There is nothing casual about football season.
You can tell yourself, you're just going to watch one game, and six hours later,
you're emotionally invested in a fourth quarter between two teams you don't even care about.
That's what I love about this time of year.
The entire weekend becomes football.
Your texting friends, tracking games, second-guess and coaches,
convincing yourself you saw something before everybody else did.
And then Monday comes around and you get to do the whole thing again.
Those are the weekends you remember.
And for me, some of the best ones have usually involved some good people, a great game, and a cold Miller light.
No matter what triumphs are in store this season, legendary game days start with Miller Light.
Cold, crisp, refreshing, that clean finish.
And it's part of plenty of memorable football weekends.
Make Game Day legendary.
Go to Millerlight.com slash Dan to find delivery options near you, or you can pick up some Miller
like pretty much anywhere they sell beer.
Game time is Miller time.

So instead of hearing this lovely track, you'll hear this in seconds.
Hello, intact insurance.
That's right.
It's Thursday Thunder is presented by Drag King Sports.
Strap Kings, the crown is yours.
Juju.
Yes, sir.
Thursday Thunder, we are bad, ladies and gentlemen.
I'm just kicking it tonight, you feel me?
I usually wait to the Sunday games, but not tonight.
Tonight, I'm going with over 60 yards for my brother, George Pickens.
He didn't have such a great game last game, but his yard still was over.
Two catch to about 70 yards, man.
So yes, sir.
Next leg,
Buckie Irvin.
They got the Ricky quarterback right now.
They got to depend on that run game a little bit more than they usually will have to.
So we're going over 13 and a half rush attempts for Bucky Irvin tonight.
Next leg.
You just seen my boy, he caught a thousand passes last week.
Nothing here is making me think.
that he won't catch at least six balls tonight.
So we're going with over five and a half catches
for CD Lamb tonoids.
And the last leg, rookie quarterback.
He got his favorite targets.
He used to watch TV just like us.
And he has the ghost of Chris Godwin on his squad
and he thinks he needs to get him over three and a half
boughs tonight.
Lock it in.
Thursday Thunder, Drap King Sports,
now available in our house.
available in our 50 states.
Juju, a statistical oddity is happening tonight on Thursday night football,
courtesy of my friend Terrick at Cleven Analytics.
This matchup tonight is the number 32 pass offense versus the number 32 pass defense.
It's only the fifth time in the last 25 years that this matchup has occurred in the regular season
after the first month of the season.
The 32nd ranked offense is 4'0 straight up, even though they've been favored all four times.
this is an outlier.
This is a great example of a stoppable force meeting a movable object.
The Dominic Foxworth Show is something that you should listen to if you want to get your facts right.
Georgia is a one point, one and a half point dog at Bama.
Since 2021, Georgia's only been an underdog three times in the last 78 games.
Is this game in jeopardy being moved?
I just saw a recent weather forecast that said,
are certainly in the picture, but winds only at 20 miles per hour, I say only. But it seems like
some of the worst stuff that they're anticipating the area is still going to be a little removed.
These hurricanes, though, the hurricanes are gathering in speed faster than they used to,
and weather abnormalities are going to be all over the place. So it got very fast, like, that hurricane
has escalated to Category 3 status in a very short period of time. Let's get to some of the fun stuff
here with Juju. Do we have any
top five lists, any jokers of
the day, any other things that we need
to be doing with you right now, Juju.
Yes, sir, man. First off,
Joker of the Day, man.
Oh, my goodness.
New York Liberty head
coach Chris DeMarco.
I'm saying.
Look, man, four seconds
left in the game.
They are down three points. They have
travel to full length of the court.
What was that?
They have a timeout in their pockets.
He chooses not to call a timeout saying that he didn't think they had a timeout.
They asked the officials, they say they didn't have a time.
Brother, you are the coach.
I don't give a damn who say got a time out.
You are the coach.
You have your own statisticians over there.
I think that since New York, y'all call y'all selves the Mexico.
right? This is an egregious offense as a former Hooper.
I say y'all make a change and do what's right.
Fire Chris DeMarco before game three.
We're not doing that.
Whoa.
Why not?
Mid-series.
That's my guy, man.
This is, okay, well, reprimand salute.
Okay, I'm going to change my tone then.
I'm not because I ride for my dollars.
But for you not to call that time out, imagine if this was the NFL,
and it was 10 seconds left in the game.
game. And you know what? The coach decides to kick a field goal and he has a time out, but he
tries to make the field go come on and then time runs out before he got the kick. We would have his
job in question the next day. So Chris DeMarco, salute to you and the mean, but you sir are
the Joker of the day. He's right. He's right. That league loves blaming referees. I'm sorry.
It is such a bad job by that coach. It's such a bad job. Let me play DeMarco's advocate here.
If the refs, even if my bookkeeping says I have a timeout,
if the refs say I don't have it, why would I call a timeout?
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Hold up, hold up.
You think if Eric Spolstra, what was told that he knows he has a timeout,
but the referee says you don't have any more.
Spalch is like, all right, I guess I'm just going to eat it.
Spow famously very recently called a timeout he did not have.
It's like one of the most famous examples of exactly what he was.
Okay, because he believed that he had one.
It's going to haunt him until his deathbed.
He's going to be on his deathbed.
It's going to haunt him.
Just like the second apron.
Yes.
Yeah.
But this is the problem here.
Because see, now this is all they're talking about.
Brothers, this is distracting y'all from the belt that Atlanta is putting across that
ass right now.
I don't want to hear about this timeout stuff all day.
And did they have not?
Did you see Ainsman Reese though?
It's my problem.
You getting this from an Atlanta dream fan.
I'm disgusted by your non-calling of a timeout because I respect the game, bro.
I want to win the right way.
Get him out of here.
And also don't let that distract you from the worst past I have ever seen in WNBA history.
Right.
From Sabrina Yonetscu with under 10 second left.
She threw the ball on the fourth row.
Yep.
Who the hell is you passing it to, ma'am?
That's what I said.
No, Zaz, did you see that?
Yeah, I said the same thing.
Who are you passing it to?
Yes, of course I saw it.
And they want to talk about the timeouts.
No, sir.
They love blaming the referees that league.
They love it.
Right.
Any top five list for us today, Juju?
Yes, sir, man.
I had a top five that stem from a video I saw online where a kid and a guy, he caught the baseball.
So an adult caught the baseball, and the people around his section was pressuring him to give the ball to the kid.
Did you guys see this video?
Yeah.
Video team.
Do we have this video for the audience?
There we go.
Wow.
I'm not kidding.
giving you to the kid. I feel bad, but I'm giving you.
Who's that guy?
Oh, no.
Oh, look at that kid.
Great camera work.
Oh, no.
An adorable kid.
Well, I'm a jerk.
You don't do that.
I hate that.
You know, I caught Derry Mence's towel,
handed it over to a child immediately.
You're a hero.
I am.
Thank you for noticing you.
You're amazing.
You wouldn't have known if I didn't tell you.
Yeah, see, and that makes me want to bring this to Judge Zaz,
because as an adult, you buy these tickets,
and I would see if,
If you are in a scrum and you and the kid are going for the ball.
Okay, cool.
Give me one second, little kid.
Let me take a picture right quick, caught the ball.
Here we go, a little boy.
You feel me?
But he just caught a ball and a kid just happened to be sitting in the section.
Judge Zazz.
Wait, wait.
So I just heard, I just heard, uh, Juju request a court date.
All rise.
The honorable Jonathan Zaslow now presiding with prejudice.
I've seen the evidence in this case.
Everyone knows that when an adult, especially male, gets a foul ball, great.
Celebrate it for a moment, then look around for the closest little kid and you give it to him, all right?
But the defendant in this case, this is a guy in his early 20s, all right?
This is a young man here.
This isn't even a real grown-up.
He's allowed to keep that ball.
Whoa!
He's allowed to keep that ball.
Whoa.
If I catch a ball in the stands,
I must immediately give it to a child, and I will.
But that's not a grown-up right there.
That's a young man.
He's allowed to keep the ball.
Plus, he's a Dodgers fan at Dodgers Stadium.
I'm not giving it to a Braves kid.
If I'm giving it to a kid, it's going to be a Dodgers kid.
Guys, we're focusing on the wrong thing.
The camera work is incredible.
It's awesome.
The guy pans to the kid and then zooms, and the kid hit the mark perfectly.
Right as he says, I'm not giving it to a kid.
Perfect pan to the right.
Yeah.
The game was in Atlanta.
And an adorable kid with an adorable haircut.
Name three songs.
I was a Dodger fan in Atlanta.
It was in L.A.
Okay.
That kid can tell me the top of the rotation of the 96 Braves.
He can have it.
So, yeah, so from that, I was under the influence of thinking that, you know what?
I think, bro, Mike should keep that ball, man.
Salute to the kid.
But salute.
It made me think of a top five list that adults stopped doing.
for no damn reason at all.
You feel me?
Number five, dancing, bro.
Athletes.
When did it come taboo to jazz?
Let's a move right quick.
I'll be going out to my homeboy.
They are so gangster.
They will not take their hands out of their pockets, man.
We need to start dancing more.
Juju, that's a, I think that's a cultural thing, man.
It's like a generational thing.
Because back in my day, everybody dance.
Everybody dance.
Until Fat Joe said we don't dance,
we just all we do is this.
That's when it changed.
Do the rock away.
Number four, making forts.
Athletes.
Come on, man.
Living room for it.
Let's put the cover that started from here.
Tuck the pillow under there,
and I'm going to watch TV on this side, bro.
Uh-oh, I fart it.
Here's the air vent.
Like, come on, bro, what happened to that?
It's fun.
Bring back for it.
It's Snoop.
Snoop knocked down that fort
And ever since then,
forts haven't been cool
Right
Number three
Just bust a random cartwheel, man
He's walking down the street
Just bus a cartwheel
Out of nowhere, man.
Who says no?
Athletes.
Why not?
My sciatica.
You dig it?
That's who says no.
But see, you got the sciatica
because you stopped doing
cartwheels at one point.
That's what happens to us.
You dig it?
Not to hear nor there.
Number two, man,
just throwing up the random
S on the piece of paper, man.
You know what I'm talking about if you know, man.
Just draw the S.
To this day.
Six lines.
To this day, Juju, still be doing it.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Not going anywhere for a while.
Just throw it the random S on your paper, man.
Money sign S.
And the number one thing, man, that we just stopped doing for no damn reason.
Hold on.
I'm going to do it real quick and prompt to.
Finally saw his belly bun.
I took several years.
but he finally showed me.
Nice.
Oh, I used to love that move, Ju-Ju, do it.
Oh, it's a best.
Yo!
Wow!
Oh, I love that move.
We're supposed to do that forever.
Okay, so Roy just said to me,
Roy just said to me,
helpfully, describe for the audio audience.
How the hell am I going to describe what he just did?
Athletes.
How do I describe what it is that he just did?
He took one arm,
tucked it inside of his shirt.
attached it to his other arm that wasn't tucked inside of the shirt,
and then had something growing out of his stomach as he moved his arms up and down.
It's his hog.
At Lebitard Show, on the poll questions, you can vote at any time of day or night,
whenever it is that you please.
What do you have, uh, Juju?
Have you ever heard the word news?
Start with the letter R.
93% of the audience says, no, they have not.
Feed me, Seymour.
I just realized in order for Juju to pull that off, he had to know that he was going to wear a long-sleeve shirt on this day.
That's great attention to details.
I have to correct a point that I made earlier.
I actually had seen the sage production of Little Shop of Horrors, and I just totally forgot that I did.
Not an important correction.
I'd like to be honest and admit when I'm wrong.
Damn it.
Did you guys see my Proud Center?
Did you guys see my belly button?
Miracle Center.
Miracle Mile.
Actors Playhouse.
Wow.
Wow.
There's a nipple.
What do I do here?
85% of the audience says yes
Do you know why they call it an apron
88% of the audience says no they do not
Do you want to be a smarter fan
59% of the audience says yes they do
And last most important poll
isn't a mean awesome
67% of the audience says yes
And those are your pose
What are you doing?
You're doing a groucho mark
Shaking a fake cigar at us with a paper
Like that's what you're doing
Bye bye
