Starting point is 00:00:00 Donald Trump, Greg Abbott, Ken Paxton, they said they wanted a showdown. And guess what? That's exactly what they're getting a showdown. This is not the Democratic Party of your grandfather, right, which would bring a pencil to a knife fight. We're bringing a knife to a knife fight. We're going to fight fire with fire. And we're going to do everything we can right now to stand up against this unconstitutional power grab by the Republicans. Make no mistake about it. Well, this is so I'm just drag them back and throw them in jail.
Starting point is 00:00:29 I'm done playing at this point. I don't care. Send armed guards and we'll show them what all this looks like. I'm just done with this. I want, you know, we work our asses off only to have these welfare grifters run away because they didn't win elections. And that's, you know, ultimately the real problem of this is they didn't win elections. They did not win elections. And so this idea that this has been gerrymandered is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. And it's said by people who clearly are not paying attention what's happening in Texas. And I would wager that they're not paying attention to anything that's happening, you know, anywhere else either. I mean, you have this issue of these five districts, and we've talked about it at length. You've had these issue of these five districts. And these districts, they desperately need to be reapportioned. and this is something that happens every 10 years every 10 years they deal with the redistricting every 10 years this happens without fail every 10 years it's not unconstitution well no i mean it's
Starting point is 00:01:43 literally part of texas's state constitution if people really you know really want to dive into it it's part of the the state constitution of texas every state has the ability to make that determination and apportioned things based on their population, because states control all of that. That's how it's been from the beginning. States control it. And so what you have here are Democrats that are, I mean, if you want to have a discussion about who's acting
Starting point is 00:02:15 within the bounds of the Constitution, I would argue that dereliction of duty as a way of preserving power, that's not in key. not constitutional by by the state's constitution or otherwise not even remotely so this is the problem here these these and the people who repeat these lies you're not helping voters you're not helping your side either uh all it's doing is delaying the inevitable and the inevitable is this reapportionment of this district this adjustment of this district you know i'll tell you when I lived in St. Louis
Starting point is 00:02:57 and we moved down here in 2013 we were in and I came were you in this district were you in the third congressional district? In here? No no no St. Louis. Okay yeah all right so we were actually in the same area
Starting point is 00:03:13 so we had oh my gosh bear with me it's I haven't had enough caffeine today oh my gosh I can't continue until I know it's Russ Carnahan we had Russ Carnahan as our representative. And the district was changing pretty dramatically.
Starting point is 00:03:32 There were a lot of new people that were moving in. You know, it was sort of moving into this district because there was a lot of rehabbing and things like that. It was like one of those cities or one of those neighborhoods that was on its way back. And so they had to adjust. But we also lost a lot of people. So the boundaries had to change. And so one of the things that ended up happening is they re-apportioned. They adjusted what the district, the boundaries of the district were.
Starting point is 00:04:09 And I was actually trying to look up what it previously was because we were in the third congressional district and we had Russ Carnahan. And I knew him. I didn't know him, but I knew of him very well because he was there during the whole Kenneth Gladney thing, during the days of the Tea Party, et cetera. And he was really bad. I mean, he was just a really bad lawmaker. His dad was Mel Carnahan, who was the Democrat governor of Missouri, who was killed in a plane crash. And some of you guys might remember, it was his wife, Gene, that ran in his, that basically took his seat over. After he, after he won his race, he was running for Senate, from after being the governor, he was running for Senate. And Gene Carnahan took him.
Starting point is 00:04:54 his seat over. And everybody was kind of up in arms about it, except Democrats, because they just love power. So anyway, Russ Carnahan, that's his legacy. So he could do whatever he wanted, right? He was the crown prince of the Democrat Party, Missouri. He was taking over the third congressional district in Missouri, which was a very, kind of a purpleish, more blue than red, urban district. Well, then so many people began leaving the city. The area was being gentrified, which was. which led a lot of people to assume that they were getting more people moving in instead of fewer people, but everybody was like leaving to go out to the county. And so they had to readjust that district.
Starting point is 00:05:35 So they did away with it and it actually became part of the second congressional district, which was Republican. It was split between the first and congressional districts. The first congressional district was, it's north side, downtown St. Louis and Northside, historically Democrat district. I mean, five generations, Democrat without nothing to show for it. And then the second congressional district, which was Republican, and I think Ann Wagner represents that district now. Lacey Clay did the first congressional district. Anne Wagner represented the second. And a lot of people were livid because the adjustment of that district gave a lot more power to that second district, the, with, you know, doing away of the third.
Starting point is 00:06:16 So the second actually got bigger. And Democrats were livid because they assumed that that should, That's something that should go to the first congressional district. I ended up being pushed in the first, which was horrible because I ended up getting pushed in with all of the Democrat rats. So my point in giving and saying the story is that Democrats only complained a little bit because they thought the first congressional district should have absorbed all of that instead of the second. But otherwise, you know, I mean, my point is that it happens all the damn time. Every election year, if there's some state that comes up where it's been about a decade so they need to readjust, you know, what their district is, that's, you know, normal. That's what Texas is doing here. And these districts, especially some of the ones that are
Starting point is 00:06:59 around San Antonio, that are near and outside of Houston. I mean, I don't know if you've seen the one, it's Dan Crenshaw's district. It's literally a circle. It's like a spiral. It's a spiral that literally goes around Houston. It's weird. Have you seen that district came? That is the most jacked up district ever. That's one of the districts that they're throwing up. That's where also overlaps with Dan Crenshaw Senate District. It's a crazy. looking district. And the way that they have it, the way that they have these districts set up, I don't even know how you, how you think you're getting any kind of fair, equal representation out of it. You're just not. And so this whole thing is about the proper adjustment of this district.
Starting point is 00:07:40 But you have Democrats that are mad because they're so bad at winning elections. They're so bad at winning elections that literally the only way for them to preserve power is by denying equal representation to voters in these growing and changing districts by refusing to adjust them accordingly to their respective growing populations. And so now because you're having more voters in these districts that are voting Republican than not, Democrats are livid and they don't want, they don't want those districts to be adjusted because they don't want the real is, they don't want those voters votes to be realized. Those voters are predominantly. Republican and they don't want that. But instead of winning elections, they're just not, they're going
Starting point is 00:08:24 to refuse to allow them equal representation. That's the reality of it. So, I mean, they can sit here and say whatever they want, but that's the, that's, that's the absolute truth of it. And I don't care about any of their protestations as it relates to, as it relates to really gerrymandering, period, especially when they go and run off to Illinois. I mean, how are you running off to Illinois while you're complaining about gerrymandering. It doesn't make any sense. It's assonine. So this, you know, this whole thing is it's a stunt for them. Yes. It's a stunt. It's a stupid stunt nonetheless, but it's a stunt. And I think it's only going to work with low info voters. Honestly, I think it's only going to work with low info voters. So the Texas House has issued arrest,
Starting point is 00:09:19 for all this stuff. We talked about this yesterday. They've issued arrest warrants. And the, uh, we're going to see what happens, though. We'll see what happens. So that's some of the latest with that. Welcome to the show, by the way. Dana Lash with you. We're at the top of this first hour. And a couple of other things to discuss. Uh, let's hit number one, because I just want to get number one right off the plate. Uh, I disagree with us. Go ahead and hit it. Trump. Nice to see you got off. the roof all right? Yeah, yeah. You said this morning that you probably won't be running for a third term. This weekend, Secretary of State Rubio said that he thought J.D. Vance would be a great nominee.
Starting point is 00:10:02 You could clear the entire Republican field right now. Do you agree that the air apparent to MAGA is J.D. Vance? Well, I think most likely, in all fairness, he's the vice president. I think Marco is also somebody that maybe would get together with J.D. in some form. I also think we have incredible people, some of the people on the stage right here. So it's too early, obviously, to talk about it. But certainly he's doing a great job and he would be probably favored at this point. No, he's great at where he is right now, but that's where his political life extends. I will never be able to be on board with Marco Rubio for a very big reason. I was there at Parkland, behind backstage, watching.
Starting point is 00:10:43 I was going out right after him. And he was so overwhelmed by the crowd that he caved on. gun rights, promised to give them universal background checks, promised to listen to them when they talked about banning assault weapons. I saw it. It was live on television. He completely crumbled on that stage. He completely crumbled. And it made it part of it, part of the reason I'm against it is because he made that job of defending Second Amendment rights. And what people don't realize is when all of that was unfolding on stage at Parkland, there was a bill in the House committee that was getting ready to go. I mean, Republicans were overwhelmingly, they were getting ready to pass it.
Starting point is 00:11:19 were about to cave on the Second Amendment. There was a bill in committee. And I have never felt such pressure in my life. I watched him just fold on stage. And he said, yes, I agree. He co-signed with Red Flag Law and he co-signed Universal Background Checks because the crowd wanted it. And then when he caved and took a knee in front of him,
Starting point is 00:11:43 oh, they everybody cheered. So I have seen what happens when he is in a very tough spot, not a cushy diplomatic job, a very tough spot, and he caved. I watched it happen live. And I had to go out after him and defend the Second Amendment after the so-called Republican member of Congress failed to do it adequately on stage before me. And I will keep reminding people of this. I get it that people have very short memories, but dear God, people, stop sending gun control. lawmakers and floating them as the next Messiah, please dear God. Starting point is 00:13:54 All right. So first up, wait, I didn't even roll this. So Ozzy Osbourne's cause of death, why this is not surprising, was revealed. And it was myocardial infarction. I mean, he had heart issues. That's why. So they're canceling Howard Stern Show because no one wants to hear an old lady sit here and yell on air. I'm sorry, old man yell on air the way he does.
Starting point is 00:14:15 also I think that just his style nobody's interested he's like sleazy I don't know I've never I had friends who liked him and I never understood that I could never listen to him I really don't like listening to commentary I just come out here every day and hang out with you I don't think that what I do is commentary because I just literally come and hang out it's weird so I just have never gotten into his stuff right you have you came did you ever get into his stuff yeah there's a time I worked for several radio stations where he was like the satellite did in morning show for that station. That's so weird to me. That's such a, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:14:50 Oh my gosh, I really am trying to figure out how to read this one to you. Okay, so they found a big-o-giant sex doll in an Idaho River. Cops spent three hours searching for a body because they got a call that. Somebody said, there's a body in the river. Caribou County. I mean, what a little cutie little name for a county. Caribou County. So cutie.
Starting point is 00:15:07 These deputies, like, searched for three hours, and then they finally pulled it up, according to what reports. deputies said that they thought they were looking for human remains in the Blackfoot River. And then it was in Soda Springs. They had a full-on drone search. And then they finally found the body. And it was a sex doll. That's what happened.
Starting point is 00:15:23 So somebody's camping got a little crazy. It's another reason why don't camp. It's glorified. You know, it's another reason. Another reason. Let's see. Also, now they need to stop throwing female intimate items under the courts at WNBA games. That's something that's happening, too.

I think what they're doing is the highest form of public service.
Starting point is 00:16:53 They're trying to stop the consolidation of authoritarian power in America. Oh my gosh. As Trump and Greg Abbott and Ken Paxson and Republicans in Texas, thick as thieves, try to steal these five seats in Texas. That's not how this works, but I wouldn't understand a Nepo baby, a drunken nepo baby who wants to try to flee. a hit and run scene. That's true. He caused a hit and run accident and then he tried to flee. But it was really helpful that his daddy was the judge, the same daddy that gave him the nickname
Starting point is 00:17:22 Beto because he thought it would play well to Hispanic voters, or at least so he told the Dallas Morning News back some years ago. So I wouldn't expect this like do nothing slacker who doesn't work, who can't keep a job unless it's his wife's family generously offering to employ him. so it lessens the sting of the wife being married to a lazy layabout. I really don't really want to hear his just absolutely idiotic analysis of what he thinks the issue is. I mean, it's like asking Dylan Mulvaney to break down quantitative easing, asking him serious issues on this. Beto O'Rourke was a bookmark. He was a tool that Democrats were using to cede the ground and get voters in Texas.
Starting point is 00:18:06 and he actually like forgot what the game was. The game was for him to just register voters. And he started believing the manufactured hype about himself. And now he thinks he's really something. That's not what any of this is. These people that are fleeing, it's a dereliction of duty. I hope they're arrested. I hope they're all, they all ought to be removed.
Starting point is 00:18:26 In any other job, if you run away from your responsibilities like that, you're fired. But why are we tolerating it for these lawmakers in Texas? because they're Democrats, because they're entitled brats, win more elections, brats. Instead of running away, maybe win some more elections. It's not difficult. That's the real issue here. Instead, we're all being kneecapped. And it doesn't help that.
Starting point is 00:18:51 No, I'm not letting Republicans off the hook either because we shouldn't even be having property tax fights in a special session. That's something that should have already been done. And we should have already had relief. But too many of them are cowards. And so now we're in this position. And they don't make a mistake. Republicans in Texas are really focusing on this because they want to be absolved of their refusal and inability to bring property tax relief for everybody else. Instead, they focused all their time on THC.
Starting point is 00:19:17 Ooh, you got a bunch of people. I have no idea what the hell it is. I read something on the Twitters and it told me this. And then they think that that's, you know, gospel truth. Kill us all. They focus on that instead of property tax relief. They focus on that instead of recovery and resources for Texas Hill Country. they're looking at. And Beto wasn't done. He gets into this. This was audio soundbite 14. Again,
Starting point is 00:19:42 using words that he doesn't understand the meaning. He's saying that apparently we are going to have a dictatorship if we adjust the districts and allow for actual equal representation. I don't even know what this means. See if you can analyze this asinine response. Absolutely. You know, if we fail the consolidation of authority, power in America will be nearly unstoppable. That means more mask, plainclosed, federal agents without badges or warrants, sweeping
Starting point is 00:20:14 our fellow Americans up off the streets. It means more retribution and persecution and even violence for Trump's political opponents. They're not even putting him in good hotel rooms anymore. Like, just pause. Just keep that up there for a minute. Just pause and keep that. They're not even putting him in good hotel rooms anymore. Throw that back up there. He's like,
Starting point is 00:20:30 he's like in this cruddy hotel room. What is the view behind him? He's looking at a parking lot. There's a parking lot behind him. They don't even put him up in the nice places anymore. Look at the crappy room he's in. That's a hotel room, yeah. Either that or his wife finally, like, kicked him out and he's in his, like, bad bachelor's apartment. Maybe that's what it is. It doesn't look like Austin, though. No, it doesn't look like Austin. I don't know what it looks like, really. It's, um, yeah, I don't know what it looks like. Fort Worth, like a little part of downtown
Starting point is 00:21:00 Fort Worth? No. I don't know where he is. It looks like he's in Irving, in some office in Irving, Texas. what a bad and he doesn't even have proper life. I mean, it's just so bad. What a sad little life. Remember when he, oh, my favorite, one of my favorite Beto stories. I wrote so much about him during this whole period was when he left after, which race was it that he lost? Because he lost so many races, everything he ran for. When he ran, he originally, he was only supposed to be getting voter registrations and expanding Democrat voter registration and trying to cede the ground to help get out the vote in future elections. That's what we're going. why they did with Wendy Davis as well. They were on these floater candidates as tools, but he believed the hype. So then he lost that. Then he decided, without really them to run for another race. And he got his, the clock cleaned in that as well. And then after that, he decided to go on a road trip to like find himself. And he left his kids with his wife and just left, just left. And went on a road trip. And then he blog, here he vlogged while he was out there. He vlogged. Like, I'm out here. My wife has the kid.
Starting point is 00:22:06 just left his wife to go find himself. What a slacker. And of course, this is a guy who dressed up as a furry and played really, really bad guitar in a cringy. I don't know who's more cringy. Zohan, Mandani or him. Oh my gosh, maybe Beto and Zohan can start a really sucky band together, right? Zohan can rap and Beto O'Rourke can play like out of tune power chords on his, you know, Mexican strat. How about that? Maybe they can do that and they can have their D-Bag band. Oh my gosh. And then who else plays horribly? All the Democrats, none of them can. Oh, you know who you can get on drums.
Starting point is 00:22:41 Oh, my gosh. What's her face? Jayapal, right? No, no, no. The one that went out there banging a pot and she couldn't hold a tune in a bucket, literally the bucket she was carrying. Oh, Rashida Taleb. Yeah, Rashida Taleb can be on drums, right?
Starting point is 00:22:55 I mean, it's a couple steps down from Meg White, but hey, what's up? So they can, she can be on drums. So Rashida Tilibe's on drums. Only a couple steps. Bader or Rourke. It's like a horribly like band of stupid socialists that form a really bad like musical Voltron. I don't know what else to, how else to put it? So Rashida Tileves on drums.
Starting point is 00:23:17 And if you can find like a clip of her playing just wonderfully won, that'd be, we'd have Rashida Taleb on drums. Zohan Mandani, whatever the hell. Ma'am Danny, his name, that guy, have her on drums. We can have ma'am Donnie on, he can be. rapping on vocals, right? And then Beta or Warc can play a really bad rhythm guitar. Really bad.
Starting point is 00:23:42 Like, anyway, here's Wonderwall for the fifth time. Who else can we get in our really bad Democrat band? There's got to be more. Who else can we have? I mean, who can't do the tambourine? So like the Pete Booty Juice? No.
Starting point is 00:23:58 This is all for you. Oh, my gosh. That's for shoot-in-slaid. So there's their drums. Elizabeth Warren's got to do. some sort of. Hi-yo, what the, how you, what?
Starting point is 00:24:08 Oh, like backing vocals? Possibly. Maybe. Isn't there another one that's a really bad musician? Hang on. Don't ever go play any of the videos, by the way, of Beto O'Rourke playing music.
Starting point is 00:24:23 His, yeah. Oh, and Lorraine noted that Beto's pack was busted open by Open Secrets. Yeah, where did he get all of his money to go for, like, all of his travel. So interesting. He spent a lot of money. He spent almost every dime that he raised. I know. That's pretty hard. He'd barely had anything cash on hand at the end of it. That was his
Starting point is 00:24:46 powered by the people. That was that pack. So we can just get some of those really bad musicians. And then maybe they like to do sit-ins and stuff like that, don't they? So they can go and do a sit-in at like the capital in Austin or something like that. And then they can all have their white trust fund socialist out there and they could all clap off beat. Remember that sit-in that then convinced everyone- You got to be specific because this is all they do. I'm actually trying to be specific. Remember that sit-in that actually did something?
Starting point is 00:25:16 Because I don't. Oh, I thought you were being serious. I'm like, no. There's not been one sit-in that has ever happened. That has done anything for anyone, unfortunately. I don't think that there's like any other musicians that are in. Would you call me a magician? I'm not a no, Siki, you said you are.
Starting point is 00:25:37 It's like my favorite video ever. I don't think. What are you talking about? I don't think that's ghetto. I don't think. So, yeah, powered by the people. Also, Lorraine notes, are the ones funding Democrats travel and lodging. But how?
Starting point is 00:25:50 Because they're broke. Right. I just turned into that little stuffed animal that looks at the camera and then looks away. Ooh. Power by the people. Apparently, they're really not. Powered by the people. If you look and see what their donations are like.
Starting point is 00:26:04 like that's pretty interesting. Yeah, so they would have had to solicit then for their little stunt to flee Texas. Oh, I can't wait until they all go to jail. Oh, that's going to be so fun. So excited about that one. Anyway, my whole point of bringing all this up is that do they not have anybody else to talk about this stuff? So they have, they're sending Bader out there. Is he like trying to salt the earth or whatever to run again? What is he doing? I don't know. He's trying to run again? Is that what he's at there seeking? like television interviews? This is, I think, the political version of Democrats throwing spaghetti at the wall.
Starting point is 00:26:41 He looks like he's at a truck stop. Here, we're going to check in with Robert or Rourke, the Irishman who pretends to be Mexican. We're going to check in with him at his truck stop hotel. Well, yeah, Abby, whatever the hell your name is. I think all of the blondes that CNN are named Abby or something like that, Abigail, Abby, Abster, whatever. Well, Abster, you know, I mean, it's just like totally not fair and stuff. You know, I mean, it's a dictatorship in that, right? So you're saying it's a dictatorship that more people are moving into an area and voting for one particular party?
Starting point is 00:27:12 Yeah, it's a total dictatorship. It's always a dictatorship, Abster, whenever we're not in power. Those people are always the dictators. You were the party, though, sir, that did actually demand face masks and wanted everyone to stay inside their homes. Yeah, but they're the dictators, Abster, you know, and stuff with Israel, Gaza, whatever. I don't, you know. I don't know if Abster oligarchy.
Starting point is 00:27:34 He's going to short circuit if you pressure press him on too much stuff. Golly, can you imagine Beto O'Rourke and Pete Booty Juice? The two most boring, idiotic nepo babies in the Democrat Party?
Starting point is 00:27:49 Good night. As president and vice president? And then we've got on our side, and I know Trump was floating Marco Rubio, I will literally go down in a ball of flames on that one. There's no.
Starting point is 00:28:01 way in hell. I mean, anybody, I'm sorry, but you forfeit your Second Amendment support if you're back in that guy. So you don't think he's evolved enough to... No, I don't think he has. You know why? Because he hasn't addressed it. And as far, and until they come out and say, you know what, I was wrong on this and I folded like a cheap suit on stage because I was intimidated by the crowd and they didn't have the strength of character to stand up against them lovingly yet firmly and not move an inch like I did. And I'm not even in Congress. You know, I'm sorry I messed up on that. I totally, you know, I don't believe those things and I would never support them. I will accept that. But let's not like prance around and pretend that that not doing anything less than
Starting point is 00:28:38 that is going to get him any bit of support, at least not from where I'm sitting. Understood. I will literally haunt his every step on this because I will never forget the sinking feeling in my gut when he caved to them, Marco Rubio, on the everything from red flag law to universal background check. He gave them everything on that stage verbally. He said, yes, I agree. We need stronger. Yes. He said, yes, I agree with a universal background checks is how he said it. It's on camera. It was on CNN. And then 20 minutes later, I had to go out. And everyone's like, well, Marco Rubio said this. And they were trying to pit me against Rubio on stage. I'm on national television in front of millions of people. And CNN's like, well, Marco Rubio said. And I'm like, I don't give a rats ass what Marco Rubio said.
Starting point is 00:29:24 This is the truth of it. I'm not. giving up a damned inch. And if I can't have a politician in elected office who doesn't, who cannot at least for the respect of the voter do the same, piss off. You don't get anything. You don't get consideration. And I'll be damned if we're going to have another like coronation of somebody who's caved on our rights before. Don't even get me started on this because it will, I mean, it's going to be, it'll be a rhetorical bloodbath. It's one thing I'm not tolerating. Now, like I said, all for him coming out and saying, you know what, I royally messed up. And I was wrong.
Starting point is 00:30:01 I was intimidated by the crowd. It was a very difficult position, you know, and I don't agree with these things. And I'm not, I will accept that. So don't think I'm unreasonable. But to think that he can get by without addressing it at all, oh, hell no. Oh, hell no. That's not how we're ever going to do it here. And anybody that gives him a pass is just as culpable.
Starting point is 00:30:22 You all might want to go over, go over to Michael Bloomberg's office, pick up your mom's demand checks and your boxed wine and go hang out with the Monsanto Queen, Shannon, whatever her name is. Go hang out there because those are your friends. If you truly, you don't think that there's nothing that he needs to rectify, get out. Get out. I don't want any of it. Or our partners, Florida-based company, Caltech. The company Caltech, they've come up with a couple of new firearms in the past year. and over at Caltech the PR 57 is one of them.
Starting point is 00:30:52 It's a rotary barrel pistol chambered in 5-7. It's 40% lighter than other 5-7s that are in existence. And the rotary barrel that contributes to the lightness of the pistol. The unique top-loading design also is one of the explanations for why it's slimmer that replaces traditional magazines with stripper clips. Starting point is 00:31:53 I would tell everybody go to join.ice.gov and go there and sign up, be a part of this team that is helping make America safe again with President Trump. And the other thing, Lawrence, I would say, is we've removed any of the age barriers. We no longer have a cap on how old you can be, or you can continue at age 18, sign up for ICE and join us and be a part of it. part of it will get you trained and ready to be equipped to go out on the streets and help protect families. Hmm. Okay. So that's DHS.
Starting point is 00:32:25 They call her Ice Barbie talking about. This is what's going to happen. This is how it's going to go down. No cap on the age. No cap. No cap. That's like fun. It's fun saying it.
Starting point is 00:32:38 True. So, yeah, I don't care. She can wear all the pink she wants to and works. I don't care what she does as long as she's arresting people. And the border's under control. She can do it her she wants. Right. Just like John Fetterman gets a hoodie pass.
Starting point is 00:32:51 She gets a pass for all that. Just keep my border cleaned up is all I'm asking. You know, I'm easy to please. Kane, it's easy to make friends with us. You know what I mean? It is. It's super easy. Like, we just, you know.
Starting point is 00:33:00 There are no hurdles to get over or anything like that. It's not hurdles. No, no, none at all. It's very easy. Very easy. Yeah, discernment is not a hurdle. Thank you. So coming up, I've got two Texas lawmakers.
Starting point is 00:33:11 We're going to have Greg Abbott on in a little bit, our third hour. to talk about some of the latest with these derelict Democrats. And then Congresswoman, Beth Van Dyne, because House isn't in session right now. They're going back and traveling to their districts and all this other stuff. Can I kind of get her two cents on that too? Because this is something that we've, you know, the issue of the redistricting, all these people who are like, no, Republicans said it was just a good seat. Said these people ain't even from Texas. This has been an issue that they have yelled about since I moved here over 10 years ago. It has been an issue that they've been at each other's throats on since before 2013.
Starting point is 00:33:49 So, yes, it's been a long time coming. It predates Trump. This idea that, well, it's just because Trump's a dictator. No, just because you can't win elections. That's what the problem is. It's because you can't win elections. Just win some elections. Maybe, you know, maybe Democrats could do it if they stopped lecturing everybody about
Starting point is 00:34:10 pronouns or having things like gay games. By the way, Denver is having some gay games. I'm not kidding you. What? Gay games. Gay games. Well, that's what we're going to discuss. What are the gay games?
Starting point is 00:34:22 It's going to be Kane's favorite segment ever. He's so excited for this segment. He was like, I can't wait to hear what they do in the gay games. Colorado wants to host the 2030 gay games. Gotta get ready for all that gay. Yeah, we got a lot coming up. Stick with us. But all family pharmacy, they have every medication that you need.

Starting point is 00:36:04 man, they attacked big balls yesterday in, or the other day in D.C. I'm sorry. Do you not like to hear about this, this point? Poor innocent big balls that got attacked, Kay? It's, it's news. It's news. It is news. Today, news station logo. Ex-Dosh staffer that they call Big Balls was bloodied up after a savage D.C.
Starting point is 00:36:30 Carjacking attempt by 10 juveniles. Yeah, he is 19 years old, so I would also, he's fairly young. He thwarted a carjacking attempt. a group of juveniles approached the car of this woman and made a comment about taking the vehicle and the he had to help her because she was getting attacked. They were trying to take her car. And officers noticed a group of approximately 10 juveniles surrounding the complainant's vehicle and assaulting big balls. It's not his name. But that's what he's called. They actually, everybody knows his name now. Edward Cortestine.
Starting point is 00:37:13 I think I'd probably go by big balls too. But anyway, Edward Kortostein, the police saw him being attacked, and that's when they intervened. And he was really busted up. There's a photo circulating. The juveniles began fleeing on foot. Police were only able to nab two of them who were positively identified as being the attackers, 15-year-old male, a 15-year-old female. He was treated on scene by EMS for injuries that he has sustained.
Starting point is 00:37:41 He's recovering from a broken nose, concocting. cushion in a black eye. And I mean, they were, they were trying to kill him. They also stole his phone.
Starting point is 00:37:54 So I think they were trying to kill him. I think they need to be charged with attempted homicide. And I don't care if they're 15 or not. I'm tired of, tired of animals running around the street, tired of it all. But hats off to him to big balls because that's a pretty brave move.
Starting point is 00:38:11 I don't think many people, you know, survive doing something like that. If he was in New York, if he was in New York, they would charge him with something. They would charge him with something. I'm surprised they didn't do it in D.C. So this is not, D.C. is not safe. I mean, there were always areas in D.C. that you just didn't walk around in, but I mean, it's like really, it's really bad right now, really bad. I mean, trying to stop a carjacking and, you know, he gets almost murdered by a crowd of juveniles. And I think we need to talk where are these kids' parents at?
Starting point is 00:38:45 If they're 15 years old, I'd find their parents. I'd go after their parents. I mean, you know what? This stuff is going to be happening since people don't want a parent. This stuff is going to continue happening until there's like a serious, there's serious penalties involved. Serious penalties involved. And I mean, I know he's 19 and he's, you know, a young man. But if I was his parents, oh, man, those two juveniles, I would, you want to talk about lawfare?
Starting point is 00:39:09 Just to set the example and create a precedent. I would tie that family up in court for the. rest of their lives. Just to set a precedent. Just, just too. Tired of this stuff. You can't even walk around anymore without worrying about getting carjack your Tesla keyed or something. And in the meantime, Democrats are pretending that giving more Republicans votes because that's how they voted, that it's somehow a dictatorship. Lighten it up. The gay games. I didn't even know that they had these. You heard about this? The gay games. Oh, they do. Denver is wanting to host the 2030 gay games. I have a lot of sports with balls on here.
Starting point is 00:39:48 Gay games, 2030. The gay games in 26 are going to be apparently in Spain. And that's in Valencia, Spain. And, yeah, they're Denver's inching closer to hosting the gay games, Kane. What are you? You couldn't wait to do this, could you? This is a news story. It's part of the news.
Starting point is 00:40:09 I'm just, here's my question. What makes the gay games different than other games? That was going to be my question. Are they still doing things like shot put? What would you like to know what some of the gay games are? High jump. Artistic swimming. What?
Starting point is 00:40:27 Makes sense. I don't know what the hell that is, but it's a thing. I was trying to find out more about it on their website, but they literally don't tell you. Synchronize swimming? I think it's pink speedos from what I can understand. I think we all understand. That's probably... And body paint, and I don't know what else.
Starting point is 00:40:48 I guess that's what that means. Swimmers are doing body paint? I don't know. Artistic. Let me look. I feel like it's a synchronized swimming thing, right? Like it would be... That is pretty gay.
Starting point is 00:41:01 So, let's see. The artistic gay games, this gay swimming, or the, sorry, artistic swimming. Oh, yeah. I guess it's formally known as synchronized. swimming. Okay. So, yeah, it makes sense.
Starting point is 00:41:15 It's a cultural event that promotes inclusion and diversity. You know. So are they good at synchronizing their swimming or are they not? What does this have to do
Starting point is 00:41:26 with diversity? No clue. I mean, do they... Fuck. Do they... Hang on. I got to ask a...
Starting point is 00:41:37 I know. I got to ask a question. All right. I got to pull this movie on. Mike, do they stop, you know, for, for I just want to know.
Starting point is 00:41:48 Yes, no? I don't know and I'm glad I don't know. I'm not going to answer that. Just curious. Okay, so the artistic, sorry, synchronized women. Why is it not called synchronized women anymore? Right. That's kind of dumb.
Starting point is 00:42:01 Sorry, but that's pretty gay. To stop calling it synchronized women. It's called artistic swimming. That's gay. You know what? It's totally gay. Totally gay. But you know why they would not call it synchronized women anymore?
Starting point is 00:42:11 Because there's very little synchronized. going on is probably why. So instead of calling it horrible swimming, they'll call it artistic swimming. They have all the stuff with balls, bowling, basket, badminton, beach volleyball. They got all that cheerleading, the gay games, they got cheerleading. It's pretty gay. They have dance sport. Oh, dodge ball.
Starting point is 00:42:36 I would be rocking at dodge ball, but not in the gay games. Let's see, kickball. Again, all the balls. Pickle ball, soccer. Rugby softball. Let's see. What else do they got? Wrestling.
Starting point is 00:42:48 It's going to be a popular one, the wrestling. It's going to be a popular, popular sport. So basically you got to wear pink. Everything I see, it's like all variation on pink. But do they not have straight sports that do things like basketball and beach volleyball and things like that? Are those? Are those, do they, I'm just curious. Like, why do you have to have like a whole, we have to have a whole sports competition?
Starting point is 00:43:13 based on how we have sex. But yet, sex isn't a part of the competition. It's weird. I mean, that's, you know, it's the gay games. Like, you've got to be gayer than everyone else. That's what I'm assuming. Like, who is the gayest? That's what the gay games is supposed to determine.
Starting point is 00:43:26 Who is the gayest one of all? And I'm looking at this. And I don't see Bader or work competing in here. So I don't even know how you can even have a competition without competing against one of the gayest people in politics. But, you know. Oh, man. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:43:42 Well, tell me that. I'm wrong. Steve, you were the one who was very excited about this story. Shouldn't it be who's the gayest person ever? It does sound like... This is just boring. I don't want to go see basketball. Because honestly, it's going to be people who can't play as well.
Starting point is 00:43:57 If I wanted to watch it, I watch WMPA. Come on. Which, by the way... Why is that, Dana? Well, maybe, you know how they do... I'm surprised Cornhole's not on here. Do you know how they do? Well, that's a competition.
Starting point is 00:44:12 It's like ski ball. I can't believe that's not on here. That's an actual competition. Ever won in commercials. Anyway, it's not going to happen. We still have like 10 other minutes. It's not going to happen for you. Sorry, I'm going to run this right up to the clock.
Starting point is 00:44:25 It's not time for the break yet, Steve. No, no, we got time. So anyway, my whole point was, like speaking to WNBA, they've been throwing like intimate items made of silicone, I think, whatever, onto the court. Neon green ones. Now it's like a, it's a meme now on social media. That could now, you could have that as a part of the competition.
Starting point is 00:44:51 The fallace throwing onto the court. It's like javelin. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like how far can you throw this fallace under the WNBA court? Now that would be, I'd be like, you know what? That is a competition for the gay games. I get it. I get that, right?
Starting point is 00:45:04 Not a game. I mean. That's not a competition. Otherwise, this is just like JV stuff. I'm so bored. Like don't sit here and be like, it's the gay games and then give me basketball. Okay? What?
Starting point is 00:45:18 Don't do the gay games and be like, well, here guys, here's some cycling. Well, yeah, cycling's pretty gay. But that's, you know, I was thinking more than that. You know, I'm just, come on. What? Is this triple jump still a triple jump? Figure skating. That's already gay.
Starting point is 00:45:34 That's already a gay games. We just assume. Johnny Weir? Hello. Wait, too long for this one. Are we going to get sued for that? No, it's only on radio. It's the gay games.
Starting point is 00:45:45 Featuring. Badminton, the foulest throat, cornhole, and e-sports. They have e-sports. Those people are going to just not be good at e-sports. Oh, my gosh. Esports, they're going to have it a whole on for the love. Maybe straight people should take it over and just be really good on the sports. So that way they get, you know, just how men are taking over women's sports.
Starting point is 00:46:10 Oh, no, it's the straights. They're coming in. Are the gay games where women can outperform the men? I really don't know. I just imagine there's a lot of glitter and pink. That would be. I'd watch that. I'd watch that.
Starting point is 00:46:24 Like, this is a basketball court, sir. Speedos are for swimming. No, speedos are for everything. It's the gay games. It's like a South Park episode. Flag football, that is gay. So, all right. Some of these are, you know, I get.
Starting point is 00:46:37 But I don't know. I just don't understand why it has to be its own thing. That's like saying here's a bunch of, well, let me just throw out something. You know, like this is, it's the redheaded sports. Only redheads. Redheaded east sports. Redheaded beach volleyball. Redheaded artistic swimming.
Starting point is 00:46:54 Redheaded badminton. You know what I mean? Or like people that have four toes. It's the four-toed games. Four-toed ice hockey. Four-toed rugby. Four-toed tennis. I mean, things like that.
Starting point is 00:47:08 You know what I mean? Why? Why do this? It's the stupidest thing ever. The way the humans try to silo themselves off, I'm a part of this click. I'm a part of this click. They're so desperate to be seen as being included into something
Starting point is 00:47:20 that they would actually participate. I just don't get it. I don't get it. Is winning bronze in the gay game something to brag about? Yeah, I do wonder about those trophies. Yeah. I mean, do they give medals? You get a trophy?
Starting point is 00:47:35 What are things I think about when you do stuff like that? Denver is going to host it? Denver, where you immediately step off the airport. board and you are consumed by plumes of pot. And then there's like questionably looking homeless people outside of every street corner. The last time I was in Denver, they were literally questionably looking homeless people
Starting point is 00:47:51 outside of every street corner. And everywhere smelled like stank. It smelled like a skunk's anus everywhere. It was horrible. Or Hineken, one of the two. I mean, it's the whole city smell like Hineken. You can break now. No, we're not going to break yet
Starting point is 00:48:08 until I say we're going to break. That's just how it's going to be. We're going to roll in this, Kane. Pretty sure it's time. You guys are going to regret ever bringing this story to me, ever. So, yeah, you can embark on the journey towards inclusivity, empowerment with the Gigi Dinn 2030. That's the gay game. Whatever.
Starting point is 00:48:26 Let's make history. Like, how are you making history? And celebrate the spirit of unity, diversity, and progress. Progress with what? You're all still wearing pink? I mean, it's just dumb. You know, like, why? If you are looking for like digital protection, that's not going to make your stuff clunky.

Starting point is 00:50:17 Little warning to some European tourists near Slovakia. Apparently a man wandering around wearing nothing but a balaclava and plastic clogs. Actually, he's wearing crocs. He's wearing crocs and he's an balaclava and nothing else. and he's carrying an intimate times toy on a stick, has been scaring tourists while wandering around this historic castle in Slovakia, the unidentified intruder posed for a picture, carrying his bizarre prop Monday near Giamis Castle,
Starting point is 00:50:47 and that's according to Slovakian television. He apologized to the female hikers who he scared the living daylights out of. Yeah, that's about it. So he apparently was at the WNBA court and picked up one of them fallacies and taped it to a stick, and that's what he's doing. I'm not even making this up. That's an act. Juan can't even show you the picture because it's disturbing and I bleach.
Starting point is 00:51:07 Well, we haven't, I don't think we're allowed that anymore. Also, we have Francis Ford Coppola rushed to a hospital in Italy. I read this last night. They don't know whether or not he's having surgery or not, but he was, he was there because one of his films, he was in Calabria with, I think it was Megopolis that he was doing a screening of.
Starting point is 00:51:30 And he was also scouting locations for a new movie, which he was going to start shooting in autumn. But he apparently, some of the reports are saying that he was taken in for a planned operation in Rome, but then he was rushed to the ward earlier with an irregular heartbeat. So he's, hopefully everything is okay because we really like Francis Ford Coppola. Also, global outbreak fear surge is a virus in China. Once again, prompts quarantines and thousands of new cases are reported. We're not doing it. I don't care. Moving on. I don't care. It's a virus. We have viruses. Stop eating bats, super easy. Aging
Starting point is 00:52:03 spreads through the body like an infection. Now they're saying a protein could be to blame. It's protein HMGB1. And what do you say? Uh-oh for. It's a protein. Well, like a protein, not like a protein that you eat. But maybe manipulating this could be
Starting point is 00:52:22 a key. I'm all for that. Yeah, totally for that. Yeah. Ark of the Covenant mystery was blown open. They discovered it. Oh, I think I talked about this yesterday. They discovered a biblical relic. Also, Tesla handed Elon Musk $29 billion. They didn't want him to leave. He wants more control to make sure it goes in their good direction, so they handed him a big fat water cash. Hey, what if I want to leave Tesla too? I want to leave Tesla. Hand me $29 billion. That'll work, right? So coming up,
Starting point is 00:52:48 in studio guest, Texas Congresswoman, Beth Van Dyne, Texas is 24th Congressional District. Got a lot of stuff to discuss, including when are the Democrats going to come back to Austin? of our partners that help bring you the program. It is the folks over at Relief Factor. Ideal for your busy lifestyle on YouTube, Apple, or wherever you get your podcast. This is a new Democratic Party. We're bringing a knife to a knife fight and we are going to fight fire with fire. They're bringing a knife to a knife fight.
Starting point is 00:54:20 That's according to checks notes, DNC chair Ken Martin. We just talked about Denny's versus gay games just last segment. I think that he's a top contender. Sorry, I'm not leaving it alone. So that's DNC, that's DNC's Ken Martin. He says that they're bringing, Democrats are done, doing whatever. I mean, I guess bringing a knife to a knife fight is different from burning down businesses and towns all across America every burnment murder summer. Welcome back to the program, Dana Lash with you, and we are broadcasting live, obviously from Dallas. You can listen to hundreds of markets across the nation, stream the simulcast, 347, direct TV, rumble, all that good stuff. Congressperson, my Congress person right now, whenever letting her go, Beth Van Dyne, Texas's 24th
Starting point is 00:55:01 Congressional District, is in studio because we need to tell people what our congressional people do. You actually do work when you're not in Congress. That's what, now, Eric Swalwell apparently lifts really small weights and swims at home and doesn't do anything with the constituency, but you actually do. So tell people you're back in your district talking to your voters. Now I'm not saying I don't need to be at the gym and I'm not saying I wouldn't like to be at the pool. But no, when we're home, we have we had roundtables this week. We've already talked to small business owners. And one of the things that we've learned over the last several years was guess what? Businesses are moving to Texas and they're hiring. But they're having a hard time finding people
Starting point is 00:55:48 that they actually can hire. So four years ago, right after the pandemic, we decided to have a job fair. And we didn't think we'd get more than a few hundred people. We actually got 6,000 people. This past year, when we did it last August, we had 25 to 30,000 people. We actually had to move at the location. It is the largest single job fair in the country. That's amazing. Largest. So just in the span of a couple of years, from 6,000 to 25,000 people. We have over 500 businesses representing over 35,000 job opportunities. It's going to be tomorrow at Global Life Field from 11 to 3. So if you are in the North Texas area, bring resumes, bring your walking shoes, get there early. There'll be plenty of parking. It's at Global Life Field. But literally,
Starting point is 00:56:37 last year, 30% of the jobs were $100,000 and above. So this is not like your normal job fair. It doesn't cost. It's massive. You can make some sweet bank getting some jobs. at this job fair. There's the information for you. If you're watching the simulcast, North Texas Job Fair, and you can visit my ntxjobs.com. Well, and that's, you know, why are you the only one that does this? I don't know. We've been trying to get the word out for several years. No, you're like the only person in Congress that does this for their own district. We're trying to get the word out. I think more people when they see the success that we're having. But look, we just passed this one cute bill, right? This one big, beautiful bill we just passed. And part of that had jobs.
Starting point is 00:57:20 requirements, work requirements in order to get Medicaid. And I think, you know, it's one thing for us to talk about work requirements, but it's also something else to help people get jobs, to get work. And so I think when we leave D.C., you're not leaving your job. You're actually going home to talk to the people that you represent. And that's what we try to do. That's right, because your job is not just in D.C. It's also here. So it's like a big job area. We're talking with Congresswoman, Beth Van Dien, from Texas's 24th Congressional District. She's, when she leaves Texas, she goes to D.C. to do her job. She doesn't go to New York to go cry on Kathy Hokel's shoulder.
Starting point is 00:57:55 She doesn't go to Illinois to go cry on J.B. Pritzker's shoulder, which I got to ask you about this. This redistricting thing, I moved in Texas. Our family moved here in 2013, December of 2013. And the arguments and insistences over redistricting has been an issue since then, because I've heard every debate about it. it. This is normal to have redistricting, you know, at least every decade for these areas. Well, you have to have it every decade. But it's the mid-decade redistricting that I think
Starting point is 00:58:29 some people are throwing their hats up at. But the fact is, it's not unprecedented. As you've mentioned before, we've had a number of times in Texas where we've had mid-decade redistricting in other states. But the weird thing is about this one is so many of the Democrats, Democrat governors are freaking out, right? Like how dare you pack your districts? And I think it's rich that you got Newsom, who represents the state of California, that it has 40% statewide Republican vote,
Starting point is 00:59:01 and yet only nine out of 52 of their representatives are Republicans. Wow. Not to mention the fact that the Census Bureau will be the first to tell you that they drastically undercounted in states this past census, they drastically undercounted in states like Texas and overcounted in states like California in a number of states in the Northeast. So this is unprecedented. It's not unprecedented, but it's also to correct the wrong. That's a really good point because from what I read of the five most
Starting point is 00:59:32 gerrymandered districts in the United States, two of them. I didn't realize two of them were in Texas, the 35th and the 33rd. And when I looked at these districts, it's so goofy. I know we showed like a million photos of them on the simulcast, but like one of them is just like hug in 35. And it's like connecting basically, I think it's what, Austin to parts of San Antonio. And then there's another one that's like a curly cue around Houston. That's, that's the dumbest thing I've ever seen. That's, that is like literally, it's gerrymandering this to try to expand Democrats power when they could just win elections. That's how you do that.
Starting point is 01:00:10 You just win elections. Well, I think, you know, in a lot of these states that, that our Republican, our Democrat representatives are fleeing to our blue states, that one, a lot of them are sanctuary states that are protecting illegal immigrants, protecting even worse, protecting illegal criminal immigrants. But the other thing they're doing is they are taking these immigrants and they are using them to repopulate congressional districts. So, you know, we have a number of bills that would say that only in a census,
Starting point is 01:00:40 your citizens count. People who are here illegally should not count. But you've got a vet Clark from New York who said it out loud, right? That we have to have these illegal immigrants here to be able to keep our congressional districts because if we don't, we're going to lose them. And, you know, they're saying that quiet part out loud, but this is what you're seeing. And so, you know, in Texas, we're doing it the right way. It's not unprecedented.
Starting point is 01:01:05 The Supreme Court has said you can do it from a partisan perspective. But we cannot afford to lose the majority. We have already had crazy folks on the left side of our aisle, who, you know, left side of the aisle who have said that if they lose, if they get the majority, that they were going to defund ICE, and that their whole focus in the next two years of Trump's administration is to impeach him. I'm sorry, but you have got to give this administration credit where credit is due, what they've done with taxes, what they're doing with trade,
Starting point is 01:01:36 what they do with the border, what they're doing with crime. I don't want to waste his last two years fighting impeachment. and having ice in our border wide open gas. And that's just two of the things that they would do. I mean, scare everybody for a minute. Democrats get control of the House. What happens first year? I look at what happened in my first two years in office
Starting point is 01:01:51 when we were in the minority and they were in the majority. The trillions of dollars that they added to our debt. The regulations that they added, the fact that you've had wars breaking out all around the world because we weren't leading. We were weak. We were letting Europe lead. We have wasted money.
Starting point is 01:02:10 We have lost trade deals. we have lost businesses, all as a result of the overspend and the fact that all Democrats seem to want to do is have government in every aspect of your life. They want everybody dependent on them. And I think there's a drastic difference when Republicans are in control and the majority. And that is what we're trying to definitely make sure happens during the midterms. For those of you tuning in, maybe you're just listening to the radio program. We're talking with Congresswoman Beth Van Dyne, Texas's 24th Congressional District.
Starting point is 01:02:41 because the bill went through, now we've been talking about rescissions packages, are they going to, because I kept hearing this floated, that there would be an attempt to do some further pocket rescissions that will even start chipping away even more at what Doge wanted to cut and start getting some more of those cuts actually implemented. Is that still on the table? That is absolutely on the table. I've had a number of meetings with White House folks from the administration that are looking exactly at that. And they have identified that there's going to be a number of precision packages that are coming. With our second possible reconciliation package,
Starting point is 01:03:16 we're also looking at being able to cut down on spending. A lot of these things that we had tried to pass, but we passed out of the House got taken out because of the bird rule in the Senate. We're going to try to figure out how to get them back in the second reconciliation package. Some of those I thought were insane because they were trying to argue
Starting point is 01:03:33 that some of the things that were actually taxes could not actually be cut under the bird rule. I'm like, well, that's still, no, that's not. it's still applicable. It's created under reconciliation. The tax is created under reconciliation, but then you can't take it back for reconciliation. You can say, I don't want to spend it. And from what I was understanding from the ruling, they were saying, no, POTUS can't do that. Because apparently we elect these judges and not the president of the United States. I wanted to ask you why you're here, because you have the job fair still, and we were talking about that.
Starting point is 01:04:01 My NTXjobs.com is the website. And you can go for those in the area. That's where, I mean, you've got all manner of jobs that are offered there. and you heard the congresswoman say that some of these jobs, you're looking at six-figure salaries, which is amazing. I just feel like Texas businesses pay very well. And I also feel, too. They compete. Yeah, they're very competitive. I really, I feel like, too, with all these people coming in
Starting point is 01:04:26 and businesses coming into Texas, can we tell them to leave their Democrat voting employees? Or can we, like, put up signs and be like, no, Texas is here north of the Red River. Can we do that? Like, is that? You would hope that one of the benefits of moving, to a state like Texas is they recognize all of these businesses that are moving here.
Starting point is 01:04:43 They recognize all of the opportunities they have. They see when they're buying a house in North Texas versus buying a house in California how much a better quality of life that you have here. And there's a reason. Policies matter. And I think the fact that we've had so many businesses that are hiring, we've got so many people who are looking for jobs, I think that's a benefit to this community. It is a reflection of the success of Texas. Yeah, I think so, I think so as well. I mean, we haven't had it. We haven't struggled with employment here in this state,
Starting point is 01:05:13 like we've seen in New York and Illinois in some of these other states, talking with Congresswoman, Beth Van D.N. All right, so last thing while you're here, because you guys, what is the first big fight when you return to D.C.? Probably figuring out our budget. So we're going to have budget talks.
Starting point is 01:05:30 We're hoping to be able to have 12 appropriation bills passed. I don't know if that's going to happen. We can get them out of the House, but I don't know if they're going to be able to get them out of the Senate. So I hate voting on continuing resolutions. It's not a way to actually run a government. It's just by continuing the same level of spend that you had the previous year. However, the better fit of that is that you're continuing the same level of spend that you had the last year and you're not adding to it.
Starting point is 01:05:56 But I think we're going to have reconciliation. We're going to have rescission packages. We're going to have appropriations. And we're going to have a budget. Now, I am the chairman of the Republican Study Committee's Budget Committee. And I'm putting together a budget with very conservative. members of our house and of our conference. And it's going to be a balanced budget.
Starting point is 01:06:14 Could we actually in our lifetimes make that happen? Cain, that's the most exciting thing I think I've heard so far this year. I mean, no pressure. My birthday is next month. And that would be a great birthday gift is a balanced budget. So no pressure. We'll try to have it out in time for Dana Lackner. There we go.
Starting point is 01:06:29 It's all about me, really. The North Texas Job Fair, folks, check it out at my NTX jobs.com. It's tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Globe Life Field because they had to move it to a bigger place. because so many people are coming out looking for employees. They're looking for employees. So go and check it out. We make sure we get the URL up there for you as well.
Starting point is 01:06:49 Can I add one quick thing on this? There's also going to be if you are a veteran, please come. We're going to have a separate area just for veteran services. We have done this every year and every year it gets bigger. That's awesome. A special area set aside just for veterans and veteran services. So make sure you come out for that. We got the URL up there, my NTX jobs.com.
Starting point is 01:07:07 Congresswoman, Beth Medine, you work, I think, harder than most members of Congress, and I think you're one of the most transparent members in Congress. And I think you're one of five actual Congress members who can do math and do it well. So we are very grateful for our Congressperson. Congresswoman, Beth Van Dyne, always a pleasure. Thank you so much for being in studio with us today. The folks who will bring you the program, burn a gun, it's always good to diversify your weapons array because, you know, you carry different calibers, you carry blades, you carry pistols, you carry all this stuff. So why not have something when you are completely disarmed from me? basically doing anything due to private property restrictions, municipal and local restrictions. This is where Burn a gun comes in. I think it's a really good remedy for any kind of,
Starting point is 01:07:48 for the issue of can your college student who's not old enough to carry a pistol but still needs to protect themselves, protect themselves. Burn a gun is it's a pistol, but it shoots chemical irritant projectiles that can deter threats from up to 50 feet away. And it's easy target acquisition, no recoil, legal in all 50 states, requires zero background. checks, zero permits, zero fees, zero anything. It can be shipped right to your front door. The SD, which is the pistol, it's the best-selling model, and then the new CL, which is more compact. It's smaller than the SD, but you're not losing on any kind of power with it. You can go and choose your color, the accessories, all kinds of stuff. But it's a great way to diversify your
Starting point is 01:08:31 weapons array and make sure that even when, you know, you're not able to carry, or maybe you're not old enough to carry out, but you're like living out of town for college. This is an option you really need to consider. You can visit berna.com slash Dana and check out the new burner cL, b-y-r-r-n-a-com slash Dana. It's his life mission to make bad decisions. It's time for Florida man. It helps and you press the button. All right.
Starting point is 01:09:02 So first up, a Florida man who was accused of Grand Theft Auto claimed that the repair shot. let him, it let him take the car, y'all, because he was homeless. That's what he claims. However, that's not really what the dealership is saying. They're saying that, no, no, no, or the repair shop, he stole it. This Florida man, he's accused of stealing a vehicle. It's from a Winter Haven repair shop, Christopher Rodriguez, he's 27 years old. He claimed that his friend Bubba told him that the repair shop puts vehicles at the location.
Starting point is 01:09:40 so homeless people can use them. No, that's not the case. Rodriguez was charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while his license was suspended or revoked, so it's been quite a bit. And he stole the vehicle.
Starting point is 01:09:56 So there was no Bubba, and no, he did not have the ability, or the permission, rather, to take the vehicle from the repair shop. He thought it was like public transportation, I guess. Yeah, actually, that sounds right. A Florida deputy captures a gator from a pool and straight up buckles it in a patrol car. I'm not going to lie.
Starting point is 01:10:18 If I lived in Florida. Now, I know I say that, oh, gators. But if I saw one chilling in my pool and it was just small enough, maybe it's still a little chunky, I'd take it. And it'd be a free pet for me. Free pet. So this is in St. John's County. A Florida deputy helped capture a gator from a backyard pool in St. Augustine before buckling him into the back of his patrol car video posted. from the St. John's County Sheriff's Facebook page shows the deputy wrangling the gator out the pool with these bear.
Starting point is 01:10:47 Oh my gosh, it's a large gator. Yeah. So the deputy told the gator, I know you're super mad because it was hissing at him. And then he buckled it in the back of the car. Everyone was saying, obviously, you grew up here. And he told the gator, he goes, you know what, let me buckle you in. And the gator was hissing. He was mad at him.
Starting point is 01:11:06 And he's like, I know you're super mad right now. you've got to get in this car. Is that a pet size for Dana? Yeah. Yeah. See, I feel like when I, I have some friends that make fun of me and they're like how you've never been gourd bitten or whatever is beyond us. Did I tell you guys the time that I almost took home a coyote?
Starting point is 01:11:22 What? Yeah. That almost happened. Good Lord. Well, it was like, the coyotes down here are a heck of a lot smaller than the ones in Missouri. Like in Missouri, you're like, that's a coyote. Right. Down here you're like, ooh, is that a sick dog?
Starting point is 01:11:33 You know, it's just like they're very, yeah. And I saw when I was like, ooh, it's sick. dog, you need some treats. And no, it was a coyote. And literally after I almost try to get this dog, or sorry, coyote in my car, Glenn Story, who owns Patriot Mobile, he lives like down the road from us. He texted. He's like, did you all see? There's a coyote running around in the neighborhood, and he shared a picture of it. I'm standing there. Looking at the picture that Glenn's story shared and then looking at this coyote, that's like a mirror, like feet away because I'm trying to lure him to my car. and I didn't have anything but like a couple pieces of beef jerking and old bag that I found in the back
Starting point is 01:12:11 and I'm like trying to get the you know it didn't the coyote didn't come obviously but we were that close I don't know if Chris knows that he's not he's not anywhere in here we had all of our guest leaves so I think he's outside so he didn't hear that we'll just not tell him that part all right so coming up we've got Texas Governor Greg Abbott in our third hour and bringing knives to knife fights well I guess it's better than burning down city blocks stick with us us. Starting point is 01:13:42 Top of this third hour. I could have just let you guys. So weird. I'm such a weird mood. It's only Wednesday. I don't know. Top of our third hour. Channel 347 is the streams of the radio program where you can watch us do the radio show.
Starting point is 01:13:58 And then the chats at Rumble. Also find us at X. I just got to say. So I had our congresswoman, Beth Fandai, sitting right here to my left, right? right here to my left and i have this four foot wide gaming screen four and a half foot wide it's like the it's the size of like danny de vito right like sideways it's a great measure and um i got all kinds of stuff up on it right you can't see it's like right like my hands resting on it it's right in front of me so you can see it sort of except when we're looking straight on so it's this big giant
Starting point is 01:14:34 gaming screen right big screen And I got all stuff on it. Like I got my audio list and I got our rundown of topics that we can bounce around. I got social media stuff up. I got slack up. You know, I'm monitoring. Now, granted, the segment that we had right before we were talking to the Congresswoman, remind me you came what that was.
Starting point is 01:14:53 The topic? We had headlines in the right before headlines. What do we have? Oh, God, no. We had the gay games. And then we had in headlines, we had the story of this naked feller who is in a, Bala clava. Florida man's story.
Starting point is 01:15:09 Yeah, yeah, yeah. And walking around in historic castle in Slovakia. And I had put that in slack, right? And I had slack up. And you know how
Starting point is 01:15:24 if you put a link somewhere, it will autopopulate the image? And it showed this naked man with his bidsness blurred out, like pixelated, a little bit of pixelation. going to have to show this. And he's standing there with a stick and then the fake mail copulatory organ
Starting point is 01:15:42 that he crudely taped to the top of the stick was also pixelated out. And he's standing there in a balaclava. Now, I didn't think anything of this, right? I have everything up on my desktop so I can see it all. And I just now realized after we concluded our interview, this was literally the image that was on like a part of my computer
Starting point is 01:16:03 right in front of the Congresswoman. the entire time. You should show at least like the screenshot of what it looked like. Put the screen because that makes me, Juan makes me look bad. I just had that photo up. It was the link that autopopulated. It was in Slack and it auto-populated and it was here the whole time. Now, she had a photographer.
Starting point is 01:16:24 There was a photographer with her too because she's been going out meeting voters and doing all this stuff. She's very busy when she comes back in her district. She just spends most of her time literally all day and all night doing different voter events. So she had a photographer here. Praise the Lord. And I'm not saying that in vain. I mean, praise the Lord that this photographer did not walk around to the back and just see what was on my screen because I had my audio list and my prep and social media.
Starting point is 01:16:50 This is what it looks like on the screen. This is what was up there. That's from Slack. That was up there in front of her the whole time. I'm like, oh my gosh. So while you're talking about the North Texas job fair that's tomorrow. Our very own 24th District Representative Beth Van Dine was looking at that photo. Unfortunately was there.
Starting point is 01:17:12 It auto-populated in the thing. I'm going to die, Milling Deaths now. I'm just going to die. Bye, guys. Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, lady radio. I'm pulling that cold play thing. Oh, my gosh. Luckily, she's an understanding member of Congress.
Starting point is 01:17:34 I know. And she was out there in the hall, so they heard us. It was a headline. So they heard us talking about this story. and I just didn't even think of it. And I look, I'm like, oh, my, can you imagine if the photographer had been like, and this was in, oh, my gosh. I don't even know what's happening today. So I got to say this, too.
Starting point is 01:17:54 I saw a couple, let me just hit a couple things. So there was, you know, you wake up in the morning, you look at, you know, social media. Maybe you do. I look up and I wake up in the morning. And the first thing I try to do is open my Bible app. And I'm like, I need to have that like the first, I know, but I need to have. like the first, I know, but I need to have that be like the first thing I see because the world is horrible. The world is full of horrors and here I am. I must persist. And then I'll look at, you know,
Starting point is 01:18:22 just see, when I go to social media, I go and look at what's trending in case something's popped off because honestly social media just has better, you just get better stuff, more recent news. And people were arguing over engagement ring sizes. And it was some broads on the right that we're doing it. I don't even remember their names. I think one of them's particularly thirsty, but there were chicks that were like women, females on the right that are like one to be conservative influencers that were attacking another female influencer. She was probably showing off her engagement ring because she just got engaged and someone goes, L.O.L that rock size or something. They were like making fun of her engagement ring size. I'm like, you're not, first off, you're not a
Starting point is 01:19:08 conservative. Number one. Number two. You're still lonely and sad and you have no ring. Oh. You're like Gallum with no precious. Oh. What is wrong with social media? I just, this vapidness has affected everything. Have you noticed this?
Starting point is 01:19:25 It's affected absolutely everything. Every aspect. Like politics have gotten so vapid. Like, yeah, that Ken Martin guy, will you bring enough to a knife fight? Oh, do you? Can I hear that one more time? I'm sorry. Yeah, this is the DNC chair.
Starting point is 01:19:40 Yeah, you got to bring, we're going to bring knives to knife fights now. What was your rule before? This is a new Democratic Party. We're bringing a knife to a knife fight, and we are going to fight fire with fire. Well, you've used fire a lot because you guys have burned down entire buildings and blocks, like Ferguson, Missouri, and, you know, down in, what is it, Kentucky, and then up in Wisconsin. I mean, I'd go on and on or Minneapolis. Like every, I mean, good heavens. In the wake of George Floyd, you had burned and loot murder.
Starting point is 01:20:09 that was burning, looting, and murder and everything. Chas, Chop. Let's look at the Democrats and ICE that are attacking ice agent facilities. You guys have been doing that for quite a while. So, and you guys have brought knives to knife fights. Actually, you've brought knives to everything. You brought knives in fire to even moderate, you know,
Starting point is 01:20:27 political disagreements. I disagree with your own health care. Why are you a Nazi? Flails with, like, swings knife around. Why are you a Nazi? I mean, what is this? What is it even? mean? Do you remember when I made a joke about, I wasn't even going to burn the New York Times,
Starting point is 01:20:47 I just made a joke about it for crying out loud. I, I, as a point, and people were like, Dana Lashes So mean, look at her, she posed with an open flame. You're the copy of a newspaper. So violent. Oh, my gosh, violent rhetoric from the right. A person on the right sneezes. Oh, my gosh. Does you threaten to kill me, you Nazi? Violent. horrible. But then they say things like this? What? Bringing a knife to a knife fight.
Starting point is 01:21:19 Where is this knife fight? What is the knife fight? Did we miss a knife fight, Kane? I mean, I love a good knife fight. Where's the knife fight at? But in the same sentence, he said they're fighting fire with fire. Well, what is he using? Knives or fire?
Starting point is 01:21:33 Fiery knives. Ooh, fiery knives. Forge and fire. Clearly. I mean, you can do something like that. Fiery knives. Ooh, that's a great. That would be cool.
Starting point is 01:21:42 That's a really bad, like, a band name. Like for, like, a cover band, like, in somewhere. Yeah. I don't know. That just seems that... I think that they need to kind of slow their role in some of their rhetoric. Because it's getting bad. Then you get the Slender 7th.
Starting point is 01:22:03 Texas State Rep. Jolanda Jones. She says redistricting is just like burning Jews in the... What? Yeah. Wait, what? Listen, can't even deal with this. And then integration happened and everybody thought they accept us. They don't accept us.
Starting point is 01:22:18 They are showing us who they are. We should believe them. And we better have the courage to stand up. Otherwise, we will fall for anything. And in this country, we will be defeated, deported. I mean, we will lose all of our rights. And if you think it can't happen, it can. And I will liken this to the Holocaust.
Starting point is 01:22:34 People are like, well, how did the Holocaust happen? How was somebody in a position to kill Island people? Well, good people remain silent or good people didn't realize that what happens to them can very soon happen to me or somebody I love. Wait a minute. So more people voting Republican and changing the makeup and shape of a district that is every 10 years reapportioned is just like the Holocaust? These people need to stop demonstrating such flippant attitudes towards that and diminishing what happened with these idiotic comparisons. I'm really done with it. It's so insulting.
Starting point is 01:23:25 It's a historical idiocy, number one. Number two, it's just idiotic and nonsensical. But number three, do you know how incredibly hurtful that is to people who I have friends who lost. grandparents in the Holocaust. Their families are irrevocably changed. There's, there's experiences that they will never have. There's things that they have experienced that's vastly different as a result of that. It sends a ripple through throughout the water of your familial history. It's like, you know, Democrats putting some of our ancestors on the trail of genocide. and having it irrevocably alter your familial structure.
Starting point is 01:24:16 I mean, there's things that have happened. And it's, and some of them, you know, like this is still pretty recent to people. You have actual Holocaust survivors. And they're just so flippantly using this as, as like justification for their refusal to acknowledge the shifting change in in these districts that necessitate, as we always do every 10 years, a redistricted area. And they were refusing, and by refusing, they're disenfranchising these voters. And then they're trying to defend themselves by comparing anyone who disagrees with them to Nazis. This is just a historical nonsense.
Starting point is 01:25:01 It's so stupid. This has got to stop. This really is dumb, guys. Geez. I don't know. This, it's, it's still, it's just ridiculous. Now, we're going to have coming up, Governor Greg Abbott talking about this a little bit as well. Now, speaking of all of this stuff, do you guys remember, this was like one of the big debates that everybody was having this Makhl Khalil guy, the Gazan activist, he was at Columbia, and he was one of the individuals who was part of the, you know, bullying of Jewish students.
Starting point is 01:25:39 And there's been this ongoing conversation, particularly on the left with their activists, about globalizing, you know, what does this mean when you're calling to globalize the intifada? This was his, I mean, he embraces it. Audio Summit by 17. Listen. I want to get into like, you know, like the chance, like from the river to the sea, from globalized the intifada about all of that. Like I heard someone on your podcast saying, like, oh, I don't like the chant, globalized an infida. Yeah, like, don't like it. Like, it's not, it's not being chanted for you to like it.
Starting point is 01:26:13 It's actually to make you uncomfortable. So you have to think about your complicity and what's happening. What? What he's talking about is literally making war against everyone who is, you know, considered non-Muslim. I mean, when you're, and making war and eradicating Jewish people, that's what that phrase means. So you're saying it should.
Starting point is 01:26:34 make people, so you're saying that, yes, it's bad, it's nasty, and it's on purpose. Why isn't this guy deported yet? Why is he not being deported? I mean, every single time he gets behind a microphone, I'm like, golly. I mean, I, wow. He said, well, you know, the attack, what he was saying was when he was talking about the October 7th massacre, he said in this, and remember, he was the guy leading these protests at Columbia. he actually was saying, you know, both the attack needed, he was trying to explain in this, that the attack needed to happen because it needed to break the cycle. You know, there was a Saudi Israel deal that was very imminent. I guess it's too much to ask them to stop raping people to death and chopping babies' heads off. I guess it's too much to ask. But he admitted it. That right there is a million dollar audio. Republicans should be saving that because we rely on capitalism. God bless America. It's our friends over at Angel Studios. I mean, I guess that's a step down from burn loot and murder from all cities, you know, across the nation those couple of summers in a row. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with
Starting point is 01:32:16 you, bottom of this third hour. Joining me on this, great Texas governor, Greg Abbott, who joins us via video. Governor, I saw that you have laid down the law on this. You have ordered These Democrats that are in dereliction of duty have abandoned their post, have abandoned voters, and they fled to New York and Illinois. The most gerrymandered states in the union, governors, you're well aware, to complain about something that Texas does every 10 years. Governor, I moved down here in 2013 from Missouri, and y'all were having this argument then. Now it's finally happening because this is what states do. If they're unhappy with the results, Governor, shouldn't they just win more elections? One, they need to win more elections for another.
Starting point is 01:32:59 A reason why redistricting is happening the way that it is, is because we are ensuring that the voters in the Senate, Texas, are going to be able to vote for their candidate of choice. And four of the new districts we are creating are predominantly Hispanic. It just turns out those Hispanic voters chose to vote for President Trump. Those four districts will ensure that those who voted for President Trump are going to be able to vote for a Republican for the United States Congress. And so Democrats are losing the state of Texas to all bullers, white, black, Hispanic, and their frustration is to losing. Second, let me go back to the way that you begin. You talked about a knife fight or whatever the Democrats are thinking or talking about they're doing.
Starting point is 01:33:43 You cannot have a fight if you run away. They have run away. They can't reach us with a knife because they're up in Illinois, in Chicago, of all places. I don't know, there's a more gerrymandered state in the country than Illinois. So what a bunch of hypocrites they are. They're not fighting. They're drowning as we speak right now because they're going to be held hostage and they're going to be criticized by the people of this state.
Starting point is 01:34:13 The people of this state, they have to go to work every day. If they were to break quorum at their job and say, listen, I'm not coming here to work this week. I'm going to go up to Illinois and New York. They would lose their job. these House members who are Democrats, some are going to be losing their jobs because they're not showing up to do the work of the people in the state of Texas. That's right. And they need to lose their jobs. What is there any, I realize that, you know, if they're absent from their seat for so many days, there's certain things that come into play and certain things that can be done. In terms of defining what throwing the book at them over this would look like, what would that look like, Governor?
Starting point is 01:34:50 What would be the absolute limit in terms of penalties that you could levy against these lawmakers? So we've dealt with quorum breaks before, and we've never thrown as much of a book against them as we are now. Here's what we're doing. One is we have arrest warrants out for all of them. If there are some in Texas, which I understand that there may be, the Texas Department of Public Safety is searching for them. We'll find them and will arrest them and take them to the Texas Capitol. Those who are out of stake think that they are beyond. on the reach of Texas law enforcement,
Starting point is 01:35:26 and they may or may not be. But for one, when they come back, they're not going to go to their cozy home. They will be arrested and taken to the Capitol. But know this. It's my understanding that the FBI is going to search for these derelict Texas house members in whatever state they may be in
Starting point is 01:35:46 and help identify for them and maybe work with us to bring them back. Point one. Point two is these Democrats, they have received money and benefits at their request to support them while they're gone. It is a direct violation of the Texas Constitution as well as Texas bribery laws for them to receive a benefit to skip a vote. They could be charged with second degree felony for committing bribery in the state of Texas. Third, and it happened yesterday.
Starting point is 01:36:20 I filed a petition in the Texas Supreme Court that begins the removal process of these absconding Democrat members. And the Supreme Court responded immediately last night and told the leading Democrat in this cause, his name is Gene Wu, that he has to respond to my petition by Friday, where we're going to begin the process of trying to remove these absconding Democrats from office. this is all good to hear because you mentioned that they've done this is the third time they've done this in less than a decade that i think what was it a couple of years ago this is the last time they fled they fled the state which is a part of the pattern for them we're talking to texas governor gregg abbott for those just joining you mentioned something that's incredibly important the demographic of these districts because they are predominantly Hispanic districts and one of the things that we've seen more than any other voting block governors you're well aware of the those voting blocks that are going towards republicans Hispanic Americans are really leading the way on that more so than black Americans, more so than even women, college age, etc. It is a huge shift in this voting in this voting block. Obviously, that poses a threat to Democrats. They think that somehow by disenfranchising those voters, that's like a good
Starting point is 01:37:36 way, that's good politicking. And there are reasons for the shift that thankfully for Republicans, the Democrats have not yet figured out. It turns out, it turns out Hispanics, And Texas actually do not like open borders. Hispanics in Texas don't like men playing in women's sports. They don't like transgender surgeries. They don't like all the leftist crazy ideas that the Democrats stand for. And get this, Danny, you probably have covered this. The member from the U.S. congressional delegation from Illinois, who went to another country and said,
Starting point is 01:38:14 I think it was Guatemala or she was more proud to be a Guatemalan than. in America. Right. Americans and Texans are fed up with that attitude by so many Democrats, whether they support Somalia, Guatemala, whatever the case may be. They need to be supporting the United States of America, period. And if not, they shouldn't be a member of Congress. And why the Texas delegation, dealing with a congressional-based issue,
Starting point is 01:38:40 is up hanging out with members of Congress who are leftists like that. That's damning for them and their future. Yeah. I would even imagine, too, that their refusal to come back and do their jobs. I mean, this is one way to put it, because you got property tax relief that's up to special session. You have recovery for Texas Hill Country, you know, for flood survivors. I mean, they're putting all of that in jeopardy getting that done this session. Is I mean, that correct?
Starting point is 01:39:05 So that is correct. Dana, FYI, I am running ads in each of these districts of the missing Democrats talking about how we need to be solving the flood-based challenges our fellow Texans are facing, but we can't do it right now because the candidate in whose district we are running the ad has left the state. And so their constituents are hearing about this as we speak right now. But as you point out, it's more than just dealing with flood victims, is dealing with trying to cut property taxes. And there are so many issues that are so relevant to our fellow Texans. Our Texans care about those substantive issues having their taxes cut more than the way the lines are drawn for Congress.
Starting point is 01:39:49 And these, the gerrymandering that they, the accusation that they use, Governor, I was looking at these districts. And of the five most gerrymandered, I mean, it's silly to talk. When you look at the map, people, when they see this map, they, they laugh out loud. They can't believe it's real. Five of the most gerrymander districts in the United States, 33rd and 35th districts in Texas, Democrat run. They look ridiculous, Governor. They look like a child's drawing. That does not look like a district. I mean, I don't know how anyone can make the argument that continuing to have a district gerrymandered is gerrymandering. I just wanted to get your last thoughts on that. So hopefully sometime you'll be able to show your audience what District 35 looks like. Oh, it's ridiculous. We've shown it before. Throwed up one. So here's the deal. It's very appropriately named. So this is District 35 and is drawn down the line of Interstate 35. It connects Austin in San Antonio through I-35.
Starting point is 01:40:45 That could not be a better name district. But it is what the Democrats have in District 35, which is a Democrat district, is a horrible example of gerrymandering. And what we're trying to do is to fix that to consolidate the district, make it so that the voters in that district are a whole lot closer to each other. Yeah, that makes sense. That's a very sensible solution to all of this. So hopefully these Democrats, if they don't come back, will, Governor, you'll have law enforcement that will bring them back. Actually, I should say this is my last quick question. Can we just take, I mean, we can just remove them from office.
Starting point is 01:41:18 Can we not? I mean, I know state's laws differ. Missouri's is different from Texas, different from Oklahoma's. We have that authority, though. So, and the authority exists is under a legal proceeding called quo war in tow. My point in, and I made this earlier, I began that process yesterday for the filing that, that a filing, I made in the Texas Supreme Court to bring the quo warranto to remove them from office. But let me just make sure that you and your audience and the Democrats know what I'm about to
Starting point is 01:41:47 tell you. And that is, regardless of all these different proceedings, we know one thing for absolute fact. We're going to get these maps passed. It could be this week, could be next week, could be next month, could be in a couple of months. They are wasting their time and harming their own families in harming their constituents by failing to show up. We are going to get these maps past. Get your tail back in the state of Texas. Do your job like every other Texan has to do their job and stop embarrassing yourself. There you go right there. Texas Governor Greg Abbott, he laid down the law. They can either come back or they'll come back one way or not. They're going to come back. It can be easy or real easy. That's how it's going to be done. Governor, always a pleasure.
Starting point is 01:42:32 Thank you for fighting on behalf of voters. We appreciate it. God bless. You too. Subscribe to the Dana Show podcast because who says you can't make fun of people while staying informed on your own personal time? Subscribe on YouTube, Apple, or wherever you get your podcast. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you. We are winding up this third hour. And of course, we'll have that discussion with Governor Abbott on all of that on Facebook and YouTube as well.
Starting point is 01:43:01 So you can check that out. follow along. Democrats are just mad. I'm trolling people on social. So if you see me being a brat, just ignore. Because I like to kind of, I not hit the hive with a stick. I like to drop kick it, like a kickball just to get reaction because the arguments that these people are making are so dumb, particularly with redistricting. You know why this matters to you? It matters to you because it's about control of Congress. If you're talking about giving Republicans, and it's not giving Republicans, no one's giving Republicans anything except voters. And voters, and voters, have determined that they are voting more and more Republican. And you have these whacked out districts
Starting point is 01:43:40 that everybody, every other state, they're redistricting, they're adjusting their district borders, their boundaries. You do that every 10 years. And if Democrats don't like the results, they need to, like, win more elections because they're not winning people. The people are not voting for Democrats. And that's why it's going this way. That's why they're freaking out. Because they realize that they performed so badly in these previous elections that they've lost their ability to power. They've lost their ability to hold on to power. And so they're trying to say, oh, well, this is just, Republicans are just, they're doing it because they said they just can't. Well, yeah, they can't because the voters allowed them to do that. That's, you know, that's,
Starting point is 01:44:21 and there's a lot of carpetbaggers that are out there trying to argue that, well, you know, that's what this is. They're stealing these districts. No, and I'm not going to take any conversation on people who haven't lived here. I mean, we're literally, when we moved on here in 2013, they were arguing about it then. That's how long this debate has been going on. And when you look at the ridiculousness of these districts and then when you look at what the trends are in terms of population growth and then the past surveys that show where the how these people are voting and where, I mean, that's, that's, I mean, you have to, this is why this is done every 10 years. This is, redistricting is not a big issue. Democrats, losing elections is a big issue for them. And they're trying to act like that's
Starting point is 01:45:04 not the real issue. They're trying to act like the issues that Republicans are chopping up these districts in a real stupid fashion to keep power. No, voters actually wanted more Republican administration. That's what they wanted. That's what this is all about. So I don't even know why they're acting like it's a huge issue. Because clearly it wasn't a big issue to them in Illinois. Clearly, it wasn't a big issue to them in Maryland. Clearly, it hasn't been a big issue to them in in New York. Clearly, it hasn't been a big issue to them in North Carolina. Clearly, it hasn't been a big issue to them in California. Clearly, it hasn't been a big issue to them in Louisiana. It's not been a big issue to them anywhere else except when now it hurts because they didn't do their duty and they didn't win
Starting point is 01:45:41 elections here. That's just the way it is. I'd someone say, well, if you can't have an opinion on it because you don't live here, I don't want to hear you talk about D.C., well, that would only make sense if you didn't pay federal taxes, you absolute walking mental abortion. That's the only way that that makes sense. Oh my gosh. Some of these people, Cain, I feel like they're failed, like their mothers took abortifacients and they weren't successful and here they are.
Starting point is 01:46:07 Is that mean? Because that's what it sounds like. I'm not, I'm just, you know, maybe they're not like that. That's unfortunate though, either way. It's just honest. Honesty is, honesty is neither mean nor nice. It's just honesty. That's all it is, King. That's true. That's actually true.
Starting point is 01:46:22 So it's going to happen. You know, it's like what they said. It's just going to happen. I mean, regardless. these maps are going to change. Because otherwise, you know, Democrats are going to hear from a lot of those Hispanic voters in those predominantly Hispanic districts. You have, listen, think about this. You've got a bunch of Democrats telling Hispanic American voters in these districts. No, no, no, you're not important.
Starting point is 01:46:43 We don't see you. We don't count you. That's what they're saying. They're telling Hispanic voters in Texas that you don't count. Democrats are used to doing that to their voters. Oh, yeah, all the time. Yeah. So just, you know, ignore me on social.
Starting point is 01:46:55 I'm just going to troll. Like, we know you voted by. and in the whole thing. But we're just going to slip Kamala in there for you guys. Yeah, exactly. All right. Today's stupidity came. All right.
Starting point is 01:47:07 Well, it's the DNC chair, Ken Martin. I mean, how much more stupid can you be when you talk about bringing a knife fight to a knife fight? I guess, I mean, this has to be it, right? Cut 13. One. Here we go. This is a new Democratic Party. We're bringing a knife to a knife fight.
Starting point is 01:47:26 and we are going to fight fire with fire. Fire and knives. That's the second time, too, that he said that. And it's also, by the way, not true because that's not a new Democrat party. Well, as Abbott said, that was funny. How are you going to get anybody with a knife? You're all the way up there in Chicago.
Starting point is 01:47:42 You fled. What you doing? Terry, what are you doing? Terry? You're all the way up there in New York. But more fire and more knives. Yeah. I mean, you know, I got knives. I have a knife drawer.
Starting point is 01:47:53 Anybody else have a knife drawer? Like, not in my kitchen either. It's in my closet. Yeah, I have a whole knife drawer. I have different knives for different outfits. You know, you have different caliber. That's a whole other. One day I'll do a video.
Starting point is 01:48:03 All right, folks, that does it for us today. Make sure you go sign up at Subsect, Chapter, and Verse. YouTube, Facebook, like, and subscribe. Back with you tomorrow.
