I want all of you to close your eyes and try to bring yourself back to June or really May of 2025.
Okay.
Think back to how you felt when you saw one, Shams, Sharania, go on TV and say,
this is going to be the most exciting NBA offseason of all time.
Remember that feeling you had deep in your chest, expecting Yonis to get traded,
expecting John Moran to get traded, expecting maybe the clippers do something crazy,
all these wild things you thought were going to happen last year.
Man, this shit sucks.
None of it happened.
imagine that disappointment you had
then put all that to the side
because now that offseason is here
Shams was just early not wrong
we are watching one of the craziest off seasons
of our lifetimes
that is true Shams you
maybe weren't wrong you were just early
exactly okay wow man
your legacy was on the line
John Horst and Janis being scared
put your legacy on the line but now you're back
you proved to everybody say it wasn't me
I'm just the messenger right
he couldn't he couldn't individually make all these moves
happened. He just had to tell us if they were happening.
That's, like you said, that's really on everybody else
being scared. All he did was see the smoke, tell you
their smoke, and the guys who started the fires put the fire
out. That's not his fault.
Listen, man, he was this close.
He was this close from losing his chain.
But it still remains
on his chest. He got it still. He still the greatest
right now. And now the whole league is on fire. The whole league is on fire.
And we are here today to grade
all of those fires. Every single big movie
you've seen, the big star trades, the major free agency signings, which
there's not a whole lot of major free agency signings these days.
I know how it goes.
Free agency is really like trade season.
But all those stuff that matters, we're going to grade it today.
Man, a lot of our teams are involved.
Yeah, man.
Good or bad.
Good or bad.
We lose so much.
I'm not okay.
You're not okay?
You hurt?
Of course I'm hurt.
Mitch luck.
What do you mean?
He lost his Shela.
Yeah, you'll be all right.
You'll be all right.
You'll be right.
Trust me, we won't get to you.
You don't say a damn word.
Everybody else.
say something not you i'm saying you feel i'm gonna get them not trust me trust me we'll get to you
you're gonna get the bulk of it all right this is why feeling irrelevant is so good sometimes
i ain't got none to lose i just sit back and watch all y'all steam all y'all cook all y'all get
deep fried he's been running this play love it for the longest of like i have nothing to lose
we weren't even supposed to be here you need to stand up but is it true you need if you never
have anything to lose and why do you play you got nothing to win too that yeah exactly
You're just cardio man.
And what is the best time to be mid,
Cardio Man?
No other time than now.
But it's not even mid.
You're like,
you're Tony Stel.
Okay,
I'm not Tony Snow.
Come on now.
What are you playing?
What are you playing?
What are you doing?
Not Tony Stey.
Kind of keep a job.
Keone Ellis.
Tony Snell kept a job.
He did.
I'm like T.
Jim and Connell.
I'm like annoying.
He kept a job.
He also is not cardio man at all.
Yeah.
Nevertheless,
we're going to get to this.
We'll discuss the dichotomy of Moog's
Cardio Man or not Cardio Man.
where he falls in that.
Before we get to that,
a couple quick reminders.
Once again,
like I've been telling you all
for the past several weeks,
check out our link to our merch
that is in the description at the top.
All of our collections
from our season of merch
in the last three years
are live for the summer.
You can go back and get the whole back catalog.
And once you do that,
go ahead and check out house call
because we have been doing
Love Island USA recaps
for the last four weeks.
This week is no exception.
Go and watch our most recent episode
in which we rank
the best young stars in the NFL.
You know, it's the off season right now,
so we're just in straight ranking
season. In that episode, we did our reaction to Casa Omore and all the latest Love Island
USA drama. Check that out for the next two weeks before the season ends.
It should be tapped in regardless when it comes to the NFL content. But, listen, I finally
tapped in fully and I'm caught up through all the episodes I'm missing Love Island. I cannot
wait until next House Call episode. I got some bars. I got some words for y'all.
I'm disgusted. Some bars.
What that being said, let's grade some offseason moves.
We're throwing it back
That's crazy
He was bragging
I don't you didn't say
The cranium is crazy
Oh my god
Crown eaters rejoice
All right we're going to go one by one
Of all these massive trades
All these massive names that have been moved
Let's start with the one that I probably put in the thumbnail
Because it's the most recent
And probably generates the most clicks in my mind
B. Souls, how do you feel that the Jalen Brown and Jason Tatum era is over?
And not only is it over, it came down to an unceremonial whimper.
You shipped off your FIDO's MVP.
Your favorite player of all time.
Whoa.
Your favorite player of all time.
Wait, is that bad?
What do you mean don't put that on you, man?
He's just not my favorite player of all time.
He's one of them.
Right?
I've heard otherwise.
All the same thing.
Nevertheless, he was shipped off for what we call one of the worst contracts in the NBA.
And Paul George, you're $52 million for the next two years.
Yes.
How does it feel?
How does it feel?
How are you feeling right now?
I'm not going to lie, man.
I just want to go back to that Yannis trade real quick.
Because the day before, I was so prepared to, like, have a little soliloquy.
I prepared notes for the show.
I was like, yo, no way the gap you worked so well to the point where, at the end of it,
Jalen Brown was so good that we can now damn your trade them straight up for Yonis.
You thought you were going to narrow it about.
Brad Stevens masterclass?
I was about to, yeah, a week and a half later,
got podcast P in the building.
You mentioned that Brad Stevens
on fraud watch to you a little bit
after failing to get Yannis,
losing the Amphrey-Syman-Syroozovich swap.
If that was fraud watch by not getting Yonis,
what is he on now that he did get podcast P?
Oh, it's not a watch.
He's arrested.
He's in the jail cell.
You are a fraud.
I don't know.
We got three charges on you.
Being arrested.
It's a RICO.
He's being indicted as we speak.
Yes, bro.
We can buy the hour updates on your case, man.
I'm not going to lie.
It's bad.
It's horrible.
Danny ain't just somewhere in Utah.
They're knocking on his door.
They got your man.
Yeah, man.
Jalen Brown shipped out.
We knew this is going to happen.
We read the tea leaves that all year we knew he finally got to have his own team.
We had some assumptions based on personality and comments he made.
Those assumptions came to reality.
We saw those comments.
Be a little straight.
forward, then they'd dangle him for Janice, seemingly fractured relationship even more.
They shopped him for a couple weeks, tried to get the best offer they could.
It was reported left and right that they're talking to a million different teams about what
you're willing to give up for Jalen Brown.
The market said, not a whole lot because he is not a top 10 player in this league and he's
making $60 million a year on a supermax.
So the best we can do is a comparably bad contract that is a good player, but bad contract
and some draft capital.
We knew he'd get traded.
How do you guys feel about the way this package shook out and what that says about
Jaylon Brown?
I think more so this tells me that there was a lot of shit that happened in
behind the closed doors and he needed to fucking go and he not necessarily demanded
a trade but there's some shit going on right there where they had to step in my ship
him out immediately and when it comes out quickly they moved fuck I feel like right now this
is the most insane insane inspected that a player his caliber off of the season that he's had
has been damn near that I've ever seen in my entire life he
what average, like, damn near 30 points for game in the regular season,
not necessarily drug the Celtic team to 56 wins,
but he was, like, the main catalyst for that.
He, of course, like, gives one final limit P a couple years ago and all that.
He's at the absolute peak of his powers.
And arguably, too, we could also consider one of the more, like,
malleable superstars that this league has today,
put him on any team that, any team in the league right now,
and he fits damn near not perfectly, but he's a seamless fit on most teams.
So it's like, how could he be viewed like,
this.
What's wrong with it?
What's wrong with him?
Donovan.
Maybe he was right.
I mean, we've called him crazy for like two years now.
Yeah.
Maybe there is a conspiracy.
He's right because for everything you laid out and how good Jalen Brown is,
nobody else wanted to step up and beat this offer.
Like, I understand that the money is the money, but I mean, he can help so many other teams.
And so if this is, if this is what it is, and basically you're,
again, like you're trading for Paul George, you're trading for another bad contract,
kind of dumping, you're dumping contracts both ways.
Like, it's much more reminiscent.
Like, in terms of like a star package, it's much closer to what we've seen from the,
from like the Trey Young package or the John Morant package where I'm swapping my problem
for your problem and not necessarily you are acquiring one of,
somebody who was in conversations for first team all NBA.
Can I give a counterpoint?
go ahead you said maybe he was right maybe the haters are right maybe the haters were proven right
by the market by the rest of the NBA and if they had reportedly proof proof right about about what
because he he like like we can we can joke around and be like he you know obviously he's not like an
MVP he's not the MVP of the league he's not that but we all recognize that he still is a very very
good player and a very valuable player so i don't like very good players very good as a way to describe
him exactly very good you know i don't want to give minutia of what's great what's good what's very good
whatever he's a very good player never once been in the upper echelon you make upper echelon money
not only is it just literally hard to match 60 million dollars for a team trying to win right now based
on the contracts they already have it's hard to have the desire to give a very good player a 60 million
dollars it works when you're keeping together a duo like tatea and jillin brown who already
won a championship and no sense of break him up in the moment so giving them money we'll figure it out
later, it works then.
When you're already a team that's trying to win, presumably has stars that you're trying
to pair with Jaylon Brown to win, very difficult to justify given a very good, not great
player, $60 million a year.
On top of that, that's the one thing that the haters are right about that when they said
the money is going to make it difficult down the line, right?
The market clearly agrees that, like we said, he is very good, not great.
They agree that the lack of passing, the consistency and the shooting being up and down,
the defensive effort waning over the years and maybe not quite being as impactful as his
reputation might say all the flaws in his game that lead to someone like me in the past saying
he's very good obviously but overrated when you have people on TV saying he should be an MVP candidate.
All those things clearly were agreed upon by GMs that were thinking about adding to their team.
So it's not to say he's bad or not worth it or not a good addition for the six years.
He is because you're getting off Paul George, right?
But he is the, I don't know, 12th to 15th best player in the league and not fifth like he might tell you or like
TV people that put him in MVP convos might tell you.
and that's a difficult player to acquire.
It's, I've seen people take bigger risks for less.
And with those good risks?
I've just, I've seen to be done.
Sure.
Which is, which is the thing.
Not like, we knew that he was going to get traded.
We knew that the Sixers had two bad contracts in Paul George and in B,
and so they had to figure out a way.
They just got, got a new GM in the building.
So they're going to try and figure out how to maneuver their team and reset themselves up.
I understand all, all that.
it really just comes down to
Jalen Brown is like you said
at the peak of his powers
and he gets traded for Paul George
in two first round picks
not even some of the quote unquote
more valuable picks that the sixers have
and this is this is it
this is that's what this is
that's how it's going to end it's crazy
Yeah I just don't think this deal
ever gave to me that like
Jaylon Brown doesn't have a lot of value
in the league in terms of who he is as a player
like everything that's
Jonathan said is right.
Like, he is an all-N-B-A player.
He was, you know, arguably a first team at the peak of his powers,
29 point per game score, this, that, and the third.
I truly feel like the reason why the package is what it is
is purely off of the fact that the Celtics had to move off of him post-Yonis.
So when the other teams are looking at the Celtics, it's like,
why do we have to give you the boatload when you have to get rid of this player?
You think that's like, HACTS?
Do you think there was, like, internal pressure to where it was literally impossible
bringing back?
I'll build the scene for you right now.
this man Jalen Brown said you know what
fuck a gun motherfucker Brad Stevens
I got a Twitch stream
Go like one to your head right now
Send me somewhere
And he had to do it
Did he know?
Based off of the reports
I see the skepticism
Because Shams has been adamant on like
Yo not gonna lie
Jalen Brown actually never requested a trade
Yeah so that does give me a cause for pause
For that reasoning
But just based off of everything
that we've seen outside of that reporting
It just logically makes sense
You put up Jalen Brown for Yannis
he's upset
he wants to get moved
and now the Celtics are in the situation
where like you can't move forward
without Jalen Brown
so you got to get what you can get for him
Yeah I think that makes sense
I would feel more inclined to feel that way
if I think that
explanation makes a lot of sense
whenever a star is angling his way
to go to a specific team
so that team knows the leverage is
your guy wants to be here
maybe he's in a space where
other teams won't trade for him
because he won't sign an extension
so it really is me or bus
and I'm going to make sure
you feel your desperation
in the ways you described
to get the optimal trade package.
I don't know if that part of it
applies to Jalen Brown.
He has multiple years left.
Obviously, he does want an extension
pretty soon, which is a haggling point.
It's not like he said,
I'll sign with the Sixers publicly,
but nobody else.
I think the fact that there was multiple teams
that could perceivingly
be in a bidding war for him
makes me kind of inclined to believe
that the Celtics felt
this is their best offer.
And that could lead to two conclusions.
Maybe you think Brad Stevens are tripping
and the fact that he thought
this is the best offer
and he values Paul George more than you do
could just be a mistake.
and be graded poorly, or I think it could also be a symptom of 29 to 30 GMs, aside from Rapalinka, are smart these days.
I think it's the other way around where he, Bradst even doesn't necessarily value Paul George, but he values the flexibility, which is his contract being up somewhat soon.
Yep.
That way he opens up a goddamn Pandora box to all the opportunities the world to make some shit shake with those two first-round pigs that they did get.
And I can understand that logic, but considering who they traded them to and also what you got to, what you got on return face value right now as you speak, it looks crazy. And it will look crazy until you acquire that next said star. Yeah. Okay. So outside of what we think it says about Jalen Brown, right, that's to be debated, is there a way to justify the chip package for you? Because obviously we were talking about Paul George in the beginning of the playoffs as being underrated as like salvaging his reputation of no longer being this like atrocious contract because he was playing very well, has been defending really well.
even in the time as much his offense looked washed in the last two years,
the Sixers defense really did kind of live and die by him.
When he misses times for suspension or an injury, the defense falls apart.
He is still a very good wing defender and similar ways to Tatum as being an awesome helpside nail defender.
That all still exists.
The offense came around a little bit after the suspension.
He's a good player, right?
And there is the salary thing like you mentioned.
Two picks and two seconds isn't nothing.
Is there a way to justify this from Brad Stevens' perspective that the Celtics are either a better team or,
while taking a step back, the step they took back is small enough that the flexibility and picks make up for it.
I think it's a case of like two things can be true at once in terms of like the Celtics are still a good team.
I understand everything is doom and gloom right now, but when you look at the roster that they do have right now, like, I mean, we can look at it right here.
Payton Pritchard, Derek White, Paul George, Jason Tatum, Mitchell Robinson.
They still have a solid bench.
Like this is still a good team.
However, I just feel like a window was closed last night.
night in terms of like them being this clear cut top four top five team in the league like
they are in the second tier in the east now you know what I'm saying so second so when you say
second tier in the east what's the assumption of that the tier one is just the next by myself right now
yeah okay so they're looped on to everybody else I guess that's fair maybe they could have been
argued to that beforehand too I don't want to you mentioned something before we hit record button
a week ago everybody was hating on Jalen Brown saying it's overrated now all of a sudden he's a
superstar and they're stupid for letting go of him.
Yeah. You're right. And I'm very
cognizant of that. Everything
I've said about Jaylon Brown and how like we mentioned,
very good player, not taking away from his abilities, but
the flaws are the flaws and it makes him
maybe not quite as impactful as the raw numbers
might say. All of that still exists.
The idea of
Derek White being just as important to what they did last
year in many ways in the regular season
to Jaylon Brown does still exist.
The idea that Jason Tam can come back from his
Achilles off a year two, look a little closer to himself.
Still exist. The idea they continue
to do their analytic maxing of offensive rebounds at 3 point rate,
with Mitchell Robinson added, more paying pitcher shots or more threes,
all that still exists.
I can kind of buy the idea that they're not that much worse.
Yeah, especially compared to the team,
what the team was before Tatum came back.
I don't think this roster is much worse.
But my pushback would be if we were to just go all the way back,
even before the honest trade rumors were coming out,
if we go back to when the Celtics Blue of 3-1 lead
and we're discussing about how this team can improve moving forward.
You wouldn't look and say, yeah, Jalen Brown for Paul George is the answer.
You would look towards, I mean, we were talking about coaching changes, a decent amount too.
We were looking at Derek White, you know what I'm saying, looking at getting a better big.
Jalen Brown for Paul George Swap was not the answer.
Also the picks, though, do you want to see them do some with those picks?
Maybe they're not done.
They have.
They have.
They have to.
You can't be done here.
You can't be done here.
And if you just operate as normal and I're just making these draft selections a couple years from now,
this is a, it's a loss of a trade.
I think that you have to, the situation that Jalen Brown was in last year, Tatum is in that situation now where like you,
and he's in a better situation.
And so Jayne Brown's going to be furious because Tatum's going to have a better supporting cast than what he had last year.
They might go out overachieve when,
57 games and then they're going to be like see tatum did exactly what you did so but i i do think that
with with the way that derrick white shot last year i i am nervous to see like is he fully regressed
and are we going to are we going to get a version that is tenable for him paul george yeah he
looked good in the playoffs until he didn't and until he was thinking it up while the sixers
were getting swept part of the reason also why he was able to look that good is because he didn't
play for 25 games because he was suspended and he didn't have to go through an entire 82 game
season. So if we're asking for Paul George to play, you know, 65 games or something,
where Jaylen Brown, Jaylen Brown is playing every single night. He's, he's there. I don't know
what the availability is. Actually, I do know what it's going to be like. It's going to be inconsistent.
And at times, Paul George is not going to be there. And so you are going to have stretches of
the season where you may not have the shooting from Derek White. You're not going to have even the
upside of Paul George, you're not going to have that on a night-to-night basis. And so for Tatum,
it really is an opportunity and a situation where you have to backpack a little bit more
this season. What do you need to see with those two first-on picks? He said something that y'all forgot.
They got Hugo. Hugo, yeah. He's the ultimate factor here.
Now, I, ironically, like, yes. Like, these young guys progressing, like, is an important element
to this to them, clearly. What do you need to see them do with those two first-on picks? Let's assume
they do want to continue to make one more move
to make it so it's not Jalen Brown for
Paul George. It's Jalen Brown for Paul George
plus fill in the blank.
Yeah. Is it another big?
Do you want to see them like upgrade Derek White
and get a dynamic guard there to pair with them?
Like what would be the ideal scenario
to trade those two first round picks today
and feel good about the exchange?
For me personally, go ahead.
I was just going to say post trade
already are rumors about them trying to pursue trade work.
Okay, exactly.
But they've always been linked to trade merch.
I love that.
That's what I was about to say.
I need some type of score,
someone who necessarily doesn't have to have too much playmaking in their bag, someone like
Jalen Brown.
And obviously Jalen Brown and Trey Murphy are two completely different players.
But Trey Murphy is a score for his type of guy.
You don't really want to necessarily rely on guys like Payne Pritchell or Derek White,
who mind you, shot like 29% from the field in the playoffs.
Well, it's fucking abysmal for the playoffs and pretty much the entire regular season.
You don't need to rely on those guys.
You need someone who can get his buck cuts off pretty much from all three levels.
Trey Murphy, of course, is a lethal three points.
been that for fucking years considering his range and that's what you need now i don't know again
if the phones work in new horns because they have not said or done anything this offseason of
relevance other than bring back diontray aton so that's what scares me but you need someone like
that you need like a tier three-ish NBA player okay let's say that is that right you mentioned they
been linked to them they have two first-on picks now if that is the direct swap they give them those two
first-on picks for trey murphy and the swap now is jaylon brown for four years at that my superman
money for two years of Paul George and maybe two years after that a cheap deal we'll see how long
he stays in the league for and Trey Murphy for the prime of his career we're cooking that and that's that
that's that's that's that's completely different and now you see all the points I was making earlier about
maybe there's a world where losing J. LeBron doesn't make you worse like the overratedness does play in like
that's the plan yeah I don't know if we'll see it right now if it will be a Trey murphy trade
maybe it'll be later on the plan is kind of clear I think yeah but for me it's just I don't trust
none of these reporters now I'm not going to mind I've been burned so many times. I've been burned so many
in the last two weeks because of all these damn reporters.
Steinline, I don't know, man.
I'm going to see it come from Steinline, man.
I need that Stein's from approval, man.
Yeah.
So I don't know either.
It seems kind of likely me that could happen.
But it isn't got to be Chair Murphy.
Let's say somebody comparable.
Like, either way, I think you could feel, especially with Mitch being added, which
probably isn't fair to loop into the trade, but it's an addition to the team.
Yeah.
I could see everybody feeling good about the Celtics still.
Yeah.
I mean, like, if Tatum fully comes back, mind you, in the playoffs, he average, like,
23, 11, and 6.
He was good towards the end of the season as well.
He finally started to come back fully into himself and maybe even a smitch better when it comes
to other ancillary things that he does on the court when it comes to his rebounding.
I can fully see this team doing the exact same thing as it did that this previous year,
instead of 56, 57 games or something that nature.
And yeah, it all be cool.
But also, I can also see this team literally being hindered by the fact that, oh, shit,
we do rely on Tatum who did go out
did go out towards the back half of that series
with the CAF thing we do have Paul George who is
old man Paul George Derek Wyden the shooting goes up and down
it's like the fucking weather who the fuck knows is going to happen
I can also see in a position where you know they maybe miss out in the
playoffs and oh shit you miss on the playoffs
this era kind of like helps you want you to be decent
and mid you end up with the number one overall thing I get seen situation
so like the so that would shock me personally
so same the trade obviously
At this point, we feel like it's incomplete because there's absolutely no way that this could be the final thing.
Yeah.
It is scary right now because in this current moment, I don't, I don't know if they're better than Philly.
We'll get into them in a second.
You know, like, I think, I think just in this current state, in just Jalen Brown for Paul George and we'll see what the picks become, I think I like Philly a little bit more.
Okay.
So it is really weird whenever we're trying to discuss this trade.
And you have it in the back of your mind that inevitably it has to be a two-part thing.
It has to, there has to be more.
And I think we should treat it that way, right?
Like, even if it's not immediate, let's loop in Tri-Murphy.
Like, the idea that these picks are going to become another rotation player.
Like, I think that should be put in the calculus.
And for Gradyinian for the Celtics, I think see.
Yeah, fuck that.
I'm reactionary mo.
He's in the building right now.
This is a fucking F, bray.
I understand what's going to happen.
but I will revisit that and change my grade once it actually happens.
The process is just nasty.
You did win a championship together.
And I understand, like, I completely disagree with Shams.
I think he's literally lying in order to keep his relationships in good faith with whoever's telling him whatever, whatever information, because he fucking has to.
Which part are you lying about?
Them not shopping Jalen Brown.
Brad Stevens lying like shit.
He had to shop Jalen Brown because once you open that door and you go ahead and you trade him or offer to trade him for Yonitz.
after his best season.
It's kind of discussed,
it's not disgusting process.
I get it,
but he had to.
Yeah.
I think I'm a,
I'm a lean a little bit towards you.
I'm going to go D right now just because I,
if,
if a second trade is not about to,
not about to hit,
then I don't know what,
what we're doing here.
So,
this is where I'm at.
I'm leaning towards D.
Mm.
Okay.
This is just.
And,
and also,
if the thing that you said about them,
not,
not necessarily,
uh,
or him not,
like,
specifically asking for a trade, you could have just waited to the deadline and you probably
could have got the same deal. So it's a D for me. Yeah. I also do wonder how much the whole second
apron of it all affected. Oh, we were entirely involved in this. Oh yeah, exactly. Like it's a huge
part of it. Like it's tough to build a two 60 million dollar contracts. See Jim McCollum.
Yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah. Let's talk about that same. When we catch you, man. Yeah.
Huh? When we catch them? Yeah. I'm surprised like in the Hawks ain't want to make an offer.
the nuggets ain't want to throw none at them you know bro i was telling myself on like jemalm murray
jaylyn durran evan mowgli rudy gobert all george we are i think i think you're gonna like
paul george more you think in that system specifically where obviously paul george can still
shoot and can still defend really well you're got a lot of threes up i think you're going to
like him a lot actually well now will you like him a 52 million dollars worth probably not that is
what it is he's overpaid i do think you'll find that he's a better fit with hans
that you think. Yeah, like I said, I think, again, everything's doom and gloom right now.
But when you look at how this team actually looks, I'm still expecting a lot of wins next season
and a lot of good basketball to be played. It's just the way everything went down.
Yeah, the playoffs will come down to if Tatum is 100% if Pritchard is ready to take more
on-ball reps in a tough environment like that, what they get with those two first-owned picks.
But regular season, the perimeter defense of Derek White on-ball and then having the wing-duo of
Tatum and Paul George, that's one of the most destructive wing-duos off-ball.
I've ever heard of.
That defensively is going to be filthy.
Yeah.
Also, Adam Silver, if your pen works really like that,
set up that Philly Boston series right now.
You get it every two years.
Set it up right now.
That's going to be cinnamon.
So Sixers, they get off of Paul Georgia's contract,
something we thought they could never do.
It took them two first-on picks to do it.
And in doing so, they upgraded to a top 15 player in the world,
all-MBA player, 28 point for game score reliably to pair with Tyrese.
They're no franchise player, go-to scoring guard.
VJ Edgecombe, Rookie Guard, who I think his profile is,
ideal world, he could be our Derek White.
So that makes sense next to Jalen Brown and Joelle and Bede,
who winning healthy is still a 30-point-per-game bucket.
How do we feel about this team in this core four?
And the fact, they have absolutely no bench.
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
No, Wade is there.
Include Dean Wade is there as well.
New York.
Right out the fifth starter.
Dean Wade's still out there.
For sure.
Hell yeah.
Listen, I really like it for the Sixers.
I think for the team,
even with Embed being in and out,
I think this is a team that could be a top four seed
in the East next year.
I think we saw the ascension for Maxi
and this helps so much because
you don't have to play Maxi 45 minutes a night anymore.
You can take a little bit of the pressure off from him
and for what you thought you were going to get
a Paul George, you know, whenever you first signed him,
now you actually get somebody who can go out
and get their own shot.
You can have somebody who can operate in the, in the mid-range.
And whenever Embedit is not there, the scoring load isn't going to be like, dang, how are we going to make up these 27 points a night?
Jalen Brown's right there.
Your three best players are scorers and not passers.
How do we feel about that?
Exactly.
I think regardless, I'm going to give him an A because they got out of the Paul George stuff and really, like, they just had to pay an extra pick for the premium talent that he is.
but when it comes to how I think of them as a like upper echelon team a serious like championship contender you become a contender immediately whenever you insert this level of this type of talent into this team but you're right they are missing like a high level processor and that's been something that everyone's been like saying that's missing a part of tyrese maxi's game and he's growing i'm not expecting that out of vjay jane brown what the fuck are we talking about so it's like i think they they do have their flaws but they are going to be
a fun hard team and hard out.
I don't think I'm going to sit there and call them like final favorites or they're going
to be like the team to beat in the Eastern Conference.
None of that, but they're a better team.
Yeah.
None of us knew how to talk about the Sixers to begin with overall because the whole
Joel and B thing.
Yeah, I'll go B.
I don't love the fit.
I don't hate it.
Obviously, like you said, if you can add a player like Jalen Brown to talent wise or
better, like go for it.
I'll give you a B.
So who's the best defender in that starting lineup?
probably
Dean Wade
I guess
because that's what he does
Wade
who's the second best defender
Jalen probably
Jalen Brown
your team will be VJ
Jalen Brown is second best defender
that's not a good place to be
at all I'm not listen
VJ is very good
we'll see
okay you probably is Jailin
that's not a good place to be whatsoever
Jalen Brown is not a consistently impactful defender
especially off ball
on ball as he has his moments
when he locks in he's not a high level
level defender like that.
All the scoring in the world, which gives you a huge floor and a huge ceiling in the
playoffs that they can be a tough out when you have that many on ball scores.
Who's the best passer on the team?
Probably by five.
Probably and B elbow touches creating like I guess.
Who's the second best passer?
Max.
Not a great passing team.
So do you, the way that you're saying, you think they got worse or?
No, no.
They're better because we didn't rate them beforehand.
But I don't think they're a top echelon.
I don't think they're a contender.
You're really low on Jalen Brown.
I'm not going to say I don't think they're a contender.
He's a good player, but this isn't a great fit for him.
Like Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown is a way more complimentary fit than this for Jailen
Brown specifically, I think.
I think he came, he's leaving a star who did everything that Jailen Brown lacks to playing
with two stars that kind of do the same things as Jalen Brown in a macro sense.
Obviously they can fit together.
I'm not saying it's bad, but the fit is worse for Jailen Brown, I think.
Even if he can be the go-to score and he feels good about that,
I don't think this team complements him as well as the Celtics have in the past.
Yeah, it definitely, it definitely doesn't.
because you don't have anyone who's a high-level playmaker or has, like, those layers to their game.
One thing that I do like is that they do play different.
All three of those, all three of these guys do.
And specifically, Tyree's Maxine and Janeline Brown.
Of course, he plays with more, like, power.
And he does have finesse.
And he has that mid-range game.
Meanwhile, Tyrese is just zipping around everywhere.
And he's giving you, like, a million threes a game, which is nice.
And that's something that Jaylon Brown doesn't necessarily have.
So I think they can figure out
Nick Nurse isn't going to have to be in his fucking bag
in somewhere. That's what it is ultimately.
And it's really like how good of the coaches he is.
Yeah. And what if, I mean, what if Maxey takes
a playmaking league?
They're great and that fixes everything. You know?
Like, how often do we see that though?
From a guard? Like, it's kind of you are you are.
And he's like you at 26 right now?
Yeah, he's 26. Yeah.
You can, you can get better.
You can for sure, for sure.
And obviously it's not, it's not one to one
because he's not a guard.
But these last couple years,
we've seen the Celtics go to another level because Tatum has gone to another level as a,
as a processor and as a playmaker.
That same thing can happen with Maxi this year.
And so if that happens, then, and again, he doesn't have to be a top five passer in the world,
but you can get better and you can start adapting to what the team needs.
Like this last year, they needed Tyrese Maxie to go out and get 30 and play 45 minutes and
just go, go, and now that the team is set up a little bit different, now you have an entire summer
where you can say, hey, I actually, we don't need you to be as, as aggressive in this specific
area.
We need you to work on X, Y, and Z.
And we might be able to get a leap and an improvement in Maxie who has shown since the
moment he's walked into the league, I can be better every single year.
So I think that's still, that, that jump is still on the table for him.
And so for the Sixers, I think it's okay.
And I like the trade.
I'm going to give it a net.
Yeah, it's super okay.
I'm not trying to make it sound like it's a bad trade.
You got rid of the Paul George contract.
It's good business regardless to add a player.
Jaylon Brown. It's just
the conversation isn't to me. Is it a good
trade? Do they win? Like, yeah, they're the winners this trade.
I'm giving them a B. It's just, is this team ready
for me to be excited about them being able to contend for a championship
yet? And I think there's still moves to be made for me to feel that
level of good about the team, but they can make those moves still.
This is a good foundation shift. No matter what, you're better
off for the next five years having a trio of Tyrese, V.J.
Jalen Brown, than you were wherever you were a week ago.
Yeah. And championship is different because you have
San Antonio, you have OKC, you have the Knicks, but I mean, the Nix, I've like just lost Mitch
and their depth is in a weird place right now. The rest of the East is, it's good. Everybody has
questions. Everybody, like, the East is going to be very competitive. But right now, there's not
another team that is even creeping near Tier 1 status in terms of contenders. So for the Sixers,
they can, as currently constructed,
they could be the two seed if everything,
if everything goes right in the least.
Like they have a very, very good.
Yeah, that's certainly in the car.
Like they're not out of the running of anything.
They could be the one seat.
Like the Knicks champions,
they're up there.
Not a guarantee they're the regular season juggernaut
that represented by the playoffs.
The Sixers have as good of a chance as anybody
at being a surprise team at this conference.
Yeah, I was worried about the Sixers progression
in terms of like, what does the feature hold for them?
Like, are they just going to bank on
if Embed's healthy seasons?
For championships, yes.
Still kind of are.
Yeah, they still kind of are.
But yeah, that's why I do like this trade.
It just gives them a little bit more reassurance for the-
Yeah, the floor is certainly much better now.
Yeah.
Regular season perspective, this trade is incredible for that reason.
The floor is so much higher and what Jalen Brown can do in the regular season,
getting you just a crazy scoring duo with him at Maxi to win these Eastern Conference of regular season games.
You can't really be upset that they did this.
Yeah, not at all.
And I guess going back to what we said, like, Joe L'N. Bid is still like the biggest determining factor.
as to how we view this trade end up playing out into postseason shit.
Because Embed in this playmaking is really what can take this team to a whole different level.
And this is what we're asking for when it comes to Embed.
Can you develop into like a special pass?
I think we already know he's like very advanced for someone of his cap for someone of his archetype.
But we need to see that on a different level.
And their whole like game style, their play style and philosophy needs to be like severely changed.
Which it can't happen.
And we've seen that, like, happened this past season,
but now it needs to be even more dramatic.
That's a bigger point to me than the Tyrese-Maxi passing leap.
I think Tyrese Maxi's a fine playmaker,
but I don't think he'll ever become, like, plus-plus there, right?
We know he's there for his scoring.
He's speed and transition.
The fact he used that on defense, too, all this stuff.
Can Tyre, uh, Joel and Bede have a late career, like Bill Walton Ark,
where now we have two 30-point per game scores?
I don't need to score for real.
When I have benched units, I'll go and get my elbow touches, whatever,
but like, can I average 20 points per game?
with six and a half assists put more all my energy into defense and be this type of guy that's like
super sub bonus give me the glue to put everything together similar to cat but even more dramatically
true and i yeah yeah because cat did it by like doing what he does really well in a smaller
degree can you do something completely different can you play entirely different it's a lot's
to ask but he's the type of talent that like you can't do that like he can't do that like he's like
he is talented enough to make himself malleable i don't know i don't know what his mindset is there if
even wants to do that that's a big question but but
but he's capable for sure of playing that style.
Year 13 leap,
you know, like it's...
Leap isn't the word I'd use, though.
Adjustment, really, because it's a leap back.
You're doing less.
More of a...
I could see him. It's not a leap necessary.
We've seen him...
It's a metamorphosis, I guess.
We've seen him like...
Get in that cocoon and come out...
Yeah.
DeMontasibonis with juice.
Metamorphosis.
I haven't heard that name since, like,
fifth grade.
That's so crazy.
That name?
You knew somebody in name?
Say this.
That name.
The homie from back in the day.
It sounds like we all think the six just got better from this trade,
have some questions to answer,
and the Celtics have big questions to answer,
and there better be another move.
Otherwise,
we're going to have to keep a good eye on B-Souls for the rest of summer.
Yes.
It'll be right, man.
It'll be all right.
Let's talk about the next thing we're going to talk about today.
Also, thank you for the Jalaby.
Yeah.
Did you all see that?
Yeah.
So you actually sent it or?
I thought,
Loki, I thought that you just bought it and you just...
You want to shut up a movie?
All right, man.
And you just, like, credit it all right?
You thought you just bought it.
Why? You said that this was your order.
Yo, Isaac is a troll.
Bro sent me a 10 piece of jolaby.
This is the first I'm hearing about it.
I'm not going to lie.
I forgot what the time it was.
I just got to text you.
What's your address?
I'm like, all right, maybe I'm getting sent a shirt or something, you know.
What is he talking about?
All right, and this was my concern.
As I'm tweeting the post, I'm like, yo,
how do I prove that Isaac actually sent me this and I didn't just order this?
Why is he picking me to put it on?
Why am I the one that has all of a sudden do this?
This is insane gasoline.
He said you did it on your own.
I don't know.
What the hell?
Listen, you don't have to like be ashamed.
It felt good yesterday.
He was like, yeah, I'm about to go get my jolly bee.
I've eaten my sorrows away too.
I didn't come over here.
I'm living on Donovan.
Donald, why did you send me Sidabon?
Wow.
I'm going to hit the beat with my jolly bee.
What a 300 IQ player.
I'm boxed.
I'm boxed.
How do I get out of it?
I'm not going to keep going because I don't want to put too much attention on you, but Jesus.
Ah, man.
The jollybee was good, though.
I'm not going to lie.
I bet it was.
Hey, man.
My next five meals are set.
I'm not going to lie.
Five.
There you go.
You said,
you're lying.
What's your thing, buddy?
Next thing we're going to talk about, wow, that was 40 minutes on Jalen Brian.
We will have to be more prompt with the rest of this episode.
All right, let's speak through.
But, no, we had to give Beasholes of the.
of the avenue to get his tears off.
Let's talk about the Lakers,
because obviously that's been the most talked about thing,
the moves they made.
LeBron James says,
I'm out of here.
What do they do?
They have castaways to spend.
They give up all of their picks
in a sign and trade for Walker Kessler.
Luca demanded an A-list center.
They go out and they trade for a center
who I think has the obviously opportunity
to morph into an A-List center this year,
but it's not that now,
which is a key part of the conversation.
They spent all of their pick assets
and $32 million for a guy
who could potentially become an all-star level center,
obviously was met with a lot of mixed opinions,
most of which being,
I like Walker Kessler a lot,
Luca could change his life.
All your picks?
All of them?
There was a tweet from Legion Hoops that said,
the Lakers have no first-on picks for the rest of the decade,
and everyone said,
oh my God,
they're ridiculous,
and ran with that,
and that was the tagline that made them
and Rob Blink of the stupidest person on the planet.
How do you guys feel about this move
before we get into the rest of them?
I mean, so we talked
about it in our free agency prediction episode.
I really like this move.
I think out of all the centers that had that were in like this talent pool that they
could go out and get, I think Walker Kessler helps them the most more so than a Jalen
Duren more so than, well, outside of like a signing trade for Jared Allen.
But like signing Walker Kessler gives you a floor, I think defensively and it helps you
out a little bit.
We've seen his offense in spurts show flashes that it can morph into something.
else. I think as from 2024 and even before that, everyone kind of understood, you need to have a
big next to Luca and you need to, you need to provide him that type of support. And they went out
and they got him. And for a team like, I think part part of it is, Walker Kester's been on the
jazz his entire career. And nobody's caring about the jazz at all. And so he's going to get,
he's going to get to LA. He's going to play with Luca and he's going to catch passes.
that he's never caught before.
He's going to be in situations
that he's never been before.
He's going to try and win games
past Valentine's Day
for the first time in his entire career.
Play games past Valentine's Day
for the first time of the year.
This is going to be an entirely new situation
and I think it's set up for Walker Hesler
to be very, very successful.
And in turn, the Lakers also be successful.
I agree.
I have been getting harassed in my Twitter DMs,
people telling me that me and B.
Beasol should be crying together,
that I should be ashamed,
that Rob Polinka should be taken outside
to Town Square and stoned.
And I don't know
if I disagree with that last part, but not for this, not for this move. I'm gonna give it a B. I'm
very happy the fact that got Walker Kessler. The straight broke, I tweeted a video of Beasol's
dancing to celebrate and people were like, yo, why are you celebrating? You got fleeced by Danny
Aange. And what they mean by that is they gave up all their picks, right? Two first-on picks, two
swaps. So all they're left with now in their whole picks, a catalog for the moment is one swap in
I think 2031, whatever year, one of those years. Jesus Christ. And a second round pick.
that's obviously a bad place to be right
you give everything to get them
my question is what the fuck did you expect to happen
they had a sign and trade
with the restrict their free agent as their only avenue
to getting an elite player quote unquote
you know with assumptions
of leap there when we say elites
to pair with Luca
the other gym is Danny Aange
when we talked about it in our preview
I said I expect it'll take a first round pick
and a swap
Danny Aange also expected that and said
buddy if you don't want us to match it's going to be both
what is Rappling going to do
say nope I'm not going to get him
and I'm going to go to sign Mitchell Robinson and Rui instead.
I would have been irate if that was the room next year.
It was Mitchell Robinson and Aden.
The only path they had to being a surprising team that comes out
and while the roster is going to be imperfect,
we can say, whoa, this player making a leap is making them have a true big three
and all of a sudden the Lakers are better than we think was a guy like Walker Kessler.
You're going to have to overpay.
You're going to have to get fleeced.
That's just a tough situation you were in.
You have no picks because of previous moves,
which are Rob Blink's fault.
He's not out of blame here.
You have no picks because of the Russell Westbrook trade
and how we got here.
There was no scenario
in which they were going to
get Walker Kessler for a steal.
If you get a restrictive free agent,
you overpay.
That's how the NBA works.
So I'm not mad at that at all
for all the reasons you outlined.
He's going to make them better defensively.
I think offensively there's reason to believe
if he can make a massive leap,
the shooting signs he showed,
the lob credibility,
the fact that timeline-wise,
he lines up well.
We have him under control
for multiple years.
If the outcome was
you either overpay for Walker Kessler
or get no player
Walker Kessler's caliber,
you just have to overpay.
You just have to,
figure it out. Yeah. And that's why ultimately, surprising, I think I want to give this an A.
Walker Custer has been, again, like, cursed because he's playing, playing in Utah, and he hasn't
been playing in spring at all, bro. And I think there's so many things about Walker Cessor that
we tend to overlook because, again, no one cares because he played in Utah. He's one of the best
offensive rebounders that the league has to offer. He's been that for the last two years. Why,
why is that like a new thing? Not necessarily a new thing, but that doesn't, no one really thinks about
that because he hasn't played. He's one of the best
offensive rebounders. When it comes to being a
straight-up, like, drop big and a
rim protector out of
all the guys who has been available, over the last
two years, he's at the very top of that
list. When we ranked our centers last
year in our off-season
rankings, we normally do. You ranked them, I think,
22. I think I ranked him, 18.
You ranked him like 17. And we
ranked him right alongside someone like
Jalen Dern. Jalen Dern. Made
the leap. He was, I guess,
literally a top 15 player.
last season. Why would someone like me believe that someone like Walker Kester can't do the same
exact thing? And I think when it comes to Walker Kessler, too, they're at the baseline level,
you're getting a top five in protecting the league. You're getting one of the best rebounders
in the league, period. And that raises value immediately it's like one of the upper half centers
in the league. I think he's a top 10 guy for sure. But there's so much more left to his game that
hasn't been tapped because he's been playing with bullshit most of his fucking career.
Exactly. And I think the passing stuff is like the next level thing that.
that we haven't seen fully.
I don't know.
The shot is like weary
because he's like a 50%
free-d-s shooter.
It's cool.
But more and so interesting
me is the passing up stuff,
which I think JJ Redick would do wonders with.
I'm open to criticism in the move
because he's such an unknown.
And you're going all in literally
no more first-on-pick straightable
for a guy who played five games last year.
And like you mentioned before that
was a top 20 center in a league
and not top 10.
I agree though that if he was a clear-cut top 10 center in the league,
he would not be on this team right now
because he would not be leaving the jazz.
To make a move like this
have a ceiling, you had to bring on some elements of risk and some element to overpay with the
tough situation they were in. There was no path to an easy team building thing that we look up
and say they're as good as a spurs. The path to being as good as the spurs is hoping that
with Luca Donchich and with J.J. Reddick and with what should have been a year four leap if you
didn't hurt your shoulder, that you get that All Star leap from Walker Tessler. And I think
it's a very, very good bet. Whether or not it's going to happen, time will tell. That defines the
outcome of this team. That is a sound decision-making bet to me. And like you mentioned, when you
realize the fact that they had to overpay,
if they had done this at the deadline
and Walker Kessler had already proven to be
who we think it can be,
and they paid two first-on picks for him,
we wouldn't have been freaking out.
It's just the fact that it happened in this time,
plus you have to get the contract,
which makes people have that extra
you give up picks plus money.
The money was going to go to him regardless.
I don't think $32 million is an overpay.
If this happened at the deadline,
I think we would be so much more open to it.
Yeah, it's, I mean, listen,
it is some money, but I think you can't look at this
as, especially with the way that the league is,
you can't look at it as
we have a big three
and expect Walker Kessler to be like
I don't know like a
superstar I think he could be a very very good player
and even in Jalen Duren's case
the NBA stuff we understand how
the voting was going last year
we get that
but he was a meaningful
a meaningfully better player
last year than he was the year prior
can he be as good of Jared Allen next year
or Zubotch somebody who those type of guys
who rank is at the 10th best center
yeah yeah I was 100% can
And if he is that, this deal is worth it.
And it's tough that you don't have any more first-on-picks.
It's not ideal, clearly.
That's more about the situation they're in
than the fact that they get up two first-on picks for Walker Kessler.
And the alternative, again, going back and just running this thing back with Aiton.
Yeah, it just can't happen.
They probably would have got Mitch.
Yeah.
I don't know if that impacts you guys feel about it.
Mitch got announced to the Celtics literally one minute before the Kessler thing.
Pretty clearly they were waiting up to see if they got Kessler
so they could top the Celtics offer.
Would that move you more?
I assume, let's say they get him and then.
keep Rui. Probably not because I think for where, for where the Lakers are and what Mitch provides,
like, I don't think, even for the Celtics, like, you have all of these, like, starting, like,
you have these mockups. Mitch is not somebody that you can play 35 minutes a night. He's not somebody.
I'm expecting Kato to still start, right? Yeah. So you are expecting Robinson to come off the bench
just because of his stamina issues. And so I, I think for the Lakers, and especially,
where they are in their build,
you don't have anybody to compliment Mitch
and his skills that way.
So I think it would have been either worse.
Yeah, it would have been worse
than having Kessler,
and then it just would have moved me too much.
The hard part is having no picks.
Pick hell is overrated a little bit.
The sun is just traded a future first
from Miles Bridges.
Give it a year and all of a sudden
the pick hell is never quite as bad as it seems.
And people do act like,
people forget the stipend rule exists
that like next year,
year.
They're not going to have a
first-on-pick,
but the year after
that they're going to
draft a young guy.
Like, it's not
quite as dire as it
sounds when you see a
tweet that says,
no picks for a decade.
So it sucks, right?
It's not a good spot
to be in.
It's not this, like,
death note into what your team is.
But also, the thing
that really sucks is,
while it's possible
to continue to build a team
well in that scenario,
it requires cleverness.
Rob Plinka is not
clever at all.
Yeah.
So that's the downside.
I think you can laugh
with the Lakers
of the situation they're in
because Robelinka
is a certified bozo
and I don't trust him to figure out the margin moves.
But the Kessler move itself, I think I do like value-wise.
Yeah.
Just wait until the trade deadline.
He'll figure it out.
No, do nothing.
I don't know.
Trade deadline merchant, man.
That's his biggest weakness, honestly, man, when it comes to, like, finding moves around the margin.
He's literally like one of the worst in the league when it comes to that.
Really, there's not outside of nothing.
He is the worst in league when it comes to that.
No, yeah.
He has a least important.
He's just him making decisions.
And he is not that bright.
But another thing that helps me, like, makes me like this move, or at least like the
upside of Waukesha even more.
His light is dim
and it's been clear for years.
Who was the best guard
that Walker Knesser ever played with?
Kianti George.
Exactly.
He's played with no good passers,
literally zero good passers
and also zero good defenders
so it's not new to him.
Kiante George,
Colin Sexton,
Collier.
I mean,
Sexton's there now too.
Yeah.
Let's get into the rest.
So I think we all like
to Walker Kester move.
Rest of the signs will loop together.
Quinn Grimes making 14 million,
Mamu making 13 million.
Sexton making 9.5 million a year.
I will give that part of this
a C minus to D plus,
whichever way we want to frame it.
That is the part of this that sucks, I think,
is that they did not do a great job
with the rest of the moves
of the Capp's face outside of Kessler.
Didn't do a horrible job,
but it's not great.
Sandro, I like a lot.
I think having him,
Kessler and Aitin,
as a big man tandem
is going to be kind of excellent.
That moves me tremendously,
assuming Aiden stays a backup big
and hopefully he buys into that
who the fuck knows, right?
That trio, being able to run
Sandro, a backup five for small,
for a stretch big units
while also being your backup
power forward,
maybe starting power forward,
I don't know.
That moves me a lot.
His size,
shooting,
and dribbling capabilities
move me a ton
next to traditional bigs
like Walker Kessler and Aden.
I like that signing a lot.
Quinn Grimes is fine.
I wish it was 10 million,
but he's fine,
I guess,
as a six man.
Sex that I don't love.
Sex that I don't love at all.
Not whatsoever, really.
Yeah,
I mean,
the only thing that I can kind of like
weasel my way
to Sexton making sense
is because you can
kind of pencil in that maybe Luca might miss
a couple games. Austin Rees has been
hurting, has been hurting here and there, so you
need some type of score. If there's
one thing that Sexton can't do, he can put
the ball in the goddamn basket.
Yep. So I guess I could kind of see
that. They do need a backup ball handler.
You're right. It just sucks knowing
you lost Marcus Smart for $7 million. But to be
fair, maybe Marcus Smart just wanted to go to Texas
and wanted to be a rocket. We don't really know.
If Rob Blinkett chose not to match that,
that sucks because I think a good GM would have had the negotiations with the jazz.
They say, we're going to give Walker this money.
You don't want to pay him this.
Let him come to us.
Danny Aange says, no, give us all your picks.
He says, okay.
Right.
I think a good GM would have said, also you're taking Vando then, or you're taking Aiton
then.
And that opens up the money to save and get smart.
Or somebody else, one more defendant to make you feel good about this.
Yeah.
He couldn't get that done.
That screams to me, you're just not a good negotiator.
You're just not a good people person that's able to give and take.
just got fleeced, right?
You gave them the exact best case scenario with zero drawback for them.
That sucks.
Maybe another smart GM would have said,
Quinn Grimes,
you're taking 10 instead of 13.
Sandro,
you're taking 10 instead of 13.
There's the money there to give Smart.
Like,
they should have had one more good player on this team in some way.
Yeah,
even if,
I think Smart would have probably been gone regardless
because I think he's from Texas.
And I know he went to school in Texas too.
So he's probably good as gone.
But at the end of the day,
you're right.
If it's not smart,
there's some other greedy defenders.
that I think is like completely missing from this team at all.
Your priority defense is fucked right now.
It's absolutely cooked.
And to be fair, they can still sign like Matisse Taible for the minimum.
And I think with the Lucca team specifically, with the crazy floor he brings offensively,
you can actually start Matisse Taible, I think be fine,
who's just a pure stand in the corner, do nothing but shoot threes.
You can get away with that with this team, right?
I guess.
They're currently trying to get Camingo.
That's like not even a rumor.
They're currently trying to figure out a way to pay Caminga.
I guess.
They need power forwards.
I guess, not a great defender, but like,
offensively, I think this is going to be a great offensive team regardless.
I guess I understand the Kaminga fit there.
They are not going to walk into this season
with us feeling like they have a starting shooting guard
and starting power forward that we feel great about.
And that's unfortunate.
Yeah, I'll go see.
I think the years, the four-year deals is like, dang, it's a little weird.
I like that, though.
Because we need players that are actually here.
for longer than one year than opting out and leaving.
That's fair.
The Mahmoo signing, it's okay.
I don't think I'm as moved as you are on it.
Like, it's whatever to me.
You just still have a lot of holes.
I think once you put yourself in a situation
when you're like, hey, man,
what's coming in doing right now?
Then it really is like, okay, did we mess up the process?
Like, or did we take a misstep somewhere?
So I think even after you go out and you get the tweets and it's like,
Laker sign and Laker sign and Laker sign and they were just so active to still at the end
of the day look at your roster and say, while we still have two to three holes on this team
that still need legitimate filling, I'm not super high on everything that they did outside of
the Kessler move.
I agree.
But also, so all that said, we like Walker Kessler Move.
We don't love what they did in free agency.
the cumulative effect of that is people being like playing team
you're substantially worse than last year
I'm not going to go that far
the ceiling of this team where everything we're talking around
let's say they sign they're going to sign more players right
they have two veteran minimums
the Lakers are good for a good reclamation project
at the minimum every year they got smart in this way last year
they'll probably get one more let's say it's Tybal
and I don't fucking know KCP whatever right
they try to reclaim him we'll see
or maybe they do get
Camingo and Tybal is the rest of their offseason
and they start those two guys
and we just fucking hope
they figure it out.
The scene of this team
is purely, purely defined
by the leaps that young players can make.
Obviously, Walker Kessler.
If he is the 15th best center in the league
and he's a very good defender
but still raw and offense or whatever,
kind of unfortunate for what they give up.
If it becomes a top 10 center,
shit changes real fast because you have three, you know,
star players or whatever the fuck, right?
Pillars.
The real ceiling of this team is defined
by Cameron Carr and a dutero.
This to me,
me the fact that they put their money to guards and bigs is they believe these young guys can
be like back of wings. A do zero. A do zero. Second round pick from last year. That's the scary
proposition that I got a bet on two young wings to be the bench wings. And I think this does show
that they clearly believe in them to some degree. I have no reason to have faith in that, that they're
going to be playable next year. But if they are, those two guys are athletic as fuck and those two guys
as athletic bench wings.
And if they're playable to some degree,
I won't even put any type of like expectation
on what that means.
But if they're playable 50 minutes a game guys,
being that athletic,
that makes this team pretty good, I think.
They're going to be good.
Just because Luca's there and the floor of the team
is not going to be super low.
They are a,
they're a year away from being actual contenders,
which I was a little bit more open to it.
Maybe it's because I don't really like the Lakers.
I'm okay with them being impatient.
But I'm like, yeah, like you, you probably do have just a little bit more time
to fully start building out this team around Luca.
I know you're a little bit more impatient with it and saying, like,
you really have to start doing that right now.
But also, what does that mean?
I don't mean they have to be a 1C right now.
I mean, they have like the core together and feel good about them being the
4C river right now.
Do you feel like they did that?
For C, yeah.
Yeah, they can definitely be the 4C.
I'm saying in terms of San Antonio's over there.
Okay, C's.
over there, can you, can you look them in the eye right now? And they, they can't do that right now.
No. No. And that's, that's where I feel like going into next year, it's next year is the year where I will
be expecting them to make a move or to, or to have grown together enough to where I can say you can
look those two teams in the eye. It, it, I can understand how it's frustrating because you got Luca
a year and a half ago and you're like, okay, we have to hit the grid. It's like year three now. Yeah, yeah,
have to hit the ground running and before you know you're going to look up in five years
to pass and it's like damn we're like we're still trying to build this team out so I understand
the urgency but next year is probably where I'm fully going to start believing in in the lakers
from a roster spot one through 10 being championship level let's put in our minds just for because
we're recording this we don't know who the last two spots are going to be let's put kCP
and matthi stable on this team it just simplicity sake right okay as backup defenders or starting
whatever you want.
How different is this team
in the 2024 Mavs?
Because obviously you have Luca
who skinny Luca now
I think he's kind of about the same guy.
Even in 24 he was jump shot Reliance.
Austin Reeves and
well how old was Kyrie at the time
34? 33.
Probably like 30s at the time?
I think he was like 32.
He's like 35 not right.
I think he's 34.
Okay whatever.
2024 Kyrie.
Austin Reeves.
I suppose you do trust Kyrie more
in the playoffs clearly.
Is the gapler big?
No, because Kyrie even in those playoffs is really shaking as well.
In the finals, you don't remember, but it was not good.
I think they're kind of similar players and their strengths and weaknesses.
Now it sounds crazy because Kyrie's names, Kyrie Irving, and Austin reviews is a zero-time wallster or white boy.
Like, we know how it goes.
I don't think that's that different in terms of slotting in Luca teammates.
Walker Kessler, Aiton, Mamu as a small ball center at times, had his that stack up to
lively Gafford and Kleeva.
Probably a little bit better.
Better, right?
Assuming Blockler is who we think he is?
Yeah.
Yeah, but I think that's that's really hinging on Kessler.
Yes.
More so than Aiton and Am I.
I think Aten and Gaffert are pretty similar.
Yeah.
In terms of abilities.
They're definitely capturing the, the Mavs ethos in terms of like what they want from a team, from a team construction.
Grimes on that team too, by the way.
Yeah.
And having and also just like spiritually having a lot of white boys as well.
Yeah.
The most white boys.
We didn't even talk about that.
Snow time.
Snow time, Lakers.
It's crazy.
I didn't not see that.
That's good writing, man.
That's fantastic.
I also saw a Laker spelled out in the way you think it would with this implication.
A little bit too on the nose.
Yeah, not to on the nose.
So the difference there in these teams is the wings.
Is PJ Washington and Daniel Jones, Derek Jones, Jr.
That's a difference, right?
You don't have space for Rui, right?
What did you say?
You guys don't have space for Rui now?
They can get creative and figure it out.
I'm not anticipating they do.
There's no creativity happening here.
So that is report today too.
They're trying to figure out Kaminga and Rui
if they can keep them in some way.
It's not impossible,
but we'll see.
It probably dictates if the Pistons are willing to give
Rui a bigger number than the Lakers can.
So they're going to have to get rid of like Vanderbilt
and like La Ravia and some of these like wasted contracts.
It really this completely hinges on the fact that can a two zero
camera car be Derek Jumption your next year.
You know what's so funny too.
If you go back to that 2026 live stream drive,
that we did, I did say if I'm comparing Cameron Carr to a player to Derek Jones Jr.
And that's simply because he's a fucking high flying wing, long ass wing span.
Not necessarily like the greatest creator in terms of for others at all, but he's like a simple 3D and also like a high flyer, which perfectly meshes.
But the difference is I don't know how consistent he can be defensively.
That's always been like a talking point for Cameron Carr and his ceiling in the league.
If he was like that defensively, he's a lottery thing.
And he's a rookie. He's skinny.
Like, I'm not 10.
But he is an older rookie though.
He's 21 going to finish season 22.
So that, like, it lends me to hope that, okay, he should be a little bit more refined.
Correct.
Potentially.
And Addu Thero going to year two.
His first year he was injured.
He's incredibly athletic, like more athletic than Cameron Carr.
He's a crazy jumper.
He's thick to him.
He has some size of 6-7.
We'll see if he can shoot going to year two.
We don't know.
He's a second round pick from last year.
That, again, going to year two.
I kind of have some more faith in him just because of his build and what this team needs.
he has the opportunity.
If he can be Derek Jones Jr.
next year,
which I don't think
it's a crazy bar
for a young player,
honestly,
this team can be just as good
as a 24 match to me.
But we're relying on,
like we said,
two completely
unproven young players.
Yeah.
It's a lot of leaps
to have to have.
It's a lot of leaps.
And that's the thing.
They could have ran it back
and had the same team
and had no leaps needed.
They'd be a 52-win team
and we'd feel fine.
They'd be okay, right?
Falinka would have less people
yelling at him.
Or they can put a particular team like this
that has a lot of leaps
that need to be taken.
but if they go and these strategic bets work out well,
that could be a better team than the other option.
And I'm cool with that.
I know it sucks and I have any picks.
I know Belink is a fucking moron.
We don't have faith in him to figure it out.
I'm cool with the best they took in the grand scheme of things.
And in the situation where this doesn't work out,
it can go bad real quick.
They can be just one of those middling teams
in the Western Conference that can be annoying out in the playoffs.
And then because they have no picks,
I can see their next move being Austin Reeves.
fucking suck, you know, but he would be like the next guy that a lot of teams would be like,
ooh, he could fix our team.
Yep.
So long story short, everybody wants me to be crying about the state of the Lakers and other
fans of teams are obviously making fun of them for being morons getting with their picks.
I'm not really upset.
It's not the perfect outcome.
If they kept Marcus Smart, maybe I would have been like actively happy about the offseason.
It's fine to me right now.
And we'll see if they can pull a rabbit out of a hat to get one more piece to make it like great.
Maybe we'll see if the Thunderstone would I dump a blue dort and then we can do some type of a thing like that.
If they do that, I'd actually feel quite good.
Dude, didn't Jackson Hayes get a Slovenian passport this year?
Like, didn't he become an actual citizen?
He became an actual citizen.
Just to get back door.
It's hilarious, bro.
Man, does I make me happy.
That adds a letter great to my team, not having to see that motherfucker on my team.
He is crazy.
Oh, my God, Jackson, Ace.
He wanted so bad to keep a job next to Luca.
And Lucas said, I mean, he's all right.
I had nothing to do with that.
Because he is a ho and he is a woman beater, and I'm so happy he's not on my team anymore.
It is great.
to not have to root for Jackson Hayes.
So it goes up to a B for you?
Yeah, B plus.
Yeah, yeah.
And also we mentioned things this team hinges on.
Is the Andrean open of being a backup center?
Me, he better be.
Who gives a damn if he's open or not?
I don't care.
I mean, like, is he going to be good?
Because, like, they need him to be a good backup center.
Not open, like, he has anything to do with it,
but is he going to pout and be shitty?
Or is he going to be, oh, that's actually a great backup center to have.
He was going to pout if he was starting.
Well, I think one else for different reasons.
Sure.
Like, he's a powder.
I do think he's a powder.
I think what element is too is interesting is, remember early season he was fucking eating.
We were like, whoa, crazy value signing.
That stopped exactly when LeBron came back.
That was like one too many malice defeat scoring wise.
So his touches went down.
There's no LeBron now.
It's Luca and Reeves and feed the bigs.
So he's going to get less minutes now.
He's not going to put points per game.
But I think when he's on the court, he will get fed a little more.
Yeah.
Is he going to be a really good backup center to have?
A little super sub.
For sure.
I think he's one of the better.
He could be in theory.
He should be one of the best backup centers in the entire league.
Key phrase.
In theory.
That's precise what I'm asking.
Because in theory, it's a great sign for 8-mill to be a backup center.
How do we much should we trust that?
Because if that does go to theory, this could be one of the best center rotations in the league.
Yes, but you have to do what basically we do every year with Dandre Aiden and.
Cross our fingers.
Cross your fingers.
Roll the ball out.
Exactly.
Run the experiment.
Let's see what happens.
Last year we got good and bad, both.
And precisely the ways you would imagine.
He had the most lobs in the NBA last year was a top three most efficient big in the league with Jalen Dern and Gobert.
January happened and he was
goddamn cataclysmic.
Up and down's left and right.
What are we going to get with him in a backup roll?
We'll see.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Man, the team is white.
You better hope.
Dude, and though,
for some reason,
white players don't look good in these
laker jersey suit, man.
It's too bright yellow.
It's not a good color.
It's a type of yellow, yeah, it's bad.
That's why they wear black a lot, by the way.
And they were their purples a lot.
They don't know nothing about color theory.
What if,
what,
I'll be like, yo, all right.
This is like an A plus offseason, man.
Comes back for the minimum.
Yeah.
I'm like, yo, okay.
Night's willing to take it.
Sure.
I am happy here.
Walker changed my mind.
That'll be cool as fuck.
I was, all right, bro.
So what are you thinking of four C for this team next year?
Probably three Ced, honestly.
Three or four?
I'll say I can go three if they do one more move like that.
Like if they somehow did the Ludoort thing and they wanted to dump them together
the second apron and they like sent the Thunder, La Ravia.
And then the Nets took Vanderbilt's contract and a pick swap.
The Lakers get door.
then I'll be moved.
Yeah,
then I'm like,
now we're cooking.
I need something
sure fire.
They can,
they can be the three seed
right now.
They can,
they can, but I won't feel confident.
Like,
yeah, Tim Bulls are going to be really good.
The Nuggets should,
the Nuggets should,
the Nuggets to the three seed.
The Rockers are going to be good
with Fremblee and Adams coming back.
Like,
they're not confidently the three seed.
They're in the mix.
Yeah.
But they can just as easily
be the six seed right now.
You know how it goes.
Look with him.
Two games.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, everything's decided
by two games.
Like, can you avoid a two-week stretch where you lose four out of six?
If you can do that and you don't fall super far behind it, anybody else, yeah, you can be the 3C.
Okay.
But we should view them, I think, on the lower end of that tier two right now.
For sure, I do.
If they get a door at Tybal, whatever, then I think we can see them being in the same mix with those other teams.
I'm praying for Matisse Taible right now.
Wow.
Well, I actually think it's kind of, like, decent for this team.
I'm saying that the name is funny.
He actually, I think, would be good.
But it's funny that I'm like, well, yeah, I can tell myself with the Tisdibble will be cool.
And you're also praying for Kaminga, man.
No, I'm not.
There you are.
Other Lakers fans are, I don't go to fuck fuck, Manga.
If it happens, I think I'll allow myself to, like, enjoy the point of it offensively.
I don't get a little fuck about Kaminga as far as fixing the defense.
Oh, man.
But do you think Luca would fix him?
No, absolutely.
No, absolutely not.
Just Stefan, Draymond, and Steve Kirkin.
What the fuck is Luca doing?
Well, maybe he has, maybe his ego can be pushed down a couple of tears since then.
Maybe he'll have to be.
So if he comes, he's going to pay like $6 million.
He's going to have to be the last chance you situation.
He's going to have to lock in a little bit.
There's people on Last Chance 2 that don't make it.
To me, that is a...
So then what happens after that?
You stop playing.
For me to say somebody in the last chance you know
and they won't make it is a stinging indictment on their character.
I don't know if I can give that to Camingo.
There's...
But we also could.
We could.
Not whether it be basketball or football,
not every player on these Last Chance U's go on to get back to D1.
Most don't.
Actually, like 90% of them don't.
Yeah.
Very few do.
That's crazy.
Most likely, you are lashing you and you're not going to make it.
Yeah, I'm not necessarily wanting Camiga, but it kind of seems like they might get them.
Yeah.
And it'll be whatever.
All right, that is hour one.
We talked about the two biggest things that just happened, Jalen Brown and the Lakers moves.
Now we have another hour to fly through the rest of these giving our quick grades.
Oh, John Morant is a member of the Portland Trailblaish.
Let's talk about that next.
This is a strange one because when Jammer rant first became like,
a problem for the Grizzlies a year ago at the end of the 2024, 2025 season and we
started talking about theoretical trades.
I was so like gung-ho, he's going to be a Trailblazer.
I called the fuck at that.
But that was a year ago before Denny broke out, before Dame came back.
I had no expectation he'd be a Trailblazer now.
But we called this a year ago.
How does it feel now to see that come to fruition?
It's crazy.
And I think the fact that we're transitioning into this hour of the show and you're like,
oh yeah, that happened.
Nobody can't.
No one cares.
It's a D.
I think,
I think for the Blazers,
it really is,
what the hell are y'all doing?
And not even in like a true derogatory way,
but really like,
what is the plan of this team?
Because I don't know what you're cooking.
I can't see the vision from the outside looking in.
You have,
you have game coming back.
You have Jod.
Scoot is there.
Drew is still there.
Shading Sharp is still there.
And at,
at once,
you have plenty of guards.
on your team. And at the same time, you have no guards on your team. I don't, I don't understand
what they're, it's so crazy. We all kind of like this a year ago when we talked about it, didn't we?
Yeah, but the consciousness team was so different. Very different. And the context of John Morant was
very different. We knew he was slowing down last year, but we still had like hope that maybe a new
situation can fix him. They weren't running picking rolls last year. It's not his fault. And this
year, he looked even worse. So I guess, Moe, the question is knowing what you know about John
Morant and the fact that the rim pressure has gone down year by year. And he doesn't
move the same and the weaknesses are still just as weak as I've ever been. Do you have faith that
a team like the Trail Wizards should feel like they can take a swing and get the best out of him
again? Is there a ceiling of an All-Star again? For John Morant and him alone, yes, I'm always
going to give someone like him the benefit of the doubt. It's hard to because, of course, like,
the athleticism conversation is like, it is what it is. That should don't, if once it goes,
it goes. And that's what his game is like completely built around. But,
but I'm going to always try to hope for the best.
And I guess it's like, what's weird, though, is like,
this is not the best necessary scenario for him
because there's so many other things that's going on
and none of these guys will help make his game look better
because the spacing has already been fucked.
It's 10 times worse with him on the roster.
You said two things.
You said you'll always get him benefit for the doubt
and you'll hope for the best.
I'll do the second part of that.
I will hope that we get a John Moran and bounce back
because I want that for him.
I will not give him the benefit of doubt.
This is a cool C to me.
You gave up nothing of merit.
it so it's a fine swing.
If you're the troblasers,
why not see if John Moran
is something if it's literally free?
You got a contract you don't want anymore
and Chris Murray, who's Chris Murray.
It's free.
I guess you can take the risk.
If he sucks, he doesn't matter.
You have all these guards.
You can just bench him forever
and not play him and his career
is like cooked.
It doesn't matter to you.
To do what though?
Like, you're bringing him in
to, are you bringing him in
for him to be the face of your franchise?
No, that's Denny.
He's gonna be Denny's psychic.
See, the goal would be he's a table setting point guard now
That doesn't need to score a lot of points to be good
That he can be pure point guard
That dame's here now but dame is 35 post-Aquilles
We don't really have expectations of him being like our long-term starter
Scoot is going to be a future shooting guard that plays off ball
And finds value there
So Drew's also going to get traded he's old
That's fine
And ideal world if it works
We have Joss, Scoot, Denny, Klingin
Kamara as our team going forward
And that's a new addition of now we have two guards who can create for others
And make things happen
That just feels like a team
that's like prime to make a trade in the future and I do really view jaw as like John Portland
as a pit stop because I don't know how this Portland team can have Denny have scoot have clinging
and all that and then be like you know what's missing John Moran let's cash in on that that's so
weird you know yeah I think they want to sit down have him here have him here build up his
value and then once he gets to a certain point flip him and that probably makes sense I don't think
he's necessarily here to like stay and grow or anything like that
at all.
They just seen a good literal, like, you ever seen one of my favorite, like, view,
one of my favorite type of content to consume on the internet, it's like, people go into
storages and like buy them for like $10.
Rummage through the shit.
And they're like, oh my God, look, this old cool saxophone or whatever the fuck.
Holy shit, it's worth $1,800.
Boom.
Now you're up like 16.
70.
They just be lying about the prices.
Yeah.
Oh, vintage dresses.
That's $2,200.
They just adding up all the fucking numbers on the screen.
Oh, look, some old phones.
That's $3,000.
Facts.
Said who?
A tax letter, 4,800.
I guess.
I want to do that shit one day for real.
Oh, it's a bunch of coins.
That's probably about $1,000.
I guess.
I've seen a lot of them.
You piss me off.
Facts.
Yeah, I think it's a...
No more than my childhood, man.
Oh, you like Storage Wars?
Storage Wars is my bad.
Love pawn stars.
Fond stars, okay.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, it's a low-risk thing for...
to get Jah.
You can't really criticize them too much,
but you can have little faith.
You can just be like,
who cares?
But I think you can't really hate the move
because it literally doesn't matter.
No,
like you got off the Jeremy Grant contract.
Yeah.
And like for anybody else in the league,
if you were trading Jeremy Grant to them,
you would have had to attach a pick to it.
And the fact that you didn't have to do that
and you still got off his money,
it's good.
This literally doesn't matter.
So what,
there's no downside,
like,
at all.
N.
I mean,
no downside?
No,
like literally none.
Just because like he does not matter.
Like if the league said we don't value him, we don't want him.
You can have him for free.
A free asset is there's a bet with no downside.
Yo, Jeremy Grant saw like 37, 38% from the field.
Not this past season, but two seasons go.
I had a better season.
But he's like not a real asset in the league today.
If he sucks, we send him home, it doesn't matter.
Then we'll salary down from the summer.
Like somebody else takes him for free.
And if he's good and he rekindles everything we once did,
worked on his game, rounded out his skill set so he can be good without the leaping.
Cool.
Now we got a great point card for nothing.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You got none to lose.
Do I think that's going to happen?
I don't know.
But it's fine to try.
Someone had to try.
That's a bar,
I like that.
Yeah, someone had to do it.
All right.
Lamello ball to the Timberwolves.
We talked about those already.
We didn't grade it, though.
What do we grade it for the Timberwolves first,
getting lamello ball to pair with Anthony Edwards?
I will go with the B.
Okay.
I think this is their all-in-play,
and your all-in-play is getting somebody that,
theoretically,
is kind of complimentary to Anthony Edwards
and can take,
a lot of the offensive load off of him and make his job easier.
So you know what?
It's good.
I think that the rest of the roster is a,
it's a product of the moves that they made in previous years.
And so you can't, you can't fault them in this,
in grading this specific trade.
So getting off of,
of Nas Reed and going to,
to La Mellible and now you have one of the more dynamic backcours in the NBA.
I do think ultimately that is a positive thing.
for the timboros.
Yeah.
B plus is perfect, I think, for everything you said.
I'm going to give it an A.
You set everything for me.
You keep it short.
Yeah.
Again, for the past two years,
since Mike Colony became clearly washed,
we've been begging for Anthony Edwards
to play with a star guard.
Every time we talk about trades
and what they can do to find the next era
and, you know, move well after the Count Carlton Town trade,
every time people have theorized
the perfect star to pair with him,
they said Kevin Durant,
Anthony Davis, whatever.
I've been like, no, no.
shut all that shit up, get him a point guard, please.
The fact that the last year, Anthony Edwards had a masquerade as a point guard
and be the lead initiator is maybe good for his development long term,
I guess, if we're going to still think that's a thing.
Jason Kitchit.
Terrible way to use him, I think.
He is one of the best off-all players in the NBA,
let him be a shooting guard, let him focus on defense a little bit,
do all the things that we know we can do with the point guard.
Lamella ball is a perfect point guard offensively for that.
Yeah.
Wait, can you put the picture again?
The tweet.
he has enough tattoos for the both of them
he does he does
question will be
are these two in a room good for each other
can these guys make smart decisions together
on the court and off the court
is this a good synergetic duo as people
I think so as people
yeah fuck no you know yeah as people
like you need maturity on the court off the court
we'll just lead to a good team culture
I don't have my comedy anymore
yeah I think the team culture is going to be fantastic
are you fun yeah
what happens in the going gets tough
I mean, Aunt
is a good leader.
It's a great leader. Actually, fantastic.
That's what I'm saying.
Like, in terms of, like, we make all these jokes.
I've heard a lot of, obviously, of the quips and stuff.
Ant got Rudy Gobert and Carl Hethy Towns to fully buy in and had that team going.
Like, he is one of the better leaders in the league.
And so when it comes to culture or what the Timberwolves are going to do,
I actually have a lot of faith in him as,
the table setter for this team and we go as I go.
So he can fix Lamello?
Low key, yeah.
Okay.
I actually do believe in him.
Then that's a reason to give them an A.
If he can fix Lamello and get only the good and not the bad,
he looks in the eyes and says stop taking those goddamn 30 footers off one leg.
Are you crazy?
And he stops doing that and just does the amazing pace and space stuff,
getting up lots of threes next to him, plays good Lamello basketball,
not crazy Lamello basketball.
Yeah.
If he can scare him straight, A.
Scare him straight.
A.
What are the hornets. trading Lamello ball,
a move we didn't see coming.
really, really shocked the world.
Lamello Ball was on a new team
after a year in which they dominate
the second half of the season.
Didn't get a whole lot for him.
You have Nause Reed now,
who you're going to have
probably the best spacing in the NBA.
He also traded Maws Bridges,
which we can loop into this in a little bit.
Oh, well, if you look at it.
Oh, get off of Mous Bridges?
Hey!
Hey!
Hey!
Yeah, man, what?
Fuck yeah.
Fuck him.
Hey.
Hell yeah, man.
You got a future first-on pick from Mawsbridge.
That's a great piece of business.
You get, was it two first-time picks for Lamello.
and Nasreed.
Yeah.
And there's some of the swaps in there.
And some of the swaps
are like fake as hell.
And then you get Royce O'Neill,
who's like had a really good season last year
and Grayson Allen too,
another really good shooter.
Hey man.
You have all the shooters in the world.
You're one point guard away
from being completes.
Chris Anderson,
what are you ready to do,
yeah, pretty much.
I think we talked about it in our recap episode.
So if you guys want more in-depth ideas of this,
we have 30 minutes on our channel right now
about this trade,
I can respect getting off a lamello.
100%.
I am not the biggest
lamello guy.
I respect the season last year,
respect the way he carried the offense
and the on-off numbers are so crazy.
I think this is
Trey Young and trade all over again
and their bets they're trying to make
are similar to the bets
the hawks tried to make.
Problem is their defense isn't good enough
for them to have that same exact recipe,
but I respect them trying to get off of him
as soon as they feel like he had value.
I don't think the package they got from
specifically was all that great,
so I will go B-minus.
I agree. Or C-plus, something like that.
I agree.
Okay.
The process is good.
don't love the value though so it can't be a yeah if nozre was a point guard maybe i feel really good
yeah but what if they're just like the best offense in the league next season again yeah yeah
it would surprise me if like but of course like chris hanner has christ hars to be like that so that
would be surprising but if they if you tell me brandon miller took a leap and now he's like this
perennial 23 point per game score con canipa was like has some growth and he's a 20 point of game
score or two.
Nasree, it has more opportunity.
This team is just, like, mad,
annoying to deal with offensively.
So it wouldn't surprise me.
Definitely.
Okay.
Next thing.
Let's talk about the Miles Bridges,
traded for by the Sons.
A plus, obviously, for the Hornets,
getting rid of Miles Bridges' ass and getting a first-on-pick for him.
Awesome for the Hornets.
How do we feel about the Phoenix Suns,
a team that was in Pick, Hell,
for having a new owner's syndrome and trying to use all their picks at once,
trying to rebuild the right way from the middle.
How do we feel about the trading Royce and Neal and Grayson Allen?
an unprotected
233 pick
for Miles Bridges
to be good in 2026.
I'm sorry,
I asked you guys how you feel.
I don't give a fuck how you feel.
This is an F.
Now, you mentioned earlier how...
I'm not saying no words about this.
Like, this is a fucking F.
What are they?
Why are they who committed to being stupid?
Exactly.
You mentioned earlier how
people saying how teams are in pick hell
is overblown.
It's not overblown for the Phoenix
specifically because they don't have
a Luca Donches.
They don't have someone who's a top 10 player.
Shout out to Devin Booker.
not what he used to be at all.
It's ass.
This is a terrible trade.
This team has all the...
This team is, like, perfect
for other teams to pick at
and trade for these guys
at the deadline.
Devon Booker,
Dylan Brooks,
Miles Bridges.
They also kept Mark Williams
and whom else am I forgetting
in the starting lineup.
We put up.
But nevertheless,
it's full of like...
Royce O'Neill?
Well, he got traded in this.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
It's full of, like,
good, interesting players
that I guess you can...
Oh, Janlon Green.
Jayne Green is shooting guard.
So it's like a bunch of guys that you're like,
okay, those are B plus starters.
I can sell myself in that being good pieces
that you combine them all.
You have this like role player team
that's pretty cool.
Probably what, 233 unprotected first
is assonine for a pretty cool role player team.
Yo.
Oh, they got Luke Gnard.
It's enough.
Shout out to Michigan State, man.
They got all the Michigan State guys in the building.
That's what it is for real.
It's disgusting work.
They got a lot of good players.
And I suppose when you're in this position,
all you can do,
should I get a bunch of good players
and hope you can hope for the best, I guess.
Maybe Coa Pete becomes a fucking All-Star out of nowhere.
And we're like, whoa, all of a sudden it makes sense.
It's Coa Pete.
It's tough.
This team is ridiculous.
Can we talk about things that matter now?
Can we talk about for the first time a team mattering in the Toronto Raptors?
Oh my God.
How did I forget to mention him already?
Quaid Leonard is back to the Raptors.
I completely forgot.
Kauai Leonard, back to the Raptors.
You ship out Brent.
And in Ingram, Grady Dick, two first round picks.
Basically exactly what we said would be in the free HD preview
when those were when we started happening.
How do we feel about the duo of Scotty and Kauai?
Okay.
You gave up a good amount two first round picks and a pick swap.
That's a lot, you know.
But I can understand it because Toronto, for whatever reason,
no matter what they do,
they always have to overpay for everything that they get.
Maybe it's because they're in Canada,
a whole different country.
I don't know.
But at the end of the day,
I love it considering they prove
to the entire league last year
that they are a good productive
basketball team. And what they further
did was get rid of one of the most
unproductive players that I've seen in the
playoffs over the last few years in Brandon
Ingram, who literally had to
not be playing, had to be hurt
in order for this team to be better.
Ingram in the playoffs last year, he
had like average like 12 points.
So like 32% from the fucking field.
Kauai Leonard is better than him
in every single metric
in basketball, bro. He does,
everything better. And when it comes to
things that going back to what you said about Anthony
Edwards and the type of players that you'd like to see him
play alongside, we've been saying it for the longest too
when it comes to Scotty Barnes. We want to see him with the
flamethrower. We want to see him with someone who's a pure bucket
and Quylinard displayed. He is
all that and more
last season. I love this.
Guys, this is literally Jordan and Pippin.
All right.
To be Jordan and Pippin.
Yo, so boing, boing, oh my God.
I'm kidding.
I'm kidding.
So poignant, boy.
But when they got Brandon Ingram, we were like, I don't really like Brandon Ingram anymore.
But you do need a type of bucket getter that can operate from the mid-range and be a self-creator next to Scottie Barnes.
At least we'll see Scottie Barnes with, like, teammates that can do something.
So he's not in the space he was in 2024 when it was him trying to self-create with nothing around him.
At least we have that.
Here comes Brandon Ingram that, like you said, is better at everything.
thing. This is mega evolution,
Brennan Ingram here.
It's glove and hand fit.
It is the perfect fit here.
If they get a center that's not Yaku Pertil
or maybe Yacoperto's healthy next year and bounces back,
I guess. I don't know if I should have any faith in that.
I'm moved.
If they trade Emmanuel quickly in another pick
or young player for Drew Holiday,
I'm fucking moved.
They're one piece away on either end of the lineup
for me to be fucking moved.
Yeah. The six is back.
And it's like,
I love this trade so much too.
They did overpay a little bit,
but they also kind of had to,
to again, get off of Brandon Ingram
because Ingram's a bad contract.
Yeah, it's one first-on pick to dump Ingram,
one for Kauai.
So I don't even think they overpay, really.
It's two first-round picks.
I know, one for dumping Ingram,
one for getting Kauai.
And then there's a swap as well,
which is a lot.
I guess.
That's a lot.
Swap, swap.
But again, Ingram's not on this team.
Grady Dick has been like a wildly
disappointing young player in this league.
A, I'm down.
I love it.
They're going to be really good.
Yeah.
And when it comes to tears of NBA,
season next season. Yo, if I don't know where you tell me,
Scottie Barnes, he continues to do his thing and develops more
Kawhi's regular Kawhi, which I don't know if I can say that
because he's been irregular consistently throughout his career.
But you tell me he has a normal season next year.
And then on top of that too, yo, Colin Murray Boyles.
If he continues to get better, which he literally will,
yo, this team is going to be filthy next year.
Go get Drew Holiday and I'm going to say you're better than the six years.
And I won't hesitate.
I think this is the top three.
This could be a top three, top three team in the East next year.
It can be.
One more move and I'll say like, I'm going to pick them top three.
Yeah.
Whether it be center and point guard, top three.
Is the East stronger than the West?
We'll see how these teams will nap out.
We'll see.
I like the reasons on paper.
I just think giving up a lot for, like I said,
giving up a lot for Kauai at this point in his career.
That's just not my personal.
Is that a lot, though?
We just said it's not a lot for Jalen Brown
and now it is a lot for Kauai.
Like, it's two first on picks, a lot.
nothing. I think, well, I think Jalen Brown at this point in his career and the availability
that he provides and the lack of track record of not being there for, for Kauai at 35. I think
those two things are different. And so it, that's the only thing where me and my organization,
we probably would have pulled the, pull the trigger on this, but. But mind you, though,
but it's, it's still, it's still, you've been calling for Brandon, calling, calling, putting
Brandon English name and trade rumors for like the longest probably ever since this summer started.
And you thought you'd be stuck with them too.
Except for maybe Sacramento.
And Sacramento,
Alfred you bullshit.
You can talk about Ingram for Zach Levine and shit.
Yes, exactly.
We had that conversation.
We got Kauai.
Yes.
What the fuck?
So it's like,
Hey, man,
a win is a win.
I'm taking this.
It's a lick.
Yeah,
I'm taking it.
The hell.
All right.
So what did that mean for the Clippers?
Getting two person on picks and a swap for Kauai
when you knew you were in this weird in between phase.
Hey, man.
What?
This is an A.
For the Clippers.
For the Clippers.
Yeah.
you got a lemon what do you
know what in Ingram
who's a lemon in Ingram?
Nobody wants him
Oh but he's still a though
But you did get
Okay
But you did kick those picks
And also Ingram
Can you make you make sure
You're like very decent
The regular season
I haven't heard anybody say anything
Positive about Brandon Ingram
Ingram in 18 months
Besides the fact that I said he is
An NBA player
To play with Scottie Fox
Yeah
I said he's a body that breathed and shoots
Bro
I don't know.
It's tough.
He is a two-time All-Star.
Great.
Now he is a lot for 20 points a game.
He's going to give you some play making it and all that.
He's a body.
Who does produce?
He's a body that's warm.
Either way, they only have for two years.
They're rebuilding clearly.
They clearly are saying that we got the fifth overall pig.
We have Keating Wagler, we have Darius Garland.
We're entering a rebuilding phase.
You can have a lemon for two years.
Like, it's fine.
It doesn't really matter.
Maybe he's good.
And next year you can flip him again.
You can make his value.
Somebody will take him on expiring.
Who knows?
Do it again.
Yeah.
Just flip a limit.
That's how you do a good rebuild.
Yeah.
Some goddamn love it.
Yeah.
So, all right.
I'll upgrade it to C minus.
Yeah.
I think you had to trade Kauai.
I see y'all's vision a little bit more.
I think trading Kauai and having the balls to just like do it, get you a good grade for me.
Is it a value like amazing?
I don't even know because I don't know what the value of Kaui for real is.
But the fact that we didn't try to hold up.
on as tight as we can to the choir era and we just said pre-decision too yeah let's take our ability
to rebuild now while we got it i'm gonna give you at least a beat yeah yeah so at this point if he's
if he's on toronto would his contract still get voided i don't think that's on the table at all
that's over i think they're gonna take draft picks from the clippers yeah it's over if they do anything
yeah i don't think they're gonna do a damn thing they're just probably avoiding him for the raptors
yeah that's so fuck i was like you say fuck can't it for real holy shit dude fled the country to avoid the
though.
Wow.
Okay, how do we feel about
Mitchell Robinson to the Celtics?
We didn't talk about that grade.
Earlier we were talking about Jalen Brown.
I thought I was going to get beat up for that.
Not.
That's a cool, it's a good move, man.
This is everything that's wrong with the NBA.
Like, obviously, I, like,
obviously I feel it more because it's like,
it's my specific team.
But we've talked about the second apron before.
And I just fundamentally disagree.
with the idea that teams that
if you win a championship you have clearly
built in a certain way that is correct
and so I just feel like it's
wild that like we're forcing parity from the top down
and a lot of times it comes from those teams
this specifically
um just stamps
that why Jim Dolan is one of the worst
owners in the NBA so you want them to go in the second apron for Mitch
yes I think explicitly do you see any downside of that
or like I'm obviously dude you're not an idiot
Is it a debate to you?
I don't see a debate.
And I think that you have to get Mitch, especially because if you look at the depth chart right now, who is the backup center?
Because like 40 sign with Philly and now Mitch is gone.
And so you have cat by himself.
The debt chart is Colic, Alvarado, McBride, Shamit, Diawara.
There are no – there's no bigs.
There's no bigs.
They completely punted.
On the on the draft, they did not, they did not pick anybody that could help them this season fill that role.
And so I can understand if you were going to put on the draft and then go into the second apron.
Now we're here in the second half of free agency.
I saw some tweet that was like, yeah, the mix are interested in going after Andre Drummond.
And it's like, it's fine, fine, whatever.
But like, but like, but I'm saying that's just like the caliber of player.
You're getting busy on Bionbo.
Okay.
That's even worse.
I just feel like.
I'm lying, I'm lying, I'm lying.
I just feel like.
You're getting Christian Coloco.
Oh.
This is what's wrong.
Again, this is what's wrong specifically with, with Dolan is that.
Fine.
Is that you had an opportunity, bro, stop.
Mason Blumley.
Shut up.
You had an opportunity to go into the second apron and you didn't, and you did not do it.
And for every part of this, of this championship run, he has proven to be self-eastern.
and self-centered in every single
in every single way.
Elevazar.
Drew U. Banks.
Bro.
Bro.
Before Tony Bradley.
No.
It's ridiculous.
And you see, this type of stuff right here,
this is what you open yourself up.
Oh, Dwight Powell's available.
Putting that fucking call.
Amen.
Max and Cleveland went to Europe, convince him to stay.
This is what the second 10.
Tax apron.
And it's,
welcome to the club.
What's the point?
What's the point of being a billionaire
if you're not going to spend your billions?
What's the,
what's the point of it?
Redistribute that wealth,
idiot.
It's so,
it's so dumb,
bro.
Before the parade,
he went on,
on the radio station,
and he was like,
oh yeah,
we're not even going to,
we're not going into the second apron.
He let it be known while everybody was still super happy
about the championship,
wanted to let everybody know,
don't get too happy.
At the parade,
he went out and threw shots at,
and Mom Donnie had a wax beats,
was all sloppy and everything.
Even before that, in game three,
he wanted to, you know,
make it about himself and his buddy coming to the game.
Every single aspect of this shows that James Dolan is still James Dolan
and that he is still selfish and scared to spend his money.
And I think that not giving this team a chance to run it back fully is a mistake.
And it's very, very frustrating that the first time that the Knicks actually get to this point,
in half a century,
he doesn't want to go into the second apron.
And it's dumb.
Take it from me, man.
Once you get your one,
everything that happens afterwards,
hey man,
no expectations for me.
That's what it was because we gave Jalen Brown.
That's loser mentality to the maximum.
You have an opportunity,
especially with the second apron,
you do have to strike.
As soon as you know that you have a team
worth going into the second apron,
you have to do it.
Because two years from now,
everything is going to be blown up.
makes fans about loser mentality for like 50 years,
all of a sudden they're up for one good year.
They can't have losing mentality no more.
It's just a reality.
Yeah, because we're not looking.
Because we just wasn't as what it is.
But it's ridiculous.
It does suck.
It's lazy, stupid, sluggish and unconcerned.
It's just dumb business from Dolan.
And it's messed up because, like,
the fact that I just said his name like three times,
his scanner is going to pick this up.
I'm going to be banned from MHG off the facial scan
and all that stupid shit.
Like, it's dumb, man.
You're the fucking blade to the neck.
He's going to ephanize.
I can't.
It's so dumb.
It just doesn't.
It doesn't.
The ceiling is going to open.
Gas comes down.
Like the end of one bad a lot for another.
It's awful.
And like I trust Leon Rose.
I trust Leon Rose, but I feel like with Dolan operating the way that he is trying to operate,
it makes him have to do his job with an arm.
tied around time behind his back yeah and that's the worst part about it honestly bray
like not even getting him a chance and being leon rose do after like you did literally had one of
the greatest projects in my opinion in NBA history i'd be blown if i are you too and he went to the
celtics he went to the ops yeah it's what are great for the celtics yeah all my ops up i can't
even cool a hey hey yeah it's a it's a oh yeah good job i won't say a bunch of celtic fans are
gassing up this this signing a little bit too much really yeah like
Like, they are convinced, like, we just got, like, twilight or something.
He's a pack of pig.
Like, let's calm down.
It's going to be good, though.
Yeah.
Solid move.
It's going to be fantastic.
Like, he's going to change your lives.
All right.
Tobias Harris and Spur.
They had Cater starting in the, in the playoffs.
They had Jaylon Brown guard, Joelle and B.
He would have changed their life if he was there in game seven.
Okay.
You don't know what Mitch has done to his life, man.
You know?
I feel you.
He shut down and beat multiple.
times and now he's over there with them yeah it shouldn't be like that right defense on b2 yeah it shouldn't
be like that man shouldn't be like that it's the longest 10 your nick and now he's gone for nothing
for just just just walked hey oh i hate this guy man listen yo td3 is always i hate this guy so much
when the nicks do something bad ruff it's never fun when you're happy i'm sorry just it's true you don't
get these type of ranks at all you cursed you don't hear he cursed like that and he did it oh what
said he said shit damn yeah bro don't look at you done yeah man he might say it again
so it's advice harris on the spurs fuck this killed my dreams for lebron going to the spurs
it did yeah they said they're not gonna that was a funny tweet yeah the san antonio spurs
will not be pursuing lebron james after signing to buy his harris why even tweet that what a sentence
We had two years, $31 million deal
to go presumably beginning of starting four,
give them a second adult in the room
to pair Deer and Foxx in the starting lineup,
a power forward size of body,
which we've been begging for.
More spacing, obviously, reliable shooter.
A, good move.
Yeah.
B?
Damn.
You're a tough grader today.
I mean, they could have used
some extra shooting in the playoffs
and Tobias Harris Harris site.
Obviously, had a good playoffs,
but traditionally not really known for that.
I would have liked to see a better defender
With Wemby, Castle and all of them
I'm like, you know, they can insulate one unk
That doesn't defend a whole lot
I think it'll be right
Yeah, I think anytime you
And you wear a Spurs jersey
And then you got Castle more importantly
Whambi behind you, you're a plus 10 defender already
Shit's easy
Yeah
We had Champagne flying around playing great defense
He's good, but like champagne
He's a cool, cool defender
But like when you have those guys around you
Everybody being good and trying really hard
Everybody feels great
It's fine to the finals
That will happen in the finals
Exactly
It is a conversation with them now
It's not just like being a successful team
Is winning the finals
Fair
Yeah, Harrison Barnes upgrade essentially
He get a different veteran shooter there
That you can feel a little better about
For the next few years
Cool
Cool move
To your bridge until Carter Bryant's ready to be in his prime
Hopefully
Yeah
Yeah
Or whoever else if it's not Carter Bryant
That is a
That is a big part about it though
It's like
He just wasn't ready
Yeah
And so you just down the body
In the playoffs
And he may never be ready.
We'll see if he's ready to be starting forward long term next to them.
But this is a bridge to find whoever that may be.
Yeah, I agree.
Hopefully it's Carter Bryant.
Isaiah Stewart to the Memphis Grizzlies for three second round picks.
The guy does ask for free.
That's crazy.
A's flying off the board.
Hey, he's a team culture builder and also setter.
Like, I love it.
You got your official protector of Cameron Boozer.
And you're also guaranteeing that you're going to get good big man minutes,
no matter who's on the goddamn floor between him,
Zach Eedy and also Boozer.
I love it.
I was talking about,
obviously we talked about
the girth and grind
of Boozer and E.D.
as a duo.
You add in this extra grind?
This is so much muscle
and strength to put it on the roster.
They have an identity
and they're sticking to it.
This is going to be a big, strong
skill team that has spacing
while being that big and strong.
I'm almost surprised he went for so cheap.
Me too.
Like three seconds?
That's it.
He's a salary dump.
Anyone can do that.
He could have been a Nick.
He should have been.
Anybody can do that
besides Rob Blinka.
But yeah, anybody can do that.
He would have been, I don't know if he would be good for the Laker.
He would, him and Luca, God damn.
Praying for those refs.
No, it wouldn't actually be a good fit.
Marcus Smart to the Rockets.
Two years, seven million dollars a year.
How do we feel about them obviously needing all the shooting in the world?
And instead, getting an old defensive point guard instead.
Your back court is really old now.
When you have Fred there, you have Marcus there.
But you have somebody that can survive.
in a playoff series and Reed Shepherd wasn't that.
You have somebody who can pass a little bit,
Reed Shepherd wasn't that.
So I've,
also for two years,
13,
A,
I'm going A.
Yeah,
I mean,
13 mill is really nothing.
It also,
the size of this contract doesn't prevent them
from matching Tari's
restricted free agency offer,
whatever it ends up being.
Yeah.
Like it's some flexibility since it was so cheap.
He could have taken more.
Obviously,
his market was more than this.
He clearly took a little bit less.
So keep them that flexible.
Yeah.
I don't know if I want to give it an A
because it is like,
it's market smart.
and I don't know if he necessarily fixes their
all their issues all at once at all.
I mean, they have a lot of issues.
Yeah, I don't think the $7 million contract
was expected to fix all their issues all at once.
But it doesn't make, it doesn't address like a pinpoint issue at all.
I think he does.
A table setting back.
He's a table setter.
You can dribble and you can't leave it completely wide open,
which is good, I guess.
But you can't on some nights.
I'm not going on.
He's very streaky.
Yeah, yeah.
This is good.
Yeah, this is good though.
This is good.
It's never bad to have a good player.
But, yeah, it doesn't change them.
Yeah, they're the exact same team in my mind.
So with you, they're a little better.
Yeah, but like your other option at point guard is Fred coming off in ACL.
Like, what if Fred is not instantly back to being Fred?
Like, you have somebody else who can play point guard who can run the offense a little bit.
I think this is really good for them.
It is really good.
It is good.
I think I'd rather have like Luke Knard, but at this point, what am I arguing for?
What are we talking about?
Yeah, I don't.
Yeah.
Wait, so what did you give it?
I think I want to give it.
He hates Marcus Smart.
That's insane.
A C?
A C's actually ridiculous.
I told you he hates Marcus Smart.
Norm Powell went to the Bulls.
Whoa.
The Bulls are going to roll out a starting lineup of Josh Giddy, Norm Powell,
modest Wuzellis, Caleb Wilson, and Nick Claxton.
I love this.
I actually really, really like it for the Bulls.
Me too.
Two years, not, two years is not that long.
45 million.
You know what?
It is what it is.
Everybody else is getting paid nothing.
You needed somebody who can go out there and just get some shots up.
And I mean, he fills that role perfectly.
This is a perfect fucking fit.
Yeah.
We talked about all they had was tall, lanky athletes with questionable at best jumpers up and down the roster,
which is a very valuable nucleus to have with those traits.
Somebody has to shoot the ball.
Somebody has to score it.
And we know with the new lottery odds, we have to talk about that every time a mediocre
team makes a move.
You cannot risk being a horrible team.
If you're one of the three worst teams in the league, you're not going to get the top odds
to get a pick.
everybody needs mid-commanders
to come out there and give us five extra wins
and make sure we stay at worst
the fourth or fifth worst team in the league
everybody needs a norm pal if you're a rebuilding team
you can't afford to not have a norm pal.
Yeah man, Norm Powell, shout out to you.
You let the Miami Heat to the 10th seed last year.
Do it again.
And that is value.
If you lead the Chicago Bulls
to the 10th seat again this year, guess what?
They might end up with a top three pick.
Hey, man, this moves me.
And also, too, I think it's good for
guys like Modis,
for guys like Caleb Wilson, it relieves so much more pressure off of Josh Giddy, too, because of spacing.
And he's really, like, the best and the lone shooter there.
So good move, A plus.
Yeah.
I like what the Bulls have been doing this off season.
Just keep it fun.
Exactly.
For the first time.
For the first time since, like, I guess, 2021 November specifically.
Now, with that being said, Miami, he lost him.
Oof.
Tough.
We have really great to the honest trade.
Oh, yeah, I guess we didn't.
They kept Wiggins.
they lose Norm Powell.
So they have the perimeter defender.
They lose their go-to-on-ball score.
Don't know how they replace them.
But maybe we don't got to factor that into this trade.
But Yonis trade, knowing what we know now,
whatever that means to you,
how do you grade the Yonest trade for the Miami Heat?
Yonis, hope you're happy.
I guess, I mean, so you got a star in the door
and you got one of these stars in the NBA.
And at the time, Norm Powell was still on your team.
So I'm giving it.
They signed him Hardaway Jr.
So they have a shooter there at least.
Yeah, true.
Doesn't really move me as much.
However, I'm still giving this.
Dude, he was good last year.
He avered like 14 points.
It was a fucking flamethrower for him.
Sick.
Don't try to sell me.
He was good.
I'm just telling me.
Don't try to sell me.
You're going to move lower the grade?
Flame throwers.
Say another word, I dare you.
Yeah, you get Yannis.
Can you pull out the trade exact specifics again?
You get Yonis.
It's hard to give you anything less than an A, right?
Yeah.
But you can have the opportunity to be a team that we know has an,
ethos of building through free agency and finding the next star for the last 30 years,
it's been how you do things. When you get arguably a top three player in the NBA,
hard to give you anything less than an A when we know that's your number one goal in life
for the entire era is to land a guy like this. Congrats, you did. They tried to trade Tyler Hero
three years ago for Dame. He still had enough juice to come back in this time frame to trade for
Janus. I think that's still a major, major win. Yeah, pretty much your whole young core, though.
Hero plus your main young players in the last three drafts, three first-on picks,
one swap and one second rounder.
Yeah, and all these young players are like literally middling young players.
The best one out of them all is Jaime Hawkes Jr.
Who's like a legitimate good player in this league.
But good for the Miami, it's not good enough.
It led them to being the 10th seed, the seventh seat or whatever the last few years.
This makes them a serious basketball team.
I give it a day.
We talk about them differently now and now they're finally like inching again.
Salute.
I don't know where it nets out to because I don't know what moves are left.
Bradley Beale?
I've heard that.
I've heard that.
I don't even...
What does he have left?
I don't even know.
Because he got hurt last year.
It didn't even play last year.
He broke his hip.
I don't know, man.
Yeah, so,
should we write him off completely?
I don't know.
Like, probably, but...
Minimum deal?
Can he come back in average 18?
Who'd you say?
Oladipa?
Oh, no, we should definitely write him off.
Nah, you saw his Instagram post?
No.
He said he's ready to work.
Wow.
Yeah, he put out this tweet yesterday.
I'm a free agent
I don't have an agent right now
Just me and my family
And I have a lot left
I genuinely love this game
You'd rather show you I'm ready to
Okay
I reach my reading limit
Wow those three sentences
And there are short sentences too
I know
I'm ready then spend my time
Trying to explain why
Or flood you with analytics to prove it
If you're about winning
Value mentorship
I think there could be a fit
You can reach me directly
I'm open to your opportunity right now
I just want to make sure
I weigh each one carefully
I can't wait to share my story
Hashtag Invictus
Hashtag be a victor
Bro, why'd you say you reach your limit?
You didn't have to do that to yourself.
I'm at capacity.
Brains full.
No more word.
Nope, I'm done.
Sorry.
Try again.
Try again 9 o'clock tomorrow.
What?
Sometimes you got to know when to quit.
You know what I guess so.
Can't get through a tweet.
It's not complex either.
No big word.
There was a minor typo and he's a, uh-uh.
Will started spinning.
We can't have.
Hell yeah.
Shout out of it, man.
Go back to Miami.
How do you feel about this for the bucks now?
Now, we're looking back, thinking about it for a few weeks,
knowing that this was their one chance to pivot into a full-on rebuild,
knowing they got the number 13 pick, which became Nate Ament.
So they have A-Met and Braden Burries as their young corps to start
alongside Kalil-Ware, Ryan Rawlins, Casper's Yucaturnis,
and I guess, Hamie Hockes, who's a young player.
for like one more year.
Young player for one more year.
Like six months.
Entiler heroes like in the prime.
Yeah.
I still feel good about it.
I'd probably give it like a C for the bucks.
They probably could have got a better haul if they did this earlier and they didn't have to go to the whole year of.
And that's all we can really great on is like when you traded Giannis.
Because sometimes it would be not fair.
It's super fair for them to criticize him for that.
Because we all had, we all knew the writing on the wall last year.
And even at the deadline and, you know, stories came out that they were chopping him, you know, potentially to the Knicks.
summer you you could have did so much more um i think but you got into this drama
fest with yonis literally all year long and you just dragged this thing on so i'd probably give
it a c i'll go b i could whatever c or b something of the same sort that it's not the worst
return for a star player i'm glad you got a lot of picks i hope you can flip tautiero
again i'm more interested in on what happens if they decide to keep all these players and they
have a team now it's full of guards the full of guards the full of
You have Ryan Rollins, Tyler Hero.
I guess Hyma is just starting three, I guess.
Maybe Usman Dang is starting four.
They just paid him.
Yeah.
Miles Turner.
Kolo where is your backup five with Brady and Buryd's in a Ment?
That's a squad with like upside and like competency, I guess.
Like, it could be a 10 seed.
Yeah, can they, I don't know about that.
I don't think they'd be a 10th seed.
But can they avoid being one of the three worst teams?
Probably.
Can they?
They could be one of three worst teams for sure.
Very definitely.
But could they avoid that.
with Rollins taking leave, him and hero buckets.
Like, maybe they could be the fifth worst team.
Optimist mentality.
I like it.
I know.
He's a good guy, man.
Yeah.
That's a positive idea.
I mean, I'm optimistic my shit I don't care about.
I'm not putting in the bets now for walking bucks and anything.
But like, is that a 24 Mavs?
I like this out of you, man.
Out of all, like, the bad young teams and typically, however, they might be the worst team
in the conference.
No, the Nets are the worst.
Well, actually, never mind the Nets got Julius Rade on MPJ.
The Nets is the worst.
What are you talking about?
I don't know.
I forget some of the moves they made.
I think the Nets are going to be better.
Actually, the Nets are really well coach, though.
Yeah, exactly.
They have real talent in the building.
You're right.
Yeah, so they're going to be the worst.
Oh, Kuzma.
Kuzma, four.
I forgot about Kuzma.
Kuzma's still there?
Starting four.
Yeah, they're going to be the worst.
Fuck.
That's tech expert, financial expert,
Kyle Kuzma, do you?
Dude, some, all these teams,
like, they actually have things, like, real pieces.
And then even at West, it's like Sacramento.
Obviously, he's at the bottom.
Yeah, they might be one of the three worst teams in the league.
Yeah, it's true.
All right.
So does that mean it's just time to ship off Hero?
Maybe ship off Rawlins, maximize all these guys that you're going to be one of the worst.
Flip them for extra picks or try to get the best odds and get out the top three.
I think you try to get the best odds, honestly.
But it's so, it's impossible.
All right, Tyler, Hero, you ready to average 30?
Yeah, it's impossible.
Put all that backpack, buddy.
Yeah.
Put on for the hometown.
We need you to get us 30 wins.
It's a loss.
That's a whole lot to ask.
They barely got to that last year.
What if Ron Rollins does have it in him
to be a 20-point per game score or two?
And you just have those two guys.
He's going to score 20.
Yeah.
And then what?
What is that going to mean?
Exactly.
I don't know.
I'm asking you can't mean 30 wins?
I don't know.
Damn.
I don't know if they can.
Because somebody's going to get hurt
and be in the bottom of the barrel.
Is Doc still coaching?
No.
Okay.
Taylor Jenkins is coaching.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, that team sucks.
It just depends on who's going to be her, right?
Like, it's so great.
Every team is like, they have quality pieces and players, and you can tell me that a lot of these teams at least won't 30 games.
And, like, if Hero gets hurt for three weeks.
Ooh, cooked.
You're right.
It's over.
It's over.
Yeah.
Any other signings you guys want to mention before you get out of here?
The Pistons got John Collins.
Yes, John Collins to replace Tobias Harris.
Yeah.
That's interesting.
Colin C. Cool. Good shooter. I give it like a B, you know. I guess C. I'm really worried about
the pistons. Pretty lateral from Tobis Harris. Yeah, I hate. Yeah, I'm worried about the
business because you see all these other teams like having massive moves made and now your only
move is really like getting rid of B's two for three picks. Didn't think that was. Getting rid of a good
player, nice. Yeah, I don't think that was necessary at all. And then you add John Collins and you're
into this whatever war with Jalen Dern. I'm worried about them. Yeah. If Dern, if Dern leaves and your
big rotation is gone like
playing team? I don't think he's going to leave though
I don't know about playing team
I don't think he's gonna leave you
well if he leaves who's the striding center
when aiden? Paul Reed
I don't know
if he leaves they probably should want to eat
that's crazy and that's why I'm worried
yeah so I'm scared
give me first time pick for Aiden
yeah it would be so great
fine three seconds
fine
five two seconds
first route for Aiden would be insane
Yeah, especially when you're them, like, you need your picks.
You have to be wild.
Save that ammo for another star.
Yeah, you have to be wildly disappointed, bro.
But, yeah, but, you know, solid sign in, though.
All right.
Well, that is our grades for all the major free agency moves that have happened thus far.
It is now time for Producer Corner.
First time in three weeks.
Beesol was a little sick leave for the past couple weeks.
He's back.
His throat is good, feeling good, ready to talk.
What's today?
Today, I want you guys to guess.
some of these world records.
Okay.
Okay.
I'm not going to lie.
I don't even remember them at this point.
So this is going to be a group activity at this point.
So first world record, we are trying to guess.
Most Big Macs eaten in a lifetime.
Yo, there's somebody who actually keeps track of how many Big Macs they eat in their entire life.
Did you get paid to have a Guinness World?
Like, what is?
I don't think so.
Okay.
Yeah.
I'll think you paid.
Might as well just be a Wikipedia entry.
Oh, no.
So most, how many can you mean a year?
300, like at least.
365.
Every day, no one is that commitment.
But do you think this person's trying to?
If you're trying to do this.
Come on now.
You probably, so it's not every day, because you probably be multiple in a day.
Some people, I could imagine, I mean, as a teenager, I could probably do this.
I have two big max for a lunch.
Like, that's super possible for some people, right?
So they probably do clear 365 a year because they'll take days off and double up.
How many years do they try that, though?
Because it's clearly on purpose.
Were they a decade into this bitch?
Maybe, maybe not a decade.
4,500.
1,500.
That's about 13, 14 years of,
of just straight.
Griding Big Macs.
That's Max to the face.
Man, Max.
Yeah, I'll say 3,000.
It's 4,500.
I don't know.
We'll probably be surprised.
I'm going to say 7,000 Big Macs.
Fuck it.
There has to be someone out of their committed to this, bro.
Okay.
The answer is.
35,000.
You, fuck.
You know, what's this guy live right now?
What the fuck?
35,000 Big Macs to the face.
What the fuck?
And you know he's not eating them raw to a yes have fries or like a strike too with it.
Do the math.
Yo.
That's like 100 years.
No.
He gets you for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.
There's 100 years of daily bag.
It's 35,000 divided by 365.
Yo.
It's essentially 96.
Ninety-six years?
What the fuck?
But it's plus.
He's still ongoing.
He hasn't stopped.
I can do research about this guy, man.
Wait, but if he ate two Big Macs a year a day.
That's 48 years.
I can see that.
His name is Daniel Gorski, a Wisconsin native.
Of course, it's fucking Wisconsin.
He holds the record for most Big Macs in a lifetime.
He achieved his 35,000 Big Mac,
have been consumed the McDonald's burger almost every day since 1972.
Yo, he's still alive.
That's why it's plus.
He's still gone.
Since 1972.
He was born in 1953.
Wow.
Since he was 20, he's been grinding Big Mac.
A quote to the game.
A quote for him.
I love Big Mac so much.
I'll keep eating them until I die.
He said,
in 2018.
If I live as long as my dad, I'll pass
40K.
Bro, he's 70 now and he hasn't died.
He think he brawn.
He is.
He is Bronn in this context.
That's nasty.
Good for him.
No good.
That's disgusting.
He's 70.
It worked.
It doesn't matter.
He's already lived a full life.
And also, too, like, he's pretty healthy.
At least dating back to 2018.
He was 6-2-195.
He must have been like so strategic with this.
He eats just Big Macs.
guy.
He looks like he's in good shape too.
Sure.
That's nasty.
Wow.
The lights fucking it up.
But yeah, that's Mr. Big Mac.
All right.
Next.
He looks like John Lennon.
Largest stadium capacity.
Hmm.
Soccer stadium.
Do you think it's an American stadium?
It has to be an American stadium.
Really?
About 250,000?
No.
Fuck.
That's a lot of people.
250,000.
More?
Because there's like
seating capacity and then you can have
like standing room
in some stadiums.
What's normal?
I pulled the number out of my ass.
I don't even go.
I have no idea.
For a majority of the large ones, it's like 100.
Like I know,
so DKR and Ohio State,
DKR and Ann Arbor are the ones
that immediately come to mind.
I'm saying like a hundred and twenty-five thousand.
One hundred and twenty-six thousand.
Oh, damn, I'm going to say 160K.
Okay.
That'll go 180, actually.
One-14, 14,000.
Yeah.
I think it's like some,
stadium in North Korea actually.
And where?
North Korea.
Where?
Oh, they're lying then.
What's number two?
All right.
Next.
Most hot dogs eating
in 10 minutes.
10 minutes.
What did Joey get?
How long do they do it when the hot dog country?
Yeah.
I think it's 10 minutes.
So I think I think Joe Chester is at like 80 something?
Yeah, 87.
Yeah, 86.
Okay.
Whoa, that's crazy.
Eighty-three.
Wow.
You guys are tapped to.
into the hot dog eating contest.
There's no things.
That's crazy. He's honestly
Joe Chestnut is the goat.
That's the most amount of hot dogs you eat in a day.
In a day?
Two.
I mean, I don't know.
Price like seven.
Seven?
Seven dogs?
Damn.
What was you up to that day?
Think about to late those dogs.
That's belly button to chin and dog.
That's insane.
I was just eating them.
He was just like curious that day.
Fuck.
That's close to the 10 piece.
I'm not going to...
That's like a full arm.
He did a money spread of dog.
Oh my God.
Vertically.
Honestly, 10 hot dogs is very, very dude.
Like, if you're just like out...
First of all, this is a 999 challenge.
You have the hot dogs and the beer.
So like, that's like...
That's just there.
You see that the 999 challenge is like normal.
What?
It's not normal.
I don't even know what that is.
So you have...
It's funny because it's weird.
You have a hot dog and a beer
every inning of a baseball game.
Mm, okay.
And so it's much harder now because they put the pitch clock on so the game's speed.
So the game is better.
Normally like it used to be somewhat doable because baseball games would be like three and a half hours.
Now you have to pack it into like 215.
It's tough.
All right.
Next.
Me and Beasolds are doing it this summer.
Summer's now, by the way.
I guess.
Hell yeah.
Fastest baseball pitch recorded.
One.
Is that too high?
Yeah.
Maybe.
I don't know anything.
109.
11.
112.
I'm going to say 107.
I think it's hard than that.
105.
It's not higher than that.
Because are oldest Chapman?
Yeah, makes sense.
Fuck, that's great.
Yeah, I knew they crock in the 100s.
I didn't know where they fall.
114's crazy.
Can you imagine that beam to your face?
God.
Damn.
Jesus.
All right, next.
Tallest person ever.
8-4.
I think he was 8-2.
8-5.
Eight something is insane.
Eight 11.
Damn.
Nine feet tall?
I think this dude had like a mad short life too.
I would imagine so.
Yeah.
Eight 11's crazy.
What do you like?
What are you two feet taller than one beat?
That's so insane.
That's crazy.
How tall is NBA basket?
Is it 10 feet?
Damn.
You're a foot off.
That's half of an arm.
Like you just kind of don't even a tip of toes.
You can head butt it.
It's crazy.
That's crazy.
Next.
Most.
viewed YouTube video.
Is it still Gungham style?
No.
Okay.
I think it was...
I have no idea.
I'm cooked.
It's a damn shame.
It's Baby Shark now.
Oh, it's Baby Shark now.
Okay.
Uh, $4 billion.
Nah, $4 billion is way too small.
$10 billion.
$10 billion.
Whoa.
I'm going to say $15 billion.
That seems high.
Is it that high?
$17 billion.
Yeah.
For Baby Shark?
Yeah.
Because they play it nonstop?
Wow.
How long is the video?
Like three minutes.
That makes sense.
They put it on loop.
Yeah.
An hour of baby sharks.
Money spreads.
That's crazy.
17 billion views, dog, on one video.
That's crazy.
That's crazy.
Right.
Next.
Most do TikTok video.
I was that one with the VFX thing?
Is it still him?
Zach King, I think is his name?
Yeah, I think so.
Is that one?
Yeah.
Uh, 10 billion.
$10 billion?
10 billion.
Billion, billion.
billion okay no that's too high for tic-tok but then again it's one minute so it can repeat a lot
uh we'll go to say five no it's higher than five billion actually i don't even know if it is a billion
is it a billion it might not be billion six hundred million six hundred million

oh okay they got to be on ticton okay
A hundred billion
Way off
Most spoons balance on a human body
Is this a man or woman who did it?
I don't know
Give me that hint
Do you know how tall the person is?
No
I just look at the number
I'm not going on.
Okay
He actually doesn't know
Most spoons balance on a human body
You can get a hundred
What?
How?
Surely, yeah, yeah
You can get like 30 per arm at least
yeah
226
yo people be bored
bro
how
were they laying down or standing up
that makes a big difference
209
I'm gonna say
150
85
200 is crazy
they couldn't get 100
damn
quack
loser
you're trying to break it to summer
yeah
I guess you're standing up
I'm assuming it to be standing up
let's do it
It's good active.
I totally break this.
Standing up, I guess.
Longest commercial flight duration?
13.
I think it's 13 hours.
14 hours.
I think it's...
I saw somebody on sit at say that they...
It's like the longest, like, nonstop.
I think it's 13.
I may be on.
I'm saying 30 hours.
No way.
38?
30 hours.
16.
15?
Final guess.
Yeah, maybe 16.
16?
19.
19.
Damn.
I forgot what the route was.
It was to some Asian country.
Damn.
I think it was like from England to something.
Yeah.
I was wondering, this is doing on TikTok that does like day trips to a whole bunch of places.
He took a day trip from New York to Singapore.
Yeah.
It's like a 13-hour flight.
All right.
Next.
Most chicken wings eaten in 12 minutes.
This depends on how big the wings are.
Are they better or not?
In 12 minutes?
I assume they're not.
righted though.
32.
12 minutes.
32 kind of wheat.
12 minutes is a long time.
I'm gonna say,
I'm gonna say like 88.
Oh yeah,
for professional eaters.
Yeah,
the wings are small.
Yeah.
I'll say 56.
Mo?
88.
276.
Yo.
You got some real eaters,
man.
That's just quick.
You can clean them,
bitches.
Just one motion.
Whoa.
Let them rip.
Breaking 276.
That's crazy.
That's fucking wild.
In 12 minutes?
Let's try.
I mean,
that's disturbing.
No,
that's disturbing.
You can't do that.
You can't get to 50.
I can't get to 15 and 12.
Yeah.
No, you get to 50.
Come on.
I'd be full.
50's a lot.
Well, again, to your point,
we kind of wings we're talking.
Are they sauceless?
We don't worry about that.
It's a dry road.
Okay.
Lemon, pepper.
If I'm trying to be competitive, I can probably get the 20.
I'm going to be in pain.
Once I get to like 13, I'm like, but I can get to 20 if I persevere.
I think I can get to.
I think I can get to 20 in 12 minutes.
Yeah, but I'd have such a bad time.
Like, I wouldn't do it.
Like, if we actually had a challenge or not, I wouldn't get to 20 because I'd like, you got it.
I would prep myself for it and not eat the entire, the previous day.
I think I can clean like 30 and 12 minutes.
See, that's bad strategy already.
You clearly don't know professional eating strategy.
What is it?
You got to open up the stomach.
a little bit. You got a problem to something for
digestion.
He knows too much. You have to have a little bit.
He knows entirely too much. You have to have a little bit in your stomach.
This is dangerous information. He knows too much.
Dangerous information.
He got to get to 30. 30?
You don't know the method?
No, I don't want to know the method. Could you get to 30?
In 12? Yeah. Man.
Apparently I ate a 10 piece in one sitting.
How long did it take? The gas line's crazy.
I know. You said that was your
order.
We didn't tell you, dude.
There's a bunch of context here.
All right, man, whatever.
That's the end producer corner.
You said no size.
Let's get on a TikTok time.
Woo.
Welcome to TikTok time.
Today per usual, we're going to begin with the drafts.
It should be very special one, a very fun one.
Hell yeah.
We are going to draft NBA teams with hypothetical players.
We are going to spin two different combinations of players.
As you see in the first side of the table, you'll get a player with a second
players attribute all three randomly spin. When it's your turn, you will see two different players
and you get to pick which one you want. You get two re-spins for the entire draft. In six rounds,
you can re-spin any one specific category. But when you re-spin that category for that player,
you have to pick them. Okay. So for instance, you might get Yokic with Blank's defense.
The player you got is terrible, but you do want Yokch a good defense. So you re-spin the player
to try to get Yokch with good defense. No matter who that new player is, you have to pick
that version of Yokch.
Okay.
Sounds good.
And only two re-spins.
What is the draft order, B. Souls?
Mo.
Isaac and Don.
Okay.
Let's go.
Let's go, Mo.
Do you figure you to win today?
I don't know.
I'm kind of nervous, honestly.
This is my first time being nervous.
Okay.
All right, this is your first player.
Okay.
SGA with Ants playmaking.
Just SGA?
Player two.
Okay.
Luca Donchich with Curry's scoring.
Worststst.
Luca.
You get worse SGA or worse, Luca.
Take your pick.
Okay, with Curry scoring, I'm assuming he has like more consistent range.
Luca, yo, his stupid shooting can look like 33% from the first few weeks of the season to bounce back to 40%.
I think I want to take SGA because it's more, it's more stable and consistent.
So give me SGA.
Okay.
I'm cool.
Where are you putting this hypothetical player?
Put on my one.
One.
Okay.
So, Shea with Anne's playmaking.
Is that just like exactly the same player?
Yes.
Probably.
Their playmaking really isn't that different, right?
Yeah, it's literally just Shay's is better though.
Yeah.
But, you know, all intents of purposes, it's pretty much just Shay.
A bucket is a bucket.
That's all he is.
My turn.
Isaac, your first player.
Here we go.
Steph Castle with Denny's finishing.
Okay.
Stuff Castle.
Exactly.
Or
Need you to get Isaac Bonga
Evan Mowbly
With McCale's scoring
Oh that's filthy
Hey that's kind of nasty
That's filthy
Wait filthy
Yes if he had the midi
And like three point shooting
Ofin Mowley
Filty
Offball movement
We're dragging it right now
But you're right
You're right
I'm gonna use the money spins
He needs to be in the fucking paint more
What do you mean
You want to see him shoot more jumpers
No
I mean
If they went in like McKin
Is he Katie now
Oh he's not Katie
I want Mowgli to play like KD.
Give me that version of Mowgli when McHale's scoring.
Listen, bro, he was shooting 70% in the playoffs.
He was.
I was thinking about re-spinning that,
trying to get Mowgli with somebody else's scoring.
Yeah.
But I'm going to save my re-spins in case it's an actually bad player.
Okay.
But I was thinking about trying to get Mowgli to be like full-on KD.
That could have been crazy.
So just regular, just regular SGA or Mowgli with some, with some middies.
That's a pretty good player.
That's a great player.
That's a D.
Yeah, I got AD.
Let's go.
We'll see.
All right, Donovan.
Here we go.
First player.
Save me.
Steph Castle with a sores handles.
Okay.
Or.
I hate these games.
LeBron with Jared McCain's dunking.
LeBron, I can't dunk.
You got 60 LeBron.
And is this a problem of LeBron or 26 LeBron?
26 LeBron.
These are all current players.
All current players.
Let's see.
Why don't if he can't dunk this?
Lebron that can't dunk is.
That sucks.
That sucks.
These this is awful
I mean so I can't
I can't go stepcastle
Oh you got a respin
You could try to use that
I might have castle with a source
But no it's funny either way
Asar's handle and McCain's dunking sucks
So you don't really want that either way
Your re spins are kind of useless right now
You want to get a better version of LeBron or Castle
Yeah
What do you get LeBron with like a center's dunking
Sure
So if I just have Step Castle with a SARS handle
Then it just turns into
A straight like three
indie kind of player.
I just turn into like basically Asar.
Yeah.
Or just basically Castle.
You don't change really.
Like their hand,
like I guess his hand is a little worse.
Is it?
Yeah, his handle is better than.
Yeah,
but I don't know how much.
I will take Steph Castle
with Asar's handle.
Wow.
You just nuke yourself, I think.
Why?
I have a six man.
I would have made that point.
No,
we're going to put them at six men.
You should have re spun the,
the dunking of McCain
and try to get LeBron and McCain shooting.
Yeah.
That's not where I wanted to go.
I didn't want to use my re-spin on the first one.
Fair.
All right.
Well, Stefan Castle off your bench is being Stefan Castle.
That's solid.
That's a bad.
Fair.
All right.
Next.
It's me again.
Yep.
Okay.
J. Dub with Pascal shooting.
Worst J-dub.
Or Darren Peterson with James Hardens, Dunking.
Oh, where's Darren Peterson?
Yo, you got.
I'm getting a Friday.
There's no good outcomes here
Like if you had James Hardin passing
It's like oh fuck
You can respin do donkey track
I get James Harder in passing
I know I might have to do that
Oh this is not fun
Everybody else is getting demons
I have to make decisions
So I can respin any one of these
Like can I re-spin like J-Dubb
I can respin
Player 2 attribute all that
Yep
Any one specific square
but then you had to pick that player
if you spin it.
Can I get a different,
something different from
past.
Out shootings is so useless.
It's not worth
for a real.
Try to get somebody else
is shooting.
Should I try to
re-to-go bear?
Respin
somebody else is dunking?
I think that's the best.
Somebody else is passing?
Or try to get
another hardened attribute?
You can just pick J-Dubb.
Yeah.
And just keep it there?
She's not that different, I guess.
Dude, you're rolling dices all around.
Yeah.
I have to keep it.
Unless like you respend Pascal, you get a good shooter.
Because I would like to, ideally I would respend two of these.
But that would be out.
Rees and Pascal, I think that's fair.
Does it give me J-Dub, I guess?
As is?
As is?
Yeah.
All right, J-Dakum shooting.
There you go.
Okay.
All that debate just to keep them.
Where do you want them?
At the three.
At the three.
Wow.
Okay.
I don't know how I feel about it.
That's why you debate.
You got to see where you stand on it.
I think it's real.
Shacom shooting.
Okay.
You know,
the shooting isn't like entirely different.
You can just write J-Dub,
it'll not double up the line.
Okay.
I don't know how different the shooting is
between Siacom and J-dub.
J-dub is a better shooter.
He's better,
but he says he's better handle
and get to his shots more.
I don't know if there's shooting abilities
all that different.
Pascal's your guy, too.
I mean,
Pascal's never like...
Not consistent though.
Yeah, I think he's...
I mean, J-DU's not...
Yeah, J-Div's not crazy consistent either.
Exactly.
Like, he's probably better,
but it's not like it's...
It doesn't nuke J-Dob's values, what I'm saying?
Let me see Siaco's deep-point percentage.
Yeah, okay.
My turn.
All right.
It's very regular.
Isaac, your first player is,
Can we give us some trash?
Paolo with Devin Booker's defense.
Upgrade.
Upgrade.
Or Jason Tatum with SGA's handles.
Ooh, give me Tatum with SGA's handles.
That is filthy.
Fuck.
Dude, SGA has an all-time handle.
That's crazy.
Now Tatum can actually slash get to the paints.
Now he actually is what people.
want to be.
That's great.
Put on my three.
Dad's crazy.
Okay.
Now he just is Grant Hill.
Okay.
Okay.
He hasn't passed Grant Hill in your mind?
I don't know.
Grant is the bar now.
Shout to great.
If you could slash like Grant,
though, he'd be even better.
Tatum and Mobley.
I'm cooking.
All right, Mo.
Back to you.
I feel good.
First player.
I got J-Doh.
Kevin Durant with Tatum's defense.
Ooh.
Okay.
Fuck.
Yo, that's the most complete Kady ever.
Dylan Brooks with Kauai's handles.
You got to pick that one.
It's too funny.
I have a predicament here among my hands.
What if you respin Kauai and get Dylan Brooks at Karee handles?
Is it worth it?
It might be worth it.
Give me KD with Tatum's defense.
That's fucking filthy.
That's insane.
At the three, two.
It don't matter.
Put them at the three for now.
Or not two.
Okay.
Well.
Tatem's Tadem's.
Everybody's out here getting the.
Demigods.
Get fucked.
I'm having to make choices.
Dylan Brooks,
me here is so diabolical.
I want just like an easy answer.
There's a lot of rounds,
though.
We'll see.
All right,
back to Mo.
He's got Katie with Tatum's defense.
I know he did.
Austin Reeves with Scotty Barnes finishing.
That's strong.
Or that's strong as fuck.
That's strong as fuck.
SGA with Paolo's playmaking.
All right.
Fuck.
Yeah.
Wait.
Go for it.
No,
I could re spin,
but I'd rather just play say,
give me Austin.
Reeves with Scotty Barnes finishing.
You should have respawn the finishing because Austin Reeves was already a great
finisher.
You should try to get Scottie Barnes defense.
That could have been nasty.
I could have tried, but let me say, I'm not going to be too greedy.
But then whenever you get Scottie shooting.
Yeah, I know.
Exactly.
Let me not gamble.
I'm straight.
Okay.
Now, I do need better playmakers on my team, though.
Yeah, playmaking.
Reese is a very good player.
Yeah, I'm literally the 76ers right now.
Yeah.
It's not additive.
Not bad at all.
All right.
Back to Isaac.
please
there's a cuff
with Donovan Mitchell's dunking
Darius A Cuff
Okay
Or
Franz Wagner with LeBron shooting
Ooh
So just Fraud
Hey Reeson LeBron
Wait wait wait wait
Reespin Lebron
Give me Franz with somebody's shooting
That's really good
Reespin LeBron
Okay first respin LeBron
I got to use Reism at some point
Assar
Give him
Can't make a mess
Oh fuck
nobody
well base guy's got
Franz Wagner
because he also
doesn't be shooting
that consistent
I got Franz Wagner
at
my six men or two
what do I do
I'm moving around
six man for now
yeah he can't shoot
yeah
Franz at a men shooting
that's like that does to you man
honestly
is Franz even a better
you don't know what to stop
Franz also can't shoot
I don't know
I think I just got Franz
All right, Donovan, back to you.
Back to me, please.
Derek White with BAM scoring.
83.
Or,
Kyle Kuzma.
Dog.
What's Taylor?
What did I do?
What did I do?
Oh, shit.
But you can work with this.
You have re-spans.
You have to re-spin.
I must re-spin.
And this is why you save him.
Oh, man.
Respin, bam.
That's what I would do, too.
Native Matt, Native Matt, Natta, Matt.
Derek White.
Jimmy Butler scoring.
We will take that.
It's 2026.
You'll be both of that.
I don't care.
You don't score like that.
I'm not taking a player built off of Kuzm.
Dude, Jimmy Butler average, like 16 a game, man.
Good luck.
I'm taking Derek White.
Butler scoring.
Okay.
A little better scoring.
Okay.
All right.
Has to be better than.
He did this past year anyways.
True.
All right, your second player.
Pascal Seaccoma with Rudy Gobert.
Playmaking.
You got nothing.
Did I say anything wrong?
What the fuck?
You better pray right now.
Say a prayer from you, brother.
Please.
Be pods with Cheds.
Ooh.
Playmates.
It was almost.
Be pods.
said, play me.
Yo.
Second re-spin?
I think I have to.
Yeah, re-sping
Gobert's attribute.
We're going to try and get defensive.
The attribute? Yeah. Oh, you know, oh, that's crazy.
I would respond Gobert.
Speed.
I'm stupid by the fucking.
Fuck.
You should have respawned Gobert.
Oh, my God, man.
Gobears speed.
In a 6'8 body, you suck.
Yo, you're not good.
What the fuck?
Oh, my God.
Somebody get this guy a wheelchair.
This guy's to buy his hairs, man.
Fuck, you're not good.
Literally every time we do one of these drafts.
He just built Jared Solinger.
It's the worst outcome possible.
The match if he's Alcum lost like four steps are going to go by the other than one anymore.
Yo, he's not.
He's throwing bottles and spinning around.
I don't understand.
Man.
I don't understand what I did.
Isaac.
Oh, man.
You want a championship.
That's what it is.
Can't get nothing to know.
Aaron Peterson,
quit the Aaron Fox Clutch.
Oh, brother.
Right now.
In summer of 2026, tough.
Or Rudy Gobert with AJ's finishing.
Ooh.
Ooh.
Do I want to spin?
Loki.
Oh, that's nasty.
Loki, this guy.
Do I just take that?
I don't try to spin and get scoring overall.
The last time you get.
It bids your ass.
I mean, if I get defenses players worthless,
anything else, though, with AJ, I'm better.
No, finishing the strongest suit, I think.
I mean, he has handle and shit, but it's like, what is that?
Okay, I'll take Gobert with AJ's finishing.
That works.
Okay.
I got my center.
Like Rudy Gober if he could finish, like.
If he could actually catch a lot.
And I got like good hands.
I got Mobley who can shoot.
I'm in there.
Yeah, it's good.
Oh, my team's crazy.
That's good.
All right.
Let's go to Mo.
Bro, I need stars.
I need otherworldly beings.
Buzalis with Lamello's defense.
Or there's A-Cuff with Reeves finishing.
Oh, that's not a good.
Rie's one of the best rim finishing guards in the league.
Okay.
Now, I do need, I do need to fill out my big men.
Or I could have, like, I could have A-cuff coming off the bench as a great six-man.
Keep in mind, you can also spin the first player.
Yeah, I could.
But I didn't get, this is not a bad option either.
Like, I think I'll take, I keep A-Cuff and Reeves with the finishing as my six-man.
That's good.
I would have spent A-cup trying to get somebody else a refinishing.
Like I've been crazy.
I'm sure.
I'm a conservative man.
You are in all facets of life.
You're there.
What's that beat?
So I told me under the bus.
Ew.
All right two rounds left
All right
Is it back tomorrow right? Yep
Yep
All right let's do it
All right
Your next player
Khan with Jamal's clutchness
Oh
Jamal Murray's clutchness
Or right now that's not good
Bam with Yokach's clutchness
Bamu Yokch's clutch
Give me that
Bamu Yolkut's for sure
I could really do anything
With Yokich and be straight
So damn I should have respun that
For real
Yeah you should have clutch
Come on
I should have respond that for real
I mean what if I
But what if I get Yokich's defense
That's the only thing that's like
But still the odds are greater.
I should respond that.
That's my first sell, honestly.
Yeah, clutch.
What does that mean?
He still can't shoot like that.
He still not get it to the rim.
He's making the right decisions.
Because he's clutch.
Okay.
Okay.
My turn.
Isaac.
First player.
Devin Booker with Buzellas' his body.
He's 6'8s?
Yeah, that's tough.
That's Kobe.
Or Jamal Murray with B-Pod's playmaking.
B-Pod.
Give me Devin'Bookeme.
modest his body easily.
Now he's huge.
Put him on my two.
It's got to Booker,
Booker, Obligo bear.
Farns off the bench.
I don't got to get anything
at the mud today.
The shit's all easy.
Wow, man.
Besides prawns with the bench.
All right.
Let's finish this team.
Your last player.
Spin it.
Dares Garland with
Trey Young's finishing.
Not doing it.
Oh my God.
Or
Chet with
Cooper Flags finishing.
Ooh.
Okay.
Thank you.
I'm taking Chet.
Ooh,
Cooper Flags.
I get into the realm.
I'm taking Chet.
No, that's relentless.
That's crazy.
Okay.
Now he is,
now he is white Kevin Garnett.
Yeah.
Literally.
That's nuts.
See, okay, I need a star guard to bring this, to bring everything together.
Your last player.
Here you go.
First player.
Dylan Brooks.
Come on, man.
The Fox's defense.
It's useless.
Star player.
Just spin the second one.
Or.
It's Tori and Prince.
Kawai with Denny's dunking.
Damn, man.
but you can have Kauai in some resort
Kauai.
I have no point guard
You get some version of Kauai
So I put Derek White at the point
Or you could re-spin Kauai
I hope it's a point guard
With Denny's dunking's pretty good
Yeah
That's probably good
What if you get like stuff or something like that
Probably the move
If you get Steph, that's crazy
It's insane
Re-spin Kaui's playing in the league
Here we go
Franz
Fronts
Point forward okay
Put with a point guard
A big bleed ball in league
Oh that sucks man
Should have stayed home
Still can't shoot
Yeah
I hate this team
Yo you have no good shooting
On this team
I know
You got no shooting on this team
I have no good team
Oh my God
At least you got
Deemichette though
Isaac
Your last player
This sucks
Oh my gosh
Hollow with Jimmy Butler's clutchness
Okay
Jim's clutch as hell
Or
Zion with Bam's body
I don't know how good that is anymore.
Bam's body.
Do I try to respite for defense?
Bam is a better shooter.
He's a better defender.
He's a better pass.
You can't lose.
You can't lose.
Or Palo with Jimmy's.
I could try to get his passing or defense.
Like a fixed palo.
He's pretty good.
Fixing Zon is right there.
What position do I need again?
You need point guard.
Oh, yeah, point guard.
I got Booker can play point guard.
guard a little bit if I really want him to
make it Bucker play point guard
again fuck
SGA handles a point guard
I'm kind of cool with that
Debbie that these other both power forwards
I can't really use their power forward
Take it re-spin's aisle
What if he is on and he'd like it
I don't know about that
Yeah re-spins Zahn see if you can get a guard
With Bams body
I'd re-car with Bams body
Six-ed Demigod
Garland
Bams body
You know that's the most fun
outcome. That's crazy as fuck. Yeah, it is.
That's the most fun outcome. Re-spins aisle. Let's see what
happens. I already think I won.
Boozellis with Bam's body. Whatever that means.
All right, so Booker's not point guard.
Modest and Bam's...
You already re-spin one time?
Yeah. Oh, and actually, I already have Boozellas's body.
So I got two Bozell's bodies.
Okay.
Oh, no, no.
No, you got Boozellis with Bams. Got Bans' body. So Put Tatum with the two.
And then I got Boozellis with
Bams' body. What does that mean?
Don't worry about it
He's got more muscles on him now
Is that making him better?
I guess so
I guess
What NBA player is this, Ra?
All right, Mo, your last player
Okay
Banga
Trey with Jalen Brunson's dunking
Oh, useless, okay
Or
That's just Trey
And with AD's defense
But you're still 6-5
Who cares?
What does his demons look like at a six-five body?
He's still good.
I'm fucking elite.
What do I need?
I think I need a four.
Yeah, four.
You could re-spin and try to get a four.
Honestly, yeah.
You already have 80s defense?
Yeah, I'm gonna try to re-spin and right now.
Okay.
Good gas line.
You could have put KD at the four and put him with the three.
That was good.
That was stupid as four.
I have another re-spin, though.
I only use one.
Oh, yeah, I haven't used one yet.
Yeah.
Okay, second re-spin.
Fucking re-spin again.
J-Mack, get out of here.
Reespin what?
McCain.
Yeah, McCain.
Okay.
Come on.
Another guard.
Yeah.
Well, I can't lose, I guess.
That was so useless.
My final reason was like on the same thing.
What are the odds?
It's not bad, but it's like, okay.
The odds aren't high at all.
I know.
But there's like so many players in this.
I know.
Okay, fuck it, I guess.
I'll put my three and I'll switch up with Katie.
Yeah, that's what you should have done.
That's so smart.
That's so funny.
Wow.
So I got six foot nine, Devin Booker, Tatum with SGA's handle,
Buzell is with Bam's body,
Moble and McKell scoring,
Gobert with AJ DeBonsa finishing,
and Franz Wagner with a men's shooter.
I have Franz with Danny Duncan and my point guard.
Derek White, Jimmy Butler scoring,
J. Dubb with C.
Yakum shooting.
Siakum with Gobert Speed.
Seacum with Gobert Speed.
Chet at the 5 with Cooper Flag finishing and Stefan Castle off the bench with Asar Thompson's
hands.
Only one of your players got better.
Yo, literally everyone got worse.
This is.
I got SGA, Ant playmaking.
That's neutral.
That's just an aunt or that's just SGA.
Reeves with Scotty Barnes finishing.
That's tough.
Ant with AD defense, Swiss Army knife from hell.
Okay.
KD.
Tatum defense, holy fuck, that might be the best
player in the league. Okay,
Bam, Yolkits clutch.
All right. That's the funniest one.
What does that mean? He just
does everything at the right time, I guess.
Don't fuck up in the end. And then I got
Darius Akef with the Reese finishing.
Who?
There you go. My team makes sense, I think.
It seems are hilarious.
I don't have no playmakers, but
who's zealous at Pam's body.
That's the most normal NBA players.
It's a 3D guy.
Yeah. I just have a guy.
that's hilarious
who is that
so
I just run this whole thing back
you got Ciacom with god damn
Rudy go bare body
got scylobiciere
yeah
oh is boozez with Bam's body
obi topin
that's a good comparison
like a stronger
obit topping
kind of stronger
yeah
a little bit more dense
that's a good comparison
Julius Randall
No, no, no, no.
Not, no, no, no, Modis hasn't got those skills.
Not yet.
Yeah.
But if he's built like, man, maybe you would.
Next thing we're going to do today,
we are going to play NBA-era ball.
If you guys haven't seen this website,
it's pretty similar to 82-0 that we've been playing as of late.
We are going to, like 82-0,
spin a wheel, get a team and a decade,
and try to put together the best team possible.
But in this version, we had to pick which era we want to compete in.
So, for instance, if we pick the 2020s,
We obviously need shooting with the modern spacing era.
If we were to pick 70s or 80s, the shooting wouldn't matter as much.
The players are still going to be from all these decades, but we can pick which area we want to compete in, which informs our team building decision.
Yeah.
I think we can do 80s through 2020s, try all of them and see which one we fare the best in.
All right.
I was thinking when we start off in the 60s.
We're not doing 50s.
Please for the love of God, no.
Because we would just play in that era so you can get players from today, right?
Yeah, you'll play us from all these areas.
Bro, let's put Janus in the 60s.
Let's see what really happened.
We do it then.
We'll go backwards.
Let's start with 2020s first.
Oh, go ahead.
Let's try the ability to go 82 and O there.
See if we do that in 2020s.
Okay.
All right.
So first spin, what we got?
Detroit 50s.
Fuck.
This is the worst.
They would have killed in the 60s.
Oh, my God.
But they can't play in the 2020s.
Is there any shooters here?
Zoom in.
I can't see the names.
I can't see anything.
George.
Why is it?
50s on here. This is painful. Yeah, no, I don't
bro. We have one re-spin the whole time. You want to
use it? This is the, I don't think that we can get
anything worse in 50s. Oh wait. The 50s
pistons. Also, we're in 2020s
right now. Yeah, we're Coots. The 50s
players are all useless. Respir. No, wait, wait.
Let's get like a rebounder or something.
No. I think we have to just
assume unless you want to put a rebound. Yeah,
that's so that's so unimportant. We get a rebound.
If we only have one re-spin?
So you're going to put George Yardley at our
bench? There's their spots.
Yeah. Who's ever, who's ever
leading with the rebounds, they could be on our
bench. I put George Yardley at our bench
spot with the least amount of minutes. That's
sort of for points. Can you click on the bottom, sort of
rebounds?
Walter Dukes. Yeah,
put Walter Duce. How many rebounds he averts?
He shoots 45% from the field.
That's going to fuckers. Don't do that. Don't do that.
That's going to fuck us. No more
respins. Forty-five percent. We can't
get worse than the 50s.
Detroit 90s. Okay, there we go. Way better.
So which one of these players transit to the 2020 is the best?
Probably Grant Hill.
Do you want to start him?
I think we should put him on the bench.
I don't think we can move players.
I don't think we can move him after.
Damn.
I think we start Grant Hill
and try it shooting around him.
That's not bad.
That's not bad.
Yeah.
We don't think Isaiah Thomas translates today.
He can't,
but he had his best years in the 80s.
So I would say Grant Hill.
Okay.
Grant Hill put him at small Ford.
Yeah.
Okay.
There we go.
That's the start.
That was Brown before Braun.
That was Braille before Braun.
All right.
Next spin.
Boston 60s.
Okay.
Give me Bill.
Yeah, Bill translates today.
Hell yeah.
Do we start Bill at the center?
He could play today.
Hell, yeah.
Yeah.
Have to.
Have to.
We're not going to get spacing points, which they do some kind of multiplier for, but that's fine.
You think I give a damn about the analytics?
Roll the ball out, Bill's one of the best.
Okay.
Oh, 50s again.
Baltimore.
Get the rebound off the bench.
Well, zoom in.
Who's their best player?
Or a passer off the bench?
Ray Felix is the center.
Brother he averaged 17 points.
Fuck.
You still set to us points now?
Yeah.
Yeah, it's set to points.
I don't think the scoring is not going to be something like,
I feel like either, if you're coming off the bench and you're in the 50s,
we should get somebody that specializes in one thing.
So steals, blocks, assists, one of those.
Exactly, you're right.
Let's go center.
Okay.
Ray Felix, it is.
Wait, wait, so what about Redox?
Please.
It's still Ray Felix.
Okay, cool.
All right.
Are you on our bench?
Yeah, let's do it.
Okay.
It's our best option.
Put them on our lowest bench,
points minutes per game
yeah I want him clapping for most of the game
yeah that'll do
all right he's probably a good clapper
next spin
why are you giggling
Atlanta 2020s
okay 2020s do you want to try young
off the bench six man hell yeah
off the benches
six man he had to make sure he said that
hell yeah
right placement
yeah Trey young six man that works
are you put in a team
yeah put him on our six man so it gets the most minutes off the
bench.
I'm putting together a team.
That works.
I think we're competing in 2020 is quite well so far.
Portland 70s.
Oh, Bill Walton?
Put him off the bench too.
Oh, we got to, we got to dominate this era?
We got to make sure that we need spacing on the bench with the last spot.
Yeah, we need a shooter.
But Bill Walton on our bench is a good pick.
Okay.
Please, we beat two, B3.
Whatever.
It doesn't matter.
Put three.
Oh, never mind.
He can't lock it.
Yeah.
B3.
So we definitely need a sharp shooter off the bench now.
Preferably a wing.
starters. Holy shit, we don't have
new jersey net 90s
90s who transit
zoom in? This is not
this is not good Sean Bradley
We need a passive. We need
a passive. It's our bird
Marbury
We go we go to sell
No, that's at 19
Keith Van Horn too. I think Keith
Van Horn is our best bet because he
can shoot right?
What is that? 52%
Jim Jackson
Click 3. Percentage. I forgot they have that
yeah Jim Jackson can shoot
Jim Jackson could shoot yeah
37%
but are we better off for the bench spot
27 and 1 for 16 5 and 5
let's go Jim Jackson
well-rounded bench players 16 5 and 5
can play make and shoot 3s
okay and here we go
three spots
three starters three starters
let's see what this team is gonna be
maybe we should have started
I know
fuck you can't move them can we
no I don't think so
they're like Cleveland
oh you can move them
oh I don't know I don't want to move them
We'll see
Not yet, not yet
Cleveland 2020s
DeMitch
Yeah, DeMitch should be here
Yeah, DeMitch is shooting guard, that's cool
Okay, you feel good about that
Donovan Mitchell
Yeah, yeah, can't be upset about that
Damn
D Mitch Grant Hill, Bill Russell
We're cooking so far
That's a good team
Two spots left
Please
Give me Luke or someone, please
Indian the 50s man
He's fucking 50s teams
All right now put Troy Young at the one
And we'll bring
Maybe like a steep
Steels guy off the bench?
Oh, maybe you can't move him.
Ooh.
Oh, yeah, you can't move him.
Damn.
Yeah, we cooked ourselves.
All right.
Defensive monster, let's organize for steals.
Or, yeah.
Either steals or blocks.
Steels for real.
We didn't get a steel.
No, an average of steel.
Because there's no 3.4% of, right.
Oh, they didn't track steals back in the 50s.
They didn't.
You're right.
Or 3.4 percentage.
Or blocks.
Yeah, we're cooked.
Go to points.
We need a power for it and a point guard.
Assis.
Is there a point guard that has a point guard that has a
a lot of assists on the 50s?
Nope, 4.8.
Yo, these guys fucking suck.
What is happening?
Who's our leading score?
Yeah, I don't like this, bro.
Ralph Beard?
Who the fuck is Ralph B.
You're pissing me off, Ralph?
Go to Pile Forward.
Who's a forward that the scored?
Ooh.
Joe Grabowski.
Yo, pick one of these guys, man, please.
We gotta go Ralph.
The 50s are not good.
Your boy, grab on.
There's a grabon.
Let me see.
Where?
Grubowski
Grubowski
Grubowski
Your boy
I guess you gotta go wrong
Huh
Is that just
just ruined us
Oh this sucks
All right yeah
Just go wrong
So you can't
Even on the screen
You can't move them
I don't think so
No
Damn
I will need
We need brawn
Brun or bust
All right
Here we go
Everything
Everything's going wrong in life
We need broad
Lexx
That's 80s
Clippers 80s
Oh Clippers 80s
Can't read
80s.
Oh, man.
Seems sucks.
Oh, but we can get,
what by Blake on his name?
Bob Bakke who played in the 80s, right?
Go to center.
Let's see.
Zoom in.
He's not on there.
Damn.
He played for the clippers.
I don't think in the 80s, though.
Is it the 70s?
All right.
Danny Manning is probably going to be the pick
for the forward position.
Sort by three point percentage.
Let's see.
Three point percentage in the goddamn 80s.
What are you?
talking about 34 33 what are we talking about
Jamel Wilkes
hey we got to beat these guys ass on the boards
that's our best hope honestly
like Donovan Mitchell just throwing shit up and seeing
what happens
who best rebounders
yeah who the best rebounders
Cedric Maxwell
how many is that seven
that's eight? Fuck
seven point nine all right what about the centers
I think we need to go Danny Manning
just pick the best player
The best center average 8.7?
Yo.
All right, yeah.
How many games this team win?
Get Danny Manning.
Are we going to win 60 games?
We can put Danny Manning at the four.
No.
Who is this an NPC at Point Garber?
Fuck.
All right and lock it in.
Don't disrespect, Ralph Beard.
2020s.
Oh, we can draft the coach?
Yeah.
Oh, you draft a coach.
That's so dumb.
Spin coach.
We can use a re-spin, too.
Okay.
Mike Shulet.
Respin that shit.
What would be in someone worse, though?
What if we get Brian Keefe, then what?
He's a C.
Terry Stott?
All these coaches are just ceases.
One more re-roll.
Who cares?
Sure, one more.
Sure, why not?
Phil Jackson.
F on office.
Except the coach.
Simulate season.
Simulate.
Oh, okay.
Our team sucks.
Oh!
What?
Yo, we didn't even crack.
Penn wins.
What?
I took this three weeks to get a win, buddy.
Am I tripping?
What the fuck?
8 and 74.
That's insane.
Yo, we get, we're 8 and 74, and we got the 13th pick.
Yo, we're fucks.
Yo, we're cooks.
Yeah, we have no Russell D. Mitch and Grand Hill.
You're lying, bro.
Our coach must be a plumber.
Oh, my soul, you're lying.
You still had Trey Young.
Yeah.
And a F for the coach.
What?
Our coach must be an insured salesman.
That's idiot.
Tray Young won six men of the year.
What?
What?
All right.
So that was 20,
2020.
Honestly, bro, we got to go 60s.
We have to.
We'll do 60s.
But they don't have a three point line in the 60s though.
I first made 2000s.
Spurs 80s.
George Gervin.
Okay.
Solid.
Or David.
Robinson?
Oh, for 2000.
What's more important?
Oh, 2000s
David Robinson, I think
You need to be
You gotta have a big
Yeah
Yeah, okay
2000s it is
Center
Yep
Okay
That makes sense
Feel good
Okay
Watching
Watching the losses
I don't know
Syracuse in the 50s
What?
Which team is
Is the Nets
I don't know
Respend
It's the 50s
What
Do you want to waste
A rest spin though
It's not a wist
It's the 50s?
What if we, like, we've got the 50s so many times before.
I'm traumatized, man.
Either way, we got to use it on the 50s team.
Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Your boy, your man, Dolph Shays is there?
Oh, Dawson is there?
Yeah.
I fucking pick Dolph Shades, put him on the bench.
All right.
What does he do?
Rebound.
All right.
And score, I guess.
Rebounder off the bench.
Okay.
Yeah, P3 is fine.
That's 20 and 13 right there.
Cool.
Okay, that's tough.
That's a hooper.
He is a plumber.
Minnesota 2000.
There you go.
Hell yeah.
In the decade we're playing against.
Let's go.
Hell yeah.
KG and David's a crazy start.
Okay.
With Dolph Shays, too.
Give me D. Wade.
Indie 2000s.
Jaylon Rose.
Jermaine O'Neil off the bench.
Payser for some shooting.
Danny Granger?
I wish you could just re-spin the team.
It's 2000s.
Those shooting doesn't matter that much.
Maybe just go Jaylon Rose,
to three.
Can he come off the bench?
He could.
He could.
He does a lot of everything, though.
So I think having a glue guy in our start line up would be good.
Yeah, January is the three.
Okay.
That works.
Rose, Garnett, Robinson.
This is good.
This is good.
For 2,000 hoops.
Dolf Shea's off the bench.
Dolphshs off the bench.
Big Dolph.
Yo, he's going to be mad confused.
Phoenix 2010s.
Spawn out of nowhere.
It's a tarnation.
He's going to see a much of a black light.
He's like Captain American.
Yeah.
He's going to see a black coach.
Shit himself.
Nate McMillan.
You could use that water phone, too.
He's an adjacent kid to be confused.
Who side are you on?
Oh, my God.
Which shot are you?
All right.
So we got
Phoenix 2010s.
Devin Bukker 2.
Hey,
McMillan definitely
the funniest
black person.
It's like
Sam
God
Oh my God.
All right,
Devon Booker and R2.
He's going to be mad
confused.
All right.
This team is,
this team is good.
I think he's the only
white dude on this team.
Milwaukee 8.
Eadie's.
Ooh.
Oh,
damn.
I know.
I never guessed out.
Damn.
Damn.
Fuck.
I don't work,
Kareem.
I know.
It's either Terry coming to
Marky Johnson.
Just put Terry Cummings on the bench.
Who cares?
Okay.
All these old are
best.
Confused.
Bro, but they're hoopers.
They're all they're all being confused.
Also, he's in the 80s.
He's not as confusing Dalshay's.
You're right.
Vancouver.
What is that confusing?
What are Dolshay's going to do when MLK Day hits?
Protest.
Yo.
They go ask him wearing a black shirt.
He's going to take a knee.
What if he was like an ally?
What if he was an activist?
That would be so funny if he was like,
aggressive back then.
All right.
Take your
You're going to shit this
bitch when he sees KG
G.
Yeah,
KG's huge.
And David.
Take your
push your reef
on the bench.
You know,
David Robinson looks like a gladiator.
We'll go four.
Oh.
Yeah, we need a modern
bench player.
Actually,
90s isn't two
whatever.
Okay.
Oh, my.
Is this his refit
at 2.8?
this a game? Did I read that right?
Yeah.
Cap 70s.
What is Calvin Hayes?
Oh, Capitals.
Oh, Capitals. Okay.
All right. So Elvin Hayes in our bench?
Yeah.
Y'all, our team is straight Oaks
off the bench. Damn.
Okay. Okay. Okay.
Oh.
Here we go.
All right, we need a modern point guard
and we can really make a run.
Give me Luca.
Come on.
Let me Steve Nash.
Baltimore 60s.
Oh, what the fuck.
Sort of.
Take Earl.
Take Earl.
Oh, Arm Earl.
We have no.
Okay, cool.
So O' Monroe.
He's a 60s player.
They're going to hold that against us because they're playing in the 2000s.
Yeah, this is not a good.
Oh, they have, um, arrowfit 70%.
Yeah.
Tough.
It doesn't matter.
Just put them down.
That's our best option.
All right, here we go.
Drafting the coach.
Let me Greg Popovich.
He could do some.
Please.
Jay Triano.
Uh, re-spin.
What the hell?
Derek Fisher.
Every spin.
Respin.
Respin.
You're traumatized.
J.B. Bickersstow.
Cool.
I will live.
Good culture setter.
I like it.
He won't sink us.
Sim this season.
Okay.
Oh, we're in games.
Yay.
Yay.
Yes.
Only 63.
Okay.
I'll take that.
Listen.
I lost 704 games before.
This is good.
Well, David Robinson won DPOI.
Okay.
What a Dolph deal off the bench?
Not a damn thing.
He averaged five points a game
Wait, did he lead the
He led the team of something
Scroll over
Free throw percentage
Yeah, we talk with new techniques
Okay
Perfect
He did end up being the only white dude
He got Devin Booker, you got half
Oh, you can similar to playoffs
Man
How far are we
Okay, this is too much
Okay, next one
All right man, so
Damn
What the fuck?
Should you try to compete in the 90s?
We beat Jordan now?
All right, let's try it.
It's our best shot to be good, honestly.
Can we take down Jordan in the 90s?
Let's go.
Bro, we head to the salary cap.
Oh, fuck, another.
They're too deep in the weeds.
Milwaukee 2010.
Hell, yeah.
Hey, Jordan's not going to know what to do with him.
What?
Power forward.
What's the air fit?
A hundred percent.
Yeah, of course.
He fits anywhere.
Yeah.
Even in the 90s, he can still be a goon.
Next up.
St. Louis in the 50s.
Oh, Bob Petit.
Off the bench?
Yeah, off the bench.
What's his AirFit?
Or we can start his three?
Oh, my God.
It doesn't say.
Let's.
Should we start him?
Yeah, should we start Bobby?
That's the 90s.
50s is a big gap.
They're going to hold that against us.
We could put him in the six-man.
Yeah, six-man Bob Petit.
That's disgusting.
Oh, AirFit, 75%.
Yeah, six-man Bob Petit's cool.
Okay.
Try to get a 90s center.
Oh, he's going to kill.
Spurter 70s.
George Gervin at the two, at the three?
or put them off the bench?
Three, right?
Seventies and 90s basketball
too different.
Like the 50s.
There's like a minus 10%
if I put them at the 3
so I'm put them at the 2.
Okay, too, cool.
Okay.
I'm glad it tells you these things.
I'm like 82 and 0.
Give me some clarity.
Too much to ask for?
A little bit.
Cleveland 2020s again.
Almost got wrong.
Damn.
Put D.
In the 90s, though.
A point card?
Off the bench.
DeMitch.
Not the bench.
Either D Mitch
off the bench or harder out of the bench.
bench? I don't think Hardin should be up
No. You don't think Mowgli would be good in the 90s without the jumper?
Was Moby's era fit?
Mowbly. What is he?
Center. Power 4 center.
If I put him here, 96%
error fit? Oh, wow. He could really fit in the 90s.
Yo, he would. Let's do him.
Let's do him. Let's look at Demet's error fit first, to be sure.
Demich.
96? Click point guard.
Point guard. 91?
Timish can be our point guard.
Spaces for Janus
Can we get a better
Center than Moby.
Okay.
DeMitch, point guard, that works.
Okay.
All right.
Next.
Probably come off the bench, but whatever.
Portland 2000s.
Okay.
What about 90s?
Marcus Aldridge.
Brandon Roy coming off the bench.
Oh, Brandon Roy is coming off the bench.
Oh, the Marcus Alder's best years
in the 2010s anyways, right?
Yeah.
Okay.
So Brandon, we're out the bench?
Okay, I'm fine with that.
Cool.
That's cool.
That's cool.
I'll put him in our second spot
he's pretty good
okay
all right
he was a problem
he was a problem
and sort of an issue
Chicago 70s
how does this
Gilmore
uh reisman
oh yeah
you guys on
respin
should we
yeah the bulls were dog shit
before we're this far in
okay okay okay
we've had to waste
wrist spins all 50s like
Boston 60s
Bill Russell
welcome to center
yeah
boo boo boo
era fit 80%
I don't know
what's it
That's so whack.
Bob Cousy.
Let's see.
80% error fit.
That's mad at you.
Football Cuisier, this bench.
80%.
I guess I'll go Bill Russell and hope for the best.
Only 80% airfitt.
I'd rather do a bill Russell.
They hate it on Bill.
But then again, do you want to hope for a more modern center?
There's also Sam Jones we can put at the three.
Or John Havlichette.
Oh, what's John Havichick's airfitt at the three?
Because he can shoot.
80%.
Uh, I guess.
Let's put, let's bring John off the bench.
You don't put Bill Russell off the bench of anything?
I think we should do Bill off the bench?
Bill had, what, 81%?
Yeah.
Should we just start Bill?
What the fuck you look like?
Put him on the bench?
Who are we?
We're trying to game the system.
Bill Russell, you want to go,
Bill Russell on the bench then?
Yeah.
All right, Bill Russell on the bench.
Hope we can get a more modern center.
Oh, okay.
We're building out our bench.
Fuck.
All right.
Bill Russell is the eighth man is crazy.
Spurs 70s again.
Fuck.
They already took George Gervin.
That's nasty they gave it to us again.
What the fuck?
Only one re-spend is so diabolical and not being able to choose.
We should just start a deal.
Just put that who's out on top?
Larry Cannon.
Put him on our last bench spot.
All right.
Are we going to sell this great start?
No.
Jordan's not scared yet.
He's not scared of Janus and fucking DeMitch.
He should be.
Quaking.
Milwaukee 2020s.
Damn it.
Got the wrong Yannis.
Put Kuzma at the three.
I'll kill you.
That day?
Dame.
Dame?
Where are we going to put it?
Where at the three?
You got to put Chris.
We can't move.
positions can we? No. Chris Middleton is going at the three. Dude, this is so bad. Oh, wow.
Are Brooke Lopez? Is good. Keep pairing with Yonnas? Getting some spacing out there in the 90s? They're
not going to what to do. What's the air fit? Yeah. 96%. Okay. Wow. Okay. We got spacing and Bill comes
into fucking fuck shit up. No Hamers. Okay. We started brook over Bill, which is weird. All right.
The three, Syracuse 50s.
Yo, Syracuse.
These 50s teams are diabolical.
You are killing me.
Yeah, put Dolshay's at the three.
Well, who's the top guy?
George Yardley.
Is it 25 points per game?
20.
28 and 2.
It was slightly more efficient.
He's a forward, right?
Isn't Dolph shades like a power for it?
All these dudes take our team, man.
It just says forward.
Arafat 75% for this dude.
75% for both.
Dolph.
This team is awful.
Dolphs shays.
Yo, I don't know if we're winning 40.
games.
Oh my God.
We're winning 40 games.
Jordan's not scared of us at all.
Dolf got Bob Pettett this time.
Wow.
All right.
Let's see.
This is a horrible team.
Draft coach.
Can we get a good coach for the first time?
John Coondler.
Cool.
I think we'll take him.
Yeah.
Think they.
Okay.
Oh my God.
We're not losing.
Fuck.
704 and 8.
We're them.
I'm trying to tell you.
Jordan, sit your ass down.
Beat your record.
Bro, you cannot hang with Yonnas.
He's bigger.
faster, stronger.
Yo, this is a record.
Send the playoff.
DeMitch was the only
all-star.
Come on.
Who was?
D. Mitch.
Who's the only awesome?
He's literally Jordan.
Oh, my.
Send the playoffs.
I baby whoop Jordan's ass.
Wow.
First round.
Is this the first game?
Scroll down.
I'm sure you can simulate the whole play.
Yeah.
Skilled out.
Yeah.
Simps.
Oh.
NBA champions.
Hey, we beat the game.
Hell yeah.
Fuck yeah.
Okay.
You're about to go game by game.
That's it though, but what the fuck?
Hell yeah.
Game by game is crazy.
George Gervin, finals MVP.
Okay.
Let's go.
You want to do one more in the 60s?
Please.
Okay, let's see.
Can we dominate the 1960s?
I'm scared.
I'm scared.
The point of it doesn't matter.
We don't put B pods back there.
He's going to get MVP.
The bar is so low.
Utah 2010.
Oh, D Mitch is MVP.
Or is Gobert, Bill Russell?
Let's go, Gobert.
What's the error?
What's the error percentage thing?
It's the 60s.
Gobert's 100%.
Yeah, Rudy Gobert.
He can't shoot either.
Yeah, let's go, Gober.
He's French.
DeMitch is 77%.
We're going Rudy, hell yeah.
Rudy is literally Bill Russell in the 60s.
Yo, Rudy's killing these folks.
He's like four is bigger than Bill Russell, too.
He was just born at the wrong time.
I know.
Baltimore 70s.
We have West Unsold.
West Unsold.
West Unsett off the beach.
Vince. Elvin Hayes, too.
Check, take the air fit.
Earl Monroe.
For which one?
Oh,
what's Wes's air fit?
Elvin Hayes is 97%.
Dude, 60s lineup of Elvin Hayes and Eagle Bear?
What the fuck?
We're playing volleyball on the bank.
Wes Unsled is also 97%.
Start Elvin Hayes.
We are dominating the boards in the 60s.
They're not messing with us at all.
All right.
We're 2B.
We're 2B.
Big.
Too strong.
Too fast.
Too fast.
Two figures.
Fourly two thousand.
Fuck.
Brain and Roy gets off the bench.
But is that,
does that move?
Should we just get,
or maybe Andre Miller is like
killing it in the 60s?
Brandon Roy is a fucking God in the 1960s.
What does it ever fit a point card?
88.
Six man,
Brandon Roy?
Yeah, put them on the bench.
Six man.
That's Jerry West.
That's Jerry West.
That's Jerry West.
It was one.
They're having heart attacks.
Phoenix 70s.
Paul Westfall.
Who's zoom in?
Truck Robinson.
Oh, Chuck Robinson.
Paul Silas.
Good rebounder.
Pick a bench player, please.
Charlie Scott average 25.
Okay, what's there if it?
It might be kind of high.
Put him on the bench.
97%.
All right.
Put on the bench?
Off the bench, yep.
Put them on the bench.
Our bench is stacked for the 60s.
We better go.
We have to.
I mean, we need a couple more stars here.
Cleveland 90.
Listen, Mark Price at point guard.
Mark Price.
That's tough.
That's perfect.
What's his air fit?
91%.
Mark Price.
We need a table setter.
Let's rock out.
A spacer.
Give us some star scores on the wings.
Yeah.
We're killing the 60s.
Give me Jordan.
Warrior 70s.
Rick Berry?
Sure.
Ford.
Rick Barry?
Okay.
Rick Barry are three?
Oh my God.
That is Kevin Durant.
Do we want to put him on the bench?
No.
What's the air fit?
97%
No, got to start
Rick Day
That's Kevin the Rats
97%
insane
All right
Rick Barriers
Hey man
We might go 83 and O
Milwaukee 60s
Kareem
No
No 60s
Before
Oh cream
Is there
Kriott draft in 69
Or what year
I think it was 69
We got to put them
On the bench though
We do
That's fine
Kreme on the bench
So be it
Bam
Wow
Kareem as the 8th man
Yeah that's insane
Y'all they're not ready
Lakers 90s
Oh my God
Put Shaq on the bench
Put Shaq on the bench
Shack or magic
Oh
I can put magic
I think we put magic at the two
Kobe's not
No
Fully Kobe yet
I need you go magic
You go magic to two
Or just have a million bigs
A million bigs is
Kind of a cheek code
Million big
Push shack in the last bit spot
Who cares
Pushack as our ninth man please
Oh
Who has a better like era
Check what happens
The Magic of the two
Yeah
Magic
Magic Johnson
100% error feet
We might have to go magic
It's just come magic at the two
Honestly
Let's just go magic
The bench is
He's not getting any minutes
It doesn't matter
It's magic
Yeah
Last one
B pods
We're killing them
Detroit 90s
Grant Hill off the bitch
Fuck it, Grant Hill on the bench
Or maybe Joe 2 Mars
We've only
Tom is still there
We only have one wing
On our team
Rick Barry
Let's put Grant Hill on the bench
All right
Also it's the last bench
But I don't think it really matters
here we go
draft coach
come on give us a good coach
oh yeah we need
give me
oh yeah we need a green
go for a smiter
I don't need
no
the bar's mad low
who the hell's that
but we're gonna fuck the 60s
up
Larry Drew
that's not terrible
I don't care
oh wait no no
I'm sorry
I'm sorry
that is terrible
I'm thinking about Larry Brown
yeah
I was like I don't know
let's re spin
uh
can't do worse
Taylor Jenkins
okay
all right
cool
I send this season
oh we lost games
who is
beating us.
67 and 5.
Oh, they didn't play 2 games.
Yo, we lost game.
How would lose five games?
I don't even know.
Sim to end.
We better win the championship.
Oh.
NBA champions.
Man, I was about to be pissed.
Easy.
We destroyed the 60s.
We mollywapped those fucking poxies.
Who's the finals MVP?
Rick Berry.
Yeah, I told you he's Kevin Grant.
21, 5, and 5.
What's Rudy Gober's stateline for the season?
Rudy Gobert.
10 points, 12 rebounds, two blocks.
He's still Rudy Gobert.
He's still Rudy Gobert.
All right, Rudy.
He's sending those milkman shit into the stands.
Kareem was averaging 14 points on 13 minutes.
Jesus Christ.
He's frying him every time.
And there we go.
Next thing we're going to do today.
Let's pick the most intimidating rosters on paper after NBA free agency.
So the top five teams in both conference
Who we think that with these new star acquisitions
Will be the scariest teams
Okay
Let's start with the Western Conference
A lot of changes here
Some big changes
So 1 through 5
Obviously Lakers number one
Big walk
Big who?
Walk
Walk
Walk
Walk
Big walk
Okay he's trying to make that a thing
I don't think is going to work
That's?
The Laird
Keep keep working
Keep work, Shock one.
Okay, I'll think about it.
I'm feeling three or four right now.
I feel very comfortable at three.
You also don't got to put them on there.
You can put them on there.
Put them at four.
I do think that they're going to be like a top three seat.
So they should be in the top five.
Well, I think about that.
Because obviously one and two is Spurs and Thunder, right?
Mm-hmm.
Who do you feel better about going the next year right now?
Adama added the Tobias Harris added to the Spurs.
On paper, who screams they should be the favorite in the Western Conference?
I'm going to still say the Thunder because everybody, they could have won that series.
J.D.M. Mitchell was hurt. Like this, they probably can just run this back and everything's going to be fine.
Yeah, I don't know, but you're going into year two, Dylan Harper.
Yeah.
Year three, Stefan Castle.
You lost Isaiah Joe, Aaron Wiggins.
No.
I think I'll go Spurs one personally.
outvoted Thunder 1 Spurs 2
Damn
He said jumped
So those are obviously top two
Number three
Are you moved by La Mello and Anthony Edwards
The rest of the roster
So yes
But the rest of the roster does not move me
They have too many holes
I don't believe in their depth right now
Bowling's Highland is coming back
You don't believe that
I don't think that they can be free
So they might have to be four
I think the Nuggets
You're on
The Nuckus gonna be good in the regular season, man
They haven't changed really
They don't pull up these standings
They didn't do anything to be worse at all
Yeah, they haven't done anything to make you lose faith in them
I mean they did lose Tim Hardaway Jr., though
Which will legitimately hurt
Considering the inconsistencies of Cam Johnson
It's funny because you're right
Yeah, it does suck
Like then Cam Johnson
Three for 16 games are going to feel way worse
He was playing better at the end of the year
Yeah
Rockets
I feel like we have to probably put the Rockets and the Nuggets
Rockets, Temberwolves, Lakers, get these last three spots.
I think the Lakers should be on here just because they have the best player.
In Luca?
Yes.
And the best, you know, the best white starting five?
That doesn't factor into my decision making, but they should be in the top five.
Who has more Swaggy White Boys on their team across sports history?
Potentially the Patriots.
Fair.
It's a good run.
The 60 Celtics.
I think we go wolves.
I'll go rockets over wolves
I'm not doing that
Game Fred of them leading Adams back
They got a point guard now
They got two point cards
You're smart
Mm-hmm
I think I might lean Timberwolves three
I'd rather go to
Who's coming off the bench
Don't ask me questions right now
Ayadusumu
Joan Baranget
Yeah
Tarynx Jr?
Hell yeah
Big Terrence
One of them starting
One of them guys is starting
I don't
know if the bench is going to be sold and he's a six man yeah you got six guys they'll figure
it out as as offseason stop we can't put the bet three we can't put the met with guys I'll figure
it out well as we're recording this the lakers are also incomplete they could add another great
defender by the time you guys are hearing this as of right now we don't know then these two teams
should be four and five the rockets should be three I can live with that they still haven't moved
off of katie a man Thompson is still there yeah kangoon is there they added again they added
Should the Nuggets be six?
They still have the whole core still together.
I'm just not intimidated by them.
Okay, well, let's do power rankings.
Five best contenders.
Man.
I mean, we get hate some more.
I'm, nah.
I feel like the Nuggets have to still have a spot.
The Nuggets have to be here.
They have to be here.
The Lakers are the most questions.
They really don't.
It's the thing.
The Lakers have so many questions.
They didn't get decisively worse at all.
They didn't even get worse.
They did.
Tim Hardway, I know.
But like, come on.
It's wrong to not have yokeets in the nuggets here.
I think we put...
They are the opposite of the Lakers.
Sure, if Walker Kessler makes the star leap
and we have this awesome big three of white boys,
they could be amazing.
Far from a guarantee.
The nuggets are guaranteed to be a very good team.
So we're dropping the Lakers off the face of the earth
and putting the nuggets there?
No, I'm dropping the fucking Houston Rockets person.
There's so much that could, like, just go, man, for them.
They didn't do anything to really improve their team.
They got Marcus Smart nights.
They'll be better than Denver next year.
No.
Are you sure?
I don't think so.
I think so.
Why would you bet against Denver right now?
Yeah.
They had their worst at playoffs showing, of course.
Do you feel like that's a guarantee they're just worse again?
Yolkits missed like a lot of time towards the middle and back half of the year.
I'm pretty sure that might not happen.
We can slander them and have our fun, but why would we not believe in them to be good next year?
I'm saying why can I not have that same belief in Houston?
Because they didn't address the shooting at all.
Hey, hey, hey, Bogdan Bogdanovich.
Oh, yeah.
Also, Rock his Twitter was lit.
I just stopped
I saw a big Rockets podcast
in an emergency episode
about the Boggdon Boggdon
Needles are moved
Oh man
In the regular season at least
You could have you shooting
That's not how we play
So
So like
It's not how we play
We don't fuck with that shooting shit
Yeah
Shit's weak
They're trying to operate
On a different plane of existence
And I think that that
difference will help them get above
Denver. Bogdan hasn't been good for like
three years. I don't care about Boggown
I did not utter his name.
They didn't necessarily get better
unless like Shane Boone's come out the woodworks
and shoe like.
They added Mark and Smart.
You better than that.
You're shameless right now.
He's a solid player.
He's very good player. I wish he was a Lakers still.
Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But to
expect him to like change your life.
Jr.
No,
Markis Smart.
I'm taking Marcus
Marlowe with
Tim Hardaway
He's always
won six men
in the year.
What do you mean?
Shut the hell of.
First of all,
first of all.
First of all.
He almost beat
Kelvin Johnson
but didn't.
That's not a good thing.
He should have beat him
that if he's good.
It's Kelvin Johnson.
He should have beat Kelton Johnson.
But he didn't.
Listen,
can we
can we hold the bandannas
together?
We can keep the rockets
on here
and we could dump
the Lakers
We put the nuggets on here.
Do you want to compromise?
Fuck it.
You're outvoted.
Lakers, get out of here.
Damn.
Got no defenders.
Incomplete roster, Lakers.
We'll put the nuggets up here.
What do you have to see from the Lakers to get top five?
Add Ludoort?
Yeah.
Lou Dort.
Caminga?
Some defender.
They might add Kamega, by the time people hear this.
Honestly, listen, if they add, if they add Ludeort,
top two.
Top two.
That changes a lot.
That changes a lot from you.
Fair enough.
So what do we have for our five in the West now?
Luca Reeves Dort, insert four here.
Kessler?
Yeah, insert four here is not an easy question.
Mamu?
Fine, whatever.
Eco survive.
Two seed.
Couldn't grab us at the bench.
You really love Ludo, I see.
I don't know about Tusi, but.
He loves that style of basketball.
He loves Dick small guys.
I can't condone everything that...
Sharp bite!
What do you say?
Nothing.
I can condone everything that the Ludoor does.
But he is, he can be productive for a lot of teams.
If Nuggets are on here, should they be three?
Should we just trust them more of these other teams?
Why?
I don't know if they're on here.
Clearly we were saying we trust them enough.
I trust them more than the rockets for sure.
I advocate for them just to appease him.
Okay, fine.
Just don't say fuck me in the Lakers.
All right.
All right.
So that's the five right now in the West.
Eastern Conference where all the change of happen.
This is far more interesting.
The Knicks have to be clerk at number one, right?
I'll put him once in respect.
Just raining champs.
You're not going to not put them more.
one Mitch or no Mitch I think they're still one no oh I forgot no Mitch they're getable
yeah it's the margins are definitely what we expect cat has just changed his life forever
and he's gonna be this version of cat that he was for those two months is that just him
from now yeah he's just a dominant two-way player now okay he's just literally Anthony Davis
now yeah he was the back after the series he average like eight points I don't know
he's Anthony Davis all right nix are a one because they was calling stuff you saw the
He was not good towards that after that.
Because the refs took him out.
All right.
Now, knowing what we know now.
They had a proper, the new hope.
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
Seltlies dropped Jalen Brown.
I don't know if they can be two.
No.
Pistons have really gotten better.
Pistons are not in this.
Caves?
John Collins.
No.
The Cavs lost Dean Wade.
What about the Raptors?
Shock and shit all to the chest.
Looky, who the hell is going to play three for them?
Like three, four for the cabs?
Oh.
Oh, Max truth.
Jaylon Tyson.
Yeah,
Max,
they'll be right,
that'd be right.
Yeah.
But do we have faith in and out
the rotation of the player?
I feel bad for him.
He was not going to run like that.
But do we have faith in James Hardin next year?
Is there a question.
No.
No.
No.
No.
The heat.
Bam and Janus.
No norm,
Paul.
Honestly,
right now?
I don't think none of these scenes
could be number two.
They can all be four and five.
I think I think here,
Boston,
Philly, Toronto.
Yeah, I agree.
So you're telling me that he got Janice
And that's a temper tantrum
That's what happens when you lose
Norman Powell
The Celtics still have these two first-time picks
To add one more player
When they do that, I think they'll be number two
They haven't done that yet as of recording this
So probably five
Or we could drop them below Miami
I was in three
But yeah, maybe
Do we feel good about the six years?
Are you guys super good about that?
I think I feel great about
As a second most scary team in the east
scary yes I do okay you guys are more moved than I am but if that if that wants to be our second
team so be it let's let's put them at two I can put them at ride the wave reactionary
podcast with Jalen Brown this guy added why not three three 30 point per game scores yeah fuck it
V J VJ four VJ is going to be a 30 point per game score too okay okay okay who can beat them
who's going to beat them okay I honestly think the raptors are up here though the raptors are up here
The Raptors are one move away.
Either a new starting point going
or a new starting center.
Give you one of those things
and I'm incredibly moved.
As opposed to who?
I'll start CNB right now
as we speak.
Who stopped?
82 minutes to 6.5 center?
You're going to kill him.
Fuck yeah, I'm starting him.
Look, I mean,
Kauai and Scottie's so crazy.
I'd go, I think I would go Toronto.
I do still think the Celtics will be good.
I do, yeah, the lineup is good,
but yo,
Tatum goes out,
misses a week here and there.
it's not going to look good for any of these superstars these teams suck
yonnas goes out oh i say what does that mean yeah this is a week here and there
you lose your top 10 player you're fucked yeah i guess so should miami be oh the hawks number
three man stop you're just talking
Toronto Miami Boston
do i think the pisses fell out that hard I
didn't do anything and currently they are beefing with their star center so I'm not
put them in top five at the time at the time of this recording i don't give a damn about them
i really don't dude their vibes is so bad that's why we don't we don't care about them i think yon
bam should put them there yonison bam gives you an incredibly high floor they obviously got to figure
out one more score to make it all makes sense the spacing has continued to get better i don't feel
good betting against yonis and bam though and listen man the debut on mitchell leap is about to have
come on man stop stop i think we should honestly do put the we should put the calves at three
they're like complete they have chemistry there already they're they're
can farm regular season wins.
This is just for a regular season.
Complete.
I'm going to shoot you a chemistly.
Yes, they do.
They're normal.
I'm going to hit you.
They're far from normal.
I'm going to spray you with water like a cat.
There's a bat over there.
We can break your knees right now.
This is hard right now.
So we're talking in circles.
This is quite difficult.
All these teams are incomplete.
All these teams are one move away.
What does that do here?
What does this look like to you?
When I do this.
Ew.
Does that look great?
Okay, never mind.
The cats don't look like three.
You're right.
My gut says...
I actually just got like shivers.
I don't like that.
The cast could be five.
Sure.
My gut says to go heat Celtics Pistons.
I forgot about the Pistons.
I don't know.
I think I would go...
The Pistons aren't going to fall off.
Asar is another leap in him.
Duren got his shit on the playoffs.
His career's not over.
He's going to be back.
He's going to hopefully get better for that.
What about the Pacers?
Oh, the Pacers are going to be there.
They got Kelly Ubre.
Don't care about that part,
but the Tyrese Halliborne coming back
is crazy with Zubatch.
They got deaths.
He does not get it.
Let you go.
I'm gonna,
I'm not got, put him at two.
The Paces is put them out of here.
Kick the Cubs out of here.
The Pacers are going to be great again.
They have Zubach now instead of Miles Turner.
Um,
all right.
The Pacers at two.
I think the Pacers are once again going to be fantastic.
I don't know about two.
It's a lot.
Y'all are moved by the Sixers more than I am.
No, I'm cool with that.
I'm cool with the Pacers at two.
I think we did forget.
But also,
Tyrese coming off this injury,
is this too early to put them at two?
He's been,
he's missing a whole year.
He's going to ample recovery time.
He's had a lot going on in the last year.
Yeah, I mean, you got a little sick.
He's all right, though.
Okay.
All right.
Okay, I'm fine with the pieces.
And then put Boston at five?
I think so.
Man, I'm really high on Toronto, man.
Me too.
This is tough.
There's a lot of good teams on East now.
Yeah.
They're running 80.
Hashtag East better.
The magic could get it together too.
Don't talk about the magic.
Only one spot left.
We had to either give it to the Celtics who have earned our trust with Jason Tatum.
Kauai Leonard and Scotty Barnes being a fucking freakish duo or the Pistons building off what they did last year.
I'll go about the Pistons.
I forget about the Pistons.
Let's go Boston.
I think Boston has the best infrastructure.
They have the best coaching staff of the three teams.
And they had those picks to get better stuff.
Yeah, Tatum is coming back after obviously his recovery last year.
I think they deserved to be top five.
Okay.
Okay.
Is 60 to 8, Pistons, Raptors, calves in some order?
Playoff P's there.
Yeah, we're saying fuck the pistons, man.
That's crazy.
I told you all.
Sometimes you get lapped.
Damn.
Sometimes you're OKC and you make a finals after you make the early one seed or sometimes you're the Grizzlies.
Sometimes there's your one chance.
Damn.
Sometimes you're the line.
Damn.
Tough.
Okay.
Detroit stays together.
Damn.
That's our top five contenders in both
in both conferences.
That was a harder exercise.
That is,
I don't even feel good about that at all.
Yeah.
I actually feel really good about that. Naturally.
I don't.
What is he not?
I actually know already on July 2nd.
Next thing we're going to do, a lot of new NBA duos have been formed.
We are going to play Keep 4, Cut 4 with NBA duos.
Mostly new ones.
So we'll see how you guys feel about these.
Laid land.
First one, lamello ball and Anthony Edwards.
I'm keeping them.
What the fuck?
Hell yeah.
They're fun as hell.
The shooting, the spacing.
Llobs.
Tell me more.
Oromor.
Oh, my God.
What the fuck?
Fun as hell.
Chucks
He loves to have fun
As a grown ass man
Is it bad to have fun
What's the age limit for fun
There's nothing wrong
I'm just saying
You love to have fun
As a grown ass man
You always having fun
Is that lame
Is that having fun lane
I said nothing of the source
The guy likes fun
Lemello and Eric
Yeah let's keep him
Who are we did
Deprive him of fun
Who is to do your door?
I know
your black boy
take his whimsy
never that
John Moran and Dennyovdi
man cut them
did not fun
listen it's a dangerous duo
but I'm cutting
yeah they gotta go
they're out of here
oh man
Kawai Leonard and Scotty Pippin
Scottie Pippin
you're so crazy
You're disgusting
I just read that's got it
He tried to get that off earlier
I know
What's funny is that was the Humper
It's the glaze, I know
It's just for you
It's unconscious girl glaze
It's crazy
Okay
I think as a duo
I'll keep them
We have to keep them
Yeah I think the defense is crazy
They do complement each other
Offensively as well
They should be on this list
They compliment each other, too, like personality-wise as well.
Scotty Barnes is just like...
Silly.
Overly goofy.
I saw the clip.
I saw a clip the other day.
I know him pal just trying to fizz-bump Kauai.
And Kau is just like ignoring him completely.
He doesn't do physical touch?
Not at all.
All right.
They're kept.
Julius Randall and Michael Porter, Jr.
And what?
They're not going to be bad.
They're not going to be great either.
They're not asking to be great.
They will be a duo, though.
They will, yeah, they will play on the same team.
That I can assure you.
Probably go to dinner a couple times maybe.
Maybe.
A couple times.
I don't know Julius Randall is getting down with what Michael Porter Jr. is not off the court.
Yeah.
I mean, he doesn't have to go on the pot, but they don't go get some pasta or something.
You've heard his pot conversations.
What do you think dinner conversations are like?
I don't know.
Cut him.
Yeah, no.
Jalen Brown and Tyrese.
That's cool.
That's good.
Demons.
I think we should keep, though.
I think honestly, even though that it's a new duo,
listen, might be better than Jalen and Tatum.
Mm.
Doubt that.
Do you use the road.
Ooh.
Okay.
Yeah, that would be your third keep.
Okay.
You got one more keep after that.
They're so gross.
Do you want to get up and beat the fuck at him real quick?
It's true.
It's not a fighter man.
There's a bat right there.
He doesn't want to touch it.
Come on, man.
All right, so three keeps, two cuts.
Yeah.
Luca and Kessler.
Had you said Luca in another name, I would have kept him.
We should cut him.
That is very, like, in theory.
But Luca's the best player here.
So I don't know if we can cut Luca.
It's Luke and whatever that white boy do over there.
Literally, Luca and Gobert.
All right.
With the Caucasian synergy.
What the fuck do you want?
It's not the same kind of Caucasian.
Yeah.
Oh, you're right.
But honestly, listen, Lucas has been here since he was like 18, 19 years old.
And he's wrong with an American last year.
They're good, they're good synergy.
It's been about 10 years.
It's been about a decade.
Walker comes from the South too, you know.
I was Auburn and all that from Georgia.
Okay.
Reasons from Oklahoma.
He's used to a Southern boy.
Yeah, yeah.
He likes a Southern boy.
He keeps one on them.
He'll ask you.
He really does.
Should we?
Do they deserve to be kept?
It's Luca.
It's the last one.
And he has a great defender next to him.
They fit really well together as a duo.
I guess.
Let's keep him.
I don't want to, but I'll trust it.
That's your last keep.
Two cuts left.
Oh, fuck.
I don't like it.
Yonnes and Bam.
Cut.
Fine.
Okay, yeah.
No spacing.
No shooters.
Fine. The game is the game.
Sorry, Bam, you're not Kess.
Tatum and PG.
Last one.
Cut.
Super cut.
Ew.
P.
You.
Ew, that shit stink, man.
I'd hate for that to be the duo, my team.
I mean, Luca just gets a defender and he's...
Yeah.
He's going to say it.
He's a keep.
God.
Who's better next year, Kessler or Paul George?
Kessler.
Who's better next year?
Luca, Jason Tatum.
Is that a question?
No.
Some motherfuckers.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Curious.
Because I don't know if Lucas is going to score like 10 more points than Tatum or 15 more
So I don't I don't know what the gap is going to be
When he scores 20 more points your game than Tatum it's like at that point you guys say
Tatum is better to make him Philip good because at that point it's rude
He does all the small stuff
He does some rebounding
He's a big boxing out man
The screens
His back screens are the best in the league
Why don't you go ISO?
Why don't you go win the game?
All right.
Last thing we're going to do today.
Stay on the topic of all these trades.
I'm going to name to you one of these trades.
Oh, fuck.
He's so mad.
He's red as hells.
Yeah.
We'll be back with Avengers, man.
Zero, you got us.
Is that double zero?
Yeah, I don't know why.
He just wanted to put two his hands up in that shape.
He's throwing some shit up.
I was like, oh, shit.
On camera?
You banging B?
Philippines B is not banging in Boston.
B is not banging.
You think they're gangs in Boston?
Probably.
Of course.
We're talking about this.
What are you going on in Massachusetts?
I don't know.
Two party.
It's a bunch of construction workers.
Yeah, just rock paper scissors.
That's how they like scur off their debates.
There's a much of white man lane cement.
That's all I know.
I feel like there's always, every time I see Boston media,
they're always doing construction.
They're always building some shit.
All right, man.
Is it treacherous?
I don't know.
This is a real question.
This is a genuine question.
Yeah.
All right, man.
Just don't let the woo hear about this.
The woo.
The woo?
The woo.
What?
The who.
I don't know about the musso dudes, man.
What is it?
Who are you talking about?
Who are you talking about?
The woo.
Who are you talking about?
The woo.
I mean, he sounds like the lockness monster.
So what the fuck?
What the fuck is the woo?
Who are these people?
I don't know about the demons from Worcester, Massachusetts, man.
I'm just saying.
I don't know what he's talking about.
I'm just saying, I'm just saying.
From Worcester?
Yeah.
What is that?
Don't worry about it.
Oh, my God.
You're talking like we should be worried about it.
Next to me.
You know, look at Worcester.
I'm going to name to you an NBA trade.
Okay.
You guys were going to pick the biggest winners and losers of that trade.
So first off, lamello ball trade.
Who are the biggest winners?
Oh, Anthony Edwards.
He's the biggest winner.
Finally got him a point guard.
No more.
Can he be the next James Hardin?
I fucking hate that sentence.
Get him back to Dwayne Wade trajectory.
Yes.
Oh, yeah.
So he's a winner.
Tim Connolly's a winner.
He gets to see more paychecks coming in the bill.
He finally did something right again for the Tim rules.
Rudy Goberra?
Is Rudy Gobert?
No, he's a loser.
I think Julius Randall's a winner.
Why?
He was getting bullied by Timberwell's fans.
Every time Julius Randall has a responsibility to win games,
I don't think he probably enjoys his career very much.
Now he gets to go and be a mid-commander winning 30 games on purpose
to be in the middle of the lottery with the Nets.
That's a good life for Julius Randall.
You get to move from Minnesota back to New York?
And this time, they're going to be nice to you because they don't really care about your team.
Beautiful life for one Julius Randall.
Okay.
So sucked ass for actually no, we'll get to the losers after.
Other winners, Conch Kinnible, face the franchise.
I'm making a winner.
Yeah.
Kobe White got paid because of this.
That makes me a winner.
Brandon Miller is a massive winner because he gets to.
No, he is pressure now.
He is pressure now.
He could use a point guard next to him.
I think we put Brandon Miller in the first loser.
He could definitely use a point guard and give him easy buckets.
Oh, winner, the civilians of Charlotte.
Yes.
They get to drive around without no worries at all.
Crosswalks are chill.
Insurance rates will go down.
You can jaywalk, honestly.
Like, you can just do your thing now.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay.
Other losers.
Rudy Gober has to grab all the rebounds in the world.
There's no more power forwards on this team.
Rudy Gober are going to have to catch the hottest passes alive.
The fastest pass is alive, bro.
Lamello's never played a laughter like him.
I know.
Full court loves.
I know.
People who got Nazari tattoos.
Ah, unfortunate.
Everybody in Minnesota has a Nazari tattoo.
Damn.
If you have one, you are a loser.
Yeah.
You are a loser.
Yeah, that sucks for life.
You lost his dream.
Uh.
Who else is a loser, man?
I mean, La Bella boss moved to Minnesota.
L.A. boy.
But he was in Charlotte, North Carolina.
So it's like,
he's really.
Yeah, it doesn't get, it doesn't get cold like that in Charlotte.
He's not built for the cold climate.
Listen, you know, it gets hot in Carolina.
He's born and raised in L.A.
Minnesota is the opposite.
True, true, true, true.
All right, so
Yeah, he can be a loser
Okay
Who else?
Hornets fans that enjoyed last year
And got the franchise player shipped out
As soon as things started looking bright
Every Hornets fan I know was so happy last year
I know there's some Hornets fans over there
Who bought season tickets for this upcoming year
You must be sick to your stomach
Now you're watching Heinsteinbock
Oozooke
Nozreed Hoops
It's gonna be fun
But still not as fun
Not as fun
Yeah
Unfortunately
I had to pour it out
for a second for them.
Yeah.
Had to take a moment to realize.
Yeah.
All looking good.
Okay.
Winters and losers of the Janus trade.
Janus Sinakouple sent to the he, who are the winners?
Janus, obviously.
Got out of a toxic situation.
Yeah.
So he's free.
The bucks.
Got out of a toxic situation.
Got the rights to draft native Mets.
Yep.
Yep.
Yep.
Yep.
Yep.
Oh, Eric Spolster.
He actually gets to the coach a fucking superstar again for the first time in years.
So he doesn't have to gimmick his way into anything anymore.
Tyler Hero.
Less important.
network now goes to a team that doesn't matter you're going to be one of the worst teams in the league
but you get to buckets at home fair uh Milwaukee played by play announcers now every single game they
could say Tyler hero he's from Wisconsin he's from here they get to say yacchanis and probably have some
fun jack chanis pat riley you still got it in you everyone dotted you 80 year old still got it
that biggest winner is him by far they said you can't build through free agency anymore
they said you can't have a well rounded team without drafting well pat riley said probably but i'm still
going to try and I'm going to go get Janus. He did that. Oh, Bam. They was asking Bam to do way
too much. He was just overtaxed at work. Now he can he can fall back into a regular role.
He's good. Hell yeah. Bam's a winner. Hell yeah. What about the Miami bar scene? Are they better
or worse with Janus in town? I feel like Janus is so famous the it's the it's the mobile bar.
The people who come to him. You know what I'm saying? The Greeks are going to be there.
His house is going to be the...
Oh, Miami Barbers.
He's going to bring all his brothers,
private haircuts.
They all get to come out
to the Janus Estates,
wherever that is.
See, but that's also a loss
for his brother
because now they're not on an NBA salary.
Yeah,
all three of his brothers,
they lost.
Biggest losers,
all the Ante Coupo brothers
because Pat Riley's not going to give him jobs.
That sucks.
He's not happening.
Not fine here.
Tough.
Other losers.
Norm Powell plays for Chicago now.
Got squeezed out.
He got paid.
True.
Well, yeah.
Okay.
Never not a lot of.
loser then. Yeah, he got he got paid. Wigs is still there. He has nothing to do with this,
but Nate a man is a loser too because now everyone was like, fuck, who's our next breakout guy
who has the most potential on his team? Native man, sadly. A lot of responsibility. Yeah.
To be good, to be good right now. Is Khalil Ware a winner or loser? Because he had problems
to Spoltsra and now he shipped to one of the worst teams in the league. A little bit of both.
He's just still cool aware. You know what? He does have to deal with. I, I,
I feel like having to go to work and your boss hates you is a very frustrating thing to do.
So now that you're not in that situation, I'm a, I'm going to label him a winner.
Oh, biggest winner.
My bad.
I forgot.
Ryan Rawlins, this is your team.
You have the keys.
I promise you that's exactly what he wanted.
I promised you.
He was like,
they really need to be a builder on me.
I'm really the next one.
You know how delusion you have to be?
And I think he's the right type of delusion too.
You need that.
I respect it.
That would be one of the greatest stories in NBA history if he became like that and like just a flat-out all-star.
Ryan Ron and Tyler Hero.
together, both averaging 20, winning 15 games.
That's going to be cinema.
That's going to be fire.
Getting out the relegation zone?
Maybe.
Or getting buckets in the relegation zone.
Can they be the fourth worst team in the NBA?
Maybe, maybe not.
There's a lot to ask for.
You ask for too much, I fear.
Not a lot of losers, though, of this trade.
No, I don't want to win.
Oh, my bad.
How could I forget?
B. Souls, put the camera on you.
Be Sol's biggest loser.
Oh, for sure.
Celtics fans, biggest losers.
They ended up having to trade you in and Brown for some Bullets.
shit because they didn't get Janus when they swore
they would. Yeah. What's their down
right now too?
There's that too? Yeah.
Good. The whole state of Massachusetts is down, man.
You and Hugo Gonzalez, man. Biggest losers. Now all the
pressures on Hugo. Oh yeah. He has to perform now.
Hugo Biggest Losers, the Yonish trade. You better be him.
Him and Baylor Shireman.
Yeah. Better be him.
Next one. Speaking of, who are the biggest?
winners and losers of the Jalen Brown trade.
The Sixers, big, big winner.
Big winner.
The fact you can get off Paul Georgia contracts,
dump it with two first-on picks, that makes sense.
And you've got an all-N-Blayer player too?
Got Jalen Brown for no reason.
No one thought you're going to make any moves for that meant anything.
Joelle Embed, winner.
No more pressure on his knees.
If he misses games, people will let him live.
They were mean to him last year when he's missing games.
They were bullying him, so why don't you stay on the court?
Now shit is chill.
J.B.
To the rescue.
J.B.
To the rescue.
Oh, J.B.
biggest winner.
He gets to be that,
I assume,
the leading score on a team.
I don't know.
Potentially.
Maxis too.
He's better than Maxis.
But they will appreciate him in Philly
more than they did in Boston.
They would treat him better.
He's not going to be in Jason Tatum shadow
anymore.
They don't play the same position.
You know what?
You're right.
J.T.
he told us that J.T.
was going to be on the stream.
Didn't happen.
Tyrese would be on that stream now.
Tyrese will show up.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So winner.
Twitch viewers.
Hell you.
Biggest winner.
Jaylon Brown's second career as an entertainer.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
His Twitch subs.
They're going up, his name is buzz.
If you sub to Jayden Brown, you're an idiot.
You give Jaydened around $5 a month.
You're an idiot.
Tuned in one time.
Someone gifted 25.
You're an idiot.
Come on.
Okay, those are definitely winners.
Who else is a winner?
I try to think who's a winner on the Celtic side?
Is Tatum a winner?
I don't think Tatum had to smoke for him.
That J.B.
had for Tatum, so I don't know if Tatum cares.
I don't know.
There had to be something there.
Maybe Loki was animus too.
I think so.
He could have easily, like, dismissed all this and been like, yo, that's my brother.
Like, he's not going nowhere.
He never said those words.
Exactly.
He don't care.
We're cousins at best.
He just be like, just be tweaking in the corner by himself.
Yeah.
Payne Prygian.
Payne Pritchers are one.
Guess they have more buckets.
Yeah.
For sure.
They already said he, they're expecting a jail and Brunson leave from him.
Oh.
Wow.
I said a lot.
He might be.
He might have to be a loser.
He's a loser for that.
Yeah.
That's a tough one.
That's tough.
Let's do an awesome Reeves leap first.
Let's get there first.
Let's do a Tyler Hero leap, buddy.
Facts.
Pay and Richard loser for unfair expectations.
Bill Simmons, loser, old and sad.
Yo, Derek White is one too, man.
He's just old and sad.
You saw what happened where he was when you found out?
No.
He was getting a colonoscopy when he found out.
I didn't even know that
old and sad
he had his wife picked him up
from the hospital
I had to tell him that Jalenbride got traded
If I gave my first colonoscopy
and you tell me my team trader
for one of the worst contracts in the league
for my finals MVP
I'm jumping out the car
He said he thought he died
I'm jumping out the vehicle
I'm doing a barrel roll into the graphite
we're in gravel all of my team
Oh my gosh
That's the worst place to be.
I couldn't name anything worse.
Finding out your franchise guys is gone for PG.
Oh my God.
Wow.
That's terrible.
Wait a minute.
Not a little.
No, no.
What is it?
Don't even tell me.
Your franchise guy got turned for CJ, man.
Let's calm down.
Oh, me.
Let's calm.
Let's calm down.
Oh, yeah.
Let's not.
Glass houses.
Let's not throw.
Finals MVP,
Eastern Conference.
It is what it is.
There's levels, but yeah.
He doing this gimmick again?
Never won anything.
I'm just,
I'm always pathetic.
It's not fun, you know?
I always thought.
The jokes went the same.
That's the worst gimmick.
You know I'm trash.
It's true.
You can be mad at it.
I don't even play the game like that.
You proud of this?
suck.
What is the losers of the Kauai Leonard trade?
First off,
Winters.
Drake?
Drake, okay.
He gets to have one more.
He gets to have like three more
to Rosen lines, pour some more salt in the wound.
So kind of back-to-back bar coming.
Even though that, I think Kauai was at the pop out.
Yeah, he completely doesn't care about that.
Yeah.
Winter, I think Kauai gets to go
back to the franchise he really should stay with the whole time now we get to go back to
they will embrace the hell of him again they're treating him like jesus he's the biggest
winner the same it's literally the second company yeah he doesn't have to do anything productive for
over he can play 30 games a year and still he's not paying for a single meal anymore that's crazy
he's flying back of north he is risen yeah he's cool he's risen literally that's crazy
and still he rise let's not do that still he rise shout out collard
who else the winner
Oh, Scotty Barnes, bro.
You went from having Ingram as a score next to you to Michael Jordan.
To Michael Jordan.
Now you're Scotty Pippin.
Yeah.
Literally.
Sick.
I'm Scott Pippin now.
Dude.
Just got transformed overnight.
You gave Brandon Ingram a mega evolution.
And now he's back here helping you win.
It's amazing.
Darko, big ass winner, man.
He has Kuwaiti out now and try to hype up.
He doesn't have to watch RJ Barrett necessarily be overtaxed on offense.
Doesn't have to coach Brandon Ingram no more.
Massive winner.
Payne virtual winner?
I mean, I have paid Richard.
Other one.
Emmanuel quickly winner?
We don't care what he does anymore.
Those good past the space the floor.
No, I care.
I mean, just shoot.
That's it.
Shoot, just shoot.
I can't.
Show up.
Show up.
Everybody in Canada.
What other Canadian should we shout out?
I don't know why.
Low key.
Justin Bieber, the weekend?
Are they fans of the Raptors like that?
I don't know.
I feel like Bieber is just like a four LA guy now.
I forget that he's from Canada.
So was the weekend.
Yeah.
Fuck.
All right.
Losers.
Wait, no.
Really for real.
Steve Varmer's
low-key a winner
because, hey, man,
they don't have to hear
as much about the
aspiration shit anymore.
Oh, he's a winner
because they're going to take
their picks,
but now we've got a couple
other picks and replace those picks.
What if they take those too?
Oh, that'll be bullshit.
I can't do that, bro.
That would suck.
They can't do that.
Why?
I'm going to take all the picks you have.
I'm taking you to the Supreme Court
if you try that, bro.
What?
You're going to lose.
Nah.
Winner, Pablo Tori.
He calls all
of this.
One of the most powerful forces in the NBA right now.
Like little finger.
True.
Adam Silver,
Pablo Torrey.
True.
True.
True.
True.
Quiet Leonard.
Uncle Dennis.
Adam Silver.
Pablo Torre.
Wow.
Good alignment.
I like it.
Are the losers?
Brandon Ingram.
Well, actually, no.
Brayne was not a loser.
You're right.
He still gets paid and he goes back to LA.
You live in LA.
You're right.
You're right.
You're right.
You're to leave cold ass Canada.
Go to L.A.?
Yeah.
You're even.
He's a winner.
He's a winner.
He's the average is 25 points.
Be chill.
Yeah.
Gist the average is 21 points.
Sure.
Him and Darius Garland fucking it up.
Yeah.
You're relevant hoops, but it's still hoops.
What are their combo is going to be like?
Who?
The Clippers.
Dary's Garland and Brendan and Grohl?
For Beah.
He's back home, man.
I don't know if Darry's is on.
But Bia's chilling.
the straight bombs
he's going
hit up
kicking Wagler
hit this bro
try to look
those are his bets
he's got to get stoned
clippers are winners
the fact they get to go
into this rebuild
with adding picks
adding Wagler
you would have never
thought a year and a half ago
they would be in this position
they have Garland Wagler
multiple picks
from another team
yeah
they had PG
Kawhi
and Hardin
and Hardin
Harden.
Anchors tied to their ankles.
Yeah, last year, they were really
relying on Bradley Beal's
to give them productive minutes.
They sent Chris Paul home.
Fuck. Also, Dary's Garland winner. This is his team.
Wow. There's reports that he wasn't too happy
when Donovan Mitchell got there. Not enough
touches go around. You get all the touches
in the world now. Go get buckets.
Yeah, yeah. You get to have your team in L.A.
25 and 10 on the way. He's living
life. He's having a great time.
Having a great time.
Last one.
Who are the winners and losers?
of the John Morant trade.
Both losers, no winners.
No winners.
No, no winners.
Is Jean Moran a winner?
No.
No.
Now, you got shipped to another team
with a lot of guards
that has no loyalty to you.
You're an ultimate prove-it mode.
And with the cheap owner,
we're not going to keep giving you chance
after chance.
You have one opportunity.
You got one year, buddy.
You have one chance to get this contract.
They probably won't even give you
like good recovery
because they don't want to buy ice packs.
Bro, they're not going to let us dad
in the arena for free anymore,
but he's going to have to pay for tickets.
Oh, yeah.
Keep buying them courtside tickets.
Your knees are bad.
You need physical trainers.
Here's some icy hot.
Icey hot.
He's a frozen meal.
What do you mean?
Exactly.
Here's kick cuisine.
Hold it to your skull.
Facts.
I'll send you a YouTube video.
I'll send you some Kondike bars, buddy.
John Moran is a loser of this trade.
Showblazers, though, I think are winners.
You can take a bet on John Morant.
Hope you can figure out a way to make him good.
Paying nothing for it.
Getting off a bad contract and Chris Murray.
If he doesn't work, it literally doesn't fucking matter.
Send him home.
Sure.
Yeah, I guess.
I guess they can be winners.
Loser, Denny Obdia.
Loser, Scoot Henderson.
Yeah, all these guys.
Oh, yeah.
School Henderson is a massive loser, bro.
These guys want those buckets.
Shader's Sharp and School Henderson, they just think of you or whatever.
Oh, Shadden Sharper's fucked.
Yeah.
School Henderson's a future shooting guard, hopefully, between Denny and Jha.
Shaden Sharf, get it out the mud, figure it out.
The Blazers definitely announced.
They don't know what you do, and they gave you a contract.
That's tough.
You get six shots a game.
Better make them.
Yeah.
Memphis fans, losers.
Yeah, end of an era.
Yeah.
Yeah, they've been losers for like a year, though.
Got nothing back for it.
You were supposed to be the next team.
But also it's like a new rebirth to a new show.
You got one playoff series win in that whole Jaya era.
Damn, that's it.
That's it.
They beat the wolves in one series, and that was it.
But maybe the winners because they get to rip their bandit off
and start something new and fresh with Cameron.
You got no picks straight into your franchise player.
Tough.
But you got Jeremy Grant.
Yeah.
I'm talking about any.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You should have Memphis.
Good shit, Memphis.
Nike, big winners.
They get John Morant, one of their best shoe salesmen next to their headquarters.
Right down the road.
Right down the road.
Get to keep him in check.
Look at him with a telescope from the headquarters.
Make sure he's doing right.
Oh, yeah.
The P.I.
He's there.
They're going to pay for bodyguards for him.
Portland's dangerous.
Poorly is dangerous.
Is Damon Lillard or a winner or loser?
Maybe he's a winner.
It doesn't matter.
He's an old mage now.
He gets to come back to him.
35.
And like impart wisdom.
He's like,
he's like,
he's been through it all.
I bet he's excited to him
try to like save Jamborans.
He's seen it all.
I actually don't know if he cares.
If it's a headache.
He's like,
it's like the old dude for me for you.
Facts.
Yeah.
I don't know if Dame cares.
He might just be like,
listen, man,
I'm just here robbing.
Like, I'm back,
I'm back on the trailblazers.
Life is good for me.
Yeah, I'm here to end my career.
Bro, he had blood clots and he tore his ACL.
He's living lavish still.
He don't give a damn about John Frodo.
Yeah, so he's not a
He will mentor.
He's not a mentor.
If I was him, I can imagine, like, I've done everything I need to do.
I'm just here to retire, get my money.
That's a cool little chapter, if I can say I help
bring John Morant along.
What's your, bro, starting?
Maybe they're too close in age, though.
Maybe they're too much like peers.
Too close in age.
Like, John's like 26.
The primes overlap, is what I'm saying.
Like it's not
Obviously there's age difference
He's like a decade older
I know I know
But I wonder if it
They were both
We're all-star team at the same time
Like I wonder if it feels like
Like there's enough overlap
When they're both all-stars
That maybe they feel like peers
Even though the age gap is a thing obviously
But like I wonder if he feels like
He's somewhat different generation
Or if that
You're like I said too much overlap
Nah
No I think he probably still feels like
Like he's from a different generation
He's what?
Eight seven eight years older
Probably
John's 27 I think
is dame 35
I think John's 26
damn yeah
Dame's 35 yeah 35
yeah he's like
child played two in college
he must be 22 27
so
yeah
he's like yeah
yeah yeah yeah
also Dame has like
like children
you know what I'm saying
like John's a kid too
John is too
but like John's a kid
how old is you
I don't know
to be a different combo
yeah
zero clue
yeah I think Dave's kids
are older. Like, he definitely feels
like much older than him.
Yeah. All right, well, that's end this episode. If people
are still here, what should they comment?
Watch out for the woo, man.
They're outside. They're everywhere.
Dones their foot in Boston.
If you're going to Boston, make sure
B-Soul tells you you're good.
Yeah, I'm going to check in
from Chicago. It's a remote situation.
We'll make the Zoom calls.
Yeah. And we'll see y'all next
week. Stay safe in Boston.
Hell yeah.
