Starting point is 00:00:00 FBD doesn't stand for friendly business ducks. Or for the freelance beatbox department. FBD stands for support. We support businesses and communities across Ireland. Visit your local branch to talk to your FBD insurance team and see how we can support your business. FBD Insurance. Support. It's what we do. FBD Insurance Group Ltd. Trading as FBD Insurance. Support. It's what we do. FBD Insurance Group Limited.
Starting point is 00:00:26 Trading as FBD Insurance is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. All right, welcome back and joining us now is Gerald Cilenti. I haven't talked to Gerald for a couple of weeks now
Starting point is 00:00:39 because we were out on one weekend and on Easter weekend and things like that. There's been some very exciting news. And, of course, Gerald has been in contact with our Kay Jr. because of the Occupy piece and other things.
Starting point is 00:00:52 I know we want to start there. Gerald Cilenti, Trends Journal is a publication. It comes out on a weekly basis, hundreds of pages. It's a great online magazine. And you'll find it at trendsjournal.com. And, of course, Gerald has been kind enough to offer a 10 discount to anybody who uses the code night to subscribe to trends journal as well thank you for joining us gerald oh thank you for having me you know before we go to rfk you're talking about
Starting point is 00:01:17 potholes and you know the united states watch just sent about another 360 million dollars of our money to um ukraine to keep bloodying the killing fields yeah and we've sent now the number is around 125 billion and you look at the defense budgets year after year after year and uh when you put it in what they call intelligence which is an oxymoron there's nothing intelligent about the cia the nsa homeland security that they gave us a bs thing that they gave us after uh george w bush's war on terror it's over a trillion dollars yeah and when you look at all the wars that America's fought, I believe it's 19 since the end of World War II. And the countless trillions, probably easily 100 trillion into the defense budget and wars since then.
Starting point is 00:02:19 Could you imagine if all of that money went into our, quote, infrastructure and into our economy, what this country would be. Oh, yeah, absolutely. And that was a lot of what R.K. Jr. was talking about. And that but, you know, you talk about there's no intelligence in the intelligence community. There's also no security coming from the national security. They're actually putting us at risk with these wars in a big way. And, you know, it was like. And, uh, you know,
Starting point is 00:02:45 it was like Trump said, well, you forget about global warming, think about nuclear warming, but just take a look at the hypocrisy as these people come after cryptocurrency and say, we've got to shut it down because of the amount of energy that it's using.
Starting point is 00:02:56 And as you know, it's going to make us all too hot or whatever. Uh, and, and yet they have absolutely no problem at all with the energy that's being consumed in the war, the bombs that are blowing up. That stuff doesn't count at all, does it? You know, just the ordinary conventional warfare or what the intelligence community is doing to spy on us, to create biometric databases, to scrape everything and create AI and to create these massive databases and store the information and mine the information that is many many times more uh energy being used than the crypto miners are using it's just absurd
Starting point is 00:03:31 how they focus on one thing the new york times did and actually even the children's health defense fund actually did that talking about all the energy that's being used by the crypto community ignoring all the rest of the stuff that's going on even with the war it's amazing yeah yeah and again you mentioned about you know the nsa where there was an article about how much energy they use over there where they where they're located and uh yeah yeah bluffdale utah where they have water problems and they're using more water than the cities large cities are using out there for their one facility not to mention the electricity and then they've got a sister mirror site that's back in i think maryland or somewhere close to washington dc as well it's disgusting what's happened to this country it's declined in front of our eyes when you look at when you look at the infrastructure it's a joke
Starting point is 00:04:20 it's a disgusting potholes everywhere i i just took a trip yesterday i drove somewhere 20 minutes and and the roads you know boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom you know everywhere you go and and again this country is declined in front of our eyes physically emotionally and spiritually yes it's right in front of us you know i just brought my sister up from a nursing home every time i would go see her and she was one of the best places you know she was dead and now she's a whole different person so anyway i have a sitting now she hasn't seen people she had two strokes you know she went through a lot of stuff and she hasn't seen people outside a nursing home like in 10 years so now i
Starting point is 00:05:01 have a sitting in front of my building you know up here where i am yeah and she's in a wheelchair and she can hardly talk and she's watching people walk by and she's going oh oh oh she hasn't seen people in over 10 years and she sees these blimps with pink hair and and guys like looking like fre, and she's blown away. She's blown away. Are they wearing masks too? Are they wearing masks? Yes, some of them are wearing, yeah. Anyway, this whole society is declined in front of us.
Starting point is 00:05:37 Our infrastructure, we don't have high-speed rail in this country. They have it all over the world. Look at China. Look at Japan. Look at Europe. And look at America. So anyway, going back to RFK Jr., he is repeating basically word for word what the foundation of Occupy Pieces, which I launched back in 2015. And I had
Starting point is 00:06:03 Ralph Nader, Cindy Sheehan robert thurman gary null uh paul craig roberts are some of the speakers and he's saying we got to close these bases overseas yeah no kidding we've been saying that too yeah close the bases oh you know what he's saying let's put these troops and secure the homeland with them oh that's what we say too yeah and then we also say let's put the troops to work to rebuild our third world infrastructure a work progress administration that they did during the 1930s now for the 2023 number four if you want to go to war fine let the people vote yes yes you want to send our money over there let the people vote no you congressmen don't represent us you represent who pays you off
Starting point is 00:06:57 morons and imbeciles call it campaign contributionsults call it bribes and payoffs. That's right. You're stealing my money and I work hard and I don't want it going to a foreign country. Oh, but you got to send $3 billion to Israel every year. Oh, Tel Aviv, one of the richest cities in the world. But they steal our money to kill Palestinians, to bomb Syria. Oh, they could do anything they want. Israel has the right to protect itself and kill anybody it wants, like America.
Starting point is 00:07:35 That's right. Anybody that wants to go support another war, take your money, go over there and fight. Take your wife, your partners, your transgender everythings, go over there and fight. Send your money or shut your damn mouth. Yeah, I agree. I agree. I've had it.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Yeah, I agree. I've had it. We got a freak show in front of us in a country near you. Look at the little slime balls that are running the world. Oh, you look up to Macron. How about that other jerk, that Boris Johnson? Now he got that, what's his name? Sundack, Sunyak.
Starting point is 00:08:19 His wife that makes all these deals making money. Oh, yeah, the guy's playing prime minister now yeah in the uk i call him rishi rich you know yeah his first name is rishi uh and uh he really is like little richie rich you know he's he's he's just an arrogant little nothing yeah he's going to all the private schools and the you know what would be ivy league schools here in the u.s you know he's gone through all that his family is incredibly rich he is rishi rich yeah he's part of the inside group what's his name again uh rishi uh uh sunak i think it is but i just call him yeah call him by his first name rishi rich yeah like i call lala harris you know it they uh the she's kind of checked out, so I call her Lala instead of Kamala.
Starting point is 00:09:06 So anyway, we sent out a press release to a couple of thousand in the major media. As you well know, I have been saying RFK Jr. for president now since December. saying rfk jr for president now since december one show after another that he would be the best candidate to run and judge napolitano for vice president that would be my pick so anyway we i was the first one to call rfk jr for president and he can win i'll tell you as paul just like just before i got on the air it's just i just saw this only about half of democrats think president joe biden should run again in 2024 well he's dropping like a rock associated he's associated press norc center
Starting point is 00:10:02 for public affairs research They had a poll earlier this week and it was like only 69% support him. So now it's down to half. In this latest poll, he's dropping like a rock. Yep. The poll research shows that 26% of Americans overall
Starting point is 00:10:20 want to see President run again. And 47% of Democrats said they want him to run again so that it's nothing yeah it's nothing and all they're doing when they talk about rfk jr running all they do is say things like well I'll give you an example. All right, this is the New York Times yesterday. It was hardly reported that he announced on Wednesday. This is the New York Times. They had it on page A16, buried in the paper.
Starting point is 00:11:00 16 pages into the newspaper. Robert F. Kennedy makes his White House run official. Here's into the newspaper. Robert F. Kennedy makes his white house run official. Here's the first line. Announcing his long shot bid to challenge president Biden. Hey, wait a minute. You're supposed to be a reporter.
Starting point is 00:11:18 Oh yeah. Just supposed to report that he's running. Not that it's a long shot bid. Jerk. Little scum. Little low life. prostitute goes on mr kennedy a california resident traveled to boston once a citadel of his family's power to declare that he would challenge president Biden for Democratic nomination. You ready? And a long shot bid for the White House. Two paragraphs, two long shot bids.
Starting point is 00:11:54 Number two. Anti-vaccine activist Robert Kennedy Jr. launches 2024 presidential bid. This is from the Cart news network cnn i googled up yesterday rfk or excuse me wednesday when he announced it rfk jr running for president hardly an article came up that's right i did the same thing and you know i read one of them that was you probably have it in your stack there but i think it was political or somebody they had you know anti-vaccine at the headlines and then everything that they did was attacking him well you know this has been disproven and all the rest of this stuff and uh and and it was factually wrong in terms of some of the things that they said about him but it was always hitting him about the anti-vaccine thing and most of them as you
Starting point is 00:12:44 point out didn't even carry it as a matter of fact i think the only place that he actually got an interview was with tucker carlson and tucker carlson was saying look i don't agree with you on every issue but i think you have some very important things to say here and i'm surprised that you know cnn and msnbc none of them abc cbs nbc none of them are going to talk to him they're not going to cover it there was an article that, in terms of talking about it, the way the Washington Post covered it was pretty much to ignore it and to have a 15-page article about the fact that Biden is thinking about announcing maybe next week.
Starting point is 00:13:20 They ignore the candidate that announces that jumps in with a 14% in the polls. They ignore him, and they talk about the fact that Biden might announce maybe next week. It's crazy to see how this acts. And the other thing that Tucker said at the very end of it, he goes, look, I know that a lot of these other places don't want to have you on because you criticize their sponsors. In other words, you're talking about Pfizer, Moderna, you know, they're all brought to you by Pfizer. But he goes, I think it needs to be said and so he knows exactly what it is that they don't want to have him on because of the opposition of big pharmaceutical companies yep and so the CNN anti-vaccine activist right they begin it by Robert F. Kennedy, the anti-vaccine activist, described himself as a truth teller who will end the division as he wants his bit.
Starting point is 00:14:10 First paragraph, right? Anyway, on the page, the homepage of CNN, no coverage at all. Yeah. No coverage at all. So the deal is this. This is from antiwar.com. RFK Jr. launches presidential bid. Vows to unwind U.S. Empire.
Starting point is 00:14:39 Yeah. On Wednesday, blah, blah, blah, blah, vows to unwind. Kennedy called for scaling down the U.S. military presence around the globe. Quote, I'm going to bring the troops home. Occupy peace. I'm going to close the bases. Occupy peace. And I'm going to start investing in the U.S. middle class.
Starting point is 00:15:07 We will bring the troops home. We will stop racking up unpayable debt to fight one war after another. The military will return to its proper role as defending the homeland. Defending the homeland, occupy peace. Concerning the Ukraine war, the website says, quote, the most important priority is to end the suffering of the Ukrainian people. Exactly what we write in the Trends Journal. Victims of a brutal Russian invasion and exactly the overthrow of the democratically elected government of Viktor Yanukovych, as detailed in your Trends Journal, 2014. So, FBD doesn't stand for friendly business ducks, or for the freelance beatbox department. FBD stands for support. We support businesses and communities across Ireland.
Starting point is 00:16:12 Visit your local branch to talk to your FBD insurance team and see how we can support your business. FBD Insurance. Support. It's what we do. FBD Insurance Group Limited, trading as FBD Insurance, is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. Kennedy could win this race. And it's going to be, I think it's going to be between
Starting point is 00:16:35 Kennedy and Trump. That's my bet. And the bet is that the people will go, more people will go for Kennedy. Well, that's optimistic. I don't think that Trump is going to win. I think that's one of the reasons why they're pushing him in.
Starting point is 00:16:54 And if you stop and look at what has happened with Trump over the last month, he tripled what he'd made the previous month over what he had made the previous two or three months. He tripled it simply because, you know look, what this guy is doing, this Manhattan DA, even Trump's opponents saying you're making him into a hero, into a martyr. I know. But I think that Chris Christie is right.
Starting point is 00:17:17 I think any Republican could beat, if it's Biden, any Republican could beat Biden except Trump because he's such a polarizing, hateful figure at this point. I mean, you just look at the way he's already acting in the Republican side of things. He doesn't want to talk about issues. He wants to go with these juvenile attacks. He wants to go straight for the jugular. And it was so refreshing, even though I've got a lot of issues, as I pointed out, my big concern about RFK Jr., if you talk to him, you need to tell him he needs to talk about, you know, 10, 15 years ago, he was saying, I said, when we talked about this before, I said, my big concern with him is climate. And he was very radical on climate. 10, 15 years ago, he was saying, we ought to put climate deniers in jail.
Starting point is 00:18:06 We need to shut them up and even put them in jail. Now, maybe in the ensuing years and what we have seen with all the censorship that has happened in the last five years, maybe he's changed his mind on that, but he needs to say it. He didn't address it in the speech that he had. He did talk about censorship, but he didn't address his previous calls for censorship and even jailing of people like me because I've been a climate denier all my life. Not denying climate, but denying there is a climate.
Starting point is 00:18:34 And I deny what they're saying about the climate. So that type of thing needs to be addressed very clearly. And he needs to make it clear where he is on the environment because the the climate macguffin is still there it's been something that has been used to claim that they can take everything from us you know whether it's your transportation or your housing or your food all of these things they're holding a gun to our head and saying well um if you don't get rid of these things we're all going to die on the planet. So he needs to really address that, I think.
Starting point is 00:19:07 I agree with you. Again, I met him when I did a talk for Ron Paul at Ron Paul's War on Us event in 2021 in D.C. And I was a speaker just before him. So at the cocktail party the night before, we met. And when he did the movie by the way um the real anthony fauci um celine celia farber plays a big role in it and i said to him you know you know celia farby so yeah of course i saw his sister used to work for me bb you know oh you know so we had a conversation
Starting point is 00:19:40 like that and so i did meet him and talk to him and i agree with you and again you don't you don't agree with everybody on everything you know husband and wife don't agree on everything you know so there's always differences well that was uh he addressed that very cleverly in terms of his family because when they would talk i noticed when i looked at you know across the board at the reports of it again they're hitting him as anti-vaccine and he's crazy and his family said he was crazy because and he was going to kill people because they weren't going to get the vaccine it's like seriously are you that crazy that you don't realize it's the vaccine that killed people but you know they did that and then you know they also mentioned that is i think
Starting point is 00:20:18 it was his sister or something that called him dangerous because he was pushing back on the Trump shot. But they highlight the fact that his family was against him. And what he did at the beginning of the speech, I thought a couple of things he did at the beginning of the speech were really good. But after he laid out his general agenda about opposing crony capitalism and tying it back, not just to the, um, you know, Concord and Lexington, which it was the anniversary of it on Wednesday, but also tying it to the Boston tea party.
Starting point is 00:20:50 Then he started talking about his family. And, and so he starts pointing to people and calling out names and he says, and it was a long list of names he's going on. And he said, I told him to wear a name tag. So I wouldn't forget making a joke about that. And he says, and then of course, there's a lot of people in my family that don't support me. And unlike every other American family, we have disagreements in our family.
Starting point is 00:21:11 So he makes a joke of it that way, right? Because every family, you know that everybody's got different opinions and they're not going to be with it. But that was what the media wants to make it about the fact that they want to take away the Kennedy reputation within the Democrat Party. So they want to make it about the fact that all of his family opposes him. And, of course, he had a very long list of people who were there with his family to support him. So I thought he handled that pretty well. Again, I said that, I don't know, you talk about Trump losing.
Starting point is 00:21:40 I agree he'll lose, but I think he's going to be the candidate. Yes, I do. You know, it was interesting. One the candidate yes I do you know it was interesting one of the one of the publications said you know Steve Bannon has been recruiting um RFK Jr. to run for a while he wants him as a chaos uh agent you know in the Democrat primary and it's like well you know Alvin Bragg and the Democrats want Trump as a chaos agent and the Republicans, if anything else, you know,
Starting point is 00:22:07 and, and he's far more chaotic than RFK Jr. Would be to the Democrats. RFK Jr. Is going to be very chaotic to the military industrial complex and big pharmaceutical companies. I'm very excited that he's running because there's a lot of key issues that you and I talk about that need to be addressed. I don't know that I would vote for him uh because
Starting point is 00:22:25 of the environmental issue and and things like that but on the environment yeah on the environmental issue that's one issue that's right but it's a key one i think it's fundamental only one issue and and by the way if he comes out for it in a very positive way, like saying we have to, we're being killed by these forever chemicals that are in everywhere. The plastic is in all our bodies. I agree. If he comes out in that way, he's going to get the younger vote.
Starting point is 00:22:59 Yeah, that's right. I agree about that. You know, when we talk about the EPA that was created by Richard Nixon, I said, you know, and I talked about a guy that I worked with to oppose these, you know, this climate MacGuffin, I call it. But, you know, he signed up with them when the EPA was there. It was about pollution, right? It was about environmental pollution.
Starting point is 00:23:19 And then its mission changed. And now it is emission prohibition. And they're using emissions to prohibit everything in our life. And then its mission changed, and now it is emission prohibition. And they're using emissions to prohibit everything in our life. And so it is metastasized into that. So he needs to make a distinction about what he wants to do. Look, everybody wants to clean up the environment. Nobody likes pollution.
Starting point is 00:23:39 But that's not the mission of the EPA. So if he talks about it in that regard, but we need to understand where he is in terms of banning stuff, because that's what the government is all about now. They don't want to fix any roads. They want to ban cars instead. That's why they're not fixing the roads, because there's not going to be any cars. That's not why they're fixing it. They haven't fixed the roads in decades. That's right. The whole thing's been going down.
Starting point is 00:24:00 Yeah. So going back to him, he needs to get different people you know different sectors of society and the young people will vote for him and and that's very important and again you don't agree with him on everything but the big issues on the war on on on the freedom of oh no jab no job oh by the way he's taking shots at trump yeah but trump's operation warped speed that's right saying he's the guy that gave it to us and also lockdown you know he talked a lot about lockdown i read what he had to say about uh one businessman there who lost everything and wound up 250 000 in debt trying to save his business because of lockdown.
Starting point is 00:24:46 It's absolutely criminal what was done to us, and we need to have somebody. He's very articulate and very passionate about those issues, and we need to talk about the lockdown, the censorship, the war. All these different things need to be talked about. Nobody else wants to really talk about it, so it's great to have that there. And again, just in general general though i i'm to the point where i don't believe in the authenticity of elections i think there's any number of ways that they can rig it you know we're talking about how they're rigging it right now with the media
Starting point is 00:25:15 but of course you know getting people on the ballot uh running as a third party candidate a lot of people say why does he run as a third party candidate well he'd never get on the ballot as a third party candidate uh he'd never get in debates as a third party candidate well he'd never get on the ballot as a third party candidate uh he'd never get in the debates as a third party candidate and so that's the thing i'm happy about is the fact that he's going to be in the debates and can you imagine seeing a debate between the crystal space cadet uh woman who's running a marianne williamson and the senile space cadet joe and RFK Jr. I mean, that's going to be an entertaining show to see that. And so he's going to make some very important points.
Starting point is 00:25:52 They're not going to be answered by that pair. I don't know who they're going to pull in. It's kind of interesting to see Michelle Obama is making the rounds again now and talking about gun control. Maybe they would think that they can get her in as a ringer at the last minute because they don't have – Biden's not going to be able to handle him it's he's going to drop he's already dropping like a rock it went from 69 percent of democrats who said they would support him you quote a poll that was two or three days ago another poll that just came out shows that
Starting point is 00:26:18 his support is at 49 percent wait till the debates happen and you see this guy can't think on his feet or anything else it's really it is they're going to have to pull in somebody like, uh, Michelle Obama to come up against RFK Jr. If they don't want him as a nominee. Yeah. Michelle Obama will go nowhere. Yeah. I hope not.
Starting point is 00:26:36 She'll go nowhere. So anyway, that's the way we see it. And, um, I I'm very pleased that, you know i don't you know i haven't voted i haven't voted in a presidential election since i voted for ron paul 2012 i haven't voted for any i don't vote for lesser of two evils there's no such thing it's like saying almost that's like saying almost pregnant yeah that's right by the way ron paul when we mentioned ron paul made me think about the fact that the guy who introduced him, gave a long introduction to him, was Dennis Kucinich. And Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich, even though they disagree on a lot of fundamental issues, they have a very different perspective on the purpose of government and how it interacts with individuals. The two of them were friends because they were honest, you know, that they weren't for sale. And so that was a good recommendation and a good move for him
Starting point is 00:27:29 to have Dennis Kucinich there introducing him. I met Dennis when I did the Rage Against the War Machine rally. He was one of the speakers. Along with, of course, Ron Paul was there too. Yeah, that's right. And by the way we're again for everyone listening we're having a peace and freedom rally in kingston new york and david was at one of them he was a great speaker at one of them and kingston on may 27th may 27th
Starting point is 00:27:59 we have gary null judge andrew napolitano, Frank Marano, and John Whitehead. Oh, yeah. I know John Whitehead. I just read an article about John Whitehead. He's defending a guy who, as the judge put a restriction order on him, gag order on him. He put up three posts. He's a Christian, a street preacher. He put up three quotes about
Starting point is 00:28:27 the Bible, critical of what a church in Oklahoma was doing, never went to Oklahoma. And now he's got a restriction order of what he can post on the internet. I mean, that's where we are now. It's absolutely getting crazy, totally crazy. Let's talk a little bit about what's going on with the dollar because we've had a lot of uh changes in the last couple of weeks and there's a lot of things that have come out of last week i've been talking about how the bank of international settlements has now run a second project trial the project icebreaker how you've got some uh new organization to me that i've never heard of uh digital currencyrency Authority, which is an international organization tied to the IMF.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Every country is working at some point on this central bank digital currency. And you've got the big supranational organizations like the IMF and Bank of International Sett settlements also working on their projects. Um, talk about, uh, where this stuff is headed. Uh, we've got, uh, I know that, uh, RFK jr. Has also talked about the CBDC stuff. There's only two politicians, uh, that have talked about that. And that's, uh, him and DeSantis running for president.
Starting point is 00:29:40 They both talked about the CBDC. Uh, what do you think is happening with the dollar? And, um, are we about to lose it? president they both talked about the cbdc uh what do you think is happening with the dollar and um are we about to lose it go back to your april 4th trends journal cover by the brilliant anthony frida death of the dollar god we don't trust it's over the dollar here's the story what's going to happen well you're seeing what's happening you're the katsun macron went to uh china said to she president she we're not going to be quote a vassal of the united states why do you think he went to china why do you think he's pro-chinese because china is going to be the largest economy in the world very shortly. So they're doing business.
Starting point is 00:30:27 That's all it's about. And peace treaties. You know, they brokered peace with enemies in the Middle East, something that the U.S. government claims that they tried to do but never achieved. They claimed they were trying to do it, but they never achieved it. But he actually. I'm saying why Macron went there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:42 Because it's about doing business. That's right. That's right. And then you saw Lula going there, the president of Brazil. And he said, we got it word for word, I'm paraphrasing it, it's in your Trends Journal this week. He said, every night I wake, when I go to sleep, I think, why do we have to trade in dollars? Why can't we trade in our own currencies? Then you're looking at the BRICS, Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa,
Starting point is 00:31:12 and all the other ones joining. They've had enough of the dollar hegemony, the United States hegemony on the financial end. They have enough of the United States hegemony on the military geopolitical end. They have enough of the United States hegemony on the military geopolitical end. They've had it. America has become the country our founding fathers fought against.
Starting point is 00:31:35 Great Britain. The sun never sets on the British Empire. We could go anywhere we want, kill anybody that we want. We must say it properly. FBD doesn't stand for friendly business ducks. Or for the freelance beatbox department. FBD stands for support.
Starting point is 00:31:59 We support businesses and communities across Ireland. Visit your local branch to talk to your FBD insurance team and see how we can support your business. FBD Insurance. Support. It's what we do. FBD Insurance Group Limited, trading as FBD Insurance, is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. Steal everything we want and control them. And then what happens?
Starting point is 00:32:22 You keep doing it, doing it, doing it. After World War war one the pound is dead the dollar's up the united states became the uk what is it eight eight hundred military bases in 800 countries yeah 19 wars 17 19 wars since world war II, and now the dollar's going down. So here's what the deal is. On May 3rd, the bet on Wall Street by 90% of the gamblers that they call investors say that the Federal Reserve is going to raise interest rates 25 basis points. That will keep the dollar up because the dollar is only strong because interest rates are high. And so you can invest in the treasuries and that kind of thing
Starting point is 00:33:13 in other countries and you're getting a return on your money. When they stop interest rates from going up and they start lowering them, which they are going to do in the run-up of the 2024 presidential reality show they do it all the time that's right they lower interest rates before the election so the party in power has more of a shot of winning and you even go back to when volcker the fed head back under reagan at interest rates what 18 or something before the election boom boom boom boom they lowered them quickly quickly and boosted the economy back up so when they lower interest rates, that is going to be the end of the dollar. Because it's not going to have that value of high interest rates. Number two, Saudi Arabia and China, they're dealing now in the Chinese currency, the yuan, not the dollar.
Starting point is 00:34:29 If they take America off the petrodollar, the dollar will crash. We have a $31 trillion debt. When you look at the real number, it's more like $260 trillion. When you put in Social Security, all the other things that they have to pay out. No way we're going to pay that money back. So the death of the dollar has already happened. Now let's go to gold. Gold prices will go down as the dollar goes up because gold and other
Starting point is 00:35:00 commodities are dollar based. So as the dollar goes up currencies around the world get weaker so it costs them more dough to buy gold so gold prices will go down temporarily but so too will the economy because when you start looking at the numbers coming out different manufacturing indexes the The latest one came out. It's in your magazine, the trends journal. It hit the lowest level since May of 2020, May of 2020.
Starting point is 00:35:33 You mean when everything was locked down? Oh, that's where it's at now. Yeah. Wow. So the economy, people have to understand this. When you raise interest rates,
Starting point is 00:35:47 the economy doesn't go down like that. It goes down like that. And now we're there. So your economy is going to go down when they raise interest rates. Again, 25 basis points, very deep. The equity markets are going to go down and gold is going to go down. And then they're going to put a pause in, we're figuring in July, where they won't raise them, and then start lowering them in the run-up of the 2024 election. And again, look who's running our country.
Starting point is 00:36:21 You don't have to be a genius to figure this out. Who's our treasury secretary? Janet Yellen, or as we call her in Italian, Miss Faccia Brut, an ugly freak. The former Fed chair for a long time, yeah. You got it. So now the former Fed chair is our Treasury Secretary. Who's running the government? That's right.
Starting point is 00:36:42 Oh, yeah, absolutely. Well, you know, we look at what is happening with the CBDC stuff. And again, because I see that as the quickest way for them to get the digital ID, total control over what we do. I know there's other ways that they can get it. But, you know, in terms of the timing of that as well, you know, we've got the wholesale leg of it. And, of course, they're going to do that first, you know, the Fed now. And then they're going to do Fed coin at some later point. And all the countries are doing it that way.
Starting point is 00:37:09 The European Central Bank, they dropped hints that they might be doing something in the fall to go the next stage. Do you think that Europe will push into a CBDC before we do because of our election coming up? You think that'll delay that and that the EU might do it before we do? What do you think? It's hard to tell. You know, it's a guessing game at this point. And again, you go back three years ago, March, March of 2020, the cover of the Trends Journal magazine was from dirty cash to digital trash.
Starting point is 00:37:42 That's right. That's right. So it's coming. When it's coming when it comes how it comes it'll come overnight you know and it'll come on something like the russians hacked our banking system yeah that's right we don't have any money left but don't worry about it we got a new coin for you yeah and again they're doing this basically for what you said so they could track every penny we spent where we spent it what we spent it on and so they could get their tax money because these little low like who's your favorite little piece of low life
Starting point is 00:38:15 scum politician crap head that never worked a day in his life are you like marcus the rubio or you like ted cruz yeah or you like lindsey graham you like diane not so feinstein you like chucky schumer these politicians never work they need our money so they could get paid and they steal it from us in the name of taxes that's why they want digital coins look at all these scum politicians that locked down the country to fight the covid war they didn't take any pay cuts no but you got to close your business up some piece america america you got little clowns the wine over there in ohio how can anybody listen to that little jerk oh i listened to the jerk gavin newsom i like uh witless whitmere everyone look at what they've done did any of them take
Starting point is 00:39:13 any pay cuts no they were being financially uh funded by trump to do all that horrible stuff they did you know i mean the money just kept flowing from washington and you know i've talked many times about how you know taking locking everybody down, shutting down their businesses, taking their jobs, and then here's a little bit of stimulus money. Here's a little bit of PPP and all this other kind of stuff. And I always talked about that. I said, you know, they're training us for universal basic income. what rfk jr said in terms of um this particular case of this um this guy had a restaurant and was doing really good until they shut him down and they gave him seventeen thousand dollars and said here you got to spend this within i forget what the period of time was but let's say six weeks
Starting point is 00:39:57 or something because how am i going to spend that i'm even closed you know i don't have any customers and i thought about it and i thought you know that's another aspect when you look at PPP and they gave them this time limit to spend the money. That's one of the things they always talk about with CBDC. We're going to give you free money, but it's going to disappear if you don't spend it within this amount of time. I mean, they laid down in this lockdown. They laid down, you know, conditioning and predictive programming for both UBI as well as CBDC and all of that. It's just amazing when you go back and you look at how they condition people and the tricks that they played on us with this phony pandemic.
Starting point is 00:40:34 It's just amazing. The damage that it's done is incalculable. Yeah. Financially, spiritually, mentally, physically, across the board yeah obesity rates among young kids and other people shooting way up suicide rates way up crime rates way up drug addiction way up businesses now now you're talking about bankruptcies if they're flooding in now and again one of the things that we have forecast that virtually no one is talking about and they're just starting to talk about it now is the office building bust yes i saw that uh district of
Starting point is 00:41:19 columbia is like one uh one large, commercial real estate, uh, concern there losing, I think it was 123 million or something like that. Uh, and that was in Washington DC. And I, I talked about this this week. I said, how in the world do you lose money in Washington DC? That's the only place that's growing about under anything. Cause they're always adding more stuff, but commercial real estate in Washington DC is even circling the drain the reason why is people aren't going back to work yeah they're working from home you know i was just in uh chicago on uh last uh friday saturday and sunday and i lived in chicago by the way for six years back in the 70s when i was a number two guy running a major trade association anyway so, so it was a beautiful day, and I'm out there,
Starting point is 00:42:08 and beautiful street over there, a lot of nice streets. And it was like 80 degrees and beautiful restaurants and the tables and all the chairs down on the tables. No service in the restaurants outside on the beautiful beautiful sidewalk overlooking the canal over there going into the lake michigan you know why because people aren't eating lunch you know why because the office occupancy rate is about 49 percent so all these places that used to serve consumers, commuters, commuters aren't commuting anymore. They're working from home. Now, let's say I'm a guy
Starting point is 00:42:53 that has 10 floors in an office building and people are working home two or three days a week. I don't need 10 floors in. Give me three. I'm the landlord. I have floating loans. That's what most of these commercial loans are. They float. I talked about interest rates going up. Oh, now you got to pay more in your debt. You got to pay more in your debt as you're making a lot less money. You are going to see, we are the only ones talking about this. The three years we warned about this, office building bust, and we made it official this year with one of our top trends for 2023. This is going to bring down the banking sector like you can't believe. You think the housing crisis during the panic of 08 was bad? Hey, you don't have any money?
Starting point is 00:43:46 Don't have any, you owe money? Don worry about it here sign over here we call it a subprime mortgage oh yeah they created that phony bubble this is this is 50 times worse 50 times worse so you're going to start seeing defaults on all of these buildings now the banks now let's go back to it again silicon valley bank when it busted what happened oh they were buying treasuries and other things you know with the money they had but they were buying them when interest rates were very low now they got to sell them because people are defaulting on debt. They got to pay off things. So they not going to have the money.
Starting point is 00:44:32 This thing is going to go down big. It's going to go down hard. And they're just, just now starting to talk about it. That's right. Yeah. The commercial real estate. You're right.
Starting point is 00:44:44 The commercial real estate is just another one of these legs that's going to come in there. You know what we saw with the Silicon Valley Bank and some of these others, the fact that they almost had to buy into the treasuries, and then the Fed started raising the interest rates so rapidly, 75 basis points and doing it like every month. A lot of them, unless they were really, really good, they couldn't cover themselves. So that's a big first part of the scandal.
Starting point is 00:45:11 Then people see these big banks fail. They start withdrawing their money from the small and medium-sized banks and say, I want to put it in the biggest ones because they're going to be too big to fail. And so you've got this big drain there. And now you've got the commercial real estate. I mean, it looks like the banking industry is just going to be devastated. And, of course, that's going to affect everybody.
Starting point is 00:45:30 It's going to be another one of these things, just like the reserve currency status. We've got so many different storms that are headed to us all at the same time, don't we? Yeah. This is an article from the Financial Times this week. U.S. pension fund braced for real estate write downs. They go on to say, you ready? Office real estate is probably down about 20% in value. Just based on the rise of interest rates, Christopher Alleman said,
Starting point is 00:46:08 he's the guy talking to Financial Times, quote, our real estate consultants spoke to the board last month and said that they felt that real estate was going to have a negative year or two. Oh, last month? Hey, guys, you're a little late on this. Exactly. A year or two? Nah.
Starting point is 00:46:33 I know. They're admitting now it's down 20%. Morgan Stanley is saying it's going to go down 40%. It's going to go down way more than that. Mm-hmm. It's one. Now, they're just another article, Wall Street Journal, Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:46:54 Life insurance companies, until recently, a reliable source of capital is commercial real estate property. No more. So life insurance companies, pension funds, all the rest of the stuff, you know, people look at it. It's like, Oh, commercial real estate. How does that affect me? Well, it's, you know, these,
Starting point is 00:47:13 it's a foundational thing to a lot of these financial institutions and to a lot of things like pension funds and life insurance companies. It's going to have massive effects on everybody. I know you've been talking about this for a couple of years. As soon as they started locking everything down and you had New York turn into a ghost town, I remember when they first started doing this, you saw these pictures of empty streets in New York City. And I remember when we would see, you know, the movies would do something
Starting point is 00:47:40 and I played a clip from the beginning of Breakfast at Tiffany's where you know, Audrey Hepburn is let out of the taxi cab and it played a clip from the beginning of breakfast at tiffany's where uh you know audrey heppern is let out of the taxi cab and it's a completely empty street she's dressed you know to the nines and she's looking at the and there's nobody else on the street as she's looking in the window there at tiffany's and i remember even back in the 60s we'd look at that say you know when have you ever seen new york like that and yet that's the way what they did to new york and you said from the very beginning this is going to be catastrophic for the full you know, when have you ever seen New York like that? And yet that's the way what they did to New York. And you said from the very beginning, this is going to be catastrophic for the full, you know, for our economic system, because of the way commercial
Starting point is 00:48:11 real estate is embedded into everything. And it's just another one of these massive storms that are headed our way financially, isn't it? It is. Yeah. Again, you're let's go back and look at who started this in America. That little freaky guy with the beard, Dorsey, he wrote about it. February 2020, he cancels his trip to South Africa.
Starting point is 00:48:45 COVID's coming. COVID's coming. All you workers at Twitter, go home. Work from home. Oh, and when did the virus hit America? Where did it hit? State of Washington, Kirkland, Washington. Kirkland, what's a Kirkland, Washington?
Starting point is 00:49:01 Oh, it hit elder care homes nursing homes that's who was dying and he closed down he closed down that Zuckerberg closed down that peach I closed down a google guy one after another cook closed down micros one after another what happened everybody can't go to school can't go to work hey but our business is booming because everybody's now teched you're buying online that's right you're shopping online you're ordering food online you're going to work online they're learning online. It's booming. It's booming. They're the ones that started it. That's right. And now let's go back to the Silicon Valley bank bust. As this tech business is booming, you had all these SPACs, IPOs.
Starting point is 00:50:01 We'll make up anything we want. We're going to do IPOs. We'll make up anything we want. We're going to do tech. And Silicon Valley, con, silly cons, silly con men and silly con women. Yep. So now all of these fake companies, these SPACs, these IPOs started going bust. And that's why Silicon Valley Bank went bust.
Starting point is 00:50:22 The techs gave us the COVID war. They were the first ones to sell it. That's right. So the people running and destroying America are the geek freaks, the military industrial complex, the drug dealers that people call big pharma, and the military industrial complex. They are in control of America.
Starting point is 00:50:42 That's right. They're the deputized state. That's why they run this stuff through the uh the big silicon valley internet people like jack dorsey and the rest of the stuff they know what's going on they're the ones who profited from it and again that's what um what rfk jr focused on and that's an important thing for people to hear an important thing for to be said he's the only person who's saying, you know, Ron Paul says it as well. But it's important to hear it coming from somebody who's running for office. And, you know, when you look at what is happening, say on the Republican side with Ron DeSantis,
Starting point is 00:51:14 he's getting these big multi-billionaire donors who are telling him, you better shut up, you better leave Disney alone and all the rest of this stuff. And that's what is really controlling the political process are these multi-billionaires and the people who got so much richer during the entire process because they can tell you to shut up you don't talk about that you don't talk about what we did to you during the during the lockdowns you don't talk about who was working with a cia who was whose businesses were actually started by the CIA. You know, the venture capital companies that were out there were giving money left and right to all these people who now control everything.
Starting point is 00:51:52 They vetted these people. They actually had real competition, but they picked the people who were going to compete just like they pick the candidates that are going to be allowed to compete as well. I got a couple of things here I want to read before we run out of time here. Rock Finn, we got Harps out of Australia. Thank you for the tip. He says, cheers, David, from the pothole capital of Melbourne because Dirty Dan lives here.
Starting point is 00:52:17 Yeah, Dirty Dan Andrews. Also on Rumble, Geesebusters. Thank you very much. He says, any chance of a David Knight, Gerald Slinty ticket in 2024, I think zero chance of that happening. We're not going to get into the political arena. It's bad enough. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:34 And that's one of the things that, uh, RFK addressed as well. And he said, I know it's dangerous business. And he said, uh, you know, my father and my uncle knew it was a dangerous business, but these, this is a generation that understood that there's worse things than getting killed. You don't want to live as a slave. And so these are people who volunteered to fight the Nazis. And he says, you know, his other uncle who volunteered for a suicide mission because there are worse things than getting killed.
Starting point is 00:53:04 And that's what we do understand. And, uh, you know, that, that has been the key thing from the very beginning. That's what I said from the very beginning of all the lockdown and the pandemic. I even talked about the world war two posters that said, you know, keep calm and carry on as the Nazis were on the other side of the English channel. And then the other one they had Gerald was, uh, freedom is in peril. Defend it with all your might. Now there would be a,
Starting point is 00:53:27 um, campaign slogan for somebody if they want to pick it up, uh, a world war two and the, uh, the cusp of the battle of Britain, you know, freedom is in peril.
Starting point is 00:53:37 Defend it with all your might. You know, we're, um, the name of the rally is going to be make America healthy again. Good. Good. That's good. Physically, emotionally, spiritually, The name of the rally is going to be Make America Healthy Again. Good. Good.
Starting point is 00:53:47 That's good. Physically, emotionally, spiritually, in every way we can. Yeah. We have to get back in shape in every way we can. That's right. I say to people, they ask me, what can you do? I say, you get in the best shape you can, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. You're in a fight for your life. When I saw RFK Jr.,
Starting point is 00:54:05 I'm sitting right in front of him when he did his talk, as he's walking off the stage, he said, I will fight to my death for freedom. And he was breaking up as he said it. Think about it. Think about it.
Starting point is 00:54:17 If your father was assassinated and your uncle was president of the United States, was assassinated, what kind of person are you? You're like, you can't believe. And this isn't a young kid. He's 69 years old.
Starting point is 00:54:31 He's not a kid. I mean, he lived through this stuff. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, you could tell that it had a big effect on him as he's talking about his father and the funeral and all the rest of the stuff. And as I said before, he offered a vision of united america that we don't hear from politicians anymore uh but um yeah he's going to have to address uh some of these issues in in terms of you know the extremism the call for
Starting point is 00:54:57 censorship of other people in the past i hope he's grown out of that to see what's happened because a lot of us have changed in the last few years with what we have. I'm not the same guy I was last week. You know, I mean, you change. That's right. That's right. But again, you have to look at the bigger picture as I see it. And the bigger picture is what's the other choice.
Starting point is 00:55:18 Yeah. Yeah. I agree. I agree. We want to be better to have somebody who is focused on freedom than it would be to have somebody who's focused on centralizing everything. And that really is what we have seen, especially from Biden, accelerating this stuff from the very beginning, shutting down our energy and then putting in this person who was a hardcore Marxist, Saleh Omarova, to completely rewrite our financial system, put us under the direct control of the Federal Reserve. I mean, what could be worse than that? It's absolutely amazing to see what is happening.
Starting point is 00:55:55 And, of course, escalating all of it. And it's not just, you know, they don't just bully the people abroad. They're bullying us in every regard. You know, here domestically, just like they're bullying the people in Europe over energy, taking that away, telling people what we're going to eat. And it just seems like it never stops. And so, you know, I'm very concerned about the whole environmental climate thing, because that can easily go in the wrong direction. And it really has with EPA. Again, I hear you, but to me it's a bigger issue.
Starting point is 00:56:27 And with all due respect, you were very rude by saying what was going on abroad. You're not allowed to call it abroad anymore. Yeah, because, you know. Are you sexist? As Biden says, you know, a little bit more than half of the women in his administration are actually women. You know, that's a broad. So he's got a he's got a couple of broads and he got a couple of fake broads in there as well. What a freak show he has.
Starting point is 00:56:55 It is. It is. It's a freak show right in front of your eyes. That's what's happened to our country. He is exhibit A, isn't he? With all of that stuff. Oh, always great to have you on joe funny i mean and that is is that that that thing that's his work spokeswoman i mean you know mad magazine could have couldn't have come up with a better cover you know well i don't know you you got the the guy uh uh i call him Dick Levine. His name was Richard. I think he
Starting point is 00:57:25 goes by Rachel or something. And then the guy, yeah, the guy had to kick out Sam Britton. You know, he's got to go. Who would thought that he would have to go for psychological counseling? You know, he got kicked out and almost sent to jail because of stealing women's luggage. And he's like this serial thief at the airports you know every time he sees a woman he likes the way she's dressed he steals her luggage so yeah he's gonna have to get some psychological help which i think he's needed for a very very very long time the guy playing the health secretary whatever his name is uh that's rachel levin yeah yeah yeah call him the head over there in pennsylvania. This guy got more chins than Chinatown.
Starting point is 00:58:07 And he's telling, she, he's telling me how I should be healthy and what I should do. I think we're going to have to, you know, the Chinese in power, we're going to have to figure out what the pronouns are for she. Thank you for joining us, Gerald. Trends Journal. And you can get 10% off if you use the code night. Thank you so much. Joe, we've got a problem. What? Who are you?
Starting point is 00:58:27 It's the new mug they're selling at the David night show.com. Right? So basically a mug is something that holds liquid, right? Cause basically you can't hold coffee with your hands, right? I'm it's scattingly, but anyone tries to mug me, I be ready for it. You dog-faced pony soldier. They say the mug can help patriots
Starting point is 00:58:54 drink coffee, then save the world. This could be bad for us. Save the world? But we own the world. These people, they're supporting free speech with every month they buy. Come on. These people, they're supporting free speech with every month they buy. Come on. These people, I tell you, will anyway.
Starting point is 00:59:16 You're listening to The David Knight Show.
