Donovan, is this the year that Jalen Green finally breaks out?
Stop.
Let's stop this right now.
Mo, is this the year where Zach Eric She finally breaks out on a new team?
He's not on my team anymore, bro.
Now is it the year that he still breaks out?
No.
What does breakout me for Zacharyush?
You tell me in about 20 minutes when we get to that topic,
because as you guys see, but a title, we're here today to pick the breakout NBA players of 2026, 2027 season.
We're going to do this a little bit differently than we did last year.
Last year we did it as a group, we decided via different categories of breakouts, which players we think are going to become legends this year, which are going to become All-Stars this year, which will just be playable this year. This year we can do this draft. All three of us will be drafting seven players of whoever we choose. And when we draft these players, we have to decide which former breakout we think they'll take. Either a top 10 player leap, an all-star leap, an elite role player leap, or a rotation player leap, a guy that goes from terrible to being able to be part of a decent team.
That's my favorite tier right there.
I bet it will be.
And because of that,
we built in some assurances
so we can't spam those.
It must be getting the most points on the board
because of that.
If you pick a player
that's going to be a top 10 player,
you get three points.
If you pick a player
that's going to be an all-star,
you get two points.
If you pick a player,
they'll be an elite role player
one,
and serviceable player
that can play in a rotation,
0.5 points.
At the end of the year,
we're going to look back at our list,
see who gather the most points
by taking the bets
on the biggest type of leaps,
getting them right,
and they will win.
The loser will have to do
a task of our choice.
On house call,
we decided the loser
when we did this
is going to have to
eat a bunch of hot dogs
on camera
as they can in 10 minutes.
Wait,
it's 10 minutes?
My bad,
five minutes.
Whatever the number is.
10 minutes.
Nuts.
That is fucking torture.
Like your whole days
ruined after that.
What do we want to do
for this one?
For the person who
gets a least amount of points
come in the season?
10 minutes.
Fuck.
No.
No.
Five minutes on house called
10 minutes here.
No.
We already did hot dogs
for your house called.
Double down.
on the dogs.
You can't just do a bunch of hot dogs.
Let them,
let them decide,
you just want to eat hot dogs.
That's, that's,
that's,
that's, first of all,
I'm trying to win.
You all got a gift
for him on my car.
I forgot completely about it.
Fuck, man.
I'm gonna give it to us the show.
Sorry,
take that time you can give it to him.
All right,
bad, but let's do that.
Maybe you lose your has to do
one chip challenge?
I'm not doing that.
I'm not doing that.
He doesn't want to do anything now.
He just wants hot dogs.
That should be,
honestly,
show punishment should just be
hot talking.
That can do the house
couple of things for everything.
We need something different.
So you guys.
Help us decide, please.
We'll decide what the loser has to do.
We'll decide it on Monday's episodes.
You guys can comment and we'll have it decided by then
because we can't just wait six months
and then retroactively be like,
you got to do a bunch of push-ups.
That would suck.
Maybe we can do that.
Loser has do as many pushes as it can
on camera for five minutes.
Vienna sausage eating contest.
Gross.
Exactly.
Exactly.
I'm not going to lie.
There's no way in hell of me
to Vienna sausage on.
camera. It's not happening.
I would eat three of one-ship challenges before I do that.
I used to eat them a lot.
Yeah, not too much, man.
Yeah.
He's got it right now in the camera.
Too much of the mortgage, man.
That's not the regular grocery list.
Let's calm down.
We got to cook a right.
To reach the road.
You see the visit.
We'll decide on Monday what the punishment is.
Yeah, man, let's draft our breakout players for this year.
Do you guess the most right?
Cue the intro music.
We're about to run them
Mixing four
Mixing four
It's all
It's up
Had big man
And peace bucket
Damn
Jesus Christ
Holy
Nuggets
I could cry
Crown eaters
Rejoice
So we're gonna do this
Like any other draft
Except
We will have to agree
On if a player is a valid pick or not
If I say I want to pick
So and so
but they're obviously going to make a leap
already made that leap last year.
You guys can disagree until you can't have them.
We have to reach some sort of consensus
that a player is a valid breakout candidate
for the given category.
But we'll see if we can give people some leeway there.
Maybe won't be too strict,
but also not give any gimmies.
Draft order is Mo, me, Donovan, in the snake.
Mo, who is your best bet
for a breakout player of 2027?
Okay, so I think right now
with the first pick,
I almost never get the first pick on this show, man.
It's diabolical.
I think I will
We rotate you.
You get it one third of the time.
I'm always down.
I think I have the gun for one of the top spots.
I want to say maybe top 10 player MVP lead,
but I think I might be more tame and go for All-Star.
Okay.
I don't know if this is like the craziest, most unforeseen thing,
but I guess specifically for the timeline,
it'll be like interesting.
I think I'm going to Cooper Flag.
Is that valid?
I think we already think he's also at level from end of last year.
so I wonder is that too easy
Like is he do we already
If somebody that didn't make the all-star team last year
But we think they're on that level
But they didn't physically make the team
Are we gonna allow that?
How so and like I know that we have top 10 on here
My question is can we change top 10 to like all MBA
Because because I think I think there's a lot of
Wiggle Room and obviously it's very hard to get into into the top 10
But the difference between Cooper Fly like making an all-star leap this year
And being one of the 15 best players or having one of the 15 best players or having one of the 15 best
I think there is a difference there.
Yeah.
So that's, I think if you want to say that he's going to have an all-MBA caliber season,
I think that's different than saying he's the All-Star.
I agree.
I think All-Star is too easy for Flag, but All-MBA would be reasonable if you want to go that route.
I wrote Top 10 because I think making 13-M-Ba when 65 game rule happens, like the 20th best player makes 13th
all the time.
So I felt like that was too easy and too similar to All-Star.
But when I say top 10, I don't think it has to be concrete.
I think it's like top 10, like, caliber player.
All these, I think is caliber because if somebody plays just a few enough games, they don't
make the all-star team, but we know they're an all-star. I think we can give them that point,
say they succeeded. Same with all, same with like top 10 caliber. If we think they're,
technically we rank them 12, but we think they're as good as nine or whatever, I would allow
that. You guys decide, is all-MBA better or is that I think it might be a little too easy.
Me personally, I think all-MBA is better. I think breaking into top 10 is mad hard,
and there's maybe only one real guy who can break into that. And that's always, and that's
obviously up for debate. Top 10, top 15 is more of like a sliding door that back end and middle
pack is like not easy to break into but still there's several there's way more candidates who
can get into that and i think cooper flag is one of the few names jel and durran made all mbara last
year i knew this is a jilland burrne asked conversation if you get three points for jail and durran
make it all but obviously it's a different level of breakout for some like cupri flag meaning like
i think he's in the stamp he's going to stamp himself as one of the best players in the league one of
the 12 to 13 best players in the NBA next year i've i've been on this way for a minute i think
what towards the last i don't know 18 or 20 games of the
regular season, if you guys are going to give it to me,
dude average like 25, 7 and 5.
He just was a completely different player
compared to how he walked into the NBA initially.
So do you want to make it say top 15 player?
Top 15 player.
But not all NBA because like Jayland Duren is not top 15 player.
Yeah.
Okay, you can change the phrasing on that to top 15 player.
Yep.
Do you want to let him have Cooper flag for that?
Top 50 is a big leap.
That's not obvious.
It is.
It is.
And if you want to go there, I'm cool with that.
I'm going Cooper Flag.
Cooper Flag.
Top 15 player is the first bet for you in your first draft piece.
What did you see the end of last?
year that makes you so confident cooper flag is going to be that uh i think the decisiveness and how much
easier the game felt to me just he just got a lot better reading the game obviously his time goes on
you're going to get better at anything he got a heck of a lot better and he literally became one of
the best scores in the entire league specifically in the transition how we got to his points in the
mid-range uh seeing how he's developed his handle to be more confident to be more confident in it
that stuff specifically the room scoring there obviously i think that is going to take another
leap considering how much easier the game is about to get for him now that someone like
Kyrie Irving is going to be on his scene.
Yeah, I just, I'll be shocked if he's not.
One, obviously a better defender than was last year as a rookie.
Pretty much everybody is, right?
We saw him start to really, really make strides as a slasher as a second half of the year
went on, no longer being the point guard in these goofy-ass lineups that him running,
playing a forward's position.
He already showed flashes of being dominant getting to the rim.
I would really be shocked if that part doesn't immediately translate and get him to
all-star level.
Hopefully, the three-point shooting is what we thought would be.
as a prospect and isn't so bad.
I do kind of, I feel like I can explain that away with the rookie situation he's in,
being surrounded by not a lot of playmakers, taking a low shock quality,
plus being a rookie himself, getting used to the windows, you have to get a jump shot off.
I'll be shocked if he's not a minimum an All-Star next year.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's certainly the expectation for me personally.
You have to be an All-Star bare minimum, but I'm really going to for like top 15,
top 16 player, whatever it is.
Do you think would you be shocked if he gets top 15?
I don't think it's a given, though.
I don't think he's automatically going to get this.
No, it's definitely not a given.
Yeah, I wouldn't, I wouldn't be shocked, though, if he got to top 15, just because there were times last year, and we talked about it, especially in our December episode when we're talking about the top 40 players where he's three months into his, not even three, yeah, he's three months into his career.
And we're like, it's just one of the 40 best players in the, in the NBA.
And that's with half of that time being thrown away because of the point guard situation at the beginning of the year.
So the stretch that he went on after that where he was scoring, you know, 30 every single night.
And we're really seeing the, we're really seeing the full extent of his bag and the stuff that really propelled him to be the rookie of the year.
I think him building on that and getting to top 15 is very, it's very reasonable.
And it's something that I do expect of him.
How do we think, we know what we expect from him and his trajectory?
obviously we hope Derek Lively's healthy.
They have a group of forwards around him that can facilitate offensively and defensively,
him being in a good spot for him.
I think the upper ceiling of what he can be probably comes down to what Kyrie can bring.
Coming off his ACLD H35, if that's a real threat next time, a real creator that alleviates
the pressure from Cooper Flagg, he doesn't got to run all the high picking rolls.
He has a release valve that you can't just double team off the wings because the ball will find
its way to Kyrie to make a play.
That's the type of thing I think is necessary for him to make a top 15 leap.
if Kyrie either gets traded, isn't the same, isn't healthy.
He's going to be dealing with some lineups of bullshit of creative.
It gets spooky if that happens, bro.
I'm cashing in on Kyrie not being traded at all.
That is very frightening to me.
Yeah, last year, 21 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.2 steals.
Very good boxboard numbers.
Only 54.8 true shooting for the entire season.
It's better over the second half of the season for sure.
Yes.
Can you bring up the second half of the season stats like the last 20 games or something like that?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Much, much, much better for sure.
But I do think to get that consistently, we'll need Kyrie to be like a very good offensive second option for him.
The last 20 games right here.
22.8, seven rebounds, 5.4 assists, play makings up.
Again, 2.3 stocks a game.
The defense is going to be there.
Yeah.
And I think that Kyrie has been perfectly equipped to be in this role for the last four or five years of his career, especially coming over and playing with KD and then playing with Luca.
And then now you have another forward that really does.
compliment kairu's game i think i think everything lines up for the maps to have a really good season
and for both of them to or for the maps to take a leap and for cooper flag to take a leap okay
shout out you getting the great white hope to start this draft very good pick uh is awesome rich
good for me to say all-star do we already think he's at that level last year can i not have that
um i mean obviously me personally i think he's already been at that level i think you can have it
because it's not as clear and he's not a lock to be an all-star next year either but i think
that's more so about how good the Lakers will be rather than if he's good enough to be an
All-Star.
I believe in my mind he'll be a lock to be an All-Star.
I know that's not consensus, like you said.
If people did their predictions right now, I'm not sure everybody will have him on there.
And some people say he's overrated, playoff dropper, yada, yada, yada.
I would like to pick him to be All-Star.
But if you want to tell me, I routinely last year said, I think he would have made it if he
didn't get hurt.
I treat that as like, I think he for sure would have made it.
I guess it's not for sure.
I've always treated that way.
So I'm wondering if you all feel like that's a certainty.
I mean, yeah, it's kind of hard because every time that we do the shooting guard rankings,
like we always have Austin Reeves as one of, you know, like the five best shooting guards,
especially over the last two years.
Like he's really solidified himself at the top of that position.
So I don't know if.
I think, okay.
So like, do you think that the beginning of last year was not fraudulent, but do you think that was above,
that he was playing above like his dees?
Nah.
I don't think so.
I think we've seen all this upcoming since the last few years that he's been playing basketball
has time has gone on and how many responsibilities it's been like placed on his shoulders
through like the again like revolving door with just talent going around.
There's one thing that's constant and it's Austin Reeves getting better as a driver.
It's Austin Reeves getting better as a facilitator.
It's Austin Reeves finding out new ways to manipulate the game and get to the free throw line more.
I think he's like just coming in, he's been coming into himself a lot more.
as the opportunity has grown.
And so far, like he hasn't had, of course,
he's always playing with LeBron or Luca, whatever.
But when one of those two guys are out,
which one of those guys are out indefinitely in LeBron,
the numbers are there and the opportunities there.
I think he's, this is not Fugazi.
This is just who he is.
So the question would be, do is, if he makes the All-Star team this year,
is that a leap?
Yeah.
Because that means he got healthy.
And also he built on what he started last year,
just being more consistent at it.
That's tough.
I mean, so you had him as the fourth best shooting guard.
You had him as the fourth best shooting guard.
We know how we feel.
Yeah.
Who was ahead of him?
You had you had Aunt Jalen Brown, D. Mitch.
And then you had Aunt D. Mitch, Stefan Castle.
I wish Devin Booker was classified as a fucking shooting guard.
I think I did it twice in this offseason ranking or whatever.
But so he's better than Tevin Booker.
And he was like, to me, that was a pivotal moment on my way.
When it comes to thinking about Austin Reeves and his deviant.
and his developmental arc.
You think that, so like...
A lot of people don't agree with that, though.
I think you think he's been Devin Booker.
I think it's close.
I think it's not insane to say that.
I think the responsibility Devin Booker bears,
most people won't agree with that sentiment, you know?
So I think I would say he's reached Devin Boker talks.
I can't definitively say he's bad Devin Booker
because Devin Bucker has so much responsibility.
But if he has a year where that starts to be like a real conversation
or it starts to be consensus that he is better than Devin Boker,
obviously that's more about just like perception.
Yeah.
But also having a start to finish year where he is doing all of these things.
I think that is something that could be qualified as like a leap.
I'll let you have it.
I think we could be fairly lenient with break-hag guys.
I don't think you have to.
I think y'all, y'all can be honest.
I think I already think he's this level.
To me, it's staying healthy and proving it to the masses.
So, yeah, this is a conversation about perception.
Like, I'll be on.
Last year, I think he was All-Star caliber.
I think he was better than some guys I made All-Star.
Health is part of it.
You have to just earn that right and make it stamped.
If that's what it's going to be, it is a perception talking at the end of the day, though.
I think I think the leap for Reeves would probably be closer to that other one where it's like are you getting closer to like the all NBA?
Yeah and I don't want to do that.
That's a lot.
And I'm not doing that.
So that's why I'm not doing that.
That's why I can see being on the line if you don't want to give it to me or not because I'm not going to go all NBA.
That's a bit.
That's a bit rich for Austin Reeves.
Yeah, that's a lot.
I think it could be 13 all NBA, but I'm not going to use my first pick on that.
He's definitely like all NBA caliber 13 for sure.
In the right situation.
Yeah.
That's 13th, all NBA is such a team oriented thing.
Like it's like a lot of times.
second best player on a great team.
Yeah.
Or best player on a bad team.
But my pick would be Reeves,
All-Star Leap, if you allow that.
But I get it if you don't.
You got it.
Okay.
Austin Reeves All-Star Leap.
I'm actually quite surprised you gave that to me.
They gave it not me, gimmick.
I'll take it because I think he's definitely an All-Star luck.
Okay.
It really makes you mad.
He didn't make it last year,
just for perception reasons.
Like, he was, to me, so clearly on All-Star Calibur talks,
but you got to say healthy.
That's part of it.
Yeah.
So we're saying the All-Star
category you have to defend him to make it then right yeah yeah you have to make it i think he sets
a precedent that we can't do like because for him if he once again gets hurt and doesn't make it it's
like oh there you are oh shit yep all right donovan who's your first pick uh man this is glazed
we're gonna go back to lakers i'm gonna take walker kessler for also i was gonna double that
yeah i go i was what you said to what leap to all-star leap oh you think he's been all-star
kessler all-star leap you can have it yeah you can have it
Yeah.
I think I mean, because I think that I'm and as as you guys have seen, I'm pretty high on the Lakers.
Yeah.
And and I'm very high on the idea of Luca playing with a smart big, a smart defensive big in some way that he can elevate.
Smart.
And I simply had that in the past.
He plays it in the right way.
Exactly.
He's very, very good.
First one in, last one out.
He's literally sneaky athletic.
Exactly.
But I think that even without a crazy, crazy jump shot,
I think Walker Kessler is going to have the best year of his career.
I think that he's going to get some of the easiest buckets that he's ever gotten.
I think that the perception of him also is going to help into this all-star leap
because of the responsibility that he's going to have on the defense event for the Lakers.
and he's going to be looked at as one of the better centers in the league
as one of the better two-way centers in the league.
And if the Lakers can finish at like the three-seed,
and especially if they start off pretty hot,
which especially last year,
you saw the way that also restarted the year.
We all know what Luca can do.
I think there is a world where Kessler takes a big leap forward.
I agree.
Obviously, I have all this stock in the world.
I was very happy with the signing.
People wanted me to be sad to get up too many picks for him.
And I was like, you just can't
fucking convince me to not be happy
that my team got an elite room protector
to pair with a defensively deficient
guard duo.
I think it will be a fantastic addition
that will make them,
I think the three seed,
maybe four seed,
depending on health,
five possible.
But I do think the top five team
in the West.
My only thing is I don't know
if he'll make the All-Star team
because he's going to average like 13 points,
11 rebounds,
two and out blocks.
Like,
it'll be a great player.
So I think that he'll average
more than 13.
Okay.
I think that he can,
I think that he can creep
a little bit towards,
towards like 16.
Now when Big Quentin Grimes needs his 16
Yeah there's a lot of Colson
Needs is 12
I think he
Yeah
Yeah nah
That's a lot
I know I know it's a lot
But I think that I really do believe in
In Kessler and even when he was all on the jazz
I feel like Kessler was trending
Upwards and upwards
And last year again it was only five games
But we're like wow he's really taking a step forward
He's gonna play with the best player that he's ever played with
With the best creator that he's ever played with
And that matters.
Okay.
You know, it's a, it's a big difference going from a team where, especially two years ago,
you're playing with a version of Kianti George that is much different than what he was last year.
And you're playing with the team that at the time were searching left and right for point guards.
And we're trying to find a lead guard of the future.
And they just couldn't do it for a while.
Going from that to Luca Donchitz and Austin Reeves as a playmaker, that's, that's a day and night.
There's like no better situation to possibly imagine.
Yeah.
Literally.
So question is that I have, do you think that there's a world in where the Lakers end up
you think there's a world where the Lakers have two all-stars, but you don't think
it would be Austin Rees.
You think it would rather be Walker Kessler.
Or he thinks it's three all-stars to the Lakers.
Or it's three.
I think that.
Because if it's three all-sars, they're winning in like 70 games.
That'll be insane.
You are high on the Lakers based off the conversations we've had.
I really like the Lakers and I like what they've done.
I like the fact that that Reeves is obviously coming into his own and that for the first time like this is a lucocentric team that isn't that does it have to deal with the outside noise of is LeBron Stain or is he going or like what's the internal politics?
This feels like the first time that the Lakers have been actually aligned on a future.
For the first time in maybe four years, because even in the, even once we get to like
23 and the lake is start making all these deals at the, at the deadline to, to rearrange their
team really since, since the rush transaction, they've been very rocky.
And I feel like their situation has calmed down.
It feels more stable than never. I like what they're doing a lot.
Yeah, I, 100% agree with the sentiment.
It's just as hard to have three L stars.
Yeah.
But I don't, I think you're right in projecting a.
leap.
You know what I did?
I fucked it up
with the Austin
Reach precedent
because now this
means this category
they have to actually
make the All-Star
team.
If we didn't have that
precedent, maybe we could
be like it's just
an All-Star caliber
and I think you'd be right.
But now they need to have three
stars.
Well, it's not a
all-star.
You guys face some politics.
You know,
with injury replacements
and there is the USA
versus world aspect
of it now,
more USA players
get in the world.
It's not impossible.
The Walker Kessler
gets an injury replacement
to get them a third
All-Star.
Yeah.
Not impossible.
They definitely
got to be the three-seat
relatively close to the top two guys.
For sure, for sure.
All right, your turn.
Double back.
Snake draft.
We're going to go elite role player here.
Give me Colomerie Boyles.
You don't think he's already that?
He was a rookie last year.
I think, I think, like, stamped as a, as an elite role player, I think that kind of
leap can get that.
If he's too good, then he's too good.
I ran to him above Jeremy on Green in our power four rankings.
I remember if you all did the same thing.
I think we all had him pretty high.
I kind of think he's already that.
If you say it's a stamp thing, I'm not, I'm not going to
be a dick about it.
You see,
you want to allow it?
Okay,
I,
I,
here's my thing.
I think,
Calumary Bowles is already that and he had this rare rookie thing where
similar to Dylan Harper,
the whole world know that he's going to be good.
He'll obviously like way less scale because
Collinorri Bowles is only made to the first round or whatever.
But in the postseason,
seeing what he did and also Dylan Harper,
which is just like rare cases where rookie is just playing way above expectations.
I think he averaged like 14 points.
in the playoffs so in that first round against the Cleveland Cavaliers gave them real issues to
basically help extend that series for real I don't I don't know if I want to give it but for the
full regular season I don't think he's been given as much flowers as he probably should be
going into next year I think he might be because total is like the nerds no the nerds no he's
yeah I think he's already that personally yeah but again I'm never going to be the only one
that's not risky enough okay okay then that then that's cool elite role player um
Give me Carter Bryant.
Okay, you can for sure have that.
That's a real game.
He didn't show a damn thing yet.
I will.
I think that.
I think it could be good.
But he hasn't shown it enough that it's a confident bet.
So you're going all on potential that he can do this.
I like that.
That's a great pick.
I think that Carter Bryant, in the regular season,
I think that he had some flashes and some moments,
even just outside of just like a game here or a game there where obviously you see
the defense.
You see the physicality.
In the playoffs, he could not play.
That's what I mean.
Yeah.
And the leash was very, very short.
And you saw, but like, you saw a guy who was 19 years old.
And in the first time in his career is making all of these mental mistakes.
But I think throughout the regular season, and even in the early parts of the playoffs,
Carter Bryant clearly has the ability to be a very, very good role player.
And there were parts of last year also where the three ball was falling.
It's not horrendous.
Sometimes when we talk about these really, like, these really athletic forwards,
they're shooting, you know, 28% from, from, from,
29% he's at 33 which again still is below league average but it's something that you can work with
yep and as the as the spurs try to figure out their their rotation especially with with the guards
if they end up playing these like three guard lineups i think card of bryant could be another guy in
there that gives them more size more versatility defensively i think that he is going to break out
on this team and get more minutes and be an elite role player this year nice it's a good bet we all
We all like him as a prospect.
We all, you know what we also like the real crux of this is?
We all like the idea of a big wing defender that plays next to Wemby and all those guards.
Exactly.
The opportunity is there to be taken and nobody has a better opportunity to take that role in that team.
Then Carter Bryant, given his tools and their need for a guy with not just like height.
Because, you know, they play a lot of four guard lineups and it works with Wemby there.
They don't need tall guys necessarily.
They need big stout motherfuckers.
And at 19 years old, he is already strong and has that build.
Exactly.
If he can just shoot league average, I don't even need him to put the ball on the floor yet and be like a truly
dominant two-way wing that can, you know, attack a close-out and stuff, literally just make the
threes and let the defense continue to develop and he can have a serious role in this team.
I agree.
Solid pick.
But again, elite, I think you could have picked playable role playable, like serviceable rotation player and maybe got that off because I think he has some leaps to make.
Elite role player, that's a good bet.
That would be some good points for you if he gets it.
Yeah.
Yeah, I'm only, that's my guy.
I will take my second round pick for elite role player, Alex Saar.
Damn it.
I think the days of him being one of the worst scoring bigs in the league are over.
That's going to be the lead role player playing next to Anthony Davis and Trey Young.
And you know, if you tell me you believe there's just selling higher from making an All-Star,
okay.
I don't know.
I don't know if I believe he has that much juice in him.
But I do think he can be one of the better not All-Stars in the league.
Yeah.
The fact that he's going to go from like the worst shot quality ever being fed by the worst
passers ever for his whole career to Trey Young,
the fact that he's going to go from having to contest the most shots at the rim in the league last year,
100th percentile contest volume and still doing a pretty solid job in his efficiency
preventing teams from being more efficient than their average to play next to Anthony
Davis and having that ability to have the comfort of two elite defenders with you now and really
maximize what you do as a switchable guy as a weak side shot blocker all that it's going to be
nirvana for him so do you think that like his offensive leap is really just going to be like
an efficiency play or do you think or do you think that like the counting stats will also go up
because he's already at like 16 and 7 16 and 8 if he's going up and
he's like a 20 and eight guy,
that's a,
that's a legit guy,
not like an elite role player.
Yeah,
I don't think he can get the 20.
Just,
I mean,
age of the bonds is there.
20 is an all star.
They get to 20.
That means it's like 4,
20 points.
That's not happening.
I don't think that's the case at all.
In fact,
I think he might score a little bit less points
in terms of raw output,
but he had a 54% true shooting last year.
And now it was like 45 the year before,
which was like ridiculously bad for the center.
54 is still dog shit.
So if he can get to 61% true shooting on 14 points per game,
shooting pretty good from 3%.
doing the role player stuff next to those three-star scores while being an amazing defender,
that's an elite role player.
Yeah, I agree.
Before this season, or, yeah, this season has started yet.
But who was, like, the most talented pass that he's played with in Washington?
I don't know.
Think about it.
I don't know.
Jordan Poole?
Jordan Poole passer?
The guy who average, like, two assists for his career.
Yeah.
And Jordan Poole was asked that first year with him.
I don't know, man.
Yeah.
Yeah, I guess it's like Kishon George, like Balakulibati?
It's not Buck Harrington.
Yeah, no, like it's it's been bleak.
So I think there's not up of.
Yeah.
Dude, he shot like 35.
He took like five threes in his five threes per game in his Ricky year.
So like 39% from the field, which is a fucking atroasis for a big, but any player in general.
I think Tray Young is going to change his fucking life.
Absolutely.
And I think you're right.
His efficiency is going to skyrocket that paired with being in a much better defensive system,
aka Anthony Davis's existing, will change his life and will change his life.
and we'll give this team like a pretty solid floor.
So you got that big.
Bro, he's like the fifth offensive threat on the floor now.
He's been the best offensive threat
or second best at a lot of times of these years.
He's the fifth option now.
Yeah.
Like there's not any pressure on him at all.
He already had 2.6 blocks per 75 possessions last year.
Defensively is the main crux's argument.
He is going to be a monster defender, I think.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I do like also, just because AD is AD at this point,
he's also, he's going to have times where he can go back and forth
between being one of the more feature guys when AD is out and having that responsibility
of two-way scoring and falling back into like more of a role player so he'll have the the pops
to show that he is this like elite role player and not have every single night go out and get this
you know 22 yeah like that that is a very nice situation for him to be in and he can play center
at times when anything Davis has hurt and that'll help his scoring numbers being able to
the main pick and roll threat with a trade young but defensively I think he's going to be insane
as a power forward, being a weak side shot blocker
and being able to switch and do all the traditional big power forward stuff.
And if they want to, they can do that for 48 minutes,
or 36 minutes as long as on the court,
because they also have Aiden to be the backup center.
You can play with Anthony Davis for 24 minutes,
Aten for 12 minutes, and just always be a power forward if they so choose.
The versatility he brings to their abilities to play one or two big lineups,
it's just nuts.
Yeah, I agree.
I also hope we never see Aitin and Anthony Davis lineups together.
We're going to see it once.
Actually, we'll see it a lot because Aiding wants to be a four full time.
So, I guess.
I mean, the lines will be blurred
and who's the four
between Alex R and AD.
I guess they'll probably both think they're the four.
Yeah, interesting
trio of bigs there.
I'm kind of excited to watch them.
Okay.
My next pick, we have an MVP leap, right?
No.
Top 15 is the highest.
Top 15 players are the highest.
Do you want MVP leap?
I would have taken one
for bonus points.
We could add that on there.
There's only one player
who has the potential
to do that too in my mind as well.
If you want to add it,
let's do it.
You want to add MVP leave?
Yeah.
What does that mean?
They had to be top three in voting.
They had to be within striking distance of really winning the MVP.
Yeah, that's a finalist.
Like,
yeah, finalists.
Sure.
If they're a fucking fifth and MVP,
they get shouts.
Fifth of them,
you don't mean none to me,
but four is like interesting.
You know what?
Honestly,
if you're just saying like a leap,
I still think top five is five.
I think you guys in bullshit.
There's usually four good candidates.
So,
okay.
And especially with the four guys at the top with Yokic,
Wemby, Shea, and Luca.
And then you have Yonis. Like, if you are
top five on the ballot or top four, I think that's okay.
Usually one or two those guys are under your Giffrey-Gain's plate, though.
So it's usually not, you're facing off against all of them.
We'll feel it out. I think it'll have to be, we really think you're in that talk.
It can't just be a cute, like, when Devin Booker had his name tossed in the convo.
When Jason Tatum had his names tossed in the convo.
I think we'll have to say there was really a point where people believe you could be MVP.
Okay.
So finalist.
Finalist, but if they're fourth by a small margin, we'll give it to him.
We won't be annoying about it.
All right.
All right.
I think this player is valid because he's never made an all-MBA first team in his entire career just yet.
We can all look at this guy and be like, yeah, he's like a surefire, top 10 player.
Everyone would call him that he's probably the best of this position.
And it's Anthony Edwards.
This is the first time in his entire NBA career life where he's able to focus on what he does 100% great at and not try to fill in gaps that the team absolutely needs him to
feeling, even though it's not a strength of his, which is playmaking, of course, facilitating.
You can do those things at, like, a normal level, but asking him to carry offense and, like,
make all these super complex, reads that only, like, the most gifted players in the planet
can never do, like, is crazy.
And now for the first time he's playing with a mellow ball, and he can focus on things like
getting to the rim more, which he did at probably, like, the highest level of his entire
career last year.
He got to the line, like, at seven, eight times a game.
And doing that, I think playing elite level defense again on a consistent base because last year with all the burden that was placed on him, that kind of trailed off a little bit.
I think he's going to be hands down like the best two-way guard in the league considering how much he's going to be tasked with.
I think he's going to average 30.
I think he's going to shoot 40% in three point line.
And I think he's going to be like a top three finalists.
Winning MVP's a lot, of course, because Wembe's there, Luke is there and all that.
But I think everyone's been waiting for the moment where, okay, like Anthony Edwards, you had one of the all-time great shooting guard seasons in history.
We're still waiting for that.
And I think it's here.
Okay.
So that means if he is the top three MVP, you get four points for this list.
The top 15 players, three points and it, you know, cascades down, a four-point swing.
First you did an all-M-BA top 15 leap, then a four-point leap.
You're going for defenses.
Yeah, you're swinging.
I like that.
That's playing the game the right way.
That's not gameifying it.
That's going for the real leaps.
Now.
Couldn't be me.
I'm way too scared of uncertainty to do that.
This could fire back in my face if the Timberwolds just have a cool little like, I don't know, 45, 48 win season, which is very much in the cards.
But I believe in the Anthony Edwards.
And I'm starting to believe in the Timberwolves more and more as time goes on.
I think in our breakout player list last year in which we did together, we put Anthony Edwards in this type of leap.
Didn't happen.
Actually, yeah, we argued about it for a while because I wanted to put him in a, no, no, no, I'm going to get my hand to that.
Yeah, we talked about a lot that last year we expected this type of leap to happen.
I could see Lamello being the difference maker there.
Like we all are very confident in how Lamello can unlock him in a way in which no guard he's ever played with.
Really no player he's ever played with.
Yeah, he has been able to make him better.
Like, yeah, Gobert helps the fact that they can win games because he handles the defense.
Cat space the floor for a slasher.
That's really nice.
He's never played with a player that elevates him and sets him up for easy shots.
And I mean, respect to Mike Connolly and other guys in the system they have, like, to the degree in which we think Lamello can.
Yeah.
He's literally never had that.
before. Yeah, I agree. Shout to Mike Conley, and he's like historically been a good playmaker,
but he's never been one of the five, 15 best playmakers in the NBA ever. And that was Mike Conley
towards the end of his career, bro. So you can imagine where he lies in those rankings.
Lamello ball is a completely different type of a playmaker.
And now is your turn a double back for round three? How much pick Lamello ball?
Ah, man.
Good again, MVP ballot.
Two of them. That's funny. No, I'm not taking the Mellow ball.
I think now I'm going to dial back, dial things back.
And I think I want to do...
Don't pick my guy.
I have one name if you sniping, I'll be pissed.
No, I'm probably not, bro.
I got hell of names on this list.
I think what I'm going to do is...
Is you a demon, like, too good yet?
Fuck!
That was the literal name I didn't want you to do.
Literally, I said that one name.
You should have said it.
You should have been quiet.
What, did that sway you?
No, it didn't at all.
That just manifested it?
Yeah, literally.
Is he too good?
No.
No.
Because he was bad.
He was rookie year.
He's not.
He's not anything.
Too good.
He's too good.
He's too good.
Now, when I say too good, I mean, like, the streets too loud because what he
didn't sound like.
First of all, he's the net.
The streets are out loud at all.
Yeah, I was going to pick him the first round.
If y'all didn't give me Reeves, I was going to pick Joeman to be another role player.
Like, I think that's the best bet on the board.
Yeah, that's what I was literally going to do.
I haven't written down here.
Elite role player leap.
Dude, coming from BYU, he was not a shooter at all to now like knock that part down
of your NBA career year one is fucking crazy.
And to be like, you just can't leave this guy open who will make you pay along with that.
We know him to be a good playmaker.
He's tall, lengthy.
There's other questions around his game where they're about how often you get to the rim
and can his body handle all that contact, yada, yada.
I think he's in a great situation now where he has legitimate players who can actually play productive basketball.
And Julius Randall and Porter Jr., Backel Brown Jr. is there to help with playmaking responsibilities.
The world is his right now.
And he had to glow up.
Now he puts fits on.
Now is a Brooklyn Arho.
He is tough.
He is tough.
Yeah.
Dude, he's a Williamsburg Arho.
You love him, man.
He's a great player.
I'm actually very fucking upset that you took him for me one pick before I plan on taking him.
Getting green Sart,
Jomon would have been a dream for me.
I would have felt so good
about my ability to win this draft
because I think you just picked a lock.
For elite role players specifically,
I think he showed, like you mentioned,
the shooting and the size
and the secondary passing,
that floor of skills
next to new veteran players
coming in is just so good.
That's such a good team building piece
to have a guy who can do those specific things.
You add on to what we saw in the Summer League.
If he can be a good slasher,
he put on a lot of weight.
If he can be a real creative shot for himself guy,
I'm not, like,
maybe he will never be an all-star.
because it's hard to break into.
Yeah.
But if you tell me he's like sub Allstar, like knocking on those doors because the scoring comes
around.
He can average 20 one day.
I'm not horribly shocked.
You can be a Franz Wagner level of player for sure.
That's high.
I like Franz a lot.
But I don't know if you can do it next year, but I think he can hover around that.
I can't write that off.
I can't write that the possibility.
But I do think no matter what he's going to be an elite role player.
Yeah.
I agree.
It's very good.
And this will be the list that a lot of people watching us would be like, who?
Really?
Y'all are that sure?
Yes.
Yes.
I think he's one the most slept on young players in the league.
Actually, the most left on young player in the league pretty easily.
Yeah.
That's what that's what you get when you're a fucking net.
Yeah.
Who cares?
It's quiet as shit, bro.
Nobody cares.
Okay, then I lost my guy and gentlemen.
I think I had to pick a player who is also my guy and that the calmness routine
they yell at me for overrating him because his body is made of sand.
I will take Zach Edy to be another lead role player, which is pretty much a health thing
because I think he's already that good.
It's just will he stay healthy?
And you know what this is?
It's a flip of a coin because I have no clue.
he'll be healthy.
But I believe he's capable of it.
So if they can figure out a way to make him play 60 plus games,
I want to go down and saying,
I believe in Zach Edy.
Okay.
Yeah, you know what it is.
He just needs to play and be healthy.
That's it pretty much.
Yeah.
And the Spurs that he's actually played,
he's been very, very dominant.
And especially now that you have,
you have guys who can get a shot on the perimeter in a,
in a Tidrome who's going to be there,
such a coward,
Cambuzers coming in.
Like, you're not looking to Zach Ety to be this crazy.
crazy,
high level
offensive
initiator
and same time
he's like
7,
75 I think
like he's
he's dominating
the offensive
rebounding that he's
going to provide
it definitely is
going to give a floor
to how productive
he is on a night
tonight basis.
He only got to play
284 minutes
last year
2.7 blocks
per 75 possessions
in Darko DPM
which measures
your ability
to be an impactful
defensive player
when you're on the
court plus
1.4 94th percentile
one of the best
needle movers
on the
defensive side in that short period of time shot 71% at the rim 78% for the
free-throlet line which is a good you know shooting indication 57% from short mid-range
which is very good just a dominant rim protector in that short stretch before we got hurt
last year while putting up 19.1 points for 75 and 5.5 offensive rebounds for 75 she's just
gonna be a monster on the interior as you to hope and expect with that size it's just
will that body hold up we literally have no way to know but history says maybe not okay
I like to speak it makes sense I feel like until he does
it, you're going to pick Zach Eadie every year.
Probably.
I know.
Probably.
Dude, let me see.
Let me get one full season of magic.
Then your body can break down.
But let me see it.
Let me see the dream conferseration one time.
Okay.
Also, we're not allowing rookies on here, right?
No.
Rookies is crazy.
I thought maybe there's a world.
Like, I think boozer is better than expectations.
And I think he can break out.
But like, break out probably means.
Yeah, that means, yeah, he has nothing on the table yet.
So, that's not fair.
I feel like we've been swinging for the fences,
trying to get some, some big.
names on the board. I'm gonna try to hit some singles here. Okay. Go for a point-five point. Yep.
Servisable rotation player. Joe and Berger, welcome to the team. Okay. Welcome to the team. That is
definitely a single because you'll be a backup center that plays minutes. So you have to suck ass to not be a
rotation player. And he will, but I do think that he will be impactful in in his role. Okay.
and being behind
and being behind Gobert
and playing with
with Lamello
and having the athleticism
that he has
I think his play finishing
would take a step forward
he is impactful
as a shot block
whenever he's on the floor
doesn't play a lot obviously
but he will do that
this year now that
the wolves have moved on
from Julius Randall
and Nas Reid
and you are now looking
for big bodies
to be in that lineup
he
I mean he played
he played
it's 7.9 minutes last
season. That will go up.
He will be impactful.
He's on my team. Okay.
Shout out, Barron Jay. Are we saying
that right? Is it Barangetet?
I have no idea.
Is it Joan or Joanne? How do you say it?
Yon.
Yon.
Yon. Okay, Yohan. Barron Jay.
Yeah. Okay. Yon Barron Jai. Yeah.
Okay, Yon Barron J. Yeah. 2.9 blocks
for 75. He's clearly going to be
an athletic shot blocker. The question will be,
can the rest of the stuff come together? Will he have the play
strength to be able to really bang around on the boards,
will you have the defensive IQ to be a good drop big
that doesn't just block shots, all that typical
stuff that decides if you're going to be
Mo Bamba or Rudy Goberr, we'll see where that goes
in this year. But he doesn't get the opportunity
to be that guy to continue the same style of play
when McGoberers on the bench and kind of
catch some consistency. They've really
never had that. Here's your time.
Okay. You know, Rudy Gobar is only getting older. If I'm the
timber bulls, I definitely don't want to keep... His body's
like incredibly strong. He takes care of his body. He's a
health freak in that way. He's a
never shown us he's not going to stay healthy.
I wouldn't want to keep testing that when you're so
reliant on him. Yeah. So if I can make him play
30 minutes a game, 29, because
Berenjay is ready to play some big minutes, that would be a smart
investment of time. You said rotation player, right?
Yeah. Yes.
It's a good shade of purple.
Random thought.
Another single.
They're going to point five points, by the way.
I got to do it. I don't think.
I don't think of the easy ones. I feel you.
Yeah. And I think this guy is going to be more
of a just very good rotational player,
but elite role player seems a little bit too high.
But maybe we can get there.
Ugo Gonzalez.
That's good.
Okay.
It was good.
Just for rotational players.
You don't think he's already that.
He played,
he was unplayable in the playoffs.
And so that's the only reason why I had him at rotation.
So does that qualify?
I mean, he has to be good in the playoffs.
I think in the regular season,
he was a good rotation player.
Yeah, it was fine.
I mean,
yeah, it was fine.
I think he has to be viewed as one of the core,
like, top eight guys for sure.
And I wouldn't necessarily like pencilman as that on a consistent basis last year.
Oh, so that's a good way to phrase it.
That rotation player just could be like you exist.
Do you want to say like, do you want to rephrase that?
It isn't got to literally mean this.
Do you want to rephrase that to like six man?
Like, like how to, you know what I mean?
Like one of the top three on the bench?
You have to, yeah, you have to be eligible for six men of the year.
Because like he played 15 minutes a game last year.
He can get up to, he's going to average more than 20 minutes a game.
Okay.
So do you want me to call it like good six?
six man.
Sure.
And if it's,
you know,
if there's two good
bench players or
seventh man,
whatever, but like,
your best bench
player on your team
type of guy?
Yeah.
Okay,
that's a better way
to phrase it probably
because rotation player,
I can say anybody
the rotation player.
Yeah.
Okay, good six man
for that category.
Yeah,
but I just think his,
one,
the Celtics view him
as untouchable.
Yeah.
And they are
clearly very invested
in him,
but to play
this Missoula style
of basketball
to be very heavy
on possession
maxing and
three-point shooting
you do need some form of wing defense and energy,
and he brings both of those at a, like, crazy, crazy high level.
And also, now that you have Paul George there,
Paul George is going to miss games,
and you will need somebody to step up and start guarding the other teams,
you know, be the number one option, number two option on the wing.
Hugo Gonzalez is going to get that matchup for some times.
And I think that he has some of the strengths to thrive in that role.
Be soles.
Is he go the one?
Um, is he the one?
I don't know.
I'm actually higher on like Ron Harper Jr. and Baylor Shimon.
But Brad made the bet on Hugo, allegedly.
So you better show up.
What do you mean allegedly?
I don't know.
I mean, it's never actually come out of his mouth that like.
Oh, the honest thing.
Yeah, the honest thing.
But, you know, I'm going off of reports.
Yeah.
A lot of Southwis fans truly believe he can be a star,
which is obviously just like Boston media is ridiculous.
Yeah.
But like, to me, the reasonable way to parse that is I think he can be an elite role player or whatever, like one of the, the, like, core starters.
Can he be our McHale Bridges one day?
That's lofty.
I don't know that I've seen that.
But maybe I just haven't watched him as close as these Boston Maniacs have that I think he's literally going to be an all-star.
They were convinced he was going to be Derek White like last year.
Yeah, exactly.
It's precisely what I mean.
Like, that's his upper player Michael.
And that's, yeah, that's a bit much.
Yeah.
But, like, he played, he played four point eight minutes in the, in the playoffs.
average no points
no points
you put up a big zero
average no points
one rebound point five versus
like he's
he will be somebody where
like Missoula is not going to
completely abandon him
in the rotation the same way that he did last year
and he will be going back to him
once they get into the
the playoffs and he will be a cool part of their rotation
I hope so because I don't know why he's still
that was crazy that the way
Missoula handled the playoffs
and
Just completely abandoning the bench and all those guys.
And then Game 7 comes around.
He's like, yeah.
Hopper Jr. start.
Every spot.
That was wild.
I don't think that's going to be the situation this year.
And I don't think that you go is going to give them a reason to go away from him that early.
Yeah.
Okay.
There's a lot of ways to go now with my next pick.
I'm kind of just looking around a bunch of elite role players.
I might just fill my team with one All-Star and a bunch of elite role players.
Because I like a lot of the elite role player leaps this year.
And I don't see a lot of first-time All-Player players.
being on the board.
Same.
There's a couple.
I don't think this guy
has already reached that level whatsoever.
If you guys think it's too obvious,
I guess you can disqualify this one,
but I think at a necessity,
this guy better become this.
BJ Edgecombe, elite role player?
I don't know.
It's an easy bet because of like the team circumstance
and it's a high pick.
So if you tell me it's too easy of a bet,
I get it.
When I say Lee role player,
I mean like elite role player.
Like, Michael Bridges, Derek White.
Well, Derek White's a weird convicts.
Because people put him better in stars.
but you know what I mean.
Herb Jones,
Mikhail Bridges,
Jada McDaniels,
elite role players.
Is VJ obviously going to be that?
I think so.
Okay.
Last year you averaged 16,
shot really well from 3.35%.
He was fucking killing the Celtics
last year in the first round.
I don't know if that,
that might be like your first not,
not a fair one.
So I see.
So I disagree.
I think I would allow VJ
only because if they were running back the same team,
Yes, exactly.
But the fact that Jaylon Brown and Brown are there now, now you're looking around and he's just like, all right, where do I fit in?
And if he can fit in and thrives in that role, then I do think that it shows that he's ready for, you know, or that he's that he's that versatile.
Yeah, because he ever 16 last year being like the second guard a lot of those times, like the second score on the team.
Now is the opposite.
Now it's like you're going to probably get less shots.
And you've got to be a good defender, a good rotating rim protector even for a guard.
You got to be to pass the ball, spot up from three, keep a rhythm without.
having his main touches, running transition.
Like, he has to be an entirely different type of player than he was on the trajectory
to be before.
Yeah, he took 14 shots a game last year.
That's not happening.
No, you're taking a smooth nine, buddy.
Yeah.
It's, it's going to be super different.
Yeah, and I actually think this is not a great bet just because I can, again, if this
team was the same last year, I think he would be a locked family role player.
If I'm imagining the scenarios, the team could go, if you tell me that VJ struggles
because he's out of rhythm and he's the one that struggles, not that it's an ego thing.
It's not that he doesn't want to be the fifth option, but it's not that.
it's like hard to adjust to that.
I won't be shocked whatsoever.
But I think he's so talented that I'm still going to bet on the talent if we allow it.
You want to give it to him?
Yeah.
Yeah, I think the situation is weird enough to where if Vijay does come out and he does thrive,
then it shows it's a very big knot for Vijay if he thrives this year.
Okay.
Yeah, many, many a young players playing next to stars are supposed to be like,
oh, it's going to be so crazy.
And that guy struggles to figure it out how to fit together.
Yeah, they've been talking, yeah, they've been talking about.
Maxian VJ is like the back corner of the future.
I remember Jalen Brown on that team with Gordon Hayward,
Kairier, being Elhorn for Jason Tatum.
It's not always easy.
True.
To instantly get deep prioritize like that is tough.
Yeah.
Okay, that's true.
And then again, I'm clearly betting he can do it.
I think he has a mental makeup to be there.
I think it'll all,
I think it'll literally be a skill thing too.
Like, are you able to do that small stuff as a year two player?
Like, I think a lot of fans would probably think it's like easier to do less all the
time.
I think for veterans probably, for young players that are already trying to come into
themselves and develop their skills to get used to things.
I think rhythm and touch is a huge thing.
So to immediately take less, like, it's not a given at all that it works out for him.
Okay, fair.
Someone who's in the complete opposite position and someone who will have all the opportunity in the world to have a lot of rhythm and touch.
Because he's no longer playing championship basketball, just good, decent, random Wednesday night basketball in Atlanta taking Aaron Wiggins.
I think I'm taking him for elite role player too.
Oh, okay.
He's someone who we all know he's been like, he's a good, he's a good one.
good basketball player. There's a reason why
O'KC's featured him in
regularly in their regular season
rotational lineups. In the playoffs,
we don't see him that much because there's
things within his game as a defender or the
inconsistencies with his three-point shot
that just make him
not playable because they don't have time for
fuck shit. Atlanta, we got time for fuck shit,
right? That's all we. Yeah, yeah, we do,
bro. We have room.
They make time.
Fair. Yeah, we got room for guys to
fuck up, bro. Don't forget.
Atlanta is the only team of NBA history, I think, to have, like, back-to-back, most important, most improved player of the year awards, whether through, who was it?
Nikolajana Walker in the year before that, Dyson Daniels.
I think Aaron Wiggins will be featured in those conversations, not necessarily sure he will win it, but I can see him averaging like a cool, like 15 a game shooting like.
15?
Yeah, I think it's like, because he's that he's that important.
We don't have as many, like, still we don't have that many guys who has his skill set.
The second, really he might be like the off of pure ability and skill right now as we speak.
The second best like on ball creator for himself as a score.
After CJ?
After CJ, yeah.
CJ is obviously the best.
Nick Alexander, yeah, he averaged 20.
But like when it comes to raw skills and what you have in your bag, I still think Aaron Wiggins is like the better creator of the two.
But I think he's going to be important because of how we're still waiting for John Jones to develop as a isolation score specifically in the half court.
Kingston Fleming's is a rookie.
CJ is going to do normal CJ things or whatever.
And Nikol Alexander Walker, like, I don't know how much higher things can get
or if there will be room for him to continuously elevate to a 25 pre-dames score.
No one's saying that.
No one wants that from him at all.
I think this is a perfect season for someone like Airwigs to literally be free of all the high expectations.
You don't have to win championships, go out and be the best version of you.
Every 15, be in MIP convos.
I think you can do that.
That's a tall task.
when all those players that were already named
MIP convos are still there.
Yeah.
Have another one that much usage available.
Guess that that one's tough for me to get behind.
You want him to be your carousal overt.
He could do something like that.
Yeah, that's what you wanted to be.
Okay.
Yeah, he can do something like that for sure.
Yeah.
With the right, you know, with the right
some certain players miss games here and there,
he starts for a couple weeks,
gets the higher minutes up for a couple weeks
and boost his numbers.
15's not impossible.
Yeah.
That impossible.
Then you do 15, 14, 14 points for game.
And I think, for me, at least,
I'll call him like, yeah, you're one of the better role players in the league.
When we say, okay, yeah, so that's the phrase, like, one of the better role players in the league, like,
best, like, you have to be like an elite starter.
Like, you're, you can be off the bench.
Like, it's not so rigid, but, like, you have to be the quality of an elite starter.
Like, when Atlanta, when I envision the Atlanta Hawks, like, closing games with their best five man unit, you have to be part of that.
Okay.
And I can imagine a world where, like, yo, CJ's just, like, fucking up tonight.
And we got to, we got to put Aaron Wiggins in that lineup right next to all over other guys.
Okay.
Yeah.
I don't know if I think he's good enough, just talent-wise.
Yeah, I think he is.
It's just hard when you're playing with Shea and you're expected to, like, do very singular things.
And there's not enough room for error at all.
That's fair.
Like, he, we've seen, I've seen them last year in a playoffs, I believe, just like, dismiss a couple threes, wide open threes or whatever.
And that's all they're expecting you to do.
And Jared McCain has to shoulder so much load.
Jared McCain is a smaller guy, but he's, weirdly enough, a better defender.
It was hard for Aaron Wiggins.
It was hard.
Yeah.
Oh, I just lost my train thought.
Right, I was an ask.
Anyways, who's your next pick?
Next pick, I'm going for these 0.5s.
Someone who can just be a rotational player.
I hope one of us wins because of 0.5.
Yeah.
That would be glorious.
I got to pick one just to do it.
There will be nothing more glorious than Brony James taking
Colin Sexton's position, bro.
There would be nothing more glorious than seeing Bronny James catch alutes from Luke
Donchage, bro.
I think looking at this roster,
and seeing what they needed,
which is, of course, like, primary defense and all that, yada, yada, yada.
I would rather bet that
Bronny James is able to hit wide open threes
and still, like, be the same level of defender
than some, like, Con, Sex, or whoever else you want to throw in there,
become, like, a defender who's not going to absolutely cook you
when you have Luca Ross and Reeves on your team.
Pick him briselares.
There will be no, it would be an amazing story to see him just,
once as soon as his dad is gone, look,
I can imagine all the nasty ass headlines.
LeBron James holding LeBron James back, man
I gotta clarify who this pick is man
I can't just put James
Bromney
As soon as he starts going crazy
Has the first good game
Hey LeBron
We're good
We got LeBron
Facts bro
Facts bro
Fax bro
But this is my first flyer
I would love for him to be
Great sixth man
All right
Good sixth man
Rotational player
No we should have a good six man
No man
You just threw two picks away I think
but I love the confidence you have
and I hope you're right.
No, Ben.
I hope you're right.
He's gonna be playable,
bro.
This is my point five pick.
You heard us.
We changed it to be a good six man.
A good six man.
Yeah,
we were talking about it.
You gotta be.
We might have to read us on that.
We're not changing again, bro.
You gotta be a good bench player.
You're just a good player.
Okay,
he's gonna be a good bench player.
Now,
if it's your seventh man
because you have two bench players,
that's cool.
But you have to be like six man quality.
Yeah.
I think.
Good luck.
I hope you're right so much.
Sixth Man quality is nuts.
Not six man of the year, but like you can be the team's first or second best bench player.
Yeah, I think he has definitely room to be like the second, well, at least I hope, like,
eighth best player on this team, bro.
He's got again.
The second eighth best player?
Yeah.
That's what I'm hoping for right now.
You know, I'm going to double back and I'm going to shit on your pick because I'm going to take a do zero for a point five pick to be a good six.
All right, man.
I think there's a world where he might start and overshoot this, which I think that makes a
count. I think he can be
I have a lot of faith in the Lakers
group of wings. I hope they start Zaire
Williams and Quinn Grimes.
And I feel good about the two-way talent of
Quinn Grimes and Zaire to be a good athletic defender.
That's the plan I hope they go
with. Tell me that plan goes up
and smoke because the dude thiero is ready to be a
crazy athlete running up and down, defending well,
being a lot threat, running in transition,
and he can be the fit starter or best
wing off the bench. I'm hoping
that's the case. Nope. See him playing in Summer League
and he plays like a rhino. Nope. He's not
He plays insane, but Jay Reg's talking about that since Summer League.
He hasn't had a single time to develop in his whole career.
He plays like a red nose.
Yeah, a little charged.
That's gross.
He's African, it's a little charged.
When he got drafted, he was hurt immediately.
So the whole offseason after he was drafted in the first Summer League,
he was hurt and couldn't really do any type of his skill improvement.
Enter his rookie season, he's hurt.
Really has no opportunity to develop for real.
J.J. Rigg said this two months since Summer League ended to now
is the first time he's been able to be in the lab in the Lakers,
facilities actually developing and he's seen a big difference stands to reason to me that that would
be the case and he's not just yapping. It is probably just coach speak to some extent. But I do think
it's very real with a raw player like him that is all tools, no development yet. You need time
to make that and bring that together. I think we can look up by the end of the year and he's one of
their better wings. Okay. Or no, this is, I'm hoping we look up and he's one of their better
wings. This is a pure hope pick for real. Because it's a complete black box. It could be a beautiful
young role player or a second round pick that becomes nothing. I have no way of knowing for
real. I'm just hoping it's the good one.
That's a TD Viro in your territory, bro.
Bronny James was a dude there. I'm tuning in every
single night. I swear to God
I am. I swear to God, bro.
We're gonna have a rivalry which
10th man becomes the 7th man.
No, literally.
Second 8th man.
I'm gonna be bugging for my points, bro. I swear I am.
It's 0.5.
So really only one of us can be right.
I know. Actually, no. If this is there are two
bench players, we can both be right.
they're both the eighth man
This is sixth and seventh man
If this is their highest minute bench players
We can both be right
But good luck because they have Colin Sexton
They have Matisse Stibbles on that team
We're kind of screwed
We do have two guys ahead of him
Who's just up and down better right now
Nice as fuck
I know
Yeah we're screwed
Listen man
Barney average 2.9 points per game last year
He's making the lead man
He's got to average like seven
Seven's my hard
He can do that man
It's three times of points
I do average one point a game
I do didn't play
Like a dude was a non-factor
He didn't play
I dare to put one more
Laker on here
Nah
There's too many Lakers on this
You're right
You can't
It's actually nasty
Bro
It's actually
Glaze fest over here
No you're right
Man
God damn
To be fair
It's a whole new team
With a lot of paths
For people to take any roles
It's the most new team
In the league
It kind of does make sense
Yeah
I put mama on here
Donnie
Let's keep it going
Oh that'd be a good pick
Hey
Oh fuck
That's the real six man
I forgot all Mamu.
Oh, we're fucked.
We're not getting these points.
They're going to pass Momu.
Does Momu count?
Yeah.
He's their six man probably.
As an elite role player?
Yeah.
Oh, bro.
She was good last year, though, man.
Oh, no, no, yeah.
I don't think you pick Mom to be a good role player.
That's why he got paid.
He was 10th and six men in the year voting last year.
That's actually, like, pretty surprising.
He's, like, been noticed in my mind as one of the better role players.
Yeah, I'm not saying we can't pick Mamu for that.
But I'm saying, we have to have all.
two guys we just picked pass up mamu matisse and colin sexton sexton to be six or seventh man they should
have been our seventh we just wasted picks for some giggles doing brawny all right
donovan who you're saying um pick camp car yo you should hell no um elite role player this guy is
i think that he's already like a good player but i think that he's already like a good player but i think that he's going
to take another step, be an elite role player, take somebody's job, set up one of his homies
to be backdoored.
I'm taking Anthony Black here.
Good pick.
I hadn't written down to.
I'm taking Anthony Black.
I think by the end of this year, the Magic should look at their roster.
And even though that there was like Jalen Sucks talk or Jalen Sucks trade talk at the end of this
year, you're still like, oh, let's run it back.
Right.
He's been here for a while.
Yeah, obviously he had a bad playoffs, but let's give him some more time.
I think Anthony Black is developing into a guy that will be the starting guard next year over Jaylen Suggs.
I think Jalen Suggs might, they're going to be very comfortable with the idea of moving off of Jailen Suggs after this year because Anthony Black is taking another step forward.
I think that he will be recognized as one of the better role players in the league.
His three-point shot, his rookie year, it was really, really high, but I mean, the volume is, it is what it is.
Shout 1.4 game.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It just wasn't there.
So like the volumes going up, but he's good from the corners.
He shot his highest percentage from the rim last year.
His defense is fantastic.
You know, either on ball or playmaking, just getting, you know, stocks and stuff like that.
I think he definitely is needed on this team also to keep whatever version of where defensive
dogs defensive minded he's they kind of need that and i think anthony black will provide that for him
so he is my next pick okay okay and you're doubling up here yeah yeah who else you got um
i wasted a dude big there's like three guys i want now oh my fuck you can only get two of them this sucks
yo this okay so this pick is hard because there's a lot of guys on this team but i really really
like this player so i'm just gonna take them
And I guess we can go elite role player
I'm gonna go Trey Johnson here
Hmm
Okay interesting because I was gonna pick another wizard too
How many of these wizards can break out to be really good
And that's why it's hard
And but
Let's put us together
Let me just say this one
Yeah I'll pick Kishon George elite role player
You don't think he was that last year
You don't think he took like a step forward last year
Yes do I think he's one of the best role players in the league
Fuck now
Okay
But if you guys in time he's too obvious
That he'd be thinking he's gonna be in that trajectory
I cannot pick him
What do you, my question is, what do you need to see out of him?
Yeah, I don't know how you quantify an elite 3 and D player like that.
I don't know.
We would just know, we consider him like.
Yeah, these two are really just vibes.
But I think, trade Johnson is Keishon Joyce too obvious?
I can pick somebody else.
I think he already made that leap last year.
Like he averaged like 15, 14 points a game developed his passing a little bit more
maintaining like a decent level of defense.
He's a good three-point shooter.
I think he's going to like be, out of all the uncertainties on the roster,
like one of the more certain things.
I don't know.
Okay.
Tell me about Tray Johnson.
Whose job is he taking?
So I've liked Tray Johnson a lot because really of just his shooting and he started
the year off shooting very, very well and then hit a rookie wall, struggled in the second
half of the year and the three-point shot wasn't really there.
But I think you can attribute that to him being, being a rookie and, you know, playing, playing
the whole season and playing this amount of games for the first time.
in his career.
But now that he's going to have the same way that like Sar is going to eat because he has
an actual playmaker, Trey Johnson is also going to eat because he has gravity from other players.
He has a playmaker in in Trey Young who can set him up.
He's very good off ball.
He's very good not only as a three point shooter, but from the mid range as well.
He can score.
I think that if he can get his his like downhill scoring a little bit and be able to like attack a
little bit there, we can get to a really, really high level.
But even then, I just think his.
His numbers are just going to be nice this year.
I, dude, this is so weird, but he's so good and he's like almost unknowingly good
because the Wizards have so many things that's going on.
And they're like, Brian Keith is going to have a hell of a, like, litmus test next year because.
Man, is he good?
He might, he's going to have to break out.
We.
That's what I really don't know what he does right now.
Who knows?
The team is so dog shit.
Like, I couldn't tell you.
Yeah, exactly.
And through all this dog shit.
I'll be my next pick.
Trey Johnson is just too good to ignore as a player.
Like last year through the small time that Trey Young was there,
he had such good synergy and just like him and him and Trey Young were on the same pathway
and the type of offball stuff that he was doing,
throwing cross court passes and all that was quite surprising.
And Trey Johnson is just a good player who just needs to be on the basketball court a lot,
bro, in my opinion.
Okay.
I want to make an all-star swing here since I wasted a do.
you need makeup
yeah but there's a few
that I have here
I'll just talk through them all
if y'all want to pick one after me
I don't care
that don't feel great about
part of me feels like a men Thompson
can take Shingun's all-star spot
as a second rocket
that's real
part of me thinks he can do that
I'm not gonna lie
I would sabotage you
but that's a smart bed
well's my turn
I know so do it
oh you saying you would sabotage
oh my bad
misunderstood you
I'm not gonna do that though
you can have it if you'd like
I think that's just not a certain
you know if Shingoon has like
when you make multiple all-star
I think you kind of become a default in people's minds when a team is good.
That, especially with the international format, like, I find it hard to believe voters wouldn't
pick him unless a man went stupid.
And I don't really know, I don't really have any reason other than hope to believe that, like,
a scoring leap is coming.
County George, go put up the numbers to be an all-star alternate.
If the Jazz or seven-seat or whatever.
I could see that, too.
Do you think he would get the nod over, or Lowry?
Lorry misses a lot of games.
Maybe, maybe he counted his average, like, 26 this year.
Okay.
Still a terrible defender, but like, maybe he puts up stupid numbers.
If they kept Kessler and had faith, they'd be a really good team.
Maybe I would have done that.
I don't feel great about that.
I think I'm going to go Franz Wagner making his first All-Star team.
Now that right there, I think we can't.
That's kind of.
Yeah.
He's already been that.
He would have been an All-Star last year if he was just straight-up healthy.
Okay.
I'm surprised by that one.
Okay.
I think he's already, like, he's already known to me to be like that good in the Eastern Conference specifically.
I think you should know that we think much higher of him than the average person does.
I think you should know that.
We also do it.
We glaze him.
I was fighting for Franz yesterday and everyone's like,
are you serious?
I think he's better than Palo Van Caro right now.
I think Palo obviously we always have all the talks like Palo should be better than him.
I think I have more faith than Fron's these days.
Okay.
I've always talked about that and whether we commit to saying that.
I'm just saying that these days.
Not everybody agrees with that.
Most people think I'm a fucking nerd, fake woke for saying that shit.
So if we want to say that we're going off our perception, not the world,
okay, I don't got to take Franz, but it's far from a certainty.
Okay.
The only thing is, if you do take Fron's,
That means that, you know, the land of magic
going to be like a top five, top 16 in the Eastern Conference.
Now we're taking Palis-Chain.
Franz is the only all-star.
No, that's tough.
That perception is wild to me.
We're back doing it by the deadlines.
If you want to put that bet in, then okay.
It's fine.
If you want to let it slide, okay.
There's too much uncertainty from y'all, I guess it's fine.
No, I think he's right that like we are higher on France,
but I'm with you that I think France is already good enough to where that's like, yeah.
Okay, fine.
Another name we haven't talked about Dylan Harper isn't make a leap.
I think we'd have to definitively say All-Stra.
to allow him to slide.
Yeah, I agree.
And no hard to be a definitive all-star.
Yeah.
That's the only reason I haven't taken him yet.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He has been an all-star.
Him and Castle would have to be all-stars.
And I think Castle has a much easier path to get them.
They're going to get a second all-star.
The writing on the wall with Deeran wouldn't suggest that Deeran is the best bet to get a
second all-star.
So what of them could be the play?
It might be a 50-50 shot.
Who he thinks is going to be that guy?
Maybe Castle's the play here being their second all-star.
How many points did he averaged last year?
He average 16.7, 7.4 assists, 5.3 rebounds.
Do we think if they, if they're the two seed and they're going to say, we need a second
spur, last year it was Fox.
Now the narrative was flipped.
Fox and Harper will be the one splitting minutes.
Well, Cassel just be the steady factor because he's the defender.
Is he the play to be their second all-star?
He is.
He is.
He's the one.
I might be the best bet unless you foresee something crazy happening between Fox and Harper
and they just like backdoor and Deer and Fox.
I foresee Harper being a superstar.
I don't know if it's right away
and I don't know if it's not to be an All-Star fast enough
and I think they can split enough minutes
that it's weird.
I'll go Stefan Castle All-Star.
I'll play the odds here.
If Stefan Castle averages one more bucket of game,
like if he gets to 18,
there's already the, you know,
Stefan Castle is one of the best perimeter defenders in the league.
He's going to be,
he's going to have major buzz this year
as one of the best two-way players in the game.
and especially if the spurs come out and, you know, like,
disaster doesn't strike and they are the one or two seed,
he's going to be the second all-star.
You think it's a certainty?
I think so.
I think so.
The only thing is what if Deeran just bounces back because his ankle works
and he's once again very good?
He's not the defender.
I think that playoff run from Deeran,
I do think it hurt the way people look at him.
100% is.
Seriously.
And it's good.
It's going to stick with him.
It's going to stick with him throughout this year.
Really throughout the regular season, he's going to have to wait until the playoffs to
reprove himself again as the veteran point guard who's coming in and doing all these things.
And at the same time, he's going to have to wait eight months to prove himself again.
Who knows if Harper is going to pass him in the regular season?
He has so much going against him right now that I think that Saffan Castle has the easiest path.
Sounds like I just got a fucking steal in the six round.
You did.
You did.
Okay.
You did.
Give me those three points.
But you better not turn an ankle, Castle.
I'll be pissed.
This should be a steal.
It's a good bet, man.
That's a good bet.
I like that.
That's very solid.
My heart said just pick Harper,
because he's going to be amazing.
But we'll go with Castle.
Yeah, and I had Harper on my list.
I didn't have Castle.
But Harper is just the one where everybody's just said it.
We've all said it so much in the off season.
It's like, I guess we just have to talk through it.
Yeah.
Okay.
Don, Mo, who is your last two picks?
last two picks
I have to get an elite role player
and I'm going for
Cedric Coward. See, valid?
You can for sure have him. You love him.
See, the fact that you asked him that's valid
you think he's already that. Nobody else thinks that.
So I'm glad you picked your guy in that way because you love him.
You said the elite role player?
Yes, elite role player for Cedger Coward.
Yeah, that is your guy.
Yes, so I think Cedric Coward is definitely going to be
giving me points with this one because with the way
this team is set up.
Notice how no one said Ty Jerome because we already think he's like really good.
But I guess like perception really doesn't allow that.
And with the only real tier for him that's available is what like all star.
And I don't think people are going to say he's going to be an all star.
So sadly he's just going to be left off of this list based off of how we align things.
But we already know he's that good already.
Been a six man of the year for the 15 games that he played.
Ty Jerome averaged like 20 points per game.
Mad efficient.
He's like that.
now there's cedric kowder in the middle there's two big ass motherfuckers you have to worry about on a consistent
basis between boozer and also zack edie and if edie is healthy there's only so many so much attention
that a team can have towards tides your own flying around causing chaos sending up a lot of players
for easy buckets and also zac edie and kam boos are just playing volleyball between each other and
other two teams i think cedric kowder is set up perfectly to have a pretty efficient year
average some like 17 points for game get to a spot specifically in mid range a lot easier he
played in summer league and he was like just i think he just showed on a consistent basis yeah like
he's too good to be out here and i think it's clear as day that he set up to be an elite role
player and one of the main core reasons why that this team probably is like an eighth seed there's him
there's forget jeremy grand's on this team too but you might eat up a lot of him yesterday
yeah bro they say he lost all his aura they suck
that shit out of him. It's cool. You cut his dreads off?
He just, yeah, cut his dreads off and no accessories, no edge up.
He just looked like a dude. He don't look good on them in the Memphis, Jersey's jersey.
At all. He doesn't scream like a, it was weird to look at. Yeah. He just looked like he lost all
his juice. Yeah, for sure. So, Cedricoward. Some juice for you to take. Hey. Okay.
Taking Jeremy's juice.
Damn. Okay. So I think I'm going to go for,
I should go for a swing here, but I think this guy's really,
really safe. And also he's like loki, one of my favorite up and coming role players too.
I'm going for Rashir Fleming on the Phoenix Suns.
Okay. I think he is wildly underrated. He's one of the, I think he's one of the three best
defenders out of last year's draft class, probably number two right behind CNB, if you ask me.
And bro, this motherfucker is six, nine. Apparently he gained like two, like hell of weight this past
summer. He's like 250 pounds now. He has pretty much the same wingspan as someone like,
at home room at 7-5, he's ridiculous.
And I think that...
He's a 7-5 wingsman?
He has a 7-5 wingsman.
He's a 2K player, but he's built just crazy.
You know?
I think Jordan Ott is a really smart head coach.
And he gave someone like Rashir Fleming's good opportunity last year,
but he allowed Royce O'Neill to close a lot of minutes because he's the vet he's
going to make all the time he shots, yada, yada, yada.
And this is the same old story that everyone says about certain role players.
if he can shoot at least like 34,
35% from 3,
you're going to eat up a lot of minutes.
You're going to get up a lot of time.
And I think that more likely than not on a consistent basis,
if the Phoenix Suns are winning games,
it'll have a lot more to do with Rashir Fleming
than someone like Miles Bridges,
who's at this point in my mind,
like a one-way player who provides, you know,
decent stuff offensively for you.
She's a 0.5 way player.
Yeah.
So are you going elite role player?
I'm going with
I don't think he was a playable rotation player
last year. You can go good six man.
Yeah, so you could have like good six man or whatever.
Good six seventh man.
Okay.
Mr. Six-seven.
Is paid Boston elite role player?
Yeah,
you got paid like one.
Yeah.
But I think it's an easy bet.
But a lot of people though,
to me at least like aren't 100% certain
that he is that for real, for real.
I'm not certain.
But it's a decent bet with opportunity.
So I'm just playing the game here.
I'm like, it's a decent bet that he'll be a good start.
You can have him.
I'm not against that pick.
I'm just talking about for the last few names I have to talk everybody.
I'm not guarantee you going to pick him.
He's a acceptable though.
Yeah.
Yeah, he's there because the, the stretch that he had,
especially for most people,
the stretch that he had being as short as it was and then him not being there in the
playoffs to really confirm what you saw in the regular season.
Yeah.
That is enough to where you can still question it and people are
still like, well, the cabs took a swing.
They took a game, but I don't know if this contract is ultimately going to work out.
So he's cool.
Okay.
Don't know if I'm going to go there.
I think he might be Yokch made, but I think it's a worthy person to think about.
Common Moliwash.
He's going to start the season as a starter.
I had him on my list.
What was he last year to y'all?
Can I say good six man if I think Mark Williams comes back and starts, but I think
Malawash will be like just as good and maybe start some games.
Like, good six, man.
I shouldn't be saying this, but I don't think that.
injury for Mark Williams will not allow him to be a set of the starting center anymore for this team yeah i think he's really goddamn good and similar things to what i said about sedger coward when it comes to seeing how he looked like in summer league come on shouldn't be playing at all right the way he was fucking pulling up from not pulling up from three but like doing the cat to shoot three stuff seeing how just he just looks depart looks different i kind of want to go only role player but i'm like take that swing
i don't know if he's a great bet there's a world where he hasn't quite shown enough for me to feel super elite role player is a high bar
he'll be a good enough starter.
He'll be better than good six man.
Elite role player will he get all the way there
Will he be stuck in between?
I don't know.
Thinking about him,
there's always Modis was Ellis.
What you feel good about being a better situation
as years ago on?
I can tell you wanted him with your last pick, I feel like.
He's at the end of my list,
but I think Modis is also,
he's kind of in that same tier of
what we're talking about with Dylan Harper.
Yeah.
Where I think he's going to be good,
but I think to have him on this list,
you have to go All-Star.
Yeah.
Oh, really?
And I'm not sure if that's in the cards right now.
Okay, so I can't go elite role player modest.
No.
Okay.
He's close enough for that already.
Yeah, he avered like 17 last year already.
Yeah.
He proved on a couple things in good days.
I think a Derek Queen bounced back to see what we looked at the beginning of last year is in the cards.
Yeah, that's fair.
Elite role player, Garrett Queen.
Because I think you have Derek Queen.
There's concerns about him.
Yeah, there's fair concerns.
I also think the team is fuckery.
So I'm like, are they going to be able to facilitate him looking good?
I don't know.
But I do have more faith that he's not how bad he was the second half of the year.
bouncing between those guys.
Darren Sharp is going to be the new starting net center.
That's your guy.
I think he's a good starter.
Elite role player might be a little rich,
but he's like he's a clear good starter.
I'm going to have a phrase for that,
so maybe I won't go him.
I guess I'll go Maliwash,
elite role player.
That's another big.
That's fair.
I like that pick.
That's honestly one of my favorite picks here.
I don't want on my list.
Yeah, I'll go Mollawash,
elite role player just for him.
As Senator is a hard one to call.
I feel like elite role player.
We always quantify that with like 3&D wings
and like guys that are like do also.
stuff but sub all-star level he's gonna be a very good starting center doing starting center shit
that we'll see if we feel like it's elite role player or just a good center i could see us
ranking him as like the 19th best center and it's not quite elite role player and i'm like damn he's
close but didn't quite get there that's what i'm worried about but that's always my last pick
there's a war where he shoots threes and block shots and sets big hardy screens and he is a top 15
center yeah it's super possible all right good pick um all right last pick of this
is clinging too good well i guess for for a little
Role player? Yeah, he was already elite role player, like certifiably, I think.
I would say so. He's probably a little too good. Okay. I feel aware that no one's
picking a men. It's valid because we can like stop the hype a little bit. But every year we
always have a men and men and men. It's interesting. We're not feeling that always.
It's just because the way that we have the tiers set up in like the certain leaf that you
have to make, that that's what makes it hard. Yeah. I'm going to take Yannick here.
He's on my list. Yeah. I know that so he's not going to
to be ready to start the year, but they're saying that he should be good by November,
which is like he'll be out a couple weeks. I think that one, with Brooke Lopez there,
shout out, shout out to Brooke Lopez.
Hold on it down. Yeah, holding it down. But Yannick is obviously very, very young, provides room
protection, can give them some youth at that position. And when he's actually there in place,
he's been super productive for them.
And now that the clips are in this really weird position,
and you also don't know when B.I.
is going to be fully B.I.
There's going to be a role for Yon to be very impactful on the defensive end
as a shot blocker, as a room protector.
And, you know, score a solid 12 to 14 points.
And I think that we're going to look up.
Like, I think he has the potential to be better than,
like he could be better than Moloash this year.
That would be surprising to me if he was better than Moloash.
The flashes are there.
The athleticism is there.
He's a guy that like I've seen him play.
I've seen the flashes.
Maybe I wasn't catching enough Clippers games.
I understand why they're hype.
He's a young player on the team that's promised.
I get it.
He's there due zero but better.
Like in terms of he registers the same excitement to them.
He registers to me.
I just have no clue what the actual extent of the flashes are.
Like me personally, I don't have a real feel for how good I think he'll be.
I think he's going to be really good.
He gained a lot of weight this off season two.
And I don't know who'll be getting away and lose the weight.
Weight watchers over here for real.
BMI Maxis.
But yeah, he
probably became the most way
of all these guys
in this tier honesty.
But between him
and Yone,
one of these bi-rero big
has got a pop,
but I just put them in my head together
as these athletes
that are like,
we'll see what they become.
So I'm not down on him,
high on him.
I just literally don't know
and I'm excited to see
the first half of the year
what it looks like.
To me,
that's the answer.
It's a coin flip.
Black box could be anything to me.
Yeah.
He's a good six men,
right?
Yep.
Yeah.
Fair. Okay. So we have our teams. I've picked Austin Reeves, Alexar, Zach Edy, Vijay, Edgecombe, Addu Thiro, Stefan Castle, common mollywash.
Okay, I got Cooper Flagg, Anthony Edwards, Igor Jolman. I got Aaron Wiggins, Bronny James, Cedric Howard, and Rashir Fleming.
And I have Walker Kessler, Carter Bryant, Yom Barangay, Yugo Gonzalez, Anthony Black, Trey Johnson, and Yonick.
Okay.
Yo, I have all the star power on this list besides Anthony Edward and the Cooper flag.
The castle in the sixth round is crazy.
How did we not talk about that sooner?
I think it was hard for us to like, sit down and actualized.
He's mad solidified, but also like there is that leap that he.
Yeah, he's clearly not an all star.
Yeah.
But clearly very good.
So, like, we had to talk through it to be like, oh, yeah, I guess that makes sense.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
But that's fair.
So is anyone else making a top 15 week?
What did you say?
Anyone else making a top 15 leap outside of flag?
Yeah, I didn't feel good about anybody else.
Someone I did feel good about, but then, like, before the trade happened, was Scotty Barnes.
I think he's going to feel like a top 15 player to me.
But I don't know if the counting stats will necessarily be there.
He's for sure going to be an all-star as he is, as he has been over the last few years.
But in order to be, like, top 15, I think that it's hard when you don't have the counting stats unless
you're someone like a grandma on green, which he feels like a grandma-on-green-esque player.
Yeah.
But I don't know if the consensus will.
will allow him to be there or think of him like that he could be not have been a valid pick but actually
what did we consider him last year uh towards the end of the year he was top 20 towards the end of the
year i least for at least for me you rank him around 20 last year then yeah i guess 15 is in the cards
for sure well that's a big leap though so he got he got a he got a big boost after that that playoff
series yeah yeah and then not you know kawai's there to really help about he'll be he'll be on that
on that list fair walker kiss are also our first pick we'll see that's in the swing
Walking Kess All-Stars.
That's a tough one.
That's tough one.
That's tough one.
I think that's a toughest pick.
And the second toughest pick is Aaron Wiggins
being a lead role for after 15.
No, dude, Aaron, he just needs literally
opportunity in minutes and he's going to walk into the platform.
Yes, exactly.
Literally, bro.
Like, you think their coach, Mark Dagnall had the patience to sit down and watch
him do fuck shit.
Meanwhile, you have Kesa Wals there,
Looddort there at the time.
And then you also had, like,
Lou Dorts with him now, too.
Of course, but again.
He's taking a spot in that Lend.
I just think the team's too deep to go,
Aaron Wiggins give us 15 points per game.
I think that would be a bad sign to some extent.
Not not really tough if he's taking that many shots.
Dude, how many people do you think on our team has the ability to create on a high level for a little?
There's not that.
I don't think there's any, nobody creates at a high level for real.
I think you're just very, you're just very high on his, on his ability to, to create.
Like, this really is a talent play for you.
Yeah.
And I also think 21 points per game from Jalen Johnson, 18 from CJ, 15 from Nick Alexander Walker.
20 from nah.
Yeah, 20 from, I'll say 15 to be conservative.
Like that's already, how many points is that I just named?
65.
That's 62 points per game already from those three.
We're going to be a good team.
Lou Doris is going to be getting a lot of minutes.
Jason Wallace is going to average, not Casein Wallace, my bad.
Dyson Daniels is like 12?
Yeah.
Is that anybody had last year?
Yeah.
That's 72.
We're at 80 with Lou Dort.
O'neka's on a play, get himself a good 10 or whatever.
He gets normally 90.
We have good depth on this team.
I agree.
That's good strength of ours.
I think you're going
120 a night
Yo if he score
120 a night
As a lot
The word's up three team in the east
The way that it's coming across
And when you do the math
That's what it sounded like
Listen man
I'm not saying
I'm not saying
120 a night still the night scene
Kill me
And their defensive oriented teams
I think they'll play a lot of Lou Dorr off the bench
Yeah
Lou doors off the bench for us
A lot of minutes
Kingston's gonna get his
Isn't so it's more so like
The infrastructure
And you don't know if he'll get the touches
He's right.
His pure ability.
And naturally, people get hurt, so maybe he'll get more opportunity as time goes on.
I also don't think he's quite good enough.
But it's good enough.
If there was one last piece there, maybe I could like get, I can understand he get there all volume.
Yeah.
Yeah.
If you have just 11.
And a half, I think it's a good season.
I think he'll just, he'll be given a lot longer release.
He will for sure.
Yeah.
Some of because, again, like, if CJ misses a couple games or whatever, you are like the best, immediately, like the best, like, one-on-advantage creator on this team.
And I could envision nights where, like, C.J.'s out.
Maybe he'll get starting minutes or whatever.
That's a tough spot to be.
He said basketball, man.
Don't disrespect him.
He saved basketball.
Oh, if there's a nice where he's the best advantage creator on your team.
Aaron Wiggins is good, man.
What are you paying Jalen Johnson for?
Dan Jones is good in a lot of things.
He's good in everything, bro.
He was like top five last year and assists.
No, but you're saying that there's nights where Aaron Wiggins is the best on your team.
Yeah, I mean, like I feel like at advantage creating, which is a very like singularly thing.
Yeah, he has.
big better dribble moves.
Yeah.
If you have Jaylon Johnson,
I would hope that every night,
Jenner Johnson,
is that guy.
But he doesn't have better dribble moves than Airwiggins.
That's kind of a problem.
That's not because he does literally every single thing on the court way better than Airwiggins.
Well,
that's Chris is just dribbling.
Exactly.
Can you hear me some ha ha ha ha,
without no mess up at all,
no stutters for 15 minutes straight?
So you're just,
generally goes to struggle.
So you're just saying,
and Wiggins is better at just like,
I just drool.
Yes, drills, not
Yes, he is.
He can impress Drew Handling easily.
Shout out Aaron Wiggins.
I hope we average 15 for your sake.
You got him and Brody James?
Watch, man.
All right, so we know your worst bed is Aaron Wiggins.
Your worst bet is Walker Kassar.
What was my worst bet here?
I'm going to say, dude, but it's a 0.5 pick.
You have a lot of safe bets.
The most risky one, obviously, probably is Eady.
Oh, true.
Yeah, that's definitely the worst one.
Yeah, he gets hurt easily.
Yeah.
But also that, I don't...
It's definitely that because he probably will get hurt.
Yeah.
My word, I think my worst bad person is probably Bronny.
Because, like, all my other guys have pretty much no competition.
Then, Bronte just has, like, a stack of just solidified guys.
Why did it run the league?
Dude, it's a deep bench.
Why do we do this?
I don't know.
I just wanted to pick him.
I had to shout him out.
And you were, you jumped off a bridge.
I jumped with you.
Because immediately, he would be one of my favorite stories.
It's a good story.
Yeah.
Okay.
And there we go.
That is all.
Breakout players of the 2026, 2027 season draft.
With that being said,
Be Souls, what are we talking about
on today's producer corner?
Today, we're playing guess the percentage.
I have some facts for y'all.
They'll go guess the percentage of whatever it is.
First one, what percentage of Americans believe in ghosts?
I feel like it's high.
It's high.
Middle America's full of idiots.
I feel like it's high.
The people that are at home living in Wisconsin or something
watching ice road truckers all day?
My I used to love
watching
Long Island Medium
I forget
I forget what channel that was
All these type of daytime TV shows
I'm gonna say like
77%
That's high
I think it's high
I think it's high too
But 77%
That's like
That's a lot bro 46%
Because I don't think that it's just like
Ghost in the
In the regular sense of just like boo
I think
I think it's just like beings from beyond.
And so that that might bring in a little bit extra.
So I will go high.
47%.
I think I'm going to go 62%.
Okay.
39%.
Okay.
Yeah.
I figured it was less than half.
It's under half?
Yeah.
I mean, they're gross.
Like, man, they haven't been spooked enough, man.
What the hell?
I mean, if y'all want to question the poll and the methodology, I mean, of the, of the, of the, uh,
yeah, I think that's, 70 or so it makes sense.
Keep mind.
It's been to go focus on people after.
40% is a large group of the population that believes in something that is obviously not true.
That's a big group of people.
Would you guys want somebody?
You think it's not true?
All right, man.
Don't let me stop like you're part of that.
What the hell?
I'm part of the 61.
I don't want now.
39 is a big group of people for the whole population.
If you were a ghost, who would you hunt?
Ooh, who would I haunt?
Who's my biggest up?
You have to be something.
Someone went out of the school, right?
Like, not like a celebrity.
Yeah, I'd probably haunt Jared Vanderbilt.
Never mind.
Okay, next.
Like Rob Polinka maybe.
Yeah.
Damn.
What percentage of Americans believe astrology is real?
Oh my goodness.
Okay, so 50% of the population are women.
That's obviously the biggest astrology belief group,
but obviously not all women believe in that.
Do half of women believe in that?
And like a quarter of men?
I'm not sure.
I will say,
When I tell everybody that I'm, that like I'm having a baby and they're like, oh, like, when's the baby come in?
Like in January, the first thing anybody says is like, oh, my God, she's going to be a Capricorn.
Like, it's at the top of everybody's mind.
But does that mean when you at Pulse somebody, do you believe in astrology?
A lot of people will be like, oh, he's a Capricorn for fun.
But you ask them, do you believe in astrology?
They're going to be like, well, no, but it's fun.
Yeah.
They might say no to that question.
A lot of people seem tapped in.
I agree.
Yeah.
Thoughts something like,
a quarter of men,
half a woman.
That's a big,
that's a big assumption.
Yeah.
It's definitely not half a woman.
I'm about to say.
It's definitely not a quarter of men either.
Like,
who would disproportionately believe in astrology?
Well,
yeah,
I mean,
it is more women-leaning.
So 41% believe in ghosts,
you said?
Yeah.
39.
Okay,
39 are ghosts.
Probably less in astrology?
I think so.
Maybe like 27%.
I was thinking 29%.
Yeah.
So,
funny.
So my,
my best friends,
his grandma's like some type of astrology
grew or whatever. And one day he took a picture of this
on my birthday and you can read off of the far right side of what it says
when it comes to the strike. This is for you? Yeah.
Okay, you're ruling planet. Okay, virtues. You're curious, intuitive
and sensitive. Your vices, you get frustrated, you're temperamental, and
withdrawn. None of this sounds like it makes any sense for you yet.
Really?
Careers.
Science.
That's what this is what I thought was me.
For real.
You feel like you're a temperamental person?
I've never once thought you're temperamental.
Or frustrated easily withdrawn.
Frustrated easy, no.
Yeah, I don't think any of that applies.
The visors don't apply to you at all.
I mean, are you, okay.
Careers, scientific theorist.
I do be thinking.
Philosopher.
Literature professor.
Amen.
Name five books.
That's damn near close.
Name five books.
I can't name three.
I'm kidding.
Psychic and spiritual leader.
That's podcasting right there, bro.
His skills and aptitude, powers of investigation, desires to delve into unexplored areas.
I do be deep in basketball reference, bro.
He be thinking.
He be thinking.
I know men, bro.
I'm going to wait.
I know what you're doing in the off season.
I'm going to say 27% believe in astrology.
I'll go lower 22%.
I'm going to say 35%.
25%.
Who's closer?
You said 20, what?
I said 27.
Okay, you're closer about 1%.
Okay.
Next.
What percentage of pet
consider their pet
just as much of a family member
as a human?
This is high.
High as fuck.
This is high.
Percentage of pet owners.
Oh, pet owners?
Yeah.
Oh, like,
80.
Almost all of them, I think.
If the prerequisite is they already own a pet,
I thought we counted non-pet owners.
Yeah.
Of pet owners, 85%.
Yeah, I'll go 87.
I think it's high.
87.
He might be 100.
I'm gonna say
I'm gonna say 68%
Damn, kind of glazing is 51%.
That's it.
Okay.
For pet owners.
That's surprising.
I thought most people that have pets
considered them part of the family.
I guess maybe would they clarify more specifically
like are the equal footing to a human?
And maybe they're like, all right, no.
Also, we said pets like
once you get past the, I don't know
if like the turtles and the fish
are getting kind of like that.
But the cats and dogs definitely.
Yeah.
The turtles and the fish.
And no disrespect to the turtles and the fish.
Right.
You're right.
Yeah.
But what do?
Right.
Respect all in.
All due respect to the amphibian life.
Yeah.
But I think cats and dogs are.
I don't know.
Frogs matter.
With on a different tier.
Okay.
Next.
Um,
what percentage of Americans under 30 don't use cash at all in a typical week?
I haven't used cash
I don't use cash
Americans under 30
Yeah
Bro,
68%
I'm 71%
I don't know the last
I'm going to use cash
I only have cash to give away
Like I never use cash to buy things
If I get changed
It's something's giving it away to someone
I'm never using cash in any way that matters
Yeah
I'm an Apple Pay merchant now too
So I barely use card
Oh yeah
I don't take my wallet places usually
I use my phone
Yeah
I'm gonna say
70%
68
71
well it's 51
wow
51%
under 30
yeah
that could that could make sense
especially in places like
New York I guess
where cash is to like a very relevant thing
whenever you're like going to your local bodakas or whatever
fucking mess with street vendors that makes sense
but even then like
maybe taking apple pay now man
yeah like dog people
yeah if you go to like a bodega like a bodega like even just
somebody selling stuff on the side of the road like everybody has the little square the little tap
i've never used cash in new york yeah i've never lived there i was there yesterday i went to a
bodega yesterday i sure as hell apple paid yeah you think like even when i go to some laundromats
when i was like living in new york like two years ago or whatever you still have to use cash
and do the whole coin thing it's also different i'm talking about a bodega and union square it's
different if you're like yeah in a neighborhood people live in the home or brought something like that yeah
All right next
What percentage of American adults use TikTok
Under 30
Under 30 years old
90%
I can't be that high
But it's fucking high
I think over 70
I'm gonna say 72%
I'm gonna say 73%
It is 63%
Wow
But if you expand it to
And like all adults
It goes down to 37%
Okay
That makes sense
A lot of old people in this world
Yeah
So that's interesting
Okay next
What percentage of Americans
admit
they've peed in the shower.
Admit is key here.
Yeah, admit.
You think most people are shameful about like,
ah, yeah, pee.
I don't think people would admit it.
Yeah, because like, why would you?
You'd just say no.
Who's going to be like, who's going to oppress you?
Yeah, well, I open yourself up to judgment.
It'd be sloshy in the shower.
Well, maybe this is like an anonymous poll.
There's no pressure.
Be slowly, pee in the shower?
He's not trying to ignore it.
He's trying to ignore it.
Answer the question, man.
And for that, and for that reason.
I'm going to say 17%.
It's an easy lie.
No one can press you.
No what, 9%.
It just got pressed by the way.
9%.
Well?
I'm going to say 20%.
Some people are going to be openly honest.
70%.
Wow.
70% say yes?
Yes.
Okay.
And you're part of 30.
That's piss shy.
Hey, man.
You're a fish shy.
That's crazy.
Hey, I pee in the shower.
We got them.
We got them.
Okay.
What percentage of Americans have at least one tattoo?
Percent of Americans?
Yeah.
Is there an age?
Like, do you need to be an adult?
There's no age on this.
Well, I'm assuming they're not counting children because I'd fuck up the stats.
If they're counting children, it's like 2% I imagine.
No.
I'm assuming one count.
I'm assuming they're like 18.
18 up.
Actually, they might be.
Because there's a additional here of, there's another percentage of all adults have more
one.
So.
So they're counting kids?
Apparently.
Okay, fucking 4%.
I don't know.
7%.
I'm going to say...
Or, actually, no, 13.
13%.
I'm going to say 20%.
32%.
They can't be counting kids.
There's no way.
I guess.
So it says,
what percentage of Americans
have at least one tattoo?
Answer 32%.
And 22% of all adults
have more than one.
Yeah.
Oh, second one was more than one.
It was a qualifier,
which is multiple.
So it was all adults
the first one. Oh, okay, okay. Okay. Yeah, it's a volume thing for the second
qualifier. It makes sense. All right. Last one. What percentage of
Americans believe aliens probably or definitely exist? I feel like this is high.
Yeah, this one's high. What was the ghosts? 39. 39. aliens is higher, right?
Have to be. I think, I think at least have. 52%. I'm gonna say 47%. 53%.
Um, 56%. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. Makes sense. Yeah. The majority, especially like, I feel like in the
21st century there's been a major acceptance of like everybody knows the universe is so vast now and
i've focused at a prevailing sentiment now opposed to when we were children like 2009 or whatever
is like the universe is so big the odds are of course there's something out there you know
is that everybody doesn't seen all these marvel movies they're like yeah something like that's
real yeah gotta be at least one right yeah at least one not that long ago there was like i think
maybe like three or four months ago the u.s government announced that there was like an actual
unidentified flying objects out there
that no one knew what the fuck was.
Yeah.
And it was like,
it got like hell.
There was like,
it was flooded on my Twitter time line.
Yeah,
it's just Thor.
Yeah,
just hammer going by.
Okay,
actually last one here.
What percentage of Americans
like or love pineapple on pizza?
Oh.
12%?
We got to put down 12% of the population.
16%?
Ooh.
I'm gonna say,
I think it's higher than that.
Really?
Yeah.
I'm gonna say,
like it.
27%.
Probably got to put you down, man.
That's probably a good bit.
48%.
We got some extermination to do.
Stop that.
It's good.
We got to make the world better, man.
It's good.
I like it.
If I have my choice,
I like the world.
I like chicken and pineapple on my piece.
There's so many, like, other uses for pineapple.
Why the hell would you put on your pizza?
Really enough in the Philippines because, like, pizza's like a foreign dish to us.
Like, my introduction to pizza was pineapple.
apple on the pizza.
Oh, someone cursed you.
That's crazy.
Yeah.
Wow.
There you go.
That's what I said.
Okay.
And with that being said, that is the end of producer corner.
Now we're off to TikTok time.
Woo!
Welcome to TikTok time.
Today, per usual, we are going to begin with a draft,
doing a 2V2 draft,
me and B Souls,
first Donovan and Moe.
And today the theme is doing a draft,
spinning the wheel like always,
with only 2,000 NBA teams.
Okay.
So we'll get the year and the logo.
Got to pick a player from only in 2000's team.
Be So you've lost every time you've done this.
Yes.
Do you feel today's your day for redemption?
Yes.
Let's lock in.
Do you feel like you have to say yes?
Yes.
Let's lock in.
Nevertheless, he's locked in.
That's what matters.
Hit that first spin.
Let's see what we're starting.
All right.
Team number one is the 2000 Cleveland Cavaliers.
Let's get the rosters up.
Oh, I got it.
2,000 Cleveland Cavaliers.
That's fucking nasty to start with.
God damn.
That specific year?
I don't even recognize them as a team that year.
Free brawn calves is tough.
Okay, who were the best?
They had Trades in Langdon, future GM.
Danny Ferry, future GM.
They got future GMs left and rights.
They got old man, Sean Kemp.
Okay.
Andre Miller.
What was the record that year?
Yo, the highest,
Anjinn Miller was a leading score at 15 a game.
Now, it was Sean Kemp at 17.8 points per game,
playing 82 games at age 30.
We will take Sean Kemp in power forward.
Okay.
Damn.
Okay.
That was third year in Cleveland.
Only 30 years old.
I thought he was older at that point.
All right.
You know what?
Fine.
Yeah, he's not an all-star anymore, but I'll take it.
He's not completely washed up.
Yeah, yeah.
He can jump a little bit.
He could jump.
Blocking 1.2 shots a game.
Forty-one person from the field.
Nice, nice.
Shit.
All right, where are you guys going?
Oh
Andre Miller was a rookie this year.
It's all you.
He pawned it off on him this turn?
No, I mean, this is nasty, bro.
I mean, Lamon Murray.
He average 16 to game two,
five rebounds, two assists.
I actually shot a fishing from the field.
But I don't know who that is.
just take rookie andrew miller keep it moving like this is gonna be bad bro at least you know as a rookie and
andrews still pass this is uh and j miller fourth and rookie of the year voting yep okay 11 points let's
take andrew miller yeah 11.6 assists that's good he played all 82 games yeah you could do worse
all right Andre miller it's not bad someone who's holding down the fort good methods good methods
i like that we got a star after he was a star and a star before he was a star sick right
Who's team number two?
I need a good team, please.
2,000
Minnesota Timberwolves.
Okay.
Bees old is your turn, but Donovan's up first.
Oh, cool. I'll just take KG.
Oh, God.
Yeah, so I was worried about us after KG.
Yeah.
Who'd they have in 2000?
Hell yeah.
We guys are up.
Let me look.
he was second an MVP this year
oh shit
second MVP for KG
you're now winning by a mile
yeah I'm gonna just say we won
already
already
I'm gonna say KG kind of stamped it
Tarot Brandon was kind of
comfy this year
Shut up
Tyrol Brandon
Hold on
17 points nine assists
46 40
89
splits
bro
he's a two-time
All-Star
come on
I don't know who
Terrell Bradden is
but he made two all stars in 96 and 97.
This isn't that far after that.
He had a moment.
That's all I need.
Nine assists.
Okay.
That's all I need.
That's a good NBA career.
It's got to Ralph Brandon.
The comments don't know who he is.
We're not going to win anymore.
But it's a good pick.
Yeah.
Okay.
Sounds like he's the Darius Garna of that age or something.
We'll take it.
All right.
Next spin.
Team number three, I'm back up.
In 2000.
One.
Oh, my God.
All these old-ass teams,
2009.
They're not terrible.
Oh, yeah.
you're right, it's a good team. They're not terrible.
Okay, I'll take Chris Weber.
At your five? Yeah, he's on the team in 2001, right?
Yeah, yeah. Just at the five is interesting.
Let me make sure.
Yeah, Chris Robber, yeah, because we're here fourth and MVP.
We'll put Chris Weber at the five, play small ball, get modern.
Okay.
27 points for game 11 rebounds for assists.
We won.
We won.
We'll go ban for band.
Relax.
You got KG.
And we go ban for band with the young KG.
Sure, man.
There's a pick.
Yeah, give me Pager.
There we go.
Solid.
Perfect pick.
We got a passer.
We got a shooter.
We got KG and MVP.
It's well-rounded.
This is a good system we have in place.
Yeah.
I think honestly,
our teams are working out so far.
Okay.
None of this is bad yet.
I just need like a,
I already got my all-time player,
but I want to be greedy.
I want another one.
Yeah, we need some wing defenders.
Go ahead.
Throw the spurs out here for us.
I'll take Tim.
2001 Milwaukee Bucks.
We're not getting anything past 2001.
That's okay.
That is okay.
because I think
Yeah, Ray's still here.
Damn it.
So we will take Ray Allen.
Wow.
You got spacing.
Wow.
Oh, we have a pick here.
We're good.
We're good.
We have the leading score.
It's tied with Ray Allen.
Who is it?
Beesles.
Your pick, technically.
Oh, Glenn Big Dog Robinson.
There you go.
Glenn Robinson.
Okay.
All-Star.
It was All-Star.
He wasn't all-star in this year.
Ray Allen, all NBA.
Yeah, we need a show.
shooter really bad to two guards. Glad
Robinson in this year shot.
Our team is discussed.
29 for 7.3. Andre
Miller, Ray Allen, page of KG.
Holy shit. Honestly, the
spurs right here would be perfect.
These are nasty teams.
Yeah, we need to shoot a really, really bad.
Y'all's is the nasty team. We have no spacing.
Our team is fantastic. Yeah. Okay.
We need this. We need a shooter. Come on. It's been that last wheel.
08 Lakers. 08 Lakers.
Oh, eight Lakers. God damn.
Oh, 9. Grizzlies.
Oh, my.
Oh. Hey, they're too excited.
because they think they're going to get Marcusol,
I might just cock lock him.
No, no, no, no.
I got the first pick.
I might just try to ruin their lives.
For what?
You're not going to win anyways.
We're still going to be better than you regardless.
Because fuck y'all.
That's why.
Marcusall is on this team.
Markisal will make them unbeatable.
In the modern day, Chris Hover can't play the three.
You know what?
They have Kyle Lowry.
They have Mike Conley.
Yeah, that was four.
OJ Mayo, Rudy Gay.
Mark Gassall.
I'll toss Chris Weber.
6-10 but he's he's mobile with it
he's mobile with it yeah
but Marcus all at the 5
Chris Weber at the 3
Glenn Robinson at the 2
you're serious
do I sound like I'm joking oh my god
do I sound like I'm fucking joking
okay do you hear a waiver in my voice
that implies humor all right man
how good was Marcus on all right so it's on me
uh yeah we'll do this
we'll do this together I think there's only one answer
well now yeah
slide KG
Yep.
And we slide Pacia up.
Yep.
Take,
take them,
take whoever you want.
Zibo was also this year too,
which is interesting.
No,
he was on the team.
Oh, he wasn't?
Nope.
He was still on the patrol ledger
at this point.
I'm pretty sure.
Oh, I'm on the wrong year.
So we could take either Rudy Gay or O.J.
Meryl and put him at the two or the three.
Rudy Gay or
age O.J. Mayo.
Both of them average like 18 point,
whatever.
Yeah.
And Rudy Gay was slightly
more efficient.
But OJ.
Mayo,
38% from 3,
5, 4.63s a game.
Hey man,
Sean Kemp fucked us.
Let's put OJMail at the 3.
Okay.
Bro,
if we had Sean Kemp gone
and Chris Weber at the 4,
Galsall Weber is disgusting.
They don't got defense,
man.
I'm not worried about them.
We don't got defense.
KG's right there.
Hey,
we're whoever offense on page,
yeah.
We got all these big dudes.
Yeah.
Attack him.
Sean Kemp,
put his shoulder.
You got Chris.
Chris Weber is going to try to run off screens
with Ray?
Yeah,
no,
that's absolutely not.
Why would Chris Lurby defending Ray?
Where did that come from?
Who's going to defend Ray?
Robinson.
He can't do that.
Why?
Brian,
he'll take turns.
Chris Weber's be chilling
with Brian with a fucking
rookie Andre Miller.
He's standing in the court.
What is 30-year-old Sean Kent
going to get to do with?
He's going to hate his fucking life, bro.
But I don't know,
Chris Weber is attacking all those malls.
He could barely jump back then.
You can be Kijian?
I don't know.
Mark is not doing anything.
He's getting rebounds
because you got page of boxing him out.
Paysa got him.
This is this is rookie Marcus also good.
Yeah, I'm not saying he's bad.
He's a 24-year-old rookie.
I'm saying, I'm saying he's getting done up.
Yeah, he came at all.
He was he was in NBA ready.
Yeah.
Yeah, okay, so B-Soll, you're never going to win one of these.
Yeah.
I don't know what it is.
Every time you're in these, you lose.
You've lost with all three of us.
Hey, man.
You're not like that.
No matter what the circumstances.
What do you mean?
I just got dealt the bad hand again.
At a certain point, it's not the hand.
What is it?
It is the foot?
Nice.
It is a bad hand, but like some spirit is against you.
It's got to be like Bronman.
Maybe it's me.
Maybe it's me.
You're so proud to that too, aren't you?
Next thing we're going to do.
We are going to see what our NBA fandom red flags are.
Be Souls will show us a behavior that a fan may do.
Maybe it'll say something like love scores or.
hates going to games in person,
whatever may be,
we decide if it's a green flag
because we think it's a good behavior
that we like a red flag
if we just can't condone that type of thing
or a yellow flag if it's somewhere in between.
Okay, okay.
Okay, first thing,
they're a fan of a player
and not a fan of a team.
Oof, it's definitely not a green flag.
It's not.
But then it used to be red flag
there's so many people do what these days.
Who am I to be like y'all are all stupid?
I'll go yellow flag.
It is what it is in the modern day.
I'm going to say green flag.
It's perfect.
We're perfectly fine to be a fan of a player, bro.
What's wrong with that?
But not a fan of a team.
I think you should have a team.
I mean, by proxy, you should be fan of a team.
If you're a fan of a player, you're fan of the team because you want the player to succeed.
So I think it's a per year basis.
You have flexibility.
I think that is an inferior way to view the game.
I think you should have your favorite team that you stick with forever.
And you can rule for players too.
But like, you should have a team.
No, you don't have to, bro.
I think as time goes on.
See, I was going to be lenient.
You're making me change.
There's no rules and loss to this, bro.
And that's the problem.
That's the problem.
We need more respect to do it.
We need more respect to do it.
Like who you like, bro.
It don't matter.
What if you're a fan who lives?
This is all bronze fault, man.
Nah, man, no, man.
What if you're a fan who lives in like Arkansas or something like that?
You don't have a fucking team.
Do you right there.
What if you don't fuck with Oklahoma?
What do you mean?
If you're, if you are in this, now, if you're in a state or you're in a city where,
you don't have a team readily available
that's honestly good you have the whole
country to pick from yeah pick one yeah
but pick one you can I must say you have the roof
for your local team just roof for a team
exactly pick however you like if you are a LeBron van
and you watch them on the calves pick the calves
stick with the calves God and this
is not this is this is much
different than before where
you only see the team in your
market you have the ability
to watch whatever team you want
every single game you can go out
and do that and follow the team
wherever you are.
Yep.
I'll go yellow flag
so I'm not gonna be an old man
and be like you have to pick a team
but part of me believes you should.
Part of me believes
you'd enjoy the game more if you did.
I think it'll make your viewing experience
easier but who cares?
Don't let nobody show you, man.
Go ahead and have you a fan favorite.
It's got a pandering.
All right.
Don't need to go in yellow?
Yeah.
Okay.
Next.
Their goat is Kobe Bryant.
They legitimately believe
he's the greatest player of all time?
Yeah.
Oh, fucking red flag, obviously.
Yeah, I'm going to have to say red flag.
Yeah, I've never seen someone that says that where I like enjoy their opinions about things
Just about anything
Yeah
It's a telltale sign that I just probably went to exit the combo
The greatest of all time is like ah man
I can't ask you of any of your basketball opinions at all
And probably other opinions too you might just not have much to add to a lot of convos
Yeah because the way you get to Kobe being your goat
It's a bad process
Yeah
We gotta accept some logical fallacies along the way
That probably seep into the rest of your life
Yeah, it's a
It's a
It's a
It's a bad process
You gotta be
Repeat offenders
Some other ways
Yeah
You know
You don't
You don't fight it too
You know
You just don't think
That critically
And it's
And it's wrong
Because you don't
Because you
It really is
Tough
Because you are
Incapable
Of separating
Favorite
And best
Or just
looking past emotion. Like you said, you think of critically, like you are just bogged down by the
surface level feelings you have. My goal list is my favorite players list. All right, man. Yeah.
Now you just don't want to participate in the exercise. So now I just feel like I can't
meet you in any way of any serious convoy because you just don't want to, you don't want to be reasonable.
Yeah. You're going to do your own thing. I tell you to name the best player, you're like,
I'm going to name my favorite. You're not following the rules. You can't follow directions now.
It doesn't bode well. It doesn't bode well for you. Yeah. And a lot of times to go back to
to what we just said, a lot of times the people
whose goats are, if Kobe is your goat,
a lot of times you're a Kobe fan, not a Laker fan.
Right? And so you might already have
the split going on with the actual team
that you should be a fan of.
Okay, I see what you.
You probably hate LeBron. And if you're a Lakers fan
who hates LeBron, again, red flag,
I probably don't want much to do with you.
So yeah, I'm going to red flag.
Okay, next.
They think the 2020 bubble ring doesn't count.
doesn't count
doesn't count we have to go
right and you're not thinking critically
you can respect it less
you can say it's not as enjoyable
a ring it's less respectable of a ring
because you don't think the circumstance
or the irregularity of it
makes you think it's a lesser ring
but doesn't count at all
you're not thinking critically here
yeah I don't understand that
and I think more so
in order for you to believe this
you have like a complete
and disgusting utter disdain towards LeBron
only bro if it was like Kauai
winning that shit worth
eh I was about to say James
hard but people will say it didn't count
if it was James Hardin too
because they hate him as well
but if any other like
favorite NBA player of theirs
won a ring other than LeBron I guess Hardin 2
they'll have been like ah it counts
Oh like Hawaii go back to back in the bubble
Oh my God
Jordan yeah they're saying he's top 15 of all time
Yeah easily like they would have been crazy
If Jordan if Jordan won in the bubble
The narrative would be that
his his mentality that he was able
to stay so locked in within that
circumstance that they don't give that grace
to anybody else
It is a red flag.
Solitude didn't bother him.
Yeah.
Because he's so built different.
Yeah.
We were living in dystopian times, man.
COVID was out, man.
Oh, yeah.
And they would have said,
Lloyds,
they would have said Michael Jordan
defeated a pandemic.
Yeah.
They would have said he beat sickness.
Yeah.
He would have been discussing.
All right.
Next.
If Jordan had a COVID game?
Oh my goodness.
Jesus.
They're a Celtics, man.
Can't be green.
What's a yellow flag, man.
Are they from Boston?
Yes.
Okay, you're right, from Boston.
You're just born there.
It's not your fault.
Yeah, it's cool.
It's what you are.
It's neutral.
But if they're not.
Well, okay, so actually, if you're from there, if you're from there, you're following the rules.
You're doing what you're supposed to do.
Thank you.
Yeah.
You're, you're rude for them.
Yeah, but being born in Boston's kind of a red flag of yourself.
You can't choose that.
Not my problem.
Not my problem.
I didn't choose a lot in life.
Still could be a red flag.
That baby me.
Damn, I hope I'm born in New York.
It's like, what the hell this is Colleen?
If you're not from Boston and you're a Celtics fan, it is a red flag.
What are they chosen in the 80s?
Like actively.
Big red flag.
Oh, my goodness, bro.
Chosen in the 80s?
Yeah.
Because that means that you were moved by what they were doing.
and the messaging and the signaling of
and what the Celtics stood for in the 80s.
They were actively in those crowds
yelling out the craziest things, bro.
Yeah.
They just did just different winning basketball games.
No, they didn't.
The fans differed for something a little different.
Exactly.
Because I read Arbach just wanted to win some games.
Yeah, but sometimes I'm sure there's a group of people out there
who didn't even care about basketball
just wanted to go to the game, yell out slurs.
Oh, yeah.
The group people.
Boston residents in 1982.
Exactly.
Okay.
Have you seen that clip from the,
the Jackie Robinson movie
where everybody in the crowd
is like yelling slurs at Jackie Robinson
and it's like a close shot of this kid
who's like looking around
and like taking it in for the first time
and so then he's looking around
he's like oh I guess this is what we do
and then he just yells out of it.
Like I swear to God
people didn't even care about the game at all.
That's how it was for Boston in the 80s.
They couldn't name more than three players
just wanted to go out and yell bro.
If you were born in 1982,
you would have said it.
What?
Don't put that on me
Don't
Not today
You weren't boring
I think you too
So you're good
All right
Next
They think
College basketball players
Just care more
Reflect
You're straight bitch made
I can't
You're just racist
And that's the only way
to put it
There's no
No no no way to justify
This opinion
Other than I like
White players
More than I like black players
Yeah man
And anytime they say this, they start talking about them, oh, yeah, they don't even, they don't make no money, yada, yada, yada.
Oh, they used to be like that now, obviously.
Who don't make money?
Yeah.
We went to Texas in 2017 to 2021.
In 2018, I heard the basketball players talk about so-and-so got a Bentley.
I have an event, the bends.
That was before NIL.
They've been getting money.
True, true, true, true, true.
True.
Oh, my goodness.
Yeah, especially now, you.
Post NIL, you really can't say this.
If you still believe this post NIL, then it's like, oh, you really just are hating at the highest level.
I don't like seeing no.
Bro, Bichon had a Lamborghini.
He had a Lamborghini deep.
No, you're actually serious?
I'm dead eye.
Wow.
Yeah, this is the biggest red flag in sports.
The biggest dog whistle in sports.
Okay.
Next.
They switched their favorite team at some point.
I have to know what reason.
Because I do think that everybody gets an opportunity
To switch your team like one time
Where if the team that you have been rooting for
If they're just over and over just letting you down
And they're not showing any signs of getting out the mud
And it really is just like in a bad place
You have an opportunity to leave a toxic relationship
So I'll give it a yellow flag
Let's say most which teams specifically
No I mean I kind of did when it comes to the NFL side of things
Like back if I was 16, 15 years old, I'm through and through.
I'm bleeding blue bra.
I'm a fucking Carolina Panthers fan so I die.
Obviously because Cam Noon had it out or whatever.
And then I stopped watching football once he had a decline.
And I just like didn't care about football at all until like literally 10 years later.
And now I switch teams.
Why?
Because I live in Chicago now.
Start a football show.
And now I'm like, okay.
Like I think it's pretty valid reason.
I think the operative word here is switch.
Like they definitively made a choice.
For whatever reason, I think it takes some courage.
I think it takes some ability to be, like, definitive that I want to support the team,
either because they're incompetent or, for your instance, I'm a new point in life.
I'm rolling with the new team.
I think as long as you're definitive and you stay with that new team and that's your team,
I kind of think it's good behavior.
Yeah.
Something that slightly bothers me is if someone's like actively a fan of like two teams.
I'm like, ah, you got to make a fine, man.
That's kind of cowardly.
Switching is cool.
Like, as long as you have a team and you have a rooting interest, I think you're enjoying the game the right way.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I just need to know
it really is the water.
What if I love the Chargers
because I was born
to Chargers fandom
and I was like,
I hate this.
And I was like,
now I'm a fucking Rams fan.
Actually that same city.
Now I'm a Eagles fan.
That'll be a little weird
a little bit because...
I mean,
but there still is like a level of incompetence
that the charges have shown.
But in that scenario,
I just don't like losing.
That like,
it's not like their owners are racist or something.
I'm just like...
Okay, I think it has to be
a deeper reason than that.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah, deeper.
Unless, like, you've been losing for, like, historically 30 years.
So I would have to do it when they left San Diego.
I would have to tie myself to some kind of thing.
But, like, if you're a Jets fan, though, and a Jets fan says, like, oh, I want to go.
Or even now, if you're a Kings fan and, like, let's say you're 16 right now.
You're a Kings fan.
They haven't, they've been to the playoffs once in your life every other year.
They're at the bottom of the league.
I think it would be okay if you're, like, 18.
you're going into college and you're like
you know what I don't want this for my adult life
I'm gonna do my own thing
I think specifically if
this is your dream dad not my
if you want to do that with the
with the fandom I think it's okay like one time
I think if you're 18 and you saw them
trade DeN Fox for practically
nothing and let him just walk over the air Fox
you got to go up here
they need one more reason they need one more reason
one more done decision if a Mazz fan
was born to that because their dad's a Mavs fan
they trade Luca and you're like
oh yeah fuck this
I'm going to the Warriors.
All right.
Yeah, that's fair.
Vellant.
You said, they got rid of Subbon.
No, I'm out of here.
Hey, man.
Who will fucking say that.
This is just the ups and down to life.
Weather that storm.
You got to get through this.
It's going to be another subonis, son.
All right.
Next.
They think Kyrie is harder to stop than Steph Curry.
Listen.
What do I even got to say?
I'm going to give this a yellow flag
because it depends on what like context you're saying, I guess.
If it's like a one-on-one thing
when you've seen them go one-on-one
so many times over the last like 10 years,
then you could have an argument.
Is it true or right in like a full team context,
which is what actually matters?
No.
But if it's a straight-up one-on-one,
sure, bro.
You can talk for two seconds.
I'm not going to get you crazy.
Nobody talks about one-on-one basketball
unless just to have disingenuous takes like this.
No other context
is where we talk about
one-on-one basketball
and an NBA conversation.
The only time someone says that
is they want an excuse
to be like,
I like Kyrie more than stuff.
Exactly.
This is the only valid excuse.
This is their only argument
to hold on to that.
Okay, if you add some qualifiers
you say if it's a one-on-one tournament
in an open gym
and we're only talking about buckets,
three dribbles,
and you do all these things
to make it make sense.
Yeah.
Then sure.
What if a player said this?
I feel like low-key,
it's more acceptable
if a player said this.
Because it's like their lived experience
like Kyrie was piecing him up.
Yeah, I mean, what am I going to say?
I mean, okay, good for you.
Yellow flat.
If a player says this, then I'm like,
I think you're kind of dumb a little bit.
Why?
If a player's on a podcast and someone asks them
who are the hardest point guards to stop?
And the convo he says,
or, you know,
and the obvious context is winning basketball games
because you're an NBA player competing
and he's like,
I'm taking Kyrie over Steph.
And it's somebody on a podcast,
it's Bobby Portis on a podcast.
I no longer want to listen to the Bobby Portis podcast.
Because I'm like, bro,
I've seen you run.
for your life when it comes to trying to deal with Steph Curry, you know?
If it's a one-on-one thing, then okay, fair.
Let's the different conversation.
But just harder to stop on a, like, a normal basketball Wednesday night scene, then I'm
I have red flags about you.
Yeah.
I'm concerned about you.
I'm going to go yellow because I do think that a lot of, a lot of the times the conversations
are like one-on-one focused.
Yeah.
And with Steph, there is an element of like, hey, like, if the shot goes up, then the shot goes
up.
But actually allowing somebody to get to their shot,
some people might feel like it is harder to deal with the mental of
Kyrie and his dribble package.
And then also I might get embarrassed a little bit more.
So I'll say yellow flag.
Again, if it's one-on-one, it's a different combo.
I assume the context here was they, it's not one-on-one.
And they're just like, period.
Because some people say that.
Some people were like, man, give me Kyrie, like, without qualifiers.
But yeah, if it's one-on-one, obviously, it's a different combo.
Okay.
Next.
They have a favorite referee.
You're a bitch, man.
No, no, that's not what that means.
What does that mean?
It means you need to call the hotline.
If you have a favorite referee, you are gambling.
Okay, Red Flag.
Yo, I've never seen anyone have a favorite.
Like to a bad extent.
You got to delete Fandle, buddy.
Yeah.
Yo, man, that's insane.
Yeah, this is some goofy shit.
It'd be like, I love Scott Foster.
The way he just
He just gets me going
When Scott Foster shows up
And walks in that arena
Oh does it get me going
Yeah
My favorite
It's the worst
His signature move
Wow
Beautiful
I think like favorite
There are
There are refs
That obviously like
Show up a lot
In big time games
And like
The way that they make calls
Is kind of entertaining
True
But I think
Having having a favorite
Is wild
It actively looking
For their schedule
To see who
They're calling games
against you do wait too much man hey cody brothers is playing tonight let's go i gotta go to the game
bro get a selfie with the ref i'm going to buffalo a wild weeks to watch tony brothers yo bro
so yeah i'll say i'll say red flag if you have a favorite ref he's the highest scoring
refs this season man most accurate guy out there you're nasty red flag ew i also just think you have a
strange brain that pays attention to things other people don't maybe it's a great maybe you're a genius
actually but honestly maybe you're rain man especially now a lot of people do have refs that they
for two to call their games like before especially for gambling for for gambling but also just like
the superstition of it all yeah because of the I think because of the Chris Paul and Scott
Foster thing okay I feel like they have least favorite reps though they're like I don't want
Scott Foster or so I feel like everybody but Scott Foster is more of the sentiment that's well I'm
saying because of that relationship I think a lot of people rather like oh I wish we had such
and such because the the Knicks record is good whenever you know so
so-and-so is rough in our game.
So I do think this actually is something that is low-key bubbling up among,
really, among like the sickos.
I've never heard that.
That's crazy.
Okay.
Next.
They think Jalen Brown's overrated.
Well, see, I think Jalen Brown's overrated.
For what reason?
But I don't think it's a green flag.
I don't think it makes somebody better.
I think it's just neutral.
It's just an opinion that I don't think says anything good or bad about you.
So I'm just go yellow.
I need to know why you think he's overrated.
Fair.
Because you could just be hating
So you better tell me he turns the ball over too much
Not he talks too much
Yeah
Yeah okay
Yeah I think he's inefficient
Not a good playmaker and doesn't have
He turns the ball over too much
I'm not like you better get off stream
Quit yapping
Yeah
It's different
Yeah I think I almost wanted to give this a green flag
Because I'm like yo you're gonna have to explain this
Because you average what damn we were 30 last year
Second Seed all that
Finals MVP
But there's more to it I think
I'm giving her a yellow flag
Yeah okay
So it can go either way, so yellow flag.
Okay.
Next.
Bill Russell's in their top five all time, and they're in their 20s.
I think it's a green flag.
I don't think it's bad.
I think the end of their 20s is funny.
You're saying it's performative.
I think you appreciate the goats and you've educated yourself on the history of the game
and you don't think they're just plumbers and don't matter.
You realize you got to judge them in their era.
I think it's a green flag.
I have Bill Russell on my top five, so.
But people do have that sentiment of like,
oh, you never watch this for it.
How can you even have an opinion?
And that's dumb.
I've never,
I've never shook hands
of Beethoven.
I guess he'll listen to that
and be like,
that's some good music
that's the test of time.
Now,
Beethoven's your favorite artist though?
Yeah, well,
Bill Russell's not my guy.
But I'm still in respect what he did in the game.
Like,
have you heard of Patrick Lamar?
Like, what the fuck?
I'm gonna give this a green flag too.
It takes some real research
and real like knowledge.
You obviously take in a lot of time
out of your day
to really like
analyze this career and all the things.
So obviously is a green flag.
It's unique.
Look at you trying to be different.
And it's working.
Yeah.
Yeah, and I think the unique part of that is true where like if you're in your 20s,
you're not just going based off of what other people I've said is their top five.
You actually, I'm assuming if Bill Russell is in your top five, you've actually thought about
it for more than two seconds.
And maybe it is performative and you're being pseudo intellectual or whatever.
I'd rather you do that and then work your way back to reasonableness than to just be like,
those guys are plumbers.
That shit didn't matter.
Yeah.
Bill Russell's not top 20.
Yeah, yeah.
I'd rather you be 19 years old being too well.
and then come back down to normal.
That's a better place to start.
Okay.
Next.
They leave games early to beat traffic.
Man.
Red flag.
Lame as hell.
It is,
it is lame as hell.
Most of the time,
a good portion of the arena is leaving at the same time that you are,
so you still are going to have traffic.
And with as much as ticket prices cost now,
you better stay for that whole game.
What was the bad game?
Stay.
What if it's Hawks versus Bulls March 13?
Hey, this already made the commitment, though, for real.
First of all, you knew that going in.
Yeah.
What if I plan to leave the fourth quarter going in?
I'm just dumbass?
You're a dumbass.
At that point in time, you paid to watch three quarters of basketball and leave?
What the hell?
They got you.
You paid full price.
That's exactly what I was.
I wanted the pretzel.
Pretzel isn't that good, brother.
You could get.
I want to take a pick for the gram and get out.
If you have an Instagram business account and you're making money off of us,
that, cool.
Of making money.
I'm saying I'm out of game.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
If you're taking like just hella aesthetic pictures, okay, cool.
But if you're paying, if you're paying money for good seats, just to get an IG
pick, that's a bad thing.
What are their nosebleeds and they're cheap and they're $30 a day of?
$30 a day of.
Now we're at that point, we're talking principles.
It's no longer money.
It's just principle of the game.
It's respect for the game.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I still think that's red flag.
Okay.
It's not on your, but what if you arrive the games late?
I hate that.
You're dumb as fuck.
I hate that.
much, much more than leaving the game early.
They start every NBA game late. If you are late,
you want it to be late. And I just think you
just, I don't trust you to do
any plans. Yeah, no, that's
kind of embarrassing to come to an NBA
game late, bro. Yeah.
Okay. Oh, I hate that
so much. It was also more embarrassing too, as if
like you do leave a game because it's somewhat of a blowout
and then the one
team starts to go on a run, turn things around
and you come back trying to find your seat or whatever
next to you know, it's gone. I've got to seat out of place.
You look even more stupid.
bro i've seen people show up late to games and leave early
what yes and at that point i'm like you gotta be a season ticket holder for that
i'm just like why are you here didn't even try to be efficient today yeah okay next
KG's in their top 10 all time i've never seen that before honestly that's so that's so
fucking green flagger troll blizzard you know something we don't i guess uh yeah i gotta give
it to you has to be a lot of context in your argument
But I want to see it be made.
Is he in your top 10 Bsos?
No.
Oh.
Like it's such an outlandishly unique take that like it's a red flag, but it's so red that it turns green.
Because I'm like, fuck it, you do your own thing.
It piques my interest.
I'll say that.
Exactly.
And listen, I don't really care about the validity of your top 10.
I don't care about anybody's top 10 for real.
So it just interests me in a conversation and give me a reason to say, huh?
You're just trying to be unique, man.
You won.
Yeah, you win.
And I'm a listen.
I'm asked questions.
I think it's, I think it's performative.
It's super perform.
You know?
And I, yeah, I think it's too much.
There's a need for performative.
There's a need for performative.
Yeah.
We need that in this world.
If everybody has the same top ten and nobody's willing to say stupid shit for us to have conversations about, what is this all for?
Yeah.
Performers got to perform.
They do, they do.
We're watchers?
We need performers.
We need discourse starters.
So I understand it, but you're doing a lot.
Green flag for being so dumb that is captivating.
I gave a green too.
It gets the people going.
It gets the people going.
Next.
They think Yokch is the greatest offensive player ever.
It's fine.
Yellow, he's not, but I think he's like top five in the convo.
So if you want to say he's one, I think you're a little too woke.
And you'll probably realize over time it's LeBron or it's Jordan or whatever.
But he's close enough that I'll give it a yellow flag.
If there's one thing that Yokic will have a fair argument for it is the greatest offensive player ever,
the shooting, the passing, the scoring inside, playmaking on all levels is just ridiculous.
When damn near being so close to winning fucking four straight MVP is insane.
that's fine with me. This is the only
stamp where I'm like, okay, like you got it. He's definitely
in the conversation. He's definitely like sure fire top five.
To sneak him into like you call number one, it's fine.
I'm a, I'm a say green flag, but I will call you
a nerd at the same time. It's because it's so
uncool. Yeah, and that's just my only cap. Yeah, that's what I'm saying yellow flag
because that nerd shades is in me. I'm like, it's just fine. Like,
you're just saying something regular. That's a little interesting and a little
overzealous, but like it's pretty regular. I'll go yellow.
He said, be unique. That shit don't impress me.
Say something crazy.
Yeah.
Say Tim Duncan is the best offensive player
Yeah, let's get fucking freaking
Tell me Wally Zurbiac was in the convo
For best offensive players in the league at the time
Yo
Tell me something crazy
All right, next
Tell me Draymond Green was a top offensive player
Because he how he won the possession battle
Tell me that
Okay
They think MVPs are more valuable than rings
Oh man
That's an interesting one
What does I say about them?
For star players
That probably just says your favorite player
Is somebody who doesn't have rings
You're probably a James Hardin fan
Yeah.
Red flag.
You're probably intellectually dishonest and you're just saying that to big up your best player.
If your player had a lot of rings, you'd probably say the opposite.
I think I'm going to give this a yellow flag because you're being true to yourself and you care more about like individual accomplishments than what everybody else going on.
You know what?
You're honest with yourself.
You're telling on yourself.
Go watch boxing, buddy.
Go watch individual sports.
We don't do that here.
I can't align myself with you with that often.
But it's respectable.
I say yellow.
you're trying to be anti-ringes culture
and so you are trying
to push for the certain narrative
but you got to respect the rings.
Ultimately you're right. I'm a
fallback because no one is going into
the year. Actually, be like, who's
going to win MVP this year? And that's all that matters
there's so much more than that. Yeah.
Like if you're pushing on ring culture again, only people that say
that are people whose favorite players don't have enough rings.
Yeah, you only play to win a championship.
Like nobody's that passionately saying individualism matters more than team
accomplishment. Yeah. Anytime a player
actively says first that they're
gunning for MVP, it gives me
the ick a little bit personally.
And I think the last time someone did it and actually did it
was like, who, Joel and B. or something like
that, I think.
To be wrong.
The ick. Yeah, it was like,
he is not sliding in Joel NB's D.O.,
you're not trying to
icked out. Go to the UCCA final. That's it.
Really, Anthony Edwards?
MVP? That's not really like
grown and sexy of you, man.
You don't want to be? Yeah.
60 wins? You want the MVP?
Like 28, man.
I'm sticking around.
Getting NBA X is hilarious.
Yeah.
That's real though.
It's like you want MVP that bad?
There's other things going on.
Okay.
Last one.
They became a warrior's man after KD joined.
That's so, honestly, you're staring down the face of fire.
Everybody in the world is telling you that do this and you're bitch made and you still want to do it.
No.
I don't know, man.
That's crazy.
No.
That's not respectable.
It's not respectable at all.
And for that alone, it's a red flag.
But it's, that's so crazy.
Because I know, because now that you do that, I know that for personal gain,
you will do something not respectable.
You know what I think, you know what I'm saying?
Like, that's such a selfish move.
Is it?
To join the Warriors bandwagon when they get KD.
Yeah.
You are bypassing all of the normal fandom pathways.
And you, you know that you're going to get a chip whenever, whenever the team plays.
Like, just not a fair human in society.
What if it just tells me that you don't care about what people say about you?
And you're just so tend to do that.
There's other ways to do that.
Then just standing on it.
Again, it reminds that dude on the airplane mean, just, you're stepping my flag.
We're going to say something about it.
You're standing on a bad hill.
So you are bold.
You'll die on your hill, but your hill is made a shit.
And you're only standing on it because you know other people don't want to stand on it.
Yes.
It's not good of reason.
It's a small amount of manure.
It's not even a hill.
Yeah.
Perfect.
Red flag.
Red flag.
You're an idiot.
You're an idiot.
Yeah, just straight out.
I don't want to be around you.
You're an idiot.
He used to be saying something.
just to say it whatever the majority says
no matter what the context is you're going the opposite
way always that tells me yeah
for no fucking reason bro
just always playing devil's advocate for no reason
yeah you don't even believe in it bro at all
that's worse that's hilarious
all right but just to pose the other side
I got it
next thing we're gonna do
we are gonna play NBA start bench cut
I'm gonna show you guys three players
you decide like I said who to start
who to bench and who to cut
twist is you do not know the players
you are going to do this only off of their
stats afterwards when you decide
based on the numbers who you'd keep and who you'd bench
and who you'd cut, we'll reveal them.
Okay. All right, let's do it. So
first up, of these three
players, all mid-20s points per game,
who are you starting?
All right, so player A
is pretty good.
They're 49% from the field,
37% from three. Is that damn near two
blocks or two steals a game? Yes.
One point one. One. One. One. One.
One of them, two point two for the other guys.
But player C has two point two steals.
And is a slightly better three point shooter.
But it's efficiency overall, it's like 43.8.
Eh.
I might just be launching it from three.
Could be highball three point shooter.
Okay.
Okay.
Um, but I think we can cut player B.
Even though that they are very like well-rounded.
Or do you think honestly that-
Most assists.
Six assists moves me personally.
Okay.
I like well-roundedness.
It's close to 27, 7 and 7.
Those are like magical angel numbers from Mo.
He sees LeBron in the sky.
Here's that in his ears.
For sure.
This definitely is my 2K build.
Yep, from the back year.
Yab-dabudu-do-old.
I think I'm leaning towards 37% from three is tough, though.
I ain't a lie.
I was going to say I'm leaning towards B and C.
B and C.
Who's getting cut?
That's easy.
this conversation.
Who's getting cut?
Honestly.
I might want to cut C, honestly.
C just off of efficiency,
Loki, just to be on the safe side.
So that...
Because it's not like the playmaking from C,
at least from an assist perspective,
like gaping A.
Okay.
Yeah.
All right, so we're going to cut player...
We're going to cut player C.
The highest volume score is gone.
I think I'm a start
player B person.
What you want to do?
Playmaking maxing?
Yeah.
I think...
the 1.8 steals moves me,
but also this could just be like a,
it could be a two guard that is very,
I think player A is a two guard
because I don't think that they're like a crazy playmaker,
but I do think that they are enough of a defensive playmaker,
probably, you know, playing the passing lanes and stuff like that.
And they're very, very good.
And at 37% from 3, 50% basically from the field overall,
they're still efficient enough.
a score to where I'll take that.
So I kind of want to start Player A.
Player A could be like Kauai or something like that.
6 to 3.3 is a big difference in playmaking.
That's a, that's a meaningful gap in quality of playmaker, I feel like.
Now I'm not playing along.
I know the answer.
That feels like Player A feels like someone like Kauai or something like that.
So what do you think be?
Are those super strengths?
I love the playmaking from Player B, man.
You know what?
Honestly, I think Player A actually might be a better player though.
Why?
Because to be that efficient while also like,
grabbing that many steals.
It's a lot.
A lot of players in league, in my opinion,
can get six assists, but those aren't necessarily
like meaningful assists.
Same thing could be about, set about steals or whatever,
just be in the box or whatever, but.
Jaylor Johnson fan talking.
He knows about some project.
Boy, three, masses.
Slow down, brother.
Slow down, man.
He's actually, he's everywhere. He's different.
I think I'm going to flip and start player A.
Okay.
All right.
Yeah, let's start A.
Bench B.
cut C. Okay, perfect order.
You guys have started.
Reveal.
Coi Leonard, 2019.
You've benched Jason Tatum and cut MVP third place, Paul George.
Damn.
Is this the right choice?
Yep. You guys got it exactly right.
I think so. I think so.
Yeah.
You guys nailed it.
I was sure you were going to accidentally bench Quai Leonard for Jason Tatum.
No.
You clutched up at the end because you knew it was Quai.
You figured it out.
Yeah.
I see how efficient that is from three.
What he's doing when it comes to the steals or whatever?
assists playmakers not his bag at all but that don't really mean too much I'm happy with that
and I'm glad listen Andy a word's also getting a point guard is going to do
massive things for the way we talk about scores because hey man if you're just a bucket and you
and that's what that's what you do we don't have to make you into a point guard we don't have to
make you into something that that you're not and kawai is one of the best versions of that
yeah especially in that year yeah because you have defensive value and off ball value
being a true wing but cutting MVP
for Tatum.
Your goat.
You'll fucking live. You'll fucking live.
You're okay.
You're okay.
I don't sit right, man.
He's not that bad.
You're all right.
It's also not in the B.
He was just on the ballot.
Has Tatum ever been on the ballot?
Number three specifically.
All right.
Was it like four a couple times?
Yeah.
Yeah.
He always starts off hot and then just drills off.
Was he four this year?
He might be four this year.
Not this year.
Oh, yeah, I don't know.
This season a couple years ago.
Not true.
I don't remember either.
All right.
All right.
Next up.
Ooh.
Three players all around 13 points per game, all rebounders.
All right.
So these are all bigs.
This is impossible to tell, bro.
Like, these are all the same numbers you're asking me, bro.
Like, if I was reading this off in a regular pocket, I'm like, say, yeah, they're all
average 13 and 10, bro.
That's it.
What the hell?
So player A did take a three at one point.
The other two is not applicable.
I think we should go.
I think we should start player B off of blocks alone.
Yeah, I feel like this guy in us into trouble before
Probably Walker Kessler
But 2.2.3 blocks
Now, I mean, Walker Kessler is taking threes
But he's player B is the least efficient though
He's 62% from the field
That's not necessarily great
But at 13 like
We got the most assists
1.4. Also player 8
Like I think these other two guys
Because they're so high because they are at 65, 67
they might just be dunkers.
Like they might just be lob catchers.
One guy is eight rebounds.
Couldn't crack double digits?
Yeah.
Get out of here, buddy.
Get your big ass in the paint.
Only one block.
Because if you're not, yeah, if you're not taking threes,
if you're not taking threes and you're not a stretch big
and you're not getting 10 rebounds a game.
What's the same about you?
Come on, man.
Yeah.
You don't want it better enough.
Like, get out of here.
You could want it better though, but you just might not be able to get it.
So we're cutting gaps.
You're not physically capable of wanting it.
You're just boxed.
I think I'm going to go player B start.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Let's start.
Let's start player B.
Bench player A.
Cut player C.
Yeah.
Player C's gone for me.
Only one block a game was tough.
Reveal.
You guys started.
Rudy Gobert.
You bench Clint Capella and cut DeAndre Aiden last year.
Okay.
There we go.
We did this perfectly.
DeAndre Aiden?
You're still not Clint, buddy.
He barely got one block a game.
Yeah.
Oh, my God.
You still can't be Clint?
Clint took a three last year?
I can't send this guy.
No, that's 2018.
Ah, okay, okay.
Yeah, there's specific years.
Everybody on the Rockets was taking three.
I know.
Then Tony's a madman, bro.
Mind you, Clint's shooting 0%.
He missed it.
Yeah.
They just gave more for fun.
It says your time.
We're up by 60 against the fucking Hornets.
Take one.
You started the best defensive player over there.
Everybody go bare.
Yeah, we did a good job.
Smooth.
Okay.
One point four assists from Rudy.
Shout out.
Diamond.
He-hees.
Dime.
Dimer
At round three
A 33 point per game score
26 and 10
And 19 12 and 7
Okay I know player A's like
Joel and B or something like that
Probably
Smells like it
What's he smelled like
Sweat and buckets bro
Hmm
He doesn't
He wants to know
Player B is close
to, I mean, we don't know what they shoot
from the free throw line, but 50-40 is
kind of crazy. To be
26 and 11
and 50-40 is very nice.
And I do appreciate that.
Ooh, see, bro, player B
is crazy as fuck. You're right. 27,
11 and 4 is crazy.
Yeah, because you stay at 1.2 blocks
a game, almost at a
full steal. Do we care about Player C
at all? I feel like we've been cutting
player C a lot. I think I'm cutting
him again too honestly.
He's giving Subonis, but like I know
Sabonis doesn't take threes, so maybe it's not him.
37% is a solid number.
Yeah.
So bonus can shoot 37% on two attempts for game.
And he's really on the inside.
I'm cutting, 61.
5.
Yeah, I'm cutting the fuck out of player C.
You don't respect seven assists from a big man?
Hell no.
Point five blocks.
Hell no.
That's a...
That's actually Sub bonus.
That's a whistle for hell.
That is Sabonis, of course.
Hell no.
Okay.
I said somewhere cut in C
Yeah
It literally is
Hell no
His numbers are crazy though
But it's like still man
He's supposed to work for numbers lie
So do we want to start
Player A or Player B
I feel like there's not really a strong argument
Just off of what we're looking to start
Player B over A
Bro it's seven points more
And he shoots 41% from 3-2
Which is fucking crazy
41% from 3
41%
Yeah you might just have
But at the same player
Yeah
For player A to shoot 33% from 3
And still have a higher field goal percentage
He's getting bucket
Yeah
He's going crazy
So I think this is the right order
Yeah start bench cut
There you go
And the reveal is
Player A is Joelle Embed
Player B is Carthetowns
And player C was Demothe's
Dampote's
Dude Towers
putting up numbers in 2020.
Yep.
Okay.
Yeah.
And that was the draft that got,
that the year that the guy,
Anthony Edwards,
because they were really bad.
Yeah,
this was right before they got Ante
to come take up all the shots.
Yeah.
He was a fantasy basketball,
demon in 2020.
You had them?
No, I just know.
He was just like one of the top players.
Yeah, you guys are the right job.
You obviously should start
33 point per game score
that blocked shots.
Clearly.
I can't believe you consider
not doing it.
Yeah.
Next one.
23, 3 and 6.
27, 5, and 6, and 18, 3, and 9.
All right, let's look at the steals.
1.1, 1.2, 1.4.
I've always said the steel should be the first thing you look at.
The same.
I've always said this.
34% from 3.
I've been saying even.
Bro, probably he's like, Shay or something.
Maybe.
You can feel it.
I just want to see if they were all, like, wings or whatever.
I think player A should be benched no matter what,
because he's yeah i'm thinking i'm benching player a starting player b cutting c
but c is like good also too c's really good actually
that could be christ paul or something like that come on now
tray young oh yeah 40s come on now way too official for tray young my fault my fault come on now
man tray young's not touching those numbers actually i'm i'm starting player
i'm cutting be trey young has a shot cutting b cutting b i think i'm cutting b why
vibes
I think it's the same thing
because it's the worst three-point shooter
but it's the same thing as last time
where his scoring is much higher
than everybody else's
and even though that his three-point shot
is below everybody
his field goal percentage is still the highest
he's a bucket-getter
okay but we have to
player C can be cut
can't
no
for what reason
I wish turnover numbers are here too as well
because that would like sway you
he seems he's hyper-efficient
he's the most efficient guy on here
so you want to
you want to start the most deals here too
you want to start see
he gets the most deals he's the most efficient here
has the most assist and he's
like damn your 20 point
for game scores is that like haliborin or something
or Cp3 or something like that
I have no idea who
player B might be though
I feel like just going off of this
player B is like objectively better than
A the only thing A has is
what I don't even know
he doesn't have anything over anybody bro
Hey, literally every number is lower.
Yeah.
So I think that's three point.
I'm starting player C personally.
I'd rather bench B.
You got it.
And I'm cutting player A.
Cutting player A.
There you go.
Hey.
Now see if Mo's right.
Reveal.
He started.
Tyrese Halliburton in his final year.
Bench, John Morant in his best year and cut Keonti George from this year.
I think I made the right choice.
You made the perfect choice.
John Morant 27, 6, 7.
That's a lot of numbers.
But that's his best year.
He was whooping.
He was.
He was hooping.
Him and Tyreus Hallibur.
That's a debate.
But yeah, you almost fell to the Kianzsche George bait of not cutting him.
You should definitely cut him.
Yeah, he didn't ruin it.
Damn.
Didn't have been a single category.
Yeah, damn, man.
The most efficient.
All right.
Next up.
Ooh, three guys scoring in the mid-teens.
Okay.
We got some role players here.
Love those, man.
Yo, player A, 1.9 blocks?
He was swat and.
55, 56% from the field.
Player A has to stay.
36% for 3.9.2?
Yeah, I don't, I don't care.
He's staying, you're right.
Yeah, I don't care if it's only 1.7 assists.
That's crazy.
What position do I think he plays?
Probably four, three, four.
Yeah, probably four, maybe.
So who's getting cut?
Player B and C are virtually like the same players, bro.
But B is way more efficient.
B's a slasher.
B is getting to the bucket.
Yeah, I think we couldn't play your C.
All right, yeah.
Do you want to start B?
Actually, not.
There's no reason to start B.
I think that, yeah, this is probably the right order.
Yeah, it's the right order.
Okay.
She gets no blocks, damn.
Who did you start?
You started.
Chad Hongren, benched Aaron Gordon, and cut OG out of Novi, Mr. Tip.
Damn.
He takes a lot of threes, though.
it is imagine you didn't get to see that because you cut him
is this necessarily the
wrong choice yeah it is yeah it is
over 23 Aaron Gordon
203 I think over the last two year
wait what you oh this is this
past year of check and his chat and OG
just not a debate anymore I mean Chet's an all-star
and obviously we were judging him at his worst PR was
yeah it's not crazy to start at his best
at his best when the tip was the most
ridiculous tip we ever thought about we didn't even look at the
steals at all for OG2
that that kind of cooked this a little bit
I completely
missed the steel.
Yeah. It's like a game to a game.
Damn.
A lot of steel shooting 38% from three.
That is a demon clearly.
Yeah.
We fucking folded.
We look for blocks.
There's no blocks.
You let Aaron Horns Creek by.
Yeah.
On Skane.
Yeah.
We missed with that one, I think.
Good.
Next round.
Damn.
Ooh.
11, 18, 20 points for game.
We got some variance here.
Bro, under 40% from the field.
Get off my team.
I'm not even real.
anything else you just cut.
I'm fine.
Would not change my decision either.
Player is cuts.
No matter what.
There's no discussion.
11, 2, and 3.
Player B, 1.5
steals 21% from the line
though, from the 3-point line.
That's not much better than the players.
Is that like a man?
It's giving Josh Giddy, player B.
No, no.
Josh Giddy's not good.
They shoots really well from 3.
Too well.
21% from 3.
Yeah, no.
Maybe like O KC Josh Gittier or something.
player B is way more efficient
Oh way more
From the field yeah
But also can't shoot threes at all
Player C's at 33%
You're not a
You're not a demon either
I think I'm going to player B
And I'm benching C
Yeah start B cut
I mean start
Start B bench C
Cut A
Cut in the hell of A
Can't even enter the conversation
A can't even look at you in the eyes
Who to hell let you in this club man
And let's see reveal
Player A was Bones Highland
Player you started
I'm in a man Thompson and you bench Jordan Poole.
I'm with that. I'm with that.
I like it. I like it. I think we did a good job.
You didn't even look Bones Island way.
This is Bones' career a year?
Last year.
You had to say, oh.
I just mean a shit.
I'm just asking.
He said, damn, it's the best.
That's all you got.
You made the right choices.
All right.
I'm for 10 on it.
We're doing pretty good.
You are.
next up a 14 point for game scores 17 and 19
player a and player c 1.5 steals 1.4 blocks
demons player c 1.3 steals 1.5 blocks
y'all get to stay but player b 9 assists a game
7.4 that's still nice yeah
the other ones are slightly more efficient player a
is definitely more efficient player a staying now I'm smelling
Josh Giddy.
Everywhere you look, you smell
Josh Giddy.
It's a recognizable
sent to you.
You just love Josh Giddy.
What do you smell like?
Relax.
Bro, I said the craziest thing
about Josh Giddy the other day.
He had this Michael Jackson.
The craziest thing?
Yeah, it was just weird.
Okay.
Sorry.
You never see crazy?
Gay, what did you see?
Bro, bro, bro, bro.
I wasn't there to win.
Bro.
a Michael Jackson impersonator
in his living room and he was just
recording a guy dance
It was so weird
That's definitely one of the Josh Gitty headlines
I've ever seen
What did you see?
If you see the craziest Josh Gerely
you should be spooked
What would you do?
How would you react if I just had a Michael
Jackson impersonator at my crate
just dancing for two hours?
Is it the one that specifically
like slides on the floor
and like it's up
people's faces
I don't know
What's he talking about?
I don't know
What is he talking about?
You don't know
Michael Jackson
impersonator game
What?
Slides got the
There's some signature
dudes
Fabio,
you all know about
Fabio Jackson's
Yo!
Yo!
All right man.
He's
neck
Yeah, man.
Yeah.
Yeah,
you guilty.
It's a bad look,
man.
It's just a
Look, honestly.
I don't know what to take away about that.
I was consuming a lot of Michael Jackson discourse when the movie came out.
I don't know.
Oh, my God.
What the hell?
You have ranking?
I know.
Michael Jackson at Princeton.
He's got his top five.
He's got a favorite.
Invite them all in the same room.
The impersonator off.
It did sound like you have a favorite.
No.
Or at least that you had an opinion on who the best is.
You had an awareness of the hierarchy.
That implies a favorite
It's crazy
Nah
If I did
It's probably the dude
That slides on the floor
He's just mad funny
Like a lot
A lot of old people
Invite him for
For like their parties
And he just slides on the floor
And gets up in their faces
Okay
Anyway
We all start benching
Oh man
Yeah
I think
Let's cut player B
Okay
I think the stocks
Demons
We should just keep them
Yeah
player C's too impactful defense will be to cut.
Yeah.
And even though, even with the, the eight and nine, I just think, I just think the other, the other players are a little bit better.
Like the 19 and the almost 20 points per game and eight rebounds, I'm with that.
Yeah.
So I agree.
So I probably start player C, bench player A, cut player B.
Wait, wait, wait, you want to start player C?
just because they have the most points and the stocks are crazy.
But, I mean, 19 or basically 20 points versus like,
shoot and damn your 40% from 3.
That's meaningfully more efficient.
Same amount of stocks too pretty much.
Sure, you got it.
All right, we'll start.
Yeah, we'll start A.
Okay, Mo gets his way.
Donovan is submissive to most choices.
We'll end up being correct.
No, they're cutting the cutting B.
Yeah, we're cutting.
and benching C.
Benching C.
Okay, well, the second time in a row, submitting to Mo work.
Let's see.
He started Dreyne Green.
Ben Scottie Barnes cut, Joshua Giddy.
Smelt them.
Yeah, I think it's good.
No, you worked.
It worked.
You got exactly right.
Good job.
Submitting to Mo worked.
You know what?
Here's a prize for you, man.
I almost forgot.
I got something for you, man.
There you go.
There you go, man.
Read it out loud.
Show and toe.
He got some sloppy jokes.
This man just submitted to me.
And Mo and Mo,
and you got to order to hear.
And Slop.
Here's some sloppy.
I saw that story that I thought about Chilma.
You know what?
I'm going to grab this, man.
I'm going to give us some sloppy.
I appreciate that.
What was that time you had one?
It's been a minute.
It's been a minute.
See?
See?
Looking out from my homies.
What's wrong with that?
You know, give your home is your favorite food?
You give someone a sloppy.
What?
What?
This is just food, man.
What do you somebody?
I'm trying to brighten his.
Day, what the fuck are you talking about?
You wanted him to like already have like the ground beef cooked and like present the sandwich?
That'd be really good.
That'd be pretty funny if you did do that.
Yeah.
I could try.
I mean, you could give it back to me.
I can try.
That's not good.
All right.
All right.
I'm on this this weekend.
Yeah.
All right.
See?
Next round at nine, eight and ten point for game scores.
All right.
Bro.
Where should we do?
I don't even.
Oh my God.
40% from the field?
Let's cut everyone.
Player A is the most stats, but 40% from the field is hilarious.
So I think we should start.
We got two triple singles here.
Or C.
We should start C, I think, though.
Player A is the only one double digit in any way.
Yo, but he average five assists a game.
That's a good amount.
What if you only choose threes?
He's not a good three-point cheater.
It's a fake shooter, man.
He's convinced you.
Man, what the fuck?
Yeah, player A has to be like, like a, like a Pat
Bev or something like that.
We're like, you're, you're going to luck in into some shots.
You're taking a lot of threes.
But so you have like some playmaking, but it's not, it's nothing crazy.
I think we could cut player A.
Really?
40% from the field, 33% from three.
You might just be a player who gets a lot of minutes.
Okay.
Player C doesn't do, or player B doesn't do anything defensively at all.
Yeah, like he, one point three assists.
He's a worst rebounder doesn't do anything
He's a better shooter though
He gets the worst seat
Oh that's Tori and Prince or something
I do
B's a better shooter
But two rebounds
One assists
That's hysteria
The other one has 2.7 rebounds
These also not
Not grabbing boards like that
But he does he
Playmates though
How did he get him out
Five assists is a single best ad on here
Yeah
That's five times the asses
The other two
That is a big
And also player B
doesn't do anything
defensively
I think I'm a player C's staying right
yeah he's staying I think it's about him
and whether I want to start him or not
you know what players he has the best combination of everything
let's start player C okay
he's the worst playmaker here though
one point one you're not even trying
can cut B or cut A
I think I've got to cut B bro
because he does nothing
0.1 he's a shooter
B is a shooter 5 steals
you're going to regret this
you know what okay okay okay let's
you know what
we'll cut A
there you go
okay you submit to Moe last time
that was submit to Donn
that's fine
okay
submit a biddy
reveal is
you've started
Zachary Roussaay
you've blessed Jared McCain
and you cut Dennis Schrooter
how the hell do you feel about this
I don't know
I'm glad we have McCain here
is this rookie year
Zachary Rich
no position
you train away
the guy you want to start
you traded away
your favorite.
Honestly,
I, listen,
I'm,
we should have
I'm cool with this.
I don't know,
I don't know, man.
Definitely should have kept
shrew here.
Yeah, he's fine.
It's also fine
to custody reader who gives the shit.
It's okay.
We're going to tell ourselves
the shit,
versatile.
Yeah.
He could be the,
for,
by the dip.
So I'm saying,
for seventh options.
By the dip.
You're right.
We're doing okay.
And next one,
18, nine and three,
18, six and one,
28 and six.
I'm not like a lie.
We've seen a whole bunch
of numbers.
My head,
on her.
But listen,
let's look in a real quick.
I know you're seeing double.
Bro, player B.
We've just seen numbers on numbers on numbers.
Bro, player B, he has
three blocks a game.
It's starting to bubble up a little bit.
Three blocks.
Lock in, please.
Three blocks.
The game is fucking crazy.
We were doing this for like 10 minutes,
though.
I feel like I'm in the matrix.
A little bit.
Just walk outside to see straight
numbers.
I do need some sunlight.
These are all good players, though.
I just do the eye test for like 30 minutes.
I've been doing facts.
1.7 blocks is...
Time about player B has three blocks.
That's what I'm saying.
He wasn't even listening from.
He's starting to fucking short circuit everywhere.
He said time now
What the fuck?
Were you listening?
I wasn't listening.
I didn't hear.
I was talking.
The number is just
me.
I feel like Mason.
You're right, though.
Player B, I think he has to start.
Yeah, he's going crazy.
Now the rest on him, man.
30% from 3 versus 26.
But 29.
It's so much better.
With more steals and blocks,
the three-point shooting is basically the same.
But player is slightly better.
Overall more efficient.
1.7 blocks is crazy.
That's real impact to me.
That difference in field goal percentage
doesn't move me enough.
They don't average more and anything else.
Wait, is players the old man bronze?
I mean, old man bragging,
grabbing nine rebounds a game.
Also, old man brown,
2.3 stocks again.
Doubt.
Doubting the king.
Okay.
I would...
I watch the old membrane every night.
I would bench...
Because that's what not active?
You want to cut player, are you?
Yeah.
He's the most efficient dude here.
That makes sense.
They'll cut him.
Bench C.
Not really.
Reveal.
It's a game.
Reveal the decisions.
Damn.
You started Jared Jackson.
Bench Sangoon cut Evan Mobley.
That is not old man.
I feel good about Jerry Jackson.
That is the old man.
it all. Damn
Shangoon. That's all you got.
Yeah, we should have.
I mean, Mowgli, that's all you got.
That's all bad numbers.
18 and 9. Oh, but it's not 18 and 8.
True. He's got 18 and 9.
Yeah, he's making growth.
The nickname is false.
Jokes over facts, man.
He's jokes over facts, man. You got to
run with it. Okay. DP O.J.J. No, three blocks a game.
Salute.
Yeah. 186 is crazy, man. Is that's what not grabbing rebounds?
We should have known it was him.
Yeah.
Six rebounds.
Yeah.
But it was a good decision starting him.
Okay.
I'm okay with it.
Last round.
Thank goodness.
9, 20, and 10 points per game.
What are you going?
20 points, one assist.
9 points, 3 assists.
25% from 3 and 9 points.
What is B doing here?
That's Jalen Green.
What is B doing here?
I feel like A's bait.
A has to be bait.
Yeah, A's numbers aren't screaming.
Also, 25% from me.
three from player B.
But two steals point out blocks,
that's like a saw or something.
And see,
52% from the field, too.
Like, he knows his role and he thrives in it.
You can't take a whole lot of three to be a 52.
Bro,
two steals the game is.
And also,
damn near a block as well,
which is the highest at I ruin.
I think we start player B.
Yeah.
We start playing.
Seems like a very versatile player.
Yeah, most assists here as well, too.
And rebounds?
Yeah, we're starting.
player B. I mean, it's
30, sis.
It's still, it's the most here.
You know what I'm saying? Yeah.
It's the most here.
We're not working with a lot, baby.
And then I guess player C
shoots better from the field, shoots better
from three, has
slightly more blocks, better
playmaker a little bit. More stocks
than a, you know.
Player A just feels like a one-way type of player
that, like, lucks into a steel.
It's like Kyle Kuzmer or something.
Okay, so you want to just base off of vibes bench player C and cut player A?
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
Cut and player A player you started is
Usar Thompson, you benched Grant Williams and you cut Dylan Brooks.
Oh, we overthought it.
Damn.
He said he's bait.
But listen, this is like two years ago, Grant Williams or three years ago.
Sick.
Okay.
I'm glad you clarified.
He was a good player a couple of years.
go. For sure. Like before the injuries
he was nice. Yeah. We were doing
too much. We should have just
mentioned 20 points for game.
Jalen Green's
I don't know if he's better than
Grant Williams. That's Dylan Brooks.
I'm saying
even if it was
that's Dylan Brooks.
That's Dylan Brooks.
Hey, bro.
Let's do it Brooks.
All right.
Next thing we're
going to do. We are going to put every NBA second option into a tier list. I say every,
you know, I'm lying. There's not 32 players here. I mean, 30. We're going to put all the second
options on the contenders that can actually win playoff series. So there is 19 teams represented here
all their second option star players, S through F, decide the hierarchy of the league.
How do you guys feel about your team second option? My team? Your team? Terrible. I don't have a
second option. I have a great second option. Who's your second option for? Is it OG or can't?
No, that's a crazy question.
I don't lie.
I mean, OG's, his defense is crazy.
All right.
Who's the first name up, B, souls?
First name up.
Sangoon.
Oh.
You could do worse.
I think you see.
I'm going to see.
Not horrible.
Honestly, the fact that his off-wall game is so mediocre.
You can't put him very high, even though he's an all-star.
He's not a good rim finisher off with dump-law passes.
He doesn't space the floor.
Not a good defender.
Not a good defender.
He really needs the ball to provide value.
Yeah.
And your second option, by definition, they shouldn't have the ball as much.
Yeah.
If the transition, like somebody like him should be thriving, playing next to somebody like KD.
And the fact that the Rockets still have just a little bit of hiccups in their, in their offense.
And the only time that we saw those to be like dominant is for a 10-game stretch when Shinggoop's 3 was falling, I can't really, I can't really get behind that.
Yeah, I think we go see.
Okay.
Next up, who we got?
Next up, we have Austin Reeves.
Reeves, the second option
I think we go
I didn't want to say A
But I
What consensus is probably not there yet
But this is the second option
You're right
He's one of the best second option to lead
He's not top top tier
So
I think he's top tier actually
Like S tier?
I don't know if he's S tier necessarily
He's at least A
He's one of the better schooling second options on this list
I can get behind A
I don't know if S
I think if I'm a number one option
On the team and I go down
with the ankle injury or whatever
for like three minutes, you know?
Yes, he won't.
Also really gonna go down with it with an angle in there as well.
Like, nah, but he has a little bit.
Sure.
I guess as much as anybody, but he can actually carry an offense on the benched units.
Like he can actually play offball next to a star and still provide value and carry bench units and carry to wins when your star player misses.
That's at minimum A.
Yeah, like he just works well with you in any scenario that your team is in.
He could be us, honestly, as a second option.
He's probably one of the, I haven't done the mental exercise yet, but he,
He probably is like a top five, six or top three second option in the league.
Yeah.
He probably will move up.
Again, we're trying to make these S is more exclusive.
If we're saying S, you have to be like an amazing second option.
Like that makes you championship contender because you have this guy there.
He's definitely not that.
I think it is fair.
All right.
Okay.
Next.
Jalen Duren.
I mean, right next to Shangoon or a tier below.
I think it's a tier below Shangoon.
You know what?
A tier below because he was dog shit in the playoffs.
And now he's an entry to the season grumpy at best.
If you put Shangoon in that business lineup,
I think they take care.
They end up winning, of course.
But they went a little bit more clearly
because he's not going to be as bad defensively
or provide no type of value literally.
On the last seven months,
my BF.
Yeah.
If we're talking about right now,
he is at the lowest point in his career.
Yeah.
So it depends how harsh we want to be.
I think D's okay.
I think we can assume some sort of bounce back.
D's all right.
I think we can assume how weather to storm
and learn from that asshole been and D's okay.
Okay, next we have
CJ McCollum
Fucking D
He won two games for us
No playoffs
That was dope
He had a good week
Yeah
That was a great week
And that matters
Sure
A week matters to some extent
I can say
I can say that
He did he did have a shook for a second
Yeah it's closer to F and C though
That's also true
But he's not F
Yep
Put him right in D is swell
Okay
I love how averages work
Exactly
Mr. 83, Bam, out of bio.
And he's a fantastic second option.
I think he might be S.
He feels like an S top of second option.
The scoring just has to be a little bit more consistent.
And the spacing has to take a big step this year.
Yeah, for me to go S.
I think he's the best player to A.
Yeah, I think he's the best player to A.
I think if we're going to keep S being stingy and you've got to be like amazing, amazing
to be there, he could break into that year if we see him play off of Yon is good.
But I think A is a good assumption because the defense.
And I'm not even asking him to score 83 anymore.
Like he doesn't have to do that every single every single night
Can I get 43 and then we can you know keep it moving
Yeah but he's the best play he's definitely better than reuse
He's the best player day
Okay
Okay next
Paul George
Ooh B
He doesn't do a lot
He's so he's so inconsistent at this point in his career
He doesn't have the lows of Shangoon
Because Shangoon like his lack of ability to finish plays could be a problem
But he also doesn't have highs like that
Like he's just there
He's just a role player
Yeah
The lows of Paul George
be pretty low now.
I guess, but like, you don't have to have the ball in his hands very much.
So, like, if the lows are there, he's just based on the floor, like, it's easy for him
to glide through a game and not impacted that much?
Yeah, I don't think he'll ever be the reason, or right now as you speak, should be
the reason why you lose or win a playoffs.
It's probably real.
He's just not as impactful as these other guys.
The ceiling isn't there for him to win a game.
Are we doing too much on Jalen Dirt?
No.
No.
No, fuck no.
Do you see him in the playoffs, bro?
No, I did.
Like, when's the last time you looked at,
You look at them stats.
What's the next time
like you've seen him get backdored?
He's got to prove
he's playing the playoffs first
because like,
oh, shoot,
he was getting legit backdoor it every day.
He currently doesn't have a contract
as recording this on Thursday
the first of October.
What time is the dinner?
Tonight at 11 p.m.
Damn.
Okay.
Generation.
Next.
Lamello ball.
I'm going to say beef right now.
He might,
he can elevate super,
super high,
but this is going to be the first time
that we've really seen him as a second option.
And I,
think it's going to be the first time we see it and it's immediately going to work i think a i think he's
with his playmaking next to a star score like aunt is going to do so much to elevate him we talk about
reves being a because when you're playing without the star you can be so great and still provide value
to me it's all about well obviously obviously lamella can do that too considering he was a first option
and i think he has way more impact on making aunt better than reves does to making lucca better
i think he's a clear a okay i agree i thought i was gonna have to argue is that just like an
an ant specific thing though and like for where the wolves are maybe but i think it's a lamello playing
with the star scorer type of thing.
And it can be any star score.
It's the first time we finally seen it.
I think it would be great.
Like if you play with like Tatum or something,
like you'd think that the results would still be.
That would be filthy, I think.
Okay.
Also, do you point about Duren?
I think C.J. and Paul George might just be F.
Yeah.
Loki.
I want to do that?
If we're using the full tier-less.
CJ, yeah.
On a consistent basis, sure.
Dern was an all-M-B-A player.
Yeah, I think Paul George is probably closer to C.J.
than Dern.
Yeah.
Okay.
That's your guy now, though.
That's your second option.
Hey, well, we'll talk in December.
I don't know about.
What are you been talking about?
April.
All right.
Next.
Pascal Seaccom.
Solid B.
Yeah, he's the most B.
Solid.
Really?
I feel,
I feel like because he is so solid, we have to go A.
The other guys above, like,
Austin Rees is one of the best slashing guards in the league.
Lamella's on the best passers in the league.
And Bamadabio was a god-tier defender.
I don't know, man.
Pascal's had moments.
He's,
He's like the best of all the,
when it comes to like singular traits,
he's so well-rounded compared to all these guys.
There's not like a real, like painful weakness
that's on Michael Mello or Austin Reeves.
And even Bam can give you at times.
That sounds like beating me though.
That sounds like the well-roundedness
rather than the one like game-breaking skill
to build a team around.
That sounds like the definition of B.
That's why he's better than the Shangoon.
Would he have been A during the championship year or the finals year?
I don't think so.
I think he's always in B.
No, I think especially during the championship year,
we probably could have gotten to A.
But the team is so good
I think Seaccom
He's still as good as he was in that year
Like I don't I think he's just always been this
And the team's perfectly equipped to get the most out of him
But I know I'm just a real
He's an all-stars as other guys are so it's not crazy to put him on that footing
I think I think I I think he's he's up there
I yeah I think
Year in it and year out like Pascal's gonna come in and he's gonna do
Exactly what he does and that that consistently give it gives your your star player
A little bit more more wiggle room
because you don't have to worry about
oh, is Pascal going to show up?
He's going to do it.
He's going to do his job.
I feel the way about all those guys in A2.
I'm not 100% there with Lamello
on a night to night basis.
Yeah, that's fair to say.
With Lamello, we're more so projecting a little bit.
And with Pascal Seacom,
we've seen him be mad consistent.
And I think that consistency
lends to him being A.
I'm not mad at myself
for projecting a Lamella
will be more impactful than Seacom.
In the first time he's in that perfect role for him.
I feel like it's a safe assumption.
But it is an assumption, so I do recognize that that's a risk.
I think we do give Siakamei.
He doesn't get respect a lot.
Okay.
All right.
Next, Jamal Murray.
But after the playoffs, I'm sorry, you got to be beating me.
Sure.
How many years are we going to see him get absolutely
locked the fuck up by the Timberwolves and give Yokic no help at all?
How many years are we going to see the same story playout?
Are we can keep calling a playoff riser just because he did it before?
And one time does carry a lot.
You're right.
Yeah, you got a championship out of it.
And shout out the bubble.
He's had some runs where he was.
was amazing and he's had an equal amount where he was absolutely terrible.
Should you be C?
No.
C?
No.
He had a great relationship.
Because I think even even Shangoon like as bad as the end of the season was, I think
Shangun, he's obviously not elite at doing like the number one stuff, but I think he can,
he might be able to scale up a little bit more than Jamal.
I don't want him to do though.
I think there's no ceiling when you have Shangoon do more.
You don't think they're the same tier?
He's not locked up by Aiton.
Not locked up by Ayn.
Yeah, but like Jamal's shooting himself out of series as well.
I think regular season, Jamal is much more valuable,
and that matters to get into the playoffs.
So yeah, I think Lamel.
I think I think Jamal Murray is a better player.
If you told me to the same tier, though,
I don't think it's insane.
But to me, this is more about shangoon slender.
I just think.
Fair.
But the collapse is for Jamalmer.
have just been so bad.
But he was shooting curry numbers
in the regular season, so.
Which makes the collapse even worse.
I agree. That's like, hey, yeah, that's such a fool gaysy year.
And that's why you're not sniffing awesome reviews.
Talk to me.
Damn, it just feels weird seeing Lamello up there
and this clear tier between them.
Yeah, it's projection.
And I think it's a good projection.
He's, the way, I think we've all kind of like bought into
Minnesota.
They better perform, man.
Yeah.
Like, this has to work.
so well and Lamello has to walk in day one and be such an additive player.
And I think this is one of the rare situations.
Yeah, I agree.
But I also do think this is one of the rare situations where two star players come together
and it works immediately.
You really see that.
Yeah.
And let's make things clear.
We will switch up on Lamello as soon as we can if we need to.
If it fails, we will switch up.
Let that be clear.
Lamello fans, this is only ally territory for now.
If it doesn't work, we will switch up.
Okay.
I'm next.
Franz.
See?
Yeah.
I am very confident in Franz and I think if he was one option, you can do a lot more.
And I think Palo Bancaro not being good enough one option, the team shooting not being good enough, the defensive infrastructure falling apart is all a bigger part of why they failed.
It would help a lot if Franz could shoot the ball better.
Yeah.
As a number two, if you're not that kind of shooter, it's really hard to play off of the main guy.
Yeah.
C's just like a just a deep, not deep.
Flawed basketball who's really good,
but it's just hard to work around.
So he belongs in that tier, sadly.
Okay, speaking of deeply flawed players, James Hardin.
Oh, at this point of his career, B or C?
I don't think we can go B.
I would say C more than more than B,
but also he's just going to let you down.
Yeah, it is what it is at this point.
He's very old, and that shows itself in a lot of ways.
See, he's cool.
Very old, man.
Yeah.
Tell the Media Day picture looks very old.
Not D?
No, it's calm down.
It's Jalen Dern talks there.
All right.
Another Jalen?
They both disappear.
Jalen Green.
Oh, this might be F for real.
I'll go ahead.
All right.
We got to move Paul George up.
No, that's fine.
I don't know.
Yeah, Paul Drs would probably be D, right?
He is better than, he is much better than Jaylon.
He's in a different tier than Jalen Green.
Yeah, let's let Paul George say and D.
CJ can be an F with Jalen Green.
You got a guy now.
A D tier's second option.
Is C.J. as bad as you agree?
No, of course not. He's way better than him, but he's a tier below Jalen Dern.
Okay.
Okay. Try Young.
Maybe the easy answer is we just don't overreact. We put Dern and C tier.
No, fuck that. Okay.
Trey Young.
I think for now C.
Yeah, C or B.
If we gave Lamello credit, we think he'll fit to this role well.
If we want to get Trey on that credit, too, okay, he's much smaller than Lamello and has
so much less scoring impact than Lamello.
Tier below.
I think C's okay.
But he could very, very quickly prove to me he'd be.
I think if we're projecting on this list and assuming, like, yeah, he will take a slight step back and help provide more offense to guys like AD SAR, set up SAR specifically and really like help unlock all these guys.
Also not being as much of a hindrance as he's been before in the past when it comes just jacking up a lot of shots and being like OD inefficient, he could be B.
and I think that he
That's what he might end up being
Maybe, but he's got to prove it to me
So does Lamello too
No, Lameau was great last year
He was good last year
It was good last year
Okay, what's trying to get it off
No
Trey Young was bad last year
Oh, it didn't play a lot last year
But in recent years he's been bad
For his standards
And I believe he can be good again
Lamello showed me a lot more value
Than Trey Young has in recent years
It is crazy though
That like Lamella had the best year
Of his career
And immediately his team was like
Yeah, we're
don't want you.
Yeah, yeah.
That's the selling high because you don't believe in his ankles.
How much is that factor into anything?
I don't know.
I mean, if he gets hurt again, he gets hurt again.
I can't do much with that.
I hope it doesn't happen.
That's all I can do is.
Should we move, Tray up?
I think we should.
I don't think so.
I think he's perfectly in a sit next to Shangoon,
two flawed players that have their skills, obviously.
And if they prove to us, they figure some stuff out playing next to stars this year,
they can quickly move up.
I don't think he's earned his way to be.
Well, no one's earned a way into anything.
Yeah, but.
I don't think he's earned for us to assume he'll be be
I think just the fervor with which
we're talking about Lamello
I do think we should move Trey up a little bit
I think Lamello's better than Trey up right now
And I don't feel that bad saying that
I don't know if he's two tiers better than him right now
I think he showed two tiers of faith in him
As a second option next to really good players
Him as the second option
Yeah I think one being much bigger
And not having the defensive liability that comes
Being a second option defense
liability is tough.
Like you can deal with that when it's your star, do everything engine.
When it's not that guy, you're not asking him to provide that much value.
Having no hope of being good on defense is tough to stomach.
Lamello just has hope of being good on defense because he's six, seven.
Yeah, he luckily.
He's been a defensive liability all his entire life, though.
He's not that bad.
He's not like non-starter.
You cannot do anything.
You cannot have any good defense.
You can just theorize it because the height, that's it.
It's not theorizing.
They had a good defense with the whole second half of last year.
Like they, he's been parts of competent defenses.
Tray Young is tiny and it's just impossible.
Yeah, that is true.
But the Hawks have never been a top 10, top 10.
Fuck, no.
Now was Ray Young there.
The highest you ever been probably was like 18 or 17.
But when he left, it became Top Ten immediately last year.
Yeah.
So, yeah, it's half the ball is a non-starter.
I just don't see Lamello as that big of a hole.
Yeah, for sure.
I can, I can understand that.
Okay.
And I just, I don't know, I just, I just fear that Tray Young's falling off more than I do
a mellow by a meaningful amount.
I just kind of have it in my head that maybe he's just never going to be a good
score again.
And like, I'm not saying it's for sure, but I'm scared.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah, this is all to improve a year for him.
If you want to say C, I can understand.
I think I personally haven't.
If y'all have him, yeah, I don't, I did it.
B's okay.
That's fine.
That's fine.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Jaydub.
Oh.
I mean, I'm, I'm kind of thinking it's.
I'd like, when, when healthy, I think J.D.
And I think his ability.
to score, I think, his versatility
defensively, his
running maintenance, like,
he's, he's esteer. Yeah, the fact that he can play
off ball as a slasher, as a spacer,
play on ball, obviously the secondary creator
is an elite primitive defender, can defend
Biggs, defensive playmaker,
he does so much you want next to a star.
Yeah, he's like an even better
version of a complete player that Seacum
is right here. He's like plus five across
all actual actually when he's at his best. Has his ring
as a championship secondary player? Like,
this is the type of player we'll look back on in history and say
that's an elite second option that made his star player better.
Yeah.
Is Bam not S?
I'm looking at it?
We're putting J-O-Bad.
The offense just has to be slightly better.
And the fit is what makes it won't.
Yeah, I won't be shocked at all if he's S.
Let me see it worked really well with the honest.
Yeah.
Okay.
Kyrie.
Coming off an ACL, 35 years old.
Probably still around B though.
I think if he was like healthy, healthy,
Kyrie would be A.
Definitely.
But we can knock him a step down because of the ACL.
Okay.
We'll say you're an elder now.
You're B.
If you show us,
Unk still got it.
We'll put you A.
Okay.
Steph Castle.
Oh, that's A.
Having an elite point of attack defender like that
that can also play make and throw lobs to your big man is a respectable shooter,
especially in the playoffs.
He's an extremely flawed player, but his strengths are so strong.
Yeah.
And would he be great?
Nick without Wemby?
I don't know.
But that motherfucker has Wembe and he always will.
So he might just produce like A all the time.
Yeah, he's A for sure.
his shooting is so wildly streaky
and that's like the ultimate thing
that'll decide where he
lies on most NBA
like scales or whatever
but he's a he's a
okay Scotty Barnes
hey
yeah could well honestly
what yeah what would it take to get him to S
honestly just staying healthy next to Kauai
the whole time I think he's actually gonna be S
he's been healthy you want to say yes
yeah I meant to do well staying healthy together
like as long as him and Kauai play 60 games together
he's gonna be S
I think I think whenever we talk about
Scotty, his perfect role is to be a number two.
Yep.
And I think he should be S.
Yep, I agree.
Because, yeah, the talent and the production matches him being like the second option.
Again, he's a dream of true of a second option, bro.
Like, what do you mean?
You can play?
You can play pretty much like guard literally all five positions and not really have
much fits to you as well.
You can score at a decent rate.
You're a good finisher at the rim.
Yeah, he's a dream teammate.
Yeah, we've been, Scottie Barnes.
We've been begging for him to be Scotty Pippen.
Now if he gets a chance to do it, it's going to be beautiful.
He's going to be overthink it.
It's going to be perfect.
Yeah, him and Zadab are literally so far on this list.
The only two players who you can add to any team in the NBA,
and they immediately get so much better.
You know it is?
It's big wing defenders that can playmate.
Yeah.
That's the cheat code.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
Last big wing defender that can arguably playmake.
Gillum Brown.
You see the second option?
See the alpha?
Is Tyre's, he's the alpha?
You know what?
you're still a second option like you always have been put him in a damn put him in a
could it be yes nope why not he has a finals MVP big wing he's he's played he played the second
fiddle role as well as you as you could yeah i'm just hate him i'm kidding but he obviously could be
yes uh i don't yes he's he's probably neck and neck with jadob so i guess he should be yes yeah
i'd rather have scotty barnes i think in that role just because of the turner i don't think jaylon
Brown.
He's obviously good
to win championship as a second option.
I don't think he has the
additive super effect that maybe a
Scotty Barnes defense might prove to have as
like being a lineup cheat code.
But he's so balanced, so good off ball as the score
is a good point of attack defender.
If you weaponize that,
have him defend the best wing.
I do think that obviously the weaknesses,
the turnovers are bad,
the offball defense is terrible,
all that stuff makes him a flawed player.
But it probably does sound out to S.
Scotty Barnes and Jalen Williams are also fucking flawed.
Exactly.
Yeah, I think because of
how high his strengths are,
and he pretty much has, like,
maybe one or two weaknesses
that aren't the worst weaknesses in the world.
Scotty Barnes' jump shot has been wildly inconsistent,
and J-Dub can be a turnover machine here and there.
Yep.
And not to say that J-Brown can't,
but his weaknesses aren't as big, I would say,
as those two.
Yeah, yeah.
Most people would probably rather have him than J-Dub as there's a second option.
I don't know if I always agree, given the team context,
but there certainly appears.
Yeah.
And Scottie Barnes should just might just be overqualified.
sick
traded away a S tier second option
For a D tier
Love my life
Salute
Salute
Is that the last one?
Yeah
Salute
Yeah I guess
Bam might prove to be S tier
He low-key could be that right now
And put a Mester
Yeah let's give Ben Monte
You know what
I'm mad proven too
Yeah
Put a Mester
Yeah
there you go heat fans hope you stay to the end of the video i'm sure you didn't so you'll be commenting

So if you guys know how this works, we will say names one by one, me, Mo, Donovan, as the order.
Beasles, you will be in the blender trying to figure out what they all got in common.
Sick, I love being in blenders.

That's the first thing he thought about when I saw Jason Tatum.

He didn't say superstars.
Hey, man.
Let's revisit that sex symbol conversation.
You tried to revisit that twice in the last week.
We don't want to talk about that no more.
I'm done.
He really wants to.
It goes up to him.
It would be Quentin Rives and Jason Taylor.
I can't believe how fast he got that.

You do have a type.
Jellon Brown's a good looking dude, man.
So is D. Wade.
