Starting point is 00:00:00 I'm going to show you an NBA star. We have to pick their best and worst teammate of all time. This isn't going to be like actually the worst player to be on the roster because obviously there's like a 15th man that is terrible. But the worst teammate in terms of like relevant teammates that didn't work. Destructive, no chemistry, failed experiments, whatever it means. Steph Curry, who are the best and worst teammates he's ever had? Immediately when it comes to worst has to be James Wiseman, man.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Sold off like the entire decade of the 2020s. That's the worst player. He's not a bad guy. Curry team, man. He just wasn't that good. No, I'm thinking like the Delo thing never worked. You know, honestly, the best and worse could be Dremont Green. He could be both. You sold off so many things, man. You lost it to 2016 championship. You want me plenty of gains being the best team if I could ever imagine on the other side. You drove KD out of here. You forced the Warriors to go ahead and trade away Jordan Poole. Dremont give it and Dremont takeeth away.
Starting point is 00:00:53 I like that. He's a rare talent. He's both. A coin, depending on what side of the bed he wakes up on, he can be best or worse that day. And that is the duality of man. Yeah. A man with nuance. He contains multitudes. He has a complicated legacy. That's okay.
Starting point is 00:01:10 Joel NB. The best and worst teammates. Best teammate, it's either Maxie or Jimmy Butler. I think I would. I think we go maxi for time play. There's no falling out. Hasn't left. He came in as the little brother,
Starting point is 00:01:24 going to be the next generation, has risen into being the star alpha. He checks every single box, every step of the way. Yeah, he has the longevity. If it wasn't for Maxis, Ascension, I would have been like Jimmy Boulder because they worked so well together.
Starting point is 00:01:35 This is the first that he's made in this career. Short live. Second round again, but goddamn, man. Now worst. Which failed guard do we want to go with? It's Ben Simmons. It's Ben Simmons. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:46 When you think about how much was riding on Ben Simmons' shoulders that directly affected Joelle and B's legacy, it's Ben Simmons. Dewelele B was out there playing hurt and he said, listen, it's us too against the world. can you go carry me today?
Starting point is 00:01:59 And Ben Simmons said, absolutely not. Yeah, man. He saw 5-11 rim protector, Trane Young, put fear in his heart. He said, bro, I clock out at 5. The game starts at 6. I don't know what you want for me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:11 You're lucky. I'm here. I can't tell you anything. Fashion week starts tomorrow. I don't know what I'm doing here. It's like you left because Ben Simmons was so bad and that experiment went off the roads as much as it did. Now we had to cycle through so many guards.
Starting point is 00:02:26 we had to go through a James Harden era. We had to go through a Tyrese maxi drafting, then rise up. Now I'm even here. I've lived three lives. No, Ben Simmons, Ben Simmons getting hurt and falling apart, directly led a chain event that finalized with Paul George getting $43 million a year as a wash player.
Starting point is 00:02:46 Destruction. He's the worst. Tragic. Kevin Durant's. Best. Now, this is, like to know, worst you might think of one name immediately. He's had quite a few bad teammates that didn't work out.
Starting point is 00:02:56 What? Low key. Bradley Bill could be the worst in terms of not getting anything out of it. Draymond Green drove him out of a dynasty. That could be the worst. But he also won. He should have won a championship. Then he blew up that Nets team when we thought had the high expectations.
Starting point is 00:03:10 It could be a lot. True. I, Andre Robeson just refused to shoot. Oh, you always those shots on Andre Robertson. What did he do to you, man? One of these is not like the other.
Starting point is 00:03:20 And that one is Osjuriperson. He is like the most irrelevant player when it comes to think about who ruined his career. Kendrick Perkins? There's just, there, first of all. You could say Kendrick, because you're talking to him. There's just a, a shot, an image just in my head of Andre Robeson having the ball. And Kevin Durant yelling at him, shoot.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Like that. He's not Andrew Robeson, though. No, man. Kari Irving, Tabo. No, God. We probably have to go, Dremont, realistically. He literally left the greatest team we've ever seen in our lifetimes because Dremont Green was that fucking mean to him. I don't know if it can't be German because he was worse.
Starting point is 00:03:55 He won at the time. end of the day. Who cares? I could have won three more, but Dremont Green was mean to him. 2021,
Starting point is 00:04:03 they should have won a championship with the Nets. Karee said, not my body. But now, overall, there was too much good
Starting point is 00:04:10 for that. Dremont Green's worse. Yeah, Bradley Beal is the one. Yeah, he got nothing out of it completely. But also,
Starting point is 00:04:18 I think I might have to go Dremont over Bradley because Bradley, I can't, because I was going to say that Bradley didn't ask for it. He quite literally
Starting point is 00:04:25 approved the ready to go over it. So I can't say that. Bradley Bill just got a bag. He just wasn't that good. Dremont Green actively decided to do actions that led to Kevin Drenet leaving. It's Dremont Green. You tried to show him on the court too.
Starting point is 00:04:38 Best? Steph Curry. Steve Curry. Easily. It changed his life. He facilitated you getting a finals MVP. He built a foundation you came in and built your legacy on. Stuff Curry.
Starting point is 00:04:49 Yeah. Play it again. Russ is number two, though. Sure. Luca Donchich. Best and worst teammates. Kyrie has to be the best. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:04:59 They made a final together. I guess you're right. Yeah, Kyrie. I think Kyrie should be the best. Changes play style. They both change the play style to fit with one another. I can see Kyrie being the best. No, Austin Reeves, love.
Starting point is 00:05:10 They're best buddies. They're best friends. Hell not. They're going to be together for a long time. Getting early? You got to do something first. You got first round about Rudy O'Bare. Can't be the best yet.
Starting point is 00:05:20 Worst? LeBron James, you're making $6 million. You don't deserve it. You don't deserve it. You're tanking this team. Who's like the most annoying guy K-P. It's easily Porzingus.
Starting point is 00:05:28 Yeah. Porzingus. They thought they were getting him the star that fit with him for a decade. This European duo would be so cool. So marketable shit blew up so fast. They hated each other.
Starting point is 00:05:38 Prozingus hated him so fucking much, bro, in his play style. And the worst part about it is Porzingus has come out afterwards and be like, yeah, I was tripping. Exactly. I should just bought in.
Starting point is 00:05:47 Yeah. I showed us at those screens. We could have been the most dominant European duo ever and you messed it up. Just because you don't want to stand in the corner and get open threes. He didn't want to set a pick and pop.
Starting point is 00:05:57 What else would you do? You were a porzinez. He thought it was mellow. You're seven, three. Selfish. Kobe Bryant's best and worst teammates. Worst is Kwamey Brown. Hands down.
Starting point is 00:06:11 No. Or like Smush Parker. So no, Kobe's the worst teammate to Smush Parker. Smished and do a damn thing at Kobe. Kobe just decided to pick a fight. I think if we weigh importance and quality of player and how much they determine the player's legacy, the worst is easily Dwight Howard.
Starting point is 00:06:25 Mm. Okay. Dwight Howard not making it work and being not the right personality fit for Kobe Bryant's style of personality. Force him to tear an Achilles. Correct. They completely fell on her face. That should have been a super team and it lasted a year. You could go Dwight, man.
Starting point is 00:06:41 You could go Dwight. Best. Best is obviously. Shaq? Is she a Shaq or Powell? Can you say Shaq? Can you say Shaq? I think Powell.
Starting point is 00:06:49 Yeah, I think I would say pal. Or is this another one like Steph Curry where the best and worst is Shaq for both? Yeah, that's honestly, that could be up for debate. That could be up for debate. But I think Powell and their off-the-court relationship in my lad, they spoke different languages to each other on the court. Different level of chemistry.
Starting point is 00:07:05 Pows keeping up with Kobe's family. It's Powell. Let's give it to Powell. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Pau's an uncle to his daughter. It's pal. Yeah. Jason Tatum.
Starting point is 00:07:14 His worst teammate. Kyrie. Kyrie could be Marcus Smart. Kimball Walker. That ain't work at all. They tried to make him to do the next up. Yeah, but he was just bad. I think Kyrie is the,
Starting point is 00:07:24 the one that's like actively yo bro you're you're really messing this up they lost a playoff series because kairi decided to go guard yonis and decide to blow up the defensive game plans is that true yes you try to check yonis what the fuck is what he's like let me get them that's the only reason they lost but it
Starting point is 00:07:42 the camera she blew up and it wasn't all kairi but we can go kairie for worst and then for best it probably is jaylin brown they're best buddies for life probably going to go down as one of the more iconic duos of modern NBA history just for the amount of time they spent together, the amount of trials and tribulations they played through, hit the mountain top, fell down with injury, my hit the mountain top again, they're on pace to be
Starting point is 00:08:02 a very iconic duo. Facts. Yeah. Gilbert Arenas, best and worst teammates. Nick Young. Easy. For what? Nick Young or Gil was Nick Young's vet.
Starting point is 00:08:14 And so they were locked in like that. But then also, they were disgusting brothers. So you're saying Nick Young's is best. Your best and worse. there's that one more clear and obvious worst who's the worst perhaps the one he pulled it out on hey man you're a grown man
Starting point is 00:08:37 he can't I don't know if it can be worse I can't I can't put him at worse yeah that was Gilbert's own decision Nick Young is hilarious so you're saying the one he got into a near gunfight with is not his worst he made's no that's that's an internal problem okay you respect has to get out the right way yeah you're saying Everybody talks about it. Everybody gets to get in the locker room, catch me up in the back. They actually did it.
Starting point is 00:09:00 Because on one hand, you do have to respect that of like, you challenge me. I stepped up to the challenge. Now we're here. What are you prepared to do? Like, I do get that salute to you. I hate you let die. Right. There's a, it's got, it's got a poetic.
Starting point is 00:09:14 But also, once again, you're a grown man. You're thinking, you don't have to be doing this. He's crazy, man. He really said, you throw your life away. I'll throw my life away. He's insane for that. Jimmy Butler, best and worst teammate. Ooh, man.
Starting point is 00:09:28 Now worst, we have a laundry list of failed teammates. Cat comes to mind immediately towards number one. It's so much. It's probably Cat. Cat was the franchise player and he was like, that guy is big, soft, and I hate him. Give me his money. They didn't work out. Left the team.
Starting point is 00:09:44 Also, Tobias Harris. Oh, yeah. They chose him over me. Yeah. If he was, Tobias Harris wasn't there, they would have had to keep me. but is that a is that a Tobias Harris thing or nope but guess who he blames Tobias who gets who he has a little edge on against him
Starting point is 00:10:01 every time oh man I think I think it's better to go cat it's definitely cat it's 100% cat he's so one to one like I hate you you are weak as fuck and everybody notice and everybody starts saying that forever best
Starting point is 00:10:17 is it BAM he made it to the finals they made him and Jell and B they love each other Him and Steph Curry love each other. Him and DeWade love each other. It's D. Wade. Maybe D. Wade.
Starting point is 00:10:33 But the plate together was, nah. Nah. Nah, it's definitely not Dway. But they're homeys off the court. He's the reason why they're, yeah. He's in Miami. And they've been really successful. But I don't think that BAM is the number one teammate.
Starting point is 00:10:44 It doesn't feel like it. I guess it has to be just by default. But yeah, nothing screams the iconic duo to me there. This guy's a mercenary. But I guess you go, bam. They made two finals. It has to be that. It's the most successful duo.
Starting point is 00:10:55 Yeah. I guess. Russell Westbrook, best and worst Best is Kevin Durant Okay, probably because there's no other other option Really? Who else they click with and have some great duo with? Nicole Yolkich, I guess, I don't know, man Loki that year was magical there for each other.
Starting point is 00:11:10 Yeah, like he changed and the narrative for six months about his career. Yeah, I'll be like three. I'll go KD for best. Worst. Lebron. There's a lot of bad ones. LeBron. Is LeBron James quite easily?
Starting point is 00:11:23 And they are inverse, like, Russ is LeBron's worst. Yeah. The worst thing never happened to Russ is getting trade to LeBron's team. Actually, the worst thing never happened to Russ
Starting point is 00:11:34 was with him stopping being on to make jumpers. The second worst thing never happened to Russ who can trade to LeBron's team. Yeah. The third thing, that's the worst thing.
Starting point is 00:11:43 He's blowing layups now. The number one thing that I just can't get out of my mind is that pregame video where he was like, all, y'all, let's have fun. One, two, three, four, wait.
Starting point is 00:11:53 And LeBron was just in the corner. That's pissed as hell. Yep, yep, yep. It's LeBron pretty easily. Chris Paul, best and worst teammates. His best team you might be Devin Booker. They went to the finals. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:07 Perfect. Yan. Yeah. Could argue, say, because they had that one weird year where there, where no one had expectations for them. And they're still friends.
Starting point is 00:12:14 And he's been like super locked in. Yeah. But they didn't win anything. Didn't win anything with the Hornets? It's definitely not Blake. It's definitely not Blake. Yeah, it's not Blake. Hell no.
Starting point is 00:12:23 They fell apart. It's not hard. And they fell out. which I think we forget about that they like oh well they demanded each other to be traded who's he cool with man
Starting point is 00:12:30 I was ashamed every teammate ends poorly Chris was going on man maybe the clips were right we'll go Devon Booker why not worst teammates
Starting point is 00:12:39 huh yeah I mean but they made it far there was real beef that far those real beef I forgot who was there there was real beef
Starting point is 00:12:50 between him and Blake there was and him and Hardin like it ended bad. Yeah, I think the Hardin one, it ended bad, but it was such short-lived that I think maybe the Blake one probably still- Chris Paul said, I need you to trade Hardin.
Starting point is 00:13:05 And he said, get the fuck out of my face. I don't remember that at all. That's crazy. That means more to Chris Paul's audacity than the hatred. I'll go, I'll go Blake Ruff. Do we just go, oh, wait. Let's go, Kauai, Leonard. Kauai, nah.
Starting point is 00:13:19 Dude, they just sent Chris Paul home because he didn't fit with his team. No, so then it has to be James Harding. Because he was there again. They fell out in Houston and they fell out here. Twice. The timelines are falling out. It has to be James Hardin got him shipped away to be banished to Oklahoma and then got him shipped away to be banished in his farewell tour.
Starting point is 00:13:36 Now, was it all James Hardin? No. But he was there at the scene of the crime twice. That's quite the coincidence. He got longevity when it comes to falling out with people. Generational talent, man. Trey Young. Worst teammate for Trey Young.
Starting point is 00:13:49 Dejante Murray. Easily. Easily Deshati Murray. I can't believe that. They did that. Or is that J. Johnson because he got so good it got Tray Young shit the fuck out of town. Nah.
Starting point is 00:13:59 No, not Jalen Johnson. Jalen Johnson directly led to Tray Young being a Washington wizard. No, Desonte Murray really did that. You're right. You're right. Dezante really did that. He really started the downfall. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:09 He was the first domino. Jaylon Johnson is just going upstairs to the GM's office every day. Like, listen, man. Is he going yet? I'm not here hooping. He's not. Yeah. Best teammate.
Starting point is 00:14:20 I don't know fucking Klinkepella, I guess. I mean, honestly, he was the second best per on that. It's Clinkapel run. You can say Clint. It's easy. Here and there. Clint was so dominant defense. He said like no chemistry with anybody else ever.
Starting point is 00:14:33 It's easily Clint. Yeah. You could say John Collins for two seconds. He has no other good connections. He has got back to that 2021 run. John Collins? Where are his best teammates at? Kevin Herder?
Starting point is 00:14:45 Nowhere. John Collins? Pergatory. Again, purgatory. Danilla Gallagallonari retired. Cluncapella, he's running on Houston's bench. Pergatory. Like, there's no one there.
Starting point is 00:14:54 Cam Reddish. He's in Europe. Shit. Like his teammates are just ass, honestly, Bess, no answer for that. Josh Hart, best and worst teammates.
Starting point is 00:15:04 I mean, best is Jalen Brunson. I don't know. That's Brody. In some ways, is it worst? What? Why?
Starting point is 00:15:13 We have video evidence. Josh Hart. Commend a crime to Jalen Brunson. I think this is honestly in one of the rare occasions where he's both. Jeline Brunson is. Both.
Starting point is 00:15:25 Jaynebrens and their best friends. Awesome. Revolver revitalizes career in New York also led to a crazy video that will never be forgotten. Yeah. I can't speak. Now is it Jalen Brunce's fault?
Starting point is 00:15:37 No, he didn't do anything. Literally, he's a victim. You got a chart. Yeah. This guy got problems, man. You're walking around. This guy got issues. It's just open.
Starting point is 00:15:50 Like you said, so I'm not going to poke. Hide it then. Like, what? Like, what? This is videos where it's like the creepy all talking to his coworkers at a restaurant. Josh, all right? You keep walking around. It's a Drewski skin of that right there.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Jaylor keeps walking around with all that motion. Oh, no. You got to get poked. Oh, my God. Why do you do that? Yeah, J.B. You're still the worst, man. Jay B's a victim for sure.
Starting point is 00:16:30 This dude's a nasty, man. Crazy, man. My God. This camera's everywhere, bro, like, all right now. Psycho, bro. It's so threatened, too. Those videos are hilarious.
