Welcome to the Data Stack show prequel.
This is a short bonus episode where we preview the upcoming show.
You'll get to meet our guests and hear about the topics we're going to cover.
If they're interesting to you,
you can catch the full-length show when it drops on Wednesday.
We are here on site at data council in Oakland, California.
And our first guest this week is Pedram Naveed of Dagster.
And Pedram, I feel like we intercept you
as sort of these major points where your job changes
or your role changes.
So we're gonna hear about the latest iteration of that.
But thanks for joining us.
Yeah, thanks for having me.
All right, give us just the quick background
and you can go back maybe just to the beginning
of when you were on the show of your involvement in data
and tell us what you're doing today.
Yeah, I feel like I can just track my career progression
just by following the data stack show.
I think last time we spoke, I had just joined Dexter,
head of data engineering in DevRel.
More recently, back in November,
I took on the marketing function as well
so we can maybe talk a little bit about that. Yeah, excited to be on here.
Jason Bahlberg Awesome. So, Pedro, we were talking before the show about
DAX or components. I want to dig in on that. And what are some topics you want to cover?
Pedro Alarazzo Yeah, we'll talk about DAX or components.
We can talk about data engineering, YAML engineering as well.
Jason Bahlberg Love that.
Pedro Alarazzo All right, well, let's dig in.
Jason Bahl. Sounds good. All right, that's a wrap for the prequel.
The full-length episode will drop Wednesday morning.
