Starting point is 00:00:00 I have to listen to her in the right way. She actually has learned a really effective way of speaking smoothly. She does these triplets, and she'll say the ambitions, the hopes, and the aspirations of the American people. Those three things are really all the same. The reason she did it is not because she's stuttering. It's because that is her way of not saying um. She's avoiding saying um or hesitating. She wanted to say aspirations, and then she'll give the synonyms as she waits.
Starting point is 00:00:27 That's a form of being articulate, or if you watched her last night, then you could see that what she was really doing, was she wanted to do two things. She wanted to talk about economic policy. She had a list in her head, and she wanted to keep saying, you got the feeling she had been told and she agreed that we can't look backwards. Anything else that Bash said to her, her thought was, how can I bring it back to that? And that meant that you couldn't listen to her like she was trying to write an article or something like that. What you say isn't always what you mean. She speaks ritualistically like a politician. If somebody asks you, do you have the time?
Starting point is 00:01:02 Your answer is not, I do. Do you have the time? Yes, it's 4 o'clock. You have to understand that words don't always mean what they mean. I don't know what the hell I'm hearing here. Can we just please, dear God, let the sweet meteor of death come and knock us worthless meat sacks off this God-forsaken rock? I say this not as a joke. I really pray for the world's end. This is the stuff that we, this is the analysis. This is the, well, we're, I mean, words don't necessarily mean what they mean. I lived through this already with what was it is. What does his mean? We live through this already with Bill Clinton. And I just don't feel like doing it again with this Godforsaken news cycle. I don't feel like doing it again with this insane candidate because, I mean, either.
Starting point is 00:01:52 take responsibility for your words or just, you know, don't do it. Don't run for office. It's not very difficult. Welcome to the program. Dana Lash with you. I'm just going to get you set up for this week for the for the show here. The stuff that we have happening because it's, you know, we're, I mean, days out from early voting. I think North Carolina, I think is the first state that does early voting. And then after that, you have a handful of these other states that are going in. And I mean, we got some polling to go into and some of the other stuff to touch on as it pertains to enthusiasm. What else? We've got a few other things.
Starting point is 00:02:36 The bottom line is that Republicans need to kind of get it together. We have no time for distractions. I have no time for anyone's NFTs, dumbass shoes, or anything else. Sell policy. That's what we want. We want policy. and I'm going to tell you I'm going to have some harsh words for voters coming up and I know that's going to probably be mean and you're not supposed to ever talk about that kind of stuff and you're not supposed to you're supposed to treat voters like they're babies right that's what you're supposed to do you're supposed to treat I don't I don't
Starting point is 00:03:05 I'm not a politician so I don't have to I don't have to care about votes I can I can be honest about stuff but over the weekend I've had so many conversations with people and just different events in that where I mean people a lot of these politicians feel like they've got to babysit voters. And I think some of the voters out there, even some of the ones on the right, are acting like they also have to be babysat. So we're going to talk a little bit about this
Starting point is 00:03:31 because I was just a little shocked about like the outreach and some of the other stuff and having some conversations over the weekend. So I hope everyone had a nice extended weekend. I'll talk a little bit about my thoughts on Labor Day. I think it's kind of ridiculous that we have an entire observance for less than 20% of the American workforce. But I disagree.
Starting point is 00:03:49 I don't get into communist stuff and I don't care if people are upset by it. I just don't. I have to sit here and talk about Kamala Harris today, you know, for the love. And that's like the last thing that I want to do because I'm done with this woman. I've never been more done with a candidate in my entire career than I am with her. You guys do not understand. I don't like her and I have a hard time with female politicians anyway because I expect all of them to be like Margaret Thatcher, no nonsense.
Starting point is 00:04:19 and they're not. And I just, I have a problem with her because I feel like she is an overwhelming candidate. She's a candidate who can't speak. She's a candidate who's being fast-tracked because she is the only one there. The other ones aren't ready yet. They, Democrats messed up when they decided to go with Joe Biden. They ended up messing themselves up, going with Biden. And now they're in this position with Kamala Harris. And so I, not, not a fan, not a fan, just saying. All right, let's get in. to it. The accent. Which do you want to hear first?
Starting point is 00:04:56 The regular? I don't know. Go ahead. Kill me. Go ahead. Do it. This is her. This is over the weekend. So that's her regular. First off, no. If you like, let's get real, real, real. Technically, Philip the second of Spain back in the old year of 1594 created the eight-hour work day.
Starting point is 00:05:32 And if you like a five-day work week, thank a billionaire. Thank Henry Ford, who created it, not because he was forced to by his government or for any kind of communist tactic, just because he simply wanted to compete and steal workers, poach workers from his competitors. And so he did what he could to hire the best workers. And he ended up bringing in, so he did that the five-day work week. So it was actually, and that wasn't because government compelled him to. And there were people who tried to organize before that. but they were entirely unsuccessful and it had absolutely zero impact.
Starting point is 00:06:07 And the only impact that actually was taken was when they finally, finally, when Henry Ford did it. And this was, that was what in 1926, 2226. So that's when he did it. So he combined the eight hour work day with the five day work week and
Starting point is 00:06:23 lowered his lord workers from competitors. It wasn't unions that did that. People can get mad at me all they want to. The drive by is pound all the sand. Nobody cares. It was Henry Ford. mad, choke on history, choke to death, I don't care. It was Henry Ford who did it. Henry Ford
Starting point is 00:06:36 created it. I don't know. Henry Ford, I think, was kind of a jack wagon personally, wasn't he? Didn't he have some baggage? He had a little baggage from what I read. But he was the one who created the five-day work week. It wasn't union. So I'm not going to get in here with this Marxist fairy tale and blow smoke. This is what gets me with Democrats and voters. Democrats
Starting point is 00:06:52 go out there and they will drop trow and defecate on the working man every other day of the week. But when it's a campaign season, by God, they've got to go out there and they're going to abuse all this populist rhetoric. sidebar. Populism is not a belief set. Dear God, can we please correct this in the conservative language? Populism is a tactic. It is not a belief set. It is a way of messaging. It is a way of speaking. It is a way of narrative. It is not a belief set. You are not a populist unless you
Starting point is 00:07:20 use the tactic. It is not describe your belief set in limited government, et cetera. It's how you talk about limited government. That aside, they go out there. They defecate on the working man every other day of the week, right? And then it's campaign season. Oh, my gosh, we're going to go out there and we're going to talk a really big game about the working man. We're going to talk, oh, yeah, workers. We love you workers. I mean, keep in mind, we're going to tax you to death. We're going to tax the food right out of your family's mouths. We're going to tax the roof right off of your house. We're going to tax you right out of your dwelling. We're going to tax you right out of your job. We're going to do all of this. But yeah, we love the working man. They trot this messaging out just to make, for optics, just to give them this
Starting point is 00:08:00 that they're somehow for working class people when we know that they're not. Now, they've been battling with Republicans over this populist messaging, with populist messaging over blue collar. So Pennsylvania is an area where they've been battling. A couple others in the Rust Belt. Democrats were going after what they said were Trump's union record and battleground state. Who chased away the jobs?
Starting point is 00:08:24 That's a question. Who chased away the jobs? Who made it impossible for people to start manufacturing and accepting? ban manufacturing in the United States. Who was it that did that? Exactly. It wasn't, I mean, I dare say, I don't care if you like Trump or hate him. It wasn't him. It was Democrats. Democrats have been doing this forever because they feel like they've got to, they don't understand that punishing people that they are jealous of in terms of capital punishes the people for whom they create capital with. And so this was this whole weekend. I don't know. She had an abhorrent response to
Starting point is 00:08:59 because it came out over the weekend. The more hostages held by by Hamas and Gaza were killed. And this, she was asked about this. She had a really bad, she just had a bad audio sound, or a bad response to this. And I think it goes into her
Starting point is 00:09:20 complete lack of wherewithal. She had this, she tweeted, quote, POTUS and I met with U.S. hostage deal negotiation team. The murder of Hirsch Goldberg, Poland, and five other hostages, was a brutal barbaric act by Hamas terrorists. As POTUS said, Hamas leaders will pay for these crimes. Then she added, it's long past time for a ceasefire and hostage deal. We need to bring the hostages home and in the suffering in Gaza.
Starting point is 00:09:47 What do you mean you need to ceasefire? So you want more hostages to die. Whenever I hear people say ceasefire, what you're saying is you want Hamas to kill more people. Why don't you go over there and be one of Hamas's brides at this point, all these apologists? I mean, really, just go ahead. head and you're nothing but a rhetorical mattress for these people. Go go go over there. Go over there and prostitute for terrorists. Anybody calling for a ceasefire now is a prostitute for Hamas. There's no other way to put it. That's what's prolonged this thing as long as it is.
Starting point is 00:10:16 Bring the hostages home and in the suffering in Gaza. Well, what do you need to do to do that? Just let Israel annihilate Hamas. Just let him do it. Let him do it and get it done. You'd have these people back home by now. That's the quickest way to end suffering. Just an absolute, these negotiations, I mean, this is just appeasement to Hamas. Having a ceasefire is nothing more than capitulation in the face of terror. What a just a tone-deaf statement that she had come out with. Just asinine. And while all this is happening, while these terrorists were being, while these terrorists were holding these hostages and while these hostages were being killed, I think Biden was on the beach, pretty sure. Wouldn't he still vacationing on the beach?
Starting point is 00:11:00 believe so still vacationing on the beach and so the response here she just had a bad weekend this is why they don't this is why they don't let her out near the press it's why they make her walk out with headphones her latest her latest thing she was walking out with earbuds and wired earbuds and then she held her phone up to her had to talk into the phone but she had wired earbuds in and i don't it was weird it's like that i don't she's like walking out clearly i mean we all know that she's got on this She's going to put these in. She puts their head front. She doesn't want to talk to the press, and so she wants to act like she's on the phone. Everybody knows that when you're getting on a jeep bridge, even a jet bridge, it's not a private plane like this, and you're not out in the wind, and you're not going up, you know, the steps to it. Everybody knows that it's loud. You're not going to be able to hear anybody anyway. Stop acting like you're taking a phone call. Stop. That's so stupid. That's like that. What is it? That's like what basketball players do. And they go in and they listen to the music that pumps them up as they're arriving on on court. Or when when celebrities are trying to avoid pop.
Starting point is 00:12:00 Aparizi. Coming up, we've got her other accent. We're going to talk about her foghorn leghorn routine. We've got some law and order as well. This happens all the time.
Starting point is 00:13:40 There was a leak that came out. It's been reported. They said 404 media says that documents were leaked, blah, blah, blah. It says that the so-called active listening software uses AI to capture real-time intent data by listening to our conversations. Not a surprise. Let's see this. I don't understand why people are like this. Louisville, Metro Police.
Starting point is 00:14:05 They're looking for a dude who has defecated on the same porch multiple times over the past week on their door, their porch camera for no reason. Police confirmed with WAVE News that they've received three police reports about this alleged perpetrator. Maybe just, I don't know, I think I'd throw up in the, I think I'd try Joe Biden maneuver at that point. The only time it's safe to kick open your door with a shotgun. Just saying, it's kind of weird. They're like, well, he's not violent or trying to do force entry. I think that's bioterrorism. So I would classify that as violent, yes.
Starting point is 00:14:36 That's I get, when you're on my property, the fun thing about that is I get to classify your intent. That's a consequence of trespassing on my property. If you don't want me to misclassify your intent, don't trespass on my property. The end, super easy. Monkey pock pandemic, monkey pox pandemic, because they say there are fears of this thousands infected with the disease in just one Brazilian city. Stop having sex with dudes, dudes with dudes, indiscriminately, and maybe you won't have this problem. I know it's not PC to say. I know we're supposed to pretend like we're morons and we don't know where it comes from,
Starting point is 00:15:11 but that's where it comes from. Stop acting like it's universally applied to all of the humans in our species because it's not. Carnivore, it may not be for everyone. It is. Doctors say this trendy diet could lead to heart issues in dementia. Stupid doctors could also. lead to heart issues and dementia. That's another fun study. You know that? They just don't want you to eat red meat and they want to scare you with this medical fearborne. That's all it is.
Starting point is 00:15:36 And it's this stupid podcast that I'm not going to promote by mentioning it. But some guy was saying, oh, carnivores with your diet can contribute to overall systemic inflammation, et cetera, et cetera. Interestingly, because my nutritionist and my endocrinologist and my doctor said the absolute opposite. Huh. One of them is one of the most, is one of the least. meeting medical professionals in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. So, and he just doesn't, he doesn't have enough time because his practice is so successful that he doesn't have time for podcasts.
Starting point is 00:16:05 Just saying. Americans are moving at the lowest rate in decades, according to the Census Bureau. I don't know if I believe this. Well, they just measured this for 2022. They said fewer than 9% of Americans moved in 2022. It was nearly 20% in the 1960s. They're blaming a collision of several factors, including COVID. And I think.
Starting point is 00:16:25 they're all leaving blue states for red states. I don't think that they're, I don't think that this is being judged adequately. Coming up, Harris and the Left versus Gold Star families. And we got to talk about foghorn leghorn. Got to talk about that as well. Stick with us. Hi, I'm Matthew, a theater major at Hillsdale College. Here's Hillsdale President, Dr. Larry Arne, with a Constitution minute. The great Abraham Lincoln described the Constitution as a picture or frame of silver, built the guard or protect an apple of gold. This apple of gold was the Declaration of Independence and its principle of equal rights for all. This principle of equal rights, Lincoln said, clears the path for all, gives hope to all, and by consequence, enterprise and industry to all. There are many today
Starting point is 00:17:13 who seek to limit or distort this great principle by employing a distorted definition of equality and equality of condition or outcome, regardless how people live their lives. This distortion, if generally accepted, will lead to an America less prosperous and less free. To learn more and get a free pocket constitution, visit constitutionminute.com. This Constitution Minute was furnished by Hillsdale College. The Dana Show podcast, your fast, funny, and informative news companion for those always on the move. Starting point is 00:17:51 You better thank a union member. Eve, you better thank a union member for paid leave. Member for vacation time. Foghorn, leghorn. Foghorn, leghorn. I want to, first off, do you know, what accent was that from Kamala Harris? What accent even was that?
Starting point is 00:18:31 So she's like, union member? Can I just hear her, I'm sorry, Juan, can I just hear her say that one part? How does she say it? I'm trying to get the enunciations. down. It's very foghorn leghornish. What accent is that? It is very fogghorn leghorn. Listen here. Say here.
Starting point is 00:19:04 It's very much like that. The same words from her, though, just in a different audience sounds. Yeah, but she's, okay, well, you know the issue here. She's, she's pandering. It's, you know, very, very simple. Welcome. Welcome back. everybody to the program Dana Lash with you your lovable cremugin bottom of this first hour I want to I want to try to every now and then I do this explainer about vocal
Starting point is 00:19:41 presentation when you're a politician and I'm I'm I'm going to get into it but just a so you probably notice my voice has been a lot lower and I've it's cracked and all this stuff lately I was a little afraid that I had nodules on my vocal cords and I was a little freaked out about it so Friday when we were all off went got scoped and all this good news is don't have anything like that on my vocal cords. The bad news is they were, quote, immensely swollen. And it's due to some sort of environmental allergy. We've got to figure it out.
Starting point is 00:20:13 And they put me on a lot of roids to try to get, because it's been like this for months to get that down. And I was told that when I don't have to speak, I'm not supposed to. Yeah, hi. You met me. I'm not like going to carry around the little board, like a, you know, an old pioneer character and write stuff on my little board and show it. I'm not going to do that. So anyway, I say this because I don't know, the reason I bring this up, not just to share it with you, because some of you've written and said, you sound hoarse or, you know, we can tell something's different. But because I may not be able to as bombastically do an explainer on what I think she's trying to do here first without informing you of that. So the, as one says,
Starting point is 00:21:01 may have to get Dana one of the wick buttons i'll explain that later thanks mawn so great one gonna have to i'm just gonna have to get i'm gonna have to get those buttons no don't like no so we're gonna have to do i did i went in it because i was terrified that i had like nodules on my vocal cords i could not explain what was going on i wasn't sick i had nothing you know it was nothing like that but it was you know demonstrably different and a lot of you had written and and said oh i hope you're feeling okay you sound sick and my voice cracked and and couldn't sing in church. And it was just real rough.
Starting point is 00:21:33 And so went in. And so I've been on these roids and I got to go back in a week and do all this stuff. But anyway, long story short, they said they were immensely swollen. And that's why it was, you know, and I'm forcing a lot of air through them to make it work. So we'll see. I can still tell a difference. But we'll see. Anyway, my whole point in bringing that up, like I said, is I feel like she's trying to do.
Starting point is 00:21:58 And I've talked about this for a decade. what I call Southern Baptist preacher speaking technique. Now, I say this as someone who's raised Southern Baptist, so I can say that, and I don't bat an eye at me, because I ain't going to have it. You all know that's what she's doing, right? It's called the Southern Baptist preacher speaking technique. And it doesn't matter what ideology of politician you are. It doesn't matter if you're black or white, if you are man, or if you are a woman. it is a technique that predominantly Democrats use whenever they're speaking to large groups of people and they need some populism. They need to make it populism-y. So they start doing this. And I've told people before how you can read the ingredients off of a, you know, box of macaroni and cheese and you can make it an authoritative. They do this kind of stuff to make them seem like they're one of the people to give it a revival flair and to get everybody amped up over what they don't know. They just know that someone's accents changed and, whoa, they're very excited about this.
Starting point is 00:23:12 And it's very simple, right? I feel like I ought to do one of our live reads in the Southern Baptist preacher speaking technique, you know, almost just as a, I don't know who, I don't know who it would be, but just, you know, as a way to sort of further illustrate. But what I'll do? What do I got here? What do I got? I got something. Do I got something? I got a Kleenex box. I got a Kleenex box here, right? I can, well, there's not a lot to read on it. Well, damn, what do we got? What can I read? I don't want to read that. That's a, I don't know what that is.
Starting point is 00:23:45 Should have thought about this. Give me something bland and basic to read. Is that like an aspirin bottle? Zinc. Yeah, just go ahead. I'm careful in front of the care. Just go ahead and hand it. There you go. Thank you, Kay. Thank you. So what old do you have over there? I've got healthy supplements. Kane has an entire CVS replete with receipts over at his death. 10, 12% of a CVS.
Starting point is 00:24:09 He just handed me, he's got another big box. I see a giant bottle of fiber over there. You just read that like you're supposed to? Okay, sorry. So why is it, why is the, why are the letters so little? So the Southern Baptist preacher speaking technique. Again, predominantly Democrats,
Starting point is 00:24:27 but it's a vocal affectation whenever they want to sound authoritative and they're trying to connect with people and they're trying to give it this revival type air. So we're going to demonstrate the Southern Baptist Preacher Speaking Technique. And again, I was raised that way. I can do this with this essential zinc. Now remember, it's very important to have peaks and valleys whenever you're doing the Southern Baptist Preacher Speaking technique. And by that, I mean you've got to bring it up. And then you've got to bring it up. And then you've got to bring it back down. You got your peaks and your valleys. Now that's just how your volume and your pitch. I'm not even getting into the accent yet because that's an interesting one. She sounded like a
Starting point is 00:25:14 bastardized foghorn leghorn. Y'all know that big old rooster. Now listen here. Boy, I say here. I say here. So I'm going to demonstrate the whole thing. We're going to read about clean nutrition. Oh boy. with these people. This is essential, essential zinc. It is called essential zinc. I see it's very important to over-emphasize any consonant at the end of a word. Essential zinc, 50 milligrams. So you got your peaks and valleys in there, right? Peaks and valleys. So they say that they're talking about this company. Of course, it's non-GMO. They believe in clean. nutrition and being transparent. See, you get your peaks and valleys. And we're over-emphasizing the consonants. That's why you won't, what is this word? Why you won't find genetically
Starting point is 00:26:17 modified ingredients. Now see, it's very important to punch in the face every syllable of the word that you're reading, because that's the verbal version of an underscore and a bold. And maybe even an italic too, right? So keeping with reading, just simple everyday practicing with the Southern Baptist preacher, speaking technique, trademark, bling, you will not find gluten, wheat, dairy, lactose, or artificial flavors in any. of our products. Now I see, I see, Keynes over there, like, he's just all medically like, amen.
Starting point is 00:27:04 You sound authoritative, slightly terrifying, and also, you are inspiring some sort of reaction, what we don't know, in the person who is listening to you and receiving the message that you are delivering to them, right? And so it's very simple. when you're doing the Southern Baptist preacher speaking technique, you don't want to sound too much like foghorn leghorn, but you want to make sure that you're overemphasizing and that you're getting those peaks and valleys and that there's dynamic. You don't want to be one tone the whole time. You've got to bring it back.
Starting point is 00:27:42 And then you've got to very slowly take it back out to create anticipation in the hearts and minds of the people listening. See? It also makes you sound wise because all old people back in the days of your I think talk like that. So anybody can do it. She tried doing it there. Can I hear her one more time? She tried doing it there. She just sucks at it. I mean, she's from California, you know. That's like getting sushi at Sam's. Go ahead. You better thank a union member. No, that's not how. You better thank a union member for sick leave. You better thank a union member for paid leave. Okay. This sounds so bad. So first off, you can't have your voice like way up there in the trees, you know, way up there in the clouds. You got to bring it back down.
Starting point is 00:28:32 So if I were her, I would say, you better thank Henry Ford for giving you that five-day work week. You better thank Philip the second of Spain. Who back? And I think it was 1594 gave you the eight-hour work week. See? you got it you can't just she's just too much she didn't even know how to do it right but again she's a californian it's like i said it's like getting sushi at samms it's like you wouldn't go to burger king and ask for a taco why in the hell would you go to california and expect her to do the southern
Starting point is 00:29:10 baptist preacher speaking technique you know what i'm saying just not the same thing it's not the same thing do you want your zinc back you got more over there i'll just get it during the commercial okay all right i was just asking i didn't know if it's like something you needed and or, you know, you got a lot of stuff over there, though. So she just, did that, that sounded lame. The way she did it sounded bad. And it sounds, it's pandering. You better thank the federal government for shutting down your business during COVID, making you all go broke.
Starting point is 00:29:43 I mean, there's so many, that's the problem with her line of reasoning with that, that you could take that so many different ways. Why are we still talking like we live in the 20s, by the way? Why are we still as though no one can get like fair hours or wages determined by the market at their job? I mean, think about it. Imagine, you know, I would love to make as much money as Jeff Bezos. But you don't see me out on the street protesting for it. Because I don't want to put, I'm going to be real with you, I don't want to put in that kind of time. He worked in his parents' garage and he worked all the time.
Starting point is 00:30:22 He had no free time. I like to have some free time because I, you know, I literally just pre-purchase Marines and it comes out Thursday and I'm like waiting for, well, for all those of us pre-ordered, it comes out Thursday. And Jeff Bezos would not stop and do that. Jeff Bezos would be like, I'm going to go work another 1,8,11 hours. I don't want to do that. I'm going to be honest with you.
Starting point is 00:30:44 So why should I get a claim of what he makes because I, or make what he makes because I don't want to put in that kind of time? and work 24-7, why? Why should someone get paid Elon Musk's salary if they're not willing to do Elon Musk's work? People act as though the determining factor of wages is some magical, arbitrary made-up thing and that it's not done by market demand. This is why I point out the difference between teacher salaries and professional athletes like baseball players. actually when I was on Bill Mars show one time John Legend and I kind of weird got into it over that and he he gave that example and I said yeah that tells you what society values society people are going to spend money on bread and circuses they're going to spend money on going to sports entertainment and doing things like this one of the problems with you know for instance comparing that to teacher salaries is you're forced to give the bare minimum you know it's forced mediocrity you're tied to property taxes. Imagine how much better it would fare if people actually could, you know, have all that money back and then they could pay to send their kids where they wanted to go.
Starting point is 00:31:59 Everybody could afford it, by the way. Everybody could afford it. It doesn't matter your salary. You could afford it. And he had never thought about it that way before. I know he hadn't. But it's market demand and market, you know, what, that people will pay for what they value. And when you've got the government studying arbitrary standards, you're really shortchanging people that you claim to value, But, you know, it's just very odd thing. I mean, they really don't, they really don't get it. We're going to talk a little bit more about this because I got really aggravated at Facebook over the weekend. The capital gains, explaining something about capital gains.
Starting point is 00:32:34 And they keep putting up misinformation things on my posts. They're stupid little fascists, those glorified baristas that work at Facebook, who've never, you know that they've never made payroll a day in their life. You know that they don't, they've never, ever, ever, ever had to live. off of entirely what they've earned ever. You know these people haven't. They have no idea about economics 101. We're going to talk a little bit about this because they still push this out and they act like it's only people with $100 million a year that are going to get hit by this. Do you realize that the income tax, literally every tax that was ever created was only supposed to be for the rich? Now, how well did that work out for you last time you paid taxes as we move our partners that

That said, I think you should have some diverse options at the ready because, you know, you're not able to carry your firearm everywhere that you need to go. And I would love to have the luxury of being able to not go into gun-free zones. But by the nature of what I do to feed my family and to go out and help, you know, get people registered to vote and to do the work of people who want to complain about it, I have to going to gun-free zone sometimes. I don't like being left defenseless, particularly with the crime
Starting point is 00:33:53 rate. So this is where burner gun comes in. I have a lot of friends who work in D.C., Chicago, New York, and they've gone out and gotten their most popular model, the Burn-S-D. It shoots out chemical-irritant projectiles, five-round capacity compared to stun guns that are restricted to just one or two shots as well. And the Burna-SD, it's their best-selling defense option. The person who should be applauded is the president who did the most selfless thing that anybody's done since George Washington. And that's true. And so anybody, all the machinations that got us there, that's all, none of that's going to be remembered. And it shouldn't be.
Starting point is 00:35:05 What should be remembered is the selfless act of someone who, you know, it's very hard to let go of power. So George Clooney was at the Venice Film Festival where his, I actually, At first, I like the premise of it, even though I can't stand him. I like Brad Pitt. But it was called Wolfe's. You know, yes, it is grammatically incorrect. That is, that's true. But keep in mind, the Harvey Keitel, who's iconic character, The Wolf from Pulp Fiction, you know, he takes care of stuff.
Starting point is 00:35:36 He's the wolf. That's what it, you know, basically was apparently imagined after. It's getting panned. But as I was sitting there listening to him, speak in this. my first thought was I don't wow like that's you're a bad actor because I don't even believe that you believe that
Starting point is 00:35:55 number one and number two your wife has too many extensions on her head when she was walking down the red carpet it was like a wookie was like a backpack on her head there was so much damn hair thin it out a little bit nobody needs that nobody believes a 46 year old woman has hair that thick either that's that all the way

Last year, our government spent $150 billion to take care of our illegal immigration problem. With inflation, that number is much. worse. Has that number gone up in 2024? Check out the watchdog on Wall Street podcast on Apple, Spotify, wherever you get your podcast. Any population you'll have very small subsets of folks that don't follow the rules, and we hold those folks accountable. We actually know historically it's always true that we have lower levels of crime around migrants than we do among our general population. So that is,
Starting point is 00:38:06 there's a risk of misperception of this population is more dangerous causing more trouble. That's just factually not true. But we are aware of it. We have overt and covert operations going every day to intervene. where we know their risks, we're going to be aggressive about making arrests, about pressing charges and if needing deporting folks. But I think the much bigger risk is that you'll have a perception that all of the newcomers in the city are dangerous and nothing could be farther from the truth. So more like people on the left trying to dismiss the very real danger that has been posed by people who enter the country illegally and have been like running mad. And like for the story that we had just last week, several apartment buildings taken over by people. coming in from a Venezuelan gang and taking over these these apartment buildings in Aurora, which is the suburb of Denver. Welcome back to the program. Daniel Lash with you are at the top of
Starting point is 00:38:56 the second hour now. And you can listen. Obviously, you're listening. We're also on channel 347 and DirecTV can find us on Rumble where the discussion happens. And you can also find us over at X too as well. You know, the language is so, the language frustrates me. This whole sane migrants and all of this. I made note for, you know, some of the folks who helped put together videos for our social team. Because on Facebook, there'll be a post that goes up and it will say, you know, migrant, whatever. And I've made note, you know, back channel. I'm like, I don't talk like this. I say the actual legal term, which is a legal alien or legal immigrant. That's an actual legitimate legal term. But do you know that if I put that up on Facebook, I get a strike?
Starting point is 00:39:42 if it's in any of my videos on Facebook, I get a strike. So when you see that up there, we can't, they will literally like hide it or they'll take it down or they will threaten to suspend my account. It is crazy. It is crazy. The language police on this. But it's more than language, which goes to show you that it never just stops with language. They want to write, rewrite the action. the actual perception.
Starting point is 00:40:16 I mean, you have a real situation with crime here. People coming in illegally into the country. You have no idea where they're coming from. You have no idea what kind of record they have. The sad thing is, is that the communities that are most affected are the very communities. The left always pays this lip service to and pretends to care about. Minority communities or Hispanic communities. I mean, it's, it's, it is, at some point, maybe some in the media will catch on to this.
Starting point is 00:40:51 But this law and order issue, so 75%, let me pull this up, because we're going to come back to the Colorado thing. Just case and point. Police in New York and Manhattan are estimating that up to 75% of crimes in Manhattan are committed by illegal immigrants. And I mean, We've seen this as New York Post. They're saying that the flood of illegal immigrants into the justice system, quote, 75% arrest in Midtown. It's been described as pathetic. And the sanctuary city laws that they have there make it impossible for police to actually do anything about the crime. They talked about, for instance, they start from people who do petty crimes to people who actually are involved in violent crimes.
Starting point is 00:41:43 Jefferson Mollenado, 31-year-old illegal immigrant from Ecuador, was arrested in New York City five times alone since arriving earlier this year. He's stolen from a number of different places. And when he was asked, why are you stealing, you know, clothes and all this stuff? He's like, because I wanted to change. I mean, he's a young dude. This guy is like 31 years old, comes in illegally. And they finally brought him in for arraignment. And they said that the criminal justice system in New York, the,
Starting point is 00:42:13 amount of people coming in illegally and that when they are detained and they're brought in, the number of these illegal aliens for these arraignments, they said it's at a higher rate than public officials have acknowledged. They say that police say it's as many as 75% of the people that they've been arresting for assault, robbery, domestic violence are people who are in the country illegally. They said in parts of Queens, the figure is over 60%. on any given day per the post, the Manhattan Criminal Court dockets are packed with quote unquote asylum seekers, which that's not a real thing, who've run afoul of the law. That's a, that's a asylum seeker. They're not seeking asylum.
Starting point is 00:42:59 They're not, they just came here illegally and they're just using, they're just saying that they are. And of course, the sanctuary city laws in New York, cops cannot work with ice. that makes it incredibly difficult. And here's the thing, if they work with ICE, I was talking to a friend whose husband was in the force in Manhattan, and they've since moved. They're outside of Austin, and they've moved since then. And they were saying that they're one of the people who left New York.
Starting point is 00:43:26 They didn't go to Florida, though. They came to Texas. And they were saying that you can actually be suspended if you are found collaborating or cooperating or working with ICE when you're not supposed to in Manhattan. And it is the craziest thing. And so they can't do this where they believe that suspects are in the country illegally. They're not allowed to do this.
Starting point is 00:43:48 NYPD says they're barred even from tracking the immigration status of offenders. So if even if it's a repeat offender, it doesn't matter. They can't, they're not even allowed to to track the status of these people. That's a major. That's a, that's an issue of, of. gathering data for crime. That's, that's a major issue. And they're blocked from doing it.
Starting point is 00:44:17 This is, uh, audio sound bite 29. This cop told a citizen who is reporting a crime committed by someone who entered illegally. Listen to what, listen to what the cop says here. Audio sound by 29. Well, grab his information and see what it would be good, but this, you know, like that he said. So, uh, can you at least collect the information? He said that he's already, uh, illegal.
Starting point is 00:44:35 He already said that he went to. Okay. Oh, it was back of the letter. First off. We're a sanctuary city, even if he's legal here, we cannot call ICE to report him. But you still have to report that, right? No, we don't.
Starting point is 00:44:45 Because it's a sanctuary city. We do not report illegal undonexious. So you're gonna let a person who went to prison, he committed a crime in America, who's illegal right now, we're gonna let him go free right now. Because this elevator. That's exactly what I'm saying, because we're a sanctuary city.
Starting point is 00:44:56 I've arrested a double homicide suspect in this city before and let him walk out the door because we're a sanctuary city. We're not gonna call ICE to come pick up and deporting. He came to pick up $320,000 from your team, or mine grandmother and grandfather. And he's walking away through it right now. That's what I'm understanding right now.
Starting point is 00:45:13 I understand that. But you're asking you to call ICE or the... I'm not asking you to call ICE. We're just asking me to take seriously. I'm just trying to repeat a fan, but he's already illegal. He's repeating what you're doing. He said, I'm in China Town and New York. That's amazing.
Starting point is 00:45:29 You know, the citizen who himself is an is a legal immigrant is reporting a crime. And the cop is brushing off the concerns of the legal, citizen, the citizen who came here and legally immigrated to the U.S. of A, brushing away there, that citizen's concerns. No, I mean, he's like, yeah, we got to let this guy walk out of the door. We're sanctuary sitting. The guy was a double homicide suspect. That's crazy. Who?
Starting point is 00:45:57 This is taxation without representation. You're paying taxes for protection that you're being denied. And people who do not pay taxes are being protected. that's we went to war for less I'm just pointing this out we had conflict for less than this how is that a return on the investment of your tax dollars I don't know why we pay taxes
Starting point is 00:46:21 I don't know why people in New York pay taxes this is this is it's exactly that can you imagine you come to the United States for a better way of life and then you see people trying to bring the bad way of life to your new country. And the police are like, well, we can't do anything because, you know, we can't do anything. The sanctuary city laws, they make it to where we can't stop these people.
Starting point is 00:46:49 And it doesn't help to touch back on Colorado when you have the lawmakers who are just rolling their eyes and dismissing these very serious issues. Like Jared Polis at a Colorado. he's gaslighting. He was spending the weekend gaslighting on this, the Venezuelan takeover, the gang takeover, of these apartment buildings in Aurora. They're like, oh, well, I, you know, they wouldn't acknowledge it was an organized crime effort.
Starting point is 00:47:22 And on Wednesday, Polis's office flat out denied that it happened. They actually denied that it happened. Even though there's video of it and numerous reports, from people who live there. He dismissed it, calling it, quote, imagination. You have video footage. You have police reports. You even have the mayor of the city of Aurora, Colorado,
Starting point is 00:47:49 who says that it's happening. You're at Aurora City Councilwoman, Danielle Jurenski, who told the New York Post that the gang's takeovers are tied to his policies because, you know, sanctuary city. So, Pullis as a way to get pat, as a way to hit out at the councilwoman, said, quote, it is a feature of Danielle Jurenski's imagination, end quote. So the Colorado governor, Democrat governor, the video of the actual Venezuelan gangs, numerous video clips, by the way, numerous different video taken,
Starting point is 00:48:29 the reports of residents of several apartment complexes, the police who respond. responded and couldn't do anything. They were all told that they were nothing more than this councilwoman's imagination. And they added, well, it's illegal to take over buildings in Colorado, like a snarky response from the governor's office. That is insane. Fox Denver had footage. I mean, these are media outlets.
Starting point is 00:48:59 And don't think because I said Fox Denver that it's like conservative Fox network, it's owned by the Fox corporation, but it's not Fox News. And they're not always conservative in every local town, in every town. They had video footage. Numerous media outlets had different footage. And it shows all, like one of them, the one I'm looking at that the New York Post had, had three guys carrying handguns. Another guy had a rifle. And they went into one apartment complex. They broke into the unit. And the mayor, Mike Kaufman, was saying that there are several buildings that have been taken over by these gangs. And he said that the buildings were used as taxpayer-funded housing for illegal immigrants.
Starting point is 00:49:43 And that's how the gangs got a foothold. And so they started going door to door and taking over this stuff, robbing people, all of this. And but the governor's like, no, that's not happening. It's part of Daniel Jurenski, the councilwoman in Aurora, who talked about it. That's her imagination. Imagine living in that area and your citizen. and you're worried about Venezuelan gangs that have been invited by your governor to come in and now they're taking over apartment complexes, would you feel protected? Why do people keep voting for these people?
Starting point is 00:50:19 Why do they vote for Democrat? I don't understand this whole point. I get if you think voting Republican is square or whatever, I don't care what a stupid petty reason there is. Why would you vote for this? Because that's what the consent of the vote does. Is it legitimizes this sort of administration? We have more on the way. Imagine if you had a GPS for your body's engine in your hands.

Starting point is 00:51:46 And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick 5. Okay, here, let's see. We've been discussing, everything froze, so we've been discussing this whole situation with the Sanctuary City stuff. back to that. This stranded NASA astronauts have contacted Houston to report strange noises.
Starting point is 00:52:12 Okay, so I've been reading the story. We talked about and following this story. We've discussed these astronauts that have been stuck on ISS for a significant amount of time and they have no idea how they're going to get down. They were supposed to come down on that Boeing Starliner and that's not happening.
Starting point is 00:52:28 So now Elon Musk SpaceX is partnering with them. And they apparently had some issues aboard the ISS. And so, So they said it had to do with something that they were trying to figure it. I had to do something was not performing correctly on the station. And they said it sounded like a sonar ping and they were trying to figure out what it was. But that was one of the latest things.
Starting point is 00:52:52 It's turning into a horror film. Like they're hearing these weird noises and all of this other stuff, these stranded astronauts up there. They are slated to not come back until February of next year. It was supposed to be an eight-day. trip. And they've been up there for months. The space version of Gilligan's Island. Yeah. Or that there's a series, New Me Rapaces in it. It's a really good series. I can't remember what it's called, but it's a space series. It's very similar to this. Sky News says mobile phone usage does
Starting point is 00:53:23 not increase brain cancer risk. This is new research. New research into brain cancer from use of mobile phone. They're saying, no, there's not. There's 63 studies now, and there's no link between the usage in this. So it's the vaccine. I mean, I'm not saying it's a shot, but, you know, just saying it might be. Boreshead deli meat. Do you eat boars head deli meat? I don't need
Starting point is 00:53:46 processed meat. There's a lot of processed meat. There's a lot of processed meat. This is really gross. Boershead deli meat, apparently they have Listeria fears. There's been warnings issued about the boarshead meat products. Mold, roaches and blood have been found in their deli meat. And it's
Starting point is 00:54:02 this plant linked to a deadly listeria. outbreak. Seattle-based food safety attorney says that the disease has an incubation period of two months, et cetera, et cetera. Boershead began recalling meats back in July. It expanded the list again in early August. Now, the Virginia plant, they did apparently a survey. It is crawling with bugs and mold and mildew. I am going to be sick on air because, oh, no, mix your mouth feel weird. No, it's not good. So maybe don't eat it. lawmakers are approving legislation to ban deepakes and regulate AI. Well, government wants to control it. So it's not so much about protecting workers. We have a lot more on the way. Stick

And Patriot Mobile wants to make sure that you're not only paying less for your cell phone service, but that your money is not working against you at the ballot box. And so with Patriot mobile, your money's not going towards that. Your money's protecting what you support. They've been instrumental in a lot of these school board races, pushing back against DEI, helping to support Second Amendment rights and more. You can keep your phone, keep your number,

We invited both President Trump and the Biden-Harris administration, and we didn't hear back from the White House.
Starting point is 00:56:21 We were happy to welcome President Trump to lay reefs with all three of our families and some of our wounded, some of our wounded, from that day. And when he came to Section 60, it was at our request to spend time with our loved ones. There was not a press presence there. We privately took pictures among ourselves. And it was a more celebratory feeling for that day because, you know, we want to celebrate our loved ones. And it's very hard to find ways to do that at, you know, at a cemetery. But they were very respectful. We didn't see any altercation. And really, we just want our loved ones to be honored and remembered in a positive way. That is Chrissy Shamblin, who is the mother of Nicole Gee, who was one of the 13 killed at the Abbey Gate at the airport there.
Starting point is 00:57:19 It was formerly known as the Ahamudkarsai International Airport, the Kabul Airport, and was one of the families that was there at the observance, there in Arlington of the deaths of those 13 soldiers of that withdrawal. And they had invited the president. She was explaining what happened. I just, welcome back, Dana Lash with you, bottom of the second hour. It is shameful to me that these families are being attacked. They're being indirectly attacked. They asked the president to go and be at this observance. They did not ask Biden or Harris or anyone else. They had only asked the former President Trump and they had, they wanted him to be there. And I think it made the left angry because you had the optic of Harris doing heaven knows what. And Biden was on the beach when this happened. And then it showed Trump
Starting point is 00:58:14 laying the wreath at the memorial. And you have all of these lefties, including, you know, some military, you know, the metal winning pencil pushing, you know, military faction, you know, military faction, Big Ward, Inc. that's on the left that have come out and have said, oh, he shouldn't have politicized this. He didn't politicize this. He was asked by these families, have the balls, at least, to criticize the families, because that's really what they're doing. But they can't criticize the families, because then it will look as though they are attacking Gold Star families. So they are purposefully waiting in to make it, they're attacking Trump on it so that Trump will respond. And then they can invalidate the whole thing by saying, well, you know, look. This is a very important. This is a lot of
Starting point is 00:58:56 is, I mean, this administration killed them. Biden's indecision killed them. Let's not mince words. I mean, they also apparently are just blowing over the fact that it was their administration that released the terrorists who killed them. The Free Beacon has the peace of how the Biden administration had already confirmed, and others already confirmed that the suicide bomber there, who was a known terrorist, by the way, was a known terrorist, had been freed from prison during the withdrawal. It was a House Foreign Affairs Committee.
Starting point is 00:59:45 They said in a statement, the DOD report revealed that the suicide bomber who detonated the explosive belt at Abbey Gate and killed 13 U.S. service members injured 45 more. his name Abdul Rahman Al-Langari, an ISIS K terrorist who was freed from Bagram prison by the Taliban during the U.S. withdrawal, during the chaotic withdrawal. Troops had left Bagram Airfield weeks before the Abbey Gate
Starting point is 01:00:08 bombing, and this guy was imprisoned there, and when Taliban came and took it over, because remember those remember how the story went, our soldiers left like they were called out, pulled out, like, in the middle of the night. And remember the story on this. Afghan troops had no idea what was going on. None. They had no clue. They were being trained by service members and they had no idea. They just, they left. They left Bagram, the largest
Starting point is 01:00:39 airfield there in Afghanistan. They didn't even notify the Afghan commander. The head of all of Afghanistan's troops there that were partnering with our soldiers, he wasn't even notified. That was in the DOD report. Remember. And the terrorist that went out and carried this murder had been imprisoned there. And he was freed when the Taliban rolled through. It sounded like there was a deal made with the Taliban that never really got reported on or made public about all of this. And remember, Biden said, oh, the withdrawal was going to be orderly and calm. No one's going to Taliban's not going to take over the country, except in the weeks leading up, remember, the Taliban was rolling through village after village, and they were communicating via WhatsApp.
Starting point is 01:01:39 And they were telling these villages we're rolling through. There were villages who surrendered as the Taliban rolled in because they knew the Taliban were coming because the Taliban was telegraphing all of those through literally WhatsApp. You're telling me that our intel officials, that our, intel officials, that our, metal wearing or pin wearing pencil pushers who formed more ink on the left side of things that they had no idea that this was happening. They were using WhatsApp, a damn app. Everyone else in Afghanistan knew it, apparently, except for the Biden administration. No, they knew it. They just didn't care. I think that they made a deal with the Taliban to just allow them to take over again. I really
Starting point is 01:02:21 do believe that. Occam's razor. Occam's razor. Remember, Harris said that she was a last person in the room offering Biden advice and helping to guide him on this. Remember, she claimed this. And of course, how could you forget when Biden was there if you want to talk about whose response was more dignified? Don't forget, remember the ABC News interview with the Gold Star mothers and they were talking about the transfer ceremony? The mother said that it was total disrespect and that Biden kept checking his watch. And he's photographed checking his Watch. The mothers told this to ABC. They all went on record. They didn't have their faces, nothing. I mean, if you want to have a discussion about, you know, what is or is not acceptable.
Starting point is 01:03:16 Biden's, they got mad because Trump posed with families at the cemetery and they took photos and the left was livid. Do you know how many times Biden has posed with families at military cemeteries and there have been photos taken? No, that's not what aboutism. It's, that's what Democrats say when their hypocrisy is pointed out. They go, oh, well, that's what about is. No, that's called your hypocrisy. We're not going to change the language to suit you. That's your hypocrisy.
Starting point is 01:03:41 He was invited there by these families. And now the Biden's and the Democrats who killed their loved ones, they're livid. Now, Biden checked his watch. He was checking his watch. All of these Gold Star mothers when they were talking to ABC. They said that they were livid over this,
Starting point is 01:03:58 and they all mentioned it. All of them mentioned it. and when the families, the Gold Star, I think it's so sad that these families have to go and defend their own decisions and their own method of honoring the loved ones that the Biden administration killed by going to the press and defending this. They said they were the ones who requested and approved cameras. They said they were the ones who invited Trump. But the way that it's being reported, they act like Trump brought a whole fleet of cameras and showed up himself. They made this and do a huge thing because Harris decided she wanted to, make an attack on Trump over it. And the reason that she gambled, she thought, well, if I can just
Starting point is 01:04:40 directly attack him for showing up at the cemetery and intimate that he brought the cameras and that it was all his thing, that I can invalidate these families. That's how much of a threat. These 13 lost service members represent to Kamala Harris. I guess Harris and Biden weren't satisfied with killing the 13 with their bad decisions at Abbey Gate alone, so they have to now go and try to kill the characters and reputations of their family members too? I feel like that's a, no, I don't feel like that is a valid point. The administration not content with killing the 13 service members now seeks to kill the characters and reputations
Starting point is 01:05:19 of the service members' families because they chose to invite the former president to observe the loss of their loved ones on the third year of their passing. just shameful. That's shameful. And they've, they've been, the way that they have been describing all of this and attacking them in the press, they're ignoring the family or either they're calling the family lie. I don't know what it is.
Starting point is 01:05:53 Which is it? Do you remember when Trump got into a very public argument with the one gold star father, Khazir Khan, when he was running in 2016, and how the media was all over. Like, how dare you? Criticize a gold star parent. How dare you? But now they don't care. That's the media's double standard. Now they don't care. Here you have a bunch of gold star families. Trump didn't even have anything to do with the death of Khan's loved one. Biden Harris were the ones who made the call that absolutely caused the death of these 13. But the media loved the gold star father, Khan, who took on Trump in 2016, but now they hate Gold Star families apparently. I don't know. I mean, what am I supposed to, that's what you get from this. They're suggesting that they're liars or that
Starting point is 01:06:48 somehow they're grifters. If you read some of the headlines on them and what they've said, I mean, they've just, they, it's shameful. So they're, they have a war with these Abbey Gate Gold Star families because these families proved to be such a threat to Harris. Harris, when she tweeted about it, she said, quote, as vice president, I've had the privilege of visiting Arlington National Cemetery several times. It's a solemn place, a place where we can come together to honor American heroes who've made the ultimate sacrifice in service of this nation. It's not a place for politics.
Starting point is 01:07:27 What? How was it political? Just because Trump's there doesn't mean that it's political. You can't just make that claim. good grief. I mean, they have just, it's despicable. It is despicable. I don't know. I'm almost without words on this. I feel so bad for these families because now they have to defend this. The New York Times says Trump campaign uses statements from Gold Star families to attack Harris. You know why this is such a absolute garbage headline from the New York Times? Because Trump had nothing to do with it. It was the families that were responding to Kamala Harris themselves directly without Trump. Trump had nothing to do with it. They were defending because they felt attacked by this administration and by their surrogates.
Starting point is 01:08:18 And they felt the need to defend their chosen way to observe the loss of their loved ones three years after their deaths. And the New York Times ran a story claiming that the Trump campaign used statements from, like he went out and solicited the statements from Gold Star families to attack Harris when it was the families who were literally merely responding to her. It is an outright lie. That's shameful. I mean, the families chose to make videos where they were defending how they wanted to honor their loved ones. But it's, again, it is an inconvenient truth for the Biden Harris administration because they were responsible for killing them in the first place. We have audio of
Starting point is 01:09:10 Biden talking about this. Where's this at? This is audio when he was discussing, here it is. Audio somebody, 13. Listen to this. This is from over the weekend. Mr. President, what I think of President's behavior at Arlington Cemetery with the visit to the
Starting point is 01:09:28 Pollard soldiers? Did you watch your vice president's interview on CNN? Anything of the ISIS operation, Mr. President? He says, I don't want to answer. I might tell you what I think like that's supposed to be some kind of threat. You're the, you're the reason they're in Arlington Cemetery, Joe Biden. You are the reason.
Starting point is 01:09:50 You and Kamala Harris, because she was the last person in the room advising you, you're the reason there in Arlington Cemetery, National Cemetery in the first place. You are the reason they're underground there. So you don't get to act like a tough guy. You don't get to act like that. You're nothing more than white trash who only raised drug addiction.
Starting point is 01:10:10 kids when he's not screwing his wife's nanny. All right, we got to move. I'm done. Can we just stop pretending that there's any like basis of courtesy here, can we? Because I'll feel a lot more at home when we can do that. I'm not going to sit here and pretend that we're going to engage in this like false system of courtesy and mercy and all of this other stuff when, you know, the reason he, I mean, that enrages me to talk to the press like that when you're the reason that they're dead in the first place. Shame on you. Disgusting. Moving as we move our partners that help bring you free radio, new partners to the show, burn a gun, it's a non-firearm firearm. I'm always going to tell you to carry. I am never going to tell you not to carry, and I'm never, ever going to tell you to be
Starting point is 01:10:47 irresponsible about your self-defense. That said, I think you should have some diverse options at the ready because, you know, you're not able to carry your firearm everywhere that you need to go. And I would love to have the luxury of being able to not go into gun-free zones, but by the nature of what I do to feed my family and to go out and help, you know, get people registered to vote and to do the work of people who want to complain about it. I have to go into gun-free zone sometimes. I don't like being left defenseless, particularly with the crime rate. So this is where burn a gun comes in.
Starting point is 01:11:18 I have a lot of friends who work in D.C., Chicago, New York, and they've gone out and gotten their most popular model, the Burn-S-D. It shoots out chemical irritant projectiles, five-round capacity compared to stun guns that are restricted to just one or two shots as well. And the Burna-SD, it's their best-selling defense option. And it's a non-firearm firearm. It doesn't care about gun-free zones. Legal in all 50 states requires no background checks or permits, and it can be shipped right to your door, so it's super accessible.
Starting point is 01:11:45 Learn more about it. B.YRNA, visit berna.com slash Dana for 10% off your purchase. B.RNA, burn a gun, burner.com slash Dana for 10% off. It's his life mission to make bad decisions. It's time for Florida, man. All right, I immediately have to go to this one, which is insane and amazing. amazing. A lot of people have different ways to get customer attention when they're selling stuff out and about, right? So, you know, like Girl Scout cookies, they have their little table and they're all up in their Girl Scout uniforms. And you have the Salvation Army bell ringers when they're
Starting point is 01:12:24 raising money for their amazing programs that they do. They've got the kettles and they're ringing the bells. This guy decided to go way above that. According to Local 10 here in Florida, or they're in Florida. We're in Texas. A 46-year-old man's approach at a Florida Key strip mall to sell meth got him in trouble. He was running around with a machete. Oh, no, sorry, throwing a beer bottle telling people he had a knife. One report said he had a knife running around after shoppers, throwing beer bottles while trying to force them to buy meth at a strip mall, say deputies. That's not like bell ringing. Monroe County Sheriff's Office, they said deputies were sent to the Taverny town center and the guy Stephen Bennett was yelling at shoppers throwing bottles at them,
Starting point is 01:13:14 threatening one with a knife, trying to sell meth. He said no one, the officers say no one was seriously hurt. Deputies found 15 grams of meth on Bennett. Oh, and they did find the machete. So he was saying knife, but it was a machete according to the police report. That's a knife. Yeah, it's a big knife. Scale pipes, all kinds of stuff. They got him on charges of meth trafficking, orderly conduct battery and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is in Key West Jail facility on a $125,000 bond. Yeah, that's not how you sell stuff. Not, you know. So in Florida, a man shot and killed a bear to protect his puppy, which I totally won't do in Fort McCoy, Marion County. And he is not going to face charges. Now, Florida made it. Remember, it's the crack bear law. If a bear's coming to
Starting point is 01:14:04 kill you and kill you, then you can shoot and kill the bear and you're not going to go to jail because normally they would try to take you to jail for it. This guy's dog, this bear was going to kill his dog. And now, as long as you notify Florida wildlife conservation within 24 hours, you can't, they're not going to charge you if you're defending yourself, your life and life of your loved ones. So this guy, good story for this. Thanks to Santa signing that law. Stick with us. Our friends over at Black Rifle Coffee. Just the best coffee out there. I accidentally, oh my gosh, I can't, for whatever reason, I accidentally spilled some of my coffee this morning. Again, yeah, it's like liquid gold because it's so good and I just, I don't want to waste any of it. And this is the only coffee that I will drink. I've gotten to the point. I don't drink ground coffee at home. I ground beads, but I will get a bag of ground coffee from Black Rifle Coffee now with my coffee club order just so I can take it with me when I travel because I cannot stand drinking anything else. We all know this. I remember a time when Republicans talked about things like freedom, they meant it. They would never turn their back on our allies. But that's not these guys.
Starting point is 01:16:20 Trump and Vance, when they talk about freedom, means government should have to be the freedom to invade every corner of our life. They talk about small government, small enough to be in your bedroom, small enough to be in your exam room, small enough to be in your library, telling you the things that you should make decisions about. Where does this fud get off? I mean, what about the government that's small enough to go and call a hotline and snitch on your neighbors because they decided to have Thanksgiving with their families and all get together under one roof?
Starting point is 01:16:49 What about that? I mean, good night. That's Tim Walls, who over the weekend was speaking at one of the campaign events that he and Kamala Harris had undertaken. And I don't, nobody wants to be in anybody's bedroom. But here's the thing. You don't believe in privacy or small government. This is the guy who not only expects you to be in the bedroom,
Starting point is 01:17:12 he expects you to applaud and throw money at the people engaging in the act. He does. And he also wants to get involved in your bedroom and as well as get involved in your kids' lives and what's going on with your kids' private issues. Good heavens. I this is why does he keep doing this and people just keep applauding like seals welcome back to the program Dana Lash with you we are at the top of this third hour today and I've got I'm just I'm looking at we have what 10 sound bites from their their rally let's just do that let's do audio soundbite 4 this is I don't get this
Starting point is 01:18:01 Somebody said, what's next child labor? Hell yeah, it's in there. That's what they've got in there. You see states doing that, putting our children at risk. That's what they'll do. What? Yeah, so now they're going to put you back in chains. They're going to, I remember the days when they were just saying that Republicans were going to throw all the old people off cliffs.
Starting point is 01:18:23 Remember that? That sounds like something they'd accuse you of, Kane, you know, because you say old people aren't innocent. Lord, I hate when you do that. Not all old people are in. I heard what you just said there. I heard him. You all heard it. You heard it.
Starting point is 01:18:39 What does he mean he wants forced child labor? Where does it even come from? This is like some waiting for lefty nonsense. Where? What is this? You know what the irony is? Is that this leftist green agenda literally requires child labor for all of the cobalt to be mined for their batteries?
Starting point is 01:18:58 Just a quick flashback. ABC of all places. actually did an expose on this back in 2019, where they looked at the People's Democratic Republic of Congo, and they discovered that it's like the largest coal-bult mine, that something over what, 80% of it was mined by hand, and of that 80% that was mined by hand, something like 70% of that was carried out by children,
Starting point is 01:19:21 and it was one of the largest child labor workforces, that exist. And that's the mind that Hunter Biden, through Perkins Cooey, which was the Biden family little third party business, they helped the Chinese acquire the mineral rights to that mine. C-EFC and Perkins Cui, that probably explains the big blood diamond that he was given. Remember that one? So we have this.
Starting point is 01:19:46 Then we also, this was four. Go ahead and play five for me. He's the pocket. Hot pocket. I can remember, and this was one, Republicans came up to me in one of my campaigns, and they said, Tim is in the pocket of organized labor. I said, that's a damn lie.
Starting point is 01:20:06 I am the pocket. I am the pocket. What does that mean? Wait, let's break this down because he's, huh. So, by the way, it's Tim Walls again, everybody. And if I didn't greet you, welcome back, Dana Lash, top of the third hour. Tim Wall says that he's not in the pocket of organized labor. He is the pocket.
Starting point is 01:20:23 So organized labor is in his pocket? Is that what he just said? Can we, I'm sorry, Juan, we hit it again. We just want to make sure, let's just make sure. I can remember, and this was one, Republicans came up to me in one of my campaigns, and they said, Tim is in the pocket of organized labor. I said, that's a damn lie. I am the pocket.
Starting point is 01:20:45 I am the pocket. So he's saying that organized labor is in his pocket. I'm not in the pocket or I am the pocket. Wait, what? Why do you have to be a pocket? This is what happens when people try to do little turny turns of phrases and they try to be cutie about it. That just sounds bad.
Starting point is 01:21:15 He sounds like, you know what? He's, again, the drunk guy at the family barbecue. He's the guy who gets drunk. He gets all poo face and he runs around and he's talking big and being a loudmouth. That's him. That's him. So he's the pocket.
Starting point is 01:21:29 Isn't it sound like what he said. He's the organized laborers in his pocket, I guess, hot pocket. That makes sense. Like they try to act like they're all hot in the outside, but it's still cold, frozen meat on the inside, right? Full of Lenton receipts. As I said, her hair's full of secrets. Yeah, well, he's full of linton receipts.
Starting point is 01:21:50 I don't know. They are trying so hard to, I don't, I'm trying to understand these two. he audio soundbite one here he's trying to act like he's the every man tim wals listen to this is so dumb i saw last week the wall street journal was trying to say because they did a story that apparently i am the poorest person to ever run for vice president so then remember when he hated jd vans for escaping poverty remember yeah just like a couple weeks ago they hated jd vans because jd vans grew up like linds legit poor and then was able to go to Yale and worked his own way and didn't have the government,
Starting point is 01:22:39 you know, wasn't on the teat of the government. They hated that, but now all of a sudden, wait, so is it poverty chic cool again? Okay, Steve's like, you should have let it go. Okay, go ahead and let the rest of it go. There's apparently there's a couple more nuggets in there. So then, but then they did another story that said, oh, he's actually richer than his statement says because he has, and I quote, like this is an evil thing, a defined benefit pension plan. That is my wish for every American to have a defined benefit pension plan.
Starting point is 01:23:23 Yeah, except you want to tax the hell out of it. By the way, remember when they went after, and I'm not a Marco Rubio stand, but do you remember when they went after, Democrats went after Marco Rubio back in 2016, and they said that he had a yacht? Please, Juan, please find the picture of Marco Rubio's boat because someone got a, someone found a video of that exact boat and they put it with the Miami Vice music. And it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life. It's like the exact kind of stuff that the internet was created for. And whenever I'm having a bad day, I just, I legit think of that video and I just start dying laughing. It was, it's one of the funniest. Because we kept reading these headlines. Oh my gosh, Marco Rubio's got this yacht. I'm like,
Starting point is 01:24:08 well, geez, you know, what kind of yacht is it? Right. The left are real freaking out about it. I mean, is this like the Coru? Is this like what Bezos has? That's before Bezos. Yeah. I mean, it has to be a huge yacht, right?
Starting point is 01:24:18 I'm thinking, you know, like, I don't think I can say that. I was thinking of prestige worldwide from stepbrothers is what I was thinking of. And so they're like, oh, man, he's got a yacht. They called it a yacht. I kid you not. Democrats were saying it was a yacht. And they said he lived in a man. this is that was that's his this is his wait this way that's his yacht that's his yacht that's his yacht
Starting point is 01:24:41 that was the rubio yacht that's literally it it's a dingy that's that's a yacht it's a center console powerboat two outboard motors um you might be able to take one or two friends fishing well no you can you can fit a couple people on that you probably get four people on that boat that little power boat you know that's about what you tool around the exuma's with the other two ain't fishing well yeah no I mean you you know it's just it's a little boat you know it's not a yacht yeah that's not a yacht but that's what they were saying that and then he they found that he lived in like a two-story ranch on a cul-de-sac they were saying that he had a mansion and a yacht I have a mansion and a yacht and it was a powerboat and like an average everyday person's home on a cul-de-sac oh my my favorite thing I think I
Starting point is 01:25:35 Actually, I think it was taken offline. I got to find it. It was, I can't remember if it was New York Times or if it was a New Yorker. And they were trying to say, and he lives, you know, like on a concrete, he lives in a circular drive. It's a cul-de-sac. They literally tried to act like this dude's cul-de-sac was a circular drive. Fancy. It's 2,000 square feet or larger now.
Starting point is 01:26:02 It's a mansion. That's a mansion. Good Lord. I'm sorry. Is your home? over 1,600 square feet, you rich mansion dweller. Where's your yacht? Where's your yacht?
Starting point is 01:26:12 Well, hell, I want a yacht like that. I was on a yacht then officially over the summer. I would call my boat that size a yacht ironically. I would, too. I would be, I would call it yachty. Yeah? Yacht rock. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:30 That's, I would call it, I would call it Yachty Molina after my former favorite cardinal player. But Y-A-C-H-H-H. T-I-E I would call it that. But this is the stuff that the left does. And then you get Tim Walts. They're really excited that they got a guy who isn't. They purposely found a mess. They wanted to go out and find like, they're like, we need someone who is not rich.
Starting point is 01:26:56 And they're looking at each other like, oh my gosh, we're all rich. What are we going to do? We need someone who is less rich than us. I mean, he's still rich. Someone who is less rich. Who is less? This guy. This big mouth up there in Minnesota, let's get him.
Starting point is 01:27:12 My goodness. But they hate, they don't like coming out of poverty. They don't like this escaping poverty stories, especially if it was done without government. Because then that negates their whole purpose. They want poor people to believe that you were born in poverty. You'll never going to escape it unless the government extricates you from that status. They don't want you to believe that you can do it yourself. and that's why they push things like equity
Starting point is 01:27:37 because if you believe that you have the power to do it yourself then why the hell do you need them? That's the whole purpose of it. Why do you need big government if you can do it yourself? Why do you need them? And so they've got to battle that messaging. So it's weird, it's like watching the right and the left are both using populism
Starting point is 01:27:56 and I find it kind of annoying. I like populism in small amounts, believe. I was one of the founders of the modern day Tea Party. I get it. but even then you know populism has its limits in terms of as a as a tactician you know you can't just go out there and you know say red meat platy i mean at some point you got to do something right you got to have policies that means something which brings me to another point someone was telling actually it was i think it was somebody my friend over at the baby and i disagreed with them they were saying oh well conservatives didn't do a whole heck of a lot
Starting point is 01:28:27 and that's why you have these populace coming over and i'm like wait a minute these are two different things they're not interchangeable terms and secondly there are more I had tweeted about this over the week and talking about these two different ideological belief sets because you can't really use it interchangeably. And we'll talk about this more in the days to come. But I mean, you it just can't, you can't use it interchangeably. And I had said that many, if not most, conservatives are Republicans, but not all Republicans are conservatives.
Starting point is 01:28:58 Conservatives have never had majority power ever within the Republican Party. So you can't blame conservatives for not doing something because there's never been enough of them in the first place. And now all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five. I love this phrase. Errant ostrich. It brought traffic to a halt in, of all places, South Dakota after one, they're huge. After one of them escaped from a trailer. They're huge.
Starting point is 01:29:29 And is it, can I be honest, my first thought was how big of the? them drummies. Some drummies like, how big them tindies? Ostrich, brought traffic to a halt in Sioux Falls. Motorists tried to lure it away. It was like in the middle of a multi-lane road. It was seven feet tall. And they had police, animal officials, motorists, everyone very carefully tried to corral this bird. And people were coaxing it off the, off of the road. They were trying to give it a little nudge, offered some treats. Wasn't, you know, they'd suffered no interest. It was fine and they were able to get it back.
Starting point is 01:30:04 But it's just funny watching all these people. There's video of it. They're trying to just like, they're scared of it, but they're trying to get it. Get it out of the road so it doesn't get killed. It's so funny though. This story, U.S. election software, it is always going to be a security threat. This is why we need paper ballots. Like how is it that other states?
Starting point is 01:30:25 Some states can get all their stuff counted and situated. Some countries are all paper. They get all their stuff counted, situated. but apparently there's a cybersecurity firm that has troubling security bugs like in New Hampshire for instance and they're saying that because of the way that this is operated in New Hampshire
Starting point is 01:30:41 their database, etc. A small, even a tiny glitch on election day could, I mean it could cause a lot of problems the leads of which could be conspiracy related. So they just, you've got to do a better job. Of course, who runs it there? You've got to look at these states and who is in charge of making these decisions
Starting point is 01:30:55 and I guarantee you it's not Republicans that are in charge of that. How much more about it just say? Also, this, a couple of others. I'm going to make sure I get all of the, oh, I wanted to touch on this one because they didn't, I didn't get to this. This is the TikTokers from last,
Starting point is 01:31:09 I was going to have this last hour. The Chase Bank Glitch. I don't know if you guys have seen that, seeing this trending. Ticktokers were trying to exploit what they called a Chase Bank Glinch, glitch, sorry, after, but there was a huge cost to this. It was a new
Starting point is 01:31:25 trend on TikTok. It looks like Chuck fraud. They said that, it is, it is. It people deposit fake checks for large sums of money and then it would credit some of the sham deposits to their accounts before the checks cleared. That's not a glitch. That's fraud. Let's not redefine stuff. Stick with us. We've got more to come. Subscribe to the Dana Show podcast because who says you can't make fun of people while staying informed on your own personal time? Starting point is 01:31:55 A lot of the English owned the coal mines. And what they did was they'd really beat the hell out of the mostly Catholic population that was in the minds. Not a joke, not a joke. But there was a group that called the Mala Maguire. And the Mala Maguire, if they find out the foreman who was taking advantage of an individual, and they literally kill them. Not a joke. And they bring him the body up and put him on the doorstep of his family. Kind of crude. But I got to admit, they accused my great-grandfather being a model where he wasn't. But we were so damn disappointed. What?
Starting point is 01:32:37 Okay, so if you guys don't know, this is like Americana, like folklore, the Molly McGuire. That's what he's talking about. He wants to be a Kennedy so bad. We were talking about this on break. Welcome back. Dana Lash with you, bottom of this third hour. The Molly McGuire's word like this. Secret Society.
Starting point is 01:32:57 The, you know, fact. are up to interpretation, essentially. And it was like a secret society and they were active, like, in parts of the UK and obviously Ireland and in Pennsylvania. And they, particularly amongst like those who work in the mines, et cetera. And some of the activities that they were accused of doing may not have been a legal. But anyway, he was like, well, it turns out he wasn't a Molly McGuire. And that's a shit. What? What is he talking about? He doesn't know either. He just desperately is, trying to he he wants to he's trying to like fabricate some kind of you know folklore or whatever for his family and himself it's just weird he does the weirdest stuff stop it dude just we it's weird but that's what Biden's been doing do they have to this was after he had two weeks of vacation yeah fully rested he only did one campaign event with Harris and then that was it now they'll probably send him on vacation again. They had a photo of him that they put out when they were discussing the issue with the Hamas negotiations or stupid, no negotiations with them first off, but
Starting point is 01:34:15 that's what they were presenting it as and the news of the terror, the, the American hostage at the hands of the terrorist. But he tells this story. He was in Pittsburgh when he was talking about this. Just a weird, weird, well, I don't know. I mean, George Clooney said he's like the George Washington of our time. He said he talked about a final Gaza hostage deal. This was a quick six-second clip, but he did state this. Listen. Are you planning to present a final hostage deal to the both sides of the suite? We're very close to that. I mean, unless it includes releasing everyone and then stopping the terrorism, then no. That's the ceasefire. Stop being terrorists and stop holding hostages. That's the ceasefire. That's what that is. Yeah, that's, that's, that's all that needs to be.
Starting point is 01:35:12 This is what Netanyahu said. Audio, yeah, audio somebody 21. Hamas is continuing to stepfastly refuse all proposals. Even worse, at the exact same time, it murdered six of our hostages. Whoever murders hostages, not want a deal for our part we will not relent the government of israel is committed and i am personally committed to continue so and why should they i mean did you see the newest thing that hamas has been doing so the the hostages that they they've killed they've been they've been releasing video and then like these comic book style images of them to taunt their families the
Starting point is 01:35:58 funerals that took place on Sunday and Monday, Hamas said that they were going to drip feed footage that they described as the final messages of the remaining five. And it's, I mean, it is. It's psychological terrorism. They're not interested in a deal. I can't believe we're almost a year out from this. Almost a year out from this. They are not interested in a deal.
Starting point is 01:36:24 You are not going to get any new hostages. You will not get any hostages back alive. they're not going to be they I mean this this ends with the complete obliteration of Hamas and that's the only way anybody who says otherwise is not serious they want destruction and more loss of life in Gaza the place that elected Hamas in the first place so that's the that's the only reason just it's just crazy just it's and these I mean that's that is can you imagine you're you're having the funeral services and this terrorist group is drip feeding footage of your loved ones final moments to the press. And yet they have the audacity to act as though they're the underdogs in this?
Starting point is 01:37:10 No. A couple of things. I want to change it up. The FBI's charged a former top A to Kathy Hockel and Cuomo, Inter Cuomo, with being a Chinese agent. They raided this woman's house that comes in New York. It's Linda's son and her husband, Chris Hu. They were taken into custody on Tuesday in Long Island. They raided their mansion. She is accused of enriching herself and her family by acting as an undisclosed agent of the Chinese Communist Party, according to federal prosecutors. They had a sprawling indictment. They charged her with blocking representatives of the Taiwanese government from having access to any high-level New York state officers. and changing messaging on issues that involved the CCP. They also claim that she used the proceeds of her illegal work
Starting point is 01:38:04 to buy her million dollar home in Long Island, a multi-million dollar condo in Hawaii and a Ferrari. So she's been living the high life. And they've laundered the proceeds. They're charged with money laundering, the proceeds of their illegal activities, conspiracy to commit bank fraud, misuse of identification.
Starting point is 01:38:28 They appeared in court today. 63-page indictment. They said that they received improper benefits and they were being paid off with the CCP. So another, these are high-ranking Democrats that have Chinese spies working for them. Remember, you had Diane Feinstein, who had one as a driver,
Starting point is 01:38:50 Eric Swalwell slept with one. Who was the other one? There's another Chinese operative. She had Feinstein, that one, and then this one. Yeah. So, so far that's what we know. Yeah. So they had Andrew Cuomo.
Starting point is 01:39:02 Apparently, she held posts in his administration. And as Kathy Hochels as well. She was appointed the deputy chief of staff for Hokul. They said she was in that role for about 15 months. And then she moved to a new job at the Department of Labor, where she was the deputy commissioner for strategic business development. Now think about this. She's driving a Ferrari and she works in a government position. Does that make sense?
Starting point is 01:39:29 I mean, at some point, you know, and they have multiple homes. Wait, how deep does this underground Chinese spy ring go with the Democrats? Because it was an accident that we found out about the Swalwell one. It was completely by accident about the Diane Feinstein one too. And now this one. Yeah. Yep. Yep. Yep. It's a great question.
Starting point is 01:39:50 Who knows? Was spy balloons and land being bought up near military? basis? Who knows? What is going on? Who knows? They said that the job that she was in, New York Department of Labor, she left that job. She was there for apparently four months. She was the deputy commissioner for strategic business development, apparently. Hmm. So how many Chinese businesses were approved during that time? We don't know those answers, Kane. You mean ask questions of Democrats? Democrats and they're appointed, you know, I know, we're going to watch this story. I'll make sure I put this in your rundown. I've got to share this one with you. It's kind of crazy. And I'm trying to figure out how to approach this one. So everybody knows the website, OnlyFans. I've never been there, but I just know that it exists because of the jokes. So apparently some of these broads on OnlyFans, they were accused, this is the most, the irony here. They're being accused of pretending to be trans women.
Starting point is 01:40:54 to make money on the platform. So they apparently put a video up and it said just two boys being silly with a trans flag on it. And then how do I say this? They had on boxer shorts and they gave themselves the fake appearance of a male copulatory organ. And the trans-tifah got real mad. And they said that you are pretending to be trans to grift. So wait a minute. The dudes pretending to be women are mad because there are women pretending to be men.
Starting point is 01:41:44 So the dudes pretending to be women to grift are mad that the women are grifting off of pretending to be men. They're pretending to be men who are pretending to be women technically. Yeah. Oh my gosh. But guess what? It's all pretend. It's, it is all pretend.
Starting point is 01:42:03 Every single bit of it. This is like getting so invested in like a, like a television show or a movie that the characters actually upset you. It's that bad because it's all pretend. It's all pretend. So how can you get so they're, I mean, they're like, they're trying to get them canceled. You know, they said these, uh, they're fake and the trans communities up in arms. They're apparently being threatened with violence because that's what trans Tifa does. You go.
Starting point is 01:42:28 It's funny. The way they found out was they were too beautiful for them to believe that they were actually men. They're too pretty for people to believe that they're dudes. That's right. Because they're not dudes, clearly. And they don't have any mounds in their necks. Proves nobody's fooling anyone. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:42:44 Yeah. I mean, and so the trans people got mad because they, you're too pretty to pretend to be a dude. Just let that simmer for a minute. When is in the world? I can't even believe this is the reality. of news today. That's news. That's where we're at. Now, they had death threats and all kinds of I don't know if they're going to get their account suspended, but they've, the whole community has been up and armed. This has been like the big thing all weekend in their little community.
Starting point is 01:43:15 They don't see it. They don't see. How do you not? But who are they to tell them that they can't? What if they are women who, they're women who want to pretend to be men who are pretending to be. Who are pretending to be. women. Why can't they do that? I don't know why the left has to be so oppressive. Why can't it work like that? No, no, no, hold up. Why doesn't it work that way? You can't just, you don't get, they don't get to be gaykeepers. You can't just, oh, I'm a man who wants to pretend to be a woman. Okay, they're a woman who want to pretend to be men who are pretending to be women.
Starting point is 01:43:49 I'll take it. I'm a woman pretending to be a man who's pretending to be a woman who's actually a man. We're in Tropic Thunder right now. This is where we're at. This is leveled tropic thunder. I can't get over the story. This is so funny. So again, there are women pretending to be dudes who are pretending to be women
Starting point is 01:44:14 and the trans Tifa are all mad about it. By the way, can you say training anymore? Is that a word that one can say? Well, you just did. So I think so. No, I'm just curious because I just remember like in the 90s,
Starting point is 01:44:26 they even said it. Like the people who would say that they were... That's true. But I think they do like with midget. You can't say I have to say little people. people now and it's like with that. But what is the difference between trans and tranee? Are you talking about mechanics? I know. I just don't understand why the like letters like mere three letters like makes it like or okay or okay. I don't, you know, this is also damn stupid. People have
Starting point is 01:44:51 so much time on their hands. They invent things to get offended about. All the pretending and I got to pretend that I cared about all this stuff. Yeah. Like I want to pretend about stuff too. And I want to force people into making it real. Right? Like maybe we can get that yacht after all. You know what I'm saying? Like a real one, not Marco Rubio's little boat. Just saying, all right, we got more on the way. Oh, one other thing before we go. You know how Tim Walsh was saying that he was, that he was in labor, what was he saying? He's on the labor union's pocket. He is the pocket. And it reminded me, we're going to start calling him Mr. Pocket. If you've ever seen the ballot of Buster Scruggs by the Coen Brothers. It is like a series of
Starting point is 01:45:32 Western vignettes that are all tied together. It's one of the most brilliant, like Western themed. It's a series. It's a film. It's hysterical and brilliant and really smartly done. But Tom Wade is in it. And he plays this prospector and he finds
Starting point is 01:45:48 this parcel of land and there's gold on it and he's trying to find this pocket of gold and he keeps calling out Mr. Pocket. So he's out there talking to it. Anyway, long story short, it made me think of that. So I'm going to start calling Tim Walls, Mr. Pocket. Just, you know, Yeah, exactly. All right, we go.
Starting point is 01:46:03 Make some common sense of the crazy headlines with the Dana Show podcast. You're on the go guide for getting up to speed on today's most important stories. Subscribe on YouTube, Apple, or your favorite podcast platform. This guy just doesn't get you or your life at all. I don't think you could tell us what the difference is between a flyhead and a Phillips head screwdriver. You know what I'm saying? I don't think you can tell the difference between a man and a woman, And so that's probably a bigger concern for the America, don't you think so?
Starting point is 01:46:33 I mean, you know, you got the flat, obviously, and then the Phillips, which is like, I'm trying to figure out. It's like an asterisk. I'll just say it like that. It's the easiest way to describe it for the layman's. It's a cross, but it looks like an asterisk. Like, think. Anyway, welcome back. That was big grutch.
Starting point is 01:46:49 You can't make fun to other people when you can't even say what's a dude and what's a woman. Right? I mean, that's, like, what's the? What's the point? Good heavens. I had, so we were asking, because we had this story, the women pretending to be dudes pretending to be women for clicks,
Starting point is 01:47:14 they made the trans-Tifa mafia, the dudes pretending to be women, big mad. Here's my question about that. So you guys know what intersectionality is. That's if you have a bunch of grievance, if you have a grievance, or basically it's your way of saying that I have something I can be discriminated against.
Starting point is 01:47:28 and the more that you have, like that's the greater, the intersectionality, that's what it means. So I would think that, bear with me, the women pretending to be dudes pretending to be women, that's an extra layer of pretend compared to just dudes pretending to be women. So that's only two, that's only one layer of pretend, where women pretending to be dudes pretending to be women is two layers of pretend. So that's an additional layer of intersectionality. Isn't that like a plus 25 intersectionality buff? Isn't it? Why doesn't that work here? Make it work. Apply it to the skill tree. Make it work. Why isn't that working?
Starting point is 01:48:08 All right. Go ahead. Today's stupidity. Otherwise, I'm literally going to just talk over all of it. It'll be Kamala Harris one, just so you know. Kamala, this was right after the DNC. Nobody put this stuff out. But in context of what we've been seeing lately, I think this is important. Let's hear what she has to say. He has lost his privileges and it should be taken down. And the bottom line is that you can't say that you have one rule for Facebook and you have a different. rule for Twitter. The same rule has to apply, which is that there has to be a responsibility that is placed on these social media sites to understand their power. Who's going to do that? They are directly speaking to millions and millions of people without any level of oversight. Oh, man. Yeah, okay. Yeah, I don't think so. Folks, that does it for us today.
