I can't believe this is where we find ourselves, but we may be moving to the end of the Iran
war by basically bringing back the Obama nuclear deal that Trump scrapped and which started
this entire garden path to the war in which we now find ourselves.
At the same time, serious questions about whether people made hundreds of millions of dollars
trading on inside information related to Donald Trump's military decisions.
There's a Republican senator who went on Fox News and said, we had a deal to get TSA agents
paid and get the whole thing back up and running.
And there was one person that said no.
And that person is Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, Republicans are still trying to blame Democrats for this.
We'll also going to look at a completely unraveled press conference with bizarre answers, contradictions,
and real questions as to who is in charge here.
And as if that were not enough, Donald Trump is at Graceland, Signing guitars, Grace Land,
Graceland, signing guitars while the country is at war and service members have died.
The themes in today's episode are pretty clear.
None of them are particularly good, plus the latest on what many are tracking, gas prices.
I cannot believe what I'm about to tell you.
This is one of the most outrageous bits of news that I think I have ever presented to my audience.
And in a way, I'm ashamed even though it has nothing to do with me.
I'm ashamed because of what is happening in this country.
the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, the Obama nuclear deal, which Trump said is terrible.
And Trump scrapped in 2018 because he didn't like it.
We have now learned that the framework that the Trump administration is considering to end
the current optional Iran war, the deal that is now being negotiated is essentially the
Obama-Iran nuclear deal.
Think about that after scrapping the deal in 2018, even though Iran was sticking to the terms
of the deal as far as the evidence shows.
And Iran saying, well, then we will restart nuclear research and uranium enrichment.
And Trump's saying, well, now we've got to bomb Iran in June to destroy their nuclear capabilities.
And then saying even though we did that, now we've got to start a war with Iran just a few weeks ago.
After all of that, which started with Trump going, we got to get out of this deal, this deal is bad,
what is now on the table to maybe end this war, according to the Trump administration, Iran's like
there have been no negotiations.
According to the Trump administration is putting a version of that same Obama-Iran nuclear
deal back in place.
Now, I started to suspect that that's what was going on after seeing Donald Trump
say the following when asked about these negotiations.
You said there's many points of agreement with Iran right now.
Many.
Like 15 points.
15 points.
15 points.
Well, they're not going to have a nuclear weapon.
That's number one.
That's number one, two, and three.
They will never have a nuclear weapon.
They've agreed to that.
All right.
Now, Iran says that this is completely made up.
But after seeing this, I did a little bit of research into what the administration is saying.
are the negotiating points and the deal points.
And the more and more deeply I looked at what was on the table, I realized Trump seems to be positioning
himself to accept more or less the terms of the original Iran nuclear deal that was signed
by Barack Obama when he was president with Iran to end this war, even though that deal
was supposedly so bad that Trump scrapped it and it is what led to this war.
Think about that.
Now, what's being negotiated?
Okay.
I mean, the strait of Hormuz would be opened.
Fine.
Iran would stop enrichment of uranium.
Iran would suspend ballistic missile programs for five years.
Iran would dismantle three nuclear facilities.
Iran says that there would have to be a ceasefire.
There would have to be guarantees against new hostilities.
The United States would not go after Iran.
would be some compensation involved. Now remember, when the Iran nuclear deal under Obama
gave them money, Republicans went crazy. Obama, but remember that it was that the Iran nuclear
deal under Obama released money that was tied up due to sanctions. It wasn't Obama cutting
checks. It was like, okay, we've held a bunch of money. We're going to release the money
as part of the deal. And Republicans said, how can you do that? How can you do that? How?
How can you do that?
And part of what is now being discussed for this new deal is that there will be some compensation.
There will be, listen to this, international monitoring of what Iran is doing with regard to nuclear,
meaning inspectors.
This was a major part of the Obama deal, which Trump said, we can't trust the monitors.
We can't trust the inspectors.
Iran is lying to everybody.
There would be a regional arms control agreement and Iran would agree to end funding for groups
like Hezbollah, Yemen's Houthis, as well as Hamas.
Now I think it is relevant to mention that these are the initial negotiating positions, more
than likely, more than likely, if there is going to be an agreement here, it is going to be somewhere
the laundry list of demands. In other words, what I just read to you is the we would like list.
This is what we would love, what the United States would love, what Iran would love. But most of the time
when you have a negotiation, you end up somewhere short of that. So what we have as the possible
end to this war, which was caused by Trump ending, ripping up that agreement back in 2018 for no
real reason, where we might end up is reconstituting the Obama nuclear deal under a different
name, I'm sure, and it might not even be as strict by the time the negotiations are done.
I guys, what on earth are we doing?
Now, it's important to remember that a lot of Republicans have argued and continue to argue,
Trump had to rip up that deal because Iran wasn't sticking to it.
I have found no evidence of that.
And if you go back, I remember when this
debate was being had in 2017 into 2018 when Trump ultimately ripped up the deal.
Trump was claiming, oh, Iran is violating the deal.
But the only contemporaneous thing I was able to find was the right-wing Israeli prime
minister Benjamin Netanyahu claiming Iran has violated the deal with the same type of shoddy
evidence that was used to claim that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction back in 2003,
which they didn't got us into a war, though.
So I am completely unconvinced that Iran was violating that deal.
Do I like the Ayatollah?
No.
Do I think extreme theocratic regimes are good for the citizens of a country?
Of course not.
Do I think Iran should have a nuclear weapon?
No.
Iran is one of the few countries that regularly threatens the existence of other countries.
I don't think they should have a nuclear weapon.
Well, should the U.S., that's a different question.
Maybe nobody should have nuclear weapons.
within the framework here, which is there was a deal.
There was no evidence Iran violated the deal.
Trump ripped it up for no reason, caused Iran to go back to nuclear enrichment, uranium enrichment,
subsequently led to Trump going in in June and subsequently led to Trump going in again now.
And the way we might get out of this is putting back in place a deal that is extraordinarily
similar to what was the problem in the first place.
This is pathetic guys.
lives are being lost over Trump's ego and incompetence.
So yeah, we should be furious about this.
We should be furious about it because it's humiliating on the world stage.
We should be furious about it because gas prices are up 45% since mid January because of this.
We should be furious because we are seeing a loss of life.
American service members, never mind Iranian civilians.
We should be furious about this.
these people should be voted into oblivion in seven months and a week and a half, I guess,
seven to just short of seven and a half months.
But imagine if what it takes to end this is the deal that was supposedly the problem back in
2015, 2018, reconstituted with Trump signature on it.
You got to be kidding me.
And we haven't even gotten to the corruption yet, which we need to do right now.
You know, there are stories where you say, hey, you know what?
We need more evidence.
We need more evidence before we can really make a judgment.
And then there are stories where you look at the timeline and you look at the circumstances and
you just throw your hands up and you go, oh, come on.
Because what has just happened with Donald Trump, oil markets, energy markets, and stock
markets is absolutely insane. And it points to one thing, insider trading and people who traded
on information they knew ahead of time about what Donald Trump was planning to say.
Minutes before Donald Trump announced that he was delaying strikes on Iranian energy infrastructure
yesterday morning, there was a massive and very unusual spike in trading activity.
We're talking about more than $800 million placed in oil and S&P futures in one minute, which is not normal.
And the trades were really specific.
They were betting.
Oil prices are about to go down.
And the stock market is going to go up.
Minutes later yesterday, 723 a.m.
Donald Trump goes on his platform, Truth Social.
Truth central.
And says, hey, you know what?
We're making such great progress with Iran that I'm going to be able to delay my strikes
on their energy facilities.
And immediately, I showed you the charts yesterday.
Oil prices drop sharply.
Market futures surge.
The stock market has a huge day yesterday.
And that makes it so that those trades just minutes earlier were extraordinary.
extraordinarily profitable.
Well, that is really quite a coincidence.
Maybe it was luck.
Maybe out there someone put their finger to the wind or held up their maga hat and saw
which way the wind pushed it.
It's not a real maga hat, by the way.
And said, you know what?
I just think for no reason that today is a good day to bet that stock market numbers
are going to go up and that oil prices.
are going to go down.
But does anybody believe that?
Do you believe that for a second?
Maybe what really happened is the obvious thing.
Someone knew in advance what was going to be announced, which is the explanation that makes
a lot more sense to normal people and to anybody that knows the way that Trump and his family
operate.
And it got even worse because Iran immediately denied that these negotiations were happening
at all.
They're like, this is all fake news.
What is Trump talking about?
This hasn't happened.
So now we have to consider whether the announcement itself was used to move markets.
It wasn't, oh, there are negotiations that are going well.
And Trump is about to announce it.
I'm going to trade on it.
That would be bad enough.
It may be the case that Trump lied, knowing that he's lying, knowing that there have been
no successful negotiations and said, I'm going to post this anyway to move the markets.
And of course, everybody who knows that he's going to do that,
then can take the opportunity to profit from it. Now, if this were the only time we suspected
this sort of potential corruption, it would be like, all right, well, listen, there's no history
of this. We have no reason to think that this is the way this administration operates, but it's not.
We have had a number of situations with suspicious betting activity around major events tied to
Trump military decisions or geopolitical decisions. Remember with Nicholas Maduro, there were extraordinarily
suspicious trades on betting markets right before Trump went in, sent troops in.
Of course, Trump didn't go in himself to Venezuela and kidnapped Nicholas Maduro and seized
their oil.
So we see the pattern, which is these large bets go in right before something happens and
then the bets pay out and it happens again and again and again.
Now the White House response to all of this is basically, hey, there's really no evidence of that.
You shouldn't be asking questions.
This is crazy.
What are you guys talking about?
It's the fake news media.
Not really an answer.
As is often the case from this administration.
Now I'm sure that any second the investigations will begin, right?
And this will be taken very seriously, right?
And we're going to have consequent.
Obviously not.
Obviously not.
Of course that's not going to happen.
And we all know it's not going to happen because we've seen this play out before.
It's never investigated.
Remember, you know, I was laughing this morning reading about.
this remember all of the Biden crime family nonsense years and years of hearings with endless allegations
and breathless coverage on Fox News and they found nothing of substance, nothing of substance.
And here you have something that looks like textbook insider trading. Insider trading tied to
military decisions. Insider trading tied to presidential announcements on strategy and and nobody's interested
in it. Pam Bondi's certainly not interested in it. That's for sure. We've got no wall to wall coverage
on Fox News. We've got no urgent congressional hearings. It's like, eh, why are you asking about that?
Now, Jessica Tarlov on Fox News is talking about it with her Mayo Brained co-hosts. We'll look at
videos of that later. But short of that, it's you're not hearing a peep from right wing media
about what seems pretty blatant here.
Now, even if something illegal did happen, and it was undeniable, you know what they would say.
They would go, these were official acts.
Everything is completely protected.
We go, what are you talking about?
Insider trading is an official act.
They would go, yep, it's all official, totally legal, nothing to see here.
It's what the founders would have wanted, presidents making decisions that can move markets and enrich insiders.
George Washington would have been thrilled.
Oh, and by the way, thank you to the Supreme Court for clearing that up because apparently
this is just how things are supposed to work in the system.
I'm being sarcastic, obviously.
So what we are increasingly seeing is allegedly, circumstantially, global conflict being used
as a tool to generate profit.
And this is very, very dark.
So we land on a pretty straightforward question at this point.
Is there insider trading going on here or something very close to it?
And what if anything can, should and will be done about it?
Not an abstract question.
You know, sometimes we have these.
Imagine that Trump on election day decides to, you know, take off his oversized suit
and burn it along with a bunch of ballots.
Well, what would we do?
All right, well, that's theoretical.
That's a hypothetical.
I don't think Trump's going to do that.
We're in a real situation.
This is happening.
It seems to be happening every couple of weeks with something.
And people are making a lot of money on this.
War and energy and global stability decisions are potentially being used as part of a money
making scheme behind the scenes.
I have a question for the MAGAs that voted for Trump.
How does this level of corruption make you feel if you're even able to acknowledge that
this seems corrupt?
Because for a lot of people, it seems as though it's all completely rigged and they don't care
about the partisan angle on it.
They're just ready to say we need this to be over, which is why I believe that an anti-corruption
platform is a very smart thing for Democrats to consider running on.
But if you are a MAGA who is not at all concerned by what you're seeing here, I want to hear
from you.
Why doesn't this bother you?
It seems so obvious.
Do you think it's somehow going to be something you can benefit from someday?
Do you think you're going to enrich yourself from this sort of corruption?
Let me know.
I want to hear from the magas.

tomorrow. There is a narrative being pushed that Democrats are to blame for TSA agents not getting
paid during the shutdown. Democrats are to blame for long lines at pre-check at Minneapolis and Houston
airport and it's all Democrats.
And that narrative has completely fallen apart.
As soon as you listen, not to what Democrats are saying, not to what left-wing pundits or
as it's often mispronounced, pundance.
Who the hell came up with that, by the way, pundits.
Give me a break.
It is what Republican elected officials are saying on television.
Republican Senator John Kennedy, no relation to the.
the Democratic Kennedy family, nor any relation to the no longer Democratic Robert F. Kennedy
Jr. Senator John Kennedy went on TV and he said, listen, Senator Ted Cruz and I, we had a plan
to get Homeland Security reopened, to get TSA back to full staffing, to pay TSA workers.
The plan was really simple.
Reopen almost everything right away and then just separate the ICE funding part, which is the
controversial part.
Do reconciliation, go through the reconciliation process and we'll get ICE funded later.
And Kennedy admits on Fox News, okay, not some lefty on a liberal rag.
This is a Republican senator on Fox News.
He says the reason it didn't happen is Trump said no.
Listen to this.
Senator Cruz and I came up with a plan.
We said, look, it's a two-step process.
The Democrats have offered to open up everything but ICE.
Ted and I said, okay, let's accept their offer.
And then at the same time, we would offer a bill for reconciliation where we don't need any Democratic votes to do whatever we wanted to do with ICE.
And that way we're out of the shutdown and DHS is back open.
We submitted that, Senator Cruthon submitted that to President Trump, as is his right.
He said no.
No deals with the Democrats.
It would.
Wow.
Wow.
Worked.
We could have had TSA paid by the end of the week, but the president said no deal.
In other words, in other words, Republicans would still get what they wanted on immigration
without needing Democratic votes for that second part at all.
And according to Kennedy, this would have had TSA workers paid by the end of the week, which
is a pretty important detail.
So what happened?
Why did that not move forward if Republicans had a path to get all of the stuff they wanted done?
Well, according to John Kennedy, Trump said no deals with Democrats and he shut the entire thing
down himself.
This was not Democrats saying, let's keep it closed.
This was not some esoteric, complicated legislative process.
There was no confusion.
Trump said no and it would have fixed the problem.
So now, TSA agents are missing paychecks.
People are quitting.
Agents are calling in sick.
Airports are absolute and utter chaos.
Thousands of TSA officers have not shown up for work.
Hundreds of quit since the shutdown began, which is not sustainable.
Airports are saying to travelers, you got to show up hours early because the system is breaking
down in real time while this continues.
I think my family and I are going to show up.
four hours before our flight to Argentina next week because there's only one of those a day
at a JFK. And I don't want to miss it. So I guess we're showing up four hours early. I don't know.
And despite all of this, Republicans are still going out and publicly saying this is the
Democrat shutdown. This is a situation Trump created. And this is a situation Trump vetoed fixing.
And this is where it almost gets absurd because the admission is out there from one of their own senators on Fox News.
It's not an obscure quote from a socialist to some communist publication.
It's Fox News and it's Senator John Kennedy.
But the messaging machine just keeps pounding as if he never said it.
And we're supposed to, yeah, I guess it's Democrats.
I don't know.
But a Republican said it's Trump's fault.
Trump reportedly said, we must pass the Save America Act in order to do this.
Now, what is outrageous about that, and this is a detail that hasn't been mentioned, but it should
be considered, even if there was a willingness to consider passing the Save America Act
and connecting it to opening DHS, the Save America Act just doesn't have the votes in the Senate
period.
Like, it's not even about it needs to be done together or several.
The Senate doesn't want to pass the Save America Act, at least not as written right now.
So Trump is effectively holding TSA agent paychecks hostage.
And they don't get paid particularly well.
These are not highly compensated people who likely have huge savings and can just live off of
their savings for whatever period they need to.
These are relatively underpaid people.
And their paychecks are being held hostage because Trump said no deals with Democrats.
So you've got a situation now where the question becomes, who are voters ultimately going to blame?
Now, later in the show, I'm going to play for you some clips that certainly suggest
Americans aren't falling for it.
Americans are blaming Trump.
They're being interviewed at airports and being asked, who do you blame for this?
Some of them play coy.
They go, I blame our leaders.
All right.
Well, leaders.
That could be Democrats or Republicans.
Although Republicans are in charge of everything right now.
But a lot of people that are being interviewed are saying, I blame Trump.
And they are right to do that.
This is one of those moments where the spin is so obvious and palpable that it's almost insulting
to Americans to tell them this is the fault of Democrats.
Democrats control nothing and Trump said no deals with Democrats.
It's not complicated.
It's not hidden.
You don't need a two year investigation to figure it out when they're directly admitting it on TV.
And yet they want you to believe the opposite of the truth.
You should be insulted.
You should look at these republics.
whether you're a Trump voter or not and go, hey, you know what?
I'm not so stupid and gullible that I'm going to accept something that is the opposite of what
John Kennedy just admitted out loud.
So what happens next?
I have no idea.
It would be nice if they could fix this before my flight, but that's me.
That's me making myself the main character here, which I'm not.
The bigger issue is that when you have the world looking at these lines in many hours,
that stretch into the parking garage and people go, is this the precheck line? Yes, it is.
And they wait hours and as they get to the front, they start going, it looks like prechecks
over there. Have I been waiting in the wrong line for two hours? People from other countries
look at us and they go, is this a developed country or is this a developing country? These
are the sorts of airport situations you expect in, I don't want to insult anybody, but these are
situations I've expected when flying out of airports in other parts of the world, but not in the
United States. And that is where we find ourselves right now. So my question to the voters is,
how do you feel that when you are lied to so obviously and told, don't trust your eyes and ears,
just believe Trump? I find it disgusting and appalling. And agitated Donald Trump lost
it at a press conference gone wrong, completely delusional, and again, raising questions, why can't Trump
just talk kind of like a normal person?
Why is it so difficult for him to just relate to people normally?
After Trump put out a statement saying, hey, you know what?
I'm not going to have to bomb Iran's nuclear facilities yet because we're making really
big progress.
Iran said, huh?
Oh, I'm sorry.
Hold on.
Do I have it here?
Huh.
Huh?
Yeah.
Iran said, we're not aware of any progress.
So then Trump was asked a good question.
Who are you speaking with on the Iranian side?
Who is Steve Whitkoff speaking with?
And Trump goes, I can't tell you that.
I can't tell you that.
Who is Steve Wiccuff speaking with, Mr.
President?
A top person.
Don't forget, we've wiped out the leadership phase one, phase two, and largely phase three.
But we're dealing with the man who I believe is.
the most respected and the leader, you know, it's a little tough. They've wiped out, we've wiped out
everybody. Is that the Supreme Leader? No, not the Supreme Leader. We don't, well, nobody's ever,
nobody heard of the second Supreme Leader, the Sun. Are these direct? Nobody, we have not heard from
the Sun. Every once in a while you see a statement made, but we haven't, we don't know of
his living. But the people that seem to be running it, and they seem that based on really fact,
Because things they've said have taken place.
I don't want them to be killed.
Right. If Trump told us who was getting negotiated, who is being negotiated with,
that person would be killed. And that's why Trump can't tell us. You know, this reminds me of
there's this not thought experiment, sort of an example of special pleading.
Hey, I think there's an invisible tiger in the room with us right now.
Do you? Okay. Well, let's do this. I'm going to sprinkle baby powder all over the floor so that when the
invisible tiger walks, we will at least see the baby powder disturbed. Even though we won't be able to
see the invisible tiger. We'll see the baby powder. They go, no, the invisible tiger is also
weightless and it doesn't disturb the baby powder. Okay. Well, it must need to eat. Let's do this.
we can prove the existence of the invisible weightless tiger.
I'm going to put a beautiful steak down in the corner.
And at some point, even though the tiger is invisible, even though the tiger is weightless,
we will see the steak start to be consumed when the tiger gets hungry.
No, the invisible weightless tiger also doesn't need to eat.
That is a representation of what is happening here.
We are very much advanced in negotiations with Iran.
Iran goes, there are no negotiations going on.
Oh, okay.
Well, if you're negotiating with Iran, tell us who you're negotiating with.
Top person, but I can't tell you who it is because then they would be killed.
Is there anyone in my audience who believes this?
Anyone?
Trump was asked about the deployment of ICE to airports and was asked the question, will ICE be
arresting illegal migrants at airports. And Trump says, yes, it's fertile territory. Appetizing.
Delicious.
Direct.
The arrest or legal migrant arrests at airports, sir.
Arrests.
Will we see ICE arresting illegal migrants?
Yeah. Yeah. That's why the Democrats are going crazy because they've allowed by what they did
and hold up. We put ice who are a very high level. I mean, they really are a high level.
level group of people and they love it because they're able to now arrest illegals as they come
into the country.
You know, I'm reminded about the fact that Trump doesn't seem to understand the difference
between permanent status and legal status.
What am I talking about?
Well, let's back up a little bit.
For years now, Trump has been saying the problem is the border.
The problem is the border.
We've got to get a wall up there and we need ice and CBP and border patrol and drones and a fence and all of this stuff because illegals are coming over the border.
Got it.
So then what are we doing at the airports?
I guess they could have just flown commercial the entire time.
Now, what's ironic about this is many of us have been saying.
If you really want to deal with this issue, rather than this wall, you've got to start dealing with visa.
overstays or you might say we need to look at people who are here on a tourist or student visa,
but are working.
By the way, Melania Trump was here working without work authorization before she became a citizen.
Let's put that hypocrisy aside for a moment.
I guess all along, we didn't really need to be doing the border stuff.
We could have just gone to the airports.
Now, this is what gets me to the next point of Trump's confusion.
If you are here with a court date awaiting an asylum hearing, if you are here on a work visa,
if you're here as a tourist, if you are here in any of these circumstances, you are here legally.
You may not have permanent status.
You may have a status which allows you to be here for a certain period of time after which
you either need to leave or you need to go and get an updated status.
But you were here legally.
Trump does not distinguish between permanent status and legality.
When we as Americans go to Europe, we are limited in how much time we can be there.
We went in through the airport.
I think you, I think it's like 180 days is the max.
I've never been there the max.
So I'm not sure.
But we are there legally.
We just don't have permanent status.
Trump doesn't give a damn.
He has no idea.
He was asked, was it your idea to send ice to airports?
And he goes, yes, it was my idea.
I'm a big boy.
Thank you very much.
Who's idea was that?
What is in the airport?
We're dealing really mine.
That was mine.
That was like the paper clip.
You know the story of the paper clip?
182 years ago, a man discovered the paper clip.
It was so simple.
And everybody that looked at it and said, why didn't I think of that?
Ice was my idea.
Right.
I called.
First person I called was Tom Holman.
I said, what do you think?
He said, I think it's great.
Then I saw today there was some masks on.
I didn't think the masks were appropriate.
I put out a statement and I asked them, would it be possible to take off the mask?
Because they should wear a mask when they're dealing with the murderers and the thugs left in, let it into our country.
Trump's idea of putting ice in airports is like when someone invented the paper clip.
Trump upset with a newsmax reporter who attempted to ask Trump a real.
question and he goes, you're doing a terrible job.
The president, you've deployed ice agents to American airports.
Newsman, sir.
You deployed ice agents.
You're not doing a very good job.
You're not doing a good job.
Did you hear me?
Okay, go ahead.
What exactly do you?
Oh, this guy is crazier.
This guy is nuttier than squirrel poop.
I got to tell you.
Finally, a very good question from Caitlin Collins.
Listen, when the Obama nuclear deal gave Iran or unlocked, you know, or unlocked, you know, it was
released a bunch of Iranian money.
You said that's bad.
But now your treasury has lifted sanctions on Iranian oil.
You're effectively giving the money.
Why was it bad when Obama did it and it's okay when you do it?
And Trump goes, well, it's different this stuff.
Can I ask you, the treasury lifted sanctions on Iranian oil that was out to see you criticized
President Obama for giving Iran $1.7 billion.
I just want to have as much oil in the system as possible.
And we don't even know if Iran gets that money. Frankly, I think it's very hard for them to get it.
But you have ships that are out there that are loaded up with oil. Rather than keep it there,
I would rather see it go to the system. Any small amount of money that Iran gets is not going to have any difference in this war.
But I want to have the system be lubricated.
Lubricated.
Do you get $14 billion? You don't think helps them?
Where's the $14 billion?
Because the inflated price, they get $14 billion from the...
I don't think they're getting the money.
All right.
Um, Trump's basically sort of like, listen, sweetheart.
You got to smile more the way he said to Caitlin Collins before.
It's different because it's Trump and it's different because listen, Caitlin, I'm trying to
manipulate the oil markets.
It's completely different when I do it than when Obama does it.
Do you realize how much money was made based on my post and what we're doing here with these
oil markets?
A very good question.
And as we start to think and realize.
It looks like Trump is trying to negotiate something almost identical to the Iran nuclear deal.
This may have all been to line the pockets of Trump's friends and family.
I hope that that's not the case, but it's certainly pointing that way.

What should a president be doing when the United States is at war?
I am not extraordinarily prescriptive in the sense that.
Presidents have big, wide-ranging jobs.
They might be hosting kids at the White House for a science fair while a war is raging in a place
like Iran.
They might have to make nice with dignitaries from a country that has nothing to do with the war
that's going on as decisions are being made behind the scenes that lead to, for example, the
deaths of American service members.
I don't naively believe that when there is a war, the only thing a president can and should
be doing is sitting there in the situation room all day.
But should going to Graceland the museum made from, I guess, Elvis's former home or I could not
possibly care less about Elvis or Graceland.
So I don't know.
But should you be going to Graceland and signing guitars while you are in an optional war?
Gas is almost $4 a gallon up 45% from two months ago.
And you're flying on Air Force One wasting six figures in fuel to sign guitars at Elvis's old house.
This is the wartime president. Here is Donald Trump doing exactly that. And by the way,
the sacrilege of having Trump sign a guitar. Oh,
Too great honor.
Holder.
Is any-
Trump visibly struggling to open the sharp?
When tested this pen yet?
I think you're the first.
Should we just give me a piece of paper just to make sure what at what level the ink is?
Yes.
It's a lot easier to do that way than ruin the guitar.
Exactly.
Okay, not bad.
Trump really a Sharpie connoisseur.
Okay.
Everybody, let's see.
Oh, that came out good.
Yeah, that looks nice.
Wow.
You never know.
These are hard to sign.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is a wartime president, the president of the United States
as the country is at war and we are entering or soon to enter double digits American
service member deaths.
deaths. Just be honest with me. Like, do you see this and you go, yeah, that's the, that's what
a president should be doing when the country is at war in an optional war. That's what the president
should be doing when the average family is increasingly struggling to just make it to the
end of the month and afford their their basic bills. Trump is just hanging out at Graceland
signing guitars. Trump asks, do you think I could have taken Elvis in a fight?
One that had the karate patch on it. Elvis had two eighth degree black belts and karate. One was in Kenfo and that's what this patch is for.
Was he really good? Actually, he was really good. He started practicing. Could I have taken him in a fight?
I don't know. You might. I think he would have been respectful enough to let you win. Yes, he probably would. But he and Bruce Lee really brought karate to the west.
Yeah, I've seen it. It's good. Bruce Lee was pretty good, right?
Mm-hmm.
You have any good time? Maybe.
Isn't this just so fun?
He's so charismatic.
This is just so nice.
Now, meanwhile, I will remind you that gas prices hit another high as Trump was doing this.
Now $3.97 per gallon up 45% from the middle of January.
Should Trump have maybe been working on that or almost quite little.
literally, anything else.
By the way, just a reminder, we are discounting our memberships down to the cost of a gallon
of gas.
You can use the coupon code, Trump gas on my website to get a vastly discounted membership.
We're doing a one week membership drive.
We're almost doing more to help Americans with affordability than Donald Trump is, who's
at Graceland.
Trump then asked another question about Grace Land and what he's doing.
there and it's all just extraordinarily pathetic.
It's a little bit different.
Yeah.
People make pilgrimages here from all around the world.
Would you imagine someday in the very distant future people making a similar pilgrimage
tomorrow?
Oh, my God.
Can you imagine a more pathetic question?
The, I don't know.
It's something I could never say.
You know, would it be terrible?
Oh, yes.
Oh, yes.
Headlines trump.
you know, whatever, you know, whatever.
That's a special place, too.
As you said, you know, in terms of people going to places,
these are big, successful places.
But this is, all I know is, you know,
I know that all my life I've heard about Graceland.
I've watched Elvis.
Surprisingly, you know, because I was around with Elvis
sort of in his semi-prime at least, right?
Yeah.
For some reason I didn't know him,
but I knew just about everybody else.
I knew all of them.
But I don't know why with Elvis.
He was a little bit locked into Las Vegas, right?
Yeah, he wasn't.
He really has a way with words.
All right, listen.
If there are magas out there willing to say, hey, you know what, I voted for Trump, I like
Trump, I like the tariffs, I like the Iran war, whatever, are any of you willing to just
acknowledge that this is completely pathetic and disgusting?
And what the hell is Trump doing at Graceland signing guitars when the average American has to choose
between do I go into debt for the unexpected expense or do I skip it?
And maybe that unexpected expense is a medication you didn't think you would need, but now you do.
Maybe the unexpected expense is you got a flat tire on your car.
By the way, I got a nail in a tire recently.
They fixed it for free.
They plugged that son.
I'm sorry, I'm getting off track here.
But true story, an unexpected expense could send you into debt.
And Trump burned 90K in fuel to go sign guitars at Mar-a-Lago.
Write to me if you're ready to just go, this is screwed up and he shouldn't be doing it.
I would respect you way more.
Being ready for a game means being ready for anything, like packing a spare stick.
I like to be prepared.
That's why I remember, 988 Canada's suicide crisis helpline.

kind of tough having to deal with these Mayo Brain co-hosts day in and day out and having to just explain
really, really simple things to them.
Dana Perino, former White House press secretary for George W. Bush, who now is a Fox News host,
she said, why don't Democrats just claim victory, allow a deal to go through and get the Save
America act passed and let Trump do whatever and just go, hey, we won, we did it, we reopened
the entire thing.
And Jessica Tarlov has to explain, what are you talking about, Dana?
Democrats, they've put forward seven bills to fund TSA and get people paid.
And we now have learned that it is Trump who said don't make deals with Democrats.
And you can see and feel the kind of palpable frustration from Jessica Tarloff.
I don't know how she does it.
Are gone.
Why wouldn't the Democrats just say, let's claim victory because it doesn't.
Instead of doing this to the TSA agents and the traveling public.
Why are they doing this to the TSA?
TSA agents.
Senate Democrats have put forward seven standalone bills to fund TSA, and there have been
10 bills that would have funded TSA, CSA, Coast Guard, and FEMA.
There was a discharge petition in the House the Democrats brought forward last week that
the Republicans refused to sign on to.
And saying that Donald Trump is the one who gave an off ram, John Thune went to him this weekend
and said, we have a deal on this.
I want this.
I saw Ted Cruz is enthusiastic about it.
and I know Ted Cruz loves to get an airport open
in case he has somewhere to go,
but they were offering him saying,
we can get ICE funding done through reconciliation.
We just need 51 votes for that.
We have the numbers.
We can reopen the airports the way that you need them to be.
We can fund FEMA, CISA, Coast Guard, et cetera.
And Donald Trump said, no, I want the Save America Act,
which you acknowledge last week, Dana, is not going to get passed.
John Thune says it's not going to get past.
And it's not, yeah, but that's not what Democrats are trying right now.
They're saying you want to fund it, just fund it.
There are bills on the floor to be able to do that.
Republicans are refusing to do it.
And the Save America Act is not a voter ID bill.
It is a citizenship bill.
The American public knows that if you said you can show any ID
when you show up to vote, people would go for that.
If you say that you need to register with your passport or your birth certificate,
that is not going to happen.
And I've said it before.
It's going to disadvantage Republican voters than Democratic voters,
and none of them are illegal in case you are going there.
The question, why don't Democrats just take the victory and say, hey, we got it back open.
Why aren't Democrats allowing this to happen?
That is a false premise.
It's sort of like, when did you stop beating your wife?
Well, if you weren't beating your wife, you've got to reframe the question and go the question's
premise is a problem.
Trump said no deals with Democrats.
And the missing kind of detail, which Trump never even acknowledges or addresses when he posts
on truth social about pass the Save America Act is that independent of trying to tie this to DHS or TSA
or ICE or anything, the Save America Act doesn't have the support to pass.
They don't have the votes.
Republicans don't have the votes regardless.
Even if there was a willingness to tie the things together, it just doesn't have the support.
And the false the falsest false premise here is that Democrats are causing TSA not to be funded.
If the issue is only TSA, Democrats have said, here's a bill that will fund TSA.
We can pass it. We can do it. And Jessica Tarlov breaks that false notion. She's not even arguing about
ideology, which I think is smart. She's just going, hey, these are the facts. Seven bills,
Republicans aren't going for it. Trump said no. Ten broader bills that would have done TSA,
Coast Guard, FEMA, and a couple other agencies that she mentioned. And we now have, we don't, we
looked at the clip at the top of the show. We have Senator John Kennedy or Republican saying,
we had a deal. Ted Cruz and I had a deal, said Kennedy. But Trump said no deals with Republicans.
Jessica Tarlov does something else that I think is phenomenal. She brings up the suspicious
timing of Trump's announcements about negotiations with Iran and stock trades and bond market
trades and she suspects the exact same thing. Anyone with two eyes, two ears and a brain would suspect,
which is it looks like people were tipped off and they figured out a way to make money. She's not using
the phrase insider trading, but I'm using the phrase insider trading. Putting this out there on
Fox News is great. Now, Grech Gutfeld just dismisses it and goes, oh, that's something Democrats would do.
Oh, okay, cool. Okay. But Jesse also stumbled upon
probably the whole point of this, which is that Donald Trump wanted to make sure that the stock market
and perhaps more importantly, the bond market was doing better. And if you remember back to Liberation
Day, it was the bond market that rattled him into pulling those first set of tariffs off.
And you even then said, oh, by Friday when the market closes, then maybe we'll just blow
Karg Island out. So if he's just manipulating the markets to be able to buy himself the leeway to do
this, and we should note as well that there are folks being investigated who made a lot of money
today. So I don't know if someone got tipped off that he was about to post on Truth Social at that time.
Only Democrats do that. Obviously somebody was tipped off.
Ha, ha, ha, whatever. You brought it up. I actually didn't bring it up.
You did. Roll back the tape. I didn't bring up whether it was a bi-part.
The difference between what you think, how much gelato Nancy Pelosi has and what Donald
Trump is doing with manipulating the market to this level is ridiculous.
triggering it was they have a defense mechanism up on Fox News with Jessica Tarlove. If she even so
much hints at corruption, insider trading, crime, whatever, you immediately just go, Democrats,
Democrats, only Democrats would do that. And of course, we know that it is not Democrats that would have
advance notice that Trump is about to post something that's going to spike the stock market.
So Gutfeld doesn't engage with the substance at all. He just goes, nope, somebody else would do that.
Democrats. Facts come in. Democrats, narrative overrides them. No attempt to reconcile what we know
has happened around Trump for a decade now. He's got his script and he's sticking to it. I,
I don't envy Jessica Tarlov's role on that show having to deal with these co-hosts does not seem fun.
She does it well, but it does not seem fun. Who wins a competition to kiss Trump?
Trump's ass. I believe everybody loses. I have video of Trump's acolytes, dilettantes, and suckups.
Unable to detach their lips from Trump's dairy air. And you know what's unbelievable.
Even being sucked up to isn't interesting enough for Trump to stay awake. There was a roundtable
in Memphis, Tennessee, themed as the make America safe again.
round table. They had a pile of firearms stacked up on the floor right before the event in front
of the stage. Not a joke. They had a pile of guns. And Trump as Pete Hegseth is just sucking and
sucking and sucking and sucking up to Trump. Trump can't even keep his eyes open. He fell asleep.
And the state level working hand and glove. It doesn't happen any other way. You see,
before President Trump, our nation was set on a perpetual course of decline. Our defense. Our defense,
Defense industrial base had been hollowed out.
He's out.
Military had lowered its standard prioritizing equity over merit and lethality.
And right here in cities like Memphis, our people were focused on enduring just what
seemed to be the status quo of rampant, vicious crime.
Well, they let their-
You cannot stay awake.
Cities burn to the ground, literally.
In the name of hallow humanitarianism, weak leaders.
And that's what it is.
It's weak leaders previously provided sanctity.
for hordes of dangerous illegal aliens who preyed on our most vulnerable.
Soft on crime, defund the police nonsense, tied the hands of our brave law enforcement heroes
while the bad guys ran wild.
And the most people in the state-
He just can't stay awake.
He can't stay awake even when he's being sucked up to.
Even being praised by Pete Heggseth is not enough to rouse him out of that soporific slumber.
He's jerking around, unable.
to stay awake. Look at this.
When we first started this just six months ago, that these were going to be the results.
There's more to go, but we're grateful for the work.
And Stephen, your commitment to us, Tennessee and truly are grateful for it.
And your commitment to President Trump's strategy, not just to make Memphis safe, not just
to make Tennessee safe, but to make all.
All right.
Anyway, the most nauseating part of this is that everybody is just trying to suck up to Trump.
If you think back to the Biden era, if you think back to the Obama era, yes, people praise
the presidents they work for after Obamacare was passed, Biden as VP, you did it.
Look, this is a big effing deal.
Great job.
But this is a level of sycophancy that should make anybody cringe.
Listen to Stephen Miller.
The work that President Trump is doing, not only in Memphis, not only in Washington, D.C.,
But all over the country, ultimately, it will save and is saving tens of thousands of American lives.
It is, I'll use that word again.
What President Trump has done on border security and public safety is a national miracle that will be studied,
not only for generations, but for centuries to come.
Thank you, President Trump.
Really nice job, Stephen.
Really nice job sucking up.
So cash, see if you can top that.
I don't know.
That's a tough one, Cash.
Definitely sounding culty and Trump recognizes that he's being glazed.
See if you can do better than that, Cash.
And you know what?
When Trump turned to Cash Patel, I think Cash Patel did kind of try to top it.
So Cash, see if you can top that.
I don't know.
That's a tough one, Cash.
That's tough.
You know, Mr. President, as I look around this venue, you know, you know, Mr. President, as I look around
This venue, I see and I'm reminded again why we have the greatest warriors on God's green
earth, the men and women serving in uniform, the men and women.
Let me guess it's because of something Trump did.
Serving and wearing the badge and law enforcement, our police, our sheriffs around the state
of Tennessee.
I'm reminded that Americans exist to protect this country day in and day out and they've done
it like we've done it here.
But what we didn't have was you.
We didn't have a command of back the blue, who resourced the blue, who funded the military,
who did whatever it takes to safeguard every single life.
And here in Memphis, Tennessee, you have put on a show for the world.
You have allowed us to go out there and capture gangbangers, rapists, murderers, drug dealers
at record historic levels.
All right.
So you get the point.
Cash is doing the thing.
Meanwhile, this was a very interesting development.
Trump sort of starts to shift the blame and the decision making responsibility for the
Iran war to Pete Hegsa.
And this is a very interesting development because if it all comes crashing down, I believe
Trump is setting himself up for an escape hatch where he goes, listen, at the end of the day, this
was kind of Pete Hegseth.
And then unfortunately, I came, I called Pete, I called General Kane, I called, I called
I called them a lot of our great people.
We have great people and I said, let's talk.
We got a problem in the Middle East.
We have a country known as Iran that for 47 years has been just a purveyor of terror.
Terror.
They're very close to having a nuclear weapon.
We can keep going and get that.
50,000 up to 55 and 60 is no end.
Or we can take a stop and make a little journey into the Middle East and eliminate a big problem.
And Pete, I think you were the first one to speak up.
And you said, let's do it.
Because you can't let them have it.
It was Pete's idea.
Pete said, let's do it.
Let's do it.
And then Trump, unfortunately for himself, distracted by beautiful young women.
in the White House. I don't know that this is what I would be jumping up and down to admit right
now if I were him. We have people working in the White House, young women. They walk. I would say
normally beautiful young women ever since I got elected. I don't like to say that because usually
when you say a beautiful woman, isn't she beautiful? That's the end of your political career. So I never
say that. Never, never, never. And indeed, he said it. And then remember, Trump very demure, very cute
C very respectful, wrapping up as our wartime president, an event about safety and event with
a pile of guns stacked up, wrapping it up by doing the double jerk fist pump while YMCA plays.
You really get the sense that Trump's mood is somber and understands the gravity of what
the country is facing.
at war, gas prices up 45%, prices up on everything thanks to his tariffs. And there is no greater
way to show that respect for his fellow Americans than to loudly play YMCA and pump his fists.
We are going to delve more deeply into what's happening in our airports today. And the reality
that ICE's presence is not only speeding up security, it may even be slowing it down.
We have a new secretary of Homeland Security.
His name is what Mark Wayne Mullen.
Maybe a few too many first names and not quite enough experience would be my assessment.
And finally, after spending years saying vote by mail is terrible, Donald Trump has indeed
voted by mail.
And we will talk about the real security of vote by mail on today's bonus show.
