Hi, Mackenzie. We're back in our homelands. I'm back in West Coast, East Coast, but we were just together. Oh my God. How fun were the live shows. You guys, thank you so much for coming and supporting us in the presence and the loves and all the things. I had the best time we need to do more to those who were in Tampa and Orlando or last month if you were in Chicago. It's why we do it. I love that when we get to actually meet people after the shows. Everybody has a little strong.

whether it's a quick one or an update on a Patreon submission or just somebody that turned out well. Oh, I love when you say, oh, this is my wife or my husband and they're wonderful. We are both, I think, still reeling a little bit. But today's going to be maybe a little bit lighter. You got a McKenzie and a cabot for us? I do. But you guys, I have a special surprise for you. Hannah has a little Hannah undercover for us. Handa, hand a panda. Well, it's a Hannah undercover as an Uber passenger.

And then the driver told me a story. So it's an Uber undercover. Totally not fact check. Oh, my God. It's a doozy. And I feel like you should share it, Hannah. Okay, I'll share it because it's basically a PI undercover story. And the fact that he told me this story on the way to our show,

I was late to our call time because he was like, I'm not done. She was late for sound check because of it. I was like, guys, it was worth it. I feel like I have to share it because it's so on point. Okay, let's get into it. Let's get into it. So a podcast host walks into an Uber, wearing pink and holding six pink dresses

and this guy, he was a charmer, big personality. He's like, where are you going? I didn't know I was picking up such a hot layer or some awkward comment. Okay, let's calm down with the Florida accent. Okay, sorry, I love it, I love it. No, I love it. I'm just kidding.

It was perfect. I said, I didn't know I was getting such a perfect driver for me on my way to my show. I need this kind of compliment. Thank you, sir. And he said, your show, tell me. me about your show. I told him what I did, what we were doing. And he said, oh, do I have a story for you? Oh, boy. Everybody does, but nobody has a story like this. So he's an Uber driver,

as we know. Let's call him Doug. Doug feels right. So I tell him that my co-host is a private investigator. And he said, well, I'm not a private investigator, but I kind of have done some private investigating. Yeah, we all have, but what do you mean? And I'm thinking going on Instagram and looking up your ex. No, no, no. So he said, I met a woman. And this part, I said it on stage when I told you guys, too. I don't remember if he said she was a driver. No, she was a passenger of his or if they just met at a Walgreens, which either way, the Walgreens thing is so funny, I have to mention it. So maybe it's just a friend from Walgreens. He said she's a nice lady, a seemingly kind of wealthy lady. It sounded like he was kind of attracted to her, but maybe he's just

attracted to women in general because he was pretty liberal with his complimenting, but I felt safe. Anyway, so he says, she reached out to me after we'd met, sent me a text and said, I have a job for you. I would like to pay you $500 to pick me up and you and I are going to follow my husband. I think he's cheating. So in so many words, it starts the same way as your stories, McKenzie. I think my husband's cheating. And, okay, is that legal to just pay a random Uber driver off under the table $500 to follow your husband, McKenzie? So it's not legal because if he takes money to do a surveillance but he's not licensed,

it's illegal. Bad. If he follows somebody without a license, bad. Unlicensed activity is felonious. Don't do it. Okay. So I'm sitting in the back and I'm like, all right, Doug. I feel like I know I'm not recording.

I'm not on the clock. I feel like I have to tell you that's not legal. What did you do? And he says, it was $500. So he took the money and he showed up. He shows up at her house. It's this gorgeous house. He's telling me what he thinks the value is.

He was like, I was on Zillow the rest of the day trying to find out how much of this house was. I was like, okay, Doug, you and I are sisters. But he picked her up and drove down the block like you tell us, you do. And she went in the back. seat so that her husband wouldn't see her if he came out and they waited. This is so fun. Her husband comes out, I guess, with golf clubs, puts him in the car, starts driving. They follow him. They follow him through a pretty normal day. I think he does what he says

he was going to do. I said, were you nervous that you were going to get caught? What if he thought his wife was with another man? What if he did something? And he said, well, he did catch me. I'm like, what? What happened? What? And luckily, he didn't actually get caught and confronted, but the guy started making some pretty funky turns as he was driving so much so that he's probably wondering if he's being followed and then trying to lose him, which probably happens to you too. I assume. Oh, yeah. They do all these crazy maneuvers to see if you'll follow them through like seven left turns. So eventually his wife, who's ducking in the back seat, tucking and rolling, says, okay, he's.

knows he's being followed. Let's just go back. So he drops her off. He wasn't cheating. $500, no harm done. There was a time back in college where I thought credit cards were basically free money. A little bit later, maybe a couple weeks, he gets another message from the same woman that says, okay, now I want to give you $1,000 to pick me up and take me to Miami. He's going on a trip and I think he's staying with another one. woman. Let's do it this weekend. $1,000. And Doug's like, oh, I really should not go to Miami. But it's $1,000. A thousand bucks is a thousand bucks. And then the real kicker for him,

she said, actually, I don't think we need to take your car because he's not going to assume that my car is down there. So you can drive my car and I have a Porsche. And Doug's like, I'll be there in 10. Let's go. I want to drive that Porsche down to Miami. So he goes to her house. He picks her up. They go down to Miami. So they get down to the hotel. He waits. He does not go in with her. And I think that is a pretty good idea. What this woman went on to do is go through the entire hotel staff, the kitchen staff, the front desk, the valet, everyone, housekeeping. She says, I'm going to give you a tip right now. if you see anyone other than one man coming in and out of that room, I think my husband's cheating and I would love you to let me know.

Everybody was on board. Maybe this woman is just a master social engineer like you, McKenzie. She got people to be like, bet where, what's the room, what's your number? This guy's not getting away with anything. And sure enough, apparently the kitchen staff reaches out to her. we got a room service order for that room and it is a romantic meal for two, you know, like bottle of wine, two nice meals.

Busted! So what does she do? She goes up the elevator, goes to the room, waits for the room service cart to roll up. And when they knock on the door, she is standing there with the room service and says, hello, it's me, your wife. I don't know what happened from there.

I don't know what Doug ended up doing. I don't think he got arrested. I told him he should not have done that, but I'm glad he did because he told me. And that's Doug's undercover story. I was peeing my pants that he had done that. That is so funny only because I don't think the general population knows that you can't just do that. Like that's called stalking. I said that.

And you're not allowed. And so this poor guy is probably like, hey, this is free money, whatever. Like he doesn't realize that he's making a crime. He could literally be arrested. Ignorance is no excuse from the law, right? Just because you didn't know, doesn't mean you can't get in trouble. But this guy's like, hey, that's money. And have you heard the cases where people are hiring DoorDash to go deliver something to someone's house just to see what cars in the driveway?

They're like, hey, I'll give me an extra. Tell me what cars are the car. Who opens that door? Yeah. Our audience at the live show. I really love that story too because I love that it was real time and it happened right then when you were in Florida. Literally like hours before. And then when I shared it in Orlando, towards the beginning of the show, after I finished it,

somebody said, I have a question and raised their hand. And I looked over and I was like, is that my mom? It was. And she did. She wanted to know, why couldn't she have just told her husband? Like, I just happened to be in Miami. Like, I was just, I just stumbled upon you. And I was like, I think that would work.

That's not how the show works. Well, yeah. First I was like, this is not how it works. You don't just get to ask question whatever you want. But then I was like, but you can have two more throughout the show. Use them watching. But then, yeah, I was like, I think it would kind of blow that cover. The fact that she showed up at his door with the room service is not something you just happen to do.

Well, also, he doesn't have time to make an excuse. It's just right there. It's time to confront this. We're doing this like right here right now. But that can also be dangerous. So disclaimer, don't do that because the confrontations are what scare me the most because you never know how someone's going to react when pushed into a corner. True. And that can be really dangerous.

So that's something I wouldn't condone just because I've seen situations where people actually confront somebody and then they just lose their shit right there. At least if you have to do that, bring someone, have someone at your house with you. Some kind of mediator or someone to, yeah. But it's funny that you have this Uber story to tell because this. This McKenzie undercover story is about an Uber situation. We are on theme today. Uber undercover, baby. You're going to love it.

Even though we couldn't confirm your Uber guy's story, I feel like there's got to be so many ride chair undercover stories that we're missing out on. Ride chair undercover. I love it. And some of the stuff you guys, you can't make up. You honestly just can't make this stuff up. So when I got this story, this was actually one of those cases where the wife, mid-30s, husbands working Uber just to kind of make ends meet, right?

A little bit of extra cash. And you know, there's DoorDash, there's Uber, there's Liff, there's all these different opportunities that Amazon deliveries, you can do all that stuff and just earn some extra coin, right? But when this wife called me or can call her Melissa, she wasn't even sure that her was cheating, but she kind of had this feeling like the math ain't math and like he's not bringing home enough to justify the amount of time he's gone. So clearly it feels like there's something going on with the Uber driving.

Maybe he's doing something different. But she said as far as she knows, he's never actually cheated on her before, but she's had suspicions before because he's acted weird. And she's like, I just want to know. Like, he's out of the house. So what happened exactly when she called you? Did she even bring up cheating as a possibility? Was she happy to call you?

Or like, I can't believe I'm doing this? That's a really good question because a lot of people when they call me, they do feel ashamed. They feel embarrassed because. it's like, I guess, there's probably nothing or it could be nothing, but it's got them tuition phone call where they're like, I know something is going on. I have a feeling something is going on or I need more proof or I know, but I, whatever. So she was just very almost like embarrassed. It's like you don't call the cops when you hear a noise in your house because you're like, oh, it's probably nothing.

I would be stupid, right? And that could be a burglar. You have no idea. So when she called me, I'm not really sure what's going on, but I could really use some help. And I'm a girl's girl. And of course, I'm like, you know what? You don't know what you don't know. So I'm happy to take this on for you. And she's like, there's just no proof. But he's making this extra money.

So I'm going to use it to hire P.S. Especially if it's not nearly as much as it seems like it should be if he's away for 12 hours a day. And he's like, I made $20. $6. Yeah. Which then again, I mean, I don't know what the Uber. I'm curious people who drive. I don't either.

It's like, what are the margins? because I feel like they're not as good as they should be. But that's another conversation. So she knew something had changed. And so her husband, the Uber driver, it's called Jason. He's been driving Uber for about three years, right? And he would drive on Thursday through Saturday nights because those are the moneymakers. People are going out to bars and they're going out to restaurants, events.

And so those are the most profitable times. Okay. And it also gave him the perfect explanation for literally, everything. Why were you out at 2 a.m.? Airport run? Why were you parked at the same apartment complex for 45 minutes? I was waiting on a passenger. So anywhere he was, he could just say, oh, I'm driving the Uber. Right. Totally. So. And then also his hours aren't clear. If somebody's ride at the end of the night is way too long, you might get back at a different time than you said you would. Exactly. And so you just never know. Or if somebody says like your guy, hey, I'll give you

$500 to go here and you're like, hey, 500 bucks, $500, let's add some time to the schedule. But it's also interesting that they know their location. If somebody's driving on a ride share app, you do know where someone's going. So even if they stop to hanky-panky, you're going to see that. Uber will tell you, they'll be like, hey, what's going on? I've had an Uber take me to a drive-thru before and they're like, Uber's yelling at me. Like, why are you at one location for too long? You're right. Like, they know. But Melissa believed him for the longest time. But then she started noticing little things. I know this happens for me too. I don't notice something wrong right away. It stays in my head, but then I notice patterns. So then later on, something will come up that

contradicts that. And then now there's a pattern. So then I start to see, oh my gosh, something is wrong. So he would always come home after his last ride. But recently, he would stay out like another hour or two. And basically his Uber earnings just weren't increasing despite the extra time he claimed to be Uber. So she knows the math ain't mathen. And as soon as he got home, no matter where he was going, he would always shower. Like he would, especially when he was home late, he would come home and shower right away, which we see that as a right flag, right? Like, that's. Yeah.

He's either trying to wash off someone else's perfume or like smoke from the bar with the boys that he's not telling her or the casino. He's doing something he doesn't want her to know. Exactly. And then there's the passenger seat. So you know Uber drivers. They drive their own cars most of the time. He had always kept like a phone charger, bottled water, miscellaneous Uber stuff there. And that's like being a PI on surveillance.

I always have like snacks and I've got my makeup and I've got all these things that passenger seat. And they're in my little backpack and it was just strapped. And she said, suddenly he started keeping it completely empty. And so she's like, where's all your stuff? Why is it in the back seat? And you need that. Like she would get in the car and she'd like, why is your stuff in the back seat? And it was never in the front seat.

have to carry passengers in the backseat. What are you doing? Interesting. What was his explanation? Did he have one? Or just like, oh, I moved it. I don't know. Yeah, like he would just brush it off.

Look over there. Look at his traction. He was like brush it off. It was always something that she couldn't prove. He always had an explanation. And so how do you call someone a cheater? Because there's nothing in their passenger seat. But these are the things that she noticed.

So one morning, she gets into his car and she noticed that the passenger seat was pushed, really far back. And most Uber drivers, in my experience, usually keep the front seat pulled all the way forward because most people get in the backseat and so it gives them more room when the front seat is pulled all the way forward. Do you remember the movie with Polly Shore

called Son-in-Law? And they were trying to... I don't think I saw it. Tell me. So son-in-law, I don't even think you were born yet. Like, it came out like 93. And Polly Shore was dating this really nice girl and the family hated him and then they tried to frame him for something.

And so they determined that he couldn't have done it based on the fact that the brother somebody had pushed the car seat all the way back. So he couldn't have been driving because he's too short. Oh my gosh. Something like that. Anyways, that's what it reminded me of. So she's like, what was happening here? Yeah.

She's like, why is the seat pulled all the way back? And she had to pull it forward a little bit. And she said that same time that she gets into the car, she sees a long blonde hair caught between the seat. seat and the center console. And she has dark, dark brown hair. But Jason, the Uber driver, her husband, he laughs and says, people get in my car. Like, duh, you're going to find other people's hair.

Unfortunately, I get it. Like, I get him saying, yes, some people sit in the front and they were really tall. And she dropped her phone in between the seats, which I do almost every other day. Exactly. And he's like, I literally drive strangers around for a living. You're going to find other people's hair in my car. There's probably some kind of like crime scene evidence in here. There's no telling.

Other people are in my car all the time. And it really is a perfectly reasonable explanation. But that's what bothered her the most is that everything had a perfectly reasonable explanation. And she's like, I don't like it. Too reasonable. Too reasonable. Too easy to explain away. And so what do you do?

So she follows me. And if you're new here, I'm going to find it. out. So the first two nights of surveillance, complete nightmare. I'm sure there's other private investigators listening going, oh my God, yes, because imagine when you're a private investigator, you have to follow people around and see what they're doing. But an Uber driver, you have a greater chance of getting busted because the longer you're on someone and by on them, I mean, tailing them, the greater chance they have of noticing you and you're getting busted. So that's really hard kind of staying far away. There's no predictable route. You don't know where they're

going, these Uber drivers are pulling in places and out places in a couple of seconds and do an apartment complex out of an apartment complex. They'd pick someone up, drive across town, drop them off, head somewhere else. It's so unpredictable that it's. But at least you know he's driving Uber. That's information because you could have been doing none of that. And they have, like they track their times and stuff. So like he can prove all of this stuff, right? But also to make extra money, I don't know if you guys have ever been in an Uber and they're like, hey, if you have, if you need another ride, just call me directly. And it gives us. him a little bit extra money. They don't have to do it for the app so that they can bypass the

fees that they're charged by Uber. Uber gets a cut, right? So I guess by doing that, they just make a little bit more money. So he would always explain it as I'm just, it's money for us. And we're just, this is how we're going to make more money. And so I couldn't tell which stops were legitimate passengers and which ones weren't. Like, you can't tell. Like you just presume that they're all legitimate. And some would get into the front seat. Some would get to the back seat. So So it's no shocker. Like, oh, someone's getting the front seat, not the back seat. Like if there's four girls, they're going to get three in the back one in the front, right?

Totally. Were you looking for a tall blonde, like the one who might have been in the seat? Yeah, but literally they're all tall blondes. It was just so much different potential for who this year is. Yeah, it's almost like you just truly can't take anything too seriously. You just have to observe and report. Yep. Well, on the third day of surveillance, I went out on a weekend.

and at 1140 p.m., according to my report, he drops off two passengers downtown, right? Well, instead of immediately accepting another ride, he drove about eight miles to a residential neighborhood and he parks in front of this townhouse. Well, I didn't know at the time that this wasn't another ride. I just thought, okay, now he's heading to another ride. No one comes outside.

Usually people are waiting for their Uber, and so they get in right away. This one was a little bit longer. No one comes outside. 10 minutes go by. Then 20. Jason never leaves the car. He's just sitting there.

He's waiting. He's talking on the phone. He's texting. I can see what he's doing in his car. I use my little video camera to zoom in and I'm just documenting this is what he's doing. How far back did you park? How close can you get? Every situation is different.

So in this case, the street was very long and there were other cars parked on the side of the road. So I was able to just parallel park and I could see what he was doing. blend in with other cars. But again, getting later at night, you can get busted more easily because there's less cars to blend in with. So the fewer cars on the road and you're the only one sticking out. It just gets really difficult with this kind of situation, right? Yeah. Well, finally, a woman comes out of the townhouse. She walks directly to the passenger side of the car, but she didn't behave like an Uber passenger. Like, you know, when you get an Uber, you look at the tag number and you're looking into the window like, hi. And they're like, are you, are you McKenzie? Are you the,

one and you're like, yeah, and then you confirm and then you get in the backseat or whatever. You're supposed to ask them, hi, what's my name? Because that way you can confirm that they are your driver. There's also a safety feature where you can turn on a pin. So you have to give them a pin. Pen number, yep. Yeah. People don't know that.

Okay, keep going. Sorry, just have to say. No, it's true. I'm glad that you point that out because that is, you know, for safety. But she opens the door. She doesn't look at her phone or check the license plate. None of those stuff that I would do and that I feel like most women should do.

But more importantly, Jason leans across the center console before she gets inside. Like, I guess to, I don't know. Yeah, you don't know, but we can imagine. But we can imagine. So he leans across the center console. She smiles, she gets in, whatever. What's going through your head when you see that?

Every stop he would make, I was like, oh, is this it? Is this it? It's so everything. So every stop, I was like, this is it. And so I'm like, you know, every time. So I was just like the other stops. I was like, oh, this is her. She's going to be the flusy, whatever.

Well, she gets into the car and they kiss. Like they, he leans over his center console. She meets him halfway and they kiss. So I'm like, this is the one. Bingo, bingo. Not him. The windows are tened, but not dark tened. Like I can see silhouettes.

I just can't see super clear, but you can see inside the vehicle. Kind of romantic. Right? And there's street lights and he's parked in front of a streetlight. So the streetlights coming into his windshield, and I'm looking at his car from the back. So you can see pretty clearly. Like you can see the silhouettes pretty clearly what's going on. So they kiss.

I get the video. And that alone was enough to confirm Melissa's suspicions, right? But the strangest, like the most interesting evidence was not yet. Like we didn't get that yet. So they do their thing. They kiss. They're hanging out. And they drive around for a little bit together.

They drive to a plaza with a CVS, like a Walgreens, like McDonald's, like, McDonald's, like, places that are 24 hours, they drove there together and they would come back. It wasn't more than 30 minutes. They weren't even going in and getting stuff? No, but they would sit in the parking lot. And so I'm thinking, okay, I see why he's doing that. He's making it look like he's taking someone here and then waiting and then going back.

So I could see at the end how, oh, he could write this office. Oh, it was an Uber pickup. Oh, that bises me off because, okay, first of all, ladies don't sleep with a married man. But if you're sleeping with any man and he is like, yeah, I'll hang out with you, but only at 1140 at night, we have to make a couple of drives to make it look like I'm in my car. So he drops this woman back off at the house. And remember, I don't really share this information right away. I try to wait and give it space because there's a lot of things that happen when people get angry right away and people react out of instant anger, right? And so I try to be really careful how I provide this information. So I called her the next day when I knew that he was. wasn't home. I said, I want to talk to you when he's not around because if they, you know, whatever. And I couldn't. Sure. We didn't have a chance to meet up. So I ended up calling her. Anyways,

I tell her the information. That night, Melissa confronts Jason and he denies everything. He's like, that didn't happen. That's not true. And by this point, I hadn't sent her the video because it's it's a process. You got to upload it to a whole big thing. I only told her what happened so far. Oh, no. And I'm scared for her to tell him that she hired a PI because I feel like a lot of men would not handle that. Yeah, it's usually not handled well. But he insisted that the woman that he picked up, he said that's a regular Uber passenger.

She had just become a friend. And so when she tells him, yeah, when she tells him this PI got you kissing and he's like, he claimed that the video was misleading and that from the angle of the surveillance video, a hug could look like a kiss. And he admits that he hugged her, but he never kissed her.

Like the video. Then explain why you drove her to CVS and nobody got out. Right, exactly. So then he makes a mistake. Jason says, if you don't believe me, check the dash cam. You'll see that there was nobody that I made out with. I was thinking about the dash cam. I wondered if that was ax if you could access that.

So here's the thing is that he told her, go check the dash cam. And you'll see that none of that ever happened. Well, the dash cam videotapes the traffic in front of you, but it also videotapes inside the car. And with Uber, I don't know if it's required, but I know that now I think it is or maybe it's offered. I know sometimes. I know sometimes I get into an Uber and it says, just letting you know, you could, you're going to be recorded. So he had a dual facing dash cam and he actually got his after a drunk driver had damaged his car the previous year. And then he was in this whole litigation.

So he was like, let me get a dash cam. So from now on, if something happens, I can prove, you know, that was the only reason he actually got the dash cam. And so anyways, it records the interior for, you know, his protection, passengers, whatever. He can document everything, which is great. And he was confident that his footage would tell the story. And he tells Melissa to check the dash cam,

but he thought that it only records when he's doing the Uber, because that's all he needs to. And I don't know if this is manual. Like turn it on, turn it off, turn on, turn off situation. Either way, the camera didn't only record while he was actively transporting a passenger. It happened to catch a kiss or two. A pet. Yeah.

And so Melissa pulls out the memory card, right? And she goes to the previous surveillance. And they had already been overwritten. Okay. So the time had passed. They'd already been over. but there was one clip that she still found and it was the townhouse clip. The same exact video that I got from outside the car,

she got the same exact video from inside the car from the opposite, from the front. So now you have his dash cam and my surveillance video showing the same exact thing from two different. Man. The timestamps were exact to the second, to the second. So for his camera, it shows her opening the, door, gets inside, she kisses him. And she can also hear because it's recording audio.

I was going to say, does it? Okay, cool. Now, Florida is a two-party consent state. So you have to have two parties consent to audio. But if you accept a ride and it says you will be recorded inside this vehicle, you're basically saying, okay, I consent. What about the fact that this passenger was not accepting a ride technically. Because it's his private property? I don't think so. I think you still have to have two-party consent. Anybody could probably fight and say, like,

oh, but she didn't have, yeah, it's inadmissible, but it's still you, she can still watch it. Like that doesn't mean it don't exist. Like, she still can see it, right? So she pulls this footage and the whole time that they are in the car and they're driving to CVS and McDonald's, they are laughing. And she even mentions the camera.

She said, oh, he said, no, that's okay. It only records when I'm doing Uber. Like he told her it was not recording. And he starts talking about how when the wife goes out of town again, and they're making plans for when they're going to meet up. And they're talking about how she can actually come to his house now. And they don't have to just sit in the car and all of this stuff. And so they're actually having a conversation.

laughing at her, which, by the way, when I talked to her the last time, she wasn't mad that he was cheating because I feel like she already knew. So she was like already over it. Like she already had processed it. So she wasn't super angry. But she was mad that they were mocking her in a car that has her name. Her name is on this vehicle that she's paying for. And they're in her car talking shit about her, about how they're going to cheat on her next and how when she goes out of town, they're going to get together. Both of these people need help. Like, that is so mean. Yeah, it's so mean. And imagine you're calling me, you're already vulnerable because you're calling me, right? And so you're already, like, ashamed, a little embarrassed that you have to call a PI to

see if your man's cheating, but also to find out that you're being mocked and made fun of or whatever. But I hope she had a good cry and then said, all right, fucker, let's go. Now I'm armed with evidence. Right. Well, she ends up getting a hold of Uber and gets him banned from ever driving from Uber again. And I don't know exactly how, but she basically said that he was manipulating their system or something. I don't know what she told them, but I know she was like, I got him banned. She told me that she got him banned from driving Uber ever again.

She did divorce him. Like she said, that's it. I'm done. Like, you're not going to make fun of me. Like, she's like, fuck cheating on me. She said, you're not going to make fun of me. Like, 100%. You hurt my feelings.

That's one thing. You hurt my pride. Forget it. Bye. Like, bye. And so. Wasting time saying he's getting, like, just, it's an icky cheating story. Like, you're just kind of a douche.

Yeah. Not that anybody who's cheating isn't a douche. But I don't know. It's just like gross. The girl he's sleeping with. I'm like, what's your story too? Like, why are you putting up with a guy like this? Yeah, what are you doing?

Like, if he does this with you, he'll do this to you. Yeah, and you're obviously laughing along. It's very, they say, pick me. You know, pick me behavior where she's like, yeah, your wife sucks. I'll put up with treatment that sucks. Go to therapy. Well, and also what's interesting is that he told her to check the camera. And she was like, oh, yeah, light bulb, duh.

Why didn't I think of that? He told her to check the camera and she did. and he was a little bit cocky and got himself busted. But I feel like also, first of all, don't do that to people, but also looking back, I wonder if he took the Uber job so that he could cheat. Or did it just turn out that he was like, oh, wait, I could actually get away with this, with this job. Like, I wonder if it was like before or during.

That's a good question. And without that dash cam footage, I don't know if we'll ever know. I mean, it could, it's very easy to go either way. I'm sure you could see it as an opportunity as you keep going. The same way that if you surround yourself with a group of friends who start cheating or a job where you're traveling along, people are cheating. It's like, the opportunity. Once you see the opportunity, yeah, it becomes a little more appealing, I think.

Yeah. How did he meet this mistress? Okay. Not a clue. And what did he say when she divorced him? Do we know that? I don't know, but all I know is that he, she got the car. It was her car.

So she kept it, sold it, whatever, took the money. And they no longer lived together. He's single. He lives with his mom now. And the girl, I ended up pulling up her house information and found out who she was, duh. And anyway, she's public record. Public record. She's single.

He's single living with his mom. And my client actually has now moved on and had a baby with a new guy. And she seems fully happy according to her social media. I hope she is happy. And I hope the other two are thinking about what they did to put it nicely. He told her to check the camera. Yeah, well, he got coffee. Like, y'all, it's 2026.

Can we just all assume that we're all being video recorded? Honestly, I think, smart thing to do. See, the key word there is smart. And the people doing this, they're so overconfident, I think. I think so much of cheating comes down to just this, whether you believe it truly or you're just compartmentalizing logic and you're saying, it's careless too. There's no way it's going to happen or she catches me.

There's no way this is as bad as everybody else that cheats. Like you just are able to justify it somehow and I don't get it. I don't get it. I don't either. I really don't. Man, I'm so excited for the people who listen to us that drive for ride chair because one, I bet you y'all got some stories. Don't use it to cheat.

Exactly. Exactly. I bet that you have heard the craziest tea where people are sitting in the back seat talking to their friend after a night out and you're just like, hmm, hmm. And obviously you respect your client's privacy. But if you wanted to anonymously send us some of the crazy things you've heard, I won't stop you. Right. Yeah. I mean, how many people do you think cheat in the back of an Uber, like the back of a taxi or whatever? It's like. Yeah. Okay. That's another one. I want to know stories. Like have you ever got picked up somebody who you were like, oh my God, like they are not. I picked him up from his house with his wife and children. And now I'm picking up another woman.

And I was hoping, I don't know if it happened, but I was like, meet people here. Like, meet people who listen to this podcast or a podcast similar.

It doesn't even just have to be dating detectives. I only say that because I know the people listening to this have the same feelings about honesty. Like minded individuals, yeah. Yes, and about being decent people and relationships and wanting love. Like, you're all, as much as you say you're cynical and you don't trust people, you wouldn't be here if you didn't believe that you deserve love because that's what we're all looking for. Yeah, humans innately want that interaction. Like, we want that connection with someone else.

Totally. And I just think I was talking to my cousin last night who was young and just starting dating. And he was like, yeah, it's really tough for guys on dating apps. And I was like, it's true. I really think, yes, apps are great, but go out, join a class. He might do like a running club or something because I was like, I think it's just nice to have a group of people to potentially introduce you to somebody who introduces you to somebody.

And it's like a safer way to meet people. Yeah, I agree. But then my brother's fiance and I made him do a photo shoot for his hinge as well. Because sometimes not my brother, my cousin, because we were like, we got you. That's the other thing you can do. Get your girls or your friends together to do dating out photo shoots. It's not cringe.

I love that. It's the way to do it. I love that so much. Get a picture at the dating detectives live show wherever it is next. Maybe we've been talking about potential next stops. Oh, I can't wait. I've had a few drivers that were like definitely religious, which is fine, and until they start doing the thing where you're like, are you trying to convert me? Are you trying to recruit me to your cult right now? Because I'm just trying to get to the airport

But usually I just let him talk. I'm big on just yes anding, as they say. Because if they want to talk, if I'm able to listen, it's like you never know what you're going to get. It's just always an interesting, interesting scenario. I've yet to join a cult based on an Uber driver. But time will tell. I want to drive Uber just so I can eavesdrop on people.

Like, you know, most people have found a fear of missing out. but also phobia fear of being involved. Like you want to know what's going on, but you don't want to be involved in it. You just want to, that's why my PI stories I can legally tell you blew up so big. And that's why podcasts like this are crazy and true crime because you want to know the most diabolical shit,

but you don't want to be a part of it. No, no, no. And yeah, being an Uber driver or any kind of rideshare driver, we were joking before we recorded. We were talking about Uber. And then I was like, and we are open. Just the way we say, like, it's not always women telling their stories here.

We're open to men. not always Uber, we are open to lift. We are open podcast. Yes. But yeah, no, it's like the perfect place to overhear some crazy stuff. Anyways, I just thought it would be so funny to tell that story in line with your Uber story. No, that's a good one.

A lot of people listen to us that drive Uber or that, you know, just spend a lot of time in their car. So if you're one of those, we want to hear your stories. Like, you've got to give it up. I'm so numb to it. that it's not interesting anymore, not that it's not another day at the office. It loses that like, oh my goodness, really? Like, yeah, it's just another day at the office. So then when I tell these stories and people are like, wait, what? And then it reinvigorates that interest in investigation and, you know, obtaining information. And I'm really good at social engineering and, you know, getting information from people in a way that makes them feel like their, it's their idea. So good.

You know what I mean? Yeah, I was thinking about how you say law enforcement typically can't do a lot of things, such as going into a house without a warrant. But you can socially engineer your way in. And I was like, she's like a vampire. If she's invited, she can do anything. I'm a vampire. If you invite her in, she can come in.

If you invite me in, I can come in. Exactly. I love that so much. It's so funny. Especially since you have your vampire teeth tattoo on your shoulder. I love, I didn't even think about it that way, but yeah, I love that. Now, I can't unsee it. Aw.
