Why are the decisions of this body so awful? Because there's a printing press. I had a conversation with one of my Democrat colleagues, and he said, I said, we have to make a choice. You've got to decide whether you don't want to help the poor in our country? You want to help the poor in Ukraine or help whoever you're paying in Ukraine. He says, we shouldn't have to make a choice. Well, it's like, you do have to make a choice. The fact that you think you don't have to make a choice is why we're $36 trillion in the whole.

have to make choices. Which comes first? Ukraine or America. You can't do both because we don't have enough money. We only have enough taxes coming in to pay for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and food stamps. Everything else is borrowed. So maybe able-body people need to go back to work. Maybe there needs to be a work requirement. Maybe for goodness sakes food stamps shouldn't buy sugar drinks, chips, ding-dongs, and twinkies. Yeah, he's right. He's absolutely right on this. He's absolutely right. And this, so these were just like basic. These are basic. This isn't even getting into like the big cuts for Doge. This is just can the tax cuts be made permanent? Number one, can these tax cuts be made permanent? And can we just kind of maybe even slow the rate of spending? Can we just even do that? I mean, apparently we can't. So this is just just all. all the stuff that we're that we're looking at today with all of this. It's just a disaster.

So welcome to the program. Dana Lash with you. I'm not happy about any of this. It's just a joke. I'm tired of these these ridiculous. I'm tired of these ridiculous lawmakers. I'm tired of every damn day starting the program with some other BS. And all of these people talk a really good game about it.

And we had Cornyn on yesterday. Even Josh Hall. All these people go up and they go on Fox. Oh my gosh. Everybody falls all over their own fat ass. to get on Fox, run their mouths about Doge and how they love spending, and the first chance they get, they're going to stab you in the back. It's just they're worthless.

It's a worthless party. I'm just about done with them. I'm really just about done with them. I get speaking invites from Republican parties, and I'm about to tell all of them to go pound sand. I'm done. I am just about done. If they can't even do something as simple as this, then the country is going to go to hell in a handbasket, and there it is. That's it.

It's done. I mean, let me just, you had, and I, I'm looking at the roll call from this. I mean, this is just 29 Republicans that voted with Democrats, 29 Republicans that voted with Democrats. And they, this resolution, this is the one that, that Lindsey Graham had said that they're going to come back to. And they'll come back to it. And then maybe we can get tax cuts and make them permanent. It's not going to happen. Not going to happen at all. Because then you're going to get in a midterm cycle and then that's it. That's the end of it. That's it. I mean, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that's the way it goes. So everybody gets together at like conservative

conferences and they all, and you know, while Elon Musk was pulling out a chainsaw, the Senate Republicans were doing this. How many of them went to the radio row at CPAC and were patting themselves on the back and talking about Doge. How many conservative talkers actually held them to the line? I mean, it's one thing to get whipped up into the frenzy and, yes, be excited that we're saving,

but then when they go and they vote like this, clearly they don't fear the voter enough. They don't fear the voter enough. I don't want to hear another damn thing about dividend checks. Not another damn thing about it. In addition to the $343 billion that we're spending, we've got to pay down

the deficit. and I can't even believe that they raised spending and didn't make tax cuts permanent, considering all of the scandal with the U.S. aid. Clearly they don't care. Clearly they do not care. And Rand Paul's right. You know, you can't sit here and service everything. You can't throw money, you know, you can't throw money at Ukraine and then continue government spending and et cetera, etc. You can't. I don't know. Audio's not by four. Reporter asks the White House. So

this is, we haven't even seen the deepest cuts yet. This just goes to show you these reporters don't even understand the depth of what they're asking. Audio Sunbyte 4. For either one of you. So we reported several other outlets had reported that about

3,500 people are due to be lose their jobs at the IRS by the end of the week. If the goal of these spending cuts across federal government has been to reduce the debt. Why impose some of the deepest cuts we've seen so far at the agency responsible for raising revenue for the federal government? I think our objective is to make sure that the employees that we pay are being productive and effective. And there are many, many, more than 100,000 people working to collect taxes,

and not all of them are fully occupied. And the Treasury Secretary is studying the matter and feels like 3,500 is a small number. Hmm, 3,500 is a small number. I mean, it's just, this is just a mess. It's a mess. Now, in addition to this, and we're going to come back to this as well, because there's a lot to discuss with the budget. But you also have the news coming out of Israel, the mother and her two children, and I'm looking at some of the latest reports on this. This is just horrifying. The mother, Sheri Bivas and her two children, Ariel and Kefer, Beavis eight months old, although I think he was 10 months old at the time of his death, and his brother was two. They remember yesterday, Hamas did their stupid big terrorist pageant where they had all of the coffins on the stage and you had all of the Gazans cheering for their terrorist overlords because they're terrorists too.

They were also, and they are, don't sit here and tell me that they're not when you have millions of playing close people who are pictured on video, beating the hell out of hostages, people who willingly and excitedly kept hostages in their own homes. and you even had awards of like tons of money that were offered to any Gossan resident that would give up a hostage and not a single damn one of them took the check five million dollars to give up a hostage and not a single person took that don't yeah spare me uh but apparently the mother's body wasn't even handed over it was just some Gossan woman's body so either they don't know where she is or they do and they're just still inflicting i mean either way it's just still more emotional terrorism that they're inflicting up on the the victim's families. It's horrible. We're going to talk about this too because Trump has a response to it. He's wanting to unleash. He wants to support our ally in unleashing all hell. But they discovered that the two children, they weren't shot and it wasn't an airstrike. They were beaten to death. Imagine that. So first up with this, we've got, I don't know, one economist is warning that Musk is about to cause a deep recession. I don't really care what this jackass thing. So we're deleting that headline because I don't care. I'm tired of having these partisan Marxists decide that they're going to issue these crazy

headlines and try to fearmonger everybody. into thinking that spending less is actually bad. European stocks are outpacing Wall Street. There's a lot to dive into with this. But Financial Times says that it's a surprise performance driven by lack of day one tariffs on the EU, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. I think this, too, is a little bit of leagging the dog. K9 hurricane, this is sad. The most decorated dog in U.S. history has passed away.

And this is according to their handlers. They said that this 16-year-old Belgian Malinua, who was the most decorated dog in U.S. history, was considered a special operations canine with U.S. Secret Service, became the nation's most decorated dog. Took out a White House intruder in 2014. That was under the Obama administration. That's him there. He was medically retired in 2016 because of the injuries that he sustained during the incident. And so he's won all these awards, and he's passed away.

He's gone over the Rainbow Bridge, Sweet Pup. The U.S. is weighing destroying $500 million in stockpiled COVID tests, $500 million coronavirus tests that no one has ever used. This was reported that they're looking into the cost of destroying them. I mean, weren't they sending them out for quote unquote for free to people? They said that the COVID test.gov, it shuts down at 8 p.m. this week on Tuesday. but the test would not be destroyed and they would remain in inventory until they meet their expiration date. And of course, they're saying, well, you know, the infections are decreasing after a winter peak. It's cold and flu season, you absolute half-wits, that's what it is.

And the fact that they're going to just waste half a billion dollars, again, why are we paying taxes? I'm ready for a civil war. Why are we paying taxes? This is asin. We have gotten so soft as a people. I'm just livid over all of it. Just absolutely insane. crazy. In addition to this, let's see, the Trump DOJ has dropped the Biden administration's

lawfare case against, they were trying to go after SpaceX. It was a stupid, you know, no pun intended trumped up case. They were suing Musk's Space X claiming that they were committing discrimination, that they were not hiring people, that they were allowed to hire. And then the case is actually being dropped. The DOJ filed a motion to have it dismissed with prejudice. So we have a lot more on the way. Witted progressivism, stop being cool and this heinous budget bill that we should be riding over. or it can be cycled into next year's budget and then it just lowers the overall baseline for next year. So in other words, you can just transfer into the next fiscal window and then lower the overall spending level. And that means that you can achieve a permanent savings that way, and that reduces the deficit. And when is it that people might see those checks? Well, this is all going to be worked on through the reconciliation process with Congress that's going underway right now, as you've seen, the Senate's moving a bill, the House is moving a bill. The President has great confidence in both chambers to deliver on his priorities. So this is one of the things I talked about with Carol Roth the other day, and we are both

completely against the dividend checks because that's just literally going to drive inflation further. To say otherwise, it's just simply not accurate. And I would rather have the abolishment of the IRS and have at least a year of no taxes. That would go so much further than just $5,000 going out to everybody. That's crazy. It's crazy. Some of us paid six figures into taxes, mid-six figures into taxes. And we're told that the government's going to spend more. They're going to spend more now because of the stupid budget bill that they passed in the Senate. And by the way, it's a budget bill that Trump did not want. He was very adamant that he wanted the House's really in-depth big, big budget bill.

that got into a lot more cutting of spending, et cetera. And further, there was also the establishment of making his tax cuts permanent. And that's not what they did. That's not what Republican senators did last night. And I am livid. I told you this is going to happen. Let me just set this up as to what you can expect

if this is the way that they keep working with everything. So we've got this, this, you have the high. House, you have the House bill, and that's, again, that's the one that Trump had posted about on True Social. And then you have this Senate bill. And the Senate bill is the one that was looking at $343 billion increase in spending, mostly looking at, it was mostly defense spending. There was some spending that was going towards the border, but a lot of it was defense spending. So it was a big increase there, and they did not address the tax cuts. No, no, did not make the tax cuts permanent at all. So those are going to expire. Everybody's taxes are going to go up. Yeah. How,

How well does that work for POTUS going into midterms, by the way? The promise that Lindsey Graham and these other Senate Republicans gave for this budget bill was that, well, they'll come back later this year. They'll come back later this year. And then that's when they're going to, they'll look at, you know, maybe perhaps extending those tax cuts or making them permanent. They'll deal with it later in the year. When have they ever done that? what have they ever actually come back and made good on this promise and implemented the second half of any kind of economic proposal that they used as an excuse just to get through this moment?

When have they ever made? Never. I mean, it's rhetorical. They never have. They never have. It's, I think it's disastrous. This was the first test of the swamp versus the swamp versus the, the voters in Doge and the Swamp one. There's no other, I can't sugarcoat it for you. Anyone who tells you otherwise either doesn't know what's going on or they hate you. I mean, I really don't know how else to put it. Everybody should be outraged over this. And a lot of these lawmakers, I want to know what the excuses are.

So I haven't seen a justification of this vote yet. Haven't seen it yet. I've had the roll call. that I put up there. Rand Paul, I actually undersold him. I said 1.4. It was 1.5 trillion. He had an amendment last night that sought to actually cut spending by $1.5 trillion. Now think about that. That's pretty crazy. And 29 of 53 Republicans voted it down. So I'm going to say that again. He wanted, and these were all, by the way, These were all based on what, because a lot of people argue over real cuts that Doge is making.

Like, is it real? Is it? A lot of these were in line with Doge recommendations. So, yeah, a lot of them are actually real cuts. 29 of the 53 Republicans could not back cutting $1.4 trillion out of $89 trillion in projected spending. Is it, it's really insane to wrap your head around numbers like this. what Juan is showing you right now if you're watching on Rumble where the chatters or channel 347 direct TV, the simulcast. This is the roll call of the amendment. This is this is

Rand Paul's amendment. So 29 of the 53 Republicans could not affirm support. They could not cut 1.4 trillion out of what, 89 in projected, 89 trillion in projected spending 22 trillion with projected deficits. So really, I mean, it's a lot. It's probably a lot higher than that if we're being honest about it. That's, I mean, there's no excuse for this. So this was, they adopted the other, the $42 billion increase. They'll allow for a slower rate of spending over the next four years. You got to be kidding me.

So they couldn't, and Rand Paul also didn't want any extra spending. And he wanted to work towards a real estate. sustained GDP growth. That's all, everything that he wanted in his bill, or his amendment, excuse me, everything that he wanted in his amendment. And Senate Republicans voted a town. And by Senate Republicans, I mean, almost a 29 of 53. They don't include the tax cuts, as I said.

Reuters at first rep-I know, Reuters. You know, they got our tax money. They did not make those permanent. The vote tally, 52 to 40. Rann Paul, he voted against it. He voted against the bill. He was what? The only Republican to actually stand firm and be consistent. The only one in the Senate. Yes. Out of all of those, out of the Blackburns and the cruises and everybody else. Yes, you're right. He was the only senator that was consistent. Now, if you remember the House bill, House Republicans, they wanted to, to, extend the $4.5 trillion in tax cuts. But it's a lot harder there.

They've got a 218 to 215 majority. That's the problem with picking house people for your cabinet, by the way. They've got a very narrow majority. They barely have a majority in the house. Barely. But that's where the good plan came from.

Senate plans trash. So I don't know. I weren't going to get extended tax cuts. Let's just be honest about it now. We're never going to get those tax cuts extended in 2017. They're dead. Republicans are never going to do it. They couldn't even, guys, they are not going to be any stronger than they are right now. Do you think in four months time when midterm starts and people have to start filing to run and all of this and then all of their donations are going to be watched and all of the, all of the opposition research and the

narratives against them by Democrats. Let's start. Do you think they're going to be braver then to do this stuff? The time to do it was now when you have all the momentum right after an election, when Trump has all this goodwill, he's got a 53% approval rating. Some people were trying to argue, I was listening to cable news this morning. Some people, some of these operatives were trying to argue that, well, you know, there have been other lawmakers or other presidents that have had really high ratings before. No, actually his at this point is like the highest. this is when you are at your strongest and they failed to they didn't have the balls to even do it now they will not get any stronger as the weeks go by they will not get any stronger so this is the

reality of the situation we're not going to get the tax cuts those aren't going to be made permanent our taxes are going to go up we're going to have more spending more taxes you guys feel real good about that right after the U.S. AIDS scandal, you know, with all of our hundreds of millions of dollars of our hard-earned money going towards everything from, I mean, the one that I can't get my mind around is how do you spend millions of dollars on a study about flavored cigarettes and lesbian obesity? I would be, that's one of the dumbest things ever, or how do you spend the amount of money that you do on Stacey Abrams and climate change? millions and millions of dollars

that becomes billions when you start adding it up I don't know I'm without words without words so this is like I said we're not going to get the this is going to imperil midterms and that's what I think a lot of this $5,000 thing is for

Doge sending these checks out these dividends I'm going to be very frank about it. It's a bribe. It's what it is. Now, people can get mad about that. And I understand that people want relief. Right? I understand that people want relief.

And I got this, where is it? I should revive hate mail. Because there are some people that are, I had somebody that wrote and they were super upset. And they said that, that I guess what that people who don't understand the dividends like they we don't get it well I actually had on an investment banker and an economist to explain that to you uh to this drive by that road in they were livid they're like well why can't I get my 5,000 dividend uh why isn't that enough because that's sort

of spending without any kind of significant cuts uh and it and it's like a it's that where's where's the money coming from no one can even answer that that's not that's not that's not The remedy. The remedy is cutting spending and cutting taxes, but they can't, they can't commit to it. So they think that if they pull a Biden, and by they, I mean the Republicans that are coming up with, I'm not a fan of the dividend because I feel like it's so much like the student reform promise or the student tuition promise, right? The college tuition, like, oh, let's go ahead and make it all free for everyone. I mean, I understand why they're doing it, but it doesn't mean I agree with it. It just makes it even more wrong to me. Because people want to, they want to show that, look, we're saving something and here you're getting something back.

So the goodwill towards this continues. Because they know that austerity whenever proposed always, always is unpopular. And people can say now that they like these cuts, but when you start seeing what actually has to be cut and what actually has to be done, that's going to get really hard. And the real ones are going to be separated from the ones who were just talking. real fast. We're already seen it in the Senate. So this is they just voters are going to get disillusioned and they're going to get mad.

You are threatening midterm success. I mean, I look at these Republicans that voted on this and I kind of want to ask each and every one of them. Are you secretly trying to tank chances for midterms? Are these Republicans

trying to ruin and give up their majority in Congress. Are they trying to early lame duck potus? Because that's how you do it. His hands are going to be tied if they don't make these executive orders, if they do not enshrine them in congressional permanence with legislation. And so far they're not doing it. We're going to come back to this. Gaza, the story of Shiri Beavis and her children.

They're starting to let some of the details come out now. But those little babies that were that were kidnapped and taken hostage, apparently they were literally physically beaten to death. Remember how it was claimed? Hamas said that they were killed in an Israeli airstrike. Well, that never happened. It didn't happen. And we all knew it didn't. Apparently they were beaten to death and strangled.

And then they tried to destroy their remains to the point where they couldn't, they thought that they could do enough damage on the children's remains that Israeli forensic investigators in their corners, et cetera, could not determine cause of death. Well, I mean, that just goes to show you stupid Hamas, because you absolutely can't figure out cause of death no matter what you are doing with these remains. Horrific. And it took them a long time to identify the baby's remains because he didn't have a. enough teeth yet. Yeah, I think these details need to be out there because this is what Gaza is. It does XYZ and all of this. You know, that's and this was obviously a joke, but it could be true. Although I don't want him to sign an executive order banning skinny jeans because I like skinny jeans. I just don't like skinny jeans on men. Any men, youth pastors are not. No men should wear skinny jeans. Like wear regular relaxed fit. You don't need skinny jeans. Those are for ladies. And then they're not for every lady. Just like high-waisted pants are not for every lady. But I just thought that was hysterical.

It was really well done. I mean, the guy had the tone down. It was great. So that's my favorite thing about Trump signing the executive orders is the guy standing next to him running down what everything is and then Trump quipping about every single one of them and then moving and signing. It's funny. A little bit of levity because now we've got to go back to the seriousness.

Apparently, the mother, Shiri Bebis, was not returned. They had four coffins. one was an elderly man. One was supposed to be Sherry Beavis

and the other two little ones, her children. The four-year-old and then 10-month-old at the time of his death. And they had those mislabeled. So the 10-month-old was actually the 4-year-old's coffin. The 4-year-old's coffin was a 10-month-old. That was apparently on purpose. And you saw, you know, the video of these terrorists that were taking their coffins to the stage.

And they had different colored headband. on the different colored headbands signify which terrorist group they're with. So the green headbands were Hamas, the yellow headbands were the quote unquote Palestinian because it's a fake word for a fake ethnicity, a fake land and a fake people that haven't ever existed, nor is it supported by thousands of years of antiquity. That's the governing authority that supposedly controls the West Bank, but you know Hamas really does. They were different terrorist groups. They had the Red Cross there. The Red Cross sat on stage and signed off on receiving of the coffins. It was all a big theater.

They had music playing. It looked like a festival. You know, thousands of Ghazans were in the streets celebrating. I mean, there's tons of video, so there's no way to lie about it. And that's apparently the woman that was in. The fourth coffin is some random Ghazan woman. Not Shiri Bebas. And Hamas actually said, okay, well, can you give that one back?

Not making it up. That's insane. They paraded them out on that stage where they had Netanyahu, who I guess was supposed to look like a vampire, and they were trying to blame Israel for their deaths. But as it was discovered, these children were apparently brutally physically beaten and strangled to death, a month into captivity. So they didn't even last for a month. And they were separated from their mother. So who knows where their mother is? They have no idea.

Nobody has any idea. I mean, Hamas probably does. Here's the other problem, too. The location of a lot of the hostages, and we learn this from the ones that had been released, it's not necessarily always Hamas that has custody of them. It is a lot of the random everyday people in Gaza because they love Hamas. I can't underscore this enough.

this is why you cannot have a two-state solution. And Hamas doesn't even want one. It's in their charter that they will never have one. That's why they're actually more popular than Fata, which does, which will commit begrudgingly to a two-state solution. But Hamas won't. The hostages that have been released were saying that they even had been exchanged and traded between regular, gosh, citizen and that not even every Hamas member was uniformed and not every Ghazan you know that they said that a lot of the citizens there were I mean it

was pretty much like they were Hamas because of the way that they were that they were kept and how they were treated and they offered there was a reward that was offered even millions of dollars offered to Gazans hey if you have Israeli or American hostages, can you hand them over and they didn't do it? Nobody took it up. Nobody wanted millions of dollars to hand over innocent hostages. So that's what we're dealing with here. That's why I say you are looking at generationally programmed terror. It's unbelievable. And the mother, I don't even know if they know she's alive because it's one of the things in the statements,

the IDF didn't really, I'm sure obviously they're investigating it, but so far they haven't, there's no word on her location or her body's location. They said that they're just, the family is still waiting to learn the fate, her fate. They don't know. So you had a 68 year old UK link journalist,

Oded Lifshitz who was really, who his body was given over. And then they

did the IDF. They had trouble from what I read with baby Kiefer Kfir Kfir

Bebus because he didn't have enough teeth yet to really identify him. But they

could tell from apparently what's been widely reported the injuries that the body sustained

are consistent with brutal physical beatings and then the injuries around the neck

strangulation. so they didn't shoot them. It wasn't an aerial assault. They beat them to death in the tunnels and the dark. Because that's where they kept everybody. I mean, it's just, it's horrific. And they don't know at how, they don't know when they were separated from their mother. They don't know anything like that.

They don't know. They just no, no idea. So I can't even imagine what that family is living through. Trump obviously not happy because he he has said repeatedly, you know, you're either going to release these people or there's going to be hell to pay. And this is not a, the agreement was that it would be Sherri Bebis's body. And it wasn't. So that's, and that's how Israel is interpreting it.

And apparently the Trump administration is looking at, at it similarly that that demonstrates a breach of agreement because they didn't even hand over. They didn't even hand her over. Didn't even hand her over. So they and they have no idea where she is. So Trump obviously livid because now what does that mean for the fate of the remaining hostages? I mean, we went through gosh, how many, I'm pulling this story up, but we went through what? how many how many months where we had a number of American hostages and the Biden administration showed no concern at all whatsoever? So, POTUS, I don't think that that's going to move him away from endorsing Israel going

scorched earth. In fact, I think it pretty much sealed the deal because the deal was that you hand over these hostages or you risk complete annihilation. And I don't know if they're, I don't. I don't, honestly, for the ones that are dead, and I think at this point probably all the hostages are, I don't even think you'll get their remains back. I don't even think that Shereebis's remains will ever be returned to her family. I don't, I don't think that she's alive. I hate saying that, but I just don't think that the lover get her remains back. They literally thought that they could just put in some random gauzin woman in the coffin and hand it over. And then they actually had the audacity to say, well, can you go ahead and hand that one back? I mean, they, Hamas gave them a list of six hostages that they wanted released, or there are 602 prisoners that they wanted released in exchange for these hostages.

I don't think that, at that point, I don't think that Israel should hand over a single damn prisoner. Because the prisoners that they took into custody, and this is something that either it's the biased media or it's people who are just anti-Semites or it's just Hamas that are running with these stories, the people that they took into custody are literally people that were caught trying to murder innocence, whether it was shooting them, whether it was trying to blow them up, whether they were suicide bombers. It's not like they went over to Gaza and kidnapped people and then took their own hostages. That's what Hamas wants you to believe.

These were terrorists that were acting in coordination with Hamas that were trying to commit mass atrocities. That's why they were taken and imprisoned. And Hamas, this is what this is what gives us. me. This story, let me pull this up because this is a French press. Hamas pretended to be surprised by the news that it wasn't Shari Beavis's body in that coffin. And then they literally asked for the body back. In a statement, they reiterated its claim that there may have been, quote, an error or a mix-up. And Hamas called on Israel to return to Gaza the body of the body of the.

the Ghazan woman that it handed over yesterday in place of Shiri. That's, wow. This is just psychological terror. That's all they're doing here. That's all they're doing. It's amazing to me that they even asked for the body back. I mean, not like Hamas cares about its own people that they govern.

I mean, for crying out loud. I mean, they put their headquarters underneath a hospital. I don't, I don't, I feel like you have a people that keep, voting for war because they support Hamas. And at some point, I mean, enough is enough. When is it going to be enough? I mean, how many more babies have to be stuffed into ovens or beaten to death and strangled in dark tunnels for the world to go, you know what, let Israel take care of this problem?

Because Israel can handle it. The problem is everyone else trying to weigh in on their decision. They need to just turn the whole strip to glass. Because you cannot have a two-state solution with an entity that doesn't want it and an entity that has a populace, a population generationally predisposed by way of multiple generations of brainwashing terror and supporting terrorism. Why do you think Egypt wants none of these people within their territories? Why do you think Jordan does not want to accept any Ghazan refugees? Why do you think Lebanon doesn't want them?

Why do you think Qatar won't even take them? They'll take Hamas leaders and that's it. There's a reason why literally no other Arab nation wants refugees from that strip. Because whenever they come in, there is war. There is conflict. There is death. Go back and look at Lebanon in the 70s. Go back and look what happened in Egypt.

Go back and look what happened any time that's happened that they've had refugees that they've taken. That's why they don't do it. So why should Israel be forced to? Or anybody else? It's just sad. The Democratic Party has in some ways become too much seen by too many Americans as the party of elites and institutions that have failed them.

And so I worry that the party of working people, the self-styled party of working people is perceived by working people as elite and disdainful and remove from their experience. So that's David Axelrod kind of giving like a post-mortem of what has gone wrong with the Democrat Party.

Now, keep in mind that when I say, when I'm talking about progressivism, because I asked this question on X last night, and I am fascinated by the responses to this, I asked, when do you think progressivism became uncool? And by uncool, what I mean is, and you know this, and you know this, everyone and everything that was considered included in our cultural zeitgeist was liberal slash progressive. Like Reagan Rue in the world were liberal for liberals. So now they changed it to progressive.

Hollywood, art, academics, all of it. In order to be seen in those industries or be considered of influence in those industries, you have. to be from the left, right? That's just the nature. That's something you all accept. You know that if you're, not that you would, but if you were to watch the Oscars, you know that it's going to be all leftist stuff, right?

That's just the way it is. So that's, that was accepted. It was always considered cool, right? The left was always portrayed as being the, quote unquote, open minded or intellectual and deep thinking kind of movement, right? They wanted the veneer

of classical liberalism while being illiberal themselves. So that's what I mean when I say, cool. Not like anyone thought they were hip or anything like that, but that's what I mean by this. And I was thinking about this last night because I read this piece over at, where is it at? It's the Wall Street Journal. And it was called, quote,

how MAGA is taking back the culture. and the subhead is in sports, entertainment, and marketing displays of conservatism are crowding out progressive postures. And it was a, it's an interesting piece. And I cited it in my substack piece that I sent out to all of you subscribers yesterday. So like for instance, this is what the article says. Instead of taking a knee to call for social justice, NFL players are now doing the Trump dance in the end zone of full. ball games. Mainstream entertainers among them, the country singer Carrie Underwood, and even rapper Snoop Dog, agreed to perform at events celebrating Donald Trump's inauguration, something the Wall Street Journal ads, music stars largely shunned eight years ago. A new generation of Trump-friendly comedians and wellness influencers are populating YouTube and other social media while a snippet of audio featuring Baron and Melania has become one of the hottest online memes and celebrities such as Paris Hilton and brands,

including Frontier Airlines, use it in their TikTok and Instagram posts. And I was thinking about this. I'm like, so think about how hard the left had to work to go at Trump and make him look toxic. Like it was very contrived.

And it took all of the left and it took all of their influence in academia, and it took all of Hollywood and all of the film industry and the music industry and everybody in the media, magazines, you know, it doesn't matter if it was a news media. It could be vogue. It took every, all of these people colluded, they all worked together, just contrived hatred for not just Trump, but the right. And look how fast it dissipated after the election.

Look at how quickly. Look how quickly. That is, that's the other aspect of this that is so fascinating to me. It entirely dissipated after the election, except for maybe a few strongholds within the left, right? And they made an entire industry out of fomenting hate for Trump and for the right, an entire industry. And then when voters got the chance to choose between normal and bad crap crazy, they choose normal. They chose normal. It was the normie election, right? They wanted normal prices, normal lives, normal bills, normal problems, normal things, a normal society, a normal world. They weren't asking for the world. They just wanted normalcy. all they wanted. You had Democrats like James Carville to his credit. Now, I think he's wrong about so many things. But he's not unreasonable. I think he plays up the nastiness for the base sometimes.

But he was sounding the alarm on this forever ago. And we played those audio soundbites on air. And you just heard David Axelrod. David Axelrod started about a year or so ago. Warning about, well, wait a minute. Do the radicals know what they're going to get? if they keep pushing this because they were watching voter enthusiasm. They were watching voter turnout amongst the left for midterms and then municipal elections and things like that. And they were also watching the coalition dwindle. You might remember, I think it was 10 years ago. No, I think it was longer than 10 years ago. When Democrats changed their plan, they changed their platform. They used to have pro-life Democrats in the Democrat Party.

You used to have Democrats like Zell Miller, even like Joe Manchin, who's now an independent. Kirsten Cinema, they are actually considered moderates now because the party went so far ideologically left that they ran out even mildly pro-life Democrats. They would primary pro-life Democrats. There were certain issues that Democrats would allow for disagreement on so long as they came together on everything else, the 80-20, right? But something happened and they changed their platform and they ran them out.

They began going after them. They wanted complete and total ideological and cultural. hegemony. They wanted everything to be uniform. No daylight. Contrast that with what you've seen from the right. Just in the past eight years, maybe a little longer. It's caused some problems that aren't, you know, huge, but it's been a very, it's kind of tricky to navigate, and it is a burgeoning coalition that the right created, where you have the old, you have the old, school evangelical Republicans that are sitting next to, you know, maybe libertarian folks or shaved head, you know, they call them freaks probably back in the day. You know, like alternative type

people who agree with them on 80 percent, but maybe not on 20 percent. So there's this like very interesting coalition that they've, that the right has been able to create. And the left used to be the valedictorians at making coalitions. And now it's like they don't even know how to anymore. And now it's the right. When you start, that, that helped to normalize a lot of the things that the right wanted to do. So I asked this yesterday, I'm like, when did progressivism become uncool? Because they were, as I said, in the beginning, I don't mean like cool like you think it's up. I mean, they were the standard ideology for all of art, film, music, everything. And I don't know if it was when women started wearing pink-knitted vaginal hats, or when Hillary Clinton tried to

pretend that she was down with Black America by having hot sauce in her bag. Or, as someone suggested, maybe it was when they tried to mentally force feed kids trans ideology in the most inappropriate and uncomfortable of ways. Or maybe it was when they made everyone stay indoors for two years and wear useless masks and inject themselves with experimental non-vaccines that were actually more therapeutic because they didn't provide any immunity at all whatsoever, and they sent people to jail for trying to pay their bills. Or maybe it's when they stopped being able to take a joke. And they chose to be constantly offended all the time. Or maybe it's when they started writing and burning things down. I don't know. I do know. I think the epitaph,

of cool progressivism ended with Kamala Harris. I think she's the epitaph of it. When they sent her on podcasts with people she didn't even know because they were trying to get her to plant her flag in the cultural sphere and she fell on her face. One of the great answers I got, Alyssa Anna Ziegler said, quote, when their policy preferences shifted

from focusing on intangible intellectual things, like pushing welfare and taxing the rich to public displays of men dressed as women, kids watching drag, men competing against women. That's a really good point. Like Gamergate, smearing masculinity, mocking traditionally American values, people got so tired of this nonstop grievance industry.

Nobody likes a person who's always negative or combative or perpetually looking for offense. They don't like that. And it doesn't matter if it's political or not. So this has been a shift decades in the making. Some of the answers that I got and there were hundreds of them are so good. Like someone said, when they started being more for war than peace, that was one of the responses I got. When they came after the kids, when they came after sports, when they stopped talking.

about the issues that mattered to Americans and began focusing on the issues that only mattered to Hollywood was one answer. Someone said when they left the blue collar voter behind, I thought that was very interesting too, because remember, that was another thing that Democrats used to be known for, right? And then I love the answers from some people who were like, well, it was never cool for my perspective. And again, I'm talking about like generally society. It was very, very interesting responses. I wanted to play this, if we have time, really quickly. Put-Booty Juice, his audio on this.

This was, sorry, audio sound bite 13, listen. A little bit of that venue described, and it was a caricature of everything that's wrong with our ability, both to cohere as a party and to reach to those who don't always agree with us. And we cannot go on like that. We cannot. I also think that we believe in the values that we care about for a reason. And this is not about abandoning the...

values. It's about making sure we're in touch with the first principles that animate them. What do we mean when we talk about diversity? Is it caring for people's different experiences and making sure no one's mistreated because of them, which I will always fight for? Or is it making people sit through a training that looks like something out of Portlandia, which I have also experienced. And it is how Trump Republicans are made if that comes to your workplace with the best of intentions. I will say, now he's repeating stuff that Carville has said. but you have to remember because they were saying that they want their party back

like they got to take their party back and I'm like what to what like the zygote stage of insane illiberal anti-science Marxism like what do you mean back to what? Because nobody's there. All the people most everybody left they became independence or they went and voted for Trump

these are operatives that used far left activists as pawns for the Democrat Party they needed agitators when it came time to get out the vote but they messed up because they were determined to keep these agitators happy. And so they placated them so they could use them in the future. So they adopted their stances. They enshrined them in the Democrat Party.

And they adopted them and made their issues part of their platform. So they're part of this problem. David Axelrod was part of the Valerie Jarrett orchestration of Obama Biden. Most of the original Democrats are gone. Democrats use judgment and harassment to keep members in line. and the right makes everybody focus on the 80-20 rule. Last quick thing on this. I love this point that a listener made.

They said, quote, it was never cool because it was never progressive. It has always been about regressive. It never moves society forward. It's always been about breaking society. I think that's exactly right. Because it was exactly that. I mean, progress where? Progress with what?

Bigger government more? taxes, more border chaos, everyone on prescription drugs? Like what? It was about breaking society because it was only ever a Marxist counter to the conservation of individual liberty, which is what conservatism is. And it nearly damn near did break society. But people woke up and they looked around and they voted accordingly. I don't know how the rest of the story is going to go, but I know for certain Democrats won't be the ones leading it for now. who says the goofiest stuff day in and day out. I really don't know. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you are at the top of this third hour in the program. And that was Texas's Jasmine Crockett. She's saying, she's rooting for Canada and she's written for Mexico. She said, but they're the one speaking truth to power. What does that phrase mean?

That's so stupid. Speaking truth to power, that's just like some Kamala Harris word salad nonsense. I've heard this phrase over and over again. and I'm just like, what does that even mean? Speaking truth. That's a stupid phrase that people say when they have nothing else to fill the space with. I mean, there's truth and then there's a lie. So what is truth to power?

It doesn't make any sense. I don't get it. She just doesn't like the United States. That's okay. So she's backing Canada and Mexico because she's, I guess, happier with them. She's happier with the president of Mexico who doubled down on her defense of cartels. because she was upset that POTUS, that they're designating these like seven different cartels as terrorist entities, which they are, by the way. I mean, it's kind of crazy that Mexico hasn't done it first, but here we are.

I think that says her statement says way more about her than it does about the administration. I mean, it really does. I mean, she can go and live in Mexico and Canada if she likes it so much more. and just see if her quality of life has improved or if she finds that she is freer in either of those countries than she is in the United States. I think that she just, one of the reasons I think that these, some of these lawmakers on the left come out and say these stupid things is because they're trying to get famous. And they know that we live in a clickbait culture.

That's why you see certain things on social media, especially with some folks that are kind of on the left. And I see it with some on the right, but I definitely see the people on the left. They say these crazy things. Many of them, I will say, believe it. But they do it because they want the interaction. They want people, they want the feedback because they subscribe to that belief that, well, you know, bad press is better than no press. And so that's what they subscribe to.

And I think that's what you're seeing with her because they saw AOC do it. and AOC made it like her whole schick, right? And I think that Jasmine Crockett is looking at that model and saying, well, I'm going to do this for myself. And that's why she goes out and says the stuff that she does. But she's free to go. You know, she likes it so much. She can go and live in any of those countries and see how much, how freer she is. Just this, it's just goofy.

This is just asinine stuff. Some of the stuff we've been talking about and covering has been this budget bill, which I'm livid about, and you should be upset about as well. People have been asking if they think Trump will veto it. I don't know that he will. And I don't know that he won't either. But I don't know that he will. And the reason I say that is, and so far they haven't telegraphed just. quite yet, you know, what they're, what they're, what they're going to do with us. But I really feel like he wants to get going and do as much as possible. Of course, he's not going to be able to do that if Congress isn't making permanent all of this stuff. Because otherwise, I mean, he's just not going to, you're going to have whoever comes in, heaven forbid, if we get a Democrat that comes in in in 2028, which we will. You'll know, you'll know that if we start losing, if we lose the House,

we could lose the House in midterms. We could lose the Senate. I mean, the Senate, we have a little bit more room in the Senate, but the House is razor thin. If we lose one or both chambers and midterms, there's a really good chance. I think we'll have a Democrat in 28, which is a terrifying prospect, because you have to think all of this stuff that Trump is doing right now, they will literally spend their first several days on doing every bit of it. And it will be just as historic because they will have done every bit of everything that Trump has done because Congress didn't make any of it permanent. You have to accompany it with legislation because it's only in effect for as long as he's in office. And I think I really, I really want him to

veto it and fight it. But I don't know if he will because there, is so much that must be done and this is where leadership is really going to get tested. His leadership is really going to get tested. And just the reality of the situation is, and this is with anybody who's in, and I don't think that, I think Trump is a little bit more protected from this than most previous Republican presidents, but the reality is still the reality that as a president starts heading towards the end of their term and they term out, they do start losing that influences other perspectives rise. And he really has to act on this time right now when he has the most momentum, the most power to get this stuff done. So if he was going to veto it and have this fight with them,

this is the time to do it. I don't know if he's going to do it. So that's something that we're all kind of holding our breath and waiting to see. I think it's worth it for him to do. And I think if he doesn't fight them on this stuff, then he is underestimating his own influence. These lawmakers are counting on him to underestimate his ability to put pressure on them. And I think that this is actually, I do think that this is a blind spot, a blind spot for Trump. He's got people in his ear telling him where to put pressure on that. But I hope that he also has people in his ear saying, you know what, all of these people that just voted to not extend your tax cuts and provide relief to the American people will feel the pressure if you just apply it. And he is safe from having to play

chess because he's not counting. Granted, he's going to count on some of these people to get his two to solidify. And it's not just his agenda. Hell, we all voted for it. So I want people to stop saying it's the Trump agenda. It's our agenda. And that's what these people in Congress need to realize. If they're voting, they're not standing against Trump's agenda.

They're standing against the voters agenda. What the voters chose. I voted for this. I voted for tax cuts. I voted for cutting spending. You voted for this. We all came out together in support of this. So don't let them weasel out of this.

their duty to you by just saying, oh, well, it's the Trump agenda. It's your agenda. It's our agenda. That's how he needs to put pressure on these lawmakers. You've seen him apply pressure in other lesser areas before. He doesn't have to worry about playing political chess because he's not up for re-election. After this, he's probably going to go and retire to Mar-Lago and, you know, play golf with his grandkids and enjoy life. He can still be a kingmaker for Mar-Lago. He can still be a kingmaker from Mar-Lago, but he doesn't have to worry about netting the support of some of these lawmakers or some of these other donors for another re-election. He is free to put on the pressure. I'm telling you, this is the time that he's got to do it. As the weeks go by and we roll into midterms and everyone

starts filing and they start their campaigns for office or re-election campaigns, you're going to lose a lot of that willingness to. to come to the table and invoke some serious cuts. I think that they can. I'm going to pull this up to you because, you know, I will say, Bill Clinton even cut, I can't even believe I'm saying this, he did actually cut a lot of government, I will say. He did shrink the federal government.

Now, this is back. Here's my caveat. this is back before Democrats were fully nuts. Okay. This is when they still had moderates. They still had pro-life Democrats. I'm not defending them because they were still wrong on almost everything. But this is when they were in the fetus level of fully realized Marxism.

Okay. So he did actually cut. Now, the other caveat to that is he cut government so then they could turn around and push Hillary care. So I do recognize that. but he did cut hundreds of thousands from the federal workforce. That is true. And do you know what's so funny is I've seen, let me pull this up. This is, this was USA Today.

So one of the things that the press is trying to do, because they, for the first time, I've seen the Democrat Party and the press not on the same page. Usually they're like pretty, they're in like, they're cohesive. And Democrats can't get their messaging right. They're having an existential crisis. Meanwhile, you do have at least, well, not at least. You do have some smarter people in the press that are seeing this. And they're like, oh, my gosh, we've got to figure out a way to salvage this.

So I'm starting to see this narrative emerge. People went back into history. And they started looking, well, when did a Democrat do this? And now here's Bill Clinton. They're leaving out the fact that Bill Clinton used this as justification for massively expanding government health care with Hillary care, which was a disaster, by the way. absolute disaster. That's like her biggest anchor. But he did cut about 400,000 jobs from the federal workforce. Again, he had an ulterior motive. But so Democrats are going back and say, oh, no,

no, no, this isn't, Trump isn't the first to do this. Look at what Clinton did. So they're, they actually like it because it used to be part of Democrats messaging, but they lost it when they went full-on Marxism. So now they're trying to like look back, oh no, back way back in the 90s. When some of you weren't alive, Bill Clinton cut this mini from the federal workforce. Oh, he did it before Trump. So you like it. So wait a minute. It's either we're having a constitutional meltdown because we're cutting government jobs or, hey, we're cutting government jobs. Bill Clinton did it first, so we're better. Which is it? Losers? Which is it? Pick a narrative. You can't have it both ways. Can't have it both ways. In fact, Al Gore had a,

I'm going to put this in like, this was a Reuters photo. And this was one of the USA Today pieces. Al Gore had a press conference. This was back before he was asking masseuses to release his chakra. He had this press conference and it was the, make sure I get this right, the National Performance Review Initiative. It was a Pentagon briefing. He had William Cohen, who was the Defense Secretary at the time, they announced that they were cutting 28,000 jobs from U.S. military civilian bureaucracy, right? And he said that they were trying to do this to work towards a balanced budget. And he held up this book called Business-Leg Government. And this was during this whole move to cut the federal workforce and cut some of the redundancy

and cut a lot of the bureaucracy. So now USA Today's writing this. There was something, I think it was a Wall Street Journal, Time magazine had noted it on their website. Now they think, at least some of the media, and I think they're trying to get the Democrats to catch on. Now they're trying to argue that, no, no, no, government cuts are okay when Democrats are doing it.

And again, I want to reemphasize this. It was done as a caveat. The caveat to this is it was done to make Hillary care more tolerable to the American public so that they could go out and say, we cut all these jobs. Oh, by the way, we're going to be doing this massive expanse. And Hillary Care, as you know, didn't happen. It was a total failure. And she fell on her face. But that's the only reason they did it.

They didn't really care about shrinking government. They did it because they were actually trying to expand it elsewhere. But at least they understood the optics of it. So I just find this fascinating that the media is like, wait a minute, they are, which are they okay or are they not okay to cut this amount of bureaucracy from the government, our sponsors that help bring you the program. Well, you better do it. You better do it because you're not going to get any federal funding at all if you don't. If he does this to Republicans in the Senate, like, no, no, no, this is not what the people voted for. They voted for tax cuts. Where are my tax cuts? Do you know the support he would get? Do you know the support he would get for that?

I'm you can't see but I have chills right now if he did that if potus pushed back on weak Republicans and said give me what I want you will cement my executive orders into law with legislation and you will do it and he had I would march to protest in support of it in D.C. Hells yes I would. Oh my gosh please make this happen. This is the Trump we need to deal with these jokers in the Senate. We need it. The, the margin is so small in the house and and it was the house that gave him the bill he wanted. And by he wanted, I mean that we voted that we wanted that we voted for, you know, tax cuts and reduced spending and all this stuff. It was a great first like kick out right out of the gate. And then the Senate's like, me, me, here you go, 343 billion and more

spending. No tax cuts. Oh, maybe we'll come back and do it. more. Maybe we won't. This is, if he, if he reacted to those Republicans with this energy and threatened to veto it, they would have to comply. I regret to inform the Republicans in the Senate that they do not have the kind of support that Potus has. Maybe I'll want to learn something from it. See, you can sit here and extol the virtues of the cruises and the blackburns and all these other folks. But with voters, it is what have you done for me,

lately. We just watched two weeks. We woke up every morning depressed because we saw what our money's being spent on. And then they voted not to give us tax relief. Not even that. They voted not to even extend the tax cuts. And they voted for more spending. What? So if these Republicans think that they have support, their support stops with the last good thing that they did for voters. You get potus swashbuckling in there doing this saying you better vote for this

or I will, oh my gosh, please inject it into my veins. That my, that soundbites my new best friend now. It's my best friend and I'm going to refer to it forever. And I will play it. The chat wants to play it nonstop. I know, I will play, I promise one more. time before we end the segment. I will, Juan's going to just do it now. You got the chat's

This is one of the best ones. This is one of the best ones. This is, this is exactly what we want to see. Can you believe the, first off, think about this for a minute.

I'm going to, I'm pulling out, this is one of the things I'm doing on break here. Or actually, while that was playing, I'm pulling up, he actually did really well in Massachusetts. I got to say, he did very, very well in Massachusetts. And he, in looking at this, he did, he performed. formed better than previous Republicans there. I mean, well, Romney did kind of good there, but that was, you know, Romney because he had been and

was governor there. But, I mean, they already have election 2028 polls out now. Just, I'm going to jump off my roof. But he did incredibly well in Massachusetts. Massachusetts, I mean, it's a blue state, but he ended up performing better than he did in 2016.

And those issues, and this is what I'm pulling up, is my saved exit data. So Massachusetts, they were immigration, inflation, inflation, inflation, those were all huge issues. And then also men's men's and women's sports as well. These are all major issues. Or sorry, Maine, not Massachusetts. Maine, he did, I'm actually looking at Maine,

I'm staying Massachusetts and I have no idea why I'm sorry. I'm looking at all of this information. He performed better in Maine. Actually, I don't even have Massachusetts up. So I don't know how I did. He performed better in Maine than he did in 2016. And it was inflation, immigration. And then there was a lot of movement on men's and women's sports.

And there were a lot of parents that were up in arms in Maine about that. There were a lot of school board battles. I mean, it was not, it wasn't, those. battles like in Virginia or in our town and Texas, it wasn't an outlier. It was, that's like, that was sort of the, that's the mainstream standard as to where voters were. And Maine's a pretty blue, Maine's a pretty blue state. He did, he did perform better than he did in 2016. And now, I can't even imagine, I don't have, I was looking to see if there's any state by state polling, uh, that shows maybe, you know, an accurate measure of how people, because how people are viewing him now,

all we have, we have national polls that have 53% approval. I would imagine, especially on the issues that voters in these states raised a lot of ire about in Maine, was one of them, that that's only going to boost his approval in that state, and that tanks her, that tanks mills. I can't even imagine,

I can't even imagine how she comes out after that. They have, she did very, I mean, he did well. I mean, it was 52 to 45 for Harris, but Clinton outperformed that during 2016. So he did better. He performed better. And I would imagine after, a lot of these issues that he's making ground on. This was one of the issues.

Again, these were the top three issues for Maine. And I'm looking at exit polling data. This is New York Times, is New York Times, Fox News, and CNN. Those are the top three issues. I can't imagine voters watching that exchange walking away thinking that Janet Mills looks good in this. I can't imagine it. So I don't think that he is over his skis by telling her this.

nor do I think that they would be successful in a lawsuit with us. I mean, what are you, you're dealing with Title IX. You're, I mean, you're actually incorporating discrimination against women in order to make that sort of competition men and women sports a reality. I mean, there's, I don't see how that withstands legal scrutiny. Of course, we have a lot of dumb judges. I got to be honest. I mean, he wasn't able to replace all of them in his, you know, his first term.

so we'll see but apologies for that. I was looking at Maine and I'm saying Massachusetts and I have no idea why. It's Friday my brain is fried. I'm like, it's an M. So my apologies for that. It's one of those days, guys. And yeah, Lorraine's like, Lorraine and Juan are

freaking out. I'm like, I'm looking at me, but I'm saying Massachusetts. It's your girls having one of those. It's because that damn soundbite. All I want to do is play that soundbite because I feel like we've had such a a bare-knuckle fight week

that and then the news this morning with that bill in the Senate I had a friend tell me and she doesn't follow she's like almost one of those apolitical people she's like a Martian well she was

and she was asking me about you know the the cuts with Doge and all of this other stuff and you know she was like does it really have like that much of an impact immediately And I was explaining to her. I'm like, well, let's look at it. You know, we're trying to balance a budget. We're trying to get to like a very good point fiscally. We're on the edge of a cliff. We've got crazy inflation. I mean, the retail sector is giving us tons of warning signs right now, which is something we're going to be talking about next week. And this is, it's unsustainable. I mean, we really, we're going to have to implement serious cuts. And people are going to get very, very upset about it because those cuts will be felt. pretty much immediately. And then for the growth to generate, that's going to take a little bit more time because you have to open up energy, number one, which is actually the first thing that he did

right out of the gate, which was smart. You have to open up energy production. You have to open up and stop a lot of the restrictions that came from the Biden administration as it pertains to business. The thing that I had Carol Roth on the other day talking about was small businesses and reporting, that has to be immediately done away with because you're killing small business. And that's the 80% that that's the engine of the economy. There was like something about the new jobs being created like 80% of it was coming from that sector. There's so many things that that need to happen to generate that growth and people are going to feel the cuts before they experience the growth. And so we've got to get started on that and handle that now because you know how Democrats are

going to message that. And I was telling my friend, look, this is what happens when you have, when you have unleashed energy, you're going to be seeing cheaper energy. You're going to be seeing cheaper prices at the grocery store. When you cut spending and you're cutting taxes, you're immediately, that's like a pay increase, a major pay increase to the average American family. And I said that's something that they're going to be able to actually tell, particularly with prices, you know, within, you know, several months. And I'm, you know, going through all of this with her and she's getting it. I need Republicans to get out there and message that more to voters. because it feels like they're not.

Well, it doesn't, I mean, there are too many people that are kind of scratched and they need to explain the benefit of cost cutting and tax cuts simultaneously. Instead of sending everybody $5,000 dividends, you need a message, look, you're going to have permanent tax cuts and we're also going to cut spending. And then you're going to see, here's the timeline for this, this is when you're going to see the benefit to it. They need to be doing that instead of just a $5,000 check.
