My administration will find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity
and to other political violence, including the organizations that fund it and support it,
as well as those who go after our judges, law enforcement officials, and everyone else who brings order to our country.
From the attack on my life in Butler, Pennsylvania last year, which killed a husband and father,
to the attacks on ice agents, to the vicious murder.
murder of a health care executive in the streets of New York, to the shooting of House
Majority Leader Steve Scalise and three others. Radical left political violence has hurt too
many innocent people and taken too many lives. Tonight, I ask all Americans to commit
themselves to the American values for which Charlie Kirk lived and died, the values of
free speech, citizenship, the rule of law, and the patriotic devotion.
and love of God.
Charlie was the best of America
and the monster who attacked him
was attacking our whole country.
An assassin tried to
silence him with a bullet,
but he failed because together
we will ensure that his voice,
his message, and his legacy
will live on for countless
generations to come.
Today, because of this heinous act,
Charlie's voice has become
bigger and grander than ever
before, and it's
not even close. May God bless his memory. May God watch over his family. And may God bless the United
States of America. Thank you. That was POTUS, who has now spoken twice about this, the horrible events
that took place yesterday. And then, of course, now we also have the annual observance of 9-11.
These are really dark days in America right now. Welcome to the program. Dana Lash,
with you. We are at the top of this
first hour.
And it is
it is
these are the times it gets really hard
to be in broadcasting. I'm not going to lie.
And we've covered a lot of these
stories. We've covered a lot of
whether it's mass casualty
incidents or
you know news
tragedies involving politicians
and you know
I was on air to talk when we lost our
late friend Andrew Breitbart
and this is difficult because, you know, we all know, Kirk.
My husband and I have known Charlie Kirk since he was a teenager,
since he was, you know, I think 17 or 18 years old.
And I know we were one of the early supporters of Turning Point USA
because there hadn't been up until that point, you know,
aside maybe from Yaff, a group that was focusing strictly on college kids and we needed more.
because, you know, the halls of academia are where it, these battles are really originating.
I mean, look at every nation that has descended into tyranny.
I mean, it all starts with, you know, colleges and Russia with Marxism and China with the
color revolution, all of that.
And it was needed.
And we knew, we knew him for a long time.
Didn't agree with them on everything, but who cares?
Who agrees with anybody 100% on everything?
I think the point of this, and I remember.
wrote in Substack last night is that out of everyone in this industry, and there's some really
ghoulish people in this industry, and there's some really bad actors that are on the right,
he was who he was publicly, privately. That's really rare. I can't tell you guys how rare that is.
He was the exact same person privately as he was publicly. And he was very consistent.
And he really did care about what he was doing.
He initially got launched by another great guy, Foster Freeze, who I had the pleasure of having dinner with one time.
He was a very nice guy.
And Charlie left college and then basically became ten times greater than I think he would have been of had.
He stayed in college.
And so it's difficult because you still have, you still have, you.
You still have to go on television and you still have to talk about it, even though you know this person and you met their wife and you've seen their kids and you don't like to see this befall anyone, especially someone who was the nice guy. He was the nice guy.
When everyone says we need to have a national conversation, Charlie was having it and they shot him for it.
So I don't know what you're expecting to hear from me today if you're expecting to hear some words of like wisdom or calm or.
restraint, but I really don't have a spirit of peace right now, so I'm going to tell you that.
And when you see good people for no good reason, mowed down the way he was, there is a rage.
And I got to tell you as well, I think that it is a righteous rage.
And I'm already tired of seeing these people preening and giving lectures on how they think you should
react and when and how you should express anger. Let people have their righteous rage because it's
deserved. Some of us have been doing this for 15 and 20 years and we've been down this road so many times
and we've heard, oh, well, we need to have a national conversation. The right is the only one
having the conversation. And as much as people don't want to put this in the categories of right
and left, and I'm not eager to do it. But I'm also not going to sit here and gaslight my audience for the
purpose of some BS fairness that, oh, well, this, you know, it's both sides. We're not doing
both sidesism because there's one side that's doing the killing. There's one side that has consistently
done the killing. And for just purposes of understanding that we're going to dive into that. And I'm
going to give you the history of it here. But there's one side that's been doing it. Today,
we're going to talk about some of the media response, some of the lawmaker response. And can I
just say the overture and all of this was Luigi Mangione? If people did,
didn't think that it was disturbing to watch swaths of the American citizenry celebrate
a guy who in cold blood shot a man to death in the streets of New York over health insurance.
He was celebrated. I mean, they gave in the Boston bomber treatment.
That's what this is right now. That's what all of this, it's, it's, it's infuriating.
So we're going to dive into all of this.
And we have my friends Kurt Schlichter.
We're also going to talk with David Beauxel from Media Research Center because it is about as bad as you would think.
The left on blue sky apparently was horrific.
The latest that we know is apparently in the Wall Street Journal confirmed this.
It was a Mauser 30 out 6.
And I thought originally it kind of sounded like that because of the heavy.
It was kind of hard to tell from the audio because of the acoustics of the area in which he was speaking.
but it sounded more, it sounded not like a 22, that's for sure.
And I, we have a Mouser.
I have this rifle.
It's a bolt action, one, and one spent round was in the chamber.
And apparently the shell casings had engraved trans Tifa stuff carved on them.
That is some of the latest.
That was confirmed earlier by the Wall Street Journal.
And they're investigating it.
Of course, CNN said federal officials.
officials probe, rifle, and ammo scrawled with cultural phrases. They weren't cultural phrases.
It was the Trans-Tifa call to war. We're not going to, we're not letting the media get away
with us. We're not letting lawmakers say, oh, well, the people who are being killed and shot at
need to tone down their rhetoric. No, maybe it's the left. Joe Biden once called Republicans
verbatim, an existential threat to the security of this country. How long do you think that these
politicians, these lawmakers can say this type of stuff, these things before somebody's like,
well, you know what, I'm convinced they really are an existential threat. So I guess I should
react to it. Words aren't violence. Violence is violence, but I will be damned if I am lectured to
by anybody who has been applauding that kind of language that we have heard from the left for the past 30, 40, 50 years, not doing it.
So it's a hard show today because, like I said, I do not have a spirit of peace. And I really, ultimately, the irony in that is that that's kind of how I think it should be approached.
Because Charlie Kirk only ever wanted to go and have a conversation with people. My gosh, he went to college campuses and he smiled.
about it and he never got any aggressive beyond level one sassy and he was super nice he was
the moderate he was the nice guy he was the one that had good intentions and his gestures were
rooted in good faith and you have people out there that are so hyperbolic that everybody
who disagrees with him is hitler everyone who disagrees with them as a nazi everyone who disagrees
with them as a fascist. Everyone who disagrees with them as a racist. These people who
sodomize the English language with their hyperbole, they are the ones who cannot live with a
difference in idea. He could, and he went into the lion's den. And he calmly and peacefully
debated with a motivation that was rooted in goodwill and a knowledge base that was moored in fact.
So spare me the national conversation because we tried it.
And now you see what happened as a result.
Here's another thing that I'll caution people.
Everybody who's lecturing, we need restraint, we need calmness.
I don't discount that.
But I don't feel it in my heart.
I really don't.
I mean, I told Jesse Waters last night, it's really hard to be a Christian right now.
The discipline required to walk that walk of discipleship is very different.
right now. And it's not made easier by charlatans in office on MSNBC, on CNN, who have no,
refuse any accountability for where they have driven us with this logic. If they bring a knife
to the fight, we bring a gun. Warning, Kavanaugh. You guys remember all of this. We'll play the
hits for you here. No, we've been having a national conversation about this for quite some time.
it is a war of good and evil. I don't even think it's a war between right and left anymore. I think we need to stop
dressing up evil with distractions. It is evil. It's not political. It's evil. This is a battle between good and evil. And it doesn't just take place in this plane.
So we have some things to break down. But I just wanted to kind of let you know my perspective on this. I don't know what approach you're expecting me to have. But as I said, I do not have.
but as I said I do not have a spirit of peace right now at all whatsoever.
Jesse made the remark to me, we've been down this road a couple of times before and we have.
And you kind of get burned by it and tired of seeing the double standards.
And you're tired of seeing people who are insistent on dragging American society right to the precipice of disaster
and then completely refuse any all accountability.
Oh, let's just move along to get along.
We should be able to talk.
Well, that's what we've been saying for 20 years now.
This is not something that you can get away from.
So coming up, MSNBC, they fired Matthew Dowd, after his heinous remarks yesterday.
I have some lawmaker reaction.
I have media reaction.
The security logistics, the rhetoric war, and the calls for gun control.
We're going to get into all of that here.

And now, all of the news you would probably miss.
It's time for Dana's Quick 5.
Some of the other news, we're going to get into how the FBI has released a photo for the person of interest as well.
And some eyewitnesses were saying that it looked coordinated.
And we're going to dive into all of that coming up, just an FYI.
Some of the other headlines that are making news.
Findings by NASA's Mars Rover provide strong hints yet of potential signs of ancient life.
This is something that we touched on yesterday.
They're a little bit of tiny things, so that doesn't count to me.
Spain is set to introduce strict new countrywide bans at beaches, restaurants, and bars.
This is one of the things reported by the sun.
They're banning smoking in Spain, which is weird because I've never met a Spanish person from Spain that doesn't smoke,
so I don't know how they're going to live through this.
But they said they're banning smoking at all outdoor venues, and that means outdoor restaurants,
beaches, terraces, and it includes both e-cigarettes,
vapes, as well as regular cigarettes.
So that's something that they're getting ready to implement,
if that's important to you.
NYPD is boosting presence at critical locations.
This was all in place ahead of our observation of 9-11 today.
A huge fire erupted at a Paris restaurant
as riot cops are battling the Block Everything protesters
with more than 350 people arrested.
This is what?
How many weeks now that this has been going?
are very good at rioting. But they've made hundreds of arrests. They've been trying to disrupt
transportation links and bring the country to a halt. There's a lot of photos and, uh, of the destruction
and the fires and riots. So, uh, again, that's going into like what a couple, a couple of weeks now.
And the Secret Service missed a loaded Glock in a bag at Trump's golf course. How? Something else we have
to touch on. Stick with us. The partners that bring you the program, Patriot Mobile is the only
Christian conservative cell phone service that is in existence. Look, if you want, I'm just going to be
real. If you want to pay a lot more for your cell phone service, if you want to get just horrible
customer service, you just want to be treated like dirt and pay an arm and a leg and, you know,
have like sketchy, patchy coverage around the country, then please by all means, stay with your big
mobile company. And then when you send them your money to pay your bill, they're going to donate that
to Democrats. And that's, this is all open literally.
it's public record, opensecrets.org.
They'll donate it to Democrats and CRT and all the stuff that you vote against at the ballot
box, but undermine with by doing business with these companies.
Your values and how you do business, that needs to reflect, you know, what you believe in.
And it can safeguard it as well.
And that's what you're doing by working with Patriot Mobile.
Not only are they the largest Christian conservative cell phone service in the country,
but you're going to pay less.
That's just a fact.
You're going to pay less than what you are previously.
They have plans tailored to every family size, every business size, singles,
dinks, donks, whatever you are, they got you covered.
And it's also, they have a 100% U.S.-based customer service team, nationwide coverage,
because they're operating on all three major networks, so you're connected wherever you go.
Seameless switching as well.
It literally has never been easier to switch.
So switch on today.

But following up what was just said, he's been one of the most divisive, especially
divisive younger figures in this, who is constantly sort of pushing this sort of hate speech
or sort of aimed at certain groups.
And I always go back to hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions.
Lord God, put a hand over my mouth right now.
So that's Matthew Dowd, who got fired for those remarks yesterday.
He was saying that I was on MSNBC.
And then it came out that he was fired after those comments on the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
welcome back to the program
Dana Lash with you
here on this dark day
it's also the observance of 9-11
Matthew Dowd was once
a Bush advisor
and then he went on ABC News for a while
I first met him during the midterm elections
for the 20, between 2010
and 2012 actually it was about 2010 I think
when I met him
maybe 09-2010
and it was the first time I ever did
any kind of election coverage and we were at
ABC Studios
It was George Stephanopoulos and Diane Sawyer, and I was the token conservative tea partier.
And I was on with Donna Brazile, Jennifer Granholm, interestingly enough, and Matthew Dowd, who was, if I were to give you my true thoughts, Brendan Carr would not be able to save me in his role as commissioner of the FCC, because that tells you everything.
I didn't think, I did not have a good opinion of Matthew Dowd then, and I don't have a good opinion of Matthew Dowd now.
sidebar, he's dating Maria Shriver, so that kind of gives you some insight.
He's blaming, this is not just blaming the victim.
This is just shifting all culpability and responsibility to do something like this.
This is what I'm talking about with the left.
These people cannot coexist peacefully in a world where they think that simply a difference
of opinion on policy is quote unquote hate.
speech. I'm people can pound sand right now with their calls for unity. I told you I do not have a
spirit of peace today. I've been doing this. My gosh, I'm in my 40s. I've been doing this since I was in
my 20s and it's not gotten easier because the rhetoric has no matter how nice we are, no matter how
graceful we are. And I know that's what we're called to do. Like I said, walking the walk of
discipleship is really, really hard during times like these. I'm going to talk with my friend
Kurt Schlichter about this coming up because I think there's a way to thread the needle.
But that said, Matthew Dowd is one of the people who thinks that the left can say what the left
says, but simply the mere existence of a policy disagreement is hate speech. It's Naziism.
It's fascism. I am so tired of the bastardization of the English language from these hyperbolic stuges.
If you think that someone's difference of opinion on policy means their Hitler, you are mentally ill.
I think you should be locked up so that you aren't a threat to anyone else.
If you honestly think that, if you think that this administration is fascist, you need a dictionary and a mental health evaluation.
I am tired of entertaining this broke-ass rhetoric.
And that's exactly what it is.
It's not a substitute for wit or intelligence.
But MSNBC, they could not be deterred with one.
They kept it going.
Can you believe this? Audio Soundbite 3.
Stunning.
In which a shooting like this happens.
Yeah, and again, I emphasize what you just emphasize.
We don't know any of the full details of this.
We don't know if this was a supporter shooting their gun off in celebration, so we have no idea.
Wow.
That was Katie Torr who was hosting it.
She's talking about that she was hosting this conversation and someone said, oh, well,
could have been somebody shooting their gun off in celebration.
or not the Taliban thanks.
That's just ignorant.
What an ignorant comment.
How is that helpful or insightful?
Is that worth the ad dollars
that these people in MSNBC pay
to have their products wedge between this verbal diarrhea?
I, Audio SundBite 4, MSNBC then hijacks the conversation.
They got to make it about gun control.
Listen.
Just to give you guys a sense of the gun laws in Utah,
there's constitutional carry.
is of May 2021, individuals 21 or older, can legally own a gun and carry it openly or concealed in public without a permit.
Again, no permit is required or needed to buy or possess a firearm.
There's no waiting period, no state mandated time period for firearm purchases.
Utah does not require the registration of firearms.
Both open and concealed carry of loaded firearms without a permit are legal, again, for those 21 and over.
Murder is illegal. It doesn't matter. Murder's illegal. Period. It's illegal. And if you're going to sit here and cite that, then talk about all of the people who live peacefully. I've never shot anyone with my firearms, but then again, I'm not a leftist. These, it's, it's ghoulish, ghoulish, as though it's other people's fault. It's not, it's the fault of the victims somehow. I saw a lot of this.
yesterday. I'm going to tell you something, and I said this to AOC, and I will say it again,
as it relates to this insistence on disarmament, if you think that we are giving up our guns now,
because that side won't stop killing us, you are diluted. And this isn't gun violence,
it's leftist violence. And for the people who caution me about saying leftist, it's leftist
violence. There is a long documented history of leftist violence. I'm not even going to use my own
experiences in this or experiences of other conservatives I know who have had to go through the same thing.
And we've been real cool about this for like 15, 20 years now. When Occupy was raping people in their
tents, when you had Chas Chop, when they sent jackboots out to go and bully tea partiers, when you
had ball fields of lawmakers shot and killed, when you had two Jewish embassy workers shot and killed,
in front of the museum in D.C.,
when you had a Scotis justice targeted by an armed leftist,
so when you had Rand Paul,
who was nearly beaten to death in his own yard.
So if someone's response is to lecture on righteous rage,
show yourself out.
The radicalism is the problem.
The leftist obsessive tribalism is the problem.
J.B. Pritzker was one of these lawmakers
who immediately, immediately decided to blame
for some reason the people who are constantly targeted.
Audio Sondbite 16.
My sympathy to Charlie Kirk's family and to Charlie Kirk,
who obviously has become a target for somebody.
I don't know whether it's political violence because I don't know who did it.
I know they seem to have somebody in custody.
But I will say that political violence, unfortunately,
has been ratcheting up in this country.
We saw the shootings, the killings in Minnesota.
We've seen other political violence occur in other states.
And I would just say it's got to stop.
And I think there are people who are fomenting it in this country.
I think the president's rhetoric often foments it.
We've seen the January 6th rioters.
Here, you want to talk about rhetoric?
Go ahead and prepare for me audio some by 23.
Let's go ahead and make, let's talk about rhetoric, shall we?
Let's talk about rhetoric for a moment.
I want you to hear Chuck Schumer.
You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price.
You won't know what hit you.
What about Audio Somebody 24?
This guy wants to run for president in 2028 and has been out there talking about rhetoric.
Let's hear his rhetoric.
Gavin Newsome.
I'm sorry.
I know some people's sensibilities.
I respect and appreciate that.
But right now, with all due respect, we're walking down a damn.
different path. We're fighting fire with fire and we're going to punch these sons of bitches in the
mouth. Hmm. I mean, we could go on. We could talk about Joe Biden saying that Republicans are,
quote, an existential threat to the security of America, end quote. We could talk about Barack Obama.
We'll bring, they bring a knife to the fight. We'll bring a gun. We could sit here and do all of this
stuff all day long. There's a whole montage of it, a montage of it. Then you have Congressman
Dan Goldman, audio sound by 21. Go ahead and play this one.
I mean, they're talking about war. There's a war targeting conservatives.
Yeah.
Look, it's, that is incredibly dangerous. I am really, really disappointed.
And what I would urge, I would really urge the President of the United States to speak out against that.
I don't view this as an issue of the right or the left.
I think we've seen political violence, you know, on both sides of the spectrum.
Oh, my gosh.
You want to talk about the rhetoric?
You want to talk about war?
Go ahead and play this flashback from actually just recently.
Audio Sound by 22.
This sounds like Democrat Senator Chris Murphy, not President Donald Trump.
Listen.
Like we're in a war right now to save this country.
And so you have to be willing to do whatever is necessary in order to save the country.
Oh, so what was that again, Dan Goldman, about being in a war?
What is that again?
I mean, I could do this all day.
I'm fully prepared to do this all day.
Every single time you guys say, well, you need to tone this down.
I have at least 20 clips of you guys saying the same stuff.
And then you have the audacity to act like it's the people who are being targeted.
These people have made life dangerous in America for conservatives.
You have people who believe that you can just, presto change your gender away.
Hell, you can get them to believe anything.
You can get them to believe that Trump is the next Hitler.
And gosh, I mean, if you love America, do you really want Hitler to continue to be president?
Do you see what I'm saying?
It's not even about mental illness.
This is about good versus evil.
Rhetoric.
The rhetoric, really.
the woman who accused Trump of literally being Hitler and a fascist said this audio soundbite 19
Elizabeth.
Oh, please.
Right.
Why don't you start with the president of the United States?
Right?
And every ugly meme has posted and every ugly word.
Really?
You called him a fascist and you said it's like Hitler.
I mean, these are the words that you've used.
And again, you think that you say.
that for 10 years and more, at some point, people are going to start reacting to that. And the violent left
has always been violent. We're going to talk about that coming up. Can I just share this with you? You want to
talk about how ridiculous this is. Audio sound by 25 yesterday on the floor of the house, Congresswoman
Lauren Bobert requested a moment of prayer for Charlie Kirk, and Democrats shouted it down. These are the
same Democrats that couldn't even applaud for a young black kid that had cancer. Audio sound by 25, please.
What purpose is the gentlelady from Colorado rise?
Let's, let's, let's, let's, wait a minute, wait a minute.
The house will be in order. The house will be in order.
The house will be in order.
Democrats couldn't even do that.
Like I said, they wouldn't even applaud a young black boy that had cancer, if you remember,
at the, the first address by POTUS ahead of the state of the union.
They don't call the first one state of the union address, but they couldn't even do that then.
No, we're not doing this.
We're not going to do this because nothing ever changes.
The left always says, oh, the right needs to tone down its rhetoric.
Oh, the right needs to alter its tone.
And then they absolutely do nothing.
They say nothing to their own side.
Maybe you should stop calling everyone Hitler.
Maybe you should stop saying that everyone is a fascist.
Maybe you should stop impuging the character and accusing people of great offenses of
immorality.
Maybe you should stop that.
And here's the crazy thing, too.
I don't know if you saw, well, I know you didn't see it because I won't go on blue sky, but I saw screenshots.
The stuff that people have been posting on social media, this is not like a couple of leftists.
And what's weird is that these lawmakers are trying to be all full of restraint when they talk to the press.
But I've seen literal people using their names.
They're pediatricians.
They're nurses.
They are members of college administrations.
their teachers, their sanitation, where all of these, there are so many people that aren't even
using a fake name anymore because they know that the media will protect them. And they are
absolutely foaming at the mouth with hate, invective, and horror and celebrating this.
And dancing on a grave that hasn't even been dug yet. It is not just the politicians.
there is a serious divide in this country and I don't know how you go forward.
We have more on the way.
It's relief factor.

This is a dark day for our state.
It's a tragic day for our nation.
And I want to be very clear that this is a political assassination.
We are celebrating 250 years of the country.
founding of this great nation, that founding document, the Declaration of Independence, that this
great experiment on which we embarked together 250 years ago, that we are endowed by our
creator with certain unalienable rights. The first one of those is life. I have to say,
Utah Governor Spencer Cox gave some amazing remarks there at the press conference that they
had following this murder, this assassination.
and his tone, I thought, was amazing.
And he just, he really, it was a tone that was very needed.
So big thanks to Utah Governor Spencer Cox.
I want to, there's a couple of, I have some good things, believe it or not.
And I at least want to pepper some of the show with that.
I don't know if what you saw the Yankees did yesterday, New York Yankees.
They didn't just tweet about it.
They held a moment of silence.
They didn't do any kind of throat clearing qualifications.
Like, oh, well, we didn't agree with them on.
They didn't do any of that.
They tweeted out that he had founded an organization and he was murdered.
And as a Cardinals fan, I'm now a Yankees fan for that.
Second hour on the way, stick with us.
Our friends over at all family pharmacy that I relied on so unbelievably heavily when we were out with MRC.
I'm going to tell you something.
I can't even pronounce it, but there are two different types of anti-naugia.
One's emotion sickness and one's anti-nauzia.
And I took both of them because we had two days on OpenC where it was pretty,
rough. I would not have been on that boat had it not been for what I got at all family pharmacy. And they
got it to me in two days. You can get everything in two to four days. You can get things overnight in a
pinch if you need it. They have antibiotics. They have anti-naugia meds. They have your daily
medications. Ladies, they got Latisse for yo eyelashes. They got everything. Ivermectin,
hydroxychloroquine, NAD plus. You name it, they have it. And it's all with the doctor's prescription
that ships all over the country. And like I said, you can get it fast. And one of the other things I
appreciate about what All Family Pharmacy does is that everything that they have, all the inputs
are from are here in the U.S. of A. So you're not getting, you know, any kind of foreign inputs and
medication that's been manufactured using foreign ingredients. So you choose what you need,
not insurance or risk-averse physicians, and you take control of your health. Take your medical
freedom back. Visit AllFamily Pharmacy.com slash Dana. And use CodeDana 10. That's all-family

I want you all to know that America today is on mended knee in prayer for the people whose lives were lost here, for the workers who work here, for the families who mourn.
This nation stands with the good people of New York City and New Jersey and Connecticut.
as we mourn the loss of thousands of our citizens.
I can hear you.
9-11, all these years later,
what a still a dark day in American history
and even darker, still considering the events of yesterday.
Welcome back to the program, Dana Lash, with you.
You can watch us do the radio show at Channel 347, Direc, TV.
The chat is at Rumble.
We're also on X and Facebook.
George W. Bush released a statement yesterday saying, quote, today a young man was murdered in cold blood while expressing his political views. It happened on a college campus where the open exchange of opposing ideas should be sacrosanct. Violence and vitriol must be purged from the public square. Members of other political parties are not our enemies. They are our fellow citizens. May God bless Charlie Kirk and his family and may God guide America towards civility. You know how.
how often and for how long he was called Bush Hitler.
Bush was called Hitler. He was called Nazi.
I used to crash protests and disrupt the television, the shots of television interviews for leftists.
And I was at one and they were burning him an effigy and they gave him a Hitler stash.
Someone made the suggestion, maybe if you'd bother to push back more when they called you Bush Hitler, that we wouldn't be where we are now.
And that gave me pause.
because I feel like the country is at an interesting crossroad, and I understand, believe me, the
responsibility and the weight that comes with it when you're on air and you talk to, you know,
millions of people every single day across the country.
And the reason I say that I just still have such a spirit of anger right now is because
couldn't you argue that we did the nice thing for a long time
since the W. Bush years?
I mean, how did George W. Bush respond?
Some of the biggest criticisms that my side had of him
is that he didn't push back enough when he was disparaged
and not just when he was disparaged,
when his voters were disparaged,
when Republicans were called little Nazis for supporting him.
A lot of people are too young to remember
or maybe they weren't involved enough
to have realized that it was really bad
under George W. Bush too with the left. Really bad.
And in some instances, it's gotten worse
and in some instances it's been the same.
And where did his ignoring of all of it get to anywhere?
Where did that go?
After a ball field of congressional members,
were fired into by a Bernie Sanders campaign volunteer.
And Ray and Paul was about beaten to death in his front yard.
You know, people weren't out there rioting.
They weren't out.
You didn't see Republicans riot yesterday.
You didn't see conservatives go through the streets and burn down houses,
raid foot lockers.
You didn't see any of that.
So I ask all of these years,
it seems like we've been the calm, cool ones.
and it's insane that people have to have, go through everything that they have to go through,
just to speak on a college campus.
And all of any of us, conservatives, every single one of us who are in media, have had to deal with security.
We've had death threats simply because we speak ideas that are out of agreement or alignment with the left.
I have never felt in any ways truly violent towards the leftists for simply them,
expressing a different idea. I don't know. It's because we're more evolved or what? I liked Bush's
statement. But I also wonder, haven't we been always the civil ones? And I think it has worked.
And I think, yes, you get more flies with hunting, but I get all of that. But I think it's easier
for people who have never had to have a security detail to simply walk into a college campus to say that.
I think it's easy for people who've never had anybody fly halfway across the country with a big suitcase enough to fit a dismembered person and pills and try to break into someone's house.
It's easy for them to say that.
I'm not so sure.
Now, to this, it's just, it's the nation's still processing all of this.
And it hasn't been helpful for some of the elected officials, for some of the things that we've heard.
I wanted to talk to you for a moment about the insane amount, the history of left-wing terrorism, of left-wing violence.
It has long been with us.
I mean, going back to the weather underground.
People remember the weather underground, right?
I think they do.
You had the weather underground.
They committed over, gosh, I don't even know how many, over almost three, three, three,
bombings, I think it was. I was looking at my notes here. The number of bombings that they had
committed was quite large. They had a lot. I think it's actually worse than what some have been sharing
on social media. There were like, what, 2,500 bombings. They did five bombings a day during an 18-month
period between 1971 and 72. And over the next decade, they had more. It was a very far-leftist
organization. And in fact, you'll remember the head of weather underground, Bill Ayers launched
Barack Obama's campaign in his living room,
Bernadette Dorn.
So, yeah, there's a big history there.
You had the Black Liberation Army.
They murdered dozens of police officers, assassinated.
You had a bunch of other Hispanic separatists.
You've had, I mean, it goes on and on and on.
I mean, there's a, I think there's like a book on it, like days of rage or something like that.
I mean, we're not even getting into some of this other stuff.
It's just, it's insane.
The history of leftist violence.
You had SDS, students for a Democratic society.
That's where they came out of,
the weatherman came out of that group.
And then you've got to go all the way up to modern era
and go to Occupy Wall Street.
And look at Black Lives Matter.
And look at the Chaz Chop neighborhoods.
Look at the guy who tried to assassinate
a bunch of congressional members.
Steve Scalese barely escaped with his life.
The armed guy who tried to go
and assassinate Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh.
Interestingly, right after Chuck Schumer, I'm going to play this again.
Right after Chuck Schumer, what audio soundbite is this?
Thank you.
After he said this, listen.
You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price.
See, that was after Roby Wade and boy, oh boy, did he really?
And then a guy was caught trying to get to Kavanaugh's house.
I mean, there's been so many.
You've had Antifa.
We've all seen Antifa.
There have been so many far, so many leftist, violent leftist groups.
And then don't forget the two Jewish staffers that were embassy staffers that were killed in front of the capital Jewish museum in D.C.
And then the targets to just regular average everyday conservatives that go out to college campuses and speak or that go on television or that have podcasts.
or whatever. It's really unbelievable. And it's always one way. It's always one way. Someone said,
oh, well, you know, George Floyd, you know, I guess you guys don't care about his kids. He had kids
too. Well, to be fair, George Floyd didn't care about his kids. So you're not comparing those two.
Spare us this what aboutism because there isn't any. It's actually a hell of a lot worse than
the history of leftist violence. And people kind of
realize. Democrats want so badly to go back to 1960s radicalism. They really do. And, of course,
then you've got the violent attacks on ice. Don't forget that. Goodness. The attacks on
ice, the attacks on law enforcement, how police were being attacked. I mean, we could go on
and on. You guys know this because you've been living it for the better part of 10 plus years.
This is who they are. And also,
of their later calls for unity have always been lies. They've always been false. I don't believe them.
I don't believe them when they say they want unity. I don't believe them when they condemn
yesterday's assassination. I don't believe a single one of them. They're all liars. Not a single
one of them will turn to their party and say stop looting footlockers every time someone tries to
commit suicide by cop. Or they turn around and say, stop rioting simply because a conservative
went to your college campus. When is the last time you saw Gavin Newsom say that? Or Elizabeth Warren
say that. Or J.B. Pritzker or any of these Democrat lawmakers. They never have. It's always,
well, Trump should watch his tone. Trump should watch his tone. It's unbelievable. I wanted to play
this. This is audio sound by 33. This is probably one of my favorite video excerpts. So,
Kirk. Listen to this.
I go around universities and have challenging conversations because that's what is so important
to our country is to find our disagreements respectfully because when people stop talking,
that's when violence happens.
I've never seen someone do this.
Well, it's a growing trend because people like me are facing violence, assault, the left.
Yes, the campus, and FIFA.
I've been stormed out of restaurants.
I've been assaulted publicly.
multiple death threats.
Okay. So what's your goal in this?
There's more people that agree with me than some people would actually believe and they
come out of the woodwork when I do stuff like this. We record all of it so that we put on
the internet so people can see these ideas collide. When people stop talking,
that's when you get violence. That's when civil war happens because you start to think
the other side is so evil and they lose their humanity. And that's what it is. It's about
dehumanizing one side to the point where it's easy to commit violence because you've stripped
them of their humanity. I wrote about this in one of my previous books. Grace canceled. Because when you can
reduce your opponent down to nothing but just a mere representation of some sort of vague evil, it is
really easy to commit horrible acts against them. Because you've removed their humanity. Is it really
violating a moral code if you are taking action against something so supremely evil that it can't
even, can't even claim humanity anymore because of the level of immorality? That's their whole MO.
That's their whole point.
He was, Charlie was always a very happy warrior.
He and I debated things like social contracts before.
And I will say even when I thought he was wrong, he was never nasty.
I can't say that.
He was never mean.
He was never nasty.
He was very consistent.
It is so incredible.
I can't underscore how unusual it is to have someone that consistent.
And he's 31 years old.
And to have that level of wisdom at that age.
It is very unusual.
Never nasty.
And all he wanted was open, good faith to be.
We have headlines coming up.
And also on the way, my friend Kurtzlichter.

And now, all of the news you would probably miss.
It's time for Dana's Quick Five.
Some other headlines, a Long Island woman is charged because she shot a senior neighbor in the face with a flare gun.
Was her name, Greta Thunberg?
She was in Suffolk County.
He had to get six stitches.
And it was NBC, New York that reported it.
He's 67 years old.
It was a captured on home security video.
He was walking his dog.
And then 76-year-old Kathleen Schumann came out.
she fired the flare gun it hit him in the face
they arrested her
charged her with assault
and I mean broad daylight
I'm looking at it's broad I'm not gonna play it
but it was in broad daylight like what they apparently

hotel guests were billed $500
for smoking but they say that it never
happened. That seems like a scam. They can tell when you smoke in your room, though. I mean,
it's not like you're going to, you know, cheat them. A dental nurse wins $25,000 after her
co-worker rolled her eyes at her. Apparently, if that's all it takes to sue someone in the
UK, I think I'm going to have to make a quick trip over there and get rich. It's insane. Kurt
Schlicketer, next. Burn a gun is, it's a great option to diversify your weapons array, and it's
great, I think, for college kids that are going to be living on their own. And also, they want to be
able to protect themselves, but they can't, you know, for whatever, they can't own a gun because
that's, you know, you get federal law, but also for people who, you know, are over the age of
21, who may be because of local, municipal, private property restrictions, whatever, they are
disarmed and that makes it kind of dangerous when you consider the crime rate as of late.
This is where burner comes in.
It's a great way to diversify your weapons array.
You have different calibers.
You carry blades.
Burn a gun shoots chemical irritant projectiles that can deter threats from up to 50 feet away.
And when you look at regular stun guns, you only have one or two shots with those with Berna.
With the CL particularly, which is their pistol, that's their smallest version.
The CL stands for a compact launcher.
That has 15 round shot capacity per cartridge.
So you're not losing any of the deterrent power.
You're not losing anything.
The SD is their most popular model.
The CL, which is newer, is the smaller version of that.
These are illegal in all 50 states.
There's no permit required.
There's no background check.
There's no waiting period.
There's no fee other than the price of it, which is, you know, super.

But with that said, this is not the time to focus on that. We are focused on this tragedy.
Speaking of this tragedy, is this a moment for your party to reflect on political violence?
Is it a moment for us to think about the responsibility of our political leaders and their voices?
And what it does to the masses as they get lost in misinformation or disinformation,
that turns in and spills into political violence.
I say both.
Aren't you so happy to hear that the throat clearing qualifiers?
Oh, well, you know, this isn't, and you know, he was this and that and that.
That was Nate Burleson over at CBS, the morning show.
And he was telling Kevin McCarthy, a former Speaker of the House,
that it's Republicans that have to watch their rhetoric.
I saw this.
And the first thing I thought of before I bring on my very good friend,
Kurchlichter, was audio sound by 38 here.
Go ahead and roll this.
You're going to call us racist.
You're going to call us.
Timothy McPhase.
You.
War.
That was my first thought. I got to be honest.
I come not with a spirit of peace right now.
I wanted to bring on my very good friend and very wise gentleman, American Patriot,
the Colonel, Kurt Schlichter.
Sir, you guys know him.
He's a best-selling author.
He has a great piece over at Town Hall right now.
And there's a couple paragraphs that fit.
perfectly. I mean, the whole thing, but a couple that really
that kind of gave me the shiv a little bit. I got to be honest with you. And
especially when you said, you're going to be tempted to hit back to hurt people
who've heard us and that's not the way. And I really,
because everybody right now, I think is just processing this. Everybody in this
movement knew him. Because he started when he was like,
he started with 17 years old. We met him when he was 18. I think we were
some of the earliest supporters to Turning Point. You've known him forever. You've seen it
at CPAC before he was even 20.
So I think that's why it hits so different.
Talk to us a little bit.
How should we feel right now?
What should the response be?
Well, you should be outraged.
You should be angry.
You should be fearful for our country.
You should grieve for his family.
He's got that lovely family.
This is a guy we all knew.
And they blew him apart with a rifle in front of us because he was saying things.
If you're not outraged, there's something wrong with you. You need to be outraged. But that doesn't mean that you let your emotions control your reaction. Retribution, righteous retribution is a requirement. It's the cornerstone of civilization. Mere retaliation. Somebody calls you a name and you punch him. Okay. That's something different. Retribution is something that reinforces and validates.
the existing paradigm of order. Retaliation is just emotion and that's not what we can do.
And, you know, Dana, you know me, I tend to get emotional about things. You have seen me angry.
You see me very aggressive. I'm not a pacifist. I don't think violence is never the answer.
Sometimes it's the right answer. What's the right answer today? Go out and murder somebody else
because they're saying something,
I'm not going to kill anybody because they're saying some.
I'm not going to hurt anybody because they're saying something
because I'm a Christian and I'm an American and I'm not an animal.
But I'm going to use every level of lawful constitutional power at my disposal
or encourage those who represent me in government to do it
to go after these people and to bring them to justice.
Because this may have been just one particular dirt bag.
This may have been a small conspiracy,
but it definitely ties back to a larger theme,
a theme where the left is losing,
and they think they will kill their way into power by intimidating us.
You know, Dana, the one thing I have not seen,
and I'm very grateful for it,
because I talk to people from as based as you and Chris,
who I would have beside me in a gunfight any day
to the, you know, soft George Will like Femboys
over at the National Review.
But today, not a single one has said,
I'm afraid I quit.
I'm going to back down.
I'm not going to speak.
I'm going to be silenced because I don't want to get hurt.
Well, I don't want to get hurt.
But you know what I also don't want to be?
I don't want to be a coward.
I don't want to be a serf.
I'm too damn old to get down on my knees.
I'm going to live and die on my feet.
And that's how the other conservatives are doing.
And it's conservatives you and I mock for being soft.
This was a, pardon the expression, a turning point.
And there are going to be consequences from this.
And I hope they are positive.
They won't all be.
But I hope overall we can get sanity back in this country.
but if sanity is not what they want, okay.
Here we are.
Kurt Schlichter's book, American Apocalypse,
the Second American Civil War.
I mean, the timing is just because it really encapsulates everything,
the tenor, the tension, the tone,
everything that's happening in the country right now.
I wanted to ask you about this because I see people who,
they're not using different names,
like on Blue Sky or TikTok, and they're pediatricians.
and teachers and like people that you would see in your community that are cheering this stuff.
If something like this does not give them pause to go, wow, this has gone way too far, what will?
What do you?
You know, if somebody got killed and you started cheering, would your mom have knocked you in the next week?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, that wouldn't have gone over well at the Schlichter house.
And we're not, yeah, we're not soft.
Yeah, my mom's rule was you don't speak ill of the dead.
That's the rule.
And you'd get snout with you.
You know, and it's a type.
It's gender confused males, feminine males, and unattractive, unloved women who are playing out their own personal psychodramas in public because no one will ever love them because they're unlovable and bad people.
And I get that.
But that's who it is.
I mean, you look at them.
They're all the same.
It's like, you know, they'll be like, oh, there's a pediatrician saying,
I'm going to go, okay, black glasses, nose ring, fat.
And there she is.
And again, I'm not trying to be mean.
I'm being objective.
That's who they are.
These are broken people who hate us and are trying to fill the void that should be filled
with faith family and the flag with, you know, this kind of pagan hate for the heretics.
That's what Charlie was.
He was a heretic.
He was saying that men can't men scrape.
He was saying that no woman has a penis.
He's got to die.
Well, I'm not ready to share my country with people like that.
I'm ready to put them in prison, a lunatic asylum, or a grave, depending on how they want to play it.
A friend of ours said that one of the reasons that, I think, how did they put it?
They're talking about speech and violence and how the left constantly wants to redefine what it is.
He said the point of the left labeling speech as violence was always to justify violence against speech.
That's true. That's absolutely true. And remember, this is all desperate. All this stuff is desperation because they're losing.
And it's happening here. It's happening in Europe. Every time someone gets arrested from a mean tweet, do strong people go arrest people for mean tweets?
Does the winning team take a rifle and kill somebody for asking tough questions?
It's a loser's game.
It's a rearguard action for a failed ideology that has taken God and humanity and everything we know about right and wrong and put it aside for their own personal angrandizement.
It's a bunch of empty, damaged people who are so full of hate, they'll do anything.
they can to keep that little bit of power that they have.
And I'm not going to tolerate it anymore.
None of us are going to tolerate anymore.
We have the power.
We have the authority.
And we have the side of right.
And they're going to pay.
Righteous retribution is a moral obligation.
I'm not talking about revenge.
I'm not talking about payback.
I'm not talking about retaliation.
Though in some contexts, I'm all for that.
You know, you start talking bad about my mom.
in a bar, we're going to have words.
Right.
But this is something different.
This is unacceptable, Dana, meaning we can't accept it.
And I don't think we will.
Not again.
Talking with our friend Kurt Schlichter, if you're joining us,
columnist at Town Hall, bestselling author as well.
So where do we go from here?
I know where conservatism goes from here.
And I know that I think, I said yesterday,
I feel like much in the same way after Andrew
past, it really, his death reshaped digital media and reshaped consumption of media and I think
accelerated it beyond what he probably could have witnessed within the next 20 years of his life
had he continued living. How do you foresee this in terms of Charlie Kirk's contribution and then
as a country, where do we go? Well, look at look back to Andrew. Just today, you, you've got
this huge show. Me, I'm writing best-selling books. Our friend Larry O'Connor. He's the morning
guy in Washington, D.C. Drive Time. The senators all listen to him. There's a little guy named
Ben Shapiro out there. Anybody remember him? And that's just the start. That's just some of the
people who get the spotlight. But there are thousands of people energized by Andrew. There are
millions who are going to be energized by Charlie Kirk, whether they heard his podcasts, or
They saw him at a campus or went to one of his conventions.
Or maybe they saw these horrible videos and being murdered and said,
well, I want to know what the guy said that was so important.
They had to kill him to shut him up.
Now, we're going to have a turning point USA president down the road.
Somebody who started with it, somebody who was part of it,
and somebody who worked his way up through American politics to the White House.
We're going to have that.
Charlie Kirk's legacy, well, they didn't kill it.
They may have killed him.
Thankfully, he's a man of faith, so we know he's in a better place.
But they think they could snuff it out.
They think they could shut us up.
They think they could intimidate us.
These second-rate losers that we're going to live on our knees for them,
that we're going to be served because they're me that we're going to give up our guns
and let them have at us.
No. No, we're going to, it's our country. We built it. We feed it. We fuel it. And we defend it. It's ours. We're keeping it. And if you want to take it from us, come heavy. That's come heavy. If you're going to do it, Kurt Schlichter, God love you, my friend. I mean, these are, in times like this, one of my first things is, all right, what's Kurt saying? I got to go and find out what the colonel says. Look, you say that, but you always.
Kurt, Kurt is every inch, you know, Colonel, every inch a man who's been in some stuff and has kept his cool and has kept the calm and it's kept the reason.
And never more, my friend, is that more appreciated now?
Well, that's very nice.
I wish we could have one of our typical fun, laugh-filled ones, but we will.
We will.
It'll come.
And you know what, Dana?
I was thinking if And Redden passed on from natural causes, he would.
was important enough that they'd have tried to hurt him too.
Yes.
What a great guy and what a great guy Charlie Kirk is.
Amen to that.
Amen to that.
Kurt Schlichter, you can find him on X, his book, American Apocalypse, the second American Civil
War.
And he's got a ton of great titles.
You should all go get all of them because he's a great writer.
And you and your wife also have a book out.
Your lovely wife, please give her our best as well.
These are trying times and it's good that we have real patriots like you about there with
us, Kurt.
God bless you.
God bless you. Thank you, Dana. See you soon.
Yes, sir. We'll see you soon.
We have more to come, folks. As we wrap up this second hour, we got Florida man on the way.
And then later, David Beaux-El from Media Research Center, the media.
We've got to talk a little bit about this as well.
So stick with us on that as we move our partners that help make the program possible.

It's his life mission to make bad decisions.
It's time for Florida man.
Well, this is about dogs.
A Florida woman bit a pit bull to save her dog during an attack in Orlando.
She's 70.
Good girl.
70 years old.
There's that Shirley Passamanick said she was leaving the store the other day.
A pit bull bolted towards her 14-year-old dog Sparky, latched onto him.
She said we ended up on the ground.
She weighs 90 pounds.
She used her cane in her hands and then she bit the pit bull on the back of its neck.
And apparently it worked for a guy to grab the pit bull and pull it away and then walk off with the dog on a leash.
so she says that her dog survived the attack but is still shaking.
Oh my gosh.
See, this is, I'm just saying.
This is why you go out.
You carry a judge.
Just saying.
Little Taurus.
Just saying.
Oh, my goodness.
So this, this is a weird headline.
Do another one here.
This is weird.
This has to do with a felon who was found homeless with a bunch of baby C turtles and also his half-dress girlfriend.
I don't know.
I don't write these stories.
This is literally, this stuff just actually happens.
Miami-Dade.
This happened in Miami,
happened in actually Miami Beach, Florida,
a 44-year-old convicted felon.
He's been in and out of prison for the past, like, 10 years.
He's got tons of charges because of baby sea turtles.
So the last time he was in jail
was because he had tons of cocaine
and he was going to distribute.
Then he got released.
Then he's back in prison now
because he attacked a woman
that he had been in an on and off relationship with.
And while, and then he hit her, injured her,
and then he got busted when police arrived,
also in possession of a ton of baby sea turtles.
Out of all the random things,
this is like playing like mad libs with these Florida man stories.
Like, oh, baby sea turtles.
Why not?
Anyway, he's going to court.
He's going to be arraigned this week.
So you can't make this stuff up.
That's very interesting.
Let's see here.
We also have a Cape Coral man who was accused of stealing $40,000 about 85 to 90 pairs of Nike Jordans.
I mean.
Are they?
Yeah, that's a great question.
Are they?
So he, yeah, it took a lot.
He made multiple trips through a rear door.
He used bolt cutters to force entry into this storage unit of the store.
He's in custody in Lee County Jail.
Made multiple trips.
He looks like he does not care in his Lee County Sheriff's Office mugshot.
And apparently, I guess,
he had some help. There was a female that, there were three suspects in total. But he was
identified. They also took two signed sports jerseys, a red Nike Jordan golf bag with
tailor-made clubs. It's $500. And then all of the Nike Jordan sneakers valued at $40,000.
I cannot even believe that like that many. That's insane. Stick with us. Third hour on the way.

I just don't even know why there aren't uprisings of all of the country, and maybe there will be.
People need to start taking to the streets.
This is a dictator.
You know, there needs to be unrest in the streets
for as long as there is unrest in our lives.
Enemies of the state.
Show me where it says that protests are supposed to be polite and peaceful.
Do something about your dad's immigration practices, you feckless.
They go low.
How do you resist the temptation to run up and bring her neck?
Biggest terror threat in this country is white men,
most of them radicalized up to the right.
I thought he should have punished him in the face.
Even if you lost, he insulted your wife.
He came down the escalator and called Mexicans, rapists, and murders.
He said, well, what do you think I should have done?
So I think you should have punished him in the face and then gotten out of the race.
You would have been a hero.
I'd like to punch him in the face.
I said, if we're in high school, I'd take you behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.
Punch some people in the face!
When is the last time an actor assassinated a president?
They're still going to have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump,
and that's a fact.
Look, as his character is seen.
is stabbed to death.
Where is John Wilkes Booth when you need him?
I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.
A Missouri State Senator is under investigation by the Secret Service
after saying she hopes President Trump is assassinated.
I will go and take Trump out tonight.
And if you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant,
In a department at a police station, you get out and you create a crowd.
And you push back on them anymore, anywhere.
And sadly, the domestic enemies to our voting system and are honoring our Constitution
are right at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
They're not going to stop before election day in November and they're not going to stop after election day.
And that should be everyone should take note of that on both levels.
that this isn't they're not going to let up and they should not.
If you think we're right now, you ain't saying nothing yet.
This is where we are in society.
Welcome back to the program.
Dana Lash with you, top of this third hour on a very hard broadcast day.
One of the last things that Charlie Kirk had tweeted about was assassination culture.
He shared this bombshell study, which revealed that assassination culture was spreading on the left under President Trump.
Trump, study data links rising support to online extremism and left-wing radicalization,
which is something that anybody who spent any time in politics has seen.
I mean, in California, they had people that wanted to name ballot measures after Luigi
Mangione.
See, he was the overture.
You are able in that story to dehumanize the health insurance executive.
And if you dehumanize someone, then it makes the evil that you are about to be.
perpetrate upon them easier to justify. And that's what this is, that's what this is about.
You know, I had shared a quote from a friend where the point of the left labeling speech is violence
was always to justify violence against speech. That's why you have this hyperbolic comparisons.
George Conway, just three hours ago, was comparing Charlie Kirk to this Nazi named horse vessel.
that he compares a father and a husband who merely had different policy decisions to an actual Nazi.
This is what I'm talking about.
If you're comparing someone with a different view from you on policy to an actual Nazi, the problem is you.
This hyperbolic garbage just makes people like George Conway look mentally incompetent and certifies that they're part of the problem.
But that's the whole point of it.
And that's been this goal this entire time,
dehumanize, dehumanize, dehumanize, dehumanize.
If you can render someone irrelevant
because you think that their position is so evil,
it's just evil.
This is something that's been spreading for a while.
Like with the Luigi and me and Gion thing,
it's not going to just stop with, oh, an insurance executive guy,
there were people out there who thought,
oh, the guy got what he deserved.
He works in health insurance.
people were celebrating Luigi Mangione.
He's getting all kinds of letters from women all across the country.
But it doesn't stop with a health insurance executive.
What if you got a politician that doesn't vote a certain way on taxes?
Evil.
I mean, we've already seen it.
Police, evil.
You drive a Tesla.
I mean, can we talk about that for a minute?
Let's just talk about some of this stuff that we've seen adding up all of these years.
You had two separate attempts on Trump's life in 24.
You had anti-Semitic rallies on college campuses in 24 and 25 all over the country.
Ivy League campuses.
And then you had the two murdered Israeli embassy staffers that were killed in D.C.
And then you had a guy, an Egyptian man, who was not even legally in the United States,
who attacked Jewish people with a flamethrower and Molotov.
cocktails. And then let's not forget everything that we went through. When was this cane? Fall,
last fall when all of the wave of violence started against Tesla owners? People were keen cars.
They were burning them. They were attacking the cars, attacking the people that drove the cars.
Why? Because Elon Musk is a Nazi. And if we can dehumanize Elon Musk because he differs from us on
policy to being that of a Nazi, then we can justify the violence against him. And they had a lot of
support on the left. Don't tell me that it was just a few people. It wasn't. It was thousands of people.
There have been, they've had a lot of support, in fact. There were a couple of polls out.
One was a daily signal poll. And it said, this was from March 31st of this year,
Tesla owners are not connected to Dojo or Musk, are acceptable victims, according to 31% of Democrats.
This was from Tyler O'Neill who wrote that a surprising number of Americans approved the rash of violence against Tesla's amid Elon Musk's work helping President Trump with the Department of Government efficiency.
And it got into the history of all of this.
There was research conducted on behalf of another institute to discover Americans' opinions on the attacks.
And it was kind of amazing.
It was split by party line, what was justified and what wasn't.
people who lived in high population density areas, 53% of those surveyed, proved most likely to say the attacks were justified, followed by self-described atheists and respondents who say they think about politics every day or nearly every day.
Younger respondents between the ages of 18 to 34 also proved more likely to call them justified, as did supporters of Bernie Sanders policies, 32% and Democrats 31%.
This is unbelievable where this has grown. And this has been a long time.
coming. This
assassination culture, and again,
one of the last things that Charlie Kirk
had tweeted about, people
believing that violence
is an acceptable form of
dissent. You saw it with BLM riots.
People were killed in those
riots.
There was an apartment building
in South Carolina
where BLM rioters
set fire to an apartment building and there were three children
inside. We played the audio of
the fire chief who was
in tears and near hysterical when he was talking about it.
They burned it, they set it on fire and they were burning it down while their children were
inside and then they blocked EMS.
Thankfully they were able to get them out in spite of the efforts of the rioters.
It is a scary time.
And I see less and less condemnation of it from the left.
And that's the problem.
people have got to stop the hyperbole.
It's like me saying, well, everyone who disagrees with me is sexist.
Well, in no way is that true.
Just like if Charlie Kirk thinks differently from you, he's not a Nazi.
Trump isn't a Nazi.
He's not a fascist for crying out loud.
Words have meanings.
Charlie Kirk's body and his casket are going to be flown home back to Arizona aboard Air Force 2.
This was confirmed earlier.
J.D. Vance and his wife went to Utah to meet with a family, and they met with his widow and two children.
FBI has offered a $100,000 reward leading to the arrest of the killer.
They've released images of the assassin, and they say that they have other video of the assassin, that they have not yet released.
That is apparently very high quality and detailed.
They're going to get this guy.
they're going to get this guy
and
mm
mm
it's all I'm going to say right now
so
where does this lead us
I mean I have tons of audio here
our staff did an amazing job getting all of this together
you know where
I mean you
it's the way that it's being politicized
let me play this this is audio sound bite
20
this is
AOC. Listen.
So are we going to do something about this or not?
We have a political assassination that happened at the same time as a school shooting
where children are dying.
On the same day, a week after a shooting at a Catholic school,
where children were gunned down while praying.
A trans killer.
Are we going to do something or are we going to argue over rhetoric?
That is my question about this.
Rhetoric is the whole point.
It is the whole point.
It is the whole point.
What do you mean argue over rhetoric?
A trans killer, someone that is part of an ideology that she worships,
shot into a church and killed children.
The casings found, as confirmed by the Wall Street Journal,
that were at the site of the assassination yesterday,
had pro-trans messages carved into them.
yes, it is about the rhetoric, specifically your rhetoric that is leading to this.
All of the people that are going, well, maybe the right should tone it down might want to take a little
personal inventory here. And if you think that the people being shot at by your side are going to
disarm, you can go straight to hell. That is not going to happen. It is a
gun violence. It is radical leftist violence. And it is perfectly acceptable to say that because it's
true. Let's look at all of these previous mass casualty incidents. Do you know the recent handful of
them have one thing in common? A trans murderer. I've written numerous books on this. There's a common
denominator in the previous mass casualty killers. The people who have been out there,
dehumanizing their fellow Americans, calling them all of these names,
likening them to the horrors of Nazism.
You people are the problem.
You are a thousand percent culpable in this.
The right doesn't do that.
I saw this headline today.
Comedy Central very quietly pulled the South Park episode that made fun of Charlie
Kirk because you're cowards.
I think that Charlie Kirk would have found it funnier if they left it up.
There's one thing that he was not for, and it was censorship.
I think it's cowardly that they pulled it.
There have been some people who said, we need to pull all these videos of this stuff.
I disagree with that, too.
I think it's part of American history, and it has to stay up.
People can use their own discretion.
And I tell you this is somebody who has given speeches and has been around the country.
You know where the line is when some of the,
discussion gets heated. Do they? Because I don't think so. And you're never going to have any
kind of serious reconciliation with a radical ideology that refuses to assess its role in this.
So maybe those are the people that are excluded.
And now all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five.
So apparently an Arizona inmate filed fake documents for years before officials say that
used them to get out of prison. He took
20 years off of his sentence
by filing
false paperwork.
That's actually pretty clever, I got to say.
David Kramer, he
filed all kinds of fraudulent documents for years,
and then they blamed a forged court order for his
accidental release in Maricopa County.
So, yeah, he took
two decades off of his
sentencing. That's pretty amazing.
But then, of course, you know, they went
and got him, so pretty wild.
Let's see, this.
want to do that one. That one's gross. We'll have to save it.
Austrians are obsessed
with the adventures of this moose that's
been running around the country. Sightings of
the animal near Vienna have been
apparently it's like a big thing to be able to get a photo.
It's a moose. You know they're very aggressive.
Don't get near them and try to pet them.
I mean, I shouldn't have to tell Austrians that.
They should know. David Beaux-El
joins us next.

Two law enforcement sources confirmed to ABC News, Kira, that Charlie Kirk indeed was shot as he was speaking at an outdoor event at Utah Valley University.
You're right, his presence there at the university had divided the campus, according to an article in the school paper,
where there were people on both sides debating whether he should even be allowed to bring his message, often loyal to the school.
the agenda of President Trump to campus, but he was speaking at this outdoor event in a courtyard.
We've seen some video of that event. A shot rings out. The entire crowd goes scattering.
I am amazed at the qualifications they have to throw out there before merely announcing that
someone was assassinated. And that's exactly what had happened. This was ABC News via news
Busters over at MRC and it, Aaron Katterski, who was saying, oh, his presence there talking
about Charlie Kirk's had divided the campus.
What does that have to do?
Almost as if they were sort of setting the stage to justify why yesterday happened.
Joining me on this, our good friend David Bozell over at Media Research Center where you can also
see newsbusters.org.
This is David.
I just, you know, I was thinking about this because I had.
had a conversation with your dad last week because everybody knows we did the MRC event,
which was amazing. And your dad was saying, talking about, Brent Beaux-O, was talking about
some of the people, the younger conservatives that he met that had made an impression on him.
And he was talking about some that hadn't, but then he brought up Charlie Kirk and was saying
that Charlie was so naturally inquisitive. And he just gave like a very, you know, warm and genuine,
insight into kind of how Kirk approached, how he approached everything with such zeal and such
genuine curiousness. And then here a week later, and we have this news. I just, I wanted to get
your thoughts on this. Well, look, Charlie's talent stack was out of sight out of this world. I was
mentioning last night on another network. Those of us that have been in the conservative movement,
I've been in it, you know, nearly since basically in the womb, given my father, but I've been in it for a long time.
You've been in this business for a long time.
I can confidently say that all of us in the conservative ecosystem at one time or another wished we could do what we do as well as Charlie did what he did.
He certainly was the best out of us at creating an activist organization, the preeminent activist organization.
the conservative movement.
He was, you know, one of if not the best public speakers that we had in our ranks.
He combined all of that and started a podcast and then started and then started his family
and had this prolific career.
He was the Rush Limbaugh of our time in that respect.
I mean, there's always in the different mediums, you know, there's one of one and then
there's everyone else.
I mean, Rush was one of one.
Charlie and the activist organizations,
of all the activist organizations,
Charlie was one of one.
And he's going to be sorely missed.
He's not going to be replaced by one particular individual.
We're all going to have to rally together
and hopefully combine all of our forces
and try to accomplish as much as he has accomplished
and hopefully lead as many young people as he did as well.
So he's just, his contributions are going to be
sorely, sorely missed. And my condolences to his family, to his girls, I hope they find peace
in the coming weeks and years ahead. I was talking to my staff really today. The best ability
is availability. And unfortunately, for his girls, he's not going to be available for them.
And it's just such a tragedy. As it relates to who gets the blame, obviously the investigation
is ongoing.
But when you look at the family research council attack,
a lot of people have sort of glossed over that one.
You're right.
We forget about the Family Research Council attack.
When we think of the attempted assassination of President Trump,
the incentive assassination of Steve Scalese,
the assault on Rand Paul, the assault on Lee Zeldon,
the almost near assault on Brett Kavanaugh.
There was a man arrested in front of his house with a loaded gun.
Time after time after time.
It's been the political right that has been either assaulted or an attempted assassination or now killed.
And I just think after 30, 40 years of being demonized as just these wretched human beings like we have been by the political left and oftentimes by the liberal media, it's caught up with them.
And then since Donald Trump came down to escalator, it's obviously gotten worse.
And 30% of the country still believes the media, the legacy media, I call them the upper class media, 30% of the country still believes these guys.
And every single night they're calling as Hitler.
So this is just the logical manifestation of all of that.
Yeah, you mentioned the media with us.
One of the last things that Charlie had tweeted about was assassination culture.
And this study that came out that was showcasing how people were justifying violence towards speech.
There was a friend that had said, well, the left wants to say that speech is violent.
so they can justify violence towards speech.
This, I remember it being really bad under George W. Bush,
but I feel like this has accelerated lightning speed in the past 12 years.
Yeah, I mean, we've all known someone close to us in our personal lives
that have told us to F off for our beliefs, for our votes in the last two or three election cycles,
just for voting for a guy.
just for subscribing to a viewpoint, sometimes simply for proclaiming your faith and attending church and attending Mass.
The only real, yeah, I think you've been asked probably the same thing.
You know, what's our response?
I think the only real, the only Christian American response, and I'm going to take my MRC hat off for a second.
The only Christian-American response is to crush them at polls, crush them in election after election after election, and do not let up.
And I think that's the proper.
We need to stand up and do everything we can at every single level from, you know, when going to come, not just 2028 when Donald Trump leaves office, but 2026 in the mid-shund.
and every state and local and school board election in between,
crush the Democratic Party at the ballot box
and leave no quarter where electoral returns are concerned.
Leave no quarter.
I think that's really the only Christian-American response at this point.
Because a lot of people are saying, Dan,
the Democratic Party has to implode in order for this to go away.
maybe that's true, maybe that's not, but they're not going to implode on their own.
They're going to have to be defeated at the ballot box.
That's a good point. That's a good way to put it.
David Beowsell's joining us now for those who are just tuning in with Media Research Center,
MRC, newsbusters.org as well.
I was looking, you know, because I always look at Newsbusters when I'm doing my stuff,
and a lot of video up there have a lot of media malpractice.
And I keep thinking, David, I'm like, well, if they don't see how off-based they are with this story
and this reaction.
If this doesn't do it,
I don't know that anything ever will.
Yeah, 95%,
about of the coverage last night
was measured.
There were a number of anchors
on the liberal networks
that were offering their condolences
and essentially Charlie Kirk's political enemies.
And I'd say 95% of them were good.
Now, fast forward to this morning, CBS and Nate Burleson, challenging Kevin McCarthy, this has gone viral, challenging the former Speaker of the House, wondering if when his Republican Party is going to change their rhetoric, our Republican Party's rhetoric, as if the Republican Party's rhetoric was responsible for this.
Matthew Dow, he got fired yesterday from MSNBC.
I felt kind of bad for that because he actually tried to apologize.
And MSNBC tried to apologize also on his behalf.
And I think Charlie, if he were alive, would have accepted that apology
and his good Christian that he is.
But MSNBC fired him nonetheless because his instincts were way off.
Charlie Kirk is fighting for his life, and Matthew Dowd decides to exclaim that maybe,
perhaps the reason that Charlie Kirk had a bullet go through his neck
was because Charlie Kirk's supporter waved a gun and it accidentally went off.
Catherine Turr, same network, MSNBC.
To openly speculate that, well, is President Trump going to use this as a political weapon?
It's just your instincts are in the gutter at that point.
And these networks need to be overhauled completely.
And MSNBC is trying, you know, with this MSN now silliness.
But you can't change your stripes overnight.
And if you're on the anchor desk, and you've probably been a part of this, Dana,
if you're on the anchor desk and you have breaking news coming in of this magnitude,
of this seriousness, your really only job is to sit there and take the breaking news in your ear.
Okay?
And have the producer read it off to you and then kick it to someone maybe in the field who may know more than you do.
That's it.
Right? Charlie Kirk's fighting for his life and Catherine Turr has the temerity to speculate
whether or not Donald Trump is going to use this as a political weapon. So for that reason,
I just, and for many others, but for that reason alone, MSNBC should consider whether or not
they want her on their, on their anchor chairs going forward.
I agree with you. It was all the cuts that I've seen of her speculation. Just, I mean,
speechless. My job is to speak and I was speechless at watching.
that. Last question for you. Is this going to expedite? I think maybe the demise of, in terms of,
I think we're always going to have for a long time, the legacy era, as you were saying,
the upper class media. But I don't see how their influence continues to rank within the minds of
anybody else except their most, you know, the people that are on TikTok are blue sky that are
celebrating. I think to them, those are the only people that are going to take them seriously or
seriously or think that they have any influence anymore. How does that weigh in with the rest of America,
though? I mean, is this it? Is this the final nail? Yeah, I've been asked a lot in the last 24 hours
if the media are going to change as a result of this. My answer has been no. Because of, you know,
some of the incidents that I just described from Steve Scalise to Donald Trump, they didn't change
that. Now, is a murder going to change them?
Maybe, but I doubt, I doubt it.
Look, the political left has declared a jihad against the right wing.
I have no other way of putting it.
They would rather see us in the grave than debate us openly in public.
But the right needs to understand that this is no time at all to cower.
This is no time at all to be silenced.
This is no time at all to retreat.
We must crush them at the ballot box.
And maybe just maybe the liberal media would get the message then.
Now these guys are still extraordinarily powerful.
They're intertwined with some of the most prolific aggregating search engines in the country,
Yahoo, Google, Apple, all these guys, NBC, New York Times, Washington Post, ABC, all these guys
are all ingrained into these massive ecosystems.
So they're going to be on our devices.
They may not be on your televisions because you're not watching them.
But they're going to be able to set the narrative because they're reaching millions of people
through those means.
But the believability has to go down.
We cannot have 30% of the country believe these guys anymore.
That's got to get down into the teens or less.
Got to.
They need to be marginalized.
And this will probably expedite that.
Again, to be fair, though, 95% of them have been good as relates to this.
They've treated Charlie's death with with respect.
But we're counting down the clock.
It's just going to take one of them to call us Hitler or fascists again,
and then it'll be Katie bore the door all over again.
And so that could happen anytime.
David Bozell, I love talking with you.
I'm so sorry that it had to be with us, this kind of horrific.
A condolences to you, Dane.
I know he's a good friend of everybody's.
Everybody knew him.
Everybody knew him.
There's not a single person in this movement that did not know him.
You can't really say that about a lot of people.
That's pretty extraordinary.
We really appreciate everything that you and MRC do and NewsBusters.
God bless you guys.
We're so grateful.
Thank you.
Good to see you, my friend.

I think this is one of the best hymns ever.
It is well with my soul.
It is such an extraordinary song.
the story behind it is amazing because the guy who wrote it, Horatio Spafford, he lost his wife and his four daughters in a shipwreck in 1873.
And even though he was just overwhelmed with sorrow, he wrote this hymn.
He wrote this hymn. It is well with my soul.
unbelievable
amazing
I want to leave you on
something positive
because this has been probably
probably one of the hardest broadcasts that I've done
and especially
made hard because when you watch
a guy literally grow up
makes it really hard
but two things
so shines a good deed
in a weary world
the Yankees
can't believe I'm saying this lifelong Cardinals fan
They said, before tonight's game, they tweeted this out.
Before tonight's game, we held a moment of silence in memoriam of Charlie Kirk.
Kirk founded the youth activist group Turning Point USA and had become a fixture on college campuses.
Charlie Kirk, a husband and father of two children, was 31 years old.
Thank you, New York Yankees.
This is how it's done.
This is the way forward.
And then you had steak and shake.
steak and shake tweeted out something about charlie kirk and i thought it was amazing because they i had it up
here they had a post a memoriam for him and it was no qualifications they just posted it they said
we're deeply saddened by the passing of charlie kirk he was a devoted husband and father a powerful
voice for freedom and our courageous patriot his commitment to elevating public discourse and championing free speech and
debate inspired millions around the world. He was a great American who will be profoundly missed.
Our hearts are with his family and his loved ones. That's steak and shake. God love them.
The way forward. That's it. So shines good deeds in a weary world. Be the good deeds.
And don't just be Charlie, fight like Charlie with grace and fact. God bless.
