That's Nikki Haley just yesterday. Was it yesterday? It was yesterday, I think. Yeah, that was her just yesterday talking to people in, or no, sorry, New Hampshire. Because we have Iowa and just a company. And then we got New Hampshire. I don't dislike Iowa ones. I'm just, we've been kissing y'all's ass for like months now.

I mean, and forgive the Portuguese, but there's no other way to put it. That's exactly what's happening. Welcome to the show. Second day of the new year. Second day of the new year. I don't do any of that new me, new, new, new, new year, new new new new new new new new new new new new. It's a new year. Same old me.

Punch in the neck. So welcome, welcome to the show. Top of this first hour. We have Florida governor. to Santa's coming on later in the program. We're going to talk to him. I'm just going to throw all this stuff at him and just let's see what he does. Let's just see. Let's be like, what do you get this? What do you do that? Here's this soundbite. What about this one? Just see what he does. Yeah, I like it, but I also like, you know, to see how people react to stuff. You know what I'm

saying? So we'll see. But anyway, so that was Nikki Haley yesterday. So the what I saw are, I have friends in Iowa. Some of them, they're kind of all over the place. They like DeSantis some of them, there's a couple of them that like Trump. Nobody likes Nikki Haley. I have no Iowa friends that like Nikki Haley. Is that weird? I mean, I'm sure they like her personally. Like they wouldn't throw a pickle at her if they saw on a Burger King. But they just, they just don't prefer her for this particular job. Anyway, so long story short, they were all, so this is what got me thinking about this? They're like, what do you mean, fix that? We do me know how I'm sure affects that. You mean we're going to get it wrong? And here's one thing that you

don't do. So this is, let me explain to you the Iowa thing. If you're new here to, if you've never paid attention to the primaries, we, I'm going to be very straight with you because everybody else is an operative and they're a butt kisser. We do this thing where we pretend that the only state that exists in the union is Iowa, to hell with all of you, everybody else. If you're not in Iowa, then, who are you? I mean, Texas don't care. Missouri, don't care. They love Iowa.

Then next, they love New Hampshire, a little less, but they love New Hampshire. And then they lose South Carolina. A little less than they love New Hampshire, but they love South Carolina. So we go through this span of time where we have politicians that spend an inordinate amount of time kissing butt. It's the butt kissing competition. It's the delegate race. is what it is. It's the chase for the delegates. It's all that's what it's about. And so, you know, as a, as a result of this, that's why you see so much about Iowa and why you hear so much about them and everybody talks to them. Oh my gosh. We love corn. All these politicians go up to Iowa, the state fair. We love corn. Oh my gosh. They love corn. And then they, that's what they do. All of them do this. They all do this. Democrats, Republicans alike. Operatives. operatives go up there. We love corn too. Like you get people from Palm Beach that go out there.

I just love Iowa. I love all. And then they look at, they remember all their notes. And then they just try to recite. It's just how it is. Now, Iowa people know this because they're not dumb. But they love it. They love it. Because it's the one time every four years, it's the time that everybody puts Iowans first. Right? Everybody puts Iowans first. So they are the princess. of this party. They are the homecoming queen. They get the crown all of it. And I honestly

think that Iowans there's a little there's a little, you know, I think they take joy in watching so many of these politicians come out. Our favorite cane is when they go to the Iowa State Fair and it's always the meat on the stick.

And that what it is? It's the thing on the it's the corn dog. Whatever fried. Any meat on a stick and they there's always somebody who inartfully eats it every time. I feel like they have classes privately on how to not look like you could be Photoshopped while eating meat on a stick. And so they all go up and I really think that Iowans secretly, they'll never tell you this. But I think they enjoy putting these candidates in this position. Okay.

I feel like that's how that got started. Welcome to the Iowa State Fair. So you say you love Iowa? Have you had our, they wink at each other, meat on a stick and then hand it over to the politician. I really, which, you know, I mean, I kind of feel like if you're going to get condescended to and everyone's going to act like you're the number one princess at the party for this certain period of time, then yeah, then go, you go ahead. You get free reign to do that. So that's where we're at now. So then after the first, after Iowa, then nobody cares anymore.

Iowa goes, it's all sports and corn and that's all anybody, you know, that's, that's, That's what people think of. If you, like how people think Texas is all what, uh, uh, uh, brisket and what? Cowboys? I don't know. Well, I guess that's what they think. I don't know.

Missouri's all what? The Mississippi and Mark Twain. There you go. Yeah, the arch and the Ozarks. That's it. Maybe a river. You know what I mean. But I just, I am endlessly fascinated by this very unique aspect of American political culture.

And then after this, everybody's going to go to New Hampshire. Hampshire. Oh my gosh, New Hampshire. We love you, New Hampshire. We love granite. We love it. So amazing. Well, they're called the Granite State, but that, no, shut up. We love granite. Just like how in Iowa, we loved the corn. The corn's amazing. We love corn. We love the meat on the stick. We love your fares. New Hampshire, we love your granite. I don't know. Then they go to South Carolina after this. I'm just, I, why they sit on bales of hay. Oh, my gosh. It's what they do. that all the time and all the ads. You'll see it. You'll see it. There was an ad way back when. And it was a Bill Clinton and Al Gore. And they were in Iowa and they were literally sitting on hay.

And I swear to you, he ins to sky. Al Gore had a piece of straw on his teeth. Like he was chewing straw. Dude came from a tobacco farm in Tennessee. I mean, I'm pretty sure like they descended from, they were plantation people. I'm pretty sure. The man never went out to field work today in his life. He's out there chewing on hay. I'm like, you're not the you're not the donkey. I mean, you are a jackass, but you're not a don't. I mean, what are you doing? But they do that. They go out there like, look, we got our flannel shirts. We got our jeans. We got our this and that. Oh, my gosh. And what really gets me is the extent to which these operatives go. They bend over backwards with this stuff, right? So I'm just fascinated. So anyway, you have Nikki Haley who's in Iowa. That's not a thing that you say to people in Iowa. or she was in New Hampshire saying this, talking about Iowans after she was just in Iowa.

That's not a thing that you say publicly when you're, you know, talking about getting votes because Iowans heard you. They heard you say that about them in New Hampshire. You can't go to New Hampshire and talk smack about Iowans and think Iowans are going to listen to you. We're going to hear it. It's not how any of that works. So she says this. That's going to be very interesting. What does that mean?

And then South Carolina. So New Hampshire correct it in the South Carolina brings it home. What is there to correct? Yeah. New Hampshire, you're going to correct Iowa. She goes over there. I love you, Iowa. I love you.

Oh my gosh, New Hampshire. I'm so glad to be out of there. So glad. It's like, damn children of the corn. So glad. It's just weird, right? She's not having the best time lately. She's exasperated.

Now here's one of the differences between a Nikki Haley and a Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Sarah Huckabee Sanders is she's exasperated, but you empathize with her. Nikki Haley gets exasperated and she makes you the enemy. That's at least how it comes across, intended or not. Sarah Huckabee Sanders made you feel like she was going to turn the car, pull the car over and beat you to death with a flip-flop. And she'd sigh.

She'd ever roll her eyes, but she'd sigh very dramatically, take a big breath and she's looking down at her notes, whichever she was at the podium, and the way, I mean, you'd go on the campaign trail even as governor. And she just, when she was exasperated, she internalized it. Nikki Haley externalizes it.

There's a big difference here. So she had the Civil War comment that was not great. And then she had this. And now this is coming out. Now, this was a few years ago when she said this. However, I do feel, though, that it is germane just as much today as it was the day that she said it. So this is a flashback audio where she was policing language about illegal immigration.

Listen. But let's keep in mind, these people that are wanting to come here, they want to come for a better life too. They have kids too. They have a heart too. So we don't need to be disrespectful. We don't need to talk about them as criminals. They're not. They're families that want a better life and they're desperate to get here.

You know what? You can be a family and also be a criminal. I know this is shocking. This is really shocking. You can be a dad and also be a criminal. What? No. You can be.

It's pretty unbelievable that. You can do a number of, you can be a number of things. You can wear shoes and be a criminal. What is, she was saying that she doesn't like the term criminal as it's applied to illegal immigrant or illegal alien, which just actually a legitimately legal term. When you enter illegally, that is what we call a crime, right? Crime. A crime is an illegal action, meaning it is violating existing law. It's breaking existing law, which is what a crime is. A person who commits a crime is called a criminal. Now, you may not like someone being called a criminal, but that doesn't make them less of a lawbreaker. is my point. So to say, to tell people that they can't, that they somehow must refrain from calling

people who break the law criminals, you're putting the burden on those people. You're, it's not the, it's not the responsibility of citizens to point out that, or to apologize or make excuses for people who break the, enter the country illegally, and that's immediately a breaking the law. It doesn't matter. This play to this emotional play, this play, this play to association. is irrelevant. That's like a policing speech. You know the people who are who are innocent citizens, particularly in border towns, their families too. The ones right now that are dealing with an onslaught of people coming across the border and vying for resources and selling drugs and doing all of this stuff and then increase in cartel activity, those are all dads and moms and all of that

too. So do they not have the, do they not get maybe first consideration as citizens of these United states, do they not get first consideration against this lawlessness? I just find that incredibly tone deaf. I hope she's asked that at the debate, but I'm not going to hold my breath. All right. So first up, we're going to get to the Epstein list stuff. Don't think I didn't see it or forgot about it. I haven't. There's a lot here. Universal overtakes Disney as the highest grossing. Gross. Gross. Grocing studio at the 2023 box office. I don't even know how, but they did. According to Variety, Universal. Well, I mean, it's obviously easy. Easy to know why. Didn't they, it was because Oppenheimer that put Universal over the top. They said that they had 24 films, blah, blah, blah, Super Mario Brothers Oppenheimer,

Megan, with the, that's the little girl robot, collected almost $5 billion worldwide in ticket sales. And they said that it was the first time since 2015 that Disney was not the global box office leader. Firefighters battle ablaze at Dolphin Star, Tyreek Hills home in Southwest Ranches. This is according to NBC Miami, the wide receiver was at practice.

He was in home, but his home went up in flames. Heavy smoke coming out. They had aerial shots and everything. He arrived and he was hugging family members. I guess they got everybody out. But man, alive. That was like crazy. They say, gosh, I don't care about the Kanye West headlines.

I don't care. I would rather jump off my roof and permanently maim myself than ever have to talk about this dude, for real. Or the thirst trap conservative, quote unquote, influencers that rushed to kiss his butt. plant-based sandwiches, salads, and pizza are not healthier than meat options. A completely obvious study has revealed. Yeah. I mean, you could eat vegetables and super healthy stuff every single day, and you could also hate life. You know, I mean, they said that researchers analyzed, they looked at 1,868 meals from 50 fast food chains across five countries.

They said the vegan options, duh, contain less protein. Really? Really? You mean the meatless options didn't have as much protein as the protein options? Hur. Hur. They also said that they had more carbs and sugar in the vegan options. Who?

What? I really? It's the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life. They actually did a study on this. Why they do is study on how some living creatures on earth, they breathe in the water. And some of us breathe out of the water. I mean, it's that. Yeah, I know what?

I don't think people understand how this works. According to the Metro, it's a British pay-pop. They said that apparently, I guess they do this every year. People are resetting their virginity on New Year's Day. Okay, that's not... Yeah, it's not how that works. You can't, like, reset. You know, if you were a big flaming, you know,

whole bag, you can't just be like, wait, New Year, new me. It's not like that anymore. It's not how that works. It's just not, you don't get to go back, okay? You don't get to go back. You know how you can prevent it, though, is keep your knees kissing, as my grandmother would say. Keep your knees kissing. Just think about it, if it doesn't make sense to you.

Just think. So they said that that's actually a thing where it trends. It's trending where people say that they are resetting. I mean, you can stop being promiscuous, but you can never just reset it and be like, okay, that's it. I'm just, no more. That's, it's it. I'm all brand new. It doesn't work out.

Yeah, it doesn't work out that way. And also, we told you about the, we told you about the Epstein list being revealed. Michael Jackson was mentioned. But that was it. Like, he was just mentioned. It's like a hodgepodge of weirdos and, like, names that you never thought would be in any way related. All mentioned. We're going to talk about that coming up.

That's good. That was, there's this big, they're having a legal fight on the razor wire that's in the water. I just, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, would have these measures border law. That's it. Now, I want to clarify, the list. Is it, now, I want to clarify, the list. The list. The list. The list is it, now, I want to clarify, the list is public information now with unredacted names. So a lot of this stuff was already out there, but the names were not made public. And now it is. So it's unredacted information from stuff that had been out there. And is anybody shocked about some of the stuff? I'm not saying that to

downplay it at all. But like for instance, Bill Clinton being a big old pervert, they said, it was said that in the in the documentation that he liked him young that's so nasty can I just I want to vomit you know that phrase I'm going to vomit a little on my mouth I want to vomit a lot in everybody's mouth it's so gross so these the names that popped up and what's his face David Copperfield's name popped up now not in conjunction with apparently using the services he had asked a girl if she was aware that she and others were being used to procure more girls. So all these people who were linked to Epstein, this is all part of this defamation case brought against Jelaine Maxwell by Virginia Roberts, who is, or now Virginia Guffrey. And she said, she was the one

who made the claims against what's his face, Andrew, that prince over in Britain. And now you have Al Gore, Kevin Species, Stephen Hawking were included in evidence filings. They said DiCaprio was mentioned. Cape Blanchet. Cameron Diaz? I don't believe you. And Bruce. Will I don't believe you. Naomi Campbell, they said none of those, none of them have been accused of any involvement with his crimes. He was a name dropper. So a lot of these also are names that have just been mentioned by, by like Guffrey when she would

hear, when he would drop names. When he would, she would say something and she would remember the name. She did say that she was, who's a, oh gosh, Pritzker. the guy governor of Illinois yeah yeah yeah his brother apparently she said that she was forced to have romantical times with him

yeah and he's a big Democrat donor all that stuff so they that's his name was one of the there's two people whose names haven't been unmasked yet haven't been released and I think that there's some legal wrangling that's still going on

with that but they said at one point and looking at all of this, and it's kind of wild. Like Stephen Hawking, they said, he was trying to reward one of his victim's friends if they could prove Guffrey's allegations false, including an allegation that Stephen Hawking, yes, that Stephen Hawking had participated in an underage orgy.

Now, he was pictured on the Pito Island in 2006, the island called Little St. James. He was pictured there before. But I, the email read, it was from Epstein to Maxwell and said he was content for her to issue a reward to any of Guffrey's friends to counter her claims. And they had the Clinton dinner one. They had, yeah, that's just weird. It's just weird. Apparently Michael Jackson's name was mentioned.

They said that they met Michael Jackson at Epstein's home in Palm Beach, Florida. nothing unto what happened. She did not offer him a massage. It's just weird. All of this stuff is so gross. I feel like we all need a bleach bath after reading this stuff. And now some of the, here's why some of the names were mentioned.

So here's a transcript, just to give you an example. So not every name that you hear means that they were literally like a customer of ill repute, right? These were people that Epstein would name drop to these girls. and he, because he was a name dropper, obviously. But for instance, she was asked, she was like giving him a massage and he would drop, name drop

Leonardo DiCaprio or Kate Blanchett or Bruce Willis, that kind of thing. That's why their names came up was because she used them as either an example or this is, you know, this was something that, you know, he had just mentioned them kind of on the side. Tom Pritzker is the Pritzker guy. She, they said that they, their spokesman. person said they continue to vehemently deny any allegations of impropriety, etc. But her deposition named a lot of these prominent figures, including Tom Pritzker, who's a billionaire, U.S. businessman.

J.B. Pritzker is his brother. J.B. Pritzker is, you know, governor of Illinois. Alan Dershowich was mentioned. Let's see. There's a celebrity hairstylist this guy I've never heard of was mentioned. And these other individuals now, they are accused of engaging in. you know, that kind of consumerism. I don't know how else you want to put it. She even named Bill Richardson, who was the late New Mexico governor.

And obviously Al Gore was mentioned and then Bill Clinton apparently. And they said there was the transcript that said that somebody had said, oh yeah, Bill Clinton, yeah, he likes them young. It's so gross. Is anybody kind of, is nobody, I don't think anybody's surprised about that one. Not that it makes it any, you don't have to, I should have to say that, but it's just, it's weird. Now, Epstein's brother had apparently said that the Clintons, you know, had a lot, there were a lot of perks that they enjoyed from the Epstein's, like, I guess, what, visiting properties and planes and all that stuff.

But nobody's, with regard to this case, no one's yet been accused. of the act, but it's really being highly insinuated that it happened. And Epstein's brother was like, well, if Jeffrey Epstein said all that he knew about Clinton and Trump, the election would have to be canceled. Now, Trump was mentioned, but not as a consumer. You know how I said that other people like name dropping and things like that. It's just really wild. But where's the, I think the Tom Pritzker thing, I was unaware of that one.

But where's the, is there anything that stands out as a big bombshell to you, Kane? And this? I was reading through these names last time. Yeah, I read through the names too. And I'm not surprised to see any of these. There was a couple that I saw that I thought were like, wow, 137 times. Okay. Ew. He just, you look at Epstein and he just looks like he's skeezy. He and Maxwell, they just

looks skeezy. So I don't know what's going to, I mean, whatever, I know that there's a couple of other names. I guess they act like those are the big names that have to be released. So I don't know. But man alive, it is, uh, it's gross. I'm just looking over some of it. When they released these documents, the website that hosted them crashed, obviously, uh, because of, ever, everybody wanted to see them. But yeah, these are the, they were released last night. Everyone was wondering, they're all the depositions that were taken in the case. And they have the quotes.

Like, the Clinton one, this was the testimony given by one of the victims. It just, it sounds like, I mean, you can put two to two together. You, you, you, it doesn't outright accuse him of impropriety, but it obviously speaks on a foundation of him having committed it. and I mean it just I don't just we it's just wild and it also it seems like a lot of people were aware of Epstein's character just like a lot of people were aware of Harvey Weinstein's character I mean I don't even I've never worked in Hollywood I have no never had an interest despite what the left loves to say about conservative women not every one of them has ever been an actress or wants to be people but they, I mean, I've heard people who are just kind of associated with that industry who apparently knew about all the stuff that Weinstein was involved in. And this seems to be very, very similar to that. A lot of people in the upper echelon of really leftist politics and business were well aware of who this guy was and what he was doing. So the fact that it, you know, you had to get to

this point just to get some of these names out. So, that there were a lot of people trying to cover their back sides. It makes me wonder, too, if a lot of the stuff that's being released, if it hasn't been really sanitized or reduced down as a way to sanitize it. I did notice some redacted information on the original doc dump. That could have been like HIPAA type stuff where there was testimony of certain, like, someone's health situation. That's about it as far as the redactions.

I thought that I didn't see many, as many as I thought I'd see. Yeah, yeah. So it's, yeah. And everybody was talking about Clinton perhaps being named already in this. I mean, that's not surprising. The guy had that portrait of Clinton in his New York place in that blue dress, which is weird also. We have more to get into. We have days of these United States on the way. Also, coming up, some of the latest with foreign policy. I've always had this on the back burner and I've always kind of watched over this. You know, the different ports around the world. and passages, like whether it's the Suez Canal, whether it's, you know, the Panama Canal, things like that. So now in the Red Sea, the Houthi have been really, really popping off. There's Houthi territory right there, just somewhat northeast of Saudi Arabia in the Red Sea. And obviously, the Houthi are a terrorist organization backed by Iran. They've been carrying out these attacks on merchant vessels in the Red Sea. And this is a very, very trafficked area of trade, cargo, et cetera. And it's disrupting World Trade. It's disrupting delivery and shipment and everything else. So the U.S. Navy

responded. They sunk three hoothy boats in the Red Sea. And then now Hesbel is calling for, well, they're still calling for ethnic cleansing and Gaza, but now everyone's wondering if Hesbel is going to get involved as a retaliatory measure because they're all linked. They're all Iranian back. And then there was a U.S. strike that killed a pro-Iran militia commander in their Baghdad headquarters. That news came out just late yesterday evening. So that's all, there's a lot of stuff to kind of keep an eye on there. We're going to touch on some of that.

The latest with Iowa also. I was going to get to this yesterday. USA boxing. I'm not going to watch USA boxing anymore. I'm not watching that. It's not welcome in my house. And I'll explain why here coming up. We have a lot more on the way.

so are the days of the United States. Equality suggests often everybody should get the same thing. Well, that often assumes everybody started out in the same place. No, that doesn't.

As opposed to, to equity, which is everyone should end up in the same place. And if you then understand not everybody started out in the same place, you understand some people need more. So we all end up in the same place. That's such a morally bankrupt concept.

Equity is evil. The practice of equity is absolutely evil. That's Kamala Harris talking about, with her mask on. Talking about equity versus equality. Equity is the practice of discriminatory. to achieve the same outcome, whereas equality is the practice of providing same opportunities,

but without guarantee of outcomes, because equity denies variables and differentiations like choice and discipline, willpower, things like that. I mean, you absolutely, you have to, you have to purposefully incorporate and practice discrimination. You don't achieve equality. through inequality. And that's what equity preaches, that in order to have the same, then you have to practice discrimination.

And equity is a morally bankrupt belief set. It really is. And she's, they try to define it as somehow being kinder or something,

you know, like, it's so stupid. You don't, you don't, to guarantee an outcome is a lie. It's like in the United States, there's no guarantee of happiness. You just have the freedom to pursue it. And choice all comes into play. By sidelining someone else

because their background might be different than another person's background, you are effectively, you're effectively punishing that person for having a better background. And as someone who was raised by a single parent who grew up poor as dirt, poorer than any of my contemporaries.

I do not know any one of my actual acquaintance that grew up poorer than I did. I grew up the poorest kid I knew. I did not have enough money for snacks at school. I didn't even have enough money for notebook paper. I lived off of hand-me-downs. Everything was a hand-me-down. I was lucky if I got a birthday present.

My mom worked three jobs. My whole family had to pitch. and to help. And everything that I got was because I worked so hard and I put in so many hours and I had a really insane amount of discipline and just went full hog and pursued everything I could. And if I did not have an opportunity because I grew up in southern Missouri, you know, it's not like there was, you know, it was just brimming with opportunity. If I didn't have an opportunity, I made it happen. So I also completely reject the argument from people that, well, you know, you just have, no, I didn't have, if I didn't have it, I made it. I made it happen. I would seek it out. And that's not even, I mean, I'm baby Gen X. Some people say I'm an elderly millennial. Those people need to get kicked in the head because I'm baby Gen X. It's not a generational thing. It's nothing like that. It's, and there's not even that much difference between all of those generations anyway to even argue that. This is not like the World War II generation, okay? I think it's an excuse by people who feel as though they are a little bit more entitled than their average bear.

Equity is a religion of entitlement. And you're penalizing people. Some people have moms and dads. Some people don't. Some people have dads. Some people don't have dads. Some people have moms. Some people don't have dads.

Some people are born rich. Some people are born poor. But to treat something that someone can't help and apply to them as some sort of secular original sin is evil. It's absolutely evil. And it's an excuse for greed. It is what people try to argue when they don't want to just come out and be honest that they're practicing the sin of greed. They are coveting what someone else has and so they want to sideline you for it.

Equity is just a mask for grade and sin. And people who practice it are abominable. They're evil. It's an evil practice. So that was a, for her to say that with a smile in her face. I mean, she benefits from all of that stuff. Of course, this is someone who didn't start out. Kamala Harris grew up rich compared to me.

Barack Obama grew up rich compared to me. That man grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth. I don't know the wealth that Barack Obama was born into and raised with. That's he has, that's privilege. I didn't have that. So I reject all of that stuff from, from all of these arguments from these disingenuous people. All right, coming up, we got a lot more on the. way, including the latest. There was a school shooting in Iowa that took place this morning,

their first day back after Christmas break. We've got some economic news to get into. We've got some woequerie. We also have energy, foreign policy, the latest at the Epstein list, immigration and Moore, and Governor Ronda Santos joins us later on in the program. Stick with us. We have more people coming across our border every single day than what New York gets in a week or a month. And so it's outrageous that they're saying that they cannot deal with this. But the last point, Dana, is the fact that there's only one reason why this is happening. And that's because Joe Biden has eliminated all of the four policies that Donald Trump put in place that led to the lowest illegal border crossings in 40 years. The Remain to Mexico policy,

the title of 42 policy, the end of catch and release, and building a border wall. if the Biden administration was enforcing the immigration laws passed by Congress, the mayors of New York, the leaders of New Jersey and Chicago, et cetera, they would not be having these problems. They wouldn't be having these problems if they just followed the law. Wow. It's weird how if you just follow the law, you just don't have these problems. Huh. That was Texas Governor Greg Abbott. He's going to be on the show tomorrow.

I got a lot of questions for him about everything that's this deluge. just in December alone. What was it? Cane? $290,000. Plus. Illegal immigrants across the border. People who are just coming in. Those are the ones that were observed.

But he's been here for like over a decade.

Living here for 13 years, I think, and finally became an American citizen. And his son, he cannot stay for an extended period of time because he's not a citizen. And this is a guy who makes money, adds to the tax base. You know, he's not committing crimes. He entered the country legally. I mean, those are the people that you want, right? They come in, they have enough respect for the... I wouldn't try to go and enter Britain or...

the Bahamas or anywhere else illegally. That would be super disrespectful to a country. And also, if I claimed to want to follow their laws, then how would I do that by the first thing I do is break the law by entering it? But his son, he can't get him to live with him. It's just wild because of how immigration law is. I was reading this piece. And it comes by way, it was a steady. statistician who put this out, looking at total H-1B visa registrations, a number of high-skilled

workers who want to work here in the United States. And there's a cap at 85,000 that will be filled. And, you know, when you're entering, I mean, you can apparently come right across the southern border, hop, skip, and a jump. But yet, if you're trying to legally move to the United States, It is so problematic. It's prohibitively. So especially, I mean, there are so many people, other friends of mine immigrated from India. They were engaged coming to the United States. He's a doctor for crying out loud. Had to fight and waited forever before. He became a citizen before his wife. And it took him, I want to say, like 11 to 12 years. and even with him being as skilled as he is in medicine. But yet, and the people who get the angriest over illegal immigration are people who immigrated here legally. I mean, we're angry too, but imagine having to wait over a decade to get into a country and then watch as people just come across the border. And because they entered across the border somehow all of the sympathy is expected to be on their part.

All of the consideration is expected to be towards them to hell with everyone else. you can understand why legal immigrants who are now are American citizens, why they get so, why they feel the way that they do about this, it's understandable. But it is crazy when you look. Legal immigration should be, I mean, if you're coming to the country, you should do it legally. It is insane to see this. And it used to be celebrated to be when you went through your naturalization process and you took your, you had your swearing it or your oath. You took your oath as a citizen. We had a friend a couple of

years ago who became an American citizen. And we, if it were not for the ridiculous pandemic restrictions, we would have been able to go and watch it as we had been invited. But they found out that it was actually only really them and the spouse. And then their kids couldn't even be there to see them become an American citizen. But take the oath and they used to give you like little pins or little flags. And they didn't even do that anymore. used to be a thing where you it was like celebratory now it doesn't even seem that way to the people that i you know the folks that i have friends of mine or folks that i know who've gone through this doesn't even seem to but they but but compare that to the way they treat people who come across

the border illegally so i don't know i i look at this we got a greggabit on tomorrow to talk about this because they're also having came pull this up for me uh this is audio sound by two so hr2 this is the big deal that they're all fighting over uh the house is saying look we're not going to fund a single thing until we get border funding. This is Chuck Schumer speaking about it. Listen. When the House clings to HR 2 as the only solution which every Democrat has voted against, I believe both House and Senate, certainly every senator voted, every Democratic senator voted against it. I think every Democratic House member voted against it as well. If not, it was almost that we want. We're not going to get a deal. But I think that if we pass something in the Senate,

And look, we're working hard to get that done. As I said, it's hard. It's hard. Well, it wouldn't be if you guys just did what you're supposed to do. Wouldn't be. Wouldn't be. So this is the HR2 secure the border act. And they want to use, they want to verify, you know, employment.

They're fighting over, they've been fighting over this for a couple of months now. And they're, some of the senators that are negotiating, they're trying to, to get in and negotiate some funding, but you have people like Chip Roy and others that are holding the line and saying, unless we get what we want, what we need, we have to shut down the border to illegal entry, unless we do that, we're not going to have any kind of negotiation for this. And I hope that they hold the line on this. Republicans historically have not. Immigration isn't just a problem with Democrats. It's a problem with Republicans who've always bent the knee. They wanted to go along to get along and they've been cowed into it by Democrats.

So I hope that that, I don't want to see that continue with us. A few other things to touch on. So this, I don't know if you saw this Perry High School this morning, their first day back after the, well, in the new year, after Christmas break, new details are out. They had one press conference already. It's Dallas County up there, but it's in Iowa, Perry High School. They had a reports of a, they had, they received reports of a school shooting right before school started at 7.40 in the morning

and Central Time. And they hadn't released any not, they hadn't released immediately any details on the suspect, although apparently the suspect was known to police. That's what was given out. They had two

victims from Perry High School transported via ambulance to one of the nearby hospitals in Des Moines. One of the victims was apparently the principal. A 15-year-old was grazed and with minor injuries, the individual they said, all they said that he was known to, or they were, they were known to police. I mean, you're just not, I'm assuming, you know.

So immediately, I, I always urge caution to people like in the wake of stuff like this because everybody wants to go out and be first. And then you have all of the same. known actors who want to go out and they want to politicize it and they want to push an agenda. You don't even know anything about it. But the fact that the suspect was reportedly known to police is, to me, is very, very significant because isn't that usually always the case with these incidents? I mean, when you go back to Parkland, that individual was so known to law enforcement, they had a monitor, walk, and attend classes with that.

individual because they were so violent and disruptive. I don't know how many people knew that. Were people aware of that? I mean, I talked about it tons at the time. Or how in the lead-up before what happened in Parkland happened, they had a parent who was a retired Secret Service, or former Secret Service, rather, who did an experiment, was able to get right inside the school in the morning before first Bell walked around with two stacks of Post-it notes and went through both stacks, just hitting people with post-it notes on their clothing, and then walked into the superintendent's office and said, if I had been a mass murderer, those would have all been casualties. You cannot have a completely unsecured building and just think that nothing, you can't have people

just be able to walk into your building. Adults, particularly, or people who aren't students or somebody who's behaving sketchy and do this. And notice that none of the people, especially those who are promoting gun control as an agenda. None of those people mentioned that. They didn't mention that the student in that, that the killer in that case had been repeatedly called into police, that it was also political. And it makes me

every time I hear these stories, particularly when they involve schools, I just, I want, and I'm not naming this murderer because they just released his name apparently nine minutes ago. I'm not naming, but apparently I don't know, looks like it might be politicized, not so sure.

That's some of the early reports coming out. There may have been some activism as part of it. That's all I'm going to put out there until law enforcement confirms more. But just horrific. It's just so, it's sad. And in Iowa, during primary season, the day after the Epstein list drops, I'm just saying it's just very, just it's unsettling. We have headlines coming up.

Also, some of the other stuff we're going to touch on. So USA boxing is now going to allow men who cosplay as women to compete against, to fight women boxers. They say under certain conditions, which is all bunk. So they're going to, they're going to have dead women. And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five. This is a fun fact. Russell Crow is apparently related to the last man who was beheaded in Britain, a guy known as Simon Lord Lovett,

who was known for laughing his head off. He was described as a Scottish Jacobite. He was the last person to be beheaded in England in 1747. I just thought it was interesting. I'm like, huh, maybe because the painting also kind of looks like Russell Crow, the painting of them. I'm just saying, it's kind of interesting. Also, apparently, there's no good news on inflation, blah, blah, blah. China's balloons are back.

This time they're over Taiwan, though. So now they're sending their spy balloons over Taiwan. The Taiwanese defense ministry reported four Chinese balloons floating across the island ahead of a pivotal election. It sounds like some good target practice, maybe, or like if you have a very big bottle rocket, some anti-air stuff, something like that. Also, let's see here. I can't even believe that I have this as a headline, but okay. Lulu lemon, right? Lulu lemons, I say it?

It's the yoga. They have stuff for dudes there. I did not even know that. They literally have... What? I'm sorry, dudes. You don't need to be going to Lulu Lemon. You don't.

No. No. No Lulu Lemon. But they said their billionaire founder actually criticized the company's diversity and inclusion efforts. According to Yahoo Finance, which wrote about it, they said that you got to be clear that you don't want certain customers. coming in. They said they're trying to be Lulu's Lulu Lemon's billionaire founder, Chip Wilson, of course, Nick Chub, insists that exclusivity, Trump's inclusivity. And he was

blasting the company that he stepped down from 10 years ago. He said that, I think the definition of a brand is that you're not something to everybody, and you've got to be clear about that. I mean, I think that's, how was that controversial? Everyone's like, oh, that's so controversial. It's not controversial. It's leggings. And honestly, some of y'all some people out there shouldn't be in leggings like i'm short-wasted i can't wear certain things that are for long-wasted people if you are a half a ton you should probably not wear leggings just saying also unpopular opinion leggings aren't pants they're not pants they're not

it's long underwear let's be real about it nobody wants to see your cheeks nobody wants to see nothing i mean i just think it just looks to me it looks trashy and i'm not 90 i've just I've always thought that. I'm like, leggings aren't pants. You look like you're trying too hard, which is just declass A. It looks thirsty. It looks like, you look like a pick me girl. Stop it. It's true. Anyway, I know the men are like, shut up, Dina. Shut up. But I'm right. Let's see a UFO buzzed Joe Biden's flight as Air Force One landed. And the UFO that did so apparently is being wiped from Google. An unexplained white spherical object appeared to buzz the U.S. Air Force tanker aircraft assigned to it. Was it a big job? giant Coke nugget from Hunter Biden, I don't know. A Coke nug that maybe he like lost? I don't know. They said it was the, it

buzzed the USS Force Air Force Tanker aircraft assigned to the flight protecting the president's, his aircraft, his official jet. And it was extraordinary footage. A Daily Star, it's a British-based publication. They copter

two aircraft, two aircraft enthusiast capture this UFO buzzing the president's flight as it came home to land in Los Angeles. But it's being scrubbed off the internet, they said. Hmm. Honestly, there was a press conference. I think that now the name of the individual, the suspect is being circulated, although law enforcement has been not, not. And I mean, obviously they're in the middle of an investigation, so they're not going to come out and tell you everything that's happening.

However, the crazy thing about this is that if, everything is to if everything that's being so far reported and again still waiting for law enforcement is to be believed then this person was already all over social media intimating violent uh behavior uh or intimating violent intent uh and talking about what they were going to what he was going to go and do to the school and there may be an activist bent to it so how many more people i mean if if you want to go ahead and get the card ahead of the horse and how many more people have to be laid at the altar of identity politics, particularly kids in schools, before you people stop trying to weaponize, you know,

alphabet activism. I mean, it's just crazy. It's crazy. And it's being widely reported. I know that there's big social media accounts reporting this. I get it. There's an, there's an eagerness to be first with stuff. But I think that there should be more of an eagerness to be accurate.

And so I just want to, I've been seeing a lot of this stuff out here. But, and I think it all should be kept on the back burner. And then when the dude's identity is publicly affirmed by law enforcement, then, you know, then there's a lot of, there's a lot of stuff that people have saved that this dude did on social media. But until then, and also, because you still have parents freaking out over understandably, what just happened in their child's school. Yeah. And there's a lot of other questions that I have.

I mean, was the school secured? how did someone get? I mean, there's a lot of questions that I have about this. Was this individual a student, a current student, et cetera, et cetera? It's just so irresponsible for these politicians to run out there and immediately make these grandstanding statements and inch towards an activist response to make people more vulnerable to use this, use a tragedy to do this. It's without even all of the information being in or even being confirmed, you would not allow that in any other type of situation. And it should definitely not be allowed here. It's just, it's, it's, it's sad. I mean, this dude, and apparently the accounts are being scrubbed really quickly. So goodness.

I mean, you had what, there's, there's a lot of, a lot of things here that this would be what, the one, two, three, four, fifth. If the social media, if all of that's correct, that would be what the fifth activist, that's a violent activist? It would be the fifth incident, which was carried out by a violent activist. Colorado Springs, Denver, Aberdeen, Nashville,

and Euvalli, apparently. Hmm, interesting. When is the, so when's the left going to stop weaponizing this stuff and putting people in danger? Mm. Incredibly sad. I'm just waiting for people, waiting for the apology, you're waiting for Gavin Newsom to come out.

You know what's going to happen. Waiting for Gavin Newsom. But there are a lot of questions that remain. School security, a lot of this stuff. And not everything costs money. And I know that a lot of objections to some of the hardening of targets, for instance, with schools, a lot of people object to say, well, that costs money.

No, actually, locking, just locking the door doesn't cost money. Being vigilant doesn't cost money. Practicing situational awareness. None of that costs money. It just takes, you know, time to take a look around, be observant. Being at level yellow awareness, that doesn't cost any kind of money. No one's saying that you have to have any kind of newfangled, gigantic security system, but allow people if they so choose and if they can be accredited,

because I know that due to existing federal law, if they want to carey to protect themselves and others, they should be allowed to do so. I mean, the school that my kids went to very much incorporated all of those things. And I still have, you know, contacts with the school, so I don't like to give everything out. But I think every school should be as attentive to its security as the school that my kids went to. They were, I mean, they were absolutely fantastic in making sure that students were safe and teachers that could train and they wanted to carry because they, It's not like an added. People act like, oh, well, I bear to teach.

I'm not there to carry a firearm. Well, people who carry firearms don't look at it like it's something that is so great a burden that it supersedes every other activity that they have to do in life. I mean, you can do, you can carry it if a threat arises and you want to protect yourself. I mean, it's just a dumb response that I hear from people. It doesn't, it's goofy. But this individual, if this individual was an activist, this is, that will be the fifth one. That will be the fifth one.

And so far, if all of that's a front, that's going to be pretty, that dude's a big time activist, big time alphabet activist, just saying. Is it another trans? We'll see. But you're not going to hear, even if it is, you wouldn't hear anything about it from the White House. Just like with Nashville, they acted like it was the trans community under attack when it was a member of the Trans liberation army or whatever, one of their hardcore activists. that went out and attacked school kids. Now, before the facts are in, they want to make more people vulnerable to violent actions and unacceptable.

That's one of the things I hope you think about going into 2024 and we're going to talk more about it because they've keep trying to push this assault weapons ban through it. Let me just tell you, the Republican Party is not guaranteed to keep the House and we are not on track to win the Senate. if you lose the House and the Senate and the White House, you will have an assault weapons ban. Regardless of whether or not it's constitutional, you'll have it. Oh, it will happen. Absolutely.

They will absolutely push it through. They've been, how many, every year they introduced it in the Senate. I was on a Dian Feinstein's favorite things to introduce in the Senate was another assault weapons ban. something that totally did not work previously when it was implemented in the 90s as supported by even a DOJ study and a Rand Institute of Left-Leaning Entity study. There's zero evidence that supports the claim that it actually worked to reduce crime. In fact, some of the worst mass shootings in American history happened during the assault weapons ban, including Collabine. So no, it didn't work. It didn't work.

But you know what did and what does? allowing people to be able to defend themselves. I wanted to bring this up because this isn't a surprise. A change in concealed carry law, it did not drive violent crime in Ohio cities. Remember when Ohio was considering when they were voting all moving to pass constitutional carry? They had six of their largest cities. They saw actually less violent crime with a firearm after their constitutional carry law took effect. This was a study. that was published by the Center for Justice Research, and it works in conjunction with Bowling Green State University and the Ohio AG.

Ohio, back in June of 2022, became the 23rd state to allow its citizens to carry, conceal what constitutional carry is, you know, you should be able to. And guess what? With all of the weeping and ashen of the teeth from the anti-second amendment lobby, they kept saying, oh, you're going to see, oh, gosh, there's going to be so much crime. There's going to be, you didn't see any of that, in fact, none of it. Researchers analyzed all of the data that went back for two years, A year before and a year after the law took effect, and they looked at crimes involving firearms, verified gunshot detection alerts.

They even looked at a number of officers struck by gunfire, and what they discussed or what they discovered, and it was all led by a Center for Justice Research Director with a doctorate and criminal justice. They showed a significant decrease in the number of crimes involving firearms in Akron, Columbus, and Toledo, and across all eight cities combined. and the rate of, they said that all of the rates everywhere from 22 to 18% the decreases, that's pretty significant. That's incredibly significant. Hmm. But they don't talk about any of this, which amazes me. Because if you're going to have a conversation about people's rights and you're trying to cite criminal, illegal usage of an legal to own inanimate object,

then logic dictates for the sake of honest discourse and science and reason that you would also include data such as this, or defensive gun usages outpacing every year criminal usage. This is why you had the anti-second Amendment lobby pressure the CDC to remove from its website. all defensive gun usage statistics because they said it was detrimental to their advocacy. And I didn't just say this. These were emailed receipts, discussions that were sent from anti-second amendment groups to members of the CDC. It was the biggest, most underreported story of last year. So very important. Very important. A couple of other things to hit. Did we see this video. Speaking of crime, it was in Las Vegas. And I mean, I was, my first thought was how high did this guy jump? Is that weird that I was like legit my first thought? So this judge is handing down the

sentence to this criminal and this dude jumps over and it's in Clark County. And this judge, this judge denied this criminal's probation, right? And deny this guy's probation. This guy bomb rushes this Clark County judge. And I'm just trying to, because, you know, the judge kind of sits up high. This guy literally leaps right over the desk and gets her, tries to get her.

It is absolutely crazy. I, I, I, and this guy apparently has a very, very dangerous. He's got a long record. So apparently back in April, he had threatened to bust the kneecaps of another man and apparently actually did it. Resulting in substantial bodily harm, clearly, according to the affidavit at the time. A judge had said, had ordered the guy to undergo a competency determination. And then he was previously in front of this judge, apparently, on charges of malicious destruction of property. He served time in prison for domestic

battery charges, all kinds of stuff. But that jump, dude, oh my gosh. That's crazy. And then the other guy, who was that the other fellow judge or somebody that was there that immediately jumped to tackle the guy? Good heavens. But this guy just jumped right up. That's pretty amazing.

I read she's okay, but golly. That's, uh, that was wild to watch that. Because the video that's online is like over two minutes long. And I'm watching. I'm like, okay, what? Oh my gosh. It's like all of a sudden out of nowhere it happens. We have Florida man on the way.

And then coming up in our third hour, we've got to get into some of the wokeery. We're also going to get into the latest on immigration. We're going to talk about all of that, hit all that. And we got to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as well who's going to join us. It's his life mission to make bad decisions. It's time for. Florida man. So a Florida man was arrested for intentionally crashing his car and then punching a driver, according to police, in Winter Haven. A man from Auburndale was arrested after police say yesterday

he intentionally crashed into another vehicle, or sorry, Tuesday, and then punched the driver in the face. The police said that Dustin Black, 21, attacked the victim who was at fault for the minor crash that involved Black's girlfriend. Authority said it was at an intersection. The victim made a U-turn, hit the girlfriend's vehicle on the driver's side, the victim then immediately stopped, backed up in an attempt to remove his vehicle from the other one. And at that point, Black was in the area when the crash occurred, stopped his truck next to the victim's vehicle, backed up, rammed into the passenger side. Then the victim got out and yelled that he was sorry. It was an accident. But then they said that apparently he had to throw his hands up because Black punched

him in his face repeatedly for the girlfriend ran over to stop him. That's definitely. not a way to handle an accident. I mean, it sounds like it was an accident. I hate it when you're trying to make a turn at a light and somebody does a U-turn into the same line that you are. In Texas, it's allowed. But it's kind of hard to see that other person's blinker sometimes and many times they just don't put it on. I can't tell you how many accidents I've seen because people just don't put indicators are for a reason. I get, gosh, I get mad over this stuff. Okay. A, uh, um, Southwest Florida man caught in a stolen vehicle told police he didn't steal it. He just found it.

Finders keepers, right? 22-year-old man from Lee County, Florida was arrested last week. He was pulled over in a stolen vehicle when police asked 22-year-old James Comer Jr. from Fort Myers about the Hyundai Hyundai, Hyundai, Santa Fe. Why can't I ever say the name of this stupid car? Hyundai Santa Fe. He said, no, no, no. I didn't take it. I found it.

That's what happened. I just found it. A woman had reported her Hyundai missing from her driveway the day after Christmas because and she left her, it left it unlocked in her driveway with keys inside. Gosh, such a shocker that it was stolen. Not saying that that justifies stealing, but don't be stupid. And they finally discovered the car. It just, that's not really a, that's not how that works. You know what I mean?

Like you don't. how do you know that you it didn't belong to anyone? Because if you're saying that you found it you're indicating that it didn't belong to it. In the grocery store parking lot? Where did you find it? Yeah.

In the grocery store parking lot at a 7-Eleven. You know, just there with all the personal belongings inside of it still. Just sitting there. Right? That's not how any of this works.

If you get up and if you get out of your car and you leave it, even if you leave it, your stuff in there stupidly, which you shouldn't. that doesn't mean that you're you're signaling to everyone. Okay, guys. It's yours now. Not really.

So, shockingly, the police did not believe him. And he was taken into custody where we get this fine mugshot. That wand is displayed for you now in the simulcast. Florida man intentionally drove car into the home of a person who wouldn't talk to him. This sounds like a banshees of an issue here in plot. Nobody cut off any fingers, though. A dude who, this Florida dude, drove his car into the house of this other dude who would not talk to him. Fabian Campbell, age 40, he's being charged with criminal mischief.

And apparently there's a charge for projecting a deadly missile into a home. Didn't know that. But it was in Fort Lauderdale. Yeah, he got mad because the stupid one talking to him. So he just like drove it right the heck into the car, right into the home. And it caused shockingly structural damage to the dwelling. I know. You were surprised that that happened.

But let's just take it to the kitchen table about people's health, financial well-being, the freedom to live their lives, and again, the opportunity that Joe Biden has given them. Oh, my gosh. that Joe Biden has bestowed upon you? and that's all there is to it. She actually said that this is, we should be grateful for the opportunity Biden has given you. What opportunity? The opportunity to die from fentanyl? What opportunity? What opportunity is she talking about?

You're not paying almost $7 for, you know, four sticks of butter. just you know because it's better than the it may be the same brand name and everything but it's better now

by the way So he's got his, he came out with an ad. He's got a new ad. It's his first ad of 2024. And he, I just don't think, it's just not a, it's not a good ad. He wants, well, this is his ad. Let's just start it because he's, he's making, it's all, it's like, just watch it. And then we'll talk.

Just, Juan's going to play it. Go ahead. I'm getting ahead of myself. There's an extremist movement who does not share the basic beliefs in our democracy. All of us are being asked right now. What will we do to maintain our democracy? History's watching. The world is watching. Most important, our children and grandchildren will hold us responsible.

The vice president and I have supported voting rights since day one of this administration. And I ask every American to join me in this course. So he wants to make J6 his big thing. And then he's acting like, oh my gosh, this is the future of all voting is happy. It's all on you. Well, yeah, it kind of is. So he has some speeches. Now he's got this ad focusing on still.

This was after the ad that he did trying to push Bidenomics, by the way. So it says doom and gloom campaign. That's old. I mean, really think about it. That's what it is. Doom and gloom. His campaign is going to be all entirely doom and gloom. It's going to be about, be terrified of people who don't vote like you.

Be terrified of them. They're all J-Sixers. That's entirely what he's doing. That's his whole pitch. You're going to see this hate and fear. That is his campaign. Hate and fear in 2024. They've already told you that's what they're going for right here.

that's not you're not pushing democracy you're not advocating for democracy you're fear mongering and you're trying to get your voters i i mean i really don't think that you need to rally your voters up anymore do we just we just saw what happened at that school in iowa right we saw what happened uh in nashville right i really don't think that you need to rile your voters up anymore this this anybody who criticize Biden's criticizing democracy anybody who's who tries to hold his family accountable i mean have you heard about some of the other stuff like for instance the hunter biden family they prove that he's been using all his actual bank accounts taking money out of his work accounts his working accounts and using that on the hookers and blow and everything else

yeah oh and he's got a documentary crew following him around That's a whole other joke for tomorrow. Yeah, I'm making a note of myself. I'm not going to get to it. It's not going to happen. It'll take up this whole segment. But this is Biden's pitch. It's going to be everybody who isn't a Democrat is a fascist.

And it's all doom and gloom. Everything is doom and gloom. That's his whole thing. It's the doom and gloom. Very, I just don't think that that is, how is, how does that resonate with voters? Aren't voters tired of it? Voters are looking for a way out. And his campaign doesn't give them one. He's going to go to, now listen to this. So this is, it was a now I'm pulling up some emails, bear with me. So he's hitting the campaign trail. This is AP.

He's officially now campaigning. And he's going, this is the, this is the Associated Press headline. Ready? Biden's kicking off 20, 24 by delving into some of the country's darkest moments. This is how they're starting this. It's why I see I wasn't far off with the doom and gloom. So he is going, he's going to try to evoke the revolutionary war to Mark J-Sex, which is, you know, we're what, two days away? And then he's going to go to South Carolina, the church, right?

he's going to go visit the church where you had black parishioners who were murdered. And by the way, remember that church, and the reason why that murder was allowed to happen is because the FBI under James Comey, they came out and they admitted that they had made a paperwork error. That dude was a prohibited possessor and should have never been legally allowed to buy the firearm that he used to carry out the murder. But he was allowed to because human error, someone messed something up from what county he was from, etc. He was already charged with a felony. and in that state you have to be charged with a felony to be deprived of your natural rights and they messed up

and there was a paperwork error. They actually have the statement that's still available online. You can look it up. I've written about it. I have it linked on various places. But James Comey actually wrote, author the letter when he was still head of FBI. He was the one who came out and authored the letter. But they try to say that it's because you, an innocent person, owning your firearm. So you know he's going to tie that into it. So he's going to, and then he's going to go to Valley Forge.

That's where Washington and Washington Continental Army, they wintered. He is, again, going to talk about the writing, blah, blah, blah. So he's going to focus, it's like, it reminds me of this book that came out. It was written by the chick who voiced the daughter in The Incredibles, and it was called Assassination Vacation. And it was this book that she wrote about, going to these morbid places in the U.S. to like a historical, you know, history-driven vacation. And it very much reminds me of what Biden's doing here. Or what Biden's doing here reminds me of that.

So he is focusing on what they describe as compelling threats to our democracies. And he wants to use the past as the way to frame their characterization of current events as a way to scare the hell out of you into voting for him. That's how they're doing it. I just don't think that that's going to work with people. I just don't think that's going to work. Do you think Kane that's going to work with people? I mean, I, I, things, though, are so divided, though. Are they more divided now than they ever have been?

I think that's, like, the big question. Yeah. Yeah. So maybe it would work. I don't know. How do you counter that? Well, the way you counter it is with hope and solution. The way you counter it is not with pettiness or backbiting or any of that.

you have to counter it with hope and providing solutions. So that's the way that they're, you're not going to convince. Everything is about the independence and you're not, and you're not going to be able, I think you have to go above and beyond merely saying that this is, this guy's bad, bad for democracy, so you got to vote for me. You got to, you got to give a solution as to why. I don't know. We're going to talk to Ron DeSantis about this coming up.

Because I'm curious, how do you counter this? Now that Biden's officially kicking us off this week, how do you counter this messaging? I'm just, you know. And they're also trying to say, here's the other thing. Listen to this. One of the other things that they're wanting to do, according to senior campaign officials, is compare how George Washington peacefully and voluntarily stepped down from power. And they're going to contrast that with what Trump's doing.

That's what the senior campaign officials are doing. Yeah. It's not just about policy difference. It's about, I do agree that it's about the fate of the country. Actually, this is where I do agree that it is about the fate of the country because think of everything that is on the line right now. Even if you're, you want to reject any kind of overture with foreign policy, just look domestically with the border, with gun control, with taxation, property, everything, everything, everything. We're about to lose the power of the purse. I, this is, it's troubling, very troubling. So this is why I think 2024, it, you can't make it about people. It has to be about policies. And you have to put the country first ahead of any interest of any politician who would have you convinced otherwise. Now, we've got a few other things that I want to make sure that we are hitting. I got some self-defense stuff as well.

And a couple of other, a couple of other stories here. that we want to get to before we hit into headlines. But I'm going to go into headlines now because I'm going to hit some of this in conjunction with that. And then coming up, we're going to talk to the Florida governor because Iowa's just what, like barely two weeks away. We are now officially in the campaign cycle. It's time to start pushing, time to start asking those questions. And how do you contrast doom and gloom? And now all of the news you would probably miss.

It's time for Dana's Quick Five. This isn't super important news, but it is to me. There's an owl in my attic. Right now, it's a barn owl, and it's going to be mine. It's like adorable. this hypothetical. All right. Moving on. We got the audio coming up. Comrade Jean-Pierre is called for a national red flag band to fight gun violence after the school shooting in Iowa. We're going to dive into that here coming up. Additionally, this, a World War II era unexploded bomb washed ashore on a Santa Cruz beach by powerful storms. Yeah, this, that seems that's like it's, I mean, I guess it's still.

you know, you can blow it up. They said bomb squad deployed by the sheriff's office deemed it safe and removed it from the shoreline. It was old and rusty. Is it still explodey? I mean, just, yeah. But anyway, they said it was safe. They moved it. There you go.

A Burger King employee who went 27 years without missing a day of work bought his first home thanks to donations. He goes, I know it's not a mansion, but it's mine, said Kevin Ford. He received money from thousands of donors. if we're going viral on TikTok. By the way, there's no shame in work. Work is work, and there's all pride in all work. But they raised $440,000. He had 27 years.

He did not miss a day of work. And he posted a video. He shared gifts after 27 years of work. And they gave him like a movie ticket and a Starbucks cup and some candy and all that. And people were like, wait, what? 27 years of work, never missed a day. And that's all you get. So, yeah, they raised money for him.

and they bought him a house. And so he began working the job as a single dad, raised his girls, and they said he continues there. He does look young. That dude looks young. I mean, he's got two grown daughters. That dude looks like he's in his 30s.

I think he's a vampire. That is not... You are not real! A man is accused of stealing an airplane from a North Las Vegas airport and flying it to California. Golly. How does this happen? According to the North Las Vegas police, it took place on New Year's Eve, December 30th.

This dude fired up a single-engine aircraft stolen from, is probably a private airport, obviously. It's what sounds like. They said the 40-year-old suspect flew it all the way to Barstow. And they got a call. They said, oh, the aircraft landed at the airport. And, of course, obviously, they took him into custody because he stole it. But they're still investigating. I mean, they were investigating at the time the story was written.

The desert may get up to 10 inches of snow as temperatures plunge. You know, it does get cold in the desert. Super cold, and it can snow in the desert. That's not crazy. This is happening in New Mexico, where a winter storm is set to bring up to 10 inches of snow to the desert state at the end of the week. According to the National Weather Service, they issued a special weather statement. And they said it's going to unload heavy snow across the southern high plains.

Yeah, that's not, I mean, you know people go skiing in New Mexico, right? They go to the mountains and they go skiing. So it's not unusual for the state to get. Snow and you can still be deserting and be cold and still. There is a gunpowder shortage. Ammunition prices are increasing with concerns over gunpowder. You know a lot of production actually is overseas because it's so dangerous to manufacture it. But this comes, this is from a local news station.

They said that you're going to, yeah, you are going to spend, well, yeah, obviously ammo is more. But they said the manufacturers are increasing prices in fear of a global gunpowder shortage. Now, some owners say they don't mind paying the price. They just want to know why and how much. I'm kind of one of them. Vista Outdoor, a parent company to many businesses, is increasing its ammunition prices due to this anticipated global shortage of gunpowder. The company confirmed in a letter to its customers that's going to go ahead and go with this increase beginning now.

It took place January 1st. All right, so coming up, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis joins us next. He has been campaigning in Iowa. How do you combat doom and gloom, especially now that Biden's kicked off his weirdo, campaign message. Stick with us. But honestly, the way that we're going to deal with this is to have legislation that deals with high-capacity magazines, assault weapons ban. That's how we're

going to move forward, a national red flag ban. And that's how we're going to deal with this epidemic that we're seeing across the country. That's what we keep saying. Enough is enough. So that is Corrine Jean-Pierre just a few minutes ago answering a question about the tragedy that took place at Perry High School in Iowa this morning. The first day back at school after the new year after Christmas break. And this is what students and teachers had to deal with. And we were giving you some of the latest just about that in covering it. Police, you know, excellent job in response. They had a press conference already.

And we only like to go with confirmed information. I don't go with speculation. I'm not going to go with stuff that I see on social media unless it's affirmed by law enforcement. So until it is, that's where we're going to stick with with all of the politics and activism in it. But I will say this rush to immediately politicize it and cite as motivation, things which, as we just said, haven't been confirmed by law enforcement. That's needless. And it's the first reaction of the anti-second amendment lobby. Welcome back to the program.

Dana Lash here with you, bottom of this third hour. And of course, you know, with this taking place in Iowa, Iowa is center stage because you have Iowa voting first here in just a couple of weeks. Iowa was also a very strong Second Amendment state. A year ago, they voted for constitutional carry. They actually saw a crime decrease. We saw that happen in Ohio as well. Actually, Ohio voted for constitutional carry. We saw that.

We've seen a lot of the statistics on this. And this is a very important issue for a lot of Iowa. And so how does this all play together without engaging in the fear, mongering that we always see from the left. And one person who I always just thought has been very good tone-wise and message-wise and fact-wise on this is Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who joins us now. It's been a very, very busy time for him, obviously. He's been campaigning in Iowa, also dealing with business back in Florida. Governor, it's good to be with you. Thank you for joining me. I just wanted to get your initial response as we've been covering, you know, this awful news coming

out of Iowa, just to the response here from KJP with the Biden White House. on red flag laws for this and as a response. Well, Dane, I mean, as a parent, you know, we want our schools to be safe. And if you have somebody going to a school and doing this and shooting and injuring people and killing people, you know, that's obviously a tragedy.

We've done a lot in Florida, as you know, on putting an emphasis on school security. I've got a first grader kindergarten or pre-payer. So my wife and I are very concerned about making sure our schools are safe. We've done a lot of good stuff. It seems like having talked to Governor Reynolds that there was a very quick response to this.

It seems like the authorities did a really good job. What KJP is saying, that does not relate to any of the facts that I've been given about this shooting. So I think it proves your point that they try to use these things as leverage to be able to advance an agenda they already want to achieve anyways, regardless of the facts on the ground. So trying to make it hyper-political,

I don't think is the way to go. And I think as more facts come out, I think people will see that what she said was really off base. One of the things that we do know in talking with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is that the suspect was apparently a known entity for the lack of a better way to put it. That seems awfully common in these cases. Just your top line thoughts on that. When the Parkland shooting happened in Florida, which would you know well because you were down there in the aftermath, I was running for governor. so I wasn't governor yet, but before the reports even came out identifying who did it, the people in that community knew who did it because there were so many warning signs.

And this is somebody that should have been held accountable multiple times. He should have had mental health intervention, all this other stuff. And so I think the tragedy in these situations is that all too often it's somebody that has a profile where this didn't just happen at a thin air, where they have exhibited. behavior rooted in problems with mental health. So in Florida, we have, particularly in the high schools, things called behavioral threat assessment, where folks who are exhibiting these types of warning signs

can have an intervention or be held accountable criminally, if in fact they're guilty of doing that, like the shooter in Parkland was. And so often I think that people just want to bury their heads in the sand. And we'll see what happened with the warning signs here, but man, this guy's profile seems, seems like this was somebody that you would not be surprised that they ended up doing something like this. And that's true. And some of the information that's being shared, and as the governor mentioned, too,

I mean, we're waiting to get confirmation on that from law enforcement. But if that all is as being reported, that it's going to be very obvious, just as it was in the case with Parkland. Governor, you mentioned, too, some of the stuff that was implemented in Florida. And I know that Governor Rick Scott before you had signed into law, red flag laws in Florida. as part of, it was sort of a gun control package. And I know that, that you were very much opposed to the red flag portion of it. You, you and I've spoken about this before with concerns over due process. I know that former President Trump had said he was in favor of red flag law. He was in favor of, I think the phrase was, you know, take the guns first, then due process, which seems to be a

backward way of approaching a cornerstone of our freedom in the country. But I wanted to get your thoughts on red flag laws. And I also wanted to know. what in your capacity is governor in Florida? Because I know you have a legislature to work with, but a lot of people are curious as to if that is something that is going to be done away with in Florida. I know there are some Florida lawmakers very hesitant to do away with red flag laws. There are some that are supportive of it. But what can you do in your capacity as governor to move that along? Well, first, when Donald Trump says take the guns first, then do process later, that's not just an attack on the second amendment. That's also an attack on the fifth amendment.

Amendment. Government can't take anything of you from you without due process. And yes, firearms are sensitive because it's an enumerated right in the Constitution, but they couldn't take your automobile or your TV set without due process. That's the cornerstone of a free society. And so I think the danger with Red Flag laws is that they counterman that. But then I think even something different, and you're right, in 2018, when that was done by the Florida legislature, I was a candidate for governor and I said I would have vetoed that bill on constitutional grounds. Not not the most popular position to take at the time because there was understandably a lot of emotion in the aftermath of Parkland. It was a terrible thing and there's an inclination to just want to do something.

But I had you have to side with the constitution when it's hard. If all you did was side when it was easy, then you wouldn't even need a constitution because that's that that's the design is when you're against public opinion sometimes. But I think looking now, compared to then, we've seen even more aggressive weaponization of government power. And so I think these things like red flag laws, if they were to be able to enact it federally, the Biden administration would weaponize that against people they don't like. And they would use that as an offensive pool to go after people's Second Amendment right. I think that's plain as day.

So that is a real serious warning sign in terms of what you're doing. And then what the legislature did in Florida, in 18, even though I did oppose it, was narrower than what you've seen in these liberal states. In Florida, it can only be done through an elected sheriff. In some of these liberal states, you can just have someone off the street call in and say somebody is a problem. And then they could go just off that off some one tip. So they're trying to tilt it in a way to really disfavor Second Amendment rights. And so that'll be a no go with me. Is that something that you think maybe relatively soon would be undone in Florida,

the existence of red flag law? Well, I think the issue with that is the legislature passed that overwhelmingly. But you still have people who are in the legislature who are on record as voting for it. And a lot of them did take some flag from the right on it. So they'd have to basically be reversing their votes in order to do it. So I have not seen enough that are willing to do it. do that to where you would be able to change. Now, that may change going forward. I think it would also depend on how much pressure they get from the grassroots on some of this stuff. But of all the

votes that the Florida legislature has taken in the last 20 years, I mean, this was definitely one of the most high-profile votes. But I think that those members' willingness to flip on it has been pretty limited. Talking with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Red Flaglan, all the considerations with due process, you mentioned. in the context of so many things that have happened in recent years, especially with abuses that we've seen at the DOJ, at the FBI. I have to ask you this just based on some of the quotes that we've seen in the past week. Do you agree with giving the FBI a new and spectacular building in D.C., governor?

Absolutely not. I mean, I was shocked when Donald Trump came out and endorsed that. He promised in 16 to drain the swamp. That's fortifying the swamp. So, no, we wouldn't do that. It's over a billion dollars. But then you also have the interest of, just the issue of accumulation of power inside DC.

We've created a separate bureaucratic class that is distinct from the great body of the American people. That was not what the founding fathers intended. And I think part of the problem with the FBI has been the fact that DC politics has really just infected it in ways that are producing people like a Peter Strzok or a McCabe. So no, not only would I not do that, I would move as many agencies out of D.C. as you can. I saw a soundbite.

I'm not going to, I'm just going to rehash. I'm sure you've seen it. Nikki Haley, former governor, Nikki Haley was in New Hampshire, saying that the order of things, Iowa, they cast their votes, and then New Hampshire corrects it and South Carolina brings it home.

I don't understand what New Hampshire corrects following the votes coming out of the Iowa caucuses, governor. Maybe there's some understanding of how this works that I don't get. Can you explain that for us? No, look, I mean, I think it was very disrespectful to Iowa voters because she's saying that those results need to, quote, be corrected. I think it's because she's seeing that she doesn't have a lot of support in Iowa. She is spending, and her Wall Street allies and liberal donors are spending an ungodly amount of money attacking me. I've had $40 million spent against me. That's more than has been spent against both Biden and Trump combined in this election cycle. And it's more that's been spent against all other Republicans combined just against me.

So that's what they're doing. But yes, it just shows you she does have contempt for people out here in Iowa. She's really gravitated to these Wall Street donors. She's bragged about being close with people like Larry Fink, the CEO of BlackRock. She's getting money from the founder of LinkedIn, who's one of the most significant left-wing donors in the country. And so I think that's the company she's keeping. So she looks in Iowa, you have a lot of people that are hardworking, patriotic, God-fearing, people that farm, people that own small businesses. And I just think she thinks she's above it.

So I think that comment is going to hurt her down the stretch here in Iowa. But I think it's been one thing after another Dana with Nikki Haley. You know, she was really, her candidacy has been created by the media and they've been pumping her up. but yet you watch how she's performed under a little bit of scrutiny. She's had a lot of difficulty to basically just go a single day without putting her foot in her mouth. And speaking of the media with us, talking with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, I know that you have a debate coming up with Nikki Haley. Of the, I guess, the top three in the Republican primary,

one of them is not going to be participating. Instead, they're going to be doing a debate with another network on the exact same night. That seems a little difficult for voters to follow. I just what kind of wanted to get your thoughts on that. I don't know why everybody can't get together and just have a debate or why the R&C can't say, look, if you want to do this, then everybody come in debate. Well, so the R&C just got out of the process. And so these are debates that are offered.

So CNN offered to do a debate. I accepted Donald Trump decline. Nikki Haley accepted. So we're going to do that on January 10th at 9 o'clock. And then just the other day, Fox News announced they're going to do a town hall with Donald Trump at the exact same time. So they're basically given him a lifeline and making it easier for him to duck the debate. So he's got to be in Iowa. Why not just debate the other candidates? He's not been willing to do that thus far. And I think it's a strategic decision because he doesn't want to have to explain his quote

about taking the guns first, going through due process later. He doesn't want to have to explain why he didn't fire Dr. Fauci. He doesn't want to have to explain why he didn't do anything to combat the BLM riots in the summer of 2020. He doesn't want to have to acknowledge the $7.8 trillion. He added to the debt. So it's like, I think all of us should be held accountable, Dana. I don't think it's healthy for the conservative movement, you know, to have one candidate that is not subjected to scrutiny. But that's kind of what it's been.

And I think quite frankly, Fox News has bailed him out by allowing him not to debate. But you're supposed to be the establishment candidate. That doesn't make sense because I was told I'm reliably informed by everybody on the internet that it's Ron DeSantis that's the, you know, the guy who created the Freedom Caucus. that the establishment hated back in 0809 and 10, 11, 12. I thought you were the establishment guy. And if you look at what we've done in Florida, I've beat the left more than any other Republican in modern times. We beat the teachers union.

We beat Soros. We beat Fauci. We beat the Florida Democratic Party. We've beat the ACLU in the left. We've done that time and time again in ways that have upset a lot of the big establishment donors. And so you have Donald Trump. He's endorsed by the entire Republican. leadership in D.C. in the U.S. House. So how is that anti-establishment when you're being endorsed by

those folks? I'm endorsed by people like Governor Kim Reynolds, one of the strongest conservative governors in America. Congressman Chip Roy, clearly not an establishment. Congressman Tom Massey, great Second Amendment advocate. So I'm really the candidate of the conservative grassroots. I'm the one that's been able to deliver a lot. I know. Nikki Haley's kind of got her liberal donors. Donald Trump's got the entrenched DC establishment lined up behind him. But not only do I have the best record, I'm also running on the boldest conservative agenda. A lot of the stuff Donald Trump's running on, quite frankly, he ran on in 2016 and didn't deliver.

I've delivered on 100% of my promises. And so people can, with me, they can expect that anything I'm telling you right now, I'm going to follow through with and do. And the way I sum up the primary at this point is very simple. Donald Trump's running for his issues. Nikki Haley's running for her donor's issues. I'm running for your issues, your family's issues, and to turn this country around. Last super quick, yes or no question for you, Governor, before we let you go, we know you're very busy.
