Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to Giraffe King's Network. Welcome to the big, sweet, presented by Giraffe King. Why are you listening to this show? The podcast that seems very similar to the other Dan Levitard podcast. I'm sorry, I'm not going to apologize for that. In fact, the only difference seems to be this imaging. I have been tempted in restaurants just walking past tables to grab somebody's fries, that if they're just there.
Starting point is 00:00:34 That hasn't happened to you guys. I've done it. And now, here's the marching man to nowhere, that face and the habitual liar. We have a big game this Sunday. How you guys feeling? Dolphins Eagles, big game, very exciting. I know Chris is excited for this,
Starting point is 00:00:48 but this is a big game and I'm tired of Philadelphia. Is this a C-Ware Iraq game? Ooh. Now after the Eagles lose to the Jets, I don't think it's a C-Ware Iraq game. I think it's a measuring stick game. Well, is that not? Really?
Starting point is 00:00:58 I feel like those are pretty similar. No, I just think I just said it differently. Measureing stick game is bigger than a C-Ware Iraq game. C-Ware Iraq game is like maybe somebody that is in your division. Maybe like a buffalo is a C where you're at game. What would a measuring stick help you see where you're at? Yeah, but a measuring is against another conference. So you know, we're in the semantics here, but I see what Tony's saying.
Starting point is 00:01:17 Right. I do. Guys, I'd like to play a game with you guys. If you want to play along while you have this conversation, I'm checked out. And I'm going to tell you why it's because I'm on ESPN.com and they have this fun little thing where you can see how quickly every quarterback earns Brock Pertie's salary for the year. So, it's on the homepage. It's the strangest thing. So you go down and it's like the second thing on the homepage on ESPN.com and I swear to God, it's quick, it's clickbait. It just says, how quickly does two of Tonga Veloa earn Brock Pertie's $870,000?
Starting point is 00:01:46 How fast? Well, he's not even the top. You have to go all the way down to find it. It's just like, Tua, we have to put Tua in here somehow. Kurt Cousins. Kurt Cousins. Tell me. How long does it take him to make?
Starting point is 00:01:56 Let's guess though. He's one of the highest paid guys. You want to know in minutes? Yes, because that's how, so like they have the people that are in less than one game, and that's not where Kurt Cousins is. I don't think I know. Billy. So what is party salary? $870,000 it is tied for the lowest with Sam howl just so that you guys know whoo Daniel Jones
Starting point is 00:02:14 So bad wait, are you guys playing? Yeah, we're playing over something. Heels of one good playoff game Well, then we can't play the game if you have the answers He's the least Kirk cousins it takes I would takes Cousins a game and a half to earn $875,000. It takes him 30 minutes to match Brock Pertie's salary for the year. He makes 30 million dollars a year. So half a game essentially. Yeah. Two quarters.
Starting point is 00:02:39 30 minutes. Decent gig. That's not a bad one. You could get it. Great gig. Should Pertie hold out? Yes. No. I should stop showing up. He will get replaced by someone else. What do they got on the roster right now? They'll find someone else. I'm just saying. They have Sam Darnal. We talked to Chris Sims, who's basically said, like,
Starting point is 00:02:55 Brock Pretty is good because he does exactly what Shanahan wants him to do. And once he starts getting cute and trying to make it about him, he'll just replace him with someone else that can do exactly what he wants him to do. It's what he does. It's crazy. But how about he wins a Super Bowl? Sims also told us too wasn't that good too, right? I mean, he has lots of missions. He also told us that Wilson was good.
Starting point is 00:03:13 I mean, he's a hundred percent. He had lots of missions. What are we doing? Why are we talking to that guy? What did he gotten right exactly? His hit rate is an excellent, very hard. Blake Bortles. You got that right.
Starting point is 00:03:23 For like three seasons, I still disagree. What did he get right about that? I don't know. He said he was bad. So did everyone's eyes. He went to an AFC championship game. Just for Blake Bortles. Yeah. This is offensive. Lines fault. I shouldn't have right about anything.
Starting point is 00:03:37 I don't think ever. Jeremy at some point over the next few minutes. I would like to just celebrate Mike McDaniel. Okay. We have like a 45 second clip of him just being Mike McDaniel. Okay, we have like a 45 second clip of him just being Mike McDaniel on the sideline. Can we hit that fellas? Frank Stale, it's a good excuse.
Starting point is 00:03:50 Jamelop, don't be kidding me. I'll see you guys. Those are nice strong hand shakes with eye contact. I appreciate that. Thank you for showing me the respect in the guard. I'll do the same. Yeah, almost wore that vest today. I wasn't in a position to work.
Starting point is 00:04:05 Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Like, whoa. Are we trying to have personal accountability right now? I love it. No, I wasn't in position yet. Yeah, we are good guys in the stuff. And I don't know. That's why I kind of held it and did not go too quick.
Starting point is 00:04:19 I don't know. That sucks, too. I want to be good. Hey, that's why you guys are great. I mean, running off the field with Finzup, I just love that guy. I mean, there's part of me that like the cynic in me wants to be like, you know, right over there? I'm good. Don't what happened.
Starting point is 00:04:42 The cynic in me wants to say he knows he's miked up. Right. He's playing up to the camera. Kind of like I felt about Aaron Rogers on hard knocks. It's like I want to like this guy, but I feel like he's playing it up for the camera. But it's just I love my coach. I mean, technically he's always miked up this. Huh? Jesus. That chair.
Starting point is 00:04:59 This show has changed you and I love. I love it when Jeremy does that. Big swings. But seriously though, am I, they all like Tony? No, they love Mike McDaniel. There's parts of Mike McDaniel that are cool. I just don't know if he's cool. They're like, there's things that he does.
Starting point is 00:05:16 He's comfortable with himself, man. There's something there. What shoes was he wearing this weekend that had a tag on them still? Well, the tag is his whole motif with the Air Force ones of off-wights where Virgil had the tag and you keep the tag where some piece of Virgil by the way. I've been given some really interesting information in my headphones from a certain producer in the other room that says Tony and his brother are Patriot Spans and that I should call him out for that.
Starting point is 00:05:39 So Tony, he has your response, sir. He has said that before. Thanks for listening to the show Jeremy. But you are not acting as though. No though I'm a shield fan. Oh, Enough of that. What is that? Okay, Mike Ryan? He likes No, he's not a stop it. The thing is is that he's too cool to be heard by anything in the world. So like he can't be a jaguar I've heard by a lot of things. Hopefully Billy when did you feel when did you feel your lowest point?
Starting point is 00:06:06 Do you really want me to answer that? Was this Salpy sessions? We are all here for this. No, no, no, no. You don't want me here for Tony. You don't want me to answer that. You don't want me to answer that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:06:14 Answer. No. You don't want me to answer that. What Jaylin hurts you? Wow. Jesus. I'm a big Jaylin hurts fan. Funny.
Starting point is 00:06:22 That's what hurts me. Jaylin hurts those pics. Where do you stand on the Jaguar is officially? I like the Jaguars. They're frisky. He's a fan of the she-hills. They're what hurts me. He hurts those pigs. Where do you stand on the Jaguar is officially? I like the Jaguars. They're frisky. He's a fan of the shield. They're frisky. Yeah, they're frisky this year. I thought you were out on them. No, I was never out again. Fake news from the, from the, you know, in the media. Right. That's right. You're not doing yourself any favors. But Tony, are you a pads fan? Have you ever been a pads fan? Yes, I was a patron. I grew up a Patre's fan. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:06:42 Why? Wait, is this a selfie session? So'm ready left and then you left. I mean yeah, okay Thank you for the honest. Yeah, I was nine years old 10 years old. I saw all the I'm really a bucks fan to no at that point. I was just like hoping Tom did a good job Where she was a fan of the she lived that way. Yeah, I was already fan sure But as a younger kid my first viewing experience the NFL was Brady watching, you know, going to that Super Bowl beating the greatest show on turf. And I was like, wow, these guys are really good. He's not the greatest show on turf.
Starting point is 00:07:10 Beating the greatest show on turf. I'll beat him. Right, with that, Ben and Terry kick. And I became a Patriot fan of like 10 years old and unfortunately they won, you know, five or six of the rules or whatever it was. And I had to bear the front of that in my arm.
Starting point is 00:07:21 And how did Spike A affect you? Didn't really. Yeah, if you yeah free and treat you ain't trying You know, so deflate gate also not an issue not a problem Air Hernandez bothered me a little bit. I felt bad a little bit. Yeah, about it for everybody involved What could he have done to bother you more in a little bit? Well, it wasn't him that bothered me. It was a situation, you know I was sad about it in multiple ways Situation, you know, I was sad about it in multiple ways
Starting point is 00:07:50 To say it for hope for the person who is murdered one. Yeah, but most importantly the patriot no another patriot More of like I was sad to see team. No, no, I didn't have that. I didn't have it No, I felt bad for her name is he do his life away. Yeah, and maybe sad and then obviously what happened But you you felt bad for people the everybody in the victims., of course. That's why I said I'm first most importantly most importantly the person that was good And the family. Yes, okay very good But it's there one time ready left Um, I knew it was coming after that pick pick six against the Titans. I was like, okay. This is this is probably it But it wasn't it. It wasn't but it wasn't he went then he went to Tampa Bay and that was kind of the dog wants to go So you want me to get to my lowest point or not the dog?
Starting point is 00:08:36 Yeah, willow willow is in your discretion the door I don't know if I just had to get up to the room. I do want your lowest point. No, you don't You don't want his lowest point. You don't know him very well, obviously. Back to you, Steve. Second lowest point. Oh, that's a good question. Chris, I've been joining this. Chris, top five lowest points.
Starting point is 00:08:55 What's wrong with that? With that number one. Number four. Number four. Oh, what happened to five? Oh, we're going to have four to three. I don't know why it's going to be five. Yeah, I just want to finish the run. Two, four, three, two, happened to five? I would go five or three. I don't know why it's good Yeah, do four three two and then five
Starting point is 00:09:09 Four just give it a bad when OJ through his life away here. I saw OJ one time at a restaurant If you know, Jay in person I think yeah, okay, oh Jay's huge in person. I don't know But he was sitting at a local Italian spot next to my house because he used to live like maybe three or four minutes for my parents house. And he had his arms, he was laying back on one of those stools laying on the bar and he had his hands
Starting point is 00:09:38 over the entire bar, which spread like eight feet. He had his arms over the entire thing. And I was like maybe 15, 16 years old and we were getting a pizza. My mom was like, hey, get out, get the pizza, come back in. And I was like, feet. He had his arms over the entire thing. And I was like, maybe 15, 16 years old and we were getting a pizza. My mom was like, hey, get out. Get the pizza, come back in. And I was like, all right, cool. I turned the corner and I see juice and I'm like,
Starting point is 00:09:52 oh, shit, it's juice. So as I'm walking by. Number three. Yeah, we didn't even get to five yet. We didn't, we didn't. I walked by and I said, hey, juice, can I get through? And he's like, yeah, buddy, for sure. And kind of pat on my back and then.
Starting point is 00:10:03 Wow. He's classic, oh, Jeff. Yeah, can I get through? And he's like, yeah, buddy, for sure, and kind of pat on my back and wow. Or the piece on the cheese. Classic O'Jet. Yeah, that's classic. High number five. Number five, when you said, what do I do here? Yeah. Number four. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:14 I'm still wondering, was it nice to say I love? Sometimes you just think things. He's carrying us right now. Number four. Number four is when you said in a meeting, what do you do here? Yeah, which also didn't come from a skipper. Yes, never. Never.
Starting point is 00:10:28 Yeah, everything. Number three, number three was we were having a certain meeting about a certain something that I don't want to reveal and you also said, why are you going to go? Yeah. Number two. Number two. I can't tell you. Um. At public mobile, we do things differently. From our subscription phone plans to throwing a big sale right now when no one else is.

Starting point is 00:11:27 Wow! That clear thing, so... DCC Dan Lebertar Show! With this Stugats! I'm the only one that's allowed for a segment. Really, you're turning into Sugots. I'm very concerned about that. I'm very concerned about that because Lucy, I don't know if you were here. I think you were here this day last week. We were wearing the same outfit.
Starting point is 00:11:56 Identical. We were. Sugots and I were wearing the same color shorts and then we both had like a hoodie on. It was like very concerning and then like I looked at myself in the mirror after and I'm like, hmm, I'm not in the best of shape right now. Like, it really has me questioning if I need like a drastic life overhaul. Well, worried me is that you didn't notice right off-ripped
Starting point is 00:12:17 that you and Stewart were wearing the exact same shorts. Like the same color. I still have no idea what you guys are talking about. They're like these minty green kind of teal shorts. You guys were both wearing them at the same time. Well, I don't think they were the same color. I still have no idea what you guys are talking about. They're like these minty green kind of teal shorts. You guys were both wearing them at the same time. Well, I don't think they were the exact same. Mine were like a Deedas golf shorts. Right.
Starting point is 00:12:32 Yeah. And you were wearing a similar greenish color short. Hmm. Yeah. What's wrong with turning into me though? I mean, it's not like if I had like a life chart, right? It wouldn't be that, you know? Nothing against you.
Starting point is 00:12:47 I mean, I don't want you to take this. I'm not taking it personally. Yeah, I don't think it's okay. But now you're sitting in his chair, you're eating peanut M&Ms as a blood sugar fuel is low, I haven't had anything. How do you know that? How do I know what?
Starting point is 00:12:58 Yeah, how do you know your blood sugar is low? What's out there? No, right now, how does you know? I just feel like, you know, like I need a little something. A little something like a big guy. Look at you, you know what I mean? Yeah, like I had made myself coffee and I forgot and I just left it out there.
Starting point is 00:13:10 That was yours? Yeah. I saw that. I didn't have coffee today, because I was right before the show and I put in like the cream where I was going and put in the sugar and I forgot that I did it and it's just been sitting out there.
Starting point is 00:13:19 So I dispose of it, but I didn't have any coffee today. I don't have any energy going on right now. It's just, you know, it's a little weird. Well, maybe this will give you a little shot of energy. For the viewing audience, we have Jessica and Willow out on the couch. Willow is paying off a grid of death punishment. Wow. Really?
Starting point is 00:13:35 The lobster. Wow. Wow. The red lobster. The red lobster punishment, which I didn't know existed, but, well, doing it. I rule with an iron fist. So a human would have had to warn a dog costume as a lobster or a human costume for a lobster.
Starting point is 00:13:48 So does this count as a punishment for me? No, this is, no. No, it's just a thing for you. It just, it works out that way. No, this counts as a punishment for Willow. Willow took something from the bucket, not too long ago and lost. And now that's that punishment paid.
Starting point is 00:14:01 Maybe we'll bring Willow into your studio that the, what the crab run around in there a little bit. It's a lobster, whatever. Is Willow Bobbitt? He was a fine man. No, I accidentally kicked Willow earlier, but that was nice. Yeah, that was not great.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Well, I just walked and she happened to be there though. So the normal motion of walking, you kicked Jess's dog. He'll be around here calling it kicking. Right. There was quite a follow through it. I kind of walked in, honestly. Willow. Like, it looked like you were hitting a 45 yarder. You know what I mean? It was fine. It wasn't exactly like a kicking. I just there was quite a follow through. I kind of walked in the atmosphere. You look like you're hitting a 45 yarder. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:14:26 It was an exactly like a tap. Willow just had something like kind bar. I mean, was there a backswing chocolate? That's great for a dog. Willow wants out. Yeah. Willow's done here. All right. Good punishment. Punishment made. Wow. I don't know. I said maize. Punishment complete. It seemed easy. It seems like a punishment for a dog doesn't really matter because she's not Embarrassed by said you know that you don't know how will it feels does she feel shame dogs can feel shame You ever caught a dog after they like eat you right like like did this and they like look away all like Yes, but how do you know they're feeling shame?
Starting point is 00:14:59 Dude, have you not? Yeah, you know dogs are shame when they do something wrong. I mean, no, there was no shame in Willow right there. She hates it, guys, and let the record show Willow had fun bucket and instant death. And she already paid off her punishment, whereas some of us, she is walking into the kitchen. She's like, I'm hungry. You have not paid off any of your punks. Yeah, some of you, not me, because I'm named names. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:22 I pulled the jets last week and he gave us Sunday's new guts. Nice. Yes. That's why they play the game. That's. I pulled the Jets last week and he gave me Sunday's new guts. Nice, yes. That's why they play the game, Jess. That's why they play the game. Why they play the game. So you guys, Tony has a conundrum that we may need to help them with. Okay, a big problem. All right.
Starting point is 00:15:33 So I'm walking in a deer friends wedding. My wife is officiating said friends wedding. Really? Yeah. Wow. I'm locked in as a groom's man and my wife is officiating. Is this a pity groom's man thing? No. Is this your wife groom's man thing? No.
Starting point is 00:15:45 Is this your wife's connection and they're just like, No, they gotta give Tony something. No, no, no, no. So my wife and my buddy Matt have been friends for like 20 years. They went to middle school together and we've grown up kind of with each other. Right. And Matt's a good friend of mine. So it was a good synergistic.
Starting point is 00:15:57 But more a friend with your wife. No, no, more friends with me. Oh well, your wife's officiating, not you. So more friends with your wife. No, but we don't need to get into that. Sounds like they were like, we need some more friends with Tony. No, but Shannon, Matt's wife or 2B wife is good friends with me. Well, your wife's officiating that you some more friends with your wife. No, but we don't need to get it. That's like they were like, we need someone. No, but Shannon Matt's wife or 2B wife is good friends with Jenny. Mine one. So that's where that came from. But they like you hurt more than you. Yes. So I'm walking in the wedding, but the
Starting point is 00:16:15 problem is USC 294 is in Abu Dhabi this weekend on Saturday, 2 p.m. start time for the main card, which means the championship bouts are gonna be happening around four o'clock, four 30. When am I walking in the wedding? Four 30. So I've got an issue where the fights are only 25 minutes long. I'm not gonna be able to watch them when they're happening. So do I kind of take my phone out,
Starting point is 00:16:37 the thing is, as a groom's man, I'm standing for the majority of the time. So I can't just sit with my phone out. And then when we sit down, I'm right in the front. So my wife's gonna be watching. And if my wife is doing the officiating, watching me of the time, so I can't just sit with my phone out. And then when we sit down, I'm right in the front, so my wife's gonna be watching. And if my wife is doing the officiating, watching me watch the fights, I'm in trouble. That's the problem.
Starting point is 00:16:51 You never told us before that your wife was officiating. Yeah, it's a big hat. Because until right now, this is your wife's day, not even your friend's day, you cannot do that. It's my wife's day, right? It's not even Matt and Shannon's.
Starting point is 00:16:59 It's not Matt and Shannon's day. This is Jenny's day. So you cannot ruin Jenny's day. Yes, Shannon. That's my mom and dad. Wow, are they getting remarried this week? They are crazy divorced. Oh, they're crazy divorced.
Starting point is 00:17:11 Your dad went to middle, not just divorced, crazy divorced. What does crazy divorce look like? What does that mean? I mean, like right under, like, they've gone to court to like sue each other. Oh, okay. That's crazy. They haven't done that, but they do not like each other.
Starting point is 00:17:26 Not how else they are not friends. I think Tony has two options. He can walk down the aisle, go viral, watching the get the fight wall walking down the aisle. That seems like a bad idea. It's not great for the wedding, but I'm telling you it'll go viral and you'll all of a sudden be the guy at the wedding that was watching the fight during the wedding. Yeah, but he pissed his office off his wife. right, fine. He's his wife's day. Option two is more practical. You just stay off your phone the entire time and record the fights and watch him when you get home.
Starting point is 00:17:51 I can't, there are paper views, so I can't buy it and record it. Can you? No, I can't do that. It doesn't work that way. Really? Yeah. I thought you could buy it and just start it
Starting point is 00:17:59 whenever you get around to starting it, no? I don't know. I've never tried to do it. I think paper views just like run on us. Like, I think you can watch it. Not on the FPM plus. Yeah, but Chris, is it possible to get through like seven hours without finding out the results? That's seven straight hours. Right. Commercial, but it's not you. You can't. It's why play by play is like the only,
Starting point is 00:18:16 it's like the only thing that has value to, you know, companies like ESPN. It's why they shifted their entire thing away from talk shows and to just play by play because you can't tip the games anymore. It's also probably going to be on YouTube the next day. You just need to know. No, Chris. You see sometimes like bars. There's no going on. Yeah. And you just find it. I got the free 99 link. That's how someone does it like in reverse something. And it's like, you can't. That's why I can't record it. Record because he's doing free 99 doing free 99. But you know, my wife, very helpful, 99% of the time. This one percent of the time, she was not helpful.
Starting point is 00:18:49 She's like, why is she supposed to do? She's like, record it and watch it later. And I'm like, babe, it doesn't work that way. You don't get it. You clearly don't get it. So you pay for a one fight. What would she normally do, Tony? That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:19:00 If she wasn't a fishy ending, what would she normally do? If she wasn't a fishy ending, I wasn't a groom's man. I'd be sitting probably like 15 rows back with the phone taped to the back of the chair and watching the fight. Hold on a second. You're doing UFC preview show. Correct.
Starting point is 00:19:12 Just expensive. I do. But I expensive when I do a show against it. I don't expensive for free. You're doing a show tonight. Well, you're doing a show tonight. Hey, wait, hold on a second. So guys,
Starting point is 00:19:22 hold on a tick. Wait a tick. I approved it. On Monday, like, you know, let's just plan out Monday second. So guys, Spencer's a fool. Hold on a tick, wait a tick. See how you proved it. On Monday, like, you know, let's just put out Monday's show. I feel like for Monday's show, we should have like a UFC recap, right? Yes. If only someone could watch it. Right.
Starting point is 00:19:35 Okay, let's go around the room. So we want to watch it. I don't really want to watch. I vote Chris. Yeah, I'll do it. All right, so Chris will be expensive. Is that something you have to figure out how to pay for. Some of your logger, some of your logger. your log in yeah Lucy who you voting for so close what what
Starting point is 00:19:48 Yeah, who are you voting for and what you have see recap on Monday? Oh Chris What is that that was a mistake? Oh That sounded dangerously like it of it something. I'm just kidding it was on purpose it It's brought to you by drafting sports book you scode Dan when you sign up on the app a limited time offer for new Customer what are you laughing at Billy? I think I know what happened there. That's an honest mistake, Billy. Yeah, we got to get to spread. Ooh, I like the Colts plus two this week against the Cleveland Brown. You do? Yeah. That's the game that was on your screen, wasn't it? Mitch, you've been looking good lately. Look terrible. It's awful. Don't really know what's going on with the Browns there. It's the
Starting point is 00:20:41 Sean back. Is he not? It's a classic let down spot for the browns they beat the 49ers want to get the cold cold's needed cold's needed yeah I thought we were doing this next segment so I wasn't super prepared that's my back I'm going with something from USC 294 I've got got Hamza Chimayev to knock out Kamaru Uswen. It's a little plus 200 there for you. Yeah. Okay, I'm still sprained. I'm still sprained.
Starting point is 00:21:11 You're not gonna know the results. I won't. Yeah, I have to text Chris. Chris will let you know on Monday. Wait, the Monday? Yeah, because he's gonna watch me. So I'm bored. The only way that I can actually see what happens is if Chris tells me what happened.
Starting point is 00:21:22 Yeah. He's watching for the company, not you. Yeah, sorry. Jess, what are you about? Get off. I didn't know I was gonna be here for the second either. So I have Tennessee versus Alabama again. Against the Red.
Starting point is 00:21:35 Who did you pick? And who did you pick? You just mentioned both Tennessee. Tennessee. Tennessee is a 9.00 dog. And Alabama has been playing some close ones. That's gross. That's gross. But I feel like we're all just picking games because it's the first game that came up Tennessee is a 9.00 underdog and Alabama has been playing some close on this but I feel like we're all just picking games because it's the first game that came up on our screen
Starting point is 00:21:50 yeah because we're ready for this I'm definitely not doing that I'm taking Georgia Tech minus five and a half at home against Boston College because I just study this shit again so Fred Chairber I'll be taking the one and only UCF nights plus 19 in Norman, Oklahoma. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:22:11 Against former UCF quarterback Dylan Gabriel. Jesus. Again. So straight. You know, we're playing for a very real prize. Oh, I know. Take it seriously, Lucy. I'm taking this seriously, and I'm also taking Utah
Starting point is 00:22:26 plus six and a half at USC. USC has struggled against this Utah team. Their defense is good. USC is not looking great right now. So Utah plus six and a half against the spread. Thank you guys. Thank you. That was Chris's idea.
Starting point is 00:22:42 You guys? I think Chris is up. No, he went out. Chris came out of the way. I'm sorry is up. No, he winner. I'm I'm taking the dolphins to beat the Eagles outright. They cover the spread. I am taking the dolphins. Something like football. Oh, good. Good
Starting point is 00:22:55 Good Good Good Good Good Good Good Good Good
Starting point is 00:23:03 Good Good Good Good Good Good Good Good Good Good Good Good Good Good Good Let's go to 80. Boom. He was bow. Wow. I think Billing Time to an eight instead of a eight. Five, it's a clearest day. Wow. You know, I'm still gots. Number eight. He got it.
Starting point is 00:23:14 He's Chris Cooner on the line. C-C. V-C-C. Down Lebatar Show with his still gots. Now, there has been someone we've been hearing from a lot lately, and I've kind of had it. I'm done. The Kelsey's? It could be the Kelsey's that's not there.
Starting point is 00:23:37 Taylor Swift? Could be Taylor Swift, not them. Jada Pinkett Smith. Oh, God. I know so much about her relationship, her love life, her sex life, and I didn't ask for any of it. Every single time I open up my phone, it is her just dropping some new bombshell about her life and her relationship.
Starting point is 00:23:55 And I'm not like a crazy Will Smith fan or anything. I don't particularly care about the guy. And I feel so bad for him. Because every time he opens up his phone, it's just his wife's feeling his dirty laundry everywhere. I'm done. I don't want to know anything about their life anymore. It's just like at what point are we not gonna care? At what point is everybody just gonna open their phone and be like, so like we're done. That's it. I don't want to hear about it anymore. I don't want to hear from
Starting point is 00:24:17 little Smith. I mean, probably ever again, starting with that. I don't care. Obviously, you know, we're keep, we're doing it. We're keeping them around. I'm not gonna say anything the rest of the segment. Well, you know, we're keeping, we're doing it. We're keeping them around. I'm not going to say anything to the rest of the segment. Well, she just did a sit down interview and I feel like she closed the book. Well, no, she knows she's opening the book because she's selling one. Right. I know. A bunch of interviews.
Starting point is 00:24:35 But I think that book is actually closing the book on the entire topic. No, she said she wants to write a book together with Will Smith. Leave the guy alone. I don't know. I'm not. I'm not. I don't want. I don't want it. I don't want it. I'm kidding.
Starting point is 00:24:45 They have a solo. I'm with you on that one. Tony, what is your issue? My issue is, at what point is Will gonna be like, you know what, I'm done with it. I don't wanna deal with it. I don't wanna talk about anymore. Like leave me alone.
Starting point is 00:24:56 He continues to just be back there like, oh yeah, she's making fun of me. Okay, guys, this is cool. Like, it's pathetic. If we're gonna ban books, let's start here. I don't know what he's doing, but he's pathetic at this point. I have no problem with her writing a book and doing all this media.
Starting point is 00:25:11 My problem with the entire celebrity memoir media cycle is that a lot of celebrities, and I saw this happen with Prince Harry when he wrote his book, and I was happening with Britney Spears' book. They, the PR people leak out all of these things that are going to be revealed in the book ahead of time as part of this like media cycle. And then by the time the book comes out, I'm like, I feel like I read the book. Yeah, right.
Starting point is 00:25:37 I don't need, like, I like that part of it. I don't know if I need to read this now because every salacious thing that you are going to reveal has now been on my timeline for like four months. I'm good. She loves Tupac. Tupac's been dead for 30 years. Like what are we doing? I mean, we're like, this is part of the book.
Starting point is 00:25:52 It's part of her story. Yeah, I mean, he was a childhood friend of hers. I'm just saying. What are you supposed to do there? What are you supposed to do? I don't care about it. What are you upset about, though? I'm just upset about the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:26:02 That she used Tupac to try to sell a book? No, well, yes, partially, but the whole thing with Will about, though? I'm just upset about the whole thing. That she used two pots to try to sell a book? No, well, yes, partially. But the whole thing with Will Smith, right? Keep my name, my wife's name out your mouth. You guys hadn't been together for seven years before that. She didn't want you to do that, and you felt the need for whatever reason to go slap Chris Rock on national TV inexplicably for no reason.
Starting point is 00:26:20 Sounds like your problem with Will Smith, though. I do have a problem with Will Smith, yeah. I actually like Jada, and I like that she explained what happened there, because a lot of people blame Jada for will doing that, and she said, no, I didn't tell Will to do that. She doesn't want anything to do with Will, which is the weird part. Why did that?
Starting point is 00:26:34 I mean, she also saw the book. To an extent, yeah. I just think there are some things that they may better... They should be hashed out with your therapist. Let them figure it out, yeah. We don't need to be involved in this. Yeah. I hope they're both happy.
Starting point is 00:26:48 I hope their lives are great. I just want to know a little bit less about what's going on with you because I'm not seeking this information out. It is just bombarding me every day where I'm like, I really don't want to know what your relationship is like at all. It's like, how are you doing? I'm good. And you just move on.
Starting point is 00:27:04 Exactly. I don't need to know all this information. I hope you guys figure this out in private away from me. I don't care. But in private, how do you know about it? And how does everybody know about it? I don't need to know about it. I don't need to know about it. I know, but they want you to know about it.
Starting point is 00:27:16 But guys, it is going on in your life. Time out. Time out. Time out. It's only watch the phone. If you were part of a power couple, I could continue to make money off being a power couple. Would you not do it? Of course. Right. So what's wrong? What are we doing? What's the latest things you're going to have? They're making a book in your
Starting point is 00:27:33 book that you have. Oh, you have no idea. You have a book deal. According to you. Yes, but it's my personal record. But you know, Stugas, would if he did have any salacious things in his book, he would tell us all. Like, I would. I think he's holding on to them for the lawsuit. I don't think so. No. What lawsuits? He's talking about.
Starting point is 00:27:52 Well, you don't worry about that. You always have a file. I feel like you have a file. I'm not worried about my own lawsuit. Are you guys planning a lawsuit on my behalf? No, I didn't say that. No, no, no, no. A little class action.
Starting point is 00:28:02 Action. Claction. Maction. Right. I'm interested in this couple. Little class action. Action. Claction. Maxion. Right. I'm interested in this couple I am. No, you may not. Are you gonna buy the book? You're not gonna read the book.
Starting point is 00:28:11 I'm not gonna buy the book, but I'm interested. Like listen, she's not doing well any favors. I will tell you that. How much more do you want to know? For life. Like how much do you need to know here? But it's up to you what you want to know, right? I would say that it isn't, it isn't where, like,
Starting point is 00:28:27 I don't care about their relationship. I really don't. And she's been talking about it for years. She's had Will Smith on red table talk after cheating on him. Clowning him. But he's reading their clown. Guys, he agreed to do it.
Starting point is 00:28:38 No, no, no, but it's one of those things where like, if she wants to put it out there, that's great. But it's every time I open up TikTok, every time I open up my phone, it is just new information that I'm like, if she wants to put it out there, that's great. But it's every time I open up TikTok, every time I open up my phone, it is just new information that I'm like, I don't really feel like this should be something I should know. I don't think I should know this. It's also being revealed like in drops. It's like just, that's what I mean.
Starting point is 00:28:56 Get it all out there. I'm hoping our cycle, that's how you promote it, right? Yes. You give a little, a couple of interesting nuggets, you don't give them everything and then you're forced to read the book if you want it all. The problem is that it's everything is being put out there like all of the interesting stuff gets out there before the book and that's not just with Jada like just with saying like this is it feels like every celebrity memoir cycle sort of like how music has changed in that way where like there aren't really albums anymore it's like you
Starting point is 00:29:22 just get 12 singles and then they release the album, but that's the whole album. Like, that's the way that the PR cycle is working, where you need to satisfy the entire time for months beforehand. And it's like, it doesn't really leave anything left for you to go find. No, I think they're making a great point. And I would say, yeah, I have more issue with just the cycle of the PR. And it's just wildly uncomfortable to see people who are married just one of his wife
Starting point is 00:29:48 just shitting on him in public. It's not something I just want to be a part of. Like I don't want anything to do with it. And it's a lot of the PR cycle. It's I just want less. I just want less. Hmm. Do you guys feel like well, should get a piece of the book?
Starting point is 00:30:00 Do you think well is getting a piece of the book? No, why would he get a piece of the book? I mean, he's a big part of the book and they're married and're not each other sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sham sh there. He was willing to be there. It's just something that it's like, it's like, if you're at a party and a couple's fighting in front of you, you're like, oh, man, I want nothing to do with this. I'm really just trying to have a good time. And you guys can figure this out behind closed doors. It's just not something that I want to be here for. It's like when you make out with somebody else's wife at the Halloween party. Yeah. So they have a fight and you're like, whoa, I just thought it was my wife. What's happening here? Yeah, but I feel like most people want those details. Like when you see a couple fighting at a party,
Starting point is 00:30:46 they're like, what's going on there, right? Yeah, no, that's true. You've run away from that. You've run away from that. Like, marital strife, why? I just think it's what people talk. It's gossip, that's all. Hey, what's going on with our friends down the street, you know?
Starting point is 00:30:58 Something's off there. I like that stuff. I think it might be my fault. Right. I like the dirt, I do. I think it is human nature to gossip Right. I like the dirt. I do. I think it is human nature to gossip. And of course, especially about celebrities, like we're not interested in Will Smith suddenly
Starting point is 00:31:12 get out of here. We need a little left for the imagination. We know pretty much everything that's going on between the two of them. What's the last thing that Will or Jada did outside from like this? Terrible movies. I am legend. He's turned one in Oscar last year. For what?
Starting point is 00:31:27 What? What do you slap Chris Rahat? Kerr, forget the name of the movie. Exactly. No, but it was, it, I, Richard Williams. I'm linking on it. Yeah, King Richard. That's what it was called.
Starting point is 00:31:36 I forgot it was called the Richard Williams. I knew what it was called. It's a permanent name. Yeah. He wanted Oscar. Yeah. The same, not everyone wins Oscars. It was a pretty big deal. It was a big movie. Set Barrel Street. Uh-oh. Yeah, the same. Not everyone with Oscars. It was a pretty big deal.
Starting point is 00:31:45 It was a big movie. She has like seven. She has two. You know, all of the stuff the last couple of years just made us forget what the movie was. I feel like if that slap never happens, that would have been right at the top of our tongue. No, dude, I'm telling you it was at the time.
Starting point is 00:32:04 Like that was a big movie. He hasn't made a good movie top of our tongue. No. Dude, I'm telling you, it was at the time, like that was a big movie. He hasn't made a good movie in like 15 years. Yeah. I like the heck there. He was a king rich. I like king rich. Then you didn't watch Richard William? Not how to watch Richard Williams.
Starting point is 00:32:15 But name other than that, name a good movie. Men in black, men in black five, I'm back. It's been a while. Is hemsworth in that one? I don't know. I didn't see the last one. You know, you guys never got me a Halloween costume. We brought up yesterday.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Oh, well you want to be for Halloween? Yeah, I need a Halloween costume because I don't want to do the couples thing. We never actually looked at and made fun of my sad B costume. Remember, we like talked about it on yesterday. So you have the picture. We do have the picture now. There's my sad B costume.
Starting point is 00:32:39 That netting, it's clearly not a B net. It's just the random, do you still have that shirt? I actually think it's not that bad. I don't know what's on your pants. Why am I wet? Yeah, that's You should have used them to be damp. Was there another B there? Did you not look at the picture? Hey, man That's funny. I mean it's pollen. That's weird Any well, all right, we can take that picture down
Starting point is 00:33:01 I agree that I don't eat your penis. pete yourself, her name. No, that's a spree. That's not a full-screen. She's doing a thing. You're doing a thing. You're doing a little splatter. What do you mean he's doing a thing? He's doing a thing, I agree. I agree that I don't think the Jada
Starting point is 00:33:13 Pinkett Smith, Will Smith stuff is for me, but it might be for someone else. I'm just saying it's for me. I'm also less inclined to buy her book because I could just read it. The Hollywood Reporter. Yeah, maybe me, my wife could be Will and Jada. No, don't do that.
Starting point is 00:33:27 No, not a good idea. No, not a good idea. Stay away from that one. Let's keep thinking. Yeah, just spit, Bolly. What are you thinking, Chris? Are you going to a party? What do you need to cause for?
Starting point is 00:33:36 I do have to go to a party. That's why. It's all right. I'll figure it out on my own. You guys should be tailors with the Travis Kelsey. I was actually, I did my homes a few years ago. I know and you return the jersey. I remember looking like I never looked in the same way.
Starting point is 00:33:48 I bought a jersey. I don't want to work. I was like, you still have the tags on you. Like I'm returning it. I'm like, oh, I don't want to work. You're explaining how costumes work. That's not how costumes work. I try to return all my costumes.
Starting point is 00:33:59 That's despicable. See? How? You're the one that doesn't, Billy. You got a closet for costumes? It's despicable. Answer the question. Do you have a closet for the cost? Somewhere, yeah, like in a bag somewhere.
Starting point is 00:34:10 My wife probably gave me a way. You're gonna look back for a beekeeper costume. You can't find it. Yeah, I knew it was in here. But Piano, who decides they want to be a beekeeper? That's Chris. It's wife wanted to be a bee and that was the solution. I should have been a bee with actually my idea.
Starting point is 00:34:23 Oh, Dan Micamene and Charlotte take it away in LA. be and that was the solution. I should have been a B with actually my idea. Oh, Dan Micah, me and Charlotte, take it away in LA.
