Starting point is 00:00:00 I think most people are wise to this. We live in an era where if you put out crap online, you can get a lot of people to share it, and you can monetize that. That's just the way it is. But if you're hearing things, something that's just outrageous, just no. In the state of Florida, none of that stuff would ever fly. So you don't have to worry about that FEMA is not leading this show. We are leading this show here in the state of Florida. We're marshaling whatever assets are available to us.
Starting point is 00:00:28 We're leveraging that. But certainly with people evacuating, in my executive order, I put in on Saturday that the default is you have a right to immediately return to your home following the storm. So already, I mean, can you imagine just trying to do your job as governor and dealing with that and then also having to deal with like misinformation and all that nonsense out there? because you've got, honestly, I think you have some, some, just if you're politicizing it at this point, I just kind of got a feeling that you're like a bad actor and, and, you know, people, they're dealing with enough already. So this stuff needs to stop. But that was a Florida governor Ron DeSantis who's addressing some of that stuff. Some of, because we've got this, it's it was weird. This, first off, welcome to the show, Daniel Ash. It's this, this hurricane, it was a category five, went to a cat four for a little bit.
Starting point is 00:01:25 back at a five and there, you know, everybody's being told, get the out of the way. You don't want to be in the way of this thing. And everybody's, you know, evacuation orders are in place. You know, they got, I was reading about just some of the preparedness that they have, all the linemen that they have out. Unbelievable. I mean, Florida is ready. Florida is like born ready for this. But even then, you know, you still, you got to be careful because the storm surges can be so unbelievably unpredictable. And that's, you know, that's one of the things that they're trying to gauge and prepare for. And, but they're telling people, look, you know, this is the time if you're getting evacuation notices, this is the time you need to evacuate because after that, you know,
Starting point is 00:02:09 it's just going to, it's going to be too late. And no one's going to be able to get to you. And nobody wants to, I don't think anybody wants to have themselves put in that situation. So I hope that everybody is listening to everything that, you know, these, these, uh, you know, law enforcement and, and, you know, these disaster, uh, experts that are being brought in and, you know, the, the meteorologists, like, listen to, you know, all the stuff that they're saying because they're saying, you know, there's a reason, and don't forget your pets. Please don't forget your pets. But we're hoping everybody stays safe up there, or down there in Florida. It's, um, I mean, good heavens. I mean, the storm path of this thing is, I mean, You have tornadoes.
Starting point is 00:02:52 Did you see this? I've never seen. They had a tornado around Miami this morning. They had tornadoes. There's a number of tornadoes in addition to, you know, these insane, these crazy winds. So we're watching everything. It's this, you know, apocalyptic scenario here with Hurricane Milton. And that's what, that's the latest.
Starting point is 00:03:15 So welcome to the radio program, Dana Lash here, with you and we're going to get into the latest. You can watch the live stream channel 347. We're a radio show but we have a live stream of the radio show. So if I'm looking down it's because I'm not reading a prompter. I swear
Starting point is 00:03:33 to God if I get one more email about that I'm going to print it out and run it over with my segue. People are like what? You're going to read this stuff and it's a radio program. It's we have a simulcast. And I'm looking at four and a half feet of all meteorology here. Kane, we're in our, now we're in our
Starting point is 00:03:49 weather people, our amateur weather people scenario here. It's the weather center. But it is, this is terrifying to look at. I mean, I, we've got friends and family. We've got a lot of listeners that are in the Florida area and just kind of watching the latest, this thing track. It's scary. I mean, they had a number of tornadoes. Now it's a cat five again. They're looking at, what is it, 160 mile per hour winds. The winds towards the center, they said about 155 mile hour. It's just widespread destruction. The Gales extended around 80 Monday
Starting point is 00:04:25 and it's over a hundred miles. It's going to be, I know. Right now, it's just a couple hundred miles off the coast of Tampa. And it's moving about 14 miles per hour. So that's the latest. Juan has my favorite app up ever. If you're watching the simulcast
Starting point is 00:04:43 of the radio, Ron's got the Ventusky Mac. Which is, this map is crazy. Because it has the wind. the wind speed, the precipitation, you can add all these filters in. And it shows you in real time where Milton is sitting out. The reason everybody is super hyper reporting over this is because this may be the worst hurricane in modern history to hit Florida. It may be. I mean, Hurricane Andrew is pretty bad. This, some people are saying because of the storm surges and the, the, how widespread it is. Yeah, that's that's that's that's what it's looking like so we're looking at you know what a couple hundred
Starting point is 00:05:24 miles a couple hundred miles off of the coast of Tampa and coming in from not the Atlantic side of things coming in from the Gulf side of things I was reading about this last night I didn't realize how rare that was when you think of hurricane season you just think you know you think it's gonna you know Atlantic you don't really think about the Gulf it happens it has happened before it's just rare and it's um it can be a little bit more dangerous because of the weather conditions coming in from the Gulf. So we're, I mean, we're looking out all the latest forecast for this and we're hoping that everyone stays safe. And in the meantime, Florida has been hunkering down, been preparing, getting everyone
Starting point is 00:06:05 set and ready to go for this. And some are staying, some are evacuating. And they, I mean, I think they've been doing it that a really good job. I read that they had, They took advantage of the 96-hour preparation window instead of just invoking a 72-hour preparation window. So that, I mean, this is just giving them, you know, greater ability to mobilize their resources. They have the largest, I was reading, they're at their power restoration, the linemen that they have assembled. They said it was the largest in state history ready to go. Over 50,000 personnel and equipment to accompany them. man i mean it is it's pretty unbelievable and they said that they have uh you're going to see it commence
Starting point is 00:06:54 immediately the restoration of electricity restoration of power after uh milton blows through so we're watching all of this i mean this is just this pretty this is pretty amazing stuff to see and uh we're going to bring you the latest and i hope again everybody's staying safe out there in the path of milton now in the meantime as we're following this and we're going to, you know, of course we're going to have all the FEMA stuff, et cetera. We've got, I mean, we still have an election. Fewer than, I mean, it's four weeks away now. We still have an election.
Starting point is 00:07:28 And the fallout from Kamala Harris's interviews continue. Now, we played the audio of her yesterday, and we had a lot of stuff to hit yesterday. We played the audio of her yesterday when she was talking to Whitaker, Bill Whitaker. and he was asking her whether or not she owned a firearm, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. And in California, the, because she just said Glock, I mean, unless it's like a previous, you know, pre-owned model that was grandfathered in.
Starting point is 00:07:58 I mean, they're technically banned. And when she was, I was trying to, I was reading to try to figure out at what point she said that she had purchased one because there was a little bit of contradictory reporting on it. So there were some reports that said, well, she apparently had gotten, you know, her pistol when she was DA in San Francisco. And that would have been back in like 0405. And the reason
Starting point is 00:08:20 why all this is important and I'm not just like going into a rabbit hole is because at that same time, that's when she was advocating for, you know, the renewal of assault weapons ban and that unsafe, they have like, you have to put all your firearms on a roster in order for them to be considered safe in California. So you have the unsafe handgun act that's in California. And the Glock is considered to be unsafe because it. because people that made the law don't understand how the three-tiered safety system and a Glock works. When I hear people say that Glocks have no safety, I want to scream because stop it. Why does we'll start saying assault weapons next?
Starting point is 00:08:56 Because it's not true. I mean, let's be factual. Just because it's a different system or a different type of safety mechanism than perhaps other firearms doesn't mean that there exists no safety. I have tons of Glockes and they all have safeties. I mean, they have, again, it's like a three-tiered system. And part of it is the, you know, in the, in the department. impression of the trigger, the internal safety within the trigger. So they do have safeties. It's just the Marxist out in California don't like them. And the reason I'm being so nitpicky about that
Starting point is 00:09:23 language is I don't like to give any ground to the left. So don't, don't go along with the left and say that Glockes don't have safeties because that's just a lie and you're just going along with them. I mean, there's a reason why Kamala Harris is in hot water particularly over this comment. Now, like I said, back in 05, a 405 when she was DA in San Francisco, that's back when she was pushing for that unsafe you have the unsafe handgun act that's when she was pushing for banning all of this other stuff and the she I think she said Glock in that interview because that's where her mind defaulted to she's the gun controls are right so the gun controls are it's like the gun violence prevention whatever it's like another office that she doesn't really do anything in they're being
Starting point is 00:10:09 accused. In fact, James Comer issued a subpoena about six days ago. They're being accused of colluding with the ATF and then the Michael Bloomberg, one of his satellite gun groups, the Everytown Group, in that lawsuit between Chicago and Glock. Because remember Chicago? They started suing Hyundai and Kia and all this saying that, well, how dare you make vehicles that people steal? Like, because people steal your vehicles, you're at fault for people stealing your vehicles and committing crimes with them. It's like a nuisance suit. So they tried this, they're trying the same thing with Glock. And they're saying that, well, because criminals can do illegal things with your legally to make and legal to own products, you're liable for that,
Starting point is 00:10:51 which is the stupidest legal reasoning ever, but here we are. And that's Chicago. Well, Comer had subpoenaed Harris, the Biden Harris administration. They're stonewalling this right now because they are, there's evidence, there's whistleblowers coming out saying that they were colluding with the ATF and the Everytown Group to on this suit between the city of Chicago and Glock. And so that's why it was so weird, again, that she just defaulted to saying Glock. And it made me wonder, is that why? Like, was that in her head? Because I don't believe that she owns one.
Starting point is 00:11:23 And furthermore, here's the other question that Bill Whitaker didn't ask. If she owned a Glock, when did she get it? and did she have to invoke a special exemption to get it? Because the, you know, the types that I have are banned in California. It's like the older gens. You can't get anything like it's like newly. I mean, there's been all kinds of litigation on that. And, you know, but they fought to to basically declare.
Starting point is 00:11:53 They wanted to have glocks declared like NFA items. So did she get a special exemption for it? Is she in illegal? I mean, I've got all these questions. And I don't expect, you know, not, I wish that Whitaker knew enough about it to be able to follow up with that because I think that highlights a major problem that even Democrats have with her record in that it's one rule for me and another for thee. So she wants to own the thing that she literally worked to try to ban in California. And that when Heller was happening, she signed on, she had an amicus brief where she was demanding, she was arguing against the ability to. to be able to possess a firearm in one's own home for self-defense, which is literally why she said
Starting point is 00:12:36 that she needed it in that interview. So you see where I'm going with us. That's why I have all these questions about when she got it. We've got a lot more, not just on that, because there's still more clips out. She was on that boomer show, more stuff from the view coming out. I mean, I've got some polling for you. We've got immigration. We've got election. And we've got all the latest with Hurricane Milton as well. So we got a lot of stuff to get into today. It's like kind of all over the place, but we're going to keep it together for you and make sure that you're set up now that we're barreling through midweek. Starting point is 00:14:27 Dana, 1,800-9-58-1,000. And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick 5. All right, so all the latest here, going through all these headlines. Sorry, we're watching the hurricane. We're watching everything. All right, so first up, we have, the Tampa Mayor has issued a dire warning to residents ignoring the evacuation orders. And we were talking about this a little earlier.
Starting point is 00:14:53 We actually had this yesterday where the Tampa Mayor was saying that you need to write your name. on your arm, which is terrifying. It's like a dog tag in a way. She said she can say without any dramatization at all whatsoever, if you're going to stay in these evacuation areas, then you're going to die, is what she had said. So let's not do that. Let's listen.
Starting point is 00:15:15 Let's be out. Let's make sure that we're listening to all of the orders. 1,300 gas stations have run out of fuel in Florida. Hurricane Milton, they said, could cause even more trouble. These gas stations, and I was looking at some of the things with the long lines. etc. Demand for gas has surged. Some of the people in Milton's path, they said, are trying to fuel up before they evacuate. They're trying to fill their gas tanks up, get their generators going, because they're anticipating losing electricity for an extended period of time. And this,
Starting point is 00:15:47 they said that these state reserves are 110,000 gallons of gas and then 268,000 gallons of diesel fuel. but those reserves are falling like super fast because, you know, obviously, you know, the distribution and people are getting gas and they're trying to make sure that they're prepared as this blows through. Rate cuts were supposed to push mortgage rates lower and I don't think anybody surprised in this economy that the opposite has happened in this. The Fed easing hasn't led to lower mortgage rates. The 30-year fixed rates rising since the first rate cut. Mortgage rates are closely linked to the 10-year Treasury yield.
Starting point is 00:16:29 which has also risen over the period. And so we're, I, well, November is just, I mean, everybody's just waiting on tenter hooks, right? I feel like that. I feel like everybody's just waiting until we see what happens in November. And then last but not least, TikTok is being sued by 13 states for harming young people's mental health, according to a new suit. So coming up, all the latest with Milton, FEMA, and more. Life can take a toll on our bodies. There's no way around it.

Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash here with you at the bottom of this first hour. Did you guys stay up late and watch Colbert?
Starting point is 00:18:15 No. Did you guys, wait a minute, wait a minute. Audio Somebody 3, Kamala Harris, she's just like you. She drinks beer with Stephen Colbert. Watch. The vibe election. All the vibes were all good. But elections, I think, are won on vibes, because,
Starting point is 00:18:28 one of the old saws is they just want somebody they can have a beer with. So would you like to have a beer with me so I can tell people what that's like? Okay, this was, now we asked ahead of time because I can't just be given a drink to the vice president I'd say, but I'd ask you, you asked for Miller Highline. You asked for Miller Highland. I'm just curious. Okay, the last time I had beer was at a baseball game with Doug. So, okay, cheers.
Starting point is 00:18:55 There you go. There you go. Ooh. That tastes like the beautiful city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. First off, I don't believe that Stephen Colbert drinks beer. No. Did you watch him? I swear, was he pinkies out with that?
Starting point is 00:19:12 I swear it, I swear he was. He's pinkies out with it. Nobody believes that he drinks beer. That's always what Democrats default to. Look, we're drinking beer because that's what we think that regular people do. They just sit around and drink beer. Look at them like Elizabeth Warren. Here, sweetie, would you like a beer?
Starting point is 00:19:28 Nobody believes that. So she picks the Miller High Life. I'm made of jokes on this. I'm made short circuit. But she has the time to go on Stephen Colbert and hangs out with him. Doesn't this media blitz at this point look bad? It looks contrived and last minute hastily put together. Now she's on Colbert.
Starting point is 00:19:50 I mean, what did we start the show? We were talking about the hurricane and the people preparing for Milton and all this stuff and she's on Colbert. She's, you know, doing her thing and not she's, she was only so much interested in Florida as she could try to stunt on it. Now she's not interested in it anymore. Now she's not saying anything else. Does that make her more like the every man because she can go and drink beer on Colbert? Do you think that she's more the every man? Does that, is that actually going to sway a voter? Like, well, I don't know. I mean, I wasn't sure about Kamala Harris until I saw that we should crack you open that Miller High Life. Then I was like, yep, that she,
Starting point is 00:20:29 can handle, she can handle international instability and the economy because the way she drank that beer. She was choking it down too. I'm not making, first off, all you people in Radio Lian stop sending me your thoughts because I just about died. I heard what
Starting point is 00:20:46 you said. Stop it. Kane? You know everything was planned with this thing, right? So, they probably saw the polling on which beer would trend better if she had to choose. And certainly Bud light wasn't going to be on that list.
Starting point is 00:21:02 Oh, yeah. So that's a good point. Miller High Life, it was. All of it is pre-programmed, pre-thought out. Everything is planned. Just like that little clip we just saw. Yeah, it just doesn't. Yeah, she didn't do the Bud Light.
Starting point is 00:21:16 She picked the, yeah, they probably did try to focus group. Let's see, how are we going to, how are we going to deal with this? How is that going to happen? Milwaukee's best. Milwaukee's a, yeah, it's due to that. But it just, that's what they do. And I can't stand him. He, when he started on the Daily Show with John Stewart, he was kind of funny.
Starting point is 00:21:36 And then he just got really self-infatuated. And he really thinks that his opinions shake the earth. And that the stuff that he does on the show that nobody watches really moves the earth on its axis. Nobody cares. The only time it ever comes up is when we're making fun of him, when it's just cringe and he's just lacks the self-awareness to realize. I don't know. But I don't, that doesn't, I don't think that that's going to move anything. I just, I don't think it is.
Starting point is 00:22:00 not going to move anything that's, I don't, I think it's too little too late for her. And she's still not quick on her feet with this stuff. She really isn't. She's not quick on her feet. Like for audio sound by one, she's talking about how she's a capitalist, but she's not. Listen, I'm not mad at anybody for creating wealth. Good for you. You work hard. You create wealth for you and your family. Good for you. I am a capitalist. But look, I'm also a devout public servant. I know the limitations of government, but I also know that we need to make sure that we, that everyone is paying their fair share so that we can do the work of extending as I intend to do the child tax credit to $6,000 for the first year of a child's life because that young family could use that money
Starting point is 00:22:48 to buy a car. When you sit here and go, I love capitalism, but the rich should pay their fair share. We've gone over this ad nauseum. They pay everybody's fair share. They pay everyone's fair share. the top 1% pay like three quarters of the taxes. That's, it's insane. So that's a stupid talking point. You could confiscate the wealth of every single person that makes over $200,000 in this country. And you still wouldn't be able to touch what we owe because it's government spending. It's not people keeping more of their own money.
Starting point is 00:23:19 But furthermore, her tax policies, I mean, you're talking about a deficit of 2% in the long run for the GDP. for her tax policies. You're talking about complete stagnant, I mean nothing. Drops in wages, drops in job creation. They would increase tax. She wants to increase taxes by over $4 trillion.
Starting point is 00:23:46 And what? For what? Government spending? Entitlement spending. That's what she wants. She thinks that the government should be able to provide. If you think the government should be able to provide.
Starting point is 00:23:57 to provide. Look at how Democrats have handled the hurricane aftermath with Helena, North Carolina. I mean, look at how they handled Katrina. Look at how they handle COVID for crying out loud. I mean, this, you would raise the tax
Starting point is 00:24:15 rate. We would have higher corporate taxes than China than CCP. Which is, I mean, it's unbelievable. But that's what she's proposing. So when she sits here and says, well, you know, we got to make the rich pay their fair share. The rich do pay for their fair share. They absolutely pay their fair share. You have no right. There's no, there's no entitlement to someone else's the fruit of someone else's labor.
Starting point is 00:24:42 I'm always mystified. Why is it that all of these rich Marxists, they never take it up on themselves to write the check, an extra check to the treasury, right? Do you ever hear like the Bill Gates people doing that? Like, oh, you know what? I'm just going to write an extra extra couple mill to the treasury department. Just going to give them a little extra. I'm not going to have them raise everybody's taxes. I'm just going to of my own free will. Just they never do that though, do they? Interesting. Yeah, because they know. No, they have to, they try to shame everyone else into thinking, well, the government needs to raise taxes on everyone before I can contribute more. That's stupid. Just contribute more if you want to. I guess you just really don't care. They want to act like what they're doing is charitable, but everybody else is forced to do it. So it's a little less charitable. And they also believe that only the government has the best response and the best ways to spend money. I mean, talking about the child tax credit and all this other stuff, how about you just stop taking families money and stop government spending and let families spend there?
Starting point is 00:25:46 You know, we used to have a time where you could have a two-parent household that relied on one income. You can't do that anymore because of the economic policies. And this is just going to make it worse. you're definitely going to ensure that you would never be able if a parent so chooses to have one stay home with their kids, which is a valuable job. They're going to make that something that's completely unattainable, just like homeownership anymore. But this is what she's proposing. She's laughing about it. Just the lack of reading the temperature.
Starting point is 00:26:18 I mean, you're watching abysmal government failure. And the feds have been, that's the other thing. The feds have been, it's like trying to strong arm some. of these states with some of this disaster response Florida's not letting it happen. They are not letting it happen. In fact, that's what we came in. We come up with nine where he was saying that FEMA's not leading the show. It's not leading the show. Listen to this. He's talking about how much they're able, like people helping people in Florida without FEMA's oversight. Audio somebody 10. Watch. Over two weeks, given both of these storms, the state is actively fulfilling over 1,500
Starting point is 00:26:56 missions. We've delivered massive amounts of supplies, meals, water bottles, sandbags, tarps, generators to be able to help our local communities respond to this storm. We've also deployed more than 11,000 feet of flood protection systems and erected them around critical infrastructure like hospitals, wastewater treatment facilities and electric infrastructure. Generators have been deployed at shelters and to support sheltering operations. Starlink, internet has been deployed across the entire state of Florida. We have surged an additional 600 ambulances and they are currently in operation. They're like ready to rock. And you don't hear, well, FEMA said, FEMA did this, FEMA, wow, that. I mean, FEMA would, you know, make it all
Starting point is 00:27:40 exponentially worse. They're not waiting for FEMA to do any of that. Good on them. And of course, the governor was also warning people about looting and taking advantage of the disaster and the emergency situation and preying upon people who have been, who are trying to survive Milton. Audio somebody, 11, he spoke about this just earlier. Florida Department of Law Enforcement is directing deployment of additional 500 out-of-state law enforcement officers. These officers will help respond after the storm to maintain law and order. And there is going to be a lot of damage from this storm. There's going to be opportunities for people to try to take advantage of that. My message to you is don't even
Starting point is 00:28:20 think about it. We are going to come down. hard on you. You are not going to be, you're going to regret that you tried to do that. Yeah, he said it's a Second Amendment state. So don't think about looting. Don't think about doing anything like that. I mean, he's, he said that, I mean, he reminded everyone, look, he's like, you know, businesses are boarded up. And he noted that there were people who wrote on their plywood, you loot, we shoot. And he goes, we're not going to allow lawlessness to take advantage of the situation. He said, it's a law and order state and good for him. Isn't that crazy that you have, I mean, you have to think about this, that that's something, this is what he
Starting point is 00:28:53 And also sex offenders, this is the other thing. Sex offenders, you're not allowed in hurricane shelters. Audio sum by 25. The sheriff's office will ensure that that is a safe environment for anyone that comes there. Anyone that comes in will be checked to make sure that they are not a fugitive and not wanted, not a sex offender. If you are a predator, you are not allowed at the room fire shelter. if you are designated under Florida law as a sex predator and you need shelter, you need to go to the Sheriff Perry Hall
Starting point is 00:29:27 Inmate Detention Facility. That's the county jail on Justice Lane, and we will accommodate here in the lobby of that building. You've probably seen it before. You know what I get from this sheriff? He's an FAAFO kind of guy. He's just, I'm just going to sit here and be a very straight-no chaser with it. we're not going to have no sex offenders in the shelter.
Starting point is 00:29:51 But if you make that guy mad, I love that. I mean, that's great to have that, to even think about that, to give yourself enough time in the preparation for everything. That's what happens when you put people first, unlike FEMA, who are broke and can't do anything. We got a lot more on the way, including Democrats still trying to defend FEMA. Also, we got an election coming up four weeks away. I mean, less than four weeks away.
Starting point is 00:30:16 We've got to talk about that as well and get into all of the later. I got some polling for you that we're going to dive into. Okay, so we were talking with the guys at Keltec messaging back and forth with them because they're getting prepared. They're legit right in the eye of the storm, so we're praying for them because they make some really good stuff. Like the P15, P15 is the lightest, thinnest, double-stack 9mm on the market. Two versions, metal and polymer.
Starting point is 00:30:36 The metal version has the walnut wood panels. Polymer version has a gator grip texture. Striker fire pistol. Awesome. From the inventors of the microcompact concealed microcompat pistol category, ultimate concealability. two mags, one-fifteen round with minimal pinky extension. The other is a flush-fit double stack that holds 12 rounds for heightened concealability. Tritium fiber optic front side, fully adjustable 2.
Starting point is 00:30:57 2DOT rear. Legit, the lightest, thinnest 9mm on the market. You're going to want this. And you need this. In fact, you need it. You like to conceal. You want to make sure you're not losing firepower or stopping power. This is the one you got to get.

New tonight, parents of some pre-k students in spring are outraged after they say some teachers have been giving their children sleep patches at school. In an email sent to parents today, the school saying spring ISD.
Starting point is 00:31:45 police now investigating. Matt Doherty is talking to some of those parents tonight. He joins us live in spring. Matt. The parents say that two teachers and two aides have been suspended so far still. They don't feel comfortable sending their kids back to school. What happened with the sticker? The sticker makes me fall asleep. This is four-year-old Lane Louviano. She's the one that broke this case open in September when she snuck one of her sleepy stickers out of the clock. She kind of pulled up her little shorts and said, Mom, this is my slipping sticker. I was like, the wood. When Lane's mom, Lisa, saw the sticker, she thought it was strange and asked her daughter
Starting point is 00:32:27 about it. And the teacher gives it to you where she put it? On my arm. On your arm? Which part? Point to it. Right up there? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:35 And what does it look like? Um, sleeping with a moon on it. Lane's dad says he's known something was wrong since school first started. Wow. I am shocked by this. So this was in, this is like outside of Houston where these teachers gave these kids these sleep, these melatonin patches. And they said that spring ISD, Northgate Crossing Elementary School, they were removed from class and placed on administrative leave because the police are investigating. They said that, and this started like towards the end of last month.
Starting point is 00:33:15 and she said, yeah, it's a sleeping sticker. It's for sleeping time. And she said other kids in her class also get it. And they filed a report. They said that they, you know, we're looking into filing criminal charges. And the expectation was that the school was going to notify parents and they apparently never happened. Oh, my gosh. And all the other moms were asking and dads were asking the kids whether or not they got stickers.
Starting point is 00:33:39 They got special stickers too. And the kids are like, yeah, we totally got special stickers. Yep. Yay. That's crazy. And so they said then when the kids come home, they stay up. They don't sleep because they've been given this melatonin during the day and they're sleeping during the day. And they said all their kids, they were, all their kids apparently were having trouble at bedtime.
Starting point is 00:33:58 Oh, I'd be beating some teachers over that. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. So they sent the district sent out a letter. And they said, and it took them two weeks to put these teachers who do this on leave. It said spring ISD is aware of allegations that two staff members at Northgate crossing elementary were administering sleepy supplements to students on September 24th. They were immediately removed from a classroom, placed on leave, et cetera, et cetera.
Starting point is 00:34:23 So we'll see. And, man, they said the parents say that the district's delayed communication is a failure, which, duh, yeah, it absolutely is. What would you do if they, if, I mean, you can't, you have to, you have, as a parent, you have to sign like for PEPTO. Right? Yeah. I mean, what if there, I don't know if there are any, like, melatonin allergies.
Starting point is 00:34:44 or anything, but what if? You don't know. But still, it shouldn't be doing any of that. Yeah, just, you know, educate. I don't care how safe you think melatonin is. No. That's the answer. No. They're not, they're not the school's kids. They're your kids.
Starting point is 00:35:02 They're your kids, not the school's kids. I'm just, man. So they said, yes, you know, they're questioning how long it went on. If it just went beyond special stickers, which I, that's immediately what I'd be wondering, like, okay, well, what else was done in this? Like, what else is going on here that we don't know about. But the school was trying to insist, like, it's just these two teachers. It's not, you know, it's all of this other stuff. I don't know. We'll see.
Starting point is 00:35:23 But they're investigating it. So that's kind of the latest with it. Just wild. All right, coming up in our second hour, we've got the latest with Hurricane Milton. Also, do you remember the kid who was dressed up? He loves the Kansas City Chiefs and he dressed up to go support his team and the media went after him, particularly deadspin? well, Deadspin lost their bid to get the defamation suit over this article where they went after and bullied this kid tossed. Aw. Oh, couldn't happen to a better publication. We got all the best with that.
Starting point is 00:35:59 And then, of course, the latest with Hurricane Milton and the preparation and the reaction. And, of course, the election. We got polling. We got all kinds of stuff coming up just moments away. Second hour. Stick with us. As we move our partners over at Patriot Mobile, the only Christian conservative cell phone service that's out there, they want to save you money. And they also want to make sure that your money, your hard-earned dollars that you use to pay for your phone bill, isn't going to compromise the things that you vote for.
Starting point is 00:36:25 It's not going to erode your Second Amendment rights. It's not going to go and help the radicals take over your school board and teach your kids age inappropriate things about sexual relations or anything else that's way above their educational and emotional status. They want to make sure that, you know, that your money, I mean, they realize how hard you work for it. You get great cell phone service without it going to all this other necessary Marxist stuff, unnecessary marks of stuff. They offer reliable nationwide coverage and all three major networks, you're getting the best service without funding the left. And keep your phone, keep your number, upgrade. The choice is yours.
Starting point is 00:37:01 They have plans tailor made for everybody. Families, businesses of all sizes. Doesn't matter. They got you covered. And they also urge you to vote early in your state if possible. Early voting's already started in a number of states. You've got to go out and vote. It's crucial.

That's PatriotMobil.com slash Dana 972 Patriot for your free month of service today. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you. We're at the top of the second hour here on Wednesday. And of course, everybody's watching and waiting to see the everybody's track in this hurricane because it's a big and it's like a,
Starting point is 00:37:39 apocalyptic. It's I think what could be the biggest that they have in Florida history, well modern day history. So they said there have been tornadoes. They said that it's doubling in size before it's going to slam into Tampa, 155
Starting point is 00:37:55 mile per hour winds. And they said it's going to make landfall what later tonight, tomorrow morning. And so we're watching all of the latest with this hurricane. We've got a lot of friends and family and a lot of listeners that live down there. So and also because it's four weeks out from an election and everyone's watching and making sure that, hey, because that's one of the things that DeSantis down there in Florida said that they wanted to make sure that everyone can still get out and vote. That's going to happen no matter what. So they are ready. Florida's ready. They're always ready. But Juan's showing you on the simulcast because you know you can listen to the radio program coast to coast. And then Channel 347 is the simulcast on direct TV and also Rumble where the chat is.
Starting point is 00:38:39 This is the Ventusky app And this is that little circle Right in the middle that's spinning That's the eye You can kind of see just how big this thing is It's mammoth It is huge And gonna be slaming right into Tampa Bay
Starting point is 00:38:53 And the storm surges You're gonna have crocodiles You're gonna have sharks out there It's gonna be crazy So I hope everyone stays safe I saw oh my gosh Please please please do not leave your pets I saw
Starting point is 00:39:05 Of course you know The course this is what immediately Twitter shows me. It was Florida Highway Patrol. They rescued a dog that was left on I-75 tied to a pole in the hurricane. And this poor baby was in deep floodwater. His legs, he was already up to his chest and water. And he has been tied to a pole and they rescued him. So thank heavens. Thank you, Florida Highway Patrol for doing that. Do not do that to your animals. Oh my goodness. So I'm so glad they were able to save him. But I hope everyone else is also evacuating and being safe and that they are doing everything that they, you know, can to, goodness, it's just nerve-wracking
Starting point is 00:39:45 because it's like, where do you go? You've got to get on the highway with everybody else. And then everybody else is driving and evacuating and moving in centrally. And then you've got the storm surges. So they're already dealing with, you know, distribution of gas and some gas stations have been running out. You can prepare as much as you want to. But when you've got a storm of the century like this, you know, that's why it's always good to always be prepared. So we, are watching, like I said, the latest with this hurricane prep. And we'll be covering it on and off as we get towards, you know, as it makes landfall. And the, they said the Pensacola Bay Center and downtown Pensacola, the evacuees going there.
Starting point is 00:40:26 They can go to that center. They have all kinds of different shelters and in different zones. I mean, they've got it. I mean, it's really incredibly well organized. they have they're they're they're all over like congressman byron donalds has been advertising in his district the shelters that have been opening uh for and if people want to bring their pets here's the ones that they can go to the pet friendly shelter here the one you're all different type of shelter for different type of everybody so they've got everything they even have uh uber they've been partnering with uber
Starting point is 00:40:56 to get free rides to shelter you have to use promo code milton relief to get a free ride to get to the shelter uh they've announced um i mean they've got I mean, everything, I mean, they're really doing a really good job at getting all of this set and, you know, just kudos to the way that they, I mean, they're used to it. They have the dumb truck drivers still doing it. They're out there removing debris still from Helene. So we're praying for everybody in that storm's path. Now, we also still have the election for weeks, less than. And we already had a weird little hiccup where the Democrat nominee decided to try to pick a fight with one of the governors right in the middle of the storm's path and it just didn't go well for her. But one of the things that I've noticed is there has been, and I pointed this out and I guess I thought I expected to see more people in the media writing about this. But not a lot of people are covering the disjointedness between Harris and Biden right now.
Starting point is 00:42:03 remember Harris was trying to politicize it and then said that oh well de santis is doing a great job Biden goes out there and says desanos is doing great he's talked to him completely contradicts Harris so every single time Harris spoke to the press then Biden would contradict her and it was really weird he had this I guess it was like the first time this year his big press avail where he's sitting in the White House with his members of his cabinet and he undercutter again. She's talking, she had already spoken to the press about how it was, she was accusing the Florida governor of putting politics ahead of people.
Starting point is 00:42:46 And then Biden gets, Biden holds a press conference, one that he hasn't held, something that he hasn't held in a long time. And then, of course, he's, you know, praises Florida's response to the hurricane. I mean, there is a disjointedness there. They're not on the same page. I don't think, I think it's part of, part of it, Biden's not being brought onto the same page because he's being put out to pasture. But also, I think he's a mad old man and he's out for vengeance.
Starting point is 00:43:09 He's a mad old man and he's out for vengeance. I think that's what it is too, right? Kane's laughing. You know it's true. He is, man, he's a bitter betty. That dude holds a grudge. Oh, yeah. You can tell it.
Starting point is 00:43:21 I mean, just by the look on his face. It's almost like he was happy that he knew that Kamala at this very moment was on the view. Yeah. Yeah, it's like he knew and he was going to just distract from it. She's out there talking on the view and she was, she was being asked about hurricane and all this and Biden's holding a presser. Just completely undercutting her.
Starting point is 00:43:38 That was pretty amazing to watch that. They're still not on the same page. And in the meantime, the fallout from her media blitz, which is on go, what else does she have? Is she doing anymore or is she done now? Was that it? Was that the amp up? That's a good question. Because she did 60 minutes.
Starting point is 00:43:55 She did the daddy issues thing, which is now like nobody's talking about that anymore now. She did the view, the old angry boomer Karen show. Howard Stern. Did his show. I don't know what else she has. I'm not going to be watching it. She drank a beer with a Colbert last night. It was awkward.
Starting point is 00:44:11 And, you know, when she was at, and she's asked almost every single interview, what would you do differently? Nothing. She wouldn't do Afghanistan differently? Why did nobody follow up and ask her that? Why is it? When she was asked on the view,
Starting point is 00:44:28 what would you have done differently? She was trying so hard to make it look like she has some ownership because she couldn't say well I would have it's a catch 22 if she would have said well I would have done something differently then it diminishes her um power adjacency because she's trying to make it look like oh I'm right here with all of this I'm right here in it it's an equal share of responsibility there's my that's my qualification and she she gives up some of that so they're asking her well then what would you do that's different she and nothing no one followed up and said, well, you wouldn't, so wait a minute, you would still leave Kabul the same in Afghanistan.
Starting point is 00:45:09 You would still have done, knowing everything that you know now, you would not have changed it. You wouldn't have done anything differently. I know you were the last person in the room, but you would have kept with that? I mean, there's a number of things. You would have kept with some of the COVID lockdowns. You would have kept with demanding that people be, you know, mandatory VACs. I mean, they didn't ask her any of those things. So she owns, I mean, she just doubly owns all of those disasters then, right?
Starting point is 00:45:45 If she's saying that she would not have changed anything, well, then they're hers to own. That was wild. But she, Kamala Harris also shows that she completely lacks confidence in her own ability to lead and her own executive authority. She couldn't even bring herself to say what she would do differently. She couldn't even bring herself to come up with her own plans on our website. That's why they copied and pasted all of the source data from Joe Biden's website. And so it had all these little markers, all these hallmarks in it showing that it came from his website. She couldn't even do that.
Starting point is 00:46:16 She's a fabricated, a hastily fabricated candidate thrown in at the last minute. I think she wants it. I think she would love to be president. She just doesn't know how. She can't be. She has no idea how to be president. She doesn't know how to be president. she and and that really came really came full circle i think it's really evident when you watch her
Starting point is 00:46:38 interview she just looks clueless this is not someone who can think quickly on their feet so i i i just can't believe no one asked her that like when she was talking to bill whittaker about you know her glock and i wish that whittaker would have said okay well what kind what generation do you have what what model do you got she wouldn't have been able to answer or if he would have said no wait a minute when did you get it? Did you get it after you were advocating for the banning of it? Not just in California, but elsewhere? Did you, I mean, when did you, when did you get it?
Starting point is 00:47:14 I mean, that would have been, that would have been a very interesting conversation. She wouldn't have known how to answer that either. And that's the problem. I mean, you don't, I mean, I thought Whitaker did, you know, well with a lot of these questions, but he didn't know enough to follow up on that. I mean, she was, when she was, what is it, in 2005, she was one of the people who were sponsoring a ban, a handgun ban. And the guns that she's saying that she,
Starting point is 00:47:46 the gun that she says that she had would have been included in that. And there's some back and forth reporting that she got it around 05, you know, anywhere from 04 to 06 when she was DA and pushing for that. I mean, and then don't forget the, what was it, prop H? It was a big gun storage measure in California. She, and that's that soundbite when it said that when, that we had played, the sound bite that came from that was she said that police would enforce it
Starting point is 00:48:12 because they would go into gun owners' homes and inspect how they had their firearms stored. Remember? And then she signed on in the Heller case. Harris signed onto a brief arguing that handgun bans, bans on the guns, specifically like the one that she said that she had when she talked to Bill Whitaker, that they would not violate. A ban like that wouldn't violate the Second Amendment, which the court said no, it absolutely would, and they rejected it. So I, she's, she makes it harder for herself. And if some of these lawmakers or some of these reporters
Starting point is 00:48:52 knew enough about the law that these lawmakers were making to ask it, then I mean, that would have a very interesting back and forth. I mean, he could have said, all right, well, when did you get it? Is it on the roster of safe handguns? Because you literally have a list of guns that are considered safe in California and not. And Glock models were all, they were all considered unsafe because they said, oh, well, they don't have, you know, you can't, you don't have a safety magazine disconnect. You don't have this or that. And they were trying to say that they were unsafe. And some of the older gens, those are the ones that made the roster. They were grandfathered in, but they had already been sold before the rule took effect.
Starting point is 00:49:31 So that was the caveat to that. So did she invoke special privilege as, you know, D different in order to get her gun? I wish Whitaker would have asked her that because then he could have said, well, what does that do? You know, you've advocated for banning guns. You've never explained why you've decided to walk that back conveniently, you know, weeks before an election. But I'm just curious, does your firearm violate the law of the state in which you live? does your firearm actually violate what you which you signed onto in the brief when you were arguing
Starting point is 00:49:58 that handgun bans didn't violate the Second Amendment? So you want to ban everyone else's guns, but not your own. I mean, that would have been the immediate question to follow up with. But Whitaker didn't know enough about the issue. And I'm not saying you've got to be a gun person, but when that's a huge thing that you've done a 180 on, maybe be a little bit more prepared on that. And I've given him a lot of kudos and the way that he's approached his,
Starting point is 00:50:18 I thought he did a great job so far. That's just the one where he fell short. it would be like me questioning her you know somebody about football right like i don't know not about football Whitaker don't know not about guns he didn't know what to ask you know i'm not but that that that would have shown a significant gap between how she wants to live and how she expects everyone else to live which is the crux of democrats ideology and that's one of the things that we that voters are considering going into election this year so that would have been that would have that would have been interesting to see that to see that happen that that back and forth
Starting point is 00:50:51 Also, by the way, the $750, they're still mad. FEMA is trying to defend itself. And they're saying that misinformation is a distraction. Let's start with 16. This is one of the administrators with FEMA who's blasting what I think is just actual criticism of what they've been doing. But listen. Yeah, it's unfortunate that we're still having this conversation.
Starting point is 00:51:19 It's a false narrative and it's just a distraction to what we're doing here on the ground. Just because you don't see somebody in a FEMA shirt walking around a community doesn't mean FEMA's not there. Well, what about the 750? I mean, remember, they were trying to say that even any accountability related to that was misinformation. This is what they were saying about the $750. This is that same administrator with FEMA. Audio Soundbite 15. Well, let me just set the record straight on the $750 first, right?
Starting point is 00:51:57 We know that some people have immediate needs. They need to replace medicine, maybe by clothing, additional food and water. And so that's just an initial financial assistance to help them meet those immediate needs in the beginning. But as people are registering and they get that funding, we're also giving them reimbursement for repairs. for the damages that they incurred in their home or lost belongings or if they incurred costs when they evacuated. Yeah. But they got to pay it back. You have to pay it back. It's your tax dollars. You got to pay it back. It's your tax dollars. You got to pay it back. Dana Lash with you, bottom of this second hour. So I'm reading this piece and looking at the satellite images of the coastline, Florida's coastline, right? They said that the hurricane could be so powerful, it could forever change the coastline. And it could, because it's supposed to be such a wide-ranging storm, it's going to hit nearly every beach on their west coast. And they said,
Starting point is 00:54:15 the coastline could be forever changed. And they said that this is from the U.S. Geological survey. It's making landfall later tonight. And they said that 95% of their beaches on the west coast are forecast to be inundated or continuously covered by ocean water. And they said the waves and surge could cause erosion and overwash to 100% of those beaches. And that, I mean, I'm looking at the measure, I mean, from Tampa where they're getting the worst of it. It's going to be up to 15. I mean, although I've read maybe 20 feet and then around on either side, northern south, it's going to be up to 10 and 12 feet. But they said that it's going to be, they said it's going to be like the dunes, everything is going to be affected. When we, one of the things that we do is we like to go fishing and out in the, like in the out islands and the Bahamas or go out to TCI and go fishing out there. And whenever they get a hurricane in, I'm always, amazed first of the adaptability of people but can you imagine like you know you live on the island or you live on a coastline you wake up and it's entirely like a brand new land they i mean like down
Starting point is 00:55:27 after i think it was um it was either a dalia or ian down near turks and kakos they just had like little sandbar and little islands just crop up out in the middle of nowhere brand new island now you know what i'm thinking micro nation so i'm thinking like you go down there and you immediately claim it for you and I'm just, I'm kind of joking, but not really. You know what I'm saying? But my heavens. So that we're tracking this, it's, oh man, I hope people are being so safe. Be safe. Be safe.
Starting point is 00:55:54 The Tampa Zoo, because they have a big zoo there and they have a big aquarium, all the zoo staff is riding it out with the animals. Guys, I watched a video last night of them getting the penguin thready. For whatever reason, whenever I talk about animals, I have to devolve. I, like, devolve into baby talk. I can't help it. but I watched a video of them. They were going to the penguins ready.
Starting point is 00:56:16 The penguins cane. They were getting them and they were putting them on a shower stall to keep them safe. It was so cute. They were trying to get them all like, because the animals know. They know something's coming up. They know what's up. But they have to, they have all of these redundancies that they have for security, especially when you've got sharks and Malaysian tigers and things like that.
Starting point is 00:56:39 So they've, some of them, though, are that are flying to, they actually sent them to different, different zoos or refuges for the meantime, including moon jellies, which is what a group of jellyfish is called, a smack of moon jellies. Is there really? That sounds like some, like, jam that you would put on a biscuit. They've got some lizard, snakes, or algae. I mean, this is the little stuff that, you know, kind of makes it not. seem as overwhelming when you're thinking about hurricane prep and all of this stuff. A lot of the
Starting point is 00:57:14 birds were being created and they're being put in buildings to a stay in their hurricanes, but the staff is riding it out with the animals. I would too, especially them giraffes. Their necks could get all twisted up in them winds. Just saying, I'd completely. So they said that they're all staying through the storm and they want to give everybody a chance, you know, because it's going to be loud and they've got, you know, a lot of scared animals and good heavens. So we're watching all of this. like I said, as we, as, as this maneuvers towards land and the cat five, and it's going to hit later tonight, and we're going to keep you up to date on all of this. In the meantime, can we talk, give you an update about the deadspin thing with the kid? You guys remember this story.
Starting point is 00:58:00 I think everybody remembers this story. This first happened. This was this kid who wore a, he wore a jersey and he had his face painted up, you know, his favorite team is a nine-year-old kid, right? Nine years old. And, you know, a lot of kids, they go to some of these sports events and they want to dress up, you know, their favorite teams. They want to represent.
Starting point is 00:58:22 It's not unusual. And so this kid, he was dressed up. He had the headdress on. And he ended up, and I ended up just losing this piece because, of course, I did, because of Safari. He ended up getting attacked by the media. And this, one of them was deadspin. They lost, they were trying to get this suit tossed because the family was saying that you defamed this nine-year-old.
Starting point is 00:58:52 The nine-year-old had half his face painted red, half his face painted black. And he was accused originally of being in black face. And they were saying that he was racist and all this stuff and this little boy. and when this writer Karen Phillips, he published this piece on the little boy and it only showed one side of his face. It wouldn't show that half his face was in red, half his face isn't black.
Starting point is 00:59:19 And if you're watching the simulcast, those two images were taken on the same day. And so he, the writer only included the screenshot of the kid with half his face painted black and he accused the nine-year-old of being a black face. and said that it was racist, et cetera, and it just went everywhere. The story just, it exploded after that.
Starting point is 00:59:41 Well, clearly, you know, you're nine years old. The lawsuit, their son, Raul Armenta and his wife, Shannon, they filed a lawsuit on behalf of their son because they're like, I mean, which is true, you're defaming their kid. And I mean, it's wild. and the dad himself, and I'm looking at this, the dad himself is like a member of an indigenous nation. And they showed, the first images came on CBS, and they showed the little kid for like three seconds, and they could see the audience,
Starting point is 01:00:15 everybody could see his red and black face paint. And then CBS, you know, was showing others. And then for some reason, Deadspin only showed one side of his face. And they said the NFL needs to speak out against the Kansas City Chiefs fan and blackface native headdress. So this guy at Deadspin,
Starting point is 01:00:32 him, you guys remember this piece, made a whole article. He literally said, he literally accused this kid of, of representing racism, and then demanded that the NFL speak out about this nine-year-old dressing up as, you know, his favorite football team, for his favorite football team to honor them at a game. And it went gangbusters. He, the guy wrote Phillips wrote, it takes a lot to disrespect two groups of people at once. But this Kansas City Chiefs fan found a way to hate black people and Native Americans at the same time. That's literally what the guy wrote about this nine-year-old. He alleged that the parents, Shannon O'Rowell, taught the nine-year-old racism and hated home. Like, he never even met the, he never even met the Armenta family. But he wrote about them as though
Starting point is 01:01:18 they were a bunch of, like, clans people who hated everybody and were raising, you know, a future terrorist or something. It was one of the wildest, I mean, this guy's a grown man who went after a nine-year-old. He demanded it the entire NFL way in on this kid. well understandably you know that's not what happened it's not what the nine year old was doing and he's nine and it never occurred to him that you know he wasn't thinking about ray he's thinking about he's nine years old and he his parents literally are his dad is the santa in uh in the santa inas band uh of uh he works in a tribal reservation he's literally a member of an indigenous nation like a literally an actual participating voting member of an indigenous nation.
Starting point is 01:02:05 And his grandfather was a tribal elder. But Karen Phillips only just saw what he wanted to see. And he, you know, this kid was not parodying anything. This kid is, you know, he's, kids don't dress up as things that they make fun of. And so anyway, they went to court because this nine-year-old, I mean, his whole name is drug through the mud. His image is drug through the mud. I mean, can you imagine if the parents had not.
Starting point is 01:02:33 push back on this, what would have happened? Say this kid decided to go for Supreme Court one day. Well, we found a picture of you, little nine-year-old Holden in blackface. Look, deadspin said, so if you don't think that that couldn't happen, look what they did at Kavanaugh. Look at they did at Kavanaugh. He was in high school. Look what they did. Well, you know, let's look at what Holden did when he was nine years old. If the parents had not pushed back on that, that absolutely would have happened. They had to. They had to litigate it to save their child. they had to litigate it to correct the court of public opinion. And the family, because of that dead spin article, the family got so much hate.
Starting point is 01:03:13 They got so many threats. People were threatening to kill him. The father, people started showing up at the dad's work. The family was actually considering moving out of state. His test scores, the kid's test scores and grades dropped. They, according to court filings, he had to go and they had to get a therapist for. him because he was just destroyed by what this Karen Phillips was writing about him and what he did. That dude never apologized.
Starting point is 01:03:44 He never did anything. He willfully decided to lie about this nine-year-old kid. And so now, Deadspin, they were trying to, they, they, the parents filed suit. They said that, you know, they were making the case for the nine-year-old and saying this is what happened to him. This is how he was treated by this Deadspin writer. and how, you know, the Deadspin tried it incite a, well, they did incite a mob against him. And so Deadspin was trying to, at first, they republished an edited version that maintained all the accusations of racism and kept the nine-year-old's picture and made him like this giant bigot.
Starting point is 01:04:23 And then they updated the article for the second time. They removed the nine-year-old's picture and they changed the headline to read the NFL must-ban native headdress. And the family wasn't happy. all of the original accusations were still out there, so they sued for defamation. So Deadspin tried to dismiss it. They said the article's opinion and it's protected from liability for defamation. But the judge said, no, you literally targeted this kid. You absolutely targeted this kid. You targeted this kid. You used his image. You invoked his family. You did all of this. So that was
Starting point is 01:04:58 tossed out. And they were absolutely, they've been remorseless this entire time. They have been entirely remorseless. So now it's going to go forward. And the Delaware trial court judge, Sean Lug, in Armenta versus Geomedia, Sean Lug wrote that they wrote to this effect. And so they're allowing that defamation claim to go forward. I hope this kid owns deadspin. But when it's said and done, I hope he owns everything that Karen Phillips has ever made in his life. I hope he takes his home. I hope he takes his bank account. I hope he takes everything that he has ever worked to a crew. And I hope that Karen Phillips has to beg for mercy from this nine-year-old.
Starting point is 01:05:42 And I hope this nine-year-old shows Karen Phillips the mercy and maturity that Karen Phillips, a grown-ass man, didn't show him. It's his life mission to make bad decisions. It's time for Florida man. All right. So this, so there's one Florida man. I was reading this. This is in the mirror in Tampa Bay.
Starting point is 01:06:06 where the guy would not, he didn't evacuate his boat, despite warnings of the savage storm in Hurricane Milton. There's one guy, it's Florida's all on Florida's West Coast. They're literally nicknaming him Lieutenant Dan. But they said that, his name's Jay. He said that he was going to ride out, oh my gosh, why? Why? In a boat.
Starting point is 01:06:31 Do you hear his response? It was, boats float. yeah but dude he just he's he so he wrote out Hurricane Helene Jay and amputee said that he's confident he can weather Milton in his boat despite you know the 15 foot storm surge
Starting point is 01:06:47 please please dear heavens be safe that's terrible would you I couldn't know there's no way there's no way because you got the winds in addition to the surge you have the winds too and the winds are you know good heavens let's see here this um
Starting point is 01:07:02 I don't, do I really want to do this? Here's another one. I don't want a bunch of these stories. I really don't. Another Florida man said he's going to defy Milton. And he told a British publication that he loves the adrenaline. He's going to defy the evil die warning as the hurricane approaches. Aaron Pilkington.
Starting point is 01:07:23 He told a British publication that he plans to devine evacuation. Okay, I don't even want to read these anymore. Stop it. You guys are playing with fire or water and wind, rather. Stop. Don't be doing that. it's um yeah he said he's gonna write it out I mean again and he's in an area where you get 12 foot storm surges
Starting point is 01:07:40 it could be playing with fire actually because we've just seen that salt water and electric vehicles will cause the cars to catch fire so you gotta be careful of that too yeah I do agree with that but still I mean I saw I want to share this photo with you I'm putting this in slack because I've been seeing this on Twitter and apparently it's a real photo I don't know I was like Like this AI, this guy's got his, this Florida man has his house strapped to the ground. Right?
Starting point is 01:08:14 It's like, it's, I'm trying to figure. Are there's like pool? Like, what are those? It's anchored to the ground. He's got giant straps going over his house. And it's anchored to the ground. I don't. This looks Photoshopped a little.
Starting point is 01:08:28 Is it though? It kind of does. I mean, it is Florida. And if anybody has like some of the tools to make. that happen it would be you know some Floridians I'm just saying plus as Juan is showing the the photo wouldn't those anchors have to be more anchored than actually tree roots yeah you would think so or at least as strong it appears that that's AI or Photoshop or something something but yeah you would think that's an interesting idea though yeah a Florida man busted in a seven million dollar
Starting point is 01:08:59 publishers clearinghouse can't wait they're still publishers clearinghouse no the Ed McMahon guy? Still happening. He said he was just helping friends. According to Lauderhill police, Leroy Alfred Vassel was arrested in charge with four counts of felony grand theft for crimes committed between October 23, February 24. According to records, he engaged in a fraudulent publishers clearinghouse scheme aimed at defrauding older residents. Yeah. And the Lauderdale Police Department, they indicate he was a crucial player in the scheme.
Starting point is 01:09:33 victims were deceived into believing they had won. I can't even believe that the publisher's clearinghouse is still a thing. That's crazy. I thought I haven't heard of that in forever. Wow. Make you feel like you're like ancient. I'm telling you. And a Florida woman claiming to be a financial mother Teresa is going to jail because of a $190 million Ponzi scheme. Pompano Beach MJ Capital funding. That sounds suspicious. They said their president was often referred to as Mother Teresa because she helped hardworking people. she's going to be federal inmate whatever number because she let a rip off of $190 million from people and it very like hardly any of it actually went into businesses that needed operating capital
Starting point is 01:10:15 so she's going to jaily jail that's where she's going all right we have more third hour on the way and uh some of the battleground states some of the polling is starting to narrow we're going to explain where that is what it means get you set up with all of that next coming up third hour Yay, kittens and sunshine. Yay! Welcome to the show. Top of this third hour. Cain's dying right now already.
Starting point is 01:10:41 We haven't started this third hour, Cain. I know. Golly. We've been following Milton. We've been following all kinds of stuff. And we got an election that's going to be coming up in four weeks. And I don't know. I, I am, I just, I'm looking at some of the polling, too.
Starting point is 01:11:01 There's a new Quintipiac poll that's out. And in Pennsylvania, I mean, this literally just came out. And a new, and I haven't, now, I haven't read all of the, you know, stuff. But the latest with this in Pennsylvania has Harris 49, Trump 46, Michigan, Trump 50, Harris 47, Wisconsin, Trump 48, Harris 46. And that, so that's, this is from Quinnipiac. It's the latest. Everything is incredibly close. It's so close.
Starting point is 01:11:32 I know I say that. but I can't reiterate it enough how important it is. That's why getting out the vote and doing all of that, it all matters. But that's new from Quinepiac. And then the this pull up a couple, because there's pull up a couple of other things here too. Some of there's a new Gallup. It said Trump gets an edge in the economy and a new Gallup poll.
Starting point is 01:11:57 RCP has Pennsylvania. There's state polls at Trump plus two. So it looks like there might be some momentum there. He'd have put them a lot of time there, a lot of effort there, but it looks like there might be some momentum. And in, let's see, Texas, New York Times-Sienable has Trump plus six. By the way, the Democrats that are out there going, well, Democrats are going to flip Texas. Democrats are not going to flip Texas. Democrats couldn't flip a damn pancake.
Starting point is 01:12:25 They can't do anything themselves. They have to beg for the government to come and do it for them. No, the only way that they could flip Texas. is if Republicans are real stupid in Texas, which give them an inch and they'll take a mile. So Republicans are the only ones who can flip Texas for Democrats. Democrats can't do anything. But this latest, Trump was plus six there. Florida Trump's plus 14. I remember hearing, what is it, some of these Democrat surrogates out there saying that they're going to, oh yeah, Florida's in play. Says who. Anyone who tells you that Texas, Florida, or New York are in play,
Starting point is 01:12:57 they're morons. It's not. Doesn't mean you shouldn't see the ground, but let's like, you know, let's reserve our powder for places where it matters. This, the betting odds, it depends on who you go to. Some of them have Harris ahead. Some of them have Trump ahead. Again, we're not going to know anything really until election night.
Starting point is 01:13:16 All of this is just, it's just all speculative. You have prognosticators that are going out there. It's an industry for people. They make money off of this. They get hired and they make money off of this so that they can foment narratives out of headlines. That's all this is.
Starting point is 01:13:31 So, you know, you can take it with a grain of salt or not. I think there are, I think it does give us some guidance in areas where you need to shore, you need to shore up any weak spots. But, you know, by and large, we're not going to know anything until election. I didn't. Anyone who says otherwise, they're trying to grift you. It's a, it's a whole, it's a whole industry. They're literally polling firms.
Starting point is 01:13:55 That's all they do. They pull. That's it. I mean, at least the dancer's on them. These people, I'm joking. No, I'm not. I meant every word. Every word. All right. So this couple of other things, Afghan refugee was waved into the U.S. and he was charged. This is back in, what is it, 21, charged with plotting and attack. Well, look at that. If you get the newsletter, this is one of the things that came out in your email newsletter over at Substack Chapter Inverse, because we get all that out for you. Yeah, this guy apparently was able to, to get into the United States.
Starting point is 01:14:34 And he was arrested. This was back in 21. He was planning a terrorist attack on Election Day. We're now just learning about this? Back in 21. And I remember it was, whose administration was that that was criticized for their weak vetting process?
Starting point is 01:14:52 Now one of them is charged in a terror plot. Hmm. Justice Department said it was a 27-year-old Afghan refugee who was waived into the U.S. It was part of the Operation Allies Refuge Program and that it was in support of, he was plotting an election day terror attack in support of ISIS.
Starting point is 01:15:18 So, and it's been flagged. Oh, I'm glad we're all learning about this now. That's super helpful. Thank you guys so much. Only several years later. Super helpful. So there you have it. I'm telling you.
Starting point is 01:15:33 But this was, I understand getting some of the allies in at the fall of Kabul. I understand that entirely. As long as there's a vetting process and not everyone had been properly vetted. And this was like one of the only times that the Biden Harris administration, by the way, was dragging their feet and letting in people from different sovereign nations. But, you know, to the audio. Because, hmm, I don't want to play that old dude talking to our cane. because he's annoying. I just
Starting point is 01:16:05 Howard Stern I think is good for taking up airtime, but he's annoying. All he does is like bitch and moan. Isn't that all he does? And do blackface, although I don't think he does that anymore. Why was that not brought up, by the way? Like you're interviewing the vice president of the United States and like it's Democrats like for a woman or color or whatever running for president. That's not a factor. Right? But if someone said something on social media when they were 12, you got to go and cancel them. Right? I'm just
Starting point is 01:16:32 I got questions. I've got questions. Anyway, she, can we talk about, I don't know, she, people are saying that she did an accent here. Audio Sunday 5. I don't know. Just, we're smod. Have you no empathy man. You know, for the suffering of other people. Have you no sense of purpose? Mm. Hmm. Mm. Mm. Mm. Mm. Mm. Yeah. I, yeah, exactly. Was, well, who's she trying to be? It was not entertaining. Audio somebody four, she was asked, what are you going to do different from Biden?
Starting point is 01:17:19 Again, ask the same question. Listen. Sure. Well, I mean, I'm obviously not Joe Biden. I noticed. And so that would be one change in terms of, but. also, I think it's important to say with, you know, 28 days to go, I'm not Donald Trump. Okay, we know you're not Donald Trump. That's not what was being asked. And you're not Biden, but you're part of the Biden Harris administration. Do you know how we know that she's part of the Biden Harris administration? Biden Harris.
Starting point is 01:17:51 Her name is Harris. It's the Harris part of it. It's the Harris part. That's how we know. She can't say what she would do different. What would you do differently from Biden? well, I'm not Trump. The hell does that mean?
Starting point is 01:18:04 What would you do different from Biden? Well, I love tamales and I don't care who knows it. Yeah, Despacito, everybody. That doesn't, she's like, well, I'm obviously not Biden. What does that mean? What would you do different? Well, I have a vagina and that's what I would do differently. Wait, you have it and that makes you do something to what is that?
Starting point is 01:18:27 What? Do you not realize how embarrassed? seen this is. She can't even answer this question. What would you do differently from Biden? Why is she so afraid to answer that question? You know what? Because she doesn't know. She don't know the hell she's doing. She's like, get out there and take your picture. Just smile and look pleasant. Just get out there and do it. Well, I'm not Donald Trump and I'm not Biden. Okay. It's great. Are you a woman? Can you define that? I don't know. I don't know. But she can't even answer that question. So I guess it's more of this same. That's their slogan. I, she can't answer even if she wanted to, even if she felt,
Starting point is 01:19:09 because obviously her and Biden aren't on the same page. She can't answer because she hasn't been involved. She just hasn't been involved. I mean, it's, you know, pretty easy to see. She just has not been, I don't think she can sit here and say that she was the last person in the room for Afghanistan, whatever. I don't think she's been involved in it at all. So, I don't know. Will she have more press? God help us all. I'm so dumb playing her sound bites.
Starting point is 01:19:38 I'm going to jump off my roof if I have to play one of these other might. You know what? I mean, I'd rather sit here and talk about like the hurricane and the coastline than to sit here and look at these sound bites from this woman who can barely parse together a sentence. God help me. I'm not saying that to take this name in vain. It is an appeal to the Lord.
Starting point is 01:19:54 I cannot deal with any more sound bites from this woman. I cannot because it takes us. We play them. And then we look at each other, Cain, for like, we're like, the hell did we just hear. What is that? What? Well, we're unburdened by what has been in things and stuff with then diagrams and also maps. Realizing stuff.
Starting point is 01:20:18 And me and my friends were like realizing things. It just doesn't, none of this makes sense. It's so frustrating. Look, I'm just trying to figure out how much my income this god-awful government is going to take a steal of mine coming up after November. and how much the government rat agency, which is known as the IRS, which is a completely illegal cabal of rat bastards, I'm just wanting to wait, waiting to see how much, you know, because we got the deadline coming, I'm waiting to see how much money they're going to be taken after November.
Starting point is 01:20:46 You're waiting to see what's going to be happening with your bills and how much more expensive eggs and butter are going to be. Because we have an administration that has no idea about the cost of groceries because these people and go out into the grocery store, they're not going to go out. They don't make a grocery list. They don't have to worry about budgeting. They don't have to worry about cooking. They hire it all in. All of these, they have no concept of what it is like to live a daily life in the United States of America
Starting point is 01:21:10 because they are elitists, self-appointed elitists. I don't care about her stupid soundbites. I don't care about her chugging a beer like a moron on Colbert. She can't even talk about her economic policy. Hell, she didn't even have one. She just took it from Biden and put it on her website. She can't even tell you, well, this is why I believe that I should. tax things that don't exist. She can't even explain that. When you ask her, well, how are you
Starting point is 01:21:38 going to pay for this? As Whitaker did. Well, you know, it's time for the people to pay their fair share. What does that even mean? Pay your fair share. Well, they need to pay their fair share. This is like that shit's creek episode. You have to fold in the cheese, David. What does that mean? Fold it in. You just fold in the cheese. What does it mean pay your fair share? You have to pay your fair share. It takes all I have. This is one of those days where I'm at my limit. Because how many soundbite, They've been drip, dripping this. They had three days of soundbites from her Whitaker interview. We're going to get two days out of the Colbert thing.
Starting point is 01:22:11 We're on day two of the view. And I think also one of the reasons they release it like that is to give the impression that she's doing a lot of media when she isn't really. It's just that so much of what she says is asinine. There's so many things to cut. There's not, I don't have, I actually don't think we've ever played a soundbite where she sounded. I mean, I'm being generous. I give credit where it's due, even if I don't want to. But I don't have anything to play of her where she sounds intelligent or put together.
Starting point is 01:22:43 My gosh, she could win in November. She could win in November. I can't. We're going to talk about voter turnout coming up. Everybody's been talking about the evangelicals and everything else. And I don't know. I don't it's just one of them days man and now all of the news you would probably miss
Starting point is 01:23:07 it's time for dana's quick five man walgreens is out here calling out waffle house i'm kidding a suspected thief was shot by a store employee at walgreens in south suburban chicago a store security officer that had a license to conceal carry shot a thief who pulled a gun on him i mean this is the story a guy pulls a gun on a dude in a walgreens the dude happens to be a store security officer. The store security officer opens fire
Starting point is 01:23:35 because he just had a gun pulled on him by a burglar, a robber. Duh, that's how it happens. We don't need all this word salad to try to get around that it was a bad guy who was in illegal possession and illegal usage during a felonious activity in the first place. There was Calmed City Police, they were called.
Starting point is 01:23:48 Walgreens was like, gangway ain't playing. Good for him. I'm surprised now in this like environment. Walgreens didn't go, you're fired now. That was a big no-no, funk. Thankfully, they didn't. Also, vape detectors. Why, schools could get $2 million for vape detectors from a... Who cares?
Starting point is 01:24:07 Who cares? They can't even do math. Well, it's a good thing they can't add 4 plus 4 because then they'd be able to do the math and figure out how much of their tax dollars going towards vape detectors. What's that because of a vape detector? I just... This is what you tell kids. If you want to look like a fruitcake blowing what looks like a rape whistle all the time,
Starting point is 01:24:25 then go by all means, go right ahead. When I see people, you can get mad at me because I know. of me out there do it. I'm sure I do stuff that you'd make fun of too, but when I see people with vape, they wear them like whistles, I want to just die laughing. It's the funniest thing. It's not an accessory. Anyway, why do you need a vape, a vape detector? You know what, you know how this is the vape detector? Nope, no vape. That's it. That's it. They actually have a vaping awareness public education society. And the dude who's with it goes the detectors are actually known to not work.
Starting point is 01:25:04 Yeah. But $2 million. It's probably going to go off and pay somebody's mistress. Let's be real. It's not going to go towards the kids. Come on. A man who dressed like a superhero was sentenced for sex crimes. Like while he was, wait.
Starting point is 01:25:20 Okay, I'm very, like he committed the actions while he would dress up like a superhero and sexually assault homeless people. And then he was caught on camera doing it. And they said that. he filmed himself and he's a freak and he needs to be thrown off a bridge but anyway he got 30 days in jail and 18 months of bench probation
Starting point is 01:25:38 he pled uh he's he's had burglaries had all kinds of stuff but what was the they didn't even tell you what superhero it was K-E-Z-I you're a horrible channel. Shame on you It's a villain not a hero. Yeah it's not a hero shame on you channel 9

Starting point is 01:26:16 Welcome back to the program. There's all, we're following everything happening with this Hurricane Milton that's barreled towards the entire state of Florida. There was a tornado in Hendry County, Florida. there was one that was spotted apparently according to this is one of the storm forecasts the storm GPS they said near Port St. Lucie I mean all kinds all kinds I mean it's just it's
Starting point is 01:26:44 it's crazy already and they had yeah they had it it was that one in Port St. Lucy just minutes ago was spotted on the I 95 live traffic camera I mean there's turn nighter I mean I'm watching the kids is crazy I mean, it is wild, just wild. There was one near, another one near Loretta. They said that, yeah, there's, I mean, it's, you know, the weather is insane. It is absolutely insane.
Starting point is 01:27:11 So everyone, please, please stay safe. I mean, they're getting hit by tornadoes, hurricanes. I mean, the crocs are probably like, what is up? It's just madness there. So everybody please be safe. And they had debris. Then you have to think of debris. So debris balls from the winds.
Starting point is 01:27:32 As if you didn't already have a lot to worry about. I mean, my gosh. What would you rather deal with a hurricane or a tornado? Oh, boy. Man. I don't know. I think it would have to be tornado. You think?
Starting point is 01:27:48 I think so. Because it's so concentrated at times. And I think the actual mass of it, at least diameter. otherwise is probably less than a hurricane. So I would say tornado. And maybe not really. You don't have to deal with flooding, I guess. Right. Like you would with the surge of the hurricane. But yeah, the flooding you see with hurricanes, you wouldn't see with the tornado.
Starting point is 01:28:10 Goodness. Well, we can count on FEMA and a great old federal government. Oh, wait, no, we can't. By the way, you shouldn't say that because it's demoralizing. According to Alejandro Mayorkas, audio sum bite 19, he says, you know, this, misinformation is just mean and it's demoralizing to the federal government. That is indeed the case, Kate, and I will tell you another negative impact of this deliberately false information. It is demoralizing to the men and women at the federal level, at the state and local level, who are actually risking their lives to save others and to bring much needed relief to those who need it. Well, you know what? It's actually really demoralizing to average everyday Americans who are told that they don't need to,
Starting point is 01:28:53 that they need to give up their resources to the federal. government who's going to be always more prepared than they will. But then guess what? The federal government is never more always, never more prepared than they are. Never. It's never happened that way, ever. So that's what's demoralizing. You know what's demoralizing is when you have to give up so much of your income to the federal government and they turn around and they give money away in terms of entitlements and gift cards and everything else to people who enter the country illegally. And then there's nothing left for the people who actually paid that money in so to have those services. There's no return on the investment of their tax dollars. There's no return on the investment of their hard work.
Starting point is 01:29:24 there's no return on the investment of time that they spent away from their family earning that money in the first place. That's what's demoralizing, you shrew. That's the demoralizing factor. Sit here and lecture us. Like, be nicer to your government. Step off, get bent, six ways to Sunday. No. It's demoralizing to constantly have to put up with that targeted harassment and abuse from the federal government. They want all your resources, but they don't really want to have to do anything in exchange for it. Meanwhile, government spending is out of control, and then we're told that, well, everybody's got to pay their more of their fair share. You were told that all the new taxes that Biden Harris were proposing weren't going to affect you, and then you realize, oh, my gosh, it totally affects me. Now we're told that we're going to have things that don't even exist taxed.
Starting point is 01:30:10 Well, you haven't, like, realized it yet. So assonine. But that's where we are. That's where we are. Now, the, also speaking of Majoricus, he went on. He was upset that J.D. Vance was accurately recounting some of the mistakes from the Biden-Harris administration. It's unproductive to hold your government accountable, says big government. Listen.
Starting point is 01:30:38 18. Kate, we don't listen to or pay attention to such unproductive and quite frankly, counterproductive words. We're focused on mission, the state, local leaders in the impacted states have praised the federal response. They're focused so much on mission that they actually have to go and send all of their people to go and talk to all the press about how bad it is that all of the people who have been accurately noting the failures of the federal government have been noting the failures of the
Starting point is 01:31:12 federal government. And it's really unproductive to do that. The irony, the sheer irony of this. And then they wonder, see, this is all of this is putting, it puts everything in stark contrast. having a disaster like this anytime is horrible having it right before an election when you're trying to celebrate big government and get people to get on board with that is even is even worse and that's one of the reasons why i think democrats democrats don't know exactly how to handle this and the media blitz that their candidate went on has just been i mean it has been one of the most i've never seen anything more toned off in my life i said this to jesse waters last night and i'm not exaggerating. This is just very just bare bones. I have never seen a political candidate with
Starting point is 01:31:56 less, with less awareness than Kamala Harris. I have never seen any, any person that has gotten this far in their political career that doesn't have political instincts. And it's not to say that they lack political instincts because they have instincts for the little guy or because they have some sort of like virtue to take its place. No, it's completely absent of that. She just has zero acumen and self-awareness. I mean, it is stunning. The fact that she, She went on. You have a major historically bad hurricane blowing through. It might be the worst one in modern history.
Starting point is 01:32:33 Right on the edge of a, right after another one blew through. And you're on Colbert drinking a beer. And then you're asked three separate times by three separate hosts, what would you do differently from Biden? You can't even answer it. But then you get mad when you're accused of not having answers. And you say that that's misinformation. This doesn't make sense. Her poll numbers are not doing well as a result of this because people are seeing this.
Starting point is 01:32:57 The press, the media blitz, I think, is hurting her more. Now you understand why they didn't want to have her out there. When you watch her talk to these people, you see why it is they did not want to have her out there. I mean, this is why she did the whole, what is it, the Brat Summer, Kamala's Brat Summer and the Live Laugh Love campaign. I mean, she thought that those little schicks would be enough to just sort of, you know, occupy the mind of the voter. And that's all she had to do. I mean, CBS had to edit her answers to make them sound halfway decent.
Starting point is 01:33:29 I mean, they actually rewrote one of her answers, really. When she was talking about Israel, they, I mean, they rewrote it by the way that they edited it, which was unbelievable. And she just, she, it's weird because her, I think she's also underserved or served poorly by poor campaign strategists. Surely they see how unpopular Biden is. And they realize that it is a negative to have her so closely aligned with Biden.
Starting point is 01:34:01 And I don't know why she didn't take the opportunity to say what she would do differently. It's not that she's afraid of accusing him of things. She clearly wasn't in 2020 during the primary when she accused him of being a giant racist. And she did repeatedly every debate. It's not that she's nervous about stepping up to him. It's she literally has no idea.
Starting point is 01:34:25 That's the only other explanation. She's, she is just shallow. And voters see that. And that's starting to resonate because there are some new surveys coming in. I was telling you about Pennsylvania where Trump is starting to pull a little, is starting to pull ahead of her in Pennsylvania. I mean, she's struggling in Michigan. She's, I mean, it's, you know, and the media is doing everything that they can to help her.
Starting point is 01:34:58 Even to the point where they're refusing to write about the abuse accusations against her husband. This stuff was part of 2020, but it can't be part of the election now. I mean, they tried to get people kicked off of the Supreme Court for false accusations. Here you have a number of people who worked with Doug Emhoff coming forward talking about how he, hit them or it was sexual harassment or something and all of a sudden the believe all women are all silent the media is entirely ignoring it not a single person is asked about it but think about all the stuff that trump was asked about with the russian all the the discredited russian garbage he's that's still brought up today but this with dug mhoff i mean gosh he physically abused a girl in 2012 and if he had
Starting point is 01:35:45 been a republican this would have been above the fold news this would have been been the big October surprise. If he had been a Republican, if this had been, you know, situation reverse and it was Vance, that would be done. That ticket would be done. The media would see to it. But right now, they've been protecting. She is an entirely manufactured candidate. They even clean up her messes. They even clean up Doug M. Hoff's messes. The way that the media suppresses its own self by reporting this stuff. You only see things like this with like big publicity
Starting point is 01:36:20 houses, right? Or talent agencies like CAA or UTA or something like that. They get their PR people. You know, the RIA manuals out there. They get their PR people to suppress stories. That's when you see story suppression of this type unless it's, you know, now Democrat. And these are media
Starting point is 01:36:37 people who are suppressing their own reporting. It's just unbelievable. She's an entirely manufactured candidate. She stands for nothing and everyone on the left. She is, she's a vessel. She wouldn't, even if she were to win, she wouldn't be president because she wouldn't be making these decisions, just like she's not really vice president now.
Starting point is 01:36:58 She's not even part of this administration. Neither of them are. But if Doug Emhoff, because more and more people every day, there's more stuff that's coming out about this, did you even know that? Did you even know that there were other developments? If we had not talked about it on the program? No, you wouldn't know it. I mean, the fact that he knocked up his kid's nanny.
Starting point is 01:37:15 and then he was literally knocking into hitting his girlfriend at Cannes Film Festival just a few years back. I mean, she's protected. I've never seen anyone so isolated and protected and wrapped in bubble wrap. They don't want to expose her to anything. They won't expose her to the stress of making decisions either. That's the other thing. Just know, as bad as you think Kamala Harris is, if she were to win, the person who would actually be ruling instead of hers probably as bad. worse. So we are praying for everybody in the path of Hurricane Milton and all my gosh, all of the now tornadoes and everything else that are going along with it. I mean, it's really unbelievable. Just I'm watching some of the, I've been looking at some of the video footage and watching the monitors. It's just, I mean, it's,
Starting point is 01:38:19 it's a huge storm system. So everyone stays safe. It's expected to make landfall this evening. And going into later this evening early in the morning and then good heavens. So hopefully everyone who was evacuated and don't forget your pets. And I think it's only not even a couple hundred miles off
Starting point is 01:38:38 the coast of Tampa now, I think at this point, going by some of the latest satellite imagery. And so we'll have all of the latest with that. Florida says they are ready. They are ready. They are prepared to take the hit from this hurricane. They've got thousands of linemen ready to go. They've got, I mean, everything ready to haul debris to get the power back up.
Starting point is 01:39:01 Shelters are opening. Everything is organized. I mean, this is the type of response that you want to see in a situation like this. I mean, this is why people pay taxes, you know? It's like why they pay taxes. It's why they do all this. And it's, it's, when, when you see effective governing, it's pretty impressive. And so I'm just, uh, just praying for everybody there.
Starting point is 01:39:27 We got a lot of listeners in that area. We have a lot of friends. We have a lot of family. Saw another image of that tornado that was near Port St. Lucy. That's just crazy. I mean, there was like, like, four tornadoes in the span of, what, a couple hours? It just gives you an idea of just how chaotic it is. The wind, the rain, the weather, not to mention the storm surges.
Starting point is 01:39:46 So we're going to follow all of that and bring you the latest because by the time that we're all back together tomorrow, it will have made land and we're going to have an idea of exactly what we're dealing with. And in the meantime, we still have the election just weeks away. That's the other thing Florida and some of these other areas have done is they've said, that they're going to do everything. They're making sure that they have those protections in place so that people can go and vote. They don't want that access to be disrupted because of the hurricane. They don't want that. They don't want it to be disrupted because of the hurricane. So that's good. They've been really well ahead, really planning well ahead of all of this. And like I said,
Starting point is 01:40:29 tomorrow by the time we're all together, it's going to have made landfall. I mean, this is, are they saying, Kane, did they say it was going to be worse or it's slated to be worse than Hurricane Andrew? I don't know. Right now, all that is, yeah, all that is estimate. But it is just, it's like category five. It's still like right there in that category five area. Even though they're saying cat four, it's like super high cat four. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:40:54 Well, they said it's bumping back up to a cat five. Yeah, it's weird. That's weird. I mean. It's going to be huge. Yeah. So we're praying for everybody there. And also in the meantime, you know, we're also watching everything with the election and everything
Starting point is 01:41:08 with the, uh, with the poll. and making sure people are registered to vote, get out and vote. And I just, I think the best thing that Harris could do right now, because I don't even think Trump, I don't even think Trump has any, he's not even doing like any rallies or events right now. I know that they had people, they were using, weren't they using like Mar-a-Lago as like some kind of staging area for something? And everybody's pitching in.
Starting point is 01:41:29 She's literally like the only one who isn't. She's the only one who's not, she's on cool beer, drinking beer. everyone else is kind of unofficially suspended things any kind of electioneering and they've been focusing on this not her though she's out there trying to I guess take advantage of
Starting point is 01:41:48 an unopposed media blitz if you want to call it that I guess but just just wild so we're going to follow all of that as well all right it's about that time Kane for today's stupidity all right you may not like this but one it's going to be cut seven
Starting point is 01:42:04 this is stupid because she's out there doing this media blitz and you know she's not focusing on policy she's focusing on the fact that she isn't trump because they literally have nothing to run on so when she was with howard stern this is what she had to say after this question if he wins god forbid would you feel safe in this country would you stay in this country Howard i'm doing everything i can to make sure he does not win oh like what like what articulating positions and policies i don't think so I mean, I don't know. The whole, how long can Trump is Hitler last all the way to November 5th?
Starting point is 01:42:44 Is that what they're expecting? Because that's what it looks like their game plan is. Yeah, exactly. Folks, like I said, we're praying for everybody in the path of Hurricane Milton. Stay safe. And hopefully, I would, I mean, I'd love to not, you know, as we come back together tomorrow, not have any reports of fatalities or anything like that. That would be, I mean, just that's what we're, that's what everybody's praying for, I think.
Starting point is 01:43:05 but everyone stay safe. Got a lot of listeners, a lot of friends and family in that area. And so we're praying for you all for your safety and security. We will be back together tomorrow. Stay safe. Back with you then.
