Starting point is 00:00:00 B Souls is going to show us the voice of an NBA player. We have to see if we can spot that player. Name him with only our ears identifying the voice. Okay. All right. Yep. He's just some sweet serenades in our ear. Let me turn this up in here.
Starting point is 00:00:14 And I studied with the great. So he told me how to be the great without having to say a fucking word. Get these numbers every quarter. No, breeze, no, nothing. I got it. I might not get it. Let it go. Is this Stephen Jackson?
Starting point is 00:00:28 No, no. No. Fun here. Keep playing the clip. Play the whole thing. This is the whole thing. Okay. He said that's 17 in the first quarter.
Starting point is 00:00:34 By hat time, I got 30. That was easy? That's easy. Oh. This is Rashad McCann's outlining how he too can score 81 points of giving the opportunity. He said, Kobe's cool. All I need is a platform. This is Mr. 81.
Starting point is 00:00:48 Yeah, Rashad McCask. I can spot that anywhere. Mr. Out the Mud himself. Yep. All right. Next. Go get him. I really don't know the other way to explain.
Starting point is 00:01:01 and just take the shots be super aggressive, ultra-aggressive, and be willing to make a mistake and the aggression. I'm mad because I heard this. I saw this press conference, our post-game presser.
Starting point is 00:01:13 I can't remember who it is. Low-key, it sounds like, sounds like it could be cat. It could be cat. What? That could be cat. Hold on. Fucking voice changer.
Starting point is 00:01:23 There's a cup off. I really don't know the other way. Ah, really, that's cat. Yeah. That's cat. Yeah. That's cat. Super aggressive, ultra-aggressive,
Starting point is 00:01:29 and be willing to make a- Yeah, this is, I'm going to guess cat. This is one of his many voices. Yeah, this is cat. This is. Carl Anthony. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I can tell her that I was so many recognizable.
Starting point is 00:01:42 They're trying to stay at the same tone. Yeah. Part of me was thinking like, is it type of Talbotten? I couldn't really tell. I thought this is Gilbert Arenas. Mm, no, no, no, no. All right, next. Because this is my career on the line.
Starting point is 00:01:55 And I'm thinking I had just gotten cut by going to state. So I'm like, if I get cut again four weeks later, I'm probably done. Like, this is probably the end of my NBA career. That's probably Jeremy Lynn, I think. It 100 is. Oh, okay, okay. I was thinking I'm like, this is a white man?
Starting point is 00:02:09 That makes sense. Jeremy Lynn. That makes sense. This is. What's guessing Jeremy? 100%. Jay Lynn. Okay.
Starting point is 00:02:16 There you go. Three for three. Five through this so far. We're locking in. This should might be easy. Hope we got some heavy hitters coming. My brother, he never seemed to struggle with that vice. You know, I never struggled with the gun.
Starting point is 00:02:27 What's wrong with this guy? I never struggle with that vice. The guy gave me a lot of money because maybe he figured I could handle it and not, you know, lose myself in that area. Oh, my God. We know exactly this is. Michael Ford Jr., you're a sick guy.
Starting point is 00:02:45 If you're his brother, how would you feel about that? It's not his vice. Not his vice. You see me, he got my own vice. You see who comes to my podcast. And he's like, listen, it's not like I'm, you know, I'm not pushing you down. We're just different.
Starting point is 00:02:59 It's not that you're worse It's not that I'm better It's just different vices It's just different struggles in life Exactly we all have our own lot in life You for instance You were born a fucking idiot Me I'm not you
Starting point is 00:03:09 He's telling his brother This is Michael Porter Jr. He secretly hates his brother Right Different vices Different vices We also can't look around The implication
Starting point is 00:03:18 Of what his vices All right next She'll get harder Okay I'm put Wilk I got to put Kobe What'd say MJ But I heard that
Starting point is 00:03:27 Some of his stats was false You know what? I'm gonna put... I saw this. I'm gonna put an in there. My four. I'm gonna say, bam. Which young player is this?
Starting point is 00:03:34 I saw this clip. I can't remember who this is. It's not AJ. It's some other young player. You think it's a rookie? It's one of the past couple years. It was a young player because he said, I heard MJ's stats were fake.
Starting point is 00:03:45 That's a young motherfucker thing to say. I can't remember if it was this clash at last. Run his back again, please? Yep. Okay. I'm gonna put Wilk. I got to put Kobe. I would say MJ, but I heard that some of his stats was false.
Starting point is 00:03:56 You know what? Is this Darren Peterson? I'm gonna put it in. My fourth. This is some young player. He said at my four, I'm going to put bam. Bam. He said bam.
Starting point is 00:04:07 Oh, this is Kalil Ware. I did see this clip. He said bam. This is Kalil Ware. Yes. That's why he said bam. Yeah, okay. Y'all keep talking over the last part.
Starting point is 00:04:16 That was a big game. Yep, yep. This is Kalel where. I had this food passed by my head. He said, bam. Oh, that's something like my TikTok like two weeks ago. She said hit me like a train. You start seeing Bam with all the great.
Starting point is 00:04:26 You're like, what's going on? Ben 2083? What's going on here? The walls are close to get here. All right. Next. You take somebody who can't, who's never swung a golf club, and they want golf lessons.
Starting point is 00:04:38 First thing I would say is go play golf, go to the range, hit balls for a couple a week or so, and then come back, let me see what your body has developed. I just saw this one too. I want to say this is one guy, but now I think it could be a couple. How many NBA interviews do you watch? I'm online.
Starting point is 00:04:54 This is my job. Is this Vince Carter? No. No. The voice sounds familiar, though. Okay, so for a second I thought was this guy, now I'm hesitating. I want to say it's Andre Godawa.
Starting point is 00:05:02 It's not him, though. You take somebody who can't, who's never swung golf club, and they want golf lessons. First thing I would say is go play golf. Older player, calm. Hit balls for a couple a week or so, and then come back,
Starting point is 00:05:13 let me see what your body has developed. What your body has developed. That's the hint. He's talking to him about how to learn how to do something. He's using golfing example. It's a shooter. You think so?
Starting point is 00:05:25 An old shooter. I know so. I think this is a clip of JJ Reddick asking Ray Allen how he learned to shoot that way. You're in the trenches. I think is this Ray Allen? Yes. Okay.
Starting point is 00:05:35 Ray Allen. Yeah. Again, another one I just saw him. I talked like a week ago. Damn, I thought that was a deep. You sound like Vince. It is. I happened to see this interview.
Starting point is 00:05:43 It was years ago, by the way. This is a old-ass clip that happened to resurface. All right. Next. I'm down on sports today and basketball in particularly because they've diluted the game so so much. You know, the book is who's running the asylum and it's being run by various forces
Starting point is 00:06:00 that we don't even know about. Various forces we don't even know about. What do you mean about that? What does he mean about that? He'd be on TikTok live, talking about some magnet balls and shit. Who's running the league? Who's these shadowy figures running sports?
Starting point is 00:06:14 Who's this? Wait, run that back? Because he said the least being run by hoodlums? No, no, no. I'm down on sports today and basketball and particularly because they've diluted the game so so much. The book is Who's Running the Asylum? And it's being run by various forces that we don't even know about.
Starting point is 00:06:31 He said, who's running the asylum? It's running run by various forces we don't even know about. I'm done on sports. He sounds like he's from the Northeast. This is an NBA player? Yeah. It's an older player. No, who kind of sounds like, it kind of sounds like the old coach.
Starting point is 00:06:46 It kind of sounds like Kevin McHale. I don't think it's him, though. No. It's not him. No, it's not. It's not me care. For a second, I thought it was Bill Walton. Bill Walton is not speaking like this.
Starting point is 00:06:54 And I'm sorry to say this. I also heard this one recently. This is a, this happened in the past couple of years, so it's not but Walton. RIP. Yeah. This is not in the past couple of years.
Starting point is 00:07:04 Oh, I'm wrong then. Okay, never mind. Oh, so this is old. Your ears. My ears off.
Starting point is 00:07:08 You're not saying. Who played again? I'm down on, on sports today and basketball in particular because. Oh, wait. Is this? So,
Starting point is 00:07:19 so much. No. He said basketball. He's a basketball. We don't even know about it. And this is a player. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:07:26 Oh, though. Basketball. Actually, no, I thought this was like. It's kind of like a southern draw. A little bit to it. It's from the East and the know. So you think about South East?
Starting point is 00:07:38 Don't know what I thought. I thought this was. I saw a clip of Denzel Washington saying he doesn't like the NBA anymore. I thought it was that for a second. Yeah. I just thought Denzel. We're cooked.
Starting point is 00:07:45 I have no idea who this is. Okay, but it's old players. It's not from recent years. It's not Will. It's not Kareem. It's not Jerry West. That sounds like a black guy, I think, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:54 I mean, but Jerry West is from West Virginia, though. No, but Jerry West is a different type of move. Is it Jerry West? It's not Jerry West. No. No, yeah, it's a black guy. I'm down in the league.
Starting point is 00:08:03 It's not magic. The way that they dilute the game. One more time. Who's, who's talking like that? Like an 80s-90s player. I'm down on sports today and basketball in particularly because- Is it Jerry's Irvin? No.
Starting point is 00:08:14 So much. No. The book is who's running. Getting closer. Yeah. Is George Gervon? Nope. Nope.
Starting point is 00:08:20 In some way, it kind of sounds like Charles Barkley. But like a long time ago. But it's not him. No. It's, no, it's not, it's not Chuck.
Starting point is 00:08:28 It's not Chuck, I know. So he said that it was kind of close to Julius Irvin. Is David Robinson? No. Older. This is a guy,
Starting point is 00:08:37 this guy has to be like 60, at least. It really has to be like, set, like 70. So Julius Irvin is, this is Wilf? This is Wilf.
Starting point is 00:08:46 No. Yes. Yes. He's not about Shaq, isn't it? Will Chamberlain, yes. I knew I saw the,
Starting point is 00:08:51 he's talking about Shack, right? Yeah. Yeah, he's talking about him versus Shaq. I never heard of see before I'm like the 90s Yeah I saw this couple weeks ago
Starting point is 00:08:58 Gotcha Yeah He was hating on Shaq They asked him to compare Who's better today Could Shaq do what you did And then he basically was like Lease soft as fuck
Starting point is 00:09:06 Same thing Shaq said About the Day's league I saw Shaq better than you man He hated the 90s when it was modern That's crazy All right next You didn't mind Being a dare devil
Starting point is 00:09:18 Every now and then I'm not sending you mixed messages That wasn't my life If you asked me if I had fun Yes, I had fun. Yes, I did. I picked the most PG. This is also one of the most famous interviews this guy's ever done.
Starting point is 00:09:33 A long time. Magic Johnson. That's the magic man. Hell yeah. Making dreams come true. Come here, Irvin. It is Magic Johnson. There you go.
Starting point is 00:09:41 Am I was outside. Bro, I was having such a tough time trying to pick the clip. I was having such a tough time trying to pick out the clip because he was saying some wild. He was like crazy. Yeah. Some wild stuff, bro. Hey man. All right, next.
Starting point is 00:09:57 Good for magic. I asked him to have breast is right by 845, so I was kind of waking up a little. They stopped the clip. I recognize this frog anywhere. This every turn. I need two seconds of every turn to recognize him. This frog is Chris. I recognize that voice anyway.
Starting point is 00:10:17 One of the, honestly, it's so funny. It's so iconic. One of the greatest voices in NBA history. I've come around to just like enjoying hearing it now. people used to get mad when they hear them on TV and stuff and they'd be like, what is that? Like they said the same thing by my homes. I love hearing it.
Starting point is 00:10:30 I think it's dope. I love hearing it. All right, next. And we always were in the gym since we were born just because they play basketball as well. And so we always watch their games. White man. And they're our idols.
Starting point is 00:10:44 So, you know, we want to be just like them. White man. That's all I know. It sounds like an older white man. Probably. Midwestern it sounds like. Yes. Doesn't necessarily have to be white?
Starting point is 00:10:57 I think it's got to be white. Maybe not. Maybe it could be Midwestern or of another race. Well. Let me not. Just keep on. Okay. Maybe he's not white then.
Starting point is 00:11:06 Play it again, please? I was thinking Bill Walton. And we always were in the gym since we were born just because they play basketball as well. And so we always watched their games. You're around watching them. And they were our idols. So, you know, we want to be just like them. Yeah, I guess you, listen to what he's saying.
Starting point is 00:11:21 We were in the gym because they played basketball as well, trying to be just like them. sounds like it may be like an AAU circuit. So maybe it might be somebody a little younger. Is that what he's talking? What's the context here? He said we were in the gym watching his lip-hit basketball as well. Is he talking about like his sister or something? But like, so if they're in the gym, they're playing against somebody like, I, so I think
Starting point is 00:11:44 it might be somebody's sister, but it might be like an AAU circuit. There, I do think that it is an older person, though, because with the echo and stuff. It sounds like it may be like on the Zoom call. Them old people not leave their house. Are we on the right lines? Not really. Not really. Okay, it's probably not a white man. I play one more time.
Starting point is 00:12:07 And we always were in the gym since we were born just because they played basketball as well. So we always watch their games. You're around watching them. My guess is Brian's Calibarini. So you know what it's not like. Scott has a very thick accent. Does he? Okay. Did you play in the 2010s?
Starting point is 00:12:24 Yes. It sounds kind of fratbrate. boyish. No, it's not Oh, this is Brooke Lopez. Oh, yeah. That is Brooke Lopez. There you go.
Starting point is 00:12:32 Okay. I was hearing some non-black influence, but okay. Okay. Hit me like a train. Makes sense. I didn't want to call his race because I honestly wasn't sure.
Starting point is 00:12:40 I mean, he's clearly mixed and the last name was Lopez. Yeah. I'm putting two and two together. Okay. Ambiguous. Okay. Next.
Starting point is 00:12:47 Good one. I don't think I said 10 words to an entire first year. Not for any other reason. And I don't know what to talk about with the kids. So. Is that Tim Duncan?
Starting point is 00:12:57 Yes, that is Tim Duncan. Austin Rivers, okay. Good snipe. Who was you talking about, Kauai? I was talking about LeBrona. Tony Parker, okay. He said, I don't know what to talk about the kid. He said, bro, he's French, and he's 20.
Starting point is 00:13:09 I don't know what to say. They do weird stuff over there. I don't know. That's real. It's real as fuck. French people are very different from Americans. Whatever. But my trainer was sitting court-tide.
Starting point is 00:13:22 Oh, my strength-coated. Oh, my strength-old. up. We got two voices in this one clip. He forever got a just to hear it. Whatever. But my trainer was sitting
Starting point is 00:13:34 court side. My like a strength coach growing up. That's insane. That's insane. This is Tyrese Halliburton after a long night out. Yes, this is Tyrese Halliburton. You don't want to say second part?
Starting point is 00:13:49 Huh? None. Okay. I don't know what's going on. All right, next. It's the NBA. You know, I've played against many players. I've never shaken their hand before.
Starting point is 00:14:01 Is this Tyrese? Not because of me, but they just leave after. Yeah. It's Tyrese. It's not like. It's Albert again. Yes. Now, what if I told y'all, this was in a 60-second time.
Starting point is 00:14:15 This is from the same. No, that's six. From the same sentence. Yes. She was crazy. That's hilarious. That's funny. I honestly a special skill.
Starting point is 00:14:25 What do he say? He said he has like a deviated septum. That's why this happens. Is that what he said? I don't know. I go one too. I may just be making this up. I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:14:35 I believe you. I wish I got that superpower. I got a deviated septum. I just can't breathe real good. I don't got two voices. I'm not ambidextrous in my voice. What happens for you to have a deviated symptom? Yeah, what does that mean?
Starting point is 00:14:46 It means the airflow in your nose isn't very good. Basically, the passageway here isn't proper, so it kind of closes off enough. I talk real fast because I can't breathe them. my nose. It's never like it doesn't come through clean you know it sounds like I'm always congested because it's like it's inherently clogged up so I have to talk is it easy to fix or like you have to surgery it's like a nose job essentially not cosmetic but they have to go in there and like clear out the canal so like if you got if you got the surgery tomorrow how long would you be out uh it would be bruise and fucked up for like two weeks be sensitive I couldn't get a contact or anything
Starting point is 00:15:18 maybe it's longer tailed than that than two weeks but like you're like wearing bandages for a couple weeks. You got to do it around Halloween. Fair point. I can be the weekend for Halloween. At some point I need to do it because I can't breathe. I'm a mouth breather when I sleep so I wake up super thirsty
Starting point is 00:15:35 every day. You got all that nose. He can't breathe. What the fuck? You got to get some breathing class. All that knows you can't breathe. Space. What?
Starting point is 00:15:51 I just refuse. to believe that's a problem i don't have enough space not empty space is clogged up full of bullshit hell of fucking tissue in there cartilage messes up for no reason yeah that doesn't function
Starting point is 00:16:10 what purpose do you serve what purpose do you serve
