There is nothing casual about football season.
You can tell yourself, you're just going to watch one game, and six hours later,
you're emotionally invested in a fourth quarter between two teams you don't even care about.
That's what I love about this time of year.
The entire weekend becomes football.
Your texting friends, tracking games, second-guess and coaches,
convincing yourself you saw something before everybody else did.
And then Monday comes around and you get to do the whole thing again.
Those are the weekends you remember.
And for me, some of the best ones have usually involved some good people, a great game, and a cold Miller-Light.
No matter what triumphs are in store this season, legendary game days start with Miller-Light.
Cold, crisp, refreshing, that clean finish.
And it's part of plenty of memorable football weekends.
Make Game Day legendary.
Go to MillerLight.com slash Dan to find delivery options near you, or you can pick up some Miller-Light pretty much anywhere they sell beer.
Game time is Miller Time.

Now more than ever, quality matters, but so does price.
At Marshalls, you don't have to choose.
You can get the good stuff for less, the stuff that lasts, because there's no point in tightening your belt if it's just going to break when you do.

Start of the day, start of the day.
This year, start of the day.
Start of the day, start of the day, this year, start of the day.
Start of the day, start of the day, start of the day.
Start of the day, start of the day,
this year, start of the day.
You are not a loud eater of apples.
You do not know how to make the crunching sound
because you have no confidence in your fake tooth.
You have done it.
I have a new confidence in my tooth, damn.
It's not making a loud enough apple sound.
Those are crispy apples, and we could have done...
It's like muted. It's like a silencer on it.
Seriously.
In Kenneth Walker's last 10 games for the Seahawks and the Chiefs,
he is 10-0 and has totaled 1,400 yards and 12 touchdowns
while averaging 5.5 yards of carry.
Also, Stephen A. Smith is presently getting
crushed by everybody because he says of Lane Johnson and him leaving football and citing mental health reasons.
Quote, now he calls it quits, not before the season, not in the off season, four games into the 2026 season.
A dude that has been in the league forever sits back and says, I need to focus on my mental health.
I do find encouraging that the conversation around this has shifted enough.
at least in part because of what DeMarre de Rosen and Kevin Love instigated in starting a mental health conversation,
where it wasn't taboo to be in the masculinity of the huddle and say,
look, I need help, I'm feeling frail, my mental health, it's not a weakness to admit that I need help with mental health.
It's a strength to be able to admit that publicly.
For sure.
I think what Stephen A. Smith said, a lot of people think, and certainly if you're the head coach of the Eagles, you're thinking to yourself, I wish it'd told me three months ago.
But having said that, Lane Johnson has every right and responsibility to look out for his own health and for his family.
I just don't get that.
At Lebitard Show is where it is that you vote on the polls.
We have some polls to update from today and from yesterday.
It's Shadow Show, but we also have some other things.
things. How you like them apples? We have some stuff to get to here with Juju. Did we forget any
headlines here today, Juju? Did we forget what? We covered a lot of ground today. What didn't we
cover? Yes, sir. We didn't cover the veteran running back. Joe Mixon was signed by the Seahawks.
And after the physical, they said never mind to bid brother Joe Mitzin. So he's back a free agent.
Does this mark the end of his career? Do you think so? I mean, that happened pretty
quietly and without a lot of fanfare where
Mixon can't pass a physical
Seattle needs running back help and I just
don't know what they saw on his foot or anywhere
else that would tell them he's not physically
capable of paying for us. Same thing as the Texans saw which was like
this foot is not working. What else did we miss?
Leonel Messi marked his 208th
and final game for Argentina with his
126 goal man as his
country bids the boy farewell.
Mike, what you think about that bit, brother?
Like, was this a good enough farewell for the goat?
I mean, the jerseys that they wore that were dedicated to him was pretty cool.
The photos of him on the team bus showing emotion in ways that we don't really see that type of emotion coming from Messi.
So I thought it was a really cool moment.
And to have it as basically an exhibition made him the star of the show.
So I dug it.
Yeah, obviously it was the meaningful farewell to Argentina was during the World Cup.
This one last night was strictly ceremonial, but it drew 85,000 people to an otherwise meaningless friendly.
And he did get emotional, and he also had two assists along with that penalty kick goal.
So he just, thank God he's still playing for Inter Miami because the global soccer is not ready to say goodbye to Messi yet.
outstanding. What else did we miss today, Juju? Yes, sir. Lastly, man, we miss
OBJ has now been signed to the Minnesota Vikings joining Justin Jefferson, T.J. Hawkinson
and Jordan Addison. Is this news? Is this big news? No news?
Wow. I think it's practice squad, so I'm going not really news yet. But Cody just gave you a
wow and he was wide-eyed with the news. I have to say, I thought that was the end for OBJ when he was
released. I'm thinking, that's it. That's his
quiet. Farewell. The NFL
is retiring him. But apparently
I was wrong. They should be.
Like, if you're signing OBJ at this
point, your wide receiver room's in danger like a
Power Ranger. Like, you have nothing left.
Ghostos to show you if Justin Jefferson
is probably not going to play this week if they're signing
OBJ to the practice squad. Before we get to
the polls here, did you have any
thoughts, Kuna related? Because
he's an unbelievable
baseball player and some of those stats that we gave you before as Freddie Freeman continues to be
great for the Dodgers and Matt Olson continues to be great for the Braves.
Acuna being stinky is not something that I had happening.
Your thoughts here, Juju?
Acuna Matata.
Right.
Right, bro.
Here in Atlanta, you cannot find a jersey, a place that sells jerseys and a kunia is still in there.
That brother jerseys sell off the rats instantly.
and he's now becoming a little bit James Hardinglish to me in the playoffs.
So it made me think top five James Hardens in all of sports right now.
Woo, let's do it.
Any OLLI or we're starting straight with number five?
OLLI right now, I just got to give it to my little sis.
She was a Ricky, but she still is on this OLLI list, Olivia Miles.
Yeah, she stunk it up pretty bad, but she'll get them next year.
Number five, the man of the hour, Ronno Acuna Jr.
Brother, you got to do something, fight back, swing, scratch somebody, or something, charge the mound.
Number four, Jalen Duren.
Brud, I think I dothed on Jalen Duren last playoffs, if I'm not mistaken.
Everybody took a turn.
Salute.
Number three, and I hate to do this.
Baby, close your eyes.
I know you're watching.
Josh Allen.
Oh, no.
He has been more hardened than not.
Yeah.
Last year, he could have,
if he would have put that ball
where it was supposed to have been
last year in Denver,
none of them conversations
would have been happening, man.
So yeah.
But this year,
probably it'll be the same damn thing.
Number two, Greg,
can I get a witness?
Connor, mid-David.
Oh.
Get him out of here, brother.
I think he goes to sleep and sees Greg Cody's face every single night, bro.
What you think, Greg?
I think you're right.
Right on.
McOverrated, still three years later.
All the way in the mic on that one, huh?
Talk to him on mic in years.
He was delighted that they were talking about him remembering him feeling right.
Look, there's nothing that makes Greg Cody's narcissism happier than you're talking about him and making him feel.
right for reasons no one could explain.
He began shadow boxing.
Yeah, you. He began shadow boxing
right and left. He was throwing very
slow punches that wouldn't have hurt anybody
or broken through paper mache.
Ropa dope. Your punches
don't go that fast. Why are you
making those noises? And
the number one, James Hardin
in all the sports right now
still raining
because my boy still got a little time left.
James Hardin.
It's a good punctuation.
on the list here. We've got some
polls to update at Lebitard
show from yesterday, from
today. Juju
punctuate the segment here
strongly, sir. Are the dolphins
a cap-sized boat?
95% of the audience says
yes they are.
It's been a stupid
name.
63% of the audience said,
yes it is.
Uh, uh, uh, and.
Do you know what a sty is?
77% of the audience says, yes, they do.
Uh, uh, uh, have you ever had a sty?
54% of the audience says, no, they have nines.
Uh, uh, uh, uh, is getting a sty twice a year considered often.
91% of the audience says, yes, it is.
Uh, uh, uh, what is?
What is that?
What do you mean?
Who is that?
Who is that?
It can't be me.
No, it's not you.
How do you not know who that is?
You're right.
It can't be you.
Who won?
I don't.
Why don't you keep...
Play it for him until he gets it right.
Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, a...
Good job, dad.
The very next guess.
Wow, process of elimination.
Take the rest of the day all.
Zagaki.
And last poll, if a full, if a little bit of the day,
field goal kicker doin's a field goal should it be worth more points 68% of the
audience says yes and those are your pose uh uh uh oh oh oh oh oh
