We are now less than one week away from real NBA games that we care about being on our screens.
Five days from now, at 2 p.m. Central Standard Time.
We'll be watching NBA basketball, which is a strange sentence to say because 2 p.m. is an outlandish time for the first game of the season.
Adam, you're 0 for one to start the year.
Strange decisions left and right.
And with that being said, we're going to make some strange decisions today as well.
We're going to die on some hills that we maybe believe in, maybe we don't.
As you guys see about a title, we're here to give you one hot take.
for every NBA team heading into this season.
We've been doing our season preview
over the last few weeks.
On Monday, we'll do our official predictions,
standings, awards, the like.
Today, we go through every team
and give you one hot take
that we think applies
to a specific part of this team.
Let's do it, man.
I'm very proud of what I cooked up.
Again, I'm asking on everything.
Fully believe it.
It's not even a hot take.
It's just real.
Yeah.
Speaking truth, gospel, you know.
Okay, so if he's wrong,
tomatoes, bricks.
His address will be pinned in the comment.
Don't even throw tomatoes.
Throw like potatoes.
Why?
More likely to break a window?
Yeah.
Like if you want to give me
like a real punishment
though potatoes is hard as fuck.
Yeah.
Well, that's why I say
they just go straight to bricks.
Like why I play any half measures?
I don't want to.
Never mind.
To cross the bear, not mine.
Anyways,
residential music, please.
Please.
Do you need your music?
Let's talk about some hot takes.
We're about the water.
Listen for.
Mix him for it's all.
It's up.
At big man,
10 peace bucket.
Damn.
Jesus Christ.
Holy nuggets.
I could cry.
Brown eaters rejoice.
All right.
You guys know how this works.
All three of us have 10 teams to go through the entire league.
Donovan, who is your first hot take you want to start with today?
What do you feel like is a good way to kick off this episode and get people feeling the energy you're providing today?
All right, let's start with the Miami Heat.
Janus is winning MVP.
Oh, okay.
That definitely is a hot take.
I feel like you've been pretty not like critical of Janus,
but I don't feel like you've been a Janus guy.
So I'm a little surprised.
Haven't.
The more and more that I look at the Miami Heat this offseason,
it's hard to think that they just aren't also going to be a wins machine.
and everything that we talk about with some of the other teams like the Celtics, the Knicks,
about just having all of this really good infrastructure.
And you know that even in this new landscape where everybody's trying every single night,
they're still going to be the ones that are going to rise above everybody else.
That is the Miami Heat.
And at least in the regular season, Janus has been there.
And when he's on the floor, regardless of who's around them, those teams are good.
and those teams play well.
Now, can they, like with the Bucks last year,
can they sustain the 10 minutes or the 15 minutes a night
that he's not playing?
I don't know, probably not.
That's going to be a different situation.
And so I think that Janus being back in a defensive situation
that is going to be best for him where Bam is holding it down,
you can have Janus as the weak side shot blocker,
have him as a hub defender.
You are going to be in a situation where you can get the best version of him
from there. From a creation standpoint, you're going to need Janus to keep doing the things that
he's done over the last couple years as he's expanded his game there.
Janus can score anywhere from 30 to 33 fairly easily in a 33, 32 minute game. And then as a rebounder
and as a wins machine, I think all of those things coming together lines up for Janus to
restate himself back into the conversation of best play in the world, top three, all
of that and have an MVP type season.
I don't think it's a bad take at all.
Obviously, people were quite pessimistic about the Miami Heat.
Every time we come up here and say they can be one of those best teams in the conference,
still that that's in the cards for them despite their flaws,
I feel it was a sentiment that a lot of people think they might, like, suck, like, be, like,
play in and, like, straight up be a disaster because the shooting of ball handling isn't good enough.
And we made it clear we don't think they're going to suck.
We don't think that's going to be the case.
But there is some credence to those criticisms.
The roster is far from perfect and has legitimate flaws that you could tell me they'll
stop them from reaching great heights in the playoffs and they flame out.
But all of that is conducive to Janus having to get fucking buckets and having to make up for the lack
of ball handlers and beat that point guard himself. So I think the flaws might make this more
possible.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I like what you said specifically.
Like, yo, Yonis is a point guard these days, bro.
Whenever we've seen him at his best, whenever we see him win the championship, whenever we've seen
him with Damien Lillard, like all signs point to just put the ball on his hands.
He doesn't necessarily do well or thrive overly with the traditional.
additional guy who brings the ball down the court like something like de muller of course it's nice to
have a chris middleton and i'm sure they'll figure that shit out as the season goes on whether it be
through trades or whatever it might be when it comes to just like being a winds machine which is what
air exposure in my mind is known for when it comes to getting it out the mud having the Miami heat two years
ago their office in the mud they were like ranked 20 first in the league raising the ceiling by pretty
much doing nothing to their roster offensively raising tall the way being
in like a top 13 offense based off of just having no screens,
just everyone getting their buckets, ISO play.
That's impressive.
And I think having one of the more impressive players in NBA history
who has, again, something to like really prove
and reestablish himself in the NBA landscape,
I feel like this is very valid.
Yeah, and I've been, especially like throughout the whole Janus trade
saga throughout the initial part of the offseason,
like, you know, Janice, he's getting up there.
He's obviously had injuries going into the playoffs.
How much can you trust him?
There still is a level of respect that you have to give Janus as a player and as somebody who can who can elevate the people around him.
And I've been buying a lot more into that recently.
And so yeah, I think that the heat are going to be really, really good this year.
And I think that Janus obviously is going to be the driving force of that.
So, yeah, that's MVP right there.
Yeah, last year, Janus got hurt mid through the season, obviously.
He played 36 games total.
before he got injured in his first 16 games
he was averaging 30.6 points
6.4 assists 10.7 rebounds
damn near is 67%
true shooting shooting 43%
from 3 which I'm sure that part was unsustainable
and 65% from 2
I think it's easy to forget because the season got bogged down
by disaster and trade talks that
the start of last year we were talking about wow
Janus looks the best he's ever looked
offensively he looks so polished
we were talking about the fact that you know he
himself says I don't dunk like I used to I'm not quite
the athlete I once was but it's okay
because the polish in which he plays with now,
the command of the offense he plays with.
Remember, they had that start to the season last year
where we were like, wow, maybe they'll be sneaky good.
They got the spacing and Ryan Rollins.
They were winning games for a week or two
because he was so goddamn dominant.
And I know the injuries have kind of like distracted us from that.
If he's healthy and gets back to that level,
I won't be shocked at all.
And that could easily, with a better environment around him
for sustainability, lead to an MVP.
Yeah.
Yeah, I agree.
I agree.
What are the odds right now?
He's obviously not the favorite.
Did you check before this?
The odds, so he wasn't, he wasn't in the, in the top four, because the top four is,
I mean, that's crazy to me that he's on the top.
So, I mean, the top four is Wembechay, Luca Yokic.
And so it's those four and then clear gap and then is Janus right there at five.
Okay.
And, hmm.
So I'm guessing the pricing and the fact that like they don't believe the team will be good enough.
Because like he'd probably, realistically, they're going to have to be like the one or two seed to happen.
And do you think that part is possible?
I do.
Okay.
Then here you go.
Put your money done.
I do think it's possible.
Also, all the other guys, all the other guys are in the West.
And so when you're talking about, like, seating and stuff,
only two of those guys are going to be, you know,
and who knows, some other team might come out of here.
But all of the other candidates are going to be fighting with each other for a one seed.
Whereas Janus is, at least for other MVP candidates at the very, very top of the list,
it's really just him in the East.
Like Brunson is not priced at high.
Tidum is not priced at high.
the next guy after Janus's aunt.
So there's a little bit more wiggle room from that perspective for Janus to get up there
and to have something in his case that some of the other guys don't.
I will say this.
I think out of all the MVP candidates, I started maybe Wembe, whatever, because he's
on his own legendary trajectory.
He has like the best narrative right now going from.
He just got traded after this disgusting saga with the Mockybugs feels like forever,
but it lasts like two years.
He is coming off of pretty much doing absolutely nothing in the postseason.
And he's been like lost in the midst of all this new generational talent that's coming in.
Shea winning multiple MVP's.
Yolka's doing this thing as well.
Wembe having like heavy MVP consideration last year and taking a team all the way to the finals.
Lucas there as well.
Like there's so much going on.
And I feel like I've never seen someone of Yonis's talent or caliber switch teams.
on a whole new position, a superstar like this, just being moved and no one caring at all.
And everyone's really, yeah, okay, you know, it's Miami Heat, whatever.
I do feel like people are starting to remember that he joined the Heat.
It's just like this offseason was so crazy, so many things happened.
But now that we're circling back on the actual basketball talk, I am getting the sense of like,
the community's just higher on the Heat again.
That's the sense I got, I got the sense of people think these guys suck.
Yeah.
I feel like people care about it.
You're still on subject's Twitter that still has like scared,
just like scared minds out of the heat.
Oh, I'm not.
You say my time lines, pussy?
Let's take in the Eastern Conference.
My first hot take.
I have the Detroit Pistons.
Okay.
This, like, shouldn't be a hot take, but it is
because of the nature of the way convos have evolved over the summer.
I think the 2027 Pistons will be a better team than 2026 Pistons.
Hot take.
I think the youngest one seed we've seen in a long time,
size of thunder,
similar to thunder and age,
we'll get better in their second year as a great team.
What does that mean to you?
Because obviously like 60 wins and 60 wins.
Yeah, they're not winning 60 games,
but that's also because it's something we talked about all offseason.
The lottery odds changing.
The NBA is going to be drastically different
as far as how the regular season unfolds for this season.
I think almost everybody's win total will be down
because the tanking teams have no incentive to tank now.
So it won't be regular season wins thing.
It'll be a better playoff team.
It'll probably be hard to have a better net rating
because that also applies to the playing worst competition.
But whatever underlying metrics you can look at that are outside win totals,
I think they'll be a better team,
namely because I think they'll be better offense this year.
I think I like the idea of John Collins replacing Tobias Harris.
I can see if maybe they do end up missing,
especially in the playoffs, that quick trigger three,
I say quick trigger.
It's not like Tobias is the quickest trigger in the world.
But the ability to be a quick catch and shoot guy,
that's not John Collins, even though he does shoot 40% from three.
I think their size is it going to be absolutely overwhelming this year
with John Collins' playing ex-adurance.
it's only one preseason game.
Dern looked amazing in their last game
against the Timberwolves
in which they just completely punked the Timberwolves.
And, you know, it is a preseason.
Everyone's playing their starters.
Yeah, it's the last preseason game, I think,
for everybody's seasons.
I think they're trying a little bit.
Dern looked like a guy who improved over the summer,
which I know was a shocker because everyone just wrote him off.
But it looked like he was in the lab trying to improve
to not allow himself to be so one-dimensional
like he was in the playoffs.
They led him to fail.
His ball handling looked better.
His mid-range jumpers look sharper.
His mobility looked very good.
look like he was in a little better physical shape.
I just feel like it's a hot take to people
to say that this young team will improve enough
to make up for what they've lost
and make up to keep up with the East.
I think there'll be a top three seed again.
Ooh, top three seed.
I can't write that off completely
because I think they are fantastic.
They are young.
And I have no real reason to ding them down.
If I want to hate a little bit,
maybe it's just because they don't have, again,
like they don't have that pull-up score
other than like Cade.
Yeah.
And that's like kind of awkward still.
But I think their strengths
outside of that are still absurd.
I think the ball movement is absurd.
I think going back to Jayland Dern and seeing what he got better at.
It seems like it's processing is a lot better too,
which moves mountains for someone like me.
And I can see them being a top of seed.
Yeah, I'm going to pick the music.
I haven't finalizing rankings that we'll do on Monday.
I'm going to put them either second or third.
And like if they get the one seat again,
I won't be shocked.
Like the east did get better.
So I'm not here to say that the narrative is like completely unfounded.
Everybody around them got better.
And that is a type of thing that you can see bringing somebody down to earth.
Plus with the lottery odds, like they're going to win less games than 60.
So that'll add some validation to the claim.
But again, I think everybody will win less games.
So I do so think they'll be among the best regular season teams at least.
So I think they'll kind of maintain what they did in the regular season.
I don't think as far as that goes, Tobias Harris and what his shooting brought was like essential to the formula to win in the regular season.
We know how they did it with amazing defense, with size, winning the possession battle,
all that stuff.
I think they can still do that.
And come playoff time, I think there'll be a more equipped team to win a first round
series because of the improvements from the young guys that they make over time.
Plus the addition, you know, Isaiah Joe has more spacing, whatever that does in the playoffs.
Hopefully, Abuka, Akori can be ready come playoff time so they're not reliant on
Dennis Jenkins entirely as a second ball handler who was, I think, if I remember correctly,
the least efficient self-created score in the NBA last year.
I didn't even know that.
He was.
He was, as there's self-created shots, extremely inefficient.
And again, Corey is a 19-year-a rookie, so I don't know if he would be ready to playoff time.
Yeah.
If he is for the second half of the season, that can make a big difference.
And yeah, I'm going to bet on the internal development of Assar and Jalen Duren specifically.
Yeah.
Okay.
That's a bet.
I like that.
That's big.
I mean, you said you wouldn't be shocked if they got, if they got the one seed, I'd be floored.
How can we floored though?
I know you don't have predicted it.
You can not be shocked if they fall off too.
But, like, how could it be shocking if there's still what they were last year?
I think still what they were is in terms of like everybody else,
getting better, adding other pieces, and them kind of staying in between.
I think for them, the additions that they had felt like you're just, you're just swapping
other pieces, right?
We're still not adding or, yeah, going into the season, you're not adding things to
address the problem.
And they've moved this way in the past, and they have very much, like, shown the entire
league. We believe in our guys. A lot of times, our answer is just going to be continuity and
internal growth. And we're going to bet on that every single time. I'm a little worried about that
just because the person that you need that from the most is ASAR because you gave ASAR,
this big contract this off season, prioritized him over Durham. And he's the one with the athleticism,
with the quick twitch, with the potential two-way ability that could really take your team to the
next level. And anytime we're talking about, you know, just these guys who are crazy defenders
making a serious offensive leap because it's one thing to make a leap as a shooter. It's another
thing for them to say, hey, go create stuff now. And that's a very, very big ask for them. And
that's why I get hung up where I think that they could have a little bit more pitfalls and a little bit
more growing pains there as opposed to, you know, just saying, oh, we need you to shoot 37% from
three this year. For sure. And I think you're outlying why I'm not going to say they're going to
win the finals or make the finals or something like that. I think those are the same playoff issues we had
all season last year when we acknowledge what they're doing is amazing, but we didn't believe
in them to make a serious run as far as you would normally expect for a one seed because of all
that. And I think that can still be true. I think they can be marginally better in the playoffs because
those improvements and like win a first on series. But I chose my words carefully and didn't say
they're going to be the conference finals because I agree with you. But I also will say they
could just do that deadline move now this year that we want them to do last year.
Maybe they gave it time and they'll decide now.
Even if they don't do that,
I don't think any of that stops their regular season formula that they showed last year
from succeeding again.
Like,
I think both things can be true,
that they can be playoff rods again because they still overly believe in their young guys too much,
but the young guys still kind of understand how to win regularly season games
and the foundation we built upon is,
you know what,
like more sustainable than a jump shooting team in some ways,
if we find ways to win without shooting,
which we know can be a big variability night to night,
if we just say we suck a shooting we're going to win in other ways
maybe that's more consistent than other teams.
Yeah, I can definitely understand.
I feel like what leaves need to believe that they'd,
I'd be quicker to believe they finish
as one of the top three seeds in the West or in the East
versus like being a playing team
or even at worst case scenario,
being like a six or seven seat or whatever it is.
Simple because like some of that just doesn't go away in any basis
whether being the playoffs or regular season,
which this is a regular season convos that they just play fucking hard.
these are a bunch of paint paint bullying slasters bro and when it comes to their defensive rebound
the rebounding in general on both sides of the floor when it comes to their ability to get to the rim
when it comes to their ability to be in your jersey that doesn't go anywhere and that type of stuff
just carries a long way and it's exhausting to deal with and i don't know there's not that many teams
right now in the league or equipped to deal with those things on a night-to-night basis so
that's fair i can understand that's a good hot take i think my
first hot take we can stay in that division um let's i have the indiana pacers okay i think that this is
going to be a special special year for them i'll take is they're going to be the two seed in the eastern
conference and tary's haliburton is going to have MVP buzz top three MVP bus specifically i think the
storyline is going to be tremendous i think he's going to put up 20 in 10 or some some crazy like that or
whatever wildly effective i think this roster is like i'm not going to say
flawless from head to toe, but we've seen this like literally before two years ago.
And every single player on this roster has done nothing but get better.
Of course, and I will say this.
I think that they're going to have some former young player,
whether it rather be Jaros Walker or maybe the gunned, the new guy, the new Ruffer we see into this,
into this mechanism.
Kelly Ubra is going to make a major impact.
There's just so much going on in this team.
and I feel like Tyrus Halliborne's going to really like big up his case.
Maybe they just say fucking two seed.
They're going to be one seed.
How about that?
Damn.
Yeah.
Is there a backup center of Larry Danis Jr.?
It's between him and Jay Huff.
Okay, I like J. Huff more at this point.
Okay.
I think the only problem I see with them is I think T.J. McConnell might be washed.
Didn't look quite as good last year.
So I'm on lookout for that.
I hope he has another year in a better offensive environment that you can still contribute.
I'm on lookout for a wash, T.J. McConnell.
We'll see how that goes.
And I don't know if I think Kelly Uberr Jr. is all that great.
So that part, like the bench depth doesn't like move me, move me.
I like Jaris Walker.
Obie Topping, cool, if Jay Huffet's their back a big, Ben Sheper.
Like, there's some names there.
I don't know if the bench is an overt strength of me that I feel like it would need to be
for maybe the one seed.
But I'm with you in essence that Halliburton could have that level of year that
gets into that conversation.
They can be a top three, four seed.
One's hard for me to get to unless it makes some bench improvements that I don't foresee
coming, maybe a leap from one of the young guys or in addition.
But I'm definitely with you in essence.
Yeah, that's very fair.
You bring up valid points when it comes to Tidge McConnell, not necessarily.
He might not have it this year, but who knows at this point in time?
That's very fair to say.
I think what does scare me a little bit more is that their backup center situations.
It's kind of dicey.
But I think that it almost wouldn't matter in this case and sense because having Zubach
who just bends and changes your offense and defense to a certain degree,
assuming Zubach is the same Zubach that I've seen like two years ago,
playing like legit competitive basketball instead of whatever the fuck was going on for the first
half of the whippers season last year.
I think the impact's going to be wild.
It's going to be so like easy for someone like Tyree's Halliburn.
It's going to open out the floor in an inverted way for everyone else on this team.
Like Aaron Needsmith, that's my shoot 45% of a three point line this year, bro.
Okay.
The shooter's going to be have so much more space to work with now.
What was Dubot's injury he dealt with last year?
I forget.
he played 43 games
or 40,
a total,
I forget what he dealt with.
Was it like,
oh,
I'm a patient now
and we're tanking?
I'm sick.
Yeah.
I can't remember exactly
what happened.
Let me see what.
But I was going to say
before that he's been
relatively healthy,
which is a nice boon
for the fact that
they don't have a great backup center
before last year
when he got the tankitis,
he's pretty healthy.
So that's helpful.
This is nice that
three takes in the
he had a fractured rib.
The top two guys in MVP were like,
yeah,
go to his side.
Yeah.
I don't know if I can get behind the ceiling of this take
just because it's hard to break MVP convos
when Don mentioned the four guys
are ahead of Janus.
But again, if Halliburton has an MVP quality year
that results in him probably not winning it
because we have aliens in a league
but he etches himself in the top 10
once again very clearly
and the team is very good
because of it won't be shocked at all.
He'll get like a Tatum type MVP.
He ain't know one essence.
But he's gonna get like cool low four.
Solid.
Crazy straight.
Yeah, he gets the, he's
owed a place on my ballot.
Yeah.
Yeah. Love that.
All right, Donovan, who's next?
Honestly, listen,
let's go with the Sacramento Kings.
Oh, let's zag.
My favorite sentence I've ever heard.
Yeah. I'm on board with you now.
Darius A Cuff is going to win
Rookie of the Year.
Okay.
Tell me what.
He's the pick. He is the guy.
I haven't, I, I've tried
very hard to not get caught up
into a lot of preseason stuff.
But however, some of the
propaganda that has reached my timeline and some of the stuff that I am buying into is the combination
of Subonis and Akh.
Yes.
And the way that they're going to play off of each other, I think is going to be very,
very good.
We talked last week about how it was different with Deer and Fox playing with Wembe and the
screens that Wembe sets as opposed to Sabonis.
And now that Aikov is on the opposite side of that, where he's going to have, he's going to
have good screens.
He's going to have a big playing at the top.
key at different areas that can be a passing hub for him, he's going to have opportunities to
score on ball, to score off ball.
Probably in the middle of the season two, Zach Levine might be out of here.
And there's going to throw even more on A Cuff's plate as a score.
I just think that he is super electric.
And we've seen him at Arkansas carry an offense, have everybody around him.
and this situation is kind of, it's kind of similar.
So I, I think that between him, like DeBanza,
we're still trying to figure out if he's even, you know,
going to have the opportunity to really shine like that
because you have trade, because you have AD Boozer.
You know, we'll see, we'll see how the, how the Grizzlies go.
Peterson.
I don't like the Jazz still have a lot of guys.
I think Akov is going to have the one of the better combinations of just
the path. Yeah, of just opportunity and path.
Yeah, that makes total sense.
He's certainly in the top three candidates, right?
Like at the very minimum, I think everyone can like understand the situation he's in
is conducive to numbers at the very least.
And we know how that gets you into the convoy unit of your team sucks because
most years, maybe the draft class is different because we have like potentially four
superstars in it.
But most years, there's somebody in the convoy that puts up bad, good numbers on a
bad team. There's never like three to four candidates. They're just killing it on good teams.
So yeah, it would be shocking if he's not in the race. And that enough, that being in the race
enough gets it to where you're a good pick to win it. Yeah. It's kind of a similar situation with,
with Janus in terms of the odds. Like they have four, the four guys who went at the top are
are right there. And then it's a clear sizable gap and then A cup. And so I think him jumping
into the top four jumping into that conversation is going to be something that is somewhat
unexpected for a lot of people.
I feel like we're not giving takes
they're particularly hot right now.
So, my next ticket
for Los Angeles Lakers.
By the end of this season,
Austin Rees is considered
the clear cut second best shooting guard
in the league.
By the end of the 2027 season.
Okay.
I don't know exactly who he passed up.
Who's number one?
But Austin Rees will be second.
Yeah, I've been honest.
I said low key, man.
However we go.
I ain't a lie.
That means he's better than Donovan Mitchell.
I never said that.
I didn't say that.
I didn't say that.
I'm closing my eyes.
I'm not looking at the rest of the list.
you put whoever you want at one,
awesome reads will be two.
He's doing it.
He's doing it again.
Awesome Rees will be two.
You're standing on someone
without actually standing on it.
No, I'm standing exactly on what I'm saying
I'm standing on.
Awesome news will be two.
Who are you standing under now?
I can give you a whole top five.
I said awesome rules will be two.
Your list can be different.
Your list can be different.
Awesome reviews better be two.
I mean, obviously, it's probably
damaged because I don't think ants falling off.
But what does the Austin News have to do for you
in order to be number two?
I think I'm buying an extremely heavy
to Austin Ruse.
stock, which is, you know, no surprise given what I've said in the past and who my favorite
team is. I think one, J.J. Reddick has said everything that needs to be said for me to believe in
the coach speak element of it. They're going to stagger Luke and Reeves a lot, which, you know,
that means more opportunities for Reeves to be the lone ball handler on this team, since the only
other ball handler besides those two is Colin Sexton. So I think we can get extremely high
usage from Austin Reeves. I think what we saw in the first half of last year before
LeBron James came back and before Austin Reeves got hurt, when it was those two, you
as a nucleus of the offense,
he was averaging 28 points per game
on extreme efficiency.
To some extent,
I'm sure that's unsustainable
because that's just a big number.
I don't think is that unsustainable.
I think his passing has leveled up
in the preseason,
and I think that's something you can kind of
see as real
with what you've seen the preseason.
I don't think it's fake
just because it's preseason basketball
that he's throwing insane skip passes
and clearly watching
Lukash's film and learning from his guy.
I think that's real.
I think what we saw last year
is he's one of the best driving guards
in the league.
That's 100% real,
and he's added weight and strength this year
to make up for the fact that he's had
been getting injured a lot.
He's adding on to his bite
to hope he can sustain that workload over time.
I think this is all kind of culminating
in the improvements he's making
and the needs of the team
to what I think he will average
like 26 and a half
and like five assists,
like something like meaningful.
Yeah.
And I think Luke is awesome put up dumb numbers
because there's a world where
if Quinn Grimes misses any time,
they're going to start like Matisse,
Zaire, and Walker
and have three defenders
that don't create next to those two.
It's going to be like vintage 2020 basketball
where it's like two star ball handlers doing everything.
And that's not necessarily a good formula to win
deep in the playoffs.
So this isn't tying in with me saying this team will be amazing.
But I think it will set itself up well,
set itself up well for Austin Reeves to go insane
and build his reputation.
Vintage 2020 basketball.
You know, the league was very different back then.
Oh, yeah, that is a tough sentence.
Six years ago, it was a long time, bro.
The league changed.
Harder to us played together.
Like, you can just have two ballhandlers
and do everything.
Nowadays, you need your fourth and fifth option
to be able to create a little bit
because defense is so smart
the team won't be a well-equip for that.
If this is all the case,
they're probably going to get blitz
by the Thunder in the playoffs.
But Austin Rees,
all NBA team,
potential.
Okay.
I don't know.
They'll probably win no games have two,
but like that level of play,
potential.
Okay, okay.
We're dealing with a legit star,
star, I think.
I can do a lot of hot takes
with potential.
Yeah,
that was my hot take.
It was the second best shooting guy.
I think, yeah,
like we're obviously,
obviously, obviously,
obviously, I think we'll be an all-star.
The core of this take,
obviously,
if Don Mitchell is still great, then Donovan Mitchell is still better than him and Austin
Richard, whatever.
But the crux of this is I think that he'll enter those type of combos.
And I think he'll be a solidified All-Star, solidified like top 20 player that people view
as more than just like the cute Lakers guy that came up and all of a sudden he's a second option.
Like this is one of those type of players that we see amongst the elite of the league.
Okay.
Better than book.
Okay.
Yeah, look it that way, right?
Because obviously I said second to make it a hot take.
I think there is obviously a world with Demitcher still better.
Better than book.
I'll go there.
That I do think he'll be better than book by the end of the year.
Okay, okay, okay, I like that
I like that.
DeMitch, you're in sight.
The target's on your back, we're coming.
You know, low-key, if Austin Reeves did have a partner like
Evan Mobley, Evan Mobley would be better.
So because he's just way more of a willing passer,
and I think he would know how to empower him way more
than someone like Donald Mitchell does.
I do agree with that.
Someone not start those conversations right now.
Yeah, I think it's a different combo.
I don't necessarily make him better than DeMitch,
but I do think he'd be a better teammate for Evan Mobley.
Yeah.
I think that's definitely true.
I just like guys to make other people,
better. I think Reeves can play point guard for a team.
Yeah. I don't think he's, I think he's
a true, true combo guard. Do you know who I
think will not play point guard
for a team?
10 to season.
Jamal Murray, because he's being traded.
Oh, that's my hot take. Yep,
that's my hot take for the Devereign Nuggets. We're staying
in the Western Conference. I feel
like, yeah, there's so many
teams that are competent in the West
and through all
of the things that the Devere Ruggins has been going through,
through all the changes and the different variations of four matches the team that we've seen
them like windle away from dundle away from the 2020-2020 championship team this is the worst
version of nuggets that I see in on paper this is the worst version of niccolioka's defense that we've
seen in a while and I think that they have no more they have no more counters they have no
more picks to really upfront and want to give away necessarily because they're somewhat
valuable these days. And I think their pivot will be someone like Zamorri. And specifically,
I think there's going to be a lot of teams up for grabs who would be interested in that,
specifically because they have other interesting parts who, you know, could be, you know,
there's not heavy investments. And specifically, I think Jamal Murray might be in Atlanta Hawk.
Whoa. Okay. Are you just like getting on your team?
No, not really.
Just speaking to do existence?
I'm just having interesting thoughts.
You are.
And I'm like, you know, if, if.
Rose Pondon.
If Jamal Murray,
if Jamal Murray is up for grabs,
there's a couple of teams who would be interested in his services.
You know,
he's a,
he's a all-star.
He's one of the better half-court creators and all that.
He can give you a tweet on any given night,
except for the playoffs for the most part,
if DeH McDaniel is there.
But in the Eastern Conference,
he's not there.
And I think if you're,
if you're a team Mike,
Atlanta Hawks who were somewhat middle and you're just trying to like stay afloat.
Someone like Jamal Murray, I'm not going to say I wouldn't want to have him on my team
because he seems like an asset that could be additive compared to someone like Nikke Alexander Walker.
If these guys wanted to have whatever like combination of good solid role players
so they can give themselves more flexibility and optionality compared to just tying
themselves down for Jamal and Marie with his big contract for the next three years or whatever.
I think it will be a good move for them.
It might.
So I think it'll be,
it could be a good move for them.
I can't see them doing this.
You tell me on the nuggets?
Yeah.
I just,
I just can't see it.
I think,
I think that they're going to give themselves
one more,
one more run and try and see if Aaron Gordon,
like if anybody is going to try it and get flipped,
it's probably going to be Aaron Gordon.
And at least,
at least in season.
I can see,
I can see,
I can see Jamal being traded after the season,
especially if things,
collapse the same way that they did last year,
it's just tough to
kind of reinvent your team.
I don't know who else would be
on the opposite side of that.
I think there's a lot of people
that could be the opposite side of
of the Jemal Murray trade.
That's the part I think about the least
just because he fits on so many teams.
People are always needy for an authorible creator.
We just talk about the pistons.
Well, the money situation wouldn't work with them.
So let me not say that.
But there would be a team out there
that it makes sense with.
I think the only way this happens
is if Aaron Gordon gets hurt.
so where he can't get traded
because he's hurt again.
Like he has been in the past couple years
and his value is diminished
because nobody believes
he can say healthy anymore
because that was another year of that.
And I think if Aaron Gordon gets hurt,
the team will be in disaster mode
as far as what disaster looks like for the nuggets.
I'm not saying they're going to win no games,
but like I think if he misses a chunk of the season
that's a play and level team potentially
or like six seed,
which for a team that wins a lot of regular season
in games usually because Yokic is just excellence.
That would be a pretty big deal
for them to plummet like that
and be looking at the seven seed
without Aaron Gordon.
Maybe that can facilitate some panic moves where you say we've got to change his team entirely
and that can lead to Jamal Murray in the logical next step.
But I'm saying that like it's unlikely.
It's pretty easy to bail in Aaron Gordon getting hurt these days.
So maybe you're right.
Yeah, I agree.
I think realistically speaking, since he does make so much money, he makes like $50 million this season.
His contract ends in 2018, 2008 season.
And it's at $57 million.
It's a lot of money to necessitate during the middle of the season.
We typically don't see those type of moves.
So he may be right.
Maybe like an offseason type of thing.
But we are like at the cusp of a whole entire retooling of the Devranagh.
Because they don't have that many guys who are inspiring on a contract other than of course,
I'm assuming he's going to stay there because why the fuck would he leave?
He just seems like the type of guy I want to be there forever.
He said so himself for like a month ago.
Yeah, exactly.
But other than that, again, it's just tomorrow, Mary, Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun, bro.
This team is just due for retooling.
So to your point, whether it be deadline, next off season, whatever, your point is this might be the last,
your hot take is this is the last season
that Jamal Murray plays with Nicole Yolkich
Fair enough. Donovan, who's next?
The Oklahoma City Thunder
It was very hard
to figure out a true hot take
because I feel like they're at the top
But I do think
I think they can still push for 70 wins
Even with the new rules
where tanked teams don't tank
Yeah. Okay
I think they think they can
I think that they are as
built for the regular season as anybody
and they've shown that they can win games
without their stars. They've shown that they can
compete with, without obviously everybody
that their defense carries, it travels.
Yes, Lou Dort is gone.
Yes, Aaron Wiggins is gone. I say Joe's gone.
All of these, you know, miscellaneous wings
that Thunder fans have been falling in and out of love with
for the last year and a half or there.
But Kason Wallace is there and he needs, you know, he's kind of in line, not to take a crazy, crazy leap, but obviously to get better.
You have AJ Mitchell who took a leap last year, who could do the same thing this year.
I think you have all of these pieces, a healthy J. Dub season.
All of these things line up for the thunder to just keep being the thunder and to keep pushing, you know, the limits of, honestly, what's, you know, what's possible.
Yo, if this is a day, myrish, it is real.
This can get spooky.
Yeah. If a day Maris is good as he looks in the preseason
And he can be a rookie big that has the impact of a Derek lively
And what he had to the 2024 Mavericks being very good being a top 15 center in the league right away
Now that's a high bar where Derek Lively was like
Impressively competent for a rookie you don't see that a lot big sometimes take some time to get up to speed defensively
And DeLuca Stimulus, etc, etc, etc. If Mara can be anything close to that
The center rotation this team has was already a cheat code having hard and slay and chat out there at all
all times.
Now it's going to be
like the strongest strength
in the league.
That's crazy.
That's assuming Thomas Sorbara
is chop liver.
If he can play and you have
four bigs that good
and you have 48 minutes,
sometimes one can sit for the night
and you still have 48 minutes
a very good center play
on top of all the primary defenders
obviously and Shay being Shea.
That's the best center rotation
I've seen in a minute in the league,
bro.
I can't think of another.
Obviously when you have a superstar
your team is different.
But like precluding
having one of the best players
in the world in your team,
the death of that room
is mind boggling if it hits its ceiling.
they got it they they got it and like especially when your biggest competition is victor woman yama
and Nicole yokech and these big men if yonis gets out the east cat like there's just big men to beat
and you have a plethora of them that all look like they have their skills defensively too
and we'll yeah come on and we'll we'll see in night one at the the conversation with the spurs
and thunder yes like those two right now are the two best teams in in the west and we're expecting
both of them to just be in the conference finals
for the next five years and just keep playing
against one another.
I think that last year's series
should have been Thunder
I think the Thunder should have won
that with health.
And I still think that coming into this year
that even with the ascension
of Wembe, even with the ascension of Denner Harbor,
I still think that the Thunder are just a better
team from top to bottom,
that they can go one through 10
stronger than the Spurs
can. So I'm going to, I'm going to bet on them. I think that if either one of those two teams have
an ability to do something special like that, I'm going to lean the thunder as opposed to the spurs.
Fair. Yeah, well, see you come playout time, the matchups are everything. And we know a certain part
of the matchup that leans the spurs way. But as far as regular season goes, I agree. I think OKC is
equipped to be the one seed once again. Because I think the real ex-mactor there is obviously,
like, if Dylan Harper makes a superstar leap, then like when be still there, still stop shave really
well, maybe that could be a way that the Thurge
just continue to have the number.
Shack and Kobe at that point.
Yeah, like maybe that can just break shit.
But even if he is extremely good, I still think
regular season-wise, that Thunder should be the more equipped team.
I agree. That'll be a playoff tilt for the next one.
I have the New York Knicks.
Not much to say about the Knicks coming off a championship.
They have the same team together.
There's the doling stuff.
They're not paying Cat Heart.
I don't got a hot take about that because we all know what it is.
It's stupid as hell.
So it'd be it.
So my hot take for them is,
Brunston and Hart won't be the best friendship in the league anymore
at the end of this season.
they will be eclipsed as no longer being the best bromance in the league.
Oh, okay.
So I'm assuming it doesn't have much to do with them,
but there has to be like another romance that's like building your head right.
Stefan Castle and Dylan Harper are an elite romance.
They're our magazine covers together.
They're doing the same playbook.
He said, bro, we lost us in best friends.
That's crazy.
They're going to learn from that and be inspired by that and cultivate their own friendship
so they can want with a pirate friendship.
That's one option.
Do it for me five.
Let's do it, man.
These friendships, they like,
That was crazy.
Josh Harder and Brunson,
they're like,
they're like,
dear damn your childhood friends
at this point
going back to college.
Yeah.
And they didn't choose
their college because of each other.
They were kind of like
put together by,
by fate, right?
Mm-hmm.
But they didn't choose this love.
Awesome Reeves and Luca Dantia chose this love.
They chose this friendship.
They're from different parts of the world.
Awesome Reeves chose this day
because Luke is here.
They might be the best friendship in the league.
They might be the best bromance in the league.
Those guys have a relationship,
like a connection of energies
that they chose.
It's like a rom-com
where they,
But they weren't destined to be together in any way.
They weren't here because of circumstance in any way.
They chose this connection.
So maybe they're going to be the best bromance in the league this year.
Listen, man, I think it is.
Why are you laughing so RV?
That's nothing I said.
I quoted Dylan Harper on a TikTok comment.
He left off of Stefan Castle, bro.
Dylan 45.
Yeah, bro.
I've never heard Dylan Harper.
I've never heard Dylan Harper say Stefan Castle.
He just calls him five all day, bro.
So I do think you're missing a very big key.
Okay, tell me.
To the bromance, which is
they,
because obviously everybody works together.
They work together times two.
I didn't miss that.
Because of the podcast.
I didn't miss that.
That's working against them.
When you were around to them for too long,
you start to butt heads.
You start to get tired of them.
Being teammates, we've seen it many times.
Your teammates for years,
they start to just,
you can only deal with seeing somebody so many times
and you start to just get annoyed
by things that are mundane to them.
It's not their fault.
You just start to get tiresome.
Double that.
Two jobs.
They're bound to start budding head.
and nothing will happen because of it,
but it can make them fall from the best romance
than number three.
Too much wear and tear.
It's like an athlete's knees.
They jump too many times
and all of a sudden the cartilage is gone.
Their carilage is being grinded.
Just a little bit.
Again, I'm not saying they're going to break up or anything.
But maybe the spark won't quite be there
the way it once was.
Maybe they'll stop doing the little things.
Maybe Jaylin stopped buying Josh Hart roses.
Maybe he'll stop telling him he's beautiful.
Maybe he'll stop and give them coffee in the morning.
See, but that's the thing where even last year,
you can tell like they still have the story.
spark you know what I'm saying like they they still be trying people get divorced at 50 no but no but
but they still be trying stuff you know you know what I'm saying like yeah yeah yeah they're like they're
like it's not something where like they're they don't run the same play for 20 years josh you be
sparking their relationship they have new plays on the install like they treat they treat training camp
very seriously and bring in new schemes like I think it's I think they they they they they
are a evolving
relationship and so
they kind of keep that to the side.
Okay, never be stale. Okay. Okay.
Okay. Interesting.
Brunson strikes me as a type of guy that in his old age
will start to lose that spark and maybe get resentful.
And maybe the effort that Josh shows,
he would like weaponize it against him and he thinks he's
annoying because of it.
But you have to have that effort bare minimum.
But if nobody appreciated it, then what's it for?
I think,
I think he, I think they,
They do.
What are bruson thinks hard for granted?
I definitely.
A lot of people do take hard for granted, right?
That's true.
I don't think Brunton is one of them.
Food for thought.
It's one of the things I will be looking out for this season.
Just a thought starter.
See, I don't like that.
You're trying to break up.
You're trying to break up a happy home right now.
They can be the third best friendship in the league.
It's okay.
No one's got to break up because of it.
Many of championships have been won with weaker friendships than third best in the league.
See, but that's the, that's the thing is that.
they're so far past the friendship.
They're just brothers at this point.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, it's not,
they're not just best friends.
It's just family.
We've combined euphemisms for relationships,
and now it's weird.
I understand.
The reference teammate and the convict
I'm kind of strange.
I understand what you're saying.
Mo, what is the next topic?
Mad, weird.
Oh, bad.
All right.
Let's get back to basketball for two.
seconds, man. I got the Orlando magic. My hot take is for the first, for the first time in 15 years, they're going to have a top 15 offense in the NBA. How many times we said this in the row? The bar is low. The bar is low. But it does make it a hot take because 15 years is crazy. Yeah, like I have a hot take, but it's not like a bursting flame. It's just a little match, you know. I think Sean Sweeney and through the simple things that we've seen happen in the offseason.
so far. Moots fucking mountains, seeing them put the ball in front hands way more often and seeing
how much movement they have on their roster is great. Now, I think that when it comes to
looking at this roster from head to toe, they're talented. They're one of the more talented
cores like two through eight or whatever in the Eastern Conference when it comes to
a playoff team specifically. You sure? Yeah, I think so. Like, I think they have, arguably have
more talent two through eight than the Detroit Pistons. It's fair. Anthony Black.
Franz is there, of course.
You have Jalen Suggs.
Desmond Bain.
They have a lot of good guys there.
They have a lot of good guys there, bro.
They do.
Yeah.
And so I think the offensive infrastructure
between those guys and seeing how
things just look and feel
so much more like,
breathable is what I believe.
I'm an arm's wet and I can't wipe it
because I have a sleeve on.
That's excrucied.
This is a horrible feeling.
I'm just going down.
Mads slow down your wrist.
Yeah.
But yeah, top 15 offense for the Orlando Magic, man.
The bar is low.
But I think it will be the best
Orlando Magic basketball we see in a very long time.
And that bar is done on ground.
That's crazy.
You can't even limbo under that.
It's impossible.
Yeah, bro.
Dwight Howard was over there hooping and getting MVP buzz
the last time they were a good offense.
So it's been a minute.
Hopefully you're right.
If not, I'm sick of watching this team be terrible at offense.
This is their only pivot, bro.
It has to be better this year.
Don't have any who you got?
I got the Chicago
Go Bulls.
Caleb Wilson is going to win the dunk contest this year.
He's going to bring back the feeling by competing in it as an important player?
I think he's, modest tried to do it right.
Modis competed in it.
Didn't go well.
But I think that Caleb Wilson.
Damn, no man.
That was ridiculous.
Are you just going to let him there?
Bro, another charger down.
Oh my God, disrespectful.
Put his ass on the IR.
Yeah.
Disrespectful.
That is very, very disrespectful.
Facts, real.
But I think that Caleb Wilson
hasn't even played a game
fully going for I'm the people's champ, right?
He is, he was doing sideline stuff
for the NBA as like a social media correspondent.
He is already involved,
like as a part of the friend group
of the new Chicago stars with Peaker Armstrong,
Caleb Williams, all of them, right?
He'd be hanging out with them.
He's fully,
buying into I'm part of the new face of Chicago sports. Winning the dunk contest, bringing out a pair
of Jordan 3s doing a free throw line dunk, that's in the cards for him. That's already there.
And the Bulls, they're not going to win a championship this year, but you got to sow the seeds of
I'm here, I'm doing it for the people, I'm going to restore the feeling. That is one of the best
ways to do it. Okay, if he does the first round, he does a Derek Rose dunk and the last round
he does a Michael Jordan dunk, is that pandering or is that good homage? Both. Both.
So it's good pandering.
So it works.
Okay.
But I think he is clearly athletic enough.
I think he is going to be creative enough.
He's going to have a chance to win the dunk contest.
All the other guys that people have said, the other younger stars, right, for years, it was Jah Zion.
Those guys have aged out.
They're not going to, they're not going to want to do it.
Caleb Wilson is going to.
John Zion would lose that bitch today.
Those guys are jumping the same.
Right.
They get smoked.
People were saying,
two years ago,
he's not doing it anymore.
Caleb Wilson is the next guy.
You think AJ's open to it?
I can see him being open to it,
especially if Caleb does it.
I can also see him
feeling like he's too cool for that as well.
I don't know.
I feel like he did dunk contests
when he was younger.
Maybe he's still like that.
And I can see him being the type of guy
that's like competitive
if he's like Caleb or Darren does it.
Yeah.
Well, he set the tone
and decided to do it, maybe not.
But I can definitely see him
and be like, look, me too.
We mentioned one of these guys.
I got the Portland Trailblazers
next.
Hot take for the Trailblazers.
is by the end of this season,
Scoot Henderson will finish the year
as their clear-cut most valuable guard.
Ah, most valuable guard, okay.
Yeah.
And I said valuable because, like,
maybe Dame still got it for one more year.
Maybe he's better because he's Dame.
But, like, you know, obviously,
he's getting old.
There's a world where he also applies
to being worse than Scoot.
But I want to choose to believe
Dame still a star for one more year at least.
Yeah.
Or at least is a very good offensive player,
wherever the star line is
and wherever he falls on that.
Don't really care,
but I want to assume Dame still got it
for one more year.
But Scoot finishes year
as their clear-cut, most valuable guard.
Yeah.
Over Shaden.
over Ja over Dame over whoever else is on that team I'm forgetting about yeah I can definitely
see that uh this hopefully this hopefully means that he's the most all around best all round
round guard that they do have and he he might be he actually might be that considering that yeah
dame might not be able to move necessarily the same as dame like two three years ago whatever
he's going to be very good but i don't think he's going to be as good a defender as scute will
be i don't think that drew holiday has the same type of burst or explosion at some light school
Shade on Hart doesn't have the shit in sharp doesn't have the type of playmaking that Scoot has.
And also when it comes to, again, being a, let's say consistent shooter compared to someone like John Moran.
Scoot's a better shoot as well.
So I can see this happening because he has, he's like the best combination of all these guys right now.
I think maybe this isn't hot enough.
So I guess I'll say by playoff time, school Henderson will be starting on this team.
See, I actually think the opposite was hotter.
Okay.
That he was the more valuable.
And screw what I just said.
Both are true.
but we'll go with one that's hotter to Donovan.
Okay, okay, fair.
I like that.
My next hot take,
we are going to see
the most efficient
guard season in NBA history
by Darren Peterson.
Now, we literally just seen that last year.
You mean, rest for a rookie?
Yes, for a rookie.
Oh, but to say,
my dad.
He's going to be Shay.
Are you stupid?
No, no, no.
I forgot the word rookie for two seconds.
Very important word.
just shift the entire context of the conversation.
I was like, what?
He's going to win MVP.
He's Kobe?
No, most efficient rookie guard season is going to be had by Darren Peterson now.
We just seen that happen with Connipu.
I think in similar lights, the Utah Jazz already will be a well-willed machine.
And I think similar to Khan, he's not going to be prioritized as the best part or the focal point of this offense.
because the Utah Jazz already have so much going on and so many established all-star guys
and Larry Marketer and Jerry Jackson Jr., Keontay, George is there to help lead the ship as well.
But Darren Peterson is going to get enough opportunity, a good mix opportunity and efficiency
to not tank his numbers.
He shot like 43% from college, 38% from three-point line specifically.
And I think those numbers will do nothing but rise.
I think he can be a 40% three-point shooter day one in the league,
simply because the looks that he's going to get are going to be OD.
And I don't ever see his task being that tiresome offensively.
Okay.
Donovan, who's next?
The Houston Rockets.
Ime Udoka has brunched his last brunch.
He's getting fired at the end of this year.
Maybe brunch are like that in Houston?
Yes.
Wait, they're going to fire him and ban him from brunch?
Like both?
That sucks.
He was your job and your hobby?
Well, he's going to try and get another job.
and the other job is not going to have
as a problem of a brunt scene
so like he just might not
he might not be like a part of that lifestyle
when he's coaching in Memphis or whatever yeah that sucks
so that sucks but
you didn't brunch in Memphis
this there has to be a couple spots
they definitely like it exists but it's not
but you're not they do
actually I had brunch in Memphis one not one time
I got the best in rural packing
I'm like god damn life you're not brinching the way
that you may is brunch
wait how how is your brunt is on some weak shit
compared to email how is he brunching
hard
Yeah, you know.
Like, he has, he has sparklers at, at brunch.
Mm, okay.
I just think that the other.
Why do brunch you will love sparklers?
It makes it an event.
I don't know.
Brush is an event, yeah.
You know.
Got to romanticize your life.
You really do.
Like, listen, like, no, no, nothing funny.
You really do have to do it sometimes, right?
The Rockets, though, I think, so I think that the Rockets have a really, really good opportunity of being a good regular season team.
Yep.
Like, they can be a three-seed.
There's a world I might entertain where they could surprise everybody and, you know, maybe jump up and be a two-seat.
I just think that in the playoffs, are you being the spurs?
probably not. Are you being the Thunder? No. Are you being the Lakers? Probably not. Are you being
the Timberwolves? Maybe not. And you're going to have to go through one of those four teams
bare minimum, right? Forget about Denver, you know, forget about anybody else in that conference.
I think that they probably lose in the first round again. And for a team that has gone all in
by getting Kevin Durant, by giving out contracts left and right,
they're going to look at their current situation and say,
we need somebody else who can take us over the top,
and EMA is going to be one of the first guys that they look at.
He might get Duane Casey.
Successful regular season, but clearly not the guy
to make the offense good enough for the playoffs.
I'm going to say you were 100% right.
I think that is a very, very easy thing to imagine happening.
Yeah, he's going to get Dwayne Casey twice.
Tough.
First time was a little different.
Yeah, it was a little different.
dynasty starts after you took coach yeah yeah different reason hey man you might be cooking on that i like that
i like that i think he is like out of the group of coaches that we mentioned of the top tier western
conference teams he's the worst of him a lot i think him and chris finch maybe he can go ban for ban on
that maybe but i think the even the timbre was the ross just makes way more sense on paper and
it's easier to see progressing in the playoffs than the houston rockets at times but yeah i feel i feel like
his offensive philosophy and what he can do and pull out of his back pocket and have new creative
ideas is very like what the hell is his offensive philosophy i don't know run through the
motherfucker face that's what it is pull shangoon stop being a bitch that's what it is yes they said
laugh at us yeah all right next team let's go brooklyn nests i think jaguar jolman will win most
improved player in the league this year over your shela who's my shaylor psyche thank you oh well
You know, it's always the thing where he play games or not.
So I don't know.
I wouldn't bet on Zach Edy when most improved player to league
just because I wouldn't bet on a 7'4-3 guy that gets hurt to not get hurt.
As much as I would love for Zach Edy to win it because I do still hold stock.
I think Yeager will win most improved player.
I think he was starting my point guard, which we were talking about him being like the shooting guard,
assuming they would start Mikhail Brown.
But he's a rookie.
So I don't know why we assume that because I think clearly they see themselves as being competitive now,
considering they have Michael Porter Jr. and Julius Randall in the lineup,
you're not really a tanking team in any way.
And tanking doesn't exist anymore for real.
But you're not a rebuilding team like that.
when you have a coach of Georgie Fernandez,
I think they view themselves
as trying to be competitive
and make the play in.
I think Joe Man is extremely good
and I think all the writing is on the wall
that he's that guy that is ready
to break out in a meaningful way
and the team is good enough
and they're trying to play that way,
start him and Keon Ellis together
and have him be the playmaker
for those big wings.
I see the vision of him having a solid
16 points, six assists,
good efficiency.
16 points.
Hell yeah.
I can see that.
That's your bottom, man.
Yeah.
You definitely see that
Oh yeah
Yeah
Maybe 5 assists or something like that
You know
Comlo 44 presser from the field
That's that's very reasonable
I like that
Exactly
Okay
But is that
I don't think six is enough to win
MIP
Is it?
Well there's a star breakout
I don't know
I feel like we've seen them start
To go away from
Actually know you're right
Because Mennikil got it right
He got 20
Yeah
So let's say that
19.6 assist
He gets closer 20
Let's say that
Because I pulled the number
Out of my ass
16 is too low
19 or 20.6 assist
while being a very good player
that is a new building block for this team
on a team that's surprisingly good
maybe they're the surprise 10 C
because some guys get hurt
and we can say this guy's leap is the reason we're there
and I think the voting base
you heard the backlash from the fan
they're not giving it to second year stars anymore
so they won't give it to Dylan Harper
or something like that
insert Diego Jumann.
Nice, nice, nice.
My next hot take
no context
Raymond does it again
he's doing it again
Donovan, what's your next take?
I don't know who happens soon
I don't know like if it's on his team
No for it any context I get it
I get it
Does it again
Yep
All time clips will we had
That's not even hot
That's
Yeah
That's fantastic
I got
I got the Cleveland Cavaliers
They will miss the playoffs this year
Damn
Oh my God
What's your problem?
What's wrong with you?
Why are they saying like you killed someone?
Why are they saying like you said a player is going to die?
You kind of did.
Missed the playoff?
Come on, man.
You're straight.
I'm going to get on your side because they're doing too much now.
What's going on?
What's going on, man?
Bro, are you evil?
I didn't even do nothing.
Why they miss a mess?
a playoffs. They couldn't be in like
the plan. There was no, it's missing the playoffs.
They're going to drop. They're going to be a
playing team. For sure.
And when you do your predictions on Monday, you
will put them in the plan? Minimum seven.
Yeah.
Minimum seven. Okay.
Carpherst finals,
by the way. Added Payton,
by the way. Wow.
Okay. Best case scenario
you said.
Wow.
Idiots.
I just, I just think.
I think they're going to be in the plane.
I think they're going to fumble.
That's just what they...
That's just what they do.
I don't give a damn.
I don't.
Right now, right now, instantly, instantly.
Pistons, Celtics, Knicks, Raptors, Sixers, Heat, Pacers.
That's seven.
You get to eight.
You let one more team jump you.
You are in a do or die game for your season.
And you have one opportunity.
And then if you get into that one opportunity, you think I'm going to look Jimbo in his face and take me to the promised land?
Absolutely not.
Absolutely not.
I think that they are going to be like, listen, don't let your hawks mess around and be solid.
Ooh.
And move and move the calves down to nine.
I think that the calves are in.
Let's have a combo because I also have the hawks on my list and we can move these two together.
I put the hawks are the 11th best team in the East.
Hey, they might suck too.
No, no, no, no, no.
I've really been sitting with it.
No, no, no, no, no.
We ain't going to be negative.
And as I've been putting my standings together, I'm like, yo, what do they do better than anybody?
Like, do they have any, any redeemable quality?
You don't think we have no outstanding traits?
What do you mean?
Do you not see Lou Dorts biceps?
Do you not see the way Dyson Dixon to Killings and a Walker consistently harassed fucking defenders?
You experienced a first fucking hand.
What do you mean?
What do we do?
By 50.
It don't matter.
We got two.
games on your ass.
You lost to the house twice.
You right.
You lost by 50, but we took two games, though.
It ain't none.
Hang the fucking battery.
What do you mean?
What do we do?
No redeemable traits.
What do you mean 11 C2?
Come back here.
Where are you going?
What the fuck?
Back that up.
He just said that it ran off.
What the fuck?
Listen, so I got to seven with...
It's not even his take.
He's just, what are y'all do?
No, but I got to seven with my team, right?
Okay.
Let's put the cabs in.
Let's put the cabs in.
At eight.
He said, put your hand in the air.
Why didn't you do that?
Make that shit up.
Yeah.
Listen, you put the cab in, that's eight.
You put the wizards in, that's nine.
With the magic in.
That's ten.
Ten C's better than the Hawks.
Oh, my God.
And the calves.
Exactly.
See, I think the calves.
Don't let the nets get frisky.
Don't let them get frisky.
All right, man.
Whatever.
They have a nice little, a nice little eight and eight start to, to,
to open the season up?
Don't let the hornets be right
and they don't need Lamello.
That's also true.
Oh, can they be 12?
13.
We can get crazy.
Oh, no, no, no, no.
We're not.
But yeah, I think the Hawks are a decent team,
obviously.
I think they can be as good as it were
last year relatively.
The whole East got better.
And I think, I mentioned like with the Pistons.
I don't think the Pistons are going to fall off.
They're frauds, man.
Because everybody got better.
I think the Hawks are exactly good enough
that they will fall off
because the East got better.
But a lot of teams got better than the Hawks.
Not necessarily better enough than the Pistons,
but they did clear the Hawks.
And I think I appreciate their run.
They had the second half of the season.
It was as far as what part of the season it was.
It was kind of the team defense equivalent
of a Jalen Green run.
But they did be the show of everybody in March basketball.
And it was good momentum to carry into the playoffs.
It mattered for that playoffs.
Don't know if it necessarily matters
as far as we had to assume
there will be a top defense again going into this season
when they won't be able to play
tanking teams all season in the Eastern Conference
like they were in the back half of last.
year. Yeah, I just want to go through it real quick. So at a point, they were 28 and 31,
and then they went on this long winning streak, ended up 38 and 31, right? You won 10 games in a
row. Brooklyn, Washington, back to back, Portland, Milwaukee in March, silly, Dallas,
Brooklyn, Milwaukee again. You guys are fraudulent.
It sounds like we did what we were supposed to do. What do you mean? You guys, you guys are
absolutely fraudulent. And we can beat those teams again. And in the moment, we had to be like,
listen, you can only play the teams in front of you.
Winning 10 games is winning 10 games.
We knew what it was.
And that's why the fact that you guys did get two games in the playoffs,
very commendable for a fraudulent team to get games off of the eventual champion.
But I don't think that throughout last year from start to finish and even now,
and if you add in what Jalen Johnson showed in the playoffs,
I don't believe in him as a high-level number one option creator for everybody.
I think Nikkiy Alexander Walker still has to prove that he can go to another level.
You guys rely way too much on C.J. McCollum.
I don't know if Quinn Snyder is still good or not.
I think there's a very real scenario where you guys get passed up.
I ain't you traded Zachary Reese's share.
No X factors anymore.
He saw two for nine last night, bro.
Or whenever the last game was, bro.
He was bad.
If anything, that he was bad.
For that night.
He's always bad.
He was bad that night.
But going back to what you said, I think that.
A little 10 game stretch that we had did prove to show something that was positive.
But as a Hawks fan, I'm being honest, Brett, that we went through so much like internal ruckus.
We don't know what the fuck is going on within the organization in terms of direction.
We're like soul searching right now.
Ruckus.
I love betting on ruckus.
That's really encouraging.
Yeah, we're soul searching right now.
In a deep conference, let's bet on the ruckus.
But one thing I will say is that I do think out of all the teams in the Eastern Conference right now,
playoff teams specifically we do have the best perimeter defense from one through four or
yeah one through three on a consistent basis a revolving door just like elite
defenders just coming in and fucking you up is just hard to deal with and then um i think of course
when it comes to like true like elite elite elite defenses i guess you can say pretty much every team
has that type of big that's that'll that'll like stop us from being the best defensive league we don't
have a wemby or rudigabere or anything like that but we have an identity and i think that will just
So you think that you guys would be a top five defense next year?
I think we'll be a top back half 10, middle-ing 10 defense.
It could be.
Yeah, they could be.
That's what they were like.
They were tied with Phoenix for ninth in defense.
Okay, I think it would be like a top seven, maybe six defense.
I don't think they'll be higher.
I think that thing.
I don't think they'll be higher ranking.
Maybe the defensive rating is better because I just think some defenses took leaps this year that we can expect.
If they're ninth again, I won't be terribly shocked.
Yeah.
And I think offensively
It's hard to envision how we're going to take certain steps
But CJ's going to be here for a full season
And whatever you did have to be by CJ Cullen
He gave you PTSD
He gave you back shots bro
He gave you back shots twice
I understand why I didn't want to hear that hear about it
And two rounds of back shots is a lot of shots
I know bro
Like CJ gave him to you bro
He laid it down for y'all bro
He gave y'all problems bro
Coming back for another day
That's a lot of shots
So I man, I chirk red, bro
didn't even turn the lights off, bro.
Like, you were just straight in front of everybody.
It's laid it out there.
Just, wow.
On IG live.
Okay, and shout to CJ.
Had a fantastic 72 hours.
You keep talking about these three days
in which he was that guy.
What I'm saying?
There's some of the best days of my life, right?
Fuck, that sucks.
I think you tell the truth.
Yeah, I'm not.
It took everything in him to do those two games.
Mm-hmm.
He, he, but when he first got traded to your team, you were like, oh my goodness.
You know, the first three games of C.
Cid McComb, fucking hell.
So those three days don't matter, but these three days do.
Yeah, because he just got here.
He was, you know, he was learning a landscape.
You know, he didn't know who the fuck Jailon Johnson was at all, bro.
Yeah, long-so-share, I do think you guys are going to suck.
I think I don't think they'll suck, but I think they will be low understanding so many teams are good.
The Hawks have never given you legitimate reason.
to hope.
Damn.
They did for a second.
Damn.
Of course they did.
You know they did for a second.
But let's be off the hot.
It's another team that I have like really strong hope for.
They're bad.
Surprise, surprise.
The lizards.
Knock on line, man.
I think they're going to,
my hot take is that they're going to be one of the four best teams in the Eastern Conference.
Okay.
That's a real hot take.
I'm glad you pulled something out like this.
Real four seat.
And I think they're going to be,
I think they're going to give Anthony Davis a long-term deal.
I think he's going to love it there.
He's going to really embrace himself in the brunch culture.
and also I think he's going to make an All-N-B-A second team.
Big brunch day today.
Yeah, yeah, I agree.
I agree.
Okay, so we're thinking that AD bounceback is in store.
Onke has one more year in him.
Yes, one more strong year.
I think he's going to be in DPOI conversations.
Don't know if he'll win it because it's going to be tough,
but I think he's going to be in conversations.
We're just giving him.
He's never really been in conversations even when he's at his best.
He's always been on the outside looking in.
So that's the part I get lost in.
But as far as it being a very good seed and him being all-em-being again,
I can get behind that part as a good hot take.
I think it'll be like top five.
in those conversations probably.
Sure.
I think their defense,
I think,
I don't know what's going to be better.
Their defense or their offense.
It's going to be hard
because three young is there,
but yeah,
I don't know.
And AJ is a rookie.
Yeah,
the DPOI conversation
is never really five guys deep.
That's a whack-ass conversation
who's fit the DPOI balance.
Just know he's going to be
an all,
an all defensive team.
Bare minimum.
If you don't like that,
new verbatry.
This is a good hot take
because I can't co-sign that.
You can't?
No.
They have so many just good players
on this team.
I won't predict.
I can't co-sign it either.
It's his hot take down mine.
But I can say there's a non-zero chance
that like there's always surprise teams.
We know this.
Our rankings, our predictions are never good
because there's always teams we don't see coming.
If it's the Wizards, I totally can see that happening.
Yeah, you need some Zag picks every year that just don't make sense.
Yeah.
And Wizards being the four seed is like,
that sounds picture perfect of what that Zach could be.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, who the fuck would I assume or guessed that the Detroit
Pizzards were going to win 60 games last year,
but no one made that prediction at all.
And if the, if the Wizards were going to be a top,
four seed and one's surprises because
Kishon George is one of the most underrated young
players in the entire league and I think he's the perfect
combination of size,
shooting, playmaking
between all these guys, what is?
He comes up here
says, Wizards are going to be the
4C, you just got to have some
Zag Pigs, just have some Zag Pigs.
I said, Cabs are going to miss the playoffs.
How dare you? Oh my God,
you're a hater. I mean, that's your Zag PIC?
You're a hater. You ain't say that.
When I just said it? I don't think he actually called you a
hated today. He didn't. I'm sure he thought it.
But those words actually weren't said today. Yeah, I just said
oh my God. I think he's fighting demons that don't exist.
Let's gaslight this guy.
We actually all say what you said was reasonable actually. What are you
talking about?
I got knocked out the room. That's crazy.
I can react crazy to the zag picks, too.
He just needs that fix. Fair.
You're valid. And we're testing
the zag pick if it's Zagworthy.
No, I'm turning it up now.
All right.
All right.
Go ahead.
Let's keep shitting on all those picks.
Let's do it.
Let's keep telling him he's crazy.
Who's your next one?
Yeah.
Tell me I'm crazy.
All right.
My next, my next.
My next, my next.
My next piece.
Yes.
Jason Tatum will win scoring title.
Oh, you're a fucking sick of.
No, you're lying.
No, no, no, no.
You wrote that down.
Have you ever seen a scoring title?
Do you even know what a scoring title is?
Tell me how crazy, Biesel.
He's not crazy.
He's not crazy.
You know how many points,
Taylor.
That actually is crazy.
That is crazy, by the way.
Do you know how many points Tateen would have to average against the scoring title, bro?
About 34.
You don't get to the line like that anymore.
There's no chance at hell.
Since like 20, 23, this free throw rate has like dropped consistently, bro.
He ain't doing it.
Higher than Luca and Shea, there's no chance.
Nah.
You actually are crazy.
I can't solemnly tell you that you are crazy.
Yeah.
If he has to average 34, that means the season is in hell for the Celtics.
It might be.
We have a lot of faith.
We have a lot of faith in the Celtics to grow out and win a whole bunch of games.
But also, and like, listen, Paul George says look good in preseason.
He's Paul George.
He's 30-something years old.
He's going to miss some time.
He's going to miss some games.
I'm hopeful that Derek White's shooting bounces back.
What if it doesn't?
Hey, Richard, you're ready to give buckets.
And now, now you're back to the.
same situation that you were in last year where you have a team that wants to shoot a lot of
threes, doesn't have a lot of good three-point shooters. Your secondary guy is in and out the
lineup. I think that Tatum does have the ability to get to the line. And in the last couple
years, even though that you're talking about his free throw rate going down and down, I do think
that was, we've seen him in a specific year, especially the year before they got to the championship.
his free throw rate did jump up.
And so we know that he can do it.
And I do think that Tatum, as he is aging, as he is taking more command, why can't he
have a season just as good, if not better?
And I'm assuming that, honestly, it is going to be better than what Jalen Brown had last year.
So I think he's going to average 30.
The question is, can he get those extra four points to be the scoring title?
And I think that part of the situation will probably dictate that for him.
And he's just capable.
I think that we will get a more aggressive Tatum this year.
Okay.
Hell, yeah.
I mean, I think everything you said is true, it'll just fall short of scoring title,
just because that bar is for elite scores of all time that Tatum just never has had the ability to get into.
He should average 30 though this year.
Yeah, I think he can get to 30.
That's fair.
Yeah, I think he should.
He should get to the paint more because it's still going to be his world.
But it's just tough because he's.
Getting older, off of Achilles, end of the season, like, somewhat.
He ended the season injured again.
So it's like, it's just hard to imagine that on a consistent basis.
I mean, he's 28.
I think he's like he's even 30.
Yeah, but the Achilles gets you accelerated a couple years.
He's 30 in spirit.
Yeah, man.
And I just, just simply because Luca and Shay are here.
That's why I can't really go that far.
Like, everything we said, I said about Reeves having all this usage,
Lucas and having me more.
Like, Lucas should average 33 at least.
Yeah.
So I said 34.
Good luck
Good luck
He's gonna get there
More power to him
Toronto Raptors
Hot take they will finish
With the number one
Defense in the NBA
Mm
Number one
Kawhi Barnes and CNB
is gonna be generational
Together
Kawai Barnes and Purtle
will also be very good together
This will be
The top defense in the league
Probably not actually
But the top defense in the league
Okay that doesn't surprise me
They were number five last year
With fucking Brandon Ingram
And Kauai Leonard's spot
Yeah but
Quatlin, I mean, he doesn't have the same defensive intensity,
but I can imagine a world on where that completely turns around
because he sees all these other young guys trying super hard.
And he also is still a very good defender.
He doesn't have the same intensity as when he was the greatest primitive defender of all time.
Yeah.
But he's still quite good, especially for a star player.
Like, he's still like very, very good defensive player,
just not a star Thompson like he literally was when he was younger.
So I do think that when you put your main score,
having that much better defense than Brandon Ingram,
with everything they're doing, C&B going to year two,
who you already think is the top 15 power four in the league.
Yeah, I'm sure it'll be the Thunder for real.
But this will be a team that is in that conversation
to be the best defense in the league.
Okay.
I think that's a good take.
Now, where does that get them as far as, like,
playoff runs go?
We obviously think they can be in that tier of teams
that can make a run.
I don't know.
We'll see, but for regular season,
their defense will be amazing.
Okay.
Okay.
Good hot take.
My next take is the Milwaukee Vucks
will be trading Tyler Hero this season.
He hasn't expired.
contract. I don't know if that's really a hot take. But I think the reason why they will
end up trading him is because something that's even hotter is that Bradenberg is going to be
that guy. I think he's going to be, it's going to be really hard to keep him off of the bench.
I think he's one of the more complete guards and NBA ready guards coming out of this draft
class. I think he's going to be the most steady out of all these guards. And yeah, like,
I think they're going to want to trade him because they want to give him more on ball reps and
give him the keys to the franchise
compared to having someone I tell him
who's a good player he
can be additive in some situations
and circumstances but he's
going to be backdoored
can be additive in some situations
is so disrespectful of a phrasing like he's
fucking Brandon Ingram he's good he's good
but he can be better in certain situations
you know I think he's additive in every
situation whether he can be transformative
in every
additive yeah additive
we're talking like he's his negative player
Can he be like your quarterstone?
No, no, no.
Yeah.
What team gets worse
with adding Tyler Hero?
Um,
there's a definitely team
would be worse.
Yeah, I guess at the Lakers,
they already have Tyler Hero
and also reuse,
but like,
yeah.
Aside of like those obvious situations.
The nuggets.
I don't think they get worse.
No, I think they get,
I think they get a little bit better.
Whatever, not important.
But I think that makes sense.
I think they could trade Tyler Hero.
I think it's a very reasonable.
I'm just saying,
I'm gonna just on the same teams.
Just to find one that doesn't get better.
Timberwolves.
Pelicans, no one gets better over there.
He would make them so much better
getting to shooting.
He got some of those weird parts,
which I'm glad you mentioned them
because I'll get mine real quick.
The Pelicans would trade
at least four rotation players
at the deadline.
Ooh, man.
They're finally going to do it.
They're going to have to.
And listen, this is a hot take
because Joe Dumars is saying,
I'm not going to do it.
And he's like, stop asking too.
Yeah.
Like, I'm sick of it.
If you have a voice,
I don't want to hear it.
You know what?
I've been thinking to myself.
What if they just
end up completely
not wanting to prioritize
Derek Queen anymore. I saw him come off the
bench the other night. It's preseason, so
I'm sure they're like, there's so many like
moving parts. It doesn't really mean too much.
But what if Jamal Moldi, who is
known to be like a defensive-minded coach, someone
who just really emphasizes trying
really hard and being strong and physical, which is
things that Derek Queen struggled at
at times towards the end
of the season? What if he's just like, yeah, like, he's
miss, he has to start for me. And he wants to empower
his on Williamson and really like
build up a new culture that really
doesn't prioritize someone like Dary Queen.
Then those are...
I can imagine that.
Sure.
Great.
I've also seen nothing that says
they'll prioritize Zion Williamson because of that.
Because also that doesn't fit Zion Williamson at all.
So I think maybe they can prioritize neither of them is the answer to that question.
Dude, neither.
What the fuck are you doing as a man?
Randy, Tray Murphy and Dejante Murray the Keys.
We can share both those guys.
I don't give a shit.
Damn.
Zion's super traded.
Trey Murphy's always been dangled.
Maybe he's the franchise so he's not traded.
Sadeg Bay.
He got side just now, so I think he can't get traded until...
January 15th.
Is that what it is?
I stood before the deadline.
Traded.
Dejante traded.
Apparently in your eyes,
Derek Queen,
traded in you two.
We're getting everybody
the fuck out of here.
Dude.
We're blowing it up finally.
It won't make sense
to keep them together.
We're going to get
all the assets we can
in the last season.
They got to trade Herb Jones.
He's just making
$14 million this year.
Liker.
Stop that.
I'm kidding.
We got Mitey's morning at them.
T.H.C.
Hell yeah.
I wish you still
THHC in a pick.
Donovan, your turn.
San Antonio Spurs.
Deer & Fox
will be traded
before the deadline.
I think that they...
Whoa.
You actually will?
Yes.
Like, I think,
I think the situation
is much more volatile
than what we're
giving it credit for.
Okay.
Where it's,
where...
I think a lot of times
whenever we talk about it,
about the Fox Harper situation,
it's like,
we always end up
in this place of well you know you can always just have three three good guards not always and i think
that this is one of those situations it just can't happen and for what you brought dearon fox in there
to do the money that you've allotted towards him the money that that he has coming down uh down the road
and where denland harper is right now the things that he's shown the the the way that de er and fox
is looked at right now fair or unfair is has
has been completely turned because of the playoff series.
And even if he had just played bad,
I think he still would have had a pass
because you could have said,
you know, his ankle was hurt.
That decision that he made in game four was so bad
that when you think of,
when you have Deering Fox in there
and everybody else is 2021
and you're the oldest one
and you say, okay, well,
you are not going to have the smartest brain in the room,
right?
If you're not going to be the most under-control person,
as the veteran in these situations,
then what are you doing here if the other guy is also just playing better than you?
Yeah.
I think that Harper is going to get to a point this year,
and it's going to happen very, very quickly where the rumblings about his place on the team,
the way that certain people look at Fox and, you know, across the league,
I just, I don't think they're going to be able to go into the playoffs with that situation
looming over their heads.
Okay, fair enough.
This three-team deal to get Michael Porter Jr.
For him is going to rock the world.
MPJ and Wemby, those two spaces of that height with multiple slashing guards.
Going to be ridiculous.
That might be a bad locker room, though.
I don't go on.
Will it?
I think Wembe won't fuck with MPJ.
I think it's like duct tape him right after the game probably.
Yeah, you don't got to hit them.
Yeah.
I don't even think Nicola just fuck with them like that.
Like, they're hanging out?
Probably not.
I don't know.
Keep a business.
Yeah, it is what it is.
Well, he's a professional, hopefully.
The workers.
Yeah, but the rest of the team is so tight-knit, though.
I don't know if I'm giving Michael Porgerne to credit
that he can come in and blow that shit up
I feel like I was doing a lot for his capabilities
I'm not I'm not saying he's gonna blow it up
but everybody
everybody else likes to go to dinner
what if they don't like them now you have to invite somebody
that you don't like to dinner I think every NBA player has played with an idiot
before I don't think it's a new to them I think they'll live
there might be another bozo on the bottom of the bench
we don't know they don't get mics and tell us the thing
definitely is but it's one thing is also
you know how bad you look at somebody
when they're bozo and they're older than you
is like, dude, really, what are you doing with your life?
Like, with your time?
Like, that's kind of hard.
I don't think the NBA player is enlarged.
View him that way that we do.
I think they're probably just like, hey, Mike's crazy.
I think wouldn't be Mike.
Yeah, it wouldn't be smart, probably.
They call him Mike.
Okay.
Yeah.
You know Mike.
The Memphis Grizzlies.
They will make the play in tournaments.
Definitively, they will be a top 10 team, Mahatik,
that I have no room in my heart for them to miss.
zero outcomes in which they missed to play.
Obviously, they could miss the play.
But I think I feel pretty confident that when I do my rankings,
I'm going to put them nine or ten or something like that.
Yeah.
And most time, you know, one of the top eight teams ends up getting hurt.
So even if I put them at 11,
I think there's a very, very solid chance that the grizzlies are good enough
that they're going to be in that mix.
And probably will end up being one of those teams.
I think I've talked at length when they added Camboozer,
who I love, probably my favorite prospect in that draft
is like just my personal favorite types of players.
Cambooser as a playmaker, attacking mismatches,
walking mismatch with his size and agility combinations mixed with Zach Edy.
I don't see a lot of teams in the league that have the size and physicality match up with that.
Unless you have Evan Mobley and Jared Allen, which those guys are still kind of slight,
is going to be very hard to deal with those two guys, let alone the fact that I think Ty Jerome
is the most underrated guard in the league, one of the best scoring non-star.
So strange caveat.
Players in the league, just a dynamite score in the minutes he's gotten, getting more and more
opportunity.
They have multiple young wings and in Janlon Wells, Cedric Coward, your guy.
this is just a very good team, I think,
that if they're well coached
and stay healthy more than anything,
this is, I think, just straight up a good team.
Yeah, they are, they are super interesting.
I, so I don't have them in the, in the playing.
And part of that is for another team that I have
that I will loop in right now, the Dallas Mavericks.
The Dallas Mavericks are going to be a playing team.
And not, and not only that.
Clear.
Oh, you want to get clear?
Listen, they're top eight solidified.
Oh, my God.
The Dallas Mavericks are making the dance.
Hell yeah.
They're doing it.
They're getting out of the plane.
Yes.
They will advance out of the plane.
They will be in a seven-game series this year.
Okay, they'll be the sacrificial lamb to the OKC Thunder this year.
Yes.
But the level that Cooper Flag is about to go to and Kyrie coming back and the playmaking that he's
going to bring the shooting that he's going to bring those two in the dynamic duo of flag
and kairi is going to propel the is going to propel the mavericks to the playoffs okay okay
one of these things is making it we'll see which one i do think that could very much happen for the
maps too there's probably only room for one of these teams exactly that's why that's why it's
yeah no way whatsoever they don't make the topic and what if they do what are you going to do
about it one chip challenge on camera oh amen you he's a hundred
You're trying to push it so hard, man.
He refuses.
He like shrivels up with the thought.
Like you try to throw that at him to see her he reacts.
Every time I say it.
No, you're nasty.
Something about that chip scares him.
The way you try to push this is nasty.
Let me kill two birds in one stone roll.
It is a scary chip.
Have you had it before?
Yes.
Bro, I looked at shit dead and now.
I was like, yo, I'm going to die.
I'm going to die.
I kind of want to do it, no.
Is it that bad again?
I don't remember it.
I'm sure it is that bad, I'm sure.
Well, I had a nibble and I started going crazy.
Oh, you didn't even the whole chip.
Yeah, no.
What?
Wow.
I like half the chip.
Whole chip puppy is crazy.
I'm not going to spicy.
Actually, does the volume of chip matter for real?
Like, is your tongue coated regardless?
It probably is, but it probably just depends on, like, the duration then.
Half the chip is respectable.
A nibble?
Can't respect it.
Yeah.
It's cool, though.
It's cool.
My body responds the way it does.
Let's go.
Grizzly's math bet one chip challenge, but
Luz ass to put cinnamon on the one chip challenge.
Wait, what?
You're trying to combust on a camera?
What the fuck?
What the hell?
Trying to get intoxicated on a camera.
Yeah.
Let's get defeated, man.
That's some Mountain Dew?
Crazy, man.
Code Red Mountain Dew.
Hell yeah.
What a peculiar mixture.
All right, let me kill two birds and one stone, man.
Do it.
Let's go.
Shark horns have told me a lot about themselves over the last, like, six months or so.
What to tell you?
They don't like players who are injury prone.
They don't like players who are too expensive.
They don't like players who are somewhat inconsistent.
And they got riddle of a mellow ball.
I think this upcoming year is going to be really awesome.
for them and Brandon Miller.
And I believe that they will end up shipping Brandon Miller either middle of the season or maybe towards the end of the season.
Probably really speaking towards the end of the season because he's up and due for a contract extension.
And apparently those two sides of the camp are very far away from a number that they agree upon.
Man, I think he put him a restricted free agency hell.
They're put a jailing during them.
Second part of that, I think they probably will.
and our good old friends in Los Angeles,
the Clippers,
who will be more than willing
to accept Brandon Miller
and what he's going to be able to offer.
I don't, I'm not very high on the hornets this year
because of the playmaking situation
and how it was just like not desolate necessarily.
But it's not going to be easy for a lot of these,
for some of these guys to get buckets.
I think con's going to be great.
But I think someone like Brandon Miller
might struggle a little more
because his ability to separate
as a score isn't as promised.
as you would think it is for a 6-9 slashing also a rangy three-point three-point shooter like him
you just pissed off of your hornets fan that watches us I like Brandon Miller a lot but you pissed him off
I don't know if he'll get that extension of these looking for man and I don't know if the efficiency
would be there as well to help big up those numbers you're on that side now you're on
a senator they already lost a melon air trying to take away the other one yeah you're officially on
that side so yeah I'll take for the clipper suit they're also we know them as like a wasteland
and they're going to go ahead and just accept any Brandon Miller.
You're saying except like they're going to dump Brandon Miller.
They need to want assets.
Yeah, they're going to want assets.
They're going to want assets.
They're going to want there's gone, something like that.
Who knows?
Yeah.
Garland for Brandon Miller?
Yeah.
Okay.
It's like a little linear move.
A little bit more.
Yeah, they need a point guard.
They're going to realize, oh, shit.
We do need to help our guys.
So they get a smaller more injury point guard?
Yes, yes, exactly.
I love this scenario.
It makes no sense for anybody involved.
I love it.
That's my favorite type.
I don't think they should have trade with him out, man.
He's predicted the regret.
I feel it, I feel it.
Okay, regret.
They try to undo their regret.
They fuck it up even worse.
Yeah.
Which honestly, very, very reasonable that happened in the NBA.
That happens all the time.
It happens all the time.
Speaking of, I think this kind of applies, a team that ended up losing a forward and
wanted a new one and dug themselves in a deeper hole that doesn't make sense to me.
Phoenix Suns, the Miles Bridges trade will end up being the worst move for the
2026 off season easily
The worst move of the off season
That's hot easily
I think they will be mid
They will be a regular team
And I think Miles Bridges sucks
And I think they won't get much better because of him
And when they lose in the first round
Or losing the playing probably
Like they did last year
Or did lose in the plane last year
I'm blanking
No
No they made it up
Yeah they got belted by OKC
Yes they got both by OKC
They beat the Warriors
When they lose in the playing this time around
They'll look up and say
Damn I wish I had that first round pick
because I can get it look better.
They will rue the day.
They already rude the day.
They just don't know it yet.
Yeah.
Brom, so.
I'm tired of them.
And we can't even really be tired of it.
They just had one, like,
mad regular year.
And I'm already tired of it.
It's a boring team.
I guess.
I just want to see D-Book go out
and get 30, brad game.
That's it at this point.
I don't even care about that anymore.
I'm just totally disinterested.
I'm just totally disinterested.
Yeah.
I still want to see him.
get 30 yeah yeah cool but like I'm not I'm not like rooting for it I am because I've been
disrespectful man I've been saying also he's better than you two years I like two years one year
I don't see I think it's all my teams I got one more team left you have any more teams I have one
more yeah don't have in your turn LeBron James did leave his family to lose
yeah right he said second round they're losing the first they're losing in the first
Damn it. Why?
I'm sorry, Brian.
You just want to get that off.
You're right.
Get on that face time.
That verbi is so funny.
Or a farming backfires.
Tough.
Documentary farming.
It is tough.
We, all offseason, like, the idea of them,
like, listen, if you can load, manage everybody and get everybody healthy at the same time,
when the hell has anybody ever been healthy at the same time?
And when has a team with that many ifs and if this goes right, this goes right?
When does that win in the playoffs these days?
It's never like.
So we're occasion.
Bro, Joel and B.
is 30 something years old.
Once people get to 30 and they come into training camp across any sport.
And they said, I'm in the best shape of my life.
Yeah, you're cooking, buddy.
He does look up to be skinnier, though.
I don't care.
Which is concerning.
What you say?
What?
You think I'm supposed to believe in his health because he's been doing Pilates now?
Like, it's not, it's not, I'm not on that.
And I, the, the teams in the, in the,
the east, especially up top, Boston, Miami, New York, Indy, like those four just off-rip,
I think, especially come playoff time, I'm probably going to feel better than Philly just because
they're just going to have so many pieces coming in and out of the lineup at all times.
And Jalen Brown last year, career year, if we get that specific version of Jalen Brown,
then I might feel different.
I don't know if we're I don't know and right now I would bet against us getting the absolute best version of Jaylon Brown.
I don't care to get the best version of this year Maxie and him him doing that stuff like it's just tough.
I don't give a fuck to get the best version of him. I hate Dylan Brown.
No, no, no, like I don't like I don't at all in this scenario.
I'm saying like they can have the best version of him and I still have all the same concerns I would have without that.
Like he's so far from my concern for this team.
Like as far as I'm concerned, he's Jalen Brown and he's the most predictable person on this team.
Like the good and bad of Jaylon Brown, we'll just get that.
We've gotten it every year forever.
Like I think he's one of the more the more predictable players in the league as far as variance goes.
So like the best version of him, whatever that is to you, whether it be last year and he's a bucket, 2024, whatever you think is the best version.
To me, that won't sink or swim this team.
Like the factors outside of him are so much more important to me.
And I struggle so much to find optimism in the big man group specifically that like cool, Jalen Brown can be damn to MVP and I would still be concerned.
Am I tripping for being concerned about their defense?
Because I think a lot of our talking points
has been about their offense
but their defense is kind of sense.
No, no, my talking point is the defense.
I think building a defense
around Joelle and Bede
is getting more difficult year by year.
Yeah.
Paring him with LeBron James
at 45, 49, 53, 60 years old
is incredibly tough to imagine a way
to make it work.
Then you add in Jalen Brown's offball defense.
Maxi and Veej aren't the biggest
like dominant defenders make up for it.
Yeah.
We were like, oh, we got Dean Wade and KCP.
KCP's been asked for like three years
and we're pointing at those names.
I feel like I'm reliving
the Lakers saga, whenever we're like,
we can make it work if we do,
if Avi Bradley goes crazy,
if so-and-so-and-so goes crazy.
And there's just so many more reasons
to doubt them than there is to believe in them.
Their best defensive lineups,
and it's going to look weird
because the sample sides are going to be what it is.
But like,
with Dean Wade and Bona on the floor,
it's probably going to be better
than what the starting five is defensively.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, Maxie, VJ, Jalen Brown, Dean Wade, Bona.
Yeah, that's probably going to be one of their
one of their most used and one of one of their better defensive lineups and you just know that if lebron
is available if mbid is available that's just not the lineup that they're going to close with on top of
that i don't know if nick nurse is a good coach and i haven't i haven't known for about five years now
and i talked about the other four teams in at the top of the conference those other four coaches
i feel so much better than than nick nurse i feel better i feel better with spow carlyle mazula
Mike Brown at this point.
Like, yeah.
There's so many questions with Philly right now.
And it's going to be fun.
That's the hard part is it's going to be super exciting in the regular season
and the night-to-night basis of it.
And every single night, there's going to be something going on
because they have all of this talent up top.
The bench worries me, the defense worries me, the coaching worries me.
And I think to get a championship and to start going far in the playoffs,
you need those other three things.
And they are very unsure in those areas right now.
I'm hoping to be surprised in a good way by this team.
Like I'm hoping to be wrong about the negative sides of this team.
And I know I'm like harping on that more than the strengths,
which they're very well could be incredible good strengths here.
I just fear they're not like game-breaking strengths that I could really ignore the weaknesses for.
I want them to live up to it up until the playoffs.
Mo, what's your last team?
My last team is the Minnesota Timberwolves.
It was hard for me to have a hot take.
for them because everything just feels so like set in stone.
Lemell's going to obviously, I think everyone knows the outfit, how important, how massive
of offensive injection he gives the Minnesota symbols.
But I feel like something maybe even like a little bit more interesting is that I think
Andy Edwards is truly going to take a new leap to start them and also be widely like considered
as one of the best players in the world.
I think you might shock the entire world and win MVP.
That's my hot take.
Every single he's been getting better and better.
He went to the free throw, free throw line the most this past year.
His efficiency across the board has been at an all time high still, even though he's been
like tinkering with the most random things this past two years ago.
This is his three-point shooting.
He took 10 threes a game.
Damn, there's a shot 40%.
Tone that down a little bit and he tried to refine his post game.
And this year, he's going to have something new to it as well.
I think having a lamello ball is going to lend him to be even more efficient than he was last
year and put up even more numbers while also being just more productive of a defensive player,
which kind of fell off next last year because all the other random things he was tasked to deal with.
I think we're going to truly see him take a leap.
Every like two or three years, we have someone who looks like a top 10-ish player or whatever,
some young guy burst onto the scene and really be considered one of the best players in the entire world,
one of the five best players in the entire world.
and I think Anthony Edwards is next to do that.
I saw a tweet last night from the preseason game
where I saw a Minnesota fan being like,
yo, I'm scared for anti-atholicism.
He looks slow and not jumping very high in the preseason.
That's free season.
Who cares?
I guess.
We see we have so many things.
There's so many things across NBA history to point towards that, bro.
It's fine.
He'll be all right.
I'm just saying I saw it.
I didn't see it, so I don't know.
But I saw the first bit of smoke in the air.
I'm like, oh, no.
don't like that
hate that tweet
not liked
not interested
don't put this on my timeline
no put it on there
I want to keep up with this
if you see the post sales
on Minnesota fans
still not exist
just a reaction
all right
MVP
aunt coming soon
I think neither those things
will be true
he will be at again
very great
second tier non on MVP player
and that's
last hard take
And there we go.
29, 6 and 3 coming up.
Mm.
It's 30.
He's going to average more than Tatum.
All right.
You want to do a hot chip challenge for that?
No.
They already have this thing.
Do you really don't?
No.
Come on.
Why not?
That's dude.
What that chip?
Why not?
I hate that.
Do you not believe in Tatum?
No, I do, but can we think of a different punishment?
I'd rather put money on a lot for a fruit for them.
That's not fun.
No, we have to do some other food thing.
Come on.
We should have, we should have season long bets like that.
We go to hell, man.
This doesn't have a bit of a hot chip, but like we should have
seen a long vest that we track like that.
We should eat Vienna sausages on camera.
You're fucking sicko.
You just want to eat it.
Dude, you want to have a reason to eat it.
He just wants to be in a sausage.
Sick of.
I was just trying to give me, you know, if that's a punishment,
actually like you.
You know there are factories here?
Have you been passed it by it before?
No.
Where is it?
Yeah.
What fuck your step?
It's not that.
It's not that far away from the house.
It's like in bridgeboard or something like that.
Yeah.
I saw this like a, like a fair life thing.
over here, like in, like, West Loop.
I don't know if it's the factory
or if it's like some, like, packaging center.
But they got that big Morton Salt building.
Oh, yeah.
I'm assuming solid's made here.
I think it used to be.
Is it still an active thing?
Or is it like it used to be more than salt?
I have no idea.
I don't know.
Zero clue.
I'm still on.
You just want Evian and Sasha's on camera?
No, I'm just, I was just trying to think of a punishment
that would be easy for me.
You know what I'm saying?
Easy. No.
that's not a punishment then you're you're watering it down what do you mean what are you doing i'm trying to
give a fight no let's do a lot of challenge man that's what we people want to see it's not gonna kill you
it might it actually did kill someone from my hometown specifically
skill issue bro
you know man on the producer corner what a hot take for every team is complete be soles what
we talk about on today's producer corner okay today we are going to build the worst day possible
using only minor inconvenience from the moment you wake up hell even how you wake up to the end of
the day what would be the most annoying ass day to y'all we're going to start with how you wake up
yeah i think there's nothing more annoying to wake up other than no yeah the most annoying way to
wake up is by cars honking or like drills and construction happening around your house
The worst way.
You wake up mad aggravating.
Construction on top of your building
wakes you up 30 minutes before your alarm
normally go off and you're still in REM sleep.
So it just fucks your day up by a little bit.
Yeah.
You don't think just being,
like missing your alarms, like mad annoying?
Nah, because I think you can bounce back.
I think you have like a good amount of like adrenaline
waking up from that.
At least you get more sleep in that scenario.
Yeah.
Now you're annoyed and more tired
because you get walking up outside your natural sleep patterns.
Yeah.
And it's by something that's like completely out of your control,
you know?
Okay.
So I think that's the worst way to work.
We're awake up day.
You have to go somewhere
Cars out of gas.
You said that you were going to get gas
in the morning and now it's morning.
Can I make it worse?
You have to get gas.
And now you late.
Can I make it worse?
The only way to work you pop a tire?
Is that minor?
I feel like that that's a pretty big
inconvenience.
Okay.
Let's go back a little bit.
You forget to charge your phone overnight.
Ooh.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That compromises your whole entire day.
It changes how you move.
You're right.
Yeah.
you're right yeah i was gonna say either that or like you're going so you'd like forget your headphones
or something like that yeah yeah yeah that sucks the spilling something on yourself is that minor or
or two major i do that's why would that be too major that's minor it's because like if you get a stain on
your shirt then that's like pretty major like it's super not major really he just hates it's not
major at all it's major to him like it's fucked up your whole day before you got more shirts
that's not major at all it might but like if you're late if you're late if you're late if you're
If you're late and you're drinking something and like you spill something, you don't have enough time to go back and change.
So you leave the house, you spit water in your shirt.
So you get to work and you look at the TV and CNN is saying that they nuke San Francisco.
What the fuck?
Minors start doing that bad way.
Oh, and then right after that, fuck, man.
Try to get your mind off of the news.
Let me just go on my little app.
on my fantasy team, oh my fucking God, someone's out.
And a couple of my star players are on fucking bye this week.
Fucking sucks.
Now you're scrambling, rummaging, trying to make last minute trace to survive
for the next two weeks.
That's way worse.
Then it's worse.
Now, do you see my counter?
Cair trade?
No, I didn't see it.
I'll look at it.
It's not even good.
I bet it's not good because he's dying right now.
Nah, he said some bullshit, bro.
No, no, pull it up.
No, he said some bullshit, bro.
Now he's fin of inconvenience to you right now.
On the way, right?
You've had this whole morning that's awful.
You go to get lunch.
Line is long.
You go to Chipotle.
Come out.
Drop it.
Bro, that's what I did.
That's what I did.
I know.
I'm pulling my inspiration for real life.
Let me see what's do the waste man sent me.
Waste man.
You know how embarrassing it was, right?
Just dropped my whole Chipotle bag.
And it was front of a lady, too.
She was like, letting me cross the street.
And as it drops, she said, I said, fuck, bro.
Give me one reason why I should put hands on you on.
What did he do?
What did he said?
He offered, so at first I offered Cortland Sutton and T.J.N. and Hockinson for Kelsey.
And he gave me Denzel Boston for J.S.N.
I don't think I was being outlanders.
You were kind of crazy, but he dragged out there.
completely worthless trade.
That's like, I guess I get Cortland said.
He has no receivers.
Hey, ask for what I needed.
Give me 10th and please.
No, man.
You're so, okay.
You're disgusting.
All right.
Drop your food at lunch.
You get home.
TV's back on.
LeBron James has been medically forced to retire.
Whoa.
That's one of the worst tastes on my life.
I was thinking just back up.
You try to put your keys in.
You keep dropping your keys.
That works too.
As opposed to LeBron medically retiring.
Now the battery to your car keys is dead too.
Oh, no, that's major.
That's too major, I think.
He's dropping ship for no reason.
Now somebody has hacked into open AI
and used the artificial intelligence
that they have behind a paywall
that nobody's seen before.
That's Lockmaneval, actually,
to create a formula for a poison
and they successfully infiltrated it
into the American water supply
triggering a global emergency
that might send us into a
just never-ending pandemic of sorts
that all of our lives
are materially impacted
in a way that we don't remember what it's like
to have known in a world
before the water supply was ruined.
Again.
Then your shoes and thud.
Did you just unveil your evil genius plan?
And then you trip because your shoes untied.
And you dig it's a little worse.
And then you step on a Lego.
Oh.
That would suck.
Well, then you just might be dead.
All right, so that's a terrible day.
Yeah.
That's a bad day.
Yeah.
Is there anything like going to sleep that can really mess up your day even more?
You charge is broken.
It starts.
It's just two critical and it goes on and off all night and it doesn't really charge.
And you hear do-to-to-to-tut as it goes on an awful night.
Yeah.
Who would annoy me before going to bed?
Bubble guts, I guess.
I don't know.
Bubble guts right before bed.
It's on the toilet.
That caps a lot of.
we get that caps it off
there you go
that do be the worst man
you can't just get out
to your sister will want to run
multiple
tricks required
oh okay
you're out of toilet paper
and you're out of toilet paper
that's another one
and you live alone
just like please
I'll say it might be better if you live
bubble goods
I mean you can just get up and go
wherever you need to
there's nobody else
You're all of your.
You're desecrated.
Yeah.
It's just me.
Yeah, but is that not uncomfortable still?
Where are you going to go?
You got a toilet paper.
I can go, do I have my phone?
You sure.
Okay, then like, if it's truly like...
It's at 4% though.
Then you try to doork that toilet paper and you don't know what it's going to come.
Yo, I'll be horrified about the dasher.
This is doing it.
So you just have to open and close the door.
I'm actually you're full of shit
What are you to do?
What are you to do?
For a toilet for an hour?
Wait for the toilet paper to arrive?
There's nothing.
There's no paper towels.
I'm out of everything.
Everything.
What are you thinking of using?
A fucking tissue.
What reusable item?
A paper towel.
No paper towel is too close.
Yeah, that's too close.
You need a t-shirt or something or a good towel.
A t-shirt.
Just hop in a shower, man, at that point.
Honestly.
Honestly.
Up in the shower.
That sounds kind of kind of.
gross though.
Getting the shower
and just chill and
what's better?
What's the alternative?
No, that's the problem.
Yeah.
That is kind of the play, though.
It has to be, but it's gross.
That sucks.
You're a gross situation.
But it would
it would be tough because, like, the hot.
Oh, now it's hot and shitty.
Damn.
You have just like,
Boy, we've already infiltrated
the water supply
So you can't get
It's already poisonous
You can't get in the shower
We've already
We've already decided this part of the day
Oh my God
So you gotta get a fucking t-shirts
I guess so
You gotta make a rag somehow
Get an old t-shirt, cut it up
You got rags
When they're old college shirts
Yeah, that'll do
Well, we're gonna throw it away
In the trash can
What do you talk about?
Oh, your neighbor comes out of
I'm going to stink up.
And your neighbor says, what's that?
Are they going in my trash bag?
He's a weird neighbor.
Suspicious.
Another minding convenience.
A weird neighbor.
That digs through your trash and asks questions.
At that point, I just wouldn't care about what they think.
Because you're just too weird.
So it's like, I'm fine.
If you want to go through my trash, so be it.
You can do it.
But I had to do it.
I had to do.
Sounds like you dealt with a weird neighbor before.
I don't think I've ever had a weird neighbor.
I don't think I've never had a like a crazy neighbor or anything like that.
I've had some weird neighbors.
Yeah, I've had some weirdest shit your neighbor's done.
I moved into an apartment in L.A.
in the first day he tried to get me to join a class action lawsuit against the owners of the building.
He had major beef.
He did because they weren't fixing repairs and shit in time.
And he was like he was like herning out.
It was like fucking I'm not going to sue the landlord.
I just got here two years ago.
Even if I was here for a year,
I'm not suing the landlord with you.
I don't care that much.
It was like they wouldn't fix a leak in the garage
and shit like that.
And I literally,
maybe it's like my third day there.
I just moved there.
And he invited us out to dinner
to get to know us.
And he asked me to join a class action lawsuit
and I had moved in less than three days earlier.
He asked us over dinner.
Yes.
He was trying to groom you guys.
I'm like,
you're crazy.
I was like,
you're fucking strange.
Why would I,
that's so stupid to ask me this.
I just got here.
What the hell?
I have 12 months of lease left.
You think I want to pick a fight?
A legal battle.
You're an idiot.
That's insane.
I can't say what my neighbor did on FCC airways.
Okay.
Really?
Is that crazy?
We're also not on FCC airway.
Are we?
Of course not.
Yeah, we're not.
We're not on airwaves.
Exactly.
Can't say it.
Okay, fair enough.
All right.
Text it.
I'm curious.
If you still hear, comment, what should think so his neighbor did?
And that's the end of producer corner.
Let us think you did.
We're off to TikTok time.
Woo.
Welcome to TikTok time.
today per usual we are going to begin with a draft today the three of us will be drafting the most
annoying teams possible to play against out of current teams in the NBA so any player you want
that's currently active a team of five players that you think would be frustrating to root against
if your team is playing them so for whatever reason that might be annoying to you we pick them
draft order is moe me donovan be souls at the end will decide which one of these teams would be
the most annoying to see his team play against okay some easy answers for this one
Yeah, well, to try not to be like, I hate this guy.
He picked Jimmy Butler, so they win.
So to the essence, who was an annoying team to root against?
Love it.
Mo, you're at first.
Anoint team.
Players are just frustrating to play against.
Oh, is his players?
Okay, cool.
Oh, easily.
You got to be Shay.
I, yeah, as a, seeing him rolling to Atlanta and just knowing he's going to get to the
lot, like 15 times a game, and it's going to be fair.
He's going to manipulate the referees.
He's going to get every fucking shot.
He's going to, even if he's nominalized, he's going to hit every single clutch shot.
It's going to be annoying because I can't even, like, get the hate off correctly.
That's a fair pick.
I'm going to fall into, like, the same stupid narratives.
Now I'm going to be agreeing with Underdog Fantasy tweets.
Yuck!
I know.
He's just too good, man.
That's a good pick.
I'm a stick with a Canadian.
Give me Dylan Brooks at my small Ford for annoying players to play against.
Okay.
That would suck having a root against this guy for seven games,
and he's frustrating me picking on my best player
trying to make him fight him
because he knows that's his best asset
is getting under skin and rage baiting.
But you know, like,
he's going to have some games where he might have a two for seven night.
And then you'll be happy.
That makes it more annoying when he keeps talking.
It's like, get this.
Pull him out of LeBron's face.
He has a two for seven night,
but he act like he's 10 for 15.
Exactly.
He act like he's so confident.
I can't do with it.
I feel like I'm getting a steel here.
At my center, put Wemby.
All right, sure.
Having somebody who just,
who's just 7-5,
even if you have a really good defensive center,
they just throw it up.
Yeah, it's kind of annoying because you're good.
But also, I'm going to be admiring him
because I enjoy watching him, so it's not that annoying.
Yeah, have a title on the line.
See what happens.
It's tough, man.
Every time, like, there's so many times
but sometimes Wembe just does stuff,
you know, man, we just can't do anything about it.
Yeah, you're picking.
So, yeah, so Wembe at the center,
at my point guard,
my point guard
Luca
Luca
Luca has the
He's picking good players
Luca has the ability
to go crazy
at any moment
and even if you feel
like you have just the best defense
he's going to be
taking threes from everywhere
and at the same time
he's going to be complaining
nonstop
always yelling at the refs
is going to get annoying
after a certain while
those two are the big bookends
of my annoying team
I'm going to build the ultimate
annoying duo
with Dylan Brooks
I'm picking another guy
with football shoulders.
Give me Ludo as shooting guard.
For all 48 minutes,
you're just gonna be scared.
He's gonna hurt your guy.
You got Dylan Brooks in your guy's face,
yelling at him.
Lou Dork comes from the top, bro.
You're scared for your star safety.
Somebody get these linebackers out of here.
Yeah.
Okay.
That's a great pick.
Okay.
Sleeper pick at my small Ford.
If I was also like playing on the court too,
I'd fucking hate to play against this guy,
Josh Hart.
Brad.
Just fucking try hard, bro.
trying to grab all the fucking rebounds
from fucking racing down the goddamn court
you can leave him wide open because he can't shoot
but somehow is going to figure out a way to be effective
sneak attack another offensive rebound
fuck yeah he's mad annoying
and to loop around
double pick
um
slick
yo if I make the playoffs
I ain't a lie
one of the last teams I don't want to play is
Orlando magic it got to be pablo
bro you walk into the playoffs thinking shit is mad
sweet and then all of a sudden
boom 40 piece boom 45 boom 17 points three for 11 from that's what I'm saying you just wait you just wait till the next day
he'll be all right he's not annoying but still just like you never know what version you're gonna get it's
unpredictable uh all you don't got to argue with the palo ban caroly performance all you got to do is
wait another shit is coming i can't take that i can't take that speaking of a guy you guys
all drafted stars of the point guard that are hard to deal with so they're annoying you let me pick
the actual most annoying star to deal with jaylon brunson he's gonna just get buckets on you
looking that head back, drawing those fouls, just being unstoppable,
despite you being like, my defender is bigger, faster, stronger, more agile,
he should stop him.
Never will.
Not once.
It's not going to happen.
Let's see.
Along those same lines of always having somebody that is bigger, stronger, faster,
at my two, give me T.J. McConnell.
Oh, he's annoying.
When T.J. McConnell gets going, you're like, bro, this is just some regular white man.
How is he putting up 30?
because he's nice.
Yeah.
Because T.J. McConnell knows all the angles.
T.J. McConnell has been there, done that,
and will continue to do it.
He is definitely annoying.
Good pick.
Sike.
It's done, man.
Let's see.
I need a three and I need a four.
In terms of mad annoying,
let's see.
Yannis can get annoying
because he just be running over people.
Yeah, that's annoying.
Yeah.
That's a good pick.
That's that's hard and honestly I might just be picking an all-star team.
All right.
It's a chance.
You got honest?
Sure.
I'm glad you did that.
Give me Draymond green at Power Forward.
The most annoying motherfucker that root against all the planet.
The steel of the fourth round.
Damn.
He started thinking about Power for us.
I was like, please don't think further.
Please don't think further.
I had an item earlier about if this was two years ago, maybe.
He might have lost a step or two.
He hasn't lost an annoying step.
I promise you that.
He can still frustrate him.
motherfucker, easy.
Okay.
At my two, he's annoying because
I have to admit he's kind of good, but I don't want to
believe he's good. And he'll just like,
fuck around and he hit a game. What are you on a random Wednesday night?
Josh Giddy.
I'm knowing his fucking shit, bro.
I thought you were going to say Bradford-Pershamsky.
No.
Now, B-Podd is, eh, that's fair.
His, it's other things like people view him annoying.
His actual game's good. He's good.
But giddy, there's like things in his game where you can look at him, be like, oh, he's not good.
How, like, how can he like play winning basketball?
Then you look at his stats, 39% from three.
Motherfuck how.
So he's annoying because he's slick good.
And then to round things out, I can go small here and roll out pile up my five and fall on.
But I don't want to, I don't want to cheat this out.
Um, man.
Let me look at the standings.
I ain't go lie.
seeing this guy just continuously get opportunities and just swoosh his way into
$20 million contracts.
Brazing is mad at no way.
How do people keep on believing in you,
bro?
You fooled me last year.
You fooled the whole Lakers or the Warriors front office and give you $20 million a year just to
not play basketball,
just to be a thought.
Madenoy.
Damn.
Last player on my list.
I will go with an annoying motherfucker to watch grab rebounds over your team,
Stephen Adams.
That's an annoying guy to watch
muscle it through your team. It's all he does.
And he's going to do it every time.
Yeah, and you can do about it. You can't game plan for it.
Totally like that. He's got to grab his boards.
He's going to be down. Yeah. Fair.
The slide Yon is to the three.
Okay.
Put Wembe at the four.
Damn.
We're going to go bare at the five.
Okay. Okay.
Having somebody who cannot catch the ball
consistently and is very, it looks very uncoordinated offensively.
And then on the other side, hold down to defense, grab all the rebounds, get all the blocks.
And he's like, bro, like, we should be able to play him off the floor.
That's what they keep telling us.
They keep telling me that I can play Gobert off the floor and then continuously seeing him
just have one crazy play every playoff series that's going to break your heart.
He's on that list.
Bears.
I just realized your team is all people who are not from here.
Pretty much except for T.J.
He was a type of frustrates?
Yeah, I know.
All right.
Be so who has the most annoying team?
I'm gonna go, Isaac.
He just has the most players of like,
why do you play basketball?
Yeah.
Like, what makes you think like this?
Dorkman.
But also, they're gonna be acting like they're up the whole game.
Even though they're like down by 15.
Dude, having Dwart.
Brooks and Draymond is a fucking death wish violence.
Who the fuck wants to play offense against that?
I'm like certainly going to injure Luca.
Oh my God, bro.
Like right in stone, he's done.
You got the absurd strength of Stephen Adams and then Jalen Bruns's big head too, just swooshing all over the place.
It's hard to deal with the head.
Real noggin on him.
Yeah.
Is he, you have a top five?
Top five big head and NBA history?
Who may be history, right?
I don't know.
Jamir Nelson had a nagging, man.
Off the top of my head, I'm not sure.
We're like some of the best big headish players in history.
Next thing we're going to do today, we are going to see how fast we can recognize NBA photos.
Beesoles will show us a series of pictures with a series of zoom levels.
It will go hard, medium, easy.
First person to recognize that photo dings their bell.
If you dig it on the first picture, which is the most zoomed in hard, you get three points.
Second level, you get two points.
Third level, you get one point.
And after 10 rounds, we've got to see.
Who's the best at identifying photos?
All right.
Let's do it.
All right.
Any prediction for who's going to win?
Isaac, because he has glasses.
Fairs.
That means I have worse glasses.
Worse as eyesight.
So maybe they're a competitive advantage, not needing glasses.
We'll see.
We'll see.
I have contacts.
Oh, you do.
You're a fraud.
Never mind.
Mo wins.
All right.
First picture.
Okay.
That looks like a football jersey.
It does.
Who ring their bell?
I do.
Okay.
Is this?
Is this?
Duncan on John Collins.
Damn it.
I got it right after you dinged.
You are correct.
Damn it.
I knew it was something Utah Jazz room.
Yeah, good shit.
Good shit.
Damn, three points off-rip for Donovan.
Off rip.
Okay.
Next picture.
That's a B-Pod's his mouth wide the fuck open.
But is there any circumstances that matters?
He might be choking out someone.
All right.
He might be watching Dremont choke out Rudy O'Bare.
Maybe.
But I know it's B-Pots for sure.
Mo is correct.
It's B-Pots.
trying to be like Steph Curry.
Oh, a couple days ago.
He's copying Steph Curry's mannerisms.
Yeah.
People who really, so many players do that,
Brett's, man, funny.
Dude, no, he does it crazy.
That was insane.
The way he was dangling his arms?
Really?
Whoa.
Yeah.
I mean, you listen, you pick up your mannerisms that your people are around.
He's trying to learn how to be the best.
It's like you start using your girlfriend's lingo.
Bro, he can't do nothing.
What have you picked up?
I can't think on top of my head, but I'm sure there is something.
I think I picked up a laugh from, Brie.
He laughed the same now.
Damn.
All right.
Next picture.
Okay, it's a tie.
Oh, I know what this is, but I don't know who.
Is this LeBron James' Draft Night Suit 2003?
That boy, white.
That's a white boy?
Yeah.
Damn.
He also did.
I don't think he wore a tie.
And if it did, it was all white.
Oh, it was all white.
You're right.
Damn it.
This looks like a coach.
Maybe it's like a Brad Stevens.
Damn.
I can zoom out if y'all want to give up.
Next round.
Yeah.
Our next level.
Yeah.
Okay.
Am I out until they guess?
Oh, that's easy.
You got it?
That's Keene Wagler.
Yes, this is
Ian Wagler.
Boom.
See, he wasn't white.
He let me astray.
Not LeBron.
I mean, he can't say he's not white.
Yes, I can.
Yes, I can.
He's white, too.
What do you mean?
Both.
Both.
Okay.
Next player.
Oh, what is happening here?
Mo again?
Yeah, is that Kevin Garnett?
Is he like playing defense get someone?
No, no.
Maybe that's Kevin Garnett.
You are correct.
He is killing the same guy.
Jesus Christ.
Okay, just, all right?
He's so crazy, bro?
For something like this, do you only want us to guess the player or is it,
some of the other things we can identify?
Some of them are moments, but most of them are just players.
Okay, okay.
You'll let us know when it's good enough?
Yeah, yeah, okay.
Okay.
Next.
I don't know who the fuck this is.
Oh, 54.
I ain't, I have no idea who this is.
I can't remember.
54 old.
I got to see one more zoom out.
I'm not going to get myself out of this.
This is, it is an older one.
OD washed guy.
I say 2013 or something.
Yeah.
Because the way that the jersey looks, it looks like a, like the old like Adidas jerseys.
It's going to be someone super watch.
Yeah.
I don't know who's an old wash warrior.
Oh my goodness.
Y'all going to need to zoom out.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm not going to risk it.
Okay.
Damn.
There is a hit, there's.
Yeah.
So this is 20.
What did I say?
50 seasons.
Oh, 50 seasons.
Of the NBA or of the franchise?
Probably the franchise, right?
Yeah.
I don't know when their 50th season is.
That's not a hit to me.
Who the fuck is 54?
Because if it was NBA, that would be 25 years before.
Like, what, like 2023 was the 75?
Not that old.
I have no guesses.
Most spates, but he ain't wear no fucking 54.
I'm
no clue
All right we gotta go back on the easy round
The easy round
No one got it so far here we go
I just don't because
Tony Snow
No
No no no no
He would have been like a rookie run this time
Who is that
Donovan?
Yeah
I don't know
He's just ringing shit
No because at first I was like
Is this a weird
Like
Dremon type of
type of picture where he's just like
in a random
Jersey
This posture looks different though
I think.
Yeah, it's definitely not dream one.
Yeah, I'm out.
I buzz.
I have no clue.
No.
Brandon Bass?
No.
I'm just saying names.
I don't even know you guys played
for the Warriors or not.
Mo, no guess.
No guess.
I don't know who the fuck this is.
Who could this be?
This is.
Wait, let's give us a more chance.
Nothing's coming to anybody.
Oh, fuck.
Kwame Brown.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Completely.
Blank.
But I didn't even know who's on the Warriors.
Completely blank.
Damn.
Yeah.
Just ringing shit.
He's done it for a love the game.
I thought I broke it for a second.
I had to make sure it.
It was working.
Okay.
Damn, I got no points in this, bitch.
Damn.
Next round.
Hey, close your mouth, bro.
Whose teeth?
Uh,
you recognize those teeth?
No way.
I don't think I do, but is it Derek Rose?
It is not there grows.
Damn.
When does he ever open his mouth like that?
He looks somewhat like skin or whatever.
Okay.
So we're like teeth shaping.
I'm like getting off of teeth.
Yeah, just no chance.
You got to zoom out for me.
You got to give us one to work with.
Oh, good.
That looks like Miami.
I'm so confused.
It looks like Anthony Edward.
You can't.
You already went.
It does look at Miami.
I'm very confused here.
Damn.
Miami, not really.
No real facial hair there.
He's got an earring.
It's fucking Josh Richardson.
Yo, Loki, it looks like a 2K picture.
I don't think it is Miami.
You guys don't be boxed.
Mo, do you know who is?
it is you just can't guess.
I guess I can't guess.
Yeah, until we go.
It looks like Michael, looks like Anthony Edwards.
Fuck no.
Just ring it.
Let me get my guessing.
Hurry up, man.
Nah, you sit down.
Let's box him out.
Yeah.
No, right.
You're just sitting down chatting.
Hurry up.
I guess we got to go to easy round.
I don't know.
Go one more.
Okay.
Is this Dwayne Wade?
No.
No, it is not.
Oh, who is this?
Donovan.
He still has to guess.
Is this Ray Allen?
This is Ray Allen.
It's a crazy picture.
Damn.
I should have got Ray Allen.
We're back on the board.
Did you know it was Ray Allen?
Yeah.
That's crazy.
I thought Ray Allen or Shane Badier.
I thought it was the heat.
I thought it was misidentifying the jersey.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
Next.
This one is a moment.
Okay.
This is Tyreys Halliburton choking after beating the New York Knicks.
Or think he beat them.
He just before he actually the game was over.
you are on the board with this way
yeah I got three points
finally I get some points
yeah
she Donovan would have
Donovan probably knew it but he didn't want to say it out loud
Did you know it?
Yeah he probably had to give me the points
Just because he heard it hurt his heart
To say words in this moment
Wow
Okay
Some moon's never heal
Like money doesn't always
Make up for the trauma you experienced
That's real
You can't money spread your way out of this pain
This guy
All right this next one is just a player
Okay
Who rang?
I did.
Okay.
I'm an idiot because my brain with the Dionne Sanders.
I froze up and like wrong show.
I'm fucked.
I don't know.
Is this definitely an old picture?
This is Dennis Robin.
It is not Dennis Robin.
Yeah, I don't know.
Not a bad guess, man.
Not a bad guess.
I got no clue.
He has a Jesus piece on.
Zero clue.
Is that a Jesus piece?
I'd assume.
It's not.
It looks like a face.
I thought it was too.
Yeah, it looks like.
I like the shape.
Like Virgil Mary or something.
Yeah.
Now this is either somebody
There's either somebody on vacation or
Or
They could be in a music video somewhere.
And I know that Kauai was in the...
Too sexy.
Yeah, he was in the two sexy one.
This is too old though, I think.
But like in my mind, I was thinking
Was there an NBA player that was in the
the walkie-talkie video?
No.
I don't remember.
Just Drake,
the Migos, I think.
What if Isaac's lying?
I could be wrong.
That's for sure.
Not lying,
but I could be wrong.
Maybe Kwise isn't it?
Oh.
Is this LeBron?
From the salsa commercial?
Oh.
It's not.
No.
I thought he got it.
Damn.
I believe in you.
Yeah, I got no clue,
but I'm not,
I'm guessing.
Okay.
Go to medium.
Okay, here we go.
Partying.
We gotta let you go, don't we?
You just box us out, take your time.
Nah, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna kill that.
I still don't know.
I still have no clue.
It's gotta be a layup.
On the easy?
Yeah.
Well, we can't, we can't bust it.
You go either way.
Fuck.
Is this wilt?
Yes, this is Will.
Boom, okay.
That makes sense.
Yeah.
Damn.
It's a very 70 shirt.
Did you have that shit on?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He'd get it off.
Who's that?
Is that the owner of his teams?
I honestly don't know.
I just...
Who is this man?
Some cracked-out white man.
What is he got out here?
We'll get...
Look at the size of him.
They all were.
Yeah.
Well, we'll give it away on this angle.
Uh, the hands are fucking massive, bro.
He was an insane human being, yeah.
Okay, one point from O.
Okay, there you go.
All right.
Next round.
What the fuck am I looking at right now?
What does you show?
Is this somebody's hands?
This can be anything.
It's like a hamster.
There is a name that pops in my mind, but this looks like nonsense.
So let's go to medium.
Is it a moment or?
It's a moment.
It's a moment.
All right.
So to win, I have to guess it here.
I have to get it to get the next two on hard to win.
Me too, but I'm not going to win.
So I'm cool going to the next one.
What is going on here?
It's a white hand.
It looks some of those pictures.
I do have a name.
I obviously as a coach.
I'm going to start his pull.
Just call me.
Just pull.
Is this Phil Jackson?
No.
Damn it.
He crosses his arms a lot.
It looks like a hand
that arms crossed,
one's out.
I'm not going to guess it.
Like, I clearly see a hand,
but then I see like a pig
next to it.
Like on his hand, yeah.
It's kind of like
Jeff Van Gundy-ish.
That means it could be any coach ever.
I don't know what this is, man.
All right.
Let's go medium.
Okay.
What am I looking at right here?
This is Zach Levine.
in the dunk contest.
You are.
Correct.
Oh.
Whoa.
What the fuck?
That was his hand on the bottom?
Yeah.
How did you know that?
There was a little bit of blue in that I saw.
You knew that was a sock?
A sock.
Oh, I see.
Yeah.
It looks like his leg.
That's a shadow of his hand.
Okay.
I see.
Bro, I thought that was an armor looking at.
No, it's a clear leg.
I see now.
I can tell that.
Anything.
He's going to East Bay. He's going through the legs.
Yeah, I see. No, that's crazy. I had no idea that I was like.
Whoa, bro.
Good one. Good snipe.
All right. Last one.
Who did it? I did. This is
this is Bron on the Lakers.
Wrong.
Wrong.
Is this Kobe when he had a goatee?
No.
Damn. Damn.
Dang.
Definitely chains in a Laker jersey, right?
Yeah.
Looks like it.
I don't know. I got to go next one.
Bro, stop line, that's brown.
It's not brown.
It's not brown.
I have no idea.
Okay.
You're on a medium?
Yeah.
Is it late?
Oh,
freaky Z.
Freaky Z.
The color line cooked us.
Who got it first?
Is it well?
Yeah.
I don't get a replay.
I couldn't even ding.
That's so funny.
Freaky Z.
And you should know, that's the picture they say it looks like you.
You should have known.
It looks nothing like me, Mo.
This picture's how late.
Ew.
That's the one they say it looks like Mo.
It doesn't.
You're trying to get that off.
That's not working.
They say it.
No, they do say it.
They do say it.
I never look like Z one day in my life.
That's not true.
That's not true.
There's been some days of your life.
Nope.
There's been a couple.
Never woke up and be like, I'm feeling like Latif.
Not.
Never not once.
Who's Latif?
That's like his middle name.
What?
See, he knows Z.
He clearly looks like he.
He has some just bonds to him
that only he can understand.
No.
That's insane.
All right, so Moe ran away with it.
Yeah, good job.
As expected.
Man, no remote continues to win these games.
I've never been in the allegations.
Next thing we're going to do, we're going to do some Cooper Flag discourse.
I'm going to show you five NBA players.
We have to decide if for this season we think they will be better or worse than Cooper
Flagg.
Okay.
Five level game, or actually, will Cooper Flag be better than these players?
Can they clear this level?
Oh, yeah.
So level one, will Cooper Flag be better than Palo Ban Carroll?
I think he already was last season.
Ooh.
Yeah.
That is interesting.
And it is correct.
I think he will be better than Palo this year.
Yeah.
Was there any part of you that feels nervous about that?
What does Paula do better than Cooper Flag?
He doesn't...
He's bigger.
He does have more mass.
You're right.
You're right.
Ways more?
He probably can bench more, too.
Definitely can.
He might be able to squat more.
He has a little.
trunks on them. Definitely to squat more.
Yeah. He has more hang time in terms of like hair.
Oh, okay. I thought you were saying hops. I'm like hell no.
Hops? I don't know. I'm giving that the coop.
Listen, you give Cooper a couple months.
He can get that head time? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. You want to see my braids?
Yeah. Why not? No, man. Don't go the B pods.
Don't do it. No, man. He's don't. You got to go further.
Further. Dreads? Dreads.
Nice. Yeah. Level two. O. G. Ananoby.
the best role player in the league
people say he's better than some all-stars
I think he's better
he's better to me I think he's
he's better to me I think OG might be the better
shooter and defender but there's
too many other like random nuance things
yeah that are like star qualities
that oh you just I'm not gonna say
it doesn't have but it's just a different level
you can say it doesn't have him yeah it's not that mean to OG
to say he is not the ball handle the Cooper flag is
yeah he doesn't have the on ball chops
playmaking skills not the rebound
All right, you can stop.
You can't say too much.
You can relax.
You look like in this specific.
Just say, keep it fucking moving.
All right, right, I'll keep it.
Be polite, bro.
Be polite, please.
Level three, 42-year-old
LeBron James.
Yeah.
Yeah, he's going to be better than Brom.
Yeah.
Pretty easily, man.
It'd be kind of surprising
if LeBron was still better than
who I think will be an all-star
age 42.
Yeah.
If the Bronn's an all-star,
I imagine he'd be one of the worst ones.
Yeah, the only subcategory I think LeBron has over him is probably passing.
But that's it.
Because I think Cooper Fly can be in all-MBA talent this year.
This year.
So I'm going to stamp it.
I think he will be better than Bronn this firmly.
Level four, Jalen Brown.
See, that's hard.
Jalen Brown, what, 17th best player in the world?
Yeah, that's a high bar to clear.
But if you think he's all-M-B-A, 15 players make all-M-B-A.
A couple of them are going to miss it.
A couple are going to miss it.
Yeah.
That's like all NBA's second team worthy.
And it's position list now.
Yeah.
That means you really think he's a top 15 player this year.
Every year we do have like some random teams specifically in the West to jump out and make the playoffs.
And that's usually off the back of a star studded player.
Last year we've seen it with Wembe.
Obviously Cooper Flag is not Wembe, but he's so fucking good.
And I think this roster's Taylor made for him too.
Taylor made.
See, I don't know about that
But that might honestly work to his advantage
To get a nod like that
So I think Cooper Flyer can be all NBA
But I think even by the end of the season
We still might have that other leap to go
Where we'd like firmly stamp you
Will it be better than Jaylon Brown
I'm gonna say no
I'm gonna say no I think he'll be same level of pair
I don't know if it'll be better
I don't think it'll be better
That's a hard leap
Wow
Yeah
still is what you think.
I think Jalen Brown's gonna be better still.
Everyone's a coward than this bitch.
Nobody's a real.
You believe this.
Nobody's a real flaghead, I see.
But I gotta be the only flaghead in the chat.
Yes, he's better than Jailan Brown.
Stamp it.
I don't believe it.
Level five would have been Kauai Leonard.
Yeah.
If he was better than Kauai, that's because Kauai fell off, I think.
Yeah, probably.
It's more likely.
I don't think Kup's gonna be a top 10 player this year,
so it would have to be because Kauai falls off.
But why would he at this point?
What else?
He old?
Not that old.
He's getting young, man.
He's exploring things.
He's got accessories on, you know?
He's moving different.
That's how you know is cooked.
Start putting on random shit.
That's the Cooper flag loses at Jalen Brown.
Fair enough.
Next thing we're going to do, I'm going to show you guys.
Three NBA facts, you have to decide which one is a lie.
You two as well as B- Souls will be guessing which facts I'm trying to fool you with.
I made up one, got two from the internet.
See if you guys know ball.
Okay.
So first up,
we have Tyler here was the first white guard to go one and done in college before entering the NBA.
Pistons Hall of Famer Dave Bing became the mayor of Detroit and Shaq finished a respectable six place in the Nathan's hot dog eating contest in 2009.
Dave Bing was a mayor Detroit.
I know that's a, that's for sure real.
We're spotting to lie, right?
Yep.
Yep.
I'm going to say Shaq finished sixth place.
I feel like over the question.
course of a day, Shack can eat a lot.
But that hot dog eating
contest, that's 10 minutes. That's where
that's prime time. You really have to train for it.
I don't think Shack. You separate the man from the boys.
Yeah. I don't know, but that feels like
really shack coded though. No, I think
everything Shack could. He does it all.
Yeah. I don't think that you can
just walk into
the hot dog eating contest and get six plates.
But really think about it, though, too.
You treat competitive eating like a joke
and it's not supposed to be like that.
He's not saying watch your fucking mouth
And respect to be like that
I'm gonna say the Shaq thing
I think we just kind of
Pass over the Tyler Hero one
He's the first white guard to go one and done
I don't believe that
Can we like yeah I really think
Who are the top end of white guards
That come out of the NBA draft for real
Like let's really think about it
If he is
By Cooper flag is not a white guard
Step it up
Yeah
Yeah wait
white that one seems so absurd that i would believe it and i think that the shack one is there to
throw us off i don't think shack did that wait tyler was the first white guard to go one and done in college
but i've been to reach separate he die the thing is tally here was older than reed shepherd
yeah quite a lot but a lot of the white guards before like the one and duns are that's we're doing that
what 07 oh 8 really maybe i'd like the start of the of the 2010s
where we're going i guess i'll go little shack bro i'm saying shack you don't think
shack's need her competitively no you're correct i mean that completely shacks never done the hot
dog eating contest i'm saying man apparently tally hero was the first white guard got that from
reddick no don't don't you step to to con the out and think that you you could just walk in here
and eat with the best of them, that's not you.
That's not you.
Do you think Shaq respects dominance,
or you think if I showed him this,
he'd be like, I can definitely do that.
Of course he would think that he would do it.
He would get up there and get embarrassed.
He would get washed in a hot dog eating contest.
You're not like that, dude.
You're not like that, dude.
It's a different game.
It's a different game.
Yeah, basically, think it's easy.
It's not.
It's not.
And no, the little dudes are the ones who dominate that game.
Yeah.
Do you need room for your stomach to expand?
I think you can't have a lot of fat on it.
I look you on a 1v1 B cells when it comes to that.
Eating contest?
Yeah, hot dog eating contests.
Vienna sausages, come on.
I don't want to do Vian sausages.
Stop to eat Vian sausages.
Let's do the hot dogs.
I'm just to get you something to shut you up.
Just give them to you.
Are they called Vienna hot dogs, fruit, fru?
I don't know.
No, there's sausages.
Oh.
I thought there's a type of Chicago hot dog that called Vienna.
Oh, that's a different thing.
Oh, round two.
Jerry West invented the word dunk
Will Chamberlain never filed out of a game
and Tara Rozier's favorite sandwich
contains spaghetti, ranch dressing, and sugar.
The Rozier thing, I definitely can see that being...
Where's he from?
Like, I don't...
Arcissar or...
Yeah, but... No, he's... He's from Ohio, actually.
I think he said this in a GQ interview.
That's a combination I can see...
Yeah.
Which, side, no, why is...
You saw the Terry Rozier GQ interview?
You don't relax. Don't put it on me now.
What do you mean?
You're the one that said it.
Who the fuck am I going to put it on?
You know what fair.
You know a fair.
How did Jerry West invent the word dunk?
It's the same way anybody else would, I guess.
Somebody had to say it.
They were banning Kareem from Duncan in college at the start of his thing.
I don't know if Jerry West was, I don't know the exact overlap.
You don't remember the timeline.
Yeah.
But I must say Jerry West inventing the word dunk.
I think that's, I think that's incorrect.
You think Will Chamberlain never fell out of a game?
You could tell me you did anything.
At this point, sure.
When did the Institute filing out?
Do we know?
That's a fair point, I don't know.
Yeah.
Maybe it's a technicality.
Maybe he filed 10 times a couple of games.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
I believe he's filed six times in a game.
But did he file out?
I don't know.
Fair point.
Honestly, that might be what it is,
because you guys are right, Jerry West did not invent the word dunk.
I made that up.
But you're right.
I bet they didn't have fouling out in certain moments.
That has to be correct.
He played 48 minutes a night
How do you not foul six times?
Yeah.
Yeah.
What did they invent fouling?
Was he just punching people?
True.
Nobody stopped him.
It's great gut checks.
I think he punched someone on the court for O'O for him.
I'm sure he did.
So to Kareem.
And he like broke his nose.
Oh, that might be Kareem.
Yeah, Karim.
He never filed out in a playoff game.
The most he had, he had five.
He had five fouls 14 times.
Maybe he's just disciplined.
In the playoffs, at least.
Guys disciplined.
All right.
Okay, next.
Next round.
The New Orleans Jazz drafted a woman in 1977.
Duane Wade is afraid of birds.
And Gilbert Arenas was born with a third nipple located just below his armpits.
Yeah, it got to be Gilbert Arenas because I feel like the whole world would have known about that.
That does happen sometimes.
It got to be Gilbert.
A third nipple?
That happens?
That actually does happen.
Do you know anyone with a third nipple?
I've seen that happen on the internet.
I don't know anybody because I'm also not walking around like, hey, you got a third nipple.
I don't think people are just broadcasting it, but that does happen, like, sort of frequent.
I feel like I would have heard about Gilbert Arena's having a third nipple, bro.
Unlike, I seen it with a shirt off.
He don't have no third nipple, man.
Well, what happens, they're not like exactly fully formed.
They're like kind of discreet.
It almost looks like a big mole.
I'm not even, I'm not joking.
You're trying to lead you a straight.
This does happen.
No, yeah.
I have seen.
No, I know what happened.
And they're like halfway size, like.
I know the jazz.
Like, Donovan could have one, you would never know.
Yeah.
The jazz, you tell me, anything happened in the 70s.
I believe.
The boys is on crack.
Which and on crack, that's a crazy combination.
Just drafting people that can't play in the league.
They could have drafted a tiger.
So be it.
So be it.
We're not really questioning the D-Wade one, huh?
That's kind of normal.
A lot of players are scared of birds.
Yeah.
Really?
Yeah.
A lot of people.
NBA players are predispositioning being scared of birds.
Okay.
Yeah.
Traon's scared of birds too.
You would know.
He's not the first one.
When they start, like, flying around, yeah, I can see it.
Could you, like, be scared at words in your life?
Could I be scared of birds?
Yeah.
I'm not.
I guess, like, I, theoretically, I'm, theoretically, I could.
I could.
You were a dog, like, I'm a magician.
Have you ever, like, flinched?
Surprise.
Flinch?
I mean, yeah, because birds have flown pretty close.
No, but that's more of, like, you're my person.
He's just scared emotion.
That's the problem.
I'm scared of motion.
There's a bigger issue I hate.
I'm sorry to agree with you.
If Gilbert was born with the third nipple,
we would have heard it by now.
Yeah.
I feel like he said that on like a Vlad interview though or something.
Like a Vlad TV.
But how would it come up though?
It's Vlad TV.
I don't watch what the phone.
I don't know.
Damn.
You can't ask anything.
Really?
Damn.
What's the final vote?
I got Gilbert.
I'm just in.
I'm going to go Gil.
I'm going to go still.
It is Gilbert.
I made that up entirely.
Third nipple.
The New Orleans Jazz did draft a woman who went on to be a international hoops legend.
Makes sense?
Next.
The Dallas Cowboys drafted Pat Riley, even though he has never played football.
Bill Russell was born before vanilla ice cream was invented.
And every player named T.J. in NBA history has played for the Pacers.
Okay.
The Pacers won.
Is real?
The T. Day Leaf.
T.
T.J. McConnell.
Who else is T.
T.J. Warren.
T.
T.
Warren.
I could believe that.
every tj ever
it's not a lot of t j's honestly
tj ford
j j for yes yeah
you played all the pacers
yeah
um
so yeah so yeah
so the paces one is real
they're a russam man
god bless you
what is that
is that mean in the scenario
before
vanilla ice cream
god
you're oldest
that's ice cream
that's ice cream
oh no
yes that's the
First ice cream.
Like on the pokeynets, that's the first Pokemon, man.
First ice cream.
And you wasn't around?
Damn.
No, no, he could have been around.
It's just,
it's actually not the first ice cream.
My vanilla being so accessible was like a modern thing.
But it needs to be really expensive.
But it's the first one in.
But it's crazy though.
Probably is like sweet cream, just sugar and milk.
Yeah.
Because vanilla now imitation of vanilla in like the early 1900s,
vanilla was like a crazy luxury.
Wow.
Okay.
So they got a real in the 1900s?
Like, being around.
But like 1800s for sure vanilla was a crazy luxury.
Could you imagine being around when ice cream dropped?
Yo, my mind would have been bent.
You know what I'm saying?
Like there's something that people say where it's just like, yo, like, oh, this is the greatest
thing to sliced bread.
There was a world where people didn't have sliced bread.
Imagine being there.
That's crazy.
You know, it froze cream.
You all have been insane.
The cream all day.
What?
I'm being cream drunk.
Exactly.
And you can like eat it.
I wonder when the cones came out too.
Now I'm horrible.
How to mess up?
Portable cream.
Holy shit.
Wow.
I think they have vanilla ice cream.
Yeah.
When Bill Russell,
but Bill Russell was what?
So if he's playing in the 60s,
keep in mind as his vanilla.
Yeah.
But he's probably born in what?
Like 1930s?
I think that's real.
Like late 1930s?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
Why to fuck would the Cowboys draft Pat Riley?
He was the athlete.
A football athlete, though?
Like, that's crazy, even though he never played football.
He's an athlete.
He said, are we going to talk about this?
You're right.
You know what?
I guess in the NFL they do be drafted.
Even though if you don't have no experience.
Because, like, the NFL draft used to be like five days long.
Listen, the big question here is how old is Bill Russell really?
Because if he's just old, then I think we go, Pat Riley.
If we think he's old as hell.
then we go with Bill Russell.
What do you mean?
The clear question is, when was vanilla ice cream invented?
We already extrapolated when Bill Russell was hard.
I think I'm going Pat Riley, man.
You might be leading me straight.
You know what? I'm going to go Bill Russell.
Yeah, he's not that old, man.
I can't, no.
I also don't know when vanilla ice cream hit the, hit the streets.
Invented?
They got to be 1800s, like late 1800s, man.
I don't know.
It's like, oh, this is vanilla ice cream for the first time.
We got to get some more old friends on the show, man.
What's the really put us on game.
Let's see, Columbus.
They say Columbus got over here 1642.
Are he going on to live back?
They had 200 years to get vanilla.
What is that guy?
Columbus has got shit to do.
What are we thinking?
I'm going to just say, say,
I can't fathom being arrived before.
That's really frightening.
That's crazy.
It's wild.
I feel like that's like a.
1600's invention.
Where are you voting?
Dallas Cowboys.
Don't get.
Beesles?
Bill Russell.
That is the lie.
Ice cream's been around for like 500 years.
Vanilla ice cream was invented
by the French in the 17th century.
French vanilla.
Makes sense.
Type, type, type.
The Cowboys did draft Pat Riley.
I don't know why.
He never touched the football.
They were just bored.
He's out of the fuck.
This is crazy.
He was funny because they had a pick they didn't want.
No.
my god bro.
Next.
Kyle Corver holds two world records related to League of Legend.
The Raptors pick their name because of how popular the Jurassic Park was and Stephen Adams has 17 siblings.
So, okay, I know those two is facts and I would have known if Kyle Corver is really tapped into League of Legends.
You would know?
He doesn't hold no world record for that at all.
Two world records?
No.
And I know Stephen Adams has a lot of siblings too.
But does he have 17?
Yeah.
I thought he had like 14.
Two world records.
I don't know the exact number.
I can see Kyle Corp.
Being like a slept on gamer,
but having the two world records is.
When do he win?
Now I'm saying world records,
these are gaming related things.
It's not like it's in Guinness.
So let me not act like it's like.
When did League of Legends like drop?
A long time ago.
Oh, okay.
Oh, wait.
Okay.
I don't think he was playing League Legends,
bro, for real.
Why would you not think he's a gamer?
Also, the Raptors picked.
That's not his personality.
Wasn't the Raptors name?
picked by like the
community?
The community.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like, didn't they have like fans
like write in?
I don't know.
Things to name the
the team.
Maybe.
Am I,
my,
my tribute?
I don't know.
I've no idea.
Honestly.
What a crazy story
they just make up.
It's Kyle Corver.
I think that's a lot.
Potentially.
League of Legends
record.
I may.
I just,
maybe a big liar.
Um,
I'm gonna say the Raptors.
I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go Kyle Corber.
Yes, Kyle Corver.
So you're,
you two-foot and Kyle Corcor,
where you think the Raptors thing is made up.
The Raptors did pick their name in part
because of Jurassic Park.
Kyle Corpher is not a gamer.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I knew that.
He's not a gamer at all.
It's kind of glazing.
What?
You name your franchise just because of the movie?
I mean, it's kind of cool.
They popularized dinosaurs.
And it worked.
Dinosaurs are still cool to the day
because of Jurassic Park.
Yeah.
Okay, now that's glaze.
Was it no, it's not just because of Jurassic Park
But yes it is
Land before time
That's like the biggest
Land before time probably wouldn't exist
If not for Jurassic Park
He almost killed him
You can't glaze Jurassic Park
It's 1st4 yeah
It's one of the biggest movie
Fucking franchises ever
That's kind of
But to credit it for the popularity
Of dinosaurs
Yeah
No literally it is because of Jurassic Park
you know I guess
Wow
Have you watched all the
All the movies
I haven't but I've watched the original one
But just to credit the popularity of dinosaurs
As a whole
What else like
To Jurassic Park?
Yeah what else
How other way would people be like
Museums? Dummy
Yeah of course
Jurassic Park is in a way more
How convenient it is
No one's ever going to me
You ever been to a museum
You ever been on a field trip
How about that's happening?
I'll argue for Jurassic Park.
What do you mean?
You got into the rest of the end.
And they start to the ocean again.
I know.
Is that time?
I'll be tweaking.
Never put you to him you, Sam.
You're per roll.
He was punched drunk.
Next round.
Dennis Robin once ate a spider in the locker room to motivate the
998 bulls.
Really?
Kobe Bryant was named after jabs.
Japanese beef.
And Ron Artes
applied for a job at Circuit City
while playing for the Bulls
because he wanted an employee discount.
City, man.
What a name.
I think the Robman one
is a lie.
Really?
Yeah, I think Ron Artez
definitely applied.
I believe that 100%.
What's wrong with you?
They definitely applied for a job.
Because he wanted the
employee discount.
I've thought about doing that
multiple times.
What?
Do you?
Yes.
Wow.
You're going to take a couple shifts?
The Apple store?
I would have, yeah.
When did you think about this?
A while ago.
What's the show?
Is that like a...
Like, even at the, like, the beginning.
That's crazy.
I have no idea what the fuck of the lies, bro.
Yeah.
I believe all these would be true.
Kobe Bryant.
Kobe beef.
That one's real.
He's said that in an interview.
Okay.
Dennis Rodman.
Once eight, a spider.
Okay.
With your logic, I guess it does make sense.
You also think we just had the last dance come out.
Just had.
But like the last dance came out and they had all these things about how crazy Robin was.
I think we would have, that would be a very, very popular story.
No, that's funny.
To motivate the 98 Bulls specifically, I think we would have known that.
I believe wrong.
So I think the Robin one is a lie.
That's good logic.
The Robin one is a lie.
I'm surprised you guys didn't entertain Kobe being eaten after beef.
It's tough.
He's seen it.
He said it.
Okay.
Fair enough.
She was born to be tough.
Brooke Lopez built a house on Walt Disney World property.
Kevin Durant wanted to be a weatherman when he grew up.
And Jason Tatum is one fourth Puerto Rican.
You should know this be.
Jason Tatum is one.
Actually, I don't want to.
You should know?
I actually don't know that.
I'm going to say that's true.
I can see I just don't want to put that on him.
Put that out of him like it's an insult.
No, I just, you know, I don't want to.
I'm gonna say the Brooke Lopez one is a lie
I don't think they folk are Walt Disney heavy though
Yeah they do the brothers yeah but you think Wals is laying you build houses here
No no
You can stay here
It's like with Steve Jobs died and started doing shit the Apple products you never allow
Walt dies now we're building houses
You don't know about that frozen head man
He doesn't know
Frozen head no man
No man that's funny
I think Kevin Wright wanted to be a weather man
Yeah
Fair
I
Yeah
I do
I just think again
I like on all Disney property
You can have a time shit here
I feel like that's possible yeah
You can do this
But build your own house
Must be out of your mind
Who do you think you are
Yeah
You're not LeBron
You're not the mouse
Definitely not the mouse
You're not the mouse
Your asses
You're not even goofy
Yeah
By the time they're touching money too
They still like
They still couldn't afford that shit
Facts
Yeah
Facts
They've been in Bobbin.
So I think that is a lie.
Okay.
I'm going to say that's a lot.
First miss.
Jason Tatum is not fucking Puerto Rican.
You let us down, man.
Come on, man.
Bro, that's how I say I didn't want to put that on him.
I wasn't sure.
I think, yeah.
I don't know his lineage.
It's not Puerto Rican.
The Lopez brothers got motion.
That's insane.
That's actually insane.
Makes sense.
Living on Disney.
Damn.
Okay.
That's one.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar co-wrote four episodes of Game of Thrones
Shack has a doctorate in education
And Jason Terry played games
Waring five pairs of socks at the same time
The Jason Terry stuff, that is true
And I think it was like a luck thing or something like that
Yeah
Shack has an honorary doctor
That might be enough to say he has a doctor
Or at least for him to walk around saying he has a doctor
Yeah
When did a Game of Thrones came out
I never watched it through
started in 2011 or 13 something like that
I don't I can't see Kareem having a hand
I mean
You can get credit for anything for real
You can just look at a piece of me like yeah
He's Korean people like yo Kareem helped guys
I was say a Game of Thrones like it's not just one writer
Like a lot of writers work because there's writers rooms for shows like that
I'm not saying he like wrote the show
This episode
Okay
I'm so directed by Kareem. I still think that one's
the lie. Because if you're saying
that the Terry one, like, is facts for real.
You know that for certain? I remember
him involving
socks of luck. How do you even
fit that in a fucking shoe? You have to wear
probably like two sizes up. Oh, and you're all
sweaty. I think he did it for a game.
I remember him talking about socks
and how, like,
it helped him, it helped his luck.
He did this on a regular basis.
You think five? Regular basis
kind of test. The only thing I'm questioning
10 socks specifically.
10 socks.
Yeah. 10 socks every night.
I just want to own that many socks.
You can get that many socks.
The socks, the quantity of socks is not.
They must run through socks so often, bro.
Hell, yeah.
That's just kind of OD.
Yeah.
I don't believe you no more.
Maybe it is Terry.
Because five socks is insane.
I think he wore, no, you know what it was?
I think he wore the same pair of socks kind of often for good luck,
if I remember correctly.
That's definitely different.
Your socks stories is everywhere.
I'm gonna go with Jason Terry.
The lie is
Kareem's ass did not write
No Game with Thrones episodes.
Ah, okay.
Bye?
See, man.
He wore five pictures of socks at one time.
He was not moving like that.
Also,
four episodes is kind of OD.
Yeah.
But also that's better than one episode
because maybe he just does this.
So how it got you.
And he's the writer.
That's why I know.
He obviously, he'd be in L.A.
and doing stuff like that.
Yep, yep.
Not Game of Thrones though.
He doesn't care about fantasy.
Damn.
Because about the real.
Mm-hmm.
Next one.
Ben Simmons hit 11 threes in a game once in high school.
Hell no.
Kendrick Perkins invested in Open AI in 2018,
and he's now set to make a reported $80 million in profit when the company goes public.
Brandon Miller is reportedly dating Sabrina Carpenter.
Is that true?
No.
No.
He said no so fast.
Damn.
Brandon Miller, lie.
You sure?
Nah.
I trust B-Soul's with everything Sabrina Carpenter related.
That's fair.
I feel like going to hit the Twitter Street so fast.
Maybe you just haven't been active.
I have.
I trust him.
Brendan Miller is not 11 threes in the high school game.
It's high school.
Does Brett and Miller have no motion to date?
Sabrina Carpenter?
No, he has motion.
Sometimes you just never see those certain couples coming.
But it says reportedly anybody can say anything.
Reportedly means nothing.
I'm about it just a poo-based tweet thinking it's pop-based.
Yeah, that doesn't mean anything.
11 threes
There's a lot for Ben Simmons
In a high school
In a high school game
Dudes would be doing stuff
Patrick Beverly
Can score 60 in high school
It is high school
But 11 threes for Ben Simmons
The line is shorter
He super hates a three point line
Bro
Now
But when he was the man
I'll be able
Think about
Whenever you do
See like
Ben Simmons' montages
Of when he was in high school
It's never as to do anything
With a three-pointer bro
It's all about getting to the rim
I think
DeVend some of the things
lie.
I think Brandon Miller is a lie.
I think Brandon Miller
got motion.
Who am I to say
he doesn't?
One now?
Everybody feels good about
Patrick Perkins
investing in Open AI?
Yeah.
I think he's a good position
of life.
Yeah, I agree with that.
In 2018?
Yeah.
Makes sense.
Beasles, what do you think?
Now, mind you, I'm trusting
you on the Sabrina Carpenter.
If you say no, then it's no.
No, I'm definitely
trusting the Supreme Carpenter.
I'm just trying to see the
Kendrick Perkins.
So I see the Ketrippel.
That feels like it's probably accurate.
I just felt like he'd be flexing more.
You know what I'm saying?
You know what to stop?
He tries to move in silence.
He doesn't want to blow up his spot.
Yeah.
I think he does want to blow up his spot.
That's my take.
I don't know.
I don't necessarily want to believe that, for real.
He, for 2018,
he's still on the cabs, right?
Obviously, doing nothing, but he's on the cabs.
Exactly.
He had all the time in the world to invest.
He knew it was coming to an end.
Yeah, he's around Brian.
He's around other, other, you know, smart people.
Yeah.
On that team.
That's believable.
I could believe it.
That's believable.
I don't believe the Ben Simmons said, though.
Beasles, would you be offended if they doubted your Brandon Miller,
Supreme of Carpenter knowledge?
Low key.
Low key.
And it's really just Moe.
It's really just Moe.
I would be offended.
Brandon Miller can, he got motion, man.
I believe he can do that if you wanted.
Whoa.
Now you think my girls.
Nah.
You think he's like you think my superstar attainable?
No.
What do you mean?
No.
My girl is crazy.
My girl.
Let me take that back.
My girl.
Yeah, it's one of your favorites.
You can call it.
That's fine.
It's not crazy.
You're not the judge of that.
I got a judge at home.
Fair.
Fair.
No, that's funny.
Brandon Miller is not the lie.
What?
Oh, you got motion, I told you.
Ben Simba is not the lie.
Oh, shit.
Kendra Perkins is not the lie.
They're all lies.
They're all made up.
Okay.
That's just true.
God, man.
Oh, you,
I thought my channel was about to get taken, man.
He had the chance.
What the fuck?
He was bought.
What the hell?
About to cause a civil war in here.
I know.
He said Brennan Miller.
New hate watch.
I can't really all just believe
the Ketrick Perkins's opening ass shit.
People would be doing so lost stuff sometimes.
Fair.
That's like Kevin Ratt, maybe.
The first thing I said super hell not to was Ben Simmons.
That was mad reasonable, too.
That was so reasonable.
He might have done that.
I made that up.
He might have done that.
Eleven's crazy.
But, like, he's definitely hit some threes in college.
Yeah.
This is high school.
I mean, high school, high school.
He's definitely a three in high school.
All right.
Next thing, we're going to do.
do. Let's move over to some of a little more serious.
No.
We are going to talk about the
2026 NBA rookie
class and we are going to put the top 14
picks, all them from the lottery,
into a tier list based on what we think they'll do
this season as a rookie.
The tears are day one star,
day one elite role player,
good stats, bad team guy.
We all know those types. Solid
bench guys. You're bad, but we
see flashes and your ass is glued
to the bench. Okay.
So going one through 14, starting off with AJ DeBanza.
I think day one star.
No.
Can he be a star with two actual All-Stars on his team while he's a rookie?
The other one of the other all-starts isn't going to play.
So I think-
I want to small guard who can't blow by anybody anymore.
Yeah.
Like he's, especially on the wing as a creator,
AJ's going to have all the opportunity in the world to really show off his game.
I think he's, I think he's the start day one.
It's hard to argue if you just simply think AD is not going to play that often
because it's like, well, okay, what does it say?
But I think based off of the infrastructure around him,
there's so much other, like, good things going on,
and I think he's going to be additive to it
and not necessarily, like, the end-all-be-all.
He's not the focal point of the offense in my mind.
So I don't think I can call him a start,
but I think he's going to be an elite role player for that reason.
I think the team wants to be good.
So they're not going to want him to take all these shots as a rookie.
I mean, he's going to be a great score.
Every rookie takes time to be a great score.
So I feel like day one elite role player is a safe bet
when they have other stars to play through.
Yeah.
But also, like, he has, he does have, he does have trade there.
Like, I think a lot of rookies get caught up because they're on these really, really bad
teams and they have to do all their creation by themselves.
He does have trade there.
He does have somebody who can set up the rest of the offense to where, so that AJ can
just focus on just getting buckets.
And that's a better position that a lot of other number one overall picks don't get the
luxury.
Here's the line.
Will he be better than Trey Young?
will he be their second best player?
I think so.
As a rookie.
That's not crazy.
He could be.
He could be.
It's not crazy.
I don't think so, though.
You know what, yes.
I'll say he's going to be better than Trey Young, Day 1 star.
So Day 1 star?
Day 1 star.
Okay.
He's clearing Trey Young by month 1.
What's his stats you're going to look like?
22 points per game.
Oh, my God.
Seven rebounds and probably like 2.5 assists.
Jesus Christ.
I star on 55%.
That's insane.
Damn, they're better than Cooper Flag.
He's in a better situation.
to thrive by the way.
I think there's too many mouse to feed in order for him to get
20 to a game.
It's not that many mouse to feed.
Alexar's there.
Trey Johnson got to get a shot.
I don't get a mouse.
I got a feed over AJ DeBonson.
They're going to,
they're going to get open shots.
Kishon and George is there too.
Their appetite isn't that big.
Trey Young got to average 20.
He's trying to get this 15-4 for games.
No, I'm not.
If we're doing the math, it makes sense.
And a lot, yeah.
I don't know any of those mouse matter over DeBonsa.
Whose mouth matter?
Next up.
Darren Peterson.
They all do.
All mouse matter.
Elite role player.
All mouse matter.
Yeah.
Probably elite role player.
They're going to be a team
that's trying to be good.
Yeah.
They already have Keonté,
who's an ascending score.
Larry Markkins and get his points.
Jaron, he makes all this money.
He's got to touch the ball sometimes.
He'll probably be fourth and shot attempts.
Yeah.
I think compared to AJ situation,
Darren has like,
literal all stars in their prime right now.
Obviously, like, it's different
because AD's AD and Trey's and Trey.
Trace Tray and they're trying to like reconfigure their career.
Lari and Darren Jackson Jr.,
their day at the peak or prime of their career.
And then Keonté George's got here too
and he's averaging 20 as well.
Yeah, I think he's going to be in the lead role player.
Okay.
I mean, he got average 20.
I doubt it.
Just off like, there's too many guys.
20's a lot.
With AJ, nobody plays like him.
He got to operate spots on the roster and nobody does.
Kiante is kind of going to operate as the main ball handling.
Peterson is special as the score, though.
I think even with Jaron there,
like Jaron scoring,
yes, he's going to be prioritized
and like he will get shots.
We don't need to feed Jaron this like abundance.
Jaron doesn't matter.
That's what he said.
Yeah, but Jaron 3rd.
He's talking about Jaron, Lowry, all these other guys.
I think I think there's a world where Darren can be third.
I think to have three 20 point scores
plus whatever Jaron does.
No.
Most teams that have 3 20 point scores
don't have the fourth guy averaging 15.
And I'm sorry, Keanu.
I'm sorry.
I had to be you.
You know?
I also think his game might take a little bit of time
to figure out since he doesn't get to the room very well.
He's a really big touch-oriented guy, and I think he'll be great at that.
But I can see that having a slower start to a career.
I think his shot making is going to be on full display.
He's going to be fantastic.
I agree, but I think it could still be elite role player and it still be fantastic.
Yeah, I think he's an elite role player.
Cameron Boozer.
Day one start to me.
He's going to have the opportunity.
Yeah.
I think I cannot classify him as an elite role player when you impact the game in so many high
elite level ways.
and I can see so many
things sway this season for him.
I think he's going to be
probably the best part
depending on how Zach Edy shapes up.
He's probably going to be the best player.
He's going to be one of the best rebounders
in the league day one.
Best passes for his position as well.
He's going to be a star.
I think he could be All-Star caliber,
year one.
I don't think his team would be good enough
to get an All-Star,
but I think he could be that good
that we look up, kind of like Cooper Flag,
and we say, oh, he's playing better
than some of these All-Stars.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Caleb Wilson.
because that's back team got pretty clearly I think
yeah bro
his efficiency his three-point shooting
might be ass bro
really that's for like the entire team
outside of norm pal
he's not to shoot 23s a game bro
yeah and I think kidd was be extremely good
he's probably the most raw for using like the standard
narratives of these guys his team is gonna suck
the environment isn't nearly as good I don't think
that sounds like he'll average a awesome 18
exciting to maybe one and a half blocks per game
team's gonna suck shit
You think he could average 18 without a solid three-point shot?
Because I think the three-four shot is going to take a minute to come along.
And so if that's the case, I was thinking more of like...
16.
Of like your bad, I don't think it'll be bad.
I don't think it'll be a bad player at all.
What you said?
Nothing.
I don't hear it was.
I'll tell you.
I don't think it would be bad.
I think it'll be flawed, but I don't think it'll be bad.
I think it would too many good things.
Yeah, I think the shooting.
is one thing that's that's holding me back
where I could really see that being a big that.
But he's going to be a transition demon though.
Which is how he's already going to be.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But also I think he's going to be like a real sound shot blocker.
That's hard to do.
Most good defenders aren't sound shot blockers as a rookie.
That's really hard to do as a rookie.
That's one of those skills that takes time to learn the timing for, you know.
A lot of players are raw as defenders in that way.
I look most time when you see good rookie defenders are like almost.
ball that's fairly simple.
Being a good team defender is a big man.
Takes time usually.
Yeah.
Fair point.
I was just talking about him when it comes to highlights and shit.
You're going to grab him.
When I say sound, it's going to be loud blocks.
The opposite of sound?
Yeah.
Okay.
Good stuff bad team guy.
Next up.
Keaton Wagler.
Maybe solid bench guy.
Nah, you're bad, but we'll see the flash.
Yeah, you could definitely imagine him with the scoring and the lack of, like,
obvious burst, taking some time to figure it out.
Being a guy who struggles to blow by guys at first.
Trying to find his feel for the game.
It's going to be a minute.
Those other players suck at first sometimes.
He's also not in an environment that's going to help him out at all.
So he's going to be overtaxed in Darius Garland as good as he is.
He's going to miss some games too.
I can't wait to start the narrative that I know Keen Wagler shot 39% from the field,
but year two he's going to break out.
Next year, my breakout list will have Keen Waggley.
Yeah.
Okay.
But year one, it's not for you, man.
Yeah, it's hard to be that type of guard as a rookie.
I can get with it.
Michael Brown Jr.
Soutablish guy.
Yeah, they start Jomon and Keon Ellis.
The shooting should translate pretty fast.
He should be a solid ball handler.
Could also struggle.
Rookie guards suck when they're not the top guys a lot of times.
Yeah,
Ricky guards who their whole thing is like
high level shooting and playmaking.
That's literally Keene Wagler and McHale Brown Jr.
I could see that.
Those guys suck a lot.
Yeah.
Do we think the shooting that he has?
Will he be better?
A solid bench guy?
Or is it would be bad in flashed?
Maybe bad and flashes.
I feel like solid bench guy
We should imply they're like
Part of a meaningful bench unit
That like helps their team
Hard to imagine any rookie guards
A shot maker doing that
Yeah, I think solid bench guy
Drop them down
Yep
You're bad but we see flashes
Solid bench guy
Nope
No
No
Oh
You're bad but we see flashes
Oh you're bad
Whoa
Yeah I think that
The guards did just take some in it
Yeah
Really but also I think he's in a better
Like
He's in a better
System compared to what
A little bit man
Yeah
What Wagra has to work with
I think
he's not going to be tasked because there's so many other things and forces you have to pay attention to
because Julie's run is going to be coming down your fucking chest and PJ.
All right, man.
All right, man.
Damn.
Does he not have back dive all the time?
Is he not a talented playmaker?
God damn.
Like, we're grown, bro.
Good Lord.
You're pushing 30, by the way, bro.
You're still doing this?
I'm sorry.
That was just egregious.
Egregious?
Like, is that crazy?
Like,
None of us are born in the 2000s, bro.
You know, you seen that before time and time again.
He is.
Barely.
You're right.
Like, you guys are dialed as if, like, you've seen it happen in that way before.
Come on a calm down, bro.
Calm down.
He's pissed.
Calm down.
Yes, I'm irritated right now because I'm making valid fucking points
from a kale brown junior
to your point
this is not the same
net's team
that is cool
with just letting guys play
for whatever like they are
turning a corner
whatever that means
the new lottery odds
all that stuff
so
Jordy will bench him
like if he's not good
if he's not good defensively
and the offensive skills
are not translating
yeah it's going to be very hard for him
to be a side
solid Benz Scott immediately.
He's going to have to be more of a complete player than that I think.
They also need him, though, because the other guards they drafted suck.
Yeah, and I think that's just, I guess just my belief in him.
I think he will be more efficient than a guy like King Wegg.
I think his skills are like more refined and I think he's a better like day one shooter
than someone like King Wagg.
I'm not mad at a lot.
So I'm like, they're going to need him to produce at a certain level because there's
certain things in his game.
There's a certain level of counters and unpredictability and just like straight up juice that
he has that gentleman doesn't have nor.
MPJ or anyone on the roster for real.
So I think he's going to be kind of pivotal
to their success this season.
Wait till this NPGA, year 8 leap comes.
You're never going to see you coming.
Year 8 leap.
I'm not mad at him being solid role player.
I don't care.
I think he's a solid bench player.
All right.
Next.
Darius A Cuff.
That's a day one star.
That's a bad team guy.
I've ever seen one.
That's a day one star.
That's rookie of the year.
That team's going to suck.
That's somebody who's holding up Sacramento by his own.
Yeah.
I think he's going to be good.
I mean, all these guys' team might suck, for real.
The king's, he's just on the king, so this is a different category of sucking for real.
Yeah, but I think to the essence of that, it's like a guy who puts up crazy numbers.
All right.
I need to call him time out.
He looked at this.
He don't stop looking at me for a fool.
I didn't see him break his neck.
He keeps looking at his head.
doing?
I'm like, are you cats in this?
Are you seeing this?
He's saying your favorite saying.
He's looking at you and go, what we are?
We slide it.
Oh, God, I'm crying.
Oh, God.
I think he's going to be a great score.
He's probably going to be a future defender, obviously.
And I think it might not be like good basketball.
That team's going to be disaster that one of the worst coaches in the league.
I think he'll be quintessential good stats bad team guy
I'd be for getting Doug Christie's over there
Doing nothing
Why is he there bro?
I think it comes to be really good
I think in year one
He's gonna do all this shit that good stats bad team guy do
And we're gonna have the question of like
He's putting up numbers
Let's see you next year
We've got a serious team
And like there'll still be questions
Are the Kings gonna be as bad for real
I think they're gonna be fucking awful
Because
They're starting Ben Simmons
I don't know what Ben Simmons
I don't know what Benzman's gonna look like
I don't know either
But they're starting him
off the bench
off the couch
it kind of makes sense
in terms of like
not putting as much pressure
on someone like
Darry's Eikov
to make every single decision
it's not idiotic
man being not making no decision
no more
I think the kings
might not be as bad
brother like a cuff
Levine Ben Simmons
Kegan Murray
Sabonis
that team sucks
Kigam Murray
sign me up
Kegan Murray
sign me up
I'm with that
Ben Simmons's good defense
I'm into that
he's gonna get cute
with the kings
during the rankings
I can't wait
Oh, you don't know
I can't wait
I might not but
I do think A Cuff is a day one star
That's the 12th C right there
Oh my good
Hey that's a successful season
I don't know
I'm sorry
I do think he's a day one sorry
I think in order to be like a good stats
Bad team guy you don't have like any
Sound developed
Star qualities just yet and I think
A Cuff is one of the few guards
Who I feel like we won't see
on a we won't see struggle on a
consistent basis
I think he's going to be like
insanely talented offensive player
I think it's a lot of essential
I think it could happen
I don't know if I'm confident
that it's going to be like
to that level again he's a small guard
not small he's not tiny
but you know he's a guard score
they all struggle at first
unless they're older
like DeMitch was there for two years in college
when's the last time we saw a day one guard score
be like efficient and like star level right away
been a minute but he's special
okay yeah sure
yeah I think he's special
I think he's very good.
I don't know if like,
like AJ, I think it's a special score
that can overcome rookie things.
It's hard to be an efficient score as a rookie.
And I don't know that he's a rookie.
So I'm saying that.
I think he'll get there to be an All-Star one day.
But I feel like for his rookie year,
it might look closer to good, stats, bad team.
But we can keep moving.
Your guy.
Kingston Fleming.
Jersey's lopsided.
Photographer wrong,
man.
That is crazy.
I'm not going to lie.
Who did this, man?
He's been using his rider arm more than his left arm.
He's tilted.
Swole on this side
The other side.
He did this to the while.
Yeah, man.
What was up with him?
I think he's a solid bench guy.
Sure.
He's going to get minutes, I think.
Yeah, he has at least a downhill ability
and play making it'll be useful from day one.
I don't think he'll be,
because he's not like jump shot dependent,
like a lot of rookies are for guards.
So, like, I do think he'll have the ability
to beat his man one-on-one a little bit.
It won't be great for a rookie.
For a rookie, it'll be good.
It won't be, like, great for an overall bench guy.
Yeah.
But I think if Mikhail Brown's there,
he can be solid bench guy too.
Yeah.
that makes sense he's definitely gonna get opportunity especially like at the end of the year
once the hawks are like completely out of it like he's he's gonna he's gonna he's gonna get
oh maybe he's a good stats bad team guy because he'll be the 11 seed yeah I'll troll in
no I'm not I'm gonna do that on my rankings all right man we'll see I'm gonna do that
all right Marej Johnson I have no I keep on forgetting they took him so fucking high
yeah how many miss he's gonna get they have so many forwards I hate this I like him as a
player but I hate that he got drafted here so high if Jason kidd was his coach I might say glued to
bench but he has his call the coach of them that picked him for a reason he's probably going to give him burn he's probably going to be a solid bench guy
because he's older right or is he own i don't think he's he let me check exactly how old he is
yeah how old is he for a rookie that's check i think he i don't think he's well because i don't think he's
20 okay never mind well still whatever it was six baby yeah crazy wow we're a solid bench guy but
There's a world where he's an elite role player.
He was a culture for two years.
That's why you think that.
Yeah.
Gotcha.
There is a role where he's an elite role player if the team is really good.
Because he has a skill set that could translate from day one.
Like being a big, big power forward sized defender that can guard up and down a little bit.
That type of guy you can see helping teams win games that they're in like a play and push.
Yeah.
Finish at the rim pretty well.
I could see that.
It's all the bench guys fair.
But let's call out shots.
You think he's good?
Do you think he could be elite role player day one?
Two years in college, a little more developed?
I don't know.
It's just going to be weird for him to, like, I don't know if it's like the best situation for him because you have so many guys.
My bad.
I forgot to tell you after they trade PJ Washington to the Lakers, then there'll be some base one.
Oh my God, bro.
I didn't tell you about the plot.
My bad.
I should have started with that.
This is the third person you put on the Lakers.
I know.
How many Rorschis spots you think they got?
Oh, no.
I didn't tell you.
What happened?
But we're giving people our bad players for the good players.
Oh, okay.
Like the Roshal spots are an issue.
Okay, okay.
They're taking Jerry Vanderbilt and getting nothing returned.
Fadey phone.
Come on.
Braden Burys.
I don't think he'll be bad.
I don't think he'll have that problem.
I think he has the size and like that Pods S skill set that can do a lot of small things
on the court, good off ball player on offense and defense.
It sounds like a solid bench guy.
I'm super high.
He could be a good, that's bad team guy once Hero gets straight.
Yeah, maybe.
Maybe he puts some numbers in that terrible team.
I mean, that was my hot take.
Let's do it.
Good stats bad team guy.
When they've trade Hero, they've cleared the spot for him.
to be the future him and Rollins.
Yeah.
They'll both Chuck Schoss.
They'll have tons of fun.
Yeah.
Tons of fun on the 15 seed.
I agree.
I agree.
I agree.
I love it.
Native Men's going to have a time, man.
Forgot about him.
He probably won't have his fun of a time.
All right.
Next up.
Yaxo Landenberg.
He might be an elite role player.
If he's not a day one elite role player,
what the hell do we do?
What do we pick you for?
You're 30.
You're 30.
You bet.
You better put him in day one elite role player.
You're in your prime right now.
He better be great.
Yeah, he has to be, bro.
I think it will be.
I think it should look like it and feel like it too
because they have no one on their roster
outside of maybe Jimmy Bullard, but he's not even healthy right now.
So right now, no active player on his roster who has the combination of size,
strength, mobility.
No, at least for real, bro.
He's so big.
Yeah.
And also, like, somewhat polished of an offensive game.
Stop smirking.
I'm watching with the Lakers.
He's just.
large.
Like that's a
huge person.
I tried not
to look up,
man.
Like,
bigness is the only
thing I can think
about to watch and play.
Like the combination
of shooting with
that size,
obviously,
hopefully you play
defense better.
Some of those
preseason highlights
that defense
has been coming
and going.
Yeah.
But even just
offensively,
being able to move
while being that big,
it's special.
I agree.
At least
will be a solid
bench guy.
Yeah.
If he's not
Aaron Gordon
day one,
like,
day you want.
They have a problem.
You have a problem.
Okay.
A day Mara.
He might be day one elite role player.
I think I might agree.
Is he going to get the opportunity?
I think so.
Maybe.
The minutes will be crazy because they have such a deep center room,
but I think he's going to be a big part of that.
Even if it's only 17 minutes a game,
he's going to be a demon off the bench.
I think with what we've seen through preseason so far
and the new, like, wrinkle that O.C.'s trying to
put into their game,
I do think that when it comes to all the ball of movement
and it seems like they're trying to move, say, off ball a little bit more.
Day's perfectly, like, his skill set really aids that.
So I think he will get the minutes.
What if they have three top 20 centers in the league on their team by the end of the year?
What if he's that good?
That's absurd.
Championship.
How much help can be pissed?
God.
We're going to start having those conversations.
Tatum fan.
I know.
I know.
I know.
I know.
I know.
Taium fan, by the way.
Oh, God.
Yeah, let's keep the same energy.
Next up.
Nate a Mence.
Yo, his neck is mad long.
Wow, man.
I like the funny faces he makes.
Yeah.
I like the eyebrow movements.
Well, you can do it too.
Hey, okay.
Generational talent over here.
Hey, you can do it too.
What the hell?
Oh my God.
Donner looks crazy.
Look at the camera.
Whoa, you have serious lift on that eyebrow.
I can't do that at all.
Like, I have like very little control over that.
Can you move both eyebrows?
I can only move my eye for it.
How do y'all do that?
Probably look dumb trying to do it.
You can't move one?
I think that's weird.
I can't move one separately.
I've tried to.
I've tried to work on my right eyebrow, but it's hard.
He's in the lab.
Try, try, try.
Every more.
With the camera on you test going to crazy.
Try, try.
What the fuck?
I think it may as clearly, you're bad, but we see flashes.
Yeah.
I would say glue to the bench,
This team sucks.
Yeah, true.
They're going to give a burn.
They're going to see what they got.
Yeah.
So we got no glue to it, but you've got to be mean, man.
I know.
Is he 13 to the 14th pick?
13.
Okay, one more.
One more.
On Steinbach.
What's her center room look like?
They got Cockbrenner, Musa Diabate.
And Steinbach.
Go ahead.
Solid bench guy.
Ah, glue was ass to the bench.
Yeah, so many to be there.
But what if all these players is just going to be?
be like useful.
There are lottery picks.
But not all
the lottery picks are useful
on day one.
I'm just saying it's okay
if we don't have anybody
go to the bench
because these guys should play.
Okay.
Yeah, I think he's going to be
a solid bench guy.
Should I have good
and agree.
Yeah, I think a lot of teams
are going to
are trying their best
to run these
like two big lineups out
out there.
So I mean, there's going to be
opportunities where he can be out there.
They got mad Germans on their team.
Who else they got?
Chris Anderson, Jr.,
also drafted there
and then they got Dennis Schroeder and Hans
Dennis is on the Hornace? Yeah
I completely everywhere bro
Mr. Worldwide
Bro I saw him I saw the hornus play yesterday
Is that Dennis? Yeah
Wow good for him
He's trying to do everything bro
Round of applause for Dennis
Dennis
I'm hoping them in the comments there's
Randal applauseing
I don't want you to just do it
Keep it tight
Last thing we're going to do today
I'm in the name some NBA players
I want you to tell me if you
think this season they are better or worse than Janice.
Okay.
Better than worse than Yonis.
Is this player better or worse than Yonis?
Anthony Edwards.
Worse.
Yeah, he's worse.
People are dying to put Ant in the top five.
You know who they're kicking out?
They're all kicking out Yonis.
He's not there yet.
Ant has to prove it.
You're right.
You're right.
He's just not there yet.
I think Yonis is to prove he's not top five.
Like he's been nothing but excellent when he's healthy.
Yeah, the call.
conversation for Janus is not that he's not top five.
I think it's, are you still one of the best in the world?
Yeah, we're aiming higher with Janus.
Yeah.
And is worse for sure.
Jalen Brunson, champion.
Better.
Your captain.
He thinks better than Janus?
Yeah.
All right.
I'm kidding, man.
Do you think he's better than Janus?
Hell no.
No, Janus is better.
Yonis is better.
Hell no.
Not close.
I don't want to hail a champ.
Child to him, man, but it's levels of this.
Respect.
Not better than Janus.
Yeah, no.
I mean, that's just, that's just the beauty of where we're at right now, you know, like, you guys can say your opinions and not be stoned to death.
You know what I'm saying?
Free speech.
Yeah, free speech is, it's a great thing.
We can be dumb as fucking as okay.
Yeah.
But it's not dumb.
To who?
See, life is about perspective.
All right, this is a new conversation.
Life is about perspective.
All right, man.
Yeah, Brunson's better.
Darned, buddy.
Outvoted.
Nicole Yokic
Yokic
Yokic is better
fuck man
Yokch coming up
the worst playoff
series of his career
I think Yokch's
defense is getting
worse and worse
every year
it definitely is
that's mad concerning
and that's just
because Aaron Gordon's
getting less and less
healthy too
the support
they were holding them up
with pixie sticks
and they're all snapping
I still think
Yokch is better
I still think
that the playmaking
is still on
even as good
as Janis
has gotten as a
playmaker
Yokch's is still
on another level
the scoring
is still crazy
efficient
the rebounding, they're both, you know, good rebounders.
I'm, I'm gonna go Yokic.
Yeah, I'll go Yokic.
Okay.
Yeah, I think it ends.
Luca Donchich.
So he's kind of up there, but if Janus isn't hurt,
it probably is Yonis.
Still better?
I think Yonis is still better than.
Better.
Yeah, I think he's better.
The two-way abilities is now the defense has fallen off a little bit,
but Luca's defenses come on.
Yeah.
We can't talk about it.
Especially the fact that Yannis is getting better as a playmaker for a, for a like, he's getting scary.
He's a legit a great player.
He's a great game.
I think he's been a great for it.
Will they heat one more games in the Lakers?
They could.
I don't know.
The East is tough.
It's not like the West is soft, though.
Yeah.
It's a matter of like sealing for the Lakers, you know?
Yeah, we'll see.
Looker better.
Hell no.
Kay cutting him.
Hell no.
Damn.
There's zero.
Can't escape that yon?
Take that yon.
I'll put it to the side to say hell no.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Put it on a coat rack.
Hell no.
There's no.
Cade's,
it is a hell.
I'm not better.
Damn, sorry, Kate.
They called you a hell no.
Victor Wilma.
Yeah.
Wemby's better right now.
I think even if it's not right now,
I think he will be better this season.
I think he's done nothing but continue to improve.
He's still extremely young.
The trajectories of Wemby's career
and the health he's had and the way he's improving,
There's no reason not to pick them.
Yeah, it's one be.
It's one be, man.
But, yeah, I guess there could be a world where Yonis has a playoff series
remind us he's still better.
I'm not ruling that out, but I'm going to bet on Wemby.
He has to out freak Wemby.
I want to see that happen.
And Yonanis is hard to out freak.
I wouldn't necessarily take anybody to freak off.
I don't know, though.
But Wembe has some shit to his guy.
He's not even a fully refined.
We're dealing with different levels of freak here.
I don't know.
There is weight classes.
You're all for a reason.
For a reason.
Right.
You got to keep people safe.
Jontas freaks.
on a level that's hard to, it's hard to allow to be around other people.
I don't know, man.
He's correct on that.
I'm,
all right, man, please don't mind me.
Shea guiltous Alexander.
It's different.
Yeah, she's better.
Better.
There's no argument.
Damn.
That's the easiest one so far.
Last but not least, Jason Tatum.
What?
Hey, what?
Unfortunately,
there hasn't been a day that,
Tatum has been better than Janus.
There's been a day.
Let's...
I can name a specific game.
Tell me a day.
No, he may have played better in a specific game,
but actually being like a better player that you would take over.
That day?
Yeah, he was better.
No.
One day.
This is that same logic is...
Janus was awesome in that game, too.
Tedham won.
Tedden won the game.
Oh, he just played with.
That ain't a lot.
I know.
I know what I saw.
I know what I saw, man.
What was that?
Stand on it.
46 all swishes.
No, I didn't say what was that?
I said when?
Oh, uh, 23.
Damn!
2027 is like three months away from now.
It's kind of crazy.
So, damn, think about the old days.
Yeah, Janus is.
Just answering this question?
They're the old days.
So no, nobody thinks zero has been better than Janus this year?
No.
Zero chance, bro.
Nah, I can't.
I can't do that.
I can't do that.
It's levels.
Tough.
But roll the ball out.
Do you still?
would get killed.
Okay.
He would get murdered by honest.
In a 1v1 setting?
I don't think he would get murdered.
Roll the ball and a freak off.
Who wins?
He don't know.
He don't know about that.
He's probably young.
He got no moves.
Yeah.
There.
No freak moves.
Yeah.
No,
the kill he's waiting.
You got to get in the lab.
J.T.
Work on your craft, bro.
And that's all the names.
And that's the end of this episode.
If people are still here,
what should they comment?
Getting the lab, JT.
Getting the lab.
have JT.
He's been there.
Don't worry.
We'll see you all Monday
for our official predictions
for this season.
