win. Can I do a quick side topic here? Because it's just for 10 bucks. Is this such a fast segment that I don't want to end this post game? Me neither.
Starting point is 00:03:26 Yeah, I want to keep it. I have one question. Like, is any of this like against the spread? Don't this is not. It's not. It's not. Come on. Don't you go.
Starting point is 00:03:34 Don't you see? It's like, what's the matter with you? I wouldn't even see that. Come on. It's a different show. This is money line. It's not as fun. Thunder.
Starting point is 00:03:42 That's what you go. There's the thunder. What do you guys how do you guys feel about? I, there's the thunder. What do you guys feel about? I turn it off the wrong thing. How do you guys feel about plus? Try all mighty plus one. And general. So, are we part of your something?
Starting point is 00:03:52 No, no, no, for weddings. Does everybody get a plus one, or do you have to have a substantial relationship? I think the way it works is if you are someone, someone who's in the person's life who's getting married and you're married, then you get a plus one, right? Like you can never tell someone to leave your spouse home. But like the people who are dating are single, like then it gets iffy.
Starting point is 00:04:16 You got to be like either a great friend or you've been with this person that you're dating for a long time. Well, if the bridal groom hates your plus one, then they can't come. Then you don't get one. And the plus one's married to whoever you invite it. That is a lot more. That seems very specific. Right, that's not before, like, that's never happened before.
Starting point is 00:04:34 I've seen movies though. I don't, you know what's funny? I don't, I've seen movies, it's funny. I've never, I don't go to a lot of weddings. I'm going to one next week. I'm not going to be in show next week because I'm going to a wedding Oh week long wedding in the calendar. No, I mean well look take a week off man. There you go. Thanks I'm gonna work a pretty hard. I deserve a week off
Starting point is 00:04:53 You deserve a month off right? God damn right. I do when you looked on that zoom take one And that zoom yesterday. That was just a bit my vote my breath wasn't really bad That was not exactly it was totally not a bit as kicking breath was terrible. Yeah. So I went to a wedding. The last one I went to was like two years ago in Kentucky in Louisville right and it was a girl that I worked with at ESPN. She was getting married. But like her family is from Australia New Zealand. So literally and this is I had the pandemic none of her family could make Australia and New Zealand. So literally, and this is, I have the pandemic,
Starting point is 00:05:26 none of her family could make it to the wedding. So the people on her side of the, you know, Isle or whatever, me, another couple had worked with her, it has been and her best friend who lives in LA. And then everybody else was the groom's family. You gotta spread that out. Hey groom's family, sit on the other side.
Starting point is 00:05:44 I don't like this thing at weddings where it's like I have to sit on this side. I just let me sit on one of the other side of one. Let's fill this in. Let's be one group here. This is the new unions. Wait a minute, was it a new wedding? No, it was in person.
Starting point is 00:05:55 In person, but they got like recordings of all her family and stuff that they showed at the pre-mixer the night before whatever, and she got emotional. It was very nice. Weddings are so fun in your 20s, in your 30s. It's just a two-do you know, really I still have fun I mean that like the to do man like in my 20s I am crushing that open bar and I'm like the first guy on the dance floor now I'm just like I'll get the two all it's like we'll smith and Whatever
Starting point is 00:06:21 It's it it all depends it all depends. It all depends. Like, look, I'm still crushing the open bar. Believe that. I believe that. I mean, believe that. Believe that. So am I. Look at me. The, and the food.
Starting point is 00:06:33 The food sometimes is pretty good. So your derves. Or derves are going to be. I don't need this. You don't need the buzzkill. The dinner is always a buzzkill. It's like, I just want to get the dance floor going. I don't want to sit here for a half hour.
Starting point is 00:06:44 No, just give me so many or derves and then you don't want to sit here for a half hour. Just give me so many hors d'oeuvres and then you don't need to feed me. Give me a snack at the end. Around the room, what is the worst part about weddings? The sit down meal, the half hour. I'm cool with the whole first dance. That stuff's a little whatever, but how do you feel about the girdle thing?
Starting point is 00:06:59 Well, I want to go out on a do not do it. Like it's just, it is. Dude, it's so tacky. I specifically told my wife, I'm like, I she didn't want to do it, but I was like, even if you did want to do it, I would veto that one. Cool. What, what a Tony move. At my.
Starting point is 00:07:13 To say the thing that you don't want to do, no, even if you wanted to do it, I would not do it. I have to confirm to you that I wouldn't do it. Of course, did it, but we, they did the thing where I was blindfolded and then they switched to my best man. Yeah. I was like, oh, I'm going up to someone's leg. Oh, it's my friend.
Starting point is 00:07:27 This leg is hairy. And it's also got a nut sec. How'd that get there? Thank you for that. Jeremy, what's the worst part about weddings? Uh, I would say the choreographed dances and that's coming from me as a theater kid. Is that a, I've never been to a wedding where I have that.
Starting point is 00:07:45 Not even on, I mean, like where the first stand starts slow and then all of a sudden you and your brother are doing like, yeah, yeah. Well, I thought they meant like down the aisle, like the best, the best man in the brain, my made of honor or whatever. So you got both. There's anything that's choreographed like that
Starting point is 00:07:58 where it's clearly like, like you just mentioned, you got the, the made of honor and the best man walking down the aisle and then they're doing something really specific or you have, like Chris just mentioned, mom and a son or a daughter and a dad doing some sort of slow dance that then turns into something faster and they're dancing to the Lizzy McWire movie. Like enough.
Starting point is 00:08:19 I don't, I don't want to see it. The one that I, Chris is trying to play it but we're doing white guys. White guys, white guys, white, white, white, white, white, the one that I was just trying to play it but we're doing what guys what guys what what what
Starting point is 00:08:30 what the the thing that I thought of immediately Jeremy was I've I don't even know the specific one just making it up but like the bridesmaids and the and the groomsman walking in with sunglasses on to uptown funk and the party and there's all these different examples of it with sunglasses on to uptown funk. And they're like, and they're like, we're a cool party. And they're party.
Starting point is 00:08:45 There's all these different examples of it. It's like the five minutes when they're all standing up there, like they're like, what do you want to do? What's our entrance? And it's like, hey, you want to get on my shoulders? And I was like, the guy's running out there. It's like, Roy, worst part about a wedding. Find out where you see it is at the reception.
Starting point is 00:08:59 Oh, I like it. I kind of like it. No, no, no. The six, I like connecting with other people. Table six, let's go. No, no, no, this food is your value, Chris people. Table six. No, no, no, no. This proves your value, Chris. This proves your value to him. Oh, very couple now.
Starting point is 00:09:08 OK, so OK, Zoroye's got a great point. I don't mind the process. The result sometimes can hurt your feelings. Roy, you crushed a dance floor, though. I mean, I'm not bad. He crushes the open bar. It's, yeah, I crushed that harder. Believe that.
Starting point is 00:09:21 Believe that. Believe that. That's what I'm gonna crush that harder. Beledent. Beledent.
