Starting point is 00:01:22 to the other Dan LeBattard podcast. I'm sorry, I'm not going to apologize for that. In fact, the only difference seems to be this show. The podcast that seems very similar to the other Dan LeBattard podcast. I'm sorry, I'm not going to apologize for that. In fact, the only difference seems to be this imaging. I have been tempted in restaurants just walking past tables to grab somebody's fries if they're just there. That hasn't happened to you guys? I've done it. And now, here's the marching man to nowhere, fat face, and the habitual liar. David Sampson hates no one publicly more in sports than Scott Boris.
Starting point is 00:01:49 And now Blake Snell has gotten two years 62 million, Matt Chapman three years 54 million, Bellinger three years 80 million. Those are not small contracts, but they're short contracts. Those are all Boris clients. Explain to me what happened there, David. Explain to me how a Cy Young candidate ends up not signing with anybody when everybody would like the pitching of a Cy Young,
Starting point is 00:02:13 not a Cy Young candidate, a Cy Young winner. Scott Boris Eddie the Eagle, he finally did it. He finally went over his skis. I don't know if that's an old reference. It is, you do know it's an old reference. It's a 1988 terrible skier. Like how do you not know that's an old reference? It's 40 bleeping years old.
Starting point is 00:02:33 Cause I expect people still use that. Like when there's a saving Silverman or when you're dating someone who's really way more attractive than you are and she's out of my league, the expression is you're Eddie the Eagle. No. It's an old reference. The expression is you're Eddie the Eagle. No. It's an old reference.
Starting point is 00:02:47 Yes, is the answer to your question. It's not from this century. Well, this century is only a quarter old. So Scott Boris makes promises to his players. This is what he does to poach players and get players. He says, I'm gonna get you blank, turn it down. He did it with Juan Soto, turning down 450 with the Nationals.
Starting point is 00:03:04 Don't you worry. I'm going to get you more. And every year an owner bails him out and gives his player what he promised his player. And finally, this year, the owners said individually, not together, they said, no, we're not going to do it. And so all of Boris's top four players, one of whom is still unsigned, Jordan Montgomery, they had to take lower deals with opt-outs and they got totally screwed because Boris was demanding too much money.
Starting point is 00:03:35 Blake Snell, Cy Young winner, but he's a five and dive guy. That's what he is. And so you don't give the amount of money, even the Yankees, they offered him too much. When Snell of money even the Yankees they offered him too much when Snell said no the Yankees said all right we'll pass we just had a a moment of intelligence and they did not even go back to the table before he signed for that 62 million dollars except guys that's not the biggest issue Scott Boris has there's mutiny going on right now in the players union and Scott Boris is losing all his power and I'm here for it.
Starting point is 00:04:10 The day of Scott Boris running baseball, it's over. Finally it's over. Give me the details on the mutiny please. The details is you have Tony Clark who's the director of the union and he's got a lieutenant named Bruce Meyer who you the name you may know from the lockout. He was an aggressive pit bull negotiator who the league did not like dealing with, who was really answering to Boris and Boris's players the entire time. Now you've got another lawyer named Harry Marino, who represented the minor league players,
Starting point is 00:04:42 who's making a play to get rid of Mayor, to get rid of Clark, and to remove all of the Boris influence within the union. And so you've got players on Marino's side, you've got some players on Myers' side, and there's going to be a winner and a loser, and it's going to be binary. And the best part is that the owners are loving this because going into a negotiation, believe it or not, it's starting again soon, you want the union to be divided. And the other agents are loving this
Starting point is 00:05:11 because they want Boris to be removed because he had exerted so much power over the last negotiations where you wanna take care of the richest players only. I will tell the audience again that in sports, sports business is covered very, very poorly and there is no one I've heard doing it better than David Sampson is on sports business and nothing personal.
Starting point is 00:05:34 That's why he's going on tour. The Carlisle Group explained to me yesterday's news that the Carlisle Group is no longer financing Alex Rodriguez's next payment in their acquisition of the Minnesota Timberwolves. What does that mean? I don't know if you edited your South Beach sessions at all with A-Rod. I don't know if you talked about the Timberwolves transaction, but let me explain this. He made a deal in 2021.
Starting point is 00:05:58 This is A-Rod, who's been dying to own a team so badly that he's willing to buy a house in Minnesota, bless his soul. He bought the team at a valuation of $1.5 billion, but he only bought 20% back in 21, and he has to keep giving the owner money to get more shares of the team. Well he owes about $300 million now by the end of March in order to get the last piece of the transaction to take over as owner of the team, as the general partner of the team. And word came out yesterday that the group that was going to give him his money, because he doesn't have the money, said, no, we're not giving you this money.
Starting point is 00:06:40 And so people now think A-Rod's not going to get the team, but they're getting the story wrong. A rod is still going to get the timber wolves. He will still make the payment because he will have to find other money, which he will, but here's the rub. The team was worth 1.5 billion and 21. It's worth about 2 billion now. And a rod was trying to keep all that profit for himself and People are saying no a rod you have to share that profit a rod was trying to be David Beckham
Starting point is 00:07:13 Remember David Beckham who had an option to buy inter Miami for 25 million and all of a sudden the team was worth 300 million And now maybe even a billion a rod was trying to do a Beckham and he got caught It's not going to happen, but he's still going to be the owner of the Timberwolves. Where is he going to get the money? Will that be easy for him to get? It is. There's a ton of private equity out there. The reason the Carlisle group fell apart is there was a disagreement over valuation. What that means is that people want to give A-Rod money, but they want to share in the implicit profits that exist because they're buying at one five for a team that's already worth two.
Starting point is 00:07:49 And A-Rod's charging them two to buy now. All he has to do is charge someone one five, which is what he's paying, and then he'll be able to secure the money. The other thing not being reported is you'd think he could just go to a bank and borrow the money because he has an asset that's worth more than what he's paying for it. But when you've hit your credit limit, it doesn't matter what you're buying.
Starting point is 00:08:10 It's like normal people when you're trying to borrow money. If you're out of credit, you can't borrow any more money. Billy, where and how is David Sampson represented in our March Sadness Tournament, which has been very poorly explained for two days. Well, that's not a good setup for this. I would say that we have a lot of exciting things going on with March Madness
Starting point is 00:08:35 and the Levitard and Friends universe. We have merch sadness going on at levitardaf.com, where you can go and you can fill out a bracket. David oversaw that, I believe, or did, I don't know. Anyways, but David, we wanted to include you here in our March Sadness Tournament as well. In fact, if I'm gonna be honest with you, I don't wanna give too much away,
Starting point is 00:08:53 but David's are still represented in another region as well. But today, David is represented in playing games where there's a battle of the Davids. David versus, not Goliath. David versus David here, which is something's got to give because if you remember David versus Goliath, David won. Spoiler alert. Here there's two Davids, so someone's going to have to lose. There's no Goliath. A play-in game of 16 seeds in the club region. What is the theme of this region? This is the club region, Dan. I know, but what does that mean? Why isampson? Well, you know, I don't know if you're aware,
Starting point is 00:09:25 we brought back the club this year. It had been gone for a number of years. But why is Sampson so close? The Cuervo Club, love that. Sampson is strongly represented. I wanted to name the region that, but this is sponsored by another sponsor, so I didn't say the Cuervo Club region.
Starting point is 00:09:36 Yeah, if I'm gonna be honest with you. Contextually covered. Yeah, exactly right. Why is Sampson so well represented here? How many sounds from Sampson are we gonna hear in this tournament? Well right now this is a play-in for the club region where there's two David Samson's battling it out
Starting point is 00:09:50 to be the number 16 seed in this region. Now, here's the thing David, I don't want you to take offense to this or be insulted by this because over the years people have been insulted by where it is that their favorite looks like or what have you is ranked. This year because of fan voting, essentially the rankings don't matter
Starting point is 00:10:06 because you can just vote for a 16 or a 15, it's not weighted. So here's David as two number 16 teams battling it out to get in the big tourney. Well thank you so much. We love you, we've got you, we've got you, we've all got each other, let's go, right now. One, two, three, Brett, one, two, three, Brett!
Starting point is 00:10:24 And that's gonna be tough to beat yeah not as motivational as it probably felt in his heart as he was doing it again we can listen to it again right now yeah let's let's listen to it right now well thank you so much we love you we've got you we've all got each other let's go right now 123 Brett 123 three And that got Parkinson wait a minute Yes right now and you're the one who when you talked about him says hello to him with what shaking not us Let's go ahead and that's not you say to yourself Not us. Let's go ahead. David, that's not true. Now you say to yourself,
Starting point is 00:11:03 It is true. David. What that David Sampson said could beat that clip that we just played. And I give you the competition submission number two. Go PP. That's number one. Oh yeah, that's good.
Starting point is 00:11:18 Why was that? Well, I don't remember the context of go PP. I don't either. Go PP. All right, excellent. Go PP. So big, excellent. GoPP. So big game today in the Samson Conference of the Cuervo Club region.
Starting point is 00:11:28 Who would you vote for, David? I like my chances. Who would you vote for, David? GoPP. Who should win? The reason I'm gonna vote for Brett is that I want attention to be brought to try to cure Parkinson's,
Starting point is 00:11:38 and GoPP is what everybody does every day, sometimes four times a night, so I'm not sure that's worthy of advancing. Whereas the let's go one, two, three. Brett is something that's way more meaningful to way more listeners. So I expect that to prevail. PP. Although, of course, given the audience and the way you're treating this, Dan, maybe go. PP is going to win.
Starting point is 00:11:57 Do you David? You should not be paying four times a night like that. Get your prostate checked. Are you really? That's a lot. It's a flow problem, not a go problem. Go pee pee. Merch madness. What do people need to know there before you review your movie for the week? It's the same problem A-Rod has right now, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:12:17 Go to levitardaf.com right now, fill out a bracket, and if you win, you're gonna win really cool prizes, including something from Dan but if you beat me and I entered a bracket you'll be in a raffle to win another piece from my memorabilia collection much like the 49 people who beat me in the stained carpet Oscar ballot where one of them won a piece of memorabilia so go to levitardaf.com and the problem is I filled out my bracket and then there was a major injury announced and I asked whether or not I could fill out a new bracket
Starting point is 00:12:51 and I was denied by Bimel. You seem to get a lot of no here at Metal Art Media. Just use another email. Who's gonna know? Yes, go ahead and review your movie for the week, please. Less than a minute. Let's talk about Spaceman. Let's talk about Adam Sandler,
Starting point is 00:13:08 one of my favorite actors who does movies from Click to Billy Madison. He made this movie about him in space, and he all of a sudden becomes friends with Paul Dano, who is like a spider, and he's alone for a year, and Carrie Mulligan is his wife who's back on Earth who wants to divorce him, but she's pregnant, and Adam Sandler's floating around.
Starting point is 00:13:28 There was no costume designer because he wears what he wears every day, those gym shorts that is part of his everyday life. I don't understand what the movie was. I get that you're making money with Netflix, but let's get back to a little quality if possible. I'm quite disappointed with what Sandler did in Space Man. Nothing personal is the name of his podcast.
Starting point is 00:13:51 I'm not sure a lot of people would say what you said, that Adam Sandler is one of their favorites. I like him too. Click. He's got range. Yes, click. Nobody's saying that. Thank you, Samson. Go pee-pee. Howdy, folks. It's Mike Ryan. It you Samson. Go peepee. Howdy folks it's Mike Ryan it's springtime and while every time is a good time for Miller Lite, springtime is among the best. I was sitting out in my backyard watching some flowers bloom and some beautiful birds swimming from royal fishtail palm to royal fishtail palm and I had a Miller Lite in my hand and I said, yeah, this is the good
Starting point is 00:14:25 life. Over the years a lot has changed. One thing that hasn't, the great taste of Miller Lite. It was the original light beer and to this day is still the very best one. Miller Lite has more of the taste that you want and less of the stuff that you don't. Oh Miller Lite, you were always there for me. I thank the heavens for you every time I'm sitting on my back patio and I take a sip. Ah, tastes like Miller time. Don LeBataard. You got to know I'm a big Colombo guy. Salute to that boy. OK, I don't think that's proof. I don't think that's proof. I think that's a lie.
Starting point is 00:16:15 I don't think that's that. I don't think that is evidence. Salute to that boy. It suggests camouflage. It suggests that Juju has no idea what we're talking about. And now he's just Googling it. Stugots. I'm not Googling it.
Starting point is 00:16:30 My grandmama stayed in the country. I watched The Braves. I watched Columbo. I watched Matlock. I watched Andy Griffin. Yeah, classic. Absolutely, you said that you go to the pill in the box. Damn.
Starting point is 00:16:39 You tell him. They didn't take your ass to the pill in the box. You tell him, Juju. Call me a liar. You tell him, Juju. Back to you, Stu. This is the Don LeBattar Show with the Stugots. You tell him Juju! I'm your liar. You tell him Juju! Back to you Stu. This is the Don Lebathorpe Show with the StuGots.
Starting point is 00:16:49 I did enjoy yesterday's StuGots watching on social media after someone started this Juju getting in on the fun by asking our audience, worst thing that you've ever heard said during an interview. There was a lot of stuff that we have had fun with on this show. What's the most insane thing someone has ever said during an interview and Juju assembled a little montage here of just a few for your perusal. All right, you got a dog named Holly Berry.
Starting point is 00:17:23 Is she bad or is she bougie? She's dead. No. I'm Mr. Sterling's right hand arm man. I'm Mr. Sterling, everything. I'm his confidant, his best friend, his silly rabbit. His what? His silly rabbit. His silly rabbit. His what? His silly rabbit.
Starting point is 00:17:47 His silly rabbit? Yes. Is that what he calls you? No. You ever get caught in a girl's room like that? I did. When his dad came home? Like three, four times.
Starting point is 00:17:54 Damn, what happened? What if daddy walked in there and said I'm next? One time I went in the bed. What are you talking about? What happened? What? Just did you do it? No, I didn't.
Starting point is 00:18:05 I think it was this idea of a joke. Nope. And this is it. Could a father not marry his son? Well there are laws against incest. It's not incest between men. Incest is there to protect us from having children with- Inbreeding.
Starting point is 00:18:29 Yeah. But men don't breed. And we welcome you, James Brown. How did all of this trouble begin? Living in America. It's nothing wrong. Nothing wrong at all? You're not in any difficulty, but you're out on bond.
Starting point is 00:18:45 No, I'm not. Have all the charges been dropped? Yeah, I don't love. You did an interview in which you said, not the worst thing to slap a woman now and then. As I remember, you said you don't do it with a clenched fist. It's better to do it with an open hand. Yeah, remember that?
Starting point is 00:19:01 Yeah. Yeah. I didn't love that. I haven't changed my opinion. You haven't? No, not at all. You think it's good to slap a woman No, I don't think it's good. I think it's bad. I don't think it's that bad I think that it depends entirely on the circumstances and if it merits it Quite the dismount there my god Had a chance to make up for I. I mean the last two of them, the last two are very different ways of handling domestic abuse situations because James Brown
Starting point is 00:19:32 was being asked questions about that and just decided to start singing. That's what you do if you're James Brown I guess. Have you ever watched Jordan Peele's bit on the James Brown interview on CNN? He doesn't do anything creative with it, he just recreates it. It is a shot for shot recreation. All the dialogue's the same, it's just Jordan Peele being James Brown because comedically he didn't think
Starting point is 00:19:58 he could improve on it, I guess. Yeah, go ahead and look that up on your own time, if you like. It is exactly the wrong way to handle all things related to how you relate with women. We also have what I consider to be the best follow-up in journalism history. His what? It's pretty good. It's why Barbara was the greatest.
Starting point is 00:20:19 It's one of the reasons she was willing to do, she was willing to speak on behalf of the audience. Says what? I want to ask you guys, Dugout, you've heard me say on this show a number of times, it's one of the, I think, best kept secrets in sports, that the Los Angeles Lakers are a mom and pop shop. They don't have other businesses and they subsist off of getting Shaq and Kobe and LeBron and keeping together what the Showtime Lakers built. But the disgraced son of the Buss family, the one you never hear about, Johnny Buss, who lost the power struggle to Jeannie Buss, who was featured in Winning Time and you can see how dysfunctional all the B bus stuff was with the lakers he's like coop manning uh... he's not like coop manning he's like connor from succession the useless
Starting point is 00:21:11 brother who's now actually running for president of the united states he's running for president of the united states but the family didn't trust him to run the lakers but and he's going to parlay that but not only the family the family and a sexist dad who is owner was always going to the games with playboy models chose a woman
Starting point is 00:21:37 to run his franchise instead of johnny even though jerry bus was considered to be sexist and you can watch winning time and learn some of what it is that Jeannie Buss did to earn that position. It's merit based. Yeah, well not initially. Remember, she didn't get the team initially and after her brothers failed, there was language in the transition
Starting point is 00:22:00 that she could reassume power and ended up winning a title in the bubble in an in-season tournament proving that she should have been running the the franchise the entire time the tagline for For this presidential campaign is bus on America Which doesn't make any sense because get on the bus is right there for you So the bus son is the one running for president not the succession right son right even though this is Connor Roy it is Connor Roy from succession the failed son of the family among a lot of failures ran for president with no chance to win a president I thought it was joke I had I had to look up because you have to
Starting point is 00:22:39 understand the bus name in Los Angeles I think Jeannie is the one most associated with competence, even though Jerry did a lot of winning, but he was viewed as a maniac who was totally out of control with everything, including finances. But Johnny Bus is this family's disgrace. The Buss family doesn't have that much money compared to other business tycoon owners in sports and Johnny running for president, I'd like to interview him. I want to know what his platform- Well, you have to give the other candidate equal time. Right.
Starting point is 00:23:19 Yeah, yeah. You gonna do that? Yes. You can give R.F.K. Jr. the opportunity to tear apart at the seams on South Beach Sessions. Oh, God. In exchange. Like, I've seen it with his shirt off,
Starting point is 00:23:32 and he looks like, compared to the other two guys, the picture of health, but then he opens his mouth, and you're like, wow, this could go at any time. I would make that trade, I think. We're gonna have some trouble with that Trump interview I think but in exchange for Johnny buss, would it be worth it? I ask you my wife incidentally has just texted me and says that that crypto billionaires costume can be here by Monday If any of you guys want to suffer that as a penalty don't subject the audience to your dirty talk
Starting point is 00:24:03 You're the one that asked for it. We wouldn't want to take that from you. I mean, I just want somebody to do it. I don't want to be the one to do it. I just feel, as often happens around here, I just take it up because nobody else will do stuff. We appreciate you. Does anyone else owe anything anymore? I'm good.
Starting point is 00:24:21 I checked my debt. That can't be right. I have to drop. Just because you found a way to have 25 football games in a season can't be right I have to draw because you found a way to have 25 football games in a season doesn't mean like that you guys have paid all of you all paid up I did rocky I have to dress as Austin Powers I think I have one left there's no way that you can be the guy you guys haven't actually paid most of these penalties checked because there's such immense
Starting point is 00:24:42 pressure in this place to dress up for the hosts. I check daily. I'm good. I don't believe that the audience would believe that you guys actually did what was required from anything that Grid of Death dispersed in terms of penalties. You know what? Not a single mention on my social media feeds where it's just like, you're not dressing up enough. Not a single one.
Starting point is 00:25:08 In the 20 years that we've been doing this, I haven't heard a complaint from any fan that says, Mike, you don't dress up enough. If they're complaining, they're complaining about the fact that you dress up too much, I mean. Now that I see. That you do not see. But that I have to explain privately.
Starting point is 00:25:24 I DM people, he's got a kink. Yeah. I don't know how you guys have checkmated me on this. They're an assortment of things. Look, I'm gonna reveal the audience. I don't like allowing people to look this far under the curtain, but I saw something that legitimately enraged me the other day in this realm
Starting point is 00:25:45 and it is meant to enrage me it's why it exists i saw that one of our regions is costume related and when i saw the number one seed in one of those regions are going the amount of rage that came over me because Stu got spent the whole season cheating getting the golden helmet of life for the third consecutive season he still owes stuff from four years ago at the Cleveland or he's supposed to freestyle on a stage chef poetry jam oh yeah from from five years ago at the
Starting point is 00:26:18 Cleveland or as you guys tell me that all the punishments have been paid Billy hey who's the number one seed in the costume region? Well, I mean if we're ready to reveal it I wasn't sure if we were ready or not. The number one seed in the region of death, because it's the grid of death, so the region of death is none other than Stugatz as Rocky. Wow. Bravo. What? Nailed it. That is his track suit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:48 Now, I'll remind everybody. What? A committee got together, and there was voting and what have you, and I'll remind everyone, this is fan voting. So if you feel like this isn't a worthy number one seed, you can easily vote this out against the 16 seed that will be decided by a plane. But if you think this is great, you can vote for this to win the entire tournament. will be decided by a plane. But if you think this is great,
Starting point is 00:27:05 you can vote for this to win the entire tournament. And you will, thank you. If you position it as an ET costume, he actually knocks it out of the park. That was red, wasn't it? And let's not forget that March Sadness is presented by Get Your Guide. Discover over 100,000 unforgettable travel experiences
Starting point is 00:27:23 in the US and around the world at GetYourGuide.com. For those listening and not watching, the Rocky costume is just Stugatz wearing a gray hoodie. And putting the hood on. There was sweatpants too, I believe. Bullshit, man. I don't think he wore the sweatpants. I don't think he ever put those on.
Starting point is 00:27:42 I did talk to the accounting department also and was told that you guys took this Costume home, so I believe you will be charged for said costume because it's not part of our Wardrobe. No. Yeah, so you're gonna have to bring it back take it up with Carmen Again, you can vote for this if you want But if you think this isn't a worthy number one seat feel free to vote it out It's up to you the right this is where youmate me, because now that's going to win the tournament. I hope it wins the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:28:07 Only because it enrages me. Well, you guys have already ruined this, so you might as well just take it to completion. Well, I think, audience, this is the best way to show Dan he's probably going too far with the costumes. If Sue Gotts wins this entire thing, you will send a message to leadership. Billy, who else is in this region?
Starting point is 00:28:29 I'd like to just, you know, I feel like tomorrow we're gonna get swamped Stugatz with one of the most fun days in sports. And I feel like this week we have done a very poor job of undermining what has been one of our best features every year Which was the looks like tournament incidentally. I talked to Tim Kirch in this morning He's got a new podcast coming out with his son that he is very excited about and yes Look at that Roy's applaud awesome, and he moved me because he said that my father and I were the inspiration
Starting point is 00:29:02 I missed him Kirch and I missed the looks like tournament missed Tim Kirkshin, I missed the Looks Like tournament. What else are we gonna give people in terms of the region of death? Well, so in the region of death, there's also a play-in tonight, Dan. The region of death number 16 seed Tony is gonna take on number 16 seed Roy. Here's Tony.
Starting point is 00:29:19 So that's Tony from The Matrix. What are you shaking your head about, Roy? How is the Bearer costume a play-in game? How am I not high on that one? Well, here's the thing. If you feel like you shouldn't be a 16-seed. I gotta vote? You can go vote, and then again,
Starting point is 00:29:34 if this, represented by Roy, the 16-seed play-in from the bear. It's a good costume. Roy, it's such a good look for you. But there was great costumes this year, Dan. Look, Dan dresses as Rocky too in that video. video when you see the whole region you're gonna be shocked They're not all Dan costumes like you're gonna be like what well the problem is it was the exor Swift if I win I faced two gods in that rocky costume
Starting point is 00:30:02 Democracy is this not? In Russia. You gotta get the entire hockey show behind the bear. Yeah, all two of us, all three of us. Well, I meant like people listening. All five of us, all six of us. Yeah. Yeah. All five of us, all six of us.
Starting point is 00:30:15 Yeah. Hello, darlings. This is Lisa Vanpump. Will you join me in France for a new reality show? Meet my hand-selected staff as they work, live and play at Chateau Roosevelt. Their job is to provide once-in-a-lifetime experiences for our guests. And of course they'll have to meet my standards and not everybody has what it takes. Vanderpump Villa has first-class luxury and world-class drama.
Starting point is 00:30:41 I'll be there, will you? Vanderpump Villa premier April the 1st, streaming on Disney+. Don Lebatard. Hey Dave. Stugats. What up? This is the Don Lebatard Show with the Stugats. Give me some more montage from Juju on those insane interview clips please. I don't wish that girl any bad luck but I hope she gets hit with a car. We got an issue in America. Too many good docs are getting out of business.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Too many OBGYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country. How the officiating went down the stretch there but you guys pulled it out and was a big win. Davis turned on Wonder why the league is losing money, that's why. People pay good money to come watch his after he's played, they try to take on the ****ing game. Shaq, we're on live. I know. What has he done? Can you tell me? Big Magic Johnson, what has he done? Well, he's a business person. He's got AIDS. I would assume you are, what's the opposite of homosexual? Heterosexual.
Starting point is 00:31:53 I would assume his ass is a hemomosexual and he's different. So if he was not a hemomosexual... You gotta say heterosexual. Ahead of the sexual. Ahead of the sexual. So if he was ahead of the sexuals, bro, I'ma assume that you ahead of the sexuals and bro ahead of the sexuals too. I'm already ahead of the sexuals. Yeah, I had one coach and he used to say, put yourself in situations where you're not comfortable. Oh yeah, that's my favorite saying.
Starting point is 00:32:22 That's my favorite saying. I ain't go to college, but I turned it down. Oh. Yeah, I turned it down just to do this, just to grind from the rap. So you had an opportunity to do the drumming thing. Yeah, scholarship and everything. Where at? I think it was like in Jacksonville.
Starting point is 00:32:39 Yeah, a big band in Jacksonville. It was a big college though, and they offered me like 15 some shit like 10 million is all I did 5 million some of it Scholarship okay, but not 5 million dollars. They offered you 5 million dollars. I'll play that. Yeah We're doing here like what for y'all like I'm saying, but I was so young like wait wait wait, wait, I know what it were. Are you sure they average you five million dollars? Turned it down It was a scholarship like I had to go to school for this decade But you get five million. Yeah, they were there. It was somewhere it was in the millions though. I
Starting point is 00:33:19 Believe that we need to come up with imaging that protects us on the front end of these by just calling it problematic on the front end of these by just calling it problematic. On the front end, that we're just, but we're presenting it without comment. We're just sort of, these are things that happened on the air once upon a time during a different time that are a little bit insane. Well, the comment should be this is problematic. And kind of like the Tyree Kill stuff,
Starting point is 00:33:41 we're shaking our head the entire time. We should be shaking our head but also laughing. What's going on with him? There's something every week with this guy. And it's just, I know Dolphin fans, if he were with a division rival, you guys would be pointing it out left and right, but there is something, he's accused of something
Starting point is 00:33:59 or every other week, he's in the news. The best thing that's happened to him in terms of public relations is his house caught fire. What is going on with this guy? That was good news. There is a cluster of stuff, okay, because the news has leaked at different times. Clearly, at the end of January,
Starting point is 00:34:17 around when his house caught fire, before a woman broke her leg in his backyard because something happened in his backyard playing football. There was evidently not just video but some issues that rose from the house catching fire and then a post nuptial agreement I mentioned earlier this week. I didn't I'd never even heard the phrase before tyreek hill introduced me to the phrase post nuptial agreement because there was a public filing of divorce
Starting point is 00:34:53 that tyreek hill denied even though there was a public filing of divorce post-nup a post nuptial agree yes you've not heard of it nobody here had heard of it nobody here either had heard of a post nuptial agreement. Yes. You'd not heard of it. Nobody here had heard of it. Nobody here either had heard of a post-nuptial agreement. That is by definition when you say, oh bleep, I didn't get a pre-nuptial agreement, you get a post-nuptial agreement. But if you didn't get the prenup on the front end, how are you entitled to the post-nuptial on the back end? I know you did. Well, this is a negotiating problem after you've been married and basically it is the cause of much strife because tyreek hill has a lot of children a lot of baby mamas there's a lot of money going out and i
Starting point is 00:35:34 think we can all agree beyond the mere multiple suggestions and proof that he is hit women and children this is a reckless person there's some recklessness happening and happening in his lifestyle that cannot be disputed but he ended up here with it
Starting point is 00:35:57 got the stardom he craved here got out from under my homes to got this part's interesting they had four years of hill in kansas city they want wants they've had two years without him and they want twice and all of us are saying well that often season is good without him but what the dolphins traded for they got and what tyree kill wanted beyond money he got he got started he got freedom he got out from the confines of however it felt to be in the shadow
Starting point is 00:36:23 of patrick mahomes and under the discipline of Andy Reid. But it also appears that Chief Scott what they want they're still winning and they're winning without him without the headache. Okay but we've said the full story on the the whole post numbshaw thing is that police were called to his home on January 30th there was a domestic dispute between Hill and his wife. His wife said that, alleged that Tyreek Hill smashed an unlit cigar in her face. Hill denied that he actually struck her, says that he only flicked the cigar.
Starting point is 00:36:55 Mike Ryan pointed out, soon after Tyreek Hill got here, oh, that's why the chiefs didn't allow him to be interviewed very much in public. He came here for more freedom and more stardom, has gotten both. Yes. He came here for more money. Right.
Starting point is 00:37:12 And the Chiefs couldn't give him more money if they wanted to pay Patrick Mahomes his money because it's a salary cap. It's not like they wanted to rid themselves of the headache, they just couldn't. True. But there was a branding opportunity for him that apparently wasn't available to him in Kansas City and he started a podcast. I don't know if that's still going on, but he has publicly facing his reputation has kind of improved from his time over at Kansas City.
Starting point is 00:37:35 While this stuff is still bubbling beneath the surface and is not all that talked about in the mainstream media. It will be once this volatility boils over into something else. It will be. It's coming. Right now it's, you know, these things are made worsened when you have video and audio. We've got a burning house but we don't have facts and details that aren't under dispute because Tyree Kill is denying, initially, that he filed for divorce when he's blaming it on assistance. Clerical error. No, and since then, once that happens, Stugatz, everything else has been reported, but Mike's not wrong when he says now that Antonio Brown is out of
Starting point is 00:38:22 the league, the one with the biggest storm of weird turbulence around him in the entire league that has eradicated a lot of this stuff with multiple incidents. We're not even talking about what the hell happened on that boat a few months ago where he just hit somebody. Yeah, where there was some video, but it wasn't exactly what the victim had alleged.
Starting point is 00:38:41 And Rogers also kind of has something week to week too, but when Antonio Brown was going through it during that old Raiders thing, he was routinely in the news cycle with unseemly things, things that if it were true would be vile, and Tyree Kill is approaching that territory. But with Aaron Rodgers, it's it's harmful messages and words. With Tariq, it's actual harm to people. Allegedly, yeah. Howdy, folks, it's Mike Ryan. It's springtime. And while every time is a good time for Miller Lite,
Starting point is 00:39:15 springtime is among the best. I was sitting out in my backyard watching some flowers bloom and some beautiful birds swimming from royal fishtail palm to royal fishtail palm to Royal Fishtail Palm, and I had a Miller Lite in my hand and I said, yeah, this is the good life. Over the years a lot has changed. One thing that hasn't, the great taste of Miller Lite. It was the original Lite beer and to this day it is still the very best one.
Starting point is 00:39:40 Miller Lite has more of the taste that you want and less of the stuff that you don't. Oh, Miller Lite, you were always there for me. I thank the heavens for you every time I'm sitting on my back patio and I take a sip. Ah, tastes like Miller time.
