Starting point is 00:00:00 All right. And joining us now is Gerald Slenty trends, journal.com, an excellent publication. And, um, it puts it on a weekly basis. It's done as a, as a magazine, but more than the format is the content and tremendous amount of content. And I know that Gerald wants to talk about, uh, what is happening with war because he is pushing for the opposite. He's pushing for peace. We got in the program by talking about this attack and the Kremlin, thank you for joining us.
Starting point is 00:00:32 Well, thank you for having me and thank you for all that you do. Well, thank you. You know, when we look at this and again, the, the press is saying, well, is this real, is it a false flag? And of course we've got a Ukrainian corrupt bankster who is putting a bounty on somebody, you know, blowing up a drone around the Kremlin, around Red Square for their anniversary of the defeating of the Nazis. But the real issue, I think, is that both sides want this to be escalated. I don't think it really matters whether it's real or whether it's a false flag. Do you? escalated i don't think it really matters whether it's real or whether it's a false flag do you uh it matters a lot in a sense that let's let's reverse this let's suppose the headline reads
Starting point is 00:01:13 drone strike hits white house yeah that's right oh my god oh oh we'll go kill anybody anywhere. Oh, how can they do that? Yeah. How could a drone hit the White House? This is terrible. I agree. Could you imagine if that happened? You look at the headline on CNN. What's going on right now and they say
Starting point is 00:01:47 what really happened or what this is the one thing you have to know they're telling me the one thing I have to know you know this is serious this is the headline from Russia today
Starting point is 00:02:04 Washington responsible for attack on kremlin russia yes all right so let's reverse this russia responsible for attack on white house washington could you imagine could you imagine? Could you imagine? Yeah. Just like 88% of the stupid people believe little Georgie Bush, we're going to get that guy Osama bin Laden dead or alive because what happened on 9-11? Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:02:40 This is big. It's huge. We are headed to nuclear annihilation if we don't have peace, and this doesn't stop. I agree. I agree. Yeah, you know, we look at it, but that's why I said, you know, does it we know that both sides want to escalate this, and
Starting point is 00:02:58 you know, you've got Ukrainian corrupt billionaire or whatever it is, made a lot of money in their corrupt system as a banker, offering a half a million dollars to somebody that flies the thing in there. So you've got all of this, you've got this incentive on it, all these indications that it could be coming from Ukraine. We have the information that was leaked by that guy at the Pentagon or whatever they gave him that showed that the intelligence agencies there in Ukraine were doing stuff outside, uh, you know, whatever they wanted, uh, that Zelensky
Starting point is 00:03:29 is not in control. And of course we knew that already, but when you look at say nine 11, uh, you know, I believe that was a false flag. It was used because they wanted a war. If Russia wants to escalate this in terms of, um, this campaign, they could have done that as a false flag if the americans want to escalate it because they've been doing that from the very beginning it could have been real but either way it looks to me like both sides want to escalate this thing
Starting point is 00:03:54 and it will be escalated uh whether it is real or whether it is false flag it's going to be escalated i think yep yeah that's a key thing I don't think it's false flag because they also just bombed another oil depot in Russia. Did they? Yeah, that's right. Yeah. And there were two consecutive days they had two railroad bombings, derailments and stuff like that. So, yeah, the oil refinery plus the two against railroad stuff. There is a drone campaign that has been ongoing.
Starting point is 00:04:25 And I think it's interesting, you know, one of the things I said earlier today, Gerald, was that now you've got the Assistant Secretary General of NATO as well as Norway saying, you know, the Russians might step this up and they might start bombing our undersea pipelines and other things like that. It's like, well, why didn't you say that before when you were saying that the Russians were the ones that blew up Nord Stream one and two, that's almost an admission for them to say at this point, well,
Starting point is 00:04:52 we know they didn't do Nord Stream one and two, but now they might do something right. It is, it is pretty amazing. Now this is serious. Again, the oil depot I'm talking about, not the one that just happened in Crimea.
Starting point is 00:05:04 This is one that just came out in the news just a couple hours ago. Oh, okay. All right. So now there's two bombings of railroads and two bombings of oil depots in just the last week or so. Yeah. So this is escalating big time. Yeah. Again, if a drone strike hit the White House, this would be America right now, the whole country would be ready to go to war. Yes.
Starting point is 00:05:35 Yes. But if it hits the Kremlin, what are you talking about? Stop. I don't want to hear this stuff. Hey, what happened? I wonder how Johnny Depp is doing, you know? Yeah. Or Amber Heard.
Starting point is 00:05:48 Oh, did you see the Met thing, the gallows that women were wearing? I mean, this is just stupidity of what the news is. And it's not news, by the way. You're looking at what's going on. Vice is filing for bankruptcy. Well, they're worth how many billions of dollars a couple of years ago yeah box business insider just laid off 10 10 of its people buzzfeed go and bust one so-called media outlet after another going down. There is no journalism left anymore. I get the newspapers delivered every day.
Starting point is 00:06:30 They're this thick now. They fired so many people. There's no journalism. We're not getting reporting. We're only getting what the government is repeating and pushing out there. So there's no investigative journalism and there's no real facts coming out. That's right. And it's only going to get worse.
Starting point is 00:06:51 They're going to start using chat GPT to churn out, uh, yeah, formula garbage. And they've even admitted that at some of the news organizations, we're going to get rid of some of the reporters because we can get, you know, all it is is just churning,
Starting point is 00:07:02 um, you know, their, their narrative and, uh, AI can do that better than a reporter can do. And that's why, you know, all it is is just churning, you know, their narrative. And AI can do that better than a reporter can do. And that's why, you know, and I'm not bragging about this, but I am bragging. When you see the Trends Journal each week, there's no magazine that comes close to this. Nobody's giving you trends analysis.
Starting point is 00:07:19 This is what we write. This is what they're saying what's going on. But this is the story. OK, here's our analysis, trends analysis. Here's our trend forecast. Rather than skewing it the way they do by using propaganda language to push you in a direction, and nobody tells you what it means or where it's going. That's right.
Starting point is 00:07:43 That's right. You get yesterday's news today. It means nothing. And that's why all these companies are going out of business, because when you go to their sites, they're all repeating the same thing, which is different language. That's right. And it's not real anyway.
Starting point is 00:07:59 It's nothing new. They're repeating what's not real, and everybody knows it's not real. It's an echo chamber of lies. And so, yeah, it's not surprising that it goes out. And, you everybody knows it's not real. It's an echo chamber of lies. And so, yeah, it's not surprising that it goes out. And, you know, it's very disturbing to me. I thought perhaps one of the best things that could come out of, you know, the campaign that is happening right now is to have some issues aired out. But, of course, they're going to make sure that doesn't happen.
Starting point is 00:08:21 We saw that. I played the clip earlier of RFK going on ABC, and it was just an attack ad and, you know, hitting him as being an anti-vaxxer and then editing out the comments of it. They're going to shut down the debates because Biden can't even figure out where he is on stage. And Trump doesn't want to talk about anything except the 2020 election. And so they're going to shut down the debates and so there's not going to be any discussion about cbdc or vaccines or anything uh or war uh for many of these people uh that's going to be completely controlled throughout this entire uh so-called election process it's a selection but you know it's always been like that yeah the guy the guy that the guy that that's the president never debates
Starting point is 00:09:06 the guy in office never debates obama didn't debate after he won clinton one after another they don't debate so this is the way of the democracy of the united states yeah i remember when i ran uh for congress they had a lady it lady. It was the election after the one that Newt Gingrich had done for the contract with America. So I think that was in 94. And so this was in 96. And there was a lady who had gotten elected as Republican. And I was running as a third-party candidate. She didn't want to debate.
Starting point is 00:09:39 She'd only been in there for one time. And so they still wanted to have a debate to push the Democrat NPR did. So they got the token Democrat in this Republican district. And then they had me in another third party candidate on, and it was, um, it was a joke, uh, even the Democrat didn't really know what he was talking about, uh, but she didn't want to show up for the debate and, uh, I agree, you know, so to Trump is looking at this as if he is the incumbent, uh,
Starting point is 00:10:07 Biden is the incumbent. So they're going to just shut that thing down. How do you think, what, what, what is, um, what can other candidates do,
Starting point is 00:10:14 uh, to get the message out? Uh, because, you know, the way they got to get the message out is that, first of all, I want to just jump back.
Starting point is 00:10:23 You know, I was the first one one as you well know to say rfk jr and and it's it's it's there it's documented you know i'm going back to december oh yeah and and i wanted rfk jr and judge napolitano anyway the rfk j is, you look at his ratings going up now. It started at 14. Now they're at 20%. Yeah. And he just came out saying that if he got elected, Snowden and Assange, you know, they're free.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Yes, that's right. Yeah. And he's against the war in ukraine he's almost repeating word for word our occupied peace mandate close the bases overseas bring home the troops and secure the homeland and as you know we're having a peace and freedom rally in kingston which you've been here before on may 27th so we're really fighting for this. So going back to RFK, he's even backtracking a bit on the climate change thing. He's blaming this whole thing now on a Bill Gates movement, and it's not based on reality of what they're saying.
Starting point is 00:11:39 This guy has an excellent chance of winning. So how does he do it? Well, if I was running the campaign, which I used to do, by the way, I don't know if you know this. I didn't know that. I had a graduate school. I was working on the mayoral campaign in Yonkers, New York. It was 1971, a city of over 200,000 people. Angelo Martinelli gets elected. He didn't get elected that time. He became the longest running mayor after that he won. They were grooming me. I worked on the district attorney's campaigns. I worked on the state senator's campaigns. They sent me up to Albany. I was the assistant to the
Starting point is 00:12:25 secretary of the New York State Senate. They were grooming me as the Republican Party. I didn't care about politics. I just wanted to make a living and I didn't know what to do. And I just tried getting into this thing and I hit the top right away. I designed and instructed America's first course in how to run campaigns. It was called American Politics and Campaign Technology. I taught it at St. John's University. Wow. Yeah. I was at this a long time.
Starting point is 00:12:57 When I talk to people wanting to do social, you know, nobody listens to me because they know better. You know, the people that have no experience in this, you know nobody listens to me because they know better you know the the people that have no experience in this you know they they they run a uh a drug store but they know how to do campaigns better than me but anyway the um what i would do if i was kennedy i'd get about 20,000 people. They'll get that. Go to the White House. Stay there. Biden debate. Biden debate. Biden debate.
Starting point is 00:13:37 Biden debate. Biden debate. Day after day after day. That's how you win. It's simple. That's good. Number two, look at the poll numbers. The people don't want Biden or Trump.
Starting point is 00:13:54 That's right. They're in the Gallup poll numbers. They're in your trends journal this week in detail. Yes. Now, number three the young people are going to go out to vote and they're not going to want biden to trump the reason the democrats did so well in the midterm elections because a lot of young people went out again, whether you agree or disagree on the abortion issue, not the issue. The issue is that's why they went out because of Roe versus Wade.
Starting point is 00:14:35 Right. The facts are there. I'm not making them up. Yeah. So he has the RFK junior. Undoubtedly can be the next president of the United States. Now they're going to start throwing stuff out. He had sex with this one.
Starting point is 00:14:54 He did this with that one. Did you know about this about him and that about him? So you're going to get a lot of dirt coming out too. Yeah, he said in his speech, he said, I've got so many skeletons in my closet that if they could vote, I'd be king or whatever something something yeah yeah and again you know i mean i just did something really stupid to a friend and hurt their feelings i feel terrible about it you say stupid things sometimes and you know i mean you're a human being you know and it breaks my heart you know i hold i do something so stupid, you know. But again, you're human.
Starting point is 00:15:27 But did I kill anybody? Right. Right. You know, am I starting wars? Am I giving money to Jamie Dimon and the banksters? Look at the deal they just did with the First Republic. Yeah. Look at the deal they just did.
Starting point is 00:15:41 And you know it's in the Trends Journal. We've been warning about this for how long now? For how long now? Yes. Oh, you see gold prices? Yeah. Yeah. When we went on, we just, when we went on the air, it was about, it was over $2,050.
Starting point is 00:15:57 Wow. Wow. Yeah. Go back again, September. I do King World News. That's the big gold site. And's right out of eric king's mouth gerald you said gold bottom in september was like in the 1600s i said this is the bottom of it's going to go up from there we are in the worst geopolitical and socio-economic crisis in
Starting point is 00:16:21 modern history you talked about before with with the fraud of 9-11. Yeah. What preceded 9-11? Oh, the dot-com bust. Yes. People's mind got off the dot-com bust like that. That's right. And the same thing's going to happen now.
Starting point is 00:16:38 When all else fails, they take you to war. Yes. They're going to come out here. Gerald, we have to take a break we just heard that uh russia retaliated and struck the white house right oh something like that or they hacked our banking system whatever whatever whatever whatever whatever whatever whatever they're going to lie us again they one lie after another and of course they could hack our banking system and blame it on
Starting point is 00:17:05 russia you know i mean that's the whole thing we know how this stuff is gonna gonna roll out and we know what they want and we know that you know they're not even trying to um that's one of the things that rfk said uh he said look in in the past um i'm sorry it wasn't rfk it was tucker that's the other person everybody's talking about tucker said in the past, you would have the same goal. They're trying to do something that's good, they would say, and they'd have a difference of opinion as to how they would get there. But now they're just looking at how they can harm us. You know, that's where we are right now.
Starting point is 00:17:34 That's the kind of leadership that we've got. And not just in America, in every one of the countries. I mean, this is a global takedown of Western civilization. By design, they're all marching in lockstep to the same agenda no you're 100 right look they call again i in the trench journal we we we have the correct spelling of democracy d-u-h-d-o-m-o-c-k-r-a-Russi. Look what just happened over there in France. You just said this is everywhere. They locked, they, three people are being fined 15,000 euros.
Starting point is 00:18:18 And a year in jail, they're giving Macron the middle finger. Wow. Wow. A woman is being fined 12,000 pounds for putting on Facebook this little slime will be
Starting point is 00:18:38 on TV again. Call them a slime. How dare you call that little Rothschild boy with the fake hair a piece of slime yeah democracy we're bringing freedom and democracy yeah no isn't it amazing that biden would use that as his slogan freedom the guy who had the vaccine mandates and all the rest of this stuff it's just it's so incredibly cynical that he could do that but you're not going to see well you know like that uh i don't know who that anchor was lindsey something uh for abc news
Starting point is 00:19:10 the way she came after uh rfk on the vaccine stuff she would never come after biden for the vaccine mandates she would never say that you know these vaccines were you know it was the vaccines that were dangerous it wasn't the advice to not take them she would never say that, you know, these vaccines were, you know, it was the vaccines that were dangerous. It wasn't the advice to not take them. She would never say that to him. She would never come after him for his cynicism about running a campaign now supposedly about freedom when he tried to push a vaccine mandate on everybody in the country, especially the people in the military. oh and and and then you read why when they came out and defended it we use scientific data from officials and health experts that are in conversion what are you talking about you the crap that you believe yeah how about the other side oh by the way did you hear a little story just happened
Starting point is 00:20:01 came out yesterday the cd CDC had a big conference. Oh, yes. Did you see that? Yeah, super spreader event. Do you believe that? I don't believe that for a minute. Yeah, let's tell everybody we tested positive or whatever, because those tests don't mean anything anyway.
Starting point is 00:20:17 They magnify it so much. Yeah, but everybody vaxxed, and all those people got COVID. Yeah, I know. everybody vaxxed and everybody got and all those people got coveted yeah i know i know you know i'm looking for a uh a quote here from um they're probably sick from their vaccine they're probably sick because they wore masks and that's the other thing you know i there was this you remember uh taylor lorenz you know the one who was weeping about being doxxed and all that stuff working for the new york times she did her story this week about this woman who's just scared to death because now the last safe place where she could go, which was the doctor's office, because people had to wear masks.
Starting point is 00:20:52 Now they don't have to wear masks, and she's afraid to go there. Well, it's like, well, hey, if your mask works, lady, you don't have to worry about it. But, you know, she was portraying this as if this was a problem. And this lady has got these ongoing respiratory system symptoms. And it's like, did you ever think that could be your mask? Because it probably is the mask that she's wearing over her face, right? We've seen ample evidence of that. Common sense would tell you that.
Starting point is 00:21:13 But instead, Taylor Lorenz in the New York Times said about how she can't go anywhere now because it's just not safe out there for her because other people aren't wearing the mask. It'll never end with these people this is the quote i was looking for it's from colonel douglas mcgoth mcgregor and he was on with judge napolitano and they were talking about what's going on in in um ukraine and this is when the those pentagon papers 2.0 came out about what's really going on there, those leaks that happened. And this is a quote from Colonel McGregor. Quote, the general public needs to know that virtually from the beginning, the people in government at every level have lied to them. Yes.
Starting point is 00:22:07 The American people need to stop it. Only they can do it. End quote. Only they can do it. The American people need to stop it. Everybody listening, get this in your head. Get this in your head. Get this in your head. If you don't do anything, then you deserve what you get because they're taking us to death.
Starting point is 00:22:36 World War II is in ancient history. They just destroyed Europe. Go to Berlin. Hey, how about Dresden? Lovely. lovely oh all you people over there in nakasaki and hiroshima that got bombed with nuclear bombs oh it was happy days for you this is an ancient history we have maniacal narcissistic, psychopathic freaks that people call our leaders destroying our lives. It's up to everybody to do something to stop this. And I'm doing everything I can. I put my money where my heart and soul are. So do what you can to support us at Occupy Peace. OccupyPeace.com and come
Starting point is 00:23:27 to the rally on May 27th in Kingston. On John and Crown Street. It's going to start at 1 o'clock. And again, we're doing everything we can. But what are the people doing? And Douglas McGregor said it perfectly. Only
Starting point is 00:23:43 the people can stop it the american people need to stop it only they can do it end the story end the story end of story if you're dumb enough to vote for a stupid politician in the demo craps or repulsive kids to stop it You better grow up. Oh, you like Chuckie Schumer? No, I like Diane Not-So-Feinstein. Mitch McConnell's my kind of guy. Oh, how about Lindsey Graham? Yeah, yeah. And most of them are on life support now. Oh, look at the freak show.
Starting point is 00:24:20 Diane Frankenstein is what she's become now. Oh, could you believe this? Could you believe it? This is like watching those movies when I was a kid of the fall of the Roman Empire. Yeah. And they showed you the people that were the dopes that were playing the politicians of the day. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:37 And they've got the Caligula sex side as well through Epstein. All these people connected through Epstein. Yeah. It is truly amazing. I mean, even the younger ones, you know, like Fetterman. He gets elected in spite of the fact that he can't process any information. I mean, you know, it's just the American people are propagating that. That is absolutely what is happening.
Starting point is 00:24:58 Yep. I mean, you'll get the guy Fetterman, my God. Yeah. I mean, look at him. Yeah. You're voting for this guy's out of his mind. He has no mind. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:25:08 I know. Going to empty out the hospitals. We got the. All his life. Yeah, that's right. Yeah. He doesn't have any accomplishments that are there, but you know, look at who he's running against.
Starting point is 00:25:19 You know, he's running against the guy that Trump picked, which is Dr. Oz. I mean, that you, anybody, a real candidate could have beaten him, but we didn't have a real candidate, unfortunately. You know, we had, and I keep forgetting her name, but there was that in the Republican primaries, there was a couple of Davos people, Dr. Oz and this other businessman. And then there was the young black woman who outed them both as Davos people,
Starting point is 00:25:43 but Trump didn't support her you know she could have actually won i think because she's got a mind and she's candid about things and and but i've had enough of trump my god i know enough i know enough yeah all you trump fans do you like the tax deal that he did yeah that the one percent according to the tax policy center got 64 of the benefits and they did more stock buybacks that following year than ever before because they got so much money the bigs yeah that trump the trump that promised to fix our infrastructure that did zero that trump yeah or the border you know everybody's freaking out about you know he didn't do any the only thing that he did everybody's freaking out about the title 42
Starting point is 00:26:30 thing is look the only thing trump ever did at the border was to lock it down because of covid you know he didn't do anything at the border that he told everybody he's going to do so i don't really don't understand you know myself i mean i'm i've been done with trump since 2020 uh but even before that you know we had the gun control betrayals we had the tax code betrayals and then 2020 it was just one after the other i just could not believe what he did to this look what he did to venezuela yeah we're trying to put that guy guido in that just came to america now he declared him the president of venezuela yeah cut off the oil yeah yeah why not i mean you can just make up whoever you want the winner to be right that's what we're talking about
Starting point is 00:27:13 with the election and stuff but uh yeah it is absolutely amazing and of course now he's he's arrogant he doesn't want to have any debates either and um and there was an interesting story that came out about how he uh got angry with reporters on the plane and grabbed the guy's phone i mean it's just it's all about him all he cares about is is winning he doesn't want to talk about issues he's not a leader he's a narcissist it's just that's all he is yeah just amazing you know you know i tell this story we're about the same age he's a couple of months older than me and um when i was a kid matter of fact i wrote it in my dizzy book uh with this book with zizzy gave honey boy my favorite of everything i've ever written it's about growing up as an italian american in the bronx and then moving on to yonkers but anyway what the family used to be and i write about how when we
Starting point is 00:28:06 were kids and my parents had enough of us your little sob we had enough my me my my older brothers was sending you to the military school that was the greatest punishment that you could to make a kid be good oh we'll be good we'll be good i tell the story of how they took us to the botanical gardens in the Bronx. They had these big gates in the front. Little kids. We didn't know it was the botanical gardens. And my father said that was the military school. Get out of the car.
Starting point is 00:28:35 Yeah, they put that luggage in the car. They threatened us. Anyway, yeah, we'll be good. We'll be good. That was the biggest threat in my life in my generation that we if you're out of hand they're going to send you to military school they sent trump to military school and it's not far from where i am over here in kingston it's down in cornwall in the middle of nowhere in the middle of nowhere now this is a kid that got everything his daddy's rich he's living at the top he was so
Starting point is 00:29:08 out of control they sent him to military school that's how narcissistic he is yeah yeah yeah well his lawyer ty cobb who used to be his lawyer uh said um that he's incapable of acting except out of his own perceived self-interest or out of revenge and that's really what this is about you know this he wants to run again not because he accomplished anything give us a list of your accomplishments both trump and biden don't have any well actually biden does i actually biden has done a great deal with his agenda to destroy this country uh you know biden trump is just taking orders from these people. Uh, but, um, it, it truly is a shame. It is about an ego trip for them.
Starting point is 00:29:50 And, uh, he doesn't need to talk about the issues. Like I said before, if he gets elected, uh, you know, CIA or whoever's running a, the show will tell him what he has to do at that point in time. So why talk about the issues now? He's not going to do what he's tells you now anyway, just as we saw before. It is, it is truly a shame uh you know what is happening with it let's talk a little bit about money because you mentioned earlier uh jp morgan and uh jamie demon i like to call him uh got uh you know the cream of
Starting point is 00:30:18 the crop out out of first republic its stock dropped 99 in just two months we had insider trading going on in uh and with a about a half dozen members of congress uh on their stock you know selling their stock and buying into jp morgan he's he and his stockholders letter at the beginning of april so he wants to see the government start doing eminent domain confiscation for his benefit so that they can put in their green projects? I mean, where do you want to start with this? How corrupt is this? And, of course, now we've got another bank that is circling the drain. They're not even done with First Republic,
Starting point is 00:30:53 and now they're talking about Pacific Western, and it's lost 72% of its value in the last few weeks. I mean, this is starting to become a big trend, isn't it? Yes, and it's just begun yeah and again you know we wrote about this is all in your trends journal by the way we detailed it and going back to diamond said don't worry about it now the the worst of the banking crisis is over that's what he said on monday so forget about that you know the one that just happened now and so here's the deal the bigs are getting bigger jp morgan's the
Starting point is 00:31:27 biggest bank in the united states jp morgan chase now it just became even bigger then you look at the failures of 08 hit. Are you bigger? Yes. Now let's go to the big story here that, as you well know, and as documented, when they began the COVID war back in 2020, starting in tech land, what happened was the first COVID deaths were in Kirkland, Washington, a nursing home. The guy Twitter, that guy with the beard, the Dorsey guy, Twitter, is supposed to go.
Starting point is 00:32:25 We wrote about this as it was happening. He was supposed to go to South Africa, canceled his trip, told all the employees to stay home, don't want to spread COVID. Yeah. And then Zuckerberg, Peach Eye, Cook, all the tech freaks, close down, go home, close down down go home close down go home their business soared people are staying at home everybody followed them they're buying from home they're learning from home they're working from home. They're working from home. Oh, they're working from home.
Starting point is 00:33:06 Oh, yeah. And guess what? Now they're home for like three, four, five months at a time. People all over the country. And they're saying, oh, I've been getting up at five o'clock in the morning to go commute an hour and a half. And an hour and a half. I'm not doing this. I'm not doing it.
Starting point is 00:33:22 The work at home trend is real. So let's now look at the freaks that cause this, the geek freaks. Your office vacancy rate, not occupancy rate, vacancy rate in San Francisco is almost 30%. Nordstrom just closed down two of their places in san francisco because of the crime and nobody going shopping whole foods opened up a mega store there they closed down last week i talked about that yesterday they had 568 9 11 emergency calls to the police in just 400 days and i mean these are serious things hey there's a guy in here with a machete you know it's amazing all the workers are gone but the homeless drug addicts are there 24 7 it's amazing so now you go to take a trip to la oh let's stay in san francisco you need any fentanyl don't worry about it you can get it anywhere that's right yeah oh you're homeless people crazy people everywhere besides them
Starting point is 00:34:31 yeah they destroyed the city yeah now let's go to la 30 vacancy rate the office occupancy rate according to to Castle Systems, that's with a K, in the United States, Google it up, anybody. I looked yesterday, it was 49.6%. Office occupancy rate. Okay. That means half the people aren't going back to work. What's going to happen to the interest rates? Oh, they just raised interest rates 25 basis points
Starting point is 00:35:06 yeah oh and these big corporations that own these buildings have floating loans and now they're coming due so now they have to pay more on their loans as they have less and less and less tenants and now they can't pay their loans oh so who's holding the loans oh the banks yeah virtually no one is talking about this it comes out in little bits and pieces we've been warning about this for three years and we made it one of our top trends for 2023 office building bust. So where is the economy going? I remember, I remember I was talking about that at the very beginning, you know, when they locked everything down and you saw these pictures of, you know, Manhattan, it was a ghost town. I ran a clip of, you know, the beginning of breakfast at Tiffany's,
Starting point is 00:36:00 which I was always thought was funny because there's nobody else on the road. But a couple of weeks ago, we talked about how this one big commercial real estate firm had lost $162 million in Washington, D.C. And I said, how do you lose that? That same firm, a few days after we talked, Gerald, they're in L.A. They're at three quarters of a billion loss in that town. And they're national. I mean, they're losing money like this in every city. Yep. that town and they're national i mean they're losing money like this in every city yep and the
Starting point is 00:36:26 number that they put out there is almost five trillion dollars worth of business commercial business debt wow five trillion wow and now it's coming due now it's coming due and now the sub leases are way up. People are getting out. They're subleasing what they have for almost nothing. And they're not renewing their leases. So this is going to bring down the banking system like you can't imagine. And the FDIC only has so much money and they're almost out of it. And then you talked about what's also going on.
Starting point is 00:37:01 They're doing all these short sellings that are driving the stock prices down. they're shorting that they know the banks are going to go down so the shorts are driving the prices down even more wow so this thing is going to and again look at gold prices as i said when i before i came on the air with you was it was over 250 dollars $250, $2,000, $2,050 an ounce. This is just the beginning. Now, let's go, the Fed just raised interest rates yesterday. Today, the European Central Bank is expected to raise them. Oh, go to your trends journal. Each week, we put layoffs.
Starting point is 00:37:43 This is our 38th week of doing it oh spotify just announced announcing uh cutting another 20 of their work staff and they've been cutting before oh that just came out one after another one after another gap one after another one after another firing, firing, firing, firing. So now you're raising interest rates. Oh, you see the manufacturing index? It's down. Oh, yeah. And oh, but consumers are spending more.
Starting point is 00:38:19 Well, no, they're not spending more. Not when you put inflation into it. And when you look at retail sales, they're not spending more, not when you put inflation into it. And when you look at retail sales, they're down. They're spending more on services because it's costing them more to live. But not retail. They're not spending more. And then you're looking at shrinkflation, and the companies across the spectrum are raising the prices of everything,
Starting point is 00:38:45 the big companies, and giving you less product. Yeah, that's right. Yeah. So this thing is serious. And that's why, to me, gold, and again, as you will know, there's no advertisers in the Trends Journal, not promoting anybody. We don't give financial advice we give you the forecast and our forecast is going back now to raising interest rates the word on the street
Starting point is 00:39:13 is this is the end of it and everybody understand this this raise that they just made when they raise interest rates the damage doesn't happen like that. It takes time. And now that time has come. So now in the run up to the 2024 elections, they're going to lower interest rates. They do it all the time. Yeah. Because now when they lower interest rates, go back to your April 4th cover of the Trends Journal, Death of the Dollar. The dollar is only strong because interest rates are high.
Starting point is 00:39:56 When they start lowering interest rates, the dollar goes down that means america the slimeball politicians that sent all our manufacturing overseas the nikes the levi's the everybody's that means it costs us more to buy product because our currency is worth less which means inflation will stay high as the economy goes down we call it drag flation not stagflation it won't be stagnant it'll drag down as inflation goes up number two on the dollar the world has had enough of america's socioeconomic and geopolitical hegemony. They're abandoning the dollar. Is it going to end overnight?
Starting point is 00:40:49 No. But if they take us off the petrodollar, yes, it will. So it goes back to gold. And talking about taking us off the petrodollar, of course, Saudi Arabia made their move with China some time ago. And then we've got five Arab states now, plus Iran, wanting to join 19 countries that are already in the bricks. We've even gotten, this is amazing to me, Gerald, see that South Korea, as well as Indonesia, but South Korea says we want to get away from the U.S. dollar. We want to trade in other currencies other than the U.S. dollar
Starting point is 00:41:26 when we buy and sell internationally. I mean, everybody is walking away from it. The IMF is saying, yeah, we used to have about 60, we used to have like 72%, I think it was, of the currencies in the dollar. Now it's dropped into the 60s, and it's starting to accelerate. Even the IMF is saying. It's going to take time, but it's you know it's starting to accelerate even the imf as i said it's going to take time but it's the beginning of the end yeah and you know what happened is that america became
Starting point is 00:41:52 the country that our founding fathers fought against that's right that's right their son never sets on the british empire we'll kill anybody steal anything we want all over the world we're america we'll invade any country kill anybody we want all over the world. We're America. We'll invade any country, kill anybody we want in the name of bringing freedom and democracy and build our military industrial complex. Well, the sun never sets on American military bases, the 800 and over 70 countries. So when did the pound, the British pound die? After World War I, because of all the wars that the UK kept fighting.
Starting point is 00:42:27 And now it's the same thing with America because of all the wars that we've been fighting. Now it's the death of the dollar in front of us. Yes. Peace is profitable. War is costly. As I said, the 20th century was the American century. The 21st century, unfortunately, is going to be the Chinese century because the business of China has been business. The business of America has been war.
Starting point is 00:42:53 That's right. Yeah, China is absolutely doing with their Belt and Road Initiative what we used to do in the early 20th century, right? Build you engineering projects and that type of thing. We profited from going in and building infrastructure. That's what they're doing now. And they're getting on the ground floor with all these resources. And everything that they're doing to reset our economy, of course,
Starting point is 00:43:13 is pushing us with no time left. We've got to abandon what works, abandon what we have, and go for these untested, untried, and probably unworkable solutions. And yet those are not going to be profitable for us because all of them are in a position where China has already positioned itself for the minerals, for the manufacturing, and for all the rest of this stuff. So we're going to be buying all of this new stuff at higher prices from China. That's what they've engineered and leveraged us into.
Starting point is 00:43:42 Well, you could thank the slime balls like Bill Clinton. Yeah. Started with NAFTA. Yeah. engineered and leveraged us into well you could thank the slime balls like Bill Clinton yeah we started with NAFTA yeah and um then he brought China into the World Trade Organization that's right you know people forget the Battle of Seattle back in 1999 when some almost 50 000 people took to the streets because they had the World trade organization meeting there and the people were protesting because they were bringing china into it but what happened is they do all the time they had a couple of agents provocateurs these guys dressed in black and perfect shape you know faces covered smashing windows and burning a couple of cars and that became all the news not that the people were protesting about the loss of american
Starting point is 00:44:26 jobs and you look at china's gdp from 1970 to until they came into the world trade organization officially two weeks after 9-11 and their gdp strike strike soars up And the slimy American companies that went over there, the deal is this. No, you can't open your own company here, but you could go and partner with one of our guys. But you only could own 49% of the deal.
Starting point is 00:44:56 So now China, that couldn't make anything, gets all the high-tech and heavy industry technology they need to become who they are. And you talked about South Korea.
Starting point is 00:45:11 Yeah, South Korea is saying, no, we're going to trade in our currency. Who's South Korea's biggest market? Oh, China. China, yeah. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Again, we wrote about this in this week's trends journal i forget the numbers but the china numbers like that the american numbers like that so this is this is the beginning of the end and again it's up to the people to do something so i keep saying it does not take a majority to prevail but rather an irate tireless minority keen on setting breastfires of freedom in the minds of men since samuel adams and you david knight are that tireless minority as am i and the people listening but we have to unite yes as they say united we we stand divided we die that's right and we're on the we're on the cusp of death because if there's a nuclear, look, they just bombed the Kremlin.
Starting point is 00:46:07 I know. They just attacked the Kremlin. I know. Yeah. And it's out there. I mean, it's out there that, look, we've seen it's American weapons that they're using. It's their intelligence system that is doing this. And, you know, the Ukrainian people are running, you know, the Ukrainian intelligence agencies are the ones who are running these attempted assassination strikes.
Starting point is 00:46:33 I point out earlier, they bragged about the fact that they had sent in a drone to try to hit Putin. They missed him by 12 miles, you know, looking at a place that he was going to be at a park. And they sent the thing in, but they were bragging about it. So, yeah, we're getting closer. We're going to do it. So, I mean, they're not even trying to disguise it. The only person who's denying it is Zelensky because I guess he knows that if he admits it, he's going to be the target for assassination, but they've already said they want to assassinate
Starting point is 00:46:59 him. Oh, he'll be gone. Yeah. So it's, it's, you know, when you look at this though, I mean, pretty much they're not even making, my point is they're not even trying to deny it really in a, in a plausible way. And, um, and it's going to be escalation. I mean, even if you look at it from the standpoint that the Russians wanted to galvanize people, uh, uh, to, um, you know, support them in this war, uh,
Starting point is 00:47:22 that would still be escalation. Either way you look at this, you know, regardless of what happened, it still says escalation. And, um, and it is pretty amazing how bold this has gotten. And, uh, it's just, it's just one step after the other, this march to war, and nobody is really pushing back against it. Nope. We are. Yeah. This is the, from the Russian presidential spokesman, Dmitry Peskov said, quote, talking about the drone strike. Such decisions, the definition of goals, the definition of means, and so on, all this is dictated to Kiev from Washington.
Starting point is 00:48:02 And we are well aware of this. Yeah. We know full well that the decisions to carry out such terrorist actions are made not in Kiev, but in Washington. That's right. And I think, as I talked about this earlier, I think... It's right there.
Starting point is 00:48:17 It's right there. They're saying America did it. Yeah, I know. And how might they respond? You know, they may not respond initially with a nuclear exchange, but they will with infrastructure attacks. And our infrastructure is so neglected that they would have plausible deniability that it was even then. You know, so it's the sort of thing, that's what I would expect to see happen before they escalate to, I would see that as an intermediate step before a nuclear war.
Starting point is 00:48:42 Yeah. Would be infrastructure attacks. That's why I keep telling people, watch out for that because our trains are derailing left and right because of lax procedures and decaying infrastructure. So they could
Starting point is 00:48:57 help that along. They could do it in a way that it doesn't have their fingerprints on it. So yeah, expect to see that. Expect to see a lot of hacking of infrastructure. And we know that can be shut down very easily. They could blame that on people putting it out as ransomware. So I think that's the type of thing we're going to be seeing in the future as well.
Starting point is 00:49:17 Oh, by the way, did you see that video clip of that young fellow, Jose Vega? What did he do? They had the Washington Post conference. It was all about freedom of speech. And he asked them, how come they're, is that Columbia University, I believe? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. They had to carry him out because he was talking.
Starting point is 00:49:40 He threw him down to the ground. Yeah. After he said, i i finished speaking i just want an answer and the dean threw him down to the ground yeah this is america that's right that's right yeah i think you're getting him here as a speaker too a brave young man that's good that's good and that's may 27th that you're to be having that in Kingston? May 27th on John and Crown Street in Kingston, New York, the Four Corners of Freedom, the most historic four corners in America. The only place with pre-revolutionary war stone buildings and the seeds of democracy was sown here. Right across the street where the State House, the Capitol building is, the Ulster County Capitol building,
Starting point is 00:50:24 that used to be when this was the first capital of New York State. But the British burnt it down. They moved to Albany. The Constitution that was written for New York State, over 70% of America's Constitution come from that Constitution. And John Jay, he was a judge over there. That's a great point. So the seeds of democracy was sown here. And that's why I bought those buildings. Yeah. and that's why i'm doing everything i can and we need all the help we can get i can't
Starting point is 00:50:50 do this on my own you know that little clown beto o'rourke that little jerk over there in texas another clown over there in in in uh uh georgia where abrams they both ran for governor they both lost and they both spent $100 million to lose. Could you imagine if we had $100 million apiece? Could you imagine? Could you imagine? Oh, yeah. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:51:15 Yeah, when you look at what is happening in free speech, I had an individual say, you know, I've been talking about this law that DeSantis went to Israel to sign, right, to make a hate crime, you know, I've been talking about this law that DeSantis went to Israel to sign, right, to make a hate crime, you know, to make it. And they've got these racist, anti-Semitic people who are trolling people in predominantly Jewish areas, but they want to make it into a felony. And, you know, when I look at the basis of that, and he sent me the law, and it's like, no, I really, when I look at this, and it says, you know, if you're going to do this
Starting point is 00:51:44 in a harassing way and so forth, we're going to call that a hate crime. I don't support any hate crimes. I don't support any restrictions on free speech. I see that as a very amazingly un-American action. You know, there isn't any way that we would ever, should be ever standing for that in America to have somebody make a crime out of that. But it is escalating, and it's escalating on both sides, Republican as well as Democrat. Nobody wants to have any free speech anymore. It's truly amazing.
Starting point is 00:52:13 By the way, this DeSantis, they just passed a law. You can't find out who's paying for all his trips. Oh, they passed a law for that? Okay, yeah, because everybody was starting to ask about that. Yeah, even the past ones know you're not allowed to look. This america he's a phony he's a phony i don't want my 3.8 billion dollars a year going to israel one of the richest countries around i don't want my money going anywhere i don't want to go to italy i don't want to go to ireland i only want to go to america yeah desantis does this to get the Jewish votes in Florida.
Starting point is 00:52:46 What am I, six years old? Oh, yeah. They made it very clear. The two representatives had talked about it. And the person sent to me said, no, this is not just about protecting Jewish voters there. It does it for any religious or ethnic group. And I said, okay, well, you know, this is, when I look at this, it says harassment or intimidation based on religious or ethnic heritage. So that's everybody. It's not just Jewish people. But when are they going to add gender to that? When are they going to add a different group?
Starting point is 00:53:13 And this whole thing about it being hateful is subjectively determined. And so there's absolutely no reason that we should ever be putting people in jail with a felony because they do something that is hateful. I absolutely disagree with that. I understand that it's hateful. I understand that it's racist, what these people are doing. But that should not be a felony. That should be opposed with a free speech.
Starting point is 00:53:37 We should have more free speech to oppose that. This idea that they're going to determine what is hateful and what is not hateful what is true what is not true that is the essence of totalitarianism well look what they do what they call all the palestinians that fight back militants yeah yeah that's right you're a militant you got an invading country oh no it's not an invading country it's occupied territory we'll do anything we want with it occupied you stole this stuff how about how about all the human rights organizations they're calling israel an apartheid state for what they're doing to the arabs oh that's fine salenti and then what the hell you're doing over there you're the governors of florida what
Starting point is 00:54:25 are you doing in israel i know he's done that twice he's done that twice and they're all phonies yeah they're all clowns again who's your favorite clown i like chucky schumer you know i like mcconnell yeah look at the jerks yeah you look at rama swami who uh was uh here's an outsider right he's trying to portray himself that way he paid somebody to fix his wikipedia page because uh the truth is that he was on governor dewine's covid council i wonder if he's the one who came up with that lottery thing you know a million dollars here you know you play the lottery you win or you die are you feeling lucky today punk you know i wonder if he came up with that lottery thing. A million dollars here. You play the lottery, you win, or you die. Are you feeling lucky today, punk?
Starting point is 00:55:07 I wonder if he came up with that. So he wanted that scrubbed, and he wanted it scrubbed that 11 years ago he was getting money from Paul Soros, the older brother of George Soros, just like they've got the young Davos leaders and stuff. So he wanted that scrubbed, and he's been criticizing Soros, and he doesn't want you to know that he was taking money from the soros family it just when you look at politics especially at the presidential level it's just so hopelessly corrupt isn't it it's just yep yeah that's why yeah you're right the people have to do something about it if we take the lead uh perhaps they will
Starting point is 00:55:41 follow uh if we take the lead perhaps we can nullify what they're doing at the local level to, to some degree. Yep. And, uh, I think that's, that's really important. Uh, but you know, whenever we look at bad circumstances like this situation in Florida, you know, you take a bad law, a bad circumstance and you, uh, something that's bad and you want to oppose it and you create a law that's going to have very broad principles. You better understand how those principles are going to be applied by other people in other ways. And that's not the right way to address a problem like that. It's a very specific problem that needs to be addressed specifically. But to create this law that says we're going to have a carte blanche, that if we decide
Starting point is 00:56:20 that something is hateful to any group, and of course, these protected groups are constantly evolving and changing, that is a blueprint for disaster. But again, it is really a shame to see that. And we've got some people who are going to talk about CBDC and some of these other issues, but it looks like there's not going to even be any debates now at this point. So it's going to be guerrilla tactics, like you pointed out, you know, massive mobs saying, hey, we need to debate and hectoring them over not debating. That's going to get some attention. You might be able to, you know, there's whatever Tucker Carlson does. Tucker Carlson's already had him on once. He might go outside the controlled media and he might have enough attention that he could you know do something that would probably get more views than if they had a uh a debate we'll have to see i don't know
Starting point is 00:57:10 but we're out of time always great to have you on gerald and again it's trendsjournal.com by the way if you use the code night you can get a discount at 10 off of trendsjournal.com always great to have you on thank you gerald thank you and thank you for all that you do. We had a last-minute change, and so the program will be live tomorrow. It will not be a rebroadcast.
Starting point is 00:57:36 Thank you. Joe, we've got a problem. What? Who are you? It's the new mug they're selling at thedavidknightshow.com, right? So, basically, a mug is something that holds liquid, right? Because basically you can't hold coffee with your hands, right? I'm a scat in the, but anyone tries to mug me, I'm be ready for it.
Starting point is 00:58:03 You dog-faced pony soldier. They say the mug can help patriots drink coffee, then save the world. This could be bad for us. Save the world? But we own the world. These people, they, they're supporting free speech with every mug they buy. Come on. These people, uh, I tell you,
Starting point is 00:58:25 well, anyway. You're listening to The David Knight Show.
