Welcome to the Data Stack Show prequel, where we give you a teaser of the show that we just recorded. This was a really special one. It was a live stream with a panel and we talked about streaming and it was absolutely fascinating, Costas. I think one of the big things that stuck out to me that I thought was a really interesting part of the discussion was that they talked about, several panelists talked about how in some ways streaming simplifies operationally a data flow because it's running continuously, right? And so even if it's not necessarily a requirement, you know, say for end users, for stuff to be happening in real time, a continuous flow can in some ways simplify the operations. What did you think about that?

It's interesting because you see the difference between the person who is building the systems and who has spent a lot of time in the technology itself and has done all the right abstractions. So yeah, they have a very clear vision and understanding of how things can become, let's say, more clear or easier done all the right abstractions. So yeah, like they have like a very clear vision and like understanding of like what, how things can become, let's say more clear or like easier in some cases with streaming. Right.

But I have the feeling that like people out there, and I'm talking both about like users who have to interact with like streaming data, process them and analyze them, but also engineers who have to go and build on top of these systems, they're a little bit more confused. And I think the developer experience and the user experience, which are things that we, I think, touched a lot during the conversation we had with these guys, are super, super important. And that's a big part of what, let's say, these people are bringing on the table,

how we can take streaming and make it approachable to more people, both in terms of like working with them on an engineering level,, like, how the experience that we design are, like, in some cases, let's say, even more important than the technologies that we build.
