Starting point is 00:00:00 Dana Lashes Absurd Truth Podcast It's his life mission to make bad decisions It's time for Florida man
Starting point is 00:00:12 All right We got Florida man But top of the next hour We got her Christine Holmes out That just came out POT has confirmed
Starting point is 00:00:19 It will have all the latest All right so I know It's a crazy Crazy Newsday Let's see Oh I need the Hello Kitty one first
Starting point is 00:00:28 Sorry sorry This one comes up first Because this is like a Madlib's headline. Ready? Florida men caught with meth inside of a hello kitty bag during a traffic stop. Now hold up. What kind of hello kitty back? Like are we talking a backpack? Are we talking like a coin purse? I don't know. I need to know. The driver, Raymond Allers 43 and the passenger, Tyler Humphrey 37 were inside. K-9 had to come in. And the deputies say, oh, boy, oh no,
Starting point is 00:01:00 Did you see those mug shots? That is messed up. That is messed up. I mean, you know, to quote Mike Typhon, that's messed up. So, Allers, as he exited the vehicle, the bag that he was holding, he apparently dropped it and left it on the seat. And the canine alerted to the bag. And it was a little hello kitty bag. And inside they found all these pipes and bags of meth.
Starting point is 00:01:25 It was a little pouch. So it was a little hello kitty pouch is what it was. He tried to run, but that's not going to happen. And so they got charged with all kinds of stuff, as you can imagine, like drug paraphernalia, things like that. And I got to charge with everything. So, yeah, not smart. Never run. Like, why would you do that?
Starting point is 00:01:42 Also, let's see. Oh, I need to get into this one real quick because a man decided to turn a jail cell in, well, he tried to, he tried, okay. He urinated in the patrol car and then he flooded his jail cell. with a t-shirt in the toilet to make an indoor pool. Sorry, she. Shekeeda Brunson, 42 of Coral Springs. She just made an improper turn, got pulled over, smelled like liquor, urinated inside the squad car, and then flooded her jail cell.
Starting point is 00:02:16 Yeah, she posted Bond, got out. Third hour next. Welcome to the program, Dana Lash, with you. We're at the top of the second hour. I'm sure everybody has seen the story at this point of, the hubbub that took place in the capital with this Marine yesterday. And he got us, ended up getting his arm broken on top of it. This was a crazy story.
Starting point is 00:02:48 And I'm looking at some other new video of this. Uh, because it's the guy's name is Brian McGinnis. He is a Marine and he was there while they were having their hearing. And he walked in and he was wearing his uniform. And he started screaming. I'm not dying for Israel. And he ended up getting dragged out of the Senate office building by Capitol Police. And then Senator Tim Shee as a result, because he was disrupting this hearing.
Starting point is 00:03:23 He's from North Carolina. This is the video of the initial dust up. Look. Out. No one. What's the fuck? for Israel. His hand, his hand. He's hanging on to the door and he's got his hand in the door frame where the door folds back and he wouldn't let go. And Tim Shee was grabbing his arm trying to dislodge his arm and
Starting point is 00:03:57 apparently it broke his arm while he was doing it. And then everyone started screaming, oh my gosh, the senator just broke this veteran's arm, et cetera. Can I just say something really quickly. I think it's silly to, I'm going to put it like this. The founding of this country meant that we had people like Sam Adams and Paul Revere that stood up to British military. They questioned, they stood up, and they weren't going to be run by a military junta, so to speak, right? I don't believe that because you wear the uniform that that means you are unquestionable. That means anything that you do is unquestionable because I've seen people wear the uniform and do very bad things, General Millie. I've seen people wear the uniform and do very bad things,
Starting point is 00:04:51 Alexander Vindman. We've seen it a lot before. I can give you a list of people. It's like the same thing with police. Back the blue is not a universal statement. That is a case-by-case basis. I appreciate what law enforcement does. But I've sat on the stage with a bad cop who tried to blame me for his incompetence. I had another cop who was a big time Democrat down in Austin threatened to follow me and docks me because I questioned his commitment to the Second Amendment because he was a big gun control chief. So yeah, there are bad cops. There are bad cops out there. Just like there are people who serve in the military who are questionably characterized. And it's okay to say that because I'll be damn. This is the blank in USA. I can say whatever the hell I want. And if people don't like it,
Starting point is 00:05:42 they can choke on it. And the same thing for you. You don't get a pass because of X, Y, Z. Your argument gets measured on its merit, on fact, on logic. And your motivation gets measured on your character and your previous statements and your previous activism, just like this guys does. This guy is basically, he's not basically, he's a leftist communist who believes in open borders. So stop right there before everybody dives onto the ground to defend this guy. Know who you're defending, first of all. That's a big point. There's video of him out there in his Marine dress blues waving the Ghazan Hamas flag.
Starting point is 00:06:26 He repeats Hamas propaganda on social media. looked, he's a giant lefty. And don't say, well, I'm a liberalitarian. I think some people who don't know what words mean will say that they're capital L libertarians when really they're commies. It's what a lack
Starting point is 00:06:44 of consistency will do. By the way, as far as what happened, it's a bummer that he chose to do this. I think his wife is Muslim and it seems like she made an Islamist out
Starting point is 00:07:00 him if he wasn't already, but I would say he absolutely isn't Islamist. When you're out there waving the Hamas flag and you're repeating verbatim Hamas propaganda, I'm absolutely going to call you an Islamist. So he's screaming this. He gets removed and they're all like, oh, well, you broke his arm, etc. He shouldn't have been there in his uniform disrupting a meeting, a hearing in the first place. You're not supposed to do that while you're wearing your uniform. And you're not supposed to wave, you're not supposed to hold up the flag of other nations, especially when those nations are run by designated terror groups, designated by the United States, your boss.
Starting point is 00:07:46 This guy, and here's more, this is cut nine. He's a very big pro-Hamas, pro-illegal alien Islamist mouthpiece. Watch. Congratulations to Hamas and the Ghazans for. repelling their oppressor of the Israeli Israelis and causing the ceasefire. We must as Palestinian supporters watch this deal unroll out and see make sure it's legitimate and fair and and also continue to support Palestine with our wearing kofias or any type of apparel to show we are a strong front we must
Starting point is 00:08:25 continue to ban together with other minorities the elite the immigrants the people that are getting taken out by ICE, African Americans who have been subjugated for the longest time and who I believe are the grounds for resistance in America, they have the most experience, the most strength, and the most experience. So his wife is an Islamist. He is an Islamist too, clearly. And there's some question. And Lorraine's going to have a piece on this later as to whether or not his arm actually was broken before she even got there because he had it in the door before she even got there. And I mean, it's interesting because all the people that are really upset over Brian McGinnis had no problem with Capitol Police shooting unarmed Ashley Babbitt. Notice the difference.
Starting point is 00:09:14 The same people, exact same people who are out there defending Brian McGinnis had no problems with an unarmed Ashley Babbitt getting shot and killed. Just FYI. The wife, big time is like that. So it seems like she converted him unless he was converted already. But no, you can't show up in your uniform and start shouting Hamas propaganda and disrupt a Senate hearing. You can't do that. No.
Starting point is 00:09:46 If you want to go and act like an ass on your own time, out of uniform, out of service, you go do that. But when you sign up for the military, I don't have to tell people this. We're all big kids. There's an expectation and a requirement for your behavior. particularly when you're in uniform. So this is a problem that this guy made for himself. It's unfortunate that he chose to do that, but alas, here we are.
Starting point is 00:10:13 And the left, you have Code Pink out there. Let me tell you about Code Pink. There are probably about 10 years ago. I met her at a number of events. She's a Gold Star Mom, and she was with a bunch of other Gold Star moms, did a lot of work with them. They were in D.C. And that was when, I think this was towards the, actually it was more than 10 years ago, because I was still, I think I was still my 20s.
Starting point is 00:10:38 They had a thing with Rumsfeld. This was at the, towards the end of Bush's term. And Donald Rumsfeld was in D.C. And they were having some kind of thing for, I just remember a thing for veterans and Gold Star families. And Code Pink, led by Medea Benjamin, was across the street with coffins. And they were harassing veterans,
Starting point is 00:11:00 veterans, and it was all on video. Because I remember, it was, I think, I was still, I think I had just been moved to evenings through the week. So it was at the start of my radio career. And I played the audio of this because they were harassing, Code Pink was harassing these veterans families, these Gold Star families. Imagine being a gold star family and looking across the street to see commies, Islamist commies, and that's what Code Pink is, because they're very
Starting point is 00:11:28 tight with Hamas, they support Hamas, they have defended Hamas, they have defended Hezbollah, they have defended Iran. They defend all the things that make veterans or make Gold Star families. They're big supporters of the things that create Gold Star families and they're fake posturing to care for vets. And I played the audio and they got into it. And my friend, who isn't a very well-known Gold Star Mom, had to get pulled away before she got an assault charge. So I don't have a lot of respect for Code Pink. actually I don't have any and Code Pink is out there on this guy they're like yes this guy
Starting point is 00:12:08 is yeah and remember they also are really good friends with Marjorie Taylor Green who's an absolute fraud but that is who these people are this guy is a far left Islamist Kami who believes in open borders
Starting point is 00:12:26 he doesn't believe anything that you do and he does I just don't know how you're a and you're out there repeating the propaganda of the entities that make Gold Star families. And you don't have to be in the military to ask these questions. That's what the revolution was about. Every citizen can ask these questions. It's not a right just afforded to people in service.
Starting point is 00:12:50 And I say this is coming from a military family. It's your right, your God-given right, protected by blood of all of our relations. I don't know anybody untouched. So don't listen to the media nonsense. on this. But the same people who are upset over this veteran had no problem with the shooting of the other veteran. Ashley Babbitt had no problem with that. You know how most makeup makes you look done, but not necessarily like yourself? I get so tired of products that cover everything up and it leaves product on my skin and it makes it dry and cakey and makes you feel like you're wearing a mask.
Starting point is 00:13:33 So that's why I tried Jones Road Beauty's Miracle Bomb. You just warm up a small amount of product with your fingertips, you tap it on your cheeks, on your lips. You can even put a little bit on your eyelids if you want for some color. And it gives you this effortless, clean girl glow instead of that heavy makeup mask. And it can also replace so many steps and products. Think of it, highlighter, bronzer, blush, your lip tint, but it's all in one little jar. No brushes, no 20 frillion step routine. I mean, it's great for busy mornings or school drop off or travel. If you got like an early morning flight, you want to look nice, but not overdone. Or when you're running around after a workout and you just, you know, want to look fresh. And the best part is that

It's time for Dana's Quick Five.
Starting point is 00:14:45 Okay, so the Vatican is warning against cosmetic surgery's cult of the body. This is very interesting. It's a new text approved by Pope Leo, top Vatican commission, warned Catholics against using cosmetic surgery, saying it's an unrealistic search for a perfect figure. Interesting. I feel like if you're going to come out against trans, just say trans. Trans. Don't just like lump it into Omol Cosmetic Surgery. Because I think
Starting point is 00:15:12 that with, I mean, I think there's all a stage of body dysmorphia, but I think some is like super severe. And I think some maybe isn't. Not to train stuff, obviously. But I just feel like they're like just come on and say trans. Would you live in a 3D printed house?
Starting point is 00:15:28 I wouldn't. No. No. Hell no. Now they're apparently making futuristic 3D printed homes. They're hitting the market in California. The first was built in 24 days. it sells for $280,000 and it just was a white box. It's a bland white box. That's it.
Starting point is 00:15:45 San Francisco School District is investigating a math teacher's question, how much money to spend on a date with a girl based on her weight. I think it's actually hysterical, but they're like, thank them, br-br-br-br-brough. They said it's inappropriate, and I think they just need to calm down. Stop neutering your children and making it to where they can't exist in society. 74% admit to having some nerves about flying in a new poll about fear of flying. Christy Noam is out. Senator Mark Wayne Mullen from Oklahoma is in. It is official. And official being that POTUS has already tweeted about it. Well, he put it up on
Starting point is 00:17:42 truth social and it's out. And apparently, I guess, every, Christine Oam and Mark Wynne were both notified. He, this is what he put on truth social. He says, quote, I am pleased to announce that the highly respected United States, Senator from the great state of Oklahoma, Mark Wynne, will be the next DHS Secretary, effective March 31st. Current Secretary, who has served us well and has had numerous spectacular visits, especially on the border, will be moving to be, will be moving to special envoy for the Shield of the Americas, our new security initiative in the Western Hemisphere that he's announcing on Saturday from his resort in Doral, Florida. He goes, I thank Christy for her service at Homeland. Okay, so my first thought is, that's going to take a vote from us.
Starting point is 00:18:28 for the Senate. Now, I don't know, Stitt's the governor up there. I don't know how that appointment process works. I don't know how long it takes. But, because I know some, they have to have a special election, but apparently Oklahoma, Stitt can just, I think he can appoint someone. But I don't know how long that takes. And we've got the SAVE Act right now. You know what I mean? So I'm a little nervous about that. We need to stop pulling out people from the Senate. Stitt's been described as a moderate, so I don't know who he's going to pick. That's the other question. He's, he's been assailed as of late by folks saying that he's too moderate. So if that's the case, then is he going to appoint a moderate? Because Mark Wayne Mullen, for my understanding, is pretty conservative.
Starting point is 00:19:11 You know, he's got two first names even. So he's, you know, pretty conservative. So I don't know what we're going to watch that. My, so why did this happen? That's, that's the question. All right. So the reason why it happened, is apparently because it all started with her questions and answers, her answers during the hearing. And it kind of smacked of a little bit of corruption a little bit. And the reason being is, this is Per Luke Roziak. So she had told, there was a $200 million contract for DHS. She had gotten $200 million for an ad contract.
Starting point is 00:19:59 And it apparently went out to a competitive bid. And then career officials, Rosie Access, picked the winner, but only three handpick companies were allowed to bid. One firm that subbed to the spouse of Christine Ome's aide, McLaughlin, that Tricia McLaughlin, and then one linked to Lewandowski. And then one was a Trump influencer. And so DHS that it reviewed, websites and industry articles to determine that these companies were the only ones who could quickly
Starting point is 00:20:28 run a $200 million ad campaign. Night doesn't do TV ads, Rosie X says, and he's a daily caller, reporter. One company had an empty web page and a disconnected phone, and the other was literally created like three days prior. So the ad campaign starred herself and was reportedly aimed at it, and it was all on Fox News. Okay, I, scale a one to ten, how honest you want me to be here, or not honest, I'm always going to be honest. How forthright do you want me to be? Do you want me to put it or not? You want 11? 11. Let's let me ask the chat. What do they want? They want 11 or do they want like two? I need to know before I get into this because there is a smorgas board of opportunity here. I'm going to let them weigh in. I'm letting the chat weigh in. Lorraine's going to let me know. I'm
Starting point is 00:21:17 going to let them weigh in. I need to know scale of 1 to 10 because while we wait for that, the Daily Wire testified, a reporter testified to the Senate about the government contracting schemes at the request of Republicans. Rosiak said that he looked into the contracting records and they are very unusual. Now, Luke Rosiac is a straight, you know, straight shooter. I've known him for a decade. A really solid reporter. We've had him on the show before. He is one whose work is pretty unassailable. Like that's, Rosiak's work is the type of work that you can take into a courtroom. So that's, that's, you know, kind of, that's how that works. So, okay, everybody's saying 11. All right. So, hmm, $200 million ad buy where she put commercials about illegal immigration on Fox News and they starred
Starting point is 00:22:08 herself. She was like in every frame. I think that she treated taxpayer dollars and a 200 million ad buy as a vanity project so that she could show off her filler and her extensions. I'm not hating. I'm just saying, we all know it. Stop lying. And on Fox News, like, how many damn illegal immigrants are watching Fox News? Why do you have to have a 200 million ad buy? I know ad buys are expensive on Fox, but I've not seen these ads. I've only, I've not seen them anywhere else. Have you came? I'm not seeing them anywhere else. Rosiak says, it's all really weird. Like, why are, I mean, you're, it was purportedly aimed at illegal immigrants who watch Fox News. What? So that's, I think she used it as a very.
Starting point is 00:22:49 project to brag about herself. Christine Ome is self-obsessed. She's obsessed with her image. She's self-obsessed. I think whether or not she's doing a good job at getting the border situated, and a lot of that is because of Tom Homan, is I think that you can question her involvement in it, but she doesn't do herself any favors with this type of stuff. And I think it was McLaughlin. I might, and I'll double check that, but it was one of her staffers that apparently this stuff that this firm that this money went to. And they were trying to say that it wasn't 200 million, that it was only like another six figures, but still, that's a lot. And I think that there deserves to be questions. But I need her to stop being so self-obsessed.
Starting point is 00:23:31 I feel like some of these people, they go to Washington and they have midlife crises and it's ridiculous. Stop it. I'm not begrudging anybody doing any kind of, you know, cosmetic, whatever. I don't care. Just do your damn job and I don't care. But when it seems like you're more self, you're more obsessed with how you're viewed and more obsessed with your appearance than you are at transparency and not doing stuff like this, then yeah, it comes into question and we have a major problem. I told my husband when I first saw these ads all over Fox, is she talking about DHS or is this a Christy Noem specifically ad? Because it's her face and it's images of her and she's like all over it and she voices over the entire thing. And it seemed a little weird. And you guys have
Starting point is 00:24:12 heard me mention on the show before. Why couldn't that budget be? used to just show the illegal aliens that have been arrested or been detained and deported instead of her, you know, glamor shots of her. I get a little tired of it. And then it just makes it all seem like it's performative. I don't like unforced errors. I don't like people who continually turn in unforced errors. And I think that when you are becoming a giant unforced error, you are a liability. So Trump gravel pitted her. He cricketed her. Where's the lie? I know you all saw it the same thing. Can't tell me I'm wrong that all those ads, you didn't stop and go, is this about Christy Noem or about
Starting point is 00:24:50 DHS? Yeah, I mean, that was the question. We just assumed all of it was approved and, you know, there's a budget for that sort of thing, but you're right. It was very Christy-centric. So the reason that Trump reportedly got angry is because she told Congress that it went out to a competitive bid and that Trump was aware of it. Apparently, now, this is what I'm hearing. That made him mad and that was the final straw. because apparently he was not aware and he did not like it. And that's it. Trump will overlook a lot of stuff.
Starting point is 00:25:25 But when you start implicating him, he ain't going to overlook that. I mean, he overlooks a lot of stuff. That's why he had some stupid people in his inner circle for some time before he kicked him to the curb. Sometimes I think he values the perception of loyalty more than competency. that I would say is his biggest flaw. And I think it came into play here. So now they have Markway Mullen, who they're pulling from the Senate. Now, if it's true that Stitt can just appoint someone there, again, I question how conservative
Starting point is 00:25:59 that person's going to be because Stitt has some criticism against him for being kind of a moderate. However, and, yeah, they had this over there. It seemed like it seemed a little corrupt. So it seemed like. that there wasn't a lot of oversight with that. So I'm just saying, I'm not really upset about this at all, but you don't embarrass your boss.
Starting point is 00:26:30 That's a big thing. When you make a problem for your boss and you, you know, like I said, you make an issue for him in the press, then you can't be surprised when something like this happens. I had to say, I was at the Doral one time. And we were having dinner and Don Jr. was there and that's when he was still with Kim Guilfoyle. And I watched her. I saw her come in with Corey Lewandowski. And they sat at a table. And I'm not saying anything. I'm just saying what I saw. They entered together and then they sat away from everybody else in the restaurant, in the Doral in a room that wasn't actually being used away from everybody. I'm just saying. I just thought, you know, I mean, you had Sarah Huckabee Sanders that was there. She came in with her. staff. Everybody came in with their little, you know, their little coterie of people and they came in and they sat away from everybody. We were very nice and said hi, but it, everybody at our table,
Starting point is 00:27:30 we all had this, everybody at our table. We all kind of went and because there were so many people around, it was one of those things where you didn't want to say a lot because it would have gotten out public. So everybody just kind of did the whole like brainway. thing when I all looked at each other and it was just odd. It was a little odd. And that was a few years ago when the whispers were kind of already underway. But I don't even think that was a factor here. I think it was, it's the issue of the ad buy because I have not seen any other, not even military, have that kind of advertising power like we saw on Fox. How many ads would you? I swear on one one hour, one prime time.
Starting point is 00:28:14 Ads on Fox are crazy expensive. Superbeats runs ads. I don't want to tell everybody's business. They run ads on Fox. Those ads are not cheap, y'all, especially during prime time. Who, boy, and Fox is very particular about their ads. If they don't like your ad, they won't air it. It's not like other networks. They're very bougie about their ads. They are very strict with them.
Starting point is 00:28:40 So it's very expensive. And I did think it was weird that there were so, I can understand like a couple here and there, but it's like every day, every hour. That's a lot of money. And if you're not saying, I would understand it more if they were like, here's who we got this month. Right? And then you show a mugshot and then by the mugshot, they have the offenses of the illegal alien. And here's this and their offenses.
Starting point is 00:29:07 Here's this and their offenses. Because there's enough that they could do that. I've even suggested doing that, but they didn't. It's just her face, and it's her, and she's here at the border, and she's doing this, and it's just a little, it seemed a little self-indulgent, right? So now she's moving to the Shield of Americas, and maybe this plays more to her strengths. I don't know. Or maybe it's, maybe it's, he's like putting her out to pasture.
Starting point is 00:29:38 I don't know. we're going to see he's apparently going to be announcing this thing soon so you know we'll see how that goes but uh i don't know is she get a is she going to get a jet with that i don't know we'll see but it's pretty decisive and you can tell he's taking this very very seriously thanks for tuning into today's edition of dana lash's absurd truth podcast if you haven't already made sure to hit that subscribe button on apple podcast spotify or wherever you get your podcast
