Starting point is 00:00:00 We had Charlie Kirk assassinated and so many folks celebrated in the far left. We've had two Democrats threatened to murder two of our delegates running for office in Virginia. And now Jay Jones comes out and says that he has two bullets for Todd Gilbert's head and wants to see his children die. I mean, this is unbelievable. And what's shocking also is that after calling for the normal apology, the Democrat candidates, Abigail Spamberger and the rest of them, were out campaigning this weekend like it was nothing. They have got to call for this guy to resign, step down, get out of this race in disgrace, because this is beyond disqualifying. Well, I mean, you would think that it's beyond disqualifying.
Starting point is 00:00:50 And of course, these are different rules because it's D different, Kane. They're different rules and it's always been like this. and now with the increase in app, well, I don't want to, I think that's the best way to put it, this increase in rhetoric and violent sentiment, if you, if Democrats are not going to corral their own, then they're sending a clear message to everyone who is not them, that they believe that this is an acceptable form of, disagreement. They're telegraphing that all of this violence, everything that we have seen is okay, that it's all okay because they're not going to see anything about it. It's just going to go. They're never going to say anything about it. It's going to be just considered, well, it's accepted. Oh, they're Democrat. That's to be accepted. Is it, though? Because this has been going on for so long now. everyone else is getting to see what I think people on the right have dealt with for so long.
Starting point is 00:02:05 And these text messages, which we're going to dive into here, this is just like the latest example. The Democrats are fully behind their Dem nominee, Jay Jones. So welcome to the program. I tell you, we've got already a very weird news week. We are at the top of this first hour. The chats at Rumble, you can watch us do the radio program, Channel 347 on DirecTV. I also noticed, too, I'm going to pull this up, that there was pretty much a media blackout of these texts. Now, if you don't know what happened, if you live under a rock, or if you're just not a nerd and you haven't been paying, you haven't been online, you don't live online, you don't have to follow the news as part of your job, then maybe you've seen these texts, they're pretty bad.
Starting point is 00:03:03 They're incredibly bad. And they are between the Democrat selection, he was talking with another lawmaker. And I just, I was reading these texts where he was saying bad things about his opponents. If these guys die before me, I will go to the funerals to blank on their grave. Send them out awash in something. And he said three people, two bullets, Gilbert, Hitler, and Pol Pot. Gilbert gets two bullets to the head. He says, spoiler, put Gilbert, I can't believe, I mean, it's just unhinged. He goes, spoiler alert, or spoiler. He says, put Gilbert in the crew with the two worst people you know, and he receives both bullets every time. I mean, this is, and then he started talking, kept going on about Gilbert's family.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Now, this is a Republican state legislator who got these, and these were early in the morning, text messages. They were super early in the morning, and it was August 8th that this was happening. And Juan's showing you these texts right now. And the lawmaker, he had been, he had recently resigned after he had represented. in Norfolk and he had, you know, obviously demnob to run for AG. And he was in a tizzy over a Republican lawmaker named Todd Gilbert. He's a House Speaker for Virginia, right? Republican lawmaker. And he did not appreciate, and I guess I don't even know if you can call that venting. That's just, that's an unhinged. And he decided to take out his angst in these text messages, which have now gone
Starting point is 00:04:55 public. About 8 a.m. actually it was before 8 a.m. He decided that he was upset with House Speaker Gilbert, who had begun making statements about public statements honoring this other lawmakers' memory, etc. And he had said, oh, Southwest, no one in Southwest, Virginia shook Morgan's. It's a guy who's a delegate named Joe Johnson. So he's talking about him, you know, saying nice things. And then he just this, and then Jay Jones just starts going off. 8 a.m. He starts sharing these feelings with a former state legislative colleague, Carrie Coiner. And now the texts are all over. He derided the delegates who they are speaking of, the guy that they were honoring in Memorial. He said that he was, he derided his centristism, his centrism. And he said that the global.
Starting point is 00:05:49 tributes were ridiculous, et cetera, et cetera. And he said, I doubt, you know, these people would say this about me if this, you know, if this happened to me. And then he started in on if these guys died before me. So how that, that's how it got set up. And this, now these text exchanges, this was August 8th, 2022. I don't know why they're just being made public now. I mean, obviously he's running for AG and you have an incumbent Republican AG. And, but the fact that Jay Jones brought this lawmakers kids into it is just insane. This is, this is from 22. He, he talked about breeding little fascist when he was talking about Republicans to his former colleague. He was also, by the way, in 2022, according to the Richmond Times dispatch, he was convicted in a reckless driving case. He was
Starting point is 00:06:39 driving 116 miles per hour, nearly 50 miles per hour above the speed limit. So he got a $1,500 fine, a thousand hours of community service, etc. But then he marked 500 of those hours. So he had, again, a thousand hours of community service that he was supposed to fulfill. 500 of them, he marked working on his campaign as community service.
Starting point is 00:07:02 That's insane because most people go to jail for a year and they're prohibited possessors over something like that. He has like no prosecutorial experience, but I think that other people are just like, he's nuts. He's literally, he is a hot, he's a hot,
Starting point is 00:07:17 temper, he's a ticking time bomb. What in the hell is wrong with someone's mental state that they get so mad over seeing tributes posted online to this to this delegate that he decides to go in and start talking about the guy's kids and all this other stuff? And I mean, good night. He said, only when people feel pain personally do they move on policy because he was talking about the lawmaker's wife, Jennifer Gilberts, etc. And that's what he said to Kerry Coiner. Yeah, I told you this before. Only when people feel pain personally do they move on
Starting point is 00:07:57 policy. And the Democrats, do you think that the Democrats in any way, did they decide to say, wow, this guy's a nut job? We can't have him. We can't have him as our nominee for AG. No, they didn't do that. They fully back him. They issued a statement where they, quote, reaffirmed their full support of Jay Jones for Attorney General. And they called on all Virginians to line up behind Jay Jones. They said they literally said the Virginia Beach Democratic Committee reaffirms its full support of Jay Jones for Attorney General. We are lined up, ten toes down. But do you have like more than that ready to organize, mobilize and deliver votes for Jay and our entire Democrat ticket. And I'm, this is what gets me. They said they deserve a, Virginians deserve a leader who learns,
Starting point is 00:08:44 grows and stands for everyday people. Jay is that leader. Okay. Is he the leader, though? I want you to again reconsider this guy's hot temper. The fact that he's got nailed on aggressive driving already and he was able to skirt past the more serious penalty, which would have rendered him a prohibited possessor. And these texts that he sent where he gets so mad, he even starts talking about killing the other lawmakers' kids. you want this guy to be the top cop for Virginia? Do you trust Jay Jones to head up a case against you? Does anyone think that they're going to get a fair shake from a guy who said, who talks about people who simply made him mad over tributes? Quote, I will go to their funerals to blink on their graves, three people, two bullets, Gilbert, Hitler, and Pol Pot,
Starting point is 00:09:42 and then starts talking about their kids. Coiner said, you were talking about hoping Jennifer Gilbert's children would die. Jay Jones, yes. I've told you this before. Only when people feel pain personally do they move on policy. He said they were evil and he called their children, quote, little fascists. Democrats are backing a candidate who has openly discussed murdering children because their parents are Republican, called them little. fascist and talked about putting bullets in people's heads.
Starting point is 00:10:22 By the way, I thought Democrats were really big on gun control and all that stuff. Democrats want to put, just to reaffirm this, Democrats want to put a guy in the Attorney General's office in Virginia who talks about shooting children. Does everybody understand that? And Virginia Democrats have said they back him anyway. Virginia Democrats want children to be shot. Virginia Democrats think it's okay for political violence. You cannot tell me that this is a both sides thing.
Starting point is 00:10:59 The bullets are only ever coming one way. I am just, there is no unifying with these people. None. And I think Republicans should double down on the harshness, frankly. I mean, this is absolutely inexcusable. We have more on it. Also, lawlessness and disorder. An Oregon judge has issued a second TRO on Trump's National Guard deployment.
Starting point is 00:11:30 So there's a lot of movement over the weekend about this, if you've been following. They have National Guard also being sent to Charlotte. They have Guard being mobilized for California, elsewhere. It's a big, this is a big deal trying to get crime under control. Trump deployed California's National Guard that's under federal control to Portland. And Portland then filed that second TRO. And they are going back and forth, back and forth in the courts. So we're going to talk about this. We're also going to get into this Gaza and peace deal that apparently Gaza, Hamas is saying, okay, well, maybe we'll release some of these hostages here. We're going to talk about what this means and a lot more here coming up as we move. We have our partners that help bring. you the program. Starting point is 00:13:17 That's noblegoldinvestments.com slash Dana. That's noble goldinvestments.com slash Dana. And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five. A New Jersey-bound plane was forced to divert after an unruly passenger wearing over a dozen face masks. Like on his face, over a dozen. On Seth Evans' well, Seth Evans is the fellow passenger. He's the guy who told the Minnesota Star Tribune that this guy,
Starting point is 00:13:47 was wearing over a dozen face masks. I don't even know how that happens. And that he just immediately started screaming after the plane took off for Newark. It landed in Chicago because the guy began screaming and the plane was going down. It was total chaos. Then he said he was being gang chased by gay people and that he was being radiated and cooked by the gays and that the gays were giving him the cancer. I don't know if it was like specifically gay cancer or just like regular kind. And he was wearing no less the quote from the guy, no less than 15 masks over his mouth.
Starting point is 00:14:22 And yeah, I, man. And then after they got him buckled down, he played some candy crush. Just, I don't know, I love that that's like a big component of the article. I'm like, oh, well, it changes the tone of everything, I guess. Mark Sanchez, former quarterback
Starting point is 00:14:39 and NFL commentator, was arrested after a stabbing in Indianapolis. So there's a stabbing incident early Saturday morning. according to local law enforcement, the Indianapolis Metro Police Department, they released a statement saying that he was stabbed, Sanchez was stabbed just after midnight. And then they said that they arrested him for his alleged role in the incident. This is like a very confusing story. But then it gets even more confusing. So Twitchy has this rundown if you want to dive down the rabbit hole.
Starting point is 00:15:08 So he's in the hospital. And they said he was stabbed. He's in the hospital in stable condition. And everyone was wishing him, you know, best wishes. And then they said, they had also arrested him while he was at the hospital for battery with injury, unlawful injury of a motor vehicle in public intoxication. Apparently, he was the aggressor in the incident that led to him being stabbed. The report said that it began when he confronted a 69-year-old food delivery driver over a parking space. And then apparently, according to the driver in police, Sanchez began to beat him. The man tried to escape, used pepper spray.
Starting point is 00:15:40 That didn't work. And then he said it used a knife in self-defense. Police reviewed the security camera footage and said that the man, has facial injuries too and it's all consistent. His story is consistent. So he's being charged with all kinds of stuff. It's not worth your life, guys. It is not worth your life. Taylor Swift's article is being hailed as a masterpiece of cringe. I just want to know why she ripped off Pam Anderson because Pam Anderson did the last showgirl and totally nailed it. And now Taylor Swift is doing the showgirls. I don't know. I'm just, I haven't heard it. I'm not going to pass judgment.
Starting point is 00:16:14 It's just not my jam. And I don't want to invest. validate music just because I don't think it's my jam and think that it's bad just because it's not my particular style. But I don't know. All the women of the world are fighting over it and I can't find anything that I could care less about other than this store. I really don't. Apparently, marine mammals are dying in record numbers on the California coast. Everything is being blamed but California and California's pollution and Gavin Newsom and algae blooms and heat blobs and all kinds of stuff. We have a lot more on the way. Stick with us. Chapter is one of those entities. And look, this is a win-win for you. You hear it's, what is it, Medicare enrollment season. It's like now you know the seasons.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Thanks, you know, Thanksgiving, you got Christmas season, your fall season, your spring. It's Medicare enrollment season as well. If you don't even need Medicare, you are paying attention to it because you hear all these ads for it all the time. So this is where chapter comes in because it can be very, very confusing with us. Medicare plans, they can change. every single year. So even if you're happy with your current plan, you still have to check to see what's coming out in 2026. And if you do not review your options, you could lose coverage that you depend on. So this is why I recommend calling chapter. Chapter reviews every plan nationwide to make sure that you're not over paying. And on average, they can save people over $1,000 a year. Chapter stands out because
Starting point is 00:17:37 their advisors are salary. And they advocate for you, not for the insurance companies. And nobody wants the hassles of dealing with more calls or stress, but Chapter can check out your options quickly in under 20 minutes. So if you could save yourself a year's worth of hassle, just in under 20 minutes on the phone with Chapter, that sounds like a good deal. So if your current plan is still the best fit, you're all set. If not, they can help you switch. There's no gimmicks, no pressure, just honest advice from experts who know Medicare inside and out. It's so easy. Under 20 minutes, Remember, dial pound 250 and say the keyword, my Medicare. Say both of those words.
Starting point is 00:18:15 Dial pound 250 and say, my Medicare. Medicare's too important, so don't risk it. Work with a partner you can trust. That's chapter. pound 250, keyword, my Medicare. Should property taxes just come to an end? Truly owning your own home shouldn't be a piggy bank for government to extract revenue. Property taxes will forever make you not an owner.
Starting point is 00:18:35 Just nothing more than a surf on the Lord's Manor. the watchdog on wall street podcast on apple spotify wherever you get your podcast the danish show podcast your fast funny and informative news companion for those always on the move subscribe on youtube apple or wherever you get your podcasts a stand up to an administration which is two male two pale and two stale is wine yeah jail two jail two male to pale two male the holy grail on a rail with the snail on a boat with a sail. I mean, how else can we do this? So that's, that's, hold up, hold up, I forgot our name for a half second. Latisha James, the New York AG. That sounds kind of racist. R-A-Y-S-I-S-R-A-S-R-A-S. Pretty sure that's, can you imagine?
Starting point is 00:19:42 Oh my gosh, if you had a white lawmaker that got up there and was, I don't know what the, I got to reverse it on my mind. and said that, but in reverse. Oh my gosh. Kane and I are just going, we're looking at each other. Like, dare we even make the jokes? I mean, we don't even know. I really want to.
Starting point is 00:20:03 People get upset over everything nowadays. That, too male, too stale and too pale. So he's, so she's sexist and a racist. Leticia James is a giant racist. She is an app. She came after me once and tried to subpoena me. And I'm like, you're not going to get a judge in Texas. It's going to let that happen.
Starting point is 00:20:24 Slick, ain't going to work. It's, that's racist. That, I can't believe a lawmaker says that. This is 2025. My mind is just like doing flips right now. Kane, there would be rioting if that was in reverse. Oh, my gosh. Absolutely would be.
Starting point is 00:20:47 I mean, my head's just going, I'm almost short-circuiting, thinking of all the things that would burn. I mean, everything would burn. And all, I mean, oh my gosh. Oh, man. Good job with the tone there, Democrats. It's too male. He's too.
Starting point is 00:21:03 Well, she's too female. She's too. Stale, what does that even mean? Old, I guess. She's trying to say he's an old pale male. And then they chanted it. Like, that wasn't, it wasn't enough just for the AG to say it. Then the whole crowd's like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:22 racist words racist chants yeah racism I mean oh my gosh you guys are in a cult you it's the dangerous thing in the world the pale people they act like uh what were they called on uh game of thrones came the ice zombies the white walkers wasn't that what they were called yeah the white walkers or the others they act like were the Ice zombies from Game of Thrones. It just doesn't make any sense to me. But that was Letitia James. Went well for her, right? So consider this, just if you would, please.
Starting point is 00:22:05 Because it's been such a weird weekend with the news cycle. A friend of mine had made the observation that, you know, if you're not conservative, please just consider a couple things here. you have a major state candidate, a nominee for AG in Virginia. I cannot underscore the importance of that position. Attorney General, top cop can do whatever he wants to do to you and you can't touch him. Exposed because he sent texts to an opponent, literally verbatim, calling for the death of another conservative candidate. And he wrote, he even talked about killing their young children. And then he decides to
Starting point is 00:23:00 respond by condemning the conservative candidate for noticing these texts that have come out where he fetishizes murdering the guy's kids. So that's number one. Then can we talk for a minute about this insane story with because we're talking about the leftist the left's culture of violence the Kavanaugh assassin I know you guys saw this this story over the weekend it is truly stunning I think what people can get away with this guy Nicholas Roski Roski he I mean I'm it's amazing that this is a story he got a shorter sentence for trying to kill Brett Kavanaugh because he's trans. And the media has been describing him as a woman, an actual woman.
Starting point is 00:24:08 The judge said of the convicts mom that affirmed his gender identity, quote, I am heartened that this terrible infraction has helped the Roski family accept their daughter for who she is. It's a literal dude. He's an actual man. who did this. And he was supposed to go up. He was, I mean, I just, he was supposed to have a much harsher sentence, and I have no idea how this didn't happen. He got a shorter sentence than the guy that the judge sentenced last month for a wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.
Starting point is 00:24:48 A guy submitted fraudulent cares act on employment insurance claims and wow. So Nicholas Roski got 97 months in prison. that's what his lawyers asked for. Sentencing guidelines called for 30 years per Luke Rosiac. But she pretty much undid most of the terrorism enhancement. He could be, this guy could be out in four years. Out in four years. Deborah Bordman is the judge who was appointed by Joe Biden.
Starting point is 00:25:12 This is the guy that Juan is showing you on the simulcast if you're watching the radio show. That NBC News and all of the media have called a woman. That's a whole woman. Yeah, you're supposed to think that that's, a woman. I am amazed by this. And one of the things that they were considering with it, he says he goes by, he, the guy insists that he goes by the name Sophie, all the mainstream media outlets are indulging him. A guy from California, remember, he tried to kill Brett Kavanaugh. And he only recently ever began identifying as a woman. And this is where it's even like trickier.
Starting point is 00:25:56 Daily Wire had this piece back at the beginning of the month where they get into how he now identifies as transgender, according to legal filings, right? So the guy who attempted to kill Kavanaugh was saying that he, oh, I'm a woman now. They, the court documents that were obtained by Daily Wire, and this is right before sentencing. This is all very recent. I feel like he just decided to do this to try to get a lighter sentence. He only got eight years. He was supposed to get 30.
Starting point is 00:26:24 And he got eight years. The guy was like had all kinds of implements to like murder a million ways, Brett Kavanaugh, in addition to his firearm that he illegally obtained. 97 months in prison, eight years in one month. And the judge said that she felt that Roski had shown remorse for his actions. And then she referred to Roski as a woman and said he should, she referred, she ordered him to a lifetime of supervised release. and he has not even changed his name legally. So this is the other thing that's really weird to me.
Starting point is 00:27:03 He has not even changed his name legally. He just asked to be called Sophie. And the judge decided to comply and indulge him. Cain, if you went to court and you decided to change your name but not change it legally and you ask the court to, can you identify me by this made up thing I'm identifying only as recently, how do you think that would go for you? They'd be like, no, your legal name, sir. But he gets, this is like a, again, two tiers of justice. He's getting special assistance because he's pretending to be a woman.
Starting point is 00:27:39 And he even admitted he wanted to reshape the Supreme Court in 2022. I mean, I am, wow. The guy he was going to break into Kevin Al's home, kill him, and then kill himself. And he was charged under his legal name. but I don't know if they're going to go back and change the documents or what and try to call him back by the same. Because now the judge is referring to him as a different name and a different sex. They wanted 30 years in prison. He was going to, he was going to break in, restrain, and kill him.
Starting point is 00:28:17 And some of the implements and other reporting, he was going to torture him. He took a cab directly from the airport to Kavanaugh's house. and it wasn't until he saw Kavanaugh's U.S. Marshals detail that he began walking away. This is the other thing that makes me mad. The judge said, let me pull this quote up, the judge was crediting him for walking away, literally credited him in her remarks for walking. The only reason he walked away is because there were armed marshals stationed outside of Kavanaugh's house. That is the only reason this guy walked.
Starting point is 00:28:55 He didn't walk because he had a change of heart. didn't walk because he grew a conscience. He walked because he saw that there were armed U.S. marshals outside of Brett Kavanaugh's house. That's the only reason why he walked away. It wasn't because he suddenly turned into a good guy. That's just, I felt like this judge was babying him this entire time. Well, I mean, I don't feel like that. That's what, that's what this judge has done. So instead of 30 years, he gets eight years. And, then now, you know, they are indulging him. She also said, too, that she doesn't pose,
Starting point is 00:29:38 she doesn't view him as a risk to public safety. But I don't, I don't understand that because you said he should have supervised release. So what does that even mean? This judge is all over the place. She's a garbage judge. This is just a really, just a bad judge. And I, I'm just, I'm kind of, I mean, It just is amazing the lawlessness and disorder from this.
Starting point is 00:30:13 And there's, I mean, so think about this. This case, then you have the case, as we were talking about, the Virginia Democrat AG nominee who had all of these evil texts talking about killing someone else's kids is horrible. And then you have more attacks against federal immigration officers. In Illinois, the governor called them, quote, Jack Booted Thugs. J.B. Pritzker is, he's chomping at the bit to create a national fight between himself and Trump, right? He, I think, is feeling a little jealous of Gavin Newsom. And so he's trying to put himself in that position. He called them, quote, Jack Booted Thud, thugs.
Starting point is 00:31:03 and Secwar and Potus have ordered National Guard troops to go out and protect ice agents that are under assault. Pritzker has sued to try to stop it. And then you have attacks on federal vehicles with rocks and bottles in Chicago. Local police were told to stand down. I don't know if you, some of the video I can't play because, I mean, it's just F word, F word, screaming it.
Starting point is 00:31:33 And all you'll be able to, I mean, you can just, you know, they're hitting them with destroying vehicles, attacking ICE agents, etc. So I want you to think of all of this. All of this literally has happened within the past several days that it's come out to say nothing of what happened last month. And then the attacks on ICE agents, the attempts on POTUS, this culture of violence on the left, and then Democrats had a chance. They had a chance in Virginia to make an example
Starting point is 00:32:09 of how to control the tone on their own side because they are demanding that Trump, you need to control your tone. They're demanding that J.D. Vance, he has to control his tone, all of these lawmakers. But when it comes to cleaning up their own side, they backed J. Jones.
Starting point is 00:32:29 They offered no condemnation of a single one of his remarks. Not a single one. Culture of violence indeed. We have more, a lot more. Our partners that bring you the program, it's the folks over at Relief Factor. Relief Factor is great to help target your body's

Starting point is 00:34:04 Like Sands Through the Outerglass. So are the days of the United States. And here's the other thing that is quite unprecedented. And it was the tightest, closest presidential... I can't say that with a microphone. Uh, yeah, I can't... Huh. Uh, anyway, that's...
Starting point is 00:34:44 She's pulling the Stacey Abrams energy here. Is she ever sober anymore? Well, would you be if you were Kamala Harris? If I woke up every day... as Kamala Harris, I'd be like, what can I do to alter my reality today? That's a good point. I mean, I would trans myself right out of that reality. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:35:03 She's, that's not helpful. And he does have a mandate because you got whooped. She got whooped. There's not enough O's available to emphasize the and the whooped. There's not enough. She was legitimately beaten into a hole in the ground. And he absolutely does have a mandate. And that's what happens when you lose a lot of.
Starting point is 00:35:22 elections. You don't. So coming up, there's CBS people or the veterans are freaking out. CBS news vets, not actual veterans. These people never saw anything other than fighting over a parking spot. But they are upset that Barry Weiss is taking over news there and they're threatening. Don't you touch our 60 minutes. We've got that. We've got lawlessness and disorder and the latest in Virginia. Stick with us. Our friends at, it's the folks at Burnagun. I, look, I have zero problem throwing lead down range. I've told you this a million times. I have zero issue using the lethal force to protect myself or my loved ones.
Starting point is 00:36:00 It's just not even up for debate. But I also realize, too, that it's important to have diversity in terms of what you have for weapons. And whether it's municipal or private property restrictions, blah, blah, blah, you guys know the drill. You have different calibers. You have blades. I just think that it's smart to incorporate something when everything else is trying to disarm you
Starting point is 00:36:20 so you can still have a means of defending yourself. Burn a gun shoots chemical irritant projectiles that can deter threats from up to 50 feet away. And they've got, I think it's like, what, 15 rounds in one of their cartridges, whereas think about regular stun guns. You got regular stun guns, you've got like one or two rounds. That's it. But with burn a gun, you've got a 15-round shock capacity per cartridge.
Starting point is 00:36:42 There's no recoil. Everything's made right here in the US of A, and it does not care about gun-free zone signs. So if you're a college student who's allowed by age of 18 to go in a foreign land and carry a full auto in defense of your country, but you can't legally carry a firearm here while living in a town and going to college in defense of yourself. Burn a gun, and gun might be an option for you. Doesn't care about gun-free zone signs.
Starting point is 00:37:01 There are zero background checks. They can be shipped right to your front door. There's no special fees. It's accessible to everybody. The CL, the compact launcher, is the best one. And it's perfect for this particular situation. Visit burna.com slash Dana. It's the Burna-C-L.
Starting point is 00:37:17 B-Y-R-NA.com slash Dana. Coming up, an Attorney General candidate in Virginia is apologizing for his texts about a state lawmaker. We'll go through what the message is said. He should probably be forced to withdraw from the rest and probably is doing a lot there. All right, morning, Joe, we'll be right back. Probably is doing a lot there. You know that hurt Joe Scarborough so bad to say that. He probably should, wait, if I talk about them, are they going to accuse me of stalking them on air again hyperbolicly?
Starting point is 00:37:45 Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you. We're at the top of the second hour. this is I think a major story and I think it's a watershed moment particularly in the context of political violence and rhetoric and all of the stuff that we have been seen on the left top of this second hour chat is at rumble channel 347 is the way you can watch the radio program and we read you some of these texts we threw them up on the screen for you they were obtained I don't know two news age are arguing over who got what first. But long story short is that the Democrat candidate for Attorney General sent these texts about a political opponent, wherein he fantasized about murdering a state Republican lawmaker with, quote, two bullets to the head, urinating on the graves of other Republicans. And then he called their children little fascists and even
Starting point is 00:38:48 suggested killing their children. One, the lawmaker that he wrote to, she was trying to correct him. She said, you weren't trying to understand. You were talking about hoping Jennifer Gilbert's children would die. Jay Jones wrote, quote,
Starting point is 00:39:04 yes. I've told you this before. Only when people feel pain personally. Do they move on policy? He said that the Democrat called the that he was talking about evil and, quote, breeding little fascists.
Starting point is 00:39:23 He was in reference, all of this happened because Republicans were saying nice things about this 90-year-old delegate, a Democrat named Joe Johnson who passed away, and he was livid about it. And he said that he wants, he said that he wants this other lawmakers, is Gilbert's children to die. I am, I mean, I don't even have words for this. He was talking about House Speaker Todd Gilbert, because Todd Gilbert said something nice about the late delegate, this guy named Johnson, this late delegate.
Starting point is 00:40:10 And there were other Republicans that offered kind words. So just to put this in contrast, Jones was mad that Republicans said something nice about a Democrat delegate that passed away. Would he have been, why is he mad that they said something nice? And he just like went on this litany of threats. I mean, and he was talking to another delegate, a Republican, Carrie Coiner, and he texted her saying, hence the glowing tributes from the R's. I, yeah, as Kane said, it's like being mad because, you know, the guys, they gave food to the local food shelter or something.
Starting point is 00:41:02 They did something nice, and he got mad about it. And then he was going off on the house leader for Virginia. Again, his name's Todd Gilbert. He said, quote, spoiler, put Gilbert in the crew with the two worst people you know, and he receives both bullets every time. He said, three people, two bullets. Gilbert, Hitler, and Pol Pot. Gilbert gets two bullets to the head.
Starting point is 00:41:23 And joins in, Coiner apparently had a telephone conversation in the middle of these text messages because Quirner said, quote, in the text that were released, Jay, please stop. He said, okay, okay. And then he followed up. And she wrote, I was asking questions. I'm not attacking you. I'm trying to understand your logic. And that's when he said, yes, I've told you this before.
Starting point is 00:41:50 Only when people feel pain personally do they move on policy because she said you're talking about Todd and Jennifer Gilbert's children being killed. And he said yes. I cannot underscore how serious this is because this guy's going, he's running to be top cop in Virginia. Where are all the people who don't trust the police at? No, I think this is fair to bring up. All the people on the left are like, oh, they hate it. ice. They hate border. They hate border patrol agents. They hate ice. They hate law enforcement. You know, it was the left that marched in the street saying pigs in a blanket fry them like
Starting point is 00:42:23 bacon, right? The whole nine yards. But this is a top cop they love, a guy who's sitting here fetishizing about murdering a Republican lawmaker's children because the said Republican lawmaker only had nice things to say about a recently deceased Democrat delegate. You want this guy to be able to have the authority to persecute you in Virginia, to to prosecute you in Virginia, to head up law and order in Virginia. Now, if you thought that there was any condemnation of it, because Democrats did have a chance, as I said, they didn't. They didn't condemn it at all.
Starting point is 00:43:02 They doubled down on it. There is almost no understanding this. They doubled down on the statement. They said, quote, And their thing that they put this out on X. They said, the Virginia Beach Democratic Committee reaffirms its full support of Jay Jones for Attorney General. We are lined up, ten toes down, ready to organize, mobilize, and deliver voters for Jay and our entire Democrat ticket. They said recent press may have spotlighted past mistakes.
Starting point is 00:43:42 We say, and well, I don't know why they have the comma there. It's totally unnecessary. let those without sin cast the first stone. Okay, I'm pretty sure there aren't Republicans talking about murdering the children of other Democrats. So I'm okay with that? Can you okay with that? Yeah, I'll take that deal. Yeah, I'll take that deal.
Starting point is 00:44:01 That sounds like a good deal. I'll take that deal. I can't even. They go after the Republican incumbent over like women's reproductive rights, which is a stupid misnomer. and it sounds like it was written by a man. Sorry. Like women are being barred from procreating or not procreating. This is so stupid.
Starting point is 00:44:25 Stop treating women like we're stupid children. It's the most sexist phrase I've ever heard and it makes me sick. And they called up on all Virginians to line up behind Jay Jones, the guy who wants to kill other people's kids. They're rewarding it. He talks like a terrorist. Why, in God's name, would you want this guy, Jay Jones, as Attorney General, a guy who fetishized killing someone else's children over politics, and then reaffirmed that he was talking about killing someone else's children over politics, literally saying yes, in a text message that had been
Starting point is 00:45:03 confirmed by multiple news outlets. And by the Democrats themselves, they confirm these are real because they said, yeah, we don't care. We affirm our support for him. Do you trust this guy being in control of that kind of power in that seat as attorney general. Do you know the damage and the trail of terror that someone bad in that position could leave? I don't want to hear a single thing from these people about bad policing or ICE or anything like that. I don't want to hear a single thing from Democrats about sending National Guard to cities to help bring law and order. when they allow a guy who openly celebrates murder and the murder of children, like someone's children, as attorney general,
Starting point is 00:46:02 I don't want to hear a damn thing from these people on the left over this. He's not going to get out of this race. And Democrats, well, they're not going to condemn him. They are not going to condemn him. Audio Soundbite 8. Speaker of the House in Virginia. Listen to this. Audio Soundbite 8.
Starting point is 00:46:25 This is, I have no words. So we need to understand something. We have to be mature in our thinking and how we vote. We can't get distracted because they want us to get distracted by the text message here or something else. Stay focused. That's the current speaker of the House in Virginia. He is standing in a church pulpit. and he's telling people that they need to ignore Jay Jones's call to assassinate Republican lawmakers,
Starting point is 00:47:02 the current Speaker of the House in Virginia, in a church pulpit, telling people to ignore Jay Jones calling for the cold-blooded murder of children because they're going. parents are his political opponents. The left needs to be very careful about what they endorse. Because when you go too far, there is no coming back and there is no calling off the response to it. It is the culture of violence continued on the left. And as I said last hour, you got the guy who tried assassinating Kavanaugh who just got a wrist slap from a Biden judge because he decided decided to only recently identify as trans. And the press has been calling him a woman. You've got the continued attacks on ICE agents. The media, by the way, has been absolutely blacking this out.
Starting point is 00:48:09 MRC and others. They've done analysis. MRC has done analysis of all of this over at news busters. And I mean, if you thought that there was going to be a lot of discussion over this Virginia AG Democrat candidate calling for assassinations just a couple of weeks after we had one. No, they have completely iced it out. They have iced it out. There was no coverage on the Sunday morning talk shows. No coverage. In fact, the closest that it got was this.
Starting point is 00:48:47 Cut nine, please. This is insane. This is the closest it got. But can I also say in an interview with Leader Jeffries? Can we stop with the parole collection about the mean tweets and some rare tweets that this week it came to light that a Democrat candidate for Attorney General State of Virginia called for the assassination of political opponent, called for the assassination of that political opponent's family? And there's not one national Democrat calling for him to step aside. Not one. It's disgraceful. Nero, let me let me let you respond to that because that is going to be a big story, I think, in the coming days. I mean, I absolutely think people should criticize that 100%. It's like, I think it was a private conversation yet, but still awful and disgusting.
Starting point is 00:49:27 She sounds like drunk is all hell. I mean, like, I don't know. Like, I mean, I just think that it happened in private. The vocal fry is killing my soul and not the way that J. Jones wants it to happen. She's this former, you guys, this lady's, this female is apparently a form. former Biden aid. And she's like, no, it's okay because it was a private conversation with another lawmaker where he was over and a telephone conversation. And he, first off, I wouldn't, can I just say this? And I'm not trying to be joking. I wouldn't trust anyone stupid enough to put something
Starting point is 00:50:06 like that in a text. That is an immediate self-own. I don't like candidates that's self-owned because they're worthless, they have bad acumen, and you cannot trust them, you can't trust them to be a field general. You can't. A lawmaker, a politician that is so enraged that they lose the capability of reason, or they lose the ability to reason. And they write this stuff in a text. That's, I mean, yes, what he wrote is insane. The fact that he wrote it is insane. There's no sense of self-preservation because that was suspended because he was blinded by rage. Do you want someone that gets so blinded by rage that they don't even think of self-preservation? What in the hell would they do to you?
Starting point is 00:50:56 This is like a red alert moment here. A red alert moment. It is a watershed moment. And Democrats have already, they've already signaled what they're going to do. We have more on the way. We've got to go to headlines. folks at all family pharmacy love the folks at all family pharmacy i actually had to use him again so my uh my son who is in college ended up getting strep throat and he was able to get medication

Starting point is 00:52:47 It's time for Dana's Quick 5. All right. So this is in our town, and you want to talk about some bad pastors. And this is not representative of all pastors, but 64-year-old Robert Morris. He was behind a church here in our town where he got busted for sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl some years ago. This is, is this the Gateway Church? This Robert Morris guy?
Starting point is 00:53:15 He, it was in the 1980s when it happened. He was given a 10-year suspended sentence. He's going to only serve six months in jail. He's been called a pedophile disguised as a preacher. I think Robert Morris ought to be dragged personally. And my gosh, you've just, the punishment that awaits bad shepherds, I mean, it's in the Gospels.
Starting point is 00:53:39 going to be thrown in the depths of the sea with a millstone tied around you was your punishment. This is the kind of stuff. It's absolutely inexcusable. And I'm sorry, I don't like giant churches where the leadership is unaccountable. Not a fan of it. Let's see, a long lost treasure chest worth a million dollars that sunk on a Spanish Galley 300 years ago is finally hauled up from the depths. Kane, why can't we ever find anything like a lost treasure chest?
Starting point is 00:54:05 Super sad about this. And Canada is recalling cannabis products because they say the THC is too high. Can you die from high T's? I don't think, I don't know anything about this, but that's wild. Stick with us. Do you remember the panic buying of 2020, empty shelves and crazy prices for ammo? The calls for hate and violence are coming from the mouths. of the Democrat Party's leaders. And Jay Jones is just the most recent
Starting point is 00:55:42 and his wish for violent acts the most clear. So if you can't solve a problem, you can't name it, but I will. And here and now, the leadership of the Democrat Party has become consumed with hate. That's when some sense. Sears and she's not wrong. By the way, she is running in a gubernatorial race. And man, it's been, it's tough right now. And Republicans are not doing all they could do to win that race.
Starting point is 00:56:19 Welcome back to the program, Dana Lash, with you. They are up against a machine. The Democrat nominee has major donors dropping millions of dollars. People, don't. owners that don't live in Virginia. And this is a big swing state. And then you have this AG race. And they've, I don't know why that is. I have no clue why it is that Winsome Sears is outfunded and nobody in the Republican Party seems to care about this gubernatorial race. Do you realize what you're setting up? I'm going to tell you something. If Jay Jones isn't checked politically at the ballot box, you're going to be dealing with this guy for a long time. And he will read a. victory as an endorsement of his
Starting point is 00:57:09 calls for assassination and his terror tactics and you can promise, I promise you, you'll see more. Imagine if someone was assassinated in Virginia over politics and you have Jay Jones as the AG. I don't see anybody getting a fair shake. He will
Starting point is 00:57:27 mainstream it and he'll use his office to protect it and that's a guarantee. You can't tell me that somebody who texts stuff like that would do anything differently. I just, I don't know where the GOP is with some of these races. They, they're messaging on the shutdown, which is still in effect, I think has been good.
Starting point is 00:57:50 But their groundwork with these state-by-state races is not promising. And I can't tell you, I think I've only said this about one other midterm election of my adult life. And I think it was the 2010 one where it was incredibly important that we had won the House. the house and that in 2010. This is another one of those instances. This is probably of the decade, the most important midterm election.
Starting point is 00:58:24 And if Trump should lose, then heaven forbid, if the GOP should lose, Trump will lose because they'll impeach him over and over again. The last part of his term will just be mired in that. it is something, it's very important to consider this stuff. And I know that these races, some of these down ticket races aren't as attractive.
Starting point is 00:58:52 But that's where the germination for everything else at the top of the ticket starts. I promise you, if Jay Jones wins, he's not done with A.J. It's like rewarding Hamas by saying, oh, yeah, we're going to release some terrorists in exchange for probably dead, innocent civilians that you kidnapped. It's like, it's like a Hamas. tactic, you endorse the rhetoric, you endorse the tactics. It's, uh, I just don't think that people realize how dangerous somebody like Jay Jones is. And even for the Democrats who are like, well, I don't know, I'm just so tribal. I'm going to tell you something. One of, one of these Democrats is going to inspire another assassination. We just had,
Starting point is 00:59:45 a political assassination where our friend was shot in the throat. And you had a Supreme Court justice who had an attempt that was made on his life to say nothing of the two attempts on POTUS, to say nothing of the attacks on ICE agents, to say nothing of the attacks on Tesla drivers. You know, I had to think twice the other day after church went out to eat and parked next to a Tesla. and I actually paused as I pulled in. I was like, wait, do I want to park next to this Tesla? Isn't that horrible? Is that not horrible?
Starting point is 01:00:26 I just agreed to a speaking event coming up next month. And the negotiations just over the security alone were insane. Because everything is heightened. The luck doesn't have to worry about that because they're the ones doing the killing and the assaulting. I'm going to tell you, the left will push it to the point where they get a response, but it's not going to be what they want. Nobody wants to see it get to that point.
Starting point is 01:00:59 Less of all, the left. Because it's not something you win. You know, you don't, we can warrior this stuff. This is just terrorism. To me, I would, if, I don't know if the Republican AG there is going to, be able, I don't know if there's charges that can be brought. Not quite sure. This guy has a history. I told you he got in trouble busted for reckless driving that he was able to skate on. And then I was reading this story on break, the story that came up. He's been apparently in
Starting point is 01:01:46 trouble for so many things. And I've just pulled this up. In 2021, he called for a Norfolk police lieutenant to be fired because the lieutenant donated $25 to Kyle Rittenhouse. legal defense fund. And he called it utterly disgusting. And he demanded true accountability in policing. There's a police lieutenant that lost his entire career because he gave $25 to Kyle Rittenhouse's legal defense fund because of Jay Jones. Jay Jones made it happen.
Starting point is 01:02:25 He persecuted this guy. Imagine Jay Jones with even more power. as attorney general. I mean, you know, he might text about killing someone's kids, but as AG, sorry, he's got the levers to actually do it. When they tell you who they are, you got to believe him. That's not hyperbole for me to say that. That is who these people are.
Starting point is 01:02:50 No reasonable person does this kind of stuff. They don't say this type of stuff. They sure as hell don't text it. We have more on that. Also, I wanted to touch on the. this travel policy. Let me pull this up. So there is going to be, well, kind of a change. They're implementing, you know, they have the ID cards, right? They have these like bio, they have these ID cards that they've been pushing for EU nations. Now it's going to affect American travelers.
Starting point is 01:03:31 Fingerprint scans are coming for American travelers to most of Europe in a new policy. you would have to have your prints taken as well as photos upon arrival. France, Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and 25 other EU nations are going to begin implementing this new entry-exit system on October 12th over the course of about six months. They're going to be collecting biometric data, like facial imaging and fingerprints, according to the EU. And they might not be collected at every border crossing right away,
Starting point is 01:04:05 and their personal information may not be registered in the system. they're still going to stamp passports. They said that they want to help modernize border management across Europe to include security improvement. You know, you could close your damn borders and stop allowing the deluge to come in from North Africa, but, you know, and Islamist nations, but no, they're not going to do that. They're going to make everybody get fingerprinted. And they'll be able to track of people overstay their welcome in the Schengen area.
Starting point is 01:04:33 And that's the, it's an agreement with these EU nations and blah, blah, blah. And if you're basically an American and you're in the Schengen zone, you have to keep your passport on you at all times. And people say leave it in your hotel room. If you're stopped by police in some of these nations and you don't have it, it's up to their discretion whether or not they want to acknowledge your photo copy of it or take you to jail for not having it. I don't trust this, Kane. What could they do with our information? What do you think they could do with all that? Well, you can do anything.
Starting point is 01:05:04 You can establish new credit lines. You can do nefarious illegal things in the name. Yeah, I mean, it's limitless, honestly. If you were to deny to provide your fingerprints, they will deny you entry. Do you believe that the EU is capable of protecting all of your biometric data? No, they've already proven. And by the way, our own government's already proven, they can't prevent it. When the option is to just stop allowing the lawlessness back and forth across your borders
Starting point is 01:05:41 with simple border sovereignty. this is what they want to do instead. Now, I kept seeing this stuff pop up, like, oh, Americans are going to be denied entry if they don't provide, you know, they don't do the bio ID card with EU nations. Yeah. Now, TSA, Lorraine makes a good point about facial recognition. Yeah, that's, and you're not given an opt out. I've had to, they've done that to me before. I was not given an opt out.
Starting point is 01:06:09 In fact, the past couple of times I've flown, especially when we were overseas. when we went through Amsterdam. Amsterdam did not give you, their report does not give you an option to, you don't get to opt out. Gosh, they were so mean at that airport. Can I just, can I sidebar real quick? So at Amsterdam, their TSA is,
Starting point is 01:06:30 their equivalent of TSA is insane. First off, you don't get to opt out. Secondly, the photo thing would break like every couple of people. And then the people who were, they had workers there, but the workers were only telling you where to go after the automated system would tell you to move up.
Starting point is 01:06:46 And then when the automated system didn't work, the workers there had no backup. But they detained me for like 20 minutes because I had a makeup bag or a makeup case and they didn't recognize my makeup case. And no offense dudes. But I just think if you're a dude and you're looking at ladies' luggage,
Starting point is 01:07:04 you should know what that stuff is. And I guess they thought it was a bomb. So I was detained for like 20 minutes and all this stuff. And I was just, yeah, I was mad because I'm like, this is moron. and they thankfully brought a female over who was like, this is stupid. She was like, these guys need to be way better trained. So the female lady, the lady that was there acknowledged that.
Starting point is 01:07:23 But my point is that they don't give you, it's also automated. And especially at a lot of these busier international airports, people are in such a hurry that it's just fait accompli. They do it and they don't think about it. And everybody behind you is like pushing up, you know? So when you go, they have like a little iPad thing there and it just takes your photo and you don't they don't you don't get to opt out and I did ask one of the ladies there. I said, well, what happens if I don't want my photo taken? She's like I don't understand. And I'm like, well, what is the other option other if I don't want to do this? And she's like, there's no other option. I'm like, so that's the only so someone does not want their photo taken. She's like, I don't know what to do. Oh my gosh. And they said the EU. is like, we promise there are safeguards in place to protect your data. What are they? Oh, we can't tell you that. But, and it's only going to be in the system for as long as necessary. Well, how long is that?
Starting point is 01:08:24 We can't tell you. And it's only going to be for the purpose for which it was collected. Well, what is the purpose? We can't tell you. So trustworthy. A Florida woman stole from clients while working as a maid and even sent money to herself through Venmo, say deputies. Oh my goodness. So I'm just going to say she looks like she's had a rough life king.
Starting point is 01:11:12 She looks like she's had a little, why did this, here it is. This Florida woman, Kayla Connor, Flager County. Oh, wow, she's only 38. Do you see that? Hard living. She is accused of fraud, theft-related crimes, pickpocketing. She has been stealing from people 65 years age or older, all kinds of stuff. She ended up being charged.
Starting point is 01:11:42 She said apparently she was stealing. identification debit cards from like elderly widows. How horrible is this? And also taking checkbooks from widowers, et cetera, and trying to write bad checks, things like that with their with their checkbooks. And she ended up getting, she ended up getting caught. She's going to go to jail for a while. You're going to be careful of the people that you work with, really. There is a woman, let's see, I want a really good one. That's not too bad. This lady would, she was accused of helping to steal 12 rental cars while she worked at a rental center. And the story here, this is in Fort Lauderdale, 24-year-old woman, she worked with three other men to steal.
Starting point is 01:12:32 This sounds like fast and furious, slow and angry. This is what it's called. So 12 cars from her, she was working secure. She was working as security. Security, security. It was the Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport's car rental center. Savannah Phillips. She was arraigned on 13 felony charges related to a dozen cars being strolled from the Hertz parking garage.
Starting point is 01:12:55 And they finally busted her. They arrested her at her home actually just the end of last month. So she's got a, I think they're still looking for some of the other guys that she was working with. So let's see here. Oh, this one is a winner chicken dinner. WFTV. an arrested Orange County firefighter is accused of throwing over 100 tampons into her ex's yard. I really wanted, Kane, I need you to really pay attention to her hair and her mugshot.
Starting point is 01:13:24 It's quite literally two-toned. Half of her hair is black, half of its bleached blonde. Not making it up. Gabrielle Franzy, a firefighter from Orange County, was put on paid leave. She apparently threw over 100 tampons into her ex's yard, and they have security footage. That's that's that's that's the hairstyle. She, oh, it's so gross. They were used.
Starting point is 01:13:48 Yes, they were used. That's all I'm going to say. Third hour next. Our partners that help bring you the program, it's our friends over at Patriot Mobile. Starting point is 01:15:06 that the right wing in this country once a rematch of the Civil War. I just, I want that to sit in right now because the President of the United States of America has declared war on the people of Chicago and people across America. That's right. He's more interested in giving billions of dollars
Starting point is 01:15:26 to other nations while farmers in urban cities around this country are literally being destabilized. That's the Chicago mayor who's a race hustler and he's trying to incite. I don't know how else you interpret what he just said. Welcome back to the program, Dana Lash with you. We are at the top of this third hour. The chats at Rumble, all kinds of good stuff.
Starting point is 01:15:51 The 347 DirecTVX, Facebook, all that. This was the Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson who said this. And he's talking about the efforts to control crime in the cities where crime is so insane. You can't even walk the street. You can't even ride the subway. You can't do anything without being stabbed or attacked or something happening to you. And when you have Democrat mayors and governors that refuse to do anything,
Starting point is 01:16:29 then it's incumbent for the protection of the citizenry to receive protection. Then you're going to have the president who's going to exercise his authority to do so. And that's what's happening here. But for him to use that language, that's shameful. That is absolutely shameful. He's race hustling. Oh, they won a civil war. What a horrible, ignorant, racist thing to say.
Starting point is 01:16:55 When your entire defense is just race baiting, you're a racist. That's just kind of embarrassing that this guy has gotten this far in life being a one-trick pony, being a race hustler. And it's, I really don't think, don't sit here and tell Republicans to watch their tone when you've got attorney general nominees threatening to shoot somebody's kids in the head. When you've got the Chicago mayor who's saying, oh, they want a, they want a civil war with that type of. I really do think Democrats are trying to signal to incite more. You can't convince me otherwise. For instance, audio sum by 22. Here's another example of it.
Starting point is 01:17:37 This is Gavin Newsom. Gavin Newsom is in a race with J.B. Pritzker to see who can be the biggest D-bag. Listen. This is it. This is it. We're losing this country. We're losing it in real time. This is a chaos presidency. He is a wrecking all. This is unlike anything we've experienced in our lifetime. It is code red. No time for neutrality. It's time to stand up. Pick aside. and be firm and resolute. And that's what we'd call you for. So that kind of rhetoric, we're losing this country.
Starting point is 01:18:18 To what? To what? What are you losing the country to? This is about lawlessness and disorder and stopping the absolute insane amount of crime on Democrat city streets where they don't want to do anything. So Trump was using California National Guard for Portland. Portland filed a second TRO. So Illinois with Pritzker has been fighting back.
Starting point is 01:18:42 And in the meantime, you're protecting the criminals. I gave you the example of the Kavanaugh attempted assassin. One of the other things that we're watching, Israel is preparing to implement this agreement that everybody was talking about for the last couple of weeks, the Middle East peace plan, the first stage of it. Netanyahu's government told the IDF, to reduce activity in Gaza for now to a minimum.
Starting point is 01:19:12 But Hamas has to accept the deal and actually release the hostages. Now, Hamas announced that they would, because all of this is, by the way, predicated upon Hamas accepting it. And the individuals who scream about ceasefire, they don't seem to understand that that's Hamas having to agree to it, reconcile the demands for Israel to ceasefire, and then the importance that, Amos has to accept this agreement because Israel already has. So they've said that they would agree to release the hostages, but they want some of their terrorists released, which I think is, no, I think it's too much.
Starting point is 01:19:56 I also think that the only reason that it's lasted this long is because of the ninnies who keep saying that Israel needs to, oh, wait, wait, don't, don't. They purposefully made it to where it was dragged out for so long. This part of the agreement, this agreement, was that they would have to hand over administrative control of Gaza to an independent body. And that's something I think that they're still trying to work out. I got to be honest with you, I have no expectation that this is going to work because every single time anything like this has been done, Hamas immediately breaks it. It's part of this 20-point peace plan.
Starting point is 01:20:43 And the hostages, they said that there's like 20 that they think are still alive, and then the bodies of another 28 that they refuse to send home. So I just think it needs to be, if they want any of their terrorist prisoners returned, then they should be returned dead. If I were Israel, I would say, for every one of our, every one of the hostages is used. killed, we're going to kill two of the detainees we have of your terrorists. And then we're going to put them in mislabel boxes like you did to the Babus family. That's what I would do. So we'll see how this works, but I'm not, I've got to be honest, I have no expectation that it will.
Starting point is 01:21:31 Ribio said this is the closest that we've come so far to anything of this nature. and I don't know. The condemnation of Hamas, I feel, was just weak and lukewarm from all of the other Arab nations. Hamas, though, they said, well, we will release the remaining hostages, but we want a permanent ceasefire and a transition of the administration to a Palestinian body. I don't believe that you're hijacking, again, a nickname given by a dead Roman emperor. It's not a real thing. You're Jordanian. So no. And it can't be under the Palestinian authority either because as we've talked about ad nauseum on the show, that's essentially Hamas at this point because they have taken so, well, the last election, they took so many seats and their governing body. And then they were going to completely, they had us to suspend the 21 elections because they were going to take over authority in West Bank too. So it's too much. But I'm not, I don't know. I'm just not, again, this has been like 20 years, 30 years. I'm not hopeful at all whatsoever.
Starting point is 01:22:35 Me neither. Waiting for the next rocket because you know that that's going to happen. Also, steak and shape turning domestically. I got some culture headlines for you. They've announced that they're installing the tallest and biggest American flag that local governments will allow at every restaurant across the country. So they've got beef tallow. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:56 And then they're doing flags. Yeah. Yeah, I'll take it. Yeah. Man, they are really doubling down against, what was it? Oh my gosh, I can't think of the name of it. The restaurant that just had the remake. Oh, Cracker Barrow?
Starting point is 01:23:11 Yeah, Cracker Barrow. I, uh, they're going to their roots. Famous for steak burgers and beef tallow fries. Yeah. That's how it used to be back in the day. That's what McDonald's used to use. I have to order this tonight for dinner. Until they, you know, found out it was cheaper to use seed oils that are much more harmful
Starting point is 01:23:28 for you physically. I think I'm going to have to get this. Yeah, I think steak and shake should be a weekly thing now. What did you say about? about their fries. How did you describe their fries? They're little skinny little things. Little adorable little skinny little. Little shoestring.
Starting point is 01:23:42 I didn't say that exactly, but yeah. Skinny little ones. They're good. I like the fries that you can spear with a fork a bunch at a time. Yeah. And dip in cheese. Yeah. Oh, the cheese sauce.
Starting point is 01:23:53 Oh, God. I just turned into that emoji. So the drooling emoji. Sorry. The other thing, let's see here. So Disney, check this headline. Thin-skinned Disney boss Bob Eiger, he was said to have reinstated Kimmel because the cancellation began threatening his social life. I read this in a couple different places now.
Starting point is 01:24:22 He was alarmed by Hollywood's reaction to Kimmel's suspension. So see, now they're stuck with this guy. They're stuck with this albatross. I think it's hysterical. There was a host committee of women in media, and they had a. fundraiser and they were considering pulling out of this fundraiser because of it. And apparently it was affecting his socialization in Hollywood. And Eisner blasted Kimmel's suspension saying, where is all the leadership gone? Well, that's former Disney boss Michael Eisner. He said that
Starting point is 01:24:53 that apparently stung him the most. So he really just didn't want his social life to be impacted. That's real leadership. Let me tell you. talk about bending the knee. Good heavens. That's just an Eisner blasted it saying if it wasn't for university presidents, et cetera, just asinine. So that tells you, I feel like that they were going to cut ties with Kimmel anyway. And they were looking for an out.
Starting point is 01:25:23 And then they took this because they thought it would work. And then he wasn't prepared for a plan B. And then this happened. Meanwhile, Jimmy Kimmel will not stop whining about it. so apparently nobody notice how there hasn't been any other headlines about Kimmel or any other cuts about his monologues or anything because apparently that's all he's done he has continued, it's been written, to relentlessly complain about his show's brief suspension. Every night he just bitches and moans about it, every single night.
Starting point is 01:25:56 Nobody knows because nobody's watching. They're all done. Do you think they're going to cancel them again, Kane, this time actually for bad ratings? I mean, they've had... They're worse than what they were. Yeah, they've had an excuse already with bad ratings. They're losing a ton. What happened with Stephen Colbert?
Starting point is 01:26:12 He's losing the company $40 million a year? they cannot sustain it as a business. So yeah, eventually it'll have to come to that. I don't know. Or he'll have to get funny. It's like one of those two. And in the meantime, Dave Chappelle, he was performing at a Saudi comedy festival. And now I don't dislike Dave Chappelle.
Starting point is 01:26:33 I think he's sometimes he can be chaos neutral, but I think it's situational. He was blasted for saying that he had more free speech. He was at the Riyadh Comedy Festival. And he said, quote, right now in America, they say, if you talk about Charlie Kirk, that she'll get canceled. He said, I don't know if that's true, but I'm going to find out. And wait, if he thinks that the speech is freer, or over there, try talking about the royal family or Muhammad.
Starting point is 01:26:58 Because it's illegal. You can't criticize them over there. You get arrested. It doesn't matter if you're a Saudi or not. You can't do that. So let's just, if he really wanted to, like, be balzy and make a joke about free speech, see how far you can take it, Dave. Just make a joke about it.
Starting point is 01:27:13 about just make an innocuous joke about the royal family. I mean, I see the point he was making. Like, I don't think he was literally saying that, but there are certain things that are said in the public square here in the United States that get a lot of pushback from the left, and that doesn't make it unfree to say. It just means that there's extra consequences for that free speech. Now remember, Saudi law,
Starting point is 01:27:35 you are not allowed to challenge directly or indirectly the religion or the king or the crown prince or the royal family and it is illegal to cast uh the phrases to cast doubts on the fundamentals of Islam that's all illegal yeah and by the and that i just felt like that was a misrepresentation of what actually happened so i don't know am i going to freak out about like trans tifa did no but i just think it's funny these people that are like they go to places where you actually can't say things and then they're like oh yeah you can't say anything in America. Just stop. We have more on the way as we roll towards headlines coming up. We have our partners that help bring you the program. It is the folks over at Superbeats.
Starting point is 01:28:26 You guys are very familiar with Superbeats. The company behind them is called Human. They were founded out of the UT Health Science Center and they were built on real cardiovascular research around blood flow and nitric oxide. And human is science-borne, not just science-ish. Their products work and you can feel them working. U.T. athletes, have used Superbeats for over a decade, and they call it their cheat code for recovery and endurance. And you can use it for the same reason to support healthy blood pressure and circulation. Today, more than 160 college and pro teams use human products. So your favorite team probably does too. And if you've seen the human logo on the Longhorns Field this football season,
Starting point is 01:29:04 it's a partnership with UT and human, leading the future of cardiovascular health. The Superbeats, Heart Choose by Human, two Tuesday a day, supports healthy blood pressure, blood flow and energy, and they use clinically studied ingredients to do so. You can pick up superbeats at your local Walmart and start supporting your cardiovascular health today. Get on the road to better health with human. And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick 5. So now there's another smaller explosion at a refinery. This was now in Texas. I don't know. There's two of them. I don't know if they're related or not. There's not a a lot of information about it. So I don't know. It's not anything I can. They just said that they're, I don't, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:29:52 Just cancel the story out because there's not enough information here. Shouldn't even be included. A woman ordered coffee and paper plates on Amazon. She got a box full of 250 blank ballots. Can you share the link? Can you share the link? There was a woman in Maine. She placed an Amazon order for coffee, rice, and some paper plates. And then she got a box stuffed with 250 unused state election ballots. She believed that her package had been opened and retaped before it arrived to her door, suggesting that it may have been tampered with after it left the Regional Depot. And she explained that she had passed it on to the Newburgh, her town clerk, via law enforcement. They said they're cooperating, they're investigating, et cetera.
Starting point is 01:30:49 and now this comes just days before people in that state can begin voting by mail on a referendum about tightening restrictions on absentee voting. Interesting. Have you ever had anything like that before happen when you've ordered anything on Amazon and you've gotten literally 250 blank election ballots for your state? Where could I get the Texas versions? I'm not saying I'm going to cheat or anything, but, you know, if you're going to mainstream cheating, I will cheat better than you. Let's see. A man was hit with a 19,828. $24 parking fee due to a system error at a garage, at a parking garage.
Starting point is 01:31:25 This is like apparently the second time at the same airport. It's in Colorado. It's in Denver's airport. Remember we had a story where there was a woman who was charged thousands of dollars for like two days? This guy was charged nearly $20,000, the second time in the past two months that this has happened. He was only in the garage for 27 minutes. So it should have been $7. and he got charged $20,000.
Starting point is 01:31:50 And as he drove through, the credit card notifications played out on this audio system. Wow. That's insane. So are they going to fix that or what? Stephen Yates coming up. Starting point is 01:33:08 on today's most important stories. Subscribe on YouTube, Apple, or your favorite podcast platform. Welcome back to. the program, Dana Lash with you. We are at the bottom of this third hour and the chats at Rumble, channel 347 where you can watch the radio program or if you're listening torestrily. Just find us in one of the hundreds of markets around the country. Joining us now, our very good friends, Stephen Yates. You can find him on X at Yatescom. He's a senior research fellow at the Heritage Foundation. He's been traveling all around the world. He's a globetrotter and he joins us now.
Starting point is 01:33:41 We've got a lot of stuff to discuss. First and foremost, it's always good to see you. I am fascinated by this story, and I know you can shed some light on this. Tell me what is happening in Japan with this lawmaker, Senei, I'm going to say her name wrong, Ticacchi, who could be, because I know they have elections coming up, could be the next prime minister. She's being described as the female Trump. Is that accurate? Well, there's never another Trump in the world. So I think You can have people who have some Trumpisms. And so Takaiichi is her name. She has in the past been in a rock and roll band and legitimately rides motorcycles, so not cut from central casting as far as prime ministers of the past.
Starting point is 01:34:30 So she would be the first female prime minister of Japan. But I think those other qualities make her more interesting than just her gender. Now, she is legitimately a conservative. So she has been talking about pulling Japan's LDP back in a reform direction, focusing more on traditional values, taking a tougher line on immigration. And so there are elements of the Trump rebalancing in America and the world with which she'd really be a good fit for alignment. And I do think there's great opportunity in the U.S.-Japan relationship with her leadership, because alternatives either would be unpredictable or might have been more accommodating towards China. She actually might be more forward-leaning than any previous prime minister and could complete the Shenzhou Abe a normal nation project, something that I personally think would be a good contribution to Japan, but also the world. I read that she was, that she was considered associated or allied with Shenzhou Abe.
Starting point is 01:35:34 And so there's a, and he was immensely popular. And of course, that popularity obviously is kind of shared with her. That is a very unusual candidate for Japan. Yeah. Because they're so traditional with their politics and who they want in political office. That's why I was reading about her and I'm thinking this is, I've got to ask, I've got to ask Stephen Yates about this. But you're not wrong.
Starting point is 01:35:59 I mean, 25 years ago, people were wowed because former Prime Minister Koizumi had wild hair and liked Elvis. That was kind of the wackiness. that came out of the system at that time. She's got even more pizzazz. But as I say, I mean, we have a real opportunity with a real conservative. This is not just an establishment politician that's burped up by the machine.
Starting point is 01:36:21 She does have to sit for the election for prime minister. But if you win the leader of the LDP party, you're pretty well on the way to getting that prime minister ship. Wow. And so this, I mean, this is, I feel like our alliance with Japan has always been, you know, relatively strong anyway. But in light of, you know, increasing Chinese aggression, this just seems
Starting point is 01:36:43 like a major boon against that, a major win for, you know, Western values and this, the, the alliance that we're continuing to grow with Japan. For sure. And I think she'll be in alignment with what the Trump administration has wanted to do in increasing defense spending with burden sharing by the allies. I think she would be pretty forward-leaning in deterrence in the Taiwan straight. in support of the Philippines so that you have basically the first island chain trying to push back against Chinese aggression. And that keeps the Chinese from trying to pretend as if they just have some historical beef with Taiwan when it's obviously more than that. And this new prime minister, should she get that job, I think would be a really, really good balance the other direction.
Starting point is 01:37:28 What is the, for those joining us, we're talking to our friend Stephen Yates and this candidate in Japan that could be there she's being described as a female Trump I love the fact that she rides an actual motorcycle legitimately that's that's something that's amazing but she's being described as a female Trump she's slated you know as of now at least it looks like she'll be the next prime minister what what what is the the because it seems like that's that's a recent change in terms of acceptance in Japanese culture as it pertains to politics what drove that is it immigration is it trade is it aggression with China what what what contributed to the way it is right now with her kind of leading?
Starting point is 01:38:07 Well, first and foremost, when you're dealing with bare-knuckle politics inside a parliamentary system and inside of a political party, there's a lot of this that is sort of the beat down behind the scenes that led to that majority. That means that the titans of various factions duked it out. People who chose not to support her in the last run for the previous prime ministership swung back to her camp. There is the, I mentioned the wild-haired former Prime Minister Koizumi. His son is rising in ranks and ran last time, ran again this time, but is still seen as being
Starting point is 01:38:45 too young and experienced and somewhat ill-defined. I think that there's also an increasing awareness in Japan that the pendulum has swung in a decidedly different direction. It's not just populism, but globalism has failed everybody. And Japan has been a very dutiful supporter of globalism, whether it's together with old Europe, the climate theology, all kinds of things. And I think that Takeichi represents a refreshing relook. She's not going to be an American conservative. She's not going to be Trump. But I think she pulls things in that direction that wouldn't otherwise happen. If you have the cookie cutter pro-business or pro-traditional LDP candidate, we just don't get the policy change that would make much difference.
Starting point is 01:39:36 And Japan has to change if it's going to remain competitive in that part of the world. Yeah, it's interesting to the timeline of that, especially their previous support of globalism, which they were, didn't start out that way for sure. Last question on that, and I want to switch over to talk more about China. China's posturing. You have somebody like that leading Japan. China have to change in that arena? Well, China will try to say, see, she's bringing up Cold War ideology or she's unapologetic about World War II.
Starting point is 01:40:07 But, you know, World War II was my granddad's war. And more recent than that, China killed Americans with fentanyl and COVID. So I'm a little more focused on that than I am whether the Japan of World War II was brutal. And it was. My granddad had PTSD to his death from that experience. that generation of Japan is responsible for it, but that's not today. And I think she will somewhat like Trump be Japan first and unapologetically first about her country. And I think that America and Trump are completely comfortable dealing with someone like that. Yeah, that sounds,
Starting point is 01:40:45 it sounds like it. Okay, I wanted to ask you about this story I was reading about the scandalous, the scandalous development, America's top colleges, falling for a Chinese trap. They're accused of handing cutting-edge military technology to Beijing in a series of these shady partnerships. There's a number of reports on this, whether it's Fox or even Axios and the Daily Mail. Lawmakers are saying that the deals are turbocharging. China's rise in terms of danger. It's U.S. taxpayer-funded research projects, bankrolled by the Pentagon, and it's this congressional report that says all of this is being exploited by the CCP so they can develop
Starting point is 01:41:22 their own surveillance tools and missiles and jets and all this other stuff. stuff. I just think China, we talked about this last week, how Qatar is the number one donor to all of these universities with China coming in second. Why is this allowed? Well, number one, because people, I think, are very cautious about, I think, telling the truth that China is in a cold war with us, that risks going hot at some point, but at a minimum is engaged in comprehensive warfare against the American way of life. People can say that's extreme. The head of NVIDIA might call me a daring hawk
Starting point is 01:42:02 or some dastardly negative analyst because I say that they're trying to steal from us and use it to their advantage against our interests, but that's empirically what it is. But if you won't admit that we're in a Cold War with the People's Republic of China as it is, then you allow for these kinds of programs to go without appropriate scrutiny.
Starting point is 01:42:26 In the original Cold War, we never would have had sensitive government programs and technologies go out without monitoring whether the Soviets or their allies had access to said programs. And for whatever reason,
Starting point is 01:42:39 we didn't put any guardrails on these kinds of things with the People's Republic of China in recent times. And this is just screaming out. Now, I don't want to go to war with China. I don't really want to go to war with much of anybody. But if they're going to,
Starting point is 01:42:54 kill our people and steal our technology and try to disadvantage us as a country, I do want us to at least not make it easy for them. And I would also kind of like to punch back. Yeah, I agree with that completely. And China, too, I was reading, there's a massive nationwide SIM farm. We're in the wrong business, Kane. Like, I never really thought about farming, but now sin farming, you know, it's a SIM farm network that's apparently threatening a critical American infrastructure. I just, I mean, surely, I hesitate to asking this question, surely the United States government has been prepared for such a thing, right?
Starting point is 01:43:33 And they have a way to respond to this to kind of neutralize this threat, right? Well, the good news is that this pretty dramatic attack focused on New York City when the president and lots of other world leaders were going to be in town. was found out and thwarted. The bad news is we have no idea in open source material where else the same kinds of activities are already going on and whether we're on top of it. At the very least, this was a pretty stunning wake-up call.
Starting point is 01:44:09 Again, I would not consider this to be the behavior of someone with whom you can make a reliable trade deal, someone with whom you can expect to have normal economic relations or allow thousands and thousands of their students to come into our universities. This is the behavior of an adversary, an aggressive adversary at that. And if they're playing footsie with an axis of evil, the likes of Russia invading Ukraine and Iran's and its proxies threatening Israel and us, then that's pretty much one step from al-Qaeda-like activity. Now, I don't want to be the ghosts of wars past talking about these kinds of things,
Starting point is 01:44:47 But this is pretty stiff stuff that we're finding in these reports. Is it an active war? And I think that it puts Homeland Security into hyperdrive. Would you classify it as an active war? It definitely is. But I mean, there's so many things that are textbook acts of war. And if you don't go to war because someone engaged in an act of war, what is it? Right.
Starting point is 01:45:08 And so it's provocative at the very least. It should be very chilling and sobering. But what it really ought to do is make us think, what are we doing to make them have to worry about things in their own country instead of playing defense here waiting for something to go pop? Right. Why don't we have little hidden police stations all throughout China? I mean, that's something.
Starting point is 01:45:29 I agree with you. I'm so tired. I always feel like we're always on defense with us. And whether it's, you know, the police substations that we talked about before, you know, in the past year or this. And for the folks that aren't familiar, this was that story that was about the cell network that was attacked. and apparently now everybody's just discovering this massive, like, countrywide network that the CCP has. I mean, that's, I just think, you know, we're talking about a government, our government, that would put parents on watch lists for speaking up at school boards, but they would miss this.
Starting point is 01:46:05 I mean, I'm just hoping that they didn't miss it. Yep, no, it's absolutely true. We know that with wild, woke, over politicization, they did take. their eye off the ball on very, very real threats. Most of America knows that from the border opening and the flood that came in. But there were lots of other areas where aggressive actors like China were doing their business, what they always do, and we made it permissive for them to do it. Now we have to get serious and dig out of that, I think, national security deficit. I agree with you. Stephen Yates, always a pleasure, my friend. You can go find him on X at Yatescoms.

Starting point is 01:48:29 recently deceased Democrat. He reacted by calling to murder, said lawmaker, and killing his kids. Like, how is Is that your response to this?
Starting point is 01:48:47 Republicans says something nice about Democrat and another Democrat's like, you should die. It just proves to you. They don't need a reason to be triggered. They will decide whenever they're triggered and they can make it for whatever reason. I mean, imagine what he's going to do with his office if he were to win. What he would do with that office if he were to win. also isn't that like if in this climate wouldn't you think oh that's nice that a republican said something nice about a dead Democrat without without qualification how dare you try to create unity yeah he was genuinely Gilbert was genuinely saying a nice thing about this deceased Democrat delegate no qualifications at all just
Starting point is 01:49:50 just plain and simple that was very, very classy. Surprisingly so, honestly, in today's era. And that he would react to it that way. I mean, I just have no words. I have no words. And all of the Democrats that are co-signing it by defending it. And now apparently they're going after Carrie Coiner. Now that's starting to build up.
Starting point is 01:50:21 Democrats are going after her for retaliation. And they're going after anybody who just simply observes that this was done. It is wild. We'll have more tomorrow. Today in stupidity cane. All right, it's Meathead. Cut 31. Rob Reiner. If you were to say what Hollywood's job was, I would say it's to entertain, maybe make some money, whatever. This is what Rob Reiner thinks Hollywood's all about. So we're well aware of what's happening. We, but our job now as communicators is to start
Starting point is 01:50:51 communicating to the rest of the country to let them know what is going to happen to them. The two big things that an autocrat needs, they need control of the media, which is what they're trying to do. All right. All right. He's just explaining the left's agenda for the last four decades, so that's fine. Yeah, I
