Speaker 1 Welcome to The David Pakman Show. As of today, we are seven weeks from the 2024
presidential election. I am getting dozens of emails daily saying, David, the real truth of
where this election is going is in the Pennsylvania polling or it's in this Bellwether
County in North Carolina, or it's in the fact that there's a registration gap among women
age 18 to 29 that favors favors Kamala Harris by 58 to 42.
I want to take a step back from any individual detail and lay out three different scenarios for what
could be forthcoming seven weeks from now.
Two reasons to do this, and I'll be completely transparent with you as to why I'm doing this.
Number one, to show that there is very much no clear outcome yet in what we are to expect. And number two, to dissuade anybody
who might be thinking about, I don't know if it's really important that I vote this time around
to disabuse people of that notion. I'm going to go through this is sort of like in the old days.
Remember when The David Pakman Show was seeking investors? This was back about nine years ago. And we would develop these
projections for what sort of business path could the show have. And we would have like a base case
and then we would have an optimistic case and then we would have what I thought was the realistic
case. And I would show these to investors and I would say with my hat in my hand, please, sir,
do you have any money for me? OK, we're getting off track.
We're getting off track.
But the point here is I'm going to lay out three cases for you, all of which are possible
cases based in data.
The first case is that this is going really well for Kamala Harris case.
And Trump is on the verge of snapping and losing this thing.
That's case number one. Case number two is going
to be despite the positive headlines for Kamala Harris. There are a lot of reasons to be optimistic
if you are Donald Trump. And the third case is going to be what I guess we're going to call
the it all depends on North Carolina case, which is an interesting kind of footnote to this entire
thing. So let's start with the case that many of you I know are very attached to for good reason,
which is that Trump is getting crushed by all of the latest polls post debate, and he is
essentially borderline going to be blown away. So a couple of different headlines that I want to point to.
Axios reports Harris soars to record six point lead over Trump in post debate poll.
This is, of course, national polling.
This refers to the morning consult poll, which finds that a majority of likely voters, as
well as 20 percent of Republicans, believe Kamala
Harris won the debate.
This has crystallized her lead over Trump and with 11000 U.S. voters surveyed after
the debate, September 13 to 15.
It is Harris 51 and Trump 45.
If indeed Kamala Harris is able to secure more than 50 percent of the vote, that would
be a very, very good sign for her. This is a record high level of support for Kamala Harris is able to secure more than 50 percent of the vote. That would be a very, very good sign for her.
This is a record high level of support for Kamala Harris.
We have another positive headline for Kamala Harris.
New poll shows Harris surging in state thought to be safe for Donald Trump.
This is talking about Iowa, Iowa.
Harris has narrowed Trump's lead to four points, just forty seven to forty three in Iowa.
Iowa is considered just it's a throwaway red state.
What I don't mean we don't care about Iowans.
I mean, if you're a Democrat building a path to 270, you don't even consider Iowa.
Harris has narrowed Trump's lead. This is a big reversal from the spring where it was Trump 50
and Joe Biden 32. Pollster J. Ann Seltzer says that a four point lead for Trump is certainly not
comfortable, not comfortable. Iowa rarely a swing state. So this is all extraordinarily good news for Kamala Harris.
If Iowa is even not that she's going to win Iowa, but if Iowa is a state Trump has to defend,
that's a very bad sign for the Republicans. We also have generic national numbers where we have
seen Kamala Harris's lead grow by about 50 percent from one point one before the debate now to one point
seven. And if you look at post debate polls, Kamala Harris leading all but one of them,
there's an Atlas Intel poll led by Trump. But otherwise, it's Harris plus four plus four plus
four plus four and plus five in post debate polling.
This is all extraordinarily good news, extraordinarily good news for Kamala Harris.
Now, what does she have to do on this basis between now and the election?
Well, she has to keep up the pressure, force Trump to spend money in states he wouldn't
normally have to defend.
Oh, I also wanted to mention Nevada, Nevada and Nevada, both Harris leading there.
And we only have one post debate poll.
It's a Republican leaning poll.
And still, Kamala Harris is leading by one.
So, you know, I don't know that the Nevada numbers necessarily play a huge role
in our analysis right now. And if we look at the 538 forecast of who is expected to win
in 100 simulations using the current polling inputs, Kamala Harris wins 61 out of 100, whereas Trump wins 39 out of 100 with less than a one percent chance of
no Electoral College winner.
And that is polling.
That is a forecast that has improved slightly, slightly for Kamala Harris over the last period
of time.
So this is a very optimistic case for Kamala Harris.
It's a scenario that I desire. I would love it if this were the
outcome, but it is not the only way to interpret the current data. So now having looked at the
great for Kamala scenario, let's talk about looking much better for Donald Trump.
If we step back from national polling, which has bounced between Kamala Harris plus one and Kamala Harris
plus two with some anecdotal outlier polls of Kamala Harris plus four, which we will see if
those become the norm over the next seven to 10 days. If we step back from that and we say, OK,
let's do the analysis differently. Let's do the analysis focusing exclusively on the Electoral College, remembering that
Democrats can win by one or two or even two and a half in the national popular vote, but
still lose electorally.
We understand that.
Looking at history, looking at 2016 and looking at other years, what is the scenario that
this actually is looking far, far better for Donald Trump?
Well, I will show you the scenario in Arizona.
Donald Trump is winning in an average of recent polls right now.
That's a reversal from 2020.
In 2020, Trump lost Arizona in current polling.
Trump is winning now.
Admittedly, only one of these polls is from after the debate, And the only post-debate poll is a Republican
leaning poll. But as of right now, 2024's map looks better for Trump than 2020. So when you
see Trump leading Arizona, you say, well, hold on a second. Maybe this isn't all roses and ginger
snaps for Kamala Harris. We then look at Michigan. Yes, Kamala Harris is leading in Michigan,
but by a fraction of a point. And in fact, of the two post debate polls, one is tied and one
has Trump winning. That doesn't look very good, given that Donald Trump lost Michigan in 2020.
We then go to Wisconsin. Yes, Kamala Harris holding a lead in Wisconsin, but by just one point.
And importantly, Trump surging in Wisconsin from forty six point eight all the way up to forty eight.
So Trump is actually gaining ground in the state of Wisconsin. We look at North Carolina. Now we're
going to do a separate discussion of North Carolina in a moment. North Carolina, Trump is
winning right now, although it is tighter than we would expect. So we're going to come back to North
Carolina. And then if you look at Georgia, another state that Joe Biden won in 2020, Trump is
currently leading in Georgia. Yes, it's only by a fraction of a point. But once again, the one post debate poll that we have has Trump leading Georgia, a state
which Joe Biden won in 2020.
And then we have Pennsylvania, another state that was won by Joe Biden in 2020, in which
Donald Trump is currently leading.
Now we have two post debate polls from Pennsylvania, Harris leading one, Trump leading one.
But on average, the way these calculations are weighted, Donald Trump is currently winning
Arizona.
So if we start with Pennsylvania, if we start with the 2020 map and we flip Pennsylvania
to what today's polling says and we flip Georgia to what today's polling says and we flip Arizona to what today's polling says,
Donald Trump becomes the next president of the United States. This is just looking at today's
polls. So while it is absolutely exciting and titillating to see Kamala Harris plus six in the
morning consult poll and to see a lot of the different
scenarios that are being laid out. If I take all emotion out of it and just say, let's look at the
average of polls, Trump's winning Pennsylvania, Trump's winning Georgia, Trump's winning Arizona.
That's two hundred and eighty one electoral votes for Donald Trump. And it is a win for Trump in the Electoral College.
So lest anyone take comfort.
In the numbers that we are seeing from the optimistic for Harris scenario, I've just outlined to you the way the Electoral College is looking as though it would fall
if the election were held today, understanding that when Trump's winning by point two and
the polling on average has a margin of error of three, we all understand that.
So now, having outlined the rosy scenario for Kamala Harris and having outlined the
rosy scenario for Donald Trump, I want to focus in on North Carolina. There is a new piece
by Jennifer Rubin in The Washington Post, and it argues that if Donald Trump loses this one state,
not only can Trump not win in November, it's the end of MAGA as we know it. The state is the state of North Carolina. Washington Post piece. If Trump
loses North Carolina, it could be an early night and curtains for the GOP. A Harris win in the
state would be decisive. They know this. OK, the people around Trump realize that if North Carolina goes Harris, it could be a
historic landslide against Donald Trump.
This is part of why I should mention that RFK Jr. is doing everything he can to delay
early ballots being printed and sent out in North Carolina. New York Times article
North Carolina begins printing new ballots minus Kennedy's name after dropping out of the race and
endorsing Trump. Robert F. Kennedy has been fighting in court to remove his name from
ballots in several states. One of those is North Carolina. It appears as though it appears as though
it is going forward in North Carolina without RFK's name on the ballot.
That's good for Donald Trump.
But they understand the importance of North Carolina going back once again to North Carolina polling.
You can look at this data two different ways.
The first way is Trump's winning North Carolina.
Great non story.
The problem with that interpretation is that North Carolina shouldn't be this close.
Yes, Trump leads in North Carolina, but he leads by only an average of zero point four
percent.
Let me remind myself of the North Carolina presidential election results in 2020.
In 2020, Trump won North Carolina by a point and a half. So when you see a margin of
zero point four and you anecdotally see Kamala Harris leading some North Carolina polls,
including the Quinnipiac poll and the W.R.A.L. Survey USA poll, as we have on screen,
that is not a good scenario for Donald Trump because it is a state that he will have to
defend. Now, I want to go over a very specific scenario with you here. There is a scenario
in which Donald Trump loses Pennsylvania, which would be Pennsylvania. Trump's leading by a little,
but Biden won in 2020 and it would be perfectly expectable. It could be a Trump win or a Harris win if Harris wins Pennsylvania.
And if Harris wins Georgia, North Carolina ends the night.
It's an East Coast end to the night.
If you put North Carolina in Harris's camp, as I've done on screen right now, you find
that she doesn't even need Miss Scott, Wisconsin, Michigan, Nevada or Arizona. So we could be done at 8 p.m.
on November 5th if North Carolina falls to Kamala Harris. And the thinking, of course, is
if North Carolina falls to Harris, she'll get Georgia and Pennsylvania since those are more
feasible. And then, of course, we know that Colorado, New Mexico,
California, Oregon, Washington are going to Kamala Harris as well as Hawaii. We could know the
results by 8 p.m., which would be a very different scenario from what we've seen in recent elections.
Now, as you can see here, if Michigan were to go to Kamala Harris, if Wisconsin goes to Harris, if Arizona, Nevada
go to Harris, you're talking about a larger victory than that which we would have seen
in a very long time, certainly in the Trump era.
Now, that's an if this is why North Carolina is so important.
Now, on the other hand, on the other hand, if we look at a different scenario and things
got all wacky here, so I'm going to have to reset this Colorado, New Mexico, Florida would
go red.
Virginia, you would expect blue North Carolina.
Iowa is going red.
You could have a very different scenario.
Assuming that Trump does hold North Carolina and imagining that Trump gets Georgia, but not Pennsylvania, then all
of a sudden Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, Arizona are what it is all about or what it is all
about.
So there's kind of two approaches that we are going into here.
They all lead to I am going to make damn well sure I look at vote dot org, make sure I'm registered,
talk to people about voting, have a plan to vote all of it.
Oh, that's the that's at the end of the rainbow with all of these scenarios.
Scenario one is that North Carolina does fall for Republicans and then we might know by
8 p.m. what the results are.
The other scenario is it's much more heavily contested in line with the state
polling, mind you. So that's the scenario I expect. And then we have a situation where
Michigan might be decided by 10000 votes. Wisconsin might be decided by 10000 votes.
Arizona, Nevada decided by 10000, 15, 20000 votes and forget about results by 8 p.m., we probably wouldn't
even have results by 8 a.m. the following morning because, you know, if these four states
are what it comes down to, these four that are in tan up on the screen and they are tight,
Trump will claim fraud or fraud.
There will be lawsuits.
There will be chaos. There will be chaos.
There will be insanity.
So my plan is to vote.
I hope that you have the same plan.

You know, one of the things we've learned over the last couple of weeks is that there
are creators out there who, unlike The David Pakman Show, which is supported primarily
directly by our audience, actually do have a metaphorical money tree growing in their
backyard, massive dumps of money from Russia, for example. We don't have that. And when we think
about the fact that our estimate is that one half of one percent of our audience directly supports
the show. And I say, imagine if we could go from half of one percent to one percent of our audience
directly supporting the show and what that would do for us. And we compare and
contrast that with those who just have six figures a month of Russian money dumping in.
This is a very different sort of show. That's for sure. Now, if you like the fact that we are

to use the English language to communicate with people, and it did not go particularly well.
He spoke in Atlanta and he said, we need unity, not division. We need unity, not division. And so we shouldn't ever be saying that there's a
candidate that is a fascist. The only problem with that is that two days ago, Donald Trump said that
Kamala Harris is a fascist. As usual, a very clear disconnect between Donald Trump and his running
mate, J.D. Vance. Listen to J.D. here in Atlanta. And I
apologize for the audio. I don't know if Antifa or Black Lives Matter was controlling the microphones.
That's a joke, by the way. But the the audio problem is on their end, not ours. But I do
think that we should take this opportunity to call for a reduction in the ridiculous and
inflammatory political rhetoric coming from too many corners of our politics.
Okay. Go on.
Look, we can disagree with one another. We can debate one another.
But we cannot tell the American people that one candidate is a fascist,
and if he's elected, it is going to be the end of American democracy. Oh, not as a as a person affiliated with Kamala Harris has said that we need to, quote, eliminate
Donald J. Trump. A New York Democratic congressman has said that in the past.
Oh, so it wasn't Kamala Harris who said that. Got it. So. So J.D. says we can't be saying
that the country hinges on who gets elected and we can't be
saying that our opponents are fascists.
Now put aside just for a moment that J.D. Vance regularly is now posting grainy videos
purporting to be of Haitian immigrants grilling cats and dogs.
Put that aside for one second.
Here is Donald Trump this weekend in Tucson, Arizona, saying Kamala Harris is, yes,
a fascist. I thought we weren't supposed to be doing this, J.D. We must defeat comrade
Kamala Harris. I use that term because you know what that term means, right?
Communist. She's a Marxist, communist, fascist, socialist. She's not actually a socialist. She's a Marxist, communist, fascist, socialist.
She's not actually a socialist.
She's gone past that.
Right.
J.D., we can't be calling our political opponents fascists.
Trump, my opponent, is a fascist.
And Trump is big on these labels.
Here is him using not fascist, but I guess socialist or something in this crypto interview
gone wrong. You know, she had no votes, but she'd be or something in this crypto interview gone wrong.
You know, she got no votes, but she'd be very bad for the country. We have to save our country. We can't play games and we can't have a Marxist communist president because that's not what
it's all about. So, well, fortunately, there aren't any Marxist communist candidates for
Donald Trump. So listen, I mean, J.D. Vance is calling for a reduction in inflammatory political rhetoric.
Fine.
I mean, on the surface, that seems reasonable.
I would agree with that.
The problem is that the vast majority of the inflammatory political rhetoric is coming
from the guy he's running with.
Now I know they are already doing the they keep trying to kill Trump thing.
It's Republicans and former Trump voters that keep trying to kill Trump.
We'll get to that. He's asking for restraint from labeling candidates in these ways, fascist or
whatever. But he's the running mate of Trump who thrives on that exact rhetoric. When we say
Trump doesn't respect democratic institutions and it's not even
clear he likes democracy, we defend it by quoting Trump. I would be a dictator on day one.
It's OK to suspend parts or all of the Constitution if I determine that that's what we need to do.
We are citing sources when Trump says Kamala is a Marxist, communist, fascist, socialist, which
makes no sense.
But forget about that for a second.
There is no policy.
That Kamala Harris has ever proposed that falls under the umbrella of Marxism, socialism,
fascism or communism.
So this isn't really about de-escalating the political rhetoric or whatever.
It's that J.D. Vance and MAGA selectively criticize rhetoric that hurts them.
It hurts them when we point out.
I don't even know that they respect democracy because they tried to steal the 2020 election.
If the shoe were on the other foot, I'm sure that J.D. Vance's rhetoric would be
completely different. Now, we also don't want to forget that J.D. Vance himself scales up the
political rhetoric, saying I have every right to create stories like about black seeding cats
if I want to get the media's attention on that. And he's continuing to put throw conspiracies onto the fire. He's
pushing a narrative of fear. He's preaching civility, but he's certainly doing the do as I
say, not as I do sort of thing. And it's a very noticeable and naked contradiction that's there.
Now, what I want to go to next with J.D. Vance and others are doing this, too, is the rhetoric specifically surrounding the
failed assassination attempts against Donald Trump. J.D. Vance is continuing to push the notion
that liberals are violent. The left is violent. When we say I don't think Trump respects democracy,
we are the violent ones, even though it is a Republican and a former
Trump voter who went and tried to kill Donald Trump. So we're going to go to another video of
J.D. Vance from Atlanta. And he is arguing that the difference between conservatives and liberals
is that no one has tried to kill Kamala Harris.
Misses a couple of critical details.
And I know it's popular on a lot of corners of the left to say that we have a we have
a both sides problem.
I wouldn't argue that, by the way.
I think we have a one side problem.
We we know that for decades the political violence in the United States comes from the
right. The occasional left wing eco terrorist, rare, very rare, and otherwise it's right wing violence.
So we aren't saying that, J.D. And I'm not going to say we're always perfect.
I'm not going to say that conservatives always get things exactly right.
But you know, the big difference between conservatives and liberals is that we have no one has tried
to kill Kamala Harris in the last, of course, is that they were right wingers who tried to kill Donald Trump.
They were right wingers disillusioned because they lost control of the monster they created.
Disillusioned right wingers who said, I don't think this guy's going far enough.
How about taking a little responsibility for the insane racist lies about Haitians that J.D. has participated
in instead of saying, oh, we need to tone down the rhetoric.
And meanwhile, how many bomb threats in Springfield, Ohio, this week, shutting down schools thanks
to J.D.'s comments about blacks eating cats?
Vance claims that the big difference between conservatives and
liberals is no one's tried to kill Kamala Harris in the last couple of months. Now, first of all,
it's a bizarre metric to use. Vance seems to be suggesting that because Harris hasn't been the
target of an attack that we know about publicly, even though Secret Service is constantly dealing
with threats and investigating threats to President Biden and Kamala Harris.
But there hasn't been a particular one that made the news that that proves the left is
more violent, despite the fact that every organization that tracks political violence
in the United States finds that it's almost exclusively in the purview of the right to
execute and plan political violence.
So this is not about any execute and plan political violence. So this is not about
any genuine concern about political violence. This is a talking point to demonize the left.
And Vance ignores the political shooters and these violent actors being Republicans or far
right extremists. J.D. is ignoring the January 6th insurrection, the attacks on FBI offices, other incidents that
show us that anecdotally, yes, there is political violence on both sides, but it is overwhelmingly
over the last decade tied to right wing extremism.
So this is projection.
This is dishonesty.
This is all of the normal stuff we've come to expect from MAGA. And it's a deliberate
strategy. That's the thing. It's not just J.D. goes up and says, I guess I'll talk about left
wing violence. No, no, no. This is a deliberate strategy. They see that the violence is on their
side. J.D. knows it. I know he knows it because he's not stupid. He's dishonest. He's immoral,
but he's not stupid. And so heest. He's immoral, but he's not stupid.
And so he says we are going to deliberately create this narrative that liberals are the violent
extremists and we're going to ignore the escalating right wing rhetoric that my base thrives on and
that the guy I'm running with, Donald Trump, has specifically weaponized for nearly a decade in the United States.
Now, for all of what J.D. Vance is going out and doing, Trump's panicking. Trump knows this isn't
going well. Trump regrets choosing J.D. to be his running mate. And after the break, we'll look at
a little bit of what Donald Trump's been up to the last day or two. You watch YouTube, you listen to podcasts, you've heard a ton of ads for VPNs, but all

I think one of the most interesting recent developments in medicine is our new understanding
of how metabolism impacts
aspects of our health. And that's why I love our sponsor, Lumen. Lumen's the world's first
handheld metabolic coach. Quite simply, it's just a device that measures your metabolism
through your breath. And on the app, it'll tell you if you're burning fat or carbs. And on that
basis, it'll give you tailored guidance with the goal of improving nutrition, workout, sleep, even stress management. All you have to do is breathe into your lumen
first thing in the morning. You'll know what's going on with your metabolism, whether you're
burning mostly fats or carbs, and then lumen will give you a personalized nutrition plan for the
day that's based on those particular measurements. Now Now you can also breathe into it before or after workouts and meals, which gives you other sets of actionable insights.

description. Well, if you want an idea of how panicked, desperate and terrified Donald Trump
is that this is all going south for him, you need only see that he's taking an action that is
counter to his financial interests. If Trump does anything other than what's best for
him financially, even at the most minor, minute, detailed level, you know it's because he's
panicking. Trump has an interest in truth. Social Trump has a financial interest in the Trump Media
and Technology Group, which runs truth social in that doing well. Trump is incentivized to post to Truth Social,
not to Twitter. And yet Trump has been so scared and triggered that he's been posting and posting
and posting to Twitter, posting nonsense hour after hour. And you know that he's terrified
because he wouldn't be doing it. He has said, no, no, no, I no longer am really interested in
Twitter because Truth Social is the place that's hot and it's the place to be. Trump starting by promoting the launch
of his crypto scam, Liberty Financial. More about that later. Join me live on Twitter spaces at 8
p.m. this September 16th for the launch of World Liberty Financial. We're embracing the future with crypto and
leaving the slow and outdated big banks behind. Speaker 1
Yeah, Donald Trump's state of crypto address, it went horribly wrong. We'll get to that a little
bit later. He has a platform that competes with Twitter, which is failing, and he's posting on
Twitter desperate for relevance. He's been
posting entire rallies to his Twitter. Here's his whole rally from Arizona.
People, people wondering at the physics of how Trump is able to stand like that. And we do have
a team of physicists looking into it.
So posting his entire Arizona rally, then posting his entire Nevada route.
All right.
Anyway, that damn song, I can't get away with it.
Then he posts a very strange edited video,
I guess, meant to attack Kamala Harris. Remember, he said he wasn't going to be doing Twitter
because truth social is good. That's where he makes money. And he's so desperate. He's so
struggling for purchase as the election potentially slips away that he's just on Twitter. She doesn't
have a plan. She copied Biden's plan. Her policies on her website
are copied and pasted right from Joe Biden's website. They're not even hurt.
Five numbers work. We have the strongest economy. Our economy is the strongest in the world.
I build back better framework, our build back better framework to a steady and stable growth.
Anyway, the ad doesn't really sound very scary.
It all sounds like kind of good.
And then Trump moving on to written tweets or now that it's X, we call them excretions,
including that he is going to start deporting people tweeting, quote, As president, I will
immediately end the migrant invasion of America.
We must stop all migrant flights and all illegal entries, terminate the Kamala
phone app for smuggling illegals, revoke deportation immunity, suspend refugee resettlement
and return Kamala's illegal migrants to their home countries, also known as re-migration.
I will save our cities and towns in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina
and all across America.
And then continuing to tweet.
This may be the most unhinged element of it.
Quote, The rhetoric lies as exemplified by the false statements made by comrade Kamala
Harris during the rigged and highly partisan ABC debate and all of the
ridiculous lawsuits specifically designed to inflict damage on Joe's then Kamala's political
opponent, me, has taken politics in our country to a whole new level of hatred, abuse and distrust.
By the way, there's random capital letters all over this thing because of this communist left
rhetoric. The bullets are flying and it will only get worse.
None of this is true. Allowing millions of people from places unknown to invade and take over our country is an unpardonable sin. Our borders must be closed and the terrorists, criminals and
mentally insane immediately removed from American cities and towns deported back to their counties
of origin. I guess he means countries. We want people to come into
our country, but they must love our nation and come in legally and through a system of merit.
The world is laughing at us as fools. They are stealing our jobs and our wealth. We cannot let
them laugh any longer. Make America great again. This is a desperate man. And I think it's a great thing that Kamala Harris is just not taking the bait.
There was a time when the Democratic Party and more generically speaking, the left would
take the bait on the particulars of what Donald Trump would say in these multi tweet screeds. We have a better plan
now, which is we ridicule these buffoons and you carefully craft and curate your responses.
Kamala Harris during the debate making fun of Trump's rallies was perfect. Kamala Harris during the debate, laughing off Trump's blacks,
eating cats, the reading, the cats, the reading, the dogs was perfectly calibrated. And I'm glad
that now this entire Twitter thing is being reported on as there he goes again. He wasn't
going to be on Twitter. They didn't want him on Twitter.
And it's 10 posts in a few hours because he's lost it again.
We don't have to go point by point.
We calibrate where we go.
And I'm glad to see that the Harris Walls campaign is not taking the bait.
Now, there is something that happened yesterday that's really difficult not to take the bait
on. And I want
to talk about that next. A very confused Donald Trump tried to explain cryptocurrency in an
interview that was physically painful to listen to, and it did not go well. If you think Donald
Trump sounds confused when trying to explain tariffs, and he does,
just try getting him to talk about cryptocurrency.
Yesterday, Donald Trump was interviewed in a Twitter spaces event that he promoted about
some new crypto scheme that he has.
And he was so confused every time he was asked about crypto.
He just kept trying to change the topic. Trump earlier in the day hyping up this interview about his new cryptocurrency with an image
with one of the interviewers also making an announcement about it on video, which we looked
at earlier.
Join me live on Twitter spaces at 8 p.m. this September 16th for the launch of World Liberty
Financial. The September 16th for the launch of World Liberty Financial, right?
Bracing the future with crypto and leaving the slow and outdated big banks behind.
There you go.
So the event starts and Trump has no idea what's going on.
This is not an exaggeration.
This is not hyperbole.
Trump has absolutely no clue what crypto is and notice how every time he's asked
about it, he tries to change the top.
The question I have for you following up on what I was asking earlier is why is it so
important for America to lead in cryptocurrency adoption and innovation?
Well, it's crypto.
It's a I.
It's so many other things. You know, AI, speaking of an interesting future, it needs tremendous electricity capability beyond anything I've ever heard.
So he's now talking. He was asked, why is crypto matter? He goes, AI needs electricity. to me but this is what it is if you take all of the electricity coming out of the u.s in order to
have to be dominant in ai you need twice that amount just for this one thing who would think
that you need twice the electricity we already have and you got to get started i mean you have
to be if if you're the u.s you have to get started you don't want to be left in the dust and china's
already building electric plants and they want to build them for for the AI.
And it's very important. But you need tremendous electric.
And in this country, in this country, because of our strong environmental impact statement problems that we have, you know, China doesn't have those problems.
They don't do them. They just build. They said build over here, build over there with us.
You have to go through years, but I'll make it possible to create tremendous. And understand that none of this
is even about crypto. As confused as Trump sounds about electricity, the question was about crypto
electricity very rapidly. But people don't know that people don't know that you need double the
electricity of what we already have. So you want to get in, whether it's crypto or AI or other things that are coming along.
And whatever.
It's part of the game.
We want to have a great country.
We want to stay at the top.
We're making things now.
We're starting,
and it started under my administration
that there was no chance
of ever even getting involved
in for a long time.
We're leading the pack in so many ways.
One of the things I'm very proud of
is Space Force.
Oh, man.
And the interviewer is just desperate that this is the man that we're told we're supposed
to trust about the economy.
He doesn't even understand the question.
He doesn't understand what crypto is.
He doesn't know how it works.
He just wants you to buy his crypto just like he wanted you to donate to him, just like
he wants you to vote to him now to vote for him.
Now, there were some other funny moments, including when Trump started talking about
Russia and China and just complete delusions.
We've been treated, I think, very unfairly, but I've done so well.
It's you know, it's an amazing country in some ways,
but we have evil forces. You have the outside forces with the enemies and, you know, you call
them Russia, China, various places. I don't know that they're enemies. I think we'll get along
great with China. I think we'll get along great with Russia. I want to get Russia to
settle up with Ukraine and stop this. Millions of people people being killed far greater than the number you read about.
But I want to get that done before I even take office.
I want to get.
Yeah, listen, the only way that he can, quote, get that done before taking office is completely
selling out Ukraine, as well as our traditional allies around the world.
This guy is enamored with dictators. He's a patsy. He's
pathetic and he'll do whatever Putin and Orban and she and Duterte. He just loves these folks.
He loves these folks. Finally, during this crypto interview gone wrong, Trump again invoking it must have been
God that saved me from the assassination.
There's something going on.
I mean, perhaps it's God wanting me to be president to save this country.
Nobody knows.
But when I made the right turn, it's very unusual because the people weren't on the
right.
The people were standing out in front of me. When I turned my head at an exact 90 degree angle, the bullet came
zooming by and clipped my ear. And the reason so much blood they they told me at the hospital,
I said, why so much? The ear is the bloodiest part of the body because of.
I said to them, doctor, sir, why so much blood? And they said,
well, the ear has so much blood. There's another interpretation, by the way, which is God keeps
sending shooters. I mean, it's so crazy because these sorts of conversations are unfalsifiable,
no matter what you say, just as, quote, believable as God keeps saving me from the shooters. God had me turn my
head so that the bullet would kill some random innocent guy or God had the shooter a couple
holes ahead of me on the golf course such that Secret Service would be able to spot him before
he killed. One interpretation is that's God saving Trump. The other interpretation is God's determined to
kill Trump and he's going to send shooter after shooter until one of them finally gets him. It's
all nonsense. It's all nonsense. And to be totally frank, I don't even know that Trump believes it.
I think he thinks it's nonsense, too. With elections right around the corner and MAGA
willing to do anything to secure his win,
I can't recommend enough using ground news to stay up to date on debates and other issues that
right wing outlets will try to skew or ignore. Our longtime sponsor, Ground News, adds clarity
to every news story by putting together a multitude of sources in one place. And you
can compare coverage and decide for yourself.
Like this story, the DNC is suing the Georgia Election Board over Republican supported rules
that allow local election boards to question and withhold election certification, potentially
causing chaos after Election Day.
The summary of this story on Ground News is based on every article Ground News found reporting
on it.
And with a simple scroll, you can see how different outlets across the political spectrum
are framing the story.
Voter suppression is real.
And in this case, the perpetrators are elected officials who can be voted out, but only if
the public understands the story from every angle.
And that's where Ground News comes in. Thank you delete them.

All right, let's talk about they they has a very pernicious role in political discussions
and in general. You know, I talk to people all the time. They go, they won't let me X, Y, Z.
And I say, oh, yeah, who is they? I don't know. In this particular
case, as applied to the assassination attempts and would be assassination attempts against
Donald Trump, they is particularly dangerous because Republicans keep talking about they
as if it's certainly not them and as if it's people somewhere on the left.
Are they Democrats?
Are they even to the left of Democrats?
Who are they?
Except the problem is that the they that tried to kill Trump or had the idea of trying to
kill Trump, even though this second shooter didn't actually shoot his fires gun, is that
they are Republicans and former Trump supporters that keep doing
it.
It's not they it's we.
Why do our voters, Republican leaders, should be saying keep trying to kill our nominee?
Well, here is Tommy Tuberville on Fox News saying they keep trying to kill Trump.
And he says, in fact, it's so dangerous out there because of them
that the Navy SEALs should be protecting Donald Trump. We need to get the military involved,
which is a whole other discussion we're going to have in a moment.
Trying to kill the only guy that has a chance to get this fixed. And of course, President
Biden, I don't know who's running our country, but somebody needs to step to the plate and
at least act like you care about a Republican
candidate.
But they truly don't.
They they could care less.
There needs to be sealed.
It's they couldn't care less.
Get it right.
Teams there needs to be military.
I don't know what these people are thinking.
And of course, Chuck Schumer and McConnell and all these people up here running around
with all kind of security in Washington, D.C. and the one man that we need to protect his life is Donald Trump.
And they refuse to do it.
One registered Republican and one Trump supporter from 2016 who wanted Nikki Haley or Vivek
Ramaswamy to be the nominee this time around plot to kill Trump.
And they want to argue that it's the left
that is violent. Now, this is classic fear mongering. There's no evidence. There's no
specifics. He just talks about all the things they are trying to do. Inflammatory rhetoric
meant to stir up fear, rally Trump's base around the perpetual false sense of victimhood that they want to ascribe
to Trump. And there's another aspect to this that's a little scary, which is that Trump already
has Secret Service protection. Trump is supposedly very wealthy and could supplement Secret Service
protection with his own security if Secret Service was OK with it. I could also imagine a scenario
where Secret Service says it's not really protocol. You know, let us let us handle it. But the point here is invoking the
military isn't just unnecessary. It's part of the attempt to paint Trump as a wartime leader under
siege. He is such a target. They keep trying to kill him. He needs the military around him and Secret
Service around that or vice versa. However, you would draw the concentric circles. But of course,
none of this is true. It's Republicans and former Trump voters who anecdotally have tried to carry
out these attacks. So they want to ramp up fear. They want to ramp up division. They want to
portray Trump as the ultimate target of the left, even though it's right wingers who are going after
him, which only further polarizes the country. And they at the end of the day are they've decided
they want to be in an alternate reality where Trump is the perpetual victim of some sinister
plot. It could be the deep state.
It could be the socialist, the fascist, whoever.
Right.
Anybody but our own people who's actually the people going after him.
And when you start suggesting that a former president's life is in danger, thanks to the
left and that military action is needed, you're sort of at the edge of saying even if it looks like he lost,
if they are willing to try to kill him, they are willing to try to steal the election as
well.
And this is the larger tactic where the victims were persecuted.
You should be afraid.
And we need extreme measures.
That's the pot at the end of the rainbow.
If you believe all of this stuff we're telling you you when on November 5th, late at night, November 6th in the morning, we
say, hey, you know what? They tried to kill me and now they have stolen the election from
me. It might be more likely to work to get your supporters to be violent, as they already were on January 6th, or to support
you trying to take the Oval Office even when you lose. It's very, very serious and scary stuff.
If you thought the English language couldn't take any more abuse after watching the latest Trump
rally, Trump absolutely brutalizing the English language with a series of unhinged posts on truth social.
Wait, where's my truth social? But truth central. There it is. Nuclear collaboration.
That's a different guy who brutalized the English language. OK, Trump taking to truth central
Trump taking to truth central and reposting the same nonsense that he has posted
to Twitter. I'm not going to read this entire one, but he reposted his whole we must close the border,
remove people, take them out. Kamala's bad. Biden's bad. Communist, all this completely
insane stuff. And then he went on into another one of his pseudo racist rants.
And I call them pseudo racist because I want to leave it up to you to determine whether
it's racist.
Trump posting illegal migrants who are pouring into our country in record numbers are taking
the jobs away from black and Hispanic people who have held them for years. This is how Trump is racist in
trying to show how not racist he is with his whole black and Hispanic jobs thing. It is devastating
for the black and Hispanic patriots of our nation. These jobs are not replaceable and never will be
because under Comrade Kamala Harris, the border will be wide open and there
will always be more people coming in, many of them terrorists and criminals than jobs
available.
Caps lock then goes on and Trump says Kamala is killing black and Hispanic heritage.
She is killing their legacy and their rights.
Register and vote for your all time favorite president. Me.
November 5th will be the most important day in the history of our country. Make America great
again. This is the classic, classic example of projection, of blaming the other side, of doing that which you are actually doing.
It is Maga which has said, yes, we'll bring black and Hispanic people up on stage with
Trump as long as they wholeheartedly endorse the completely whacked out Trump and MAGA ideology, as long as they erase every last detail of what
made them black or Hispanic, then they are welcome on the stage. It is Trump who is trying to erase
those heritages. And of course, I can tell you as someone myself who's Hispanic, I'll be at the White House tomorrow for Hispanic Heritage Month.
And I'm an immigrant from Argentina.
Spanish is my first language.
I can assure you that there has been nothing under Biden Harris that has in any way limited,
repressed or suppressed Hispanic heritage, which, by the way, is not just one thing.
Mexican culture, very different from Colombian culture, Chilean culture, Puerto Rican culture,
Argentinian culture. This is another example of Trump almost inadvertently, seemingly
stumbling across something that actually applies to what Trump and MAGA are doing. It's pathetic,
yes, but it does actually seem to be working. This is this is the most terrifying part. I hate
to admit this, but I would never lead you astray when it comes to the facts. It is the case that
Hispanic Americans, to a greater degree than we have seen in past elections are leaning
towards Donald Trump.
Not me, obviously, you know that.
But it is a scary thing and it is starting to go beyond Cubans and Venezuelans.
For those who don't know, for reasons we've talked about before, a Cuban Americans and
Venezuelan Americans or said in another way, Cuban immigrants to
the United States, Venezuelan immigrants to the United States have been the Hispanic Americans
most likely to vote for Republicans.
And it comes to do with Cubans believe they are voting against Castro when they vote for
Republicans.
Venezuelans believe they are voting against Chavez Maduro and that regime when they vote for Republicans. Venezuelans believe they are voting against Chavez Maduro and that regime
when they vote for Republicans. Now, I happen not to believe that that's the case, but that's what
they believe. And that's why historically Cubans and Venezuelans have been more right leaning
than other Hispanic Americans. That is even changing now. And we are seeing Hispanic
Americans not of Cuban or Venezuelan origin starting to lean a little bit towards Donald
Trump. Extraordinarily terrifying stuff. We have a voicemail number that you can call
any time you want to call at 3 a.m. Do it. If you want to call it 5 a.m. on a Saturday,
go ahead. Here is a caller with a very, very good question as to why the discussions of the would be Trump
assassins are being framed the way that they are.
Listen to this.
Why, when two white Americans shoot at the president or attempt to.
Do the Republicans always turn around and start talking about illegal alien?
Ah, thank you.
Well, we know why.
We know why.
Listen, this is not new.
It's visible right now because the two people who tried to kill Trump are native born white
men with guns. Very boring in terms of the narratives of blacks
eating cats and dangerous illegals and lurid stories that Trump likes to tell. It's not very
convenient for that storyline. And so what do they have left? But when Trump is asked about the Haitian migrants two days ago or yesterday, he says the real problem is the border, which is wide open and undocumented brown people are coming in.
He doesn't say brown people. He just says the countries that they're from. When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. So if your Haitian migrant story is debunked, you say the
border is still the problem. If the people who go after you rather than being nonwhite left wingers
who somehow got access to guns illegally but are actually just native born Americans who very
easily were able to just buy firearms. You don't talk about that. No, of course not. That goes
counter to your story. You go and you just say, well, the problem is illegal aliens. That
remains the problem. They have a hammer and the hammer is Democrats want an open border and
non-native born Americans are coming in and causing all the problems.
You see everything like a nail and it's unfortunately working to convince a lot of people.
We have a fantastic bonus show for you today.
Do Americans support the tariff plan that has been outlined by Trump?
Shockingly, they do by a small margin.
Why?
We will discuss.
