there are some football moments that just live forever in your brain.
You remember exactly where you were, who you were with, what you were drinking.
And for me, what I'm drinking is Miller Light, because those football moments are great.
But making those moments, Miller Time moments, now that's something extra special.
That's what I love about football season.
Every weekend gives you a chance to relive another great weekend.
You come in on Monday, all am from what you saw, and you come in and listen to Chris Cody,
completely misremember what happened.
And no matter what triumphs are in sore this season, legendary game days start with Miller Light.
It's there for you on game days and there for you when Dan tries to ruin your Mondays.
Miller Light has been a part of those game days and Mondays for me.
It's reliable, crisp, refreshing, and has a clean finish.
It's the original light beer, a true American Pilsner, and the original light beer since 1975.
Make Game Day legendary.
Go to Millerlight.com slash Dan to find delivery options near you, or you can pick up some Miller
like pretty much anywhere they sell beer. Game time is Miller time. Celebrate responsibly,
Miller Brewing Company, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 96 calories and 3.2 carbs per 12 ounces.
Who needs me? I'm, I'm, I'm, I was 16. Take the rest of the day off.
Kentucky Burby, oh my God.
Radars up.
And the next big fantasy.
Watched for you.
Wow.
I'm in partnership with draft.
Man.
Two generations of Cody's, the spine and soul of Metal Arc Media,
so that Dad's dynamics can continue to have a place in your life with the PTFO.
The FBI.
Dot me.
The dot me.
The dot me is the part that I enjoyed the best.
We're going to get to the polls in a second, and we're also going to get to a...
Blaney being hit in the mustache and then going on Hamlin's podcast to talk about it is great NASCAR theater.
But let's go to the kitchen here real quick so I can see this group of people get really mad.
The Fuddruckers has arrived, and those are giant burgers, and I see that Tony's already there,
and Tony's in the other room, and you guys are going to get mad because,
He waits to come in right before you guys go out there and all the good food gets taken.
Everyone knows this.
It happens every day.
I'm willing to go out there and check on it if you want.
Team player.
Go ahead and do it.
All right.
What are you shaking your head about, Greg?
It's criminal what Tony's doing.
He's absconding with my burger there.
He wasn't even working on the show in the show today.
He was working out there, but he's only going to be eating there.
The food bill is getting crazy around here.
And I know the Fuddruckers is going to be.
popular. Don't worry, Dan. I have my sad turkey sandwich. Saving you an extra burger. At least you're
not microwaving fish anymore. I will soon. Before we get to the polls here, Mike, I don't know whether
you want to get your gearhead to talk about this, but this is a story that anybody can understand.
Yeah, this transcends the gearhead segment. This is big. Anytime a mustache gets punched clean off,
you got to talk. Well, Blaney is also cinematic here because I'm confused. While he seems to have a sense
a humor about himself, and I am thrilled, by the way, that he is reacting to this with good
humor, because generally when men get into a prideful fighting position, you don't make fun of
yourself when you get hit in the mustache, but the theatrics of the camera was right behind him,
and he was absolutely stalking, sort of swaggering across the track, and it appeared to anyone
watching this, he was looking for a fight, and then when he got to the fight, he was not
expecting a fight. It starts off like the most badass video of all time. A mass car driver going to go
kick some ass, but then it ends in less than badass fashion with his mustache flying off as if he were
Mr. Potato Head. He had the camera right over his shoulder and he comes in a fighting posture and
he hits Dax Shepherd. Yeah, he pushes Hurricane Hose of Ars Chess. Dax Shepherd takes it, responds in kind.
and just caught him clean on the mustache,
as if he'd been expecting that all his life.
That was not the way I was expecting that to go,
and then the camera gets knocked off kilter.
But Blaney goes on...
The guy was standing upside down.
And Blaney goes on Hamlin's podcast,
and how good is that podcast, Mike?
Action's detrimental is a great podcast,
and Denny Hamlin records it as soon as he gets home from the race,
and so he's filled with emotion.
He's tired?
And he got the best get you possibly could.
I woke up Monday morning.
I was like, man, I would really love to hear Denny's take on this thing and how it all went
down because Denny's been talking that crap about Hosebar too.
And it was a little bit of a delayed release.
I was wondering why.
Well, he got the get of gets.
He got Ryan Blaney to talk about what happened.
Here's a clip.
And I'll be honest with you.
Yeah, I went over there and I got my ass kicked for sure.
I ate a two piece and, you know, got tagged.
pretty good, but, you know, I just wanted to show my displeasure. So I just handed
Hassar my phone. I just said, hold this, and I, and I left. And he had no idea what that
meant. Hold my phone. Not as cool as RC. Hold my watch. But, you know, so I walk over there.
And, you know, I didn't really have a huge plan. Really, the only plan of mine was I'm going
to have a stern conversation with Carson. I wasn't planning on throwing anything. I just really
wanted to grab them and just kind of pretty much yell at him and show my displeasure. And
And granted, I kind of pushed him at the chest and kind of grabbed him pretty aggressively that you're probably going to defend yourself.
And, you know, and he rightfully did.
And so when that happened, I was like, okay, well, I should probably return fire at this point.
And so I had that prepared.
And then Alan, the security guy, he got me.
The guy on the green shirt.
Yeah, Alan, he subdued that pretty quick.
The guy in the green shirt holds Blaney back and Hosebar gets a free shot.
You guys got to freeze that on the free shot, okay?
and I just want to cover with you guys.
Explain to me how, explain to me how rage works here
that Blaney, with the clarity of hindsight, is telling you,
I didn't really have a plan and I didn't want to fight.
But once you hit the other dude in the chest,
you are looking for a fight.
Like, that's not about a stern talking to.
Once you've made physical contact with someone,
you have a camera crew behind you.
Yeah, so, I mean, there's cameras everywhere.
But yeah, he did hand somebody his phone.
I think I saw a boom, Mike.
So part of the host of our stuff,
Hosefar is the first driver to go to the Met Gala since Jeff Gordon.
Hosefar is becoming a star this season.
It's been, he's been the story, what he does on the track.
He finally won a big race.
This picture is funny, Mike.
It's hilarious.
Blaney having his neck held for just a quick strike to the mustache.
Guy in green shirt thought he was helping Planey out,
and he just ate another shot over there.
His hair looks crazy.
Yeah.
But this is all.
good for NASCAR and if you want any evidence of it, nobody got fined. Not a single person
got fined for what happened because NASCAR enjoys what's happening with Carson Hosavar. Carson
Hosavar is becoming a superstar that is being talked about weekly. He got clog.
This is one of the great sports photographs I've ever seen right here. It's not as good as the
Ole Miss one from over the weekend. All right, so let's talk about this for a second. Before we get to
the polls, I'd like to talk Zaz. When you think of greatest sports photographs ever
taken because there are a number throughout sports history.
And the Ole Miss players laughing at Lane Kippen was pretty funny.
They hate him.
It was pretty funny this weekend to see them just sort of run past him, pointing at him,
mocking him.
Hey, coach, thanks.
You left because you're going to be a better champion there.
This is our ceiling.
And we just kicked your ass with a better quarterback.
This photo went so viral, so immediately as soon as Abby Miller from Ole Miss.
tweeted it out. It is
one of the most
incredible taunting photos.
Because Lane Kiffin, if you zoom in on it,
he just looks stunned.
And it's all of these former players.
This photo should win an award. It is an
unbelievable sports photo.
Like, I put it up there with any
sports photo you have ever seen in action.
Well, let me see some more nominees because I think that's
hyperventilating, given that the Blaney photo
is better than that. No, it's not better than this.
That's ridiculous. It's silly.
It's not better. You've got a mustache. You've got
him being held by the neck and he's getting caught flush by Shepard.
Shepard with a right hand catches him.
What other photos do we have here that we would nominate?
What do you not, Greg, when you think, I remember ESP in the magazine being very big magazine.
I remember the first time I opened it up and I saw Michael Jordan's game winning shot in game six at Utah.
And it was the crowd that made the shot because the Utah fans were all widely, widely terrified.
and there was one Bulls kid who had his hand up with the ball in the air because he knew it was Michael Jordan.
Well, not only that, he had his hands up with a six because they're about to win their sixth title.
Yeah, like, and there was just one kid in a Bulls jersey, and he was surrounded by fear in that photo.
Muhammad Ali standing, this was in Miami Beach, right?
Yeah, Muhammad Ali is like number one on that list, right?
Like just taunting, standing over.
Yeah, that's a photo.
Over Sunny Liston, yeah.
That's a great photo.
I love the, after the miracle on ice, when there's something.
celebrating on ice and you have the one player on top of the other player and he's got his arms
raised and it's amazing picture you remember when indy chavez made that catch uh in left field on the wall
the wall during the playoff catch and it's just framed so perfectly like where you could see he's up
over the wall in a way that you don't see a lot of home run robberies that was i think in nLCS you do
every week you see one back then and it was a clean jump it wasn't a step up off the wall it was
I'm going to stand there for a few seconds, jump up in a snow cone catch, and to capture that moment perfectly?
That's incredible sports photography.
How about at WrestleMania 30 when the Undertaker streak ended and you had the fan sitting in the front row and his eyes were like,
he couldn't believe, Dan, he couldn't believe it.
I think that you guys need to watch a little bit more baseball because what's happening with the athleticism in that sport is that you'll be watching a Nationals game and Jacob Young will make the greatest catch against the wall
that you've ever seen,
better than the one that he made with his foot.
The one that he made with his foot down here,
where he stepped up twice like Spider-Man and made a catch.
That's not the one with his foot.
You're not even thinking about that?
I'm talking about the ball that hit his foot
because it came out of his glove and hit his foot and he still caught it.
He was 21-0, Dan.
I mean, I remember the hand of God, the Maradonna photo,
just simply because of the moment.
Like, you have that one as one of the great photos.
Obviously, like, you can remember in the Ray Allen shot,
there's an incredible shot from down low where you can see
Ray Allen and you could see LeBron James's hands up in the air where he's not wearing the headband,
which gives you the context of that game in particular.
Obviously, there's Brandy Chastain and the moment that she had.
And you could see, I mean, the celebration, the pure joy after, you know, she rips off
the kit.
And then there's like kind of a billion different LeBron ones when he was with the heat.
There's LeBron wearing the black mask where he looks like a supervillain.
The LeBron photo I remember is weighed over his shoulder.
Yeah, that one's not on Getty images.
Undertaker was actually concussed in that match.
He didn't remember the finish.
He couldn't tell you about it if you asked him.
At Lebitard show on the polls, what do we have today?
Jeremy, Juju is out today because we have only one black employee.
I do want to show you one more incredible sports photo taken by us.
Billy Gill.
That's the best he's ever looked.
Best he's ever looked.
I think best anyone has ever looked.
Look at me on the call there.
As a mean stretches out.
Why are you like an angel's at?
Look at Pablo's doing sprints in a dress shirt.
I thought you were a Yankee fan.
Pole, do you ever drink coffee at 7 p.m.
or later, 67.6% of the audience says, no.
Come on, Warner, give me some meatloaf.
And the last poll, should the raise bring back the devil?
91% of the audience says yes.
Come on, war, give me some meatloaf.
