Starting point is 00:00:00 So welcome to the program. Happy Friday. My God, it's been a long week. Dana Lash here with you, we are at the top of this first hour. We have a number of things to get into because we've got the latest with, gosh, he's traveling all over. We've got cabinet confirmations. I'm looking at some of this now. SecDF is having a little bit of issue. They're having a little bit of issue with the Secretary of Defense. Ratcliffe has been confirmed as the next CIA director. And Hegseth has already lost the support of both Lisa Murkowski, and I believe Susan Collins. And so that's not a surprise because they're, I mean, it's Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski.
Starting point is 00:00:45 They're major rhinos. And they're just, they're not, they're giving him problems. They don't, I don't know who they think they have in mind beyond Pete Hegseth, but we're going to watch all of this and see because we got to get all of these cabinet. positions confirmed. We've got to get them confirmed. So that's some of the latest. Now, there is, there's a Senate bill, Democrats are, Democrats are wanting to work on the Senate bill as it pertains to the border. We're also going to get into some of, I've got two stories, the journalist malpractice as it pertains, interestingly, to Hunter Biden, because you guys remember when they were surprising stories and they were suspending people's accounts and all this
Starting point is 00:01:32 stuff. So somebody at Politico reported that, yeah, they were killing stories about Hunter Biden, about the laptop right and left. We're going to talk about that. We're also going to get into all of the DEI stuff. We're going to discuss that. We're going to, maybe we'll have some movement with the cabinet today. I was reading that some of their confirmations might come rather late. like super late in the evening. So Murkowski, nope, she's out Collins, nope. They're both voting no. And it is, man, they don't have that much to lose in the Senate.
Starting point is 00:02:12 They're going to have to have some Democrats. What about Mitch? Is Mitch going to, well, how's Mitch voting? Mitch McConnell will usually do status quo. He'll usually go with status quo. So even if it's Murkowski and Collins that are not for Heggseth, they'll, they'll typically, Mitch McConnell will go to status quo because I think Trump has made it pretty clear. So a lot of stuff to discuss, but first and foremost, I'm going to start with this.
Starting point is 00:02:38 And then we got all of the lawsuits about some of the executive orders. So one of the big things here, and I'm pulling this up, he's traveling, he's in North Carolina. He just actually touched down a little bit ago, and he was meeting some of the officials there, and then meeting with the people there in North Carolina as well. He and the First Lady have traveled to go and view the damage and the destruction still in that area. And it's assonating. He was pointing out just the problems with FEMA and how slow FEMA moved and that they probably would have been able to go a lot quicker had it not been, the state anyway,
Starting point is 00:03:18 had it not been for FEMA, just not being there and not providing and not pulling forth those resources. So that's going to be an interesting conversation. I also read too that Gavin Newsom is trying to throw a wrench in the visit when they go to Los Angeles. Whether or not that happens, we shall see. I can't imagine that he would, I can't imagine that he would just miss an opportunity to try to, because he looks at this as like a chance to maybe trying to, trying to one up Trump or show greater statesmanship than Trump shows. We'll see. But the word on the ground was that, he was considering just not even showing up and meeting the president when he came to California to survey the storm damage, which is assonine. I mean, he's the governor of the state. That's a dumb
Starting point is 00:04:06 move. But we'll see. I mean, it's Gavin Newsom. I mean, what are you going to do? So a lot of moving parts here, and we're going to follow all of that, because you know he's probably going to speak to the press again when he reboards Air Force One and then heads to L.A. where, you know, once he de planes, he'll talk to the press again. So a lot, there's a lot to follow. Now in the meantime, speaking of LA and some of these wildfires and the insanity when you realize so much of this could have been prevented, another story coming out that there was a, so in the palisades, there's a reality, it's, I think this is that Spencer Pratt, yeah, Heidi Montague and Spencer Pratt, they're suing Los Angeles because of the wildfires. So,
Starting point is 00:04:52 So they filed suit, and they said they were going to file suit, like the moment that this happened. There were two different wildfires that were getting ready to cross in their particular area. And they're suing because obviously you had empty hydrants, you had an empty reservoir, all of this. And so they've launched the first, they filed the first lawsuit. They called the fire, quote, an inescapable and unavoidable consequence of the water system that's operated by the city and the water utility. So this is going to be one of the first suits filed. This is not going to be the last, and it's going to get worse, particularly when you have insurance that's going to start denying folks. That's going to be another thing that we're going to see.
Starting point is 00:05:32 So this was the first suit that was filed, and you have Trump going to be going to the state. I don't know who always he's meeting with there, but he's flying in going to survey the damage. And I'm sure that there's going to, he's going to have some choice words. Although I felt like he was very magnanimous when he was in North Carolina talking about Roy Cooper. And he was saying that it was mostly FEMA's fault. But I don't know. I just feel like if you're the governor and you already know that there are issues with FEMA, particularly from past storms, maybe it's something that you would perhaps get a handle on, just thinking, just thinking out loud, just talking out loud.
Starting point is 00:06:13 Just might be. So a lot of stuff, a lot of stuff to hit today. And we'll be watching all of that. We'll bring you. We'll bring you all of that as it happens. So you have to forgive my voice. It's not because I'm losing it. It's just dry.
Starting point is 00:06:29 It's super dry in Vegas. So we're going to try to get through it. But anyway, so we got all of this and a lot more. In the meantime, what's a good audio? Because we have a lot of really good audio cuts for you. And I want to make sure I didn't get to everything yesterday. And there's so much happening. I was talking to somebody that it's like drinking out of a fire hose.
Starting point is 00:06:48 I'm like, there's so much to go over and manage. Like, for instance, audio sound bite three. Trump signed an order yesterday to do, this is on top of everything else, to classify all of the, the files related to the assassination of JFK, RFK, and MLK. Listen. Lastly, sir, we have an executive order ordering the declassification of files relating to the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy. Senator Robert F. Kennedy and the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. That's a big one, huh? A lot of people are waiting for this for a long for years.
Starting point is 00:07:31 So what's the chance that most of it's going to be redacted? So like, are we going to get a white piece of paper and it's just going to have black bars all over it all the way down? Is that I'm curious, I mean, I would, I mean, this is stuff I think that, you know, why can't we know this? I read the story last night that Nepo baby, Jack Schlossberg. So John F. Kennedy's daughter, Caroline Kennedy, she married, had two kids, one of her sons, or her son, Jack Schlausberg. He's, you know, of course, they're Kennedy, so they think that they have some kind of like birthright to elected office, etc.
Starting point is 00:08:14 And he had said, it basically was like blasting Trump for releasing these records. That's not for him. Look, I know that they all are desperate to write on the coattails of their dead granddaddy and try to buy some influence from that. But we're the taxpayer, and we don't give a rat's ass what you say about releasing these classified documents. My taxes mean you get to STFU. Me paying my taxes means you can go. Well, I could quote Tropic Thunder, Les Grossman, when he was talking to Flaming Dragon.
Starting point is 00:08:48 That whole monologue is my response. Because this is our tax dollars, our government, we have a right to know. We have an absolute right to. I don't think that's bad. I mean, that you guys want to, they want to pretend to be the camelot here. Well, guess what? We have taxpayers here. It's a republic, so you don't necessarily get to call those shots.
Starting point is 00:09:08 Plus, if your government is doing something shady, wouldn't you want to know? I want to know if my government worked a president. I would like to know that. Just seems like that. So I read this piece yesterday. He was all, you know, blasting POTUS for release. seeing this this information as it pertain to his grandfather. And I just think that whole thing is still weird. I mean, they, what have any of them accomplished beyond trying to do advocacy
Starting point is 00:09:33 or some sort of like fake charity off of the name that their great-grandfather, grandfather, and then the uncle built? I don't know. I don't think it's extended down whatever charisma they had. I don't think it's extended down to the other members of the family. But I just, I also think that because RFK Jr. is in such a, an elevated position now that they feel as though they have to be doubly loud and doubly annoying to hold their stake in that family legacy if that makes sense. I mean, I'm just, it's just a weird thing. They're weird. We have a lot more on the way because we've got a ton of guests for you today. Gun owners of America, Eric Pratt's going to be joining us. We're going to get into a whole bunch of
Starting point is 00:10:14 other stuff. We got an SSF. We got a lot. So, and all of the latest, we'll bring you any information as it pertains to Potus's travels, cabinet, all of that. that good stuff and more. And of course we're broadcasting here live from Shot Show and we're in Las Vegas. Now, our partners over at ReadyWise. ReadyWise is always ready even if you're not. And one of the things that I love most about ReadyWise
Starting point is 00:10:37 is that you know where your food's coming from, first and foremost, U.S. ingredients. It's also chain of command. You know the chain of command. US ingredients, US plants sent out from that plant right to you. And that's what, I mean, and these are great, delicious meals because most, I think honestly, most survival prep food is kind of dry, kind of bland, but not ReadyWise.

Now the Hollywood liberals are obsessed about looting.
Starting point is 00:11:30 Some of the Hollywood elites have threatened to shoot people who loot their property. Where were they during the George Floyd riots? Celine Dion didn't mind looting during Hurricane Katrina because it wasn't her stuff. Check out the Watchdog on Wall Street podcast on Apple, Spotify, wherever you get your podcast. And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five. So more people are only paying the minimum payment as their credit card balances are rising. This is something that's going to be an ongoing problem until the economy snaps back.
Starting point is 00:12:05 Revolving credit card balances have hit $645 billion. It represents 71% of the total card balances per data. And this is, but third quarter now, 10.75% of active credit card accounts paid only the minimum balance. It's the highest rate that they've had in 12 years. And the Philadelphia, that's per the Philly Federal Reserve Bank. Also, the network CNN, they're preparing for a new streaming rollout. They've been cutting jobs. It affects about 200 employees, the network says. They're digital hires. They're roughly evening out the staff numbers that they've axed over at the other part. But I don't feel bad about that. That's what happened. I can't, man, I got to really
Starting point is 00:12:50 My filters down today. I almost said something I shouldn't. Sorry. Store closures have hit the highest level since the pandemic. A lot of them. In fact, I thought this was a really good economy. I mean, that's what we're told that it's a great economy. But a number of stores are closing, including Macy's.
Starting point is 00:13:09 Macy's is cutting a lot of stores. So that's a big deal. Also, bird flu forcing a long island farm in New York to kill 100. thousand ducks. It's the Crescent Duck Farm. They have been forced to euthanize a flock of more than 100,000 due to positive bird flu tests. It's USDA. They confirmed several positive tests for bird flu. And this is per the Suffolk County Department of Health. So I kind of call shenanigans on that. I don't believe, honestly, it's not like it's passing to human. I mean, can't they get over it? Can't the birds get over the bird flu? It's not like they get bird flu and they have
Starting point is 00:13:46 bird flu forever. I mean, is it different with avians? I don't know. Costco shareholders over overwhelmingly rejected anti-DEI measures because wait I guess they want to lose money I guess they want to go broke so Costco they don't want to do anti-dei or they don't want they don't want to do they don't want to ban it they want to keep incorporate that's like the only company that I've heard of in the past I don't know several months now that is actually keeping the DEI stuff instead of axing it they made headlines because they had a robust defense of their DEI efforts this was like over Christmas they came out and they were defending this. So we'll see. We'll see how this goes. But we have a lot more on the way. Gun owners of America, Eric Pratt will join us. We got to
Starting point is 00:14:29 talk about some of these executive orders. Speaking of DEI, the ATF, all the fun letters, stick with us. What does living better mean to you? Starting point is 00:15:51 Shot Show, NSF's industry event. And we've been talking about a lot of stuff because we've had a really good election, but there's some other things that we've got to still hit. Eric Pratt, who is head of gun owners of America, joins me now in our Snow White Box. Welcome to the Snow White Box. It's great to be here.
Starting point is 00:16:08 Good to have you. I wanted to ask you, have you, you know, stop by the booth of your good friends over at the ATF and asked to speak with the DEI diversity officer? We actually have visited them. We dropped off some hats and also the Save a Pup,
Starting point is 00:16:25 abolish the ATF stickers. Do they enjoy those? They do. Actually, privately, some of them really enjoy it, which is funny. But when... If they're not publicly enjoying it, does it count? You know, I get their dilemma. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:42 So when they see you coming, what do they do? Are they just like, oh my gosh. Right. And then they hide behind the desk. Is that what they do? Yeah, pretty much. I love it. I love it.
Starting point is 00:16:52 So do they present to you, Eric, their chief diversity, whatever, Yellow Brook Road officer? Did they present that person to you? Did you get to meet them? Well, I don't know that they're here, but we certainly exposed them. You did? Because what happened? They had a chief diversity officer, but then magically the title on the website changed. So now I guess I'll just.
Starting point is 00:17:16 the controversy is over, huh? Yeah, so just to back up, I mean, the president issued an order. Every diversity officer had to be put on paid leave. And a subsequent memo pointed out, you can't disguise or hide these people, give them a new title, you know, like do a shell game, put them somewhere else. You can't do that. And we found out that they were doing that at ATF. So Gun Owners of America exposed it. Boy, our tweet. tweets went viral on it. Elon retweeted you did as well. I really appreciate that because that just helped to get the word out on this. This is our tax dollars. Oh yeah. And these are people that I mean I first off I mean beyond the point Eric of not needing an ATF I don't understand why you need that why you would need that role at the ATF I mean your alcohol tobacco and firearms why do you why would you have to have a chief diversity officer I mean it's a weird this is bizarre I feel like when a money Python episode.
Starting point is 00:18:16 Well, it's just so Biden. I mean, really. And so it's good to get rid. But, you know, what it really underscores. I mean, here they're defying the president. I mean, we've known all along they defy the Constitution. They defy the law. I mean, you know, they don't follow the rules that are set for them.
Starting point is 00:18:34 We have, our members are protected from the pistol brace ban. And yet as of last month, they were sending a letter to one of our members saying that they could not put a pistol brace on their. handgun in total defiance of the injunction that our lawsuit has against them. I mean, as you know, I mean, they go into people's homes who are not even accused of anything and they have shot them to death. We were talking earlier about the puppies, you know, save the puppies. They put many of them to death as well. A lot of times that's the first thing that goes. It's always puppy season at the ATF. They register gun owners, but then they say, oh, it's not a registry. I mean, there are so many things that So let me stop you right there because that's a bill that Michael Cloud.
Starting point is 00:19:18 I know there's a senator out of Ohio that, or, sorry, Idaho, that they've introduced, the Stop Registry Act, because even though we're not supposed to have, you know, save purchase data and create a de facto registry off that, the ATF has been doing that from the FFLs that they've been raiding and confiscating their property, even for so much as something like a grammatical error, the ATF will come and they've been rating these federal firearms licensees like the gun store retailers, you know, where you'd go purchase. purchase your gun and that's they've been getting from what I understand correct me if this number is too big hundreds of thousands of names and purchase so it's a
Starting point is 00:19:54 de facto registry because they know exactly what you bought it's your number is only incorrect because it's too low they so we got a document from ATF and then did a Freedom of Information Act request which was followed up by Michael Cloud doing Freedom of Information Act requests and what we found out all together was that the ATF has one billion with a B gun records already and over 900 million of them are digitized and our Freedom of Information Act found out that they can search that database. Now they say and you're going to laugh at this that they have paid Adobe to remove certain features like name and a couple other features which of course could easily be undone.
Starting point is 00:20:44 I'm thinking, even if that's legitimate, right? A button, right. Yeah. I mean, we've got computer guys that could figure that out. That's supposed to be your bulwark against having your rights and fringed upon. That's it, right. As an Adobe hack? Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:20:58 But here they have these names digitize, how is that not a registry? That is, yeah. They're saying that's not a registry. So I would love to know what makes that not a registry with them, Eric. Why do they think it's not one? I think it comes down to the definition of is, you know, right? gosh right and we're going full on Clinton now it's full on Clinton we're talking with Eric Pratt who's had a gun owners of America because that's a scary thing I mean I when you
Starting point is 00:21:23 couple that with the encouragement of red flag law and the obliteration of due process I mean that's just that's oh man that's terrifying that's actually legitimately scary so I'm so grateful for Representative Cloud in the house and Senator Rish in the Senate this is a fantastic bill to abolish the Now, many of us want to go the full way, abolish the ATF. And that's the goal. I don't know that we're going to get that immediately. But the registry, I think there's momentum in Congress building for this.
Starting point is 00:21:58 And so I hope people will ask their representatives and their senators to co-sponsor this legislation. It's the No Registry Rights Act. And... Is that going to get through to Trump? Will that hit his desk? hit his desk? I think, well, it's going to depend on grassroots support because a lot of times, you know, even good ideas don't go forward if they're not hearing from people.
Starting point is 00:22:26 So we have alerts on our website, gunowners.org, pushing this. People go there, we've made it easy. They can send off an email, they can make phone calls. That's really important. We're also working with key congressmen and leadership to get some of these things put on must pass legislation. look let's face it we're not going to get votes in the Senate or at least overcome the filibuster in the Senate on a lot of these things so it's going to
Starting point is 00:22:50 be really important to put it on must pass bills and so we're already working that drill there's great receptivity to that look this is how Democrats pass gun control they would put it on appropriation bills or the national defense authorization authorization so that's exactly the strategy that we're using to get these things passed are there any Republicans Eric that would drag their feet on this, which I can't imagine, but, you know, I mean, it's 20-25 and sometimes some of the ours are no better than the D's. Right.
Starting point is 00:23:20 You will have a couple. I'm thinking of like Fitzpatrick and Pennsylvania. There's a couple, but I think for the most part, you, historically, we had found that even Democrats, like, especially the Blue Dog Democrats, and I realize a lot of them are gone now, right? Yeah. But they opposed registration. as a privacy issue.
Starting point is 00:23:44 So I do think for every Republican we lose, I think we gain a Democrat or two who just on principle of privacy oppose this kind of registry. For those listening across the country or maybe you're watching the live stream, we're talking with Gun Owners of America's Eric Pratt. What do you make of John Cornyn's bill?
Starting point is 00:24:01 I got whiplash, my neck's a little sore, because we had that 2022, I got to think of the long name, bipartisan community, the name for that. And then we had the gun violence prevention that was supposed to implement the gun control bill. I mean, and he was instrumental in getting that gun control bill passed in 22.
Starting point is 00:24:15 Now he has a national reciprocity bill. Well, you know he has an election in a couple years. Oh, that's what it is. So everybody else runs center, and he leaves his spot in the center, Corny does, and then he runs to the right. He came on the show about it and was talking about it, and I was asking him, and he seemed like he just didn't really want to talk about that 2022 bill. It just doesn't exist anymore.
Starting point is 00:24:36 You know, he shows up at gun shows in Texas or Republican events. and he gets booed, loudly. Is it a good bill? I mean, from what I've read, it seems on its face, like, okay, it's a basic reciprocity bill. It's better than basic reciprocity because it protects constitutional carry states. So anybody, you know, Texas, Florida, Arizona, wherever you're from, if you're in a constitutional carry state, this legislation will protect you so that you can carry nationwide without a permit. So, yes, it's very good.
Starting point is 00:25:08 Don't say that because I don't think Democrats. know it. They may not, but that's something we fought hard for because a lot of past reciprocity bills didn't protect that and we didn't support it because we didn't want to undercut the constitutional carry movement, which was starting to grow legs. How did Cornyn introduce, how did he do this? It wasn't him. It was somebody, you remember Senator Tom Coburn? We had weekly meetings, Gun Owners of America, in his office, pushing for this, explaining why this was important, And finally, God bless him. He said, you know what?
Starting point is 00:25:41 I'm going to introduce a bill that protects it. So he was the first one. And ever since then, the people that have taken that mantle have included protection for constitutional care. Wow. I wanted to go back real quick to the DEI with the ATF. Why? Because you mentioned the presidential, the executive order from POTUS. Yes.
Starting point is 00:26:02 They can ignore an executive order. But if you get one thing wrong filling out your form, you're going in there, you're going in there. Whether you're buying a gunner, you're an FFL, you got, you messed up something, your 4473, your gun on or you messed up something on your paperwork. They'll shut you down. The ATF loves that. They're very excited. We know they're very excited about, but they can ignore an executive order.
Starting point is 00:26:22 Sounds like you're saying we need zero tolerance for the ATF. Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. Why, when can I follow the laws that I want to follow? I would love that. I mean, if that's, because the consistent application is part of strength of law. And if they're not consistent in application, they're degrading the law. So we can just follow their example, right?
Starting point is 00:26:40 Well, I'll tell you what, we've got an alert up on our website right now for people to take action on this. First of all, to fire, Trump should have this DEI officer in drag fired because she's just, you know, going under another name. And to abolish the ATF as well because it is clear they are defying everybody from the Constitution down to the chief executive to the law to courts. They just do what they want to do. They're out of control. And what are they actually, and I don't mean for this to be like such a myopic question, but what are they actually legitimately accomplished? So, you know, Michael Cloud, who did the Freedom of Information Act request,
Starting point is 00:27:22 asked them about the registry. So what's the purpose of it? Is it to solve crimes? Can you tell me how many crimes have been solved with the registry? Do you know they could not give him an, in effect, they even said that. We cannot answer that. That should be like their most basic, like they should have that memorized. But don't we know that gun control, I mean, you know, we preach that all the time, right? Gun control, you know, it never affects the criminals. They have not helped with gangbangers. They have not helped with, you know, the violent drug sales, anything like that. I mean, that's really what's driving all of this. I just see them harassing good people, innocent people who are completely... That's all gun control has ever done. Yeah, they're on the right side of the law, but they get turned into felons by dumb edicts. Yeah. So, I mean, I would love for that to be abolished. I would think that that would be great. I don't know if it's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:28:08 happen with this term. I don't know about that. Again, I do think momentum's building for that. If you're talking about abolishing the ATF, that's a real big. And I will say this, we do want to abolish the ATF, but understand, you know, if you think of it in terms of like movies where they have to clip the wire to defuse the bomb, sometimes you'll see a movie where you have to clip two wires at the same time. That's this situation here. You can't just get rid of ATF or the FBI or the DEA will enforce the gun control that they were enforcing. And we don't want that.
Starting point is 00:28:42 So the other wire to clip is we have to repeal the NFA and the GCA. So that's why this is a bigger momentum, a bigger lift for, you know, looking ahead. Two other quick questions. First is the, so now that we have a new regime change, I guess, vice president's out, she was heading up the Gun Violence, Office of Gun Violence Prevention, such a dumb long name. They were said to have been colluding with the ATF. to go after Glock in Chicago.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Is that stopping now with the new administration, not that that office is- My understanding is, it's gone. You go to the website, you get a 404 era. So what does that mean for the legal fight with the Chicago and going after- I think the fight still happens? They're just, they've had an arm or a leg.
Starting point is 00:29:30 Exactly cut off, yeah. Well, I mean, all of the feds, I mean, it's not like the ATF there. Interesting. And then of course, a lot of the stuff that have been seeing, state by state. I think it was in Washington. I know there's some stuff in Colorado where they're going after. I mean, it's the same story, semi-automatic firearms. I feel like it kind of shocks me
Starting point is 00:29:48 that they're still trying this state by state. I just kind of want to get your thoughts on the landscape as we're going into this new new administration. Well, you know, as your question assumes, it's amazing they still keep going. And, you know, for so long, you know, the Brady bill passed. And the idea was, we'll just get this behind us and that'll satisfy the other. other side and we won't have to deal with gun control anymore. You never satisfy the other side. They always keep coming. That's why we cannot compromise. Thankfully, we, you know, we'll find out soon. We may have some, a case, the Snopes case out of Maryland, going to the Supreme Court. And if they don't take that one, we've got one that we're working on in Illinois. So there's a lot,
Starting point is 00:30:31 it's a target-rich environment, if you will, for getting a case before the court. We had actually appealed our semi-auto case in Illinois to the Supreme Court. And they don't like taking things before they run their full course. And the court said that. But Justice Thomas indicated there were severe problems with what Illinois was doing. So I love the fact that he's already indicated that he really wants a case like this. That's interesting. Because I know they were sort of hesitant to take some of those cases.
Starting point is 00:31:05 But now that looks like that's changing. Eric Pratt with Gunners of America. You guys do such a great job. Thank you. And you don't, you hold the line. You don't move away from it at all, which is pretty extraordinary in an industry where you have a lot of groups that do.
Starting point is 00:31:17 Well, I appreciate that. And, of course, we appreciate what you do, getting the word out. That helps. Always love helping you all. So thank you so much for what you do. Eric Pratt with Gun Owners of America, folks. And you can follow him on X at Eric Impre.

Whenever you want subscribe to the Dana Show podcast on YouTube Apple or wherever you get your podcast like sands through the hourglass so are the days of the United States and so what we're seeing is an attack not on necessarily DEI or wokeness we're seeing an attack on the very fabric of our company which is opportunity for all including women and women what we'll be has said often women were really the the most, they gain the most advantages from affirmative action. And so this is a war on women.
Starting point is 00:33:11 I think it's a war on people of color. And what we're going to see is a lot of pain, but especially to those communities that need those jobs. So this is Sunny Hosten over at the Schmoo, who is saying that ending these DEI programs, how is that an attack on women? Look, I'm going to tell you all something. It's Friday, I'm tired.
Starting point is 00:33:34 I'm not a spring chicken. You hit 40 and you're like, oh my gosh, like, why is this ache here? I've been running all over the floor rooms here at Shacho in Vegas. And I'm being told and being pandered to that if we eliminate bigoted and racial programs, then it's anti-woman. You can't just constantly use anti-woman as some sort of, you know, fear tactic. I'm so tired of this stuff. And why is it always promoted by the people who do actually the most against women who do the most to disempowering? It's just so stupid.
Starting point is 00:34:01 I mean, I'm so done with this. It's like the new, it's the new Godwin's Law. We got a lot more on the way. Second hour coming up and we're finishing up our last day here at Shacho in Vegas. Stick with us. All family pharmacy, you just need to bookmark this website. I've never been to a website where they make it easier to get the medicines that you need. And look, for like, I get it if you want to go to a doctor and you want to have, they have doctors that are on their stat that you can actually talk to. So for instance, when I over Thanksgiving, I was getting super. sick. I had sinusitis and it was turning into strep and I had people coming on. I was hosting for Thanksgiving. I don't have time for this. So I went on all family pharmacy's website, all family pharma.com. And I use my own code name. I'm not going to even lie about it. I drop my own name and I got it, you know, got it discounted for 10% off. It's all family pharma.com slash Dana. And I was able to get my azithromycin because if I were to go to my doctor, that's the exact same thing. They're going to prescribe me. I've been, this ain't my first rodeo. And then I had it overnighted. Got here at 9 a.m. 9 a.m. I ordered this stuff at like 7 o'clock last night. So it was amazing how quickly that
Starting point is 00:35:11 they got it there. Anything that you need. This is a must have when you're traveling. They have everything. I've remectin, which I take ahead of big events for the antiviral properties. But they have all kinds of reliable options for a variety of health needs. Be prepared. Skip the hassle. And here's the kicker. Big thing. Big, big, big. Their stuff is made in the USA, not China. So you hear about a lot of antibiotics being made in CCP China, not these. It's all USA.

Starting point is 00:35:56 Sanctuary's makes it less efficient and more. but it's not going to stop us. We're going to, we're hitting every sanctuary city right now. Well, I can tell you right now, Chris, if we arrested 1,300 people, over 1,000 of them were criminals. Who are the other ones? They're either fugitives who've been to immigration court in order to remove, but didn't leave, became a fugitive, or collaterals. That's Tom Homan, who is saying they're going in right now. They're already starting the deportation for people who got here illegally. People are being sent back. Tom Homan's all business. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you, we're broadcasting live from Vegas in Shot Show.
Starting point is 00:36:34 And POTUS is expected to be heading to Vegas. So he's in North Carolina now. They're going to be going to, after he finishes, he's surveying the damage. Then the word is that he's flying to Vegas. Don't know if he's staying the night in Vegas or not. I think that's up in the air. And then he's going to be in L.A. surveying the wildfire damage there and talking with state and local officials
Starting point is 00:36:57 to try to work around FEMA. California, I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday, and they were, their family, they're here just, you know, because they have a side business as an FFL, but they also do stuff with like construction and rehabilitation, and they were saying, I asked them, I said, is it true? Like, all the stuff that I've been hearing about in terms of trying to rebuild your home or your business after like a wildfire or earthquake or something like that in California. And I relayed the story of this guy who, it took 12 years, just. just to get through the regulations, it took 12 years for him to rebuild his property. That's insane. And the gentleman I was speaking was said, oh yeah, that's true. And there are even scenarios that are more worse case than that. And he was describing how after one wildfire, and this was, I think, like nine years ago, he said that it took them because of where the home that they were working on was situated.
Starting point is 00:37:55 It was like 13 and a half years. because the regulations change. So, like, every couple of years, it's like they get dumber and dumber. And so you have to basically start from scratch. And then there's all of this added regulation and red tape and all of that. I mean, my head was spinning. Can you imagine owning property and having a home, your home burned down through no fault of your own? And there were some of the people, too, who do like the concrete, the firewall, all that stuff.
Starting point is 00:38:26 And they're like sometimes that's not even enough. But can you imagine doing everything you're supposed to do and your home burns down? And the state's like, oh, well, I guess you're SOL. And then when you go to rebuild your life, you have to go through like five different government agencies. Then you have to get like an environmental impact thing to, they assess your property and where your home was. They can't even assess. I mean, the environmental impact was that the fire burned down your damn house. So why, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:38:56 I can't, why the hell does anybody live out there? The weather is not all that, guys. It's not all that. You know what? You have a lovely couple of weeks in Texas. But then the freedom outweighs the heat. You know what I'm saying? It's just, so anyway, POTUS is going to be, he might be coming here.
Starting point is 00:39:14 Well, he's going to be coming to Shacho. And then they're saying that if he does stay, he'll stay at the Trump. He'll stay at the big Trump hotel, which is like right across the street from us. So, interesting. He likes to come to Shot Show, so we knew that. But he's coming in at Harry Reid Airport. So that airport's going to shut down when POTUS comes in. So there will be flight delays today.
Starting point is 00:39:37 If you're flying today and you're going out west anywhere, especially if you're in Vegas, 50% chance of a big flight delay. Because they have to freeze the airspace when POTUS comes in. So, yeah, it's making Juan real happy right now. Poor Juan. Juan's like, I just wanted to go home back to Texas. Oh, man. I feel you. So that's happening today. And I'm sure he's obviously probably going to be meeting with NSSF folks. He might make, I mean, depending on when he comes in, you never know. You know, only like his innermost team know. Maybe he makes some remarks. I don't know. Maybe he'll talk about some gun stuff and reciprocity. We'll see. So we'll watch all of that as well for you. But as in the meantime, as we were talking about, these deportations. Here's the thing. I wanted to play this audio for you too. This is Audio Summit 813. It's Ron DeSantis.
Starting point is 00:40:25 He was having a press conference because he was, it's a press availability for the governor's office. And they were talking about the implementation of not only deportation, but also now that they have the ability to do so, strict enforcement, implementing Trump's agenda, state by state. And this reporter decided to get froggy. There was a reporter that was pushing back and he was correcting the terminology of this reporter. But he did a really good job. Listen, this is audio somebody 13. He explained it quite well. Here are Dr. Jacksonville. I just have four questions. One, Florida is home to hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants who are working in areas.
Starting point is 00:41:08 You know, just to be, so the federal government has made clear that the statutory term, it's not undi-it, they're illegal aliens, that's the statutory term, that's what it is. And I think it's to try to water down. I mean, like, undocumented, it's like, if I get in my car and I forget, my wallet okay I don't have my document on me like my driver's license but I mean I still have a right to drive I just made have made a mistake this is intentional to come in illegally it's not just the question of missing a document it's a question of you know you violated the law that were very clear and knowingly and with the help of the cartels in many cases yeah
Starting point is 00:41:46 so Florida is home to it's home to hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants who are illegal aliens Illegal immigrants. I like how he just corrects it. He should. He was not going to accept the narrative on that. Like this whole idea of migrant, they're trying to conflate it on purpose. Nobody has a problem with immigration. Immigration's awesome. But you absolutely, as a sovereign nation, have a right to determine how many and who. And you get to say you didn't come here illegally, get out. Or you came here illegally, get out. You can't do it anywhere else. I mean, I don't know how many times Democrats have to be told this. So here's what's interesting.
Starting point is 00:42:24 The Democrat Massachusetts governor, Mara Healy. Audio Soundbite 17. I want you guys to listen to this. I wouldn't describe them as raids. What it seems to be is what we expected and what I support, which is the apprehension of criminals in our communities. Interesting. These Democrats know which way the wind is blowing.
Starting point is 00:42:49 Very interesting. I want to switch gears here now with Cabinet. Audio sound 818. Elizabeth Warren goes after Pete Hegseth over his drinking. Listen. Secretary of Defense has to be ready to go. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Look, I understand there are people who have alcohol problems,
Starting point is 00:43:15 but we cannot trust the safety. of our country to someone who has demonstrated repeatedly using very bad judgment with alcohol and doing it in ways that truly have incapacitated him. Okay, so that's such hyperbole. That's so ridiculous. I mean, he did this show. It was for Fox Nation. It was like this, you know, special that they did, and he sat down with a bunch of veterans and they had scotch, right? And they were drinking scotch and they were having a discussion and it was, you know, our bourbon. I don't know. It was part of their, part of the thing. This has been extrapolated and exaggerated and modified to now mean that he is drunk all the time 24-7 and he just keeps a flask under his desk at Fox. And that's such a lie,
Starting point is 00:44:06 but that's how they're trying to misrepresent all of this. It's so dumb. And honestly, I mean, he's a veteran. He's, you know, 40-something years old. If he has, you know, a beer or a couple of drinks every now and then, or maybe if he's out, you know, with friends and family and, you know, he has a couple drinks. As long as he's not going behind the wheel, why is this a big deal to Laiwatha? I mean, why is this such a big deal to Fokohannis? Why is this such a big deal to her? Why? I mean, remember when she was like, oh, sweetie, would you like a beer? And then her husband acted shocked. Like, who are you and what did you do with my wife? I feel like she beats him with a broomstick when there was like no cameras. It was the weirdest damn thing I've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:44:44 Can I just stop for a minute? You remember that? Like, where's the body language experts for that. That man looked like he was whipped. Didn't he? No, I mean, not like that way, like the bad way. Like he actually got, gets beat with sticks or something. He, she officers like, oh, sweetheart, would you like a beer? And he like flinched. Do you see him? She's too named him stupid and not put that video up on Instagram. I think he was blinking Morse code. If you look at the video. Yeah, he's probably like, uh, oh, me. He's like freaking out. That was so weird. That was like not normal behavior. You know, like you can tell interactions between couples what's normal and what's put on.
Starting point is 00:45:21 Like, oh, hey, baby, I want beer, I'll get you one. Or I'm getting me one. You want one. But then she, like, makes a big, like, even the way she was standing in front of the camera. It was, it was like this. I'm going to act it out if you're watching. Oh. And she's, like, making sure she's posed right before.
Starting point is 00:45:36 Oh, the camera. Oh, honey. Would you like a beer? And he looks at her, and he's like, no, you dumb broad. I don't drink beer. You stupid, dumb woman. How long have we been married? You know, I don't drink beer.
Starting point is 00:45:47 And she's like, oh, I like a cold one. And then she's like drinking it so awkwardly. It's the weirdest, the weirdest stuff I've ever seen. But I'm telling you, that's telling you. So she has no, man, that's a big water bottle. Golly. All the little ones were gone. So I got the bigin.
Starting point is 00:46:05 I got the bigin. What size would you like? Gronte? Biggin. I'll have that one. So she's attacking him. Look, I don't know how long you're going to hold this up. I think this one and Gabbert will be held up.
Starting point is 00:46:19 Everybody else, actually, Gabbert will probably be held up less, but I think it's just Hegg Seth, because he's charismatic, and I think because he's charismatic, I think that's one of the, more so than the drinking. I think it's just because,
Starting point is 00:46:30 and the drinking, it's just social drinking. Why is that a big deal? I mean, for crying out loud, you know. I had a gin martini with dinner last night. You know, you're a big deal. You know, responsible and moderation and social, just, you know, when you're at dinner, that's not a big deal.
Starting point is 00:46:45 I've know him and I know a lot of people who know him and I hear gossip like you would not believe if he was a drunk and he was abusive I would have heard about it from all of my friends that work with him and that are in the same circle so I've not heard that so I'm just saying I think it's it's part
Starting point is 00:47:04 they just he's charismatic and they don't like that I think that's a part isn't that a weird reason because he can say something because he's charismatic and he's a younger I mean, compare him to Millie. It's the difference between pandering and connecting. And that's what they hate about the right.
Starting point is 00:47:23 The left hates the fact that they can easily connect, even though they think that they dominate. Because we look normal. Because our dudes don't lob off their penises and they don't get into skirts. That's why. I mean, hell, we look normal. Our men are normal. Our women are normal.
Starting point is 00:47:37 You know, we don't have like dudes in skirts. You know, in the Air Force going, it's, ma'am. Do you like my medals? call me call me Joan like we don't we don't have that our people are just like
Starting point is 00:47:51 can we just get on with a job we just live our lives can we just do our job to be great I'm gonna talk you know how I'm talking about this
Starting point is 00:47:57 because we got Lieutenant Colonel Alan West he's gonna be coming up and I'm gonna talk to him about that that's gonna be funny because I've never
Starting point is 00:48:04 actually brought that up with him before let's just see how mad we can make him with a question he can't hear us right now so he's sitting outside my
Starting point is 00:48:11 shh he's sitting outside no no he can He's sitting... He's literally sitting right by the speaker. But if we talk like this, they can't hear him. So, wait, hold up. So, he's sitting right outside.
Starting point is 00:48:22 Oh, he's getting distracted now. Yeah, he's distracted. So we're gonna try to see how many we can make him with a question about the... Ranny Taze. I can't say trainee, right? Can I say training? You just did it. You did it twice.
Starting point is 00:48:33 I said it in PIG Latin. No, you actually... I am fluent in PIG Latin, my dear. Yeah. When you're asking whether you can say it, you said it twice. You know, I'm more going to talk to him about that. Because the DEI stuff that Trump put out in EO is applicable immediately. is applicable immediately to military and all that other stuff too. So rock and roll.

Starting point is 00:49:35 And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five. Today in stupid legislation, Mississippi State Senator Bradford Blackman He's a Democrat introduced a bill this week That would It's called the Conception I'm just gonna say it Oh no
Starting point is 00:49:55 Conception begins an erection Act That's what it's called And they said that it's an introduction of a bill That would ban men From engaging in any kind of sexual act If it is not for fertilization Can we just for science purposes is only is that scientifically true that conception happens at the erection?
Starting point is 00:50:20 No, this guy is no idea how babies are made because his mom had never told him. But furthermore, how do you enforce that? You can't. Number one, number two, I always thought it was like, you know, my body, my choice and all that. He's a Democrat, right? Isn't that his mantra? Why did they do this stupid stuff? That's just so stupid.
Starting point is 00:50:36 I mean, it's a stunt, I get it, but it's just a dumb one. Oh, oh, oh, a lost Tina Turner track? What's up with that? Lost Tina Turner track. It was recorded at her lowest. It sheds light on her triumphant return to fame. It is a track that has been unearthed from her vaults. It's a previously unheard track called Hot Ford Hugh, Baby.
Starting point is 00:51:01 And it was, I sounded like butthead just then. And it was intended for use on her fifth solo album, Private Dancer, but it never made it. So now they got it. That's interesting. Huh. Smartphone use leads to hallucinations, detachment from reality, aggression. in teens as young as 13, what in the world? So they said that the younger a person starts using a phone,
Starting point is 00:51:20 the more likely they would be crippled by a whole host of psychological ills. They looked at 10,500 teens from age 13 to 17. Look, I'm fine with parents having phones for their kids, but you've got to be your kids, babe, you're the parent, you know, you can't have the government do it. Monitor how much screen time your kid gets. You can do it. You birth the kid, you raise the kid, you can do it.
Starting point is 00:51:38 We got Lieutenant Colonel Allen West joining us next from Shacho. Stick with us. Starting point is 00:52:56 Dana Lash here with you broadcasting live from Shot Show in Las Vegas. And he cracks me up every single time we talk. My very good friend, Lieutenant Colonel Allen West. Oh, now you're standing up, Colonel, come on. Well, yeah, I'll get that show of the way. He told me he goes, play back in front. black because I'm black and it almost I first I thought he was saying a lyric and then I stopped and looked at him it was a riot good it's good and you dress him and I'm
Starting point is 00:53:20 dressed because I can't dress myself it's easy it's good to see you it's good to be seen look nice and rested and I'm all good we were talking and everybody knows everyone knows Alan West because you have your own program that you do and you do a great job I can't catch all I can't catch it I only watch a few people you're one of the people I actually do watch but I can't watch every episode but I like your I like your commentary. I like the way you approached stuff and it's just very, you know, matter of fact. But you and I were talking, because we were getting into some of like the deportations and, you know, the illegal crossing. The Marines are heading to the border. We don't know exactly where yet.
Starting point is 00:53:55 Yeah. But what you were telling me is that what they really need to be focusing on is that big bend area. Yeah. Which is incredibly mountainous. That terrain's difficult because that's where you said the real baddies are coming in. That's where the people, the gotaways, the people that don't want to be detected and caught. And as a matter of fact, when you go out there and you talk to the Border Patrol in the Big Bend sector, they're Alpine, Texas, and what have you. They actually put carpeting on the bottom of their shoes so they can't be tracked. To hide their tracks. Absolutely. So these are some serious actors out there. And you know those mountain passes.
Starting point is 00:54:27 That's not easy terrain. No, it's not. So while we're focusing on the kids and the women and everyone that's coming across and Del Rio, Eagle Pass, whatever, the bad actors are coming out there in West. Texas. How do you even begin to enforce that in that area? I mean, drones seem like it's the easiest thing. Well, you got to have drones. You have to have aerial surveillance. You have to have bodies on the ground because, you know, this is just the same as, you know, us being over in Afghanistan or these type of place where you have that mountainous wreck of terrain. That is a good point. That's why you need to have military down there. This is not just a law enforcement type of thing. And
Starting point is 00:55:02 we send our military to provide security on everybody else's border. We built up here. Gaza and we had some of our men injured. How did that work out? You know, so well. Yeah, yeah. Feed humas, feed him. Yeah, let's give them supplies that they'll just sell the back on the black market. Yeah, that's actually a really good point to get, because they know how to do this and they know that terrain.
Starting point is 00:55:21 That's what they've trained in, they know it. Yeah, and so to have the Marines down there or get someone like the 10th Mountain Division of the United States up, absolutely, that's their whole thing. Oh, that sounds fun. Yes. Oh my gosh, the 10th Mountain Division, Cain, get them out there to handle it. That because that's no you're right nobody ever talks about every now and then it comes up but honestly I because that's a scary area when you think of it it's beautiful and then you realize
Starting point is 00:55:45 oh cartels oh sure you go out and you talk to the folks there in alpine texan they will tell you yeah we always have these folks that are transiting across our ranches we see them all the time i was out there one time eating at a restaurant and the restaurant owner said yeah we see the illegals just come right across and they just continue on and it's always single military age males out there and those are the ones we need to be focusing on. Isn't that the area where like three, two or three years ago there was a couple jet skiing in the lake in that area, the big bend area, like on the border or no in the Rio they were actually in the river. Yeah. Yeah. And he was shot and killed, the husband was shot and killed by cartels. Well, absolutely,
Starting point is 00:56:23 because the cartels on the other side, guess what they have? They have observation posts. In the military, we call LPOPs, listening post, observation posts. And so they're looking across and they're making sure that no one is paying attention to their infiltration routes and things of this nature. And they have scouts that are out just as well. So that's why this is a military operation. And President Trump has the right perspective in putting our forces down. This is not a violation of Posse Comitatis. This is protecting your border. I'm so glad you said that.
Starting point is 00:56:52 It's not. We're not employing the military against American citizens. We're employing the military against invaders. Because you know what? What you just said, I mean to stop on that from it, that's huge, because the state So I remember when Jan Brewer in Arizona was trying to enforce and the DOJ came down on her like a ton of bricks Yeah. To stop her from enforcing security and border enforcement and her dealing with border enforcement in her area. But she had the right to do that as a governor. So it was weird for the federal government to say you can't enforce this because it's a federal government matter.
Starting point is 00:57:26 Well then the federal government then that you just gave the argument. Well, then you can't send the military. That's the whole point. It's a federal issue. The whole point is that in Article 4, Section 4 of the Constitution, which is known as the Guarantee Clause, the federal government is supposed to protect every state in the union from invasion. So if they don't do what they're supposed to do, Article 1, Section 3, Section 10, clause number 3, says exactly what states can do when the federal government fails so that they can secure themselves
Starting point is 00:57:52 and they can do it with impunity. It lays down every means and resource. So if the federal government does not do their constitutional duty, the states have a right to do that. And it was just amazing doing the Biden administration that they tried to bring the hammer down, and, of course, doing their Obama administration as well. Talking with Colonel Allen West, if you're all watching the simulcast, Channel 347 DirecTV, or if you're listening across the country, I had a conversation with someone in Army Futures Command a couple of weeks ago, and they were talking about recruitment.
Starting point is 00:58:26 And everyone seemed a little hopeful, you know, after maybe, you know, the election. election, this is actually before the election, I need to modify that. It was right before the election. And everyone was being very hopeful. Like maybe, you know, if this goes the right way, then, you know, we'll be able to deal with military. And, you know, we have a problem with recruitment and messaging. And I spoke up and I said, well, respectfully, if I can be very frank, I'm like, I don't know if messaging's your problem when you got guys at the Air Force wearing skirts and lipsticks. And then they're, you know, like the top of the food chain up there. And then you got other military leaders that are leaving our men and women to die at Abbey Gate.
Starting point is 00:58:59 and you got others that are you know making them withhold defending themselves and the people that they're serving with and then we get unnecessary fatalities I'm like that's kind of what our young men including my military age sons and one of them's on the fence about it that's what they're seeing and they're like wait is are they gonna if I serve and give my all to my country is my country gonna be there for me and they couldn't answer well of course he couldn't answer that because he couldn't give you an honest answer because he's still in uniform but it's not a messaging problem it is the actions that they saw in the previous
Starting point is 00:59:29 that you just articulated. When people can understand their pronouns, better than they can understand their task and purpose, you know, the purpose of a military, and even Colin Powell said this, is to go in and kill people and break stuff. That's just the bottom line. You know, when I was in the military,
Starting point is 00:59:46 I wasn't trained to make build roads and all this stuff. I was an artillery officer. I was trained to blow things up and blow people up. Can I say that you have one of the most badass stories I think I've ever heard? No, no. Everybody knows his story, right? He was saved.
Starting point is 00:59:59 lives. Yeah, you were. You were out there saving lives and they tried to come at you for it. That's what a commander's supposed to do. Okay, I'm supposed to look after his truce because guess what? If they know that you got their back and you're out there, you know, hooking and jabbing with them on, you know, patrols and combat operations, they're going to fight tough. I think Denzel could play you in a movie about your life. I don't know. He looked pretty good in that gladiator too. I mean, I just, I feel, right? Like, if I was casting, I'd be like, okay, Denzel's going to play Carnar Island West and then we'll fill everything else out. We'll get, you know maybe Angela Bassett for you know your wife and you know get every I see like I'm really you are you already got the movie done I'm sure you done in my head yeah you think
Starting point is 01:00:36 Denzel can pull off the salt and pepper flat top that's what I'm worried about I don't know if he I think he could I think he could yeah he might be able to do it but I mean you get it and from your how how different is it from when you were in active duty to now different that fast it's totally different yeah it doesn't take long it takes you know the policies that come from a certain administration can change the course and direction of a military or any government agency. And that's what we saw in these four years. And so we have a military this atropede.
Starting point is 01:01:07 You know, if you don't use your muscles, you know exactly what happens. So we have a military that is not trained up in the skills that is supposed to be trained. That warrior ethos that P.C. has talks about. I was going to ask you about that. We've got to restore that. And that's for men and women. Look, I understand this. I believe in fairness and all this stuff.
Starting point is 01:01:27 But we do not have men and women competed against each other in figure skating. Yeah, that's a great point. So if men and women can't compete against each other in figure skating, how the hell are you supposed to tell me that, okay, men and women are equal on the battlefield? That dog don't hunt. And so I think that we need to get people that have that perspective and understanding because there's nothing fair about if you and I have to go mono and mono. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:49 Oh, no. You're going to whoop me. And you can't change the standards. I can yell louder, but you'll whoop me. And I'm 64. And I guarantee you if I still lay the punch on, Awesome, Dana Lash, it will probably break your job. I can dodge, but at some point I'd get hit.
Starting point is 01:02:03 I'm quick, but yeah, at some point I get hit. It'd be, yeah, I get it, I get it. So let's get back to normality. You mentioned Huggseth. What do you think of him? I think that he's going to do a great job. I think the most important thing for Pete Hagseth is to surround himself with a stable of stallions.
Starting point is 01:02:17 That means the deputy secretary, the undersecretaries, those type of folks really have to be strong to be able to implement those policies. And you've got to root things out seven or eight levels deep. You got to get rid of all these people. Because this is multi-decade's. Multi-decade. Many layers. I mean, people call it the deep state. I just call it a bureaucratic administrative state.
Starting point is 01:02:37 So, you know, the president has issued an order by all these DEI offices closing. And so what are they trying to do? They changed the name of the office like you just saw with the ATF. So I think that you have to really go in there and say, you're out. I think that's hysterical, by the way. They just, because Trump gave this order, they've got to get rid all this DEI in government. And they're like, oh, we'll just change the position. no one will ever know.
Starting point is 01:02:59 Yeah. We'll just change the title on the website. Yeah, I was born in the morning, not this morning. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Exactly. We're talking with our friend Alan West and his last two books, we can overcome an American black conservative manifesto and hold Texas, hold the nation.
Starting point is 01:03:12 Let me ask you about that, too. Hold, Texas, hold the nation. Yeah. So two very interesting states that I'm watching. So Florida and Texas. Yes. And everyone always says, oh, you've got a super majority. That's great.
Starting point is 01:03:22 You should be able to do everything as Republicans. We're learning that you can't. I mean, so in Florida, The week Republicans, those are the ones that wanted gun control and all this other stuff. They're fighting to Santas and Trump because they think that they should be able to wait until March to go into office. We don't have that time to spare. And then in Texas, they just guaranteed that Democrats can be on committee chairs. And so basically everything that we do with the Republican supermajority is going to have to get approved by Democrats.
Starting point is 01:03:49 Yeah, it's amazing to me because in the state of Texas, the statehouse has 150 seats. You've got 88 Republicans and 62 Democrats. It's pretty easy, right? Yeah. Well, instead, you got 36 Republicans that went over and joined with 49 Democrats to select a speaker. And now you just had a rules package that passed that, you know, gave the Democrats all of this power on committees to include being able to kill legislation. Why? Why did they do that? People are just cowards.
Starting point is 01:04:16 There are some Republicans that are just cowers. And I can understand why you would. Donald Trump won Texas by 15 percentage points. Ted Cruz Juan, Texas, his Senate C-era, I thought it was going to be so close, 9 to 11 points. So why do we think that we need to go and be kumbaya with these people that they'll slit our throats? I mean, figuratively and literally, if they could. So I think that you're going to see a lot of Republicans. This will be their last legislative session in the Texas State House.
Starting point is 01:04:46 How long is this damage going to last? Because I know the big fight was to oust Dade Phelan as speaker, but it seems like now we replace Dade Phelan with Dade Phelan 2.0. Yeah, Dustin Burroughs, which is just one of his cronies. And everyone was, you know, cheering when Dave Phelan said, I'm not going to run for a speaker. I said, it doesn't matter. You know, something's up.
Starting point is 01:05:05 Yeah, something's up. And so I think that you really got the clean House and look at those 36 Republicans that voted with the Democrats to select this guy to be our speaker. Because by their own rules in the Texas State House, they're supposed to select a speaker out of their caucus. Will you come back and take over the party in Texas, please, for the love of all things holy? I'll come back and do whatever God and Dana Lash tells me to do.
Starting point is 01:05:27 So if I pray to God, please may Colonel Island West come back and run. It's not, though, because I'm begging him to use the power of his servants for his glory. So, you know, can just make that happen. Ask boldly. Ask boldly, Colonel. Ask boldly. You got me. Yes, sister. Amen. Amen, sister. Colonel Allen West, I'm so happy to see you here, my friend. I got to tell people he's one of the realest ones in this industry in politics.
Starting point is 01:05:51 I wish you'd go back into it, honestly. I get why you don't like it. Well, I'm the chair over in Dallas County, so we've got some good things we're doing there. That's Dallas County. I mean, no offense. It's not my county, though. I want you where I can, in my county where it can be better for me. Terrence, good county.
Starting point is 01:06:06 I know. It's a great county. Both great. I mean, but maybe like take over the whole state party. You know? I already did that. I know, but do it again. You want the brother back?
Starting point is 01:06:15 Yes. Bring the brother back. Back in black. Yes, back in black. That's right. All and Wes, always good to see you, my friend. God bless you. Yeah.

So we've got
Starting point is 01:07:24 a Florida man was arrested after hitting a police officer in the face with a snowball. They got enough snow I guess down there to make. Now if it was on the beach where he did this, there's going to be a sandy snowball. That would hurt. So he was arrested. He hit an officer in the face with a snowball. It was a snowball flight
Starting point is 01:07:43 that escalated into chaos and this 22-year-old man who threw the offending ball was arrested. It was in Tallahassee and they were throwing There were people throwing snowballs at cars passing by on Madison Street. Citizens were complaining. Fox 35 Orlando says that then police had to respond.
Starting point is 01:08:01 And authorities said, you can't throw stuff, including snowballs into a moving vehicle. That's a felony. But then when the participants, when the police arrived, the snowball people turned on the cops. And they began throwing them throwing snowballs at the police. One hit someone's cruiser, another one got hit right in the face. They had to give them warnings over the PA system. Apparently it was a crowd. It's described as a crowd.
Starting point is 01:08:25 They ignored commands to disperse, and the snowballs were flying. So police were like, all right, you brought a snowball to the fight. We'll bring pepper balls. And they didn't cause any injuries, but they did use pepperball. You're just sitting over there smiling so much about that. I don't know how to, I mean, yes, you shouldn't throw snowballs at passing cars, but I just think this whole thing is a terrible. I think it's hilarious that snow in Florida,
Starting point is 01:08:49 and then this is what happens. They decide it's combat. It snowed. It's time for combat. Oh, no, we had that one yesterday. So let me, oh gosh, I don't want to read this one that Florida woman, Amber sent. She's the one who I think, and I know she's cackling right now, she tries to look for the most offensive stories possible.
Starting point is 01:09:07 Oh, no. And send them to me. Like those, I'm okay. I'm going to try to do this. I was triple dog dared. Good luck. I have to take that. I got to take that dare.
Starting point is 01:09:16 A man with, um, abnormally large parts of his male copulatory area I did that well was arrested for exposing said area to a teenager he if you look at this dude he looks like it
Starting point is 01:09:37 he looks like crossed between that poltergeist preacher and a pervert oh yeah he just oh right so he faces charges of lewd behavior towards a minor as Sunrise Police did it. His name is Mark Buckley
Starting point is 01:09:53 62. He was arrested because he was exposing himself and apparently bragging about his bits. Everything about this story is so nasty. We're all going to go throw up a little bit. Everything about this is nasty. And then days after the inauguration, there was a Florida guy who was
Starting point is 01:10:11 arrested for trespassing at Mar-a-Lago. He tried to hop in the wall. How would you think that was going to go for you, my dude? How did a 32 year old man was arrested. He scaled a wall to get tomorrow Lago two days after the inauguration and Secret Service had him immediately. And they took him into custody. His bond has been set at $100,000. So coming up our third hour of the program. And POTUS is going to be heading to L.A. and then he's going to be in Vegas tonight for a rally tomorrow. We got a lot to hit. as we roll towards our third hour here broadcasting from Shachow in Vegas. Stick with us. All-family pharmacy, you just need to bookmark this website. I've never been to a website where they make it easier to get the medicines that you need.
Starting point is 01:11:01 And look, for like, I get it. If you want to go to a doctor and you want to have, they have doctors that are on their stat that you can actually talk to. So, for instance, when I over Thanksgiving, I was getting super sick. I had sinusitis and it was turning into strep. And I had people coming on. I was hosting for Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 01:11:16 I don't have time for this. So I went on all family pharmacies website, all family pharma.com. And I use my own code name. I'm not going to even lie about it. I dropped my own name and I got it, you know, got it discounted for 10% off. It's all family pharma.com slash Dana. And I was able to get my azithromycin because if I were to go to my doctor, that's the exact same thing.
Starting point is 01:11:39 They're going to prescribe me. I've been, this ain't my first rodeo. And then I had it overnighted. Got here at 9 a.m. 9 a.m. I ordered this stuff at like 7 o'clock. So it was amazing how quickly that they got it there. Anything that you need, this is a must have when you're traveling.

But you can't have a security detail for the rest of your life because you work for government. Yeah, we'll see what happens. something would have happened to say Dr. Fauci or John Bolton? No. You know, they all made a lot of money.
Starting point is 01:12:53 They can hire their own security, too. All the people you're talking about, they can go out, I can give them some good numbers of very good security people. They can hire their own security. They all made a lot of money. Fauci made a lot of money. They all did. So if they, you know, felt that strongly, I think that certainly I would not take responsibility.
Starting point is 01:13:16 I love this. thing that POTUS did too. If you're just joining us, first off, welcome back. Top of our third hour, Dana Lashire with you, broadcasting from Vegas, shot show 2025 from the National Shooting Sports Foundation. We're going to talk to Larry Keene, head of that later on. But additionally, he, because Trump is heading to Los Angeles later today, he's in North Carolina. He's surveying the devastating effects of the hurricane that they're still recovering from. Then he's heading to L.A. to survey wildfire damage. And then he's coming to Vegas. He's staying here tonight. And then they have a rally at Circo tomorrow, I believe. I don't know what time that is, but he's
Starting point is 01:13:56 very busy. And then when he goes, now check it. When he goes to L.A., he's saying that, well, I'm totally happy to help you with wildfire aid, that, you know, your Democrat leadership caused it to be this bad. But he said, before we do that, though, he goes, quote, I don't know if we have this audio just yet, but I'll tell you his quote. He says, I want to see two things in Los Angeles. Voter ID so the people have a chance to vote. And I want to see the water be released and come down into L.A. throughout the state. He's like, those are just two things. He wants them done before federal aid. The voter ID, Kane, the voter ID, are they, are they going to do that? Are they going to do the voter ID to get the federal aid? I mean, doesn't that
Starting point is 01:14:38 seem like the most simple thing that you could do? I'm just saying, seems like it. Yeah, go ahead. Let me see. city policy? I want to see two things in Los Angeles. Voter ID so that the people have a chance to vote. And I want to see the water be released and come down into Los Angeles and throughout the state. Those are the two things.
Starting point is 01:15:01 After that I will be the greatest president that California has ever seen. I want the water to come down and come down to Los Angeles and also go out to all the farmland that's barren and dry. You know, they have land that they say is the equivalent of the land in Iowa, which is about as good as there is anywhere in earth. The problem is it's artificial because they artificially stop the water from going on to the land. So I want two things. I want voter ID for the people of California. They all want it. Right now you have no you don't have voter ID. People want to have voter identification. You want to have proof of citizenship. Ideally,
Starting point is 01:15:43 you have one day voting. But I just want voter ideas to start. And I want the water to be released, and they're going to get a lot of help from the U.S. Thank you very much. I'll see you. That's, I mean, that's like the, because the water being released helps them. Voter ID helps them. Wow. Where's the problem?
Starting point is 01:16:06 Kane, odds on, we're in Vegas. Yeah. Odds on Newsom complaining about this. Oh my gosh. 100% odds. I haven't seen a response yet. I mean, this was something that Trump just said, so I haven't seen a response from Newsom yet. That's going to be interesting, though, because you saw the same headlines, although I only saw it a couple different places, and it was sources say, so it didn't say it was confirmed officially.
Starting point is 01:16:29 But wasn't there the narrative that he was considering just like ghosting POTUS when POTUS got to California? Like the governor of California was just like not going to show up out of spite. What the hell kind of leadership is that? The people that didn't want to politicize this are doing that, just to put it in perspective. Yeah, I don't know. It's so frustrating. This is so incredibly frustrating. Between this and people who are fighting these cabinet nominees, done with it, done with it. So that's pretty, I mean, that's pretty significant. I would like to see for that to happen. I hope that they can get that happening. So we'll see all that. I got to take a quick step away from the meat and potatoes. We have an issue here, Kane. We have an issue. So. What is it? Okay, so you guys know I've got a rescue pup, right? My pup, Wick, who's part Belgian Malinua and part Rhodesian Ridgeback and all sweetness
Starting point is 01:17:24 and kindness and insanity. So he's staying with his nana, right? He's, Nana is sitting for Wick. Can I read? Gosh, please don't kill me. She can't reach me. I'm in Vegas. Protect me.
Starting point is 01:17:40 This is what she texts me. She asked me, she was like, do you have Disney Plus? I'm like, I don't think we got Disney Plus. I'm pretty sure. I think we canceled that after the Gina Carano thing. And then she goes, she goes, well, I looked. And she goes, I think you have to sign in so we don't have an account. We did cancel it. She goes, but that is okay.
Starting point is 01:17:56 This is legit what she texted me. I saw where they were saying the cartoon bluey is the cartoon that dogs like to watch because they like the colors. Dogs only see black and white. I haven't told her this yet. Because they like the colors and they like it because it's a cartoon of dogs. She's like, but I did find where it's
Starting point is 01:18:14 a regular station and right now it's kittens he seems to like it doesn't blue we have that trans character on there my mom is gonna make my dog watch trans cartoon dogs on Disney why is it Paw Patrol on somewhere I don't know didn't Paul Patrol get off Rudy too did they I don't know I don't know but she was asking me I know blue he did because that was a headline and that's how I know that because she sits with them Nanna sits with them and they watch animal videos That woman will sit there and they will watch videos of like penguins or if you're Benedict Cumberbatch, penglings, all kinds of stuff.
Starting point is 01:18:52 She's asking me about blueish. So I got to intervene because she's like, oh, he likes the colors. And I'm like, Mom, Dr. Colorblind. The colorblind. So, Nana's. Is she know how to get on YouTube? I'm sure she does. I'm terrified for her to get on YouTube.
Starting point is 01:19:05 It's Nana. Dog video style stuff on YouTube. All you have to do is, you know, search it. I am terrified is what her to get on there. Who knows what she'll type? I don't know. Get worried with Nana. So I'm going to have to intervene and prevent the trans indoctrination of my dog
Starting point is 01:19:21 because Nana's going to have him watch Bluey. So I had to, I had to, because that all happened, like, right when I'm getting ready to go on air. And I'm like, no. Honestly, I'm pretty confident WIC won't fall for any of it. You think? He's smart dog. No, I'm confident. He didn't really have time for that nonsense.
Starting point is 01:19:34 He won't be effective. Yeah, I'm pretty sure he doesn't like communists either. No. Yeah. There's a... He's good. Yeah, I'm pretty sure I don't like communists either. All right.
Starting point is 01:19:42 So I had to share that with you because here's a story that's funny. You're ready? Meta is having to scramble to fix AI chat bots that are still calling Biden the president. They said that the AI bots across Facebook were still telling inquisitive users that Biden is president. And they said the current president of the United States is Joe Biden. So now they're trying to get it to incorporate that Trump was sworn in on January, 20th. I thought AI was smart, King.
Starting point is 01:20:19 Yeah. I think it's only as smart as its inputs and the people doing those inputs. So that's where we are. Smart or partisan. Although being super partisan is dumb, so I don't know. But that struck me because AI, I mean, it pulls from a number of different
Starting point is 01:20:36 resources, so it should automatically be able to compute and know that. Well, at least that's what they've told us how AI computes. We don't know for sure. How much you want to bet AI is just a big old Martian in the sky. It's all the Martians that are. That's what those drones are.
Starting point is 01:20:51 I'm sure. It's pre-programmed stuff on levels like that so that AI just gives it out based on its programming. But you're right. The update is definitely necessary. Hamas is also about to announce the, I think they're announcing the fate of the Bebus toddlers and the parents. Do you guys remember one of the videos? It was one of the light-haired mothers and she had two redheaded. children. One was a baby and one was a toddler, four and eight months old at the time when they
Starting point is 01:21:19 were taken into custody. Shiri Beavis and her and their children, they were taken from their home. And her parents were murdered by Hamas. They were taken into captivity and they were murdered. And the dad was released, but the wife and the babies were not. And there's all kinds of stories as to what they think happened. There were, there's video excerpts or there's video clips out there showing them, taking her into custody with the kids. And at one point, Hamas released a video of the dad, Yarden,
Starting point is 01:21:58 and they told him that his family had been murdered, but yet it believed, it was believed that, you know, that they were still alive. So, I don't know, this is like part of those hostage deals and there, and this was the baby eight months old was the youngest in captivity. So he celebrated both his first and second birthday in captivity. He has been in Hamas captivity longer than he's been alive. Or as, or for longer, sorry, longer than he's been with his parents.
Starting point is 01:22:27 He's been with Hamas for longer than he's been with his parents. I can't even imagine if he's even still alive, what, I mean, wow. And that was one of the most. I think viral videos that came out of that because the mom was terrified and she's clinging to her four-year-old and you know she's wearing her eight-month-old and the kids had no idea what was happening. They were kind of looking around and she was holding both of them and she was petrified. I mean, I mean, it's just, it's a mother's worst nightmare. And it's been this long and there's no word except they were trying to, I guess, sigh up the dad and torture the dad by saying that the family. was killed. Holy wow. So that's, we'll get some more information about that, but that was,
Starting point is 01:23:19 they were announcing that today. And I don't know, that's, if they're not alive, holy cow, because they ended up being kind of like the representation of all of the hostages that were taken, because so many children were taken, so many young women were taken, so many young men were taken, and older, you know, elderly men and women, there was like no discrimination. They just wanted Israelis. That's all they wanted. They wanted Jewish people and they took them into custody. They just kidnapped them. But I can't imagine the baby. I mean, and even if the baby is alive, you know how malnourish that baby is. Two years old. No doctor's visits. Nothing. No, I mean, it's just horrific. What we're supposed to, we're supposed to find out today about that. And POTIS has been pretty hardcore saying they, they, they, they were.
Starting point is 01:24:09 will be released and these were the ones that I think that the Israeli government and POTUS were pressuring in addition to U.S. hostages. You know, let the babies go. I mean, let them go. Come on. There's stop this. Starting point is 01:25:34 accurate. A review says. Someone else, though, said it was highly inaccurate. And I don't know. DHS said that they had self-identified black volunteers that participated in it, and they had the lowest face matching success rate of any demo with an overall accuracy of 98%. And that the technologies that they're using to verify, they said that they're trying to make, you know, when you go now, you can, a lot of them, they just take a picture of your face as you're boarding. And now it's supposed to, it's not that accurate though. They're trying to make you feel comfortable and they're trying to say that it's accurate. But isn't this basically like the red light camera of identification? So, oh man, I've got questions. All right, moving on. This, oh goodness,
Starting point is 01:26:18 your next spirit airline's flight, if you have offensive tattoos and see through clothing, you could get kicked off. I don't know why people try, I don't like the idea of dressing up like a hobo to get on a plane. Like, I don't want to see your ripped sweats. I don't want to see, like you don't need to be wearing leggings. Leggings ain't pants, right? You don't need to be wearing leggings. You don't need to be wearing crop tops. You know, cover your ass for crying out loud. You know, you're getting on a plane. Just like make it nice for other people. But they said Spirit Airlines might have to. The tattoos thing I don't get. But can see, like I guess if people are barefoot, they said, or if their clothing is lewd or obscene, then they...
Starting point is 01:26:54 Oh my gosh. If you're barefoot and you try to get on a plane, I'm going to cut your feet off. You don't even get a chance to put shoes on. We're just going to cut them right off because that's nasty with a capital, nah. It's gross. Also, let's see, quick headlines. Buckees is suing. Ooh, it's a Buckees fight. It's a beaver fight.
Starting point is 01:27:14 Buckees is suing North Texas, a North Texas-based gas station chain over trademark infringement. It's called Superfuels. Superfuels is also using a beaver. Well, they said it's an anthropomorphic. dog. It looks like a beaver. And that Bucky says it's a complete copy of their Buckey's beaver. So the courts are going to they're going to duke it out in the courts. Oregon DMV is
Starting point is 01:27:42 closing its East Portland location. After complaints to the landlord included quote sewage smells, sporadic water pressure and all kinds of maintenance problems. I mean, it is a federal government office. So it makes sense that it smells like, well, you know what I mean. I don't even like the fact that they're a DMV and they have to, they have a landlord. Like they're a government agency and they have some sort of landlord. Like how do they not buy that building themselves?
Starting point is 01:28:08 Yeah, that's actually a good point. That's actually a good point. Let's see. The Associator Press says it's going to change Mount Denali to Mount McKinley, but it's not going to honor Gulf of America. The Associated Press. That's all right. I'm honoring it.
Starting point is 01:28:22 Yeah, you guys can say Gulf of Mexico. I want, I'm going to say Gulf of America. don't understand the Denali McKinley thing. They said they're renaming Denali to Mount McKinley because that's apparently one of the, that was an edict from Trump and EO. But they said that they are not going to honor anything related to Mexico or international bodies. And they said the Gulf of Mexico has carried that in from more than 400 years, etc. Oh my gosh, just call it Gulf of America, you dim wits. What's the big deal? Just stop. It's, they just want to fight. Additionally, let's see here. Canada wants to help restart.
Starting point is 01:28:56 the Keystone XL pipeline. That's very good news, right, as we're unleashing energy and going to be resurrecting our economy, the premier of Alberta Canada, said they would like to restart conversations with the Trump administration about re-approving the Keystone XL pipeline. Because remember, they decommissioned it, and then they began deconstructing the actual pipeline and take it to dig it up. They were digging parts of it up. So that would be great if we could get something like that back in action and re-implement that. And that's actually, I think it's been what, decommissioned out for a couple of years, but they were, I mean, it's like one of the easiest ways to get crewed down to Houston where it needs to go. And they've been very respectful of the land.
Starting point is 01:29:35 This is just environmental nonsense. We have a lot more on the way. Coming up, NSSF's Larry Keene joins us. Stick with us. Our partners, this is an interesting partner because when they first came up to me, I was like, let's talk a little bit. I, because I'm always going to tell people, I'm going to carry. I have no problem using the lethal force to protect myself from my loved ones. I train.
Starting point is 01:29:53 I know the drill. But I have friends, like I have a very good friend who's very conservative. She works in the press court in Washington, D.C. She got one of the very difficult to get licensed to carry there, but she can't carry anywhere. One of the things she can do, though, and she went out and got this, is a burner gun. It's a non-firearm firearm. Burna S.D. is the most popular model. It shoots chemical irritant projectiles that can deter threats from up to 50 feet away.
Starting point is 01:30:16 I just think it's all, you got knives. You know, everybody gets blades. You get, you know, different kinds of calibers. It's always good to diversify your weapons, your self-defense array. And that's what Berna is there to offer, like another option so that you are not left defense list. They don't care about gun-free zone signs, no background checks, no waiting period, ships right to your door. This is the perfect time to take inventory of your self-defense options. And by the way, speaking of you and you've done a fantastic job, but I hope you start opening your bank to conservatives because many conservatives complained that the banks are not allowing them to do business within the bank, and that included a place called Bank of America. They don't take conservative business. Welcome back to the program. That was POTUS. And he's talking about Bank of America and the unfriendly practices that we've seen in the banking
Starting point is 01:31:22 industry against not just conservatives, but gun owners and I mean, pretty much anybody who is not, you know, an anti-gun communist. I don't really don't know how else to put it. It sounds like, you know, very just broad, but it is what it is. Welcome back, Dana last year. We're broadcasting from the Keltuck booth at NSF, the annual industry event National Shooting Sports Foundation. And we're here with the head of it all, Mr. NSF himself, Larry Keane. How are you, my friend? Busy but good. Busy but good. I'm doing quite well. And this, this, what POTUS was talking about just then in this audio clip. I know you couldn't hear because you didn't have your your phones on, but you got an idea. I mean, he's, he was talking about, you know, Bank
Starting point is 01:31:57 of America needs to be a little nicer to conservatives. And really the finance industry needs to be a little nicer to gun owners in general. Well, yeah, and they're in for a rude awakening because I'm so happy to hear the president talk about this and make this a priority because it is a real problem. It's been going on since back in the Obama administration with Operation Choke Point where the FDIC the Department of Justice and others put pressure on the banks to debank and refuse to do, provide financial services and banking services to a variety of industries, including the firearms industry because we were politically incorrect. We were able to, we thought, get that stopped
Starting point is 01:32:39 with the help of Congress, in particular former Congressman Luke De Meyer was really a big champion. Now we saw it privatized during the Biden administration. where it continue to happen with banks like Bank of America, JP Morgan, City Bank and a lot of Wells Fargo and a lot of the other big banks, refusing to do business with people in the industry, closing accounts, not explaining why, or adopting these woke ESG policies.
Starting point is 01:33:09 And so we ran around the country getting FIND Act Firearms Industry Non-Discrimination Act passed in a number of states, but the conduct continues. And so, We're really glad to hear the president speak about this. And in fact, we just heard this morning, about half hour ago, that the Senate Banking Committee, chaired by Senator Scott from South Carolina, is going to have a hearing in Senate banking on the 5th, Tuesday the 5th,
Starting point is 01:33:39 about debanking. So, you know, they are turning up the heat, which is fantastic. We need to see the new administration put out the Office of the Comptroller, control of the currency OCC final rule that was pending as a final rule when Biden came in and he pulled the plug on it that you know we want the Trump administration and blow the dust off that final rule and publish it that will go a long way to stopping this and we need to see the fair access to banking legislation that's been introduced by Senator Kramer and Congressman Andy Barr from
Starting point is 01:34:12 Kentucky in the House we want to see that it's going to be reintroduced very shortly We hope we'll have north of 40 co-sponsors in the Senate, and we want that to be the centerpiece of the hearing, and we certainly want to see that happening. Essentially codify the rule, but we need to go further. There's more things that can be done. And we've heard the administration, and the president speak about this, reigning in the bank regulators, stopping them from imposing these woke policies.
Starting point is 01:34:39 You know, you have a quote-unquote reputational risk, which is just, you know, semantics for saying, we don't like you, we don't like the products you make, We don't like your industry. You're politically disfavored. You're not, you know, you're not one of the cool kids. So we're going to cut you off from banking services and try to snuff out an entire legal industry. That's based around a natural right, which is the weirdest thing to me.
Starting point is 01:35:00 That's exactly right. So, you know, it's inappropriate for banks to be making these woke policy decisions. You're supposed to be making financial decisions based on the numbers, you know, real credit risk, not on, you know, woke policies, which is what's been going on. So, you know, the banks were bailed out by the taxpayers in 08. They can't operate without taxpayer-funded services like the automated clearinghouse FDIC insurance. So, you know, if they violate the OCC rule or they violate the fair access to banking, if it becomes enacted, they're cut off from these taxpayer-funded services. And they can't operate without them. So I like hearing that. I, that's...
Starting point is 01:35:45 That's significant because we haven't seen that kind of, I don't think I recall seeing that kind of movement towards eliminating that like this. That's what's behind the fair access to banking. And it's interesting to now hear that, you know, the cryptocurrency people are now experiencing this. The same exact thing. It's like, you know, I feel bad for him, but welcome to my world. Yeah, you've been dealing with it for a little bit. We've been the tip of the spear. You have been.
Starting point is 01:36:13 And you would think we're talking with Larry Keene, who is with National Shooting Sports, Sports Foundation in SSF. They put on Shot Show this industry event every year. And they were very kind and helping make my Snow White Box happen. So we're very grateful. Thank you for joining me in the Snow White and the Seven White and the World Cup. Look to have you here. Yeah. With everything that's redefined in terms of applying the status of a protected class to every different group, it almost seems like you kind of need to do the same with gun owners and manufacturers at this point. Yeah, I mean, you know, they're a protected class.
Starting point is 01:36:42 We are protected. The constant, look, there are. There are probably two products that are protected by the Constitution, firearms and the press. Oh yeah, yeah. And so we are a constitutionally protected industry because without our industry, you know, the ability to exercise your Second Amendment rights, you know, it just becomes illusory. Yeah, exactly. So, you know, Heller has said there can be some regulation, but you can't stop us. There's a limit. Very big limit.
Starting point is 01:37:12 I thought Scalia was very explicit on that. Yes. limitation and I mean he even went back to I think what did he cite of friding back in the colonies times like he went he went he went beside deep dive yeah he was I love that was one of my favorite opinions of his talking with Larry Keene everybody's happy it seems like everybody's in a great mood here because we had the election in November but sometimes I get worried and I'm I'm a little bit of a cynic and I'm always waiting for the shoe to drop and I'm always I want to get ahead of something bad and sometimes when you control
Starting point is 01:37:45 all three branches, that kind of can be the most dangerous time. And I say that because not every R is the same as you know. Oh, no. And sometimes bad decisions can be made. And then the context in which they're made, like a majority, that can, it's almost like it sanctions it. And it makes it doubly hard to repeal. Well, let me just say, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't really out to get you. Oh, I know. They totally are. I'm not paranoid. I'm just observant. But yeah, I mean, I've spent a lot of time since the election and certainly here at Chachow, trying to manage people's expectations about what is possible. What's that like?
Starting point is 01:38:21 Well, if I had a nickel for every time I said 53 is less than 60, you know, I'd have a lot of money. So, you know, there are limitations on what can be achieved legislatively. The House majority right now is 217 to 215. You lose one, you know, moderate, rhino, Republican, and the tie goes to the Democrats. right so now you're not going to see you know substantive legislation good or bad be able to move in congress the things at the margins perhaps conservation things that are bipartisan so let's so the
Starting point is 01:38:59 focus is on on the executive branch and what can be achieved through policy changes through regulation through repealing regulations repealing policies like zero tolerance and restoring things at ATF to the way they were, you know, repealing this outrageous engaged in the business rule that far exceeds what was enacted in the Bipartisan Safer Community Act, which was literally a very minor tweak to make it consistent with how the courts it interpreted. And in fact, I will share with your audience when that was all being negotiated, I am told by people from on the Republican side that Senator Murphy said, this is garbage, it doesn't do anything. thing. And now, of course, he touts it like it's some major thing. He loves it. Yeah, he loves it now.
Starting point is 01:39:49 So, I mean, that's been enjoying by the courts, but that's just like, let's not leave it to the court. Let's just repeal that and get rid of it because it's not consistent with the law. So what does a new administration mean for, like for, and I realize that these lawsuits probably have to play out, like, for instance, in Chicago, uh, with the ATF. And the story was, obviously, you know, this, but for the people watching or listening that, you know, Kamala Harris and her White House office of gun violence, whatever, that they were working with the ATF in the city of Chicago to go out for Glock? They absolutely were.
Starting point is 01:40:21 And how does, so with the elimination of these offices and how did, how does that change that dynamic? What does that do? Well, it's a good question. And we want to see the House oversight investigation that had begun and the last Congress continued because there were subpoenas served on the White House and ATF for documents about this collusion between the White House Office of Second Amendment suppression. I'm sorry. Oh, yeah. I think you're right. It's a verbal typo, but it's accurate. And so as you know,
Starting point is 01:40:49 that office was staffed by the former top federal lobbyist for every time, Rob Wilcox, and they were in direct conversations with every town. And that led to the lawsuit, this frivolous lawsuit against Glock that somehow blaming them because criminals illegally obtained, illegally imported or made these switches and illegally install them on firearms, illegally manufactured a machine gun. It's like changing the muffler out or taking the muffler off your car because it's louder than the manufacturer of the car is responsible. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:41:21 So it's a frivolous lawsuit. Glock is trying to get the case dismissed, but now we've seen other lawsuits against Glock on the same sort of theory. New Jersey, Minnesota, there's 15 other state Democrat AGs threatening to sue Block. we need to get that stopped. But yeah, I mean, there's absolutely collusion. We want to see that continue. We want that exposed because, you know, the way we figured it out was that Feinberg, the head of every town,
Starting point is 01:41:48 on the day that they sued Glock, on behalf of Chicago, tweeted about how Glock had refused the White House's request to change their design. And how would they know that except having a conversation with somebody in the White House? And who? Rob Wilcox. Fascinating. That's very interesting. You get your work cut out for you. You know, people, oh, like, yeah, I mean, so you must be breathing a sigh or leave. No, I'm actually busier than before. All that's happened is like, you know, get the defense off the field, get the offense on the field.
Starting point is 01:42:20 Yep, that's it, you know. And so we're going to, you know, we have a long list of things we want to achieve, certainly on the executive branch. But, you know, you have to prioritize your priorities. You can't do everything. And, you know, So we're working on that. They're, you know, like repealing this BIS policy to stop exports. We want to get suppressors off the USML. They don't belong there. We want to get ATF fixed and back on the right course. We want to make sure we get a good, solid.
Starting point is 01:42:49 I'm going to ask you a controversial question. Sure. Because there's some other who say, well, you can't fix the ATF. Well, I mean, look, we take an act of Congress to do away with ATF. And I just don't. Be a great retail store. I don't see that, who brought the chips, yeah. I don't see that passing Congress, right?
Starting point is 01:43:09 Like, you're not going to get all Republicans to vote for that in the House. You may not get national reciprocity. I don't think that passes. I don't think that will pass right now. Maybe, maybe the House. It's not going to pass the Senate, I don't think. Now, have we gotten to 55 in the Senate? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:43:25 Right? In Arizona and Nevada, if we had then gotten luckier in Wisconsin and Michigan, we've at 57. Now you can have a conversation about getting to 60. But at 53, you know, we're not knocking on the door. We're standing at the end of the driveway. But that doesn't mean we don't keep pushing. You keep trying them. Absolutely. You have to because eventually we'll get there. Yeah. Or maybe the court will, you know, eventually strike down challenges on interstate traveling with firearms. Oh, yeah. Just like, you know, you can't buy a handgun across state lines. you know, the constant, the Second Amendment rights don't stop at your state border.
Starting point is 01:44:03 Your Fourth Amendment rights, your Fifth Amendment rights, your First Amendment rights don't stop at your border. That's a problem. Like when we were born and raised in Missouri and you go through Illinois and you have to have your ammo and you have to have your ammo to go. And you got to do it for you cross into the state. It's kind of annoying. And, you know, the gangbangers always. It's what they do completely. They follow those laws, as you know. So, you know, I mean, so. But as we know, all these gun control laws only impact the law-abiding citizen who's not the problem, right?
Starting point is 01:44:33 Rank and file law enforcement all across this country. They know that. They understand that. They don't believe in this stuff. But it's all political. And it's driven by, you know, blue Democrat states and cities like Chicago. I feel like we've come a long way because, you know, to get something like reciprocity, I mean, not only to have a president of the United States say that he wants to sign it. and then for it to get this far is just a big difference because, I mean, I remember when they couldn't even get it out of committee.
Starting point is 01:45:02 So, you know, this is pretty, it's pretty significant. Look, I mean, passing major legislation takes many, many, many years, you know, seven, eight, ten. You have to, you know, the other side never stops. We can never stop. We must be vigilant and persistent. And eventually we will prevail. We will. And we will.
Starting point is 01:45:22 I mean, we have, you know, the constitution on our side and we have, you know, the constitution on our side. and we have common sense on our side. The other side talks about, you know, common nonsense gun control, but like, you know, so. I like that. Larry King, you do such a very good job, and I know it's like hurting cats sometimes. I know. But appreciate it because one of the reasons that we're able to exercise so freely as we do our Second Amendment rights is because the work that you and your organization have put into it. So we're grateful. Well, I appreciate those kind words.
Starting point is 01:45:48 Thank you very much. It's a privilege and an honor to have this job and to fight this fight. You're a good man for it. pharmacy, you just need to bookmark this website. Starting point is 01:49:33 Our broadcast is complete this week in Vegas. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your night. Have a great weekend. And we'll be back together on Monday from Dallas. God bless.
