Starting point is 00:00:01 Welcome to the program. So POTUS posted a new Jesus picture. I think he just needs to stop with it. But at the same time, it's Trump and he thinks differently. And I don't think that he does it to be mean or I'm not going to make excuses for him. I don't think he should be posting them. But I just think that it's a war shock test. People who hate him are going to think that he did so maliciously.
Starting point is 00:00:26 And people who don't hate him are going to give him the benefit of the doubt. And they're like, he's an old dude. He has a weird sense of humor, and he's never been super highly religious. But still, it's not supposed to be malicious, right? That's what it seems like. But all the people mad about this, can we just play Cut 21? Because none of those people, I haven't seen any of them, say anything about this. This was Joy Behar.
Starting point is 00:00:48 Isn't she like an Italian Catholic? Listen to this. Jesus himself did not run around saying I'm the Messiah. I'm the Messiah. Jesus kind of gets like you're supposed to have a little bit of things. That's exactly what Jesus said, I am the... You know what? No, he did not.
Starting point is 00:01:04 Jesus was... Here's the thing. The Pope's got him... He's got God in time. She just said I knew Jesus. Jesus was not narcissistic like this guy. But when you are the Messiah, it's not narcissism to say it. Yes, it is.
Starting point is 00:01:20 When you are the Messiah? I'm going to move this along because this is like, it's too much for me. The Pope has gone... So she says that Jesus was a narcissist because he... accurately was telling people that he's the Messiah. Where's the reaction to that? Cana's, are you all right? You okay?
Starting point is 00:01:38 Are you having a real one over there because of that? It's just so confusing how people get names like Joy. And then they end up like Joy. Liz? Behar. Yeah. It's like Anthony Weiner in a way. So where are the people that are outraged over this?
Starting point is 00:01:57 I mean, Jesus literally is like, yeah, I am the Messiah. because I am. Tell me you've never read the Bible without telling me. Or what about, I mean, because the photo that Trump posted, he put up the radical lunatics might not like this, but I think it's quite nice, President EJT. And it says something like, you know, God might be playing his Trump card or something like that.
Starting point is 00:02:22 And people are very upset that he reposted it. And I don't know. It's not, I don't consider it being blasphemas. I don't consider this being, I feel like what Joy Behar said was bad, but this, where are the people mad about that? I'm curious. Where, where are, where are, I'm just waiting for people to get upset over it. You know what, I'm also ready, remember when I ran, the Iranian president said, when was this? This was today's most, it was this Monday that he posted this on X?
Starting point is 00:02:53 So Iran's official accounts began sharing a video, an AI video of Jesus throwing Trump into hell. Where are, where's that? It began, I mean, it started circulating on X and it's like, it's bad. And I'm just curious as to where the condemnation is for that. Iran's been mocking him using an AI video with Jesus. The Iranian embassy shared it. The official Iranian embassy. Questions? Where's the outrage over this?
Starting point is 00:03:39 They said it was bad. The Iranian president said it was bad when that Trump shared this image. And even, you know, the Pope was remarking on it everything. so I'm curious as to where the condemnation is for that. That's because there's no Trump arrangement syndrome in it. Well, there is, but that's what it's all about. It's all about justifying that. That's why these people's freakouts over this are absolutely,
Starting point is 00:04:05 they're nothing. See, this is the video that there, how is that not blasphemous? And Iran, the Iranian official Iranian embassy has been sharing this. They reposted it. it. That's their little emblem in the front. And then they imposed his handle on it. So where's the condemnation from the Iranian president?
Starting point is 00:04:28 Because that's that AI video, that's bad and that's on purpose, Kane. It's bad and it was purposely done. So where are all of the, oh my gosh, Trump's shared that, where are they all at? Because it's never been about protecting faith. These people who act like they're taking up the sword
Starting point is 00:04:45 for faith. They're the first people to sell out. They'd be the first people to accept. silver to sell on Jesus again. They absolutely would. It's ridiculous. Where is all of that at? Now, in the meantime, Pope Leo said that POTUS was arrogant in a new message. They need to stop this. I feel like this is all organized. You have David Axelrod that goes and meets the Pope, and now you have these bishops sitting down with 60 minutes, and now you have Pope Leo going on the rampage. He said that Trump was arrogant in another message after POTUS said that he was weak. So now it's a back and forth between the Pope and the U.S. President.
Starting point is 00:05:23 So he referred to him as his arrogance. He said, our father's heart is not with the wicked, the arrogant, or the proud. Now, it's assumed that he is referring to POTUS. I mean, it seems like that cane. Is there a way that we're, he's in Algeria? He laid a wreath down for a bunch of Muslims that had killed some Christians. Oh, you guys didn't know that. Yeah, that happened.
Starting point is 00:05:49 We're going to get to that. He's an American pope, you say? Yes, he's an American pope. The first American pope, I say. That's weird. Yeah. So he was laying a wreath for Muslims that killed Christians in Algeria. It was a big, old giant wreath, too.
Starting point is 00:06:03 He placed a wreath of flowers and prayed for the Algerians who died. The ones who died in the Algerian War of Independence against French colonial rule at this martyrs monument in Algiers. Huh? It's like, I don't know. This is just to give you an update or give you insight, this is who he's honoring. So within this, one of the biggest massacres of this battle occurred at this pyrite mining town where they had 130 Europeans and 2,000 Muslims. They had lived and worked together.
Starting point is 00:06:37 The mob was composed of hundreds of Muslims, both men and women, who were mostly armed with farming tools, axes, sharpened shovels, or knives, and they were led by 25 FLN members. They arrived at about 11 a.m. When most of the Pied noir men were working in the mine and the women and children were at home, a bloody massacre ensued in which European women were raped, disemboweled, and decapitated. Children had their throats slit. Babies were slammed against walls. Some of the local Muslim inhabitants who had initially watched without reacting eventually joined the excited mob,
Starting point is 00:07:13 as it massacred Europeans under chance of Alahu Akbar, blended with the people. Algerian women's, you know the little sounds that they were making at Sabrina? What's her faces concert? That. That's what they were doing. The attack caused the murder of 37 Europeans, mostly women and children. It was a Christian community. That is who the Pope laid a wreath for. That's who he laid a wreath for. That was just some of the atrocities that Muslim Algerians committed on European Christians during that war. So basically you could say the Pope honored Muslims that killed a bunch of French Catholics in the Algerian War for independence. Make zero sense at all.
Starting point is 00:07:58 So you have the Pope who is pushing Islam, and that's exactly what it is. You can be upset that I'm saying it, but it doesn't change the fact that that's what it is. You have the woke Reich pushing Islam. You even have the monarch over in Britain, King Charles pushing Islam. Don't tell me that it is in any way not organized. you had these bishops that went on 60 minutes CBS news they had a bunch of uh they had three bish or sorry cardinals u.s cardinals that were going off on the iraq war and they were trashing a potus over it this was after you had Tucker carlson say that you know Muslims they love
Starting point is 00:08:43 Jesus they love Jesus and they just you know they just one of your best friends if you remember what he had said yesterday the people in charge of don't want you to know this, but Muslims love Jesus. Well, here's a headline, Western Journal. Police in the Islamic Nation of Pakistan, this is all happening, allegedly tortured a Roman Catholic father of four to death. He was arrested for not being Muslim. The family of Ivkar Masheesh, who hails from an area of Lahore, Pakistan, they were all saying that, you know, despite the fact he wasn't bothering anybody, he had not done anything, but he was not a Muslim. He was basically, I mean, he's an apostate, he's on an apostate, and they said that he was, the police after they tortured and
Starting point is 00:09:29 murdered him, they told the family, no, he killed himself. But his injuries were so bad, so gratuitous, and so evidenced of, I mean, it was evidence of torture that that explanation clearly didn't work. He was a gardener at the University of Lahore for many years. After they tortured and murdered him, they hung him from the ceiling by his scarf. And so he was a Roman Catholic father tortured to death by Muslims in Pakistan. What was it that, what was it that Tucker said, oh, the people in charge don't want you to know this, but Muslims love Jesus. Why are they all trying to put, it's Christlam.
Starting point is 00:10:15 That is what, that's a hallmark of woke rike. They're trying to get Catholics and non-Catholics to fight. and then they're going to pretend that there's an alliance between Catholics and Muslims so that they can introduce to you Christlam so that then eventually Islam will consume Catholicism and it will be full-on Islamism. That is their goal. They're not even real Catholics. This is their goal.
Starting point is 00:10:37 Their goal, remember, the devil does not create anything. The devil only pollutes and perverts. And that's exactly what's happening here. The Catholic Church is under serious spiritual attack right now. all Christians are, but they are really going at that church, and they are really trying to consume it from within. You don't have to be a genius or a cardinal to see this. And right after you have David Axelrod that meets with the Pope, then you've got these cardinals coming out. I mean, that's why it was such a big deal when they were choosing the next Pope. Everybody wanted Robert Sarah, Cardinal Sarah,
Starting point is 00:11:11 because Cardinal Sarah is a hardcore, very conservative, very devout cardinal. And a lot of people wanted him, but he's not a leftist, and he's not an American leftist. This was all by design. All by design. I think that they had picked, and I think that an American pope was selected to put America in the crosshairs and have this be, use him as a tactic
Starting point is 00:11:37 against American unipolarity. It all fits into this. You cannot tell me that this is organized. It's not organized. All of these people saying all the same stuff, all at the same time, Nobody was supposed to know that Axelrod went to go meet with the Pope, by the way. That accidentally came out.
Starting point is 00:11:57 Nobody that was not talked about it, wasn't promoted. That was accidentally caught. No one was supposed to know that that happened. I don't know if you were aware of that. So this is what's happening. You have Europe pushing Islam, Woke Reich pushing Islam, and Catholics, not all, but these Catholics that I'm specifically naming pushing it. This is all by design.
Starting point is 00:12:20 And if you note, too, over at Substack chapter and verse, Lorraine has a piece that came out last week that gets into precisely this detail and how it is this battle within the Catholic church over this, the spiritual battle for it. And it gets into the organizations that are here in the United States that are trying to push this and get this divide. Why you ask, are they trying to make Catholics and non-Catholics fight? because look at who has had their hand on the rudder of morality for the right in America. It's been Christians. They need that weekend. And they want you to think that they are the most devout. And they are the ones whose cause is the holiest.
Starting point is 00:13:05 But look at the fruit that it bears. Look what it introduces. That tells you everything that you need to know. Texas-born and base company formed out of the UT Health Science Center. It is the company human and their super beach. you guys know we've been talking about them forever. Well, just to answer your questions really quickly, they have a new zero sugar product. It's the heart choose zero sugar.
Starting point is 00:13:25 Now, they didn't add a ton of sugar to it before we're talking about the natural fruit sugar. This is pomegranate berry flavor and chocolate flavor. Tisie Roll, but you're helping, you're working with a company that's like-minded. It's actually based in science and it's actually based in outside of Austin, not in Austin, but outside of Austin. But it's a great product. No added sugar, no artificial sweeteners, no stimulants, no caffeine. A lot of people say that it's the best tasting heart chew yet. I'm partial to the pomegranate berry.

Joining us on this and his new book, The Man Book, A Point-Point Guide, too, sucking it up and getting the job done, is Nick Freitas.
Starting point is 00:14:15 he's retired Greenbrae. Also, God love him, he spent a decade in the House of Delegates there. He had to deal with these people every single day. He's a Virginia, and he joins us now.
Starting point is 00:14:26 Nick, it's good to have you. Congrats on the book. Let me, what I don't, how did people just not pay attention because I don't understand how she advertised herself as a moderate.
Starting point is 00:14:36 She gets elected on that, apparently, because I was looking at the breakouts of all the polling, independents were loving her. How was that possible? Did these people live in a cave and just not pay attention?
Starting point is 00:14:45 Oh yeah, they pay attention when it's it's time to vote, but they don't pay attention to anything that came before that. And Abigail has always done an excellent job of showcasing herself as a moderate when it's campaign season. When she was in Congress, she could get away with not carrying anything too radical, but she always voted that way. And whenever you would try to bring that up, people are like, no, no, no, I saw Abby. She's a moderate. How do you know she's a moderate? Well, she told me on all of her campaign commercials. I'm like, oh, so she didn't, let me get this straight.
Starting point is 00:15:16 She didn't put in her campaign mailer that the moment she got into power, she was going to eliminate any cooperation with ICE and allow people that had hurt Virginians. You know, she didn't tell you that? Wow, that's shocking. That's shocking. But here we are. We had a lot of people in Virginia that wanted to play this. The parties are all the same game.
Starting point is 00:15:34 Well, now they're learning the hard way. That's not true. I mean, when I think of Virginia, Nick, I think of, you know, it's, I go back to the colonial days. I mean, that's, you know, that's our founder's stomping ground. And to see what's happening now in the House there in the Senate of the delegates, to see what's happening. I mean, for instance, I was looking at some of these amendments that they're proposing as it relates to, I'm looking at the verbiage, assault firearms and quote unquote, large capacity magazines. So correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like, because the word that they're using to describe it as an assault firearm is, quote, a semi-automatic center-fire rifle or pistol with a magazine capacity and excess of 15 rounds. So that's like almost everything I own, except for a couple of revolvers.
Starting point is 00:16:20 Yeah. Oh, no. You have definitions being written by people that either don't know any better, or you have people like Dan Helmer who should know better. But Dan was the sort of guy that served overseas and thought to himself, gosh, this whole disarming the civilian population would be great as long as I was in charge. So that's what they're doing. I think it's especially, you brought it up before when you consider Virginia's history. Now, consider Virginia's history through the lens of this is the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. We have our independence, not because of mealy-mouthed politicians constantly trying to take our rights. We have our independence because armed citizens were able to stand up to the most powerful army
Starting point is 00:16:59 of the world at the time. And at the same time that we're celebrating that in Virginia, at the, you know, James Town at, you know, at Williamsburg, at Yorktown. The same time that we're celebrating all of that, Virginia politicians are working overtime to drastically infringe on your Second Amendment rights at the same time that they fight extra hard to allow illegal immigrants to just be in the in the Commonwealth and to allow violent felons out of jail early. So they're doing things in tandem with one another. And as I said before, yeah, that's never going to make it onto their campaign mailers, but that's what they do the moment
Starting point is 00:17:35 they have power. Yeah, no one's going to vote for someone who's like, I'm going to ban literally everything that you own in terms of firearms, except for a shock on. and you know, you're a sick shooter. That's all I'm going to, everything else is going to be banned because, I mean, and it looks like, is this going to go through? I mean, I realize that this has just been proposed, but. Yes. Oh, golly.
Starting point is 00:17:56 Here's what's going to happen. Abigail Spamberger is going to offer a couple of amendments on things in order to give the appearance of a moderate. And because, look, the fix was always in from the beginning. The dirty little secret here is Abigail Spamberger is running nothing in Virginia. Don Scott and Louise Lucas are running. everything. They will let her amend or maybe veto a couple of things in order to boost up her moderate credentials as long as she's a good girl and does what she's told. So what's going to happen is
Starting point is 00:18:24 she'll offer a couple of nothing amendments and then the Washington Post and the Richmond Times dispatch and everyone else will dutifully show up and talk about, oh my gosh, what a moderate Abigail Spanberger standing up to her own party because she cares about Virginians. No, the fix was then from the very beginning and that's all you're going to see is political theater it's so sad to see we're talking with nick fratus uh virginia and spent a decade in virginia house of delegates going over so i'm just it's so sad because it's such a beautiful state it's i love virginia and i have a lot of friends that live there and it just i just can't believe that this is what we're seeing because they went from i mean you you you had yon and now we're here i mean this is the complete polar opposite of representation that
Starting point is 00:19:09 you had in virginia surely i mean i know voters can be fickle, but this is extreme. Well, I think the other thing, voters get a, I think conservative voters especially, they elect someone like Governor Yonkin or Jason Mears or Winsom Sears, and they think, okay, well, we did our job. We're now going to get what we want. We're going to roll back the insanity that Democrats did when they were in power and then we're going to get some good things in there.
Starting point is 00:19:32 The problem is, is the Democrats, throughout Governor Yonkin's entire time, he never controlled the legislature. The Democrats controlled the Senate and then they retook the House. So every good thing we tried to do with respect to tax cuts, with respect to expanding gun rights, with a business-friendly environment, every piece of substantive legislation died in the Senate because Democrats controlled it by one vote. And so the stuff that Glenn Yonkin was able to do was largely through the executive branch. It wasn't through the legislature because we couldn't get the substantive things through. And we had a lot of voters that said, why don't want to hear your excuses? Okay, well, the excuse is the Virginia Constitution.
Starting point is 00:20:11 If the Democrats control any, any element of the branches of government, they will obstruct everything you try to do. And the end result was is that the people of Virginia gave the Democrats complete control. So now they have the governor. Now they have the AG. Now they have a lieutenant. Now they have a lieutenant. Now they have the House. Overwhelmingly so.
Starting point is 00:20:33 And the end result is everything they told you they didn't want to do like indoctrinate your kids in school or take your guns or raise your taxes. They're doing all of it because that is what they want. And the worst thing that they're doing right now is they are literally going to rob half of Virginia of any sort of representation in the federal government with respect to Congress. Because right now we have five Republicans in Congress and six Democrats, which is a very fair split between the way that Virginians tend to vote in federal elections. But now the Democrats are running through this referendum where they're going to get 10 seats and Republicans are going to get one. And again, did they campaign on that? Did they campaign on mercilessly gerrymandering the state? No, but that's what they're doing now that they have power.
Starting point is 00:21:20 I wish people would dive deeper than just what is in the campaign mailers that are put in their mailbox. We're talking with Nick Fratus. I wanted to ask you as well, you had been tweeting about Iran or Iran. And also the Pope versus Trump, this is very weird to see religious leaders get involved. And I saw, you know, the Pope Lainerith and at this Algerian monument. for, you know, the actual Muslims that were killing Christians during that whole battle. And, you know, I, I feel like there is an attempt to weaponize religion to make, to, to, to really suppress the American defense.
Starting point is 00:21:57 I mean, that's what this is. That's what this is all been about. Boxing out China. Boxing out tyrants. And I kind of wanted to get your thoughts on this because this is blown up in the past couple of weeks. Yeah, I don't. And again, I say this with completely.
Starting point is 00:22:11 respect to my Catholic friends to the Pope. But here's what I understand. When the Pope comes out and says things like, we need to be less fearful of Islam. Or he says that Lebanon is a perfect example of Christians and Muslims living together in harmony and brotherhood. I'm looking around going, I'm sorry, but when you look at Christian persecution around the world, you notice a pattern. Christians are persecuted and where they are persecuted, they are persecuted by Islamists. And so again, with all due respect, it is easy to talk about getting along with Islam when you have the Swiss guards. The Nigerian Christians being butchered by Muslims right now don't have the Swiss guards. And while I can appreciate the Pope wanting to foster peace, I think we need to understand that it takes two sides to foster peace.
Starting point is 00:23:03 St. Paul told us, as much as it is within your power, live at peace with everybody. Well, we've got a lot of people around the globe that decided that as long as they get to say, they don't want to live in peace. And what I would love to see the Catholic Church do, and something that they have been effective of in the past, is spending more time providing protection to Christians that are undergoing that kind of persecution, instead of just telling us, well, we just, you know, it's not that big a deal. We can live in brotherhood. They disagree.
Starting point is 00:23:31 And as long as they disagree, we need to be able to have an effective response to protect our Christian brothers and sisters in Christ. Amen to that. your book is out today. Congratulations, by the way, the man book, a point-by-point guide to sucking it up and getting the job done. It seems kind of like it's a how-to for modern men, like modern young men. Why did you feel the need to write this? Well, masculinity has been under attack, especially the last couple of decades. Oh, for sure. If you're a young man living in America, you've heard nothing, but you're the source of all the world's problems. They've been dumped on. They've been told that every instinct that they have is bad or toxic.
Starting point is 00:24:07 and I really felt it was necessary to write something in contrast to that, to say, look, God made you to be strong, to be capable, to be wise, to be intelligent, to be able to lead. And all I wanted to do was share, here's the things I learned, right? If I was a young man starting all off again in my late teens, early 20s, this is some of the knowledge I would want about how do I be a good husband, how do I be a good father to a son, how do I be a good father to daughters, how do I defend my family, how do I provide, for my family because I think young men now more than ever and I give Charlie Kirk so much credit for this. They are looking to not just be strong, not just be capable to defeat wokeism. They want to be
Starting point is 00:24:48 in service to something good and honorable and noble. And I think you find that when you recognize that you get your identity in Christ and then you pick noble missions that you can go out there and prepare yourself for. And I think the more young men pick up that mantle and choose to lead, even in the face of a culture that is constantly denigrating them for it. Yes. That's what changes culture. It's the ultimate quest. What I want young men to understand is this.
Starting point is 00:25:13 The reason why they've come after you so hard is not because you're powerless. It's because you're incredibly powerful. But it has to be developed in the pursuit of something honorable and noble and righteous. This stands in such stark contrast to a lot of the stuff that has been trending in certain subgenres where you have like looks maxing and all of that. I mean, this is actually. practical where that stuff is just fodder for social media. You're not adding. You're not creating anything with that. It's all about vanity and it's temporary. But this is about creating something
Starting point is 00:25:46 lasting. And as I said, it's the ultimate quest. I read something where women understand men better when they realize that men like to have quests and they need a quest. And I mentioned this in my house, and I'm the only woman in my house, except for one of my dogs. And all the men in my house said, oh my gosh, that is absolutely true. And that's what this is like. It's like the ultimate quest. I love it. Nick Freitas, the congrats on the book. The book is the man book, a point-by-point guide to sucking it up and getting the job done. And I got to tell you, if it gets much worse there in Virginia, you may have to go back. You know, you may have to go back and maybe, I don't know, the gubernatorial office might be calling for you something because it's too much of a mess out there,
Starting point is 00:26:25 Nick. Would you ever consider it? Last question? I don't think so. I've learned the hard way that I never tell God I'll never do anything. But if he asked me to do that, I'd ask for ID. There you go right there. Nick Freitas, always a pleasure. Congratulations on the book. Good to see you. Our partners that help make it happen. It's our friends over at Patriot Mobile. The only Christian conservative cell phone service out there. Patriot Mobile exists not only to provide the best service. So you've got to be really wise with how you're spending your money these days because you might just think you're paying for a cell phone service,
Starting point is 00:27:44 but if it's not for Patriot Mobile, you're actually funding the stuff that's working against you and your family. Visit Patriotmobile.com slash Dana or call 972 Patriot and use CodeDana to get a free month of service. as PatriotMobil.com slash Dana Codenna 972 Patriot. Dana Lash with you. Find us over at Substack Chapter and Verse, the podcast if you missed anything prior. And then, of course, Facebook and YouTube, all that good stuff. It's National Day of Thief. No, I don't say, quote, unquote, tax day.
Starting point is 00:28:14 Taxes are unconstitutional. You never own the home that you live in and you never can keep all of your money. Because it's very important that members of the Somali diaspora in Minnesota, to have money for their early leering centers so kids can leer well and do other things well, too. That's probably why we need more of it. Hey, what about free everything? Free college, free health care. Whenever anybody promises these things, who is the person administering it?
Starting point is 00:28:43 Like, if you say free healthcare, this is Roe-Connor, Rep, Rokana. Just listen to this, mine job. The moment has finally come for national health insurance. Why? Because people now realize you cannot have health care linked to your job, not at a time where your job may change or where you may lose your job. We need Medicare for all. That's a better system with better outcomes where health care is guaranteed to every single person from the day they are born. For our young people, to assure career opportunity is not limited by your family's wealth. We need free college and free trade schools. No, we don't. We don't need free anything.
Starting point is 00:29:25 stop it. First off, can I just stop at the health care thing where they were talking about health care? You know that Republicans, and I see, I hear people, again, the people who think that politics began the day that they were born, they're always like, well, what are their policies? Where were the health care plans for Republicans? Where were they at? Well, Republicans had three different health care plans back in the day, and two of them weren't even allowed out of committee, and the other was voted down on the floor. The one that was, that they weren't going to lend out a committee was a proposal. And I want to say that I can't remember which congressman was behind it, but it was something that Rand Paul talked about in the Senate. One of the proposals included decoupling,
Starting point is 00:30:09 thank you, Kenneth Paltrow, decoupling your health insurance from your employer, because it is stupid that your health insurance is tied to your employer. It's ridiculous. It's dumb. But that was one of the proposals that Republicans had. They wanted to stop that, and they wanted to make it to wear you could, wherever you went, you would take your health care coverage with you. And Democrats did not want that. They refused. And so it was voted down. So I don't know what Roe Conna's talking about because we tried that and you guys hated it. You guys wouldn't allow it to come forward. Were it concerns free college? Who's going to be teaching the classes? What do you mean free? like I'm assuming that he's not talking about free with the caveat that it's actually paid for by increased taxes on everyone.
Starting point is 00:30:59 That's like you're paying for the aristocracy. The only the wealthiest, like the rich people go to college and get worthless degrees. College is a racket, by the way. It is an absolute racket. It is like finishing school. People treat it like it's an, I don't know how to say it. Like they're pre-they treat it more for status and inserting you into society in certain places as opposed to actual education. The only people who treat it for education or law and medical.
Starting point is 00:31:33 Really? That's it. It's a racket. Who teaches the classes, though, when it's free? Are teachers? So when you say free college, does that mean that those professors are going to work for free? are they going to get up every single day, wake up, have their coffee, get ready for the day, leave, drive to their university, arrive at the university, and then spend seven or eight hours teaching all day, and then go home and then make dinner with ingredients that I'm assuming where does the free stop? So assuming that they are working for free, because that's the only way you can actually provide free college, is if you make the people work for free,
Starting point is 00:32:15 so is this like an indentured servitude kind of set up? Are we talking about slaves teaching college? Or does it go further than that? Where does the free stop? Where does the buck stop? So they're teaching for free. How are they paying for their roof? Are we providing their housing for free also so that they can teach for free? What happens if they have to go to the grocery store and get ingredients to make dinner? Are we giving them free groceries? Because at some point, money comes into play here. So are the groceries? So are the groceries going to be free for them? How are they going to pay for their food? How are they going to pay for their medical care? Is that also going to be free for them? And then the medical care, who's providing the medical care? The people providing the medical care to the teacher is going to be providing it for free because they have to work for free and they have no money to buy anything? Do you realize how absolutely stupid this sounds? Where does it stop? You're creating a whole chain of free to make that free. That's how that has to work. What about gas for their car?
Starting point is 00:33:17 Are they going to get free gas? Because how are they going to power up their vehicle? How are they going to get to where they got to go for free? Right? I mean, how are they going to retire? What are they going to live on if they haven't made any money if they're teaching for free to provide free college? Are you going to take care of them? So are we creating an entire welfare state for free?
Starting point is 00:33:38 That even implies that at some point somebody has to pay for it. But if you're really talking about it being free, then are you talking about rewerewe? orienting our society to like strictly what trade are they trading how does this work or people just going to be forced to work as slaves in every aspect of every single commercial and non-commercial activity so that we can say free college where does it stop that's what's so dumb about these stupid remarks it's never free somebody's got to pay somewhere and i'm pretty sure if you asked a teacher or hey, I'm sure you just love your job. Why don't you just work for free?
Starting point is 00:34:17 They're going to say no. Right? And really, if the argument is a generosity one, well, then let's examine that for a moment. Your sounds like those people making that argument are being generous with someone else's time and labor, right? You're going to force those people to do that for free? That's awful generous of you
Starting point is 00:34:37 to write checks that their ass is cash. But where are you in it? People are always generous. generous with everybody else's resources and time, like a slave master. So that's what they're talking about. That's what Rochakhan is talking about when he says free college. It's one of the dumbest things ever. No educated person says this.
Starting point is 00:34:58 No person that ever has to pay a bill says this. No one that understands cause and effect says this. No one who knows how the world works and that people deserve to be compensated for their efforts says this. It's pretty amazing. Also amazing. Audio Soundbite 19, please. See if you can tell me what Joe Biden's saying here.
Starting point is 00:35:26 You and I got married and scented ass after my first year in law school. Wait, what? The huge reception thrown by the Hunter family. What? Can we go back? What does he say? You didn't recommend it? And I got an avidavit.
Starting point is 00:35:40 What is he saying here? You know I got married and scented ass after my first year in law school. Can you call somebody a candy house? Sorry, Juan. Can I just have it one more time? I'm really sorry. You and I got married and Scannadass after my first year in law school. They I got married.
Starting point is 00:35:54 Is Scannass? Is that what he said? What is that? Word for word, that's what he said. But I think he meant to say something else. You and I got married and Scannadass after my first year in law school. And Scannass? What?
Starting point is 00:36:09 He didn't. No, he didn't. I literally have no idea what he's saying here. Any guesses? Steve, you got any guesses? They got married a skin ass. Must be nice to just, like, walk through all of that. But wait, there's more.
Starting point is 00:36:25 What? Cut 20. Do it. Oh, boy. I want to turn around one guy and say, uh, Barack, what are you doing? Come here. Come here. Come here.
Starting point is 00:36:35 Come here. Come here. Oh, no. I feel like he should be standing the right, and I should be standing the left. Hey, do you tell this look at Barack? So he pulls up a black guy at Syracuse University and says, hey, it's Barack Obama. Oh, my gosh. Is that what he was talking about Syracuse?
Starting point is 00:36:59 They got married and Syracuse. Is he trying to say Syracuse? He said, they got Mara to scan ass. Maybe, I don't know. You know I got married and scanned ass after my first year old school. We're just, we don't know. Yeah, he probably didn't mean to say Syracuse. Yeah, because Askin ass and ass.
Starting point is 00:37:17 sounds just like it. There's not even, there's, oh my gosh. But it's very interesting that science has gotten cheese to be able to talk like that. I mean, we're really missing the bigger picture here. We really are. Here's a really fun audio soundbite. Can we just have on the man, Tom Homan? Audio Soundbite 22, because, you know, Tom Homan's been dealing with immigration. You don't really hear a lot from Tom Homan. He just keeps his head down, does his job. But then he got really upset when the Pope started hitting out at immigration. Listen to this. I'm not going to speak for the president. I'm speaking for myself, a lifelong Catholic. I wish they stay out of immigration. They don't know what they're talking about.
Starting point is 00:37:55 Because if they wore my shoes for 40 years and talked to a nine-year-old little girl that had raped multiple times or stood in the back of the trailer, back to track the trailer, 19 dead aliens at my feet, including a five-year-old boy that baked to death. If they understood the atrocities that happened on the open border, I think their opinion would change. And I welcome in discussion with any of them, because they don't understand. Illegal migration is not a victimist crime. Where President Trump had the most secure border
Starting point is 00:38:21 in the lifetime of this nation right now, lives are being saved. He's saving thousands of lives a year because he has a secure border. Human traffickers are out of business, right? The cartels are going bankrupt because of that secure border. I wish they'd understand that
Starting point is 00:38:38 because if they did, I think they have a different opinion. You know, He's right on this. He is absolutely correct. Good on Tom Holman. These dudes haven't seen the stuff that he's seen. It's horrific.
Starting point is 00:38:56 And he's getting, you know, to the heart of the matter. I mean, these are people who sometimes I think are, just roll with me here. Sometimes I think certain members of their church leadership are upset because of the U.S. aid money ended. Right? That spigot. I mean, Catholic chair. I've been down there. seen what Catholic Charities does. I have been down at the border and I have seen firsthand what they do.
Starting point is 00:39:21 I watched, I literally watched, and this was under Obama, as Border Patrol would apprehend people, they would bring them in to the Catholic Charities down in Macauan, Texas, and then one of the nuns there that I got kind of been in a debate with and Ted Cruz had to break it up. One of the nuns there was explaining to everybody exactly what happened. And most everyone, we were all down there to see how this was happening and it was shocking. They bring these people in. They have like a makeshift sort of store where they go, they don't pay money. It's all given to them. They get clothes. They get a change of clothes. They get food. They get health checkups. Everything. And then they get bus tickets and all of this. It's all provided to them and they get to go elsewhere in the interior and they're here
Starting point is 00:40:08 illegally. And I saw them process 100 or so illegal aliens that came through and I was stunned. I saw this with my own eyes. It's not anecdotal. I was there, my feet on the ground, inside the facility, and I saw it myself, and I took photos. I was shocked at what, you know, I could not believe it. And I had asked an innocent question, and it was met with real indignation. I had asked, so is there a follow-up with an immigration judge after this? And that none about bit my head off, She was incredibly hateful. She did not have the spirit of God in her. I'll look right at you and say it because I told her that.
Starting point is 00:40:53 And that's when Ted Cruz stepped in. Because she got so mean. And I had said, you are not responding with the spirit. Oh, my gosh. And that made her even angrier. And then one of her assistants went at me on social media, you know, way to evangelize. I saw it with my own eyes. So I'm like, are they mad because they had USAID money cut?
Starting point is 00:41:14 because they're one of the biggest defenders of this, if not the millions of dollars. You know that there's a tunnel that goes right from Mexico right by one of their facilities on the south of the border, right? That's a true story. I didn't come up with that. James O'Keeffe traveled it. I was in the theater watching it, the documentary with all the video footage right next to it. That was from his footage.
Starting point is 00:41:37 So I just, I mean, it's amazing. And I can't figure out, is that the reason why Loramey made a very good point? point two in all of this. She had said that, you know, the devil learned his lesson from the Holocaust because the church helped to save a lot of Jewish people. In Poland, across Europe, they were taking in Jewish kids, and like Soros even, because he had a family that took him in. And now this is why you're having the attacks on churches at this point, the ideological, spiritual attacks on churches. That's all of this makes sense if you step back and you take a look at it. It is an absolute op. And some church,
Starting point is 00:42:15 leaders have fallen for it. We've got a lot more on the way as we move. We got headlines coming up. Our partners that help bring you the program. We want to sponsor, Preborn wants to sponsor 1,000 lifesaving ultrasounds before Mother's Day. You can visit preborn.com slash Dana or donate by dialing pound 250 and saying the word baby. That's preborn.com slash Dana or dial pound 250 and say the word baby. How many of you know about the Appalachian Trail? Everybody knows the Appalachian Trail, don't they? I mean, the Appalachian Trail is a very American thing.
Starting point is 00:43:33 It's also called the AT. I have hiking. I don't hike because it's glorified walking, but I appreciate those who have that. past time, right? I get it. I get it. No, the Appalachian Trail, if you are unfamiliar with it, the hiking trail in the eastern United States, goes through 14 different states. And apparently it's the world's longest hiking-only trail. You know that every year, more than 3 million people hike segments of it. A lot of famous people have hiked it. But I've never heard anyone claim to hike it and then not have ever hiked it.
Starting point is 00:44:12 So you've heard, again, as I've said, of the Appalachian Trail. But have you heard, ladies and gentlemen, of Appalachian Tale? That's where we're going. It became a code word back in the day. Yes, you didn't know this. This was in 2009 when this came up. Let's revisit the period. You had then-Republicans South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford.
Starting point is 00:44:39 All of a sudden, nobody knew where he was, from June 18th to June 20th. 24th, no one had any idea where the Republican governor of South Carolina had gone. Not even his own family. He just up and left. His staff didn't know. I think one of them had an idea of where he went, but they didn't know. And the media was tipped off about it. So he was apparently coming back in from the Appalachian Trail, and he was met by the press at the airport. And they discovered that when Governor Sanford went missing from June 18th to the 24th, he actually did not go, as he had said, he said he went hiking on the Appalachian Trail. He needed to get away. You know, he's governor. He just needed to get away. So he just up and
Starting point is 00:45:33 disappeared. His phone, by the way, his state phone and his personal phone were turned off. He didn't respond to phone calls, text messages. I mean, his wife, was a little concerned as to where he was. She said that he needed time. I mean, they have children for crying out loud. He just disappeared from his wife and children. And at first she thought, well, maybe he needed time away to write something. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:45:57 He sometimes made similar disappearances in the past, but this one was the longest. And then the media got wind of it. And then the headlines started coming out. And then Sanford's office on the 22nd of June. finally someone in his office finally said, okay, well, he told us where he was going before he left and he would be difficult to reach. And that's when Joel Sawyer, his spokesman at the time, said, no, no, no, the governor's just hiking the Appalachian Trail. Yeah. And that's, you know, that's just the way it is. But lieutenant governor, Andre Bauer said, no, no, no, these are shenanigans. He said, quote, we take, do not take lightly that his staff has not had communication with him for,
Starting point is 00:46:42 more than four days and that no one, including his own family, knows his whereabouts. So finally, it came out on the 23rd that Stanford had contacted his staff that morning after five days of being completely out of contact with everyone. And he expressed surprise that so many people were giving attention to his absence. So he decided to return to work the next day. So he comes in to the airport in Atlanta, right? He came out on a Delta flight. Now, The one reporter that was there received a tip that he was coming in. Not from, I mean, isn't it weird that you're on the Appalachian Trail and you're coming in to Atlanta? Like, did he go south?
Starting point is 00:47:25 Like, how did this work? So the reporter Gina Smith with the state was at the airport. And lo and behold, she sees him coming in on a Delta Flight 110 from Buenos Aires, Argentina. What? Now, he was supposed to be alone for the entire trip, hiking the Appalachian Trail. But apparently when he decided, after he realized the media had him, he was like, no, no, I decided to change at the last minute and do something exotic. It gets better and better. Well, he did do something exotic.
Starting point is 00:48:00 As it turned out, he was hiking the Appalachian tail down in Argentina. that was something exotic, I guess. He was visiting his mistress in Argentina. He disappeared for five days, didn't tell his wife or his kids, or his staff, his constituents. What if they had had had a natural disaster? Who knows? And his staff, as they found out, began lying for him. And he had to have a press conference.
Starting point is 00:48:32 And this was several hours after he got back. The story was out there. By the time he hit the airport in Atlanta, the press knew something was up. By the time he got home from the airport, everybody knew what was going on. He had said that he had developed a relationship with this Argentinian woman that he had met a little over eight years ago. Very innocently, he added. And that it turned romantic about the year before. And he said, all my wife knew, like that makes it better, because she discovered a letter that he had written to this Argentinian woman.
Starting point is 00:49:04 So do you know what he had said? he is a wife who stood next to him at that point anyway. He said, quote, that he had, that he would die knowing that he had met his soulmate. Talking about this other woman as his soulmate, he leaves his wife and kids. And so he also admitted that he met this woman several times in New York City and in the Hamptons, and he paid everything in cash so he wouldn't be found out. Um, his wife, they were trying to seek marriage counseling at first and, uh, you know, I, I would have beaten him to death in front of all the press. I would have. And then I, oh man, his poor wife,
Starting point is 00:49:53 his poor kids. Now, why are we talking about this right now? I mean, Jenny Sanford filed for divorce. She said it was a sad, painful process. You know, I feel so bad for it. Why are we talking about this now? Well, because of this. Cut 32, please. Who boy. I'm Mark Sanford. I come from the coast of South Carolina, and I'm running for Congress because I believe our nation is at a tipping point. We'll add about a trillion dollars to the national debt over the next 100 days. Because he's deciding he's running for Congress now.
Starting point is 00:50:26 He decided that he stayed out of the public eye long enough. Maybe people won't recognize that the reason that Appalachian Tail is the saying is because of him. Maybe they won't know. you know what I just had an idea Kane make a note of this a Basanova cover band called Argentinian Strange that's let's do that
Starting point is 00:50:50 don't say don't say that all right so that's why we're talking about this now he's going to run he's running for Congress so I'm really I got some thoughts on this has it been long enough people
Starting point is 00:51:05 do you think for Mark Sanford to come back I mean what is what's the rest time on completely abandoning your entire family, your wife, your constituents, your governor's office? What, what's, what, how does that work? Like, how long do you wait before you're like, all right, we're good? Are we ever good? I mean, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:51:30 I'm curious. Is this actually going to work there? Is this actually, you know, he, he got engaged to that lady and then they ended up breaking off their engagement. His soulmate? Yeah, his soulmate. He said that while he was still married. First off, let me just put it like this.
Starting point is 00:51:53 When I'm looking at someone who's running for office, I'm not looking to elect a pastor, although I think virtue is important. I think you need to show at least, and if you're short in virtue, you better have a pristine voting record of voting constitutionally. You know what I'm saying? You better have a pristine record, which I don't think he does either. He doesn't have that either. So it's all problematic. But here's the thing. The number one trait that I hate in bad politicians is these unforced errors and the stupidity. Mark Sanford is an inexcusable dumbass. In addition to being a an absolute male whore. There's your ad. You abandon your post and lie to everybody,
Starting point is 00:52:48 and you go down to Argentina. You can't be trusted because he didn't just lie to his wife. He lied to all of his constituents. He didn't just leave his wife. He literally physically left his constituents to go after some Argentinian tale after he was telling everybody he was on the Appalachian trail. And it's the stupidest story I've ever heard. That's the thing which I find equally offensive. Maybe you find it less so. But that's like something a 13-year-old would say to avoid getting caught at a party when he told his parents he was at Timmy's house, right? I was on the Appalachian Trail. I just had my phone turned off. I didn't even know. Who does this? Mark Sanford, apparently. So, uh, Oh, by the way, you know, he started, this is what really gets me.
Starting point is 00:53:42 I love when these people do this. So he decided, Kane, after he withdrew from public life, after his exhausting climb of the Appalachian tale, he decided that he was going to have some quiet spiritual time, and he developed a very Buddhist Christian life approach. And he wanted to practice mindfulness and, like, emphasize everyone's, you know, share like, human-like experience like.
Starting point is 00:54:11 He sounds like a bimbo influencer. He sounds like a man who's having a midlife crisis. I don't think he's done having it. And all of a sudden, you know, he's like the guy that you haven't seen in a long time, and then you see him and he's got a little ponytail at the nape of his neck, and he lives in a yurt, and he wears, like, hand-woven hemp sandals.
Starting point is 00:54:30 He's that guy now. Do you want someone like that in elected office? please tell me there's another Republican that can run against him. Otherwise, I don't even know what to tell you all over there. This is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. But that's Mark Sanford. Mark Sanford. It was a banner day yesterday.
Starting point is 00:54:50 So the woke rike had a little bit of a problem. So you had the clavicle guy. Who's the clavicle guy? He's the guy who does looks maxing. Apparently he meth-maxed. What? Yeah, yeah, yeah. The clavicle guy.
Starting point is 00:55:04 clavicular? Whatever. He apparently meth maxed and literally and was in the hospital because he overdosed. That guy. The guy that tries to be an influencer for young males, meth maxed and overdosed and all these people were taking video of it and he ended up in the hospital. Yeah. Apparently he's very public about his drug use. How was that an influencer for young dudes? All right, so let's be honest here. Shaving is not self-care. It's just something you've got to get done. And who has time for products that over-promise and under-deliver? So when you find something that's high-quality and easy, something you could just order online, we pay attention to that, right? Starting point is 00:56:38 And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five. So researchers say that they found the antidote to social media brain rot and its experimental film. Feel like Hollywood wrote this. They said that these, it's a University of California, Santa Barbara. they discovered in this story from the Hollywood reporter by a reporter named Stephen Zichick
Starting point is 00:57:04 who doesn't know how to write a lead and he needs to go back to school and be fired first because this story is honestly kills my soul basically long story long algorithmically driven videos it's bad for us but if you write or if you watch you know like films
Starting point is 00:57:22 like short films experimental films things like that that apparently is more challenging to the brain and stimulating creatively. I think this is dumb. I really would fire this guy because these stories, if you can't write a lead in your first paragraph, go code. Go do something else because you're not, you were not born to be a writer. You were valueless and worthless. So go code. Good grief. American cities, the worst seasonal allergies. Kane, this is a lie because Texas isn't in it. Nowhere in Texas is in it. And this is absolute garbage. The as
Starting point is 00:57:56 Analygy Foundation of America analyzed pollen data for 100 most populous cities. Boise, Idaho was named the worst. Boise, Idaho. Isn't it all like foothills and brown up there? I mean, it looks beautiful. That's Napoleon Dynamite Land. It looks like, well, I got a friend that lives up there, and they do have trees that change color, but I just didn't think that Boise, Idaho would be the worst.

Juan, this is cut 34. This is what Hakeem Jeffries had to say about the Iran situation. Starting point is 01:03:33 And there was no threat that Iran was actually close to nuclear breakout. Not only was it publicly made known. They said they were. They admitted it and were trying to rob the United States' face in it. And by the way, we saw one of the missiles. because our destroyer shot down one of their 4,000 kilometer intercontinental ballistic missiles that they lied about not having. This guy's a moron, exactly.
Starting point is 01:03:53 That does it for us tonight. Have a great rest of your day. I'll be back behind the mic with you tomorrow.
