Welcome to the Data Sack Show prequel.
We're in the same room in San Francisco, California, which is great.
And this is going to be the most tantalizing prequel we've done yet
because we have a couple of big pieces of news to announce to the listeners,
but we're not going to cover those in the prequel. Of course not. Yes, you have to commit to the listeners, but we're not going to cover those in the prequel. Yes, you have to
commit to this show, but we will, I will give you a little taste of what we're going to talk about.
One thing we're going to talk about is you're going to tell us the story of founding a company
in the data pipeline space. And so we'll get the whole backstory of that, which is going to be
super interesting. And I want to ask you all all about i have so many questions about that actually it's funny
having the opportunity to talk to you about this because we talked to so many other people about
similar things yeah yeah and it's also very interesting for me to be honest because i i
don't think that i've done it before at least like in these four months, because, okay, like I started Blendle, then Blendle got acquired.
And at the same time, like as Blendle got acquired, I started doing like the things
that we were doing at RatherStack.
And I never like had the time to sit down and like reflect.
And reflect on it.
Sure.
Things that happened.
So yeah, like for me, it's like a great and amazing opportunity.
I have to thank you, the show, of course, for, you know, allowing me to come here and
do that.
And Brooks, above all, who authorized.
Because yeah, like it's going to be like also very interesting for me, like to think like
of all these things that happened.
Yeah.
Well, what I'm excited about is, well, we just recorded the episode and I'll tell you,
I will say one thing I appreciate about hearing the story is, we talk a lot on the show about the way that technology develops. And the personal stories behind that are always just so fascinating to me. And we're going to get to dig into all the details of that, right? Because you sort of have like the company and the technology growing but then that like there's human growth behind that oh yeah which is fascinating
oh yeah that's one of the i think one of the most interesting parts of anything that has to do with
entrepreneurship and all the people that come here and we talk to them i mean okay we tend to focus
more on the technology but the human stories behind the development
of the humans behind the technology
are like super, super interesting and fascinating.
And probably we should spend a little bit more time
doing that too.
Yeah.
So that's what I'm realizing now.
So yeah, let's try to do that from now on.
We will.
Yeah.
All right.
And last teaser, on this upcoming episode,
we also cover two,
three really,
really important topics.
Winamp.
Yes.
Quake arena and Napster.
So you are not going to want to miss this one.
Definitely tune into the upcoming show and we will hear Kostas' story.
