Starting point is 00:00:00 Civilians have been killed in Gaza as a consequence of those bombs and other ways in which they go after population centers. I made it clear that if they go into Rafa, they haven't gone on Rafa yet. If they go into Rafa, I'm not supplying the weapons that have been used historically to deal with Rafa, to deal with the cities, to deal with that problem. We're going to continue to make sure Israel is secure in terms of Iron Dome and their ability to respond to attacks, like came out of the least recently. But it's just wrong. We're not going to supply the weapons and the artillery shells used that have been used.
Starting point is 00:00:42 Artillery shells as well. Yeah, artillery shells. So it's Biden talking to CNN about what we will and will not be providing in case, you know, Israel decides to do what, you know, it's kind of, I mean, everybody's been talking about this for how many months now. we knew that this offensive was going to happen. It's not a question of if. It's a question of when. And we knew this offensive was going to happen. It has to happen because you have a number of high,
Starting point is 00:01:10 I mean, golly, how many damn times we've got to talk about the same damn story? It's nothing's changed. Literally nothing has changed at all whatsoever, except the pressure on Joe Biden to appease Hamas, to appease Dear Bornistan here in the United States. So welcome to. the program, Dana Lash with you. It's a very crazy busy, very crazy busy Thursday. And good to be
Starting point is 00:01:37 with you. So we'll, we're going to, we're going to cover all this stuff. We're going to get everything. Some of the stuff that we have today also includes from 2024. I am touching on some of the trial stuff, the, the, the New York trial, chunky McSkeys up there. Talking about story, me, Daniels. Chunky McSkees, which is name that we're going to forever use. Chunky McSkey. Only because, not because I'm like into, so I know half of my audience out there and I want to just be,
Starting point is 00:02:11 half of you are begging me, do not touch this trial. The other, there's like a quarter of you that are like, I don't care. And then a quarter of you are like just, just the bare necessities. And because you guys are like, and I get the emails and the comments. I got messages. on Instagram because we had one of the clips that went up that we had from our social team that went up on Instagram where we were kind of touching on the trial. And I had some messages and they were like,
Starting point is 00:02:38 we didn't want to see anything mean in the comments, but please, for the love of all things, holy, can you not talk about this trial? We get it all the time on cable news. It's 24-7 cable news. And I get it. But there are a couple of, there's just some touch points that I think are overall newsworthy without getting into the daily weeds of it. So I don't want to tear it. you when you tune in, especially like maybe you're just joining right now, whether it's terrestrily or the simulcast, maybe you're watching the simulcast. I'm only going to touch on the stuff that's, uh, that I think is important in the terms of major developments that may suggest what the outcome of the case may be or an impact on 2024. So that's kind of, you know,
Starting point is 00:03:23 that's really it. And with the chunky McSkey's case up there, uh, the Stormy Daniels case, they do you you don't remember the Harvey Weinstein trial because we didn't cover it exhaustively except to bring you developed like every now like oh here's the guilty verdict but remember how the verdict was overturned and do you know why the verdict was overturned because the apparently New York
Starting point is 00:03:42 New York State can't prosecute a case to save its life number one and they enter in all of this other they'll go above and beyond and they will do more than they need to in terms of when what they present as witnesses evidence etc and it gets to the point where it becomes prejudicial and it doesn't have any bearing on the case.
Starting point is 00:04:06 It's just the, you know, the prosecution that wants to beat up the witness. And in some cases, you know, yeah, I'm all for that. I mean, who doesn't want to see everyone. He wants to be it up. But that's what ultimately they overplayed their hand in the Weinstein case, which is why you got that verdict overturned, which is insane. But it was sloppy prosecution and just bad lawyerly, lawyering. and the prosecution in the Trump case, even though the case, this case in New York is absolutely stupid. And as I've said a million times, the only one that ever had any legs legitimately, and this has nothing to do with whether liking or not liking Trump,
Starting point is 00:04:41 it has everything to do with, well, there are some statutes that actually pertain to the confidential document case in Marlago. That was the only one I thought it had legs. This one was so stupid. And the state was already overplaying their hand. but then by bringing in chunky McSkies to sit up there and testify, she doesn't have any bearing on the case. She has no insight into the case. And she was up there apparently talking about some crazy details.
Starting point is 00:05:06 Now, some of you out there are like, well, Dana, this is what happens if you cheat on your wife or whatever, if you're accused of cheating. I get it. But again, when you start talking about the legal aspects of something, you got to get very clinical and all of that stuff goes to the wayside. Does it have any bearing on the case? because the case is specifically about the financial cataloging of a fee. That's what the case is about. It's not about the details of what they were doing or not doing. The case is specifically about the financial cataloging of a specific transaction,
Starting point is 00:05:40 a transaction that was not illegal. And what Alvin Bragg messed up in doing and the other prosecutors involved, because his predecessor did not want to pursue this. case what they should have actually and I read like a quick thing it was like a quick comment someone made why didn't they pursue it as if they really wanted to like get him or if they were smart about wanting to get him why didn't they like go at it as like a tax issue instead of saying oh he was engaged in some kind of illegal behavior and therefore omitted this in an accounting error to hide the crime which then elevates it to a felony I think the tax issue that actually may have been
Starting point is 00:06:16 like at least some more a more legitimate way to go after him but She has no, what the state's doing in this is they brought her up and she's testifying. And she's like, apparently she made the jury feel uncomfortable. I mean, think about it. You got Chunky McSkees up there who ain't looking so good these years. And she's up there talking about all kind of stuff, right? I mean, she's like talking about some only fan stuff. And it's just weird and it's gross and it's uncomfortable. And, you know, you can only argue the point that, yes, you know, you made your buddy. You got to lie in it to a certain extent. But that's after that, it's the state that's exploiting it. And that can actually that does set a legal precedent. But the prosecution is playing fast and loose here and that this is, it's considered prejudicial. They're just doing this to rub the defenses face in it. That's all they're doing. And it's kind of, I've never seen such dumb lawyers, right? Because usually you will, you will underpitch and not overpitch. You'll try to underplay and not overplay so you can guarantee some kind of conviction. But with this, it's like they don't care. So, In so much as discussing the case goes, I do think that that's important because there is a good chance, especially if there's appeal, if they do vote, if they do determine, if the jury determines to convict him, there's enough evidence there where they've laid the prosecution's laid the foundation for appeal. I mean, they've made it so easy already. It's insane. And it would, it would absolutely go the way of a Weinstein overturn, regardless of whether or not the verdict was legitimate, because he had already been convicted in Los Angeles, which it was legitimate.
Starting point is 00:07:50 I think, but it's how the prosecution plays its hand and they're screwing themselves again here, just like the state, as we explained yesterday, screwed themselves in the situation in Florida with the way that they just didn't even like deal with properly documenting all of the stuff that they were getting out of that the Marlaco classified document thing. So it's really, this is really weird. And we're going to continue following it. But it's, you know, and bring it to you when it's, when we got some super important stuff. But I thought that, I think. think that is actually I do think that it's important for you to follow and these are important things because you know you hear you hear this you hear all these cable news heads talk about it I mean well
Starting point is 00:08:33 depending on whom you listen to you know it's sometimes it's not so great but they're just they they want to ignore the facts and they only want to analyze what they want to happen so some of the other stuff that we are following here and we're going to because it's We've got all of these cases going down. You've got the college trash babies, those campuses. I think that's kind of, I think, falling by the wayside. Don't you think so? Don't you think that's losing steam?
Starting point is 00:08:59 I feel like it's losing steam. Yeah, because everybody's going home. That's one of the reasons why everything is total chaos at Lash headquarters because we've got kids moving back and all kinds of craziness and everything else. And it's on Mother's Day weekend, too. So that's, and I think the kids, there's just, you know, they can't keep it up. that long. The left can't really keep up protest that long. That's why they have to have waves of fresh protesters come in. This is exactly like when they did it. This is exactly like what it was
Starting point is 00:09:31 with the Occupy Wall Street and even the Antifa stuff. So this is one of the things that we've been, one of the things that we've been watching. Now, in addition to all of this, we've got the latest with Israel and Rafi. That's what we've opened with. There were explosions in Rafa last night. that's what you heard Biden discussing just then in that interview with CNN when he was explaining, well, you know, if they do this, we're not going to. Well, what else is there to do? That's the other thing. No one in the administration has outlined an alternative.
Starting point is 00:10:03 No one in the administration has said, okay, well, if you don't, if we, since we oppose any kind of ground operation, this is what we have as an alternative. No one has actually said that. So they don't leave Israel with a lot of options. And furthermore, they're still planning and launching attacks, even from all the way in Rafa. They still have battalions of Hamas in Rafa. By the way, they still have all those hostages. There's not going to be a compromise. This will never be over until all Hamas is dead.
Starting point is 00:10:30 And the longer that we keep dragging it out, the more people will die. So everybody just needs to get out of the way and let Israel do what it needs to do. Egypt's not going to care so much what happens if they clear out Hamas out of Rafa. Because Egypt doesn't like them either. That's why they built a wall. That's why they don't allow any refugees to come in or any other Arab League nation. So a lot of stuff. Now, a couple of things here to get into.
Starting point is 00:10:52 Last night, we've got, gosh, there was the ongoing fighting within the House. Mm-hmm. The ongoing fighting within the House of Representatives because you had Marjorie Taylor Green versus Mike Johnson. Apparently, because the House rejected the effort. and there were some Democrats that joined in to save Speaker Johnson. I think they don't really, because they don't really have the numbers either. And I think that they are, they've got some plans, I believe, to try to make Republicans look as ridiculous. They don't really need a lot of help right now.
Starting point is 00:11:30 To make Republicans look as ridiculous as possible with some of these bills and to push through some of these bills in. And so I feel like if it would have served their purposes to have Mike Johnson be evicted from the House seat, by vote, they would have done it. And I don't think it serves their purposes. So whenever you see Democrats act this way, just, you know, just, just be suspicious because it wasn't out of the goodness of their hearts that they joined together and they prevented Mike Johnson from being kicked out of the seat. So Marjorie Taylor Green failed to oust him. I think that the other, because they keep reading things that that Trump got involved. I don't really think he got involved, but I do think that he told her maybe to knock it off. And not because, you know, he thinks that
Starting point is 00:12:12 that Johnson's a good speaker. I'm just speculating here. But if the House is in disarray, then that makes Republicans look even worse. Because the public, I think, to a certain extent, will accept the stuff that they see with Trump in the courtroom as state-sponsored witch hunt, right? But then at the same time, there is this cumulative effect of Republicans involved in all of these things that don't have to do with the important day-to-day issues of Americans. and when you have that cumulative effect,
Starting point is 00:12:43 when you have too many Republicans look like they're involved in some of the interpersonal stuff or anything that doesn't involve the issues of the country, that does kind of plant a seat in the mind of the voter. And I do think that Trump's advisors
Starting point is 00:12:55 are at least keen on that. And so this stuff in the House needs to stop. Granted, they don't have the numbers to actually pass anything meaningful in the House. And we're going to talk about one of the things that was meaningful
Starting point is 00:13:06 that shouldn't have gotten through that did. But they do have enough numbers to at least put up a really, really good fight and maybe win over some moderate Democrats if it's something that needs to get done. This is my favorite. acronym ever in the world. And I learned it from John Taffer because Bar Rescue is probably one of the top two television shows that's ever been put on television. I will fight you. Do you know what Dink is, the acronym? Dink stands for dual income, no kids. That's what it stands for. So you got Dinks, right? So whenever I'm talking about PatriotMobil and then I'm like, ah, they got plans for families for Dinks, that's what I'm talking about. Dual income, no kids. So in China, because they had the one child policy for so long and all this other
Starting point is 00:15:08 stuff. Now it's made a comeback because some of the baby commies, they want to spin big and they don't want, they can't be ballers if they got kids. So they're dinks. And now it's a major problem in China because they're like, whoa, hold up. We don't have like a whole other generation coming up. What are you guys doing? Well, it's because you're commies. And you control the population. That led to a shortage of young people. And in 2016, they finally up the limit to two kids. So in 2021, it became three. You cannot have more than three kids in China. But it went in that short time span from one kid limit to three. That's how bad off they are.
Starting point is 00:15:42 This absolutely fascinates me. So rifle, don't tell Christy Noem. Actually, if Christy Noem and a rifle armed robot dog entered the octagon who would win, Marine Special Operators are testing rifle armed robot dogs. Oh my goodness. Oh, numby, pop, pow, pow. I love this. I would still baby talk it.
Starting point is 00:16:04 They are Special Forces Command. someone in the military is listening to me going woman it's the first organization that uses rifle wielding robot dogs I mean I know that we thought oh maybe we'll cure cancer it's 2024 we'll have a cure for cancer nope robot dogs with rifles okay I'll take it that's all right so they said they've been working on this they look like the legs look like French burglars
Starting point is 00:16:29 if you put a sheet over it like a you know like it'll look like two French burglar legs underneath you also have record wave of Americans are leaving big cities for small ones in 2023. And if you want to sell your home in Bidonomics, get ready to be disappointed. Stick with us. So my advice is to prepare for the next disease or infection. Get out in front of it.

What about, I mean, but there's real pain. I mean, grocery prices are up 30%, more than 30% since the beginning of the pandemic. And people are spending more in food
Starting point is 00:18:15 and groceries than they have at any time really in the past 30 years. I mean, that's a real day-to-day pain that people feel. No, no, it really is. And it's real. But the fact is that if you take a look at what the people have, they have the money to spend. It's angers them. anger's me that you have to spend more. For example, the whole idea of this notion that Senator Casey talked about shrinkflation. I think it's on your... Same price for a smaller bottle of juice or something. For example, stickers bar that did a thing. And it's like 20% less for the same price. That's corporate greed. Wait. It's corporate greed. And we've got to deal with it. He actually has the audacity to say other
Starting point is 00:18:57 people are greedy. This is the guy who made you share the burden of some rich kids college tuition. And don't think that it's not rich kids because we broke those statistics down for you that were from the government. They're publicly available on this contraption called the Webernets. And we broke those statistics down for you. It's like kids, it's like people who are going into like getting grad school degrees and all this stuff. Like it's the academic aristocracy that you're that you're subsidizing. And he did that, but yet he has the audacity to say that companies that have to spend more for the materials required to make their products and they have to pass that cost off because they're not just going to eat it
Starting point is 00:19:41 because they also have bottom lines to make. He says that's greed. Wow. That's like that meme where the two Spider-Men are pointing at each other. What in the world? Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you bottom of this first hour. Who is they when he's like, they have the money to spend. Who is that? Who's they? Is it, are you they? Are we they? No. I'm not they. I was just telling them, my butter went up again. The butter that I like, that Atlanta Lakes butter that I get, I don't even get the benefit of having an Indian on it.
Starting point is 00:20:13 And as Kane pointed out so helpfully, made me mad now. We got time for those fights, but not for these economic battles. No, he's like, this was his let them eat cake answer. Holy wow. He's like, well, you know, the market. responding to my economic policies is market is just corporate greed. The greed is you demanding that money you didn't earn is yours to spend on bills that other people accrued. That's greed if we're to have a conversation of what is greed. Jeez. This, so I guess they is us in this. There's there's more too. I know. There's more here too. Because So he's, he, and he mentions that whole, because the thing with the candy bars, why does he always go back to that?
Starting point is 00:21:02 I mean, everything, everybody's having to, they're having to repackage and repurpose everything because prices are so expensive. And prices are expensive for even the materials, the raw materials that are used to make the products that he's complaining about. Either he has no idea how his policies actually trickle down and that's a real thing and affect the average, day person or he just had another stroke in his interview. I don't know. One of the two. And that's it. I mean, when you, when you think of, consider inflation is making making it to where the dollar doesn't stretch as far. Things are more expensive. Do they expect companies? I was talking, for instance, the lady cuts my hair. I was talking to her. And she was explaining how, especially for her clients who, her, when she, she has to bleach their hair. Like apparently
Starting point is 00:21:55 women who get their hair bleached. Oh my gosh, there are prices for their hair maintenance is just out of control. Dudes are like, oh, what? But listen, she was explaining to me in detail how the certain chemicals that she purchases, how much it has increased, you know, by dollar amount very, very specifically, how much that has increased just from every year since 2020. And then she's like, now do the math on this. You know, if I'm having to buy X amount and it's increased X amount. You know, here is an additional X amount of dollars that I have to pay a month. I can't just eat that. She's like, I have to then increase the prices for my services to include the increased prices for these materials that I have to purchase in order to perform my services.
Starting point is 00:22:45 And she was like, and I was talking to the rep of this one, I guess, company that does, like, that does hair dye or something. And she was saying that their raw materials have increased in prices. And she said they even gave us this sheet that explains how their raw materials to make the dyes and stuff that, you know, we use, how and why they have increased month per month, and how now that trickles down to us because we have to pay more for that product. And then ultimately, it's the consumer that has to pay more because you can't expect the proprietor or the practitioner to just eat the cost. Expecting someone else to do that is greed. That's the definition. of greed. Trying to be generous with someone else's money is the definition of greed. Assuming that
Starting point is 00:23:29 someone owes you something and has to pay your bills is the definition of greed. Demanding that hardworking Americans can incessantly pay your spending, your big spending budget, that's great. And so that's how, that's why we're in this position. It was fascinating, though, when she was explaining to me, you know, just the item per item cost increase. And I was, I mean, she was like incurring, I mean, you're talking like hundreds of dollars extra and expense a month. I mean, she's like, she was running like upwards of like almost $700 and extra expenses a month because of the amount of clients that she has, the services that she does, and how expensive everything has gotten. It's wild. Like even, they were saying
Starting point is 00:24:12 sharpening their scissors is even getting, everything's getting more expensive because it's expensive for everybody. That's not corporate greed. That's, that's Joe Biden's policies. And I guess you could define Joe Biden's policies as greed. That's how I would define every Democrat economic policy. Audio sound by one, listen to him trying to gaslight you on the economy's better and everybody knows it. Do you believe this? Listen to this. Audio sound by one. This is insane. It's also true right now, Mr. President, that voters by a wide margin trust Trump more on the economy. They say that in polls. And part of the reason for that may be the numbers. And you're aware of many of these, of course. The cost of buying a home in the United States is double what it was when you look at your monthly cost from before the pandemic.
Starting point is 00:24:57 Real income when you account for inflation is actually down since you took office. Economic growth last week, far short of expectations. Consumer confidence, maybe no surprise, is near a two-year low. With less than six months to go to Election Day, are you worried that you're running out of time to turn that around? We've already turned around. look, look at the Michigan survey. For 65% of America people think they're in good shape economically.
Starting point is 00:25:25 They think the nation's not in good shape, but they're personally in good shape. The polling data has been wrong all along. How has the polling data been wrong? That's what I don't understand. What do you mean that polling data has been wrong? What does he mean? But I don't understand that.
Starting point is 00:25:41 What data has been wrong? There hasn't been any data that's been wrong. I mean, things are more expensive, bottom line. Speaking of greed, I want to turn my attention for a minute to the one group, I guess it's still trying to squat on their college campus. This is in Denver. Have you, everybody has their list of demands. And the camp collective in Denver. So you have the college kids.
Starting point is 00:26:14 Now it's like turning into illegal immigrants. So in Denver, they've kind of morphed into one thing. They've got a bunch of illegal immigrants in an unauthorized encampment. And now they're also flying the Hamas flag. What? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Uh-huh. So while you have the college kids doing all this stuff,
Starting point is 00:26:36 now you have these illegal, literal, literal actual illegal immigrants in an unauthorized encampment in Denver who refused to go to a shelter. And they've been flying the Hamas flag. in the gaza flag in Denver. And they had a list of demands. The city said that they needed to move. They were, they said at least go into a bridge. They were going to fund moving them.
Starting point is 00:27:03 Denver Human Services was trying to get them into shelters. And the illegal immigrants said no. And the city says, well, we're going to continue to offer services to illegal immigrants who choose the shelter over encampments. And so they sent a list of demand. to the city in order for them to, I guess, move. This was their demands at this, they said in order for them to go to the shelter. Quote, they will cook their own food with fresh, culturally appropriate ingredients instead of pre-made meals, rice, chicken, flour, oil, butter, tomatoes, onions, and people will not be punished for bringing in and eating outside food.
Starting point is 00:27:45 Shower access will be available without time limits and can be actually. access to whenever. We're not in the military. We're civilians. You're not American civilians. You're literally illegal aliens. You have no citizenship and no claim here. They said medical professional visits will happen regularly and referrals and connections for specialty care will be made as needed. Like, who pays for that? They said all will receive the same housing support that has been offered to others. Who pays for that? They said there has to be a clean, just process before exit. someone for any reason? They said all shelter residents, again, literal actual illegal aliens, which is a legal term, will receive connection to employment support, including work permit applications,
Starting point is 00:28:30 consultations for each person family with a free immigration lawyer. They said that must, that must be arranged to discuss their cases. And then the city has to provide ongoing legal support, including transportation. By the way, they said the city will provide privacy for families and the shelter. No more, they said the staff, they don't want the staff speaking to them. No sheriff sleeping inside and no monitoring. We're not criminals and we won't be treated as such. You literally enter the country illegally. So by that very definition you are. They want free transportation for their kids that they brought in illegally to and from schools. They're not allowed to separate families. It doesn't matter if the kids don't have the same names or they can't prove that the kids are the children of the adults.
Starting point is 00:29:19 Great for child trafficking. I mean, this is all the demands that they have. I think they should get their happy asses back to wherever they immigrated illegally from, personally. But this is the list of demands that they sent out to Denver. Can you imagine going to Jamaica, going to any country, beautiful subtropical country, you know, where a lot of people go for vacation, maybe Mexico, maybe Dominican Republic, maybe Puerto Rico, maybe Jamaica, TCI, wherever, Antigua, and just squatting somewhere and then issuing a list of demands like this. I need free housing, free medicine. I need to be provided with free culturally appropriate foods.
Starting point is 00:30:07 Unlimited showers. Yeah, unlimited showers. Transportation the whole night. Can you imagine? Oh, man. Kane, what did you just put in slack? Go ahead and say that last one. The last one? I think Colorado imported a bunch of coyotes and wolves for their conservation. Just recently, they approved it, and I think they shipped them in. And I think I know where at least a few of those wolves and coyotes could go.
Starting point is 00:30:36 Maybe this encampment. Stretch their legs, you know. Yeah. Just get out there and, you know, see the world. Let these wolves and the coyotes get out there. Don't fence them in, bro. And just be wolves and coyotes. Just let them be themselves.
Starting point is 00:30:47 Let them be themselves, right? I'm saying, you know, I think of the wolves and coyotes. That's right. Oh, man. Is that not greed, though? Can you imagine going into another country and being so rude as to do it? What are you told as an American tourist? Like, don't act like, you know, don't, don't, because there's this, um, this, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:31:07 I guess, like stereotype that Americans are brash and loud and aggressive and and that that's considered like a faux paw if you're not polite if you're in it like a lot of these other nations or particularly European nations but why do Americans? Americans wouldn't do this to anybody else's country but this is acceptable. Try this in Ireland. Well, Ireland was allowing it for a while but then the people got mad. Try this in Italy right now. I mean you have to be able, you can't even get into a hotel unless you prove that you if you don't if you're not an Italian you have to literally show them your passport before they will allow you. You. to assume a room. And you have to carry your documents on your person. And if you could stop at one of their police and you don't have it, they can totally carture your butt to jail. And it can't be a copy of the documents.
Starting point is 00:31:55 Don't believe the people will tell you that. That's a lie. For real. But here, you can make a list of demands. I would like free fresh produce, wouldn't we all? We have more on the way. We got today in the days of these United States coming up as we roll towards the conclusion of the first hour.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of the United States. Universities left in Gaza. Same.
Starting point is 00:33:32 Same. Israeli forces have killed over 35,000 Palestinians. Same. They have slaughtered over 14,000 children. The entire population. population of Gaza is on the brink of starvation. Israeli forces are currently invading Rafa, where 1.5 Palestinians, including over 600 children, are trapped, living in makeshift tents without food, clean water, sanitation, medicine, or any form of shelter. To hear that a mother
Starting point is 00:34:03 has to choose which child she's going to feed and Gaza, shameful. Why did Hamas do this? No one asks that. Why did Hamas do this? Why do you support them? Why do you? Why do? Why do you support them? do not speak out more against Hamas because that's the elected government of this whole area. Why didn't you speak out, golly? This is just all theatrical. I don't believe that Rashida Tili or any of these other people care about Gaza or what happens there. Because if they did, they would have spoken up when Hamas was doing this stuff, literally back in 2005. They would have spoken up way earlier.
Starting point is 00:34:34 They only speak up when Israel acts to defend itself after Hamas does something heinous. apparently you're supposed to allow Hamas to kill and rape people to death. Well, rape people to death and kill them. And kidnap their babies. You're supposed to allow that because if you don't, then you're a Zionist. Did you know that? If you don't support raping people to death, then you're a Zionist. That's what I hear from all of these, you know, pro-Hamas people, people like were shoot
Starting point is 00:35:00 to leave in Illinois. They're the occupiers. The Hamas government and those who support Hamas, those are the occupiers. And those are the settlers in Gaza. They were given, like welfare recipients, a strip of land replete with everything from greenhouses to plumbing. And they destroyed it all. And under 20 years destroyed everything in favor of carrying out these barbaric terrorist atrocities. And they could have passed every time.
Starting point is 00:35:28 Every time. So coming up, House Bill 7109. You need to be familiar with this because this is kind of crazy. this move, Republicans in Congress have been pushing to require citizenship on the census. And there was now apparently we're going to include this representation for people who are not actual legal citizens. It's called the Equal Representation Act. And we're going to call, we're going to talk about this coming up because they voted on this yesterday in the House. We're going to discuss this.
Starting point is 00:36:06 We're also going to get into. we've got some cultural stuff as well. You know, they're going to be making another Lord of the Rings. But it's not going to be like a good one, I don't think. We'll explain. Stick with us. More in store. Our partners for this portion of our program, I don't care if you don't like Amazon or Netflix.
Starting point is 00:36:21 I don't care. If you have not switched to Patriot Mobile, you are putting more money in the pocket of DEI, playing parenthood, et cetera, et cetera, than using any of those other services. Because so many of these cell phone companies have these political action committees and they are putting your money handover fist into making sure these become a policy reality. So this is why you need to switch to Patriot Mobile. Unless you hate saving money, maybe you're one of those people who are like, oh, I buy inflation. Yes. Higher taxes, yes. I want to spend more of my money on political action stuff that advances progressive and communist things.
Starting point is 00:36:59 This is where Patriot Mobile comes in. They don't do any of that stuff. And you actually get good service. They have the best service on all of the major performance. I mean, it's all three major networks. You get the best dependable nationwide coverage. Free activation using Code Dana. Keep your phone. Keep your number. Upgrade.
Starting point is 00:37:14 The choice is yours. And they have 100% U.S.-based customer service team. So you're helping to support American jobs. Visit Patriotmobile.com slash Dana. They have plans for everyone. Deadburnt lesbians. Dinks. They've got them for families of all sizes.
Starting point is 00:37:27 Business of all sizes. Your invisible pal. Singles, whatever you want. They got a plan for you. Make the switch. 972 Patriot. PatriotetMobil.com. Code Dana to get free activation.
Starting point is 00:37:39 Make the switch today or the communist win. Well, you see interest rates moving down, pre-opening equities moving up. That's because in this backwards world we live in, initial jobless claims came in hotter than expected. We're looking for a number around 210,000, 231,000. This happens to be the largest amount of initial claims since the last week in August,
Starting point is 00:38:05 and last month had a very subtle revision from 28,000. to 209,000. Yeah, but see, I mean, yes, the unemployment is not what the administration is saying it is. I mean, yeah, you know, we've got unemployment numbers higher
Starting point is 00:38:23 than what we thought they were going to be. Yeah, I mean, you know, so on and so forth, whatever, you know. That's Rick Santelli, by the way, CNBC, jobless claims. It's just, you know, a little hotter than what we thought. I mean, 231's a little higher than 214, right? A little bit.
Starting point is 00:38:41 Yeah, isn't it? Yeah, well, that's just some math there. Welcome back again. Top of the second hour. Daniel Lash with you, you can listen Coast to Coast. You can also watch the simulcast of the radio show and check out my mildly good hair day on DirecTV, Channel 347. I got to get in the mood because I got Nick Searcy coming up. So I got to, you know, I got to match his energy.
Starting point is 00:39:02 So I got to get up there. Yeah, our good friend Nick Searcy from Justified. and a million other things. He's going to be on Shape of Water, all that he's going to be on the program with us later. So Biden says, and this is AudioSumby 2, despite, we got the strongest economy in the world. What are people like actual experts
Starting point is 00:39:19 like Rixie and Telly talking about? So listen to it. This is Audio Sumby 2 from his recent interview. We have the strongest economy in the world. Let me say it again, in the world. Although GDP last week was far short of expectations. Oh, it wasn't. Look, GDP's still good. Look at the response to the markets.
Starting point is 00:39:36 Yeah, look at him. I mean, you're just, I like how he goes, the world, duh. Like that makes a difference. Oh, I mean, I took you way more seriously when you said world, duh, than world. I mean, that, Mr. President, makes all the difference in the world, all the difference. But this is the lie that he's been pushing over and over again. And he's really trying to downplay the, he can't talk economy, he can't talk border. What is he going to talk about?
Starting point is 00:40:07 He keeps having to say, no, audio sund bite six. No, people, I'm fine. People aren't going to make up their minds until the fall. Yes and no. Listen to this. I'm feeling good about the trajectory of the campaign. And you know as well as I do. Most people don't really focus and make up their mind until the fall.
Starting point is 00:40:26 There's a lot going on. And we'll see what happens. Yeah. That's not entirely true, though. A lot of people start making up their minds before then. And yes, you do have elections that are determined in the margins, but a lot of people still make up their minds way earlier than that. And so what he's saying here doesn't necessarily ring true. Furthermore, he's just not doing well polling-wise.
Starting point is 00:40:51 But what I'm going to say something you're going to probably think is unpopular. I'm more concerned about Trump being tied with Biden than anything else. Because if Biden, which I think, you know, I wasn't there for Carter, that's why I asked everyone not too long ago, if you live through Carter, compare for everybody. Give all of us the perspective that you have through your experience. And compare what you live through with Carter to what you're living through with Biden now and tell me who's worse. And it's fascinating because there were thousands of responses. And I went through as many as I could.
Starting point is 00:41:25 But the answers were all the same. Everyone thinks the people who live through Carter and now are living through Biden think that Biden's worse. but they felt like Carter was somehow not excusing him, but less malicious, right, is I guess the summation. Like he, not that he was innocent, but he didn't have, it wasn't a priority, the objective to just destroy the economy, the way they really feel that it is with Biden. And I get it because some of the moves that I see you taking that I see Biden taking are just, I mean, they're destructive. although I can't get past, and I've read two different biographies on Carter now, I can't get past his, his involvement in the Middle East to me is malicious. Carter's Biden, whereas Biden is worse with the economy and a lot of domestic issues and he's really bad with foreign policy. Maybe I'm just looking through this, through the biased lens of history here.
Starting point is 00:42:28 I would just think that creating the disaster in the Middle East maybe takes press. right? Does that make sense, Kane? Like, like maybe creating all of this with the Shah and all that. Maybe that maybe that kind of takes precedent. I don't know. But regardless, my concern is that, and I've been looking, I'm looking at some of the poll, the latest surveys here, and you're going to start seeing more and more. If Biden is the worst president ever, why in the ever-loving hell is Trump tied with him? And a statistical dead heat. now I still think the and I'm very picky on what surveys I look at and what I take like if I go to RCP they average in everything I don't necessarily think you should take everything because some of them are push-poles some of them are designed just to get a specific answer or a specific representation for a specific narrative we talked about this before but why if Trump is is so much better and I'm not saying this is an accusation I'm asking this is an accusation I'm asking this how in the world can people think how are they tied because the economy under Trump
Starting point is 00:43:33 was better the foreign policy was better granted Trump spent like his administration were spending like crazy before lockdown before COVID that's a that's a fact and I had said before lockdown you can go back in my archives and I've even written about it that Republicans have got to get to handle get a handle on spending otherwise Democrats are going to say that the tax cuts and this this was at the time when the Trump administration was proposing tax cuts before they passed them. It was temporary for non-businesses. But I had said that they're going to argue Democrats are going to use the incessant spending plus the tax cuts to say that tax cuts cost, and we're going to have to either expire tax cuts earlier or hike taxes up altogether in order
Starting point is 00:44:15 to offset the government spending. So that's, that is something that is not up for debate that happened. But even then, we still had lower taxes. We still had a more robust economy. It's one of the reasons why we were able as we were emerging from lockdown, which we never should have gone through, which is a bad economic decision. As we were emerging from lockdown, it's one of the reasons why we weren't completely gutted before Biden took office. But he's still statistically tied. That is not good, guys. You cannot have somebody like Joe Biden be tied with you. And where I'm looking at, I think the most important surveys that I've been looking at are the blue wall states. where you have Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan, Wisconsin, I was looking at Wisconsin, I mean, Biden's job approval, 39 to 56% approved to disapprove respectively.
Starting point is 00:45:11 And this is wild. It is, it's so bad. And yet, it's tied. So, yes, we're still a little out. And I think that that it's the job of the campaign and the party to make that case. I think what Trump should do when he's at his trial, you know, in New York and he's got to be up there and he comes out every now and then they have breaks and he comes out and he says some words to the reporters assembled. He should be going out and and remarking on his hits. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:45:43 Talk about tax cuts. Talk about trade. Talk about jobs. Talk about production and manufacturing and bringing manufacturing back to the United States. Talk about foreign policy issues. use that opportunity as a free campaign ad. I think it's dumb for him to come out and just say a couple things about the trial. Everybody, I think pretty much by and large, everyone thinks that the New York exercise,
Starting point is 00:46:11 regardless of what you think of the action that led everyone to this, it wasn't illegal and it's a witch on. I think that's the Democrats that are saying this. Okay, so that's established in people's minds. now do your part and make the case on behalf of Republican voters. Talk about the disenfranchisement that so many feel a lack of representation from this party with the taxes paid and the services rendered. Talk about the educational gap. Talk about the crime.
Starting point is 00:46:43 How they've decided to not even fight crime anymore. They just decided to stop reporting it as a way to fake lowering crime. These are all of the things that he should hit. He should hit his strongest issues. pick an issue per day, and every single time you come to that microphone or you come to the gaggle of reporters, just cover the hits. Every time, make it a free campaign ad. Do you know everyone will have to take that?
Starting point is 00:47:09 Because CNN shows it, Fox shows it, MSNBC shows it, NBC shows it, NBC shows it, ABC shows it, CBS shows it, CBS shows it, damn, NPR shows it, PBS, I mean, they all show it. Everybody shows it. Every single day. Start using that as a stage, not to talk about the trial, but to talk about and put the spotlight on those issues. Talk about the border. Talk about how, if you're going to cite the trial in anything, contrast the way that they're going after something like this with the way they go after, the guy who tried to kill the, or the guy, Daniel Penny, tried to defend himself and defend other people on that subway platform. Or the bodega owner who was defending himself against a knife-wielding thug. or the other the dad who was trying to defend himself and others a black New Yorker again another subway another subway platform in a different part of the city use New York as the avatar for everything wrong with Democrat policy if you're going to touch on the trial at all do it through
Starting point is 00:48:14 that perspective that's what the campaign should be doing right now they should be instructing him he should be going out there wall up and everyone on that and saying wasn't it so much better for over four years ago wasn't it so much better don't talk about the trial, don't rant about it. Nobody wants, nobody gives, nobody cares. Honestly, our audience does not care. People don't care by and large. They really don't. Because they're too busy freaking out over what the hell's going to happen in November. And they are, they should, honestly. I don't want to freak you out, but yeah, you should be actually incredibly nervous about this. I mean, just the, the jobless rate that I was just
Starting point is 00:48:53 talking to you about. The inflation, the housing market, There's there are all of the, the restless chatter of an impending crash. These are all huge issues. Wisconsin, Quinnipiac has Biden at 40, Trump at 39. Wisconsin. That's a decent survey. I did look at that one this morning. I think there's like only a margin of errors, like 2.3 or something like that.
Starting point is 00:49:23 So it's not that. I mean, it's a statistical debt heat in Wisconsin. There is an opportunity there, but the Republican Party has to now figure out a new way to campaign and so does Trump. And he's got to be super disciplined. This is like when you do a cable news hit, you know that you only get a couple of minutes. So you've got to distill everything down that you're going to say into a couple of punchy sound bites. Granted, it creates a sound bite culture. But it is what it is. You got to play the Game of Thrones if you want to win. He should be disciplined on message and he should be going out there punching it
Starting point is 00:49:56 every single time. Make it to where they want to get this trial over with and just get him out of there because he's using it as a giant campaign ad every time. That's what they need to focus on. Black Rifle Coffee, I had two cups. I don't even know what it was. I just said, give me whatever strong. And I saw dark roast on the bag. It was a new bag that was open. And I feel like I could probably like Hulk out right now. It's all I know. I needed to wake up. I needed to wake up this morning. It was like the weather's changing. I was sleepy. You know how it is. Black Rifle Coffee is the best coffee that you can get in America. It is so. good. And a lot of people, a lot of big coffee out there, they're very uncomfortable by the presence
Starting point is 00:50:37 of Black Rifle Coffee because they're mainstreaming everything that we love about the USA. And I mean, it's literally called Black Rifle. So, you know, I love it. Veteran owned, veteran operated. They hire retired and active duty. And they serve premium coffee to people who love America. They get the best beans. Every bag's roasted right here in the USAVA. You got ground, you got whole bean, you got cake cups, you got ready to drink. And you can also find Kettles, Grinders, Mugs, and so much more. Now, you can join the Black Rifle Coffee Club. I sincerely hope you do this. This is the best way to get it.
Starting point is 00:51:05 You're going to save more than the boogiest brand. You're going to save more getting coffee with Black Rifle Coffee Coffee Club than you would buying it at the store, buying any coffee at the store, because you pick your roast frequency of shipment. Starting point is 00:51:20 Make your order a coffee today and get 20% off using Codeana. That's 20% off, Coedana, Black Rifle Coffee.com. And now, all of the news. news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five. So AstraZeneca is pulling its Rona vaccine from the European market, but why not the U.S. market, right? Why wouldn't they pull it from the U.S. market? According to the Associated Press, AstraZeneca was pulling that, the injections, the clot shot. They requested that the European authorization be pulled, according to the EU Medicines regulator. It was in the European Medicines
Starting point is 00:51:58 agency's website on Wednesday of this week. So yesterday. And they said that the approval for the AstraZeneca Vaxervia had been withdrawn at the request of the marketing authorization holder. Hmm. That they got because they got doubt. So why is why not the U.S.? Why not the, and aren't we still mandating it for people to come in the country? The same. So they're trying to say that fish are shrinking. I'm waiting for Joe Biden to say that it's because of fish greed. but apparently they're trying to make us to be about climate change with shrinking fish.
Starting point is 00:52:33 There's really, there's a lot of overfishing is not climate change and there has been a lot of overfishing in different parts of the world and that's ultimately, they keep trying to tack on climate change but that's not any part of it. And it's cyclical too because when the overfishing stops and they pull back
Starting point is 00:52:54 then fish the fish grow. I mean, good heavens. Are we seriously? the stupid. Everything's that, you know, the medieval claim of climate change. Neurilink's first brain chip implant in a human has appeared to go pretty flawlessly. But there's a problem. The number of implants of the implants threads came out according to this MSNPs. There's one problem, though. Neurlink encountered a problem. It was Nolan Arbaugh, who was the first receipts. It was the first recipient, the first human patient, it reduced the amount of data that it could capture from his
Starting point is 00:53:31 brain and some of the data was lost because the implants threads that were placed in his brain came out. And it wasn't disclosed immediately why some of the threads retracted unexpectedly. Neurlink posted about the situation after the Wall Street Journal asked about the issue. And they said that they think it might be the air was trapped inside the skull after surgery and that's a condition that's not totally uncommon. And they said that it. It hasn't appeared to pose a risk to him. He's a quadriplegic since 2016, since a car accident. But they said that they're floating, maybe removing it, maybe replanting it.
Starting point is 00:54:07 So I can't even imagine, like the, gosh, doing that. And the threads came out. Purported Las Vegas alien video is unaltered, says an expert. I got to told you this. So you guys remember this? Okay, do you remember? We played this like right when it happened. You all remember the video of the people.
Starting point is 00:54:27 who were like in their backyard and they said that there were two beings back there and so this dude who works with video analysis said there's no editing this is an original video. We tried to debunk it and because they this the family, the Kenmore
Starting point is 00:54:43 family called 911 they said something that is not human is in our yard. We play that call and now they're like it looks legit. Aliens you're telling me I am like super excited about aliens. See that's not boring. Everything else is boring.
Starting point is 00:54:58 But you know what else isn't boring? My friend Nick Searcy is going to be joining me next. He's got a new book coming out. We're just going to shoot the breeze. Stick with us. Ready to grow your intellectual RolidX? Download the Dana Show podcast and join the ranks of those who refuse to settle for the same old boring content on Apple, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. You know, I was going to play the justified theme coming into this segment.
Starting point is 00:55:22 But I'm like, you know, the man in black seems to suit the legendary. Nick Searcy the best. And so I had to play one of my favorite Johnny Cash tracks for him coming in. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you. You can listen coast to coast. You can find us terrestrily in hundreds of markets. Listen, stream the radio show, Channel 347 direct TV, Rumble X everywhere else. Nick Searcy doesn't really need a lot of introduction. He's in one of my favorite television series, justified, although I haven't started the new one, which came out. I think it was July last year. But I've watched the original one. And I love his character of Art He is such an aserbic smart ass in that I love that.
Starting point is 00:56:02 I love that character. But he's done so many great films. And he's the type of guy who has made a career for himself where he can say what he wants and do what he wants. And people respect his body of work enough where they're like, all right, all right, all right. We're not going to get, we're not going to say anything to you. Not many people in Hollywood have that. And then if you still try to mess with him, he'll beat you over the head with his peabody. And he joins us now via Skype.
Starting point is 00:56:26 Nick Searcy, congratulations. You got a new book that is out that gets into some of what we were just talking about. It's called Justify This, a career without compromise. And it comes out later this month. Congratulations. Thank you, Dana. It's good to see you again. As you can see, I'm like now portraying an intelligent author of a book. So this is my costume I have on. You don't need a costume. That's who you are. You wear many hats. That's who you are. So this book you get into because you have, one of the most interesting careers, and you are unashamedly honest about your political beliefs. I mean, I don't know anyone else who could actually tell the story of what is happening with these people who have been persecuted and prosecuted following J6 with the film you did or the Gossinel film that you also did and be so honest and transparent with it. And then you're still like, you know, making hits in television and in film. How is that possible? That's what I don't.
Starting point is 00:57:26 Because everyone else gets canceled but you. I don't really understand it either, Dana. I mean, maybe they don't know who I am. Maybe they don't listen to alternative media so they don't hear me talking anywhere. But I'm not sure why. I'm sure there are certain people in Hollywood that say, no, we don't want to work with that guy. But I get enough work. I mean, I've got a Netflix series coming out next year with Nicole Kidman that I have a nice little role in.
Starting point is 00:57:51 And I'm actually releasing a sequel to Capital Punishment on. May 17, all the war on truth, which is, you know, continuing to tell the story of how the January 6 people have been treated. And we're, and that, I just got to touch on that because when you look at what's happening on the college campuses and the vandalism and the broken windows and I watched many videos from these campus riots across the country where they're screaming at cops, like racial slurs at police officers. And these are like white Hamas supporters. Nothing with those people. But then if you're walking past the Capitol in January 6, you're thrown in a jail in your life ruined. Yeah. Well, the protesters on college campuses are protesters that this government
Starting point is 00:58:31 supports. They want those protests to happen because those protests are tearing down the fabric of American society. And the people who went to Washington on January 6th believe in the Constitution and believe in America. Those are the biggest enemies to this administration, people who love America. I think that's a fair point because, I mean, you can tell by the legal prosecution that effort as well. You, in capital punishment in this movie that you, that you did, which was really powerful and there was a lot of stuff in there that I was even unaware of and following this, I was amazed by some of the, um, uh, justification for charges that were given in a way to go after these people. I mean, they went after grandmothers. They were very grandmothers in jail.
Starting point is 00:59:16 Like, people who were, who, who saw all these people going in and security, capital security, waving them in and they would go in and they were all very polite looking around and then they left and then the next thing they know they get unlawful parading or some kind of charge that they try to ratchet up to a felony and I and there were this affected hundreds of people. Yes and it's continuing to happen. They're they've arrested more people this year already than they arrested last year because they're continuing to go after people. They've run out of people that actually went inside and Matthew Graves, the district attorney, announced that they're going start going after people who just were standing around outside because according to him,
Starting point is 00:59:55 they had already entered a restricted area. And in our movie, the War on Truth, you can see the people removing the signs before the people walk from the ellipse to the Capitol. They're taking down all the signs that say, you're entering a restricted area, stay out. So these people didn't know that they were entering a restricted area. That doesn't matter. Yeah. How does that not factor into the the prosecutorial decision with us. That's what I don't get. I mean, it's like deliberate. Well, because the point of this is not justice. They're not trying to do something to bring justice to these people. What they're doing is sending a message and saying, if you resist us, this is what will happen to you. Do you see what we're doing to these people? Keep your mouth shut no matter what we do,
Starting point is 01:00:40 or we'll do this to you. Why did you choose to tell these stories in this film? Well, you know, I was there myself on January the 6th. And what I saw there that day didn't match anything that I saw on the media. So that's what started me on the journey of talking to these people. And the more I talked to them, the more outraged I got. And the matter I became. And I said, this is not right. Nobody's telling these people's stories.
Starting point is 01:01:07 The media is not telling these people's stories. The media, in fact, demonizes these people and ruins their reasons. reputations in their neighborhoods and their businesses get closed they lose their jobs they can't be employed they're literally trying to ruin these people and so i just felt like we you know nobody else is and i want to i want to tell these people's stories yeah and i don't think that they would be widely known had you not done this we're talking with our friend nick searcy if you're listening to the radio program or if you're watching you can see them on the simulcast it's it's similar to how they did how they treated activists with the tea party and i'm always i don't know why i'm amazed but
Starting point is 01:01:44 the way that they'll look at they treat Antifa or Burnlut murder or now even the college protesters, those protesters by way of their political persuasion and affiliation, they're virtuous. Their protests, Nick, are virtuous. If they break windows, it's a virtuous cause. You know, it's, what was it, the cries of the unheard, I think is how one judge characterized one of these BLM rioters. But with everyone else, they're the terrorists. And I don't think that that's playing well in the minds of the public anymore, do you?
Starting point is 01:02:14 No, it's not playing well, but what we have to realize is that totalitarian societies are never established by a majority. There's a minority of people that take power and then they use the media to propagandize everybody and terrorize everybody and intimidate them into accepting whatever comes. So that's why these protests are happening now. The people that are protesting on campuses now are the same people that protested at BLM, same people that did occupy Wall Street. years ago. It's the same people. They're trying to make America unsafe so that the only source of any sort of safety is the government. When you speak on these issues and you do these projects and then you go and you do your work, I'm so curious as to how you're received. How to how I mean, because you're Nick seriously and everyone's like, he's that guy. He's that he's that crazy patriotic
Starting point is 01:03:08 terrorist. You know, I, I got to say, I don't, I don't, I don't, they, They don't, they act like they don't know. When I'm on the set, nobody speaks to me about that. It's like, hey, how you been? You know, whatever. You know, it's like when I guest hosted for Rush Limbaugh long ago, I was really worried about what that would do to my career. And my friend Adam Baldwin said, they won't even know you did it.
Starting point is 01:03:35 Limbaugh. Just don't tell anybody. They won't even know. And I think that might be what's happening. I don't know. I'd never get confronted. I never, never have. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:46 Might happen to this, but I never have. How did I, because you played a chief U.S. Marshal and justified. And then you're watching law enforcement with regards to J.6. I'm just curious, like your portrayal and as a U.S. Marshal and, you know, figure of authority. And then, you know, exploring this in the film. And then, of course, the sequel to this that you have coming on on May 17th. How did that, did one inform the other? like how did how is there a relationship there like did you did that help you in terms of how you were you were approaching organizing these stories and showcasing them for people well yeah in a way i guess it did i've played a lot of played a lot of cops i've played a lot of over the years there's been an awful lot of cops because you know i'm not the leading man so if you're if you're not the guy kissing the girl you're either the you're the leading man in the scenes that you're in though well i'm i'm a leading man trapped in a character actor
Starting point is 01:04:43 body. That's what happens. That's what I go into in the book. Look at that book cover. But yeah, it did inform me in a way and mostly in the way that I was shocked at the way these real life policemen are acting because it's like that would never fly and justified. That would never fly for my character to be doing the same, the things that these people are doing. Because what the FBI is doing is basically terrorizing peaceful citizens. They're breaking down their doors at 6 a.m. People that have never been arrested for anything before in their lives, they're treating them like they're about to blow the world up.
Starting point is 01:05:22 And none of it makes any sense except when you accept that it's deliberate, that they're doing this on purpose to intimidate. When I first watched Capital Punishment and I was following some of these cases, it didn't surprise me to see the abuse so much by some members of law enforcement after what happened. I don't know if you're familiar with what happened in Wisconsin after the recall of Scott Walker when they were showing up in the middle of the night
Starting point is 01:05:49 to these innocent people, no criminal record. They just happened to help with a recall effort. And they were dragging them out in the front lawn at 3 a.m. And the media just happened to be tipped off and they happened to be there and were able to snap pictures of the wife in our nightgown and the terrified kids.
Starting point is 01:06:04 When I first saw that happening in Wisconsin, that shocked me. I think that was, I don't want to sound naive, but that seemed like, wow, our law enforcement, our federal law can do that. And then when I was watching your movie, I'm like, of course they can. So like the span of time that I went from being completely naive to, you know, that. I was like, of course they can do that. I'm not surprised.
Starting point is 01:06:24 That's a quick, that's a quick timeline, though. But has it always been that way or has it been that way recently? More so recently. I think it's been revealed recently. I think it's been that way for a while. And I think that this has been a long march through the institutions of our country. They've corrupted every institution that I can think of, the education system, Hollywood, the military. They've corrupted it all.
Starting point is 01:06:49 And, you know, by now it's the COVID vaccine stuff helped them drum out anybody in their ranks that was going to resist them. So now you have an FBI that is pretty much just a tool of the Democrat Party that's in charge or the Uniparty, whatever it is. Some of the Republicans are just as bad. Yeah. And the two tiers of justice, we were just talking about this New York case a little bit ago and how, you know, you can have a particular charge that exceeds, you know, past the statute limitations. But yet Alvin Bragg decides to fabricate this straw man out of another charge. It really isn't a charge. I mean, if this really can happen to anyone. And then you have Hunter Biden that can walk Scott Free away from, you know, phallonious activity with a firearm while he's
Starting point is 01:07:38 coked out with strippers. It's amazing. Yeah. Well, that's what you see in our movie is like this, this is happening to your friends and neighbors, normal people that you go to church with, that you know, your kids go to school with. And it can happen to anyone. They can target anyone because, like you just said, the justice side of it doesn't matter. What matter is, what side are you on? Are you on their side? Are you against them? This, your book, justify this, a career without compromise, which comes out May 28th. And of course, in the sequel to Capital Punishment, Capital Punishment, The Movie.com is the website. That comes out on May 17th. Actually, the movie is now called The War on Truth. The War on Truth.
Starting point is 01:08:23 Yes. Or on Truthmovie.com. War on Truthmovie.com. This, I have not read your book yet. And I always like whenever I have people on, especially somebody like you, I like to support. So I like to buy, you know, the book and maybe buy some to, you know, give to some folks. Tell us a story about you that we have never heard before. Because I feel like I've read a lot about you. And I feel like I've, you know, I could probably, you know, I got some story. But tell me something that nobody knows.
Starting point is 01:08:50 Well, I'm not sure if nobody knows. It's probably little known. But I had to run in with Sean Penn. That was pretty interesting that I go into in the book where I did a couple of things with Sean Penn. I did a movie with him. And we were sort of friends. You know, we were kind of acquaintance.
Starting point is 01:09:05 But at one point, you know, somebody, I guess, told him about my political leanings. And he wrote me a pretty nasty email. And I wrote him back and sort of said, you know, that was kind of nice. I said, you know, I disagree with you, but, you know, I respect you as an actor. I had a great time in the movie with you. And, you know, whatever. And he wrote me back saying, you know, why did you even accept the role, you know, knowing what my politics were? and I don't give a damn about your respect.
Starting point is 01:09:36 And so I kind of, I wound up telling him to congratulations on your Oscar. And, you know, maybe you can take that thing and shove it up your ass. I was getting ready to say, where's that Nick Searcy? Where's that Nick Searcy response? I'm waiting for it. One last thing. I saw that you left California, Camifonia, and you moved to America. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:56 And it looks beautiful where you're at. How much are you loving life right now, not being in Hollywood? It's so nice and it's so different. And the thing I tell people, the most different thing about it is the quality of the people and how nice and helpful they are. I mean, it's, and I think that's because most of the people here where I am are happy. The people in California are so annoyed and so bitter and miserable and overtaxed and, you know, the traffic and everything. It's like, people here are pretty pleasant. They're pretty happy.
Starting point is 01:10:28 Yeah, there you are. Nick Searcy, the book. awesome justify this a career without compromise that is out may 28th and the war on truth the movie as well.com that's may 17th and congratulations as always and thank you for not just the entertainment that you provide but also the advocacy as well and bringing your talent to tell the stories of these people who are persecuted and unheard we're grateful thank you my friend good to talk with you thank you dana have me back read the book and we'll talk about this yes we're We will. We're going to. Thank you. Good to see you, Nick.
Starting point is 01:11:05 It's his life mission to make bad decisions. It's time for Florida Man. All right, I've got to be quick with this one. Florida Man was charged with flushing a ladies' fish down the toilet. Cape Coral. Florida Man is facing several charges, including battery, grand theft, and flushing a woman's fish down the tarlet. According to Cape Coral police, Brett Austin Doll, tattoos all over his face, is facing those charges based on two-sor-one. up investigations. Apparently, he spit on the woman's vehicle, hit her left arm, and apparently grabbed her beta fish and flushed it down the tarlet. And now he's in all kind of trouble. So you can't be doing that to know, can't be stealing no ladies fish and flushing him down
Starting point is 01:11:46 the toilet. Florida man was accused of stealing a mattress from Walmart. That's not really anything easy to conceal. You know, maybe aim lower next time. Kurt Clark with an eye is arrested in charge with grand theft, two kinds of petty theft, drive with, oh, he's had a lot of charges. Third hour on the way, Texas Attorney General Kempaxson joins us at the bottom. Stick with. The world has been here before. People did not take the kind of threats that we saw in the 1930s as seriously as they should, including American journalists. You know, people were taking it face value that, oh, this can be controlled. He may have said some outrageous things, but, you know,
Starting point is 01:12:24 the institutions will hold. A determined demagogue, unfortunately supported. by members of his political party, other enablers, people who care more about a future tax cut than the sanctity of the Constitution are falling in line behind him. Good grief. You just wind her up and she just goes. That's Hillary Clinton, who everybody's Hitler. She's just mad because she lost in 2016, because ain't nobody like her. Ain't nobody like your woman, Bill. Welcome back to the program.
Starting point is 01:13:02 Top of the third hour, Dana Lash with you. You can listen coast to coast. You can stream the radio program. You can catch a simulcast, podcast, everything. We're all up everywhere. Coming up at the bottom of the hour, we got Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. I saw him in New York. I mean, I wasn't in New York.
Starting point is 01:13:18 I saw him on camera in New York. He was up there sitting there. I guess everybody takes turns going up there, right? It's like, you know, they take turns going up. It's like when you, if you ever got in trouble and you had to stay at home and you weren't allowed to go anywhere, if you were a teenager, it definitely wasn't me. I was an angel. And your friends would, like, swing by and, like, hang out with you.
Starting point is 01:13:38 You know what I mean? Because, like, they pitied you. They'd all take turns doing time. Very interesting. But, yeah, he was up there in New York recently. He's back here now, but he went up to show support. Because Trump had backed him throughout his whole, his whole thing. You know, and they went after Paxton in Texas because he was very effective on the border.
Starting point is 01:13:56 They literally had no evidence. and the people that they were trying to bring and bring forth and incriminate PACs. And everybody that they brought forward, they were like, what? That this didn't happen. Like, we have no idea. It didn't matter. They were going after it anyway. So we're going to talk to him coming up at the bottom of the hour.
Starting point is 01:14:12 So why do Democrats keep going? This is going to be our last election. Like, what language is that? Can you imagine Republicans going out there and saying, this could be our last election, guys. You know, I mean, the tyrants there, the fascists. They're like Hitler. and that it's like Hitler. Where does she get off saying something like that too?
Starting point is 01:14:32 When you see the excess and anti-Semitism from the left on college campuses all across the country, right in plain view of your right in front of your face. How does she get off saying stuff like that? Like we, these are your donors, ma'am that are doing all this stuff that are bankrolling. These anti-Semitic trash baby tantrums. These are your donors. Where do you get off saying stuff like this? Well, you know, I mean, it could be the last election.
Starting point is 01:14:57 we ever have because he's like Hitler, you know, just, you know, just like Hitler. Because that's what she's saying. I mean, that's what, wow. And that's, this is like the 1930s and people should take things. What are you talking about? This is the type of language that makes people roll their eyes and shut their ears because it's so dumb. It's just the lowest hanging fruit on this. She's just mad because she's not relevant. She never was able to fundraise. She is not relevant. anymore. You don't see her being invited on cable news or people asking her to write books about her perspective of the current political climate. They're not going to her for anything. She's not being, she's, she's just on these speaking tours where she gets paid six figures of speech and she spews
Starting point is 01:15:45 this type of stuff. That's it. That's it. But you know what? This is the left though. Audio Sound by 12. Check this MSNBC panel because they cannot believe that Americans, by and large, and this is MSNBC reacting to a pretty straight-laced survey where people think that Biden is actually more of a threat to the democratic process, the process of democracy in our republic. Listen to them. They can't write their heads around this. I think interesting in this polling was more independent said that they worry about President Biden weakening democracy than Trump, 53% to 42%. What do you make of this? I find it shocking, honestly. I can't.
Starting point is 01:16:27 I can't, you know, make sense of that number. I wish I could. I wish I could have some really great insight to it. But I don't know if it's an outlier or not because the other numbers with independence and Biden are going in the right direction. So that may be it. But also, just one thing I wanted to add on to what Basil said, you know, this trial's not on TV. They have no idea. They have a great job reporting what's happening.
Starting point is 01:16:50 But if there aren't those images coming out of the courthouse, people feel like they know this story. We kind of, we've heard about it for a long time. time. So it doesn't surprise me. They are shocked. These people are so not plugged in. They are legitimately shocked. They're surprised the media propaganda isn't as effective this time. Yeah. I can't believe they're not believing the trash that we tell them every day. You stupid people, you stupid thinking people. Stop thinking for yourselves and just think what we tell you to think. Can you believe it? I mean, they don't, they see it in front of their faces. I think Mika Brzezinski said it at one time where it's like, that's not, they're not, they're
Starting point is 01:17:27 job. That's our job to tell you what to think. Right. Exactly. Oh, my gosh. Their minds are blown. Their minds are just blown. They just don't understand it. Now, I wanted to look at a couple things here, because speaking of why people think that Biden's, they don't just think that Biden's a threat to the democratic process in our republic. They think he's overall a threat. When you look at the context of economy and national security, et cetera. and listen to this. This is, I saw this from a couple of different places. Redfin did a survey on this, but there was also something in USA Today, or not sorry, not USA Today, Wall Street Journal to this. And I think this, pull this, I think I had this in one of your, one of your prep links in the email that I send out in the morning. So the concept of affordability, right, has, is becoming, what's the word I want to say? Obsolete? Not obsolete. It's not rendered
Starting point is 01:18:33 obsolete by something. It's not rendered such by something, but it's the affordability for anything has gone away right now. Apparently, more than one out of five Americans are skipping meals to afford monthly housing costs. According to this Redfin survey, they say, which of the following changes or sacrifices did you make in the past year to afford your monthly housing costs, including mortgage or rent, insurance, parking, heating, cooling, electricity, or home ownership association. Do you select all that apply.
Starting point is 01:19:09 People either took no or fewer vacations. That was 34, almost 35%. Skipped meals, 22%. Worked additional hours. 20%. 20.7%. Sold my belongings. 20.6%. Borrowed money from friends family, 18%. Dipped into retirement, 18%. Skipped health care or medical treatments, 16%. They have worked side hustles like Uber driver, etc. That was 15. Received financial gift from friends family.
Starting point is 01:19:45 That was at 14%. That's wild. And they looked at about 3,000 U.S. homeowners and renters. And they looked at this in February. They went through 3,000 U.S. homeowners and they focused on the chart that these numbers focused specifically on approximately 1,494 respondents. So out of the 3,000, the people who said that they were cutting, they were making sacrifices to afford their housing costs of those 3,000, these are the 1,494 people who said that they were struggling and this is what they do. Wow.
Starting point is 01:20:22 But hey, it's corporate greed. It's the damn Snickers. It's big Snickers. Big Snickers. Cutting them candy bars and charging you more money. Big supermarket. Can you believe that they're raising prices? They don't need to raise no prices. There is corporate greed. It's all corporate greed. It's all it is. Corporate greed. Man alive. I'm telling you what. That they're skipping meals. You know what? That's just they're just Democrats would say that's just they're just getting their health in check they're fasting that's what Democrats would say they're fasting it's a healthy diet like it's you know it's actually really good right now that they they want to get in shape and they want to be healthy so they're dieting or fasting surprise they don't actually say that that kind of stuff I really am goodness all right so I wanted to talk real quick about this bill that went through the House.
Starting point is 01:21:26 It's not going to go anywhere in the Senate, though. It's not. It's this, let me pull this up. It has to do with the censor, or sorry, the census. And counting actual, you know, Americans as part of the census. And this was House Bill 7109. And this bill was looking at, you know, specifically making sure that you are, I can't believe you have to make a piece of legislation
Starting point is 01:21:59 about this. Are you here legally? Because if you're here legally, then you, we're going to count you. But now we're counting like everybody. I mean, and that's something that's been going on for a long time. I was talking to Lorraine about this in Slack. And she brought up how you used to be able to check, you would have to check things in the census. And they would ask if you're a citizen and where your parents are from things like that now they don't anymore apparently you're not supposed to ask those things because it's not about making sure that citizens are represented every time dick and hair that comes in the country who doesn't pay into the system can now get that representation that people who paid in the system this entire time and follow the law get which seems drastically unfair you know if you're
Starting point is 01:22:41 asking me that seems unfair right but that's how they're working this that's how it's that's how it's going so i um that's wow that this is even a fight nothing like that nothing to protect this would ever go anywhere in the senate because we don't have the we don't have the numbers in the senate we got to we have to win more seats we're we're going to have to prevail in november and i'm not to be like a debby downer but i don't know i got my my issues i i got my questions about that and then a couple of other things i want to make sure that we're getting into as well that we're covering uh stock market recession. This is a headline that I had that went along with the economy. Tens of millions of
Starting point is 01:23:24 household savings and retirement nestsags are in jeopardy. Investment experts are warning of rare market scenarios that only occurred three times in more than 100 years. It was this financial influencer and some of these economic experts. They're saying, look at the rising bond yield curve. It's been inverted for 500 days. That's rarely occurred historically. And they're saying that that is, that's like intimating that there could be a looming stock market plunge. some 50% that's what they're saying and then they said they're pointing to the yield curve since july 2020 i actually had to look into that because i'm like i what does this mean what we've never yeah it's apparently a very rare thing to happen um and it's only happened three times in the past century
Starting point is 01:24:07 1929 1974 and 2009 and what happens when that happened the market fell more than 50% every time it took a tumble just in 2020 but of course covid and all that stuff hit in real estate. Yeah, huge hit. Well, and it looks like we're going to get that as well. So these are all, ooh, that's like, I'm telling you it, that's some scary stuff. That's why you need to have your Goldco, right? Diversify.
Starting point is 01:24:33 Protect with gold and silver. And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five. So I guess even like the jet ridges are falling apart. Like, what in the world? This is, um, in San Francisco, their
Starting point is 01:24:49 jet bridge just straight up collapsed on a plane. That seems a little gosh dang. Collapse, it just collapsed on a plane. You know, the jet bridge that boards you onto the aircraft. They said that the boarding bridge at their international airport and a plane
Starting point is 01:25:04 with their out of commission because the metal struts on the bridge just failed. Right as a flight from Hawaii arrived at the gate. It experienced structural failure. There were no injuries, but everything's falling apart. It feels like dumb and dumber. Our pets' heads
Starting point is 01:25:20 are falling off. Just bad. Everything's bad. A wild turkey was spotted strutting around Manhattan after an epic journey. There are some jokes to be had here. There's some serious jokes to be had. They said that this and it was strutton. It's stuff. It's a rare wild turkey
Starting point is 01:25:37 spotted in Manhattan on Wednesday, dodging traffic, roosting in a tree after making an epic journey across the East River from Queens. This turkey's crazy. It spent literally all day forging for food near 49th in Madison, and onlookers were delighted. And I guess, well, how much you went bet that they were trying to feed and pet it and catch it?
Starting point is 01:25:59 And they're like, yeah, it's very clearly, this birding account on X said, yes, it's uncommon. Well, duh, that's why everyone's freaking out. But apparently it was a healthy turkey, and they said it's not going to be easy to catch this one. I think they finally did. Saw she made it three miles across the East River, because they can only fly for a very short distance. I don't know, did it walk across the bridge? Did it fly? I don't know how it were, but they got it.
Starting point is 01:26:23 And they can survive in some green spaces. I mean, they can get insects and acorns and, you know, I mean, the rats get pizza there. So, I mean, I'm sure there's no shortage of food for the wild turkeys. I'm just saying. A rare cello worth about $250,000 stolen in Seattle. I just want to get this headline because it's Kane's favorite word. Apparently April was the moistest on record. Cane goes, they couldn't go with most humid.
Starting point is 01:26:50 They had to go with moistest. The moistest to ever do it. Most rainfall in humidity. Something. Yeah. Well, it was a moist April. Moistest, cane. There you go.
Starting point is 01:27:04 A mother facing a DUI charge after she backed into her seven-year-old son in the baseball field parking lot. In Delaware. I almost made a joke about the Bidens. A Delaware County mother is facing a DUI charge. She hit her seven-year-old kid. She was moving her vehicle in a baseball field parking lot. And they said the 41-year-old was arrested. She's facing charges, including DUI, blah, blah,
Starting point is 01:27:27 endangering the welfare of kids. She was trying to move her vehicle to another part of the parking lot, or to another part of the parking lot. She just worried over her kid. She said she didn't realize he wasn't in the car. He got injuries to his ankle, and that's about it. But still, she was taken into custody. Don't get drunk at the ball fields and run over your kid.
Starting point is 01:27:40 That's like, you know, Texas AG can packs it next. Elevate your commute, workouts, or downtime with the Dana Show podcast. Unleash the power of knowledge at your fingertips by following Dana on Apple, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. I can tell you from my travels eight months now, nine states now, he has to be careful with that. And he says he's right. When he cites the statistics, he is right. When he says the Michigan Consumer Confidence Survey, 65% say they're doing better up.
Starting point is 01:28:10 Guess what? The 35% who don't? A lot of those are his voters. They should be his voters. When you travel the cost of living, in Michigan, with those younger voters, we also starting put together a group of auto workers. Their union has endorsed Biden. Most of them are going to vote for Biden, but you ask them what's life is like and they can't buy a bigger house because of mortgage rates. They still, when you talk about grocery prices. And so the
Starting point is 01:28:31 president has to be careful here. That sounds like somebody in Washington telling people you're wrong and whatever your party is, voters don't process it that way. They don't like that. Yeah, they don't like being told that what they're experiencing isn't what they're actually experiencing, that it's not their reality. That was on CNN. That's John King talking about that. welcome back to the program, Dana Lash here with you. They're also upset when you tell them for things like, you know, not just that there's no inflation, but there's no issue at the border. There's no crisis.
Starting point is 01:28:57 The administration hasn't even touched on that. They haven't even looked at it. Now, did you all hear, though, about the story with the NGOs? We talked about a little bit about this. This, this, I mean, systemic criminal assistance that they have with regards to the southern border and helping to funnel people. across the border. Well, in Texas, the Attorney General Ken Paxton released a statement. He is seeking the injunction halting these border NGOs, their systematic criminal conduct in Texas.
Starting point is 01:29:31 And apparently they got sworn testimony talking about how, I mean, really incriminating these NGOs and their operations and they're facilitating the deluge of illegal crossings across the southern border. the Attorney General of Texas, Ken Paxson joins us now via the telephone. And it's good to have you, Attorney General. Thank you so much for joining us. Tell us about this because you announced this just yesterday. Because there are all of these, you know, little contractors that have really been encouraging and helping to facilitate this for some time.
Starting point is 01:30:08 And the federal government's not going to, I mean, they reward them. They're not going to take any action on this. Tell us about this injunction. Well, Dana, thanks for having back. Look, it was interesting. All we did was announced. our investigation, which we investigate nonprofits all the time just to make sure that there's no fraud, there's no, there's, they're following state laws. It's our, it's our, it's our, it's our,
Starting point is 01:30:27 it's our role. It's one of our roles under under the law. And so all we did was try to ask them questions first. And they sued us to try to stop us in front of a liberal judge in El Paso, to try to stop us from asking them questions. And I have never been punched back faster and harder by a bunch of politicians. So we knew we'd touch the nerve because it was a bunch of like the mayor, congressman down there. All the local officials came out immediately in a press conference called me that I was discriminating against Catholic religion and blah, blah, blah. And I'm like, wow, this must be a deal. If they reacted like that, I mean, I have never seen a reaction that hard and that fast with anything I've ever done. So when we, we asked the injunction, because now we
Starting point is 01:31:13 we have enough information, despite the fact that they have tried to block us from getting it. And this judge has tried to block us from getting it. We have enough information. We believe there are actually, they are actually aiding, abetting, criminal activity, human trafficking, drug trafficking. And the Biden administration funds these organizations. They don't, a lot of times they don't do it directly. They just send the money to them.
Starting point is 01:31:34 And then they let the NGOs do the illegal activity. Yeah, this is, I've seen this firsthand. I, when I've been down on the border before, and I went to look at one of these, I guess it was like a processing facility. It was Catholic Charities down there. And the lady running, it was very, very far left. And we kind of were debating a little bit. But I mean, very much helping that facilitation of that. Why would they care if we just, let me look, we're just asking questions. Yeah, what's wrong with asking questions. We ask a few questions. This is what we do in Texas. We're, we have a, they, they get public, I mean, they get money from. individuals that are contributing to their charity. And so there's got to be some oversight to make
Starting point is 01:32:16 sure there's not fraud involved, or as in this case, illegal activity. So if they weren't not afraid of anything, they would have answered our questions. We would be moving on right now. Nope, that's not what we're doing. They suit us. So we're in litigation because they chose to be in litigation because they chose not to answer the questions that we reasonably asked. That's wild, that they would go to that extent. Well, they probably, it seems like they feel like they're protected from the federal government. Well, they think they're protected from the federal government, and they follow the judge they thought would protect them, what she did immediately.
Starting point is 01:32:47 And he also basically accused me of being anti-religious because I dared to ask a Catholic nonprofit a question. Right. That's, yeah, I mean, and it's a perfectly reasonable, legitimate question with this. We're talking with Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who is seeking an injunction halting these border NGOs with this conduct in Texas because this has been an ongoing fight. And you and I, we've talked about this a number of times over the years. This administration's making it so incredibly difficult for you to do your job for Texas to secure its borders. We're seeing more and more people
Starting point is 01:33:24 crossing. I mean, it's, I mean, it's all for, you know, it's all for a purpose. I know that they've also been coming after the governor's office and yourself because of the, how do I put it, like the relocation of these people coming in, sending them to places that have advertised themselves as sanctuary cities, which seems perfectly reasonable, General, to do this, especially, you know, these, this is what, you know, places like Chicago and New York and Martha's Vineyard have advertised themselves as being sanctuary cities. But why is it, Attorney General, why is it that when Biden does it, when Biden sticks, and he's done this before, illegal aliens on planes and takes them elsewhere, it's acceptable. But if the Texas governor does it, if Texas does it, it's not.
Starting point is 01:34:11 You know, I'm probably the wrong person. I asked that question, but I will say this. It is interesting. He said they haven't helped us. It's not even just that they're not helping us. They are on the other side. They are actually helping the cartels get people here. And they started on day one when Biden announced that he was not deporting anybody, which is obviously a violation of federal law and the Constitution. And he has been doing everything possible. And I used to think that they were trying to get people here that someday these people would be able to vote. They'll get amnesty. They'll their kids will vote, whatever.
Starting point is 01:34:43 No, they're trying, I think they're here to vote now. I think they're moving them around the states that they need votes in, Texas, Florida, and other Republican states. And I think they're given out Social Security numbers of these people and letting them then register. But they get driver's license and they register to vote. So most states do not have laws that prevent. non-citizens from voting. They just don't, it has never been really contemplated, but we've got an administration that's trying to do a workaround because they don't view the mail-in ballot scheme as big enough this time, so they're going to try to have some of these people vote illegally. That's my
Starting point is 01:35:17 impression of where we're at. Wow. We're talking to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxson. You also announced the arrest of an individual. It was a Medicaid fraud control unit. You put out a statement about a half hour ago, the takedown of an illegal alien-alien-smuggling operation that was posing as a health care provider and a Medicaid fraud control unit was I mean this is what they were this is what they were investigating so this is coming from like every angle yeah and it's it's what's amazing is I think it's hard for people to fathom this it's not like it's just the cartels trying to infiltrate our country yes they're doing that but they're getting help like they're being told not not in like you know writing but they're being told by actions hey get your
Starting point is 01:36:03 organization built into this country, move people in here, make your money on, you know, human smuggling, trafficking of drugs, whatever. We don't really can just get people here, and we'll move them around once you get in here, we'll take the hand off. You don't have to hide from us. We're on your side. And it's, I think it's hard for the American people to understand that. This administration is that bent on helping the cartels because they feel, this administration feels like they get a benefit of more Democratic voters. And they're willing to trade all the costs and all the people dying and the kids taking fentanyl and dying for this extra vote. Speaking of the kids, you've also, you had some words for what the city of Austin did, declaring
Starting point is 01:36:47 itself a sanctuary city for gender affirming care. Now, this in the face of established Texas law now. I mean, from what I understand, and correct me if I'm wrong on this, this is kind of performative of what they did. But they declared that they were approving this resolution, declining enforcement of the state's laws banning physicians from providing gender, gender affirming surgeries and medications to minors. It was the first sitting in the state to do so. This doesn't seem to have any kind of any really substantive standing because I mean, this isn't a violation of existing law.
Starting point is 01:37:21 Correct? Yeah. So they're playing a game. They know that it's illegal to do what they're doing. So they would normally pass ordinances funding this stuff and doing the opposite what state law says. if they wanted to just blatantly write up in our face by the law, which makes us easier to sue them. So instead, they passed a resolution directing the very same thing.
Starting point is 01:37:43 So it was an indirect way of actually accomplishing the same thing, which is, hey, we're not going to follow state law, and there's nothing you can do to stop us, and we're going to use subterfugees to get around it. One of my favorite things changing gears here that I think that you're involved in as of late is this, you're leading this multi-state co-state co-eastern. abolition and suing the ATF over this insane ban on legal private firearms sales. You're joined with Louisiana, Missouri, and Utah going after the ATF. Because the ATF, these restrictions that they are trying to leverage or levy over people, this is, it's ATF making law in place of Congress, these edicts where people, innocent people are treated like felons. Tell us about this. What do you, what realistically can be accomplished with this because until the House essentially defunds the ATF or somebody takes the grand action of,
Starting point is 01:38:37 you know, just abolishing them outright, I fear that we're going to have to be putting up with these little tyrannical edicts that they put out in place of law. We're not going to put up with it. And the reason we're not going to put up with it is completely outside of what federal law directs them to do. And it's actually, it's in contradiction to what Congress said. So they're not Congress. They don't have the right to make laws that are in contradiction to what Congress said.
Starting point is 01:39:01 in Congress specifically exempted individual gun sales and made it very clear that the ATF was not to stop those. Well, now the ATF is criminalizing it and weaponizing the ATF against just individual people that want to sell guns to each other. That we will not allow, that is a violation of the Second Amendment. And this, again, as administration, not only is destroying our country with illegal immigration, they are trying to eliminate the constitutional amendments that give us our freedoms from the First Amendment to the Second Amendment to the Second Amendment, to the to the Fourth Amendment. Yeah, for people who don't know, we've talked about this before, the ATF is trying to
Starting point is 01:39:38 change what the definition of a dealer is. So basically anybody, they want everybody to become a dealer. It's like a backdoor registry, I feel like. They want everyone to have to become a federal firearms licensee because having that FFL means the ATF gets to take inventory of what you do. They get to make, you know, at least once of your visits to your premises, look around, poke around, see what you got. That seems like this is like the start of a way to get around.
Starting point is 01:40:01 prohibition of creating a federal registry. Do you think that that's an accurate assessment? That's an accurate assessment. Their ultimate goal is to know where every gun is, to control every gun. And if you'll remember, the founders didn't create the Second Amendment necessarily for self-defense in and of itself. They created it because they did not trust the federal government because they were worried that someday it might become tyrannical or abusive. And they wanted individuals to defend themselves against the government. And so here we are. We have governments all the world that don't allow individuals that have guns. And we're different. We have a constitution that not just allows, it demands that this is an inalienable right that we have to protect ourselves from our government.
Starting point is 01:40:43 And now we've got a government that says, no, no, no, no, we're going to know all about you. And eventually, we're going to be in all your business. We're going to know what you have, and we're going to take it from you. Yeah. Well, we're glad that you're leading the fight on this. Attorney General Ken Paxton, I think one of the most, one of the most successful attorney generals out there been leading the fight. And of course, that's why they want to target you so much. And they keep walking away, hands slap with nothing because they keep, they, they don't got nothing. They can't get mad at you for representing the people. But we're happy that you're doing such a good job at it. Thank you so much for joining us. Well, thank you. The only reason I'm still here is by the grace of
Starting point is 01:41:16 God and also the great people of Texas that understand what's going on. There you go. Right there. Attorney General Kim Paxton. Thank you so much, sir. Thank you. because knowledge is your ultimate superpower. How seriously do you take that threat? Seriously, just like I did in September 7th, I mean, on January 6th, the guy who's not a Democrat with a small D. I mean, he is, uh. What?
Starting point is 01:41:47 The idea, look, you can only love your country when you win, number one. What did I just hear? It's, I don't. I mean, I'm looking at the transcript and I don't understand it. No. He's a, what? Does he mean like in terms of capitalization, Kaine? Yeah, he could have said lowercase D, but he didn't.
Starting point is 01:42:19 That's disgusting. That's really gross. I'm not sure he even knew what trade of thought he was on because he noticed right afterwards. He's like, look, you know, here's the thing. And then he goes on to say nothing. he just cannot keep a consistent train of thought in his mind at all. His interview with CNN was disastrous. It was so bad.
Starting point is 01:42:46 And I, look, I don't know. It was bad. It was just bad. And it's being roundly criticized. He's the, I mean, even by Democrats. But it's too late. You're stuck with him now, kids. You're stuck with him now.
Starting point is 01:42:59 Good heavens. So do I need to give you your today's stupid idea? No, I mean, we've got about 20 seconds. I was confused for a minute because I'm like, look, I'm like trying to follow my clock and everything. Yeah, it's, it's, you know. Don't forget we have the strongest economy in the world. And it's big Snickers. That's to blame for the reason why people can't pay their bills, inflation, why the housing market is not doing too great right now.
Starting point is 01:43:27 Why people are going broke, why Gen Z can't get a house. And they can't. It's because of big Snickers. That's right. And big supermarket. You know, everything is big. It's a conspiracy that has nothing to do with his economic policies at all whatsoever. They did not contribute to any of this. Everything that you mentioned, they're blamed for a bad economy, but he says, we got the strongest economy in the world. The codest to ever do it. All right, today and Steve Pidity game. Believe it or not, Biden made the cut here. So surprised. This is cut 7-1. This is Biden. Having a hard time reading that teleprompter, but listen to what he reads. My theology professor at the Catholic school I went to
Starting point is 01:44:07 What's his name? Was a guy named Riley last name. Oh. And he had been drafted by the Green Bay Packers. Riley last name. Hoof. Yeah, that's Mr. and Mrs. Last Name son. Memorable professor.
Starting point is 01:44:20 Yeah, I think it's an old Celtic name. So it's Biden Zero teleprompter 647. Yes. That's where we're at. Yeah. Biden versus teleprompter. He's never, battle he's never going to win. Have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend.
Starting point is 01:44:36 I will be off air tomorrow, but back on air with you on Monday. God bless. Thank you, Mamas.
